This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. God's word is your answer. You are entering into a supernatural miracle working season. It's a divine appointment that God himself has set up with you. It's the season or the set appointment that God made of Passover. And there are actually three feasts during this time. Three divine appointments is a season and a time that God has set up. You say, what does that mean? Well, it really is all about the blood covenant that God made through his son Jesus Christ, when he was crucified on an old rugged cross, buried in a borrowed tomb, and rose again on the third day. But this is your date of deliverance. Now we recognize as New Testament believers, we don't celebrate Passover like they did in the Old Testament, but we still celebrate it. We recognize that Jesus has become our Passover lamb and it is through his blood that we are protected, provided for, delivered. But there is something where God sets up a set time. He sets up an appointment and says, hey, I don't want you to be about your normal business. I want you to be about what I have in mind. So let's explore that and find out what are the blessings and the benefits and the rewards. What is God up to in Passover? And always go to paulawhite.org you can look at our shows that we've done. You can get articles on this because there is so much revelation to it. So today I'm going to teach you on five things, very practical things about Passover. But you find it at first in Exodus, chapter 12, verse 7 through 14. Now remember, God said, get this lamb, it's got to be spotless, etc, etc and that all represented Jesus Christ in verse 7. Then they are to take some of the blood from that lamb and put it on the sides and the tops of the door frames of the houses where they eat the lambs. That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with the bitter herbs and and bread made without yeast. Do not eat the meat raw or boiled in water, but roast it over fire with the head, legs and internal organs. Do not leave any of it till morning. If some of it is left to morning, you must burn it. This is how you are to eat it. You see, details matter to God. With your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand, eat it in haste. It is the Lord's Passover. Now I want you to understand this. The children of Israel had been in bondage for 400 years. They'd been under this righteous ruler, when Joseph, the one with the coat of many colors, had served Pharaoh and become the prime minister. So now Joseph is over all the king's estate, basically over the treasury. It'd be like the head of the Treasury Department or something. And so Joseph has favor with them. But after several generations after he died, the Pharaoh, which is just simply a name for king, simply said, enough. And you can see it in the book of Exodus, where it says they oppressed the Israelites and they made them do rigorous work. And the more they oppressed them, the more they multiplied. You see, when you're in covenant with God, no matter how bad it gets, God has you. So God said, 400 years and it's over. There is a date of deliverance. And Passover is so important because one of the main themes, themes of Passover is freedom, deliverance. Coming out of Egypt, coming out of a place of bondage. Is there a generational curse that your family is still wrestling with? Do you have a child that is strung out on drugs or alcohol? Or perhaps you have someone that you love that is mentally tormented or somebody that is severely sick and ill or prematurely? Too many people are dying in your family. The devil is a liar. In John 10:10, it says, the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. That means he wants to utterly abolish your purpose. But God came through his son Jesus to give you life and life more abundantly. So the importance here is there is a date of deliverance. So God is saying to all the spirit realm, passover. Honor the blood covenant I made with you. Honor that. And I'm going to bring you out in haste. I'm going to bring you out quickly. And look at verse 12. On that same night, I will pass through Egypt, strike down every firstborn of both people and animals. I will bring judgment on the gods of Egypt, for I am the Lord. Because God's saying, who do you stand by my covenant, my blood, or the gods of this world? And that's what those ten plagues were about. They were about the gods of Egypt. And God said, look what I'm about to do. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, that when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt, this is a day you are to commemorate, remember, memorialize for the generations to come. You shall celebrate it as a festival or divine appointment to the Lord, a lasting ordinance, quick. That's so important because of the blood. They're great benefits to you. It is the blood that protects you, that provides for you, that delivers you. In Exodus 12:14, God established Passover to be kept forever. It's the Lord's Passover. And this day shall be unto you for a memorial. You will keep it a feast to the Lord throughout all your generations. You'll keep it a feast or a divine appointment with God as an ordinance forever. Here's the importance. From Genesis to Revelation, God says, this is mine. We practice it different, but we still honor it. All the disciples, Jesus, they all participated in the Passover. Remember, there's only one literal Passover thousands of years before Jesus. Passover in the Hebrew is paa ch to extend the arms or wings over one protecting them. So Passover is not so much as passing by as it's passing as to shield over protection. And God heard their cry. Exodus chapter 6, verse 5. And he remembered his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Why? Because God is a covenant keeping God. What his mouth speaks, his right arm of power causes to be performed. And he told Moses come forth. He was sent to Pharaoh to demand freedom of God's people. And Passover is for your freedom. Ten plagues happen. Exodus chapter 7, Exodus chapter 12. He was about to give his people a new beginning. Now this is the greatness because I want you to think what's your life going to be without that destructive habit when you don't have anxiety and worry and fear over your children? What's your life going to be when your marriage turns around and it's not a place of torment but a place of peace and joy and love. You see, crisis moments are turning point opportunities because they create decisive moments. This is where you can choose to be forever changed by that moment, by this divine appointment of Passover are ruled by your circumstances. I don't believe you're watching this just coincidentally because there's no such thing that God has caused you to see this because you have a date with destiny. And they are divine moments of change. A moment of enlightenment. A critical but life changing moment that defines and shapes our history for our future and for our children's future. In Exodus 12:6 Israel was instructed to keep the lamb until the 14th day of the month and kill it in the evening. Now watch this. That's at 3 o', clock, the same exact time that Christ died. There's no coincidence to this. Details do matter to God. And I'm going to take you through some of these line by line so you can see the importance of Passover. That what you're really remembering is the death the burial and the resurrection of Christ. It also happens to fall on our Easter. So Good Friday, culminating on Easter. And what you're seeing is, what is it about? It's all about the death, the burial and the resurrection of Christ. Oh, you have victory because he got up. You're going to get up because when he came forth, that means that everything that devil wants to hold you down with, stop you with end and destroy you with, the devil is a liar. You're about to see God's supernatural miracle working power of deliverance, of protection, of provision in your life. So according to 1st Peter 1:2 and Hebrews 9:22, before they ate, they had to take the blood, which was for cleansing from Egypt, like defilements. So before you see your victory, you, you've got to partake of the blood. And they had to strike it on two posts, the upper doorpost of each house. Now that represents something very important. Why did it have to be the top of the doorpost? Because we know, according to Hebrews chapter 10, verse 29, it represents that the blood is not to be trodden under. In other words, the blood is too precious to walk on to just stampede on or stample over. Not going to happen. He said, you can't trod in on the blood, you can't walk on the blood. God said, eat all of the lamb. So remember, when we go back to Exodus chapter 12 and you see all these details, I only read half of them to you, but I want you to read that entire chapter. He says, eat of the lamb. It is the Lord's Passover. The lamb was roasted whole and not a bone was broken. John, chapter 19, verse 36. Jesus did not have one broken bone. I want you to see, this was all foreshadowing. Our Lord and Savior, our Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus. Why is the shedding of the blood, the eating of the lamb and the placing the blood on the doorframe so significant? The same night the angel of death smote every firstborn in the land where there was no blood. So when the blood was not there, death came, destruction came, but the lamb's blood became their salvation. This is Passover, you see, God will turn your captivity around. Your deliverance has a date. Exodus, chapter three. He says, I'll give you favor when you go. You're not going to go empty handed. You'll take the silver, the gold and the remnant with you. Now there's a lot of teaching there because silver's redemption, gold is glory, raiment is practical provision. And Psalm 105, verse 37 says not a feeble one was among them. Every one of them had supernatural health because they ate the lamb. Think about that Passover. And it's much what we do with communion. It's the body and the blood of Jesus. That's. That's much the same. And that's why Paul really says to us, look, if you take this unworthily, if you take this without repentance, many of you will sleep, which means many of you will die. And many of you are sick because you did not discern the Lord's body. Passover is all about the Lord's body. It's all about supernatural, divine protection, provision, deliverance and freedom. In Exodus, chapter 15, verse 4, there was complete deliverance. They came forth to the Red Sea. They're looking behind them. There's Pharaoh's army. They're looking ahead of them, and there's a Red Sea. And Moses, the man in the middle, the man that stands between God and God's people, says, stand back and see the salvation of the Lord. And what happens? That Red Sea literally opens up and they walk across on dry ground. Now, when the Israelites or when the Egyptians come to do the same, they drown. You see, they had a covenant because the blood was on the post. It's all about the finished work of Jesus Christ and the covenant of provision. Some people are not going to make it, but you who are, are in covenant, are going to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Passover showed the Lord made a distinction between his people and those who were not his people by the application of the Lamb's blood to their doorposts. Now, this is so important because Jesus is our Passover lamb. First Corinthians 5, 7, 8. Purge out, therefore, the old leaven, that you may be a new lump even as you are unleavened. For even Christ, our Passover is sacrificed for us. Do you see this? Do you see how it all links together? Therefore, let us keep the feast. Not with old Leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. His blood must be appropriated to your life to be protected, to be covered. And this is what I want you to understand right now. Because of that blood that is appropriated, there is a distinction. I'm not ashamed of the Gospel and the power thereof. Most of the times when people criticize me or come after me for something, it's because of an instruction from the Word. I am radical. I believe the word of God I believe in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. And that would make me radical. I believe that what God says, his promises are yea and amen. And the importance to that is I want you to get in this word. I want you to go, well, what is this? Passover. Of course you don't practice it like they did in the Old Testament. You don't have to go get a lamb and burn it. Jesus, as we just read, became your Passover lamb. But I want you to understand the importance of God's word working for you, that he will deliver you, he will protect you, he will provide for you.

There's so many things I want to share with you about Passover and the depth of this for your deliverance, for your family's deliverance, for your freedom. I want you to understand that this really is about the blood covenant that Jesus Christ made. Because the blood is what saves you, the blood is what heals you, the blood is what provides for you. So when we say old fashioned stuff like I plead the blood, there's a lot more power, a lot more punch behind that. It's serious. The Spirit World knows the power of the blood, and they never want you to discover it because you are clothed with garments of salvation, wrapped in robes of righteousness, which means when demonic spirits see you, there is a robe of salvation. They see the blood. They cannot penetrate past the blood. Now, here's the beauty of that. The extension to that is over your family, if you honor and recognize that. That's why there are people that are still alive. That's why there are people that God has kept because of you standing in that place of invoking the power of the blood covenant of Jesus Christ. Now, there's also five very important but more practical things about Passover. I don't know if I'll have time to teach them all, but I want you to understand them. So the depth of this is the blood covenant. The practical of this, but very important about Passover can be summarized in 5. Memory. Because memory is very important to God. Optimism, hope, faith, family, and responsibility. So what's the importance of memory? Well, in this time that we live, which is a canceled culture, God says, I want you to remember. Remember that you were strangers in the land of Egypt. Remember that the Lord took you out of the bondage of slavery. Remember is a biblical mandate that had never seemed important to anyone else before Jewish people came on the scene. It was the Passover story that initiated a commitment to memory in Joshua 4. Take 12 stones as a memorial. When your children ask, what do these stones mean? Well, the Lord brought you out of the Jordan and, and put you on dry ground. A memorial is something that keeps remembrance alive. Why is that so important? Because you are one generation away from falling away from God. If we don't keep the remembrance alive in our nation, that it was founded on a Judeo Christian foundation, why our forefathers left England in the first place, how they established this great nation, then we've already seen what the possibilities and potential are that literally Satan will say, let me take captive America. Because America is an important nation before God. We dedicated it to it. We preach the gospel around the world. Just like Israel is an important nation to God. First Corinthians 11, 23 and 25 says, For I have received of the Lord that which I also deliver to you. That the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread and when he'd given thanks, he brake it and he said, take eat. This is my body that is broken for you. This do in what remembrance of me? After the same manner he also took the cup when he had supped and saying, this cup is The New Testament in my blood. This do as often as you drink in remembrance of me. So remembrance means a recollection or reminder. I really hope you remember the power of the blood and the price that was paid. As we approach our Good Friday and our Easter Resurrection Sunday, watch Mel Gibson's the Passion of the Christ. Watch the movies that invoke you emotionally and make your mind remember the price that he paid. It's brutal. Sometimes it's hard to watch when they're beating him, but because of those stripes that were on his back, Remember Isaiah that prophesied in clear detail in chapter 58 that he was wounded for your transgression, bruised for your iniquity, and with his stripes you are healed. That's your date with deliverance. Because of the blood, because he bore those stripes, cancer has to leave your body right, right now. Epilepsy has to leave you right now. Barrenness has to leave you right now. In the name of Jesus. I just feel by the Holy Spirit, and maybe this is as far as we go. And I'll put the rest of them on the website, but I want you to know if you can remember the price that was paid. He came in a lowly manger. He died on an old rugged cross. But he rose the third day so that you could be victorious in every area that sickness and disease has no place in your body. In the name of Jesus, I command every spirit of death, every spirit of sickness, every spirit of infirmity over you to be gone right now. In the name of Jesus. Because he bore those stripes and blood ran down his body, he was beaten to the pulp. You are healed, you are free. You are delivered in the name which is above every name, the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. There is no other name greater than that. I invoke the name of Jesus on the basis of the blood covenant, to bring healing from the crown of your head to the sole of your feet. And I extend Psalm 91 to you that says the Lord will satisfy you with long life in Jesus. Mighty name. What sacrifice is the blood to you? What is the value of the blood to me? It's everything I think about my life, how much it's been changed because I understood and do understand and keep getting revealed on the power of the blood covenant that was made with me can never be altered. I don't care how many haters there are, how many people that don't want you blessed. If God promised it to you, he sealed it with his blood. Passover is a foundational pillar of our faith. And God Himself has a set time to celebrate. It's on his heavenly calendar for our release from struggles, bondages of the past and the freedom that can only be found in Christ Jesus. Your deliverance does have a date and God told Moses In Exodus 12:24, you shall observe this thing Passover as an ordinance forever. You see, Passover is truly a celebration of both who Jesus Christ is to us and what he did for us. Don't miss this divine opportunity and appointment. It's only through the power of Jesus Sacrificial Blood on the Cross that you and your family are able to receive salvation, healing, protection, deliverance, restoration, supernatural victory and so much more. Now God declares in Exodus 23:15 none shall appear before me empty handed. So I want to thank you. As we enter this Passover season, maybe you don't know if you took your last breath where you would spend eternity. Death is a real thing. It's going to come to all of us. And will you be in heaven or hell? Have you received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? And to me, there's so many people living in a real hell here on earth. And you don't have to. Not because of your circumstance or situation, because your soul doesn't have peace, because your mind is tormented, because you haven't applied the power of the blood covenant and the finished work of Jesus to your life. If you don't know if you would spend eternity with God, would you pray this prayer with me? Please say, father God, forgive me for my sin. I receive Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. If you prayed that, welcome to the family of God. You'll hear me say often, it's not the last step, but it is the first step. And if you prayed that prayer, would you please go to paulawhite.org and we have a free digital download. There's nothing, no attachment to it. It's absolutely free for you. And what is salvation? What are the building blocks of faith? And I would love to be your pastor. Send me your prayer requests and your praise reports and God bless you.

Episode Theme: The Power and Relevance of Passover for Christians
This special episode, hosted by Pastor Paula White, focuses on the depth and significance of Passover from a Christian perspective. Paula unpacks the biblical narrative of Israel’s exodus, the symbolism of the Passover lamb, and the parallels to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Listeners are encouraged to recognize the connection between ancient rituals and their present-day spiritual victory, deliverance, and covenant blessings through Christ. The episode offers a blend of biblical teaching, practical insights for life, and a heartfelt spiritual call to remembrance, faith, responsibility, and hope as Easter approaches.
Paula highlights five core principles (she expounds mainly on the first):
On Timing and Divine Details:
"Details matter to God. With your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand, eat it in haste. It is the Lord's Passover." (Paula White, 02:17)
About the Blood’s Protective Power:
"The spirit world knows the power of the blood, and they never want you to discover it because you are clothed in garments of salvation...They see the blood. They cannot penetrate past the blood." (26:37)
The Distinction God Makes:
“Passover showed the Lord made a distinction between his people and those who were not his people by the application of the Lamb's blood to their doorposts.” (12:43)
On Family and Legacy:
"We are one generation away from falling away from God. If we don't keep the remembrance alive in our nation...then literally Satan will say, let me take captive America." (20:06)
Healing Declarations:
“Because of those stripes that were on his back...cancer has to leave your body right now. Epilepsy has to leave you right now. Barrenness has to leave you right now. In the name of Jesus.” (22:47)
Invitation to Salvation:
“If you prayed that [prayer], welcome to the family of God. You'll hear me say often, it's not the last step, but it is the first step.” (26:21)
Paula White’s teaching on Passover ties ancient tradition to contemporary Christian faith, urging believers to recognize, remember, and apply the covenant power of Jesus’ blood for freedom, deliverance, and victory. The episode is both a call to spiritual action and a practical reminder of faith’s core values—memory, hope, faith, family, and responsibility—as the resurrection season approaches.
