God's word is your answer. We're in a supernatural, divine miracle working season on September 22. We started with Rosh Hashanah, the head of the year. That led into ten days of awe. That's where we're introspective. God, is there any unforgiveness, any bitterness, any hurt, offense, Greed? What is a generational curse? Is there anything in me that needs to be examined? Pride? Let me die so Christ can live. That's where we really look. And God says, Take 10 days because you are entering the most holy day. And then October 1st through the 2nd, that was the day of atonement, God's most holy day. We're in the fall feast season. And remember, a feast is a divine appointment that God has set with us on his calendar. And though we're not bound by the law, we don't practice like the Jewish people. We're not under the Old Testament. But we don't get released from what this is all about because ultimately, this is about the return of the Lord, and this is about the blood covenant that God made with us through his son, Jesus Christ. And then after the day of atonement, there's five days, and now there's tabernacles. I call this party time. Now, the importance is there's three feasts, seasons and seven feasts that God has that he set up. There's more than that, but these are the major feasts. So when he set these feasts up, the fall feasts are the only ones that have not yet been fulfilled. So Passover has, Pentecost has, our Shavuot has. And now we have the fall feast. Why? These are rehearsals for us. Now, what are we rehearsing for the return of the Lord. This is all about our victory through Christ Jesus and the blood covenant that he gave on behalf of you and I. So as we talk about this and we get into tabernacles, you're going to see that the children of Israel went out into these little huts, these Booths for seven days. They had to leave everything. We're going to teach them that they would tabernacle with God. Doesn't that sound familiar? Familiar? Because one day we tabernacle with God and now we experience the presence of God. In the New Testament, there was this radical transition. No longer did God dwell in temples, he dwells in us. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. That was a radical theology that Paul was teaching, because to the Jewish people, the temple, and it still is to this day, the most important thing. And that's right there in Jerusalem. And they're believing one day for their temple to be restored. We know we're the temple of God. And you go, what does all this have to do with tabernacles? Because tabernacles is all about the dwelling place of God in your life right now. And ultimately at the throne room of God with a new heaven, a new earth, where we worship the Lord. And I can't even imagine what all we do, but I know it's going to be great. There's no crying, there's no tears, there's no sorrow, there's no pain. So during this supernatural, divine working season, miracle working season, there are certain blessings that are released because what we're doing is resetting. What we're doing is getting all the stuff out of our life and refocusing, recommitting, recharging ourself. It's like a spiritual hiatus where we're saying, okay, God, I've gotten busy doing my thing, and I realize I need to do your thing. I've taken for granted the covenant. I've been complaining, I've been sick, I've been hurt. I've been dealing with this. And Jesus is saying, but I paid the price. I've already healed you with my stripes. I've already delivered you by my death. I've already accepted you by my rejection. So all that stuff you're dealing with during this time, you reset. And it's going to advance you, it's going to promote you. There's things that come to you because of a result of that making sense. So let's go to Leviticus, chapter 23. That's where you see the foundation. The Lord speaks to Moses, said, speak to the children of Israel. The fifteenth day of the seventh month will be the feast of tabernacles for seven days to the Lord. On the first day, there'll be a holy convocation. Do no work for seven days. You offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. On the eighth day, you shall have a holy convocation and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. It is a sacred assembly and you shall do no customary work on it. So during this divine appointment, moed that God made with man, made with you his special days when he wants to meet with us. They serve as occasions and reminders to honor God and to release these special blessings I've been alluding to, which I'm going to teach you that are assigned to each one of these appointments. And I keep using this word because the Hebrew word for appointment is moedim, and it literally means appointed season or an appointed and set time. They are God's most holy days. Rosh Hashanah, ten days of all. That's a solemn awakening and a call to repentance, atonement, the most holy day to God by prayer, fasting, supernatural cleansing. Then it's a time of tabernacles, October 6th through the 13th. And this is all about harvest. This is about outpouring. This is about the latter. Rain and the feasts of Israel, as I've said, were all built on the foundation of God's blood covenant with mankind. Physical rituals to help the children of Israel understand and align with spiritual truth. Now, we don't do it like they did. We do it different. We honor the principles and the patterns of these divine appointments. And like the early church of the New Testament believers, we must recognize that God's appointment with us is this opportunity to honor Him. Keep saying it. Honor, honor. Honor him for what God has already done. So when I ask you, when I ask you, what is the value of the blood to you? What does it mean to you? To me, it's absolutely everything because of a covenant that God made with me through His Son, that I'm a recipient. I didn't die. I didn't raise from the dead. I didn't give my life for mankind. I didn't break the power of sin. But on the basis of that blood covenant, every time I take communion, I'm healed. Every time I pray, God hears, there's no separation anymore. Every time I ask forgiveness, it's granted. Every time I repent, the slate is wiped clean. I couldn't do any of that for myself. But God did all that and more. So during this time, we recognize and reappropriate the respective meaning of the blood covenant and who he is to us. And in turn, for doing that, it causes us to recognize these amazing blessings and benefits that are ours. Second Peter, chapter one through three says, according as his divine power had given unto us, all Things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him that called us to glory and virtue. In other words, he says, everything you'll ever need in time and eternity, whether spiritual or physical or financial, material, emotional, relational, it's all been provided by that one supreme sacrifice. Hebrews chapter 10, verse 14 says, he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. Now, think about that. Perfected comes from a word, means matured, complete. He is completely completed. You, through the supreme sacrifice he made as you are being sanctified, consecrated. So I'm a work in process and progress, but I'm already complete. Both of those are truths. Stop calling yourself, oh, I'm just this worm. I'm no good. I'm a loser. You are victorious. You're an overcomer. You're more than a conqueror. You're the apple of God's eye. You are great joy to this earth and to this world. Why? Because you've been bought back from Satan, who at one time had control of your life. You've been bought back from death, poverty, sickness, disease, and you've been bought back to be presented and given to God through Jesus Christ. And what bought you? Not silver, not gold, not all the money in the world, not Fort Knox, not the American economy. What bought you the blood of Jesus? It was the only thing that could redeem you. It was the only thing that could bring you not only back to God because we were separated from God and He longed for us, but it also gave you healing, provision, protection, revelation, wisdom, peace. I can keep on going because it brought you salvation. And salvation is everything provided by the death of Jesus on the cross. It means to be rescued, to be made whole, to be made well and complete. So our obedience during this appointed time brings us into intimate encounters. That's what tabernacles is about. This is about the release of God's promises. It brings us into these intimate encounters with the living God. These divine appointments present to us an opportunity. I'm going to say it over and over, to honor Him. And when you honor him, there's great reward for those who love and celebrate this time voluntarily. You don't have to. You get to. So let me give you a few points. I'm going to try to get to five. I don't know if I'll get through them, but point number one, the fall feasts are all about preparation for his bride, the full restoration of his covenant people. Now the bride is the church. As with all feasts, tabernacles has both historical significance, but Also a prophetic fulfillment which is yet to come. Historically, the Jewish people are reminded by tabernacles of the 40 years Israel spent in the wilderness, when because of their sin and disobedience and lack of faith, they had to spend each night in makeshift shelters. They had to wander in the wilderness. And nevertheless God was with them. His presence marked by a pillar of cloud by day, a pillar of fire by night. He provided for them. Their shoes never wore out. There was not a feeble one among them. Now here's the historical point. Even though you're wandering in wilderness, you're not in purpose yet. Let's be honest, I'm not declaring that. I'm saying maybe that's you. You're not living what you know God has promised you through his word when he's spoken to you in prayer. But yet in your situation, for me, it was when I was cleaning that church or cleaning doctor's office or selling shoes at hex store, and God had said, I called you to preach the gospel all over the world. Well, you know, selling shoes at Heck's company, Heck's store up in Maryland was not preaching the gospel over the world. But yet I knew that was already done. Now this is the point that I want to make. During that time, God protected me, God provided for me, God took care of me. God was with me. So God wants you to know, and this is point number one, that though you are not in the fullness of that, because the fullness of that tabernacles for us as believers will be the second return, the second coming of Jesus Christ. God wants you to know. Yes. You're in the wilderness. Yes. And I'm using this metaphorically. Yes, you're in a place, you're wondering, but God is still your protector and provider. Now you're going to come into the promised land. Land. And I believe that you can come into that before Jesus returns. And the ultimate promised land is being in glory with God. So as protector and provider annually, it's a reminder and an opportunity for God's provision for his protection, for his presence and promise. And we're going to focus a lot on that today. Prophetically, as I've said, it points to the coming of the Lord and his presence with his people. Jesus is coming back. And there are three characteristics of dwelling in booths, an unusual number of sacrifices and joyous festivities. It's party time now. Deuteronomy 16:16 said, don't stand before me empty handed, but you must give according to your ability. Leviticus 23 gives you the same thing that they would take the cross crops. They would celebrate the festival to the Lord for seven days. The first day is a day of rest. The eighth day is a day of rest. But the first day you have to bring these trees, these palm branches, these leafy. Why is he telling him to do all this vegetation stuff? Because they were farmers and they had to give the best of their crops. This was the first day the glory of the Lord showed himself in the tent of meeting. The Hebrew word Sukkot means hut or booth or tent. Originally, it was commanded by the Lord for the Israelites to observe the seven days in remembrance of the Lord and their Hebrew ancestors living in tents in the wilderness. That's what it was about, that during that time in the natural, they should have perished, they should have died off. And it didn't happen that way. God protected for them, giving them manna, giving them protection, opening and parting the Red Sea for them. It was during this time that was the true birth of Jesus. The Feast of Tabernacles. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. John 1:14. So in the feast of Tabernacles, we have this incredibly beautiful picture of God tabernacling in the wilderness, Jesus tabernacling in the manger. You get in the picture because one day it's going to be Gloria. We're going to walk on streets of gold. They're going to be gates of diamond, sapphire, ruby. They're going to be rivers of healing. There's some kind of weird looking creatures around there too that has four heads and stuff. So can't fully get the picture, but I know it's going to be beautiful. You go, that's wild. Read the Book of Revelations, it's wonderful. But in the Feast of Tabernacles we get this picture of unity of the saints, the true church coming forth. And what God's saying to us while the Lord has not returned is, hey, this earth is a wilderness. This is not your home. And so we were reminded that on this occasion, when every Israelite had to leave their dwelling place and assemble together in this little humble booth, they all have one common purpose in mind. To keep this feast, to keep this hope, to keep the Lord in mind, and to celebrate the ingathering of the wines and the oils. In other words, God saying, yeah, you live in a wilderness. I had not seen an ear, had not heard. Like, we have no way to comprehend how great it is, what our true home was. We have a little bit of, we have eternity in our heart. So we have a little bit of insight, but no way do we have the full revelation. And what God is saying to you right now during Tabernacles is, yes, you're in a lawsuit, but I'm with you. Yes, you got a doctor's report, but I am with you. Yes, your kids are strung out on drugs, but I'm with you. Yes, your husband is not serving the Lord, but I am with you. Yes, you're facing bankruptcy, but I am with you. And what does that. I am with you. Don't fear, because I'm going to take care of you. You are not your sustainer. I'm your sustainer. You're not your provider. I'm your provider. You're not your protector. ADT can't do it. Ring can't do it. The best security guards can't do it. Secret Service can't do it. And with all due respect to our military and to all the great security, God says, with all your intelligence, you can't see what I can see. I'm your protector. I'm your provider. And see the thing of it in life, if we get this concept and understand what tabernacles is really about, it's about a mindset. It's about God. I realize that this world is still wicked. It's a dark place, even in the most beautiful places. And it's not my final home. And the most important thing I do is the dash between the dates. So this time of tabernacles, I stopped being afraid. I stopped being selfish. I stopped being my own God. I stopped making other people higher than you. This is a time that I recognize. You are protector, you are provider, and your presence is always with me. If I don't get you anything else, that's the most important thing. Tabernacle. God's with you. Now. Why did they take these little huts? Is it perfect? Nah. No, not at all. Is church perfect? No. Are people perfect? No, but they're perfected in the process of sanctification. Wow. You see what God wanted the Israelites to understand and you to understand during tabernacles, as they left their home and would go to these tents, these booths, if any would fear the enemy would attack their homes or take their properties during the time of absence. God promised in obedience of honoring tabernacles, that they would be protected. Watch this. Exodus, chapter 34, 24. I will cast out the nations before you, and I will enlarge your borders, and neither shall any man despise your land. When they will go to appear before the Lord, thy God. Three times in a year. Do you know what God just said there? He said, hey, Israel, here's my deal with you. Hey, New Testament believer, here's my deal with you. To Israel. It was, if you will honor me during these three feast seasons. And one of them specifically is tabernacles, which we're entering into, which is you letting go of control, letting go of you being God. And you're saying, yeah, I trust God. I'm praying, I'm praying. But you're full of anxiety, you're full of fear. You're full of this stuff on the inside that's like, yeah, I trust you, God. But let's see, what do I have to budget in this week? What if you just gave it all? I've done it many times. I'm laughing because it's like you went, oh, my gosh, I just saw somebody have a panic attack right there. That's what God's saying. Trust me, trust me. I provide, I protect, and my presence is with you. So if we could see the glory of the feast of tabernacles. You not have the fear of someone taking our stuff. That's the most important part. When you honor God, you align yourself, allowing spiritual opportunities and blessings and benefits. In our life, there are so many. But what this facilitates is restoration of everything. You see it in the Book of Joel. And God has this pattern that unlocks his promises and brings forth his presence and provision. Now watch this for us as a New Testament, Tabernacles is a rehearsal. So when does our restoration come? So I like to think of it like this. The real loaf is up in heaven, in this earth. I'm going to get crumbs. You're like, oh, how can you say this? Because it's wicked, it's dark. It's controlled by men, not by God. I'm building the kingdom of God, which is a system within a system. Does that make sense? I'm advancing the kingdom of God. But most, even believers, Christians, don't understand what it is to advance the kingdom of God. So if I get the crumbs, just like the Syrophoenician woman, she said, all I need is crumbs. I still get healing. I still get perfection.
Ben Ferguson
But.
Paula White
But this is not it. So what is it? I can't even begin to explain it to you. I can't even begin. It would take me hours to go. Let me paint a picture of what your true tabernacle looks like. You are in the presence of God, like it never lives. The glory, the Splendor, the majesty, the weight. The streets are gold, the rivers from the throne room of God. And there's more than just a throne room of God. It's an entire planet. It's an entire new earth, new heaven. It's more than just these, you know, it's more than just, oh, we're sitting around the throne and just worship. You're going to do stuff. You're going to have skills, you're going to have knowledge. Your knowledge is going to increase. You're going to know people. You're not going to cry anymore. There's no sickness, there's no death, there's no pain. So when I celebrate tabernacles, I'm giving myself hope because I'm remembering I'm just passing through this world. So I'm not laying up treasures that are going to rust and corrupt. I'm making eternal wins. I'm building the kingdom of God. I'm winning people to the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm shaking nations for God's glory. And so are you by standing with Paula White. Ministry. Ministry. God is your provider. He is your protector. And his presence is always going to be with you as long as you've made him Lord and Savior. And we're in the final part of God's most holy atonement season as we've entered tabernacles. Now, what is this about great joy and unlimited blessing and celebration ordained by God beginning at sundown on October 6, going through October 13. And the Bible declares in Leviticus 23 that it has to be a lasting ordinances for generations to come, which means that this principle does not go away from Genesis to Revelation. You find in that same chapter in verse 37, these are the Lord's appointed festivals which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing offerings to the Lord in this season of celebration, honor God. Sew a tabernacles offering and maybe you can give a tabernacle celebration seed. I like to put my faith with scripture so there's not anything like I go, oh, this is magical if you do this. It's just that all things move in the kingdom of God by faith. Without faith, it's impossible to please to come in agreement with God. So Joel says that it will release the fullness of restoration. It goes into the restoration of all these promises. Revelation, healing, God's presence. It's all these different promises, eight different promises for you. Now look, you don't give to get, but you get to give. Give whatever God tells you. People try to take something and make something out of it that it's not. These are sacrifices. Only you know what is a sacrifice to you. So if you want to join me because God says I'm sending grain, new wine, olive oil, enough to fully Satisfy you. Deuteronomy 16 tells us, don't stand before the Lord empty handed. So I encourage you right now. Call the toll free number. Go to paulawhite.orgtext to give. Whatever you do, do your very best because this is a time of great joy and this is a time of great giving. And I just believe and I live it that God you cannot out give God. If you don't know that you're going to have God's presence, that's the greatest thing. His protection his provision and all these blessings during this time, there's only one thing that would keep you out of his presence. You have no relationship with him. So if you don't have a relationship, where are you going to spend eternity? How are you making it? How are you doing it on your own? Let's change that. The Bible says to repent. That doesn't mean oh, I'm so sorry. It means I changed my mind. I changed my direction. You've traversed your own path. Now you're going to go God's path. And he made a way for you. And he doesn't tell you, oh, you've got to do this and this and this to get there. The moment you pray this prayer with me, salvation comes. Pray, say, father God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Forgive me for all my sins. I receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Savior. I accept him. Devil, I reject you. Let go of my life in Jesus name. Now, as you prayed that prayer, welcome to the family of God. It's not the last step, but it is the first step. "When I celebrate tabernacles, I'm giving myself hope because I'm remembering I'm just passing through this world. So I'm not laying up treasures that are going to rust and corrupt. I'm making eternal wins."
(25:01)
On giving:
"Give whatever God tells you. People try to take something and make something out of it that it's not. These are sacrifices. Only you know what is a sacrifice to you."
