This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Welcome back, everyone. We constantly point to California as the model of what the left would do to destroy America. But I want you to imagine for a moment that if California embraced free market principles, imagine if California went to a low tax, low regulatory environment where businesses flourished, consumers flourished, rich people invested in the state. Can you imagine not just what that would do to California, but what that would do to this country. Think about California as a Texas style state. You combine California, Texas and Florida, America would be unstoppable. And I think that was my takeaway from watching the California gubernatorial debate. You had a whole slew of Democrats and basically two Republicans, two friends of mine, Steve Hilton, who is my pick for governor of California, and Chad Bianco, the sheriff of Riverside County. Those two Republicans showed whoever was watching on CNN just why California is failing. Here's Steve Hilton.
Steve Hilton
It's not Donald Trump who's given US gas prices $2 higher than the rest of the country. It's Democrat policies which Antonio and all the Democrats here support. It's not Donald Trump that's given us the highest housing costs in the country. It's Democrat policies that all these Democrats support. Donald Trump is the president in all the other states of America where the cost of living is way lower than in California. Obviously it is way past time for change in California. And endlessly going on about Donald Trump doesn't serve the needs of the struggling families and small businesses.
Grant Stinchfield
Of course all of this has been going on. Democrats have ruined California and they want to blame it on President Trump. You know how long California has been an expensive place to live, a failing place to live with, overrun by homeless people and crime, for as long as Democrats have been in power. So those Democrats got destroyed. Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco did a fabulous job. And Chad Bianco hit Katie Porter. You know, I call her Mrs. Doubtfire, the congresswoman who wants to be the governor of California. Watch this.
Jillian Barbary
Interrupting and bickering and name calling and shouting and disrespect for everyone up here who's stepping into public service that anyone wants to talk about. My temperament.
Matt Tardio
You were actually interrupting them, too.
Grant Stinchfield
I don't know why you want to
Matt Tardio
act like you weren't.
Jillian Barbary
Oh, cowboy, even I.
Grant Stinchfield
So she was interrupting the whole time. And that's exactly what Chad Bianco called out, her temperament. Let's just do a little, little walk down memory lane, folks.
Jillian Barbary
It's dying prematurely to air pollution and other problems and the state could lose.
Grant Stinchfield
Get out of my shot. I mean, I Don't know why I love that clip so much. Because it tells you all you need to know about her. If she treats her staff like that, you think she cares about you at home. Californians, I'm talking specifically to you now. You could make California so great. It's a beautiful state. Do you know more people voted for President Trump in California than any other state in the country? That's a fact. They're just wildly outnumbered out there. So you got this billionaire, Tom Steyer, he's running for governor now. He was one of Obama's big time donors. They still don't get it. Listen to his plan for California. Tax the rich, chase them all away. A wealth tax isn't even going far enough. Listen, I have said that billionaires like me should pay more taxes and the big corporations should pay more taxes.
Jillian Barbary
Excuse me.
Matt Tardio
You literally said, if this proposition is
Grant Stinchfield
on the ballot in November, I'll vote for it. But going forward, we do need to go further. This is a one time tax and it also doesn't spread the money around across the government the way everything else does. I guess when you're a billionaire, it doesn't matter how much the the government takes from you, but if you're an entrepreneur, if you're a job creator, it most certainly does. Does he really not understand that will chase businesses out of California? It already has. That will chase rich job creators out of California. It already has. This is why California is failing. Imagine if we had a Republican governor to turn this state around. The entire country would benefit from that. This is why I'm a big fan of my buddy Steve Hilton. Now I've known him a long time, I'm biased. He is a friend of mine, but he's also a Republican candidate for governor in California. And I hope you win. Steve, welcome back.
Steve Hilton
Thank you, man. I really appreciate it. I love the way you put that because I do find that there's a lot of people and you understand why when you see the craziness of California and the way that that craziness over the years has infected the rest of the country sometimes I've described it as the way these people, they're 16 years of Democrat one party rule, they've turned California into the Wuhan lab of far left extremism, cooking up this ideological virus and it's sending it all the way. Race extremism, the gender extremism, the climate ideology, all of that started here. And so I can understand why some conservatives would say, oh, who cares about California? Let them just go. But I love the way you put that, because it does matter for our country. And if we had an amazing, thriving, vibrant California like we had when you had Republican governors in the past and not that long ago, I just think it would be fantastic, not for just for everyone here in our state, but for the whole country, just as you said.
Grant Stinchfield
You know, I can't help but think, you know, Gavin Newsom loves to tout, oh, California would be the excise country, and we have the economy of the third largest in the world. Can you imagine if the economy was really kicking on all cylinders like Texas's economy is, Steve? I mean, this is your plan, isn't it?
Steve Hilton
Exactly. Well, by the way, let's just. He says this all the time and no one ever fact checks him. He went on Bill Maher, and people might have seen the clips on social media, and Bill Maher just sort of sat there while Gavin Newsom gaslights him, as he always does, about these facts and figures about California. I did a fact check on those clips. Every single thing that Gavin Newsom said and generally that he says is a total shameless, brazen lie. But the biggest one is this point he makes about, well, must be going well, because we're the fourth biggest economy in the world. Yeah. You know why? First, because that is just the size of the economy. The gdp, as it were, of California. It's inflated by a small number of giant tech companies that produce huge amounts of revenue but barely any jobs. But the second one, much worse. I support all our industries in California. That's great. I want them all to grow and thrive and flourish. But the real reason that the economy is so big is because he's grown the government. It's the size of the government that's inflated the size of California's economy. Most of the growth has come from that. They've nearly doubled the budget in the last 10 years. And that is not a healthy economy. Exactly as you say. The plan that I've got is very simple, actually. It's going right back to the simple things conservatives believe. The other day, I spoke to Hillsdale College supporters, and the title of my talk that they'd given me was California Diagnosis and Prescription. They gave me an hour. I said, you know what? I can do it much quicker than that. California diagnosis. Too much government, prescription, less government. That's basically it. Cut taxes, cut spending, cut the bloat, waste, fraud, and corruption. And then the entrepreneurs can flourish and thrive, create the jobs, wealth, and opportunity. That's how it works.
Grant Stinchfield
All right. I wasn't planning on doing This I may throw you for a loop, but I don't think so. You're a TV guy like me. Long time at. At Fox News. You talk about solutions. They're pretty easy. I know you have them. They didn't talk about solutions at all. Let's go. Rapid fire here, Steve. This is literally off the cuff. I just thought of this. Rapid fire, give me one or two sentence solution as I throw you a California problem. Okay? And I promise you, I did not prep Steve on this. So let's see how he does. Homelessness.
Steve Hilton
Number one, Enforce the law. Homeless encampments are illegal. They've always been illegal. And we just got to enforce the law, get people off the streets. Then you have to get them into drug and alcohol treatment. It can't be a choice. And we have to get them into mental health treatment, which is currently underfunded because the money's going into the cronies of Gavin Newsom in the homeless industrial complex.
Grant Stinchfield
Okay. Taxes.
Steve Hilton
So we got to cut taxes. We have the highest taxes in the country for the worst results. But that means you've got to cut spending. We at Cal Doge, we've identified that in the last five years, $425 billion in fraud, waste, and abuse. That's $80 billion a year. You cut that, you cut spending. My first point of my plan. Your first hundred grand tax free above 100 grand, flat tax of 7.5%.
Grant Stinchfield
Look, I like that. That's a real solution. It's a real idea. Crime.
Steve Hilton
So the most important thing the governor can do on crime is reverse the prison closure program started by Jerry Brown, accelerated by Gavin Newsom, has released tens of thousands of dangerous, violent criminals into the community or transferred them to county jails, which are totally overcrowded. So no one ever gets put away for anything. It's totally undermined law enforcement and punishment for crime. So build more prisons. You'll see less crime.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, I know you can't control the war in Iran or global markets, but you can control this. Gas prices in California.
Steve Hilton
Well, gas prices are $2 higher than the rest of the country now with the same global situation going on. And so here's the first step. We've got to open up California oil and gas production instead of what we're doing now, which is shipping in nearly 80% of the oil that we use. Secondly, you've got to reduce these ridiculous regulations on the refineries that make it so expensive, including things like the low carbon fuel standard where we're importing ethanol from Iowa for Some reason to mix with are gassy even though it makes no difference to the climate. And you've got to get rid of this insane, what they call cap and trade now it's called cap and invest system which is basically just a tax on energy use and production.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, all right, so look, I went through the main issues. I gave you a perfect social media deal for you to clip and put out. Literally you did you understand what, like what a dozen Democrats couldn't do yesterday, Come up with one solution other than President Trump. Let me play for you a clip of Javier Bakaria, as I call him, that's what Biden calls him, the former former Human Health and Human Services Secretary. Here's Javier Becerra. Roll it. Raising the cost of living in California the most and that's Donald Trump. The price of gas has gone up 1 to $2 because of Donald Trump and his war in Iran.
Steve Hilton
The price of goods, groceries have gone up in California because of Donald Trump's illegal tariffs. You see all they can say, that's all they can.
Grant Stinchfield
We had the highest gas prices on average over $2 rest of the than the rest of the nation for a very long time. Steve, your response. Everything is Trump's fault, my lord.
Steve Hilton
I know. Well why? Because 16 years of one party rule by those Democrats. We have the highest poverty rate in the country, highest unemployment rate in the country, highest cost of living by far. 50th out of 50 for opportunity according to US News and World Report. 50th for affordability according to WalletHub. And Chief Executive magazine rates as 50,050 for business climate. On and on. And so the record is indefensible. They literally cannot defend that. Then you look at the future. None of them have any suggestion for anything positive that will change. All they can offer is more of the same because they're not prepared to confront their failure. And so all they've got left is Trump. They've got literally nothing else they can say except Trump, Trump, Trump. Maga, maga, maga. And I think by the time we get to November, California is going to see through it and there's a majority in California for change and we're going to lead that majority to victory.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, I hope you do. Steve Hilton for governor.com is the website. Throw some money in the tip jar for the man and get out there and vote for him. Steve Hilton, I appreciate you coming on as always. I know you're super busy. You took time out for me today. Great to see you too, my friend. Good luck.
Steve Hilton
See you soon. Thank you.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, you got it. You know, just another little tidbit for you about California. I don't know if you saw these signs going up throughout Los Angeles. You can roll VO10 for me, for the guys behind the glass. You see these signs? These signs are say these parks are not going to be used for immigration enforcement. They have no right to put these up. They spend thousands of dollars on these signs Karen Basta put up there. So don't worry and come into the park. They have them at the zoo in Los Angeles. It's all ridiculous. And then you've got this plan in California, Louisiana, again, to have illegals vote in elections, local elections. They literally want to make it legal for an illegal to vote in a citywide election. Here is Soto Martinez. He's a city councilman in la.
Steve Hilton
We have folks living in this country
Grant Stinchfield
who've been here 20 years.
Matt Tardio
They've started a family, they pay their taxes.
Grant Stinchfield
Many of them are homeowners.
Matt Tardio
But they don't have a say over
Grant Stinchfield
over the policies that affect their children and their families on any given day.
Matt Tardio
I know other cities have done it
Grant Stinchfield
for local elections, but I want to see where the appetite is for this county. All of this is ridiculousness. It's lunacy, really. California could be so great. I still have hope for that, that state, but it's a long way off. If a miracle happens, and that is what it's going to take for a guy like Steve Hilton to get into the governor's seat up there. If a miracle happens, it could turn around very quickly. All right, now, to Iran. This is great news. Now, we've heard it before that we are close to a deal with Iran. So I'm not super hopeful, but I am more hopeful than I've ever been. This is President Trump just today. Look, and this is very simple. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, because as tough as they are, we want to keep them alive. We want to keep all of you alive. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. And they won't. And they've agreed to that? Among other things. Yeah. All right, so they've agreed to that. That is huge news. He kind of glossed over it. You know, you got Witkoff over there, Jared Kushner, all trying to make this deal happen. We shall see. Now, remember the Straits of Hormuz. That's a big part of this. 80% of Iran's economy moves through the straits. They're trying to move some of it on the land and rail. 20% typically goes that way. Say you double it that still leaves 60% of your economy out of luck. There is no way they can survive this. Here's Trump again. The blockade is unbelievable. The Navy's been incredible. The job they did is like a, it's like a wall of steel. Nobody goes through in particular. The Iranians, they're not getting anything through one way or the other. So they're out of business. And we'll see whether or not they are agreeing. And if they don't agree, they'll end up agreeing shortly thereafter. So that's the way it is. So, look, if they don't take a deal, he said he's going to blow them to smithereens. I don't know. They still use the word smithereens, but they will be blown to smithereens. Bits and pieces. For those of you that don't remember that word, he here's my biggest problem with Democrats. While all of this is happening, we're getting some good news. The stock market's rallying. The price of oil plummeted. Today you have members of Congress like Seth Moulton, they are so upset that we're getting good news. They want America to lose. Listen to him.
Matt Tardio
And we were just trying to negotiate a nuclear deal with them. Now Trump's trying to reopen the strait as well.
Grant Stinchfield
And I don't think that either is
Matt Tardio
going to come on great terms for the United States.
Grant Stinchfield
This is a loss for us. And that's how dangerous this war has been. This is as in we have lost this war. We're certainly losing it right now on almost every measure. Hey, ding dong, what are you using to measure it? I mean, seriously losing. On what front are we losing? We have no damage done to any of our military for the most part. We've not lost really any major battle with Iran and their economy is being crushed. We have now partnerships between Arab nations and Israel and the United States in this region never before seen before. Where are we losing? I despise people like this. I really, really do. You know who's losing, though, is the people of Iran, because inflation's through the roof. The currency is worth nothing. Nothing. There's a market aspect to this that things are very hard to get because of all of this. And when their currency gets down to basically zero, you, the loaf of bread go to basically $70. All right? If you made the equivalent to US dollars, $500 for one chicken that lays, what, six eggs a week? $500 for a chicken. This is why Iran is going to make a deal. It's why they have to make a deal. I want to bring in now Green Beret and host of Speak the Truth podcast. Matt Tardio is with me. Matt, welcome back to the show.
Matt Tardio
Thanks for having me back in.
Grant Stinchfield
Grant, your response to Seth Bolton. We're losing on every front here, Matt.
Matt Tardio
Yeah, what front's he looking at? Like, let's be honest here, what front's he looking at? Right, the straight over moves. The only reason that sucker is closed is because you've got Iran shooting at civilian merchant vessels that are trying to transit through the straight Hormuz. You know, being able to shoot, you know, anti ship ballistic missile at a container ship is one thing. Being able to go up against the United States military is a completely different one. When you have insurance companies that are shutting down the street or Hormuz, that's all that is. There's a reason they're not hitting the United States military is because they can't just, just quite plainly they can't do it. And as you said, the economy is being choked off. They do have some short range ballistic missile capability left, but other than that they're, they're, they're pretty much closed off. And you even touched on, you know, the railway. It was one of the things that Iran was putting out last week was that, well, all of this oil, we can't get it out. You know, we took now three, yes, three, container ship or not, I'm sorry, container ships, but oil tankers. Three oil tankers. Two of the oil tankers that we took yesterday have the same equivalent, just actually a little bit more that Iran produces an oil in a single day. So we took an entire day's worth of oil from Iran yesterday and then we just took another container ship today or another oil tanker today. Iran doesn't have the ability to ship it out via rail. If they tried to increase shipping things out via rail, which is what they were bragging and talking about, they can only get about 10% of that out, right? That's about 10% additional. You know, on top of what they already do. Can they get out via rail? And it's still going to travel through countries like Afghanistan. So good luck in it past the jihadis there. They're going to, they're going to rob and steal from it. Just asking a states we have to deal with that stuff as well. Well, so they're, they're not doing well at all.
Grant Stinchfield
You were, you were the one who, who tipped me off to this idea that a loaf of bread is $70 in Iran. You get $500 to to buy a chicken which lays, what, five to six eggs. Chicken won't even get one family through for a day, much less a week, going for $500. Now, this has to mean they're going to have a hard time paying their military as well. What effect does that play on their regular army, the people there? Nobody's in touch with, with. With this kind of stuff like you are, Matt. You have so many tentacles out all over the place. What are you hearing on this front?
Matt Tardio
Yeah, well, let's take the Iranian Prime Minister or the Iranian speaker of the Parliament, Golubov. He came out a couple hours ago and he actually was urging the people of Iran to be more frugal, to be able to suck it up for the rest, you know, suck it up for the greater good of Iran, be more frugal and just, just eat it. Just. Just hate your life how it's going to be until they can come out and they can make a deal. What I've heard is that we've got, you know, members of the IRGC or certain factions that have split off from within the irgc. And we have seen signs of that on the ground over inside of Tehran and several other countries where it would appear that you have an armed insurgency that's over there that is actually going against and launching attacks against different besieged forces that are on the ground. So it certainly appears that way. And I do believe also, you know, in addition to that, we have a huge split within the leadership of the irgc, massive split within the leadership of the IRGC and between the government. You know, we don't even know. I mean, we, we believe, we know that it's, you know, Commander V that's running the IRGC, but nobody's seen his face since February 28th. After we killed the initial commander, it was alleged that this man ended up getting, you know, appointed to be the leader of the irgc, just like the current Ayatollah was allegedly elected, right. And, and, and brought in. But again, nobody's seen these people's faces. And so there's a huge. When the speaker of the Parliament g off when he came out and he said that, you know, they were going to be making a deal with the United States of America, it was going to involve uranium enrichment. And then the IRGC came out and said, no, that was stupid. He didn't have a right to say that. He immediately ends up getting removed from the office of Negotiators.
Grant Stinchfield
Right.
Matt Tardio
Like the people that are negotiate with the United States, he gets removed and he gets taken Down. Now, it's a rumor that he's basically being held at gunpoint. A couple days later, he came out and he made a statement, and. And so now, you know, a verbal one.
Steve Hilton
But.
Matt Tardio
But the point being that every single time that it makes it look as if there is a deal, the IRGC continues to jump in and kind of crush it down. So I don't have a lot of hope for this one. And I think that's the biggest sign that we do have a split. Trump isn't coming out like he did when, you know, Vladimir Putin last year, for example, when he said he was going to make a deal with you, you know, Ukraine, and we're gonna have a ceasefire, and then he violates it. Trump immediately comes out with, like, you know, patterns of condemnation, yelling at Putin, telling him that he's, you know, being stupid. Here in this case, we have Trump that's, you know, stepping back and going, listen, they don't even know who's in charge right now. We got to give them time to figure that out. And that's precisely the reason why.
Grant Stinchfield
Matt, is there a way, real quick, if you can, for us to speed the process up, for that to just fall apart? It sounds like the IRGC is really the problem, to speed up the fall of the IRGC and maybe we get some action real quick, if you can. Yeah.
Matt Tardio
I mean, start killing the leadership of the irgc. That's the best way to speed it up. The more of the leadership that you kill within the irgc, the better off we're going to be at the end of the day to start causing that division. Because, like I said, the Ayatollah is supposed to be the one that's. That's. That's appointing the leadership of the irgc. And because the Ayatollah is rumored to be in a hospital bed right now, only communicating, you know, via written notes, that'd probably be the quickest way to go ahead and make that happen.
Grant Stinchfield
Yeah. Matt Tardio, always great talking to you. Great insight. We appreciate all you've done for this nation. I appreciate you coming on the Pro you, my friend.
Matt Tardio
Thank you again, Greg.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, you can find them at. At Anger Tab on the Platform X. All right, folks, you know, I talk a lot about Lost Soldier Oil and Gas. This project in Wyoming, 40,000 acres, is an investment that not a lot of people get access to, which is why when they brought it to me, I was so excited to bring it to all of you. Now you have to be an accredited investor, but they have already Hit stacked formations of high pressure natural gas in the Bison Basin in Wyoming. They always knew the gas was there. It was a uranium mine. They had to reclaim it environmentally. That process is done. Lost Soldier has now put together all 40,000 acres there. They want to drill almost 500 wells. You can be a part of this. You get a tax savings. You get stock ownership in the company. You get royalties and overriding royalties. The deal is amazing. Scan the QR code right there or go to law soldier.com tell them Grant Stitchfield sent you. You can get a briefing there. And there's a webinar coming up next week. You can sign up for that as well. A lot of my friends have gotten into this deal. A lot of Stitchfield army members gotten into this deal. I'm excited for the future here. Doesn't mean there's not risk. There always is. But the upside is huge. And when you look at what they've done with taking companies public 100 to 1 and 1000 to 1 in leadership team here on the last two companies. Lost soldier Oil and gas looks good to me. Lost Soldier dot com. That's Lost soldier dot com. Pay him a visit and tell them Grant Stitchfield sent you. All right. Indiana Rhinos get wiped out in their state's primaries. Trump had something to do with this next. Foreign. Welcome back, everyone. I'll tell you this Epstein stuff. I've warned you. Epstein's a dirtbag. There's no doubt about it. But Trump was right. They're using this to go after Trump confidence. They marched Howard Lutnick, the Commerce secretary, in voluntarily to testify behind closed doors about his alleged involvement with Epstein. That happened to be a lunch invite at Epstein island, but wait for it. He actually docked his boat with his wife and his daughter there. And after that, he told lawmakers his wife said, I don't want to go back there. We're not going to have lunch with that guy anyway. We don't have anything to do with him yet. They are trying to hang Epstein out to dry. This is James Comer. He's head of the committee that called Lutnick in. I've been on the oversight committee 10 years and there's never been a chairman bring in cabinet secretaries of their own party. And we have Lutnick coming in today. We have Pam Bondi coming in in a couple of weeks. So I think people can see that this is a bipartisan investigation. We're really sincerely trying to get the truth. I'm telling you folks, you want to know where Epstein is crooked. Besides all the dirtbag stuff that he did with Ghislaine and himself, you go to the State Department, you go to the CIA. That's where the documents are, if they haven't been destroyed. His work with the Middle East, Adnan Khashoggi, Israel, the CIA, the State Department, that's where it lies. It's not at the doj. And I've been saying this for a long time. Leave Howard Lutnick alone, for crying out loud. Now to President Trump. He still has great power. I don't care what any Democrat says. You just have to look at Indiana. We wanted to get redistricting in Indiana. Eight lawmakers voted against it. Those eight lawmakers were primary thanks to President Trump. They lost last night. President Trump and Make America Great Again. Conservatives were overwhelmingly, overwhelmingly victorious last night. This is what CNN had to say about it. If you cross Donald Trump and you're a Republican, your political career is very likely over. Look, the United States is littered with politicians who opposed him as Republicans and their careers effectively ended. I struggle to think of somebody who is high profile, challenged him and maintained their place in office. And this is something. This redistricting in Indiana has been a goal of the White House's for over a year. The media wants to tell you that Trump has no power, that he's unpopular. Well, how does his endorsement have an overwhelming victory in Indiana, the heart of America? Well, I want to bring in now to discuss this partner and president of McLaughlin and Associates. My buddy Jim McLaughlin is back. It's been a while, Jim. It's great to see you. Great to be here, Grant. All right. What is yesterday's election victories mean when it comes to maybe the midterms? What are you seeing from a polling perspective, Jim?
Jim McLaughlin
It says the same thing we've been seeing for a long time. Not only is Donald Trump the conservative movement, but he is the Republican Party. And we saw it out at cpac and you know, we talked about it on ramp back then. You know, he had a 97% job approval rating with the CPAC attendees. And I always say the folks at cpac, they're the base of the base. And now we see it in all these primaries where basically the Donald Trump endorsement in these Republican primaries is the Good Housekeeping seal of approval.
Grant Stinchfield
So typically in primaries, this goes for the left and the right, that the further to the side of the party that you're on, you have a better shot because the the most committed or showing up in primaries. Is that correct, Jim?
Jim McLaughlin
Yeah, and that's usually the case. And that's one of the problems, though, the Democrats have right now, because in their primaries, they don't have liberals winning their primaries. They've got these socialists and Marxists that are winning their primaries. But look, what Republican primary voters are looking for is Donald Trump's America first agenda. And why they're looking for those kinds of candidates that support that is because they know it works. They know it works it comes to immigration, they know it works when it comes to national security, and they know it works when it comes to our economy.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, let me ask you about everything going on with Iran. You know, I talk to Republicans. There's a lot of Republicans who don't like what's going on there. Even to me, it's not a perfect. I think it needed to be done, and I'm proud of the way President Trump is handling it. But in a perfect world, I wish we weren't. I wish we weren't there. How big of an effect does that or will that have on the midterms? And I guess it's a tough question because it's probably going to depend on where we are with this war, correct?
Jim McLaughlin
Oh, I don't think there's any question about that. But look, Grant, I don't have any inside information. Donald Trump doesn't consult me about what's going on there. But you have to take a step back. And there's two points I want to make. For the last 47 years, every single American president, Democrat or Republican, has said, we've got to do something about Iran and their terrorist activities, and we can't allow them to have a nuclear weapon. And thankfully, we finally found a president in Donald Trump that has the guts and courage to do what's right. And I think in a lot of ways, I think this war is basically this military conflict. For all intents and purposes, it seems to be over. It looks like the American military, under the leadership of Donald Trump, has taken away, for the most part, their ability to be able to wage any kind of war. So kudos to President Trump for doing that, 100%.
Grant Stinchfield
I guess my question to you is, as a pollster, does this hurt us as much as the left wants to tell us it hurts us?
Jim McLaughlin
Yep, the left and their allies in the media. Have you ever seen this before where we're in a war and you see the media and the Democrats rooting against the United States of America? I mean, it's really crazy. And it's, look, the Democrats don't have anything else. You know, I tell folks all the Time is, look at the big states that are run by Democrats, California and Illinois and New York, and look at their cities. All their policies are nothing but extremism and failure. So they're trying to say, okay, you know what, the reason why we have these problems because they Iran war, because they know that Donald Trump's policies were working. They're working on the economy. I think a lot of economists, quite honestly, the fair ones, are surprised the economy wasn't hurt more by Iran. And I think as soon as this conflict is done, I think you're going to continue to see the economy boom. You're going to continue to see growth
Grant Stinchfield
rates real quick, real and real quick. Midterms, are you as concerned as a lot of Republicans? And I've said I'm not as concerned. Now, I don't want to scare people into not voting. I'd rather scare them into voting. But where do you stand on the midterms and where we stand as a party?
Jim McLaughlin
Look, we all know that they're competitive. There have been some recent quality polls that have come out. They basically have the generic ballot of dead heat. We have close elections we basically been having over the last couple cycles. Whether it's midterms or whether it's the even year elections. We've had close elections, especially because all the gerrymandering that the Democrats have done. So we know it's gonna be competitive, but we think when voters start focusing on the real issues that people care about, the Republicans have a big advantage.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, that's what I love to hear. I agree with you. Jim McLaughlin, always great having you on the program. Thank you, my friend.
Jim McLaughlin
Thank you. Always a pleasure.
Grant Stinchfield

Celebrate Free Freedom. Presented by Patriot Mobile and Preborn. Let's celebrate America together. Welcome back, everyone. I've told you before that President Trump is the greatest defender of the Second Amendment that has ever sat inside the Oval Office. This man has now dispatched the DOJ to go sue the state of Colorado for its widespread firearms ban and magazine capacity ban. Also suing the city of Denver for its AR15 style, what they call assault weapons ban. Now, the Supreme Court has ruled it's very clear that guns in common use and there is no more common firearm in America than the AR15 are legal. And yet Denver continues to have this ban in place. This is Harmeet Dillon. She's inside the Justice Department and says there's a whole game here that's being played. So, no, I'm not seeing blue states voluntarily comply with the law.
Matt Tardio
They want to be sued.
Grant Stinchfield
They want to fundraise off of this.
Matt Tardio
It's a popular issue on the left, taking away people's guns.
Grant Stinchfield
So they fundraise off of it. Well, I'll tell you what, here's a common little thing about the entire Second Amendment industry. Whether you're for or against, you fundraise off your opponents coming at you. We do it, they do it, everyone does it. But in the end, what we need is justice and the Constitution to be upheld. I want to bring in now executive director for Rocky Mountain gun owners. Ian Escalante is with us. Ian, great to have you back on the program.
Ian Escalante
Thank you for having me, Grant. Good to be here finally with some good news.
Grant Stinchfield
Yeah, I mean, look, what a blessing this is, both the state and the city being sued. Your thoughts on where Colorado is right now and why this was needed?
Ian Escalante
Well, the fact of the matter, Grant, when I was on here about a year ago, we were talking about the greatest assault that we had ever seen in Colorado history on our Second Amendment rights when they put into place a permit to purchase system to say you can't buy the most commonly used, commonly purchased firearms in the United States in Colorado now without getting a permit. This has had to happen. And this all started back in 2013 when they passed this unconstitutional magazine ban. And I'm very Very happy about it. And the thing that's even great as the executive director for Rocky Mountain Gun owners is that ever since the Bruin decision which said that any law that does not fit within the text, history and tradition of the second Amendment is unconstitutional, ever since that decision, RMGO has been going to the courts. We've been fighting these unconstitutional laws. And our attorney, Barry Arrington was leading the charge for us with those lawsuits. Now, the lead attorney on this case is Barry Arrington. Up until a few weeks ago, he was Rocky Mountain gun owner's chief counsel. And now he's working with the doj, hand in hand with Harmony Dillon, with Todd Blanche and the Trump administration finally going after these horrible laws.
Grant Stinchfield
Yeah. Let me play a clip from you from the Denver Chief of Police. Now, typically these police chiefs, they're, they're political hacks. They work for these leftist mayors. This is a very common lie that he's going to push and I want to want you to listen to it. And then, and then I'll get you to respond. I know you know, this is one of the reasons why Denver is one
Matt Tardio
of the safest cities in America.
Grant Stinchfield
I know it's difficult to, to measure prevention, but I think that the fact that people cannot purchase, own, possess assault weapons in the city of Denver clearly has, has been a preventative measure. Now, Ian, that is a flat out lie. You go to any city in America, AR fifteens, AK47s, what they want to call assault weapons are not the gun of choice of criminals. That is not what, what crime is being committed with on the streets. You want to tell me handguns or whatever, we can talk about that. Typically illegal guns, stolen guns, but not AR15s. Do you think he knows that or is he just as dumb as the rest of them on the left?
Ian Escalante
Oh, I mean, what he's saying there is absolutely laughable. Grant. I mean, Denver, Colorado, I live about 15 miles north of Denver, of downtown. Denver is one of the most dangerous, worst cities in America. I mean, I go around and I walk around downtown Denver going to the Capitol and I see homeless people defecating on the street. There's needles everywhere, People are getting stabbed all the time. And it's in large part due to Mayor Mike Johnston and the police chief's abject failure to combat violent crime. Meanwhile, they want to go run around coming after peaceful gun owners like myself, like the rest of the gun owners across Colorado who just want to defend themselves. And for years now, we have seen Colorado be within the top five most dangerous states and Denver specifically being one of the most dangerous cities in America and it's absolutely laughable. And I think he knows full well what he's doing. He's obviously a leftist activist. So is Mayor Mike Johnston. You can see the Bloomberg red shirts standing behind him. This is all a giant play from the anti gun lobby that is funded by billions and billions of dollars. And during the Doge era of the Trump administration and the USAID exposure, we actually saw that our taxpayer dollars are going to fund these groups like Moms Demand Action and all taxpayer money is going to fund these so called gun violence Research Center. It's a bunch of baloney. Grant, it's absolutely not true. He knows it, we know it and that's why we're fighting back.
Grant Stinchfield
I'll tell you what, they need you in Colorado. Rocky Mountain gun owners, great organization. Ian Escalante, always great work coming on the program. We thank you. It's good to see you.
Ian Escalante
Thank you, Grant. Have a good night.
Grant Stinchfield
Absolutely, you too. Real quick, you want to hear, you know, Ian just mentioned Mike Johnston, the mayor. You want to hear what he said about this lawsuit? Roll Clip 1.
Jim McLaughlin
We received a letter on Friday from the Department of Justice demanding that we repeal the city's ban on assault weapons that has stood in Denver for more than 37 years.
Grant Stinchfield
And they have requested that response by today.
Jim McLaughlin
So we're here today to let them know that our answer is hell no.
Grant Stinchfield
Is hell no. Your law is not going to stand because the Supreme Court really has already ruled on this. And I believe this DOJ will take it back to the Supreme Court if they have to. All right. Is growing debt putting pressure on your household? We have a solution for you next. But first, make sure you check out RAV's new show, America Speaks, hosted by Wayne Allen Root. Call in and be heard live at 11:00pm My man, Wayne. Welcome back everyone. It is no joke to be drowning in debt and anybody out there that is going through this knows that it can literally be suffocating, debilitating. Well, someone who knows us all too well is someone who went through it herself. TV personality and done with debt customer. My friend Jillian Barbary is back. Jillian, it's good to see you.
Jillian Barbary
Always great to see you, Grant. Thanks for having me. We love getting on and talking about done with debt with you guys. Because so many Americans suffer in debt. This is of course tax season. A lot of people have filed late and or are filing late because of the struggles. And everyday Americans have found themselves in financial trouble in issues not even because of their own Spending or they're being extravagant. Some of this is due to things like divorce or disease or everything. Job loss, things that pile on you, kids going to university, these, these.
Grant Stinchfield
Julian.
Jillian Barbary
Yeah.
Grant Stinchfield
You had job loss, cancer, divorce, all at one shot and it nearly wiped you out. But done with debt helped you. Can you take. I know, but you're doing great on the cancer. That's great. Can you take me through? Can you take me through how done with debt helped you?
Jillian Barbary
100%. Yes, as you mentioned. Thank you. Great. I had the trifecta of everything happening at once. So yes, it was divorce and disease and job loss all within about a two year period. And of course two little kids to raise. So my situation was very unique in that I had a money manager. I thought things were being done for me. I'm not a type A personality where I'm constantly over, you know, the numbers and crunching. I'm just sort of put me in front of the camera and I'll do my TV shows. And this is a common misnomer. We think that people who are on TV or that are athletes or musicians or entertainers in any respective field have everything together and sometimes you don't. And then these big things hit like divorce and disease. And for me it was breast cancer. Long story short, I went a year with computer complete, absolute fear and anxiety. Worried about every phone call, every letter, just not even knowing what was happening to me. Forget the physical stuff with chemo and that, that sort of had to take a back burner to what was happening financially. One day I had a friend, we were out for lunch and she was talking to me about the done with debt program. And I had, I had no idea what this was. And I said this sounds too good to be true. Did my research and that's what I want you guys to do because they are going to. Within two days the phone call stopp and the letters stopped and the credit card company stopped harassing. What happened was they sort of run an offense for you and they will do everything that's needed to be done, things that you don't know about. They will talk to the institution's banking and they will talk to the credit card companies and they will sort of put a plan around you that you are, you basically have your own team, we like to say. And they're very unique individuals. They do this for a living. They are super smart, they know exactly what needs to be done. And so when they approach it, they put you on sort of this idea that, you know, we're in this Together. It's sort of psychological too because debt isn't just obviously about money. It's very, very emotional. And so they're very good at being master negotiators on your behalf. And so you don't have to do anything, but you do have to be part of it. So if you go on donewithdebt.com right now, you can read the reviews, you can see people's testimonial and you'll see that it's real, that these are real people with real problems and the people that done with that are there to help you and guide you through, sort of walk you through this very scary, scary land.
Grant Stinchfield
So I could tell you, so many of our real America's voice viewers have used Done with Debt with great success in many respects. Thanks to you, Jillian, because you're such a great voice for them. I'm going to tell people how to find them. And you will get the exact same service that Jillian Barbary got. So, yes, she's big time TV personality, but I promise you these folks will give you the exact same service. Amazing. Donewithdet.com that's donewithdebt.com just go to the website there, fill out the form, they will call you right back. Done with debt.com all right, the mastermind behind the Russia collusion hoax. Collusion hoax says the president can't use the government to go after political enemies. That's next. Welcome back, everyone. I'll tell you what. Barack Obama, it's not just him, the entire Democrat party, all they operate in is hypocrisy. Listen to this. We can't overcome the politicization of the criminal justice system, the awesome power of the state. You can't have a situation in which
Matt Tardio
whoever's in charge of the government starts
Grant Stinchfield
using that to go after their political enemies or reward their friends. When do you think the whole Russia collusion hoax started with Barack Obama? Where do you think the Steele dossier came from to set it up for Hillary Clinton? Where do you think going after Trump on every way, shape or form, it was all Barack Obama. This. I mean, literally, these people will look you in the eye and they want you to believe they're telling the truth. It's nothing but lies coming out of their mouth. That's going to do it for us today. Don't Forget my website, Grantstinchfield.com you can check out the website. I'm on Rumble every day at noon Eastern time. Check that out. Just type in Stitchfield and we'll see you back here tomorrow. Stitchfield's army rolls. We'll see you then.
Real America’s Voice — Episode: “RINOS DESTROYED IN INDIANA, CA DEBATE GOP VS DEM TRUMP HATE”
Host: Grant Stinchfield
Date: May 7, 2026
Main Guests: Steve Hilton, Matt Tardio, Jim McLaughlin, Ian Escalante, Jillian Barbary
This energetic episode of Real America’s Voice, hosted by Grant Stinchfield, focuses on three primary themes:
Throughout the episode, Stinchfield and his guests maintain a combative, pro-Trump, conservative tone, challenging Democratic policies while celebrating what they see as victories in key political arenas.
Steve Hilton (01:38):
"It's not Donald Trump who's given US gas prices $2 higher than the rest of the country. It's Democrat policies which Antonio and all the Democrats here support. It's not Donald Trump that's given us the highest housing costs in the country. It's Democrat policies that all these Democrats support... Endlessly going on about Donald Trump doesn’t serve the needs of the struggling families and small businesses."
Steve Hilton (05:55):
"They've turned California into the Wuhan lab of far left extremism, cooking up this ideological virus... If we had an amazing, thriving, vibrant California like we had when you had Republican governors in the past... it would be fantastic...not just for everyone here in our state, but for the whole country."
Problems & Proposed Solutions:
Grant Stinchfield (09:51):
“Look, I like that. That's a real solution. It's a real idea.”
Steve Hilton (12:02):
“All they’ve got left is Trump. They’ve got literally nothing else they can say except Trump, Trump, Trump. Maga, maga, maga.”
Donald Trump (paraphrased, 15:25):
"Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon... and they won't. And they've agreed to that."
Grant Stinchfield (19:42):
“A loaf of bread is $70 in Iran... $500 for a chicken.”
Matt Tardio (22:58):
“Start killing the leadership of the IRGC. That's the best way to speed it up.”
“If you cross Donald Trump and you're a Republican, your political career is very likely over.”
Jim McLaughlin (28:21):
“Not only is Donald Trump the conservative movement, but he is the Republican Party.”
Ian Escalante (39:00):
“Denver is one of the most dangerous, worst cities in America... Meanwhile, they want to go run around coming after peaceful gun owners like myself... It’s all a giant play from the anti-gun lobby.”
Mayor Mike Johnston:
“Our answer is hell no.” (To DOJ lawsuit demand to repeal assault weapon ban)
Grant Stinchfield (47:12):
“These people will look you in the eye and they want you to believe they're telling the truth. It's nothing but lies coming out of their mouth.”
