Welcome to Securing America with me, Frank Gaffney. The program that's a kind of owner's manual for protecting the country we love against all enemies, foreign and domestic. To the Glory of God and his kingdom. We're going to be talking about one of the most important developments, I believe, of the Trump 2.0 administration, which is the work that it is about under the rubric of making America healthy again. Not just great, but healthy again. Maha, this is something that was a project before the Trump team embraced it, of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Now the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, and a man who, as we speak, taping this beforehand, but we speak about him addressing the UN General assembly in that capacity as a leader of Maha, I think, as well as, of course, an official of the United States government. And I couldn't be more pleased to have with us a man who has worked closely with RFK Jr over the years, as well as in many other capacities, distinguished himself as one of our preeminent medical practitioners, as well as an inventor, an author, including of two important books, Lies My Government Told Me and cywar, which is all about enforcing a new world order. This would be, of course, Dr. Robert Malone, a personal friend as well as a mentor on so many of these topics and a man who is these days one of the relatively newly appointed members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice, also known as asip, its acronym, a somewhat controversial outfit at the moment. And we're going to explore why that is and where the truth lies, as we always look to Dr. Malone to provide. Welcome back, my friend. It's good to have you with us.
Dr. Robert Malone
Thanks, Frank. And once again, thanks for that overly generous introduction. Let's get into it. So Maha is absolutely going global today, officially with Bobby addressing the UN General assembly. And I have been asked together with others to address the European Parliament a little bit later in October on the Make Europe Healthy Again initiative that is now gaining steam. So I think we, you know, who doesn't want their kids to live longer, healthier lives? This is not a partisan issue. This isn't left or right. This is fundamental. As the President said, I talk about a lot of common sense, was one of his quotes in the recent press conference together with, I think this is a key quote from the President. I mean, there was a number of them that were slipped in there as little mini truth bombs, but this one, he said, this will be as important as any single thing I've done. Wow. He is all in on becoming identified. You know how he likes to have these big picture things that he wants to have as, as his legacy when he leaves and through time in history. He wants to be identified as the person who took on chronic disease in the United States. And he is all in on this.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
It's. It's so exciting to watch because it, it wasn't always that way, I don't think. I mean, maybe in his heart of hearts, but his, his public role was, was not that. And, and there's so many things I want to address with you, Dr. Malone, including sort of the institutional role you're playing right now. But another example of what I consider to be a real breakthrough with President Trump was his post on Truth Social recently to the effect that we really need to find out whether Warp Speed and the vaccine that came out of it for COVID 19 treatment was in fact as great as he had been told and as he as long asserted. Can you shed any light on that change of attitude, sir?
Dr. Robert Malone
Well, I, I'm not with the Mar A Lago set, so I don't speak to the President, but I agree that that was a key moment. And fascinatingly, it was kind of throwing down the gauntlet that Pfizer in particular should disclose to the American public the data that Pfizer has been disclosing to the President. And instead, what happened on the following day. I believe this is Labor Day, when all this went down on the following day, the first business day, Bourla responded not with data, but with a attempt to play on his sense of the President's vanity. And his initiative wasn't coming clean. His initiative was, well, the President should get the Nobel Prize for Operation Warp Speed. Now, you know, setting aside the fact that functionally the Nobel Prize in medicine was already given for Operation Warp Speed to Kiriko and Weissman, and they don't generally give it twice, but that was the play. So it was transparently an effort to manipulate the President's ego, and then was immediately reinforced in Senate hearings with Secretary Kennedy in which Republican. I mean, well, it was RINO plus Dems senators forced Senator Kennedy to parrot this party line that the President should get a Nobel Prize for Operation Warp Speed. But let's take a moment in. Think about that. Just step back.
Frank Gaffney
Just.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Just a corrective. You said Senator Kennedy. I think you meant Secretary Kennedy in this case. Right?
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
There is a Senator Kennedy at the moment.
Dr. Robert Malone
I make that slip from time to time. It's Friday.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
It's easy.
Dr. Robert Malone
It's easy to make that Secretary Kennedy was, was in the hearing with the various senators. But here's my point. Operation Warp Speed demonstrated that the President was able to cut across silos and facilitate a whole of government response to a crisis in a way that functionally had not been done before. That was key. Now, whether or not the work product that came out of that was as safe and effective as we've been propagandized largely by the Biden administration. And we now have more reveals about that consequent to the hearings and Google's statement, but in, in which it's asserted again that the Biden administration pressured tech to censor free speech and dissenting opinions about the vaccine. But cutting through all that operation warp speed as a government initiative, crossing silos, getting the government to operate, you know, across DOD and hhs, that was unprecedented. And what we're seeing now, if you step back and look at the big picture in terms of the commission and the two commission reports, these decisions and statements regarding autism, they again demonstrate that the president is increasingly comfortable and capable of breaking through the siloed institutional boundaries that exist between different branches of government and getting people to get to work. That is a huge achievement.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Yeah, well, and I want to give him credit too for, you know, being willing to revise his stance, albeit after a lot of pressure to do so for years. But he, but he, he deserves credit for, you know, adjusting course to take into account additional information and, and make more information available, don't you think?
Dr. Robert Malone

Foreign we're back and so is Dr. Robert Malone. Praise the Lord. We are so pleased to have him with us. The author of Lies My Government Told Me and Cywar, a very valuable contributor to the public policy debate through his sub stack which I commend to you all as well as now his public service as a member of the Advisory Committee on on Immunization Practices. Robert we were talking about the President rebutting the narrative about him that he was in the pocket of Big Pharma and otherwise achieving a level of comfort in taking on some of these big challenges. I want to talk with you about two aspects of this if I can, notably in connection with your role on this a sip, as it's known. We're being told that it's now populated by a bunch of people that Bob Kennedy pulled in who really don't know much about medicine and who are all anti vaxxers and are now shredding the children's immunization schedule. And on and on and on. Could you just give us a quick assessment of where the truth lies on all of that?
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah, Henny Penny was right and the sky is falling and we're all going to die.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
The the we are all going to die I think she got that right. Yeah.
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah, that's right.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Not necessarily imminently.
Dr. Robert Malone
We can all agree on that. The. The panel. The problem is that this is a Federal Advisory Committee act in panel, and so it has to comport with the FACA act and the population.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
FACA stands for asip.
Dr. Robert Malone
And the subcommittees with industry advocates and representatives of the various, basically guild trade organizations from the medical practice industry is not legal. The. The FACA act restricts that explicitly.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
That's the Federal Advisory Committee act. Faka.
Dr. Robert Malone
Pardon?
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Federal Advisory Committee act. Just to decrypt.
Dr. Robert Malone
Precisely. So a SIP is a FACA committee, and its only purpose is to advise the director of the CDC independently of the bureaucracy. And so it's not supposed to have industry advocates or advocates from these various health associated groups. So that was all broken.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Let alone people who have, you know, financial interests in the outcome of their.
Dr. Robert Malone
Decision, whether they directly have financial interests, which has been the case in many cases, but also whether the organizations they represent have financial interests. And so all of that has been removed. New committee has been appointed. The roster has, you know, the top epidemiologist in the world, Martin Koldorff, a broad selection of clinicians with deep experience in the emergency room, and pediatrics and obstetrics, a vaccine specialist, et cetera, et cetera. It's really quite.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
You have pretty impressive credentials yourself, let me just add. So this defamation, that these are no nothings or they've been hand selected because they're vaccine skeptics, is unfounded in your estimation?
Dr. Robert Malone
Well, defamation is a strong word. It's. It's another false narrative that's being weaponized for political purposes. And the purpose here is to delegitimize the new ACIP and to delegitimize Secretary Kennedy and what he's doing with the Make America Healthy Again movement.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Right. Well, look, let's be clear. They're not just trying to delegitimate him. They want to remove him from office. I think a big project of Big Pharma.
Dr. Robert Malone
Blumenthal was quite clear on that point about me in particular. But so many things have happened. Ron Johnson gave me an opportunity to respond to Senator Blumenthal's defamatory statements. As you know, Frank, senators are immune to liability from defamation. And so the quid pro quo there is that those that are in the defamed get their moment to retort whatever the defamation was. And Senator Johnson enabled me with that.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Well, thank you to Senator Johnson, because that's not a given. Sometimes you don't get that. But just Quickly, Robert, we're going to run out of time before we run out of things to talk about. Are you in some capricious way undermining the vaccine children's schedule to the detriment of public health? You say everybody's in favor of public health, but you're the. You know, the charge is that you might not be so much you and your colleagues.
Dr. Robert Malone
What's happened is that there's been a culture of almost vaccine worship develop within the CDC and within public health and in. Within primary care. And this involves the treatment of vaccines as somehow sacrosanct. Vaccines are just another drug. And like all drugs, they have risks and benefits. And the question is, is the risk matched to the benefit? Do the benefits exceed the risks? And in a culture in which it's been repeatedly reinforced that all vaccines are safe and effective, and you shouldn't question that because otherwise you will cause vaccine hesitancy. Everything has really gone sideways. There's been an obsession with advancing vaccines supported by various financial incentives. So the committee is basically looking at that with fresh eyes and saying, okay, what are the data? What are the data that support hepatitis B vaccination in the newborn? What are the data that support the absence of. Of interactions between vaccines? There are none. Nobody has looked at whether or not there's vaccine. Vaccine interactions in the pediatric schedule. They've just loaded on more and more and more of these products. And nobody has looked at or has been allowed to ask questions about the association that many assert exists between vaccines and autism. Which brings us to the next topic of the recent press conference in which the President talked about autism and the role of Tylenol and the role of folate receptor and folate transmission into the brain. And it turns out, for which he's.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Been widely criticized, we're told everybody with any kind of scientific credential thinks the President's off on a toot. What is your assessment of this position?
Dr. Robert Malone
Yet in 2015, we had the company marketing Tylenol explicitly saying it should not be taken during pregnancy. What the backstory here is, is that obstetricians and pediatricians in the United States for generations have been relying on treating fever, not treating the underlying disease really promiscuously with a compound that is known to be hepatotoxic and also well documented to be neurotoxic in the developing brain. And data have been.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
I don't know what pedotoxic means, but it doesn't sound good.
Dr. Robert Malone
Liver damage. Okay, you. I'll be blunt. I was taught in medical school that Tylenol is often used for suicide. It's in. We had to watch out for that. Okay. What happens is that it depletes glutathione in the liver and throughout the body. And because it's necessary to metabolize the Tylenol, and that triggers a whole cascade which includes neural developmental damage in the infant or the fetus.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Okay, Robert, we've got a minute left. I just want to make sure we're clear. Your view of it is that the president is correct to say don't take Tylenol if you're pregnant and that it may have some connection to autism.
Dr. Robert Malone
Me, the head of Harvard School of Public Health who just completed a major study. It is the company that markets Tylenol. The data have been out there for decades and they've been ignored.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
And does it lead you to the conclusion that there may be a tie into autism, sir?
Dr. Robert Malone
Absolutely. And it's not just autism. It's also attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Really?
Dr. Robert Malone
Wow.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
So, bottom line, the President and the Make America Healthy Again movement are being well guided and benefiting from serious medical professionals like yourself. And the claims to the contrary notwithstanding, we're grateful to you for your service and I hope you will come back to us with updates on all of this very soon. We have to leave a break right now. We will be right back with more.

Welcome Back. It's a delight to say welcome back once again to one of our favorite guests, Captain James Fennell, United States Navy, retired, the former Chief of Intelligence and Information Operations for the US Pacific Fleet. He has gone on since taking off the uniform to continue to render very important service to our country through, among other things, his essays at American Greatness and of course, his best selling book, co authored with Dr. Bradley Thayer, entitled Embracing Communist China, America's Greatest Strategic Failure. We are delighted always to have him with us, especially at a time such as this, when we are hearing of the possibilities that the United States might once again help continue the predations of the Chinese Communist Party. Let me give you a little bit of context before bringing in Captain Fennell. The Chinese Communist Party is in trouble as a result of acute and intractable problems, notably economic, demographic and political ones. President Trump is evidently being told chaos may ensue, possibly leading to the toppling of the Chinese Communist Party. There's no absolute certainty about when and how China's odious Communist regime might fall or what will come next. There are, however, acute risks associated with a Chinese government determined to destroy us, remaining in power and free to do basically whatever it can to that end via unrestricted warfare. The question is, will the United States intervene, as it has repeatedly in the past, to prop up the CCP, or will we instead act as President Reagan did 40 years ago to liberate enslaved people from Communist misrule that's killed millions of them and threatens to do even worse to us. That's the question of the day. It is the subject of a very important committee on the Present Danger China webinar we will be conducting on Friday afternoon at 1pm Eastern time. I encourage all of you to register to participate in that program@presentdangerchina.org One of the people we will feature by virtue of the videotaping we are doing at the moment is Captain Fennell. Jim is an extraordinarily important, well, observer and analyst of what the Chinese Communist Party is up to and, and he's been doing it for, as I said, in the uniform of the United States Navy and now as a civilian with the Geneva center for Security Policy.
Frank Gaffney
Thanks, Frank. Good to be with you.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Captain Fennell, welcome aboard. It's good to have you back, my friend. So the question of the day, Jim, you're following closely what we can make of the internal dynamics within the Chinese Communist Party. We'll have with us in the program tomorrow Dr. Steven Young, who's made it his life's work to really monitor and assess what the implications for the future of the CCP or are based upon the kinds of, well, difficulties that I've just described. First of all, I'd be interested in your take on the possibilities of the regime being in real trouble, what it is doing and might do more of if it finds itself in such.
Frank Gaffney
Well, Frank, I think there's been a lot of reporting how we should respond eight months in the light of some of the removals of former and current or now not current, but military, pla, military officers. And you know, that has led to a lot of speculation that the Chinese Communist Party and Xi's control of the party is, is not strong. It's also led to people to suggest that his control and leadership of the PLA is not strong. And from my perspective, I don't concur with those assessments. I think Xi's control over the party, well, you know, we won't know exactly for sure. There doesn't seem to be any indicators, substantive indicators that he is off message. So if you look at his time in office, 13 years, he's on a trajectory that you can measure and he hasn't seemed to be off of it. He doesn't seem to be being detracted from it, whether it's in the military domain or in the political domain. Like with his proposal of the Global Governance Initiative. Now and his four major initiatives that he's promoting through the United Nations. Yes, they have some economic problems, and that's an area where we need to continue to look and where I applaud President Trump and the administration for corralling the Chinese Communist Party and putting pressure on them. I would like to see a lot more, which gets to kind of the point that you were discussing in your opening, which is, is there a threat or is there a risk if we apply too much pressure, both economically or militarily, that we could either, one, strengthen Xi's grip on power, or two, that he could lose it all, and then we could face something much, much worse. And my assessment is, is that we're in an existential fight with an ideology called Communism as practiced by the Chinese Communist Party. It's different than the Communism practiced by the Soviet Union on the edges, but its core objective is to destroy the United States of America and everything that we stand for in our declaration and our Constitution and what we've stood for for 250 years. Years. So I think the risk of not taking action is greater than the. The risk of taking action. So I'm glad to see the president go before the United nations like he did this week, and tell the people of the world, hey, you want to buy windmills and you want to buy solar panels, but you're buying them from China. Is that really a good idea? And clearly he was suggesting that it wasn't a good idea. Clearly, he doesn't agree with China's views on a lot of things and the trade imbalances that they've been doing with us. And it seems clear from his statements about wanting to strengthen and rebuild our military that he's concerned about the PLA and their growth. So I would say that it gets down to a method. So I don't question the administration's intentions or their view of China. It's a question of methodology. And while I'm not the president, I would, you know, it's up to him to make these final decisions. And we're getting these releases about restrainers and deflators and other kinds of actors, both that are inside or around the edges of the administration. And I would say, you know, two things. We need to be caution, cautionary about taking everything that's said about the upcoming national defense strategy is selling out. I want to see that, because I don't hear that from people that are inside the system still. I hear the exact opposite. But I would also suggest that we should be, or we can be open to doing Much more in terms of putting pressure on the PRC and the military domain. And so I think that we should be doing that. I think we, for instance, we're sending increased levels of U.S. warships, destroyers and frigates through the Taiwan Strait. How about we send US Aircraft carrier through the Taiwan Strait? How about we check the PLA and the Chinese Coast Guard's threatening of the Republic of the Philippines, our treaty ally at Scarborough Shoal. You know, we saw three weeks ago or four weeks ago, the Chinese use a destroyer and collide with their Coast Guard cutter and cut its bow off. They could have easily done that to the Filipinos and killed Filipinos sailors, which President Marcos had said would be crossing the line for them in an act of war. And by treaty or mutual defense treaty with the Philippines, the United States would have to defend against that. So I think we could do some more there. There's some areas where we could take some lessons from Europe in terms of NATO, in terms of how we organize our alliances in Asia to better confront China. So I would just say that we need to keep our jackboot on Xi's neck. And if we can break his neck and break the Chinese Communist Party, that will be better for America. That will make America better.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Captain Fennell, let me just pick up on that point. I'm not sure that we've got the jackboot on Xi's neck at the moment. There is a powerful argument to be said that's where we should be. But the question isn't so much is that the case as it is how firmly planted is his jackboot on our neck? And this goes to this issue of the risks associated with inaction or worse, you know, perpetuating this regime. Could you talk a little bit about the extent of this unrestricted warfare, both of the pre kinetic kind and the.
Frank Gaffney
Well, Frank, we have clearly, as we've discussed in previous episodes, because of our heavy investment from Wall street into China, we have essentially paid for them to build this military that is now outclasses us in certain areas. Key areas in the western Pacific, notably in the maritime domain now and in the air domain and the strategic rocket domains. They're approaching us in space and in cyber. So we have a huge problem that we paid for with American money. And the people that are going to pay for an American blood are going to be the sailors and marines and soldiers and airmen that are stationed out there should a shooting war go hot. We've also talked about the number of Chinese nationals that come across the border. They will be involved in any kind of conflict destroying our rare area. So we need to do more. So when I say jackboot, I would like to see it a lot more active. We still have a big presence in the Pacific, but there's more that we should be doing.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Amen, Captain Pinell. We need to take a short break. When we come back, I want to pick up on particularly that Maritime Domain piece that you're talking about how the Chinese buildup is, well, jeopardizing our maritime presence and capabilities. Be right back folks. Stay tuned.

Foreign we're back and so is I'm very pleased to say, Captain James Finnell, United States Navy, retired, a very distinguished naval officer and now one of the preeminent experts on the threat we face from the Chinese Communist Party and particularly its military in the private arena. Captain, you have been warning for well many years about a decade of concern in which we find ourselves at the moment. You've also been calling attention to various aspects of the Chinese military buildup. It's been described as the greatest in world history. Of particular concern given particularly your, your previous incarnation is of course what it's doing in the maritime arena. If you could give us kind of an update and well net assessment of how we fare compared to the Chinese modernization program and build out of their naval power at the moment.
Frank Gaffney
Yeah, Frank, this topic is of really current and very important relevance given what happened on Monday 22 September when the Chinese social media and then Chinese state media released images and video of their third aircraft carrier, the Fujian, which is was conducting its ninth set of sea trials in the South China Sea. And the video released showed that The Chinese tested three different types of aircraft off the Fujian. The J35 fifth generation stealth fighter, J15T, a trainer that's an upgraded of the kind of J15s that they have on their first two carriers. Another fighter jet aircraft, and then finally a fixed wing airborne early warning aircraft, the KG600, which is like our E2 Charlie Hawkeye that we have on our aircraft, carries almost a carbon copy. So they flight tested those three and you could say well so what, it's just more flight testing. But in this case it was the flight testing using the Chinese version of electromagnetic aircraft launch and recovery system. We have produced that on board our USS Gerald R. Ford, which is now over a decade into construction, development and fielding. And we have yet ourselves, the United States Navy been able to launch our fifth generation stealth fighter, the F35 Lightning II. So the Chinese have actually surpassed us now in a carrier aviation milestone by successfully launching and recovering this J35 5th generation stealth fighter using electromagnetic aircraft launch and recovery system. They went from ski jump ramps in the first two carriers to now using this electromagnetic system. They never use steam catapults. So they are now demonstrating the capability that we don't have. And just this morning I just saw they're doing another area where they're demonstrating the capability operationally where they have detected two extra large unmanned underwater vehicles off of the shores of Taiwan. Two of these from the PLA Navy. So that's an area that we've been working in since I was in the pentagon back in 2011. And they're now fielding or at least operationally testing this kind of unmanned technology underwater, large scale underwater.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
What, what could those be used for, Captain?
Frank Gaffney
There's a whole list of those could be used for laying mines to any port in Taiwan in a blockade. They certainly could be used to shoot Taiwan and US Navy warships that are operating around the area. They're unmanned so they can stay at duration much longer and they're much quieter. So they're an advanced technology that the Chinese are fielding. And we're just, you know, we could talk about so many programs where we are being outclassed by the Chinese. And as you know from being in the Pentagon, there's always this tension between folks in the intelligence community like I was my career that are always warning about the technological advances of their adversaries and then being the operator, the person that has to operate our current inventory of tanks, ships, warplanes and, and other military technology. And no commander, no Indo Pacific commander wants to go on TV and say, hey, we're being outclassed. No president wants to say that because it gives the adversary an advantage. But that still does not belie the fact that we are in a very serious situation and we keep telling ourselves that we're okay and we're not. And this is, this should be an inflection point for America. I noticed it was not reported. It did get reported in a couple of outlets. I think CNN had a web page on it. But there really was no major attention across this land of America about what happened on Monday with China. The fact that they were able to put a stealth fighter into the air off of an aircraft carrier with an electromagnetic magnetic system. And oh by the way, today's Chinese press said, and oh, by the way, this carrier is going to be declared operational really soon. I expect It'll be on the 1st of October, which is the anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China in 1949. So we are watching China advance rapidly through this decade of concern. And they're building carriers, they're building missiles, they're building fighters and bombers and stealth fighters, stealth bombers. They're advancing in every realm of military warfare, political warfare, Cognitive warfare, economic warfare. And we are not recognizing the threat for what it is. And this is alarming to me. We've got internal threats in America, no question about it. But these threats from the external, from China are not going to sit in a vacuum and just stay on their side of the Pacific.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Yeah, no, there's no doubt about that, Jim. Just a quick question before we have to take another break, Jim. As I understand it, the Ford is actually at sea now, is it not, Is it not commissioned yet?
Frank Gaffney
Yes, the for USS Gerald R. Ford is at sea and it is launching aircraft, but only FA18s and other aircraft, but not our stealth fighter, the F35. That's the.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
And it's using its electromagnetic propulsion catapult propulsion system for that purpose. The F18s.
Frank Gaffney
Yes, but obviously we're having problems with it. We've had extensive problems with getting the Ford to see and getting that system and the whole carrier operational decades behind timeline and cost overruns.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Yeah, it's been a huge problem. I know, Jim. We have to take a short break. As I said. When we come back, I just to want, want to tease that out a little bit further because as you mentioned, Chinese seem to have done a lot of carbon copying of our platforms, including the E2C, I think you said. How is it they're getting it more right than we are when we're doing their research and development for them? That and more with Captain Fennell on the other side of this short break. Stay tuned.

Foreign we're back. So is Captain James Fennell, United States Navy retired, the co author of Embracing Communist China, America's Greatest Strategic Failure. Captain Fennell, I just wanted to pick up on a point you made in the previous block about I think it was the Navy's airborne early warning platform known as the E2C hawkeye and that the Chinese have aboard their carriers what you called, I think, a near carbon copy. That's actually not an exaggeration, is it? The way in which an awful lot of equipment in the Chinese military has come to be is, it appears, ripping off our intellectual property and more or less replicating it. I'd ask you about that, especially in the context of them seemingly have made improvements on some of that technology, notably this electromagnetic catapult on the aircraft carrier that they've been preparing for commissioning and that we've put out to see with its imperfections. Apparently the Ford.
Frank Gaffney
Yeah, Frank, it is not an exaggeration to say that the KG 600 and the E2 Charlie Hawkeye are carbon copies. We have dozens of examples of platforms that the Chinese have made that are clearly from our technology. And like I said in the previous block, they skipped 100, essentially a hundred years of U. S. Navy research and development at Sea that was paid for in blood, sweat, and tears, with steam catapults. You know, when I served, I. Many, many friends and people died testing and basically learning about how to operate at sea on aircraft carriers. And they've learned from that. They've taken that. And what they're doing now is they're using their advanced, you know, numbers of people and their research and development to actually go beyond that, as we've seen with this J35. And it's something that we need to recognize. We know the number of students that we have from China in the United States is a direct. There's a correlation there. There's a correlation over the last two decades of how many Chinese students were in our STEM programs that were able to learn and get this technology parts of it, not all of it. And they weren't all spies, but you build it and you put it together. They go back home and they report on different aspects, different key components, and all of a sudden, you have what we see out operating in the South China Sea right now. And so I think this is something that we need to pay attention to a lot, lot more.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Well, Jim, that whole issue of Chinese students in our universities, by some estimates, something like 270,000 of them is a problem just in its own right in terms of their subservience to Chinese law that requires them to do whatever they're told to do on behalf of the motherland by the Chinese Communist Party, which can be espionage, which could be sabotage, it could be subversion, it could be, who knows, assassinations. But what you're also talking about in stem, of course, is the acronym that stands for science, technology, engineering, mathematics. They're not coming here to study, you know, American literature. They're here to get hard sciences, which have direct relevance, of course, to various military applications. And this is something that it does seem to me we ought to be bringing to a screeching halt at the earliest possible moment. Let me turn to another aspect of what Xi Jinping is up to, Jim. That not so much the kinetic kind of warfare, but it is definitely political warfare. He's announced it, as you mentioned earlier, as his global governance initiative. And it's much in evidence that the UN, this week and next, I guess, in connection with the annual UN General assembly meetings, talk a little bit about this agenda of Xi's and what it means for not only reordering the world to the, you know, benefit of the Chinese Communist Party, but what it would mean for us if they succeed in doing it.
Frank Gaffney
Yes, Frank, the global governance Initiative was rolled out by Xi a few weeks ago in preparation clearly for this United Nations General assembly meeting that's going on this week in New York. This is the fourth of four initiatives that he has put out, Global initiatives. One was a Global Development Initiative, which was early on in his tenure. Then there was the Global Security Initiative, focused on military affairs. Then there was the Global Civilization initiative, which is a catch all, I think, for having everybody come and bend towards this idea that there's this 5,000 years of Chinese history and they're the ones that understand history and civilization and we should all be like them. And then finally you have this global governance. And this is being touted. It was in the pages of the Chinese media today again explaining that, you know, after 80 years since the end of World War II and the post World War II order that was created, that things have changed and the world's dangerous and there's threats everywhere and there's people that are unilateralists and they're getting away from the concepts of multilateralism. And so therefore it's time for a new, a new vision, which is the Global Governance initiative put forward by the Chinese Communist Party. They don't say that last part, they just say the new initiative put forward by the prc and they're selling that inside the United Nations. And as we saw on display with President Trump being besmirched and disrespected at the UN There's a lot of people in the UN that buy into what the Chinese are selling, especially as the Chinese talk about this underrepresentation by the Global south, which is ironic when you look at where the outflows of the United nations funding go. It almost all goes to the Global South. Yet China promotes in their propaganda that, oh, we're doing this on behalf of the Global South. So it's a political maneuver to realign the international order behind China. And they're doing it with the belt and road. They're doing it with trying to go after de dollarization and replacing it with their currency and things of that nature. So it's a full scale frontal attack from the Chinese Communist Party to, to say we want to run the world and we're, we're going to do it and we've got a way to do it. We're going to do it inside the UN and we're going to sell it with, you know, roses and petals and make everybody feel like it's a Kumbaya moment. But what, what they're really selling is, is subjugation to the Chinese. The Chinese Communist Party.
Frank Gaffney (Host)
Yeah, Global governance, as I'm fond of calling it, with Chinese characteristics meaning essentially the world run, as you've indicated, Jim, by the ccp and to the detriment of, well, our sovereignty, obviously, but I would argue ultimately our constitutional republic as well. It's incompatible with the idea that unrepresented representative, unaccountable bureaucrats, elites are going to make our laws or otherwise tell us what to do. But that's the plan under Chinese Communist Party misrule. Jim Pinell, thank you so much for your time today. Come back to us again soon if you would, with more. I hope the rest of you do the same next time. Until then, go forth and multiply.
