Makes the perfect snack?
Grant Stinchfield
Hmm, it's gotta be when I'm really craving it and it's convenient. Could you be more specific? When it's cravinient. Okay, like a freshly baked cookie made with real butter, available right down the street at AM pm. Or a savory breakfast sandwich I can grab in just a second at AM pm. I'm seeing a pattern here. Well yeah, we're talking about what I.
Jennifer Horn
Crave, which is anything from AM pm.
Grant Stinchfield
What more could you want? Stop by AM PM where the snacks and drinks are perfectly craveable and convenient. That's cravenience ampm too much good stuff. Well, good evening everyone. Welcome to Stinchfield. We have an unbelievable story to tell you about an ice agent in Minneapolis that was apparently kidnapped. Now, do I blame the illegal that was driving the car that kidnapped this ice agent? No, you're actually going to hear why I blame Democrats of the mainstream media for this absolute Debacle. So here's how it goes down. My buddy Ben Berkman was the first to know about this. I knew this story two days ago. We were told, do not tell anybody about it. Now the story is out. Agents approach a vehicle. They ask them who they are. The agents say, we're. We're ICE agents. They apparently don't believe them. One of the men who they were questioning jumps in the back seat. An ICE agent jumps in the front seat. The woman driving the car, who's now the suspect, takes off with the agents inside. One agent trying to get the guy out of the backseat has to jump out of the car, if you can believe it. The women. The woman will not stop the car with an ICE agent in the front seat. Now in the backseat, the illegal aliens calling 91 1. By the way, he doesn't believe they're ICE agents. Apparently, the ICE agent, fearing for his life, ends up pulling out his firearm and says, stop this car. The woman driving would not stop until she got to the local police department, where she pulled over. The agent said to her, you are making a very bad decision here. You are going to make things worse. Now, here's the thing. You've got to comply with law enforcement. They were well marked. But the media, Democrats, even the chief of police in Minneapolis is to blame for this. Because of this kind of nonsense he's telling his community, folks that are masked, that they're not sure if they're law enforcement, that they may be kidnapping people. Like we have had those reports. I want to be clear to the community. The community should know that if you see something like that, that is legitimate, that you don't know if someone is law enforcement, you should call 91 1. Well, amazingly enough, that's what the guy in the backseat who's running from ICE calls 91 1. I actually believe they probably thought they were being kidnapped because of this nonsense from a chief of police in a blue city like Minneapolis. That guy's a disgrace, by the way. So is the mayor. All right? The mayor pushes this nonsense on people, too, and it's going to get somebody killed. If not an ICE agent, one of the suspects. Here's the mayor of Minneapolis. Targeting Somali people means that due process will be violated, mistakes will be made. And let's be clear, it means that American citizens will be detained for no other reason than the fact that they look like they are Somali. None of that's happening, by the way. None of it. They can't. Name me one instance where an American citizen was taken into Custody and ultimately deported. It's ridiculous. And I don't even see situations of anybody being kidnapped by people dressed in Halloween costumes looking like ICE agents. But again, this could have been a deadly situation. Quite frankly, the. The agent that was in the process of being abducted had every right to use his firearm. God bless him for having the wherewithal not to do it. Probably assessing the situation and figuring out that, you know, he was not under threat at that moment. But man, this could have been deadly. Well, to bring in now to discuss all of this, I want to welcome the assistant director for the office of the Drug Czar. He is retired supervisor, supervisory special agent with ice. Our butter. Our buddy Victor Avila is with us. Victor, welcome to the program.
Victor Avila
Great to see you, Grant. Great to be with you.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, it's good to see you. What do you make of this story? I blame it actually on the media and Democrats. I know that they have some role in this, the people driving. But you know, ultimately this is messaging on behalf of the Democrats. Your thoughts, Victor?
Victor Avila
Grant, you're not wrong. This is what we're. This is what it's come to. This is what the rhetoric has come to. To actually people not believing ICE agents are real law enforcement officers. Let me tell you, an ICE officer or an ICE special agent or HSI special agent is a law enforcement officer with arrest authority, just like a police officer. And this nonsense about that I need a warrant that all these different types of causes that do not are not required by an ICE agent. An ICE agent cannot question a U.S. citizen. A nice agent cannot ask me where my citizenship is. All this nonsense and it's the incorrect information that has been spread. Yes. By the Democrats are now we see the effects and these causes. Right. Of what's happening. And let me tell you, kudos to the ICE officer that held back. I was in a situation like this in Mexico, as you know, and it led to where my partner was killed and me taking three bullets. So I understand being in these high stress situations, but this is stateside. This is here. That happened to me in Mexico against a cartel. This is here in our cities. Grant, when is it? When are the Democrats. I'm waiting for them to come up and start defending law enforcement and not be on the side of the bad guy and the illegal alien.
Grant Stinchfield
Victor, you know, I actually believe that these Democrat lawmakers, that these agitators, they want nothing more than one of these illegal aliens to be shot and killed. That's what they want to happen. So then they come spouting all other kinds of rhetoric against the ICE officers. I think they're doing it for their own gain. I don't think they care at all about the people that are here illegally.
Victor Avila
They don't care about ICE agents. They don't care about our National Guard. I heard the, the Democrat, you know, talk, you know, mentioned about the, the incident or the, whatever he called the murder and attack and basically an ambush of our national guardsmen in D.C. this is, this is what we're having to deal with. But some things have to something, Grant. Something's gotta give at this moment because ICE is trying to do as much as they can to protect themselves. We talked about the mask, we talked about everything else. To protect their identities. It doesn't matter. These people have. Have hate and evil in them to where they want to ultimately possibly have either an ICE agent hurt one of them like you said to, so they could justify it, or they're actually going to end up hurting an ICE agent and to a point where they're not going to be able to defend themselves.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, speaking of Democrat leaders that make things awful, you've got radical judges that make things awful. I'm sure you've heard by now Greg Bevino, a border patrol chief, they pull him in. Guys, if you could run VO18 for me. This is Greg Bevino actually having to toss canister, a canister of two canisters of, of gas in Chicago at these protesters. Now a radical judge brings this person in after this happens, roll cut 19 for me, guys.
Jennifer Horn
Where is my people.
Dr. Joseph Clark
Going?
Grant Stinchfield
Bavino in Victor Avila. And this is a transcript from the judge. And it reads here, number 21, did you throw a canister of CS gas in this particular location on this particular day? You would tell me yes to that question. He was asked. I would not be said, okay, why not? He was asked, and this is where I love Greg. He says, you said a canister. I threw two. Our buddy Ben Berkwam talked to Greg Bevino about this. Roll that clip. Cut 20. If I had it to do over again, the only thing I would have.
Victor Avila
Done different is I would have had.
Grant Stinchfield
About 50 gas canisters with me and.
Victor Avila
I would have thrown even more because the situation was that dire that we do that.
Grant Stinchfield
I just happened to run out of gas myself.
Dr. Joseph Clark
I didn't.
Victor Avila
I only had two on me.
Grant Stinchfield
And if I'd had more, would have used more.
Victor Avila
And you know, it's about upholding the Constitution, conducting lawful operations.
Grant Stinchfield
That was a lawful operation. Therefore, if it happened again because it's lawful, so be it. I'll tell you what, Victor, and I'll give you the last word here. When you believe in what you're doing, when it's constitutionally and legally viable in what you're doing and it's keeping America safe, you can be proud about your actions like that. This is a total game changer from the last administration. I'll give you the last word.
Victor Avila
Well, I love his answer and he's absolutely right. They're doing absolutely nothing wrong. That's why they're confident enough to be on these streets taking down and deporting these bad guys. It reminds me of the one up rule. The one up rule in law enforcement, for those of you who don't know, is that the police do not fair, do not fight fairly. We one up you, you bring out a knife, we bring out a firearm. We always going to try to one up. You bring out one gun, we're going to bring out 20 or gas or whatever it takes to control the situation. And let's remember why this is happening, because they continue to obstruct investigations, obstruct federal officers and agents doing their job.
Grant Stinchfield
Yeah. Well, please give a message to all the agents you're talking with and dealing with there in your work at the drug czar and border czar's office, Victor, that we give them a big thumbs up and we're grateful for you and of course, them as well. Victor Avila, thank you for coming on today.
Victor Avila
Thank you. I sure will.
Grant Stinchfield
Absolutely. Thank you. All right, folks, I told you I would give you a little update. So I was blessed today to be invited to the White House. And man, oh man, did I have a series of meetings. I was asked to keep the entire meeting off the record, but I don't think I'm out of line if I told you that I met with a number of different cabinet secretaries. I spent quite a bit of time with the vice president, J.D. vance himself. And what I took away from this meeting is that there is an absolute battle, battle plan being formed right now to win the midterm elections. It's going to take your help, it's going to take our help, of course, to get the message out that is front and center on their minds. The goal of mass deportations completely continues right now. And that is very, very important. This has never been done before, an operation the size of this, this is a tribute, folks, my invitation to the White House. It's really a tribute to you and real America's voice. They would not be inviting me in if your voice, your vote was not so powerful. And they would not be inviting us in if real America's voice was not as powerful as it is right now on the scene in the MAGA movement, in the grassroots movement, in the America first movement. So kudos to all of you for that. Now, here's what I told them, because they asked a lot of me. That's not off the record what I told them, and I do believe, believe that they were sincere about taking that message and either getting the answers or following up on my advice. We want accountability. It was the number one and first question I asked. When are we getting accountability? I want the Deep State ousted. And, boy, one thing became clear. The Deep State is very real. They're dug in. Some of the things that Secretary Noem is doing to oust the Deep State, absolutely pedal to the metal. Gas down. Deportations must continue. That will happen.
Victor Avila
Now.
Grant Stinchfield
Speaking of deportations, we're now averaging 2, 000 deportations a day. Consider during the height of deportations, you got to go back all the way to the 40s and 50s. The most deportations we've ever had in America are 50, 000 a year. We're doing about 2, 000 a day right now. The goal is to get to a net negative of immigration to the United States. A net negative, meaning more people leave than come in. This is former ICE director. Do you have 22, please? But I have to tell you, this is a. It is a remarkable accomplishment.
Dan Veroni
These numbers are stunning to me when.
Grant Stinchfield
I look at, let's say, 600,000 deportations this year. Those are all from the interior. And I think this is a critical distinction. When you're doing the immigration, you divide the world into the border and the interior. And during the Obama administration, When there were 400,000 deportations, the reality is about 250,000 of those were people caught right at the border. Okay, so he's spot on. Now we hear the phrase that the deporter in chief was Barack Obama. Let me explain something to you. All of Barack Obama's deportations, the large majority of them were border deportations, meaning someone would come across the border, they'd be captured, they were instantly deported. That's not happening in the Trump administration because the border is shut down. We now have about 100 crossings. People are captured a day compared to where it was 10, 20,000 a day. So now you have interior deportations, 1.9 million self deportations, about 600,000 deportations. Where the Trump administration has gone down and tracked these people down, that is amazing. In and of itself. Here's Stephen Miller. Well, if you subtract immigration out of test scores, all of a sudden our test scores skyrocket. If you subtract immigration out of health care, all of a sudden we don't have nearly the size of the health care challenges our country faces. If you subtract immigration out of public safety, all of a sudden we don't have violent crime in so many of our cities. Issue after issue, we talk about these things. They just happen to us. The schools just suddenly fail. Violent crime just suddenly explodes. The deficit just suddenly skyrockets. These are a result of social policy choices that we made through immigration. Look, I talked to Stephen Miller today about this very thing, and he used the example of a box. The box didn't change when it comes to education or health care. What changed? What we're putting in the box. When you have 100 different languages being spoken in a major city like Nashville or Dallas or Los Angeles, how do you think reading scores are going to go up? They're not. It's what we're putting in the box. Here's what President Trump wants, and I know this for a fact. President Trump wants smarter immigrants. We don't want to be importing poverty and criminals to the United States of America for too long. We talked about numbers say, okay, we'll let it 100,000 a year. We'll let in a million a year. It's not about the numbers. It's about the quality. So as we turn to Somalia, I'll ask you a very tough question. Would you rather have 100 Somali immigrants coming to America, or would you rather have 100 immigrants from Poland coming here? I think the answer is clear to anyone that's intellectually honest. We'll take the Polish immigrants all day long. Why? Because the Somalis are not assimilating to America. They're coming from a country that is ripe with corruption. Their way of life is about the fraud. Not everybody, but a large majority of them. Just because you put them on a plane, an aluminum tube, doesn't mean they miraculously turn into a Boy Scout as they're flying to the United States. It just doesn't happen. So you ask your friends, especially your friends in. In Minnesota, as you look at a billion dollars in fraud from the Somalis, what contribution, name me one, has the Somali community made to the people of Minneapolis or the entire state of Minnesota? Tell me their great contributions. It's a tough question, but it's actually pretty easy. There aren't very many of them. Listen to the governor of Minnesota. Cut one, Tim Walz. And this is 80 people or so that have been convicted in this. Maybe some more in that out of a broader ring. Medicaid fraud will stretch across all racial demographics, all ethnic groups. So I think it's really important for us to note each community's got this in their own midst. But to blame them and say that they should have been responsible for stopping it, I think that's a pretty hard reach. All right, you want to see some pictures of the fraud? And he says each community has, has fraudsters in it, of course, but it's about proportionality. When you've got 78 of the 80 something arrested that are all Somalis, you got a problem there. There were private villas put up VO11. There you go. Private villas in the Maldives. Apparently these billions of dollars were used to purchase for Somalis. You've got lakefront property in Minnesota.
How about that?
You want to buy a lake house? Just bilk the autism program. You had wire transfers to East Africa and China, first class tickets all over the world, by the way. There was a 2021 Porsche that was bought with the fraudulent money and then stacks of cash. There was a text message apparently that, that investigators uncovered. You're going to be the richest 25 year old Insha', Allah, God willing, they wrote. You want to hear Walls's response to that? Cut to. Do you want to see more ownership and oversight from within? Look, it's not law abiding citizens. If that were the case, there's a lot of white men should be holding a lot of white men accountable for the, for the crimes that they have committed. So again, they're so off base. People are looking at this saying you guys are nuts. Speaking of nuts, we'll turn to California and the Democrats. Great white hope. Gavin Newsom. You know, you would think that you might want to campaign on. I want to see all the children out there, healthy, happy, smart, all that. No, that's not what he wants for kids. Instead he wants to see these types of kids that we didn't get into transports. That's an issue no one wants to hear about because 80 of the people listening disagree with my position on this. But I, but it comes from my heart, not just my head. It wasn't a political evolution. It was position. Being that I, I don't think it's. I, I want to see trans kids. I have a trans godson. I'm not.
Dan Veroni
There's no governor to sign more pro.
Grant Stinchfield
Trans legislation than I have. And no one has been a stronger Advocate for the LT Too many. I want to see trans kids. Are you freaking nuts? Well, Nicki Minaj, actually the rapper, she's an icon in this country. By the way, she went after Gavin Newsome. Take a look at this tweet. If you can tweet 31, guys, if you throw that up there on the, on the screen. This from Nicki Minaj and it reads, and I quote, oh, gabby poo, it only gets worse from here for you, buddy. It's the end of the road for you, my love. Get on the nearest jet ski. Let that beautiful hair blow in the wind. It'll make you happier than this, than this race that you will not win. Enjoy life. Peace. That from Nicki Minaj. Well, I want to bring in now host of the Morning answer out on AM870 in Los Angeles, California. My great friend Jennifer Horn is here. Jennifer, welcome to the program.
Jennifer Horn
Thanks so much. And I loved hearing about your time at the White House today. How exciting.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, it was an exciting time and, and it was an awesome trip there. But I want to hear about your time in California under the rule of Gavin Newsom, but specifically Nicki Minaj coming out and giving him a little beat down.
Jennifer Horn
Yeah, and not the only celebrity this week, by the way. Halle Berry started things off because she said that Gavin Newsom wasn't pro woman enough because he chose to ignore some of her menopausal legislation. I don't really know what that's all about, but apparently he ignored it. And now you've got Nicki Minaj who's calling him out because he's making these ridiculous comments about wanting to see more trans kids. Look, Gavin Newsom is in the pocket of Big Pharma, which may be why he loves to see more kids set to go down the path of drugs and changing what nature and God gave them. But I think what we're seeing here is that Gavin Newsom is finding out he is never going to make everybody happy because he stands for nothing. Grant, you and I have watched Gavin Newsom for a long time, and he says what works for him in that moment. Whether it's about women's sports, whether it's about trans kids. He says what he thinks he needs to say. And I think the real question is if Gavin Newsom wants to be a success and run for the presidency, he's going to have to start making some choices. He's not going to be able to say ridiculous things because people like Nicki Minaj and others are actually paying attention and they're Calling him out for his crazy.
Grant Stinchfield
Didn't he just tell one of the conservative influencers that he did an interview with? I can't remember whether it was Charlie Kirk or one of the others. That he understands that men playing in women's sports is not fair. And then he brings this. I want to see more trans kids.
Jennifer Horn
That's exactly the point. And it was Charlie Kirk actually, in the podcast, when Gavin Newsom invited Charlie on to his very first podcast, when he thought he was going to be moderate Gavin Newsom. Now he realized that he's getting more play, being far left Gavin Newsom and taking on Trump all the time. So now he's showing us this side of himself. But yes, he said it wasn't fair for biological men to play in women's sports, but now he wants to see trans kids running all over the place. He should be supporting healthy, happy kids. He should figure out who he is and what side of the political fence he's going to. He's going to sit on and stay there.
Grant Stinchfield
So you want to know a little bit more about the White House? I think I'm not out of line if I tell you this first. Let's roll Nicki Minaj's tweet of her dancing with J.D. vance. Okay. She tweeted this out. Roll that, guys.
Queen Nicky, dominant, prominent.
And that's one of the versions of JD Vance and this JD Vance memes that have just been going crazy. The vice president told me today that he had not gotten more kudos from friends going all the way back to high school than he did when Nicki Minaj started tweeting about him. He says, hey, I'm the vice President, United States. I'm getting more kudos about Nicki Minaj. It was pretty interesting, but I think this pose, well, for the midterms that someone like that is still on board with the Trump train. Jennifer, the last word real quick for me.
Jennifer Horn
Yeah. And this isn't the first time she came out and supported President Trump because he's paying attention to the persecution of Christians in Africa. Look, I think we've seen our first major pop star come out as MAGA. And you know, there are others following behind Jenny McCarthy. Donnie Wahlberg just came out today with the same. So watch out, Hollywood maga's coming.
Grant Stinchfield
Yeah. Isn't that the truth? Jen Horn, as always, great to see you on X. You can find her at Jennifer Horn. Have yourself a great weekend, Jen.
Jennifer Horn
Thank you.
Grant Stinchfield

Jennifer Horn
Even kind of cheesy. But I like it. Sure you met some of my dietary.
Grant Stinchfield
Needs, but they've just got it all.
Jennifer Horn
So farewell Oatmeal.
Grant Stinchfield
So long, you strange soggy. Break up with bland breakfast and taste AMPM's bacon, egg and cheese biscuit made with cage free eggs, smoked bacon and melty cheese on a buttery biscuit. Am P M. Too much. Good stuff. Welcome back everyone. One of the other issues that we talked about at the White House today is is the issue of bringing the cost of things down and making sure that everything's not expensive. One of the ways you do that, you got to bring the cost of housing down, you got to bring the cost of groceries down. But if eggs were at eight or nine dollars a dozen under Joe Biden and they're now at six dollars, people still say I remember when they were two dollars and fifty cents. Even though you've brought it down 30, 40%. So the white House realizes it's not good enough. We got to keep bringing it down. But that starts with interest Rates, by the way, because everything will follow the interest rates. Trust me on this. This is Caroline Levitt.
Jennifer Horn
Recently, I think the President has been.
Grant Stinchfield
Quite clear about what he believes the.
Jennifer Horn
Fed should be doing, which is lowering interest rates.
Grant Stinchfield
I know there was a quarter point.
Jennifer Horn
Reduction this past week and the President.
Grant Stinchfield
Was pleased to see that, but he.
Jennifer Horn
Thinks more should be done.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, the reality is it's not enough. More should be done and quicker. Here's Kevin Hassett.
Dan Veroni
The fact is that they've been way.
Grant Stinchfield
Behind getting the rates down. The economy is doing well, but because of all the supply side action that we've taken, we've got high growth with declining inflation, and so they've got plenty of room to cut rates. They'll do a little bit this time, but they'll probably need to do some more. Well, the reality is, right, I do a show like this every night. Usually see me yelling and screaming, and it's a little more entertaining talking about Somali fraud than it is talking interest rates. But it matters and I want to arm you with information when your friends are talking to you about interest rates, about why they matter, like to the heart of why they matter. I want to bring in now to discuss all of this. Keynote speaker, author and founder of Potomac Core. He had a recent op ed piece in Real Clear Politics which literally spells this all out. Daniel Veroni is with us. Daniel, welcome to the program.
Dan Veroni
It's a pleasure to be with you, Grant.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, I was very impressed with your Real Clear Politics article. And you were saying, and correct me if the numbers wrong, five more rate cuts. We need rate cuts like they're going out of style. Dan, explain this to me.
Dan Veroni
Sure. So essentially what I said is, you know, remember back in school when the teacher said, you know, you didn't do good enough, you only get half credit. So I, I wrote in this op ed, I said that the Fed chair, Jerome Powell and the board of Governors at the Federal Reserve needed to cut rates by 150 basis. As of today, they've cut them by 75 basis points. So if you're a small business owner right now, the cost of capital is still way too high, thanks to the Federal Reserve. So essentially what I argued for was much lower rates to bring it down to about 2.5%. They're now at about 3.5 to 3.75%, still too high. So when I interviewed 35 small business owners for my new book, one of the things I heard consistently was the cost and access to affordable capital is just out of their reach. So if we want businesses to grow. And oh, by the way, small businesses employ or create two of three new private sector jobs. So if we're not going to lower those interest rates down to 2 and a half or 3%, they're not going to be able to hire those jobs.
Grant Stinchfield
From trucking. And I can buy more trucks when I have lower interest rates. Trucks are a great example of equipment that I need to run my business and grow the business. If I buy another truck, guess what, I hire another driver. It doesn't drive itself, not yet anyway, in my business. That's one example of this. It also filters down though, to the economy. When you have home buyers who are trying to buy a first time, a first time home, or someone who bought a home five years ago, they can't go buy a new home. Can you explain this to me, Dan?
Dan Veroni
Yep, sure. You know, interest rates are way too high. So when you, when you look at where we are today in the economy things, the economy is a bit like cement. President Trump and his administration have done a marvelous job with reducing regulations and signing into law the one big beautiful bill. The issue is, is that you need affordable capital to get the economy moving. The reason why it's important to build houses is because there's a lot of good stuff that goes in there. There's washers, there's dryers, there's heaters, there's air conditioning and the types of things that move and drive and grow this economy. And unless those interest rates down, we can't get the economy moving at the rate that we all want to see the economy moving.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, let me ask you the tough question. All this, because I constantly hear people talk about bringing the cost of housing down. And actually this month rents are down, which is for three months in a row now rents are down. That's a real tribute to the Trump administration. But I'm a homeowner. At least the bank owns some of my home. But, but I'm a homeowner owner. I don't necessarily want properties to come down. I don't want to lose money. I've made money on my house. How do you balance that from, you know, we don't want just my equity to go vanishing from my piece of real estate that I'm trying to pay off.
Dan Veroni
So the way you bet, clearly what's happening right now is, is home prices are going down. Home prices are going down because the, the economy is where it is and the cost of money is too high. We've got to get the cost of money back down. To RA and reasonable levels. Grant, that is the issue. We've got to bring the cost of money down. If we bring the cost of money down, people will buy cars, people will buy houses. People will be able to sell houses. For those of us like you and I who own our homes, our homes will increase in value. It's about the cost of money. It's got to be made far more affordable than it is today. And, Grant, I want to share something else with you.
Grant Stinchfield
You.
Dan Veroni
You know, here's what's interesting. When we hear others in the media talk about that inflation is persistently high. Here's something interesting that I learned when I was researching my book. Do you realize the Biden administration imposed regulations at about $1.3 trillion? Now, what President Trump and his administration are doing is they're reducing, they're unwinding those cost of regulations. Businesses have to pass those costs on. That raises costs. So say it's the Trump administration's fault. The answer is the Trump administration is unwinding those regulations, which over time is going to lower costs. And when the Federal Reserve finally gets rational, lowers those interest rates, and the cost of money comes down, then goods and services will cost a lot less than they do today.
Grant Stinchfield
And when that happens, this economy will take off like a rocket ship. And I'm convinced the one big beautiful bill that a lot of these provisions take place at the first of the year will help spur that we get a little help from the Fed. Jerome Powell should be gone soon enough. We shall see. Dan Veroni, first time on the show. Great job, and I hope you come back soon. Thank you, my friend.
Dan Veroni
Thank you. Like to thank you.
Grant Stinchfield
Absolutely. All right, folks, we got into this story about a Michigan. Well, about. No, no, no, no, no. It's the coach of Michigan, I believe, right now. Right. Michigan's football coach has now been fired. He's facing charges of stalking and home invasion. This was the head coach of Michigan, for crying out loud. We'll get into this next crazy story.
Jennifer Horn
At Hinge, we found Gen Z daters want deeper conversations, but they're 36% more hesitant than millennials to start them. I'm Logan Urie, Hinge's lead relationship scientist.
Grant Stinchfield
We call this the communication gap, the.
Jennifer Horn
Space between wanting connection and actually starting the conversation.
Grant Stinchfield
But here's the good news. It doesn't have to be this way.
Jennifer Horn
Ask one better question or share something honest and watch the connection grow.

Cool. All right. Michigan football's got some problems, all right. Not only the fact that they were nine and three, they had greater hopes than that for this season, but Maybe they were 9 and 3 because the football coach seems a little crazy. Well, he's not their coach anymore. He got fired. I'm talking about Sharon Moore. They tell him he's fired because he had an inappropriate relationship. The guy's married, allegedly has a relationship with a staffer which is against the rules Michigan laid out.
Dr. Joseph Clark
Out.
Grant Stinchfield
And after that, police say he freaks out. He goes to the girlfriend's house, say the allegations. He breaks into her house, starts screaming and yelling at her, and now he is out on a $25,000 bond. Of course, he was mad at her because he says she got him fired. I want to bring in now our sports chick extraordinaire, Britt McHenry is here. She, of course, is a correspondent for Real America's Voice. Britt, welcome to the program.
Thank you for having me. This is quite the story, honestly. This is like, how can you self sabotage and blow up your life in 48 hours sting? And not to make light of it, because as I'm sure you possibly detailed earlier on the show this week, she ends up ended this relationship allegedly on Monday and within two days in a bombardment of texts, harassment, behavior that she considered stalking. Right? She went to the school officials. That is why this woman who was in a relationship with him for two years, she said to the school, finally reported it. There were rumors that they had something going on since October, but at the time they both denied it. But then she ended it this week. And then after that behavior reported to the school when he was fired, as you said, he showed up from court today from his hearing. They said that he showed up to her home with butter knives and scissors and threatened suicide and just completely had a breakdown. And we can go into a lot of factors here. Obviously a safety issue and a frightening issue for her, as any human would feel and as a woman. But also like this man made it to the pinnacle of his career, right? Like he was actually nominated as one of the best college head coaches in 2023 when he took over. He was working the offensive line and as a coordinator and as the head coach. If you remember, when Jim Harbaugh was suspended, they had a whole sign stealing fiasco. They then went on to win the national championship. And this man became the 21st head coach for Michigan and the first ever African American coach. There was hopes and dreams on him. And he signed a $27.5 million contract making about 6 million this past year. This is where he's at now. And this isn't the only female. An onlyfans star came out and said he was inappropriately messaging her and trickles of other women. And he's married with three children, a 39 year old man. That is where we stand right now, as you can see from the picture of him zooming into court.
All right, so at first I thought on this, all right, you know, an inappropriate relationship with someone on your staff though, it's not good. But if you're one of the top football coaches, as you mentioned, this guy was instrumental in much of Michigan's success. You might say, hey, you guys got to knock it off or what? You don't fire the guy. But I guess when she broke it off, these text messages had to be so bad and so damning that Michigan had no choice but to fire him. Is that the case here or did they use this as an excuse to get rid of him? Do they want him gone?
They did not want him gone. He's a great coach. This is a revered, respected program. Clearly not in this circumstance, but they were fine with him. And as you said, perhaps there would have been an excuse or quite frankly in the business world settlement that alone if this had ended. But it's not, not what you should be doing through school or company policy obviously to have a relationship with subordinate. Records were showing that her salary had almost doubled from in the 50,000 range to 90,000 range. And people were speculating, is this because of her relationship to him? Did she possibly consider coming forward earlier? But absolutely, once the messages she reported that were threatening and you know, violent and his behavior, I mean, there's no way you can keep a head coaching job after that. There's no way you should be at any company as the leader of that company if you can't quite frankly keep it level headed and keep it in your pants. I mean, let's be honest here. But now it's going to be interesting to see how this continues to play out just for this, this victim who's still employed by the school by the way, and his next court appearances in the end of January.
All right, so Sharon Moore's next court appearance. Right, because the victim. Yes, the, the victim is a woman. Right? That.
Yes, the victim is a woman. Yes.
Okay. All right.
Yeah, it doesn't get any crazier at this moment right now.
But yeah, let me play you. He was had a hearing today, decide on bail and those kinds of things. This is cut three guys behind the glass, roll that address that is alleged in the complaint, barged his way into.
Jennifer Horn
That apartment immediately, then proceeded to a.
Grant Stinchfield
Kitchen drawer, grabbed several butter knives and.
Jennifer Horn
A pair of kitchen scissors, and began.
Grant Stinchfield
To threaten his own life. I'm going to kill myself.
I'm going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life.
Brett, I don't want you to take offense to this. I don't want my very special lady friend to take offense to this. But I want to give some advice, advice to the young man out there. Okay, sure. There is no woman in the world that is worth doing this to your career. Doing it to them. Doing it to fly off the handle. You know what? Take your lumps like a man and then, you know, go out and find another girlfriend. But for crying out loud, this is craziness. Brett, last word.
Yeah, I'm with you. I mean, I could say a lot more things I probably shouldn't on air right now. Just have some comments. Common sense. You are supposed to be a leader of men on that football field. You are supposed to be a figure, a public figure at the school of moral decency. And most importantly, $0.02. You mentioned it with the career, but like, you have three children. You have three little kids that are gonna watch this play out. At best, you could have just said, you know what? I'm taking my firing. Let's keep this quiet. Let's do whatever is best for her. The woman that was involved in this relationship and for the school instead said, we saw a criminal act and that is what he's going to be paying for. And this isn't even something you joke about with Ohio State conference rivals. This is just sad all around. And Michigan should be very ashamed that this played out the way it did.
Yeah, they sure should. Britt McHenry, you get the award for best background of the week. The Yule log heading into Christmas.
Thank you. I couldn't be in studio with you, so we, you know, I did what I could.
It's great seeing you. I appreciate you coming on tonight.
Thank you.

I mean, there are 45 products. So the best thing to do is just go to their website and look and see what appeals to you for your needs. But they do have three bestsellers. Fake news media is blaming fear for their bad viewership. Well, we don't scare people. We have ratings through the roof. It's next. Let me clue in to a little tip about how the TV business works. Content is king. You put on a good show, people are going to watch. It's why our ratings are literally through the roof. Not just on this show, but real America's voices. Ratings are like exploding at record levels. Not so much for the mainstream media, including the old grand pappy outlets like CBS. 60 Minutes, dropping like a rock in the ocean. Well, Scott Pelley had this to say about why we are all experiencing trouble getting people to appear on our broadcast. Us because of the fear that has spread across the country. And yet, given that limitation, we are still on the air telling the public these stories. We talk about fear, you know, I said coming into this so that that we don't scare. The reality is I see some awfully scary things on here all the time. Fear doesn't drive people away way bad content and lies do. That's your problem. The reason people don't want to go on 60 minutes anymore is because it's a setup job. Not here. Truth bombs, baby. Have yourself a great weekend. We'll see you Monday. Stitchfield's army rolls.
