Learn more and sign the pledge@workingwithcancerpledge.com. Good evening, everyone. Welcome to stinchfield. In the FBI's quest to secretly get Trump, you know what the FBI did? It secretly subjected hundreds of Americans to unwarranted surveillance, invading their privacy through all kinds of tactics. This, as John Solomon over at Just the News is reporting that they basically treated President Trump as a national security risk. Listen to what John is reporting. Four separate operations. Two of them I had heard of. Of course, there's Crossfire Hurricane at the top of the list. The other is Round River Plasmic Echo and then Arctic Frost, we've heard of those. But these were secret operations inside the FBI designed to stop President Trump. They went after members of Congress, they went after anyone close to President Trump. They even went after Cash Patel, the now director of the FBI, surveilling his records. Now 1200 people, John, reports were part of these, quote, special circumstances when it comes to the surveillance, special circumstances, targets. To me, this is so far out of bounds, so far out of the lines of what our government is supposed to be doing. You may remember they were surveilling members of Congress, anybody they thought that would help them get Trump is who was in their crosshairs. And now John Solomon's exposing it. I want to bring in now host of Just the News, no Noise, John Solomon from Just the News. John, my friend, welcome to the program.
John Solomon
Yeah, good to be with you, Grant.
Grant Stinchfield
John, I guess I left somebody off the list. I think you were targeted, were you not?
John Solomon
We'll find out. I do know from my interactions in 2022 that the Southern District of New York had identified me as a subject of a criminal investigation concerning my reporting about Hunter Biden. They were concerned that maybe I had taken Russian disinformation from Rudy Giuliani or people around Rudy Giuliani and reported it turns out all those Russian disinformation things were actually facts that turned out to be true. And what the government found out when I cooperated with them is that I didn't get my stuff from Rudy Giuliani or from Russians or Ukrainians. I actually had a large part of the FBI's files on Hunter Biden, files that were created even before his laptop had been obtained by the FBI. I got him in December 2018, and it showed that the FBI had these concerns about Hunter Biden's behavior, particularly in Ukraine, particularly concerns that he didn't pay taxes on some of the money that he had earned in Ukraine, something that years later would be corroborated by the IRS whistleblowers and the eventual tax case against him. So the second the government found out that what I had was from the FBI's files, they didn't want to have anything more to do with me. They shut down the investigation. I moved on. I think there's some evidence that that may be connected to an operation called Round river, which is one of those four investigations you just mentioned. John, Round river was created in late 19 and early 20s, and basically it created speech delimiters. If you talked a certain way about Hunter Biden in Ukraine, you might have been deemed a Russian disinformation artist and subjected and treated as a national security threat. Certainly Rudy Giuliani was treated that way. We believe many others were. That's one of the four counterintelligence investigations that basically treated President Trump like a national security threat. For nine consecutive years, from the beginning of 2016 to the or the middle of 2016 to the beginning of 2025, these four investigations continuously targeted President Trump and his followers. It's pretty extraordinary to think that the FBI thought a man the American public twice elected as president, to them, they saw a security threat.
Grant Stinchfield
John, it's amazing to me, you know, Round river was gonna be one of the last questions I was going to ask you, but you explained that was surrounding Rudy Giuliani. I believe you're probably right. You probably were caught up in some of that. I guess the question I'm going to ask you first, before we get into some of the nitty gritty details, is when you look at hundreds of Americans, from members of Congress to innocent civilians, being caught up in this surveillance, which I believe actually was illegal, is there any criminal culpability in this? Is the FBI looking at offering warrants up for. For these people that were involved in this? If the statute of limitations run out, is it a possibility to go after anybody criminal?
John Solomon
Well, it is funny you should ask that, because just a little bit ago, sitting in the seat right next to me here was the Assistant Attorney General for civil rights, Harmony Dhillon, who said, tonight, I absolutely see some criminality in what went on here, and I'm very concerned about it. And I think you could make a conspiracy case. Obviously, she can't talk about the specifics yet, but what we do know from our reporting is that that conspiracy case resides down in Florida in the hands of the U.S. attorney in Miami in a grand jury that's been meeting for several weeks now. In Fort Pierce, Florida. We know that people like John Brennan, the former CIA director, and others are being reviewed in that grand jury proceedings. And we expect some activity to come out in the next few weeks. There's been a delay. The Senate, the same Senate that doesn't want to vote on the Save America act or do a lot of other things that the American people are clamoring for, they haven't yet sent the transcripts over that the prosecutors requested weeks ago. That's a point of frustration, I think, for the prosecutors and the FBI, but they'll eventually get transmitted and that'll allow the case to proceed forward. But Harmeet Dhillon clearly talking about that tonight. And then in the third block of my show, I brought on the FBI agent that used to do the review of phone records, like what Cash Patel went through recently or Susie Wiles, two people that were targeted. He did it in an earlier era when there was much more significant protections applied to phone records. And he said, I absolutely see criminality in what you've reported. And I absolutely believe that at the end of my FBI career, he left in 15 or 16 after a very storied career. He helped solve the Khobar Towers terrorism bombing that Iran was involved in. Kind of relevant today. He ran the effort to track down terrorists after 9 11. Very decorated, respected FBI agent, said, at the end of my career, I saw the FBI leadership start to pick people who were not good at solving crimes, who weren't skilled in what FBI agents normally were skilled in. They were skilled in political sentiments. And the FBI was bringing them in in droves. And I saw then the beginning of what you now have exposed. They brought political people in to create political weaponization, to harm a political consequence. And then he talked about how some of the records or some of the rules for monitoring phone records are being changed at the end of the Obama administration. And he said very prophetically, I believe those changes were being made for a political operation that would lay ahead, meaning what happened to Donald Trump. Really amazing conversations we had here in Real America's Voice today.
Grant Stinchfield
Amazing to say the least. Armee Dhillon, as you know, I have great respect for fabulous prosecutor. Now, my biggest concern is that we've heard this all before about I see evidence of, of wrongdoing. We see it in Georgia. I heard an FBI agent saying, say there's evidence of irregularities in Georgia. We know with Fauci, oh, there's evidence. But then nothing gets done. And I hope something comes of this. John, is there any chance that it will? I don't know how you would know this unless you're inside the mind of Pam Bondi, I guess.
John Solomon
Listen, I think Pam Bondi's already made the big decision, which is to kick it out of Washington, send it down to Florida and let these prosecutors in Florida. By the way, there's some really great career prosecutors in the Miami office. Some of them grew up in Cuba and fled or their families fled Cuba. They don't want to see America become what their families had to flee Cuba from. They're at the forefront of this investigation. I think we'll see some progress. We'll get some answers. I think there are some very big actions occurring inside the FBI right now as we speak in the last week, particularly with the discovery of the Round river records. Those are being declassified soon to be made public. We'll find out if the speech delimiters were actually true, things that were made to look by the FBI to be disinformation. I think there'll be a lot of satisfaction in the next few months. But Harmeet Dhillon addressed it. He said, I understand the frustration. And she revealed something tonight that I didn't know. Her law firm records were targeted as part of these investigations. She said the Democrats were trying to figure out what cases we were doing as Republican lawyers. And that concerns the Livin Dickens item. She also said something else. She was down in Maricopa County. That's where this week the FBI executed a grand jury subpoena to go get records. As you saw, I saw really bad behavior going on in Maricopa County. I assure you, it's gonna be brought to an end. So someone who was a victim and who witnessed some of this stuff, assuring the American public that we're gonna get to the bottom of it.
Grant Stinchfield
I want people to understand at home how outside the bounds of a representative democracy, a free country where the government's supposed to be by and for the people, not working against political enemies and foes. To me, this is so deceitful on behalf of the left on beh the Biden administration. I think it goes all the way back to Barack Obama, the transformation of the FBI into henchmen for the left. And I'm so grateful you exposing all of this really quickly if you can, John, I guess last question for you. Was there any evidence? We know the evidence goes to Merrick Garland that the former attorney general was behind a lot of this. Does it go to Joe Biden himself? Did Joe Biden have any role in all this? Real quick if you can, for me,
John Solomon
John, I think Both Obama and Biden have to be. That question has to be addressed by the prosecutors. We know they sat in meetings in 2016 where they plotted out some of the Russia collusion investigation that would follow after they left office. I think they're looking at those issues now. We'll get to the bottom of it. And I also will bring up Chris Wray. He presided over a large part of this. A lot of people don't talk about him in the same vein as James Comey. I think there's growing concern that what went on in Chris Wray's watch is very disturbing.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, if anybody's going to expose it, John Solomon in Just the News is, buddy, you're amazing. The work you're doing is fabulous. I always appreciate you spending time with me.
John Solomon
Yeah. Honored to be on the same network as you. Really am.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, the feeling is 100% mutual, my friend. Thank you. We'll keep an eye on, you know what I'm going to do? I'm just going to keep an eye on justthenews.com that's where I keep an eye on it because he's doing great work. All right. I want to turn now to the war in Iran. No more new wars. That was President Trump's promise, right? I think he's living up to his promise. President Trump said he would get us out of wars. This war in Iran has been going on for 47 years. To my conservative friends out there, knock off the nonsense. Oh, we didn't vote for this. We don't want more wars. This is not about a new war. This is about ending a 47 year campaign to destroy American lives, to end them. That on behalf of Iran. Well, I have good news to report. We are winning. This is new video that you're looking at right here of the United States military destroying, annihilating, to use President Trump's terms, naval ships that are owned by Iran and operated by Iran. That navy has been obliterated. So the update right now is very, very good. President Trump said, you know what, maybe not days this being over, but very, very soon. Here's Car Levitt. Today, more than 5,000 enemy targets have been struck so far. Iran's ballistic missile attacks are down more than 90% and their drone attacks are down by approximately 85% since the start of Operation Epic Fury. The United States is also annihilating the Iranian regime's navy. And we have destroyed more than 50 Iranian naval vessels, including a major drone capture carrier ship. You want to know the biggest mistake that America could Make right now is not finishing the job, is somehow ending this special operation. Epic Fury, before we have to use the administration's terms, annihilated every piece of the Iranian military equipment and leadership. There's no sign of that happening. By the way, it looks like the hammer has been put down. Pete Hegseth says. You know what? Today is going to be a big day. Listen. Today will be yet again our most intense day of strikes inside Iran. The most fighters, the most bombers, the most strikes. Intelligence more refined and better than ever. So that's on one hand. On the other hand, the last 24 hours have seen Iran fire the lowest number of missiles they've been capable of firing yet. I wonder why. Maybe because we're blowing their missile installations to smithereens, including ones on wheels which are still difficult to find, but we're slowly destroying all of them. I want to bring in now to discuss this former United States Special Envoy for Nuclear Non Proliferation. Ambassador Robert Joseph is with us. Mr. Ambassador, welcome to the program, sir.
Ambassador Robert Joseph
Well, good evening and thank you very much for having me on your program. It's a true honor.
John Solomon
Well.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, the honor is mine, sir. We got some good news today. I wanted to touch on and get your comments on this. Up to 31 separate operations from Iranian resistance groups that have gone on in 20 cities, including Tehran, blowing up command centers, lighting fires at many of the military bases. This is huge that these resistance groups are now operating on the ground inside Iran. Can you expound on that for me, Ambassador?
Ambassador Robert Joseph
Well, I think this is really the key to success, because if this regime survives in any form, it's a win for the other side. There is a democratic alternative that's out there. We've seen the Iranian people rise up time and time again, including in January at great cost to life, with estimates of over 30,000 individuals mass murdered in the streets. I think the President, in addition to setting the military objectives, eliminating the ballistic missile threat, the drone threat, the Navy, the air force, cutting off Iran from its terrorist proxies, in addition to these military objectives, he has talked about the need for regime change. Not with American boots on the ground, but by the Iranian people, for the Iranian people. And I think that's what you're referring to. And I think, as I said, if we're going to succeed, that must succeed as well. This regime must be ended. Because if it doesn't end, I can guarantee you, based on all of my experience, that the regime will fast track it to a nuclear weapon and we will once again be confronted with the choice of fighting them now or fighting them with a nuclear weapon. And that's an easy choice.
Grant Stinchfield
I think this is what President Trump was considering when he decided to launch the attacks inside Iran. I want you to listen to Steve Witkoff. Now, here's the dilemma. We know that Iran lies. We know China lies. We know Russia lies. Our enemies lie. We know that, that. But when they offer up something as serious as a nuclear bomb, and sir, your specialty is nuclear proliferation. I want you to listen to what Steve Witkoff said the Iranians were telling them and then explain to me why President Trump did what he did. Roll that to start the conversation off with the predicate that they're entitled to enrich with the further predicate that they've got 11 bombs worth of enrichment material, material a week to a week and a half away from being weapons grade and that they weren't going to give to us diplomatically what, what they claim we couldn't win from a military standpoint. That was, that was reason enough for us to determine that they weren't there for to, to. To be purposefully negotiating a diplomatic settlement. Sir, I guess in the end you have to believe Iran there, even though they could be fibbing, but you have to God forb to set a nuclear bomb off before we acted.
Ambassador Robert Joseph
Well, if their lips are moving, they're lying. Now, in this case, I happen to believe that it could be true because we do know from previous evidence that Iran had enriched up to 60% in terms of the enrichment level of the uranium, enough material for 11 nuclear weapons. It's a short step from 60 to weapons grade. And I think that's what they were threatening and nuclear. The pursuit of a nuclear weapon is in the DNA of this regime. And that's why I say we've got to finish the job, because it was the nuclear issue that brought us to this point in the first instance. The President made every effort to negotiate and have a diplomatic outcome, but unlike previous presidents, he rejected appeasement. And he said we have to have an effective agreement that forecloses permanently the option for Iran to have a nuclear weapon. They rejected that and they began to reconstitute their enrichment capability. And I'm sure the weaponization that follows,
Grant Stinchfield
well, as Pete Hegseth said, our Secretary of war, it's not 1992. You brought up what I brought up. I think it's imperative that the job is absolutely finished here. By all indications are that the Trump administration will do just that. Ambassador ROBERT Joseph, it's a great pleasure having you on the program. I appreciate your insight and all this. Please come back.
Ambassador Robert Joseph
Thank you, sir.
Grant Stinchfield
Absolutely. And thank you. Look, you put yourself in President Trump's shoes here. What else are you gonna do? You've gotta act before they do something. And that's what President Trump did, God bless him. He's ending a 47 year war, not starting a new war. All right, I want to turn now to the SAVE act, something that is very, very important. John, TH is now a complete disgrace. I'm sorry to say it. I know he's a Republican. He may be a nice guy. I don't know him. I've never met the man. I don't even think I've ever interviewed him, maybe once. But he put out a tweet that read this tweet 19, by the way, the guy's behind the glass. This is from an NBC reporter. I asked Thune if he feels pressure to pass the Save America act mounting, quote, a lot of that. It's in that kind of, you know, paid influencer ecosystem. Hey, Thune, are you freaking kidding me? This is the one issue nobody needs to pay anybody to push the Save America Act. Every conservative influencer I know is 100% behind the save America act, pushing it not for paid money, for free. This is not an influencer campaign. This is a Save America campaign. This is anybody committed to this nation having a future. Bethune isn't committed to that. I'm going to say some harsh words to the man right now, unless you can change things around very quickly. You want to see an example of inept leadership, of inefficient leadership, and quite frankly, disappointing leadership. Roland, we don't have the votes either to proceed, get on a talking filibuster, nor to sustain one if we got on. But that's just a. That is just a function of math and there isn't anything I can do about that. Oh, there's a lot you can do about it, pal. I mean, this is so maddening to me because I'm sick of watching United States senators, specifically Republicans, walk in cement shoes in Washington, D.C. it's a swamp. Put your rubber boots on, get in a boat, start making some progress. They can't do it. This is disgraceful. Listen, again, I understand the President's got a passion to see this issue addressed as we all do.
E.J. Antoni
Does he understand that, though?
Grant Stinchfield
Well, we've conveyed that to him, but we will continue to make that argument because I think it's important that everybody understand that this really is about. It's about the votes. It's about the math. You have the gall to tell the American people President Trump doesn't understand what's at stake, doesn't understand how Washington operates. The reason we elected him is because we don't want Washington operating the way it always operates. The reason President Trump is losing patience is because y' all up there in the uni party are toasting your scotches in the basement of the Capitol when the American people are going to suffer at the hands of Democrats if we don't get this thing passed soon again. And I think that we're going to have the fight on the floor. We're going to vote on this, we're going to put it up, and we'll give the Democrats the opportunity to cast their vote on whether or not they think noncitizens ought to vote in American elections. That's not the way to do it because the Democrats don't care about what they look like. Their side will vote for him anyway, even though they agree with voter ID in huge numbers. Harry Anton again from cnn. What's the racial breakdown on this? Right, because I think a lot of people make the argument that people of color, non white Americans, have a harder time procuring a photo ID to vote. But even here, take a look here. Favorite photo ID to vote, 85% of white people Favorite. 82% of Latino, 76% of black Americans, favorite. So the bottom line is this, voter ID is not controversial in this country. A photo ID to vote is not controversial in this country. That's cnn. We all know it's not controversial. The only ones that believe it's controversial are elected leaders that have a D next to their name because they use it to cheat the lack of voter ID and proving you're an American citizen. Now, I'm going to do Thune's job for him here, okay? There are some ways to get this through the talking. Filibuster is not going to work. I already know it's not going to work. You're not going to get enough of these Republican senators on board. So the worst case scenario here, if you can't get this passed through a talking filibuster or throwing out the filibuster altogether that 60 vote minimum, then you've got to go to reconciliation. Reconciliation is a budgetary maneuver. You only need 51 votes to pass. Now, you can't pass policy with reconciliation, but you can pass financial restrictions. So here's what you do, you dopey Republicans. Write the bill into a reconciliation package that's tied to the budget that there will be no money for any state that does not have voter ID or proving you're an American citizen to it. No money. I mean for everything. You want election security grants in your state? Well, you don't get those either unless you have voter ID and proof you're an American citizen. Money talks not just in Washington, but around the country. And these idiots in Washington, for whatever reason, they don't want it. And I believe it's because they don't want to upset their Democrat friends because they're all buddies up there. And even with President Trump in office, they're quietly smiling. The joke is on all of us. Well, guess what, the jig is up. The joke's on them and we're fed up. So now, folks, I'm telling you, it is up to you. The only way we get any action on this is all of you holding these elected leaders accountable. Democrat, Republican. No more photos with them when you go to a town hall meeting. No more shaking their hands. No more sucking up to them. You know who I'm talking about. Tell them you demand this and we'll push it through together. All right. America is focused on strengthening domestic energy production and securing reliable resources for the future. One company working in that direction is Lost Soldier Oil and Gas. After decades of geological research and land assembly, Lost Soldier has developed a large natural gas project spanning approximately 40,000 acres in Wyoming's Rocky Mountain region. Independent engineering evaluations estimate the property contains ready for this significant, I mean huge natural gas resources, positioning it as a meaningful domestic energy opportunity. Lost Soldiers development plan includes a multi well drilling program designed to responsibly increase production over time using proven technologies. Growing demand from industries such as power generation, manufacturing. Emerging data infrastructure continues to drive the need for reliable, cleaner burning natural gas. The company is led by an experienced management team I know personally with a long history in energy development and public markets. To learn more about Lost Soldier oil and gas and how you can help reemerge America's energy independence, their energy project, how you can get involved with it, go to their website. You see the QR code on your screen right there? Lost soldier.com that's lost soldier.com. check them out. All right. Despite what fear mongering left wing media says President Trump's economic. President Trump's economy is about to boom. That's next.

We were eating at that little cafe there at the Santa Veronica one and Alanis hung back in a way that made me wonder what was happening. Like who wouldn't want to pet this beautiful puppy. Welcome back, everyone. Do not believe the fake news psyop of negativity about everything President Trump does, including the economy. All right? Typically when war breaks out, the Feds lower rates. They go up and buy loans. They infuse cash into the economy. For the first time in really modern American history, the Fed did nothing here. I believe it's sabotage of President Trump. This is the Heritage foundation senior economist on FOX Business. I know there's a lot of anxiety around the reparations conversation, but I was proud to be the first governor in America to sign a reparations bill. In fact, the first task force meeting was last Friday. Guys, Gavin Newsom is great, but that's, that's not the point. That's not the soundbite. We need to. And Gavin Newsom is not good at all, by the way. Do we have it? Last thing I want to do is hear Gavin Newsom roll it.
E.J. Antoni
There was a big study by Deutsche bank who looked at at past oil price shocks. They concluded that when the economy is as strong as it's been worth, about 2 or 3% growth, depending on how you measure it.
John Solomon
Right?
Grant Stinchfield
This is not the 1970s.
E.J. Antoni
Remember, the Nixon shock came before the oil embargo. So when an economy is strong like this, they felt that the, the real risk here is only if the Fed panics and hikes rates and in many
Grant Stinchfield
respects or does nothing, which again, I think is sabotage. Now, the US Economic Freedom Score is out from the Heritage Foundation. Look at this chart because under President Trump in just two years, it's on the rise. Now look where it went from Joe Biden. Decrease, decrease, decrease all the way to 2024, 70.4. Now in Trump in 2025 into 2026, 72.8. We are back on the rise. That's an important barometer right there. I want to bring in with us now our good friend, senior fellow At Unleashed Prosperity, E.J. antoni is with us. E.J. welcome to the program.
E.J. Antoni
Well, Grant, thanks for having me.
Grant Stinchfield
Absolutely. So I've been looking at this, this Freedom Score for a long time, specifically economic Freedom Score. This seems to be good news that we're moving in the right direction. But the media tells us this just isn't the case. C.J.
E.J. Antoni
yeah, well, Grant, I want to draw a distinction here between economic freedom and economic growth. Now, obviously, those two things are very tightly correlated, right? You only get strong economic growth when people are free to create it. And so that's why if you look at this ranking and you see the nations that are the most free, they tend to have the most not only economic growth, but the most human flourishing. Standards of living are higher, costs of living are lower. Sure, a country like Communist China has had plenty of economic growth, at least according to the Chinese Communist Party. But whatever the case, you haven't seen that prosperity reach the people. Right. It has stayed in the corrupt government over there. Whereas in nations like the United States and others that have a high degree of, of economic freedom, you do see that prosperity really reaching everybody, not just staying with some kind of elite ruling class and government officials, let's say. And under President Trump, chiefly because of the massive regulatory rollback that we've seen over the last 12 months or so, we now have a higher ranking for the first time in five years. Think of that. We had five years of decreases. We're finally back on the rise.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, that's a good thing that you talk about being empowered and the people being empowered. This is Congressman Jason Smith telling a story about one of his constituents. Do you know, just two weeks ago, I was traveling throughout my district and I talked to a young lady who came up to me and was so excited and wanted to thank me. Her tax refund was over $10,000. She was a waitress, no tax on tips. She had children. With the increased child deduction, these were things that drastically affected her bottom line. All right, E.J. that's all part of the big beautiful bill which we're just now starting to see. Some of the benefits of that bill, I would take it. A lower tax structure for everyday folks out there would be part of economic freedom, correct?
E.J. Antoni
Well, absolutely. You know, the regulatory component was the biggest part of the increase, but it wasn't the only one. Things a judicial system that's more likely to uphold contract law and property rights because it's no longer hyper focused on DEI or ESG or any of that other nonsense. Right. But instead is actually abiding by the rule of law. That helps as well. And you're absolutely right. Grant the tax cuts, allowing people to keep more of their money is another component that helped give that index a boost over the last year. And it's not just a matter of that. You get to keep More of your money. But it's specifically how these tax cuts are structured. They are mostly pro growth and pro work incentives. In other words, in the case of that waitress that you're describing, she got to keep more of what she earned. She has an incentive to work harder and provide better service because it will mean more tipped income and she gets to keep that tipped income. And so again, if you look at whether it's the, the pro work incentives or the pro investment incentives that are in the bill, and there's a lot of both, they definitely helped give that index a bit of a boost because again, it's not just a matter of economic growth, but economic freedom. And part of that is getting to keep what you earn and getting to keep the proceeds of what you invest.
Grant Stinchfield
You know what I love, E.J. you didn't use a term that so many Republicans use that I despise. You know what it's called pro business. I hate when conservatives use pro business. We don't want to pick special classes of people. Pro free markets. You want to be pro investment. That's great. Pro work. That's great. Pro business is not great. Pro free markets is everything. And it looks like we're moving in a, in a faster direction towards real free markets in America, at least according to your survey there at Unleashed Prosperity. I'll give you the last word.
E.J. Antoni
Well, Grant, I just want to really emphasize again, the really big part that that moved the needle here was deregulation. You know, the Biden administration over the course of four years added a record amount of regulatory compliance costs to this economy. And in Trump's first year of office, they rolled back a record number of regulations. It's the most any administration has ever rolled back in a 12 month period. So really, hats off to the administration. They haven't been perfect on everything, but they've been darn good when it comes to deregulation and regulatory reform.
Grant Stinchfield
I certainly feel good about the direction we're headed. Unleash prosperity. Doing such a great job, ej. Antonio, we always love when you come on the program. Thank you.
E.J. Antoni
Thank you, Grant.
Grant Stinchfield

Welcome back, everyone. I don't need to tell you, but California is a disaster. Gavin Newsom right now is on a quest to become the next President of the United States. If he brings his policies with him, this nation will be sunk. We cannot let it happen. Which is why I will continue to focus on the downfall of California. Just listen to former acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf explain some of the craziness that's happening right now in California. In California again, the birthplace of the sanctuary movement, local politicians released 4641 criminal aliens from local jails in 2025 rather than handing them over to ICE for removal.
Keenan Spivak
Those criminals included aliens that had committed
John Solomon
homicide, assault, sexual predatory offenses and burglary.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, I want to bring in now founder and chairman and CEO of SMI Group. He also write for Real Clear Politics. Keenan Spivak is with us. Kenan, welcome to the program.
Keenan Spivak
Thanks for having me back.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, it's great to see you again, sir. I was reading your piece in Real Clear Politics. You make it clear California's got a problem. How do we warn the rest of the nation?
Keenan Spivak
You know, I'm going to warn the rest of the nation by starting with President Joe Biden. Because what California has been doing about race, slicing and dicing by race and gender is exactly what Joe Biden did when he was president and had one hundred and forty different diversity, equity and inclusion plans throughout the federal government. But what California is proving that even under the Trump administration, a state can still do the exact same things. And this state government under Gavin Newsom has repeatedly tried to repeal Proposition 209, which as, as the nation may know, repealed affirmative action in education and throughout the state government. It's repeatedly moved down the path of trillions of dollars of reparations for black California residents. It's repeatedly tried to require corporate Boards to select directors based on race and gender orientation. It's a horrible, horrible precedent to set for the nation. And it tells us what will happen if Gavin Newsom is the next President of the United States.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, you mentioned a couple of things that make me laugh. So Gavin Newsom pushes reparations in California like all the other leftist lawmakers. I don't even believe, Keenan, that California was a slave state. There was no slavery in California to start with. Why are they even going down this road?
Keenan Spivak
All right, there was no slavery. California was admitted in 1850. Slavery was illegal in California. There is no one in California descended from anyone who in California ever owned or was a slave. And you know what's really pernicious about this is that when a commission that Gavin Newsom appointed decided to create the framework for reparations, they said it should go to all blacks who live in California, with very minor exceptions, whether they were descendants of slaves or not, whether they were worth hundreds of millions of dollars in the entertainment industry, whether they moved here from affluent backgrounds in wherever they may come from, just because they had the right melanin content. I mean, that's just racist.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, it sure is. I want to play a clip for you of Gavin Newsom. This goes back to last year. But. But besides the reparations, you've got. I used to do radio in Los Angeles. You've got billions of dollars spent on homelessness. Homeless numbers continue to increase. Housing is a huge problem out there. And yet Gavin Newsom says this about Los Angeles. Cut one, please. We are in Los Angeles,
Ambassador Robert Joseph
The most
Grant Stinchfield
diverse city in the most diverse county in the most diverse state in the world's most diverse democracy. And I've long believed that the world looks to us. Keenan, we may look to him, but this segment is not why he wants us looking at him.
Keenan Spivak
Yeah, let me start with something about diversity. California has 44 million residents. Two and a half million. Five percent are black. In a country where 12 or 13% of all Americans are black, California is not America's most diverse society in any way. It is the leader, though, in America in treating people based on their race and gender orientation. Remember, California is the state that is refusing to stop schools from secretly transitioning children without telling parents they've gone to court and lost on the right to keep from parents what's being done to their children. So California, diverse California, a leader, maybe a leader for all the wrong things. A leader. You know, really a leader for Marxists view that we all live here at the behest of the state.
Grant Stinchfield
State.
Keenan Spivak
We're not individuals. We're whatever the state tells us we are. That's not the type of leadership I want.
Grant Stinchfield
No, I can tell you people are leaving California in droves. It started out where liberals are leaving. They didn't quite understand why they were leaving, and they quickly figured it out and they brought their awful politics. I now actually think something sad is happening in California. Many of the conservatives that were left are also leaving now. They've given up on that state. Keenan, last. Kenan, last word. In 10, 15 seconds.
E.J. Antoni
Seconds.
Keenan Spivak
We've got to look at California as a leader for the direction. We don't want to go in and run the other direction. Make the United States a meritocracy like we want it to be and like it used to be.
Grant Stinchfield
Amen to that. Ken and Spivak, thank you so much for coming on the program. I appreciate it, sir. Always good to see you. Yep, you got it. All right, folks, the great resurgence of American manufacturing is here. We will highlight a u. S. Based manufacturer that. I don't know, I don't know. This story may put you to sleep. Coming up next. Wink, wink. Welcome back, everyone. Thanks to president Trump, manufacturing here in the United States is experiencing a resurgence. I want to bring in now somebody that anybody that has a garage knows, at least if you have a garage with a ladder in it. The CEO and founder of ghostbed, but before that, he was the founder of werner ladders, which I couldn't believe. Mark Werner is with us. Mark, welcome to the program.
Mark Werner
Thank you. Thank you for having ghostbed tonight.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, absolutely.
Mark Werner
About word or ladder, I didn't start it. My grandfather started 100 plus years ago.
Grant Stinchfield
It's. It's an amazing company. I think everybody owns a werner ladder and now you have this new company called ghostbed. I said that I hope this story puts people to sleep. Not right now, but ultimately. Why don't you tell me about what got you from ladders into beds, Mark?
Mark Werner
So I grew up in the ladder business and My grandfather started 100 years ago. My dad invented the aluminum ladder and then the fiberglass ladder. So I had great experience with branding, manufacturing, American made, etc. I ended up having three neck surgeries so I couldn't find a pillow or mattress that worked for me. So given my fiberglass background, I invented my memory foam pillow and mattress and named it ghostbed. Started it with my wife 25 years ago and wanted another American made family business. So that got me into the business and it's been a lot of fun ever Since.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, so these beds are all made in the United States. Can you tell me, was that difficult to manufacture and be competitive in the United States and is it getting easier now with the current administration?
Mark Werner
It's always been a little bit of a challenge, but it is getting easier with less regulation. It's very important to us to make it in the United States. We do business in Canada and the uk. We make product in those respective countries. But it's President Trump is much more favorable for domestic manufacturing, which is great. The Werner ladder, for example, was made in the US for over 100 years.
Grant Stinchfield
Years.
Mark Werner
And very proud of that.
Grant Stinchfield
Yeah, amazing. When it comes to the ghostbed, what do you want people to know about it? Why should people switch?
Mark Werner
Well, ghostbed, our whole shtick is kind of bigger, better, less expensive. So we put a lot of engineering and a lot of technology. We have a lot of patents on cooling, patents on adjustability, on different types of technologies. So you get very high grade product at a very reasonable price. And that's kind of our deliverable for our consumer. And the consumer has responded. We have tremendous amount of reviews. We're sold not just on our website, but we sell to people like Costco, which is a very high bar to get into Sam's Club, Amazon. We have over 100,000 reviews and they're just phenomenal type of feedback from the customer.
Grant Stinchfield
I'm curious as an entrepreneur, Mark, this is a very competitive marketplace. Beds. How did you have the chutzpah to go into this and take the chance on it?
Mark Werner
Well, as an entrepreneur you gotta be a little bit crazy. So I got into it. I knew I could make a better product. I've been inventing products for a long time. I'm actually the guy who invented the digital bathroom scale 45 plus years ago. So I've done a lot of different things and I thought I could deliver a high quality product that people would appreciate. And it turns out we're right. And yes, it's super competitive, but everyone sleeps. So that's one advantage out there. It's a large market and everyone sleeps. And people do connect with quality. And as my grandfather always used to say to me, profits follow quality. So if you do the right thing, you're going to be rewarded. And that's what we do. We put the extra money into every product we make, be it the mattress, adjustable base, pillow, sheets, etc. So we can have a better experience for the customer.
Grant Stinchfield
And again, everything delivers straight to your door. How does that work?
Mark Werner
So we have everything's fedex we vacuum packed up the products, we minimize the packaging size and we either use FedEx right to your threshold or we have white glove delivery. Either. Either or.
Grant Stinchfield
Wow. Amazing stuff. You know, I think about the scales. You want to sell a lot of scales? Make one that makes you look like you weigh a lot less. Did you ever think about doing that?
Mark Werner
That would be an AI thing. But I was happy investing and many people probably curse at me for checking their weight in the morning, but I was the guy.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, Mark Werner, fabulous history between Werner ladders the scales. Now ghost bed. I would urge everyone to go check your company out. Get one. I'm going to tell people how to find you and the deal that you're offering. Stinshield's army tonight. Mark Werner, thank you for coming on tonight. Here's what you do, folks. Check out the Ghostbed company. All right, it's ghostbed.com rav. That's ghostbed.com rev. And here's a great deal. You get an extra 10% off if you use the promo code. Rav. Do it today. Fascinating story. I love those. All right, Senator John Kennedy says what we are all thinking about. Leftist talking points on immigration. That's next. You know what I say about libertarians? Their good ideas are really good and their bad ideas are really bad. This is a policy guy with the Cato Institute, a libertarian organization. It is also an agenda intended to reduce the population of the United States, including U. S. Born people.
E.J. Antoni
Thank you.
John Solomon
These are not hyperbolic statements. I appreciate you reading my.
Grant Stinchfield
My account.
John Solomon
I appreciate.
Grant Stinchfield
Here's the good news. What planet? Wait a minute, Mr. Chairman, what planet?
E.J. Antoni
Did you just parachute.
Grant Stinchfield
No, no, no.
Ambassador Robert Joseph
Hey, guys.
Grant Stinchfield
You trigger my gag reflex.
Mark Werner
Mr. Bear.
Ambassador Robert Joseph
So
Grant Stinchfield
we said President Trump is deporting U.S. citizens to reduce the population. There is no reports of US Citizens being deported. Um. Come on. Cato Institute. I like some of the things you do. Like I said, your good ideas are great. Bad ones, not so much. You know who else is like that? Senator Rand Paul. His bad ideas are really bad. Good ideas are pretty good. That's a libertarian for you. That's gonna do it for us. Stitchfield's army roll. This is an iheart podcast.
