Grant Stinchfield
Good evening everyone. Welcome to Stitchfield. I want to give you an update tonight on the war in Iran and the update is very good. Now I want all of my friends out there to rest easy over this war in Iran. I believe it's going better than expected. Now here's what I do understand. I understand that there is a divide between say, the over 50 crowd, people like me that are all for this war, that love the idea of the military exercising its military right. It goes back to kind of Reagan esque days. But under 50 and under 40, I understand there's young people that don't like the idea of us going into Iran. What I'm here to tell all of you, if you fall into that category, is just pause yourself for a moment, give it a little rest and you will see that everything is going to work out just fine. That I promise you. This is President Trump today, right now, they are.
President Donald Trump
They've lost their navy, they've lost their air force. They have no anti aircraft apparatus at all. They have no radar. Their leaders are gone and we could do a lot worse than one another. We're leaving certain things that if we take them out, or we could take them out by this afternoon, in fact, within an hour, they literally would never be able to build that country back.
Grant Stinchfield
So that's the things that President Trump and his team are being careful about. You don't want to destroy the nation so bad that the good people of Iraq can't rebuild. What you're trying to do is destroy everything. The bad people in Iraq the regime is using to wage war on America and beyond. And again, it's, it's going very well, now I have no reason to doubt President Trump's comments. One, I have great trust in President Trump. I know the man, he's not one to lie, unlike Joe Biden. If this was the Biden administration, we couldn't trust anything coming out of the White House, much less Pentagon or beyond. But this is the Trump White House. It's the Trump Pentagon. But for my younger friends to rest you at ease, I made some phone calls today and I talked to mid level colonel levels inside the Pentagon and they back up everything the President is saying, that the war is going very well, that Iran is nearly devastated and it won't be long until this is completely over. And so again, we're getting confirmation from mid level commanders inside the Pentagon. This is President Trump again and we've won.
President Donald Trump
Let me say, you know, you never like to say too early, you won, we won. We won the bet in the first hour. It was over.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, so that's a big claim. President Trump wouldn't make it because we all remember George Bush's mission accomplished claim. No president wants that on their hands. But the last two nights have been the heaviest bombardment of we have offered up from the United States military in Iran. And yet the psyop of negativity that comes from the mainstream media is so out of control. They are making claims that are not based in fact, they are not based in reality, and quite frankly, they are designed to scare you. And again, young people, listen to this. Now that we're having conversations about sending
Ron Chapman
us men and women into a draft,
Grant Stinchfield
people out there check in on the suns in particular in your life. I'm hearing people worry about a draft
Michael Quinn Sullivan
I'm hearing is leaving Americans with a lot of totally legitimate questions, like are we going to have a draft?
Grant Stinchfield
A draft. How dumb are these people? The reality is, I don't think they're dumb. I think they're devious. And what they're trying to do is scare their base into thinking somehow sons and daughters would be scooped up to go fight in Iran. This is not going to happen. So besides my discussions with Pentagon officials, I had discussions this morning with senior officials inside the White House and every single one of them told me they have never heard President Trump once mention a draft. They have not heard anyone inside the White House mention the possibility of a draft. Now why? We have a military that is 2 million people strong. It is an all volunteer army. And by the way, recruitment is through the roof since President Trump has taken over. Why would you need to draft anybody? And by the way, the State of warfare has changed and it is rapidly changing due to technology. The future of war is not, in my belief, ever going to need a draft in the United States of America. These people know this. Especially with the expanding use of, of AI and technology we could have only dreamed of. This is an admiral with centcom. Listen. First, our war fighters are leveraging a variety of advanced AI tools. These systems help us sift through vast amounts of data in seconds so our leaders can cut through the noise and make smarter decisions faster than the enemy can react. Humans will always make final decisions on what to shoot and what not to shoot and when to shoot. But advanced AI tools can turn processes that used to take hours and sometimes even days into seconds. You know, it's pretty amazing because AI has changed not only our lives, but it's changed the face of the battlefield. Now over 5,000 targets have been hit, many with the use of AI. You heard him talk about the speed of decision making process now that it's down to seconds of what targets to hit. This is one reason why we are winning. I want to bring in now former JAG officer, federal criminal defense attorney Ron Chapman is with us. Ron, welcome to the program.
Ron Chapman
Thanks for having me.
Grant Stinchfield
Ron, since you were in the service, how has technology changed the face of warfare today? And I imagine that technology is being used in Iraq as, as much speak in Iran as we speak.
Ron Chapman
Yeah, I think a fantastic segue here. So, so let's just break it down for the audience how targeting works. Back when I was in Afghanistan, if somebody wanted to hit a target, the first thing that they would do is nominate it. So you got somebody out there in the field, a Marine, he spots something, he wants the aircraft to take it out. That nomination process can take a long time or it can happen very quickly. But then the commanders, the lawyers, everybody gets together and that target package goes up the chain of command and, and the general, Colonel, whoever happens to be the stop on the chain of command that is at the approval level for that package, they then authorize the strike. Now, you just said earlier 5,000 targets have been hit. There is absolutely no way that in the span of time that took, you would have 5,000 nomination packages successfully put up the chain of command if people were doing it. Which is where we get to the AI debate. Anthropic. The AI source that was used for a lot of these targets has had a recent spat with the Department of War over that nomination process and who is in the loop and what decisions they're making. And there's been some Very troubling information that's come out as a result.
Grant Stinchfield
So to review for people at home, Anthropic, the AI company, they're saying, hey, we don't want our AI used in autonomous weapons systems. And the United States says we're going to use AI however we want to as long as it's within the bounds of the law. Now a lawsuit ensues and that's unfolding. So you just mentioned that there are some troubling things at play that have come out. Can you, can you fill us in on them?
Ron Chapman
Yeah, yeah. So honestly, if you look at the reporting related to Anthropic and the Department of War, I think both of them have been somewhat incorrect about the level of the dispute here. First things first, Anthropic's demand was twofold. First, we don't want mass domestic surveillance happening. And second, if there is a target that struck, we want to be able to object for whatever ethical reasons we have now. Rightly so. The Department of War says if we use your technology, we make the decisions. And I somewhat agree with that. Right. If we, if we use the technology, if Anthropic is giving it to us, we don't want some Anthropic employee saying what targets we can hit. I got to give it to them there. But there's this other part, the human in the loop part. The Department of War sought authorization to engage targets without having a specific human sign off on those targets. That gets us to a worst case scenario when it comes to war. You could have a situation where one side triggers the, the loop of the United States in order to get these, these bots to fire on certain targets. And that causes an immediate reaction from let's say China or some other entity where we then out global war because we both triggered our bots and there was no human in the loop to stop it. That's what Anthropic is saying we don't want to happen. And that's really where the debate is right now. So what we have to trust right now is that our Department of War.
Grant Stinchfield
Ron, hold on one sec, hold on one second because I just want to interrupt here. I actually believe that the Pentagon under the direction of Secretary of War Hagseth would not allow a bunch of robots to put us at war with China. And this gets back to the age old argument which is better humans or robots? And by and large, my audience may be upset to hear this, but by and large robots are far better than humans at many things like this. I'm going to tell you right now, an Uber driver that's a driverless car by Waymo probably is going to get in less accidents than the human Uber driver is. Now, I know people don't want to hear that, but I think Anthropic used this argument you're making to sway some other things, because it seems to me to be a very woke company, and some of that woke ideology is trying to be infected into the Pentagon. They use your argument because, believe me, it is. You know, it's a valid argument, and everyone can see this argument as AI is playing out. But I think we have to balance here. What's the real reality of that happening? Or is Anthra Anthropic trying to play us as they fight with the Pentagon?
Ron Chapman
You know, listen, I read through the lawsuit and I researched very hard to figure out exactly what the truth was there. And here's where it lies. The Pentagon has not removed a human from the loop. And I think you're absolutely right about Hegseth. It's not what he wants. But here's the thing. There's an arms race going on right now, and the entity that decides to put the robots in the driver's seat is going to be the army or military that has the ability to respond quickest, which means we have an arms race where we may be pushed to do things we don't want want to. But the question isn't whether or not there's a human in the loop. The question is at what stage is the human in the loop, and do they have enough information to effectively stop a bad decision from happening before it happens? 5,000 targets need to be analyzed. There's no way a real human is assessing every single one of those. They may be lumping some of these targets together. There may be assumptions that are made based on the logic of robots. It's like submitting a term paper without fully checking the citations to ensure they're accurate. That's the problem that we have with AI and warfare right now.
Grant Stinchfield
Look, these are legitimate concerns. And the exact conversation that you and I are having, Ron, is, I would hope, the same conversation that they're having inside the Pentagon because we don't want to lose control of our army to a bunch of AI bots. That would be the worst thing that could happen. But we have to utilize it as much as possible so we're not getting beat by enemies who are. But, boy, we are we moving into treacherous territory when it comes to all this stuff. Yeah, fascinating. And also, you know, maybe helpful in the end as well. Ron. Chapman, great stuff. I appreciate you coming on tonight.
Ron Chapman
Thanks for having me. Appreciate it.
Grant Stinchfield
Absolutely. Absolutely. Interesting, interesting topic. Real quick, I do want to say there were three ships in the Straits of Hormuz that were hit with either drones or missiles. That is a problem that's going to make people very uneasy about moving international supply through the Straits of Hormuz. President Trump says we're getting ready to have the United States Navy step in. Jack Keane, analyst, former general for Fox, says we're not quite there yet.
Bobby Bones
The commander of Central Command has got
Grant Stinchfield
has it as a task and he's deliberately working to eliminate the potential of
Bobby Bones
those offensive weapons interfering with escort operations
Grant Stinchfield
in the Straits of Hormuz. We're likely not going to begin that task of escorting tankers through until that threat is removed. But I think about the same time
Bobby Bones
the war will be ending in any event.
Grant Stinchfield
So it sounds to me like we'll get to that point very quickly. President Trump says they've taken out something like 20 something mine laying boats. That is huge. And as the days go on, Iran's ability to take out some of these ships in these shipping lanes, commercial freighters is going to be limited. That's when the Navy steps in and we will get back to normal. Now the threat from Iran is very real. I call it from sleeper cells. We just saw another attack on a US Embassy in Norway in Oslo. Three brothers have been arrested for setting off a bomb outside the embassy. Thankfully nobody was injured there. Now this comes after the improvised explosive device attack in New York City where two men threw these IED makeshift bombs at anti Muslim protesters. But again, the media doesn't want you to believe that they would go after anti Muslim protesters. They somehow want you to believe that Mayor mom Donnie was targeted when he was not. Not only was he not even in Gracie Mansion, but he wasn't anywhere near Gracie Mansion. This is Abby Phillips on cnn. Two Republicans say Muslims don't belong here after an attempted terror attack against New York's Mayor Zoran Mamdani. And the House Speaker Mike Johnson says nothing really to condemn those comments after attack against mom Donnie wasn't it at all. That's a flat out fabrication lie. She claims that she's sorry and it was a mistake. But I don't believe it was a mistake. I don't believe it was by accident because on the same network you had Anna Navarro spewing the same kind of falsity.
Kristen Davis
Some of these comments are as a result of the attempt against against Mayor
Grant Stinchfield
Mandani in New York who was raised Muslim was he not himself.
Kristen Davis
So. So they're being anti Muslim.
Grant Stinchfield
Attack against Mayor Mandani. They threw the bombs at the anti Muslim protesters across the street. Come on now, think about this and that attack. Brave New York City police officers chase down the attackers, tackle them to the ground, get them into custody. And maybe even more brave are the police officers that run towards these makeshift bombs and gets everybody away from them when they don't know they could explode at any moment. And instead of Mamnani inviting them for a heroic ceremony, he invites. Look at this picture. Mahmoud Khalil. You may remember this clown. This is the guy who's a pro Palestin, pro Hamas, pro terrorist activist here in the United States and spouting his mouth off about how much he hates the Jews and how much he loves everything that Hamas is doing, killing them. He gets invited to dinner at Gracie Mansion after this attack. Not the cops. That was not left. Left on James Gagliano, former FBI agent. Yeah, and the other night, instead of hosting the two star police chief who leaped over the barricades and ran this guy down, who had thrown the bomb, the mayor decides at Gracie Mansion to host Mahmoud Khalil. I mean, he's sending such a awful, awful message here to the rank and fil. The reality is Joe Biden put us in this position with his open border policies. We have no idea how many of these people may actually be in this country. James Lankford, the senator from Oklahoma, the Trump administration has arrested and deported almost
Michael Quinn Sullivan
50,000 of those 70,000.
Grant Stinchfield
But we still have 20,000 people that even the Biden administration, when they cross
Bobby Bones
the border is said they may be
Grant Stinchfield
terrorists, they may not be.
Ron Chapman
They come from one of those areas,
Grant Stinchfield
but we just have no information. But they just let them in anyway. It takes one to kill dozens, if not hundreds of Americans. One. And there's tens of thousands of them here. I want to bring you in now to discuss this. Founder and president of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, Sheriff Richard Mack is back with us. Sheriff, great to have you back on the program.
Sheriff Richard Mack
Thanks, Grant. It's great to be on the Stitchfield Show. Appreciate being back with you.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, it's good to see you, Sheriff. Let me start from the beginning. First off, your response that Mayor Mamdani in New York doesn't celebrate the heroic police officers in that attack, but instead he invites in a terrorist sympathizer at best.
Sheriff Richard Mack
Well, I guess that's what New York gets for electing a communist. Completely contrary to our Constitution and our American constitutional republic. I think that Mandani has shown in just the first few weeks of being in office that everything we feared about him was going. Is going to happen and is happening under his leadership or lack thereof. And he's pretty scary. And I love New York and I would love to go back to New York, but he's making me worry about going back. And I don't know if I would dare take my grandkids back to Broadway while he's there pissing off all the police and having no idea what he's supposed to be doing as mayor.
Grant Stinchfield
Sheriff, I think an even bigger question is not whether you would go back to New York City. And I'm with you. I think it's a disaster. And I grew up in and around New York City. But the question is, would you recommend a police officer go serve for the New York City Police Department? I think they're in more danger from an Alvin Bragg than they are from. From some gang banger in the South Bronx.
Sheriff Richard Mack
Well, you're absolutely correct. I mean, it gets worse as you. As you go from the mayor to the county attorney. And it's that that makes it all the scarier. The men and women of New York PD do not have confidence in the county attorney, and they don't have it in the mayor. And hundreds of them, if not thousands, have left to go to Florida and other places where states and governors and mayors and the people respect and love the police and have their backs.
Grant Stinchfield
Sheriff, real quick, I want to talk about the possibility of sleeper cells, because I know this is a topic that you've been sounding the alarm on. Hakeem Jeffries, the minority leader in the House of Representatives, says this is no big deal. I want you to listen to this. With the DHS shutdown, keeping Americans safe, roll cut 17.
Bobby Bones
So the president saying that Americans are
Grant Stinchfield
being endangered because the Department of Homeland
Bobby Bones
Security cannot go after Iranian sleeper cells. What's your response to that?
Grant Stinchfield
Well, the president's lying to the American people. He's fear mongering, and he knows that. Is the president fear mongering. Sheriff Mack,
Sheriff Richard Mack
it would take anybody with half a brain would know if you open the borders, who's going to come in, who's going to come in? And indeed, the cartels have cooperated with and joined with the cartels in making sure that they could come into Mexico and. And then come into the United States. We know they've come here. The training all over the world that our sheriffs and police are attending shows that they are here. Tens of thousands. I would the training I've seen. There's over 100,000 terrorists in our country from the Middle east that have infiltrated our country. The threat, the biggest threat, is not that they're going to start shooting us, but that they're going to attack our grid, our water supply, our Internet and our communications. And that is coming. And we, we need all of the people in this country to contact their sheriff's offices and make sure they up the patrols and security for power plants. Every place, every county, every place that we have them, they need protection and, and double or triple the patrols on our power plants nationwide.
Grant Stinchfield
They sure do. Sheriff. We've been sounding the alarm on the power grid for a long time about how vulnerable it is, not just from a traditional attack like that, but also from cyber attacks. We've got Chinese equipment in many of these power plant facilities. It's a disaster. Sheriff Richard Mack, always great to see you. Thank you for coming on. I'm going to tell people how they can find your website@cspoa.org we appreciate you coming on the program. All right, folks, coming up next, we're going to talk a little bit about some hostages that are being held overseas. But before we do that, America is focused on strengthening domestic energy production and securing reliable resources for the future. One company working in that direction is Lost Soldier Oil and Gas. After decades of geological research and land assembly, Lost Soldier has developed a large natural gas project spanning approximately 40,000 acres in Wyoming's Rocky Mountain region. Independent engineering evaluations estimate the property contains significant natural gas resources, positioning it as a meaningful domestic energy opportunity. Lost Soldiers development plan includes a multi well drilling program designed to responsibly increase production over time using proven technologies. Growing demand from industries such as power generation, manufacturing and emerging data infrastructure continues to drive the need for reliable, cleaner burning natural gas. The company is led by an experienced management team with a long history of energy development and public markets. To learn more about Lost Soldier Oil and Gas and their energy project, visit lostsoldier.com or scan the QR code on your screen that you see there. That's the lost soldier.com all right. In 2022, an American citizen was kidnapped by the Taliban and the Trump administration is working to set him free. We will talk to his brother next. And that hostage is not alone. In Afghanistan,

Welcome back everyone. You know it is very disturbing to me that across this globe we have many Americans being held hostage by ill actors and I mean countries that really are our enemies. Marco Rubio talked about this this week.
Ron Chapman
Let me just say today we honor
Grant Stinchfield
those who are still waiting. It celebrates those who returned and it remembers those whose homecoming came sadly and
Ron Chapman
tragically in a different way.
Grant Stinchfield
But our mission, even as we remember and honor those from the past, our
Philip Patrick
mission is forward looking.
Grant Stinchfield
We believe in homecomings. We work for homecomings. And under the President's leadership, we will not stop until every single unjustly detained American is brought home. All right, the State Department has now called out Afghanistan for this, specifically labeling them as a nation that holds American hostages. I want you to look at this gentleman, Dennis Coyle. Dennis Coyle was an academic who is being held in Afghanistan. He's been visited by Qatari, so we know he is alive. Another American. We're not so sure of his fate in Afghanistan. That would be Paul Overby, a journalist who was believed to have interviewed the leader of the Haqqani terrorist network in Afghanistan. There is thoughts that they killed him and he is not alive. There's another gentleman by the name of Paul Jackson. Not sure of his situation there. Details are sketchy. And the last I want to tell you about is Mahmoud, Mahmoud Habibi. Mahmoud Habibi was a translator for the United States during the Afghan War. He went on to lead civil aviation for the United States, ultimately getting his American civil rights citizenship because of how much he helped Americans there. Well, apparently when we killed Amon Al Zahari, a brutal terrorist who deserved to die, the Taliban went in and scooped up Mahmoud Habibi and they are not admitting they have him and we don't know where he is. Well, with me now to discuss this is the brother of Mahmoud Habibi, who was taken hostage by the Taliban. As I mentioned, Ahmed Habibi, who was also very helpful to American forces in Afghanistan, is with us. Ahmed, welcome to the program.
Ahmed Habibi
Thank you, Grant, for having me.
Sheriff Richard Mack
Sir.
Grant Stinchfield
You know, I'm sorry about what's happening with your brother. What can you tell us? Is there any indications of where he might be? If he's alive? Has anyone seen him?
Ahmed Habibi
Of course, we are sure that he's alive. And the Taliban's are holding him still. It's been more than three and a half years that since he taken, he was taken by the gdi. They are the intelligence department of the, of the Taliban in August of 2022. And since then they are holding them my brother like it's been three and a half years. But they did not allow us to talk to him, they did not allow us to meet him and they are not acknowledging that they have him, even though there are overwhelming proofs that the US Government has that they have him. And there are witness testimonies from the US like the US Government have them. That, that, that proves that the Taliban have him, but they keep denying that they have him.
Grant Stinchfield
All right. The Trump administration I know, takes us very seriously. I'm very good friends with Sebastian Gorko. We work together on, on many levels. I know you just met him. He is in the Trump White House specifically overseeing a lot of this. When it comes to American hostage hostages. Do you feel like you're getting some action from the Trump administration, comparatively speaking to the Biden administration? Ahmed?
Ahmed Habibi
Yes, Trump administration is great. Dr. Gorka is a very good person. I met him two days ago and he's doing everything to bring my brother home. He's a nice person and I have faith on him and on Trump's administration. Speha is also working on this my brother's case. And they're very good people. They are doing everything to bring my brother home. Unlike Biden's administration, they were very soft on the Taliban like in the previous administration. We keep telling them that they need to press the Taliban to have them admit that they have my brother. However, they did not listen to us and they did not press them enough so they could acknowledge my brother, even though they had evidences that they took my brother and they had technical data. They had witnessed testimonies too, but they did not use them to press the Taliban. But Trump administration, they are good. They're using sticks and we think that that's helping. And at some point the Taliban will acknowledge my Brother, and they will eventually release him.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, Ahmed, clearly you and your brother love America. You were so helpful to American forces when we were in Afghanistan. You both become American citizens. He stays behind to lead up civil aviation in Afghanistan. Was he not concerned that once the Taliban knew that he was a translator and he had worked for American forces there, that he would be a target to be scooped up
Ahmed Habibi
when he was taken? When the Taliban regime came to Afghanistan, he was working for a private company called ARX or ACG in Afghanistan. So he was working at the aviation sector. Well, when the Taliban announced that they have nothing to do with
Michael Quinn Sullivan
the people
Ahmed Habibi
who supported the US Government or who worked with the US Government or who worked for the Afghan government, we have nothing to do with them, and they are safe in Afghanistan. So unfortunately, he trusted them. And then he just stayed there and tried to work there. So he was going back and forth. He was coming to the US and going to Afghanistan. But unfortunately, he was taken after one year when the Taliban came to the government.
Grant Stinchfield
Clearly, the Taliban can't be trusted. There's still bad actors in the region, Ahmed. You know, and I'm told America still is giving millions, if not billions of dollars to Afghanistan controlled by the Taliban right now. That has to be tremendously frustrating.
Public Investing Platform Announcer
Of course.
Ahmed Habibi
Well, the CIA is not doing the right thing. They have given, giving them the Taliban like $40 million every week. And they're supporting the same. They're giving the same agency who took my brother, the gdi. They are the intelligence of the Taliban. So the CIA, they could use that, that money that they give to the Taliban. They could use that as a leverage, and they could just ask them to release my brother. If they, if the CIA would try, my brother would be home today.
Sheriff Richard Mack
So.
Ahmed Habibi
But unfortunately, they did not. And, and the money that they've been giving to the Taliban, I don't know why they're still funding them when they are keeping the American hostages with them.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, that would be something I would be pushing for, and I will push for it on a big level, is to cut funding and especially use that as a bargaining tool to get your brother back. Lastly, Ahmed Habibi, what is the message that you would want the Trump administration to hear? I'll specifically say President Trump and Marco Rubio or Secretary of State, if they're listening to you today, your message to them?
Ahmed Habibi
Well, I have faith on President Trump, Marco Rubio and Dr. Gorka and the whole SPEHA team. So they're doing the right thing, and I wish them success in bringing all The Americans, my brother, and all Americans home.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, Ahmed, on behalf of me and Stitchfield's army, I appreciate the work that you did for America and doing your best to keep American soldiers safe over there. Same goes for your brother and Godspeed in getting him home. Please keep us posted. If there's anything we can do to help, you let us know about it.
Ahmed Habibi
Of course. Thanks, Grant, for having me here.
Grant Stinchfield
Absolutely. Ahmed Habibi, thank you so much for coming on. And look, folks, this is not just Afghanistan. This is all across this globe, we have Americans who are being held hostage and nobody's talking about them. And again, I tell you, we got them out of Venezuela. We're going to keep fighting everywhere we can, everywhere we go to get Americans home. All right. After Ken Paxton, the Attorney General in Texas, forced his hand. Senator in Texas, John Cornyn, who he's running against. Cornyn is now talking tough on the Save America Act. Oh, I can't wait to hear this. But first, just a quick reminder. Davis from Are you a Charlotte Podcast? I just had the most epic girls day cruising around LA with my friend Heather Graham and thanks to Hyundai we even recorded a special episode for you. Yes, I have a good 90s story of Fred Siegel. What I saw Alanis Morris at the one time. It was so exciting. I was with my girlfriend Melanie.
Grant Stinchfield
She saw you so that's like good.
Kristen Davis
She was very it was like the height of Alanis time and she was with this beautiful man and I had a golden retriever puppy and the beautiful man wanted to say hi to the golden retriever puppy. We were eating at that little cafe there at the Santa Monica one and Alanis hung back in a way that made me wonder what was happening. Like who wouldn't want to pet this beautiful puppy. I was like, oh my God, it's Alanis. And then I was like, try to breathe, try to breathe, try to breathe because I love her so much. My new episode is out now, presented by the all new Hyundai Palisade hybrid Make Every Day Epic.

Foreign. Welcome back, everyone. So I'm doing everything in my respectful power to keep President Trump from endorsing John Cornyn, and he hasn't done it yet. So I think the push is working here. Look at what John Cornyn tweeted out today. This is a quote in the New York Post. I support whatever changes to Senate rules that may prove necessary for us to to get the Save America act and Homeland Security funding past the Democrats. Obstruction. This could be a talking filibuster. So he supports this now because all the while he didn't support it. But you know, this is all about politics. And then Ken Paxton forced him into this position while NBC asked him about it. We said that nuking the filibuster would
Bobby Bones
be taking a wrecking ball to Senate rules.
Grant Stinchfield
Is that no longer true?
Michael Quinn Sullivan
I said I'd be open to reforms.
Grant Stinchfield
What would you say to those who say you just change your mind to win the president's endorsement?
Sheriff Richard Mack
I'd say that's not true.
Grant Stinchfield
You also said that it's leaders. I think we're through.
Sheriff Richard Mack
Go ahead.
Ron Chapman
Go away.
Grant Stinchfield
Thank you. It's the worst way to react to questions. Those are legitimate questions that voters want to know. And you hold up your hand to the camera and say, go away like you're a little fly, annoying me. That is the arrogance of the establishment that I cannot stand. It's the first time I saw that clip, and it makes me even angrier than I already am about all of this. I want to bring in now the publisher for Texas Scorecard, Michael Quinn Sullivan, is with us. Mqs. Welcome back.
Michael Quinn Sullivan
Hey, Grant. Great to be with you, my friend.
Grant Stinchfield
Does that make you just as mad as I am holding up his hand? Go away from my. Go away from me.
Michael Quinn Sullivan
Yeah, you know, it'd be one thing if this were an antagonistic reporter playing the little gotcha game. Look, the young lady sounded very respectful. She's asking very clear questions, questions that a lot of us have for years. John Cornyn, look, you can agree, disagree, but the fact is he has opposed these kinds of reforms to the filibuster. The fact that he is now at this moment taking a different position should bear some conversation. Look, I'm all for people changing their minds coming over to my position. I'm all for people admitting that in the past they were wrong and now they want to be right. That's great. We love giving people second chances. But I think that when you're in election season, particularly a tightly contested election season, the voters deserve to know what's motivating this change. Is this a permanent change or is it only a change of convenience?
Grant Stinchfield
You know, I think he's so mad, angry at. Not really just Ken Paxton. I'm sure he's mad at Paxton. I think he's so mad at the voters. He has such a disdain for grassroots Texans. How dare they vote against this guy who's been made the king a long time ago and he's pissed about it. Michael, look.
Michael Quinn Sullivan
I mean, he is still stinging from, I GUESS it's now four or five years ago when there was 20 minutes of sustained booing from the 15,000 delegates to the Republican state convention when he came up. That was after he had made some deals with Democrats on red flag laws. Look again. You can have an honest debate about these issues, but you do have to be prepared for the. For what your voters have to say about. And the voters didn't like it. Look again, I'm all for politicians going from a bad position to a good position. They do have to recognize that for the rest of us, for the common people, we would just like to understand their rationale because he made a strong point for a long time about opposing changes to the filibuster, sometimes persuasively to folks. Now that he's taking a different position, he should be willing to defend it.
Grant Stinchfield
Yeah, well, the reason he's doing is because it's about self interest over national interest, which is literally how he governs his entire life. Self interest over national interest. Michael, I'm gonna ask you to help me here. So we have some older folks who watch this many Texans, they fall in corn and camp just because they've been there a long time and corn has been around and they're maybe not as involved as you and me. To see all of the importance of this, can you give your best argument as to why someone like that who just didn't understand corn and why are we so upset about him, of why they should give Ken Paxton a chance?
Michael Quinn Sullivan
Look, you and I and everyone should set personalities to the side as much as humanly possible. We need to think of ourselves as being the hiring managers for a corporation we are on the committee to save the Republic. And our job is to hire men and women to do the various jobs that will save the Republic. Which means every time we have a hiring season, every time that we're looking at the candidates, we shouldn't simply do what we've always done, because maybe what we've always done is why we're in the position we're in today. The worst thing that we can do is put on our, you know, Team Paxton shirt, our team corn and shirt, and say, never again shall I change shirts until God removes it from my body. That's not the system of government our founding fathers gave us. Our founding fathers gave us a system in which you and I and our 30 million fellow Texans take a look at these candidates with clear eyes. We're not hiring our best friend. We're not promoting someone who's going to be our pastor. We're not asking for someone to walk our dog. No, we're hiring someone to go to the United States Senate for a six year term and do a very specific thing. And in that regard, we should all be willing to take a fresh look with fresh eyes at the candidates of force. Today is a different day than it was in 2002 when John Cornyn was first elected to the United States Senate. You need to make sure if you're going to vote for John Cornyn or you're going to vote for Ken Paxton, you need to make sure you're doing so not because you always have, but because you believe that John Cornyn or Ken Paxton is going to be the best person to save the Republic.
Grant Stinchfield
Well, what great advice. Michael Quinn, Sullivan, Texas Scorecard. It's always great having you on the program. Thank you for that.
Michael Quinn Sullivan
Thank you, Grant.
Grant Stinchfield
You know, MQS just said something interesting. We're not hiring our pastor. This is not an interview for who's going to be your minister. It's about who's going to be the best fighter to go up there to the United States Senate and fight for us. Okay, up next, how is Operation Epic Fury affecting the price of gold? We will talk about that next.

Get an update on where the price of gold is because gold is a great barometer of everything going on in the world and we have a lot going on in the world. I'm going to bring in now precious metals specialist for Birch Gold. Philip Patrick is with us. Philip, welcome back. All right, Philip, what is your assessment over the last couple weeks since we last talked now with everything going on?
Philip Patrick
Iran, listen, it's things are getting hectic. We're seeing oil prices obviously skyrocket. We hit briefly $100 a barrel over the weekend, back down to $90 a barrel today. So heading in the right direction. But we have to remember a couple of weeks ago, $60 a barrel. So we're up 50% from where we were a few weeks ago. I think the key thing here is how drawn out this is going to be. Any extended action in Middle East I think will drive oil prices up longer term. And we have to remember oil is the most inflationary commodity. It's not just what you fill your car up with. It's used in transportation, manufacturing and ultimately everyday goods. So if we cannot get a handle on higher oil prices, it's going to fuel inflation and cause problems domestically.
Sheriff Richard Mack
All right.
Grant Stinchfield
And that would then be a safe haven. To put your money would be to put it back into gold. I say cash is trash and gold really is the place to be. Philip?
Philip Patrick
Yeah, cash is trash is absolutely correct. I mean anybody sitting in sort of fixed interest rate products in any currency in this climate broadly is losing to inflation. We've been talking for a while about the fundamentals supporting gold. It's de dollarization, it's inflation, it's global instability. The more instability we see, the more it plays into gold prices. So we're seeing movement. Gold's around 5150, silver's around $85. Investment banks are now rapidly raising predictions. Goldman Sachs, I think say 6,300 for gold prices by the end of the year. So I'm telling people, don't look at the price of gold, look at what's driving its price. And the fundamentals today are stronger than ever.
Grant Stinchfield
All right, let me tell people how they can get with you and your folks over at Birch Gold. Philip Patrick, always great having you on. Just text America to the number 989-898. Do it today. Text America to the number 989-898. Get your free info kit on Gold. President Trump is just about to get on Air Force One. We will go out to him. That's next.

Hello.
President Donald Trump
A level that nobody's seen before. It's pretty, it's pretty amazing to watch
Kristen Davis
a timeline on when you're planning to
Grant Stinchfield
tap the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. A timeline of when that could happen.
President Donald Trump
Be doing it very quickly and then we'll fill it up. We'll fill up our reserves. You know, if you remember, I filled them up and then I had a deal to go at the highest level, a level that's never been and Schumer and the Democrats for $25 and it was turned down. You remember that Peter? Almost before your time, but not quite, but it was. We had a deal at $25. Think of that, $25 a barrel. And the Democrats turned it down. We were going to fill. We're going to tap it out like it's never been. But they turned that down and now it's a lot higher.
Grant Stinchfield
Are you considering having the U.S. treasury
Kristen Davis
Department buy oil futures as a means to keep the oil prices down or
Bobby Bones
bring the oil down?
President Donald Trump
We're going to be in very good shape. You see what's happening. They are pretty much at the end of the line. Doesn't mean we're going to end it immediately, but they are. They've got no navy, they've got no air force, they've got no anti air traffic anything. They have no systems of control. We're just riding free range over that country. And now we're going to look very strongly at the Straits. The Straits are in great shape. We've knocked out all of their boats. They have some missiles but not very many. I think we're in very good. We're in very good shape. The main thing is we have to win this. They win it quickly but win it. And there are many people. I'm just watching some of the news. Most people say it's already been won. It's just a question of when. When do we stop? We don't want to let it regrow and ideally would like to see somebody in there that knows what they're doing. In other words, they can build a country. Now one other thing, we can hit sections of Tehran and other places that if you do it, it'll be almost impossible for them to rebuild their country and we don't want that. But we can hit electric. We could take apart their electric capacity within one hour and it would take them 25 years to rebuild it. So ideally we're not going to be doing that.
Michael Quinn Sullivan
Thank you very much.
President Donald Trump
Very much everybody.
Grant Stinchfield
Thanks for the question, Mr. President. Timeline still four weeks. All right, we're back in a flash. That's the boss.

This episode of Stinchfield Tonight dives deeply into the ongoing war in Iran, the role of AI in modern warfare, concerns about military drafts, domestic security threats, and the plight of American hostages overseas. Grant Stinchfield and his guests offer unapologetically conservative perspectives, provide updates from both Pentagon and White House sources, and scrutinize mainstream media narratives and current political leadership. The second half discusses domestic security issues, political races in Texas, and the impact of global conflict on energy and precious metals markets.
