Honored to be with you all. I am back in Phoenix after a weekend away in Palm Beach. However, Blake Neff is still in West Palm, so he's joining us. Remote. Hey, Blake.
Blake Neff
Howdy, Andrew.
Charlie Kirk
Good to see you. It was.
Blake Neff
We had a great weekend here.
Charlie Kirk
We had an amazing weekend. I just. I got to give so many kudos and props to the Turning Point team, the galas. This was Charlie's super bowl weekend. He loved it. It was probably the most hyped you would see Charlie, except for maybe AM Fest or Student Action Summit. But, I mean, he really, really focused in and got dialed in for these for our galas that we do at Mar A Lago. It was an amazing, amazing weekend, and it was special. And, Blake, I know you can speak to this as well. You know, this was the first time we did this without Charlie. And the response and the reaction from some of Turning Point's biggest supporters was truly remarkable. And it meant a lot to us. I know it meant a lot to Erica and the team. Everybody stepped up. Everybody chipped in and played a role and did their part. And. And it was. It was great to see and really heartwarming to see because you never. You never know what you're gonna get after something like this. But to see, you know, our friends and family, the wider Turning Point family rally behind the organization was. Was something to see.
Blake Neff
It was. It was. It was. We have. You had hundreds of people, people who had known Charlie for years, people who'd never met Charlie, people who were motivated to come out because of the tragedy this fall, but he'd still deeply inspired them. We heard accounts. I was talking to someone who said he'd started. He'd modeled his entire professional life off of following Charlie. He was much older than Charlie, but he said, you know, I worked really hard. But then when Charlie came around and said, actually, I'm doing a Sabbath now, he adopted the same thing. He said it transformed his life. And so over and over, we were meeting people whom Charlie had moved to deeper faith, to deeper involvement, deeper patriotism, deeper concern for their country. And it was really incredible to see them all come together to remember him, to testify about him, and to continue the mission forward onward, as Charlie would say.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, you know, I. So every year is a little bit different at these gallows. And I will tell you two things. You kind of inspired two. Two thoughts. One was that I. I couldn't get past people that would just come up to me and they would just start crying or get emotional about what Charlie had meant to them. And two, how many first timers we had, because, you know, this is an annual event, and so you get a lot of repeat people. There was so many first timers that had been moved to come and join us at Mar a Lago. So it was absolutely packed and a beautiful, beautiful testament. Yeah, just. Just to Charlie, but also the work that. That he did, you know, building an institution that, you know, was his. It was his goal, it was his. His wish that it would outlive him. And we obviously thought that he was going to be, you know, 98 before that happened. But we're. We're. We're watching it in real time. And I'm just really. I can't say it enough. I'm just so proud of the team and how they stepped up. We've got lots and lots of other news. But you did mention the book or you mentioned Sabbath. And Charlie's book does come out this week. His last book, Stop in the Name of God. And Erica is doing media to promote Charlie's book. It is. Blake, you know, you know this more intimately than I do. I think this is Charlie's, potentially his, like, the most powerful personal book. Because a lot of the, you know, it was MAGA doctrine, it was the college scam, it was right. Right wing revolution. These were. These were sort of heady books about policy topics or ideological topics. This is a very personal book. It's very different in that way. And, you know, it's terribly tragic that this is the last book we have from Charlie, but in Some ways, now that we know that that's the case, it's really apropos. And it's, I think this, it comes out this week and we, we're going to be repeating that it's coming out this week on the show. And it's a, it's a powerful book. How does this book. Blake, because you were so intimately involved with Charlie's prep for these books, how does this book kind of differ tonally and why is it important?
Blake Neff
Well, it's, as you say, it is so much more personal. When he was deciding, for example, right Wing Revolution, the thought was, okay, what are the issues that matter for America? What should we speak to the most? And you'll know we debated a few different possible topics for a book. And that's what went out versus this was really. It was the book he personally wanted to write about his life. He wanted it as a tribute to Dennis Prager, who'd inspired him to begin practicing the Sabbath himself. And he thought it was a gift he could give to his readers, to his supporters. This is something that can directly enrich your life. There's elements of that in Right Wing Revolution. If you read the back half of that, there's a lot of ways to improve your own personal life. But this is fully dedicated to that. It's directly inspired by his own experience, by far his most personal book. I think you could maybe say the College Scam was his strongest politically related message because he was so emphatic about, you don't need to spend 100, $200,000 to get a degree to succeed. And he was a proof of that himself, and he wanted that message to get out. But this is the most. Just purely personal, and it's his most spiritual book. It's his first directly religious book, and I think that meant a lot to him as well. It was his chance to really dive into the b. Dive into the history of the Jewish and Christian faiths and really explore that. So it's not just that the message was very personal for him. It's also that the process of writing it was a very personal, spiritual, enjoyable endeavor for him. I think it was his, his refuge from a lot of, a lot of annoying things that were, of course, going on in the past year.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, well, absolutely. And you don't have to be somebody of faith to get a lot out of this book. Rest is, is a mandate from God, certainly, but it's good for everybody. And Charl, it was really a mandate, a gift. Gift. No, totally, totally. Well said. But it, it, it, it really will unlock. It's something I've been in in the wake of Charlie's assassination, something I've been personally trying to practice and just to take time, I actually brought my family out to West Palm beach and Palm beach, because I usually don't. Cuz, you know, we got three little kids, so it's hard to travel and you know, it's a work trip so you get distracted. And I was like, you know what? I'm going to do this and I'm going to spend some time with them. And that was a direct reaction to Charlie's instructions. And.
This final gift of this book, so you can get that@45books.com please check it out. I think it's, I just think it's so, it's such a beautiful book and I haven't even read all of it yet and I'm getting so much out of it. I'm learning stuff from Charlie that, you know, we talked a lot about this book and I'm learning stuff in the book that I, that we did not talk about. It's amazing. So the other big news of the day, however, and by the way, that book comes out tomorrow. Start shipping. So please, please, please do check it out. 45books.com Other big news and we can. I'm going to go through the list here, Blake, and we're probably going to center on birthright citizenship because I think it's so huge. It's the sleeping giant of immigration. Birthright citizenship is now going to be heard by the Supreme Court looking like oral arguments at the beginning of 20 by June, most likely. You've got this EU DSA, which is digital Services Act. They have fined elon Musk and X $140 million. We had our gala. We've got Amfest coming up, stopping the name of God. You got this Warner Brothers versus Paramount versus Netflix saga. We're going to bring on Jack Posobuk second half of this hour to discuss. You got the Pope weighing in on Islam. You've got the Democrats major messaging pivot, by the way. It's like Epstein doesn't exist anymore. You know, they're just, they're all on health care. They're all in drug boats. It's very interesting, but it's their, their messaging is scattered, Blake. It's scattered. It's not, it's not focused. They don't know where to go next. Which is actually a good opportunity for us to advance our, our lines, our messaging, our positive lines. So there's all of that. But birthright citizenship we're coming up against the break in this first segment, Blake, but really quickly, why is this so big?
Blake Neff
It's big because this is. It is the core element of the great replacement. What enables it to happen is our courts have allowed it that anyone who comes into this country illegally, as a tourist, as a guest worker, if they have a kid 10 seconds after they cross the border, that person is a US Citizen for life. That is certainly not what was intended by the people who wrote the 14th amendment. It is obviously insane in modern America. And the Trump administration is finally taking the action we should have taken decades ago to say this is not what our law has ever been. And that's very important. And we'll.
Charlie Kirk
We're going to get into it in the next segment. I'm going to break down why I think it's an abomination. Wajahat Ali responded back to me forcefully last night with one of the dumber tweets I've ever seen. Anyways, really quickly, I want to tell you guys about culture and Christianity. The Alan Jackson Podcast. What make, what makes it unique is Pastor Allen's unique biblical perspective. He takes the truth from the Bible and applies it to our everyday life. All right, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show, radio stations across the country. Blake, here's, here's what we're going to get into. We're going to, we're going to explain this birthright citizenship, the dynamics of it, because I think it's really, really important.
There are, in 2023, which is the last year that I have data on, there were between 225,000 and 250,000 babies born to illegal immigrants. They, they believe that this could impact up to 4.3 million retroactively births because remember, Trump did this. And the way they're going to work it out and the way they're going to move forward is TBD, but it could impact up to 4.3 million children. So it's a huge, huge deal. But when we're talking about historical significance and moving forward, that number obviously is going to be even larger. So the language in the 14th amendment was derived from the 1866. Civil Rights Act. So this is again right after the Civil War. The intent was to give citizenship to freed slaves and the children of freed slaves. And the language in that 1866 Civil Rights act from which this was derived said all persons born in the United States and not subject to any foreign power would be considered citizens. Now, this also gets lost in the shuffle. Two Supreme Court cases upheld that the 14th Amendment excluded citizens of foreign countries born in the U.S. the Slaughterhouse Cases in 1872 and Elk v. Wilkins in 1884. Now, birthright proponents like to cite the 1898 Supreme Court case, which was United States vs. Kim Wong or vs. Kim. But they conveniently forget that that case was about Chinese, the child of a Chinese parents that resided in the United States permanently and lawfully. So the big idea here is that the 14th Amendment was intended to give grant citizenship to freed slaves born in America and their children, not to illegals who owe allegiance and are citizens of a foreign country. And here's the key quote, Blake. This is the one that everybody's going to be talk, talking about and arguing around in this, in this Supreme Court oral argument subject to the jurisdiction thereof. And one last point, Blake, before I throw it to you. There is a reason.
That American Indians did not receive citizenship until 1924 with the passage of the Indian Citizenship Act. Now you have to ask yourself why? Why did they not receive citizenship? They were born on American soil, presumably, but this is the key. They were considered to owe allegiance to.
To native sovereignty, to their own, to their own tribal nations. And they were not automatically considered to owe allegiance to the United States. And therefore, it took an extra step, passed by Congress in 1924, the Indian citizenship Act. So if everybody simply born on American soil is automatically a citizen, you have to ask yourself, why not the Native Americans? That's the question. I would like anybody that is a proponent of birthright citizenship for illegals or tourists or whatever to answer me. Blake, over to you. I know you got so that Wong.
Blake Neff
Kim Ark decision from the late 1800s. That's very important because it gets. One of the biggest lies they'll say is that this is settled law. The Supreme Court of the United States has only ever ruled on whether birthright citizenship extends to the children of those legally in the United States and permanently. That's all they ever ruled on, legally and permanently, which his parents were. And they've never ruled on illegal immigrants. They've never ruled on birth tourism. And that is just sort of something that.
Liberals in the US Federal government just asserted lower level. Courts asserted it, and we let them get away with it until it grew into this huge tumor that, that is consuming the United States. As you said, hundreds of thousands of births a year to illegal immigrants. There are millions of people who have citizenship as a result of that. It, among other things, it causes illegal immigrants to receive a huge amount of welfare benefits because even if you're an illegal, if your anchor baby is a US Citizen, you become eligible for food stamps and a whole bunch of other things. And it's all based on this myth. It's based on a myth that it somehow just obviously means anyone born in the US Qualifies. No, that line, subject to the jurisdiction thereof. It means essentially owing allegiance, owing fealty to that nation. It actually, if you dig deep into the roots of it, it derives from legal ideas of like owing loyalty to the king. Could you commit treason against the king? If you are not able to, to commit treason against the United States, then I don't think it makes sense to say that you're subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. Well, and I think I'm hopeful the Supreme Court will rule that way. My biggest fear is they'll try some pragmatic decision where they would just say, oh, well, it would be too disruptive to change the law. I think the actual meaning of the law is extremely clear that this level of birthright citizenship we've had for so many years is not tenable or defensible.
Charlie Kirk
The original drafter of this clause, Senator Jacob M. Howard of Michigan, said in the arguments, this will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, or belong to families, ambassadors, or foreign ministers. Oh, man. Jack Posobic joins us next.

And back home at the White House, President Trump likely keeping an eye on the situation between Thailand and Cambodia as the two sides are accusing each other of breaching a Trump brokered cease fire. Thailand admits to launching airstrikes into Cambodia after fighting broke out in multiple areas along the border between the two countries. President Trump was on hand for the Kuala Lumpur peace accords signing between the two countries just a couple of months ago, during which peace was agreed upon. Meantime, the Trump administration continuing its mass deportations with dozens of Iranians who were in the United States now headed home. Iran's Mehran News Agency says the country's foreign minister is acknowledging that 55 Iranians are being flown home from the United States on what is now the second major deportation flight to the embattled country. The deportations come amid heightened tension between the US And Iran following the bombings of nuclear sites there in Iran, as Well as the 12 day war with Israel back in June. And HAPPENING Today, the U.S. supreme Court is hearing the legality of President Trump firing a member of the Federal Trade Commission. The bigger implication of this case, however, will be the determination of presidential powers to fire members of independence agencies. That's a quick check of your headlines. I'm Terrence Bates.

Jack Posobiec
Dude, we called it. We called the shot last week on Thought Crime. Everybody said, why? Why is Poso going so crazy about Netflix? Why is he. Stranger Things and what does this have to do with everything? What is it all? And I'm sitting there, guys, I'm like, guys, we're doing 40 minutes on Netflix. And everybody was trying to figure this out on Thursday, remember? And then it was Friday, the next day that it was like, boom, Netflix. Let me. Let's just say. Let's just say I may have heard something from my, my little birds that something was in the air regarding the Netflix buyout of Warner Brothers, which would be disastrous. It would put Obama in complete control of some of the most iconic American brands. You're talking DC Comics, you're talking hbo, everything. So Obama aligned Netflix in charge with all them. And we've seen, by the way, what they've done with the pedophile content with cuties, with this, these very strange. Oh, and we talked about at length last week, but this overly sexualized content and LGBT content introduced in Stranger Things. And it's like, guys, we, we got to actually call this stuff out when it's happening. So then all of a sudden, Friday happens. Everybody thinks, oh, my gosh, Netflix is going to buy Warner Brothers. It's done. And even, even, you know, a lot of people who work in the film business are saying that this is really bad because they're going to put movie theaters out of business. We don't want that because we want movie theaters. We want community in America still. It's like America's last public ritual in many ways, like nonreligious, you know, secular ritual.
Charlie Kirk
And.
Jack Posobiec
And then today, boom, you got Paramount in with, you know, and, you know, they're not perfect either, but way better than Netflix. And they come in with this hostile, hostile offer direct to Netflix's shareholders at so. And the key difference is here, Netflix put in 83 billion for their deal. Paramount's coming in at 100 billion.
Charlie Kirk
So it's probably the 100 in the country, 108.4. So it's a bidding war. Paramount attempts hostile offer for Warner Brothers. David Ellison calls Netflix's $82.7 billion deal value and fear an inferior proposal and tells Warner shareholders that his coalition, which, to be clear, includes Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds, they promises 18 billion more in cash. So the question then is, Jack, why do you believe that.
Warner Brothers is opting for an inferior deal with Netflix? Is there an ideological fight happening over this deal?
Jack Posobiec
I mean, there very well could be. You know, there very, very well could be. Look, Zaslav from Warner Brothers has always been tight with a lot of the guys over at Netflix. And look at it. You talk to ideology, right? The ideology that we've seen for so many of these executives is far left. And who is on the board of Netflix right now? Susan Rice. She was there from 2018 to about 2021. Then they signed a huge deal with Barack Obama, Michelle Obama. They're going to be putting their content on Netflix and have continued to put their content. So then Susan Rice leaves. She goes to the Biden administration until about 2023. She comes back to Netflix. And immediately after coming back to Netflix, Susan Rice and Netflix announced what? Oh, another huge expanded deal with the Obama family. This reminds me, by the way, Andrew, very much of the way that the NFL signed their super bowl deal with Jay Z and they gave over the halftime show to Jay Z. And of course, Turning Point USA is very smartly, I think, responding back in kind of there. And so you've got this situation where the audience doesn't want this stuff. The audience doesn't want wokeness. And in fact, we just saw a new study by, by Glad, of all people, I can't believe I'm citing Glad, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance. But they're saying that actually looking, looking forward next year, that LGBT content and characters are going to be moving away from shows that people are moving. We don't want Pete woke anymore. So what we're seeing is this new alliance of the Obamas, the far lefties, Netflix, and a bunch of the lefties, I think, that are currently on the, in the leadership team of the wb, wb, Discovery. And at the end of the day, who's gonna be hurt? It's the average American, you know, the average American who's saying, why is there so much of this woke crap, this LGBT crap in like Looney Tunes and Batman and Superman and just regular TV shows that you want to watch or movies that you want to watch, and you're not interested in any of that political or like gender bending nonsense. That's what this is about.
Charlie Kirk
So it's interesting too, because I remember when, you know, Netflix was really starting to pour money into original programing and they would talk openly about how they were in an arms race with HBO to become the, the streaming version faster than HBO could become Netflix. Basically, they wanted to become HBO faster than HBO could become Netflix. And now you have with this Warner Brothers Discovery deal, basically Netflix, Netflix would acquire hbo. HBO Max will go to the streaming giant and then they, the embattled cable network division. So that's tnt, cnn, notably hgtv, the Food Network and Discovery will be spun out as a separately traded company. So you have, what you have here behind the scenes is an ideological battle because Oracle founder Larry Ellison, it's the sun right. Of Larry Ellison, more conservative leaning. And they're worried about CNN as well. You've gotta imagine that this is part of the calculus. They're worried that Paramount, that the Oracle founders would essentially turn CNN into a more conservative network. Meanwhile, Jack, just this morning you have Trump. Well, it was actually last. Over the weekend you have. Trump was asked about this at the Kennedy center event. Yeah, 116. Let's hear from President Trump here. 116.
Kane
Should they be allowed to buy Warner Brothers should?
Charlie Kirk
Well, that's the question.
Terrence Bates
They have a very big market share.
Charlie Kirk
And when they have Warner Brothers, you know, that share goes up a lot.
Jack Posobiec
So I don't know that's going to.
Charlie Kirk
Be for some economists to tell and also. And I'll be involved in that decision too.
So what's interesting about this is it comes off the heels this morning, Jack of a, another Paramount property, CBS got into President Trump's ire, into his crosshairs.
Jack Posobiec
It may have been a truth social.
Charlie Kirk
It may have been a truth social. Yeah. And he was basically asking, he's saying, yeah, you know, Paramount's not much better. CBS isn't much better. Look at, they still got the 60 minutes on. They're terrible. I want an apology from Leslie Stahl. What is that dynamic? Explain what you think and what you're seeing behind the scenes.
Jack Posobiec
There's, I mean, it's, it's so clear, right? It's so clear what's going on. Because President Trump knows that the administration has huge regulatory authority here. This is something where now obviously the obvious anti problem is if Netflix buys HBO Max, right? So these are two of the biggest streamers and one of the biggest streamers buys the other streamer. It would be like Coke buying Pepsi. And so you would have. This would create a monopoly problem. And Netflix is trying to explain this away. They're saying, no, no, no, you should, you should consider us against all content out there. I mean, look at TikTok, look at, you know, Rumble. They're trying to say that Netflix is comparable to that. And it's just, it's just obviously not true. It's just obviously not true. So it's huge antitrust problem there. Which President Trump, of course, responded to on the floor of the Kennedy center, was on that step and repeat asking that question. But here's what's interesting, is that he comes out this morning popping Paramount saying like, hey, hey, guys, no free ride for you either because I'm going to be watching you guys like a hawk. Because I saw, I mean, I have to look at the timing, but I'm sure that he probably heard that Paramount's hostile deal was coming in. And it also just broke that there was a secret meeting where the head of Netflix actually went over to the White House and they did have a meeting and sat down in the Oval Office that had never been reported. The White House didn't put that out because he was trying to make sure there were no regulatory hurdles. Now President Trump coming in saying, you know what, just because you guys want to come in, I know you got my son in law on board, but guess what? If you want to be there to be no issues with you, I want to see a little bit more fairness when it comes to CBS, when it comes to 60 Minutes, all of this. So, I mean, the ball's really in President Trump's court on a lot of this.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, it's, it's interesting. You're watching the art of the deal play out here where he's, he's applying pressure to both parties. And so they're essentially both in a position where they need to suck up to President Trump, which is, you know, which is probably just where, where the President wants it. And I mean, these are huge stakes. If people are not understanding why we're talking about this deal here on this show, on the Charlie Kirk show, we have to also understand that there's so many of these cultural touch points, these cultural, I guess, seeds for either wokeness or a return to common sense that are planted in at this level. With these long form shows that have become so popular, what kind of ideal ideologies are getting spread and implanted in the narratives and then they filter out into our politics. This kind of stuff, I would argue, is more important than about 98% of the other things we can talk about now. I would put birthright citizenship slightly more ahead of this, but there's very few issues that are truly this important that have such civilizational weight behind them. Blake. I don't know, talking about.
Blake Neff
I just still think it's funny. Everyone says where we get it from.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, go ahead, Blake.
Blake Neff
I just think it's very funny how much people care about tv.
Charlie Kirk
Yes. Because people do. That's the point. That's the point we're making. Whether they do. Yeah.
Jack Posobiec
Just do.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, it's, it's hugely important.
Michael in our studio goes, I care. Yes.
Jack Posobiec
Where does he get their worldview from?
Charlie Kirk
Right.
Jack Posobiec
People aren't going to sit and you talk about birthright citizenship. Right. People aren't sitting around and reading Supreme Court rulings. They're watching Netflix miniseries. Right. But they will, they will watch a Netflix miniseries on it or they will sit down and watch whatever HBO has got on it. So that's why it's important. It's because people, that's where people get their story of the world, their story of who we are, their story of who they are. It's where they get their views on religion. It's where the end, by the way, and studies have shown, go look at Marshall McLuhan talking about this in the 60s, that people have gotten their worldview from mass media since the 1950s on this started with radio, then it moved to television. And today streaming is just the newest iteration of that sort of streaming plus social media. So if you're not paying attention to who's in control of this, then you're not paying attention to who's in control of the minds of the masses. And that's what this is about. Who is in control of the minds of the masses.
Charlie Kirk
Well said. I agree with you. Jack. But Blake, to your point, one of. One of the charming things about Blake is that he's sort of immune for. From this and he's pure. He's not. He's, you know, so I appreciate we. We work in tandem. It works together. We're going to talk about Cinnabon next with Jack Basobuk. Don't go anywhere.
Andrew Colvitt
Run a business. And not thinking about radio, think again. Because more people are listening to the radio and iHeart today than they were 20 years ago. And only iHeart broadcast radio connects with more Americans than TV, digital, social, any other media, even twice as many teens than TikTok. And that reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for your business. Radio's here now more than ever, and iheart's leading the way. Think radio can help your business. Think iheart streaming, podcasting, and radio where the reach is real. Let us show you@iheartadvertising.com that's iheartadvertising.com or call 844-844. Iheart one more time. Just call 844-844-Iheart and get radio working for you.
Charlie Kirk
The voice of generations is the Charlie Kirk Show. All right, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. So before we get to this viral Cinnabon clip, you know, a classic case of, you know, bad white woman, innocent immigrant couple. I just. We are still continuing the debate. Blake, you think that TV is less important than it's ever been. I agree with you on that. Because entertainment is more diffused. Everything is more diffused and fractured, but it's still important.
Blake Neff
There's more. There's more things that competes with the video games, YouTube, live streamers.
Take your pick. But on top of that, the most interesting thing with streaming services is it's reduced the importance of anything new existing. So what's the biggest value out of, say, subscribing to Disney Plus? It's that you can watch every Disney movie ever made. You can watch every Disney TV show ever made, and I think you'll see that. What's the biggest reason Netflix wants to acquire hbo? It's probably a huge library that HBO and Warner Brothers have, and I think that reduces the importance of new shows. Everything that's ever made has to compete with the Sopranos. Everything that's ever made has to compete with the Simpsons. Everything that's ever made has to compete with I Love Lucy, Gone with the Wind, the wizard of Oz, everything that's ever been made, it all is still out there. A lot of it remains popular. I remember at its peak, Netflix. The most common show to watch on Netflix, well after it went off the air was the Office. I think at its peak, about 1% of all Internet traffic in America was people watching the Office. And I think that Jack is correct to say it dictates a lot of what our culture is talking about and thinking about. But it also dictates less and less by the year, which I think we should be grateful for because you don't want everything people think about funneled through a tiny number of choke points controlled by people who are completely insane.
Jack Posobiec
Well, like, I actually, real quick, I just completely agree with you because, like, when's the last time a movie became a classic?
Charlie Kirk
You know what I mean? Let's keep talking about this when we welcome back.
Jack Posobiec
Think about that. Like, like, it's just whatever's new, there's no classics anymore.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah. Well, by the way, the MASH finale, 106 million people tuned in for that. We don't have that kind of stuff anymore. We'll be right back. National radio, more Jack Posob.
All right, welcome back to Charlie Kirk Show. Yeah. Did you guys, I mean, this is the most famous one, obviously. February 28, 1983, the finale of MASH drew 106 million viewers, becoming the most watched single episode in US television history for decades. With a 77% share of the audience. It's like a third of the US Population apparently. Anyway, so this is, this is pretty incredible. We don't have these touch, these cultural touch points anymore in the same way, Jack. But it doesn't mean that these, you know, Stranger Things isn't still massive. Right? It's still, it's still a huge, huge show, you know, but those kind of moments were like Friends finale, the Seinfeld finale. We, we don't have as many of those. I think the last kind of big cultural moment was probably Game of Thrones. If I. That's what I would say.
Jack Posobiec
Breaking Bad finale.
Charlie Kirk
Breaking Bad was big, was pretty big.
Blake Neff
Breaking Big, even though, is so much those mattered a lot to sort of, I guess, the niche elite TV watching public. But they were both on, one was on a cable channel, one was on a subscription special cable channel. So a lot of people watch those, but at the same time, not anywhere near the number who watched Friends, Seinfeld, mash, as you said. And the other thing we were talking about, there's a lack of, of new classics, lack of new classic Films, but also a big flattening of what genres actually take off. So you used to have go check the top 10 grossing films in 1999 and you'll see rom coms, you'll see suspense films. Now the top grossing films are pretty much exclusively big blockbuster franchise films. Your superhero films, your Harry Potter movies, that sort of thing. You. When was the last time a film comedy was a huge deal that everyone in America saw? The Hangover. The hangover came out 15 years ago. People who were born after the Hangover came out will be able to vote soon. And that's another aspect of the way these, these pop culture phenomenal. They still matter as Jack says, but I think they, they mercifully do matter less.
Jack Posobiec
All right, so I mean, I agree but certainly, I mean I, I, that's, this is, this is really good fodder for a thought crime topic actually. But, but I mean either way, right, you know, Netflix and Paramount and Warner Brothers all matter. But to your point, yes, I do think that because the biggest competition, right, that all of these things have that scripted, prepared, formatted, whatever word you want to use for it, content has, is, is actually social media. So the idea that because a YouTuber is just going to make it for free and throw it up on YouTube. So YouTube is a competitor, but I would argue that Netflix is fundamentally different and all of those streamers are a fundamentally different thing than YouTube because YouTube is a user created service. Rumble, of course, which is so much better is a user created service. And so the idea, or like shows like this, so the idea that you know, we're, we're some like, we don't have corporate backing, we don't have some like massive, you know, international multinational conglomerate behind all of us. I know that's what the Internet says, but we actually don't.
Charlie Kirk
Sovereign wealth funds.
Jack Posobiec
Yeah, yeah, exactly right. And so, so it's so much cheaper. The ROI is so much higher than. Because of that we are able to do more, we're able to more nimble. And that's. It's new media, right. It's basically sort of like an extension of the new media old media fight.
Charlie Kirk
All right, hold on, I got it. I got to get to it because I promise the audience I got to play this Cinnabon viral clip here real quick. 141, 141. I am racist.
Kane
You are idiot racist.
Will Chamberlain
And I'll say that to the whole entire world.
Kane
Don't be dis.
Andrew Colvitt
You like life, by the way.
Charlie Kirk
Oh, talking about, you're talking about respect. You're talking about respect.
Kane
You are fired from this place.
Charlie Kirk
You're not gonna be working here. Suck it. Suck what?
Blake Neff
Look how you look like. What's wrong with you?
Charlie Kirk
What the is wrong with you?
Terrence Bates
Ugly.
Charlie Kirk
Talking about ugliness, did I stand stutter? You all right, so this was obviously meant to make bad white woman, innocent Somali couple. But the bigger issue, Jack, and we only have a minute left, I wish we'd have more time, is that these confrontations are happening more and more and more, and we're inviting these cultures and having these collisions. Is it the woman's fault? Obviously, I wouldn't recommend acting like that. But what's really going on here?
Jack Posobiec
What's really going on is that TikTok has created an inverted set of structure for bad behavior and quote, unquote, we're gonna catch people and cancel them. But the way that people are fighting back against this new cancel culture, I mean, this is like some, you know, minimum wage employee at a mall. And obviously. And you can see the video before, we've seen this like a million times. They're clearly being harassed. And she harassed her to get content out of it. That's why they were filming in the first place. And so if you look at givesend go, last I checked, it's about to cross $100,000 for this woman. Because people are saying, look, regardless of whether we say we agree with what she did, this is how you stop cancel culture. And this is how you reverse the incentive structure. Stop harassing people at work. It's really that simple. Don't harass customers, but don't harass employees either. Just because you're trying to get TikTok clout. And how many times have we seen people try to do that for TikTok clout? Over and over and over.
Charlie Kirk
Jack Posobicum Events daily. Your show's coming up in about an hour. We'll see you then. Thanks so much, Jack.
Jack Posobiec
Yeah, man.
Charlie Kirk
Hour two, coming up next.
Andrew Colvitt
Run a business and not thinking about podcasting. Think again. More Americans listen to podcasts than ads supported streaming music from Spotify and Pandora. And as the number one podcaster, iHeart's twice as large as the next two combined. So whatever your customers are into, true crime, sports, comedy culture, they'll hear your message. Plus, only Iheart can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio. And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for you. Think podcasting can help your business think. IHeart streaming radio and podcasting. Let us show you at iheartadvertising.com that's iheartadvertising.com or call 844-844-IHeart. One more time, call 844-844-iHeart and get podcasting working for you.
Terrence Bates
Welcome back to this Real America's Voice news break. I'm Terrence Bates. Just about every week we talk about changing your health and, by extension, your life with Energized Health. Well, here's another example of why you may want to start today.
Kane
I was weighing 270. You know, I still struggled with the whole weight thing. I tried a couple different things, and it just. It just wasn't working. I want to live a full life. I'm 6ft, and I'm weighing 228 right now. All of that's changed, but my mindset has changed.
Charlie Kirk
My clarity, my memory. I mean, I could go on and on.
Jack Posobiec
So much that has changed.
Terrence Bates
Joining me this afternoon, the Energized Health founder, John Jubilee. John, good to see you.
John Jubilee
Great to see you, Terrence.
Terrence Bates
You know, one of the things that this gentleman just said, he said that he's got more clarity after going on your protocol, but he also said something that I think is critical. His mindset has changed. And it seems to me after talking to you for so many months, that it really starts there. It's kind of changing your whole mindset and your whole thinking.
John Jubilee
Well, it really does. You know, Terrence, whatever age we're at, but especially this gentleman, you know, 60 years old, you know, you start thinking about, hey, I want to be there for my children as they're starting to have children. So I want to be the best grandparent I can be, and I want to be the best father, you know, that I can be. I want to be able to travel with my kids. You know, if we go on a Disney World vacation or a cruise, you know, I want to be there in full clarity to be fully present with my children and my grandchildren.
Terrence Bates
And the holiday season is really a great time or a great motivator for a lot of people. And it's a great time to inspire people to take that first step.
John Jubilee
Well, it really is, Terrence. And, you know, you and I were talking a little bit before, you know, we want to be there, right? We want to enjoy every moment. Maybe it's with our parents, you know, from our side. We want to be be there with our parents to be fully present during the holidays, and we want them to be in their best health so that they can enjoy us and they can enjoy those grandkids. And it really is, Terence, there's never. It's never too late to do the right thing. It's never too late to be the best you that you can be at any age that you are. You know, I've shared the story. You know, my mom is 85 years old.
Blake Neff
Young.
John Jubilee
85 years young. And when she comes out and visits, you know what? We take the kids golfing. You know, she's out there running around with them. She's running around in the backyard. My mom gets up and down off the floor at 85 years old. My mom has 49 grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she's an example. You could do it at any age.
Terrence Bates
49 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Will Chamberlain
Wow.
Terrence Bates
I'd be on the floor. Heck, with three girls, I'm on the floor already. So I can't even imagine that. That's a beautiful thing. And is some of that thanks to your protocol? Is she also someone who's using your protocol just out of curiosity?
John Jubilee
You know what? My mom became my client. My mom became my client. So she is absolutely, you know, she's a big advocate of energized health. She's a client. She's on those Tuesday night calls. You can meet my mom. You know, those of you that join Energized Health, you can actually meet my mom and see how she's doing it in her late 80s, getting up and down off the floor with all those grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Terrence Bates
That is a blessing. Before I let you go, I think this is an important time because people are going into the holidays, and most of us are going to indulge, maybe even overindulge. But that doesn't mean that you can't at least start the process or you can't still indulge while also using Energized Health or at least being part of that protocol. And I'm calling it a protocol. Being part of the plan. Being a client.
John Jubilee
Yeah. Yeah. So look, Terrence, on our protocol, we tell our clients God gave you taste buds because food tastes good, and we tell people to enjoy the holiday. You know, nobody should be on a diet or, you know, restricting themselves during the holidays. So, look, it's only a couple times a year, right, thanks to Thanksgiving and Christmas to do that. So you can come on and get involved with us at Energized Health, you can still fully enjoy everything to do with the holidays, but you can know you're going to be around for a lot more holidays and be at your top notch best health of your life for all your holidays by joining us at Energized Health.
Terrence Bates
There you go. And you can go to energizedhealth.com you see it there at the bottom of your screen, folks. You can find testimonials there and also find out how you can make that call to at least start the process that's going to do it for us here on Real America's Voice. We appreciate you being here with us. Now we're going to get you back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Andrew Colvitt

Charlie Kirk
All right, welcome back, hour two of the Charlie Kirk show. And I am extraordinarily excited about our next guest. And I'll tell you why. Because he is a dear friend and he has not been back on the show since we lost Charlie. And he at various points in this show's history, has been a regular. He even joined us in Detroit. We're going to play that clip. And that, of course, is Kane from Citizen Free Press. Very excited to have you back on the show, my friend. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
Kane
Yeah, happy to be here, Andrew. I checked, you know, on the, the zoom invite for this, for this interview. It was February 13th.
Charlie Kirk
That was the last time you were on.
Kane
Yeah, that was the last time I on. So you and I talked, obviously, February, March, April. I remember we DM back and forth. But I was just as you know, I got pissed off about deficits, about the deficits right in the big beautiful bill. And I was having a battle with Bessant and, and Russ Vogt and, you know, and so I just was negative, man. All I would have had to say was Negative stuff about how there wasn't enough. There weren't enough spending cuts. So I just, I ducked out of the. The media scene for six months or so.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah. You know, that's interesting. And Blake will remember this as well. We kind of went through our own journey and Charlie went through his own journey with the big, beautiful bill. And I think it really turned for him when we had Stephen Miller on the show. It was an extended conversation, like 30, 35 minutes, and it went viral, you know, kind of explaining the nuances of the bill, why Stephen Miller was in support of. Obviously, he's part of the administration, so you've got to assume that he's, you know, going to say supportive things. But it was actually an incredibly compelling moment. And I remember that that clip went viral and really helped galvanize a lot of the basis support for that bill. But listen, we understand everybody wanted less spending. We all want less spending. We do. But. Yeah, go ahead.
Kane
Yeah, I. Well, yeah, I was going to say I understood Besson's point the whole time, and I even tried to promote it. You know, I was giving them fair shake. And what he was saying was basically this, you know, 300. I think that spending cut number, you know, for the first year was 156 billion. And his point was, look, if we cut 300 billion or 350 or 400 billion out of discretionary, it's actually going to take a 1% slice out of GDP. And that's what he was worried about. He was saying, give them four years, they're going to get this right. He was talking all about measuring it as a percentage of GDP. So he's like, we're at 7% now. Give us four years. We'll get it into the threes. We'll get it down to where the annual deficit is just 3.5% of GDP. And I understood his point, and that's what Stephen Miller was talking about. I was just, you know, as I've told you privately.
Will Chamberlain
Right.
Kane
I. The whole reason I'm into politics, that I got radicalized back in 1987 when I was working at CNN, was, was the national debt. And that's when it crossed like a trillion and a half or 2 trillion. So I just, you know, it's. I have a stick up my butt about the debt and deficit, and that's, you know, somehow I got this large audience after eight years. Right. And I might as well use it. And so I used it to just kind of drive the point that Senator Johnson and. And a few others were really making about cuts. But anyway, I'm over it. I was never against the bill and I made that clear on the final day that I fully supported it. Anyway, whatever. I don't want to get.
Blake Neff
No, that's, that's admirable. That's admirable because we do. We do need people to care about that. We can't forget about it because people, it's the thing everyone in the country loves to just push under the rug. But the rug is getting. It's getting very elevated at this point.
But we wanted to have you on Kane, because what Charlie loved talking to you about so much was you. You have those links out there, you see what people are clicking on, what they care about. You are incredibly good vibes reader, as it were. And we've had a lot of discussion this last fall about what are the vibes on the right. Are they feeling optimistic, are they feeling downbeat? How quickly can one change? Can it change from the one to the other? So the floor is yours on that question.
Kane
Well, here's what I would say quickly. I would say, you know what? The base is fine. There may be scared. And I'm going to make the distinction between the two, the Twitter base and the base that never goes on Twitter unless they're on a link, you know, from cfp, people who don't have Twitter accounts. So again, the scared part, why is that? Well, it's always, it's always the same thing that we get our butts kicked in these special elections, in these off year elections. And Charlie and I would go through that. He would be like, chill out, Kane. It's going to be okay. We're going to get turnout, you know, in 2024. And not if you, I mean, you remember, we lost, what, 13 straight of those special elect or Democrats overperformed in 13 straight. So anyway, they're scared because of that, right? They're scared because of.
Charlie Kirk
Kane. I think we're, we're cutting in and out there, technical emphasis. We'll never know.
Blake Neff
We'll never know what they're scared of.
Charlie Kirk
Blake or Kane. Are you there?
Kane
What happened in New Jersey? And I'm back. Can you hear me yet?
Charlie Kirk
Yes, I can hear you.
Kane
Yes. Okay.
Charlie Kirk
No, we're losing them. We're losing you again. Kane, I'm gonna give you a chance to reset and I'm gonna play a clip from. This was your first public appearance with Charlie and I in Detroit at our people's Convention last year. Let's go ahead and play 147 while we get Kane reconnected 147.
Jack Posobiec
If we do not expand our base with new voter registration and high turnout, we are not going to win. And the higher turnout, the higher likelihood.
Will Chamberlain
That we are going to win.
Charlie Kirk
And Democrats know this.
Jack Posobiec
And so we need to engage in.
Blake Neff
Every legal way we possibly can to.
Jack Posobiec
Make it too big to rig. And Kane, if our elections were actually honest and secure, what would the result end up being?
Kane
I want people to understand what Turning Point action, Turning Point USA has been doing over the last six months regarding chasing the vote. All right, what, what Andrew just talked about, the low propensity voters. We've got to get out and register at all, you know, play by the rules. We don't like these rules. We don't think that absentee ballots are the way to go for the future. But as long as they're part of the system, we have to use that.
Charlie Kirk
It's a good memory. Kane, Kane, if you can hear me, I'm not sure if you're, if you're with us or if we're reconnecting you but, but the. We actually you and I reconnected recently and I was telling you I've gotten a bunch of emails@freedom charliekirk.com saying where's citizen Free Press? Where's Cain? Where is he?
Looks like we lost Cain. That's too bad. Okay, try and get him reconnected.
Blake Neff
I'm now looking through some of our emails. In fact, I think I was even, we were inspired to reach out to him again because we had an email from Samantha just a few a week ago. Hey Blake and Andrew, has anyone checked in with Citizen Kane? Is he doing okay? And I said yes, we still talk to him, he's doing well, but we actually need to get him on the show.
Charlie Kirk
All right, well, so this is, this is a good time to bring up the updates in Indiana. I cannot tell you how many emails I've gotten or texts from reporters about Indiana. So we announced this last week we had a rally there at the State House in Indiana and there is a big, big fight that is brewing right now and it's going to come to a head probably this week where they are going to vote on the new maps in Indiana. So are we going to have a completely red state? All Republican congressional districts redrawn? There's a certain percentage of the senators in that state that have not indicated which way they are going to vote. There is a strong possibility. And the reason this is to going pertinent to Kaine obviously is that's his home state. He's a big Indiana Hoosier. And so they are going to reconvene Monday afternoon to begin consideration of House Bill 1032. And the redesign would likely eliminate Indiana's two Democratic held congressional districts to create a 9, 0 Republican map ahead of 2026. It's a huge, huge deal. The House approved the redistricting bill as expected on a vote 57 to 41. Twelve Republicans joined, all Democrats in opposition. But Senate Senate President Pro Tem Roderick Bray has warned that there are not enough votes to move that idea forward. And so what's happening in the background here is that groups like Turning Point Action and others, there's a big coalition that is building, informative, forming. We are going to have congressional level spending going after to primary these senators in Indiana to get them more in alignment with their base voters. The base voters in Indiana want this new map. Kane, do you. I've transitioned since you've been gone to the this new redistricting map. There is a huge, huge push going on right now.
Blake Neff
How do people feel about redistricting Indiana and across the country?
Charlie Kirk
30 seconds. That we're going to have to take a quick break.
Kane
They're incredibly pissed off in Indiana that the Indiana Senate is blowing all this smoke. As you probably mentioned, the vote was 5,741 in the House, Indiana House just on Friday. Right. And that was with 10 or 11 Democrat Republicans defecting and voting with Democrats. There's going to be hell to pay if the Indiana Senate doesn't approve this thing. And last thing I'll say before commercial in that political article, they say that Mike Johnson's been making phone calls. And don't bet on this outcome yet. We may get our map.
Charlie Kirk
Kane, we're going to take you in the break. Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back.
Andrew Colvitt

Kane, give us an update on your traffic. How's things going at Citizen Free Press? We got one minute till we bring back radio.
Kane
Yeah. Well, here's an interesting peek into how media works. When your side wins, traffic goes down. When your side loses, traffic goes up. So when Biden won in 2020, the last four years, people are freaked out. They're checking news, they're checking my site eight times a day. Now, I get the same number of people every day, but they check about five times. But that in, in all honesty, part of that is probably due to my slacking. As you know, because you read the site every day the last six months. You know, for the first time in nine years, I decided not to work 16, 18 hours a day and I work 12 to 14. So there's fewer. There have been fewer updates, but traffic's still fine. I'm doing 12 million page views a day. It's about six and a half million people per month come on their own to the homepage. So that's 2% of the population.
Charlie Kirk
Well done. Massive powerhouse at Citizen Free Press. We're going to welcome back national radio. We're going to talk college football.
His name is King. Oh, his name is Kane his name is Kane. It's great to have that song back on, Kane. It feels like we're getting like the old vibes back. I'm not kidding. I. I was telling the team when I walked into the studio today, I was like, man, I feel the vibe shift. There's like a. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's just in my head, but having you back on feels really, really good. I hope you will not be a stranger, Kane, and that you will come back more often because we need to keep the base focused. And that's what you and Charlie did, which you and me and Charlie and Blake. Keep the base. Focus on those, on the main things, like, hey, redistricting. There's a huge fight that's happening this week. You got to contact your senators, by the way, if you want to get involved. Tpaction.com forward/act Indiana. We might. I think we have that URL from last week. You guys can find it. We should put it up on the lower banner. You can send letters to. To everybody. Act Indiana. Tpaction.com forward/act Indiana. We gotta put the pressure on these guys. But Kane, I have to bring this topic up. It's. Charlie loved college football. So we keep talking about it because we are in the playoff bracket, period. And I have to. I can't believe that we're sitting in a situation where Indiana is the number one team. Where did this come from?
Kane
I have no idea. And you. You knew this would be a topic I could talk about. I've been going to games since I was six old. The football stadium is a mile from my house that I grew up in. And I rolled around on those stupid hills and rolled around in that stadium. So for 50 some years, I've been a fan. And in what, 15 coaches, all average, all felt, you get one guy. One guy brings in his. This philosophy that, that I've never heard before. Every play is a. Has a life of its own, you know, independent of the play, before he brings it in and they go, What? We went 11, 0 last year until we lost Ohio State. And then you know, anyway, it's unbelievable. I did not expect to win the game in Indy. The town's on fire. Were ranked number one for the first time in history. You know, I don't, I can't even believe it's happening. I, I still, you know, I had to. We lost 30 straight years to Ohio State, as you know. And I want people to know, you know, when Andrew talks about football, he was an all state safety in Nevada in high school. He could have played college safety for a bunch of schools. So he knows football better than I do. But this is insane. And it was insane that Indiana went to Oregon and won. And I thought of our dear brother Charlie then and you know how much he loved University of Oregon football. And it's just, it's all so bittersweet, but it's exciting. And what the heck, we're ranked number one. How about that?
Charlie Kirk
How about that? You beat the Ohio State Buckeyes in. Danny on our team was, was in tears, but they're still ranked number two. You might get a rematch here. Hey, Blake, you're the Catholic here. Notre Dame was left out, which is a big scandal across college football. I, I'm sorry, I. Do you care?
Blake Neff
I'm angry. I'm angry that Notre Dame is throwing a temper tantrum. And so one, they turned down the Catholics versus Mormon bowl, but they also turned down specifically it is the Pop Tart bowl in which they, they literally sacrifice the Pop Tart. They lower the mascot into the giant toaster oven and then they consume the mascot.
Charlie Kirk
Yes.
Blake Neff
And I think that's probably the best modern tradition we have in college football. And there it's hilarious. Pooping on it. I think they're being kind of babies, to be honest.
Charlie Kirk
Are they throwing a tantrum, Kane?
Kane
Yes, they are. From, from the state. First off, Blake is 100% correct about the Pop Tart thing. It's this hilarious meme thing they, they do at. I, I've seen it the last few years, but yeah, they're throwing a fit.
Jack Posobiec
You.
Kane
They had the ESPN reporter on scene yesterday and she said people were walking, the players were walking out with their heads down. They feel like that they called it a farce. Right. The whole deal for people who don't know is suddenly Miami jumped BYU in the rankings. So they were comparing Miami dead on with Notre Dame. And they decided in that comparison that Miami was. Gets the bid because Miami beat them in the first or second game of the season head to head. So. And that pissed off Notre Dame fans because in the preceding, you know, college Football puts it out. The committee puts out rankings once a week separate from AP and the coaches poll. And Notre Dame had been ranked ahead of Miami, so they fell in what they call a false sense of security that they were going to get the bid. So, yeah, there's the Pop Tart. Great work by your producers. Yeah, Notre Dame is like they're taking their ball and going home. They're saying if we don't get in.
Charlie Kirk
The college football playoffs.
Blake Neff
Yeah, well, we're looping around. I remember when it was only, you know, they only had the national title game and there was no playoff and people would complain. Oh, unfair things caused people to leap. And we can fix this if we have a four team playoff. And then teams didn't. They'd complain about how unfair they didn't get in the final four. And now they're like, we made 12 teams. Every remotely plausible national champion will get in. And they're still throwing a huge temper change from. And I would say Notre Dame, if you want to not throw a temper tantrum about how it's unfair to overtake you, win all your games or join a conference that you can win and get another win in the final week of the season.
Charlie Kirk
All right, we have to go because we're running out of time. Citizen Free Press, you guys have to visit it, make it your homepage. Just go there all the time. I do. Cain, it is so good to have you back, my friend. It's a blast in the past and really good vibe, good vibe shift. Come back soon.
Kane
Likewise. Good seeing, good seeing both of you. And I may be out at amfest. You never know.
Charlie Kirk
All right, brother, we'll be right back.
Andrew Colvitt

And back home at the White House, President Trump likely keeping an eye on the situation between Thailand and Cambodia as the two sides are accusing each other of breaching a Trump brokered cease fire. Thailand admits to launching airstrikes into Cambodia after fighting broke out in multiple areas along the border between the two countries. President Trump was on hand for the Kuala Lumpur peace accords signing between the two countries just a couple of months ago, during which peace was agreed upon. Meantime, the Trump administration continuing its mass deportations with dozens of Iranians who were in the United States now headed home. Iran's Mehran News Agency says the country's foreign minister is acknowledging that 55 Iranians are being flown home from the United States on what is now the second major deportation flight to the embassy country. The bigger implication of this case, however, will be the determination of presidential powers to fire members the of of independent agencies. That's a quick check of your headlines. The next great awakening is here. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. Hi, welcome, welcome back, everybody. Connection, open dialogue. These are the things that build communities. Charlie and TikTok both understand that and understood that that's why TikTok has built a space where that kind of listening actually happens. People don't just post, they respond. They build on each other's ideas. You'll see a teacher simplifying a tough lesson so it finally clicks or a gardener sharing a trick that saved their crop. But what matters most isn't the video, it's what comes next. Someone asking a question, someone else answering with a story of their own. And suddenly people who've never met become a community built on curiosity. When people listen and understand, a shift happens. Walls come down, ideas travel further, and connection, real connection, takes their place. That's what listening does. It reminds us that we're not as different as we may be thought. So go to the place where community is happening all the time. And that would be TikTok. I want to play, actually, a clip if you guys can find it. Trump was talking about TikTok and Charlie helping with the youth vote. So if you can find me that clip really quick, I want to play it because it's just. It's just really sweet. So, anyways, we'll get to that clip in just a second. In the meantime, I want to bring in Will Chamberlain. He is the senior counsel for the Article 3 project. So he works with our good friend Mike Davis, does a lot of other things. Will, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. It's good to have you here.
Will Chamberlain
It's good to be with you. Long time no see. I, you know, haven't been on since before, obviously, Charlie's passing. So I, you know, hope, you know, miss you guys and obviously wishing you very, very well.
Charlie Kirk
Thank you, Will. You've been fantastic. You've been so supportive and we, we really appreciate it, genuinely. You are a legal mind. You're working with, like we said, Mike Davis, who's a frequent guest on this show. And there's really, I think, two big stories on the legal front, maybe you would argue there's more. And so we can get to those as well if we have time. But the, the first one, and we've already got to the birthright citizenship in hour one. I want to revisit that with you. But the other big one that kind of was making waves this weekend is what's happening in Europe, of course, with the dsa, the Digital Digital Services act, which was put in place in 2023, and it affects, I would believe, censorship. X was one of the, if not the only, major social media platform that has defied DSA. And they got a big fine of $140 million, 120 million euros over the weekend that was announced. Elon Musk is raging about it, calling it bs, but, you know, not using the acronym. What is going on here, Will, and what are the implications for us here in the United States?
Will Chamberlain
Yeah, so the EU Commission has fined X for $140 million. They claim that the giving out the verified check to anybody who pays $8 a month for it is deceptive. Now, that's not true because Elon Musk and X have been extremely transparent in how they've structured the Veri program. If anything, it was the prior administration that was totally deceptive with how they were handing out blue checks. It was a complete black box. Now Elon's transparent. They're also going after Elon for refusing to hand over X's proprietary API data so that European researchers, researchers can go through it for free and figure out what's wrong with X. All this is, I think, part of what maybe Americans have sort of are sort of waking up to, which is that there's this discordance between the European Union and NATO. When European countries put on their NATO hats, they're extraordinarily grateful for the transatlantic alliance being under the American security umbrella. When they put on their EU hat, they're part of an adversarial trade bloc that wants to exert leverage over the United States and American companies. And I don't think we should have to put up with that. And I think that Europeans need to make a choice whether they prefer being under the American security umbrella or antagonizing American companies, because we're not going to put up with both.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, well, so how does this impact American companies then? So all of the other social media sites, whether that be Meta Google, they have complied. Is that right? I mean, and what are the implications for our free speech if that is true?
Will Chamberlain
Well, there's, there's some sites that haven't that are kind of only based in the United States. But that hasn't stopped European regulators from going after them. For example, I believe it's 4chan was sent letters by Ofcom, the UK's independent regulator, trying to tell them that they needed to start censoring speech. But that obviously would be in violation of their First Amendment rights under the Constitution. So they're telling the UK to go pound sand. But it does create, you know, this, this fundamental problem and imbalance where there's no cost to these European countries going after the United States. And that's. I think that. And we have to spend a lot of money defending ourselves. So I think there's a good lawyer by the name of Preston Burns who's proposed something called the Granite act that's already been taken up in the state of Wyoming. And we're hearing from the Department of State that they're looking at a federal Granite Act. And the idea is that anytime a European Sovereignty makes a threat against an American company that would threaten them. If they don't censor their speech, they immediately have a private right of action here in the United States to sue that sovereignty or that company for three times the amount of the threat, which I think is the right way to go. I think the European Union is vastly overplaying its hand legally here. They are far more dependent on access to United States markets. They're far more dependent on United States security cooperation than we are on them. And so we shouldn't. And I don't think we will put up with their continued threats to our free speech.
Charlie Kirk
Blake, this really is. Yeah, I was about to throw to you, Blake, because, yeah, you're. You're big on this.
Blake Neff
I just want to drive home how despicable this is. A lot of people don't realize how Europe works. So, for example, this fine came from the European Commission. What's the European Commission? Well, the European Union, even though they'll obviously. They obviously will scream. Scream all the time about democracy, but it's super fake. You can't. In America, we can elect President Trump through an actual direct election. We are able to elect our Congress. In the European Union, they have the European Commission. And the way you get on the European Commission is governments appoint members of it.
Terrence Bates
It.
Blake Neff
They're the only ones who can come up with any regulations, any proposed laws from the European Union. No one in Europe actually gets to vote on these directly. They just have the European Parliament, and it gets an up or down vote on stuff that comes from the European Commission. And the other thing that's going on is Europe is in economic sharp decline. They've decided it's immoral to make electricity, it's immoral to build houses, it's immoral to really develop any technology whatsoever or to favor entrepreneurship. And so you can look this up, I encourage everyone to Google this phrase, regulatory superpower. This is what Europe is reduced to. Well, we have 800 million people, so let's become a, quote, regulatory superpower, where we just pass laws and we boss people around and in this case, literally shake them down for money. And that's what Europe is reduced to because they aren't innovative, they aren't dynamic. They're just rich because of things that their ancestors did decades or hundreds of years ago. And that's what we're stuck having to deal with here. They're dependent on us for security. They're dependent on us for innovation, and they think they can boss around what we say on the Internet.
Will Chamberlain
Yeah, that's Exactly. Right.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah. I mean, will. So diving into this dsa, though, what are the dynamics? What are the rules of it? Like, what are the stipulations even?
Will Chamberlain
It seems a lot like Calvin Ball, honestly. Like, it's like. I think it, you know, probably has some generic prohibition on deceptive trade practices, the kind of thing we have here. But then it gives the EU this incredible scope to interpret what constitutes a deceptive trade practice. It doesn't look like there is a court involved in making this decision or attempts any real due process or litigation. It's just the European Commission decided that that Twitter's verified process was unlawful, and that's the end of that. And moreover, the way they're doing it, I mean, they're just completely flagrantly in violation of American speech jurisprudence here. Sorry. Like, Elon Musk gets to determine how X verifies its users as long as he's not lying about it. The EU doesn't get to complain. You know, if the EU decides they want to just shut X out of its market entirely, fine. That's great. Like, it'll at least, like, make it clear where we stand here, you know, like, oh, you guys are actually antagonistic, adversarial nations like China instead of supposedly friendly allied nations, fellow inheritors of Western civilization. Okay, very well. We can proceed on that basis. The difference is China has a real military and you don't.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, well, that's interesting. And this was near and dear to Charlie's heart, by the way. This is one of the themes of the last year, especially when he visited the UK with Blake and some of the other team. But it was an acknowledgement that the fundamental relationship of our transatlantic allies, the. The inheritors, as you said, of. Of Western civilization, are finding themselves increasingly out of alignment about basic things like free speech. You've heard J.D. vance talk about this. Senator Mark or Senator goodness gracious.
State Department is now Marco Rubio is going after them as well and saying there's a misalignment here, and how do we get that alignment back into a place where we can all say, hey, you know, we can actually shake hands, and we're roaning in the same direction here. So Secretary of State Rubio has a role to play here. What is. What are the. The levers that we can now push back against our friends across the Atlantic?
Will Chamberlain
Right. So, as I mentioned, the Granite act is a good lever. We want to give individuals who are threatened by European censors a private right of action here and eliminate European sovereign immunity for lawsuits here in The United States. So if one of these European actors decides that they want to go after an American citizen, we can say both that you don't have any sovereign immunity and you're personally liable, so we can go after any of your assets in the United States. So don't you dare. So that's step one. That's sort of a protective measure. I think step two is actually a broader recognition that the European Union and its continued existence is actually antithetical to American interests. The idea behind the European Union is to create increased bargaining leverage by European countries against the United States. And again, if they were, you know, if they want to be adversarial to the United States, fine, but then they should have to do without our military protection. And so. So we should see. We know that the EU isn't just hostile to America. It's also hostile to conservative countries within the European Union, the way they're hostile to Hungary, hostile to Poland, hostile to Italy, making demands of them to accept more migrants. I think American policy and diplomatic policy should be to foster and lift up those countries that are pushing back against the European Union to help them leave if they want to leave, to provide monetary incentives for them to leave and to make side deals with the United States. We should have, you know, as long until the EU gets its act right and makes clear that it wants to be America's friend as opposed to America's antagonist economically, then we should. We should go ahead and be antagonistic towards them and maybe bring Hungary and Poland and Italy and the Czech Republic into some side alliance, then allow them to leave the eu.
Charlie Kirk
Wow, Blake, your reaction to that idea is a creative solution here.

I mean, I. I am basically happy with anything that restores real European countries that reflect. Elect real European peoples, as opposed to this European Union bloated monstrosity, which it really. I know Charlie hated the word democracy, but I'm going to apply it to Europe here. The entire point of the European Union is to make globalist neoliberalism totally immune from actual democratic pressures. It's entirely designed to make it so. What the globalist agenda is is not able to be stopped by anyone because it's too separated. It's too immune from immediate voter pressure, and it's too complex for most people to understand. And the time has come for us to shatter that apart. That is the European deep state. The European deep state is not the bureaucracy of France or Germany individually. It's this transnational project that elites have built. And the United States has a direct role to play in undercutting that and saying people should have a direct influence over what their countries are like.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, well said. And I did promise this clip, so I'm going to sneak it in real quick. 104. This is President Trump thanking Charlie Kirk. Young people are respecting us again, too. I won the young vote. Republicans never win the young vote. I want it easily and I want to thank Charlie and I want to thank TikTok and there are a lot of reasons for it, but. And there's never been a Republican who.
Terrence Bates
Won the young vote and I won.
Charlie Kirk
The very young vote. So that's a good sign. I just thought it was nice that President Trump continues to give Charlie shout outs. It was. It was beautiful to see, especially from our vantage point. Really quickly. If you could make one holiday wish, would you wish to be free from your credit card and other debt? I think that's probably true. If you could give yourself one gift, that would be it. So here's why. Now is the time to make the move. This time of year, credit card and loan companies close out their books. They're clearing past due accounts and selling off their debt. Debt. So done with debt goes to work. Month one with one goal. Reduce your total debt and leave you with more money every month. So they know that right now is the time to pound. So go with done with debt. Donewithdebt.com donewithdebt.com and get on it right now. Get out from under your debt payments, guys. We'll be right back with Will Chamberlain.

Run a business and not thinking about radio. Think again because more people are listening to the radio and iHeart today than they were 20 years ago. Radio's here now more than ever. And iheart's leading the way. Think radio can help your business? Think iHeart streaming, podcasting and radio where the reach is real. This Christmas, give the gift of food security with an amazing deal from Our friends at my Patriot Supply. Oh, shoot, I am, I'm, you know, I'm still getting, still getting used to this whole radio gig. Will, in the meantime, before we welcome back radio, tell us about the Article 3 project. How people can follow you, get involved in what you're doing.
Will Chamberlain
Yeah. So the Article 3 project is a political advocacy project. We do a lot of things to try and pressure Congress to essentially push forward the Trump agenda, getting cabinet nominees confirmed, judges confirmed. We're particularly focused on issues that touch in the Judiciary. Article 3 in the Namesake in the name would tell you that you can find our various projects on a3paction.com which will give you a way to directly contact your individual senator or representative with just a few clicks. We find that to be a very, very effective way to make your voice heard. We know that it worked wonders, especially during the Hexath confirmation when it looked like his confirmation might have been on ice. But the voice of what is the activists on the right and people who are willing to just, just sent an email or two got their attention.
Charlie Kirk
A 3P action? Is that what it is? We'll get it in radio. One second. Well, we're going to welcome back radio.
Jack Posobiec
All right.
Charlie Kirk

All right. So Will, you were talking about this great tool you guys have at Article 3. It's a3p action dot org. Is that right?
Will Chamberlain
A3p action dot com, if I'm not mistaken.
Charlie Kirk
Great.
Will Chamberlain
Okay. And that allows. Yeah, and so and yeah, that allows your, your viewers to immediately click and send a message directly to their senator or their representative with 30 seconds or a minute max on an issue that is pressing. And we use that to great effect during the Hegseth confirmation and other of the more contested Senate confirmations to make clear where the base stood on a number of issues. And it really did a lot to sway senators and move them in the right direction.
Charlie Kirk
I love this. So if you go it is dot com, by the way, a3paction.com, tell Congress to impeach D.C. obama Judge Jeb Boasberg, tell Colorado Governor Jared Polis to commute Tina Peter's sentence. Tell Congress to strip Ilhan Omar of her committee assignments. You just press take action. You can get on board with all those projects. Okay, we got three minutes left here. Will, we talked about birthright citizenship. Frame up. What's going to happen if you have to get into the legal weeds? We get it. And why it's important.
Will Chamberlain
Well, we're at the Supreme Court already, which is good. And they, they took certioraria before judgment on one of these cases, which they don't normally do, meaning the Supreme Court thinks it's really important. Basically, progressives are trying to pretend that there's no debate here at all, that this is a really simple question about the idea that if you're born in the United States, you're a citizen unless you're like the child of diplomats or the child of an invading army. But it's actually a little more complicated than that because the key the decision the case will turn on the meaning of the phrase subject to the jurisdiction of the idea being that you're not just a citizen if you're born here, you need to be subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. And there's a lot of really good authority. That jurisdiction requires allegiance and it requires the permission of the sovereign to be here. So if you're the child of a lawful permanent resident, then sure, you get citizenship. But if you are the child of temporary visitors or illegal aliens, you aren't and you shouldn't, because the policy consequences of that are enormous and absurd. There's no way that any rational country would want a policy like that that induces illegal immigration. And I think it's really as much as the left wants to pretend that this is straightforward, it's anything but. And I think, honestly, I think we're going to win this one. I think the Supreme Court's going to come down on the side of saying you know you're not entitled to citizenship if you're the child of illegal aliens.
Charlie Kirk
Well, you are the first person I think that we've had on this show that has sounded a vote of confidence. Blake is not so sure. Or maybe you've changed your opinion, Blake.
Blake Neff
I don't know. I just, I want to, I want to see it all play out. Maybe I should be from Missouri, you know, the Show Me state.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah. So Blake, I want to see it succeed. To be. Yeah. I was going to say, to be very clear, Blake is very much of the same mind. I just think Blake is, it is one of those weird issues where if you go back to the framing of it and the drafting of the amendment, it was clearly written for slaves. It was clearly written for the children of slaves. It was clearly debated. And they even said, when you look at the debate notes in the notes from the Senate that they were saying, of course this wouldn't apply to foreigners. And all this stuff.
Blake Neff
I will say, I will say I've been very impressed with the Trump administration's laying out of the history of it and really getting into what its origins are. Their argument is very impressive. I just worry in pragmatic terms. I just don't know if the Supreme Court, do we have five votes that would take the plunge on that, or are we going to have that standard thing where they say, well, people are too dependent on how it's been interpreted for a long time. We don't like the implications of actually going back to what the law was clearly intended to be, so we're going to wuss out on it. And we've seen even these quite conservative leaning courts make that decision time and time again. So I'd be very happy if they change course.
Charlie Kirk
But show me.
Blake Neff
I've got to see it happen.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah. Will Chamberlain, Article 3 Project Senior Counsel, thank you so much for joining us. Well, it's great to see you again, my friend.
Will Chamberlain
Yeah, good to be with you.

The Supreme Court is set to hear a pivotal case that could re-examine the status of children born to illegal immigrants in the U.S.
Charlie:
"Birthright citizenship is now going to be heard by the Supreme Court... it could impact up to 4.3 million retroactively births..." [16:22]
14th Amendment’s intent—the drafters wanted to grant citizenship to freed slaves, not to those under foreign allegiance.
"If everybody simply born on American soil is automatically a citizen, you have to ask yourself, why not the Native Americans?" [24:51]
Blake Neff (on legal history):
"The Supreme Court of the United States has only ever ruled on whether birthright citizenship extends to the children of those legally in the United States and permanently… never ruled on illegal immigrants." [25:56]
The conversation emphasizes the generational and political consequences, with the hosts expressing hope (but some skepticism) that the Court will overturn the current understanding.
