When I told people I was making a podcast about Benghazi, nine times out of ten they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes or just asked why Benghazi?

Your podcasts The Charlie Kirk show starts now. That Senator Schumer should not be worried about a primary challenge from you. I mean, no, let me jump in on this one. Let me. This is. See, this is what we're talking about. That's exactly what we're talking about.
Terrence Bates
This is what we're.
Andrew Colvett
Have a country that is falling apart. Think it's a good idea to give a trillion dollars of tax breaks for the richest people in the country and.
Terrence Bates
Then make massive cuts to health care.
Dr. Gad Saad
For working class people?
Jack Posobiec
I think Chuck Schumer has voted for.
Andrew Colvett
Continuing resolutions 13 times in the last four years.
Jack Posobiec
And he has the opportunity to vote.
Andrew Colvett
For one again, but he's refusing to come to the table. I think, look, I don't accept IOUs. I don't accept pinky promises. That's not the business that I'm in. Okay, so you need a signature from President Trump in order to vote to reopen the government. Correct.
Jack Posobiec
It sounded like a majority of the justices are leaning toward embracing some form of that argument which would essentially dismantle the Voting Rights act as we know it today. All six of them seem to be leaning towards some kind of result that.
Andrew Colvett
Would radically weaken, if not altogether demolish, what we know of the Voting Rights act today. So we are respecting, responding to current day manifestations of past and present decisions that disadvantage minorities and make it so that they don't have equal access to the voting system. Right. They're disabled. In fact, we use the word disabled. Cook County Circuit Chief Judge Timothy Evans is barring civil arrests of people when.
Terrence Bates
They are at county courts.
Andrew Colvett
Evans said in a statement, quote, access to justice depends on every individual's ability to appear in court without fear or obstruction. Our courthouses remain places where all people, regardless of their background or circumstance, should.
Terrence Bates
Be able to safely and confidently participate in the judicial process.
Andrew Colvett
Certainly step zero in the Robinson litigation is the plaintiffs came in and said, we want another majority black district. I thought they came in and said, we are not receiving equal electoral opportunity because our votes are being diluted. Which is the same way of saying we deserve a second. No, it's not. Because that, again, just trust me on this. The second electoral or second district is a remedy that one could offer for a problem that we've identified in the state of Louisiana. That that analysis was conducted in the Nairn case. And it was clear that regardless of party, white Democrats were not voting for black candidates, whether they were Democrats or not. Why does Republican messaging on social media seem so much more effective than Democratic messaging? And what can we do about It. Well, that's a great question. I think the Republicans are effective.
Jack Posobiec
They have learned a lot about social media.
Andrew Colvett
And by the way, it doesn't hurt that their friends own all of the major social media platforms and they are able to radicalize and target and explain, exploit a generation of young boys in particular, away from healthy masculinity and into an insecure masculinity that requires the domination of others who are poorer, browner, darker or a different gender than them. Do you think undocumented immigrants should have access to federally? You know, I, I believe personally that health care is a human right. I believe that every person should be able to go to the doctor. Do you believe that that should be changed? Pardon? If you could choose. Do you believe that the federal law should be changed? I don't. I believe in a single payer health care system where if you go in and you need a doctor, you can get the medical attention that you need. Maybe I'm wrong about the ceasefire in Gaza. Do you believe President Trump deserves credit for that? Well, you know, I find these. There have been several ceasefire announcements and developments that have happened over the past two years. As President Trump was on the plane back to the United States. There's already indications and questions about whether this cease fire will hold. Do you give him credit, do you give him credit though, for getting to this point where it did get those 20 hostages back home with their families in this particular development, yes. But we also know that President Trump was an obstacle to peace.
Jack Posobiec
Previously, Mark Bray was denounced by by the president of Dartmouth University because of his embrace of violence. He said, if you label someone a white supremacist, if you label someone a fascist, then he endorses violence against them. I would just say this to Rutgers. I spoke with Turning Point headquarters earlier tonight. We stand by our chapter. We will defend our chapter.

Andrew Colvett
Has the will to believe in the greatest country in the history of the world. This is the Charlie Kirk Show. Talk a lot. Here we go.
Jack Posobiec
All right.
Andrew Colvett
Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show. This is Andrew Colvitt, executive producer of this fine show, and I'm joined in studio here in D.C. no, we did not change the set. We are just on location in Washington, D.C. and I'm joined by Jack Posoba.
Jack Posobiec
What's up, man?
Andrew Colvett
You know, we're, we're holding it down here in the Imperial capital while Blake is on assignment in Italy. I'm just gonna out him.
Jack Posobiec
I was gonna say you don't usually tell people specifically where.
Andrew Colvett
Well, in this instance, it's just too cool. I have to say it. It is pretty cool. He has a family member that's taken the vows to become a nun, female member. Super based. Which is super based.
Jack Posobiec
It's actually Blake, isn't it? Blake's joining a nunnery.
Andrew Colvett
Blake's joining a nunnery. There's too many.
Dr. Gad Saad
Too many.
Jack Posobiec
Finally found a place for Blake.
Andrew Colvett
Too many tripwires in that minefield you just, you just laid for me. So, anyways, we are honored to be with you guys. I just have to say we've gotten such a tremendous outpouring of just feedback from our show yesterday that we did from the White House. Truly, truly grateful for all the nice notes and the kind things you guys have said. We had a tremendous show. We had James Blair, who's one of the most powerful people actually in the administration. People don't realize that, but he's head of, like, political and policy, deputy chief of staff at the White House that we had, of course, J.D. vance. We announced that. J.D. if you guys want to throw this graphic up, J.D. is going to be speaking on campus with erica Kirk on October 29th at Ole Miss there in Oxford, Mississippi. Going to be an amazing, amazing event. And he's said he's going to take questions.
Jack Posobiec
Has a sitting vice president or president ever done something like this before?
Andrew Colvett
No, as far as I'm, as far as I'm aware, can't think of anything but the, the, the courage that it takes, as you know, essentially the second most powerful man in the world to sit in front of students at a college. There's going to be like 10,000 people there taking questions for probably like an hour. Let's just say the man who's a.
Jack Posobiec
Heartbeat away from the chair, but he's.
Andrew Colvett
Willing to just do that and take questions are going to be unscripted. It's going to be. I mean, who does that, right? Even the town halls that they do, you know, on cnn we can get into aoc and Bernie did theirs last night.
Jack Posobiec
But that was all planned.
Andrew Colvett
Was all planned. And they know which questions are coming. This is going to be completely raw and he's willing to take hard questions from both the left and the right.
Jack Posobiec
So take that much time out of his schedule and with the logistics, with the security, with the pre planning that has to go in, I mean that it's just a testament to how much Charlie meant to JD and how big of an impact that Charlie's legacy had, not on only JD as a person, but really on JD's politics. And JD really has told the story that, that Charlie was the one that really backed him, encouraged him when he was first running for Senate and then eventually where he is now in the Vice presidency.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, JD would tell you this as well. He would not be where he is today as the sitting Vice President, United States, because he probably wouldn't have been Senator and then he probably wouldn't have had so much backing and support from a lot of people that Charlie helped bring about when he was being considered for Vice President. Charlie really spearheaded that. And then of course, all the efforts, the turning point action that Charlie, that you did, Jack, to get JD in office, to get President Trump in office. So I actually. We've both been doing the media rounds, Jack, because we're in dc, we're in the imperial Capital, might as well make use of it. I actually went on the with Dana Perino and Bill Hemmer this morning to talk about the interview that I had with JD Vance yesterday and to just thank him for what a tremendous human being he is and for willing to emulate Charlie's, you know, his style, his mission on campus to actually take the questions. Play cut 243. I just want to give a huge shout out and hat tip to the Vice President. You know, people, I don't know how people imagine this working, but he and Usha have been so just generous and they have been the ones offering to help. They have been the ones saying, hey, we want to make sure that Charlie's legacy lives on. How can we help? What can we do? And I just love that the Vice President wants to honor Charlie by emulating Charlie at these events. You know, yes, he'll give a few minutes of remarks, but he wants to, he wants to interact with the students and people need to understand that. Part of what made Charlie so amazing is that, yeah, he spoke, but he listened. And this is going to give the Vice President opportunity to do just that. So your reaction, Jay no, it's, it's huge.
Jack Posobiec
I mean, to have the Vice President sitting. Vice President, United States, a guy who has been spearheading and, and look, I was in the room the other day when Marco Rubio and J.D. vance came in, coming, getting off of the call with like the Hamas negotiations and Qatar. And we know that JD Vance has been involved working with Witkoff and the Ukraine, Russia war. And so we're in the middle of a government. There's so many things that are going on in D.C. that he has on his portfolio and he's gonna take all of this time to honor Charlie and by the way, to continue the tour that the left tried to stop.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, absolutely. That's exactly right. And JD said in that interview, you know, with me, he said, listen, we're gonna, we're gonna each take a piece of this and that's. Nobody can replace Charlie. There's nobody who's gonna hold a candle to Charlie. As the Bible said, we are unfit to tied the sandals of Charlie, but here we are and we're attempting to do our best. We miss him, but we're gonna, we're gonna keep, we're gonna hold the torch as best we can and JD's gonna be a big part of that and just so grateful to him. So also, Jack, I played a clip of mine, I'm gonna play a clip of yours. And that is about this, this theme of this rise of left wing violence. I did a town hall with News Nation last night.
Jack Posobiec
You did? It's going viral right now. Mr.
Andrew Colvett
Viral.
Jack Posobiec
Oh, you're definitely, you're definitely going viral.
Andrew Colvett
Right now in a bad way.
Jack Posobiec
Hopefully not on the left.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, we'll say, well, here, here's here. But, but you actually kind of commented on something similar again. Another Fox News hit, but by the way, give it up for real America's Voice and Salem Radio Network that carries this show live every day. And for real America's Voice that did such great work to set up the shot, the shoot yesterday, the interviews, they did all of that. Parker.
Dr. Gad Saad
At the White House.
Andrew Colvett
At the White House. We're so grateful. And the day before at the Treasury.
Jack Posobiec
Department, nobody could do it like, thank.
Andrew Colvett
You, thank you to our rad family. So here's, here's Jack Posobic yesterday evening. Last evening at 262, Mark Bray was.
Jack Posobiec
Denounced by the president of Dartmouth University because of his embrace of violence. All the way back in 2017, he said, if you label someone a white supremacist, if you label someone a fascist, then he endorses violence against them. I would just say this to Rutgers. I spoke with Turning Point headquarters earlier tonight. We stand by our chapter, we will defend our chapter. And if the university wants to make an issue of it, they can find out how good our lawyers are.
Andrew Colvett
All right, so this is a really big story that's been bubbling up and it's kind of hitting a crescendo right now because I'm being asked about it. You're being asked about it.
Dr. Gad Saad
It's big.
Andrew Colvett
Mark Bray at Rutgers University. Tell us about Mark Bray.
Jack Posobiec
So Mark Bray is Dr. Antifa. This is a guy who, by the way, was run out of Dartmouth years ago, back in 2017, because of his support for violence. And he claims that antifa violence is ethically and morally justified when it is done against people who he decides are white supremacists and fascists. And he wrote a whole book on this in 2017. He wrote op eds about this. He came out, the president of Dartmouth denounced him. Then of course, Rutgers went and gave him this. And by the way, it's a part time teaching position. I just want to be very clear about that. So he came up and has been spreading this hate and domestic terrorism all throughout his tenure at Rutgers. Well, in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination, the turning Point chapter on campus was saying, look, this guy has been here for all this time. He's spreading violence. Our leader was just taken out. We don't feel safe with him on campus. He's creating a harassing and violent toxic environment for us. And we would like to see something done about him. They launch a petition, then he flies to Spain on the taxpayer dime.
Andrew Colvett
I gotta chime in on this part, like the flying to Spain part. So this is a guy who advocates for preemptive violence to take down fascists, to kill fascists. What is a fascist? A fascist to him is a conservative. So he advocates for a violent world, for us to exist amidst violence, political violence. The second the temperature gets turned up on him just a little, not that we condone any form of violence, but this guy gets a little bit of heat on him and he flies straight to Spain. Absolute coward. He cannot exist in the world that which he advocates for. And then, you know, he's taking a vacation. These kids are meanwhile getting doxed on campus. The university is launching an investigation on the kids. Not him, not him. Not on the violence that he advocates for, but on him. And so we're going to continue on this topic of cultural political violence, the rise of it. But first, I'm going to tell you about one of our partners here and that would be Done With Debt. When you're buried in credit card and loan debt, it's human nature to put it off and say I'll deal with it later. If that's you, don't do that. Here's a hidden fact that that strategy experts at Done With Debt have shared with me. They discovered a little known strategy that works in your favor to dramatically reduce your debt or even raise your debt altogether. They aggressively engage everyone you owe money to and they want to do it this fall. Why so quick? They know which lenders and credit card companies are doing year end accounting and need to cut deals. They even know which ones have year end audits and need to get your debt off the books. So use that as your point of leverage. These people, they need help too and getting your debt off their books will help them. So go to Done With Debt and talk with one of their specialists today for free. Get on it now. The sooner you do this the better. Visit donewithdebt.com that's donewithdebt.com we're going to continue this conversation after the break about the rise of political violence and we have Coach Tuberville joining us in hour one. Don't go anywhere.

All right.
Andrew Colvett
Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show, radio stations across the country. I'm Andrew Colvett. I'm the executive producer of this fine show, joined by Jackson, the one and only Human Events Daily with poso. So, yes, I went to this town hall last night. Fetterman is actually the one that's going most viral. John Fetterman, because he said, I'm not going to call conservatives fascists, right? So Fetterman is striking this civil tone. It was supposed to be this very civil debate. Chris Cuomo had reached out, asked me to be a part of it. I said, sure, I'm going to be in town. Let's do it. I'm happy to do a civil debate, a conversation. So I go there, I'm backstage, and you've got, you know, Jim Jordan, you got Ro Khanna, Stephen a. Smith, Bill O'Reilly, Chris Cuomo. They're all having these very nice. This is over at Kennedy Center, Kennedy center last night. They're all having these very nice conversations. It's all very civil. It's very chill. And then all of a sudden, my segment comes up, and they put me with this Midas touch kid, Adam Mockler, Midas toucher put. He puts the mock and mockler. And we talked backstage. He was very nice. And, you know, I was like, okay, we'll talk about new media. We'll talk about the importance of that and what's Turning Point doing. I thought it was gonna be just like this. This kid comes in and he's like, you need to disavow these young Republicans from New York. I mean, it came at me real, real hot, real hot. I had no idea that I was walking into that situation.
Jack Posobiec
Wait, can I just say, by the way, on the Fetterman piece. So Fetterman comes out, he says, I'm not going to call conservatives fascists, Right? That was the big thing last night. What do we see in Axios this morning? The Democrats are now moving to oust Fetterman. They're going to primary him in Pennsylvania.
Andrew Colvett
Oh my goodness. So, so you are no longer allowed to live civilly with your political opponents.
Jack Posobiec
You have to claim, by the way, he is a 93% Democrat voting record. So like, like he votes with the Democrats all the time on every single issue.
Andrew Colvett
It's not good enough.
Jack Posobiec
But it's not good enough because he won't call Republican. And this shows you. I'm sorry, but like we're on Charlie show, right? This shows you the mindset and the ecosystem that leads to a heinous act like this because they demand this theological fealty to. You must say the words. You must say the words. And if you don't say that, then they're going to throw you out of office.
Andrew Colvett
Well, let's, since we're on Fetterman, let's play that clip. 270 I knew. I know and I love people that voted for President Trump, but they are not fascists, they're not Nazis, they're not trying to destroy the Constitution, those things. We really got to turn the temperature down. And for that he's getting basically primaried.
Jack Posobiec
By his own party and politically speaking. So I mean, obviously we're both in Pennsylvania. So Trump wins Pennsylvania, but then Fetterman also won Pennsylvania. So he's in this same boat with like Whitmer, Josh Shapiro, a number of people who are Democrat, Bill Evers in Wisconsin, who are represent states as Democrats in places where Trump won. You see this also with Jon Ossoff in Georgia, of course in Arizona as well, which Charlie, of course is very close to.
Andrew Colvett
Yep. And this is a perfect example of this clip I'm about to play from Jimmy Kimmel of the current state of the Democrat Party. This guy is still lying. He almost lost his job. As a matter of fact, he probably will, let's be honest, because his ratings are falling off a cliff and because he's awful because of government.
Jack Posobiec
Because he's awful.
Andrew Colvett
He's not funny. His ratings are falling off a cliff. He's going to. His show will die the way it's supposed to die, which is because it's too expensive and it's unsuccessful. So that's fine. But meanwhile, despite getting a pretty stern slap on the wrist, we'll call it a slap on the wrist, that's about what it was. He's still out there saying antifa is not real and that Trump supporters are domestic terrorists. And if you want to know why conservatives are getting so upset about the rise of left wing violence. It's because of this rhetoric that is it put this sheer sheen of respectability because it shows up on the nightly news or it shows up on late night talk shows. 275Antifa is just short for antifascists. It's not a club you can join.
Terrence Bates
There are no membership dues. But they have matching signs. Okay, well I guess we better round up these domestic terrorists too.
Andrew Colvett
They look pretty matching to me.
Terrence Bates
Listen, I'm going to tell you this. Spread it around. There's no chaos in Portland. None. There is no chaos in Chicago.
Andrew Colvett
There was no chaos in Los Angeles.
Terrence Bates
They're pretending there's chaos as a pretense for a military takeover.
Andrew Colvett
I find this highly offensive on so many levels and to the point that maybe I might just throw to you, Jack, but I will say this. There is chaos in Portland and Chicago. Go try living in the south side. Go try working at a federal ICE facility. Go try being a journalist and covering the events without getting a black eye or getting, you know, a liquid cement milkshake thrown at your head. So yeah, I don't by the way. And the whole point of Antifa, Jack, and you know this better than anybody, is that it is intentionally decentralized. It is intentionally this amorphous, flexible, loose network of left wing militants, right?
Jack Posobiec
And they certainly do have tactical flow. We know there's financiers, we know there's the rest of it. But what Jimmy Kimmel is doing, remember this is playing towards that slim base that he still has left. And he has to keep repeating like recursive thoughts over and over again. We are not violent. They are violent. We are not violent. As. As, and I hate to say it, but as the left wing violence continues throughout this country. Just had bloody September. Who knows what'll be next.

President Trump's plan for mass layoffs during the ongoing government shutdown takes a bit of a hit after a federal judge in California ordered the administration to stop the firings. While she considers claims from unions representing federal workers, the unions argue the firings are illegal. Two unions representing employees at more than 30 federal agencies are now challenging the Trump firing hearings. Wednesday's ruling comes on the heels of White House Budget Director Russ Vogt saying that more than 10,000 federal workers could lose their jobs as a result of the current shutdown. Apart from trying to trim the size of the federal government, President Trump continues to focus his attention on public safety. Wednesday, he and FBI Director Cash Patel released the results of Operation Summer Heat, which is the bureau's nationwide crime crackdown from this past summer. The operation reportedly resulted in more than 2200 firearms being seized, along with 421kg of fentanyl being taken. A lot more arrests were also made. We're talking more than 8,000. That's a quick check. The hardest working radio show in the.

Business, the Charlie Kirk Show. All right. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. History, economics, the great works of literature. Did you study these things in school? Probably not. Or even if you did, maybe it's time for an enjoyable refresher course. So the folks at Hillsdale College are offering more than 40 free online courses, including their newest course on totalitarian novels. I've told you about it. I'm gonna tell you about it again because it's that great. In this free eight lecture course, you'll learn from Hillsdale College President, the legend, Dr. Larry Orne as he goes in depth on four novels 1984, Brave New World, Darkness at Noon, and that Hideous Strength. Even though these novels were written in the 1930s and 40s, they are highly relevant today as they show what a tyrannical government does to human nature. More importantly, they can show us that faith, family and friends, and this country are worth fighting for. Maybe you read these books long ago in school. Maybe you've heard others talk about them, and they seem a little intimidating. They don't have to be. Let Hillsdale help you make the most of them. Go right now to charlie for hillsdale.com to enroll. That's charlie for hillsdale.comto enroll. Charlie. C H A R L I e for hillsdale.com to enroll right now. We are, I'm told that we have the great coach Tommy Tuberville on the line. Coach, welcome to the show.
Dr. Gad Saad
Hey, Andrew, how you doing? How's it going?
Andrew Colvett
I'm doing all right, coach. Thank you so much. And I want to start this, by the way, I'm also joined by Jack Posobec. I know you can't see him on. On camera just yet, but I'm here, coach.
Jack Posobiec
I'm here.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, there we go.
Dr. Gad Saad
There.
Andrew Colvett
We got the three up. Coach, this is your first time joining the show since everything happened, so I want to start there. There's a lot we need to get to, but let's start there. Charlie loved you, coach. He believed in you. He knew you were one of the fighters in Washington. Now you're. You're working on a gubernatorial campaign in the great state of Alabama. But maybe just start there. Reflect on what this month has meant to you and kind of where you're at.
Dr. Gad Saad
Yeah, I met Charlie six, seven years ago. He helped me in my campaign for the Senate seat, and we got to be good friends. I saw him at the White House a couple of times during the campaign. And just over the last year since President Trump got elected, he and I were put on the Air Force, basically the academy board, and to try to work with Air Force Academy to try to help our young leaders of the future. And Charlie and I had several conversations, and we were really outspoken. A lot of things that need to be changed. And again, Charlie was. He was one of a kind. And you always enjoy talking to him because you'd always learn something. I learned something a long time ago. You speak a third of the time, you listen two thirds of the time. And if I could have listened all day to Charlie. But it's a. It's a shame of what's happened. Seemed like this yesterday but his memory will go on and his teachings because he did so much for young kids. I spent my life on college campuses and Lord have mercy, how much we needed somebody like Charlie and now Erica and you guys and everybody on board going in that direction. We have to continue that ministry on college campuses. That's where it starts. That's where we're going to change our country. And Charlie was on the right track.
Andrew Colvett
Well, and Coach, I just have to say thank you on behalf of everybody at Turning Point USA for joining us on November 5th. An upcoming event, Campus Stops going to be Huge with alongside Eric Trump, Lara Trump and Benny Johnson on November 5th. I think we've got that graphic, guys, if you can throw it up, you are going to be helping us kick that event off in November 5th at Auburn University, a place you know just a little bit about. Coach, maybe tell us why you felt like you needed to be a part of this.
Dr. Gad Saad
Well, first of all, we'd working on this with Charlie before he lost his life and he wanted to come to Auburn. We were working out the details and obviously now things have changed, but it hadn't changed in the fact that we're still going to bring his thoughts and memory to Auburn. My understanding is it's gonna be a hard ticket to get. We've got a lot of great Americans on that campus that really love Charlie and want to continue on. And again, I hate to say this, but things have really even multiplied even after what happened to Charlie. But again, his memory is coming to Auburn. Again, we've got a great group of Benny and Laura and Eric. I look forward to seeing them. I'll actually leave dc, come back, fly back, just. I live only three or four blocks from the campus. So I'm looking forward to Turning Point, coming to Auburn and sharing a lot of thoughts about about the future of Turning Point. And of course, Eric and Laura come in there. They'll bring a lot of other insight. Benny also. But I'm just looking forward to be around college kids again and having a chance, an opportunity to kick something off that I think it's going to be pretty special in the Auburn area and the Auburn arena around, you know, 10,000 people or so that will grab a hold and keep this thing going.
Andrew Colvett
Well, God bless you for it. And you know, Erica Kirk has been a stalwart. She has been very firm. We are going to 10x turning point. We are going to grow the movement that Charlie started and that his death has ushered in this groundswell of enthusiasm and patriotism. We're committed to it. It's a sacred duty. And it's folks like you throwing in and pitching in and making sure that your influence is heard, that kids get to hear from you directly. That makes me very, very confident that we are going to take the baton from Charlie and run with it as best we can. But God's going to bless it. I truly believe it. And so thank you for making the time. And Senator, it's a huge blessing to us. Now, something else you and Charlie shared, and I've mentioned this on the show before, is that towards the end of his life, Charlie, probably more than any other issue, raised the alarm bells about the rise of Islam in the West. Obviously he had just visited London and the uk, saw it up close and personal, realized half the TV channels were in a different language, mostly, mostly Middle Eastern languages, I think that's safe to say. And it really disturbed him. And then we saw these different communities within the United States trying to put together Muslim centric cultures and sort of, you know, having mosques and having an HOA that was basically paying towards a mosque and Epic City, I think is what they called it in Texas. But there's other examples. Dearborn, Michigan, there's a rising tide of Islam in the West. And Coach, you are introducing legislation to ban Sharia law in the United States. Tell us about it.
Dr. Gad Saad
Well, first of all, this is a great country, greatest country ever on the face of the earth. We have freedoms, we have a constitution. And you have the right to come here and be a part of this country. The, the thing that you don't have the right to do is to attack our constitution. Other religions speak out against America, speak out against Americans. Death to America. That's wrong. Sharia law is not going to fit here. It got no chance. Charlie and I had talked, talked about this recently before his death and he was starting on that campaign. I'm going to continue that campaign in his name because we have a great country, but we can't. If you don't assimilate with America and love our flag and love our people and put, put your foot forward to help make this country greater instead of downgrade it, you have no place here. So we need to ban Sharia law and we need to make sure that anything that is done towards American people, if spoken out against, I don't care what it is, if you speak out against this country, and right now it's mostly come from radical Islamists, then you don't deserve to be here. So it's time to make a stand. Charlie started it. We're going to continue on with it, and we're going to stand up for what we believe in, and that's the greatest country on the face of the earth.
Andrew Colvett
Well said, sir. Well said, Jack.
Jack Posobiec
Well, Coach, I want to say thank you so much for coming on. And I know Charlie shared so many of the values that you fight for, for so many of the values that it seems that as a country, we seem to have forgotten about many times. And unfortunately, one of those values is the idea of being civil. And Andrew and I have been sitting here talking today and really for the past month about the violence that we've seen come from these elements on the far left. And, Coach, what is it that.
Dr. Gad Saad
That.
Jack Posobiec
That drives them to be so. So directly violent? And you have your. Your colleague, John Fetterman. He came out last night and he's on this panel with Andrew and says, well, I don't think we should call Republicans fascists. And we wake up this morning and Democrats are trying to primary him out of office in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Gad Saad
Yeah, John's one of the few that speaks out for America on the. On the Democratic side. Right now, they are just moving in the direction of socialism and fascism and communism. You name it. They're trying to do it because they want power. They don't want anything better for our country. They want. They want people to join their cause, to tear our country down, to make something different than what it is, what it was and how it was built. We've made it 250, almost 250 years. We'll celebrate that next year. And constitutional republics and any kind of democracy never really last past that point. And so we have other people that want to change us to what they are. Europe is gone. They've lost it. The immigration system in Europe has, in Most, I'd say 90% of the countries has overtaken them. I don't know whether they can regain it, but they want the Big Apple, okay? They want the United States of America. And we better wake up and smell the roses. The thing that Charlie was speaking about and let people know that this is not a socialist country. This is not a country that's taken over by a certain religion. We have a set of rules. We have a game plan is called the American Constitution, and we're not going to change that. And we'll fight for it. We have before, and if we have to fight for it here, we'll fight for it here. But we are going to let our kids and grandkids have what we've all had to grow in the future. Of the greatest country ever.
Andrew Colvett
Well said, sir. You know, we, I've commented on this that I did not feel, I didn't even really internalize the fact that there was a government shutdown going on. This is something that you are actively involved in being a part of the Senate. I got to D.C. and it's like, oh, I can feel the shutdown here. This is like the one place where you can, you can feel it. I understand that eventually some of these paychecks for our servicemen, you know, might get held out, but luckily we found like a stopgap for that in the short term. Tell us about the shutdown. Are you optimistic it's going to end soon or the Democrats just going to, you know, be, not be moved, not be budged in this fight for health care for, I don't know, illegals?
Dr. Gad Saad
Yeah. Well, here's, here's what you got to understand. It's the craziest thing I've ever been around and I've been around a lot of crazy stuff in the last five years in the Biden administration. And now thank goodness President Trump got elected. But this is the budget that we've had for the last four years and every Democrat has voted for it. Now all of a sudden, President Trump is not in office. He's trying to make changes. He's trying to get his head above water in terms of what the Biden administration did to our country, executive and executive branch. So he's trying, he's doing everything he possibly. The problem is the Democrats don't like it and so now they want to change the narrative. Okay, we want a trillion and a half more dollars in this budget. Wait a minute. We're spending 2 trillion more than American taxpayers send already we're 2 million, 2 trillion over, over the budget. And so we really need to cut it, not be. They want to add a trillion and a half. They want 50 billion for illegal aliens, health care insurance and they want to take away the, the $50 billion that was in one big beautiful field that will take care of rural hospitals. We cannot do that. It is needed all across this country.
Andrew Colvett
And I gotta hit a break. Senator. Hang right there. Gotta hit a break. Thank you.

And as the number one podcaster, iHeart's twice as large as the next two combined. So whatever your customers are into true crime, sports, comedy, culture, they'll hear your message. Plus, only iHeart can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio. And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for you. Think podcasting can help your business? Think iHeart streaming radio and podcasting. Let us show you@iheartadvertising.com that's iheartadvertising.com or call 844-844-IHEART. One more time, call 844-844, IHEART and get podcasting working for you. Welcome back, Rav. One second. Okay, Studio says we can keep going. Perfect. So, Coach, what is your message? I mean, because we understand that there's this fight over the $1.3 trillion in health care for working men and women, as they like to say, but it's actually way, way more sinister than that because a lot of these are illegals. But what's your message? Because we know there's actually just a political calculus at play here. Chuck Schumer is worried about his left flank. He took a lot of incoming from his own party when he went with the CR last time. He's worried about AOC primarying him. She was on a town hall with Bernie Sanders last night on CNN with Kaitlan Collins. We know that there's just, there's just pure partisan politics at play here with Democrats and they don't want to budge. What's your message to them?
Dr. Gad Saad
Well, they don't care about the American people. They're worried more about politics, power. Schumer, as you said, he voted for the cr. He really didn't want to. Back in the spring, President Trump's first cr, he voted for it and he took a shellacking from the AOCs, the far left progressives of the Democratic Party. And so he knows this time if he votes for it, he's dead meat. He will not be back in the Senate after next year. Run against him and beat him. So that's his problem.
Andrew Colvett
Yep. No, I agree with you, Coach. And he's got a heck of a, heck of a party to try and wrangle in. I mean we sometimes joke that the conservative movement is a bunch of raucous, independent minded, hard to, hard to control people. But I actually think that the divide between sort of these moderate old school Democrats and the new left might be even more dramatic. I mean, you know, to put a finer point on what we talked about earlier, Jack, it's the left wing of the Democrat Party, that Democrat Socials of America communist that is actually advocating for political violence. Coach, we are so honored to have you again. I know what a, how much faith Charlie put in you, how much belief he had and we, we wish you all the best in your gubernatorial run in the great state of Alabama. And we will be seeing you in Auburn in just a few weeks.

Andrew Colvett

Andrew Colvett
Jack. I mean ultimately that is what we're seeing kind of play out in places like London and now New York. And we have the debate, huge debate that's going to be taking place tonight between Andrew Cuomo Sliwa and Mamdani.
Jack Posobiec
Mamdani. And so tonight in lieu of Thought crime or you know, we're still doing the thought crime show but it's actually going to be as Charlie would have wanted, by the way, a debate watch and then a debate reaction show. So I want everyone to tune in this evening. I think the debate starts 7pm Eastern. So you don't need to worry about going to some other channel. We will be streaming the program tonight on Charlie Kirk on the, on the Charlie Kirk platforms. Platforms and all the platforms. And then we'll be coming on afterwards. Andrew, actually you're going to be.

So. And you get to talk to Mikey which is, you know, who wouldn't want.
Jack Posobiec
To talk to Mikey?
Andrew Colvett
I mean it's a big deal. So yeah, listen, you know, look at this. You see. Go ahead and throw up. Image 278. This is from July 7th. The conservative movement needs to focus more time, energy and focus on how Islam is rapidly taking over the West. That's a Charlie tweet. 278. We could go to another one. 279.
Jack Posobiec
Which year is that? That's this year.
Andrew Colvett
This year and September 3rd. This is seven days before you hear a lot of pundits fear Monger about the rise of Christian nationalism right in front of their eyes. Islam is taking over public places and gaining political power. Islam is a fundamentally political ideology that aims to conquer US military militarily or demographically. This is absolutely right. 277. Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America. So it's a really.
Jack Posobiec
Can I. Can I just say that. Yeah, that was September 9th.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah. I mean, here's. Here's August 7th. Mass import. Islam destroy America. It's that simple. Charlie was. Was raising the alarm bell. He was. He was being as loud as he could about this issue. I will not forget it.
Jack Posobiec
You know, what it was is because he went to Oxford and Cambridge, because he was over there in London and he saw it with his own eyes. That was one. Not the last foreign trip, but one of the last big trips that he did outside of the country. And he came back and the very first thing he did was identify what the problem was. And he just boiled it down to its. Down to its bones, down to its very DNA, as only Charlie could do, and said, guys, they're ahead of us, but we're on the same path. We're on the very same path with Islam. And then he was over there seeing what was happening. Obviously he saw how bad the infiltration on campus was, but he saw it around the cities as well. And we saw, of course, the huge rally for Tommy Robinson, which had already been pre. Scheduled the same week that Charlie was killed. And that. That was very much a repudiation of the mass migration of Islam and third worlders into London. And then. And then, because Charlie was murdered three days prior, I forgot the dates right there. It just became this connection of Charlie and Christianity and Western civilization sort of all mixed together.
Andrew Colvett
Charlie's mantra at the end was, save the West. Save the West. Save the West. And I think he. He had wanted to travel internationally in 2023, 2024, but he said, america first. We're going to stay domestic. We're going to stay focused here at home. We win the election. And he finally allowed himself to schedule a few trips. And so of course, he went to London, but then he went to Korea, South Korea and Japan as well. I'm so glad he got to do that. I'm so grateful. Because he really liked it. Yeah, he actually liked it. He loved how clean it was. And he was reminded that we don't have to live this way. We do not have to live with crime and filth. I mean, it's optional and, yeah, it's it's all about political will. We learn this with the border and so many other things. Listen, we are going to be joined by Dr. Gad Saad in the second hour. Charlie loved his long conversation with Dr. Saad. We're going to have one here and we're going to let Jack and Dr. Saad bury the hatchet. It's going to be great. What are you talking about? I don't know. Hatchets to be very. No, we love Dr. Saad. We're honored to have him in just a few minutes. So hour two starts at the top of the next hour. Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back.

Terrence Bates
Welcome back to this real America's Voice news break. I'm Terrence Bates. One of the lesser known facts about the body is its ability to renew itself, even in areas we once thought couldn't regenerate. This woman that I'm about to introduce you to is a witness, and it's all thanks to her work with Energized Health.
Jack Posobiec
Mental clarity is amazing.
Terrence Bates
I hadn't been able to basically feel.
Andrew Colvett
My feet for about a year and a half, and I just realized last week after the cat ran across them.
Terrence Bates
And they hurt, that I can really feel them again. I don't have pain in my back.
Andrew Colvett
I can get on the floor and get back, back up without help when I'm playing with my grandkids.
Jack Posobiec
The peace that I have since I.
Andrew Colvett
Started is absolutely incredible. I'm an entirely different person.
Terrence Bates
The man who helped her out is right there on your screen. John Jubilee, the founder and CEO of Energized Health. John, good to see you. Great to see you, Terrence. So let's talk about some of the areas where the body can kind of rejuvenate itself. And how does hydration actually help support that sort of healing? Yeah, well, first of all, you know what, what a great story. You know, so, Terence, a lot of people have neuropathy or they have nerve damage because, or poor circulation. And so what a cool thing that someone said, hey, that was a good feeling that my feet hurt because I had a cat run across those cat cloths. But, you know, anyone that has any type of, you know, neuropathy or sometimes what they call, you know, drop foot, you know, a dead foot, you know, those type of things, you know, the sleeping issues, the brain fog, you know, when you get that healthy circulation going, Terence, through that intercellular hydration, you really can reverse those things. And, you know And I love hearing about, you know, not just parents, but grandparents, right? So here's grandparents. That lady said, terence, she's getting down on the floor, up and down off the floor as a grandparent, playing with their grandkids. And, you know, that's creating a legacy. When you can actually be an active participant in your grandchildren's lives, that's going to leave a legacy. Your grandkids will never forget that grandma or grandpa was getting up and down off the floor playing with them. Terrence. And there's an amazing medical study that came out that said longitudity of life is basically now tied to one thing, which is strength. Strength. The stronger we are, Terence, the longer and better we're going to live. And our muscles are 75% water. They're 75% water. So that's the power of intercellular hydration. It gives us our lean muscle mass, which gives us our strength, which gives us a long, amazing life. And it's my understanding that this intercellular hydration that you talk about also could help us with our brain, kind of getting those neurons and protons firing, well, thousand percent. You know, our brain is 70% water. Our brain is mostly water. And our brain and our heart are electromagnetic devices. They are electrical. And how come nobody would get in the bathtub and turn on their blow dryer and throw it in the bathtub? Because everyone knows water conducts electricity. You would get electrocuted. It's the same in your brain. The more hydration you have in the brain, the more electrical conductivity you have. So you have way more neurotransmitters and brain synapses firing in there. Terrence. The brain. There's three things in a human body that never age. Your voice always stays the same. The voice doesn't age. That's why you'll see some 80 year olds singing just like they did when they're 20. Your eyes always look the same. Your eyes don't age. That's why they can use a retinal scan, because the eye never changes and our brain actually never ages. It only gets dehydrated. If it gets dehydrated, that's when we lose our memory. That's when we lose brain function. So we can always get that back with our intercellular hydration. Interesting. Quickly, in 20 seconds, folks who are interested, how can they find you? Well, best thing to do now, guys, is go to my555challenge.com. We got a challenge coming up where we'll share the science with you. Chelsea and I. My wife is so Fun, guys. She makes science entertaining. It's $5. It's $5. Come and just spend like having a cup of coffee with John and Chelsea for five days. My555challenge.com all right, folks, it's right there on the bottom of your screen.
Dr. Gad Saad
It all right.
Andrew Colvett
Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. Andrew Colvid in here, executive producer of this show, joined by Jack Posobec, host of Human Events Daily with Jack Posovic. So honored to have our Next guest here. Dr. Gad Saad, who is a great friend of the show, has been a great friend to Charlie Kirk. He is also a scholar. I want to get this title right because he has he's actually a new wonderful title, Dr. Gadsad Scholar at the Declaration of Independence center for the Study of American Freedom at University of Mississippi. He's also the author of a bunch of amazing books, the Parasitic Mind. He's working on a new one. I want to talk to him about that. Dr. Saad, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show and thank you for making the time.
Terrence Bates
Oh, thank you so much for having me. Cheers.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah. Well, Dr. Saad, I want to let you start where, you know, I think it makes sense most and that is, you know, we haven't had you back on the show since, you know, Charlie was taken from us on September 10th. And I just want to give you a chance to reflect on what this last month plus has has meant to you and just let you reflect on what a loss we've all suffered.
Terrence Bates
I mean, I sort of oscillated from sadness to anger only maybe, I think it was maybe a month prior to the tragic day I had appeared on the show with Charlie. And I, I've told the story before, but it's worth repeating here. You know, I've spoken to many wonderful people, you know, throughout my professional career, many of whom have come on my show, I mean, really, really top people. My daughter, who's 16 years old, never asked for me to introduce her to anybody. When I was appearing on Charlie's show this last time, she came home excitedly and said, could you please just introduce me to Charlie? And so that kind of gives you a sense. I'm 61 years old and a fan of Charlie and my 16 year old is a fan of Charlie. So it is an immeasurable tragedy. But here we are promoting his legacy. So hopefully he lives on in all our hearts and minds.
Andrew Colvett
And Dr. Saad, maybe that's the next best place to start is, you know, you talk about his legacy. I don't typically Throw this question out to people. But you are a public intellectual. You are a great thinker. You have a way of distilling ideas. What is Charlie's legacy in your mind, and what do you hope that it will grow into?
Terrence Bates
You know, there are several ways by which I could answer this question. I'll take a stab at one or two ways. Number one, you know, in chapter. In the last chapter of the Parasitic Mind, I ask people to activate their inner honey badger. And I use that terminology because the honey badger has been officially classified as the most fierce animal in the animal kingdom. Now, I don't mean when I say activate your inner honey badger for you to be violently ferocious, but it means, you know, get off the couch and do big things, stand tall. And Charlie was not only physically tall at 6 foot 4, but he was a tall honey badger that at 18 years old, when most of us are worried about how we're going to get through the next day, as you know, with teenaged angst, he starts off something that is absolutely impossible, that most people in their 80s wouldn't dare start. And so, first of all, the fact that he had the chutzpah, right, which is a Yiddish word for sort of existential gall, the fact that he had the confidence to say, at 18 years old, I'm not going to university. I've got better ways to be able to contribute to the cause is something that we could all cherish and be inspired by. But then the fact that he was able to cater to the young people, to get involved, to get excited, so that my daughter is not asking me to introduce her to Elon Musk, but is asking me to introduce her to Charlie Kirk, that says everything you need to hear about his legacy. He is a unique individual in that he had the intellect, he had the political ability to organize, he had the warmth, right? He always has a smile. Even when he's engaging in difficult debates, he's warm, he's engaging. So he's an immeasurable loss. Truly one in a generation type of fellow.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, absolutely. Giant of our generation. But his memory and his legacy will live on. And, you know, we're committed at turning point on the show to growing it, to expanding it as best we can, and the outpouring of love and support that we've seen both at the show, but the students on campuses has been truly, truly wonderful and heartening to see. Now, Dr. Saad, we are going to get into some news of the day with you because you have a way of making sense of the chaos, unlike Few can. But I do want to pick up on something we touched on in the previous hour, and that is the rise of Islam. It's something you and Charlie talked a lot about. And I just want to play one clip from a conversation that you had with Charlie on this show. 290. What would you said the west is a woman to be mounted.
Jack Posobiec
That is the Islamic creed.
Andrew Colvett
Remind us of it.
Terrence Bates
Yes. I would repeatedly hear from Arabic speaking, Muslim speaking immigrants, in this case it was in Canada, always say that the west is a woman to be mounted. And what the reflex that that captures is that all of the virtues that we think as laudable in the west, compassion, magnanimity, generosity, empathy, are heard as weakness, weakness, weakness and weakness by cultures that don't necessarily share our infinite largesse. And so it's exactly what they're saying. West is weak, it's a woman, therefore, really quick.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, powerful stuff. And we've seen those clips go viral where you can actually hear them in their own words say, the west is a woman to be mounted. Especially I think the clip that I've seen was from the uk, a place that Charlie visited relatively recently before. I mean, soon before the tragic events of September 10th happened. And so he saw it up close and you had zeroed in on this idea of suicidal empathy. This, this. It's almost an opening that both the left and Islam were exploiting.
Terrence Bates
Exactly. Maybe I could give you a quick synopsis of the framework of suicidal empathy. Many people have wrongly presumed that. What I mean by suicidal empathy is that empathy is a bad thing. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. We are a social species and therefore it makes perfect evolutionary sense that empathy would be part of our repertoire of possible strategies. Right. For you and I to have a meaningful conversation, I need to put myself in your mind and vice versa. That's called theory of mind, which is part of cognitive empathy. Autistic children, for example, fail a theory of mind test. This is how we diagnose them as being autistic. So empathy, when properly modulated to the right targets in the right situations and the right amounts, and is a perfectly relevant and appropriate evolutionary response. The problem arises, as is the case with many psychiatric disorders, when you have a dysregulation of this otherwise beneficial virtue. Right? So, for example, laughter is great, Right. It has medicinal properties. But then you could have pseudobulbar effect, what the joker in the movie had where he, because of abuse, he starts laughing uncontrollably in wrong situations, or the way Kamala Harris can cackle the way that she does that becomes an inappropriate form of laughter. And so suicidal empathy takes this beautiful virtue and then because it becomes dysregulated, it becomes hyperactive and it targets the wrong targets, leads to the demise of the West. And unless we get rid of this reflex really quickly, I can assure you that the west will fall. It might take five years, it might take 50 years, or it might take 500 years, but it will fall the way many other societies have.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, no, that's really well said. You know, and I think of basically what MAGA is, what conservatism has transformed into in large part thanks to President Trump, but also to Charlie Kirk and others, is that it now has a muscularness to it, it has a backbone, it has a fighting chance. Ultimately, that's why the left hates it so much, because it's effective, because it is the, it is the antiven, it is the counteraction to what the left has been doing in this country since essentially Post World War II in the invasion, the move in our institutions, the long march through the institutions of progressivism, of liberalism in a negative sense, obviously, in that second sense, in the second word. But yeah, this is the anti venom of what we've, what we're doing at maga, what we're doing in the conservative movement. President Trump, that's why the fight is so intense. Dr. Sab, we're going to continue in the break. I've got to say bye to radio for one second here and we'll be right back. All right, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. We're going to roll through the breaks with Dr. Saad because it's just, there's just too much to get to. I want to share with the audience a little bit of breaking news right now. President Trump has just concluded his call with Vladimir Putin. They've been on a very long call and it looks like he's saying that they have agreed to send high ranking delegates led by Marco Rubio to meet and then they are going to, after that meeting with high level advisors, the United States will be meeting or President Trump will be meeting with Putin in Budapest. So President Trump, hot off the heels of getting peace in the Middle east, is now going to be meeting with President Putin in the near term. So hopefully we can get that, as he calls it, inglorious war between Russia and Ukraine brought to an end. He is going to be meeting with President Zelensky tomorrow here in Washington D.C. so, Jack, that feels like a good time to throw to you. You are, you do have a Bit of a feel for Eastern Europe as well as war analysis in general.
Jack Posobiec
Yeah. No, I mean, look, I've traveled to the war a couple weeks after it started in, back in March of 2022. Excuse me, May of 2022. I've been to Budapest a few times. I was at the Anchorage meeting. I accompany the president's delegation as a new media member there aboard Air Force One when he met with Putin.
Andrew Colvett
Just in Alaska.
Jack Posobiec
Just a few weeks ago in Alaska. So I was in the room with himself, Putin, Lavrov, all the rest. And what can I say? Looks like I'm going to Budapest.
Andrew Colvett
Oh, wow. There you go, Dr. Saad. And we'll keep Jack involved, and I want to make sure we're working in Jack here.
Terrence Bates
No, no, please.
Andrew Colvett
But Dr. Saad, maybe comment really quickly. We've been told that American leadership on the world stage was coming to an end, that Trump was going to ruin America's standing in the world. And yet here he is, pulling off win after win after win, achieving peace. Tie that into what it means for the west that America's leadership is strong and robust, and we're leading the way.
Terrence Bates
Look, to go back to our earlier conversation where many Muslims say the west is a woman to be mounted. President Trump lives in the real world, where he actually understands human nature. He may not call himself an evolutionary psychologist, but he is an evolutionary psychologist because throughout his long and successful life, he's had to deal with many people, whether it be in his real estate life or in his TV life, where his ability to succeed in those forums stems from his, you know, understanding of human nature. And so having people like Joe Biden and the others, super sweet and kind and empathetic diplomats who cross their legs like Justin Trudeau might look nice because you could show off your really colorful socks, but that's not. That's not what really nasty folks around the world respect, right? So under, you know, I come from the Middle East. In the Middle east, we have the. The creed, right? Might is right. Or as you probably, of course, know, the old term, you know, if you wish to have peace, prepare for war. There are endless, you know, military dictums that speak to the fact that it's nice to have a velvet glove while you're shaking someone's hands, but make sure that behind your back, you have a really big stick, right? As you also know, speak softly but carry a big stick, right? So all of these maxims exist throughout history because the world doesn't exist in a utopia, in a democratic, progressive utopia. It exists in the real world, where people respect might and Donald Trump exemplifies that. That's why you're seeing win after win.
Andrew Colvett
Well, Dr. Saad, you know, you're reminding me of something you said on the show with Charlie years ago. I remember it very clearly because we were at Berkeley and he was about to do a campus stop at Berkeley and a tabling stop there, and we had to do the show. So we set up in some back room, we set up kind of a mobile studio in some back room at Berkeley and you guys were talking about gender ideology and the transing of youth and this. And. But it relates to this conversation too, the line you used and he stole it. I don't know that he always gave you attribution, but I remember hearing it and going, oh, that's a good line. I texted you. He's like, oh, totally. That's great. But you said the pesky shackles of reality. The pesky shackles of reality. These things. Like, you might think you can fly, but you're going to jump off a building and find out really quick that gravity still pulls you down. You might think that the rules of nature, nature's God, don't apply to, to you, but just test nature's God and find out. So I love that because you are a realist. Trump is a pragmatist and he knows that the vile monsters on the stage, it's better to work with them. It's better to have them fear you and respect you than to be cowed by them. So we're going to welcome back national radio more with Dr. Gadsad and Jack Posobic in just one minute. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. I'm Andrew Colvitt, executive producer of this fine show, which is of course the Charlie Kirk Show. Joined by Jack Posobic, Human Events Daily. Also a Turning Point USA friend and contributor, Jack Dr. Sad. I'm a little upset at Jack right now because Jack spilled the news that I spilled coffee in.
Jack Posobiec
It's not all that's being spilled around here.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, and now you're spilling tea, coffee, all the things. But, but listen, I, I love this because, well, I don't love the coffee spill. There's like memes being made.
Jack Posobiec
I warned him about the Keurig. I said, we got a bum Keurig in here. And he did not heed my warning.
Andrew Colvett
And my coffee right here, by the.
Terrence Bates
Way, I have a. So I have a bone to thick with both of you. I don't like to be on a show where the hosts are both extremely good looking. It's pissing me off.
Andrew Colvett
No, you know, come back when Blake is here then. Blake was a handsome man. We're gonna get him married anyways. Here. Here's when he joins the nunnery. What's funny is we have teams that clip the show and like, some of them are connected with us and they're our staff and others, they just kind of come in and out. One of those ones that just come in and out basically told me this morning that Jack looks much better than me. And I said, okay, that's fine. That's a weird observation.
Jack Posobiec
Do you do push ups this morning?
Andrew Colvett
I did not do my push ups.
Terrence Bates
Ah, that's what I was doing.
Andrew Colvett
I woke up early to get to the Fox. That's what.
Jack Posobiec
He didn't do his push ups this morning.
Andrew Colvett
So. You know what I Love here, though, Dr. Sat, is that you and Jack Posobic are on a show together. I think you and Jack have disagreed on minor, honestly, very minor things in the past. But in this post era of this post Charlie era, we all have to come together and I love that. And you know, I feel like if you look at the medal ceremony, Dr. Saad, you had all these Fox hosts, you had senators and congressmen that don't always see eye to eye coming together to celebrate Charlie. And so I'm just glad this moment is happening. And Jack, I don't know.
Jack Posobiec
Well, no, I actually, the question that I had and honestly was, you know, really to kind of pick your brain because you have such a good theory of mind of the left and such a good theory of mind of you have this ability to really get into what makes them tick. And one of the things that we've all been Grappling with here, Dr. Saad, is this, this idea that there was this kid Tyler Robinson, an ex Mormon or comes from a Mormon family, would then find himself on a roof hundreds of miles away from where he lives in a relationship with a trans boyfriend. So a biological male who was transitioning to a female and then somehow thinks he's defending his boyfriend by and again, allegedly, legally speaking, pulling a trigger and shooting Charlie Kirk. And I wonder at all if you could possibly attempt to unpack that twisted psychology for us.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, thank you for that question. So I don't know if you guys have heard me discuss the difference between deonthological ethics and consequentialist ethics, so it might be worth repeating it here, even if some of the viewers might be familiar with it. The ontological ethics are absolute statements. So for example, if I say it is never okay to lie, that would be the ontological statement. If I were to say it's okay to lie to spare someone's feelings, I would be engaging in consequentialism. And of course, for many things in life, we are all consequentialists. I always joke, although I'm being serious, that if you wish to have a long, happy marriage, if you hear the following question, do I look fat in those jeans? Very quickly, put on your consequentialist hat. And even if you have to slightly lie, you're doing it because you love your spouse and you don't want to hurt her feelings. So that's perfectly fine. But when it comes to certain foundational principles that certainly define the unique American experience, presumption of innocence in the courtroom, freedom of speech, freedom of inquiry, those things cannot be consequentialist principles, right? So if I say I believe in freedom of speech, but not if you marginalize a particular group, then I'm succumbing to consequentialism. So to now wrap that up to your question, I think what this. The. The alleged assassin has done is he's drank from the Kool Aid of the pool of consequentialism, which basically says, Charlie Kirk is such a dangerous guy that the deontological principle of freedom of speech and exchange of ideas no longer applies to Charlie Kirk. He is saying words that are akin to violence. So if I stand on that rooftop and take him out, boy, I should be lauded as a hero rather than be put in prison. So that's what makes consequentialism so dangerous.
Jack Posobiec
And so in his mind, it's almost like he feels as though he's defending his boyfriend, his lover. Again, we don't know all the specific details there, but I'm just going off of what we've seen, and it's a complete. You talk about the suicidal toxic empathy, it seems like it's almost that suicidal empathy, but in the person of one individual here.
Terrence Bates
Well, exactly. That's why. So suicidal empathy is targeting the wrong targets, Right? We love the Hamas fighters, but we have no empathy for the Jews. So there is no empathy for Charlie Kirk and his right to speak freely. There is only empathy for the trans community.
Dr. Gad Saad
Right.
Jack Posobiec
Or his wife, his children, his friends.
Andrew Colvett
And everyone else and so on. Dr. Gad said we're going to keep going through the breaks because it's just too good. Jack Bosobic, hang right there. We're going to take a quick break. We'll be right Back.
Terrence Bates
Terrence Bates here with your Real America's Voice news break. Liberty University's 2025 CEO Summit is underway as we speak. Ralph's Washington correspondent, Britt McHenry and Dave Bratt are there right now covering it for us. Good morning to both of you guys. Britt, I have to admit I was eavesdropping on you a little bit. And it appears you've confirmed your heritage while attending this summit.
Andrew Colvett
Yes, as we know, America First. But with Edward Puts, the Speaker of the Northern Ireland House, he said that McHenry is actually Northern Irish, which is.
Jack Posobiec
Great because we haven't really known in.
Andrew Colvett
My family throughout the lineage. But no, really have had some rock star speakers here. There's a big focus on women today, a lot of panelists as well. What else should we be aware of? First lady of Virginia is with 150 women CEOs across the street. We just had Tenille Walaya come in. She's been a longtime attendee, runs Microsoft, artificial intelligence, DoD artificial intelligence. Today, our keynotes.
Terrence Bates
We have Brian Westbury standing right over here. He's got one of the biggest financial.
Andrew Colvett
Newsletters in the country.
Terrence Bates
Tonight, we also have Pat Gelsinger, one of the biggest names out in Silicon.
Andrew Colvett
Valley, starting a new faith group out there. He huge and growing in Silicon Valley. People aren't aware of that.
Terrence Bates
And then tonight, we also have Doug DeVos.
Andrew Colvett
He's the chairman of Amway Grand Rapids.
Terrence Bates
Michigan, and he'll be with us tomorrow, 15,000 live students worshiping together.
Andrew Colvett
And Doug DeVos will be the keynote at the convocation. And EPA Administrator Lee Belden has been a hit. Everybody's been talking about his remarks last night. What can you say about the keynote speakers who are heavy hitters? Last night? Lee Zeldin hit it out of the park. Everyone said, I couldn't believe how great that was. And then General Flynn went off like a Baptist preacher. He says, I was raised Catholic and I'm Catholic.
Terrence Bates
I said, man, you sound like a Baptist.
Andrew Colvett
Last night, he was ranting and doing great. And then Liz Truss, kind of for me, she's my favorite. She's the former prime Minister of the United Kingdom. And she hit it out of the park as well. She was very impressive. Impressive. So, Terrence, the rock stars keep coming. It's been a really successful summit so far. Yeah. Thanks to Rab.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. Thank you guys for your reporting. Sounds like lots of fun. And of course, we'll have continued coverage here on Real America's Voice.
Andrew Colvett
Dad said waking up the woke.
Terrence Bates
You should get over that.
Andrew Colvett
Quickly, one brainwashed radical at a time.
Terrence Bates
That's enough.
Andrew Colvett
It's the Charlie Kirk Show. All right, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. Andrew Colvett here, executive producer of the show, joined with Jack Posobic, who's helping me out today since Blake is on the road. Thank you very much for that.
Jack Posobiec
And you needed a lot of paper towels after he spilled his Keurig coffee all over himself.
Andrew Colvett
I was lucky it didn't get on the computer.
Jack Posobiec
Well, you kind of left your phone, but then I had to go and save your phone, so.
Andrew Colvett
Well, I appreciate that the drama unfolds continually here behind the scenes at the Charlie Kirk Show.
Jack Posobiec
Indeed.
Andrew Colvett
You had a question for Dr. Said.
Terrence Bates
Dr. Said.
Jack Posobiec
So, you know, we've identified this. It's, it's spreading. You've talked about it as if it's a parasite which, which continues. But we're also talking about antivenom. We're also talking about potential cures. Is there a way to reach people who. And again, perhaps not so that are some that are so far gone that they would pull the trigger themselves. But we also saw in the wake of Charlie's murder, thousands upon thousands of people taking to social media, celebrating, clapping, cheering this on. And these were not card carrying members of Antifa. These were people in positions of authority there. You saw your pilots, you had doctors, nurses, HR departments all over the place where people seem to share in this belief. Is there any way to kind of break them out of this?
Terrence Bates
Yeah, that's a, that's a great question and one that I struggle with often when I'm trying to decide whether to engage in someone in terms of whether I could flip them if I could administer the mind vaccine to them or not. And it's not always obvious that your, your time is not going to be wasted on some people. But I do think, and maybe here I'm being naively optimistic, I do think that with enough showing of the evidence, people can come around, but it takes a lot of dogged efforts. So for example, I had a person who In 2010, I had had a very, very difficult email exchange with. Well, it took her 14 years, but then last year she came around and said, oh boy, I wish I could have listened to you. Back in 2010, she was one of those super progressive liberal Jews who was very upset that I was saying some detrimental things about Islam because her friend is a Muslim woman and she's very peaceful and kind and empathetic. And I was, you know, not adding to the ecosystem of love by spreading hateful things. About Islam and so on. Well, 14 years later she said, oops, I guess I was wrong. So I'd like to think that with enough evidence, people can potentially be reached. But here's where I'm going to hit you with the counterpoint that's slightly more pessimistic. I was recently asked on a show by a British psychiatrist what is the singular thing that has most surprised me about human nature in all the years that I've studied human behavior. And I don't think you're going to be happy to hear this. I said the difficulty to get someone to change their opinions once they are fully anchored. So it takes a Herculean effort. But hopefully we're all up for the challenge.
Andrew Colvett
Well, that's exactly why we were devoting so much and we are devoting so much of our energies, Dr. Saad, to ensuring that these high school chapters get off the ground. I will never forget it was, we were in Aspen a couple weeks before. We were having a retreat for donors of Turning Point usa and Charlie was working on the presentation the night before. He was going to present it to everybody. And his vision was very clear. He wanted a Club America chapter in every high school in the country. And, you know, getting to students before they get confused completely ideologically brainwashed at the university. Universities where Dr. Saad is not, is not a professor, of course, is critical. Obviously the university chapters are critical as well. But you see, you do see this. It's very interesting. I'm learning something with this clip, right? Because this gentleman from Midas Touch, his name's Adam, I guess he is clipping it for his audience and his audience loves it because I refuse to disavow the New York Republicans. Young Republicans.
Jack Posobiec
Well, they also talked over you.
Terrence Bates
You didn't.
Andrew Colvett
I did have a chance. I basically said, listen, I'm willing to have a conversation about it, but until you tell me that you're willing to disavow the John, what I just. Gosh. Jay Jones. Two J's, Jay Jones. Attorney General candidate Democrat in John James.
Jack Posobiec
In Michigan, Jay Jones.
Andrew Colvett
So until you're willing to actually tell him he needs to drop out of the race, then listen, we have, we're going to, we're going to be at an impasse here. I'm willing to have a conversation about some of the things that were said. I don't agree with some of the things that were said. I don't understand the context of them. But this is what's funny. We are in this hyper polarized environment because I have never Gotten so many compliments from people about my performance last night saying based, you know, way to go, way not to, way not to. You know, they were proud of me for not doing the disavow ritual on stage with Chris Cuomo and this Midas touch kick because that's what he wanted. He wanted this clip to be able to put it on social media. There was no civil dialogue. There was none of this. And it does raise an interesting point about, you know, social media. I'm being told by authorities a lot of this stuff happens on gamer chats, right. This is a lot of this radicalization fully anchoring into these idea is happening on these, these discord chats and things like this. So what is the solution when it comes to the fact that we are just living in completely different algorithms where we seem to be getting further apart because of the machines?
Terrence Bates
Yeah, well, I mean, I try to do my part in terms of reaching the young people at the university level, but I think what made, you know, to your original question about Charlie's legacy, the fact that he's able to reach, I mean, nobody wants to listen to, you know, a 61 year old professor with gray hair. But people want, kids want to listen to Charlie, right. Because he seems only slightly older than him and his brilliance is actually, I mean, it really needs to be highlighted. Let me draw an analogy. When I teach consumer psychology and I explain to the students that we can't sell chewing gum to 10 year olds because they don't yet have the cognitive apparatus to fight against the advertising message that's thrown at them. So that's why all the ideologues try to get to your children early. Right. That's why we have, you know, twerking drag queens for during, you know, reading hour when they're five and six years old. Because the ideologues understand that we need to get to the children very early before they have developed the cognitive armory to protect themselves against the nonsense. And so I did my part at the university level. God willing, you guys will be doing it at an earlier age bracket and hopefully we can administer the mind vaccine globally.
Andrew Colvett
Well, and that's a great place. Place to kind of pivot a little bit. I want to talk about this aoc Bernie Sanders town hall doctor said, you know, well, they were talking about social media. So let's play this clip 248. Does Republican messaging on social media seem so much more effective than Democratic messaging and what can we do about it?
Dr. Gad Saad
Well, that's a great question.
Andrew Colvett
I think the Republicans are Effective. They have learned a lot about social media.
Dr. Gad Saad
And by the way, it doesn't hurt that their friends own all of the.
Andrew Colvett
Major social media platforms. That's factually inaccurate. But you know, there is this thought that I've been having, Dr. Saad, is that this reaction, they're resorting to violence. There is this thought that keeps occurring to me, you know, and I said this last night at the town hall. You just need better ideas. I mean, part of the reason that the left is losing the social media battle is because their ideas do not hold up to scrutiny. And once they are allowed to be scrutinized in an equal setting, equal footing, they tend to fall apart. Ours go viral because they're common sense.
Terrence Bates
Yeah.
Jack Posobiec
Can I just say something about X and Elon, which by the way, the only ones, right, we have like X and I guess like a little bit of CBS right now, maybe, I don't know, you know, and, and Elon didn't come in and start boosting conservatives though. What he did is he came in and he stopped banning conservatives, he stopped censoring conservatives, and he instituted one tier standard for everyone. And then he also instituted community notes and all the rest. And that for some reason to them, made them so upset that they all started running over to Blue sky. It wasn't a boost of engagement that Bernie Sanders is saying. It was actually leveling the playing field to an equal standard.
Terrence Bates
Indeed. And I'll just. Yeah, maybe I'll add a point. So it is true, of course, that in the battle of ideas, the conservative ideas, of course we would all agree, are much better than the progressive ones. But I want to introduce a slight cosmetic point that speaks to sort of the virality on social media. In my happiness book, the book after the Parasitic Mind, I talk about the research, not my own research, but there's unequivocal research that shows that on average, conservatives score much higher on happiness than do progressives and liberals. And the research is unequivocal so that if you look at the reason, by the way, if I can just explain it very quickly. The conservative, I argue, wakes up in the morning. He may not live in a perfect society, but there are things worth conserving if you are a conservative. By the definition of that term, the progressive wakes up with unbelievable existential angst. I live in a supremacist society, white supremacy, transphobic, Islamophobic, built on slavery. Therefore I need to eradicate the current society. And around the corner there'll be Unicornia. So I'm sullen. I'm Dour. I'm angry. Look at Bernie Sanders. I mean, he is more scary looking than, you know, the black mamba. Whereas you look at you guys, you look at all of the beautiful women on Fox, they look happy, they are easy to on the eyes. And so I think that certainly is an additional element beyond just the quality of the ideas that makes people more drawn to some of the leading conservative figures.
Andrew Colvett
That's, I think that's a really smart point. I've never actually thought about that, thought about it that way. Doctor Said, we live in a state of gratitude and of a sense of, I would say, obligation of duty to conserve the good, the true and the beautiful things. We're grateful for things we have joy knowing that they exist. The progressive mind lives in a state of existential dread because they believe the world is not good, true or beautiful right now and they want to make it that way. And so they're willing to tear down all the edifices they see as in between them and their utopia that is simply never going to exist on planet Earth. And that dichotomy is why you, you liberals tend to wear their dread on their face, whereas conservatives tend to be happy, we tend to be jovial. And it was funny because I also.
Jack Posobiec
Kind of like, like, like it's like self effacing, right? It's like, it's like you, you, you hate yourself so you look worse and then it's like, you know what I mean?
Andrew Colvett
But it's funny because sometimes I would notice on social media in the wake of this tragedy, Dr. Sad, that some people would say, oh, you guys aren't mourning enough. And it's like, okay, first of all, like that's not true. If you could just see us in private. But secondly, we do not mourn the way the world mourns. I have faith that Charlie is staring Jesus in the face and that's our Christian faith. And I believe that he is wearing a crown of glory and he's a martyr for the faith and for the country. I believe that God has a plan. I trust God's plan. I don't understand God's plan. I don't have to like God's plan all the time, at least in my flesh, but I trust it. And there is a sense of higher purpose at play that I am willing to park my emotions and my flesh at the door and trust the Lord. I want to keep going with you, Dr. Saad, in, in the breaks. This is just so fun. Thank you so much. We're going to keep going with Dr. Gad Sad and Jack Bosobic. One second. The voice of generations is the Charlie Kirk Show. I want to thank the guys at Real America's Voice. This is, you know, it's been an amazing, amazing trip. Very, very productive trip. Lots, lots accomplished. And the folks at Real America's Voice have been just absolutely by our side every step of the way. Setting up, tearing down, setting up, tearing down at the Treasury Department at the White House yesterday. Have not never gotten so many notes from people as I did yesterday from that White House visit. So many of you tuned in to hear from J.D. vance, James Blair, Caroline Levitt and Russ Vogt. So thank you for that. More with Dr. Gadsad when we welcome back radio in about five seconds. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. We have Dr. Gad Saad from the South. He's a Southerner now. And Jack Posobic, Human Events Daily with Jack Posobic coming on next. I want to play this other clip, Dr. Saad, because it's again, we're talking about this AOC, Bernie Town Hall, Caroline Levitt's weighing in saying we now have the TV two new leaders of the Democrat Party. Tough to argue with that observation, but she can't. She really struggles to give Trump credit for his this peace deal in the Middle East. And I want to dive into what that says at a deeper level about our politics in this country. To 61, maybe I'm wrong about the cease fire in Gaza. Do you believe President Trump deserves credit for that? Well, you know, I find these, there have been been several cease fire announcements and developments that have happened over the past two years as President Trump was on the plane back to the United States. There's already indications and questions about whether this cease fire will hold. Do you give him credit, do you give him credit, though, for getting to this point where it did get those 20 hostages back home with their families in this particular development? Yes. But we also know that President Trump was an obstacle to peace previously as well. Okay, so he was an obstacle. The whole world celebrated when this happened and everybody said that nobody could do this except for Trump. And yet somehow he is an obstacle. She says yes, he gets credit, but instantly has to say, ah, but the peace is fragile. Well, of course it's fragile. Doctor Said. What does this tell us about the state of politics where we can't leave our domestic issues at the shoreline like we used to and sort of present a united front internationally.
Terrence Bates
You know, thank you for that question because in the way that I'm going to answer it, it shows the power of studying psychology and behavioral science. So here's the answer to your wonderful question. There is a great book by two French cognitive psychologists by the name of Sperber and Mercier. The book is titled the Enigma of Reason where they argued that our capacity to reason did not evolve in order to achieve some objective truth, but rather it evolved to win arguments so that even when we are applying our faculty of reasoning, we are doing it in a tribal, coalitional manner. Right. So it doesn't matter if Andrew convinces me that my position is wrong and therefore I will have the humility to say, thank you for correcting me, Andrew, you're right and I was wrong, I will double down, triple down forevermore. Because my team can't lose. That's exactly what AOC is showing. She is showing that she's not an honest interlocutor. All that matters is that I don't give credit where credit is due. I can never accept the fact that Trump might have done something that was decent, and therefore I'm going to try to avoid giving him the due credit.
Andrew Colvett
Jack, anything to add to that?
Jack Posobiec
So I suppose, is it possible then, that we are able to return to a point in this country where things like being an American are where what we see as our tribe and this is one of the reasons that I think that Trump's defense of the American flag, fighting against the kneeling at the. During the national anthem during the super bowl and NFL games, that if you bring everyone under one umbrella of saying we're all American citizens, we may disagreements on. On our SEC team and our super bowl team, or Andrew and I are crosswise because his Dodgers beat my Phillies.
Andrew Colvett
In the three to one darn nearest.
Terrence Bates
Okay, all right. I remember.
Dr. Gad Saad
Thank you.
Andrew Colvett
You didn't even make it interesting.
Jack Posobiec
We had the one.
Terrence Bates
Okay.
Jack Posobiec
It was 82, the one game. Anyway. We left too many men on base. But the point is we can still all be American. And I think that it's. It's the. It's the messing around with those nuts and bolts of the country that have gotten us to this place.
Terrence Bates
One minute, 100%. Yeah. Let me. Let me give you an example. I recently had on my show Enes candor freedom. The former NBA player. Right. Who retired.
Andrew Colvett
Right, Right.
Terrence Bates
For Boston Celtics.
Dr. Gad Saad
Right.
Terrence Bates
Now, this guy is from Muslim background, but I don't care that he's Muslim, even though I don't have nice things to say about Islam, because he exemplifies the types of immigrants that we want in the United States or in the West. He comes to the United States and says, I want to be. To Jack's point, I want to be united under the common rubric called the United States. I'm Canadian, yet I'm at Ole Miss at a center called the Declaration of Independence center for the Study of American Freedom. Because I embody, and I'd like to think I exemplify all of the values of American exceptionalism. So you're exactly spot on. No more hyphenated Americans. If you are American, you believe in our foundational principles, and then welcome in, my brother. If you don't, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
Andrew Colvett
And that is a perfect place to leave it. Dr. Gad. Said, a Southerner from who's rooting for Ole Miss. I never thought I'd see the day, but it's. But we're all building bridges. We're all building bridges post September 10th. I think it's fitting somehow. Doctor said, thank you for so much of your time. All right, Jack shows up next. Don't miss it. This is an I heart podcast.
