A huge win for President Trump and.
Andrew Colvett
His crackdown on crime.
Terrence Bates
A divided US Appeals court has ruled the President can send National Guard troops into Portland, Oregon.
Andrew Colvett
We conclude that it is likely that the President lawfully exercised his statutory authority.
Terrence Bates
Under 10 USC section 12 4, 6.
Andrew Colvett
We thus conclude that defendants are likely to succeed on the merits of their appeal. They still think Donald Trump is likely to prevail.
Terrence Bates
Tell me what we need to do.
Andrew Colvett
To go get these demon savages off the street. Tell me what we need to do, he says to us. Go get a boys, Go get them. And we cleaned up at the President's.
Terrence Bates
Direction, the Director and I, with the SACs and the agents in the field.
Andrew Colvett
We water ballooned around the country. 28,000 violent crime arrests in 20, 25 prior three, four years, the FBI under prior leadership had averaged about 15, 16,000. We're at 28,000, 28,000. We're not even done with the year.
Dr. David Azrad
We haven't even hit Thanksgiving or Christmas yet.
Terrence Bates
Shows you, when you get a President.
Andrew Colvett
Attorney General, a deputy Attorney general, and.
Terrence Bates
An FBI leadership team that lets the FBI do FBI work, look what happens.
Andrew Colvett
As for the President, he is restating his right, as he sees it, to use the Insurrection act to bypass the courts and send troops anywhere he wants. This is from yesterday. That allowed, as you know, as president, like 50% of the presidents have used the Insurrection Act. They can use that.
Terrence Bates
And everybody agrees you're allowed to use that.
Andrew Colvett
And there's no more court cases, there's no more anything. We're trying to do it in a nicer manner, but we, we can always use the Insurrection act if we want. We want to have great crime free cities.
Terrence Bates
So I'd be allowed to use, if.
Andrew Colvett
I wanted the Insurrection act, and then.
Terrence Bates
All of this nonsense would go away.
Andrew Colvett
You have the absolute right. It's the strongest power a president has.
Terrence Bates
And you have the absolute right to do it.
Andrew Colvett
For reference, the Insurrection act was created not a response to crime per se, but an actual insurrection. The Whiskey Rebellion. You can't talk to these people, Sean. You got a mixture of mentally ill people and people that have been radicalized by these leftist talking points, you know, from people like, you know, you look.
Terrence Bates
At, like Hakeem Jeffries and, and, and Jasmine Crockett, all these people that go.
Andrew Colvett
On TV constantly calling people like me and you Nazis and fascists and, you know, they want us dead. These are violent individuals, and they know, Sean, that they won't be prosecuted for harming People like me on the street, my son, he's only 16, and he was violated. They said they slammed him to the ground. I just want my Bab.
Dr. James Orr
370 US citizens who have been detained.
Andrew Colvett
And it's important that we say today that what is happening to undocumented immigrants is also happening to US Citizens, which means that this can happen to anyone, to all of us, at any period of time. The question related to why doesn't he just shut down the border? Presumably, the he being the president, it's because there's actually no legal authority to do so. In 2018 slash 2019, Donald Trump's net approval rating was already falling. The shutdown was eating in, was popular sport. It was down three points already at this particular point. This shutdown hasn't even in the Donald Trump support at all. His net approval rating is actually up a point. What about the question of blame? You blame Trump for the shutdown a great deal in 2018, 2019, 61%. It's a different world. It's a different world. 48% of Americans blame Trump a great deal for this particular shutdown. It's less than half a drop of 13 points. Again, it's no real wonder that Donald Trump at this point, looking at the shutdown, says, you know what? It's not actually harming me politically.
Terrence Bates
This hunting stand was appropriately dismantled, being flown to our lab. I believe it's there right now. And all of the forensic tools we have, from digital tools to biometric tools.
Andrew Colvett
They are all going to be applied to try to find out who put this up there and why. A convicted felon was allegedly planning to shoot up the Atlanta airport. This Felon did a FaceTime call with family members, allegedly telling them his plans to shoot up the Atlanta airport. Someone reportedly notified police after that call, who then found the suspect's car outside of the airport. It was blocking traffic, but the suspect was not inside. Police reportedly did end up finding the felon inside of the airport. They grabbed him, took him into custody, and authorities reportedly found that AR15 while searching his car. The Charlie Kirk Show. Every day there's a battle for your mind raging information coming from every angle.
Terrence Bates
With the will to deceive Fear not.
Andrew Colvett
You found the place for truth the voice of a generation that still has the will to believe in the greatest country in the history of the world. This is the Charlie Kirk Show. Buckle up, Here we go. All right, welcome. Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show. Andrew Colvett here, executive producer of this fine show. Honored to be with you. Radio stations across the country. Real America's Voice, Salem News Channel. I think we, you know, we're streaming. We're all over the place. We're everywhere, man. And that's a good thing. That's a good thing. That's how Charlie wanted it. I'm joined by Mikey McCoy.
Mikey McCoy
Thank you for having me.
Andrew Colvett
And you're like our Phil and Blake.
Mikey McCoy
Yeah, I'm the Blake Filler.
Andrew Colvett
Maybe you're like, then are you the new Blake? We got to keep him on his toes.
Mikey McCoy
I'm Blake with more hair.
Andrew Colvett
Oh, ouch. Blake would. Let me say it. It would be weird if Blake had hair is what I realized it would be. At this point. I am just so happy to have this day because, you know, President Trump is putting up win after win, and, you know, it just occurs to me that this is exactly what democracy looks like. So if you guys could just play clip, please. This is what democracy is. What democracy looks like. What democracy looks like. This is what democracy looks like.
Jordan Harmon
This is what democracy looks like.
Andrew Colvett
Yes, I totally agree. This is what democracy looks like. And with that, let's play 151. Deportation numbers hitting record highs since President Trump's return to office. His administration booting more than 515,000 illegal migrants. So far, 1.6 million illegals have left the country on their own, with immigration agents arresting 485,000. Excuse me. DHS saying that Trump is set to shatter the US deportation record by the end of 2025. And what is that? This is what democracy looks like. Can we get it again? I just straightened my veins. This is what democracy looks like.
Jordan Harmon
This is what democracy looks like.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah. Record deportations, gentlemen. That is exactly right.
Mikey McCoy
Because what democracy looks like, that is what.
Andrew Colvett
This is what democracy looks like. And, you know, I will say that this. This was perfectly on cue with what Charlie often talked about. He was very passionate about this issue. So let's put it in Charlie's own words. Cut 156. You should not have to compete against a foreigner for your job. American college graduates should come first, and that starts with President Donald Trump. And this will affect everybody in this room, regardless of age. It is time for the largest deportation effort this country has ever seen. If you are here illegally, you are deported from the United States of America. Period. No amnesty. Repeat after me. No amnesty. Period. End of story. We will not put up with any exceptions, any carve outs, any loopholes, any exceptions, any asterisks, any iotas. I don't care if it's 10 years or 15 years. We voted for mass deportations. We did not vote for mass amnesty. And we expect our leaders to deliver it and bring back our country to a place of citizenship and Americans being put first. I mean, I just love watching the way he was so firm and clear and he was really channeling the base energy. This is what democracy looks like. Mike McCoy. Now, Charlie hated the word democracy, actually. He loved. He loved. Well, he preferred talking about America as a constitutional republic, which is exactly what it is. And we have a republic of states. They, they agreed to be part of a union, right? The states made America when they agreed to join together into the United States of America. And we have this constitution that governs the way the country works. And the Democrats love to say that we are anti constitutional, that we're just empowering Trump and egging him on to do everything he wants. And we better watch it, because when a Democrat's in power, that is not what's happening here. That is not what's happening here. What we have is. Now, you see this from the Ninth Circus Court of Appeals, as it's often referred to, that is over the Western United States. It is not traditionally a conservative court. Now, it was a split decision, but they still did an emergency stay, a motion that says, yes, President Trump can deploy the National Guard in Portland.
Dr. James Orr
Right?
Andrew Colvett
Because they said that, yes, he's within his, his authority to do so, which means the same thing is probably going to hold true in Chicago and other places. And again, this is what the democratic process in a constitutional republic looks like. He's hemmed in on. He has bounds to his power, but it would not be against the rules for him to declare the Insurrection Act. He's even been teasing that he might declare the Insurrection Act. And actually, Democrats might be surprised to understand that 33% about, about 1 third of presidents have declared the Insurrection act in the United States.
Mikey McCoy
If Democrats really were pro democracy, they would realize and acknowledge that President Trump was elected by the Electoral College and the popular vote for, as Charlie said, not mass amnesty, but mass deportations. So he is fulfilling the mandate that was given to him by voters to deport people. And border crossings are 99.9% down, which is a huge win.
Andrew Colvett
Voted for this.
Mikey McCoy
We voted for this. He is do. He is more pro democracy than they are. And if they're going to go around and chant no kings, they don't understand that he is fulfilling the mandate that the voters placed him to do so in. And so this is something that I'm cheering on. And that speech that Charlie gave us from Our Student Action Summit. And that room was all full of students.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah.
Mikey McCoy
And so he sees these students that are graduating colleges with degrees and tons of debt to go get jobs that don't exist because illegal immigrants are taking them.
Andrew Colvett
And get this. So there's a news story breaking this morning that Amazon is planning over the course of the next, let's say, however many years, let's say the next two, three, maybe four or five years. But it's happening imminent. Brace for impact. They're going to engage in a mass automation process at their shipping facilities. This means that 600,000Americans are about to get laid off in the next couple of years. 600,000 from Amazon alone. You're going to see this across the board. Now, this is not Trump's fault. This is not Joe Biden's fault, to be perfectly honest. It is a new move of technology that is going to displace workers. And this plays into the immigration debate because we do not need to be importing tens of millions of foreigners that are only going to increase job pressures, especially on the working class Americans. And you're going to see this at farms, you're going to see this at factories. Robotics is coming and we need to get a handle on making sure we're not letting in cheap, unskilled labor into this country for jobs that are no longer going to exist in a couple of years.
Mikey McCoy
Yeah, yeah. Between the labor market shrinking, illegal immigrants coming and taking jobs, H1BS and then the technology boom, which is. And yeah, a lot of people disagree with me on the H1B.
Andrew Colvett
No, I agree. Yeah.
Mikey McCoy
But with the AI boom, you're going to see the labor market shrink in a way we've never seen before. And so why do we need to expedite that with illegal migrants too? We don't want to see it.
Andrew Colvett
No. And by the way, the H1B scam is really infuriating because they pitch it as a program that brings in high skilled tech workers. But if you actually look, it's like McDonald's is hiring, you know, 40,000 a year, salaried accountant. That's what they use, H1B. It's completely rigged and it's rigged against the, you know, the United States citizen. And Charlie was very keen on the fact that it was rigged against young people. So check out this clip. Let's look at this. This President Trump signaling that he could. It's within his power to declare the Insurrection Act. And the Insurrection act obviously comes from the Whiskey Rebellion when the country was just getting started. George Washington sent Troops up to quell an insurrection. They were rebelling against taxes on whiskey. That's why it gets its name. Let's go ahead and play cut 150 and don't forget.
Terrence Bates
And I haven't used it, but don't.
Andrew Colvett
Forget, I can use the Insurrection Act. 50% of the presidents almost have used that.
Terrence Bates
And that's unquestioned power.
Andrew Colvett
I choose not to.
Terrence Bates
I'd rather do this.
Andrew Colvett
But I'm met constantly by fake politicians.
Terrence Bates
Politicians that think that, you know, it's not like part of the radical left.
Andrew Colvett
Movement to have safety. These cities have to be safe. Are cities that are democrat run exclusively.
Terrence Bates
Just about are unsafe cities.
Andrew Colvett
And of course he's 100% right, Mikey. I mean it's like you are, you know, you're safer to walk the streets of some, probably some war torn areas of the world. You're probably safer in Kiev probably than South Chicago. I mean I haven't. That's what I think. Chirac. Right. You know, so his focusing on this crime problem is, is totally justified. We don't have to live this way. It's insane. Let me tell you about Done With Debt. When you're buried in credit card and loan debt, it's human nature to put it off and say I'll deal with it later if that's you. Here's a hidden fact the debt strategy experts at Done With Debt shared with me. They discovered a little known strategy that works in your favor to dramatically reduce or even erase your debt altogether. They aggressively engage everyone you owe money to this fall. So right now, and here's why, they know which lenders and credit card companies are doing year end accounting and need to cut deals. Dr. James Orr
Fact.

First America First. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. All right, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show to our Real America's Voice team streaming podcast. All the things. Bullet points. Bullet points are important. And listen, here's the thing why? Refi is a company that we really love and care about. They care about us. They care about you. And they've been with us through thick and thin in all of these crazy days. And that's why Refi, they help you with your private student loan debt. And apparently there's about 45 billion of it that is labeled as distressed in this country. So if that's, you know, that y Refi will help you with, you know, defaulted private student loans or distressed private student loans that others won't touch. They provide you with a custom loan payment based on your ability to pay. This is not some faceless question call center. They're going to work with your budget. They're going to work with you even if your credit score is terrible and in the tank. They're going to help you get mom and dad off the loan. And they'll even let you skip a payment every six months up to 12 times without penalty. So go to yrefi.com yrefy.com or call 888-Y-REFI34 and get the help you need. We're going to welcome back radio. Stay right there. All right, so we should ask the question, you know, if this is what democracy looks like, you know, what, what does the alternative look like? And I think we've seen a pretty good image of what the alternative looks like in the Democrat Party. For four years, we lived under tyranny. Somebody that didn't respect the rule of law, didn't respect the Constitution. So I put this out yesterday on X and I got a lot of great feedback on it. So, I mean, let's just go through a list. This is a partial. This is just what I could think of off the top of my head. I spent like three seconds on it. Oh, well, there it is. Thank you, team. So the same party that's calling Trump a king and a tyrant and calling conservatives fascists and Nazis for supporting him, this is what they did. They locked kids out of school for nearly two years. They forced experimental jabs just to get to work, go out to eat, serve in the military, and then if you refused, you got dishonorably discharged from the military. Thankfully, we've fixed that. They completely ignored and bastardized our immigration and asylum laws to allow over 10 million illegals just to stream into the country they sued. These are things that you kind of forget. They sued to remove President Trump from the ballot. They tried to make it so he couldn't run for president. They tried to imprison him for 700 years in federal prison. They tried to bankrupt President Trump. For what? Successfully paying back a bank loan. That's right. He paid it back. The bank made money. The bank was on his team. Like, they were a witness on his behalf in the trial. They worked to disbar the lawyers that tried to defend President Trump against this lawfare. They spied on at least eight U.S. senators and at least one congressman that we know of in Operation Arctic Frost. They spied on Catholic churches that dared to do Latin Mass. They investigated concerned parents at school boards as domestic extremists. They rewrote Title 9 to Force Men into playing women's sports. They tied federal funding to it. They forced and coerced social media companies into censoring The Origins of COVID 19 on social media platforms. They recruited this, thanks to Tony Blinken, they recruited over 50 former intel officials to lie and say that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation, even though they've been gaming this out for years. They cooed a sitting president. They forced Joe Biden out of the race even though he didn't want to go. And by the way, I still have questions about that. When he was in Vegas and there was that emergency health situation that we sort of heard about, and then it disappeared. And they rushed Air Force One back east from Las Vegas, all the police officers, like, they thought that Joe Biden was dead. And then within five days, he stepped out of the race. Well, now what did they do? They crowned Kamala Harris their new candidate without a single primary vote. They weaponized the DOJ against J6ers, even grandmas that took selfies in the Capitol Rotunda and then walked out peacefully. They have issued over 100 national injunctions from rogue judges, black robe tyranny, challenging anything the president is trying to accomplish and this administration is trying to accomplish. Only, I don't know, about 15 against Barack Obama, far fewer against Joe Biden. Joe Biden forgave billions in student loan debt even after Skoda said it was unconstitutional to do so. So, yeah, that. That party that did all of those things has the audacity, the gall, to label President Trump a tyrant and a king. But here's my word for you. This is what democracy looks like. Play it again. This is what democracy looks like. This is what democracy looks like. This is what democracy looks like. That'.
Dr. James Orr
So.
Andrew Colvett
So this is what's crazy. So did you know JFK used 3,000 Alabama National Guardsmen in June 1963 to desegregate a university there? I believe it was a university. LBJ in 1965, 1750 National Guardsmen and 11,000 federal troops. Eisenhower did the same thing in September 1957. 270 National Guardsmen, a thousand army troops. So this is all with precedent. This is all within the Article 2, muscular executive branch realm of the Constitution. Yeah.
Mikey McCoy
And it's just, it's crazy to me because for those of you watching this program, would you feel safe with your kid at night walking the O block of Chicago? Would you feel safe with your kid walking the streets of Memphis or St. Louis at nighttime or riding the subway in New York City? And if the answer is no, that's a big problem because this is the United States of America, not Somalia or some third world country. And that's a big problem. And you guys are going to label Trump as using the Insurrection act, saying, this isn't an insurrection. He's just trying to keep your kids safe on the streets.
Andrew Colvett
Well, and by the way, the people that don't aren't completely infected with tds. Appreciate it. And you see that from clips of normal people in Chicago being like, yes, please send the, you know, the guard. Or in Portland where they can't get antifa to stop harassing their neighborhood or respect noise ordinances. You see this in D.C. where so many people are walking the streets again and restaurants are open. You can take your family out on the streets. We are going to be welcomed by two guests. Next segment, all about Oxford Union, where the President elect celebrated Charlie's murder, not letting it go. We'll be right back.
Terrence Bates

President Trump has the green light to send National Guard troops into Portland, Oregon, despite protests from local officials there. A three judge panel on the ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Monday that the president can take control of the Oregon National Guard and deploy troops in response to protests that have damaged federal property and threatened ICE agents. While the court's ruling is a significant victory for the administration, President Trump still wants the Supreme Court to weigh in on his authority to send troops into crime ridden Democratic led cities. His attempts to do so have been met with court challenges, most recently in Chicago where an appeals court ruled against the president's push for troop deployment. Crisis averted as police arrest a would be mass shooter at Atlanta airport just before he was allegedly set to go on a shooting rampage at the world's busiest airport. Investigators say the 49 year old described his plan to shoot up Atlanta Hartsfield Airport while streaming on social media, leading his family to report it to police. And he was ultimately arrested. That's a quick check of your headlines.
Andrew Colvett
Relentless in spirit. You're listening to the Charlie Kirk Show. All right, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. And oh boy, am I excited about this next segment because we have the great Dr. James Orr and Daniel Ogoloma. I just didn't wanna, I didn't wanna butcher Ogoloma. Cause it's a beautiful name. He's a beautiful human. And he helped Charlie get to Oxford Union for that debate. But before we do that, I'm gonna tell you about Patriot Mobile. My dear friends, our dear friends Glenn and the team at Patriot Mobile are amazing human beings. And they run Patriot Mobile, which is essentially the one. They call it a budget, but it's basically, yeah, you get your cell phone service for cheaper, but they work with all three major carriers and they're the only ones that are a Christian conservative company that support shows like this, that support Turning Point usa And they really put their money where their mouth is. I'm telling you, these people. Glenn is looking for projects to help advance the conservative agenda across this country. And that's why he calls his company Patriot Mobile. And they are amazing people. And you get it's all the same stuff. I have a Patriot Mobile phone right here. And this is. I have two lines. I won't tell you which of the major carriers, but I never don't have service because I have two. So even if I'm in some weird place or, you know, I'm in a dead zone, I can just switch to the other one, use that different service, whether that's data or phone, and I can always get connected. So thank you to Patriot Mobile for all of that help. You guys should check them out. There's a bunch of testimonials on their website. And you never talk to some foreign call center. You just talk to somebody in America. So call 972 Patriot today or go to patriotmobile.com Charlie. Use code Charlie for a free month of service. That's patriotmobile.com Charlie. Or call 972 Patriot and make the switch today. All right, Dr. James Orr, I know you're on. Dr. James Orr, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. So let me just try and set the plate here, set the table for everybody. What's going on at Oxford Union, because it's a whole other country for us, right? You know, we're America first show. But we have a special place in our heart for this story because Charlie was there just before he was taken from us. And it was a really big deal. And he actually debated this gentleman that ended up becoming the president elect. And when Charlie was assassinated, this gentleman, it was leaked these WhatsApp group chats or whatever where he is celebrating. He's gleeful. He said, let's effing go. After learning about it, which is disgraceful. You passed the human decency test. And then he calls a no confidence vote on himself a true act of humility and virtue from this gleeful celebrator of death and destruction. So they had the vote. There it is. There's Charlie actually debating Sweatpants Bro, as we call him, because, you know, why wear a suit? At the hallowed halls of Oxford Union, the epicenter of free speech and debate within Europe and the uk and he has been ousted. But wait, there's more. Now he's contesting it. Dr. James Orr, please explain what's going on. Dr. James Orr, of course, from Cambridge, which is another university, but we want to know all the details, please.
Dr. James Orr
Well, Andrew and Mikey, it's great to be with you. Yes, I am now at Cambridge, but once upon a time I was at Oxford. In fact, I've been a member of the Oxford Union since 1997. When I first went up as a fresh faced undergraduate aged 18. And so I've been taking a very close personal interest in this. Not just because Charlie was such a dear friend. And I know he was thrilled to have had the opportunity to debate there as well as at Cambridge. And my goodness, didn't he do well up against Sweatpants Bro, as you call him, who should never really have been admitted to the University of Oxford, Just to be clear. I mean, difficult to translate the, his, his admission, the grades, but they were very, very poor. I've certainly never let a student in with grades that bad. I'm afraid it looked like, looks like he was a diversity admission. And this is kind of the admissions process sadly in Oxford is pretty corrupt. And I'm very glad that this case, if nothing else, has drawn attention to that. Yes, look, we may be another country, but my goodness, the rules of the Oxford Union are labyrinthine, Byzantine, pretty arcane. It's very hard for us Brits to follow what's going on. But yes, I should stress, it does look as if Sweatpants Bro remains president elect for now of the Oxford Union, even though he lost by 70% the vote of no confidence, which he called in himself on himself. So before anyone talks about this being an example of cancel culture, he called the vote. Nobody else. He called the vote. And this was not about his right to speak freely. This was simply about whether or not the members of the Oxford Union had confidence in him as president elect of the premier university free speech debating society in the world. Its history speaks for itself. And the almost sadly not unanimous, but the overwhelming majority of those who voted decided that he was not a fit and proper person to uphold the institutional ethos and values of the Oxford Union. But he is contesting the vote. He is appealing to. Wait for it, Rule 47, subsection H, subsection 5, which invokes the rule that where there may have been some disciplinary issues with the way in which the proxy votes were cast, he's claiming that some were tampered with. And so for now, until that investigation is complete, he remains President Elect. But look, I think his days are numbered. And what a sorry saga, how far the Oxford Union has fallen. And it fills me with shame and embarrassment. And I know all of my friends on both left and right from Oxford and beyond, delighted that he seems to be on his way out. I mean, I've got one or two friends. Lord Toby Young, General Secretary of the Free Speech Union is a dear friend of mine, is taking a very absolutist line here, saying that he should not be penalized by the union or the university for saying something offensive but lawful, and that that's free speech. You know, I understand that, but I do think that you do not have the right to be president of the Oxford Union. If you think, as I think was obvious from his reaction, from what he said in those private texts, if you think that violence and assassination are justified, I think that just, you know, he claimed that it did not represent his instinct, his values. But I think actually, you know, it's when we. It's in the heat of the moment that very often we reveal who we are and what we think. And, you know, I think he was roundly defeated by Charlie in that debate and I think he nursed some grievances and expressed his true feelings there. So I'm looking forward to him being formally stepping aside. It's probably going to take another few days, but I don't think there's any realistic chance of this disciplinary inquiry finding that the vote was not conducted properly. And even if it turns out that there were some irregularities, the vote will simply be held again and I suspect he would lose by an even greater margin.
Mikey McCoy
Yeah, this is definitely student politics at its most ridiculous. And I think it gives a really bad name to the Oxford Union, which, for student politics used to be an institution that gave them a lot of credibility. But you look at the vote, it was 1,228 to 501. So there's still 501 people that wanted to see the Oxford Union, this historic institution that used to be a place of class and hierarchy and beauty and debate and free speech, get absolutely destroyed into a husk of its former self.
Dr. James Orr
Yes, absolutely right, Mikey. I just would add, it's not just any debating chamber, it's not just any university. The number of prime ministers and cabinet ministers and influential politicians who've been through that debating chamber is countlessly many. So really is an indicator of the future leadership of the United Kingdom. And so, you know, it covers us, not just the Oxford Union in shame, but the nation too, and the nation's primary sort of elite forming engine room.
Mikey McCoy
Yeah, you said something really important, which if they are no longer going to be a serious institution that used to have prime ministers and presidents and serious people come, then we will no longer take them seriously and we will contact every American politician and speaker. I know Mike Pence is supposed to go there. I've already contacted him about not going. And so there's a lot of other people that are supposed to be debating and speaking at The Oxford Union, if you guys are no longer gonna be a serious place for free speech and debate, serious people will no longer attend.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, well, that's Absolutely.
Dr. James Orr
Absolutely right.
Andrew Colvett
Dr. James Orr, I wanted to ask you a question because I know that there has already been some speakers that have said they won't attend and there's been donations. Apparently the Oxford Union is in debt, that there's financial issues. They have a. They have a facility that needs like £4 million to update it and renovate it. There's a bunch of issues that they are facing and this is flying right at the wrong time. This is coming right at them. And if they make the wrong choices in the next few days about how to deal with his appeal, they could. There could be serious ramifications for the institution.
Dr. James Orr
You're absolutely right, Andrew. Membership is collapsed. There are lawsuits all over the place. Staff are leaving, trustees are resigning. It's in a terrible state. It's facing bankruptcy. It's got losses of hundreds of thousands of pounds this coming year, huge maintenance bills. You know, I honestly think that this is the worst moment for it, reputationally, since that famous debate in the 1930s where the motion was this House would not fight for king and country. And that vote was sustained. It was a terrible moment, probably the worst moment in. In the history of the Oxford Union until the last few weeks. I really can't think of a time in its long history goes right back to the middle of the 19th century. I can't think of a time when it is covered itself in so much shame, when it's sort of horrified the conscience of the world to the degree that it has over the last few weeks. And I think the sooner this business is resolved and it can move forward, the better.
Andrew Colvett
Dr. James. Or we're. We've got. We still got more time with you, so I'm excited to do this, but we're going to play cut 165. This is a clip from Charlie where he just went off at Oxford. £165,000. Right? Now, if you could tell me the US citizen that was deported under Donald Trump. You said that twice. Yeah. The U.S. citizen that was deported under Donald Trump. Can anyone tell me thousand pounds? I'll give it to you right now.
Dr. James Orr
Yeah.
Andrew Colvett
Name Wrong. Not a US citizen. Salvador citizen, El Salvador. Anyone else? US citizen deported under Trump?
Dr. James Orr
Nope.
Andrew Colvett
That was a lie. You should know better than that. You go to Oxford, so that is a correction. Number two, can you tell me, when it comes to Charlottesville, something that you said when Donald Trump said that There were people on both sides. He was actually talking about the statue debate, not what you said. So that's a hoax. That's line number two. Oh, yeah, you said that. Somebody over here said something about Pete Hegseth being nothing more than a TV host. You should also mention that he was a service member of the military. And he goes on, he goes on. It was a great moment from Charlie and it went really viral too, at the time. I mean, and just so you know, Charlie had prepared remarks and he threw him out the door. He listened to all the arguments, because I think he went last. He listened to all the remarks and he's sitting there jotting notes down and just lie, lie, lie, deconstructing the lie. And it kind of reminds me of that clip where Charlie says that he felt called to by God on the planet to confront evil, to confront lies and proclaim the truth. And so you could just see Charlie stewing there in his chair listening to all these pretentious little snot nosed Oxford students lying about American politics. And he's going, they don't know what they're talking about. Anyways, Mikey, 10 seconds if you want.
Dr. James Orr
Real quick.
Andrew Colvett
I'm sorry.
Mikey McCoy
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just remember Blake and I were telling him, calm down because we thought he was gonna come way hotter.
Andrew Colvett
And so he kept it together.
Mikey McCoy
His Scottish blood was brewing.
Andrew Colvett
He, he, he kept it together. Real quick. I'm going to tell you about Alan Jackson Ministries here, the Culture and Christianity podcast with the Alan Jackson podcast. So culture and Christianity, the Alan Jackson podcast, they take real world stuff that's really happening. They break it down, they apply the Bible and then they give you solutions on how to apply the Bible to be a, to be part of the solution here on Earth. Right? So it could be gender confusion, abortion, immigration, Doge Trump and the White House issues in the church. They don't just discuss the problems, they address them and they give you the tools and the practical things we can do to make a difference. So that's the Culture and Christianity podcast. It's informative, it's encouraging to find it on YouTube, Spotify, wherever you get your podcasts. And you can find out more about Pastor Alan Jackson and his ministry@AlanJackson.com Charlie, that's Alan Jackson.com forward/Charlie, he's Pastor Allen's reached out to us directly and just praying for us. Really, really tremendous guy. So check it out more with Dr. James Orr in just a second. No confidence.
Dr. James Orr
And I don't think that's cancel culture. I think that's simply just accountability, you.
Andrew Colvett
Know, that's democracy in action, you know.
Dr. James Orr
And he's now saying he won't step.
Andrew Colvett
Down because of procedural flaws, you know, in the vote, you know.
Mikey McCoy
Yeah. And George is claiming that part of this is racism as to why this no confidence vote is being placed against him. What's your take on that?
Andrew Colvett
I think it's just. It just shows his level of immaturity, you know, for him to be able to say what he did, you know, Charlie Kirk just got effing shot. Let's go in. A public WhatsApp group already shows you the kind of human being that this person is.
Dr. James Orr
So, you know, when, you know, he's ousted and he's calling it racism, you.
Andrew Colvett
Could already tell, you know, the kind of angle he's going to go down. So I think it's a bunch of nonsense.
Dr. James Orr
I know many students of color, many.
Andrew Colvett
Alumni of color who voted in the.
Dr. James Orr
No confidence debate and are not fans of him because of what he said.
Andrew Colvett
So I think it's total nonsense for him to say it's racism. Well said. I'm glad we got that out because, you know, I'm going to explain this when we get back from the break. It's called Darvo. It's how well, I'll explain it after the break. We're going to welcome back national radio in about five seconds. Hang right there. We'll be right back.
Chad Walding
All right.
Andrew Colvett
Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. We're talking about Oxford Union, which many believe is the most prestigious debate society on the planet, certainly within the UK and within Europe. And Charlie was just there and they're trying to put in place or they were a man who celebrated Charlie's death. Charlie actually debated him at Oxford Union. Why this is a big deal. And please bring in all of our guests here really quick on the visual. Why this is a big deal is because if we allow this to stand, we understand in America that we probably wouldn't exist in our current form, definitely wouldn't have, if it wasn't for what we inherited from England and from the Commonwealth, you know, the Christian society that we inherited here. We have to maintain this posture, I think, globally. Dr. Orr and Daniel, I think that it's important because if we start becoming an island with the only place where we have the First Amendment, that people believe in free speech, then we are going to be increasingly pressed upon by this transatlantic alliance where we're gonna have our speech curtailed. And we've seen that already, especially in Joe Biden's Tenure. So we need to insist that a robust free speech ecosystem exists within Western allies in Western countries. And that being said, celebrating somebody's death is completely across the line. Nobody's saying he needs to go to prison. Nobody's saying that he's gonna get a knock on the door because he tweeted about migrants or something like happens in the uk. We're just saying he's not fit to serve in this prestigious role. And I just want to present this to you, Darvo. I want our audience to understand. Darvo, it's an acronym for Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender. It's a manipulative tactic used by people that have done something wrong or perpetrated an ill or evil to avoid responsibility. So it does not surprise me that he would deny that he did apologize. I will say that. But then he will reverse victim and say that now he's the victim of racial attacks and this old, you know, white institution or whatever he's saying. But that's. That is the. That is the sequence of events that we're seeing. That is the pattern that it's unfolding. Dr. James, or do you believe that George is a victim of something here? You know, this institution?
Dr. James Orr
Well, listen, look, yeah, look, nobody is victimizing him. Nobody. He called the vote of no confidence himself. And so, you know, nobody is forcing this on him. He simply put this motion to the membership, and it is therefore a matter for the membership to decide how they want to vote. And it turned out that by majority of 70% they wanted him out. And I think the view is. Look, it's not. I think that there's this wonderful institution of free speech, and yet also there are limits. No, actually the reason the members have taken the view that they have is precisely because it is such an important cradle of free speech. And any such important cradle needs somebody at the helm who is publicly celebrating the values and the institutional ethos of the Oxford Union. If you are celebrating the violent assassination of a free speech hero, somebody who's free speech credentials were obvious to everyone and certainly obvious to Abraham because he debated him himself, then that is simply that that undermines the institution. It brings the reputational shame on the institution. And so I. Just one more thing I want to say, Andrew, is that I don't. What you. We mustn't think of the. Of Abrioni's conduct as representative of the attitudes of Brits, and particularly young Brits, towards Charlie Kirk. I was with my son and a few students opposite Downing street on Whitehall two days after Charlie's assassination. It was so moving. There were thousands of people there with pictures of Charlie. There was candles everywhere. There was worship music. There was prayer. It was a celebration of his life. And the following day at this big rally in controversial rally in London, really was just a celebration. Charlie. And it was just wonderful and very moving to see what an impact he'd had so many thousands of miles away on young Brits. People on the left and the right people had enormous respect for him. So let's not let this incident make your viewers think that somehow this is anything other than a terrible anomaly in terms of how Charlie was celebrated, how he was respected, and how grieved. So many of us are on this side of the country, this side of the Atlantic and the mother country at his shocking death. And we honor him and we're so grateful to you for carrying on his legacy. And we are cheering Turning Point USA on from afar.
Andrew Colvett
Well, thank you for saying that. And that is something that we've brought up a lot, actually. I brought it up with Vice President J.D. vance just last week. And yeah, there are these instances, these anomalies of people that are, you know, espousing just vitriol and hate and really evil stuff. And they're doing it publicly in this instance, it was a private chat, but they are doing it publicly in the United States. That is a small fraction of the overwhelming amount of love that we have seen pour in from the country. This enthusiasm, and you see it in Turning Points growth. We're gonna keep going with these wonderful guests in the break. Don't go anywhere.
Terrence Bates
Welcome back to this real America's Voice news break. I'm Terrence Bates. Get this. As many as 19 million Americans take fish oil supplements. We're often told that fish oil supplements are rich in omega 3 fatty acids, which of course can help with everything from heart health to joint health and so much more. But my next guest says not so fast. My friend Chad Walding is an expert in the field of physical therapy, nutrition and natural naturalceuticals. He's also the co founder of Native Path, which is a health and wellness company focused on supplements that are backed by science. Chad, it's good to see you. I took liberty of quoting you with the not so fast, my friend. But I think it's appropriate before we get kind of to the mid to the meat of all of this talk about why you decided to found Native Path. Excuse me, I can't get my words out.
Chad Walding
Yeah, you know, we decided to find Native Path because humans have gotten off the path. You Know, if you look at our health in the past hundred years, chronic disease, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, all of these things have gotten worse in the past hundred years, despite all our advances in science and technology. You know, so we really see a food industry that knows nothing about health, a health industry that knows nothing about food. So native path is really here to get people back in alignment with, with the way they're supposed to eat, where they're supposed to move, where we're supposed to live. So we spend a lot of time on education and with our supplements. What we're trying to do, what we are doing is filling in the gaps. All the, all the vitamins, nutrients that are missing in the modern diet, let's fill that in so we can fill our best and get back on the path, as we say.
Terrence Bates
All right, so let's get to the meat of this conversation. Fish oil, you say it's not quite what's necessarily advertised.
Dr. James Orr
Yeah.
Chad Walding
When we talk about fish oil, we should start by saying that omega 3s are beneficial to overall health.
Jordan Harmon
Right.
Chad Walding
As you said earlier, omega 3s reduce inflammation, they contribute to heart health, brain health, bone health, metabolism, and potentially even cancer prevention. But the thing is, when Most people hear Omega 3s, they're automatically thinking fish oil. So hundreds of supplement companies have seized the opportunity to supply fish oil to consumers in hopes of augmenting the Omega 3s we need. But the science that's coming out about fish oil is a little murky. Harvard Health published a major study of multiple randomized trials testing fish oil against a placebo. And the conclusion was, there's no evidence of heart related benefits from fish oil. Cleveland Clinic published an article stating fish oil pills aren't doing what you think they're doing. In fact, one of the studies found that fish oil may actually increase LDL cholesterol. So it's getting a little murky. And I think there's a couple problems with fish oil we need to bring to light here. Number one, it's not pure.
Jordan Harmon
Right.
Chad Walding
It's coming from oceans that are now tainted in the modern world with pollutants and toxins which prevent it from working. So I simply don't trust those, the fish oil coming from those waters. And number two, it doesn't get absorbed by the human body very well, especially when compared to krill oil, which the studies are now showing is a more superior form of omega 3s.
Terrence Bates
I'm glad you brought up krill oil, because that was going to be my next thing. That is the alternative that you're selling there at Native path.
Dr. James Orr
Right.
Chad Walding
So krill oil is a better form of mega 3s we feel, and most people think it's a fish. It's actually a shrimp, shrimp like crustacean and it's abundant in the pure waters of the Antarctica. So what really caught our attention was the study showing that krill oil is a more potent and absorbable form of omega 3s compared to fish oil. It's actually 50% more absorbable and eight times more bioavailable in the human body. So you get more bang for your buck. And the reason is it becomes in a phospholipid form. That phospholipid form is all over our bodies which allow it to penetrate our cells. It's also more powerful than fish oil. One study found that fish oil, even given that lower doses krill oil is more effective even at lower doses at supporting heart health in fish oil. But the biggest difference between krill oil and fish oil is a powerful antioxidant that is not found in fish oil. It's called Astaxanthin. It's really the key to achieving all the benefits you're seeking from Omega 3s.
Terrence Bates
Alright, so for people who are interested, may want to order, at least do some more research. How can they find out that information and what you're offering there at Native Path?
Chad Walding
Absolutely. So we're sending up to 66% off to the audience today when they visit nativepathcrew oil.com. so I'll give that again, visit nativepathcrewoil.com for up to 66% off.
Terrence Bates
All right. And folks, the information is right there at the bottom of your screen. You can log on as we speak and go ahead and make your order. You can get yourself 66% off. That's pretty significant. Well, that's going to do it for us here on Real America's Voice. We appreciate you being here with us us for this news break. We're going to take a quick break. Excuse me. And then get you back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Chad Walding
All right.
Andrew Colvett
Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. I'm Andrew Colvitt, executive producer of this fine show, joined by Mikey McCoy, Chief of Staff to everything. Yeah, we, we. So one of the things that Charlie loved most was Hillsdale College and he took all the online courses. You should check it out. Charlieforhillsdale.com, charlieforhillsdale.com but more than that, he just loves some of the great thinkers that were a part of that amazing institution. And we just talked about Oxford Union, which is not part of Oxford Or Cambridge, but it is sort of by name. It's connected to it, but it's an institution that's really important, and Hillsdale is tremendously important. Here in the United States of America, we have Dr. David Azrad from Hillsdale. He is an assistant professor and research fellow at Hillsdale College's Van Andel Graduate School of Government. And he's probably, of all the professors, been the most frequent guest from Hillsdale on the Charlie Kirk Show. So we're honored to have him on our show today. Dr. Azrad, thank you so much for making the time and joining us.
Dr. David Azrad
No, thank you for having me. And I'm glad you're carrying on Charlie's legacy and you didn't cancel the show. Good for you.
Andrew Colvett
Thank you so much. Yeah, we. You know, I'll never forget, and I don't know if I've said this on the show, but, you know, it was basically a day or two after I remember Erica looked at us and she's like, you have to keep the show going. They will not cancel my husband's voice. They will not. And, you know, I do feel. And I know we've talked about this, we feel like we have, like, a Charlie GPT thing. In my head, it was because we were having a discussion about something yesterday, and I was like, I know Charlie would disagree with me on this, but this would be my perspective. And everybody's like, charlie would definitely disagree with you on that. I was like, I know I hear him in my head, but this would be our little collision of ideas.
Dr. David Azrad
Yeah, but look, you knew him much better than I did, but wasn't he all about disagreement? I mean, isn't that the saddest. I mean, aside from the personal human tragedy, is that they murdered someone who dedicated his life to dialoguing. And, you know, I have hot Mediterranean blood in me. I could have never demonstrated the patience and the forbearance that Charlie had listening to these morons ramble say the dumbest possible things and the genuine patience he exhibited in talking to them. And that's who they murdered. I mean, they killed the guy who I think best represented the conservative ideal of dialoguing with the other side. Which really raises the question whether, you know, we should keep on dialoguing with these people.
Andrew Colvett
Oh, interesting. Well, yeah, let me know. What are your thoughts, Doctor? I mean, you know, we just watched this no Kings rally, and I confess, I was having. I was having similar thoughts. I mean, if you're going, and we just had the Oxford Union folks on talking about what they Saw as there was a president elect that celebrated Charlie's murder, said let's effing go on a private WhatsApp group message. And there's a vote of no confidence that succeeded to oust him from this role. And it's not that we're anti free speech, but there is a line that you can cross and polite society, whatever you want to call it, common decency, common values in the West. There is a line where we say, I'm not arresting you for doing that. We're not suggesting that. But you do not deserve to represent this debate. You do not deserve to hold this position. You do not deserve to be a teacher of. And by the way, we're still waiting on Lucy Martinez, stem teacher at Nathan Hale Elementary School, who motioned to her neck with a with their hand mocking Charlie's assassination. We're waiting for Lucy Martinez to be fired. There is a line. And so maybe explain what you're thinking there, doctor.
Dr. David Azrad
I mean, look, I'm not trying to suggest that everyone on the left longs for violence and is completely unreasonable. There are still some, I think, genuine liberal voices on the left. You know the famous line, I disagree to the death of with you, but I'll fight. No, rather I disagree with what you say, but I'll fight with the death for your right to say it. There are reasonable Democrats. The problem I see is that there is a growing chorus of radical, fundamentally illiberal voices. We should not call them liberals. They're opposed to free speech. They don't believe in democracy. They don't respect the outcome of elections. And what worries me is that the supposed centrist, liberal, sane voices on the left don't stand up to them. They always see threats coming from the right. So the people on the left who say that I believe in dialogue and free speech and democracy, Viktor Orban, Donald Trump, Bukele, Charlie Kirk, immediately full blown freak out. I mean, this is fascism coming to America. Meanwhile, blm, antifa, no kings rally, assassinating or trying to assassinate public officials, murdering Charlie Kirk, silence, muted condemnations, or basically the sense that, well, he practically deserved it or we're better off without him. And you know, the real threat to democracy in America today comes from the left. I think the right recognizes it. And I would basically call on the reasonable voices on the left to realize that the threat today is on the left, but it's almost as if it's in their DNA and they have a very, very hard time recognizing threats to their left. They're just comfortable fighting, quote, unquote, Fascists.
Andrew Colvett
I think that's spot on. And I did a whole segment in hour one, Dr. Where I listed off all the tyrannical impulses or actions of the left during the last four years of Joe Biden that we don't hear anything about. Now all we're told is that we are enabling this dictator and we're gonna rue the day when they get power back. Cause it's like we already rued the day that Joe Biden was elected and all of us got targeted. Charlie had to be questioned from the J6 committee. I mean, this is what we had to do. And it was a. There's other examples that we could discuss. But I mean, here's the thing. I mean, they targeted grandmas. They went after Catholic schools. They said Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation. They obscured or hid or censored the origins of COVID I mean, there is example after example after example after example tried to throw Trump into prison. So we've already lived through their totalitarian impulses, yet they have the gall to tell us that we're the ones. So this is what's fascinating. So Karine Jean Pierre is on this book tour, media blitz, and she's kind of making a fool of herself everywhere she goes. I mean, even Colbert last night was like, you lied about, you know, President Biden's mental decline. She said, no, I promise I didn't. And it's like everybody, even Colbert is like, okay, I want to be really sweet to you, but you're leaving me no choice. Because, like, even we've given up the goat on that. So here. But here's what's crazy. She goes on MSNBC this morning, and she's saying, we need to see more teeth, more fire. Play cut 167. Right now, in this moment, it is. There's an existential threat.
Dr. David Azrad
Our democracy is hanging by a thread.
Andrew Colvett
Some people will say would say we're already an authoritarian regime. And I need to see teeth. I need to see fire. And not just me, many people are worried and concerned. So, Dr. Azrad, we heard a lot of people say that, you know, maybe after November 2024, we were gonna see the Democrat Party, moderate. But no, they want more fire. More teeth. I guess they wanna see more activists in the streets celebrating political assassinations. I don't know what she wants.
Dr. David Azrad
And look at the unhinged diagnosis. I mean, what evidence is there that we live in a tyranny, that Trump is trying to be a king? I mean, the guy ran on we should secure our border. I'm gonna deport illegals. I'm going to go after the worst excesses of wokeness and I believe in economic growth. You may not agree with these ideas, but he was duly elected. He won the electoral college by decisive margin. Not that it matters, but he also won the popular vote by I think it's 2 million votes. And so where exactly is the threat to our democracy? You brought up the list of things that happened under Biden. I always ask my students, setting aside what you think about the particular policy, what do you think is a greater threat to democracy? To enforce the existing laws on the books that were duly enacted by Congress and signed by presidents that say that if you enter the country illegally, you should be deported or to basically announce de facto open borders that we will no longer enforce. Enforce the laws. Not on something that doesn't matter, crucially, let's say underage drinking or, you know, an adult smoking pot in his basement doctor but rather in allowing the country.
Andrew Colvett
To be flooded by third world immigrants 1000%. That is the number one example. Gonna take a quick break. We'll be right back. All right. Welcome back to our Real American America's voice and streaming teams. Here. I want to tell you about why refi.com, why refi.com of course, if you have private student loan, they are the people that can help you get rid of it. 45 billion of that is labeled as distressed in the United States. 45 billion out of 300 billion in private student loans. Yrefi refinances distressed or defaulted private student loans that others won't even touch. When the payment on your distressed or defaulted private student loan is so big that you can never get ahead in your finances, why refi is your best option? Why refi can save you thousands of dollars by refinancing and even lowering your total cost. You can finally take control of your student loan situation with a plan that works for your monthly budget. And that's the key. They're going to look at what you can afford. Doesn't matter if you have bad credit. They're going to set up a payment situation that you can actually afford. So it doesn't matter if you're looking at a payment right now and you're like, there's no way I can fit that into my monthly budget. They will get it so that you can, you can work around it, that you can actually afford it and start getting ahead on this debt. Can you imagine being debt free and not living under this Burden anymore? The first step is contacting Y Refi. So just call 888-yrefi34, that's 888-yrefi34 or visit yrefi.com y r e f y.com and the best part is you can trust that they're good people. The people that run Run A why Refi are amazing. They've stood by us and they've stood by this show and they stood by Turning Point and they'll stand by you as well. So you can trust them. Take our word for it, please. Why? Revight.com all right, so we're going to continue on with Dr. Azrad from the great Hillsdale College in just a second. We welcome back national radio. But he wrote a piece about 2016, so nine years ago where he traced the roots of the modern left in this confusion fusion of what socialism is versus communism and are there different versions? And what are most Americans, especially millennial gen zers, who seem to be drawn to this? What do they actually mean when they say socialism? I think it's an important distinction and important conversation to have. So we're going to welcome him back with radio in just one second. We'll be right back. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show, Mikey McCoy, chief of staff here at Turning Point USA. Actually, I want to welcome him into the conversation. Dr. Azerad. He's with me here in studio. Mikey, go ahead. The floor is yours. Yeah.
Mikey McCoy
Dr. I think there's a place where you graduate beyond reason and the left is really good at doing this. Men being in women's restrooms is beyond reason. Teachers that you entrust with your children, doing finger guns at their neck at a no Kings rally to mock Charlie Kirk's death is beyond reason. And arresting grannies for being on the steps of The Capitol during January 6th is beyond reason, Especially when those same people who celebrated the arrest of old ladies for being on the steps of the Capitol then hit Trump saying that it's not an insurrection and he shouldn't try to stop crime in some of our biggest cities by enacting the Insurrection act. And so, Dr. The left is headed to increasingly to a place where they just do not care about common sense or reason. And I'm a little worried there's institutions like Hillsdale, but at these woke universities, I'm worried that these teachers are continuing to teach their students that reason no longer matters. And this isn't just on the universities. This is a thing as a whole when it comes to the left. What are you seeing when it comes.
Dr. David Azrad
To that Let me give you some Good news. The 60s radicals, where a lot of these ideas basically entered the American bloodstream and became mainstream. Look, the 60s was a failure because they failed to destroy the country. But it succeeded insofar as these people grew up, got PhDs, cut their hair, and became the professors who run the universities that are the nerve center of the regime and that credential and train the elites. But the 60s radicals, I think, were genuine revolutionaries who, all in all, did not want to be another brick in the wall. If you're old enough to get a Pink Floyd reference. I think the professors today, and many of the students are, for the most part, small, sold. They do not have the courage of their convictions. They talk a big game, but if you were to apply the slightest bit of pressure, I believe most of them would fold like lawn chairs. Let me give you maybe a flippant example. Threatened to revoke their parking privileges at the university in red states. At public universities, if they don't start behaving, if they stop pushing the crazy tranny agenda, most of them will fall, fold. We're not. We're dealing with an enemy. That, in a sense, appears impressive because their parties appear to be authoritative. They make so much noise. They control the institutional high ground. But on the other hand, my experience from debating them, reading their works, interacting with them, suggests that most of them are not true fanatics. They're just not used to encountering real opposition. And I think Trump's agenda and the second term on the universities gives us a glimpse into what could be possible. But we need a lot more of that, and we need red state governors to start putting pressure on their universities. It is completely unacceptable that public universities in red states are subsidized by tax dollars and continue to promote and teach completely unhinged theories. You know, I would say to Governor DeSantis, shut down every sociology department at a public university in Florida. It's a free country. If you want to study sociology, go to Rollins College or go to another state. But we, the taxpayers in Florida, will not subsidize these corrupt disciplines. Same things with environmental studies, women's studies, queer studies, black studies, if it's got studies in it, as a rule of thumb.
Andrew Colvett
Thumb.
Dr. David Azrad
It's a corrupt, bogus discipline. Shut it down.
Andrew Colvett
Charlie would be cheering you on right now, Doctor. So what. What do you say to the rebuttal, though? Where then they just say, well, I thought you were pro free speech. This is like Nazis burning books.
Dr. David Azrad
Well, I'm not forbidding the teaching of these disciplines. I'M saying they will not be subsidized by tax dollars. So I brought up Rollins College as a private liberal arts college in Florida. Let them teach whatever the hell they want. But why are red states subsidizing, you know, entire disciplines that are corrupt and don't contribute to the common good? Look, why do we have public universities? They're meant to serve the common good. We can exercise a judgment and say that certain disciplines do not and we won't subsidize them, we'll shut them down. Go teach it some somewhere else. It's not, you know, not teaching a book is not the same thing as forbidding its distribution. You know, when you go to Barnes and Nobles and they have these BS displays of banned books, Removing a book from a public library is not forbidding Amazon to sell it. It's saying the tax dollars are not going to be wasted on this garbage.
Andrew Colvett
Well, Dr. Azerad, this has been a really important conversation. I'm going to keep you over the break just for just a minute or two. And then we're going to have Jordan Harmon from Angel Studios coming in joining us about his new film. So I gotta move quick here, but you wrote this article. I'm just gonna tease it for the audience here and if you can't get it on radio, please check out the podcast. But you wrote an article in 2016 talking about the new red scare and you basically made the argument that most people, most Gen Z ers and millennials, when they say we like socialism. And these polls that we've all seen, they don't actually know what kind of social. Well, they don't know what it means. They think it just means we like being nice and maybe a little bit more subsidized than healthcare or whatever. So I want you to explain that in just a minute or two after we say goodbye to radio. Gonna continue on with Dr. Azerot in just one second.

His attempts to do so have been met with court challenges, most recently in Chicago where an appeals court ruled against the president's push for a troop deployment. Crisis averted as police arrest a would be mass shooter at Atlanta airport just before he was allegedly set to go on a shooting rampage at the world's busiest airport. Investigators say the 49 year old described his plan to shoot up Atlanta Hartsfield Airport while streaming on social media, leading his family to report it to police and he was ultimately arrested. That's a quick check of your headlines. Waking up who woke you should get.
Andrew Colvett
Over that quickly, one brainwashed radical at a time.
Dr. James Orr
That's enough.
Andrew Colvett
It's the Charlie Kirk show. All right. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. We got some breaking news and we also have Jordan Harmon on the from Angel Studios has just joined us on set. We're really excited to have a conversation with him. First, I'm going to tell you about Hillsdale College. We just talked about Hillsdale with Dr. Azerad. Here we go. History, economics, the great works of literature. You study these things in school? Probably not. But even if you did, probably time for a good refresher course. And nobody is better to do that than the folks over at Hillsdale College. There's a course taught by Dr. Larry Arne on totalitarian novels that includes 1984, Brave New World, Darkness at Noon and that Hideous Strength. Even though these novels were written in the 1930s and 40s they are highly relevant today as they show what a tyrannical government, a real one that we just lived through for four years, does to human nature. More importantly, they can show us that faith, family, and friends are worth fighting for. Maybe you read these books a long time ago, maybe you've heard others talk about them and you find them a little intimidating. You don't have to let the folks at Hillsdale College help you make the most of them. Go to CharlieForHillsdale.com that's CharlieForHillsdale.com CharlieForHillsdale.com the great folks at Hillsdale College. So, really quick, couple news items just to get out of the way. There was a planned meeting between the US And Russia that has been called off. Marco Rubez called that off. So I want to make sure the audience knows that. So they're having productive calls, but the meeting has been called off. So the little saber rattling and all that. And then in other news, John Brennan has been referred for criminal charges by Jim Jordan. So those are topics that we're gonna probably have to unpack tomorrow. But that is all breaking, and it's very fascinating stuff, and we will get to it, I promise. But in the meantime, we're gonna welcome Jordan Harmon from Angel Studios. Welcome to the set. You walked in and you said, what is. I think, you know, the first time that when you come to this set and you see Charlie's empty chair, it is a bit surreal.
Jordan Harmon
Yeah, I mean, it's. I mean, obviously, the last time I was here, we had lunch with Charlie, and I remember talking to him during lunch and asking him, you know, do you ever worry about something, you know, some crazy going and doing something crazy on one of these campuses? And he's like, you know, if that's the way God takes me, then that's the way I go. And obviously, that hits differently now because it's like, you know, he's not here anymore. And so, yeah, it's. It's surreal for so many. I have so many emotions walking into this room because it's. You know, he just. He was one of the best of us.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, well said. I mean, Mikey can attest to. I mean, we. I think we all had our moment like that with him where we talked about that stuff, and he was incredibly courageous and brave.
Jordan Harmon
And I mean, with. With that being said, like, over the last 12 years since we started angel, it's obviously grown over the years, but we've gone through so many ups and downs. And Charlie, from the moment we met him, became a fan of what we were doing, and he. He defended us in. In the ups and the downs. I think that's kind of a testament to what many people have said is when they were in their hardest times. You know, I was chatting with Will Scharf a couple weekends ago, and he was just saying he was in his darkest moment, and the first person to call him and text him was Charlie.
Andrew Colvett
You know, like, classic.
Jordan Harmon
It's just. That's just who he was. And so, you know, there was many times, whether it was through controversies or frustrations or people, you know, angel going through different times in our company's history, Charlie was pretty. I mean, he was constant. Like, he was there. He wanted to support. He loved what we were doing. And so, man, I'm just honored and grateful to be here.
Andrew Colvett
Well, thank you for making the time to come out. But, Mikey, I don't know if you want to chime in on that, because that's so Char. What you're explaining is, like, so Charlie.
Mikey McCoy
Yeah.
Dr. James Orr
When.
Mikey McCoy
When somebody's down, the first person to reach out to them, that's Charlie.
Jordan Harmon
And it's.
Mikey McCoy
He's also the most loyal person ever, and that it. It didn't matter if you had done something so bad, if he was loyal to you, he would. He would step up for you and be there when you needed somebody the most. And is typical him, so I'm not surprised.
Jordan Harmon
Yeah, he's always an uplifting guy.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah. And you actually, you know, you guys put out a video, I guess, like, the week after it happened, like, maybe a week after, whatever, and you just. You honored Charlie. I thought it was so well done, and I thought it was so tasteful, you know, because there was people trying to. I think. I don't know, they just would do it wrong. They do it in a way that was just not quite right. And you just did it in a way where you. You were honoring Charlie's legacy. You were honoring what he meant to you, what he meant to angel, and you were. It was like a heart cry of just your mourning and your grief. And I thought it was just really beautiful. And I remember I sent it to a bunch of people, and I said, like, listen, if you want to honor Charlie, this is the model. This is how you do it, because it really. You could just see it came from your heart. And I knew that you were reflecting in the piece of just, like, everything that Charlie had meant to you guys personally, but how he had helped champion your company and how devastated you were that he wasn't there to do that anymore for You.
Jordan Harmon
Yeah, I think, you know, there. It's funny because you say that I was. I've read this message multiple times, and I'm sure that anybody who's had a direct relationship with Charlie has probably gone back through their messages and read messages from him. But I remember, you know, one of the last messages he sent me was because we had, you know, obviously, King of Kings had blown up. He had been a huge part of promoting that because he loved it for his kids and his family.
Andrew Colvett
And I.
Jordan Harmon
You know, I deeply wish he could have seen David the movie coming out this Christmas, because it has that same impact. But his text messages said, because I was just saying thanks for fighting the good fight. And he said, thank you. And then he always included an incredible scripture, you know, that was always so timely. Romans 10, 9. Because if you confess your mouth that Jesus is the Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you'll be saved. And he said, let's share the truth of the resurrection daily with boldness and love. God bless you, my friend. So he's just. I mean, he's just. That's like everything he did was his testimony in Jesus Christ. And it's just like.
Andrew Colvett
It's.
Jordan Harmon
Man, sorry. I told myself I was not going to get emotional today.
Andrew Colvett
Trust me.
Dr. James Orr
And.
Jordan Harmon
And it's impossible. My wife and I have had many tears.
Andrew Colvett
So, anyway, yeah, you know, it's one of those things, like, we have this terrible reality that we live in where, like, people either think we're being, like, too happy or too sad or we're not doing it right. And it's like, everybody's a critic, and it's like, you know, it's one of those things where it's not. I mean, you know, the mourning process is not linear. And it comes in waves.
Jordan Harmon
It does.
Andrew Colvett
And you take it, Mikey.
Mikey McCoy
Yeah.
Andrew Colvett
You got that Northern European stomach.
Mikey McCoy
He lived his faith every day and every morning, he would send a scripture that he would go through his phone and just send off a scripture, everybody. And we talk a lot about people just living their faith. And I've had a conversation with Erica and Frank Turek about how Charlie, when he was killed, died at the peak of his faith. And it was like he had loved the Lord the most at that moment in time.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah.
Mikey McCoy
And how much he was reading the Bible and how much he was studying it and prepping for it. That entire campus tour, he had a big notebook of things to reference. It was the binder, but then he had a second binder that was all just Bible oriented and what Andrew said. These things were prove me wrongs. They're debates, but they're really tent revivals. And he was always proclaiming the name of Jesus at these things. And it's amazing thing, it's a challenge for all of us to not just live our faith, but hopefully one day we can die at the peak of our faith.
Jordan Harmon
That's super powerful. I wish I. There was parts of me that wishes I had been because, I mean, he was in Utah, he was five minutes from our office of, you know, when he, when he was killed. And so that, that assassination, when it happened, I was actually in New York City because we were going public the next day and. And I got the message on Liberty island with my wife and kids. And I was standing behind the Statue of Liberty when I got the message, like, this can't be real. Like one. I knew he was at uvu. Had we not been going public that week, I probably would have been there at UVU with you guys at the tent. But I was like, you know, I saw the message and I was standing by and it just like this huge, like it settled in and that. It was like, the first thing I thought of was like, God, why did you let them take like one of the best of us who's just like, driving this forward? And then it kind of came into my mind. No, it's because he's one of the best of us. That God let him take him because. And that God was going to. It became clear in my mind that God was going to use that moment to do something special. And then you look the last, like, you know, month and a half and how incredibly powerful it's been, I. I do believe, although I wish I could have been there. I'm glad Jeff and Neil made it to the memorial, but I. I had some conflicts with family stuff. But I do believe that that memorial service probably, I say probably has a caveat, but I believe it was the most broadcasted moment of testifying of Jesus Christ that's ever happened in human history.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah, I definitely believe it's at least one singular moment. Yeah, I mean, we tracked over 120 million streams just like from our stuff. And there was countless, I mean, I'm telling countless other accounts that were just taking the stream. And so we had no idea how many. How broad it was, but at least 120 million. But probably, let's just say double that, maybe triple, who knows?
Jordan Harmon
Like God said, I'm calling you home and I'm going to accelerate your mission.
Andrew Colvett
You know, One of the things that I heard from multiple people was this vision, and the fact that you hear it from multiple people almost, I think it actually strengthens the fact that it's probably true is that. And it's hard for me to talk about, especially because you got the emotions for me flowing, so I'm going to try my best here. But, you know, they saw this picture of Charlie standing before the Lord, and right as it happened, and that he was perplexed, he was joyful. You know, he's standing before the Lord. Of course there's joy there, but he's also perplexed. And he looks back and he said, I want to go back. You know, I want to go back to Erica and I have this mission. And God was like. Jesus was like, yeah, you can go, but before you do, I want you to see the harvest if you stay and if you come home. And the Lord showed him the harvest, and Charlie said, okay, Lord, I'll come home.
Jordan Harmon
I love that.
Andrew Colvett
And I believe that we are just at the very beginning of seeing what the harvest ultimately will be and how many more Charlie Kirks there's going to be just born out of this moment and how much. How many, you know, make heaven crowded was what Charlie and Erica used to always say to each other. And I think. I think that Charlie's life is ultimately the embodiment of that very idea. And I just, you know, for what it's worth, I mean, you know, the King of Kings, Charlie loved promoting that project because it was right on Easter. And, you know, it was one of the. Like, there's. I'll be honest, there's some projects you guys would do that he was more enthusiastic than others. But King of Kings was one of the top, top ones because, I mean, what's not to love about? It was just about Jesus, and it really was, like, hits for you, really big. And I know Charlie played a big role in that, because I kept hearing, like, Charlie, Charlie's. You know, his reads are amazing, and, like, he's really getting a lot of people out to this thing. So maybe just in the minute we have in this segment, tell us about that particular project and what he did for it, and then we'll talk about the truth and treason in Young Washington coming up.
Jordan Harmon
Yeah, I mean, Charlie, obviously, with King of Kings, that came out at Easter. It was. It was for us that we, The Angel Guild, our membership, that has to greenlight every project before we ever take it out into distribution. They gave that one of the highest rated ratings we've seen to date. And it really was kind of the passion of the Christ for kids where they could go and experience something that was monumental. And there were so many moments actually in that movie where we saw people would send in footage of kids just, just in tears watching Christ be crucified, but in this way that was approachable and meaningful. And I think Charlie caught that vision like right off. And so he went into that and just was constantly doing his reads and talking about it more than he ever needed to. And it did have an impact. Ended up being the number one biblical animated opening of all time. And it's coming up on 80 million in the global box office, which is absolutely remarkable.
Andrew Colvett
That's fantastic. And our team went and found your tribute to CK Video. So we're gonna play that.
Jordan Harmon
Goodness.
Andrew Colvett
Nice to watch that in just a few seconds. But yeah, first I want to tell you guys about Good Ranchers. Really amazing people over at Good Ranchers. That's of course Ben and Corly Spell. They're running it. They share our values. They share the same values that we have on this show. And at Turning Point, Charlie believed in putting faith in family first. And that's what exactly what Good Ranch is all about. They are a Christian American owned company delivering 100% American meat. That's beef, chicken and seafood right to your door. No imported junk, no compromise. In a time when big corporations are bowing to the woke agendas that are getting pushed on all of us, Good Ranches is standing strong for God, country and common sense. They support American farmers, honor biblical values and provide a product that's honest, transparent and rooted in the same principles we fight for every day. Charlie was a proud customer. He loved the chicken nuggets. I love the chicken nuggets. Seed oil free. The kids will eat them. Trust me, they'll eat them up. Seed oil free. And they're just delicious. He trusted them and you should too. Visit goodranchers.com use the code Kirk K I R K when you subscribe for an additional $40 off plus free meat for life. That's Kirk for $40 off plus free meat for life. Check out that amazing company with those amazing people. We will be right back in just a minute. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The Charlie Kirk Show. Our good friends at Angel Studios.
Jordan Harmon
I love Angel Studios.
Andrew Colvett
Amazing new film this Holy Week. Phenomenal.
Jordan Harmon
As I think about Charlie's life and how much of a supporter he was of angel, it's hard not to feel so grateful for what he did. He supported us in our Darkest days and in our brightest hours as a company. Jeff and I and Charlie were doing lunch together. We asked him, we said, are you. Are you at all worried about one of these college campuses? And he just said, with so much peace in his eyes and so much peace in his heart, if that's how God takes me, then that's how I'm supposed to go. And I feel like that was a clear message that Charlie's life is a testimony to Jesus Christ, his Lord and savior. And his relationship with him was the most important thing that he would want the world to remember about his legacy. Man, are we grateful to have gotten to be a little connection in the multitude of connections that he made throughout his life because it was so impactful to us. Thank you, Charlie.
Andrew Colvett
Love you.
Jordan Harmon
We miss you. We're going to continue to drive forward the good news.
Andrew Colvett
All right, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show. Andrew Colvett here with Mikey McCoy and Jordan Harmon from Angel Studios. And you guys have a couple projects coming up. And by the way, we just played, if you missed it, the tribute, beautiful tribute that you did in the immediate aftermath. I just thought it was so, so well done and so heartfelt. So thank you for that. If you missed it, I'm sure they could find it on your social media, if you can, and then. But you have Truth and Treason. That one's the one that's coming up soon.
Jordan Harmon
It just came out this last weekend.
Andrew Colvett
Oh, it did.
Jordan Harmon
Opening weekend was this last weekend. You can go get tickets right now. No, no, you're good. The interesting thing about this film is it's been. The director's been working on it for almost 20 years, and we've been involved for almost half a decade. And this film, when the whole Charlie thing happened, it was this moment where, like, this film is more timely than ever. It's a. You know, it's about this young man who. And tell me if this sounds familiar, you have this young man who sees culturally, his entire society going in a direction that he thinks is absolutely atrocious. And he takes his faith and truth and words and he goes and types out these words into pamphlets and spreads them all over Hamburg, Germany, to try to get truth out to the German people in a way. And. And, you know, anybody who's. Who's experienced real fascism, you know, you can't. You can't say what you want to say.
Andrew Colvett
Yeah.
Dr. David Azrad
And.
Jordan Harmon
And so this. But this, this young man, his name is Helmut Huminer. It cost him his life. And so when the whole Charlie thing happened, we were Releasing this movie literally in the next month. And we were just like, wow, what? This is Charlie's story. It's this young man who spoke truth, who was unapologetic about his faith. And, and he. He sacrificed everything for it.
Andrew Colvett
And he died at what, 17.
Jordan Harmon
17 years old. He's the youngest resistant fighter to ever be executed.
Andrew Colvett
That's. That's just. That's incredible. An incredible story and terribly tragic, but a really powerful film here. 172. So a little bit longer trailer, but I want to. I just want to be able to soak in it because these, these, this content is really important for our culture. So I want to soak in. At 172. Look what I found. I'm looking at a little red leaflet which cools the fear of the great deceiver of the people. And enough people find out what's really going on and stand up. Put an end to it. I'm in.
Dr. James Orr
We can change things.
Andrew Colvett
You just have to.
Jordan Harmon
To take the first step.
Terrence Bates
It must be stated that his treasonous actions are inexcusable.
Andrew Colvett
There it is. Jew.
Jordan Harmon
I think it's just a matter of time now.
Andrew Colvett
I could hide you. Mr. Big Shot Resistance Fighter. He can't even talk to that girl at work. Careful. You never know who's watching.
Jordan Harmon
You know what happens if they catch you.
Andrew Colvett
You thought this through before you planned your little coup, right? Who tried to get us all killed? I'm not afraid to die. Hit the knows that we begin to see through him. The truth will prevail. Yeah. I mean, that's powerful. And you know, something that Charlie was very well aware of is that if you speak the truth clearly, boldly, and you call out the lies of a culture, in this case, obviously this was Nazi Germany. But if you do it, and I mean, the same thing happened to lots of people actually, I think it was Socrates. Was it for speaking the truth? When you speak the truth and you attack the gods of any age, the false gods of any age, then you are confronting powers that. That are hostile. And, and that's what this story is essentially about for, for me.
Jordan Harmon
And I, I look at this story in a very unique way in that there's been this really disconcerting behavior that's been happening culturally where the far left is framing everybody as Nazis and Trump is Hitler. And this, this story goes into what real fascism looks like. Like what we're experiencing today where people get like, you wouldn't be able to do a no kings protest in Nazi Germany. You know, that, that, that doesn't exist.
Terrence Bates
No.
Jordan Harmon
And so I do think it's important that we get out there and that we, we put our foot down and we say enough's enough on the, this branding of anybody who has an alternate opinion or is a conservative or a more liberty minded person as becoming a, calling them a fascist or that they're, they're a Nazi.
Andrew Colvett
Well, and we're running out of time here, and I apologize, but you also have Young Washington coming up, right?
Jordan Harmon
Yeah. Amazing movie.
Andrew Colvett
That's going to be huge.
Jordan Harmon
250Th.
Andrew Colvett
I want to. Yeah. For the 250 anniversary, which also sort of reminds me of Charlie, as I do think of him as a modern founding father. But I want to make sure people, if they want to see it, where do they go? They go to Angel.
Jordan Harmon
You can go to angel.com kirk. You'll see all of our stuff on there. If you want to specifically look up Young Washington project, just still go to angel.com kirk. You'll see all of our projects upcoming. Anyone that's streaming currently and all the ones that are in theater. So again, we're grateful, honored to be here. So grateful for Charlie, his legacy and what you guys are doing.
Andrew Colvett
Thank you so much. We'll see you guys tomorrow with more of the Charlie Kirk Show. This is an I heart podcast.

With appearances by key culture warriors, it is a must-listen for those interested in the intersection of politics, law, and faith in post-2024 America—and for those seeking to make sense of contemporary conservative thought in a period of rapid change and controversy.
