Chicago did experience a particularly brutal Labor Day weekend.
Police say 56 people were shot, seven were killed.
Donald Trump
Chicago's very interesting because I watched Pritzker get up and say about we don't need help, we're safe. But over the last two days, it was the, that was the, the crown jewel. They had, I guess nine killed. Nine or 10 killed and 50 hit with bullets.

And you have this governor get up, who's a terrible governor. Probably he and Gavin Newscomb would be probably the two worst and most naive. The naive. Either they're naive or they're very untruthful. And he'll say, we don't want any protection. We don't need. So in the last three weeks, he's lost almost 20 people killed.
Charlie Kirk
Shootings will continue as long as this presidential administration continues to put politics over people.

According to online records, Livingston's history of random acts of violence against women goes back eight years. In 2004. In 2017, he was accused of randomly attacking two women months apart. Both cases were dropped. In 2022, Livingston was sentenced to five years in prison after prosecutors said he punched and attempted to rob four women within 20 minutes in the loop. And yet just 14 months later, in 2023, while on parole, Livingston was arrested for hitting a woman in the face on North Michigan avenue. And in 2024, he was sentenced to 100 days in prison after punching a 15 year old girl.

Some whack job put in a lawsuit. It went before a very liberal court and the liberal court ruled it was 11. They ruled 7 to 4. With one of the most liberal of them all voting in our favor because they're patriots. I think I give tremendous credit to that judge. And now it's going to the Supreme Court. Now we're going to be asking for early admittance. We're going tomorrow and we're going to ask for expedited, an expedited ruling because. Because we need an early decision. I mean, look, it's a very important decision. And frankly, if they make the wrong decision, it will be devastation for our country.

As your next mayor of this city. Yes, I will freeze the rent for more than 250,000 rent stabilized apartments.

Last week I did numerous news conferences, all successful. They went very well. Like this is going very well. And then I didn't do any for two days. And they said there must be something wrong with him. Biden wouldn't do him for months. You wouldn't see him. And nobody ever said there was ever anything wrong with him. And we know he wasn't in the greatest of shape.

Buckle up. Here we go. Okay, everybody, radio stations across the country, honored to be with you as always. You can email us freedomarliekirk.com we are here in the Bitcoin.com studio. We had an amazing event last night in Visalia, California. It's right in the Central Valley there. That is where you get your pistachios from your almonds, from some of your tomatoes, some of your citrus. We had 2,700 people. It was a paid ticketing event for Tulare right to life. And they do. They did A phenomenal job. They could have had another thousand people. Isabel Brown was there. It was just a very special evening. Just being around the grassroots, the support is greater than ever. And watch the Charlie Kirk show. They listen to the podcast, they see what we're doing. So thank you guys and God bless you. It was an amazing event. We're going to play some pieces of tape there. You'll see right there. That is 2,700 people there last evening in Visalia, California. Just felt great being back out. As we prepare for yet another ambitious campus tour, I am going to an undisclosed location to a nation that I will not tell you tonight. In fact, I'm going to really set Twitter ablaze tonight. I'm going to be like, I'm going to say, I'm going to tweet out. I'm going to a foreign nation 14 hours away. What country do you think it is you're going to see? It's just going to be a fun tweet. We're going to do that. But speaking of foreign nations, yesterday something really important happened. And all the headlines are focused on the optics and the esthetics and the visuals, which is fine, but it's deeper than that. Yesterday was the 80 year anniversary of Victory Day, or the essentially the founding of the Chinese Communist Party. The visuals were obviously impressive. Look, totalitarian countries, they do military parades quite well. They're able to mobilize everything without any of the media clamoring or yammering. And it was impressive. From the nuclear arsenal to their investments in the military the Chinese Communist Party wanted to put on full display for the rest of the world. And especially it really was all designed for an audience of one. The military parade was really designed for one person, and that person, of course, is President Donald Trump. The Chinese were doing, as you can see, propaganda of their bombers and of their aircraft. They're investing billions and billions of dollars in their military. Now, their military is still a fraction of, of our entire military investment. It's still about 200 to $300 billion a year. However, you have to wonder, even though they spend a fraction that we do, they probably don't have the bloat and the waste and the government contractors that we do. You have to wonder if they're able to spread that a little bit more than we do. We waste a ton of money on our military, a ton of money on Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. However, I think there is definitely still an admission from independent analysts that we have military weaponry and technology that they still do. Not have. We pay soldiers a ton of money. They do not. They're able to draft anyone they want. They're a country of 770 million able bodied people and a country of well over a billion individuals. They have hypersonic missile. We may be behind on some weapons. They might have hypersonic missiles that we don't have. By the way, I'm putting these visuals up on screen here because we have focused on a lot of different topics. Mass migration, the Islamism rising in the West. But I think what yesterday should be a reminder is a little bit of a early fall wake up call. We already know that the Chinese Communist Party is a great threat to us, but me even saying that is important. Let's ask the very simple question, what is China? Is China our friend? Are they a rival like Joe Biden called them? Are they an adversary? I think they're an enemy of the United States of America. I've said it once and I'll say it again. They have internationalist ambitions. They want to expand their territory. Now, does that mean, I believe that we should go to a kinetic conflict against them? Of course not. But we need to start treating them at the very least like a serious rival. At the very least. The Chinese Communist Party just threw an inside fastball. That was a brush back pitch yesterday. And not only did they have that, they brought Vladimir Putin, they brought Kim Jong Un, they brought a lot of the other tyrannical autocrats from the region in a massive show of force. Oh, there's the Vice President of China. I actually met that guy. Can we get, we should get that picture. I met. I. It was one of the funniest stories. I think I told the Vice President of China story once. I think I told on Thought Crime. I met him at the inauguration. I went up and asked for a picture and then I think they tapped my phone. This is a much tougher rivalry than the Cold War. We just gotta be honest about it. The Soviet Union was hobbled by a terrible, terrible economy. You see, the Soviet Union, they were pure ideologues. They really were. The Soviet Union had a council of actual Marxists that refused to ever embrace market principles. They were actual ideologues. The Chinese economic model is a lot different. It's far more pragmatic. They're basically what works, what makes us rich. If we have to liberalize some areas, we will. But if we have to be totalitarian in other ways, we'll also do that. The Chinese Communist Party's economy is still not as big as ours. Still not the latest GDP numbers show that Chinese Communist Party is maybe around 18 to 20 trillion dollars. We're around 27 to 28 trillion dollars. We owe a lot more money. By the way, our national debt is way above the Chinese Communist Party national debt. Remember, the USSR was a multi ethnic mess, which is why it collapsed. China is overwhelmingly Chinese. They have some Uyghur Muslim problems and they mistreat them, but they're largely off in the rural areas. And China is very nationalist. And China is in a moment. You have to look at where is the moment in empire. And next year we celebrate our 250th anniversary, our 250th birthday as a nation. Well, since we're celebrating our 250th birthday, that's about as long as empires last. It's about the expiration date. The Chinese Communist Party is at year 80. I want you to think about where we were in year 80. Year 80, we were fighting a civil war. Year 80, we were still trying to find our national identity. Once we got through the civil War, we then had basically an uninterrupted rise to a superpower with, you know, industrial revolution, World War II, World War II. But we did not have serious existential threats to the homeland post civil war. Once we got through that civil war, right around our 80th birthday approximation, then we were able to basically have a glide pattern up towards being the superpower of the 19th century, late late 9th century, 20th century, and of course, now the 21st century. Those two oceans in Canada and Mexico being next to us are quite helpful. And of course, we've made mistakes, we've slipped in some ways, but we are still the world superpower and we still have this window of opportunity. We still have this window where we have a great president, we have a mandate, we have a nationalistic undercurrent in our country where we need to have a very serious moment and say, what exactly is China? Why are we not treating them in the way we should be? Or maybe we should not be treating that way. President Donald Trump had some very harsh words for the Chinese Communist Party today. He said, I was not happy in many ways. He said, I was not happy with what I saw. And I know it was for me, I was very impressed, but I was not pleased by G. Pink's comments. He had some very harsh words. Today, President Trump is rebuilding our military. But you have to Wonder, for every $1 that we spend in our military, I would just conjecture the Chinese Communist Party is able to probably spend like 25 cents. I bet they get way more bang for their buck on military spending than we do. And we can't always see this in terms of money. That's a very important thing. This is about who is going to win and own the 21st century. We need to see this in terms of real strength. Are we innovative? Are we merit based? Are we entrepreneurial? Are we unified? Are we strong? Are we aspirational? Forget all the economic data right now. Yes, we have the incumbent advantage. Can we make stuff it takes. I mean, just for example, we're doing this construction project at Turning Point USA to install a gate. And it is the most bureaucratic. It's taken literally like a year and a half to install a very simple gate. And I thought, I turned to my team the other day outside of this whole victory day parade, I said, in China, this would take like a week. In China, this would just take a week. You just wave a hand and you get it done. Now, in some ways that's bad. It would probably not be up to code or whatever. But China's, they're able to source rare earth minerals, they're able to build new factories, they're able to roll out new robots. We increasingly have difficulty doing those things. Now, I'm not, I'm not painting a doomerist picture where there's a lot of advantages we have over the Chinese Communist Party, but I gotta be honest, when I, I went to a national forest national park over the weekend, Sedona, it's actually not a national park, national forest. And there was products sold by the US Government. This drove me nuts. And this is not a criticism of President Trump. He inherited it from Joe Biden. But we gotta fix it. The Department of Interior is selling merchandise made in China. Our own US Government is selling merchandise that is made in China. We don't make stuff anymore. But we should. As always, freedom charliekirk.com in order for us to keep talking about China, it's very important that all of you in the audience know the name and the book. First Francis Fukuyama and the book the End of History and the Last Man. It was published in 1992. Remember the context of when this book was published. This book was published right after the fall of the Soviet Union. This was peak neoliberal arrogance. This was about the crescendo of the ruling class of the west that believed that this was the end of all human government, that liberal democracy had emerged as literally the final form of human government. The claim wasn't that history literally ends, but that the ideological evolution has reached its endpoint. No rival system at the time in 1992 seemed capable of challenging liberal democracy in legitimacy or performance. We assumed the American way had won forever. And I was raised in this context. I was told by teachers, I was told by professionals. Charlie, the more that we trade with China soon they're going to be wearing Levi jeans and having McDonald's in Tiananmen Square and they'll be listening on their ipods. And once they do that, they're going to embrace free speech, they're going to embrace American values, and they will de radicalize and decouple from totalitarianism. This book, the End of History and the Last man by Francis Fukuyama, without a doubt was one of the most important arrogant theses of the 1990s. It set the tone for the American ruling class. Because the wall had fallen, the enemy of the Soviet Union collapsed. We did it without having to go to a kinetic war. It felt as if we did not just win a war, but we won an ideological battle. And boy, did we get cocky. Our leaders assumed anybody who came to America from China will decide America's way is better than China's and either join our team or fight to make China be on our side. But if you really think about it, if you come here today from China, what are you likely to think? Cities are filthy, they're murderous, they're dangerous. And as we have declined in virtue in our country, it's much harder to have liberty when you do not have virtue, when you do not have a virtuous people, when you do not have strong families, when you do not, when you do not have people going to church, liberty quickly becomes license. Bill Clinton articulated this best. Bill Clinton celebrated the entrance of the Chinese Communist Party into the World Trade Organization. I want you to put up the B roll again of the the Chinese military police. The Chinese military with their tanks and their missiles rolling through the streets. You guys paid for that? This is paid for by the US Citizen. This is paid for by your beanie babies. This is paid for by your baseballs. This is paid for by your textiles. Hey, that's paid for by your vitamin C and by your antibiotics. Bill Clinton helped design this order. But this was all because of Fukuyama's argument. This is very important. Fukuyama gave them the arrogance that if we started trading with China, we would get super rich. The economic elite would then be able to have more capital, and then China would liberalize and the whole world would live in liberal democratic harmony. That sounds so dumb when I say it today, now in 2025. But that's exactly the context of which all these decisions were made. World Trade Organization, NAFTA play cut393 Bringing.
Donald Trump
China into the WTO is a win, win decision. It will protect our prosperity and it.
Senator Mike Lee
Will promote the Right.
Donald Trump
Kind of change in China. It is good for our farmers, for our manufacturers and for our investors. Encouraging China to play by international rules, I say again, is an important step toward a safer, saner world.
Charlie Kirk
Now instead of China changing, we've actually become more like China. Not in the good ways, by the way. Less free speech, more oligarchic governance and untouchable billionaire class. We became more like them. They did not adapt. They did not liberalize. They don't have free speech. You can't challenge the government. You can't own firearms. China is more totalitarian than they were either in the 1990s. And this is where all the experts again, which should just be completely discounted, they're like, well, you can't have economic liberty without personal liberty. Oh yeah, you can. China's proven you can. You can own stuff and be hyper materialistic and have no other personal freedom. You can go to the mall and shop and do stuff and still not be able to go to Church. The 1990s Francis Fukuyama, end of history Bill Clinton, the dot com era. We won. And instead of entering the victory with humility, we also did the 1990 Immigration Act. We opened up our borders to the entire world. And now in 2025, we are reckoning with the consequences of the cockiness of the leaders of the 1990s. So much what we are living through is because of the arrogance and the pride of a ruling class in America that saw the wall fall in Berlin and said, we won, baby. Bring in the foreigners, import the plastic, make us rich. It's the end of history. Turns out history was just getting started. We'll be right back.
Terrence Bates
Welcome back to this real America's Voice news break. I'm Terrence Bates. President Trump is meeting privately right now with the president of Poland. The two are set to have lunch. They just hosted the media in the Oval Office as both of them answered quite questions, some domestic, some on foreign policy. Here's our Brian Klin asking the president about California.
Senator Mike Lee
Mr. President, in regards to Gavin Newsom.
Terrence Bates
Would you be open to a congressional.
Charlie Kirk
Investigation in regards to the specific Palisades fire that killed 12 seniors to see if there's any negligence on Gavin Newsom or Karen Bass in regards to those deaths?
Donald Trump
Well, I'll tell you, there's negligence on not getting people permits. That is negligent. We got all of the federal permits. LEE zeldin the federal permits are much more difficult. They were all gotten within 30 days. People could go build their houses. It's going to be years before they are allowed to build the house. And Karen Bass is grossly incompetent. And Newsom, he's. This is a very incompetent guy. I watched him with the hands. I'm saying, what's going on with the hands? There's something wrong with. There's something wrong with him. Do you watch him? There's something wrong with this guy.
Charlie Kirk
But.
Donald Trump
And more importantly, he didn't allow the water to come from the Pacific Northwest. You know, they have tremendous amounts of water in California. People don't know. They send the water out to the Pacific Ocean. So I demand that it be open. If that were open during the fire, before the fire, you wouldn't have had the fire because all the sprinklers would have worked in the houses. They had no water. They had no water in the fire hydrants. You wouldn't have had the fires. It would have been put out after one house, two houses. But he stopped the water from coming in. And I had to send in the military to have that water opened after the fires. And now they have water, but he should have more because they've restricted. They still restrict it. There's something wrong with these people. There's something really wrong. As to investigation, I view it as a gross incompetence. I view it as an ideology that's wrong. It's a radical left ideology. And. And if I didn't win this election, I think our country would be destroyed. I don't believe you'd be here right now, and our country would be destroyed.
Terrence Bates
President Trump sit down with his Polish counterpart throughout the day. In the meantime, let's get you back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
Nathan Finocchio
Patriots love him, Leftists hate him. Nobody ignores him. It's the Charlie Kirk Show.

Okay, everybody, welcome back. Email us. As always, freedom. Charliekirk.com I want to tell you guys about tick tock economicimpact.com that is tick tock economicimpact.com TikTok has helped US businesses contribute over $24 billion to the US economy. That's real money flowing into small businesses. TikTok is helping small businesses thrive, and that is adding up. I used to be a TikTok skeptic, and people, you know, they have feedback or whatever. I got billions and billions of views that we reached on TikTok. It's really amazing. Let's play this one right here of this video. Oh, this is one of my favorites. This one got, like, tens of millions of views. Let's play cut 266.
Are you actually gonna let me talk for longer than five seconds.
Go ahead.
You keep interrupting me. Every time I actually try to, every time I try to actually explain my point and have a reasonable conversation with you, you cut me off. I was trying to explain. You cut me off. Started talking about something completely different. You started bringing up random stats and random facts to try to make me look stupid.
And she, she said I was interrupting her. Well, she had 30 seconds uninterrupted. TikTok economic impact.com that's TikTok economic impact.com joining us now is a great friend, an amazing person, Senator Mike Lee from the wonderful state of Utah. Senator Lee, great to see you. Senator. I am going to Utah next week, a week from today at the wonderful Utah Valley State University. All are welcome. You guys can get your tickets@americancomebacktour.com Senator Lee, this is already making a lot of headlines. People are very angry. They're calling for my cancellation. They think our permit should be pulled. What? This is a greater response than when I go to Berkeley. Senator Lee, what is going on in the beautiful state of Utah?
Senator Mike Lee
Well, first of all, Charlie, I want to thank you for the work that you're doing on campuses across the country and for your interest in visiting Utah next week. You're giving students everywhere the chance to hear perspectives that they often wouldn't otherwise get. You've been on the front lines defending free speech, especially where it's been most under pressure, as it has been on college campuses all over the country. And I'm so glad that you're bringing that fight to Utah State University and Utah Valley University next week. Look, free speech shouldn't stop at the campus gates. If anything, we should have a heightened degree of attention and focus, a heightened degree of protectiveness around free speech on campuses because the learning environment necessarily requires open, honest conversations where different viewpoints are examined. Our students deserve open discussion and vigorous debate and not just the same sanitized woke version that so many college administrators and faculty members seem to prefer and seem to demand exclusively Utahn's belief in open debate and free exchange of ideas. What you're doing helps to ensure students get that experience. Because if students can't handle diverse ideas in college, how are they ever going to handle that in real life? So look, I, I hope and expect that your visit to Utah will be productive, that you will be able to speak. They're not going to exclude you. And I anticipate that once you're there, a lot of the naysayers, a lot of those people trying to exclude you are going to see some real utility behind your visit there. Who knows why they decide to start these things, but each time they start them and then you show up and do what you do best, people were enlightened as a result of it. So thank you for doing that.
Charlie Kirk
Well, it's going to be fun. And I think some of these people that are getting very angry are gonna be very disappointed because I'm the same person on this program that I'm there on campus. And if you disagree, go to the front of the line and we're gonna have a good chat. It's AmericanContactOur.com Senator and Charlie, when you.
Senator Mike Lee
Show up, when, when you show up. Right. And have opposable thumbs, I think some of them are going to feel a little bit silly after the big to do they've made of that.
Charlie Kirk
No, that's exact. That's well said and thank you, Senator. Senator, I want to shift gears here to President Trump's Truth social. He said Monday's court order in Utah is absolutely unconstitutional. How did such a wonderful Republican state like Utah, which I won every election, end up with so many radical left judges? Senator, what is going on here? Please take some time and go into some detail and explain what's happening in the great state of Utah. Yeah.
Senator Mike Lee
So Utah's electoral system is under attack by Democrats and including their leftist allies in the Utah courts. About seven years ago, there was an effort through which Utah voters passed a law through a ballot initiative, creating a legislative redistricting commission. Now, in the years that followed, the Utah legislature subsequently amended that law, which it has the power to do under the Utah constitution. In other words, you can make a law either through the legislature or through a ballot initiative. The power somewhat rarely used, but when it is used, it runs on a parallel track with laws made by the legislature. And so the legislature can subsequently amend or even repeal a law that was previously made under our state constitution through a ballot initiative. But Utah courts are now invalidating the legislature's amendments to that earlier ballot initiative and to Utah's existing congressional district maps, even though nothing in the Utah constitution compels or even allows that result. And even though one provision in particular, Article 9 of the Utah Constitution, actually requires legislative districts, including congressional districts, to be drawn by the legislature, not by some nameless, faceless commission consisting of people who, as well educated and well intentioned as they might be, have never been elected by anybody and don't serve accountable to the voters of Utah. So it now appears that Utah is likely to be bound by a process involving congressional district maps being drawn not by the legislature, but by this outside commission. And although the legislature still has final authority to approve any such maps under the court order that came out last week, that maps one way or another have to be more or less drawn by the commission, even though that constitution belongs to the legislature. Look, this is great for Utah's Democrats who haven't controlled the Utah legislature in many, many decades. Not because Utah voters are ignorant, but because they don't like what the Democratic Party is selling and haven't for decades. That's why we have Republican super majority margins in the Utah House and in the Senate and why we've controlled the governor's office for decades. But now with this, they found a clever way to even the score by enlisting the help of their judicial allies. Look, this is a terrible development for the rule of law for voters in Utah who deserve to have these decisions made in a manner consistent with the U.S. constitution and the Utah Constitution.
Charlie Kirk
Now.
Senator Mike Lee
And make no mistake, this, this decision, while being heralded by the left because they like it, because it's a victory, is there cheap points they're scoring. This will make the process of drawing legislative districts in Utah less accountable to the voters, not more. Because that's what happens when you take that constitutional responsibility away from elected lawmakers and you give it to someone else. It'll also result in maps that are far more generous to Democrats. And I think that's the whole point, is that they hope to pick up at least one seat, maybe two, for Democrats in Utah as a result of this. So it's kind of a judicial takeover of the political process, one that's designed by leftists to advance the electoral prospects of the Democratic Party in Utah. And it's yet another example of how these independent commissions are so often used by the left to give an unfair, unearned advantage to Democrats in red states, one that they could never otherwise secure through the electoral process.
Charlie Kirk
So this is a part of a broader redistricting fight in California and Texas. Let me ask this. Why is Utah seemingly having this Democrat appeasing moderate streak? Let's just talk more broadly about Utah. You're a constitutional conservative, Senator Lee, and one of the best, if not the best, in the nation. And you have an amazing track record and you're so good to your constituents and you represent your voters. Why is it that in Utah, which is supposed to be this solidly red state, why give any ground at all whatsoever? What are the influences that are seeping into Utah that seem to be changing.
Senator Mike Lee
The politic there, perhaps first and foremost, I think we've gotten a little complacent with the fact that we've had these Republican majorities in both houses of our legislature and the governor's office and so many of our other prominent elected positions in the state, and the fact that we've had those under the Republican banner for as many decades as we have has perhaps caused many in the state to not be aware of what's going on. Because you have to dig into some of these details to see what's going on. When something like this happens, then you add to that. Charlie, what happens in a state like mine, a Republican state, consistently Republican state, that has no conservative media to speak of it. You know, we've got a, a handful here or there. We've got a, a handful of great people on the radio, for example. But as far as our print media and our mainstream broadcast media, TV and radio within the state, we have no significant large scale conservative or even right of center media within Utah. It's a pretty mismatched state in terms of the political views of the constituency, the citizenry of Utah and the disparity between that and the news media establishment. That doesn't help. But, but here again, just with the apathy problem or the lack of awareness problem, the more people talk about this, more we can draw attention to it, I think we can remedy some of that defect. And I think what you're doing with your visit to Utah next week, which I applaud, helps to shed light on these things and helps to raise awareness of what's actually happening.
Charlie Kirk
Senator, in closing here, about a minute remaining, I want you to comment on the CDC situation. Senate Republicans express alarm over CDC directors firing. Can't imagine that you share that view, but if you do, I'd love to hear, because I trust your opinion. What is your opinion? What's happening at the CDC right now?
Senator Mike Lee
Look, my copy of the Constitution says that the executive power of the US Government is vested in the President. Now, for that to mean anything, for the Constitution to hold up, for the separation of powers generally to be respected, including the element of separation of powers that's found within Article 2, which governs the executive branch and the President. For those things to mean anything, the president, as the head of the executive branch necessarily must have the authority to hire and fire subordinates. Now, some of those subordinate officers require Senate confirmation when he hires them, but there's no comparable restriction on congressional authorization to fire them, nor should there be. Now, by statute we have Congress has over time Unwisely, and I believe unconstitutionally limited the president's firing authority to these four. Cause, circumstances, or through career civil servant protection or otherwise. And that's wrong. The executive power is lodged in the President. It needs to stay there. And if CDC director or HHS bureaucrat. Senator Mike for the President. They have to be held accountable by the President.
Charlie Kirk
Thank you so much, Senator Lee. See you soon. Be right back.

What can I do to save the country? You answer that question every single day. You are doing something that is bigger than you got a lot of people. How we doing? Heights History's waiting when I arrive Today is the dawn of a new and I'm about to shovel now they cannot hold me down when you win from your loss we came from the bottom and now we the bosses. We'll be right back. Oh, we still have a minute. Then we'll play the Amfest promo, too. Let's play cut 54. America Fest is the starting point for us to take America to Greater Heights in 2025. We have a team that is ready to change the world and bring America back to greatness. Experience the greatest celebration of America. Four days. Thousands of patriots, the loudest voices, the strongest leaders. Featuring Charlie Kirk, Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Jesse Watters, Greg Gutfeld, Grant Cardone, Rob Schneider, Matt Walsh, Michael Knowles, Glenn Beck, Riley Gaines, Todd Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley and more. December 18th 21st in Phoenix, Arizona. The movement meets here. You won't want to miss this. Register now@amfest.com okay, everybody, we heard the Bitcoin.com studio. That is the Bitcoin.com studio. So it's been, say, a week or two probably since we've covered the Epstein situation. We were covering a lot of other stories. And the media, they. They were waiting for this. You see, Congress, they brought in a lot of the Epstein victims, and it's undoubtedly terrible what Epstein did to the underage high school girls and groomed them and sexually abused them. They're bringing in all of these Epstein victims. Interestingly, one of them is a man. So I don't. That's breaking news, at least to me. I don't quite know all the details surrounding that. And the NBC News thought they have their moment. It is the media. They want nothing more than to be able to tie this to Donald Trump. They bring all of these Epstein victims one after the other after the other, and they have their big moment. The media is just waiting for a metaphorical kill shot on Donald Trump. Amazingly, all the questions they could ask, this is the one. But in some ways, I'm kind of glad they asked it. In kind of a sick and twisted way, I'm glad they did. I'm glad they were able to air it out because this was a swing and a miss and a media loss right here. And this kind of goes to show that there's a lot of misinformation and half truths that are circulating around this entire thing, especially in the proximity of President Trump. Especially so. President Donald Trump has been thrown in to all of this unnecessarily. So here it is, NBC News, ready to go try to get Donald Trump. We got him dead to rights. We got the panel. We got them all lined up. This is gonna be it. The NBC producers, they're waiting. And they're waiting. We're gonna have our moment. We're gonna play cut 400.
I do have to ask, and I.
Know, and it's just something that I think we're compelled to at this moment.
With the attention on President Trump with these questions around a pard.
Anybody see or hear of the president.
Himself doing anything inappropriate as it related to Jeffrey Epstein?
No. No, no. The answer is no. No. President Donald Trump was not involved in any of that stuff, Period. Hard stop. So anticlimact. This is cut 401. This is another one of the Epstein victims. Several of us, as a team of survivors, have been discussing creating our own list of names. We know the names. Many of us were abused by them. And now together as survivors, will confidentially compile the names. Play cut 401.
Several of us Epstein survivors have been discussing creating our own list of names. We know the names. Many of us were abused by them. Now together as survivors, we will confidentially compile the names. We all know were regularly in the Epstein world and it will be done by survivors and for survivors, no one else is involved.
So there is ongoing reporting, though. This is why you got to be very careful with this stuff. Everybody. You saw this with the Jerry Sandusky case in Penn State. You got to be very, very careful with situations like this because you get a lot. You can get a bandwagon effect where a lot of people use half truths to be able to get money from a guy that obviously had a lot of assets. So you got to, you got to have a lot. You got to pursue evidence. But you saw right there with the other previous clip, I just got to replay this anticlimactic one. You got to see this big wind up from NBC. We got to replay cut 400. Replay cut 400.
I do have to ask and I know.
And it's just something that I think we're compelled to at this moment with.
The attention on President Trump with these questions around a pardon.
Did anybody see or hear of the.
President himself doing anything inappropriate as it.
Related to Jeffrey Epstein? No. I could watch that on repeat. That's the entire media narrative. Poof. By the way, if the answer was yes, we would have heard this years ago. If Biden would have been sitting on files that showed Donald Trump compromised with anything Epstein, they would have released this a long time ago. And I'm just gonna be honest with a lot of these movements that we see. We saw this with Sandusky, we saw this with others. And Michael Tracy on Twitter, quote, the British model and socialite who stayed in contact with Jeffrey Epstein into her 30s and who was ruled by a judge to have endured no illegal sexual activity, is currently speaking at the big Epstein press conference. So you get a lot of hanger ons, you get a lot of bandwagon effect. You get a lot of people in moments like this that are going to try to either get money or try to ruin somebody's character, and especially they'll try to ruin Donald Trump's character. And you saw an NBC, they can't even do that. You got to use discernment. You got to use prudence. So you got to stay very cautious. Remember the lessons of the MeToo movement. Remember Kavanaugh, Remember all of that due process facts first. Let's go a couple minutes over time to complete the point. Go to the break.
Terrence Bates
Welcome back to this real America's Voice news break. I'm Terence Bates. The IRS is confirming there are no plans to issue new stimulus payments this month. The only money you should expect from the feds is from tax returns that have already been filed if you haven't already gotten your refund. In the meantime, we're also learning that dog walkers and influencers are among the jobs that qualify for no tax on tips under President Trump's one big beautiful bill. There's a whole lot happening when it comes to the irs, and it's really tough for any of us to keep up with it all, especially if we owe the agency or are being audited. And that's where Tax Network USA can help. Cameron Kinsey joins me now to explain some of the things that Tax Network USA can help you with. Cameron, good to see you.
Charlie Kirk
Good to see you, Terrence. Thanks for having me on.
Terrence Bates
Always a pleasure. So talk about some of the common issues that people are bringing to you in Tax Network USA these days.
Charlie Kirk
Well, I think a lot of people will just shove these letters in the mail that they get from the irs. Maybe they're too confused or too fearful on acting on it. And that's really where Tax Network USA comes and steps in. We're a professional tax team. We have CPAs, licensed attorneys, even former IRS agents who really just know the tax code inside and out. We don't expect the average American to. And so we're in your corner every single step of the way. We basically act as a liaison, Terrence, between you and the irs, so you can enjoy a family meal with your wife, with your kids, with your loved ones without having to deal with that burden on your shoulders. And we also negotiate directly with the IRS as well and understand just how to protect people from the aggressive enforcement that we've seen in the past.
Terrence Bates
One of the great things I find about Tax Network USA is that you can get at least a free consult, if you will, just to start the process. It really doesn't cost you anything. You can get information and then decide how to move forward.
Charlie Kirk
Exactly, Terrence. You can just call 1-800-905-8000. You can talk to one of our agents. It's completely free. We kind of just go over what you're dealing with step by step, and then it's just up to you if you want to proceed or not. Or you can go to tnusa.com rav you can fill out a quick form, and then one of our team members will be in touch with you. But you'll get a team who knows exactly how to keep the IRS off your back, keep your finances protected in this process. But again, Terrence, it really only works if the person is proactive about it. You don't want to wait until it's an emergency. So it's good to get ahead of it.
Terrence Bates
And being proactive doesn't just apply to people who are taxpayers, but also to businesses.
Charlie Kirk
Yes, we. We use every single tool in the shed when it comes to businesses, small businesses specifically. We negotiate payment plans, penalty relief, sometimes even settlements to reduce what you owe. But timing does matter. The longer you wait, I do say, the fewer options that you may have because you know those penalties can stack up over time. But we obviously know that small businesses and businesses in general are the economic engine of this country. And our job is just to make sure that the IRS doesn't crush your. Your business with bureaucratic overreach again. It has lightened up with President Trump's administration, as we've seen, but the IRS is obviously utilizing every single tool in the shed to put pressure on the average American.
Terrence Bates
We often hear that the IRS is backlogged, and so it can take a little while. How long does it typically take to get a resolution of people's issues there through Tax Network usa? Are you able to speed the process, I guess is the better question.
Charlie Kirk
Yes, we. We're very proactive from the start, from the initial comfort consultation process. I guess it just depends on the complexity of your case. We offer various services, like offers and compromise that can take a different amount of time than installment agreements, penalty abatements, innocent spouse relief. I guess it's just depending on the complexity of your case, Terrence.
Terrence Bates
But the cost of admission is you guys will deal with the irs. It's not something that we, the taxpayer, have to do.
Charlie Kirk
Exactly. We leverage every single legal tool available just to ensure that our clients aren't unfairly targeted or overwhelmed by the IRS actions. Like I noted, probably the people watching, or some people, at least they've gotten those letters in the mail. They don't know how to deal with them. They've seen the intimidation tactics from the IRS and they try to ignore the problem until the problem gets too big. That's what we see a lot with Tax Network usa. But it's important to know that there are people that can be in your corner every single step of the way dealing with them so you don't have to. This process basically for us, is just to give you peace of mind. We know that this is not easy dealing with the irs. Everybody has to deal with it. Some problems may be bigger than others, but it is important to have somebody on your side. And we're all on the same team here. We don't want to see any more government overreach.
Terrence Bates
Thanks so much, Kim.
Charlie Kirk
Foreign okay, everybody, welcome back. Email us, as always, freedom charliekirk.com and subscribe to our podcast. That's the Charlie Kirk show podcast page. We're here@the Bitcoin.com studio. That is the Bitcoin.com studio. Joining us now is Alex Marlowe, editor in chief of Breitbart News. That is Breitbart.com Alex, I want to start with a story yesterday which I love and it was not getting enough coverage. We can go the B roll. President Donald Trump has been very clear that he wants to, he wants to shrink the map and focus on hemispheric dominance. He was trying to end wars abroad and really focus on our own hemisphere being abused yesterday. This is the MAGA doctrine, otherwise known as the Monroe Doctrine 2.0. President Donald Trump authorized a military strike yesterday of drug runners and drug traffickers of trend Aragua that were bringing life ending drugs to the United States. You can kind of see here in a speedboat. They're in international waters. I don't know all the legal technicalities here. Obviously it passed the muster because they authorized it and they, they did a drone strike in the Caribbean. Alex, what are your thoughts here? I'm at least thrilled finally, that we're using military force in our own hemisphere against people that would have done harm against the American homeland. They actually are a much greater threat. What you are seeing on screen are a much greater threat than Vladimir Putin.
Alex Marlowe
Those absolutely right about that, Charlie.
Charlie Kirk
And Russian soldiers.
Alex Marlowe
Alex MARLOWE yeah, you're absolutely right about this, Charlie. And this is just perfect in terms of Trump national security doctrine focusing on our hemisphere first, which I will tell you our national security editor, Breitbart News, Frances Martell, she's a Latin American woman. And I'll tell you, this hits such close to home with people who've survived, of ancestry, who survived communism in our hemisphere and have seen Democrat after Democrat and establishment Republican after establishment Republican in this country, focus on Europe, focus on the Middle east and not remember our own hemisphere. Now, we're all aware of the threat of Far east in China, but China's has an encrosion that's taking place into that exact hemisphere, into Central and South America. And so I look at all of this as countering China, but let's be specific about fentanyl and drugs and these gangs that are taking advantage of our open border and have created these industries that bring devastating drugs, the type of stuff that not Just ruin lives, but ruin families, ruin communities. They come up into our country and we've allowed it, we've tolerated it. And Trump comes in one fell swoop, wipes out a bunch of them, sends an unbelievable signal that if you try to bring this poison into America, you're going to face deadly consequences. It is just peak Trump, and I love it.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah. And let's talk more about that, though, because it's. For so long, we've been worrying about the Taliban, the hills of Afghanistan, the plains of Iraq, and I mean, what is the philosophical recalibration here, Alex? The, the profundity here? Like, no, actually show me some threats here. And, yeah, you notice there hasn't been a lot of pushback on this from the Democrats. There's been a little bit, but deep down, they know that this is a completely defensible military action. Right. It's drug trafficking. Caribbean. Nothing good that was happening here. Alex Marlowe.
Alex Marlowe
Yeah, but unfortunately for the left, they still have a few people on Bluey, the Bluey app, and on X, the Everything app, where they do tweet out that this was illegal somehow, because, remember, anything Trump does must be illegal. And that's just great, because then we get a new cycle of getting to dunk on them. So I love that, too, because inevitably, someone is going to say taking out illegal alien gang members or trend gang members who are trying to work with cartels to get illegal and illicit fentanyl into our country to kill Americans, that that somehow is illegal for the president to deal with them. No, it's great. It's wonderful. And it's just a reminder that President Trump and Secretary say Rubio has done a good job of this. Keeping an eye on our own hemisphere is a big global reset that we've not seen from any other American politician and is very effective.
Charlie Kirk
You know, you have to wonder, is there going to be a judge soon that's going to require Trump to undo the strike of the 11 people that were killed? And again, it's. By the way, another court is blocking the deportation of Trende Aragua members after we just destroyed 11. I'm all for this and the deterrence of this. Imagine if you are right now a drug trafficker that is planning to go bring in drugs tonight. You're like, man, I don't know if I want to do that. My hombres just got blown up by something in the sky. It is a massive deterrent against future drug trafficking, Alex.
Alex Marlowe
Yeah, of course it is. And it's a signal to China that they Got to knock it off. And again, all roads lead to China. With Trump's foreign policy, remember, they got belt and road, they're expanding into South America, that they're trying to dominate trade by cutting deals with Brazil, Chile, Peru, and they're trying to dominate a lithium extraction in Bolivia. All of this is protecting us. So you can just choose your whatever you think is the biggest geopolitical threat. And this should fit into that narrative. And that's why the left is going to have to hold their nose on this one, because they know this is a good thing ultimately in the end. But he's protecting Americans and he's doing with surprise devastating strikes, which does Charlie, to your point, said in a signal to the rest of the world that if you mess with America, there's a new sheriff in town. And that's exactly what we need.
Charlie Kirk
Shifting gears here first, I just to Repeat this, though, a 2:1 decision US appeals court has blocked the Trump administration from deporting Venezuelan Trende Aragua members using the Alien Enemies Act. These court stories don't get as much play as they did because we know they'll get appealed and overturned. But this is just yet another example. The trend members are pumping drugs into our country and the court says that we are not allowed to deport them. So just another little item there, Alex, what is your thought on the H1B discussion? We learned the other day that 75% of all, all H1B visas just came from India. There is a lot of uproar here about the amount of H1B workers. That's 400,000 a year. Meanwhile, they are bragging about how they're taking American jobs and how Americans have to train their replacements. What are your thoughts here, Alex Marlowe?
Alex Marlowe
Yeah, and first of all, quickly, on the court ruling that this is exactly why I wrote Breaking the Law, which you've been so kind to promote over and over again, Charlie, is that this is not going to stop until there's massive reform and there will be reforms. But it's why we need to remain engaged and vigilant, because this is their new resistance. This is so much more effective than anything that you're going to see on MSNBC or any sort of Hollywood grassroots stuff like the last Trump administration. None of that's working at all. This is the only thing the Democrats are incompetent. Jasmine Crockett is nothing like this. These courts are blocking Trump and they're all acting as if they're presidents of the United States holding up the executive agenda. It's an outrage and it's a big deal. But to your big point, which I'm deeply passionate about, H1BS I've been thinking about this in a very specific context with these Indian families and I do not have. I'm try. I don't want to personalize this, make this some sort of a race thing, because it's not. Here is the point. Americans are here. We pay exorbitantly into the system. Our parents pay into the system. Our grandparents pay into the system. My mother in law was a daughter of the American Revolution. It's countless generations of people and we all pay in. We have reached down, we, we work through all of the nonsense. I live out in California, the tax rate is insane. We all go into deep debt on student loans. And then our children eventually come out and they want to get a job. And we look at the visa system and these companies see that there's an Indian somewhere who's also trained, who was willing to do the job for 15% less. And all of that history is just thrown out. The people who have put their roots down, the people who regardless of their homeland, their nation, their people are here and we just import people because they're willing to work for 15% less to raise the stock of Microsoft by half a percent. That's ridiculous. It should be unacceptable. It should be illegal, to be frank with you, and should be severely limited to extreme, to extreme overachievers who are willing to put down roots in America. That's the limits of immigration right now, in my view.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah. And so what is the major driving force here? Is it corporations? And why is it that the nation of India is so okay with this? Why do they want to keep on exporting some of their best and brightest? What do they get in return from this?
Alex Marlowe
Well, I think they have a lot of population and I do think that they are having a relationship with America where we're somewhat dependent on them, I think is probably an advantage for them politically. And I do think that there's a lot of money that's also sent back via remittances as well. So I see this as a, probably overall a net positive for them. I just find it deeply disturbing that we never frame up this conversation, Charlie, in a way that thinks about American families and the history of American families that have been here and have been dealing with our system. And our system is expensive. And our system in this country, with the amount of taxes that we pay with the cost of living, the student loan grift that you've written about better than anyone. All of this should go into the fact that why American families think that you should be able to get 15% more for these jobs. And of course, it's driven by these CEOs, by these corporations. And this is the corporatization of America continues to have a lot of really negative side effects.

The great Alex Marla is with us. Editor in Chief of Breitbart News Breitbart.com Super Smart Analysis as always. This is a an incredible, this is a remarkable story. President Donald Trump is contemplating going to Chicago after the proven DC takeover model which is working. This is a local news station that's reporting in Chicago a repeat offender who had multiple arrests due to violence. This is just, this is what happens in Chicago. This is Brandon Johnson and J.B. pritzker, Chicago play cut365.
Reporter
According to online records, Livingston's history of random acts of violence against women goes back eight years. In 2017, he was accused accused of randomly attacking two women months apart.
Charlie Kirk
Alex Marlowe, that's just one example of many. He keeps on assaulting women, but the left keeps on letting him out because of cashless bail. Alex Marlowe, what is your analysis now of what's happening in D.C. it looks to be a phenomenal success. And is it time to scale?
Alex Marlowe
Hey, you don't have to take my, my word for it. Take the mayor's word for it. The mayor's on board. And additional members of D.C. city Council. Yeah, they're on board. So of course it's going to work. The question is, can Trump legally expand this because of home rule policies that Trump has I think leveraged effectively because all these cities need him. And it is a terrific use of our resources to try to restore law and order. I think that we're heading towards a law and order election. As of now, we're far, far away off from it. But I do think this will be the number one issue in forthcoming elections. And the culture in Chicago has just been total lawlessness again. In Breaking the Law, I wrote about Kim Fox, another Soros funded operative who was the DA there for a very long time and her letting out 25,000 felony cases. She refused to charge gang members in a veterans murder. She this was, she was on the side of Juicy Smoulier, the hate crime hoaxer and kind of laughed when he eventually got away with it. She gloated, acknowledging that he was probably guilty even though he ended up getting away with it in the end. That's the culture about crime in Chicago. And JB Pritzker acts like there's nothing we can do about it. Well, Trump could prove him wrong in a second. And I think that it is. If Trump can do it, he should do it because it'll clean up a iconic American city and it'll make Trump look great in the process.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah. And I just again, the success of D.C. is remarkable. Let's just don't take again my word for it. Let's play cut to 81 crime.
Terrence Bates
Here's why Democrat cities are plagued by violence. Should consider getting on board. If you look here at Washington D.C. at a two week period this year compared to last year, property crime is down 20%. But the biggest thing are all of the violent crimes, often including robbery, which is down 60%. Homicides are down 71% from last year over this exact same period of time. Assaults with a dangerous weapon down 10%.
Charlie Kirk
Yet if you listen to Democrats, they.
Terrence Bates
Don'T care about those statistics.
Charlie Kirk
Alex, you say that you think we might be heading towards a law and order election. It's about time. We do not have enough prisoners in America. We don't have enough arrests of people. I pulled this yesterday. This is an amazing, amazing statistic. So the Nash. This is one of my favorite stats that's never talked about. It's called the national clearance rate. The clearance rate is what percentage of murders get solved. Pretty simple, right? So in 1965, what if I told you 92% of all murders got solved. Now the clearance rates now 50%. What has changed in the last 60 years where we now have a 40 point decrease in the national clearance rate, that means 40% more murderers are just walking free. Alex Marlowe, one minute remaining.
Alex Marlowe
Yeah, that's exactly the point that I think that we can take advantage of and try start using to try to clean up this country is that the left has intentionally protected criminals. They think the law, they think the shoplifter vote and apparently the murderer vote is just very powerful within their base. And they pander that group of people for some reason and they came up with some temporary hack where their crime stats can go down if they simply don't pursue crimes, if they don't prosecute whatever, they can avoid prosecuting and then it clears their roles but it ends up just making the cities more lawless and it means that we don't get justice for people who deserve it. So this is a easy lane for, for conservatives to step up and say that we're going to be the ones who restore law and order in this society. The left hates law and order because they prefer chaos. That's the whole George Soros model. And we have a huge opportunity here and Trump is sees that clearly and now it's time to encourage him to keep going.

Terrence Bates here with your real America's Voice. News break. President Trump gearing up for a battle. The war of words between him and Illinois Governor J.D. pritzker already underway following the president's announcement on Tuesday that he's prepared to order federal authorities to move into Chicago and Baltimore.
Donald Trump
Chicago is a hellhole right now. Baltimore is a hellhole right now. I would love to have him call. I would love the governor of Illinois. I'd be honored to take his call. All he has to do is say, sir, we need help. It's out of control and everyone knows it is. He's not kidding anyone.
Charlie Kirk
No, I will not call the president asking him to send troops to Chicago. I've made that clear already. None of this is about fighting crime or making Chicago safer. None of it. For Trump, it's about testing his power and producing a political drama to cover up for his corruption.

We're actually going to be chatting tonight as well at Dream City Church at our free Tonight in America. But this is a little bit of a teaser and an appetizer. It's Nathan Finocchio. Nathan is the founder of Theos U and Theo Seminary, author of Hearing God and Killer Church. Nathan, welcome to the program. Nathan is without a doubt one of the smartest and most important theological thinkers of this generation. Nathan, welcome to the program.
Nathan Finocchio
Hey, it's good to be on the show of the guy that was on South Park.
Charlie Kirk
You're gilded for eternity.
Nathan Finocchio
You've been knighted, sir. Sir Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk
Well, thank you. And you're sitting in my chair as I'm location unknown. Nathan, there's so much happening here. Why don't you take a moment, just introduce yourself, your work, your scholarship. You are a deep thinker and you should be taken very seriously. When you say something, I listen. And I mean that. So please, Nathan, take a moment to introduce yourself and your line of work, please.
Nathan Finocchio
Yeah, yeah. So this is what a theologian looks like. And I apologize for letting you down. But you know, I love God, I love the church, and I think that the church in America and across the world is doing better than we think, first and foremost. But secondly needs a lot of work. I believe that Jesus is coming back for a glorious bride. And she's not there yet, but she's on the treadmill and she's doing keto. And so that's sort of my line of work is just helping Christians think and helping churches think about the big picture. So that's kind of what I do. Theos U and Theos Seminary are how we train Christians to think about things and think about politics, think about the church and society, think about. I mean, there's everything. People have been saying that, that Christians are getting more political, but it's like, no, politics are getting a lot more theological. And so we need people, particularly Christians, namely Christians to think theologically about politics, et cetera. So we're not like a political organization by any means, but just de facto if you're theological, you're now political. So that's kind of what we do.
Charlie Kirk
I want to just focus on something you just said. Politics is becoming more theological what do you mean by that?
Nathan Finocchio
Well, yeah, I mean, every bit of legislation is moral. Every single time that a decision is made, it's moral. And where do morals come from? So they come from somebody's morality. So whose morality is the legislature ascribed to and prescribing for the populace? So, yeah, debates about sexuality and gender and even nationalism and borders and crime. These are theological issues, and they're profoundly theological. I follow a black pastor named Jamal Bryant on Instagram who is like a devout Democrat, and he believes he would say the exact same thing that politics are. They're theological because they have to do with people. And if you're speaking about people, people are moral beings. And every policy affects somebody's life in a certain way. So that's what I mean by that.
Charlie Kirk
So what then? Should. How should the church act and operate in the political arena? Should the church care about politics? Should the church care about culture? What do you have to say to pastors that say, I don't get involved in that stuff. I don't get involved in politics. I don't get involved in the moral fights. I don't get involved in the cultural fights. I just do the gospel. What would your response to them be?
Nathan Finocchio
Yeah, so my response would be that. But if your business is people and policy is always about people, then inadvertently your business is about policy, and you should absolutely be concerned about policy. And I don't think that necessarily Christians need to get up and endorse candidates. Like specifically pastors need to endorse candidates. I think that pastors just need to talk about. They need to talk about things as they come up. You know, in. People often ask me, nate, what should I preach on? And I just say, scroll, TikTok doom, scroll for an hour, and you will find something to preach on.
Charlie Kirk
Great point.
Nathan Finocchio
It's the easiest way to write a sermon is to see where your congregation is sitting and what they're going through and then just write and help them and, like, apply God's word to the. That things, the questions that people are asking, you know, both individually and corporately. So, yeah, so I don't think that there's any way that you can sidestep anymore as a pastor or as a church leader. And once again, I'm not talking about endorsing candidates, but we have to address culture and where things are at dead on. Because if a pastor isn't doing it, somebody else is doing it. The bottom line is that your congregation is being trained politically, you know, through policy and theologically. And if you're going to abdicate the throne of that, then don't be surprised when people start believing stupid things and behaving in insane ways.
Charlie Kirk
And so. But why is it that the church has abdicated its role? Why is it that the church doesn't engage? The church is silent and the church is afraid. Where did we go wrong? Was there a moment in time? Was there a teaching? Was there a trend? Was there a creed? Was there a fad? Because the church was not like this 40, 50 years ago. But the church is largely silent on what happens outside of its walls. The church is not fighting for life. The church is not fighting against transgenderism. The church is not fighting for the stuff that matters. So where did we go wrong?
Nathan Finocchio
The seeker sensitive movement is the worst thing that ever happened to the American church in 70 years. It's destroyed it. That's where we went wrong. So what kind of happened was you had a philosophy that, well, you know, the cat's out of the bag, people are going to be immoral. Christians no longer have a seat in public life. And so rather than trying to assert ourselves in public life, we're just going to make everybody a Christian. And if we can make everybody a Christian, that's how we can change the nation. So Christians went after the church is designed. So it's a misunderstanding of how the church is designed. The church is designed, A to worship God, B, to equip the saints, and C, to reach the world in that order. And seekers reverse the order they go. The church is designed to reach people and then to equip people and then to worship God. And so when you get the design wrong, you get the church wrong immediately. We went, when you become a secret church and a secret church is a church that's after reaching people. And there's nothing wrong with reaching people. But you have to have the order right and you have to. The order matters. Because if you make everything like for example, my dad's generation, when my dad like in the 70s, for them, it's like, how do we get God to church? That's the question that they asked. Now people, the question that many churches ask, particularly many evangelicals, is how do we get people to church? And so, you know, you're fishing for people. That's where all the people pleasing starts. That's where, oh, don't talk about this. You know, you're walking on eggshells constantly because you're worried about offending people because your whole mission is bringing people to church. And so that's what I believe went wrong, is we became Seeker, rather seeker friendly rather than God friendly. And so when you're trying to please people, everything's always going to go sideways. And that's part of the reason why we become so effeminate in our teaching, in our theology and our philosophy. Because the whole shtick in evangelicalism is trying to reach people who ultimately don't care. Like, as James McDonald once said, you're just trying to fill your church with tares. And so what we have to do, and I believe that this is one of the reasons why Pentecostalism is growing like wildfire all over the world, is because we have to get back to caring about God. Like, how do we get God to church? You know, by preaching the right thing, by worshiping correctly. And the result will be that people will notice the difference and they'll want to come. So it's sort of revival, counterintuitively or paradoxically.
Charlie Kirk
Bringing God to church, not just people to church. It's beautifully said. You and I have exchanged some text messages on the growing threat of Islam. We only have 2 minutes remaining in this segment, but I want to explore this with you. How should we think about Islam as Christians? Is this a threat? Is this a problem? Or is this kind of just, you know, not something that we shouldn't waste our time with?
Nathan Finocchio
Yeah, so great question. Yeah. So first and foremost, you should read the church fathers. Read the first 1500 years of church history and thinkers and pastors on Islam, like, how did they think about it? So that would be my first. Go educate yourself on how the church fathers, the patristics, thought about Islam, number one. Because what you're going to discover is that they're a lot more unkind, a lot more militant. They're closer to Christopher Hitchens than they would be to many of our modern leaders, number two. I would say that. But I think that we were really naive a couple hundred years ago about what religion was. And I don't believe that the founders had Islam in mind when they were thinking about freedom of religion. Particularly when you're thinking of them coming out of the European context and the Protestant Reformation. And if you weren't an Anglican and you were living in England, that was going to be problems. I think that they were thinking, yeah, we're all Christians here, we're all Europeans here. You worship Jesus the way you see fit, I'll worship Jesus the way I see fit. I think that we have been extremely naive. For example, you have Richard Dawkins about a year ago. Any smart atheist like Richard Dawkins would say that they don't want to live really in a society where Islam has any type of political power whatsoever. They want to live in a Christian society. And so the long and the short of it for me is that you can't just say naively, Islam is a religion. And that's the end of you have to understand that Islam is a political ideology and that is exactly what they want. So I don't know if I would classify it as a mere religion. And then that's where we get into the thick of things.
Charlie Kirk
Well, I want to take that up. Pick that up in just a second. Nathan Finocchio. We're going to be talking tonight at Dream City Church at Freedom Mountain America. The home, homeschool kids, they're going to be the ones that are going to be run in society. My money's on the homeschool kids, more so than anybody else. God bless you. Stay strong. Thank you. That is patriotmobile.com Charlie so Nathan, how then should we treat the importation of Islam into the West? How should the church react? How should we as Christians act and react to this rising menace that is Islam?
Nathan Finocchio
Yes. So I think that we need to, there needs to be a radical re evaluation of how we characterize and understand Islam. Like we have to. It's naive to just, once again, it's just naive to call it a religion and it just ends there. It's not. It's a religion with a political ideology. It has been from the very start. And you have to ask yourself, is this political ideology that comes like inherent in the religion, is it compatible with Western civilization and Christopher Hitchens and many other very wise atheists and anybody I think with a brain in their heads would recognize that it is absolutely not compatible. In no way is it compatible. It's funny to me, bro, because people complain about Christian nationalism and they use this term as a bludgeon to try to make people who are Christians not vote their conscience or not vote along.
Senator Mike Lee
The things that they believe.
Nathan Finocchio
Everybody else can believe anything that they want. But as soon as you're a Christian, then you're a Christian nationalist and you're a problem, right? And you want to live like, trust me, you want to live in a Christian nationalist society. Richard Dawkins wants to live in a Christian, like England is a Christian nation. It is like the queen is or the king now is head of the Anglican Church, like the English church. So you want that, like that's what you want Because Christian societies, believe it or not, are tolerant societies. Like, that's what they are. They're tolerant of religions. As long as those religions are, that's what they are. They're religions. And they don't, you know, get into these militant political ideologies. There's not jihadism attached to them. And we're playing a very big joke on us. I mean, we're watching it happen in England right now, like the grooming gangs in Birmingham. And like the English just brushed it under the rug. And brushed it under the rug. They're conservative governments. Brushed it under the rug. Just continued to.
Donald Trump
No, no, no.
Nathan Finocchio
You know, multiculturalism. And every religion is fair. It's not. They're not. They're not the same thing. Muslims are not interested in the same thing. They want power. They want political power. They're taking political power. And if you think that Christians are restrictive, if you think that Christians, you know, are intolerant, you have another thing coming. You are naive if you don't understand exactly what Islam is. It's more than a religion.
Charlie Kirk
I completely and totally agree. And so last point, and we'll pick this up tonight, Nathan, at Dream City Church, Freedom Night in America. This totally shifting gears. Is there revival happening in America? If so, what can we do to accelerate it? One minute remaining.
Nathan Finocchio
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. There is revival happening in America. It's happening. There's churches. Churches all over America are growing. Churches that prioritize the word of God in the presence of God. Those churches are blowing up. I travel nonstop. That's what I do for a living. I speak at churches. And the churches that I go to are blowing up. Like, the church is not shrinking. People are becoming more religious worldwide and in America. So spirituality is on the uptick. And the formula is like, it's not a deconstructioned, unrecognizable spirituality. It is a strong biblical spirituality that is rooted in the ancient church, and that's his. I do believe, like, I would agree with the evangelicals that, yes, the church is the answer. Jesus is the answer for America. He always will be. It's not a president. It's Jesus Christ. But the church has to be a church that is the covenant community shaped by the covenant. It can't be a church that's trying to build with their own strategy. They have to build according to the blueprint shown to us. And that blueprint is scripture. So any church that is adhering to scripture and is engaging culture the way that the church has for 2,000 years, those churches are growing so we are in revival and we're going to continue to see churches like that explode and take ground.
Charlie Kirk
Nathan, I'll see you tonight. Dream City Church, Freedom Night in America. Thank you so much. Author of Killer Church and Hearing God. Well done, Nathan. See you tonight. Email us freedom charliekirk.com, see you tonight.
