Well, the intensity around the coming midterm elections is building and the primaries are in full swing this week. All eyes locked in on California. The primary drew amazing national attention. The one party Democratic rule there has wrecked the Golden State. Republican challenger Steve Hilton sent a message on saving California. It resonated. It looks like he's going to be in the mix and in the runoff this fall for governor. We'll see what happens when all the, quote, mail in ballots finish up. What's amazing, if you look across the country, Dems have put together some pretty radical suspect candidates. Graham Platner from Maine, he has some serious issues and social media isn't letting him just, quote, get away with it. Nazi type tattoo on his chest for what, some 18 years. Accused of serious sexual misconduct. When asked about him, Chuck Schumer looked the other way, wouldn't condemn any of his behavior. His mantra was simply beat Susan Collins. In other words, the end justifies the mean. John Fetterman, Pennsylvania, the only one who was willing on the Dem side to raise concerns with him. And radical Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico continues to be in the news. A pastor supporting abortion, gender ideology that hurts kids, open borders that threaten and endanger Americans, policies that put violent offenders back on the streets saying God's binary, that God's not Christian. It's just wild. This insane rhetoric is hard to believe and they're pushing it all couched around his faith. And we're supposed to believe this is Christianity. Many are saying this is one of the most consequential Senate races in Texas history. Faith leaders have to get involved. And this is June seeing a lot of Pride Month pushback. While Sesame street and other organizations are pushing happy quote, Pride Month on our children, celebrating and uplifting the LGBTQIA agenda, the American people are tiring of it all. Organizations are pushing back. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed a resolution declaring June as Nuclear Family Month instead of Pride Month. And Governor Kevin Stiddad, Oklahoma says God authors every life. Oklahoma is proud to declare June as Life Month. He went on to say, we are committed to walking alongside every mother and ensuring the unborn are protected from conception to birth. While the ceasefire between the United States and Iran is still holding a little bit of back and forth stuff. But as negotiations continue between both sides behind closed doors, President Trump is holding firm Continue to pray for him and pray for a complete resolve. And America continues her full court press toward America 250 celebrations. Make plans to attend if you can. Great verses from the Bible to hold onto this week. A lot going on here. We are in the Midst of America. 250. We're celebrating 250 years of our country. We're not perfect, but I'll tell you what, going to be some awesome celebrations and good things are happening, Ralph, exciting things. But we're also in the midst of it. Social media is blowing up all over the place because the midterms are coming up in November and the primaries are happening right now. Ralph, a little update from you and your headquarters on what's happening.

Well, the midterms are upon us, Tim, and you see it in these really heated primaries going on all over the country this past week. California, where Steve Hilton actually led, at least initially. And I think that that's going to be a real governor's race. I think Spencer Pratt is going to make a real run at the LA mayoralty. And I think if you look at the way things are unfolding, Iowa had its primaries last week. Texas was the week before. People are economically anxious. Prices are still too high. There's a lot of economic anxiety out there. There's a lot of anger. And I think it's going to be a very fractious, hard fought, bitterly fought, an extremely close midterm election. I think the redistricting that is going on the latest this past week was the Supreme Court allowed a new map in Alabama to go through that will cost the Democrats another seat by the time this all settles out. Tim, it's hard to say yet because the courts haven't ruled, but we're probably looking at plus 12 to 15 above the current map for the Republicans. Will that be enough to hold the House? There's no way to know. But both of these chambers are on the line, and I mean, not by a little. It's going to be a jump ball in both chambers.

Many are saying that this Texas Senate race, Talarico and Paxton, could be one of the most consequential Senate races in Texas history. What's interesting about it, Ralph, is Tellarico is using his faith to defend and push a radical. We're talking crazy, I'm talking really radical agenda. The stuff he's saying out there, Ralph, like God is binary, not Christian. He's promoting, supporting abortion, gender ideology too, that hurts kids, open borders that threaten and endanger Americans, policies that put violent criminals back on the streets. And he's out there quoting scripture, doing all kinds of stuff. Ralph, we knew that they were going to start dabbling in this whole faith space because they've got to, quote, blow it up. You know that. Ralph, your take on it. You've been doing this for a long time, Ralph. I bet that it's got to shock even you a little bit. Ralph.

Yeah, I think we've certainly seen this movie before. They've tried to take a very left wing, anti marriage, anti family, anti life, anti Israel agenda, and they've tried to cloak it in a thin veneer of religiosity. And I, I don't think it works as long as we do our job. And you know, Talarico, you know, when I read the press accounts, Tim, I'm beginning to think that his middle name is Presbyterian seminarian, you know, and, and unfortunately for him, graduating from a liberal seminary just doesn't qualify you to go to the U. S. Senate. And, and claiming that, that God is not binary. When Jesus called him his father, and last time I checked, that's a male pronoun. So Jesus Christ said he was the father and, but, but he says he could be anything. And you probably know this, he has invoked the dialogue that took place between the angel Gabriel and the Virgin Mary as his justification for abortion on demand up to the moment of birth and after the birth. So it forms of infanticide paper with tax dollars. But in the end, Tim, this is not going to be about theology and it's not going to be about scripture. You know, it's going to be about the issues and he is arguably to the left of Beto o'. Rourke. But make no mistake about it, this is going to be a very expensive and hard fought Senate race on the level of Ted Cruz and Beto O' Rourke in 2018. That race, I think was 100 million on Beto's side and about 75 million on Cruise's side. So that was 175 million, what, six years ago. This one's going to be more. It'll be in the 250 to 300 million dollar range. And my organization, Faith and Freedom is going to go in there in a big way. We're planning on knocking on a minimum of a million doors. And as long as people know where Telorico really is on the issues, we're going to be fine.

Ralph, a lot of people just can't believe in Texas that this is going on. But believe it or not, I saw one report that said he was up three points on Paxton right now. I believe that, yeah, it's going to be, it is going to be a throwdown. Ralph, before you go, I wanted to ask you about what's happening up in Maine. Graham Platner, Unbelievable again, here we go. I mean, I just can't believe how radical the Dems are putting these kind of candidates forth. Chuck Schumer was asked about him, did he support him, whatever. And his mantra was we're just going to beat Susan Collins. But just in other words, turning and looking away. Ralph, your thoughts?

Yeah, I think both parties are undergoing a pretty dramatic evolution. And you know, we talked about Texas. I mean, Ken Paxton, admittedly endorsed by the President, defeated a four term incumbent senator who was conservative and who voted with Trump 99% of the time and had been in leadership and he beat him 64 to 36.

Wow.

And all the Republican leaders, all the Republican poobahs and establishment in Washington were behind Cornyn. And it not only didn't matter, he lost by a landslide. And that's what's going on in Maine in their party. I mean, Tim, he drove the incumbent governor of his state out of the race. She quit the race because she had no chance of winning. And so it doesn't matter if the Democratic establishment is with Platner or not. The grassroots are. Bernie Sanders went up there and endorsed him. And we should not underestimate him. I mean, Nazi tattoos and sexting and all this other stuff. Don't ever think when you get in one of these hard fought, potentially wave elections on the other side that people that you think aren't qualified can't win. They can. I mean, Jesse Ventura was elected governor of Minnesota. Donald Trump was elected president twice. He was a reality TV star and a real estate developer. Anything can happen. So right now, even with all this baggage, in current polling, he's running eight points ahead of Susan Collins today. So these are going to be real races, and they're kind of jumping the rails and going very left wing and socialistic. And then the Republican Party is becoming basically Donald Trump's America First. They're done with the Republican establishment party. So we're living in some very interesting times.

Ralph, I want to close this way. How shall we pray and how shall we thinking, how do we keep ourselves anchored in the midst of this wild journey?

Ralph Reed
You know, it's such a great question, Tim, and I would just encourage people, and I mean this sincerely. You know, this is airing, you know, what, basically 30 days a month out from the 250th anniversary of the founding of this nation. And I think this is a great time to really just have an attitude of gratitude and to express that gratitude by a praying, as the Bible teaches us to pray. You know, look at the Lord's Prayer and look at the way we're instructed in Paul's letter to Timothy, to pray for those who are in authority, not just the ones that we agree with, not just the ones who wear the same jersey we do, not the ones that are just a member of the same party, but to pray for all those in authority. Why? So that we can leave lead tranquil and peaceful lives in all godliness and dignity. So in a sense, it's almost a selfish prayer, in the same way that God, speaking through Jeremiah, told the Israelites before they were exiled to Babylon, look, I want you to work for the prosperity of the land where I'm sending you, so it'll go well for you. And then I think the second thing that we really need to do, Tim, and I mean this sincerely, I'll be doing it, is go back and reread some of the founding documents, reread George Washington's farewell address, read the Declaration of Independence if you get a chance. Just Google the Virginia Statute of religious freedom of 1778 and read that document. And here's the reason why. Because it will get us back in touch of what a precious gift it is to be an American, and it will get us back in touch with the founding ideals and ideas of this nation that are transcendent, that are transformative, that are radical in the best sense of that word and that are eternal and make us take our eyes off the muck of the current politics and keep our eyes on the horizon to which we were called as a nation. That's what I think we need to do over the next 30 days. That's what I'm going to do. And I urge your viewers to do the same.

Sam, we were in D.C. in May together. Rededicate America 250. You were the opening hitter. I mean you led off Sam. You had a message for America. I just wanted some people to hear from you about what you said and what your prayer is in this hour.

Hey Tim, really, I really felt I drafted a prayer. The White House was so generous. They did not remove one word, not one word. And then it's Friday and I really felt the Lord place an opening line. Once I discovered I was the first speaker and I went there's no way the White House will approve this. Well, Saturday morning, like, who from the White House would get back to me? And they did. They got back to me and said, absolutely, Pastor Sam, Include the words. The opening words, Tim, as you heard, was, God is not done with America and America's not done with God. And that was it. From there, we went into Psalm 89, 14. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of God's throne. Truth and love lead the way as attendants. And what about an America that is driven by a Judeo Christian value system of righteousness and justice, truth and love? So we began that process of rededicating America. You were there. To God be the glory. What an incredible event. What an incredible gathering.

Yes. A lot of people from all over the country showing up. Sam Faith is back in America. The energy, excitement was pal. I mean, it was. It was amazing. God's doing something. He really is. Sam, in the midst of all this, we got to talk about, hey, we're moving toward America 250, the big celebrations. But June is also known as Pride Month. And a little, little bit of pushback been going on lately, Sam, which is interesting. In the midst of it, while Sesame Street's pushing this LGBTQIA stuff on our kids, some are saying not doing that stuff anymore. And I saw where Governor Bill Lee out of Tennessee said, we're declaring this month is all about the nuclear family Month. And Governor Stitt out of Oklahoma said, we're going to declare it as Life Month, celebrating a pro life stance. Sam, just some of your thoughts on what's happening with this whole agenda stuff. And it continues the railroad in culture and society.

Yeah, we're fully committed to a Judeo Christian value system with a beautiful redemptive framework for the family, for societal continuity, for the advancement of civilization, all within the confines of a kingdom worldview. With that being said, and it's incredibly important to know, Tim, where's equity? Like, where is equity? Let me explain. So do we have a mud where we celebrate the nuclear family, the traditional family? So where is it? If June is Pride Month, why can't we have a month celebrating the traditional family? Right? So if Target and Starbucks, they elevate Pride Month. I want equity, Tim. I just want fairness for all. If you celebrate that month, celebrate traditional family, celebrate families that are built on a faith system, on a faith narrative, but they don't. So you're choosing, you're discriminating, you're elevating one above the other. Hence, I think what Governor Bill Lee, likewise, in the state of Oklahoma was taking place is not just two states. By the way, while you saw a Gallup poll this morning, there is an incredible pushback. In essence, the whole pride agenda went too far. That's what Americans are saying. That's San Rodriguez. Read it. Gallup poll today. Americans are saying, you went too far and there is a line in the sand. And that line is a transgender push of our children. So there is a pushback back. I think we're going to see more Oklahoma and more Tennessee's inevitably, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and others say, yeah, let's recognize traditional family months.

Sam, I've got to ask you, Henry Novak. This whole thing, racism, everything's blowing up in social media right now. It's unbelievable. My understanding is was stabbed. The attacker claimed it was a racist attack on him. Police came, they cuffed Novak. He died in police custody. People are screaming about a two tiered system of policing in Britain. Basically, they've destroyed this whole concept of racism and discrimination and more. Sam, just take us down this road. What's happening? Why is it such a big, big issue? Because it's really, I mean, really taking over social media.

Yeah. Post George Floyd, the UK adopted policies that are now commonplace in cities like in Charlotte, North Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia, Los Angeles, Camden Oak, Minneapolis, as we know now, Chicago. There are cities in America that have the same UK policies. A two tier system of justice, which is basically one group can be discriminated upon, but not another group. By the way, Tim, that's theologically nonsensical. This is what we're saying, that only white people can be racist. So black people can't be racist. Latinos can be racist. There is no Asian racism against Koreans, against Japanese, Japanese against Chinese. You're telling me racism is only that sin is only exclusive to one pigmentation. How stupid is that? That's like saying only one ethnicity can commit adultery. It's absolutely dumb. There is racism against blacks, against white people. And what took place in the UK was a racist act, flippant, against a white Caucasian young man. And because of the optics, can you, Tim, they literally handcuffed a young man who was stabbed. Stabbed. The young man is saying, I have been stabbed, I am bleeding. And you could hear the officer saying, sure you are. Can you believe this? So Southampton, some riots recently and now Nigel Farage. There's incredible pushback in the uk. This may be the tipping point against the nonsense, the nonsense that took place regarding what I truly believe is legitimate racism taking place in a two tier system through law enforcement, not Just in uk but it's likewise in major urban centers in America.

Samos I think what really happened was the body cam footage was released this week. That's really what blew everything up. They couldn't believe it. I think this happened like months ago, et cetera. And now all of a sudden it's like unbelievable that this is coming out like this and nothing was done or said about it until now.

We are what we tolerate, my friend. We are what we tolerate. And the moment that we drink the Kool Aid that only one group has the power to engage in racist activities is the moment we go down the morally relativistic slippery slope and we have let this be the tipping point where there's a good pushback. We repudiate all vestiges of racism against any color, and I mean any color. And we do it in the name of Jesus. But I am glad the UK is finally waking up, my friend. It's a new day in the uk.

Sam, before you go, I've got to ask you about hey, the celebrations are going to go on by the way. If you can get to Washington, get there. It's going to be incredible what is being planned and I know all kinds of stuff going on. You expect that with the left. But Sam, the conversations about midterms are just unbelievable. They're going on. You're out in California, Sam. You saw what's happening out there, some stirring going on. Just wanted your take as how we should be thinking, preparing and what kind of energy and excitement or whatever what's going on as we look to how we can influence the future of our country.

The most liberal state in America is California. California in the first round. Steve Hilton all things being equal prior to the mail in ballots being counted, regardless of that lands, there's going to be a runoff. Steve Hilton asked if this conversation is leading a Republican, a conservative. Let me digress. This is California. Hey guys. California. California is saying no to wokeism, no to cancel culture, no to homelessness, no to men and women's sports, no to Gavin Newsom. That's what California just did. We haven't seen this as Arnold Schwarzenegger. So oh my goodness, if California is waking up, what does this mean for the midterms? Do you know the doom and gloom? Oh, we're going to lose 20, 30, 40 seats and then the US Supreme Court decisions and then the other decisions that took place. There may be a surprise coming up these midterms, my friend, a big surprise.

Interesting, Gary. Coming off the heels of Memorial Day D Day this past week, it's really, I think, focused our national attention on our veterans and how some gave all and what a sacrifice to enjoy the freedoms that we have. Gary, Freedom isn't free.

You can say that again, Tim, although I think a lot of young people in America don't quite understand that. I think they believe that the lives they enjoy are just sort of magically there and this is the way everybody around the world lives. But in fact, there's been tremendous sacrifices that have been made all the way back before 1776, and sacrifices continue to be made right up to this very moment. Ronald Reagan used to say freedom is always an island and it's always got to worry about the waters rising and those waters overcoming that freedom.

Boy, true that. Gary. In the midst of all this, the Celebrate 250 festivities are rolling. I can't wait to see what's going to happen on July 4th. And a lot of excitement and energy up in Washington, D.C. where you're at, Gary, I think the whole nation's going to be wanting to come to Washington to celebrate. At the same time, Gary, we are in this tension, if you will, because all the primaries are going on for the midterm elections and there's a lot of buzz going on about what's happening there.

Yeah, there's some important races going on, Tim, and one of them is the race in Texas. Texas is generally thought of as a fairly conservative state, but the Republicans had a pretty contentious primary and the sort of insurgent Republican Paxton won that primary very handily, actually. And the Democrats have nominated a guy that I can't believe he gets any votes in Texas, but there you go. And Tim, I think that race is significant for not just Republican, Democrat, but I, I think what we're seeing here is an effort by the Democrats to steal the Bible. They're trying to distort what the Bible says in order to use it to justify their far left policies. This joker in Texas claims that the Bible doesn't say anything about abortion. So he thinks that it's totally okay from a Christian standpoint to be pro abortion. That's one of the, the, the most ludicrous arguments I've ever heard.

Gary James Talarico, he is a radical Senate candidate down there going against Ken Paxton, also pushes gender ideology that hurts kids, open borders that threaten endanger Americans policies by the way, that put violent offenders back on the streets. Gary, he says stuff like this God is binary and that God is not Christian. Said, said that this week, went on to say all kinds of insane rhetoric. Gary. That it's like, Gary, he's even leading a campaign called the non meat campaign in Texas, if you can imagine that. I can't think of a, a state where you eat more steak than Texas, but here we go.

Well, you know, when you just, just that summary, Tim, that, that, you know, that ought to be the Paxton ad right there. All you have to do is just run an ad with the words that this guy has said. But you know, going back to this point and Franklin Graham, who's a pretty mild mannered guy and a man that strong Christian from an important Christian family, he couldn't restrain himself. He put out a statement a week or so ago saying that the entire Bible is pro life. And he cited all the Bible verses, how the Bible tells us we're fearfully and wonderfully made in the womb. The verse about I set before you life and death, so choose life so that you and your children may live. I mean, the entire message of the Bible is a pro life message. And you've got this guy claiming that the Bible doesn't say anything about the abortion issue. I really think it's a very dangerous moment because we've also seen in other states far left Democrat candidates claiming that the Bible is pro socialism. And they'll cite when Jesus takes the loaves and the fishes and puts them all together and ends up being able to feed everybody. This is insane stuff. And it reminds me of the scriptural warnings that at some point in our history we will get to a point where evil is made to sound like good and good like evil. And, and it just goes on down through the list and it really feels like the moment we're living in. Tim.

Gary, before you go, I've got to ask you About California. All eyes dialed in on California. That race out there for governor Steve Hilton sent a message, just hard nose, straight up, let's call it straight out. And he's in the mix out there. Hey, I know he's one of the top two at the moment. Who knows what's going to happen in California. They got open, you know, mail in, ballot stuff coming in, maybe for two or three months, who knows, till they get wherever they need to be. But just, just your take on what's happening out there. Pretty, pretty shocking in a good way. And, and very sobering in another.

Yeah, you know, it's, it's interesting that you would point that out, Tim, because on the one hand, as you said, it looks like our candidate got into the runoffs for the governorship. And this upstart guy Pratt in Los Angeles appears to be in the run up runoffs for, for mayor. Yet on the other hand, it's very, very close. And you know, my first thought was,

I mean, the state is failing in many ways. You know, the Los Angeles has got a homelessness problem unlike any homelessness problem in the country. They don't do anything about it. They recoil when people point out that it's not really a homeless problem. It's a drug addiction and mental health problem. And when you bring that up, as several good candidates did, that's referred to as being a dark vision. Well, no, what's dark is not being able to walk in a park in Los Angeles with your family without having to worry about stepping in human excrement. So in my view, conservative candidates should have done even better than they did. But I'm glad that at least as of now, they appeared to have made the runoffs.

Gary, in the midst of it, we know this. God's still on the throne. What do we need to do? We need to step up and into the moment, make sure our voices are heard. We can't deny or look away from what is happening. And then we've got to celebrate God's goodness and grace. Pray earnestly and let's, let's celebrate America. Always great to see you, my friend. Heidi. June is known some circles Pride Month, but there's a lot of pushback happening. Sesame street was out there. They're happy pushing Pride Month on our kids celebrating this LGBTQIA agenda. The American public, however, seems to be tiring of it. There's a lot of pushback going on. Heidi, what are you seeing? What are you hearing?

Yeah, you're absolutely right. I just did an entire show on it this morning over at my podcast. They've lost, like right now, for example, New York City. Their big Pride parade that they do every single year, just full of immorality and Open debauchery is $750,000 short of what they need to make that parade happen. We're seeing the Same thing in St. Louis, same thing in Kansas City. A lot of these Corporate sponsors, Visa, Citibank, MasterCard, Anheuser Busch. You know, they got Bud Lighted into next year last year. And I think they're pulling back because we're seeing a massive shift in public opinion, largely because they have pushed too far, pushed too hard, and they're. The transing of the kids, I think was the breaking point. And I think you're going to see a massive shift, thank goodness, in public opinion regarding gay pride parades and all the things that they bring with it.

Heidi, I wanted to ask you about this whole Henry Novak thing that's blowing up in social media. My understanding. Stabbed. The attacker claimed it was a racist attack on him. Police called Novak basically cuffed, dies in police custody. Some body cam footage was released this week. Man, it just went wild. Heidi, your take on what's happening here, you know that. I mean, it just, it seems like the whole issue of racism is getting decimated and discrimination, et cetera. And you know, and I know people have been discriminated against, you know that I've seen racist stuff take place and I've had conversations with people around it, but it just seems like it's all getting blown up. There's like a two seared system of policing, et cetera, going on. That's what people are crying about, et cetera. But what's your take on this?

Well, it lacks wisdom. So we can all agree that there is racism and there's racism all around the world. There always has been, there probably always will be. But when you don't apply a standard of wisdom to every situation as it comes up. This is what happened in Great Britain. Listen, Europe is in massive trouble right now because they've elevated racism to the, to the point where it's akin to rape and murder. And that's why this young boy died after being arrested for something that he did not do. I mean, I watched the video for as long as I could stomach it. It was absolutely horrifying. And we're hearing the same kinds of things happening here in the United States. We need to apply wisdom. Just because someone screams that there was a racist encounter doesn't mean that there was a racist encounter. We've seen this with Jesse Smollett, right? This is just Jesse Smollett on speed. It makes me really sad. There's a loss of a human life. And frankly, Tim, the disdain that the police showed to this young man because they were so sure that he had created this or he had perpetrated this racist attack, it's very, very sad. It's also very sad that this young man who murdered this boy only got a life sentence which could possibly end up in parole in as little as 21 years. This is a 23 year old young man who, who stabbed another person to death without cause.

Be on the streets again. Repeatedly. And he could be on the streets again in his 40s. It's horrifying.

How do you want to jump to the issue of abortion? Haven't addressed it for quite a while. But nevertheless, you go back to the Biden administration. They targeted pro lifers, they teamed up with Planned Parenthood, tracked the movement of pro lifers before charging them, et cetera. Unbelievable stuff. And then you come back and look at what's happening. It seems like abortion's on the rise. The abortion pill issue, I know that this came before the Supreme Court recently. The mail in stuff continues to go on. It's, it's wild what's going on. I guess we're waiting for the Louisiana case to come up. But Heidi, just your thoughts on where this is at and what you, what your words are to people who want to stand boldly and continue to champion life in culture right now, man, this

is a really important moment. I think it's a pivotal moment. I've said for a long time, and I think it applies here. The only answer to a bold life is bold truth. And so we need to be bold in our defense of human life. The reason abortion is on the rise right now is because of the abortion pill. And Planned Parenthood just came out and said that they're going to go ahead and send it as just a, just in case. So you don't even have to say that you're pregnant anymore. It's just in case you get pregnant and you want to have this murderous pill that would cause the miscarriage of your own child in your medicine cabinet. Planned Parenthood is doing that. We need to stop giving federal funds to this, this, to this wicked evil organization that's bent on the destruction of the unborn And God's people. And this absolutely includes pastors and teachers and Christian influencers need to stand in defense for life. The wind is actually at the back of the pro life movement right now in the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Now they've done the right thing, which was to kick it back to the states. And so every state has an opportunity to stand for life. And what we're seeing is Planned Parenthood and these evil people who want to see the abortion rates increase and get higher in this country. What they're doing is they're codifying abortion rights into their state constitutions. The church needs to stand up boldly against this and we can actually win. The rising generation is increasingly pro life. We can win. The science is on our back, is on our side on this. And if Christians would just find their voice again. I like to challenge people. If your faith found its voice, what would God have you say? God would have you stand in defensive. Life. This is a moment that we can do it and I think we can shift. The tide is changing and we need to get behind it. And now's the time. Absolutely.

I want to close this way. Heidi. A lot going on with the primaries right now. Everybody's gearing up, getting ready for the midterms. Some surprising stuff happening this week, even in California. Steve Hilton sent a message out there, et cetera. You know, that who knows what's going to happen in California? But at the end of the day, also, faith is back in America. People are waking up. They're tired of everything. They're pushing back. There are a lot of great things happening. Give us a word of encouragement and challenge as we move through the summer.

Well, I'm super excited. Listen, I stayed up late. You know, I live in Washington state. I am really excited about what's happening in California. If California can get a governor that is a Republican and a Republican conservative mayor of Los Angeles, something big is happening. And I think we, this is a moment for us not to be discouraged, but to actually start to put some feet to our faith, to pray like we've never prayed before. I want to see a get out the vote campaign. I'm going to be a part of that in California and up and down the Pacific Northwest coast here. I think we can do it. I think God's people have been discouraged for far too long. The Bible says greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. God will have the last word on this. And every person listening was born for this time in human history. You guys were literally born for it. God has you here, here right now. The question is, what does God want you to do with the moment that he's given you? I think that the the answer is obedience and prayer. And I think we're going to see amazing things if God's people will respond in the days to come.

I've learned as a professional counselor that it's normal to have concern, maybe some fear or worry, especially when it feels like life's not the way it's supposed to be when things are tough. But also know if you're not careful, it can begin to consume you, control you. It's easy to lose perspective, maybe even hope. It can get so dark for some, they would feel like life would be better off without them. I say this every week. You don't have to live like that. Simply taking a step, reaching out for help. It's often the gateway to a new day or a new you. And if you or someone you love struggling, do that, reach out for help. There are wonderful counselors and pastors who care who can help you find the hope. Maybe some of those answers you're looking for.
