ICE announced this week a brand new operation to conduct welfare checks on the 450 plus thousand children that the Biden administration placed with unvetted sponsors, some of whom were sex traffickers, gang members and abusers. Every child rescued is a reminder of why we do this, said FBI Director Kash Patel. Authorities in Florida rescued 122 missing and exploited children in one of the largest child recovery operations in U.S. history. Social media was blowing up this week also over the Epstein files. The bill compelling Attorney General Pam Bondi to make all unclassified records on Jeffrey Epstein public has now passed both chambers of Congress and will head to President Trump's desk for his signature. It's going to be quite interesting for individuals like Bill and Hillary Clinton who are refusing to appear before the House Oversight Committee for their depositions regarding Jeffrey Epstein. Many are asking about President Trump and the Epstein files, gary Bower said. We've reportedly pointed out that if there was any dirt on Donald Trump in the Epstein files, it would have been released by the Biden administration because they had the files for four years and they didn't release anything. Operation Charlotte's Web has caught the attention of the nation this week. A number of arrests are happening. Bad dudes in Charlotte, North Carolina, Carolina area being arrested and hey, but there's also a lot of anti ice protesting going on. The raging left continues. Assaults on federal agents are up massively. Pretty unbelievable really. And it's that time of the year to slow it down. Take a break and enjoy Thanksgiving. A little history fall of 1621 the Pilgrims met Plymouth Colony held a three day feast. Many regard that as the very first Thanksgiving. Then it was in 1781 that George Washington was the first to give a Thanksgiving Day proclamation. 1863 President Abraham Lincoln declared the last Thursday of November as a national Day of Thanksgiving, an American tradition.

Hey.
Dr. Tim Clinton
And it's a record travel week in America. Per AAA, they are projecting 82 million people will travel at least 50 miles from their home over the Thanksgiving holiday period from Tuesday, November 25 through Monday, December 1. This year's domestic travel forecast includes an additional 1.6 million travelers compared to last Thanksgiving, setting a new overall record. Pretty amazing. Thanksgiving is the most busy travel holiday of the year. Hey, here's some thoughts from the Bible to anchor our week. The Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. And then Psalm 104,5 say this, enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise, and be thankful to him. Bless his name, for the Lord is good and his mercy is everlasting, and his truth endures to all generations. I love that. Hey, we're going to pray. We're going to get started. God be with us. Thank you for your goodness and grace in our lives. God help us to all slow it down and to give thanks and enjoy family and friends and the blessings in our lives. Pray a special blessing over our program today. Use it for your glory. In Jesus name, Amen. Let's get started.

Joining us now is Bishop Calvin Koberis. Bishop Koberis currently serves as Lead Pastor of New Life Church International in Plant City, Florida. He's a member of the National Faith Advisory Board. He's a strong voice for righteousness and culture. Bishop, welcome back. Thank you for joining me.

Thank you for having me.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Dr. Clarence Bishop Happy Thanksgiving week, my friend. It's time to slow it down a little bit and get dialed in for the holidays. What are you, what are you thinking about? What are you planning for the holiday season?
Bishop Calvin Koberis
I'm just planning to enjoy family. It's been a busy and productive year. And just to slow down, reflect and just offer my Thanksgiving unto the Lord for all that he's done and doing.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop we all knew it was going to be a wild year. It started last year with the election and my goodness, you know, come the inauguration, January 20, and it has been. Katie, bar the door because it's been a wild ride. Bishop A lot of great things happening. Bishop Still a lot of unrest, some division in the country. Just your kind of take on where you think we're at and where you think we're going.
Bishop Calvin Koberis
I think you've laid it out best that there's a lot of division in the country. However, that is to be expected when you're trying to reveal the truth. And the devil is in the details. And what we're seeing happen in our government today is those details are coming to light. Many of the things that the campaign was about to let the nation know what was happening are being revealed and that's why the riot is wild.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Yeah. Bishop that open border situation, one interesting piece this week, this whole lost kids issue. They the Trump administration ICE announced a brand new operation to find these kids, do welfare checks on them. In other words, nearly 500,000 children placed with some bad people, unvetted sponsors, people who were even sex traffickers, gang members, abusers and more. Shocking. Kash Patel said every child rescued is a reminder that of why they do the work. And they rescued, I think 122 kids in Florida alone recently. Bishop it's just unbelievable how crazy that open border mess was and still is, right?
Bishop Calvin Koberis
I mean, the open border was egregious in every way. And thank God that the president came in with that as the top of his agenda item. And a lot of people minimized what was going on at the borders and the crime and the criminal activity that was taking place. But again, I'm glad that this stuff is coming to surface so that people are seeing the truth and the need for it to be secure.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishops Basically an invasion. And what's really stunning is all the bad people they let in and you really start thinking about it was about getting votes, you know, that and playing a game. Now look what's happening up in New York City. Everything else Bishop, it's beyond the pale.
Bishop Calvin Koberis
Yeah. I mean, they're playing a game at the safety of the American people and just to get votes. And again, that's why I'm glad that this stuff is coming to surface. It's coming to light. You're seeing the game players that was involved in the background to make these things happen. And I'm just glad for our president being bold and confident in getting this work done to protect our borders and to basically protect the American citizens.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop, this raging, violent left stuff, they always were trying to paint conservatives as being violent, you know, in the last administration. Now we're watching it. It's unbelievable. I saw where ICE agents, they had bounties like they were placing on their heads for like 10,000 bucks. Up in Chicago this week, we've seen a lot of, quote, unrest and push back against ICE agents in Charlotte with this Charlotte's Web thing that's going down there and social media is blowing up over. But it's just. It's crazy to think people out there trying to defend these bad dudes. You hear what I'm saying? We're just trying to get. Get those people out of the country. People who scare us in our bedroom communities.
Bishop Calvin Koberis
Yes. And that's. It's just unfortunate again, to see the. The position of these individuals in defending these bad dudes and standing up for the horrific things that have been done against the American people. And again, that's why I'm so glad that this administration is taking the forefront in executing every order that is possible to get this stuff out of our country and to address those issues so that we can make America safe again.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Yeah. Bishop, It's Thanksgiving week. It's a week where we slow it down. Time to do some soul searching, reflection, certainly getting into that attitude of gratitude, thanking God for his goodness and grace. So taste and see that the Lord is good and his mercy endures forever as a pastor Bishop, shepherding a flock and just even on personal reflection about God's goodness and grace. And you've been on both sides of the river. You understand pain, you understand brokenness. Bishop, But I've seen you just swell with love and graciousness in your heart toward the Lord because of his favor, even toward you. But, Bishop, just some reflections from you and for all of us as we move into the holiday season again, thank.
Bishop Calvin Koberis
You for this moment. Dr. Clinton. I was telling my children on the way to school this morning in our devotion, never forget to say thank you. People don't have to be nice, and even God is good because he's God. But yet our response to his goodness should always be thankfulness. No matter the pain, the severity of the challenge, God is still good. Right now, personally, my mother has dementia, and we just learned that she has a terminal disease, cancer. And while I have been emotionally challenged by that over the last few weeks, what gives me a peace is because she has dementia, she's not even aware of what's going on in her physical body, which God reminded me of the peace that all of us should have, that my mother, who is cognitively challenged, is not aware of the turmoil going on in her body, but yet, because of her memory loss, she's at peace. And I say to everyone listening today, be at peace as you reflect upon the goodness of God. No matter how bad it has been, God has been good and is going to get better because God is involved in it. So be thankful.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop yeah. Bishop it's interesting. In the psychological research world, there's been a lot of focus on gratitude and just learning to and I hate to use that kind of cachet phrase, an attitude of gratitude, but there is something about being thankful. It changes so much. I mean, the research is astounding, astounding. If you can learn to say thank you and have that spirit of gratefulness toward God, toward other people, again, it changes you. It changes your body chemistry. It does so much. It relieves you of stress and anxiety and so much more. Bishop what do you think's in it that really does that to us, that helps calm and soothe and kind of give rest to our souls?
Bishop Calvin Koberis
I think what's in it is happiness and contentment is based and predicated upon circumstances. But the joy of the Lord is strengthened by our relationship with God. And because we have a relationship with God, despite all of the things that may go on around us or within us, that gratefulness and thankfulness comes from the strength of the joy that we have in our hearts that comes from a relationship with God. And giving that gratitude on the Lord gives a satisfaction and a peace that brings a calming and a reliance to know that all is well and all will be well as we continue to put our trust in God. So that's what the attitude of gratitude is all about. The joy of the Lord strengthens us through that gratitude.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop A lot of people are going to be going home. It's our most favorite destination during Thanksgiving holidays. It's, by the way, the busiest travel holiday of the year. 82 million people are going to travel 50 miles or more to go home. Bishop when you get home you might find a couple of people there that maybe, you know, it's an interesting time to get along together. But Bishop, somewhere put differences aside and hug on and love on each other. Bring that gratitude, if you will, to the table. There's good things that can happen. Any wisdom from you just as we go here?
Bishop Calvin Koberis
Well, first of all, thank God the government shutdown has ended that people can travel and it could be a lot better.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop, it's up 1.6 million. 1.6 more million people are traveling this year according to AAA. It's amazing.
Bishop Calvin Koberis
It's amazing. It's amazing. So when you get to your destination, if you're not of the same party of Sal Asia, don't talk about politics, just talk about family. Just talk about the great things that's going on with the kids and just enjoy a great holiday together away from any controversial topic that will cause you to end in everybody dispersing and going their separate ways. So just reflect on the year, reflect on the goodness of God and enjoy one another.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Hey Bishop, you eat turkey or ham on Thanksgiving Day?
Bishop Calvin Koberis
I take care of them both.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop, so great to see you. Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you for joining me.
Bishop Calvin Koberis
Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you.

Let's be honest, building wealth doesn't look the same for everyone. It's not just about saving. It's about investing. It's about navigating systems that weren't built for you, embracing your hustle, and relying on your community to create something bigger.
Travis Holloway
And that's exactly why we created the Wealth Break. We made something different, something more human. It's not just another financial podcast. It's a conversation about real life, real struggles, and real wins.
Rodney Williams
We're here to talk about the journey. You're hearing from people who've broken barriers, found creative ways to succeed, and learn to build wealth on their terms. Whether it's the first time homeowner, a gig worker, or someone turning a side hustle into a six figure business, we're bringing you their stories.
Travis Holloway
And we're not stopping at success stories. We're breaking down the realities, like what it means to take risk, how to navigate failure, and why resilience matters. Because wealth isn't about money. It's about creating a life where you can thrive and help others to do the same.

Joining us now is Dr. Rob Pocienza. He is the senior pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the CEO and president of Coral Ridge Ministries, and the founder of the Institute for faith and culture. Dr. Pacienza, thank you for joining me.
Dr. Rob Pacienza
It's a real privilege as we get started.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Rob, Happy Thanksgiving to you. And it's a time, I think, where we come together as families. Hey. As a nation, reflect on the goodness and grace of God. While we know there are a lot of challenging issues and things happening in our country right now, there's a lot to be thankful for. Rob, just some reflections from you on where you think we're at and where we're going as a nation, certainly.
Dr. Rob Pacienza
And thank you once again for having me on. When I think about this Thanksgiving in particular, and particularly on the eve of the 250th birthday of America, there's been a lot of talk about making America great again. But I think we need to remember what made America great in the first place. It was the providential hand of God. Before there was a Declaration of Independence, there was a great awakening and a revival. And I really do believe that as we enter into 2026 with grateful hearts, I think we have an opportunity again to seek the favor and the wisdom of God, to humble ourselves as a people and to be grateful for what God is doing. Because I think what we see, not only in Washington, D.C. but, but in the heartland of America, pastors rising up and speaking biblical truth, seeing more and more young people coming to church, Bible reading is up, Bible sales are up. So, so much to be thankful for. I think we are seeing the beginning of a movement of taking this nation back, not through political strength, but crying out to Almighty God to make our nation great again.
Dr. Tim Clinton
A lot of people are asking, Rob, do you think faith will shape the next chapter of our country? Because there is so much happening. And you're right. I saw some Barna research that came out and said, in particular, young men are coming back, you know, to God or coming to Christ and how exciting it is. And a lot of people are talking about revival in our country. I think I'm seeing a lot of it. But just your reflections?
Dr. Rob Pacienza
Absolutely. I think faith has to play a role in it. I actually believe that we're nearing the end of secularism, that age that we experienced, particularly in the west and in America, that said, believe whatever you want to believe, get God out of the public square, get God out of the public education. And we're moving into a very interesting time in our nation where I either believe that what I call neo paganism, all of the ideologies that we're seeing coming out of the progressive left, or it's going to be a Christian worldview that takes a hold of the public square, takes a hold of our cultural centers of influence. And I am hopeful, as we're seeing young men return to church, we're seeing, as I said before, pastors speaking out boldly from the pulpit. I am praying that it's Christianity and the Christian worldview that shaped this nation 250 years ago that rises to the top and fills that void and fills the bankruptcy that secularism has left us with here in America.
Dr. Tim Clinton
We came through some pretty tough years, Rob. It got dark, and people of faith were being pressed at every turn, even branded as domestic terrorists and being put in prison. People worried about were their kids going to grow up in an America that they grew up in. Rob, we're seeing also some pretty significant pushback, some raging left stuff, rising violence, obviously the assassination of our friend Charlie Kirk and what happened there, I know that really was in your heart. And people have this fear piece at the same time. It's like this faith factor and this fear factor because they're concerned about the open borders and terrorists, you know, possibly being in our bedroom communities, things like that. All those factors come together and they're kind of waiting for the next proverbial shoe to fall. But at the same time, there's an energy or excitement about, hey, maybe God's doing something in America 250, and faith is coming back. And, Rob, how do you temper that? How do you encourage people?
Dr. Rob Pacienza
Well, the good thing is we don't have to open up or develop a new playbook. We actually open up the playbook, the ultimate playbook that was written by God himself. And it's in the word that we find the answer. We find the antidote to fear. And the answer to fear is the presence of God. It's relying on our faith. It's having a spirit of thanksgiving and supplication that guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. So we want to drive away the fear. We want to drive away anxiety. We don't have to look to a new age spiritual guru to tell us how to do that. We look to God's word and we say, God, will you fill me with your presence? Will you fill me with faith? Will I learn to practice gratitude? I just got done talking to our church staff, our church Thanksgiving feast that we have every year, and I talked about the importance of practicing gratitude. Not just one day a year, but every day a year. The more we practice gratitude, the more our faith increases, the more our anxiety decreases. And we are filled with the presence of Almighty God that Paul promises we will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Dr. Tim Clinton
When the pilgrims landed in Plymouth Rock and they were so grateful, I can't even imagine what it would have been like to be bold and courageous back in those days, Rob. But they came in with the Native Americans and came together for that very first feast, I guess you would say, and people regarded as the first Thanksgiving in 1621. But religious liberty, that's what they were pursuing, and they wanted to honor and thank God for his goodness and grace. When you look at Thanksgiving, you have to step back and realize this is an amazing American tradition, is what it's all about, and it's anchored in what our faith. That's what this is about. Rob, your reflections on Thanksgiving. You just spoke to your team there, but I know as a pastor, what are you sharing with your people?
Dr. Rob Pacienza
Well, I think the secular left would have us believe that the first Thanksgiving was a feast of oppression, a feast of prosperity. But when you read the journals, when you read the early writings of our fathers, our pilgrim fathers, we see that it was a feast of providence, Providence of Almighty God, Recognizing that the only way, the only explanation for the how the Pilgrims could have survived escaping England, eventually escaping Holland, crossing the Atlantic and into the New World, the only explanation is the providential hand of Almighty God. And so we need to remember that that's what Thanksgiving is rooted in, a celebration of God's providence. God's providence for our first founding fathers, the Pilgrims, then our founding fathers in the 18th century. And we need to, 250 years later, continue to be grateful for the providential hand of God. This is not only an American holiday, it is a Christian holiday where we are celebrating the right to freely exercise our religion and relying on the providence of God throughout every season of this nation.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Rob, we know the holidays are upon us and they're obviously, it's a wonderful time of the year. It can also be a pretty challenging time, difficult time for some. Maybe they're coming into this particular Thanksgiving. The guests around the table, family around the table, maybe there's someone missing. They're going through a season of difficulty financially or whatever it is. You know, you're only a phone call away from a disaster. As a pastor, how do you encourage people to kind of rise above it, maybe put a bridge over it, which is so hard?
Dr. Rob Pacienza
I think it's a great question and it's important. Why we not only practice gratitude and Thanksgiving the last Thursday in November, but why as Christians in particular, we need to practice gratitude 365 days a year. Gratitude is such an important virtue, not only for the American citizen, but for the Christian. This is something that has guided the people of God we see in the Old and New Testament scriptures. As soon as the people of God forgot about God and they forgot about the hand of God and the provision of God, they began to grumble, they began to complain, and they began to sin, they began to stumble. But as soon as they continue to remember about God. And they practice gratitude. It protected their heart and their mind. It protected their soul. So I would say this is the reason why we need to always be reflective of how God has provided, why we need to be practicing gratitude all the time. Because it's on your worst day where maybe you fail to believe that God is for you, that you're able to go back to that reservoir of memories and that reservoir of gratitude that you've been practicing and be reminded, no, it's a lie of the devil that God's against me if I'm in Christ, that God is for me on my best days, God is for me on my worst days. But it's practicing gratitude all the time that trains our heart and mind to not allow it to despair and not allow it to go into dark places. I think this is all the more the reason why we need to cling to Christ. And I would just say to your audience, if you don't know Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, that this would be a moment where you can look to him by faith. That the world is hard, that life is full of struggles, but it's through Jesus that he allows us not only to be sustained and to survive, but thrive in this life and flourish in this life, with life to the full, both now and forever.
Bishop Calvin Koberis
Yeah.
Dr. Tim Clinton
My dad, who was a pastor for nearly 60 years in the hills of central Pennsylvania, Rob, he would say, tim, go with God. Go with him, and he will see you through. And he looked at me, and when he was in his that phase where God was taking him home, he said, tim, it's because of him I'll see you again. And we hold on to that hope. That's what this is all about. Let's be honest, building wealth doesn't look the same for everyone. It's not just about saving. It's about investing. It's about navigating systems that weren't built for you, embracing your hustle and relying on your community to create something bigger.
Travis Holloway
And that's exactly why we created the Wealthbreak. We made something different, something more human. It's not just another financial podcast. It's a conversation about real life, real struggles and real wins.

We're here to talk about the journey. You'll hear from people who've broken barriers, found creative ways to succeed, and learn to build wealth on their terms. Whether it's the first time homeowner, a gig worker, or someone turning a side hustle into a six figure business, we're bringing you their stories.
Travis Holloway
And we're not stopping at success stories. We're breaking down the realities. Like what it means to take risk, how to navigate failure, and why resilience matters because wealth isn't about money. It's about creating a life where you can thrive and help others to do the same.

Today he serves as president of American Values and Educational Nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. he's also senior Vice President of Public policy for the Dr. James Dobson family Institute. Gary, welcome back. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Gary, thanks for joining me.
Gary Bauer
Hey, thanks, Tim. Good to be with you. And Happy Thanksgiving to you. This is a wonderful holiday. I really love it.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Yeah, it's one of my favorites. Gary. It was one of my dad's favorites, too. It's a time of the year where you can come together. You don't have to worry about bringing presents or anything like that. You're just coming to thank God for his goodness and grace. And Gary, by the way, that's been a wild year. It's been unbelievable ever since we got a new Sheriff in town January 20th. Lot happening. But Gary, also a lot to be thankful for.
Gary Bauer
No question about it. You know, I, I love reading the, the old history books, Tim. They talk about the Mayflower. You know, they just the fact that they would come across the Atlantic Ocean and something that today, you know, this was no Carnival cruise, right? This was a very dangerous thing. And what did the men and women on that. That ship do? As soon as they see land, they make this Mayflower compact, this Mayflower compact where they dedicate all their efforts to God. They. They say that they want to come to the new land to plant the cross of Christ and define, seek and find religious liberty. So even before we were. We weren't even a nation. We were still just in the beginning. This is over 400 years ago. Christianity and faith in God in a following of Jesus Christ played an integral part in the beginning of America. And it's gone on from then, this wonderful history of God's hand on America. And you know, Tim, you mentioned that we got a new sheriff in town. The last guy that was in town kept issuing Christmas proclamations and Thanksgiving proclamations that never mentioned God. I don't even know how you do that. But they managed to do it for four years running. So it's. It's nice to have a president that knows where our liberty comes from. And that's the God of the Bible.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Interestingly enough, Gary, it continues this expose of the deep state and all of the corruption that's been going on for a number of years, for a long time. Gary, at the end of the day, I saw where 20 former CIA and FBI insiders basically dropped a bomb, confirming again that Barack Obama and former CIA director engineered that Russian hoax, locked it away in a CIA vault for nearly a decade. Political game at the end of the day. And hey, now all of a sudden the tables are turning and the tide is shifting. Truth is becoming exposed. And, you know, again, it's just, it's. How in the world does the human heart, the human condition, go to these kind of places? How did we get leadership that began to just spin us in those kind of dark, evil places? Gary?
Gary Bauer
Yeah, it's an amazing thing. And of course, to come on with you, I'm glad to see this coming out, but it's also demoralizing, right? I, you know, our founders knew, and a lot of philosophers over the years understood that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. And what we did with these agencies like the CIA and many others, was we gave them incredible power to deal with America's enemies. We gave them the ability to, quite frankly, lie on behalf of the United States, to spread misinformation around the world that would hurt our enemies and those that wanted to harm us in order to weaken those enemies and keep them under control. And what we found out, sadly and really shockingly, is they took. Took those hours and they turned them on the people of the United States, on the one half of the country particularly, that supported the concept of make America great again. So this is an incredible breach of the trust that we made in these individuals. And Tim, it is hard to clean it all up because even now we can't be sure they're not lying. Again, there's been a big controversy this week about whether the investigation of the assassin that almost killed Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, whether that investigation was really carried out in a way that we can trust, or whether it too has somehow been abused or that there's a cover up involved.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Gary, the pilgrims, when they came across you right as you opened up our segment here, you're talking about their, their quest for religious liberty and the God factor becomes really important here. And our religious liberties were being taken away from us. You look back, it was just a couple of years ago. We're in the middle of a throwdown. We're talking about locking people up and branding people as domestic terrorists who want to believe in God, you know, and see their faith guide and influence a lot of their decision making and how we operate our country and more. Gary, all that becomes central here. What a way to step back and reflect on God this Thanksgiving and his goodness and grace, even in our country and in our own individual homes.
Gary Bauer
Yeah, it's a great summary, Tim. The American experience, the American the history of the great nation. None of it's possible without God. George Washington giving that first inaugural address in Manhattan, actually, because New York was the capital at the time, just a few blocks away from where on 9, 11 just a few years ago, we were brutally attacked. But in that first inaugural address, he thanks Providence. He says no nation rises or is allowed to fall without God allowing one of those two things to happen. And he dedicates the nation to the God of the Bible. And history records that on his own. He added, so help me God, to the end of the oath he took as the first president of the United States. And you can just go step by step through our history. Lincoln is deeply steeped in the Bible, taught to read. By reading the Bible, he knew all of it in a very intimate way. And you can see the cadence of the Bible and central theories and ideas about the American republic that we borrowed from the Bible or all over his speeches. You can just go step by step, decade by decade and see God's hand. And the only way we're going to survive in the dangerous waters we're in now is if we continue on bended knee to ask for God's blessing. And we can only ask for that blessing if we deserve it. And the way to deserve it is to turn back to him.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Happy Thanksgiving, Gary, to you and Carol and your entire family. And it's always great to have you. Thank you for joining me.

Join us now is General Bob Page. He's a retired Air Force brigadier general with decades of experience as a chaplain and a pastor. General Page, what a delight to have you. Thank joining me.
Chaplain Bob Page
Hey, thank you, Dr. Clinton. It's so great to be here with you. And thank you for what you do for our country, helping to restore hope and give encouragement.
Dr. Tim Clinton
General, It's Thanksgiving week. Significance of giving thanks. Even the research is showing how important it is. But this is the week where we all slow it down. It's an American tradition which I find fascinating. You go all the way back to the fall of 1621. The Pilgrims met at Plymouth Colony. Native Americans coming together, celebrating God's goodness and grace in general as we think about our country right now. I know that, hey, we've been through some challenging times lately, still some division or unrest, but God's been so good to the United States of America.
Chaplain Bob Page
Oh, that is so true. And one of the great privileges of my life was to serve God and country as a chaplain. Served in the United States air force for 33 years. And that in no way qualifies me to be called a hero. But I did get to serve heroes as their chaplain and walk with them through some really hard times and point them to the hope that we have in Jesus.
Dr. Tim Clinton
General, I know one of my favorite commercials growing up as a kid was a soldier getting on a plane and heading home. Home is our most favorite destination. I saw where 82 million Americans, by the way, I don't know if you know this, are going to travel 50 miles or more this Thanksgiving holiday. AAA says it's the busiest travel holiday of the year. There's something about home, General, that just kind of warms our hearts. What is it? And just your reflections on serving those who. Yeah. Who've served our country and the connection with home and the grit and the significance of being anchored.
Chaplain Bob Page
Yeah. So good. What a great question. You know, deploying with the airmen, the soldiers going with them, and, and, you know, they're missing the holidays. You know, they're missing the birthdays, the special events. So bringing to them, going with them and bringing to them a sense of, of purpose and calling. And we' doing this for our families so that everyone can live safe and free and enjoy this good life that God has given us. We have so many reasons to give thanks this Thanksgiving.
Dr. Tim Clinton
General we also know that while the holidays can bring a lot of joy, it can bring a lot of pain. And maybe it's memories or you're going into the holidays and they're going to be different. This year you've come out with a new book, God is still for you. It's that piece that even in the midst of, and we all know this, we're only a phone call away from a disaster probably, or a life change. But General, you've spent your life doing that kind of ministry with our heroes and more. Take us down the road on how this book came about and what the heart of it is anchored in.
Chaplain Bob Page
So this book has been taking shape in my heart over the decades of coming alongside people going through their hard times. But it was always just an idea in my head. Tim until one day as a pastor after I'd retired from the Air Force and I was serving as a pastor as at a church here in the Houston area and I was sitting with a family that was devastated. We were planning the funeral of their 19 year old son who had taken his life. He had a, he had a dream, he had his life all mapped out as a only a 19 year old could do. He had life figured out and then nothing worked out the way that he thought it was supposed to. He wanted to be a Marine. And so when he got out of high school, he went to the recruiter, he went through his medical and exams and he found out that he had a medical issue that disqualified him and it was devastating to him. And so he, he tried a plan B and that didn't work. And then his sweetheart broke up with him and it was just all more than he could bear and he took his life. And that day, sitting with his mother in her agony, just agonizing and his dad who was hurting so much, I knew then I had to write, I had to get this, this book that even when life is confusing or bruising, you can know that God is for you. And he will work together with you through your greatest pain, through your darkest night, through your biggest disappointment, to bring hope and purpose out of that. And.
Dr. Tim Clinton
So.
Chaplain Bob Page
I, I started to write. I I decided I would test the water with a chapter and. Excuse me. That same week I was scheduled to to preach at a Chapel service at the, at the prison not far from my house. And so that Sunday afternoon there, there must have been about 120 or so men in the room. And I was preaching to them out of the overflow of writing that, that chapter. And so I was using the scripture and a story from that chapter and just they responded so wonderfully as every preacher would hope a congregation would respond. And after the message, there was a group of them that lined up to speak to me and ask for prayer and, or the prayer for someone they, they love. And there was a fellow dressed in his all white prison garb who was standing at the very end of the line. And he waited patiently, so patiently to get to the front of the line. And when he got there, he took my hand and he looked me in the eye and, and he said, he said, chaplain, I just wanted to tell you, you ought to write a book and you ought to put that story in it. Tim, I heard from God that day in a most unlikely place, from a most unlikely person, and, and so I started to pour out this book with all my heart. To come alongside young men with a dream that's been derailed or someone going through trauma, someone who's experienced a great disappointment or a pain in life, to come alongside them with the voice of a chaplain, to know that God is for them. And there, there are solid reasons we can know that's true. And, and isn't hope built on truth? Yeah, not, not on our changing circumstances, but on the solid rock of God's unchanging character and so we could put our hope in Him.
Dr. Tim Clinton
General, you say there are 10 reasons. Can you give us one or two just real quick, right at the tip of your tongue?
Chaplain Bob Page
I would, I would love to do that. Of course, the ultimate, the ultimate.
Gary Bauer
Way.
Chaplain Bob Page
That we know that God is for us is that he sent his son so that we could be forgiven and, and the slate wiped clean and so we could live free from the fear of death. Even death doesn't have the last word. There is hope even in facing death, because Jesus said this. Whoever believes in me will live even though they die. And so there, there is a whole chapter that weaves together biblical truth and the story of a real life couple facing a devastating diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and how the Lord gave them hope, even in, in that very difficult circumstance.
Dr. Tim Clinton
General, I want to say this. I believe you. I believe God's given you a word. It's in your heart and it comes through this camera. I can tell you that. General, if people want to learn more about you. Maybe how they could get a copy of your new book Book God is still for you. Where can they go?
Chaplain Bob Page
They can go to bobpage author.com bobpage author.com and Tim there they will find a a free sample chapter they can read that they can learn more about my story and learn more about this book and how it came to be.
Dr. Tim Clinton
General Page I want to say thank you for your service and Happy Thanksgiving to you. We will have you back. Thank you for joining me.
Chaplain Bob Page
Thank you sir. I would love to be back. God bless you.
Dr. Tim Clinton
In closing, what are you thankful for? I know some of you are thinking asking how do you give thanks when the wheels are coming off and life's not the way it's supposed to be? I hope you'll do this this week. Make a list of five things. Take the time to quote, pause and thank God for them every day. Watch how it begins to transform. Change your Thanksgiving. Remember these verses. Psalm 100 verse 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise and give thanks to Him. Bless his name. Psalm 107:21 22 give thanks to the Lord for His loving kindness. Offer sacrifices of Thanksgiving. Tell of his works with joyful singing. Remember during your festivities this week to make a new and special effort to bring alive the thanks in Thanksgiving. And go easy on the turkey dressing. I'm Dr. Tim Clinton. As always, thanks for watching. See you next week right here on Sunday. The Road Forward.

This is an I Heart podcast.
Host: Dr. Tim Clinton
Guests: Bishop Calvin Koberis, Dr. Rob Pacienza, Gary Bauer, Chaplain Bob Page
Theme: Thanksgiving, Faith in America, National Challenges, and Hope for the Future
This special Thanksgiving edition of Real America's Voice takes listeners on a reflective and uplifting journey through the intersection of gratitude, faith, and pressing American issues. Host Dr. Tim Clinton brings together prominent Christian leaders — Bishop Calvin Koberis, Dr. Rob Pacienza, Gary Bauer, and Chaplain Bob Page — for in-depth conversations on division and unrest in the nation, the power of gratitude, the need for revival, and the enduring hope rooted in faith. This episode urges the audience to pause, give thanks, and focus on what unites Americans, while tackling tough current events.
On national revelations:
"If there was any dirt on Donald Trump in the Epstein files, it would have been released by the Biden administration because they had the files for four years and they didn't release anything." — Gary Bauer, 04:47
On American division:
"There's a lot of division in the country. However, that is to be expected when you're trying to reveal the truth. And the devil is in the details." — Bishop Calvin Koberis, 09:35
On gratitude in hard times:
"No matter the pain, the severity of the challenge, God is still good. Right now, personally, my mother has dementia... but yet, because of her memory loss, she's at peace. Be at peace as you reflect upon the goodness of God." — Bishop Calvin Koberis, 13:47
On faith’s future in America:
"I actually believe that we're nearing the end of secularism... I'm hopeful... that it's Christianity and the Christian worldview that will rise to the top." — Dr. Rob Pacienza, 26:18
On hope amidst loss:
"Even when life is confusing or bruising, you can know that God is for you and he will work together with you through your greatest pain..." — Chaplain Bob Page, 56:22
Founders’ faith:
"They want to come to the new land to plant the cross of Christ and seek and find religious liberty." — Gary Bauer, 40:22
Dr. Tim Clinton concludes by urging listeners to actively practice gratitude this Thanksgiving, reciting key Psalms and encouraging the audience to "bring alive the thanks in Thanksgiving" even amid adversity, loss, or the turbulence of life.
“Make a list of five things. Take the time to pause and thank God for them every day. Watch how it begins to transform your Thanksgiving...” (Dr. Tim Clinton, 63:05)
For further connection and encouragement:
"On your worst day... you're able to go back to that reservoir of memories and that reservoir of gratitude that you've been practicing and be reminded, no, it's a lie of the devil that God's against me if I'm in Christ, that God is for me on my best days, God is for me on my worst days." — Dr. Rob Pacienza (32:10)
A timely, hopeful episode for a nation in need of both truth and thanksgiving.
