What A truly historic week. We've had 20 Israeli hostages released back to their families after two long years in captivity. A monumental peace agreement signed between the U.S. israel, Qatar, Egypt and Turkey. Two years of war finally ended. Prayers have been answered. It's not just good news, it's a miracle. For the people of Israel, it's a significant victory. As people of faith, we recognize the hand of God. In moments and times like this, we believe in the power of prayer. We believe that God still moves in the hearts of leaders, in the affairs of nations, and in the lives of individuals. Everyone watched the joyful reunions. I want to interject something right here. Elections, they have consequences. That has a whole new meaning now, doesn't it? Charlie Kirk. He was assassinated in the prime of his life for speaking the truth, living his faith, and relentlessly fighting for America. That's why President Trump awarded Charlie Kirk, on what would have been his 32nd birthday, the nation's highest civilian award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. And there was an engraved cross on the back of it put there by President Trump. Governor Newsom this week signed AB495. It blew up social media. A very concerning piece of legislation that broadly expands the way your children can be taken away from you. It's shocking to me how far off the cliff the radical left is willing to go. Faith is back, and it's exciting to see how far faith continues to surge in America. This past weekend, we held the Extraordinary Women Conference at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia. It was sold out with over 5,000 women. Chris Tomlin was in concert. God moved in an amazing way. Very exciting times. Hey. We also need to pray for the end of violence in Memphis, Chicago, Portland and more Americans. They continue to be concerned and fearful of potential acts of violence and terrorism on American soil, and rightfully so. Antifa is active, and we're now hearing about potential targeting of ICE agents. God be with us. Hey, in times like these, our hope, our strength, that comes from the Lord. Here's a great verse to hold on to this week. Philippians 4:19. But my God shall supply all your need, according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Hey, let's pray. We'll get started. God be with us. Thank you for your goodness and grace. God, we. We're moved by all that's happening in the world around us. God, continue to show your hand. Bring your steadfast love, your presence, your power, your peace. God, we pray for that. We cry out for it. In the strong name of Jesus, I pray. Amen. Let's get started. For more encouragement and to stay connected, follow Dr. Tim Clinton on Facebook, Instagram and X. We love being a part of your life. Joining us now is Gary Bauer. Bauer served in President Ronald Reagan's administration for eight years as Under Secretary of Education, Chief Domestic Policy Advisor. Today he serves as President of American Values, an educational nonprofit organization, and senior Vice President of Public policy for the Dr. James Dobson family Institute. Gary, welcome back. Good to see you. Thank you for joining me.
Gary Bauer
My pleasure, Tim. Lot going on, Gary.
Dr. Tim Clinton
What a week. Historic, miraculous week, really. Go straight over to the Middle East, Israel. President Trump going over there, Gary. Hostages being released, families being reunited after two long years of captivity. Big peace agreement being signed between the U.S. israel, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, others. It's just like, it's unbelievable. Most are describing Gary as a miracle of God.
Gary Bauer
That's a great, that's a great description. And of course, it's all happening in the land of miracles, right? The land of miracles for a couple thousand years. Yeah, you know, it's. Tim, I'm sure you had the same thought that I did watching all this. I mean, you see all those people and what was named Hostage Square, chanting We love Trump. And some of them, according to CNN of all places, were wearing MAGA hats. What? And then you go to the Knesset, where, you know, the Knesset is fairly narrowly divided between parties on the right and parties somewhat on the left. And yet President Trump got this incredible reaction. I mean, enthusiastic applause and standing. And it led me to think, you know, he couldn't get any of those kinds of reactions if he went into the United States Congress today. And in fact, members of the loyal opposition, and I use the term loosely these days, members of the loyal opposition, they almost gagged on their words. Rather than tip a hat to the fact that this president. We'll see how it all works out. But this president has done more to put together a comprehensive peace plan that could literally change the whole playing field than any previous president before him.
Dr. Tim Clinton
The President of peace is what a lot of people are calling him now, Gary. Makes no sense. If you look like you said back a few, a few days, if you will, and saw him as a hater, a warmonger, someone who had no idea what he was doing in terms of international relations and so much more. But look at what's been happening in the first, what, eight, nine months of his presidency this term, by the way. It's pretty obvious he has rolled up his sleeves. He could be cruising. He is not. He is here to leave a lasting imprint. And, boy, Is he getting it done?
Gary Bauer
He is. You know, I, I used the phrase the other day. I think it was in one of my end of day reports that the President is pouring himself out. This is not a man thinking about the book he's going to write after he leaves the White House. He's not thinking about a third term. Obviously he can't run for a third term. He, I, I don't think there's any sense of pacing yourself. I remember in the Reagan years, you know, if you could get on Air Force One with Ronald Reagan, wow, that was special. I mean, you're in the Air Force One with Ronald Reagan, but you also could get a little bit of rest because he was a normal human being and he would rest on those flights. I talked to some of our friends at the White House and they're saying, man, you on Air Force One. And when does he sleep? You're working the entire time you're on the jet because he's working on the jet. And then after everything he did in the Middle east, the important speeches, then the big meeting in Cairo with 25 heads of state, he breaks his back to get back to Washington D.C. so he can honor Charlie Kirk and continue to comfort his parents and, and his wife while he awards Charlie Kirk the highest medal you can give to a civilian in America. So it's just an extraordinary performance.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Gary, let's go there. The Bible says to give honor to whom honor is due. Charlie Kirk, a friend of yours? A friend of mine. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom on what would have been his 32nd birthday this week. What is it about Charlie Kirk? What does he represent, Gary, to the American people, we know he stood for faith and family and freedom. Yeah, there's something about him. He, he represented something. Maybe it was his youth, his courage. There was a dynamic that drew people to him and he is going to. He's leaving a lasting imprint on culture, that's for sure.
Gary Bauer
It really was an amazing thing to watch, Tim. And of course, as human nature being what it is, we all admired him, we all supported him, but you don't really fully appreciate somebody until they're not with us anymore. And I think a lot of people now are focusing more intensely on the fact that what he did, by not picking an easy place to go and make the case for family, faith and freedom, but a hard place, the universities of America that are ideologically owned lock, stock and barrel by the left, you know, they, there's all kinds of diversity the universities are worried about by skin color and this and that, but no diversity of intellectual viewpoint on that. There is unanimity on the universities. And Charlie Kirk simply went on these universities and said, here's what I believe. Prove me wrong. And I think everybody loved those videos as he would respectfully but firmly engage with these students, many of them victims themselves. They had been brainwashed by years of education in these liberal institutions. And he always came out of those confrontations on the top of the debate. And then to have him so violently taken from us by this deranged killer, I think was unnerving for a lot of people. Heartbreaking. And it's really heartening to see the President still embracing Charlie and his work and standing with that family. And Tim, by the way, how many pastors did we hear from over the years that said, hey, I don't want to get involved in the public debate in the public square that'll drive people away from Christ? Well, Charlie was in the public square every day, and he never hesitated to mention the gospel of Jesus Christ. And there's a lot of evidence that by doing that, it's Charlie Kirk that has called. Caused a. What many are calling a revival. The sweep among all the groups in America, among young Americans. And, man, that is a miracle.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Gary, I want to close this way. The memorial service for our beloved friend Dr. James C. Dobson was very moving, and I think it's available now online. But, Gary, just a word about Dr. Dobson from your heart, and then I want you to close with some thoughts or maybe a charge to pastors here in Pastor Appreciation Month.
Gary Bauer
Well, it was. It was a. A very moving day, and it was good to share that day with you, Tim, and all. All the people that were there that paid tribute to him and eulogized him and so forth. You know, as I. As I sat there, I. I re. You know, I had all these thoughts going through my mind of the last 40 years that I've worked with, with Dr. Dobson, and. And he was always promoting the things that you've dedicated your life to, and I have, too. Faith, family, and freedom is the shorthand. But Dr. Dobson knew that without Christian citizens being in the arena, America's problems would not be solved. And he used to get so frustrated with some Christian leaders who thought that you could just hide in your church and somehow that would make the difference. No, we need to be engaged in the culture. And I. I hope that one of the things that comes out of some of these big events, the loss of Charlie Kirk and the more predictable but nonetheless very Sad loss of Dr. James Dobson that, you know, the mantle passes to everybody else. Now. We, we've got to stand up. We've got to remember that the Bible tells us over and over again to fear not. We've got to go out there and in love, but also in strength, make the case for the America that we want to see, the only America that can survive the dangerous waters we're in. So I hope every pastor, every believer follower of Jesus Christ that's been inspired in recent months by some of the things they've seen and some of the victories, I would urge them to redouble their own commitment to fighting the good fight, to finishing the race, to doing all the things we need to do. Because as the Bible tells us, we're being watched by a great cloud of witnesses. And among that great crowd of witnesses is now James Dobson and Charlie Kirk. So let's not disappoint them.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Amen. Gary Bauer, what a delight. Always enjoy my conversations with you. Thank you for joining me. Joining us now is Bishop Calvin Koberis. He currently serves as lead pastor of New Life Church International in Plant City, Florida. He's a member of the National Faith Advisory Board, a strong voice for righteousness and culture. Bishop, welcome. Thank you for joining me.
Bishop Calvin Colbert
Thank you, Dr. Clinton.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop what a week. Charlie Kirk Presidential Medal of Freedom awarded by President Trump on what would have been his 32nd birthday. Quite a moment. They said that the President had a cross. I saw, if you maybe saw some of those images online, engraved on that metal, first time ever, I think, in history, you know, I stand back and think about what a service that was. Bishop Charlie Kirk represented something to the American people. I wrote down a voice, Hope, encourage, encouragement or courage, faith, family, freedom, something. Bishop, your take on what happened this.
Bishop Calvin Colbert
Week, this week has been phenomenal for the body of Christ. However, what President Trump did awarding Charlie Kirk the Medal of Freedom was well deserved simply because this man of God, as you just stated, was known as a voice to us of courage, of faith, of family and freedom. And as I said on last night, he was a man that was converted. And from his conversion he lived out his convictions. And it was his conversion and convictions that led him to be the courageous giant of faith that impacted not on the United States, but the world.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Plant City, Florida, this week. Bishop, you were a speaker at a service there, a Charlie Kirk remembrance service. I think people from all across the community, church denominations showed up together in Mass. Tell us about what happened there.
Bishop Calvin Colbert
Yes. Last night in Plant City, we had our interfaith night of remembrance for Charlie Kirk, which was a night of reflection, unity and worship. The worship was power packed. The speakers were charged. There were pastors from different denominations, non denominations, that came together to lift up the work of Charlie Kirk, but more than that, to challenge the people to carry out his mission. And that mission was here I am. Send me. Go and carry out the mission of Jesus Christ by loving your family, being unified in your community, being a great patriarch, standing up for godly moral values. And it was a wonderful night with over 1500 in attendance there at the First Baptist of Plant City. And I'm just encouraged to even see in Plant City, Florida, that the high school has launched a turning point chapter in our city where I pastor. So I'm just excited that the legacy of this great man of God continues.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop, faith is surging in America. I want to go back to President Trump and the service again honoring Charlie Kirk. When Amazing Grace played, our president and vice president stood with Erica Kirk and Charlie Kirk's parents during the entire moment there. Bishop, that's the kind of honor that should happen in our country. Seriously. And I think that's the kind of honor, by the way, that people are really appreciating about this administration. I think it's strong as acid. I don't know what you think, but, boy, I sure respect it.
Bishop Calvin Colbert
I think it's strong as well. And you and I have an up close and personal view of it. When we are there in the White House with the president and speaking with him, we understand that is not an act. It is something that even in private quarters with us, he still is big about faith and big about faith believers and the voices of faith having a platform. And it's just an honor to see a president that would uplift the name of God and uplift the principles and values of the Lord Jesus Christ in a country that was founded on Judeo Christian beliefs. And say what you want to say about President Donald John Trump. He is getting it done. I'm proud of him and I'm continually praying for him.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop this week he was over in the Middle east and in Israel. 20 Israeli hostages released back to their families after two years in captivity. A miracle. Bishop at the end of the day, it was a miracle. The celebrations, I don't know if you saw online too, the, the families being reunited together, it was just joyous is what it was. And stunning. The people were filled with joy.
Bishop Calvin Colbert
What touched me most was a few days prior, we hosted a on the 10th of the anniversary of the massacre, we hosted a service in Nashville to honor the heroes and to celebrate, declaring that we would stand with Israel only in less than 24 hours to see that President Trump initiated negotiations that led to the hostages being released, the war ending and peace being brought to the Middle East. I am moved when I saw hostages reunited with their family because I was there in Israel and so have you been there? And we watched them for the last three years go through the horror of wondering if their loved ones were still alive and crying and weeping and asking everyone to stand with them and to witness our prayers being answered and that our American president, Donald John Trump, is right in the middle of it, leading the way to peace, leading the negotiations to bring the people home. I believe this has been a God moment, a surreal moment, and I'm definitely celebrating and excited about that.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop People are calling him the peace president. What contrasts with what we were told about him. He would be a warmonger. He doesn't know what he's doing. He has no idea. He's just a bully, you know, I'm saying. But Bishop, quite the contrary. Peace through strength, that old Reagan idiom, seriously, is what's driving all of this.
Bishop Calvin Colbert
Yeah. And that's what I love about President Trump. Although he is a very courageous and very strong, resilient man that does not step down a break. He's also a kind, compassionate peacemaker that uses negotiation tactics to ensure that things are brought to peace. He did not want to see war continue, nor does he want to see war break out in any other part of the world. And we saw a president in action to bring about peace. And thank God that God has used this man of God, a person that they obtained to be everything but what they painted him to be to in front of his enemies faces and in front of the world to show what God has anointed him to do. And that's to bring peace not only in Israel and Gaza, but to the Middle east and throughout the world.
Dr. Tim Clinton
In spite of all these efforts, Bishop, this weekend, the no kings protesting, rioting going on, it just, it's just shocking to me. Bishop, what do you make of all that insanity?
Bishop Calvin Colbert
We live in a world that no matter what you do, when you're in the leader, you are the bulls I target for criticism, ridicule and even hatred and evil acted upon you. And I'm just At a point, Dr. Clinton, as I told the people last night, when these trolls come at you online and make all type of comments and try to counsel you and mute your voice, when they go low, you go higher. And you don't have to respond to shade being thrown from trees that have no fruit. These are fruitless individuals that are producing anything for our country, not doing anything to make it better other than reaping havoc and stirring up division and hatred. And I'm just praying that President Trump and all of us as leaders would remain on top, remain steadfast and focused as we continue to carry out the mission of Christ despite of our critics.
Dr. Tim Clinton
I saw this week, Bishop, where Bible sales are going through the roof. People are going back to church, people are asking and talking about God everywhere in the public square. Something's happening. Bishop, how do you encourage people in this moment? How do you. How do we build on this? And how do we. How do we get. Could faith shape the next chapter of American culture?
Bishop Calvin Colbert
It's amazing you asked this question. I just got off the line with a number of pastors from the city I pastor in and I told them, guys, we just received great momentum last night with over 1500 people being motivated to move forward with their faith. I said, now let's move forward with a gospel crusade, a Save America crusade, where we fill our football stadiums with the gospel of Jesus Christ, bringing in national voices to preach, to worship and to call our cities to salvation and to be a model of this that should take place all over the country as we ride the momentum wave that Christ Jesus is supreme and that our only hope for this world today is to turn to him. So I admonish pastors, I admonish Christians to seize the moment. People are ready to move forward in their faith and to embrace Jesus Christ. All we need to do is to be in position to offer him to the people that await his promise.
Dr. Tim Clinton
I want to close this way, Bishop. It's Pastor Appreciation Month, and people have been saying the church needs to awaken and take a rightful place. Challenge us, encourage us about how we should honor those whose feet are shod with the preparation of the Gospel.
Bishop Calvin Colbert
The Bible says that the elder who rules well is worthy of double honor. And as a pastor, I have to speak with bias today. That the men and women of God that stand on the front line to proclaim truth and to shape your moral fiber and to disciple you in Christ are one of the most important or significant voices that God can ever place in your life. And I would encourage you to honor them by standing with them, supporting them, and praying for them in their family. That through this dark hour, that your pastors don't back down, they don't bend, they don't give in, but they stand and proclaim a truth that will transcend time. And together, we will all celebrate in eternity as souls come in to Jesus Christ.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Bishop Calvin Colbert, it's always great to have you. Thank you for joining me.
Bishop Calvin Colbert
Thank you.

You know that big bargain detergent jug is 80% water, right? It doesn't clean as well. 80% water. I thought I was getting a better deal because it's so big. If you want a better clean, tide pods are only 12% water. The rest is pure, concentrated cleaning ingredients. Oh, let me make an announcement. Attention Shoppers, if you want a real deal, try Tide Pods. Stop paying for watered down detergents. Pay for clean. If it's gotta be clean, it's gotta be Tide Pods. He has written several best selling books including his Latest, the Christ 10 Biblical Ways to Heal from Trauma, Tragedy and PTSD. Dr. Murphy, thank you for joining me with you.

Tim.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Thank you, Tim. What a week. Go to Israel in the Middle east. Truly historic. Get 20 Israeli hostages released back to their families after what, a couple of years in captivity. A monumental peace agreement signed between the us, Israel, Qatar, Egypt and Turkey. Two years of this craziness finally ended, Tim. It's a big deal.
Dr. Tim Murphy
It's massive. There's been a lot of loss of life, a lot of destruction, a lot of families whose lives will be impacted forever. And we know that the conflicts that Israel's face, the Jewish people face has gone on for centuries. And certainly the issues with Israel as a nation have gone on since it was formed, although the Israeli people been around forever. But this is so important because that means other nations which have been weak, spine to say the least when it comes to standing up to Islamic terrorism, have finally come forth and says we're going to say enough is enough. That what happened in October two years ago was a horrific, horrific event. And I think they're finally recognizing this. So this does bring some peace. There's going to be a lot of healing that goes with this. But this is Powerful to bring so many nations together and something that they quite literally couldn't work on before. This is a huge, a huge change. We hope for the good.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Yeah, Tim, the, the peace process, it's going to take some real work. You talked about healing and I like that because I'm not, I'm not just thinking about that region. I'm also thinking about here stateside, all the antisemitism, everything that started happening. Tim, there's a lot of work to do.
Dr. Tim Murphy
It's, it's amazing. So in Israel, it is a country. I remember being there in the past and asking some of their military leaders about their PTSD rate and they said at the time it was lower. This was long before this happened. They said it was lower because the whole nation has to serve in the military and they're constantly innovating. They really are the petri dish of looking at what can be done with trauma reaction. But here, with the sheer magnitude of this, Israel's going to be facing a lot. But then let's remember there's a lot of American hostages that were taken to. And there's also the greater, and I say the Judeo Christian community here, which is affected by this because of the incredible anti Semitism, oftentimes fueled by college professors and the weak spine of college administrators afraid to stand up with the truth. And so this inflicted a lot of additional harm on people of faith. And that's very important we understand this because this was to sing about Israel and usually of ignorance. It was amazing to me that people thought that Palestine was a country and it was Yasser Arafat who specifically refused to go along with President Clinton's agreement. They could have had a two state solution decades ago. But as long as this anti Semitism continued on, it fuels the flames of pain inflicted upon the Jewish people here in this country as well.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Tim, I'm thinking about President Trump for a moment. A lot of people saw him as a warmonger, you know, nothing but a fighter. Doesn't know really know what he's doing, especially when it comes to international relations. But boy, I'll tell you what, he's been a president that has, he's modeled that peace through strength. Peace. And he calls himself a deal maker. And Tim, you got to tip the hat to him.
Dr. Tim Murphy
Yeah, peace through strength is a great term. I know Ronald Reagan used that effectively as well when he got Russia to back off some of their nuclear arms in that race. And what President Trump has, you're certain by people saying he means it when he tells Iran Stop your development of nuclear weapons. And I'm only going to give you a couple of days to change that. He meant it. When he tells other countries to stop pirate nations from attacking our ships in the seas, he means it. And so when these other countries note that, and I'm sure he put pressure on Israel as well, come to an agreement on this or we're going to make some big changes. They know it. And that's part of having a deal making. You have to know that there was an end point and a time frame and that was his power. And not only disagreement with Israel and Hamas, but other recent peace agreements as well, and we hope for future peace agreements between other countries at war.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Tim, what's interesting, you track some of the polling and you, you see a majority of Americans are, they're going with the president, they're with President Trump. Interestingly enough though, the pushback is strong as acid. You know that. I know this weekend everyone's talking about this. No kings rioting that's going to take place and it concerns a lot of people because there's already fear, people are really worried about terrorism etc on American soil. And then you have this insanity going on, people laying down in streets everywhere, people shooting each other up. It's almost like every day you're hearing about some type of shooting. But Antifa seems to be just really surging. And I know he declared them, you know, one of those terrorist organizations. But Tim, just your take on what's happening in the country and this kind of rising rage that we're seeing?
Dr. Tim Murphy
Well, I think that comes from a long time frame of people feeling that or having those flames fueled by this idea. You had to show animosity and hatred. Antifa doesn't really have an end point. I believe they're funded probably by outside this country organizations who want to maintain this look of anarchy. They throw around phrases like fact, fascism, Nazism, etc. I don't even think if you did an interview with any of them they would understand what that means. They're there for violence, for violence sake. You know, you compare that recently to after the terrible tragedy of our loss of Charlie Kirk. There was no riots, there was no shooting, there was no burning of buildings. But these groups will continue and I suspect they'll continue. This is no King's idea, just another way for people to vent anger and disrupt this president's success. Because what they want to do is take the focus off of the success, success. Maybe we should be wearing hats, make the world peaceful again because that's really what's happening here. But they don't want peace. They want to continue to intimidate people. I must admit, when I was in office I was the subject of some of the, not directly with antifa but other organizations who would follow me around, harass me just through the idea of keeping people back at their heels so they couldn't legislate and work together. That's we're seeing in our government now and I believe the voice of people who want to see reason and dialogue and conversation, they have to speak up more and have to say we're not putting up with this and this is a terrorist organization and they should be arrested and they should be doing jail time if they cause violence or harm.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Tim, the government shut down. You spent a lot of time in Washington. You've been through a lot of this. Where do you see this going? Are we going to get through this thing? I mean it's got to end somewhere. Will the Dems come to the table? Will they get maybe a seven, eight week extension here and figure things out? Come, let us reason together. Are we going to get there?
Dr. Tim Murphy
I think we will get there. But what happens is, and I was recently in Washington talking to some members of Congress on this and it's interesting. There are those who talk about policy and those who talk about politics. And in this one of the things I heard is, well here's the polling that says who are they blaming? Are the Democrats being blamed? Are the Republicans being blamed? Is this the Schumer shutdown? The Democrats shut down, the Trump shut down. And so it's going back and forth like that but not getting into the conversation of what is right for me, America.
Dr. Jay Strack
Right.
Dr. Tim Murphy
And this is where it is so important to have the pressure back in Washington. We will get somewhere. I thought, I think that Senator Schumer was hoping that the pressure to pay the military was going to be something that caused some caving in. Well, they're going to find a way of paying the military now but that can't go on forever. This, I suspect this may go on for a number of more days but, but it has to end and perhaps there'll be some other recognition of okay, we'll do some things, maybe a year contin of some of the things on the health care aspects there. But you got to have those agreements and not just continue to hold the entire nation hostage to this because of some of the political ambitions of who's going to be in the next Senate from New York. That's a big part of it too. Let's not forget that the whole nation is being held back because of some of those political worries.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Hey, Tim, before you go, Charlie Kirk, you mentioned him earlier this week. President Trump gave him the Presidential Medal of Freedom that was on what would have been his 32nd birthday. This Charlie died with a microphone in his hand. And just some reflections from you. I know that you really have looked into this and your heart's there. You certainly understand that freedom isn't free and this is a tough time, but faith seems to be absolutely exploding in our country right now.
Dr. Tim Murphy
It is a, it's tragic to loss. I look to Charlie's love, look in his videos and his discussions he had with people's inspiration and clarity of message that he was so very good at. And it is sad that sometimes it takes the loss of a person before we understand the real value of what they had. His gift to our world that's there. And what has happened is it has really awakened a lot of people who were tepid or undecided about speaking up about their faith. And now we feel free to do that. And I hope people continue to do that. And like you say, there is an explosion of people willing to profess their faith, get back to church, openly pray. And I think that's where Charlie's legacy will continue to have a large impact.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Always appreciate your voice. Dr. Tim Murphy, thank you for joining me.
Dr. Tim Murphy
Thank you, Tim. God bless.

Dr. Jay Strack
That's my favorite part of the whole broadcast right there.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Hey, Jay, Israel is near and dear to your heart. Big time week over in the Middle east. Historic miracle, really. 20 Israeli hostages released back to their families after two years in captivity. Big peace agreement signed between the U.S. israel, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey. Jay, your thoughts on what's happening?
Dr. Jay Strack
Tim, I've been to Israel 104 times. I went the first time when I was 19 and that's when the word of God Exploded in my life. You've heard me say I'm dyslexic. I get everything backwards. I'm add the Bible's greatest book ever written. Only problem is no pictures. You go to Israel. Hello. You step back in time and you see not only the historic sites and the mountains and the Jordan river and the Sea of Galilee, but the Dead Sea, et cetera, et cetera. But guess what? You see where all the miracles have taken place. The empty tomb. But then you also see the desert blooming and how God kept his promise to the Jews. And the Lord showed me at the age of 19. I'll bless those that bless Israel. I'll curse those that curse Israel. And I made up my mind. I wanted to be a good friend and Tim, to be able to see what Israel went through after that. October 7th. It's unbelievable. We met several. On several occasions with hostage families. I think the most noticeable for me was when Mike Huckabee. We had a great celebration of Mike Huckabee being named ambassador. I know you're a good friend. He's a good friend of yours. Mike and I have known each other since seminary. Our first job out of college in the ministry was with an evangelist, James Robinson. So I've known Mike forever, and he is the real deal. And so I was privileged to be a part. It was at the Friends of Zion Museum, and it was packed, and there were some hostage families there to welcome Mike and also to keep pleading with Mike. Mike, we know you have the year of the president. We know you represent the United States. Please, please. And we heard firsthand, you know, we'd heard it on the news, Tim, you know, but. But when you're with the family, you're with the mama, you're with the dad. Some of which had heard that their son or daughter had been killed, but they didn't have the body. And others of them heard that they were very. They were injured, but they couldn't get them out. And then there were a couple hostages that had been released and had been set free or had been freed by the idf. So it was. It all became crystal clear to me, Tim. I was privileged to see the families, watch everything going on there. And that's where this great vision of taking all these pastors to stand with Israel in December, that trip was born from that night. So, Tim, to go to the site, see where the festival was taking place, and to see that some of the people that had worked for the Jewish people had been in the homes of the Jewish people, were the Ones that knew where to go. And they, those were some of the ones that did the most damage. And that was probably the most hurtful thing to realize, not only the animosity between Hamas and, and many of those with Israel, but some of those folks that have been treated awfully well by Israel and they turned on them. And so, I mean, to see that whole thing now come to fruition where they're being set free, we've got a few more bodies we're praying, Lord willing, will be released soon for those families sake. But it was a miracle and it was a fulfillment. And what a day for the United States because none of it would have happened, I believe, humanly, without President Trump and without the United States of America.
Dr. Tim Clinton
A lot of dancing, singing, embracing, a lot of tears, Jay, But a lot of relief over there. You think about what they've been through, especially over the last couple of years, how tense it's been. You see some of the photos coming out of there. It's just unbelievable. A lot of death. Yeah. So much.
Dr. Jay Strack
You wrap up every emotion, and you see it in the release of the hostages. You see the celebration, the rejoicing, the praising God, you know, this, the, the, it just honored so many things about the Lord and faith, and yet at the same time, the depth of emotion for those that, you know, realized, I'll never hold my son again, my daughter again, my dad again, my mom again, you know, so it was, it was, if you would, a Polaroid shot of every human emotion. And then, of course, to know the role that America had played, United States had played. And again, let's give credit where credit's due. The Lord used President Trump in an unbelievable way.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Yeah. Jay. Early phases of this peace plan over there. And no doubt the nations, well, some of the wealthiest nations in the world are in that region, obviously, that's why it's become such a focal point and will always be that. Jay and you're right, President Trump seen as a warmonger, people doubted him, a lot of naysayers, but he, he's, he's being dubbed as the President of peace. Jay and it's a pretty profound dynamic here that people who, who are just looking at it, you can't deny it. There's something going on. God's giving him favor.
Dr. Jay Strack
Well, Tom Brady won seven Super Bowls. Obviously, he had a team, but he won seven Super Bowls. If my memories, if my calculation is correct, this is the seventh world conflict. I mean, war. Some of them were nuclear powers, like, like India and Pakistan. Some of these are regional wars that have gone on. But this is number seven again, I hope my calculation is correct. So he, he's kind of the, you know, he's the Tom Brady, if you will, of presidents and of peacemakers. And you got to make peace. You don't find peace, it doesn't wash up on the shore. It's not just a gift that floats down. You got to make. Blessed are the peacemakers. And one thing about President Trump, he used all of his abilities, but he also formed relationships with those that would have never, ever, ever dared to side with the United States and Israel and recognize Israel. And when you look at the Abrahamic concord, excuse me, the Abrahamic accords that took place President Trump's first term, and since you look at the role that his son in law, Jared, played, Jared Kushner, I mean, we're talking about months and months, some of them years of working with these nations. And, Tim, I've been privileged to meet some of the key ambassadors for the countries that were standing there supporting Israel and to see how far that's come. And only under President Trump could there be this recognition of Saudi Arabia and Qatar and of course, Egypt and Jordan and Oman and Dubai. I mean, it's just, it's unbelievable. And you and I have been around a while now, Tim. We know the verses, we know the news. This was a miracle.
Dr. Tim Clinton
Dr. Jay Strack, always great to have you, my friend. Thank you for joining me.
Dr. Jay Strack
Thank you, Dr. Clinton.

Simply praying a prayer from your heart to God's heart is the way to get that done. You can pray after me. Lord Jesus, I need you. I know I'm a sinner. I believe you died for my sin. I want to turn from it. I want to invite you God into my life. I want to trust you and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for loving me, for giving your life for me, for the gift of grace and forgiveness, the gift of eternal life, Heaven with you. I pray all this in Jesus name. Amen.
