It is Good Friday 3rd April, year 2026. The most solemn day in the Christian calendar is today. We'll have special programs throughout the day. Natalie Warner is going to have our evening show. We've also got Ben Har will will join us from Rome tomorrow. Our Holy Saturday special that we always doing of course Easter Sunday. Brandon Wiert, you're on deadline and of course people got to put this in perspective. We've had CENTCOM is reporting I think 11,000 or 12,000 sorties first off that's an extraordinary amount just in the time we've been there and it shows you the uptempo of what these kids have been doing on these on these carriers and the airmen in our air bases in the region have been doing in harm's way. It's just incredible. These things are going to happen. You're going to get some people shot down. That's just the reality. This has not been confirmed by Centcom but like Jack Posobe just said Axios and other people that have inside baseball or they leaked to on a regular basis are now starting to report it. So Weikart, as we, as we leave you because you're on deadline, your overall, where do you think we are? The other day you said we're, we're the President Trump left it open for combat troops. I don't happen to believe that. I thought he shut that down to saying, specifically not saying. But where do you think we are, particularly given the update that looks like now we've had a F15 shot down and we have a bunch of search and rescue heroes and helicopters and C130s hovering over the area.

Well, I think that this might be a wake up call in the White House and it might actually spark Trump to actually find that golden off ramp. That's my hope. But I still watching these troops flowing into the region. You know, the USS Gerald R. Ford apparently has, is underway now from Croatia and I am told it is heading back to the middle to the CENTCOM AOR area of responsibility at a time when now they're deploying the, I think the George H.W. bush is inbound. You've got the Abraham Lincoln. And apparently in that last wave of Iranian missile strikes last night, the Iranians actively shot at the Abraham Lincoln. Uh, so to me this looks like we're plussing up. Doesn't look like we're de. Escalating. Uh, it might be in support of just more airstrikes, which I think is the hope that this is all that this is. But when you pair that with the number of troops flowing into the region, unfortunately, again, it looks like Trump is still tempted to climb that escalation ladder. And I can't stress enough how significant of a, of a problem this will be for the United States if we get bogged down in a ground war either along the Iranian coastline or what I think's probably gonna happen or they're gonna think about doing is this Tom Clancy running gun in the desert going after, you know, 450 kgs of, of uranium. So I, I hope that this is a wake up call that we get these pilots home and then President Trump says, I've accomplished everything I need to tag Europe. You're it. That's where I hope this is going, but I don't think it is. It looks like he's still moving those troops into the area. And another carrier. That's, that's a big, that's a big show for us.

Correct. Because you got a couple of three carrier air wings. You're still sending 82nd Airborne in understand some National Guards been on the ready. Your thoughts?

Well Steve, of course when we saw that we were looking at it to wonder if that was going to be a way of relieving the Ford and have the Bush come in to backfill the Ford there and perhaps bring them back. They've been out already for a record amount of time. I think they're actually going to hold the record for for a post Vietnam deployment coming up here in a couple weeks in May. So we know they've been out for quite some time. They're also involved in the Venezuela operation. Just to give folks an understanding of how long the Ford has been out there, this crew, what they've been under the the amount they've been under as as my my Navy friends tell me of course throw Croatia is a great liberty port so hopefully they had some had some good times going out. Steve, I believe you call it going booming out there in in Croatia. Not that you would know anything about that but of course we hear to scuttlebutt around the fleet and so they're they're getting back in the fight. Now look, if if this is in fact true if this reporting does line up then you could see a drastically increased op tempo of these strikes with three carriers there. We haven't seen this since really the peak of the war on terror, the peak of the Iraq war for their ability to be able to continue to conduct these types of strikes. They can go hard, they can go heavy and of course this is all messaging to the itself. So President Trump really presenting them the fork in the road. Do you want to continue down a path potentially of more escalation hit the bridge yesterday of course that we saw or do you want to go down this road of perhaps an off ramp and remember we saw the talks going on in Pakistan, bringing together the foreign, some of the biggest foreign ministers, the biggest power players in the region, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi, and then of course, China. Everyone knows that anything coming out of Pakistan is going to have the Chinese Communist Party stamp on it. So that five point plan that was issued by them is absolutely clear. And the fact, Steve, that we have to say it again, the US Petrodollar is what is at risk here. That is why the Iranians are very clearly taking those tolls up through the Strait of Hormuz in Chinese yuan. That is Chinese currency, not the US dollar and that is not happening by accident.

That's full bricks, by the way. I think, Jack, check this. I think the Pentagon has just confirmed a US fighter jet has been shot down over Iran.

Yeah, the paper of record. Then it has to be true. It can't be fake. News of the New York Times has it. Dr. Thayer, did the fork in the road come a little early? I thought that I. My understanding, look, I'm just, I'm like, I'm just, I'm just watching the President. My understanding what the President said is that the hitting of infrastructure, energy infrastructure, more like transportation, things that are actually about the life, not the military capabilities of the regime and not the regime's command and control, but that the fork in the road might be in a couple of weeks if he didn't get a deal. They hit him pretty hard last night, including taking out bridges. I think the Israelis hit much harder than the Americans. Your thoughts?

Look, Trump is maximizing his options, Steve, so as we would expect. And so even though he's delineated that timeframe, two to three weeks with Trump, as you well know, other options, you know, he wants alternatives and he wants choices. So we could certainly escalate, as Brandon and Jack have mentioned, that's putting real pressure on the Iranian regime. That threat, threat in being of The Marines, the 82nd, obviously other assets that we have is putting real pressure on the Iranian regime. Also broadening out to the civilian target set, the economic target set. The hit of the bridge was just an indication of what the United States could do to Iran if it wanted to. So I think we need to keep that in mind, recognizing that President Trump will be making his own decisions in this regard. But he has arrows in the quiver if he chooses to escalate. I would just add too, Steve, the pilots, the Wizzo and the pilot of the F15E, we pray for Their safe recovery if they're captured. Of course, that, that adds a wrinkle. We remember the three soldiers who were captured in Kosovo, actually, I think in Albania. But how the three soldiers in 1999 affected Operation Allied Force. So we pray for their safe recovery, of course, because if they are prisoners of war, the Iranian regime obviously has another card to play.

But, but people are gonna have to be steeled for this. You know, there is a probability they could be captured, hopefully. I mean, let's pray that they're alive first. And the wizzos, the weapons officer, because it's a, it's a, it's a two seater, it's. So the plane itself is flown by the pilot and all the weapons and navigation. The bombardier navigator is the, is the second. You used a Clausewitzian term. I want to make sure people have nomenclature here. Threat in being. Define for our audience what that means and how important that is.

Well, it's a military capability that is not yet deployed, but could be deployed very rapidly. So the U.S. has those assets clearly, again, 82nd the Marines. There are ground options clearly that President Trump could choose to execute. But that threat in being, of course, is on the minds of the Iranians. And that's the whole point here, is to focus on their will to continue this conflict and their calculus of how many costs they're going to incur. So President Trump is giving them that threat in being. They have the possibility of this conflict escalating to a level the Iranian regime simply does not want to pay. So it weighs on their minds, and that's the point. Even if it's not deployed.

Jack, I know you've got a bounce. Give us your closing thoughts that you're going to be doing some more hits, particularly as you have search and rescue now in. The Pentagon's confirmed we've had a, we've had a fighter jet shut down over Iran. There's a rescue attempt for the pilots. Your thoughts are well, Steve?

That's right. Of course, we're going to be tracking this, tracking how the administration responds to everything, tracking whether or not keep in mind that with additional assets in the region, and of course, assets that the United States can already the Pentagon can bring to bear, they certainly have the ability to maintain suppressive fire. If a search and rescue operation and recovery operations do begin, I imagine you'll start to see that to make sure that everyone's able to make it out of there safely. You may see those A10s come online and some of the other forces that we know of being Pulsed to the region or surged to the region as the nomenclature goes. And of course, we're praying so much for the pilot here. Member and the wizzo, you know, reminds me of so many different types of very high profile engagements, whether you go back to January 2016 and the United States Navy sailors that were captured by the Iranians or even all the way back to Gary Powers, the, the spy pilot that was shot down over the USSR and the fact that that was turned into a massive international scandal, this international affair between the US and the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War. But Steve, of course we're going to be tracking that over here at Human Events and just wanted to give a special shout out. By the way, there are a couple of good members of the posse that showed up last night over at George Washington University. We had a huge Turning Point event out there. A thousand people showed up in total. It was the great Caroline Levitt, our White House press secretary as well as the new Turning Point CEO. Erica Kirk was there and you had an opening speaker who was myself kicking things off. It was just a great thing. The team was incredible. The students were incredible. Great questions and I would say we're doing everything we can to make sure that the mission of Charlie Kirk stays focused.

It's going to be quite intense on Good Friday, the most solemn day in the Christian calendar. Let's make sure we're praying for not just all our troops and sailors and everybody in harm's way, but specifically for the families and the pilots that eject look like they ejected and also these incredibly brave men and women that are going now in harmony way to rescue their comrades. Okay, I think we got an update. We're gonna get back to that in a moment and Dr. Thayer's gonna stick around with We've had to juggle a lot on the show this morning. Julie Kelly, who was going to be here for an analysis of Pam Bondi and some of the candidates, is going to be with Natalie tonight at First Five. Also, we had an update. Peter Tickton, the lawyer at the federal level for Tina Peters was going to join us. We're going to I think also get Peter at 5pm so the 5pm show is already going to be packed with Natalie will be at the anchor, Kobe Blumenfeld Gantz, I can't thank you enough for this really extraordinary what you've done because I've gotten such tremendous feedback and started this company. I just want to go back to a core basis for starting chapter about this Medicare situation because now there's all kinds of reports coming out. There's even more confusion about Medicare. And of course, the president did say the other day says, hey, look, Medicaid, Medicare, they're going to, we have to figure this out. We got to pay for these wars. The budgets, I think coming out today leaked to Bloomberg, folks. We got a lot of work we got to do on the budget. The Scott Bessant, the secretary of treasury, former contributor here, his target of getting to 6% of GDP on the deficits. I don't think we're going to hit that. And that means we've got a whole nother issue in front of us. So we'll break that down. Like I said, Philip Patrick will join me tomorrow and on Monday and Tuesday. Now, given all the war coverage, we'll get down to some of the fiscal and financial responsibilities. You looked at Medicare in this situation with your parents and people like your parents or people like me that, you know, have advanced degrees from Ivy League schools and cannot understand even the most basic stuff about Medicare, it's so confusing. You get so frustrated. You came at this from a very different perspective. You're not a health care guy. You came at this from data because at the end of the day, to make choices here, you have to understand the information. And that's one of the things that the system is kind of set up to obfuscate that and that plays into the hands of the insurance company. So when you see these other advisors, they want it to be complicated. They want you to be confused and they certainly don't want you to have, as we say, markets tend towards efficiency. In efficient market theory, the more information you have and to get perfect information, that's when they're totally efficient. The Medicare market is highly inefficient because they go out of the way to make sure that you don't have access to or can understand the information that's out there. Kobe, your thoughts?

Yeah. You talk about the budget deficit. We spend over 2x the amount on our healthcare that we do relative to what we spend on our defense and all of our military efforts. And a large part of that is this wasted administrative burden that's imposed on the system. So exactly as you said, we do not do a good job of giving people clear information and clear guidance. So at Chapter we really pride ourselves on having the best information and we do a lot of work to provide that information to Americans. But today over $100 billion per year is wasted just because people aren't on the right Medicare plan. That's $100 billion that could be going back into Americans pockets and that is being wasted into the system which contributes to these very large outlays that we incur every year. And as you said, we as a country need to do a much better job of diminishing our debt, not increasing it. And we're not going to be able to do that if we don't get much more efficient health care systems and particularly much more efficient Medicare system.

Kobe, the perverse incentive is that the insurance companies want that they like this complicated system because the hundred billion dollars in fees are out there shift to them. It doesn't really shift to the American people. Hence when we send people to Chapter, they come back and go, this is like a revelation. Walk through what you guys do, how you're set up, how you're structured and how you interface just with normal people like myself or the rest of the Warren Posse that need this service.

And the initial call takes about, my understanding is about 20 minutes. And on average you're saving seniors about $1,100, is that correct?

That's right. Often more, but on average about $1,100. And that's a function of lower premiums, lower prescription co pays, just lower costs. Because we do look at every option and we're always putting your needs first and we're not trying to push a plan down your throat. That might be better for us, that's worse for you. And that's sort of in aggregate. If you think about that 11 or $1200 a year across 70 million Americans, that's that $100 billion.

Well, the former Iranian foreign minister is sending up a trial balloon. Former Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif has talked about the necessity of having a comprehensive peace plan to resolve what he calls a stalemate. That he's recognizing that this is not a war, that Iran should continue or is going to achieve victory, identifying again as a stalemate, and is calling for then the conflict to be resolved. So that's a very important trial balloon, Steve. That shows.

Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on. Why do you think it's a. Why do you think it's a very important trouble? You think he's got any authority to do it or he's just another guy throwing it up there?

I'm sure he's. I'm sure that he's got ties to the existing, the present Iranian regime. And so I don't think he's just throwing spaghetti at the wall here. If you look at the details of what he's saying, even though of course it's a bit ambiguous, again, it's a trial balloon. It's showing that there are elements in the Iranian government, if not the totality of the Iranian government saying it's time to recognize that this is a stalemate. As Zarif identifies, they'd be willing to give up the nuclear program in return for lifting sanctions. And the other points there, of course, are going to be important, but that's a huge step forward for potentially bringing the conflict to an end.

And he's got forces in the region now that can be deployed, as we've discussed this morning and as we've discussed previously. So if he chooses to escalate, right? Moses only brought down 10 Commandments from Mount Sinai, Steve. He didn't bring down 11. So we know the 11th Commandment is not that you're going if you escalate, you're going to get into a trap, right? There's good logic, military logic, for escalating in the right circumstances. US Military history is replete with examples of escalating to bring about the defeat of the adversary. Well, you guys have fought to make sure that we get back to teaching the very basics and foundation, not just of Texas history, but American history with a focus on what it took, the patriotism, the sacrifice that our forefathers went through and the great women in this country to actually build this nation. The book publishing deals that the book publishers have with Texas are so big, given the number of children in the Texas school system, that it drives basically the school textbook publishing business in many other states. I think it's 16 states at least. So everything you say is great. What's the big deal?

Well, the big deal is right now the Islamic groups like care, the left wing teacher organizations like AFT are coming out of the woodworks and they're rallying their people to be at the State Board of Education next week because they understand.

And I see pamphlets and flyers that this weekend they're having training sessions and having anti Islamophobia meetings to prepare their people to show up on Tuesday. How can that possibly happen? They're designated as a terrorist organization. How can CARE be putting on these, these events to basically prep people to go before the Texas Education Board? And how can they even be there if they're not arrested? They're a terrorist, or didn't the governor designate them a terrorist organization?

Well, the governor sure did. The FBI has called them a Hamas front group. I mean, this is a group that some of their leaders were convicted of funneling money back to the Middle east for terrorism. They understand how important this is. If you can capture the mind of our next generation, you can take over this country. And that's certainly their goal. And I can promise you that myself and the conservatives on the sboe, we're going to stand up to them. We're going to call them out for being a terrorist organization. But unfortunately, politics is all about pressure and there are elected officials that if you put enough pressure on them, they could vote the wrong way. And so we need our people to be there right along with them. And that's the fight that we're going to have next week.

Well, they've come and they said that they want to talk about the Islamic contributions to America and Texas history, which when you look throughout our history, that's going to be an awfully short study if we were to do that. And so they're attacking all of those mentions of God and the fact that our founding fathers were Christians and generations of Americans were Christians with the Mayflower Compact taken out and just anything that mentions God in history. And so there's very uncomfortable, obviously, living in a nation that's a Christian nation. So I would say, you know, if you're uncomfortable with our culture and way of life as Americans, maybe another country would be a better fit for you.

Julie Pickering this is almost Kafkaesque. The CARE people should be arrested when they show up on Tuesday. They shouldn't be given a time to speak. And the Islamic contribution to this country is all negative. Let me repeat that. It's all negative. The costs that we've had in fighting wars in the Middle east, the cost we've had of terrorism here, the opportunity costs we've missed because we put trillions of dollars, trillions of dollars into national security in this country because of a religion that's based upon hate, and particularly it's based upon hatred of Christianity. So I don't know why Texas authorities are not arresting the people at CARE that show up, but what are we doing to make sure that the voices of Texans, of patriotic Texans, are heard? Because this is going to be 8 o' clock and my understanding is at 5:00pm today, Texas time, Central Daylight Time, you have to fill out some paperwork with the State Board of Education to make sure that you can testify On Tuesday. Is that correct?

Yes, Steven. Steve, I completely agree with you. I don't understand how they can come before the Texas State Board of Education and not be arrested. You know, if we had a terrorist, if we had a known terrorist going through an airport, would they say, oh, you have First Amendment rights. We're not going to do anything? No, of course not. So why are we letting known terrorists, according to the governor of Texas, why are we allowing them to come and say what they want our children to learn and bring groups of people that they have groomed and that they have trained to, to influence us on what Texas students should learn? So I agree with you. They should be arrested the minute they step foot inside the Barbara Jordan building. But yes, we need people to testify. And let me tell you who's qualified to test testify. Anyone who lives in the great state of Texas. If you are a mom, a dad, a grandparent, a business owner, you have a vested interest. Citizens of Texas have a vested interest for us to get this, this right, for us not to have this Radical Islamification of U.S. history and Texas history that completely cancels out Western civilization and completely cancels out Judeo Christian values. You have a vested interest in making sure that the next generation of Texans, these are your future doctors, your future future attorneys, elected officials, business owners, pipe fitters, mechanics that you want. You want a population that loves and appreciates America, not a population that resents America, resents Christianity and loves Islam. This is a complete replacement of our culture. On the State Board of Education website that is doing exactly what CARE has asked us to do, exactly what the terrorists have asked. This Republican member has already submitted amendments to remove all books about the presidents, all books about patriotism, all books related to Western civilization.

And so he doubled down on it, submitted his amendments anyways, and so people can look at that amendment on the mandatory reading list that goes along with these new teaks. It is shocking to me when we have actually have a Republican member of the Texas State Board of Education that has already filed amendments that aligns with the terrorist organization.
