That the U.S. continues to bolster its capacity for ground operations. About 1,000 troops with the Army's elite 82nd Airborne Division are expected to deploy to the region in just a matter of days. They'll include a battalion from the division's Immediate Response Force, which is a brigade that's ready to deploy and fight. Within hours of getting the call, they'll join two Marine expeditionary units totaling about 4,500 personnel, also headed toward the Gulf, also equipped and trained to be ready for action on short notice. Now, word of this new deployment capped off another day of some hopeful talk from the President about negotiations with Iran.
Eric Bolling
They're going to make a deal. They did something yesterday that was amazing actually. They gave us a present and the President arrived today and it was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money. And I'm not going to tell you what that present is, but it was a very significant prize and they gave it to us and they said they were going to give it. So that meant one thing to me would deal with the right people.
Military Analyst
Unclear what that president he's talking about actually is, though he did later say it had to to do with the Strait of Hormuz and was oil and gas related. Purported gifts aside, though, gas prices rose again today to $3.98 a gallon, just 2 cents shy of the $4 mark and a full dollar a gallon more than the day the war began.
Middle East Expert / Analyst
Meanwhile today, a senior diplomat in Iran who requested anonymity, told Ms. Noun Iran is not ready to enter negotiations at this time. Also breaking tonight, Ms. Now just confirmed the Pentagon is preparing to send about 3,000 soldiers to the region. The troops from the Army's 82nd Airborne Division are in addition to nearly 5,000 Marines already on their way to the Middle East. That's a total of nearly 8,000 troops headed to the region. Here's how House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries pushed back this afternoon.
Steve Bannon
Not a single troop should be put into harm's way in the context of Donald Trump's failed effort to try to bomb Iran out of existence without any clear strategy to improve the quality of life for the American people.
News Reporter
Story the United States has now sent Iran a 15 point plan to end the war in the Middle east as fighting rattles the region and economic fallout escalates. That's according to the New York Times, citing two officials briefed on the diplomacy who say the plan was delivered by way of Pakistan. The paper notes it is unclear how widely the plan has been shared among Iranian officials. It also remains unclear whether Iran will accept any offer or if Israel is on board with the proposal. I would say those are two key areas for this to work, officials tell the Times the plan addresses Iran's ballistic missile and nuclear programs. The Wall Street Journal, meanwhile, cites officials who say the document calls on Iran to dismantle its three main nuclear sites and end any enrichment on Iranian soil, suspend its ballistic ballistic missile work, curb support for proxies and fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The officials add that Iran would in return have nuclear related sanctions lifted and the US Would assist while monitoring the country's civilian nuclear program. The Journal also reports that mediators from Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan are pushing to have a meeting arranged between US and Iranian officials in the next 48 hours. But both sides remain far apart.
Political Commentator
He was bluffing. They called his bluff and he backed down. And you know, you can say that he was doing this to soothe the markets. Another way to say that is that he's doing this to manipulate the markets. And what have we seen? We've seen the president completely change his explanation of what he wants. Just days ago he was calling for the unconditional surrender. Now he's saying, ok, we want to make it with such and such terms. And this is complete strategic, strategic incoherence. And despite the fact that we have a military that can hit any target that Trump tells it to hit, if we have no strategic direction Then there's no clear way to get to the end of this war. Now it's a good thing. And I think that Trump has realized that he's going to have to deal with the Iranians. But to do so in a way that has no coherence and no actual plan for extricating the US out of this war is diplomatic malpractice.
Military Analyst
The head of the, the guy who was assassinated last week, what's his story?
Middle East Expert / Analyst
So it's not a regime change, it's personnel change. Anderson. Essentially you have a new group of individuals who share the same ideology, and we call them hardliners. They call themselves principalists because it means they're loyal to the principles of the 1979 revolution.
Military Analyst
Do they actually, I mean, that's the term they actually use.
Middle East Expert / Analyst
Yeah. In Persian they say usul gera. So principalists. And those principles are essentially now, couple of things, death to America and death to Israel.
Military Analyst
Hasn't it always, I mean, those have always been kind of guiding principles, haven't they?
Middle East Expert / Analyst
They've been the guiding principles since 1979, and it hasn't evolved at all since 1979.
Military Analyst
Is it, are they more hard line, though? I mean, that, that has been the argument that. Yes, okay, it is technically, I guess, regime change because there's new people there. Is it a regime that is harder against Israel in the US I think
Middle East Expert / Analyst
it's a regime which is even less flexible than before, even more brutal than before, because they know that that's the only thing that they have left to stay in power is brutality. Given their lack of legitimacy, sources say
Military Analyst
roughly 1,000 U.S. soldiers from the 82nd Airborne, as we said, are expected to deploy from. If they in fact did deploy, deploy on Iranian soil from a legal standpoint, which is what you do, how does that change the equation for them?
Cancer Survivor / Work Advocate
So for me, I think it's helpful to remember that we actually don't have affirmative congressional authority to be engaging in this war. Only Congress has the power to declare war, and they haven't here. And so the way that the executive branch has basically been getting around that is by saying we're not technically at war, we're just engaged in hostilities or just less than hostilities, we're to trying just doing airstrikes, and we're not committing serious numbers of troops to any type of ground force invasion. Well, you're kind of out of that excuse when you hit that.
Military Analyst
So Article one, even if it's just a couple thousand troops.
Cancer Survivor / Work Advocate
Yes. I mean, that is expressly what Article 1 is meant. And The War Powers Resolution is meant to prevent commitment of significant ground troops to a region without having congressional input, without having basically the people approving that through their legislators.
Military Analyst
And General Marks, you heard the Israeli Defense Minister saying today that they wanted to occupy a swath of southern Lebanon. How difficult a military operation would that be? I went out with Israeli troops in Southern Lebanon in 2006 and it was incredibly difficult. I mean, just moving inch by inch in armored vehicles because of, you know, roads that were mined.
Eric Bolling
Right. The difficult with that, the difficulty with that clearly is you put your troops at risk. So in order to do that, you have to move to the northernmost or furthest most boundary and then you have to work your way back. In other words, you have to isolate it. That simply takes time. And again, anytime you put boots on the ground, you enhance the risk. If I can also go back to what Margaret said, in advance of that, there clearly is intelligence that has to be provided to your partners if they are in fact going to execute some operations. That's all part of it as well. And again, you want to be able to do the diligence and the vetting in advance so you know what your partners are all, all about, because you're going to share, in this particular case, we're going to share with the Israelis and they're going to share with us in advance of any strike or any operation.
News Reporter
And in a sign of that distance. Shortly after the 15 point plan was submitted to Iran, the country's military mocked the attempts for peace. Speaking in a pre recorded video that aired on C State tv, an Iranian military spokesman put it like this, quote, have your internal conflicts reached the point where you are negotiating with yourselves? He added, quote, our first and last word has been the same from day one and it will stay that way. Someone like us will never come to terms with someone like you now, not ever now.
Steve Bannon
You see you. You say it that way and sort of a chill goes up your spine. That's the way you do it.
Middle East Expert / Analyst
What the press has reported is the person that President Trump has in mind is the current speaker of Parliament, Mohamed Bagr Kalibaf, who is former senior Revolutionary Guard commander, close advisor to Moshe Khamenei. I actually, by happenstance met Khalibaf in Davos at the World economic forum in 2008. And he's someone who kind of in his heart wants to be a modern strongman, but no individual can change the ideology of this system.
Military Analyst
Why is that?
Middle East Expert / Analyst
Why can't they change the ideology? I think that this is a regime which understands that if they open up to the world, that's actually an existential threat to them because their ability to control Iran is much easier when you don't have the forces of international capitalism and civil society. And it's a regime which for 47 years has been premised on hostility towards the United States. And they actually fear normalization with the United States more than they fear conflict with the United States.
Military Expert
I mean, we're getting energized about the fact that we're deploying forces. But both the MU and the Individual Response Force, the IRF, or what's going on, called the Ready Brigade from the 82nd Airborne Division. They're relatively small forces and they can't move around a lot. They have specific missions that it's understandable why they would go in first. But this is a first effort. The 82nd deploys worldwide with that ready brigade deploys within 18 hours. They're wheels up out of Fort Bragg or Fort Liberty. Now they conduct forcible entry. What that means is they parachute in somewhere conducting an airborne assault to seize key terrain like an airfield or a weapons site or critical infrastructure. But they can't move around a lot and neither can the Marine Expeditionary Unit. Once they go ashore or drop in from the sky, they are stationary. And a long time ago I heard a comment that if you forget logistics in war, you're going to lose. Now this may these two forces may be the entry level forces, but it indicates that there's plans for others to come in. But those others coming in will come in very, very slowly. When you're talking about the rest of the 82nd Airborne Division still, that's a relatively small force, about 15 to 18,000 soldiers, depending on how many you bring in with the entire division. In a land that's as big as Iran, with the kind of terrain they have and the geography, even supported by a massive number of overhead aircraft and Tomahawk missiles, these two forces can form a lodgment, as the military calls it. But they can't do a whole lot more until more follow on forces come in. So I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what these two, actually three, two mews and one brigade are going to do. Now the 82nd Airborne has also deployed their command post, which indicates to me that more are going to come in. But first of all, where are you going to put them as they all pull together? Because you can't put them immediately into Iran. They don't have the logistics support to go in there. Where are they going to Go. What are their missions going to be? What are the following follow on forces. And because these three forces, two Muse and A Brigade, are designed to open a fight but not to finish one. And so we're thinking about putting forces, a lot of forces on the ground. This is an opening gambit and it's interesting that it's taking place while we're still bombing and conducting peace talks in Pakistan.
Eric Bolling
Do you think the President's thinking right
Steve Bannon
now based on your reporting and what direction are we going?
Foreign Policy Analyst
So I'm going to guess that the President is thinking today the same thing he thought the day the war began, which is that the overwhelming military power that the US Is sending has sent to the Gulf and has been using against Iran will force Iran to make concessions that it now says it's not prepared to make and that the US Will get a settlement that's acceptable, that meets basic minimum US demands. I think he still believes that, as he keeps saying, we're winning this war. And by conventional military standards, he's right. The problem is that the military campaign has consolidated power in Iran around the worst of the worst, the hardest line. People in Iran, you know, tougher in many ways than the people who were running the country before are now in charge and they don't want to make a deal. So I think truly we just have to be cautious over the next few days and see how this proposal for peace, the 15 points that Trump has sent, how that's received by Iran. There's a new deadline. Trump has said he's going to wait a five days to get an Iranian answer. So that clock tolls Saturday, as I understand it. So there's not much time left. But as the Wall Street Journal said in an editorial this morning, even Donald Trump today doesn't know the answer to your question. Joe.
Sam Faddis
He doesn't.
Foreign Policy Analyst
I don't think he knows how this plane is going to land.

coffee shop running smooth thanks to genius from Global Payments, instant transactions, effortless inventory and synchronized operations, big league reliability for any business, that's genius. War Room here's your host, Stephen K. Ban. Okay, welcome back. President Trump's given them this 15 point plan is an exploding offer. He said that he's been pretty adamant. It's only a couple days to see if this is real or not even somebody to negotiate on the other side. Of course, they're working the the Pakistan angle with the field marshal that he's very, very close to. Some people have called, I think it's been referred to as a prenup. Interesting. ERIC bolling, the markets where the markets because the center of gravity of this war shifted from Tehran as the center of this war. And of course, our military is doing a magnificent job of defanging, declawing. This operation continues every night. They have not backed off that a second. And as the general said, we've got, you know, we've got a ready brigade, ready Brigade from the 82nd. You've got two Marine Expeditionary units, one on the Tripoli, one on the USS Boxer coming from San Diego and Japan. So the Pacific Fleet be in North Arabian Sea. I think they'll be on station by Friday. People are talking about you'll have assets. I think that was a very astute observation that those are people that take and hold. But they're implying that there's even a bigger plan in back of that. Eric, what are global capital markets and particularly commodities like oil telling us, sir Amazing.
Philip Patrick
So when the kind of deal, the five day pause leaked, oil markets started to move down last night into the night, into the morning. We got as low as $6 lower a barrel. That's a massive move over the course of a few hours. And then this was very interesting, this headline that came out this morning, Iran saying no deal, like literally their words were no deal went from down 6 to down about $3 a barrel. That's a $4 trillion market that you're moving in 60 to 90 seconds. Huge, huge. So the markets are very, very jittery on every news headline that's relevant because far as the, you know, the, the Iranian state, they don't call it the state news agency, but state news agency. They're working the American refs and I call them working. The rest I call American refs being, meaning they're working the American people because they know that anything they say can jack oil prices up. And it's falling into, you know, like we've said, the, the administration's Achilles is higher oil prices. Going into a midterm election. The dcc, this is really interesting, Steve, I don't know if you saw this. Yesterday, the DCCC deployed a massive ad campaign against Republicans and Trump specifically around gas prices. Remember during the Biden administration when gas prices rose to $5 a gallon, highest on record. Remember you used to see those little, on gas pumps around the country, those little stickers placed next to the price and it was Biden's picture with a finger pointing to the gas price saying I did that. DCC is doing the same thing now they're using Trump and D.C. republicans and they're saying I did that. They're pointing to the same campaign. So they, the DCC realizes that the Achilles is, this is a gas price. The Iranians realize that the Achilles is, is the gas price. And so any little kind of comment out of the Iranians is jacking up oil prices. I think that dovetails with something that you and I talked about weeks ago where we said this. These Middle Eastern countries are saying they're, they're pro Trump and they're supporting Trump and they want a higher oil price. If you need more evidence of that, look no further than the Saudis yesterday, confirming what we talked about weeks ago where they came out and said, you know what, Trump, we really want you to finish the job. We don't want the job half done. You know what that means? They want this to continue on going forward, longer and higher prices. Because like I said, the, all those Middle Eastern oil producing countries are benefiting greatly from this war dividend.
Steve Bannon
They're playing the roughs. That's the media. Because remember, you do have people just trying to hedge, trying to think this thing through. What's going to happen. You also have a lot of speculators now. You got guys jumping in these poly markets, you got people jumping in more on the speculative side. But the question is going to be, is there really anybody on the other end? There are elements. And always keep in mind, President Trump has shattered what was the senior command of the Revolutionary Guard in the mullahs. Right. All the way up to the ayatollah. There are competing factions in the regime of that. Like they're competing factions. You got Lindsey Graham on one hand, right. And you have more moderate voices on the other. You got Lindsey Graham going on Fox every night and cheerleading for a ground invasion of Tehran, kind of the Greeks as Xenophons, the march up country. That's what he wants immediately. But you got it even more so there, Eric. So they're putting out videos of saying, oh, Trump's talking to himself and will never concede, and the media picks it up. You've got others, particularly other nations like Turkey and Pakistan that are trying to be intermediaries here. So as you sit there as a trader, because President Trump is very attuned to markets, particularly the fact of this commodity market that is oil underpins. I mean, what have we said on here a million times In President Trump's first term, in the run up to 2020, even in the 16 campaign, 2020, his magnificent economic recovery that came to fruition in 2019, what he's talking about here, the entire Trump economic plan, all of it. When you talk about the cuts and what you're doing on, you know, supply side, tax cuts and tariffs and bringing manufacturing back, all of it from the very first time that Trump started to run. The underpinning and foundational element of Trump economics is, wait for it, full spectrum energy dominance. Right? Not, not that inner, not energy independence. Remember, he didn't want energy dominance. And that's driven, as you know, Eric, by, you know, $40 barrel oil, $50 barrel of oil. Right. He always understood, he's got these videos now, him talking about the Persian Gulf back in the 1980s and 1990s. He's always understood how important this is. Given that, given that the fact that the commander in chief and the lead negotiators very sensitive to this, particularly in his current economic program, which he's turning around a disaster that he inherited. What do you think markets are telling him, sir?
Philip Patrick
Well, a couple of things. First of all, to understand where oil is going, we have to understand who the players are. The IRGC are the ones this morning who came out and said no deal, which rallied oil prices $3 a barrel in 90 seconds. So are they calling the shots? Is this Mulla infrastructure is the one legged lunatic calling shots? No one knows the short term effects. Oil up, stocks down, oil down, stocks up. Evidenced by today a massive move in the stock market based on the direction of oil and where it was going. So that's the Short term, but Trump knows that's only the short term. The long term is where are gas prices? Because that's what the American people care about. They don't give a flying hoot. What would you know in video stock is they care about what their gas price is now, not next month or next. Right now. And the problem is, it's very cute. These, these acute moving in orders. The, the retailers, gasoline retailers move their prices up immediately when they see the opportunity, when they see a high oil price. When the news is talking about higher oil prices going forward, they move that corner. I guarantee you, if you look on the corner, you're going to see a higher gas price than you saw a week ago or even a day ago, even if oil starts coming down. So they raise them very quickly and they're very slow to move them down. The problem with that is, Steve, is that going into an election, you're going to see higher gas prices. It translates immediately, gas, diesel, jet fuel, immediately into higher inflation. And they know it's a very sensitive topic right now, especially with the way we ripped Biden for his high gas prices and inflation for the past four years prior to Trump 2.0. One last thought very quickly. Mark Thiessen was on Fox. I don't know what you think about that guy. Guy has no business commenting on oil at all. He recommended Trump take Carg Island. Just take it, own it. And he said he will forever own the Iranian oil distribution system. That's bs that is the worst possible. You'll get Marines killed, you get people killed, you'll have oil prices 200 a barrel because the Iranians aren't going to sit back and let the Americans occupy Carg Island. It's just not going to happen. They're, he's unrealistic. So a lot of misinformation, a lot of confusion out there. Again, the, the sooner Trump resolves this, the better. And I hope they're on a path to doing that. I'm not quite sure of it yet.
Steve Bannon
If you, if you look at this, I know you got to bounce. You're going at the CPAC to join our team out there. Everybody's heading out today. Kind of a travel day. Although we are live at 5 o' clock today in CPAC or five for the 5 o' clock show. And I think John Selma is going to do the six. President Trump, though, is in deal mode. There's no doubt about it, right? He's very serious. Talk about the 15 points, the present. But he's, he's, he's searching for a solution here. He's got a, he's got a military solution. Still got the lever. He's got combat troops heading in. He's still got all the firepower. They're rotating in another carrier. I know you got a bounce. You got a minute? What should people look for in the next couple of days as we go up to this other deadline?
Philip Patrick
Well, I think it's both. Positioning both sides. Both sides. So Trump is obviously going to ready the airborne. I'm also hearing that Trump said today or truth last night or this morning that we're going to get Navy escorts into the, into the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible. Meaning likely, meaning within days those will all be relevant. I don't know that we're going to actually see a lot of oil flowing through there. I would, I would hesitate to believe anything the IRGC is putting out as to where the negotiations are. And I think on our side, I think the show of strength is a war wise move showing the Iranians just how, how much worse it could get for them if they don't cut a deal. So deal, deal. Can't happen soon. Another on my plate. I want, I want to see low prices. I want to see a forty dollar barrel of oil again in a 2.25 gallon of gasoline.

now more than ever. Turbulence. Golden day bouncing up but had the worst week I think in at least a decade last week. Need to talk to Philip Patrick and the team and talk to him today. Philip Patrick is going to be out at CPAC with us. End of the Dollar Empire now a Patriot's edition bound actually with amazing graphics. You will love this. I'm bringing some signed copies, like 50 signed copies of CPAC to give them out to the Warren Posse for free. Make sure you go to birchgold birchgold.com, promo code Bannon end of the dollar empire. Go there today. Most importantly make contact with Philip Patrick and his team to make sure that they walk you through everything. Gold as a hedge and gold maybe as a new even financial asset like the 19th century given what's happening throughout the world. Kobayasi as it has a piece of down off I've put it up yet on getter but the demand from central banks for gold etc. So make sure you read it. Get all the information. Immerse yourself in information. Speaking of that all family pharmacy we had the CEO on yesterday. Another huge turnout of the war on posse. You don't have, you can't have. Let me say it differently. Medical freedom until you have the freedom to talk to a pharmacist that will listen or a licensed physician that will listen and talk to you and talk through with you the medicines that you need. That's what all family pharmacy is about is to break the stranglehold. Not just simply a big pharma, that's a whole different fight this is the stranglehold that the distribution system of these drugstore chains and the McKesson's of the world, the middlemen, have on you. AllFamilyPharmacy.com, bannon. It's a 25%, I think, discount for the rest of the week. Go check it out. 25% off. But talk to their professionals, their customer service reps that make the difference. That's why go there and make sure that you tell them that you're from the war room. AllFamilyPharmacy.com promo code Bannon. And it's 25. So go check it out. Sam Fadis. You know the neighborhood. They have shattered the command and control. The command and control. And remember, the Israelis did more of kind of the decapitation move. The Americans focused on more the technological command and control. But it's pretty evident. And the president reiterates this. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs reiterates this. The CENTCOM reiterates this. We have to a degree, shattered their traditional Ayatollah Mullah Revolutionary Guard, I think somebody told me, down to the brigade level. And so President Trump, the first issue he's got to deal with is like, who's even in charge of to make a deal with. And that's why the Pakistani field, you know the Pakistanis very well. Lovely, lovely, lovely folks. The Pakistani, you know, field marshal, who is very close to President Trump, has offered up and offered to them to actually host this. You've got the Arab Council, the Gulf Council, their guys have come together and said, we want to help, we want to figure something out. And you've got the Turks. So from an intelligence point of view, how are they framing this with the President now? And how are they getting this type of operational intelligence to basically give the commander in chief, who is open to do a deal with someone if it makes sense, and if he achieves his objectives, which are the non actual kinetic objectives, how do they frame this for him of exactly who in the hell he should be talking to to get a deal that can actually be executed inside Iran? Sir?
Sam Faddis
Well, look, I think you put your finger on something really, really important. The Iranians are continuing to resist by moving to this completely decentralized command system where all the pieces just keep fighting. Okay, but now you want them to act as a unified whole and you want somebody to be able to speak for the government. Not only is it hard to figure out who that is, but there may not in fact be agreement inside Iran on who that is. It's not Just like we can't figure it out. They don't know either. And then, of course, you've laid out the Turks, the Pakistanis. I mean, all of these people have their own interests and have a history of being incredibly duplicitous with us saying one thing very, very clearly.
Steve Bannon
Hang on, hang on, hang on. I want to take a second. I want to take a second because this area was your beat for many decades. I want to go into this because right now they've got one element of the Revolutionary Guard, and I don't know how big the settlement is. They say they talk for all of them. But it's interesting. They're kind of Trumpian to a degree. They're coming back to President Trump and go, get out of here.
Philip Patrick
Who are you?
Steve Bannon
You know, you've already lost this. You know, I mean, it's interesting how they're doing it, but on the duplicity side, because this is why we have bolling on here, one of his most brilliant insights is say, hey, look, don't think these guys that are begging for us to start escorting, destroy getting destroyers and escorting things through there, don't think they're actually pulling for you. Their business models don't work at Trump's full spectrum energy dominance with a four handle in front of this. And of course, there's some folks in West Texas not crazy about $40 oil either. But with Trump's idea of full spectrum energy dominance, there's not a guy in the Persian Gulf that signed up for that. They love it at a buck 40, right? At $140. And the Turks just take a second at how duplicitous they've been with us in the region overall for many, many, many decades, sir.
Sam Faddis
Look, all of these guys are going to lie to your face. Let's just be clear, right? They've all got their own interests. They're all going to sit down and swear loyalty and tell you that they're your brother and all of this, and we're going to drink a lot of tea and they're going to tell us all kinds of wonderful things and then they're going to walk right out. They're going to walk right out of the room and do exactly the opposite. It's not a question of them reneging on the agreement. The agreement actually means nothing at all to them. Right? We have this weird American sense that, okay, we had a negotiation, we had a deal, that means we actually agreed and intend to follow through on it. That is not the norm in the Middle East. The norm in the Middle east is we talked and swore that we were each other's brothers. And then you stabbed me in the back the second I walk out the door. I mean, I've sat in meetings with the Pakistanis where we were going to go raid a terrorist safe house. By the time we got to the terrorist safe house, the same guys we had just talked to had called the guys in the safe house and told them to get out of Dodge. Right? That's. That is the norm. So you have to. You have to understand that. It doesn't mean you have to be taken advantage of, but you have to force them to come to an agreement. You have to. It's you. You can't rely upon their word. You have to rely upon the fact that you put them in a position where they don't have any choice. One of the critical issues, obviously here is your human intelligence. When you're sitting in the room with the sheikh and the sheikh is telling you one thing, what you really need is the guy in the sheik's office who tells you what was the meeting that they had before they came in the room with you, what he's really saying, what he really intends to do. And then, of course, the same guy can tell you afterward what they did. That comes down to human intel. You know, you can't see that with a satellite. You're probably not going to pick that up in an intercept because the sheik's not so stupid. He's talking over a phone about it. And, I mean, you know my position on that. Our human intelligence is really, really weak. We don't have the guys we need inside there telling us, okay, great, this is what he's going to say, and this is what's really happening behind it. So you're in a little bit of a minefield, and you're in the dark.
Steve Bannon
You are. You would counsel. I don't want to put words in your mouth, but let me just respond to this. You would counsel, then the president if you were advising him now, and all these different perturbations of how to actually see if we can't figure something out here now that the president feels he's completed or near completion some of the most important military objectives of this military operation. You would counsel him to say, yeah, let's get the couple of these Marine Expeditionary Units in place, on station in the North Arabian Sea or Gulf of Oman. Let's. Let's get a brigade of the 82nd Airborne, and maybe we bring in a couple of three other assets. Because the only Thing they're going to respond to is the hammer. If we, if they, if they know we got the hammer and we're prepared to use the hammer, whatever that is. And I'm far from advocating ground troops, but whatever that hammer is, that's the way. It's like a come along. That's, that's the way you get their attention and keep them to basically maybe get to a position of a deal. Identify first off who can actually make a deal, get to a deal and then make sure that you have something that you can actually execute upon. Sir,
Sam Faddis
I would, I would recommend all of those things. Although, like you, my strong preference would be that we not go down this road to use ground troops. There are lots of other levers we have. Let's keep in mind the, whether we take Cargill and, or don't take Car guy on the Iranians will never export another barrel of oil as long as the United States Navy sits outside the Gulf of Hormuz. They can run around up in the Persian Gulf all they want. They're not going anywhere. So we can counsel them and look, and they effectively cannot challenge us in the high seas. So that's baseline. But listen, I mean, you know, I don't want to make this sound like I'm the only guy who's ever done this, but like in the run up to the Iraq War when we were leaning on guys to pick a side or the other at some point in those negotiations, talking to Lieutenant General, whoever it is, we're saying, look, we're prepared to do the following for you, hand you X number of dollars and so forth. And the other side of the coin is, General, if you don't come over to our side, we're also prepared to put a JDAM through the building and have it where you work and have it explode on your desk. So let's pick a side here. I mean, at some point, you have to have that hammer in your hand. You run around the Middle east just asking people to be nice to you and is a losing proposition that you will just be eaten alive over there.
Steve Bannon
Speaking of being nice to you, the thing I've advocated for you can blockade, quarantine. There's no reason for the CCP to get, there's no reason for them to get any cash. And Sam's 100% correct just in the Gulf of Oman or even pull it back to the North Arabian Sea. The United States Navy can stop, can quarantine just like they were doing in Venezuela. You can stop any vessel coming out there and either turn it around or just seize it. Hey, guess what? This is ours. Crew's under arrest. Going to put a couple of warrant officers on here as the commanding officers and you're going to pull it over here. Drop anchor. This is ours.
Sam Faddis
Okay.
Steve Bannon
Also in addition and I'd love your comments, we're going to hold you to the break. Sam. Dubai, everybody's running around influencers in Dubai and you get them all. They run around in bikinis and it's everybody in the world. It's the greatest place in the world and all these westerners want to buy places. Dubai, man, it's the new south. Switzerland is so fantastic. Maybe not that fantastic this week, but it's a pirate cove. It's like Tortuga was turned when, when the pirates, when the pirates down the Caribbean. Not the movie but the pirate, you know, Captain Morgan and those guys told the most powerful instrument in the world, the world Navy. Hey, put it where the sun don't shine. They had a place to have it monetize everything they stole. Right. That was in Tortuga. Dubai is nothing but a modern Tortuga. And people should know our greatest ally or the guy that really steps up and punches above his weight has always been mbz, right? He's kind of a warrior anyway, one of these desert warriors. He's always been the guy and he's, I think personally, I think people, it's pretty common knowledge President Trump likes the cut of his jib and he's over. But they also sell us out all the time. I think, you know, they hit a, they were cutting a deal for the Chinese Communist Party have a port there. But I digress. But he's kind of in charge now of all that Emirates, they haven't cut the money off. They're threatening that. But Iran still does all their money laundering and gets their cash from the behind the scenes sanctions through Dubai and through the banks that the Arabs control these kind of Islamic financial institutions. Sam, I'm going to hold you to come back but my point is there's so many different elements and touch points that if we're serious we can clamp down on these guys and actually force use them as a forcing function. First off, their money and their oil because their oil is just what they're going to turn to cash. You could squeeze them so hard that you force to the top the cream of the crap. And then President Trump knows who he has to deal with. Short break fattest on the other side. Spread the word all through Hong Kong. We will fight till they're all gone. We rejoice when they're no more. Let's take down the CCP war room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Ban. Okay, 845 war room. Write that down. Chapters, if you find Medicare confusing, of course you do. Nobody can understand this and have these consultants, advisors, they're actually working for the insurance company. It's $100 billion of fees a year. That's why it's one of the reasons so confusing. They want to be confusing. Call Chapters right now. New company based on data that looks at every different alternative you've gotten. We already know the War and Posse. We just started with these folks a couple weeks ago or last week. Overwhelming response from the War Room posse. It's totally free, so you go and check it out, see what they can do for you. I think on average, they're saving people about a thousand eleven hundred bucks. Chapters eight, four, five, War Room. Talk to one of their advisors right now. Even if you've already signed up for a plan, if you think you're wrapped around the axle, you are not. Call chapters today. 8, 4, 5, war room. Check it out, see what you think. The head of the company started the company, was a data guy, tech guy. Started the company because his mom hired one of these consultants and got into one of these plans that hey, keeps ratcheting up and nothing you can do about it. And she was pulling her hair out, turned to her beloved son, guess what? He started a company. And the calvary arrived. 845 War Room. Do it today. Check that out. Totally free. Sam Faddis, I think there's breaking news now coming across the wire and Iran rejects US war proposal. Iran sets five strict conditions. No talks unless all full ceasefire, no future war guarantees, reparations demanded. End to all regional conflicts. Control over Strait of Hormuz. We say in the deal business, folks, the bid in the ask, there's a little gap. I don't even know if these guys are legit, but it is coming across the wire. It may be that mouthy young guy that came on, on the video and who knows if he's got any stroke. But you can see From President Trump's 15 points to what they're talking about because that is like this war never took place. Sam, your thoughts, sir?
Sam Faddis
Tell him that they're all unacceptable and they can go to hell. I mean, look, I, I think it's pretty clear that I have reservations about how we got to this point in time, but that does. That's fine. Okay, that's water over the dam. We're here. We're in this conflict. And we cannot possibly conclude this conflict by effectively surrendering to the Iranians and giving in to these absurd demands. So, I mean, you know, what they need to hear is that we're not even dignified. We're not talking about that. We're not negotiating from that position. Grow up, get a grip. You know, if. If we have to dig in for the long haul and blockade you and seal you off and, and crush you over time, then that's what'll happen. That's. We are not ending this war under those terms. We're not even talking about those terms.
Steve Bannon
This is, I think, so important. Let's put aside and put a pin in how we got here. We keep saying this. We're in it now. You have young American men and women. You got two Marine Expeditionary units, and you got a. You got the ready response brigade at the beginning of potential combat troops. You've got kids on those ships in the airplane and the airmen. What they're doing is amazing. We already lost a tanker. You could lose a lot more kids. We got to win this thing. Victory is. There's no substitute for victory. And look, even with an off ramp, you got to get the demands that you're demanding that you started this with on your objectives. And so this is going to be as bad a high pressure as can, because the market's going to go crazy, right? There's going to have an economic impact. You don't really have any allies over there. You got Israel, our world's greatest ally is now getting ready for a major combat. Major, major combat. You know, Netanyahu sees this, as I say, the last. The last reel of Godfather 1, right where he's taking them all out. They're getting ready to go pound Lebanon for a minute. He's not exactly listening up to, hey, we'd like to tone this thing down. Right now, he's revving up. And then you don't have. There's nobody in the Gulf that is your ally. Turkey's not your ally. The Pakistanis are not your ally. These are not good people. And particularly the Darwinian. You know, the good people ain't at the top because they get to the top. You've got to be a killer. I say that metaphorically, as President Trump would say. So we're in it now, and it's only going to get nastier and gnarlier. And I think if you got the president's back, you're going to have to have his back. And Put your trust in him. And that's why I say he's got the weight of the world on his shoulders right now. And it's going to get even tougher as we grind through it. And you can see what just happened in the last 48 hours. That's why our magnificent military, they're in harm's way. And look, these kids signed up for it. So it's not like they're. They're not whining. They said, this is what we signed up to do. We're here to do it. And they will execute magnificently as they have always done. Sam Faddis, any closing observations before I let you punch?
Sam Faddis
No, I agree wholeheartedly. Look, you're. People confuse the concept of ally with somehow or another. That means our interests are perfectly aligned, that at all times you can completely trust these guys. I mean, come on, we're not talking about family, man. We're talking about. We have some interests that align in some places, some of the time. They will also stab you in the back. So you better look out for yourself. You can. You cannot survive in the Middle east on trust. There is no such concept.
Steve Bannon
Sam, where do people go to get your unsubstack? Get that great magazine you put up up in these great articles you put up

Thank you, sir. Why do we start with bowling? And Sam Fatis fattest spent his career over there in service to his nation. Bowling's been in the pits. Was a trader every day for, I think, 12, 14 years. That's the kind of reality you need, this audience needs as you think it through. I'm not sitting here saying, you got to think it one way or the other. Understand? We're in it. Now, what is that Great scene in 12 o' clock high when Gregory Peck is the general that replaces the original general who really loved his troops and the troops loved him. He gets up there and says, hey, I'm not here to hear your. This is the beginning days of World War II. He says, I'm not here to listen to you. Why we fight, that's not our business. I'm here to tell you we're in this fight and we gotta win it. That's all I'm interested in. There is no substitute for victory as we're in it now. Just understand, it's gonna get really, really, really ugly. Just anybody, anybody telling you otherwise. All these people going fox, blowing smoke up you, they ain't out on that front line. And they ain't got kids out there either. They have no skin in the game. Zero. Okay, stick around. Second hour of the war room is just around the corner. 120 seconds away. Back in a moment. You know you still need help from the boss.
Eric Bolling
We need help from the boss.
Podcast: Real America’s Voice | Host: Steve Bannon | Date: March 25, 2026
This episode of “The War Room” dives deep into the escalating conflict between the United States and Iran, examining military deployments, diplomatic maneuvers, market reactions, and the tangled web of alliances in the Middle East. Steve Bannon and a panel of analysts and commentators, including Eric Bolling, Philip Patrick, Sam Faddis, and multiple subject-matter experts, dissect the latest updates on troop movements, President Trump’s 15-point peace proposal, the role of global commodity markets (especially oil), and the realities and limitations facing U.S. foreign policy.
“The 82nd deploys worldwide…they parachute in somewhere conducting an airborne assault to seize key terrain… But they can’t do a whole lot more until more forces come in.” – Military Expert (15:35)
“Tell them that they’re all unacceptable and they can go to hell…We cannot possibly conclude this conflict by effectively surrendering to the Iranians and giving in to these absurd demands.” – Sam Faddis (54:48)
“We actually don’t have affirmative congressional authority to be engaging in this war. Only Congress has the power to declare war, and they haven’t here.” – Cancer Survivor / Work Advocate (09:57)
“He was bluffing. They called his bluff and he backed down…This is complete strategic incoherence.” – Political Commentator (07:45)
“If they open up to the world, that’s actually an existential threat to them…They fear normalization with the United States more than they fear conflict.” – Middle East Expert (13:05)
“Their business models don’t work at Trump’s full spectrum energy dominance with a four handle in front of this…Not a guy in the Persian Gulf signed up for that. They love it at $140.” – Steve Bannon (43:13)
“Retailers move their prices up immediately when they see a high oil price…you’re going to see higher gas prices. It translates immediately…into higher inflation.” – Philip Patrick (29:25)
“The only thing they’re going to respond to is the hammer. Whatever that hammer is, that’s the way you get their attention and keep them…” – Steve Bannon (46:53)
“All of these guys are going to lie to your face. Let’s just be clear…You have to force them to come to an agreement. You have to rely on putting them in a position where they don’t have any choice.” – Sam Faddis (44:28)
“You cannot survive in the Middle East on trust. There is no such concept.” – Sam Faddis (57:56)
“We’re in it now, and it’s only going to get nastier and gnarlier…It’s going to get even tougher as we grind through it.” – Steve Bannon (55:43)

On the Legitimacy of U.S. Military Actions:
“Only Congress has the power to declare war, and they haven’t here.” – Cancer Survivor / Work Advocate (09:57)
On Middle Eastern Allies:
“All of these guys are going to lie to your face. Let’s just be clear…We have this weird American sense that an agreement actually means something over there. It doesn’t.” – Sam Faddis (44:28)
On Victory and Resolve:
“There is no substitute for victory as we’re in it now. Just understand, it’s gonna get really, really, really ugly.” – Steve Bannon (58:27)
On Market Vulnerability:
“Oil up, stocks down, oil down, stocks up. Evidence by today…The sooner Trump resolves this, the better. And I hope they’re on a path to doing that.” – Philip Patrick (29:25)
This episode paints a grim, unsparing picture of U.S.–Iran relations in crisis, with Bannon and his guests forcefully arguing that victory is the only option. The discussion features hard-edged skepticism of allies, concerns about strategic drift, and cynicism about the realpolitik of Middle Eastern diplomacy. Meanwhile, economic pressures and troop deployments intensify. The panel’s advice for leadership: ignore wishful thinking, maintain pressure, and never trust others to do America’s work for it.
For listeners seeking granular, on-the-ground insights about the war, U.S. strategy, international double-dealing, and the real-time consequences for American politics, security, and markets, this “War Room” episode delivers trademark intensity and detail.
