for healing, learn more, and sign the pledge@workingwithcancerpledge.com just ahead on American Sunrise, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signals a major shift. Why Israel may want to phase out U.S. military aid and how soon could that happen? Plus, President Trump rejects Iran's response to a U. S Backed ceasefire deal. What was in that proposal? What could it mean for the region? Also, later, while moms matter more than ever in America, from families to the workforce, their impact is everywhere. We have those stories. So much more. Moore's American Sunrise starts right now.
David Brody
Good morning, America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you. Politics.

I'm terrence. And I'm Dr. Gina. Good morning, everybody. I am Dr. Gina. We are with you from the Palm Beaches. Let's bring in Emily Finn. She's here with me in West Palm. And David Brody is in Washington, D.C. good morning to both of you.
Emily Finn
Good morning, Gina.
David Brody
Good morning, ladies.
Emily Finn
And happy belated Mother's Day to you, Gina.
Dr. Gina
Thank you. Thank you, everybody. Have a good Mother's Day. I trust David Brody. Did you have a good Mother's Day?
David Brody
Well, thank you for asking if I had a good Mother's Day. I had a great check back with me in June when it's Father's Day. But no, my mother, my wife had a wonderful Mother's Day. And so we're happy, you know, anytime the whole family's around. That's the key for her. And I know that's for you as well, Gina.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, yeah, it was a good one.
David Brody
All right, let's talk about some other stuff that has nothing to do with Mother's Day. And it's Benjamin Netanyahu. That's the weirdest transition in TV transition history. From Mother's Day to Netanyahu. He was sat down with 60 minutes. He said the Iran war has accomplished a lot, but the mission's not over yet is what he said. Here's part of the interview.
Cancer Survivor
Have a look.
Dr. Gina
Is the war with Iran over?
Cliff May
And if it isn't, who will decide when it is?
Benjamin Netanyahu
I think it accomplished a great deal, but it's not over because there's still nuclear material, enriched uranium that has to be taken out of Iran. There's still enrichment sites that have to be dismantled. There are still proxies that Iran supports. There are ballistic missiles that they still want to produce. Now, we've degraded a lot of it, but all of that is still there, and there's work to be done.
Cliff May
How do you envision the highly enriched
Dr. Gina
uranium will be removed from Iran?
Benjamin Netanyahu
You go in and you take it out.
Dr. Gina
With what? Special forces from Israel, Special forces from the United States.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Well, I'm not going to talk about military means, but the president, what President Trump has said to me, I want to go in there and I think it can be done physically. That's not the problem. If you have an agreement and you go in and you take it out, why not? That's the best way.
David Brody
Gino, your thoughts?
Dr. Gina
Well, a lot on the Internet are saying that that was him prescribing what needs to be done or the conditions of the war ending. Personally, I didn't take it that way. This isn't me taking a side. This is me just saying, that's just not how I heard that. David?
David Brody
Yeah, Emily, what do you think?
Emily Finn
I think that this has been the clear goal the entire time, to make sure that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon and to eliminate all means possible to make that happen. I think he's been pretty clear this whole time, David.
David Brody
Yeah, I agree. Gina. Bible verse time.
Dr. Gina
All right, we'll do it. Let's check out today's Bible verse. It's from John 14:27. Peace, I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Well, as we were discussing, Benjamin Netanyahu says he wants to see his country eventually be independent of the US in terms of military age. Take a look. Do you believe it's time for the state of Israel to re examine and possibly reset its financial relationship to the United States?
Benjamin Netanyahu
Meaning what the United States provides to
Dr. Gina
Israel on an annual basis?
Benjamin Netanyahu
Absolutely. And I've said this to President Trump, I've said it to our own people. Their jaws dropped. But I said, look, what do you mean? What are you saying? I want to draw down to zero the American financial support, the financial component of the military cooperation that we have because we receive $3.8 billion a year. And I think that it's time that we wean ourselves from the remaining military support. Can you give me a timetable? I said, let's start now and do it over the next decade, over the next 10 years. But I want to start now. I don't want to wait for the next Congress. I want to start now. And you know, it could go down very fast.
Dr. Gina
Let's bring in Maryland Congressman Andy Harris. Congressman, there's no doubt there is a large percentage, not just of MAGA and Republicans, but Democrats who would really, truly like to see this happen. Is this a PR stunt or do you believe him when he says this?
Congressman Andy Harris
Look, I think that Israel has developed the capability of making up for those $3.8 billion there just by military sales alone. They can, they can, you know, they don't need American aid anymore over the long term. They've developed weaponry that is valuable that they will honestly be selling to us at some point because it's so advanced.
David Brody
Well, I guess we'll wait and see because I know he says draw down over the next 10 years and that'll be the key. I just think there's a lot of fol in Congress that still will want to not want to continue to fund Israel. We'll wait and see on that. Let's go to Congress. Obviously, Congressman, the USA Today headline says this GOP infighting in Congress Slows Trump's agenda as Midterms loom. Of course, that's the liberal USA Today. What's the scuttlebutt there in Congress? What's happening? What's the big headline coming this week, do you believe from the halls of Congress?
Congressman Andy Harris
Well, look, I think that's wishful thinking on their part. I hope they, they believe that the purpose of a legislature is actually to debate issues and then to come together around them. That's what we did on the farm bill last week. That's what we did on several bills last week. We have the fisa, the Foreign Intelligence Security act we do have to deal with. Next month. We are starting the appropriations process. Again, it's wishful thinking on the liberals part that there's this tremendous infighting in the Republican Party when they should look in the Democrat Party and some of their primaries where their ultra left truly socialist candidates are challenging much more mainstream Democrats.
Emily Finn
Congressman, I want to go back to Iran quickly here and get your take on this headline from npr. It reads, Trump rejects Iran's latest response to US Cease fire proposal. Trump is calling the response unacceptable. What do you think it should look like, the next steps in these negotiations?
Congressman Andy Harris
Well, I think that Justice Mr. Netanyahu suggested that what we have to do is we have to make it very clear that Iran cannot be left with any nuclear capability. And we have to plan for whatever it takes to get again, whether it's the International Atomic Energy Agency or some other outside group to come in and clean up the nuclear material and to remove it, or whether we have to do it, but it has to be done. Iran cannot be left with nuclear capability.
Dr. Gina
So do you think, in your estimation, that we are truly ending the. Near the end of the war? Like, do you have any sort of timeline in mind at this point?
Congressman Andy Harris
No. Look, it's up to Iran. They're losing half a billion dollars a day in oil revenue. There's only so long that they can take that. Their economy is pretty fragile. And I think we will wear them down on that at some point. The world does not want them to have nuclear material, and at some point, they're going to have to give it up in return for reopening their economy, which will be a vibrant economy, because they do have a lot of fossil fuel resources.
David Brody
But if I could be blunt here for a second, you say eventually we'll wear them down. I don't get a sense that we're going to wear them down. I think they fight to the death. They're a death cult. They're radical Shia. They don't care about their people. And so if they die, they go to heaven. The way they see it, which of course, we know, they don't go to heaven. So I guess my question ultimately is, do you think President Trump is trying to provide some sort of off ramp for not just Iran, but for the United States as well? In other words, he sees gas prices, midterms are coming. This is getting. This has gone beyond the four to eight weeks, and we're tidying up and moving on out. It just seems like it's going to continue. You just wonder if there's not a political off ramp that he wants right now.
Congressman Andy Harris
Well, you know, there probably is. The fact of the matter is it's been painful to see the civilized world stand by and let Iran control the Straits of Hormuz. It's an international waterway. We should have had an international coalition insisting that that waterway stay open. But again, we have to go it alone. To, to, to a large extent, there will be pressure to open the Straits of Hormuz, but again, the president cannot allow nuclear capability to remain in the hands of, of Iran, and perhaps that's the off ramp. At some point, some deal narrowed to the nuclear capability in exchange for opening the straits.
Emily Finn
Congressman, I do want to completely switch gears here for a second with you. I'm not sure if you saw the files that the Department of War released about UAPS late last week. Now, some people are calling this a distraction from other things that are happening. But I did see Congressman Tim Burchett's comments saying that what we're seeing right now is like a one, but in a couple weeks we're going to be seeing a lot more that's going to frankly blow our minds as Americans. I want to get your take on these files.
Congressman Andy Harris
Well, you know, it's been a long time coming to have them released. I'm not sure why they've been so secretly held. I haven't seen what's been released. I do understand that it'll be dribbled out and I'm waiting to see what experts think. Look, I'm no expert on how these were detected, what the technology is, but at some point there's some people going to have to have a very frank discussion about what we've observed over the past few decades.
Dr. Gina
What do you think is in this second batch, Congressman?
Congressman Andy Harris
Well, I think it ramps up to the things that are hard to explain, much harder to explain. But again, we'll all see it. We'll all look at the evidence, we'll all look at the, at what the Department of War has thought these things were. And we'll have to make up our own minds.
Dr. Gina
All right. Congressman Andrew Harris, thank you so much for being with us. Have a great week.
Congressman Andy Harris
Thank you.
Tracy Anthony
All right.
Dr. Gina

Some top headlines we're keeping an eye on this morning. U.S. health officials are monitoring 17Americans evacuated from the MV Hondias cruise ship after a deadly hantavirus outbreak. One American tested positive for Andas virus, a type of hantavirus, while another is showing mild symptoms. The group was flown from the Canary Islands to Nebraska, where CDC officials are assessing their exposure risk. Health experts say the risk to the general public does remain low, but some passengers could face extended monitoring as investigators track possible exposure and transmission. Meanwhile, President Trump is taking aim at two Supreme Court justices he appointed, Amy Coney Barrett and Neil Gorsuch, after they sided against his administration in a major tariff case. Trump accused some justices of being unpatriotic and disputed loyal and claimed the ruling could force the U.S. to refund about $159 billion. The president also warned the high court could rule against his birthright citizenship order later this year. The comments are sparking new debate over judicial independence and conservative divisions on the Supreme Court. The Justice Department says a massive nationwide crackdown has led to the arrest of more than 350 child sexual abuse offenders. Officials say Operation Iron pursuit involved all 56 FBI field offices and U.S. attorneys offices and resulted in more than 200 child victims being located. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche warned offenders, quote, we are coming for you. The suspects face charges including sex trafficking, kidnapping and child exploitation. All right. We now want to get over to our forecast where Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anth is joining us. Be sure to scan the QR code at the bottom of your screen for the latest from Weather Nation. And be sure to drop your name and city in our various social media chants so you have a chance for a hometown forecast from Tracy this morning. Tracy, I must say here in West Palm, I love sunshine. I love being in the light. But I think you got a story for us That's a little bit too much sunshine.
Tracy Anthony
Yeah. This is up in Alaska. This is the most northern town in Alaska. It's above the Arctic Circle. The sun rose for the last time for 84 days. So they are going to get 84 days of nothing but sunshine here. So it is insane that I couldn't imagine dealing with that. Emily. So you're very right. I love sunshine as well. But I do like when it's rainy sometimes to take naps. I like, you know, when it gets dark earlier because I wake up so early. But look at that. That's going to be that last sunrise. Now back across the lower 48, we did have some strong storms throughout Sunday evening. Alexander, Texas had terrible downpours. We even had hail that was 4 inches in diameter, that softball size hail. Now today we're tracking that severe weather threat across parts of New Orleans. So southern Louisiana, wind will be the big concern there. As for the east coast, it's going to be Wilmington, North Carolina, down through West Palm beach, we could have all threats possible. So wind, hail, and a spin up tornado can't be ruled out. But the tornado potential will remain a little more isolated to the north. But here in Florida, we desperately need the rain from those storms. We do have a handful of fires burning, but the Max Road fire is visible from satellite. You can kind of see it off there in the distance. So smoke going to be impacting areas of south Florida until that front can push on through. But temperatures are in the 90s and that heat index value for Florida, a lot of cities going to be in the triple digits. So very hot, very humid. And then back across the rest of the nation, we are pretty seasonable. But back west, that's where we're talking. Over 60 cities that could be breaking record daytime warm temperatures here over the next couple of days. So, Emily, things are really heating up out west and in Florida.
Emily Finn
Definitely heating up. And Tracy, I gotta clarify here. So I thought the sun was going up and staying up in that Alaska town. You're telling me that they have no sun for how long?
Tracy Anthony
No, it does. It rose for the last time in 84 days. So. Meaning they're gonna continue to see that sun. There's 24 hours of daylight. 24, 7 for 84 days.
Emily Finn
Oh, my gosh. Okay. All right. So you guys, that is just a wild place to be. I'm invested in this community now. If you're there in Alaska, let me know what it's like to actually live there. Tracy, thank you so much for the forecast. We'll see you in the next hour with our lucky hometown forecast selections.
Tracy Anthony
Yep. Don't make sure you drop your hometowns in the chat. And don't forget to download the Weather Nation app for all your latest weather updates.
Emily Finn
Perfect. Thanks so much Tracey. Coming up next, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that Israel's war with Iran has delivered major results, but he says the mission is not finished. So what's left on the table and how far is Israel prepared to go? His warning is next on American Sunrise.

The everglades. There are liberals in those waters. A lot of alligators. Welcome back everybody to American sunrise. All right. President Trump has rejected Iran's latest response to a U. S backed peace proposal, calling it totally unacceptable. The dispute centers on Iran's nuclear program, sanctions, relief and control of the strait of hormuz. Officials warn the collapse and talks could fuel more violence and drive up global oil prices. You think, let's now bring in the founder of the defense of democracies. That would be cliff may. Cliff, the Iranians, I believe what we say in New York is what are they smoking because they want war reparations? Are they out of their mind? Cliff, help me through this. They just, they really want self destruction here. I mean, is this what they're looking for? What do they want here? I'm a little confused.
Cliff May
Well, some of them do want self destruction. If you're talking about the true believers, those who consider themselves jihadis, those who believe, and I'll do this if you want, but I want to be a note who believe that they can bring back the Mahdi who will save civilization through conflict, through bloodshed and through their own martyrdom, There are those who absolutely do want that. And I think general Ahmed Fahidi, the head of the Islamic revolutionary guard, note, it's not the Iranian revolutionary guard, Islam, he's willing to do that. By the way, I should say there are any number of people in this country who are encouraging them, who are saying, look how tough they are.

Trump has lost. This war is lost. We can't do it. They're going to prevail because they're going to stick to it no matter what. So those people are saying, okay, then maybe I will. And good for President Trump that he said that this reason, this offer is unacceptable and I'm not going to do it. The United States can do what is necessary here and it's very, very important for American security in the future.
Emily Finn
I also want to get your take on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's latest interview. He did say that the Iran war has accomplished a lot, but it's not over.

Emily Finn
What is your analysis on Netanyahu's remarks here?
Cliff May
Well, he's correct. And let me explain how. For example, the best scientists would say that before the June 2025, 12 day war, the regime in Iran was perhaps weeks, maybe a few months from having nuclear weapons. They are now set probably two and a half or three years. That's good. That's an achievement. That's not everything. I'm less worried about this enriched re aim under the rubble because in current circumstances, for the regime to retrieve it would be very hard. We'd see it, the Israelis would see it from satellites. That's not it. They have no enrichment ability at the moment, though. They'll build it back if they can. And that's something important to understand. After the 12 day war, a lot of people thought President Trump thought, okay, we whacked them really hard. They won't want to take that again. No, they immediately began enriching building missiles, building drones. I think we underestimated how many missiles and drones we have. You've heard, for example, general Dan Keynes and admiral Cooper say, you know, we got 70% or 80% of their missiles, whatever it is, but that still leaves 30% or 20%. We also, I don't think, understood entirely. Now we do really important drones. Drones can look from the Pentagon perspective like toys in a kiddie war. They're not. You take swarms of drones and you use them against commercial vessels in the strait of Hormuz and what happens? The insurers back in London say we're not insuring and the captains don't sail through. It's easier to close down the strait than I think a lot of people thought when you use stuff like drones. And we need drone and counter drone warfare. By the way, who's the leader in counter drone warfare at this point? The Ukrainians, because they've had to be against the Russian invasion that started in 2022.
Dr. Gina
President Trump and president Xi are from China. Are meeting in Beijing for some high stake talks. Trade, Taiwan, artificial intelligence, also global tensions, including the Iran conflict. Conflict are expected to dominate those discussions. Analysts say major breakthroughs are unlikely, but the meeting could help stabilize U. S China relations. But China's been interesting to watch as this war has sort of played out. Who knows how active of a role they have. But at least according to some, a lot about this war has undermined a lot about what China had on their agenda. How do you see this playing out?
Cliff May
I think it's very important to understand that the communist party of China, Xi Jinping, is in an alliance with the Islamic republic of Iran, obviously also with the neo imperialist regime with Vladimir Putin. They have no limits. They describe it partnership. And also the nuclear armed regime in North Korea. That regime is nuclear armed with increasingly sophisticated missiles because American diplomats, going back to Jimmy, going back to Bill Clinton, failed in their negotiations. They kept saying, we'll give you this, we'll give you that, we'll give you money. And they said, that's great, then we won't develop nuclear weapons. And they did anyway. That was the failure of diplomacy, which a lot of people want a failure of diplomacy all over again. Xi Jinping has provided precursor materials for missiles. They've helped the regime build up. They, we believe they provided targeting information on American troops over there. What would be great is for president Trump to say, let me explain. We are going to take the strait of Hormuz and enforce basic international law, freedom of navigation there no country is going to take that over as their property. Iran is not going to do that. And once we have that, you can be sure that all the oil and gas you need from that region will go freely through that strait because we're protecting it. That we can guarantee you as long as you and I have good relations. And I'm sure we're going to.
David Brody
Cliff, how do you see this in terms of it being a victory for the United States and President Trump coming out of this meeting? In other words, what are the, are the goalposts shifting? What exactly needs to happen for him to come back to America and say, yeah, mission accomplished, we did what we needed to do over there?
Cliff May
Well, President Trump is good at saying mission accomplished.
Trenis Evans
We do.
David Brody
That's true.
Cliff May
No matter what happens. I don't think there's, from what I'm hearing from the White House, they're not raising expectations, usually high. They're going to talk about trade. He's going to try to get him to be helpful with the Strait of Hormuzen with Iran rather than unhelpful. He's going to say, listen, we're economically strangling this regime. Right Now. They're losing 400 to $500 million a day. They're going to pretty soon have no money to pay soldiers to pay the Basiji thugs who kill protesters. Remember that in January, 30 to 40,000 innocent dissidents, protesters, opposition were slaughtered. That's a huge number of people don't get, don't have that through their head. So I think he's even said we're going to strangle this regime. I'm going to go back to hitting this regime in military infrastructure, but maybe personnel. I think I can get down to a level of people who are not so true believers, who are more agnostic. So I'd like you to help me on this and if so, it'll be in your interest. If not, well, then we have a problem.
David Brody
Cliff May, great to have you. You're really smart. You've probably read all those books behind you. So we thank you.
Dr. Gina
Thank you so very much.
Cliff May
You can borrow anything you like, David.
David Brody
Oh, sounds good. I should read. That'd be a good idea. All right, thanks, Cliff. Coming up, mammograms, are there safer alternatives? We're going to break down the facts next on American Sunrise. Stick with us, everybody.

I need to be healthy every day to survive it and go through the next chemo round and the next chemo round. So it's important that work was part of that to keep my mind busy for 8, 9 hours and then I had to go back and face the reality. I had a goal and the goal is to survive.

Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. We're happy you joined us. It is now time for today's Health News, sponsored by the Wellness Company and under the microscope. Today, health experts say some women are exploring alternatives to traditional mammograms for breast screening options like ultrasounds, MRI scans and Thermography are now gaining attention as radiation free or supplemental tools. Doctors emphasize, however, they say that mammograms remain the most proven. Well, okay, at least the most used method for early breast cancer detection. Patients should. Well, I'm just going to say consult your functional holistic health practitioner for the best screening plan. And remember, if you're going to have surgery or something and they tell you that you have to have a mammogram before, ask them, can I have an ultrasound? Can I have something different? Because that radiation does matter a lot. And so I'm really glad that people are waking up to this fact. And I believe that all scanning agencies should have these methods available. People want the radiation bully them. But if they want, if they don't want it, they should have alternatives to it. Are we on the verge of another pandemic? Is the hype real? Should we be worried? Is this just another effort to terrorize Americans before an election? Who can we trust? Well, this is where the Wellness Company comes in. You see and hear from their doctors all the time on this network. You know their products are the gold standard when it comes to keeping you safe and healthy. Mother's Day is great reminder of the important role that mothers play across America. From raising families to balancing careers and caregiving. Mothers remains central to our nation's social and economic life. Experts say strong family support systems, affordable child care, access to health care continue to be major issues for millions of American moms. Those wouldn't be what I would list as American moms problems, but anyway, also many are honoring the sacrifices and daily contributions that moms make at home and also in the workforce. Let's bring in the founder and CEO of Moms for America, Kimberly Fletcher. Kimberly, as we do think about Mother's Day and how motherhood has changed over the decades. I personally am gratified that my children today are talking a much more traditional route than mothers in my generation or mothers to be in my generation. My girlfriends in school were talking about careers. Maybe not all of them opted to go that way, but it was almost a taboo to talk about the joys of just being a wife and a mother. But today that has really changed. Why do you think that is?
Kimberly Fletcher
We learned from our mothers. We saw our grandmothers and mothers in the ER period and the latchkey kid period, and we wanted something more. You can have a career anytime, but there's a time clock when you can have children in a family. And it's much more fulfilling to have children and a family in your later years. And I think as we started to look at our mothers and our grandmothers, we realized that there was something that was lost and we wanted something more. And while the whole world is telling us go and do something different, women are starting. Young women are starting to realize that what they want is to have those children in that family. They can have everything else later.
Dr. Gina
But this calls, Kimberly, for men, young men really, to rise up here. Because if a mom is going to be able to have the liberty to stay home and raise children and be a wife and a mom, that means somebody's got to provide. And the era, era, right in the 1970s, taught our society that women had to work. It had to be that women were in the workforce. This actually decreased our family incomes. This decreased our happiness quotient. This destroyed marriages. This made people more dependent on welfare systems. But, Kimberly, this is asking a lot of young men who've been taught that their value isn't really intrinsic in this culture. So what do we say to them?
Kimberly Fletcher
Well, I think that we. We have realized that what we want is strong men. Even feminists who say they don't want a strong man who's going to be a protector and a provider, and you could be working together side by side, you can work outside the home. It's not about whether or not you have a job outside the home. It's the fact that the job inside the home, for women particularly, is innate. It's a part of our DNA. And men are going to need to start to step up more. But really, that's really the feminist movement's fault, too. We've emasculated men. We've told them that we don't want strong men. We don't want them to be those rugged men who are taking care and providing. But in actuality, we do. And I think right now, moms are starting to realize, and my children, as they're raising their children, are raising boys to be strong men. And we need more men in our family's lives to raise those men and to be those protectors for those girls because they're going to be looking to their father as an example of who they're looking for and a mate. And that whole entire traditional family set that up. And it worked for thousands and thousands of years. And then Suddenly in the 1960s, everybody said, Nope, let's do something different. Well, now people are realizing that they want to go back to the something that really made a difference and held a family together and prospered societies.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, well, and we need those birth rate numbers up and all the rest. So it is kind of exciting. And it's been just almost, I don't know, amusing to watch my children really come full circle on this from being little kids and thinking college was important, all this. Now they're like they want young marriage. All the things Charlie Kirk talked about. I think Charlie played a big role in this, but I know Moms for America has played a massive role in it as well, and especially in your support of mothers. I can't say enough good about the organization that you lead. Kimberly, what's on the horizon?
Kimberly Fletcher
Well, we are doing the America US250 tour, going to all 50 states to help families realize, kids especially what America is about, why it's worth fighting for. That's one of the big things we're working on this year. And of course, mom vote, because while moms are incredibly important in our homes and our communities, we're also incredibly important in the nation and our vote matters. So we are encouraging moms to realize that if you want things to continue to go in the right direction for families and for freedom, you need to go out and vote your values. So we're focusing on that this year.
Dr. Gina
Well, you guys do a phenomenal job. I love your whole team, as you know, and it's always an honor to get to be part part of your events when you decide to invite me in. And I appreciate you coming on the show this morning. Great to have you and God bless you and happy Mother's Day. Kimberly Fletcher and all the moms for America, thank you.
Kimberly Fletcher
Happy Mother's Day.
Dr. Gina
Thank you. All right, listen, you guys. Coming up, Bill Maher says Democrats have made making money evil. How are Americans reacting? We're going to assess that. Next on American.

And today we are discussing Bill Maher who says Democrats have, quote, made making money evil. Take a look at this.
David Brody
I guess the question I'm asking is
Dr. Gina
for the party that's always talking about money and have kind of made making money.
Benjamin Netanyahu
Now I do believe that there should be an upper number that we tax on that.
Dr. Gina
You can't have more money than you know.
David Brody
Some of these people have over $500 billion.
Benjamin Netanyahu
That's crazy.
David Brody
But I am the farthest thing from a socialist. I don't.
Dr. Gina
I think making money is good.
David Brody
Wanting to be rich is good.
Benjamin Netanyahu
That's what part of what makes America America.
David Brody
We conform to human nature, which is greedy. But you can't have it both ways.
Emily Finn
Let's now bring in Dr. Gina and David. Dr. Gina, want to get your thoughts first on this. The more and more I hear from Bill Maher, the more and more he's making sense. There's a whole lot of common sense from this guy.
Dr. Gina
It kind of makes you worry about yourself a little bit, doesn't it, Emily? You're like, wait a minute, I'm agreeing with Bill Maher a lot these days. You know, we are in a funny time in our politics. I don't know that I've ever seen anything quite like where we are like people that I just unequivocally, for decades never agreed with on anything. And now I'm like, wait a minute, that actually makes sense. But I think it proves for those of us that are experiencing this weirdness that we're listening, that we're listening, and that not just we're listening, but people like Bill Maher are actually paying attention and listening, that we've gotten outside somehow, by the grace of God, outside of our tribalism, at least enough to hear each other and agree upon what we agree on. DAVID and isn't this what we've always said, this is what civil disorders course looks like. When you can take somebody that you fundamentally disagree with as much as we fundamentally disagree with Bill Maher, and you can find the areas where you connect, you can say, hey, here is what we can improve about the way things are done in America for our children.
David Brody
David I think you're absolutely right. And it kind of goes to what President Trump has always talked about, which is this revolution of common sense. And, you know, common sense goes past party lines, right? It goes. It's not about ideology at some point, it's just about your brain functioning at a normal level and just going, yeah, that actually kind of makes sense. And even some liberals like Bill Maher will realize that, wait a minute, what he's saying makes sense. So I think that's a big part of it. And that's why, you know, President Trump appealed to different types of demographics in 2024 and in 2020 and 2016 as well, because he was going into that common sense area. You know, as for liberals, Emily, you know, hypocrisy and liberals go hand in hand. I mean, these are the same folks say, don't build a wall, but they have walls around their house. These are the same people that, you know, talk about climate change and then get on their private jet and you just go down the list.
Dr. Gina
They say save the children, but they love abortion. Yeah, right.
David Brody
School choice. I mean, we can go down, right? School choice. They're against school choice, but they're going to put their kids in the wonderful little whatever they want to do. They're cushy little intellect, intellectual. Excuse me, they're cushy little rich, rich schools, but they're against school choice. So, I mean, this is what the liberals do for a living. And they're good at it. They're very good at it.
Emily Finn
The left. The list really does go on and on for the left, David. The hypocrisy is just so blatant. And I will say I think we're seeing a shift among Gen Z. I'm an elder Gen Z. Right. I was born in 97, so I, like, just missed the deadline. But I do see the younger People in this generation here with me that are seeing through all of this hypocrisy. And I think that social media really has opened the eyes of a lot of young people. I give Elon Musk a lot of credit for this. I always will. What he did to X really changed a generation. And I think that translated to the 2024 election that obviously helped Donald Trump a lot to get elected. And I think it's going to be so interesting to see if that continues to play out during the midterms and in the 2026 presidential election election as well, because Gen Z obviously is the future. And if they are already shifting towards the right due to this hypocrisy, the left has a serious problem because their messaging, their policies over the last God decades has literally been based off of, off of lies and off of hypocrisy. GINA so Gen Z is going to be the answer to all of this, I think.
Dr. Gina
Well, I hope so. I mean, every generation has the burden of either being the answer being the problem. And so Gen Z is going to have to make that decision. I do think that the return to church, the return to marriage, the return to family, the return to wanting to have babies, the kinds of things that God just naturally designed us to do. His order going back to that is really a hearkening and sort of something that is long overdue. And hopefully Gen Z can do some repairing, but they're going to have to focus really hard not to screw up the next generation because that's always the risk from generation to generation is that we get complacent or we get set in our ways and we stop listening or that some technology changes how we intended for things to go with our children. So that's always the challenge each generation.
Emily Finn
EMILY yeah, amen to that. GINA it really does start in the church. And coming up, Gen Z is flocking to the pews. What's driving this new wave of faith? We are digging into it next on American Sunrise. You don't want to miss it.
David Brody
Bless the usa.
Benjamin Netanyahu
In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It is time now for our moment of faith, brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible in focus. Today, Gen Z is showing renewed interest in the Catholic Church, especially in New York City. Young adults are filling masses, joining youth groups and attending social events like pizza to pews. Recent surveys suggest church attendance among younger Christians has risen sharply since 2020 and many seek community, tradition and purpose in an increasingly digital world. Let's now bring in the leader of Alex McFarlane Ministries, Dr. Alex McFarland. Thank you so much for being with us this morning. This is a topic that I am so excited about, so fired up about, especially this pizza depews group in New York City. So cool to see. I want to expand that mission down to West Palm as well. Talk to us. What do you think is driving this among Gen Z to come back to church and come back to Jesus?
O
Well, good morning. Thanks for having me. This is very exciting. Yes. All across the nation, Protestant, Catholic churches of, of all strata, rural and urban, are experiencing an influx of young people coming to church. And 42% of young adult males say that religion, and by that they mean Christianity, is quote, very important in their lives. So this is a great thing. I mean, you know, people are seeking truth, people want to be connected to God, connected to each other. But the main thing that I want to say that I, I truly believe the Lord is moving, the Holy Spirit is moving in America and the lives being touched are young people.
Emily Finn
It really is. You know, I just want to bring this up quickly. The Department of War released these UAP files, right? Aliens, all this stuff that's supernatural. But the thing that I was seeing on social media is people talking about maybe this is angels. You really see faith coming to the forefront in all conversations, even the stuff that you wouldn't even think talk to us about this. How can we walk with faith in our everyday life, even with things that seem unexplainable, seem like things that we can't understand?
O
Well, you know, the human heart is designed to seek God and to know God. I mean, our creator, Almighty God, made us to have a relationship with him. And we have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who paid our sin debt on the cross. And the B roll there is so perfect. Jesus carried that cross up Calvary's mountain, paid our sin debt, and by putting our faith in Christ, our sins are forgiven. And that's the default position of the human heart. And you know, with all the news about aliens and things like that, I really do believe some of what are called UFOs really have a supernatural origin. I think as we get near and near the return of Christ, the end of time, there's going to be more and more supernatural manifestation all around us. Some of which, yes, are angels, the movement of God, some of which are demons, deceptive spirits. But all people of all ages and especially young people, they need that connection to God that comes through Jesus Christ. And I am Thrilled that churches throughout the USA are experiencing an increase in in attendance because people have that desire to know God.
Emily Finn
With only about 10 seconds left here, Alex, what is your message to Gen Z as they try to grow in their faith?
O
Well, God has a plan for you. And don't forget, Jesus is as close by as a prayer. Jesus is as close by to all of us as a simple prayer.
Emily Finn
We so appreciate you being with us this morning. Thank you.
O
God bless you.
Emily Finn
God bless you, too. We'll be back with the second hour of American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick around.
Dr. Gina
All right, coming up in the second hour of American Sunrise this Monday, President Trump rejects the latest peace proposal from Iran, calling the the terms unacceptable. This follows days of hostilities between the United States and Iran. We're going to talk about what comes next. Also, Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is under fire after her name appeared in multiple times in records connecting her to fraudulent pandemic programs. We're going to discuss this later on. Also, new polling data reveals voters in both major parties believe major campaign donors have too much influence on elections and politics in general. We're going to break down those numbers for you coming up in this hour. Those stories, so much more. Second hour of American Sunrise is going to start right now.
David Brody
Good morning, America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking breaking news to share with you. Politics.

Cancer Survivor
Womp, womp.
David Brody
I drew the short straw. Good morning, Dr. G. There's a whole
Dr. Gina
audience out there, David, that's not in West Palm.
David Brody
Oh, good point.
Tracy Anthony
Yeah.
Emily Finn
I think you gotta go blonde and then you come down to West Palm.
Cliff May
Right?
Emily Finn
That's the only thing missing, David.
David Brody
Okay. I will be transitioning in the next hour.
Mark Werner
Thank you.
David Brody
What else should we talk about? Anything else?
Emily Finn
I think we got some weather. Some pretty exciting weather stuff. Should we check in with Tracy Anthony?
David Brody
Why not? I mean, if you'd like to. You're in West Palm. I'm just in D.C. do whatever you want.
Emily Finn
All right, Tracy, I think it is time for some weather. She's here with Our hometown forecast that you all submitted during our last hour. Tracy, what are our hometown forecasts for today?
Tracy Anthony
Hey, we're going to start off in Tallahassee, Florida. This coming in on getter from Katie, 89 degrees today. We're talking record warmth across parts of Florida over the last couple of days. It's going to stay hot and steamy throughout the day today. But we do have that cold front that's moving through that's going to bring in a chance for some isolated rumbles of thunder and could even have some severe potential in the Southeast. I'll kind of break down those areas here, but then we'll clear out and it's going to be a relatively nice end to the week. But here's where those severe weather activities outlooks are for the day today. North Carolina, down through areas like West Palm beach and then back to the west of Tallahassee. So Mobile and New Orleans could have some damaging winds. Now our second stop is Liberty, South Carolina. This is where we do have a chance for some strong and severe thunderstorms and even have the tornado potential. So very important to stay weather aware. Download the Weather Nation app that can help you throughout the day today. 78 degrees, a chance for those showers and storms. And then our temperatures are going to stay pretty comfortable until this weekend. Look at that. We're going to get to 86 and close to 90 degrees by Sunday. So those temperatures are heating up and there's that tornado potential. It stretches from areas like Charleston all the way up into North Carolina. Now our last stop is Rapid City, South Dakota. This coming in from Truth Prevails. I believe this. This was on YouTube, 91 degrees today. Now rapid City, you roller coaster quite a bit. You're going to be dropping them to 75 on Tuesday. And then we're back in the 90s by Thursday. But red flag warnings are in effect for Rapid City and surrounding areas today. So fire danger the biggest concern. And then we're talking about warm temperatures and more storms for the Gulf Coast. So, Emily, like you said, lots of active weather across the nation today.
Emily Finn
Certainly looks like it. Tracy, thank you so much for all of those updates and for all of.
Tracy Anthony
Don't forget to download.
Emily Finn
Go ahead.
Tracy Anthony
I was just gonna throw a plugin for the app. You know, just download the app. It gives you all your best information at your fingertips.
Emily Finn
Yep. Right at your fingertips. And there's a QR code right at the bottom of your screen. You can scan that. Tracy and I were just so excited. We both wanted to tell you at the Same time. So make sure you scan it right now. You don't want to miss it. All right, let's get you back over to David Brody.
David Brody
David, Good morning, Emily. Thank you so much. All right. President Trump has rejected Iran's counter proposal to end the war as hostilities continue. In a truth social post, the president wrote, quote, I've just read the response from Iran's so called representatives. I don't like it. Totally unacceptable. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. Trump, Iranian leaders have been pushing for war reparations, full sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, the lifting of all sanctions and for all Iranian assets to be unfrozen.
Public Podcast Sponsor
All right.
David Brody
Joining us now with the latest is RAV DC correspondent Neal McCabe. Neil, good morning. The same old same old from Iran. You just wonder. President Trump has given Iran so many opportunities to come clean. They're not going to do it. They'll never do it. Let's be honest. You just wonder if President Trump doesn't want an off ramp here at some point. He sees the gas prices, he sees the midterm elections ahead. You wonder what's going to happen though. Good morning.
Cancer Survivor
Hey, good morning, David. It reminds me that for maybe two months during the negotiations to end the Vietnam War in Paris, the North Vietnamese basically argued with the American diplomats for two months on the shape and size of the conference table just to drag things out. Because every one of these third world countries that comes up against the United States, they've read a book called Vietnam. And the theme of Vietnam is just drag it out, drag it out and America can't hang as was. And but you know these guys, they need to read another book and that's called Donald J. Trump. And I think he's pretty much fed up and he wants this thing to go. And I'll say it again, one of the most powerful forces in Washington is not politics and policy, it's the calendar. There's a lot of things on the calendar, including this China trip coming up this week. And so Trump needs to put this thing away so that he can move on to other things. And he's not going to do it running away. He's going to close it on his terms. David.
Dr. Gina
Neil, last week Howard Lutnick testified regarding his interactions, I guess you'd say, with Epstein. He had previously said that, previously testified, I believe that he had his last contact with Epstein in, I believe 2005. But since then, records show that there was, there were multiple contacts after that. And then over the weekend or maybe it Was toward the end of last week, Congressman Massie suggested that perhaps Howard Lutnick was the one who had told Pam Bondi to just go kind of quiet on the Epstein files after all of those reporters were brought to the White House and given packets that they were told contained the unredacted Epstein files. Neil, are we going to hear any more about this testimony that took place behind. Behind closed doors with Howard Lutnick?
Cancer Survivor
Yeah, I think we're going to hear a lot about it because, you know, he went out of his way to give interviews that basically said, hey, Epstein was my neighbor, but I never talked to the guy or I had lunch with him once, and it was very uncomfortable. Why? My wife and I felt so uncomfortable. We never wanted to see the guy again. And these public statements, obviously, you know, an interview, you know, with a reporter isn't under oath or anything like that, but he created an impression that turned out not to be true. James Comer, the Kentucky congressman who chairs oversight, he was very generous when he described Ludnick's testimony. But you have Thomas Massie, another congressman from Kentucky, and he's out for bear. And so if. If Massie smells blood, he's not going to let go because he's at his point of his career. He doesn't really have any relationships with anybody. And so he's just following what he thinks is important. And if there's something there, Massie will dig it up. It is interesting that you mentioned Pam Bondi because, you know, since he's left the Justice Department, you're seeing tremendous action on all sorts of fronts with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. And you have to wonder if it was Bondi and her staff that were sort of the wet blanket keeping Trump's Justice Department from following Trump's programs and goals.

Neil, I do want to turn now to the war in Ukraine. Over the weekend, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the war may finally come to an end after more than four years of fighting. The comments came following Russia's scaled down Victory Day parade in Moscow, where Putin also said that he would be open to future talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelinsky under the right conditions. Is this White House confident that this could be a genuine opening for peace negotiations?
Cancer Survivor
Well, I think the White House is obviously looking to get a solution, but they have. They have spent tremendous amount of political capital and especially in the beginning of the administration. And to be honest with you, Ukraine has really dropped off the priority list here at the White House. And frankly, in Washington, on Capitol Hill, the Democrats are obsessed with the Ukraine and the situation there. Everyone has strong feelings for that war and what those people are going through. But I think Putin's situation now is like all of us, he's not getting any younger. He's looking at his legacy. And he has basically managed to make Russia an economic pariah on the world stage. And he wants to reintegrate Russia back into that sort of community of families. He wants to get back to the grownups table. And he's running out of time, as we all are.
David Brody
Neil, you got President Trump preparing for this high stakes summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping this week in Beijing. Believe he leaves. Is it tomorrow that he leaves? Help me out on that. I mean, what's going to go on here? What are the expectations from the White House going in?
Cancer Survivor
I haven't seen a firm departure, but obviously, you know, he has meetings scheduled. So he's going to leave Tuesday or Tuesday night, early Wednesday. But there's a lot of things that they need to talk about. They need to talk about trade, they need to talk about Taiwan and they need to talk about oil. China takes 90% of Iran's oil. And so that blockade of Iranian oil is really a blockade on China's oil. And so if you think about, you know, the storage capacity as a battery, right. China has tremendous storage capacity of oil that they've built up over years. But in effect, if they can't get fresh oil, they're running on batteries. They're also using their storage to help out other Asian nations to sort of build friendships and sort of, you know, say, hey neighbor, can you need some oil? Recently they helped out Vietnam, they're helping out South Korea, but they're also, but they're drawing from storage. They're not getting fresh oil. If China needs to move forward, they need to secure that oil. And I've got to believe that's going to be number one on the agenda for President Xi, if not for Trump.
Dr. Gina
I want to ask you just to follow up on my last question about Lutnick's testimony and thank you for correcting that. It was a reporter, not formal testimony that he was speaking to when he said he hadn't talked to Epstein in years. It was President Trump. Neal has been such the president of transparency and authenticity. We've seen things put out into the public eye that we've never seen before. Files and files, all sorts of government activities. The list goes on and on. But this was a closed door testimony. Neil, what is word on the Hill as to why this was closed door?
Cancer Survivor
That's the sort of thing that's negotiated, what you don't, you know, you don't want to have. If you have a public hearing, what happens is the Democrats get five minutes, the Republicans get five minutes, and it becomes this ping pong of soft questions and hard questions. But you never really get any traction. You can't follow up in a closed hearing. What you'll have is the Republicans will have 30 minutes, the Democrats will have 30 minutes, and they'll have staff attorneys there and investigators and other people there to sort of drill down and actually develop a narrative follow up. I don't want to call it cross examination, but it's a more, it's a, it's a more successful interview than you would see in a public hearing.
David Brody
That's good, good information. Neil, thank you so much for being here. I appreciate you over there at the White House. Thank you.
Dr. Gina
Thanks, Neil.
Cancer Survivor
Take care, guys.
David Brody
All right. Coming up, Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has a lot to answer for after reporters continue to link the her to that fraudulent pandemic program in her home state of Minnesota. That's next after the break.
Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's time now to drain the swamp. And this morning we are flushing out Ilhan Omar. The a Minnesota congresswoman is facing new scrutiny after her name reportedly appeared multiple times in resurfaced court exhibits connected to the massive, quote, feeding our future fraud case, a scheme federal prosecutors say stole more than 250 million in pandemic relief funds. Reports say Omar was not charged and has not been accused of wrongdoing. But critics are raising questions after trial documents allegedly referenced heard during discussions involving key figures in the case. Defeating our future investigation has already resulted in dozens of charges and convictions tied to what prosecutors call one of the largest Covid fraud schemes in U.S. history. Let's discuss more with David and Dr. Gina. David, I've got that Somali waltz song stuck in my head. The Somali waltz. I mean, this is unbelievable. How many more times do we have to uncover things about this woman before we finally deport her?
David Brody
Yeah, she's a very good dancer. She does the waltz very well. You know, feeding our future should really be lining our pockets. That's really what it should be called. Look, the truth of the matter is she needs to produce documents, emails, correspondence. Let's see it. If you've got nothing to hide, wait for the T word. Transparency. Let's see everything. And we're not getting anything at this point. So, Gina, you know, where there's smoke, there's fire. And right now we don't even have any documents. So therefore there's a lot of fire right about now.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, well, I mean, David, do you really think we're ever gonna see any of the things you mentioned with her? I just feel like we're not gonna see any of it.
David Brody
No.
Dr. Gina
And Democrats never police their own, you know, and they circle wagons and we circle fire. And that's how we go into the midterms every single time, people. I'm not saying that there's no chance we win the midterms. I'm just saying we always make it a little harder for ourselves. And the Democrats, they know how to play the game. You know, look, when you talk to Democrats back channel, they hate each other. It always shocked me the way Democrats will talk about one another and even in racial terms. Like I've told you guys this before, I learned racial terms from Democrat committee dinners sitting around a table listening to them talk about each other. But when it comes time to be public or to win elections, they act like there is no difference between them. And that's the part that drives me crazy. I honestly think it's catching up with them though, a little bit. David and Emily, I feel like Americans now demand a level of transparency. And I think Americans are standing here looking at somebody like Iliane, however the heck you say her name, don't care, and somebody like a Fetterman or somebody who's just a little more sound minded. There are several and they're looking at them side by side and going, why aren't you calling her out? Why aren't you calling out your own Democrats? Republicans do it. Why aren't you doing it? We don't always do it. Republicans don't always do it, but they certainly do it way more than Democrats.
Emily Finn
I'm going to give another plug to my generation. A little callback to what we were talking about during the last hour with this hypocrisy. Because it was Nick Shirley, a Gen Z kid, that was able to uncover all of this fraud in Minnesota, obviously Ilhan Omar's home state. And I think that Gen Z is opening their eyes to all of this. They're going to vote these people out hopefully and take a more active role in our politics today because it's the only way that we're going to be able to clean up our systems and have a better future.
Dr. Gina
What I also love about. Go ahead, David.
David Brody
Yeah, I was gonna say, by the way, why did her net worth go from about $90,000 to $30 million?
Dr. Gina
Anybody want to talk about that, well, most politicians do. And that gives Republicans and Democrats, Democrats a lot more. But most do. Emily. Another thing I love about Gen Z and what they're doing is they're not party identifying. And I actually like that they're thinking for themselves. They're going, you know what? I like this idea. I like that idea. I really don't like, I don't like forever wars. Right? That's a big one that they've stepped out on. And I just like that they're kind of thinking and that they're being vocal about it. It's, it's a cool time to watch politics. Right now. We are at a definite turning point. Not to be trite, thank you, Charlie. But we really are at a place I've never seen in all my years of watching politics and talking about it.
Emily Finn
It's a very exciting thing to be a part of. All right, coming up, we're headed down to Wall street for the opening bell and insight into how to hold on to your hard earned dollars with some common sense. We'll be back with more American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stay with us.
David Brody
It's a Fort Myers, Florida. I'm looking closely. I don't see the fort, but I'm told it is Fort Myers, Florida. And I believe our control room, they have wonderful integrity. And that is not. I'm not being facetious, I sound like Biden. I'm not being facetious. Welcome back, everybody. All right, the bell at the New York Stock Exchange going to ring in a few minutes as we wait. Let's take a look. Oh, I see red. That's not good. The Dow not looking great off the top. Just a little bit down a little bit. The S and P, the NASDAQ gold, crude oil up. That is to be expected, sadly. So we'll monitor it and we'll check in with the opening bell here in just a few minutes. And then of course, throughout the rest of the day. You know, most people think waking up tired or sore or even overheated is just part of getting older. Well, to a degree it is. But what if it's not aging? Actually, what if it's your mattress? You know, most people don't think about their mattress until pain forces them to. And what we're seeing is just okay. Sleep might actually be why you're waking up stiff or uncomfortable or even relying on things like pain relievers just to get through the night. Well, join us now to talk about how simply changing your mattress can make all the difference in the world. Is the CEO and Founder of Ghostbed. That would be our good friend Mark Werner. Mark, good morning to you. You've been on with us before, but listen, we have new viewers all the time. So anyone who has not heard the full story, this really started with your own health issues. So tell us more about that. Good morning.
Mark Werner
Good morning, David. And thank you for having ghostbed. Yes, 25 years ago, I've had three neck surgeries. I've got all this metal in my neck and I couldn't find a pillow or a mattress that worked for my condition. And having grown up in the Werner ladder family is very lucky for that. My dad invented the aluminum ladder and fiberglass ladder, so I was his little understudy with fiberglass. So that's a polymer. So I took my polymer technology from structural polymers, applied it to comfort polymers and came out with our first Ghostbed pillow and mattress. And I started this in the USA with my wife and then ultimately my kids. So I was satisfying my problem of trying to find a mattress that had the comfort and support for my needs. And then over the last 25 years, it's built into a great domestic business and we do business in Canada and the UK as well. So we've expanded. And it's cooling, comfort, all the right things you need and also cost affordable. So we make a very high quality product that's affordable for the average person to buy.
David Brody
Yeah, Mark, let's get to the. I'll get to the cooling in a second. But you know, a lot of people watching or we wake up with uncomfortable aches and stiffness or feeling tired, sore. We assume it's just part of getting older. But you're saying actually it could be your mattress.
Mark Werner
It's probably your mattress. I mean, I'm an older guy, so sure there's more aches and pains as you get older. That comes with the territory. But it's most likely your sleep setup and it's probably time to get a new mattress, perhaps a new adjustable based foundation or foundation. Probably new pillows, new sheets, get the whole ensemble. I mean, you're spending a third of your life there. People spend a lot of money on Starbucks or other kinds of little fringe things that they consume very quickly. In a matter of minutes or 30 minutes, they're gone with it. This is a long term asset that you're going to be using every single day. And you'll be refreshed, you'll feel better, you'll be a happier person, you'll function better, you'll just be better off. So I would definitely look into the mattress and I do it now, I wouldn't procrastinate. I would move forward on it.
David Brody
Yeah, no doubt. Now, let's talk about the cooling aspect of this, because one of the biggest complaints we hear is people waking up hot during the night. So what's going on there? Why is that happening?
Mark Werner
A lot of mattresses just trap the body heat. And, you know, our bodies are 98.6 degrees. So when you're sitting there, like you're sitting in your chair, if you feel under your leg, you're going to feel some warmth between your leg and the cushion that's just transferring that heat. So it's transferring it onto the mattress itself. So what we did, and we got patents for it, is developed this phase change cooling technology where we put it into the material of the fabric that goes on the mattress, we put it on the top layer of the foam on the mattress, and it literally just pulls the heat away from your person and knocks your temperature down a couple degrees. And really that's all you need. You don't need to get into an ice cooler to freeze and put on a parka or something like that. Just knock it down a couple degrees, let your body relax a little bit and go to sleep and stay asleep. So you'll sleep deeper in REM sleep and it will be a better experience. And it's all about the cooling. And I always slept warm, so I always focused on developing cooling technologies. So we have it in all of our products, mattress sheets, pillows, toppers, et cetera. Because cooling is a very critical item with quality sleep.
David Brody
No doubt about it, Mark, we have less than a minute, about 30 seconds or so. You've helped a lot of people over the years. What are customers actually saying after they switch?
Mark Werner
It's our reviews on our platform, Costco's that we sell Sam's. And the reviews are amazing. I mean, stuff like, it's changing my life. It's taking away the shoulder pain. I didn't think it could be this good. And they're right on our website or on Amazon site. So it's all out there, it's public domain. And it's just people are very impressed with a high quality product that's affordable. So, yeah, it's really, it's been a great experience and we're very proud of it.
David Brody
I've got the product. I absolutely love it. Where can people go, Mark, to get more information? Any promo codes you're running right now.
Mark Werner
Ghostbed.com rav for an additional 10% to go with our Memorial Day savings. And we always have very aggressive pricing. That's part of the whole ghostbed concept. High quality, low cost.
David Brody
Mark Werner, Great stuff. You are literally helping people, saving people, and really expanding and elongating their lives. Thanks for being here. Appreciate it.
Mark Werner
Thank you so much, David.

All right. Oh, look at that. It's green. As we get ready for the opening bell, or as a matter of fact, the opening bell has now gone on. Oh, now it went red. You know, why does it do that? Me, I just said green and now I feel like a fake newsman. Anyhow, you can see that it seems a little bit topsy turvy off the top of the day. We'll take a look ultimately how this is going to pan out later today. I always look down at oil. Right now it's at 96 bucks 84 cents a gallon. It is gone up a little bit. That is not to be. That is to be expected. And there is the opening bell. Ding, ding, ding. You had to hear the nat sound. I mean, if you don't hear the nat sound, did the bell even ring? It's like if a tree falls in the forest, did it really fall? Anyhow, we will monitor all those numbers the rest of the day. All right. Still to come here on American Sunrise, new polling data shows surprising bipartisan agreement on a critical issue, money and our elections. We're going to break down the numbers, discuss it, stick around, everybody.

All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. We are so happy you joined us this Monday morning. We invite you to join in our conversation over on YouTube. Getter and rumble. We're in that chat and if you want commercial free, go into YouTube and talk to us there. The hosts all get in it and we have a good time. All right. The political pulse of America. It is time for that. And here's the beat. Today, a new poll is reinforcing a rare point of agreement in American politics. Most voters believe that money has too much influence. Washington, D.C. no kidding. According to the survey, roughly 8 in 10Americans say major donors have way too much influence over members of Congress. That includes 83% of Republicans and 80% of Democrats. This shows strong bipartisan concern over the power of big money lobbyists and special interest groups. This poll also found that 72% of Americans support limits on political campaign spending, including 70% of Democrats and 71% of Republicans. The findings come as the 2026 midterm cycle is expected to shatter fundraising records, with billions of dollars flowing into these federal races. Let's discuss more with David Brody and Emily. David, you know, here's the problem, David. You have the very people needing to be corrected who are writing the bill. That's the problem. That's always been the problem. They'll pass legislation that on its face sounds so good, but in reality what it does is it gives loopholes to the most powerful who are the ones in charge of writing the legislation to begin with. This has always been the problem.
David Brody
Yeah, it has. And let's be honest, the Republican Party back in the day, the Mitt Romney led party, the Mitch McConnells, the George W. Bush, they were doing all of that. And hence the rise of the Tea Party and hence the rise of the populist movement. And President Trump comes along, though a lot of people are still criticizing President Trump, saying Sheldon Adelson, or excuse me, Miriam Adelson and others are basically controlling his policy. I mean, that's a load of junk. I don't know why. Bunk and junk. I don't know why people say that. But I guess the reason they say that is because they see that mostly it's true in so many of these other cases. But I think with President Trump, he marches to the beat of his own drum. Does money influence him in Terms of the policy? I don't think so. I mean, I'm sure it influences people in his administration, but does it influence him personally? I don't think so. I may be wrong on that. Call me naive, that's fine. But I'll just say, Emily, there's $14 billion in 2024 that went to election spending, 5 billion of it in presidential cycles. So, you know, this is clearly a problem, and it's a problem writ large. I just don't think that when you attach it to President Trump, I think he's just going to do what he's going to do and he's not worried about Miriam Adelson and others.
Emily Finn
That number that you just threw out there, David, 14 billion. I mean, our founding fathers have to be rolling in their graves at that number. There are so many better uses for that money to improve the lives of the American people. And it just feels like our system was never set up to be abused this way. That's my only thought that I have on all of that.
Dr. Gina
Dr. G. It really is true. But the question remains, the dilemma remains, how do you get the very people who are profiting off of this? I mean, by and large, as we just talked about, people come into politics with a reasonable normal income and they leave politics as millionaires and billionaires. You're trying to get those people to say, oh, yeah, oh, I don't want this anymore. Please, you all, no, don't let me be able to game the system and make millions and billions of dollars. It's just not going to happen. This is the dilemma of sort of this capitalist republic. I mean, it really is. And I really think this is a place where I think you're right, David. This is the reason why the birth of the Tea Party, the birth of maga, the birth even of what's happening within MAGA right now saying, we don't want this anymore. We don't want the rich elite controlling our politics. But I honestly, I'm at a loss when I try to think of how to make that actually happen, because they're simply not going to write themselves out of checks.
David Brody
Yeah, I don't see how you do it, I'll be honest with you, because you've got the politicians that are getting their backs scratched from the same people that you want to get, you know, have, have it all stopped. So, I mean, you know, everybody's benefiting and no one's really losing at this point other than the American people.
Dr. Gina
There's a parallel here to term limits, and I think the reason you might see fewer Republicans wanting this reform is because they kind of know it's worthless. Cuz we've done this a million times and all it, all it ends up doing is giving it, you know, the law abiding. As we've said with gun laws all along, the law abiding obey the laws. The ones that are going to break the laws, they're going to break them anyway. And they're going to break them no matter how many laws you write. Right. So I think a lot of Republicans are sort of savvy to this. This sort of reminds me of term limits because term limits sounds very good on its face. It doesn't work because you take away power from the voters. That's the reason why this comes down to the voters saying, you know what? If you're going to game the system, we're going to vote you out. This is about engagement. This is about voters taking charge here. And that's the one real way we could really fix this. All right, we have to change gears now. They're telling me. The Stay Awake America tour is heading to Washington, D.C. this Saturday to bring speakers, musicians, conservative activists for a day focused on faith, civics and political engagement. Organizers say this event is designed to unite, engage and activate Americans around cultural and national issues. Joining us now with a special preview for the event is the host of the Case for America here on RAV, Trenis Evans. Good morning, Trenis.
Trenis Evans
Good morning, Dr. Gina. Good morning to the Real America's Voice morning team. Always good to see you guys. Great to be with you.
Dr. Gina
Great to have you, Trinis. You know, this sounds like a really fun event. I have, my son's getting married so I can't attend. But tell us what we can expect from this weekend.
Trenis Evans
Well, you know, this has already been, the venue's already changed, so we have a new location. There's already been, you know, people upset that this is happening in D.C. because they don't like the truth much in Washington, D.C. and I want to give a full disclaimer to the event. This is not an SPLC funded event. This is a Grassroots America funded event. We are real people doing the real work that work, the real cases that are important to the future of this nation.
David Brody
Very nice. Tell me a little bit more about what we can expect specifically in terms of speakers and other things like that. Well, you know, this is, this is
Trenis Evans
where you have people that are coming to you, like myself. You have people like Stuart Rhodes, you have Ivan Rakeland who's been covering things on the Hill For a long time. He's been a guest here many times. You have Stuart Rhodes, founder of the Oath Keepers, coming to talk about what happened to them, the atrocities they experienced. I mean, I'm telling you, Dr. Judy Mikovitz is coming with one of the incredible stories about Fauci and their history with him. So there's so much coming here, very important to watch and catch up. And we get to deliver this information you get firsthand. And you have an ability to access these speakers and talk with them one off after they're off the stage. It's, these are great grassroots events.
Emily Finn
It sounds like it's certainly going to be exciting. You know, Trennis, I want to get your take on what's happening in Virginia right now. Virginia Democrats are taking their redistricting fight to the US Supreme Court after the Virginia Supreme Court struck down a voter approved congressional map that could have helped Democrats pick up as many as four House seats in 2026. This comes as redistricting battles erupt in state capitals across the country right now. Do you think Virginia Democrats have a case here?
Trenis Evans
Well, you know, there will be no gerrymandering unless we're the ones in control. Right. That's kind of the idea behind the mentality or the mantra that we see coming out of the Virginia legislature here. They want to do things that control the votes and then, you know, they don't like it. So, you know, this headed to scotus. I think it's good for them because I think they need to get slapped down a second time on being able to absolutely gerrymander this. And this is not the proper response. But, you know, I'm not surprised the Democrats have taken this position.
Dr. Gina
And what do you have coming up on A Case for America this week?
Trenis Evans
Oh, gosh, you know, so much coming on here. The Case for America is always delivering cases. We have an update on Tina Peters. We have so much happening with the cases where we're exposing the government. We actually recently picked up a case for a doctor and we're about to show you how the government falsified the entire patient role, used another doctor's patient role, prosecuted this woman and sent her to prison for 24 months. And that injustice still stands and has not been resolved. It shouldn't be resolved with a pardon. This is still active on appeal. And we're asking Todd Blanche to take a hard look at this case so that we can see justice for yet another American citizen.
David Brody
Hey, Trennis, before you go, before we let you go, I want to get back to redistricting for one second. Just a quick follow up on this. I am not a big fan of what's going on here, quite frankly, from a Republican or Democrat standpoint. Forget party for a second. I just don't like this idea that, I just think it doesn't benefit anybody. I think we're running, I think we're going through a dangerous, we're going down a dangerous road here and I'm not quite sure where this ends, but I don't like it.
Trenis Evans
Well, look, I understand it sounds, it's a slippery slope. I mean Americans should be concerned. Anytime things are happening in election maps are being redrawn. You have a legitimate concern. David Brody, you are making a wise assertion here. However, I want to make sure America needs to understand this. If the rules of the game were put together with fairness and equity, then that's great. But when the rules of the game weren't put together with fairness and equity and it was about, oh, we need to help this community, are an underprivileged and we had ideology that was, you know, thrust itself into the reason that the rules were put together the way they were. The, in this case, voter, the map, then that's problematic and those things need to be looked at and you need to spread this out evenly and it should be done the way it should be done. We shouldn't have these power centric districts for either party. But this is all we. David, we can go back to. You really have a two party issue in our country. Not really is so much a map or districting or voter issue. I think that's the bigger issue. If we didn't have a two party system, I think a lot of America would like to see something different.
Dr. Gina
Interesting. Well, Trena Sevens, we appreciate you being with us. Have a great time this weekend.
Trenis Evans
Yes, thank you so much. Great to be here with you guys.
Dr. Gina
All right, thanks, Trennis. Hey, folks, are you worried about what's in your water? You should be. This is something I talk about on this show all the time. This is the most fundamental thing you can do for your health. You know, nationwide testing proves without a doubt, you guys, that high levels of harmful contaminants such as chlorine, other dangerous chemicals, are in your drinking water in every state, coast to coast. Even if you have well water, you've got runoff, right? Those horrible glyphosates. So what are you going to do about it? Well, you got to install a whole house water filtration system. I did this. It has changed my life. It's a great way to protect your family from these harmful and cancer causing chemicals. Cause a lot of other problems too, by the way. Freedom Whole House water systems made right here in America the world's best, hands down. I did the research. Whole house water filtration system on the market. Best part, no salt to add, no filters to change, no maintenance whatsoever. With these filters, wait until you hear the science. It's the coolest thing ever. No worries. Today, a Texas based company looking to see if artificial intelligence can help veterans navigate the often complicated VA disability claims process. Vet Claims AI says it combines AI driven claim analysis with veteran to veteran support to help former service members prepare claims, identify missing medical evidence and avoid common filing mistakes as well. Joining us now to talk more about this incredible project that could help veterans so much. Vet Claims AI Founder and CEO and also Purple Heart combat veteran Lucas Seminar. Lucas, good morning. This is cool. I really like, I really like this. I like that. It's common sense, right? It's down to earth. All you gotta really do is teach them where to go and they can go in there and they can help themselves. This does more than just help them with navigating the va. This is a psychological tool really to empower our veterans. Hey, I can help myself, right?
David Brody
Yes. And thank you for having me. Good morning. It is this what started as a self service tool like you said, something where if they can find the place, they can navigate this crazy system by themselves and actually get what they deserve. What started as that has become honestly just a kind of a cornerstone in the community. It's created over 360 veteran jobs and over 50,000 veterans in the last year alone have gone through Vet Claims AI. But what's getting crazy about that is now the conversation is really turning to what can we do to make this a systemic change instead of just being a company? How can the VA use it? How can we leverage this to fill in the gaps and what veterans are actually getting?
Dr. Gina
Yeah, it makes sense. Like part of you kind of wonders why if we have this technology, how come the actual government doesn't use it? Right? You had to come up with it, you had to found this private company. But the government should partner with you on something that could impact veterans in such a positive way. You think this would be a no brainer?
David Brody
I think a lot of it is the problem is the gap between the appointed officials and what's going on on the Hill, right?
Tracy Anthony
Yeah.
David Brody
You know, one of the craziest things we've learned is the VA has four people managing their Office of Accreditation. So there's four people that work to certify and get these agents or attorneys, whoever that can help veterans out there. And that's why there's such a disproportionate gap between we have 18 million veterans. We've got less than 8,000 entities across the country that can help them. And so what we're doing is the first example of something that truly scales. And we're hoping that the people in Congress make that something that the VA can actually use, because right now they're a little blocked.
Dr. Gina
Well, I love the idea of it. I love that you're doing this. Lucas Simonier, thank you for helping our veterans, and thanks for being with us today.
David Brody
Thank you so much for the opportunity. Appreciate you.
Dr. Gina
God bless you. All right, Coming up, I'm standing by with the top story that I am keeping my eye on today, the One to WATCH right after the break. So don't go away. Well, have fun. All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks so much for being with us this morning. It is time now for THE One to WATCH it. Here's what I'm keeping my eye on today. Marriage rates in the United States have been falling for decades. New data shows that fewer men and women are married by age 30 than at any point in modern history. According to U.S. census data, over half of Americans are married today, compared to more than 70% that were married in the 1960s. Among adults under 30, the decline is even more dramatic. In 1980, a large majority of men and women were married by age 30. Today, less than half the women, roughly one third of men, have been married by that age. This graphic suggests the data is even worse. With just over a quarter of American women married by age 30 and less than 17% of men, it's not sustainable. We've bought a lie. Feminism sold us a bill of goods. But I want you to know an interesting other point I found while I was looking into this. David and Emily, women with a Bachelor's degree, age 25 to 34, bear with me. 20% in 1975, more than 50% now in 2025. Feminism sold us a lie, David.
David Brody
Well, look, I believe that we need to make marriage great again. That doesn't kind of work as maga, right? That's whatever it is, but that's the issue, right? I mean, right now, the truth of the matter is that marriage is a bad word to many folks and in a scary word and a dangerous word. And that's not the way God intended it. We need to figure out ways to rejuvenate the marriage structure. And quite frankly, with all of the liberal policies out there that are suggesting that, you know, you own your own truth and it's all about you, and it's all about achieving things for yourself and all of that. And what is a woman and a man is a woman, and a woman's a man. They've confused everybody to the point where people are gun shy and not doing what they should be doing. Because God does want us to procreate and have solid families. But there's a lot of trepidation out there, Emily.
Emily Finn
Yeah, I don't have anywhere near enough time to share all of my thoughts on this, you guys. I definitely see that this is prevalent among young people today.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, I know this is a big issue on your heart, Emily. It is on a lot of people's hearts. We have to turn it back around, because feminism did not liberate women. It orphaned them. All right, you guys, we will be back with you tomorrow. War Room coming up next. Hug your children. Love God. Go boldly live the truth. See you tomorrow.
David Brody
See everybody.
