Good evening, America. Happy Monday. Welcome to the latest edition of Just THE News. No noise. I'm your host John Solomon reporting to you as always from the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. president Donald Trump made some more news today regarding Iran. He announced that he had delayed a planned attack on Iran at the request of our three Gulf allies who are negotiating directly with Tehran. That's United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. He said what those three are engaged in are serious negotiations. I've been asked, President Trump wrote on his true social messaging. I have been asked by the Emir of Qatar, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and the President of the United Arab Emirates to hold off on our planned military attack of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was scheduled for tomorrow, and that serious negotiations are now taking place. The President also said that any deal made with Iran will include no nuclear weapons for that country. And he clarified that strikes could resume on a moment's notice if necessary. In other words, sleep with one eye open, Iran. We also have some more news on the redistricting front. The Supreme Court earlier today vacated to redistricting rulings in North North Dakota, excuse me, and Mississippi and remanded them to reconsideration at a lower federal court level in light of the recent decision on the Voting Rights act in that Louisiana case. That is one of several things we're watching. On the election integrity front today, another big thing happened. The Justice Department charged a longtime voting activist in California with illegally paying people to register to vote in the Golden State. This is a landmark indictment today. Charges were filed today. The latest example that yes, cheating and problems do occur all across this country, almost always in Democratic states. The number of examples are piling up. New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Maryland, you name it. The blue states have a voting integrity issue right now that you don't see often in Florida or Georgia or Texas where bigger, tougher laws are in place. Meanwhile, one more story to go, a story we broke here this morning. We expect the Justice Department on Wednesday to unseal an indictment against Raul Castro, the brother of the late revolutionary leader of Cuba, Fidel Castro. He'll be charged, we believe, with authorizing the downing of two American humanitarian airplanes back in 1996, back when Bill Clinton was president. People have been outraged in the Cuban American expat community for decades that no justice occurred for the shooting down of those two American aircraft which killed three American citizens and one American lawful resident. But we believe it's going to happen on Wednesday. And the reason is the case suddenly got from cold case to indictment is because of Donald Trump's border policies. Here's a little ditty. Last year, the Trump border enforcement people arrested a Cuban Air Force pilot. He was retired. He had been let into the country by Joe Biden's administration, even though there were concerns he may have participated in that 201996 downing of those two airplanes while President Trump rounded him up, arrested him, charged him, at least his Justice Department did out of Miami, the U.S. attorney's office in Miami. And now they have all the leads they need to make an indictment against the 94 year old Raul Castro. By the way, if that indictment does come up and is handed up on Wednesday, Raul Castro will be one of the oldest defendants ever to face justice in American judicial history. We'll have you up to speed. And that will be covering all of that live on Wednesday here at Just the News and Real America's Voice. With that, time to turn things over to my amazing co host, Amanda Head. Amanda, what have you been watching today?
Co-Host Amanda Head
No, lots and lots and lots. So earlier Today, Vice President J.D. vance toured at the Milbank manufacturing facility in Kansas City before taking the stage to discuss the administration's efforts to revive Made in America Manufacturing. And during his remarks, Vance emphasized the importance of leaders working on behalf of the American people and spoke about what he has learned regarding the fight against fraud. So take a listen to what he had to say.
Vice President J.D. Vance
There are at least two victims. Every time a fraudster takes advantage of our public programs, number one, you are the victims. When you pay your taxes, you ought to expect that it's going to go to the people that the law says it's going to go to. That's number one. But number two, when you pay into a program, let's say you pay your taxes and you know it's going to go to the food stamp program to ensure that low income children actually have the ability to eat. You expect that money to go to a child to keep that child from being hungry. You do not expect it to go to a Somali fraudster because Governor Tim Walsh in Minnesota is not doing his job.
Co-Host Amanda Head
All right, so Trump, Vance voters, that is what they voted for. Leaders who will fight on their behalf and that the administration is focused on restoring accountability for the American people. And speaking of accountability, in the Luigi Mangione case, Judge Gregory Caro ruled earlier today the prosecutor shooters cannot admit certain items that police found during a search of Mangione's backpack after he was arrested at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania shortly after the shooting. Judge Caro said the items were seized during a, quote, improper warrantless search and included a loaded magazine, a passport, a computer chip and a wallet. However, additional items, including a silencer, were discovered during a later search of the backpack at Altoona police headquarters, which the judge ruled was a lawful search. And Judge Caro also ruled that Mangioni's alleged manifesto, as well as a gun, can be used as evidence. So that will allow prosecutors to use the items in Mangioni's trial on nine state felony charges, including second degree murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thomas. John, I saw some of the remarks from Mangione's team outside of the courthouse. They were quite appalling. What a certain sector of this country has done to rally around political violence. And the death of this CEO is almost unrecognizable, recognizable in our country.
John Solomon
Yeah. One of the things that we have another instance this afternoon, it looks like out in San Diego, an Islamic center attacked, three victims dead. The two young shooters, believed to be only 17 and 19 years old, may have committed suicide in a car after carrying out. We don't know the motive yet, but this level of violence is all across the country. It's something that really should concern all of us. And when you see people applauding, I saw people that on social media today. I think Andy Ngo, our colleague from Human Events and the Post Millennial, was tweeting out that there were people that had journalism credentials that were applauding Luigi Mangioni as a hero for executing somebody in cold blood on the street in New York. It is absolutely insane. Well, with that, we've got a perfect way to kick off our show today. He has long represented the state of South Carolina as a member of Congress, a member of the Freedom Caucus. Now he's one of the leading candidates to be governor in that state. He is our good friend, Congressman Ralph Norman. Sir, good to have you on the show.
Congressman Ralph Norman
John, glad to be with you. And Amanda, thank you.
John Solomon
We're honored to have you. I know you're out working hard, campaigning, getting the job done. South Carolina has jumped into the redistricting fray. Tell us a little bit what's going on there.
Congressman Ralph Norman
Well, the House is going to meet probably till 12 o' clock tonight. I think they'll pass it. I think it'll then go to the Senate and who knows what's going to happen. Know early voting starts in May 26 through June 5. So if they run the clock out and early voting started starts, it'll be tough sledding to get it passed. Redistricting. I call for the minute I announced back in July. And so it's, it's long overdue and should be done. But now whether they'll pull it across the finish line, I don't know. I thank President Trump for leading the way on this and calling attention to it. We've got to get, get if, if don't get this done, I don't know when we'll do it.
John Solomon
Yeah.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Sir, speaking of coming across the finish line, when it comes to Republican majority in November, I know that you are outgoing and, and looking for that governorship there in South Carolina. But when it comes to Republicans keeping the majority, this redistricting fight, do you get the sense from Democrats that they bit off more than they can chew? Maybe the dogs catching up with the bumper, all of those idioms that we can use. Are they regretting it?
Congressman Ralph Norman
Well, you look at what they're saying. Jim Crow too, racism. No, I'm making the argument that the American people are not buying that. People in District 6, I know, in South Carolina have wanted this map to be drawn properly long before now. And so I don't think people all over the country are buying it. You know, what's right is right. And the Democrat party of the 60s and 70s and 80s is not what this Marxist socialist is today. I think people are recognizing that and they're not buying their arguments.
John Solomon
Yeah, it is so important that the American people are sometimes smarter than some of the political spinsters that they're subjected to on media all the time. There is a lot going on in the Congress right now. You have long been a champion of privacy and of reducing government Surveillance. Right now you're, you're members of the Freedom Caucus as part of the FISA surveillance reauthorization, are digging down hard to fight cbdc central bank digital currencies. Tell us why this is such a dangerous tool. And we see China already misuses it.
Congressman Ralph Norman
China misuses it, John. And the fact that they can track every American by their banking transactions, the fact that they, we have seen where they misused and used the judicial department once they gathered information to, to go after freedom loving Americans. And so we're going to hopefully bring this back up in the House and attach, we've tried to attach it and hopefully through reconciliation. But you know, I don't know whether leadership wants to do that now. I know the President really wanted to move forward with one funding the, you know, ICE agents and Border Patrol, but Save America act we've got to, got to get passed. And so I think the Americans are losing patience over, you know, not passing a rigid anti cbdc. I think they're mad about not having the filibuster to get to Save America act passed to ensure our voting. So a lot's on the plate and a lot of Americans are feeling frustrated as I am and others of us are in the Freedom Caucus.
John Solomon
Yeah.
Co-Host Amanda Head
So when it comes to the level of Privacy danger of CBDC, how is that, is that on par with digital IDs? Because we don't have a lot of calls right now in this country for digital IDs, but it happened real fast with Keira Starmer in the uk and it seems to me that there are major privacy issues with that as well.
Congressman Ralph Norman
Yeah, it is. And you know, when they have access to every, every Social Security number, every banking account number, that's a, that's a cause for concern. And I tell you the other thing, Amanda. Americans don't understand it. They need to take time to understand it and get the information out and see what safeguards are in place. Until they do that, we're going to have a hard time supporting anything that doesn't have that on it.
John Solomon
So I want to talk about COVID Every day we learn more about what we were denied as truth. The whistleblower's testimony last week, the documents from Tulsi Gabbard, the documents from HHS and Bobby Kennedy. We know there were problems with the vaccine. We know that the solutions that were imposed on us like masks and social distancing didn't work. They were just sugar pills. Yet a lot of people remain in the jobs that they had during the bad Public Health episode. I know as governor you're thinking about some reforms and you were on the right side of COVID You were arguing not to lock down America. Tell us what you would do as governor that would be different from the current course.
Congressman Ralph Norman
Well, first of all, in South Carolina during COVID they shut down for 421 days under Norman administration. There's not going to be any shutdowns. You know, if I remember right, the. The states formed the federal government, not vice versa. The other thing, that world health organizations, a China dominated agency that
John Solomon
we may have lost. The congressman there he was in the car. Yeah. How lucky we are to have him on campaigning. Yeah. This is a big issue in the race over the last few weeks. And I think there's a health official there that Ralph Norman said he would get rid of. But we forget how much the state's kowtowed to Dr. Anthony Fauci. We now know that most of what Fauci based any of his proclamations on was hooey. It just wasn't true. And I think that. Keep an eye on Ralph Norman in the polls. He's moving up and I think this is a really important issue.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Yeah. You know, I saw anytime we talk about COVID or any of these instances where the federal government. Now listen, overreach is right in the federal government's White House. It's not like. It's not like that's anomalous to their behavior. But I saw Senator Mike Lee posted something today and he was talking about the founding fathers and their views on what the federal government should be in control of and what state and local government should be in control of. And the federal government. Government was meant to be tiny and finite. On the other hand, state and local governments were meant that the responsibilities and powers they had were to be numerous and unlimited. That's how much power they wanted close to the people in their state, in their cities. With health, and especially with health, because you had different dynamics in different counties across this country and there never should have been a one size fits all approach with respect to demographics, with respect to population, or John, as we've talked off about, talked about many times with respect to people's health, if you, if you were old and compromised, if you were young and compromised, if you're compromised in general, that was a completely different scenario and protocol for Covid treatment compared to people who were healthy. And it just boils down.
John Solomon
Mandates will go down, I think, when we get the full truth about the vaccine. As one of the worst public health proclamations in a long time again. People making an informed choice on their own, that's fine.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Absolutely.
John Solomon
But they weren't given choices. They were told they'd be fired. It's kind of cool to see some of these enlisted men and these officers coming back to the military and being sworn back in by Pete personally. He's a personally sworn man. Welcome back. We, we should have never thrown you out of the military for not taking a shot. All right, we've got a quick commercial break when we come back. Next, President Trump has continued or allowed the negotiations with Iran to continue through our proxies. Meanwhile, he comes back from China with a lot of leverage, not only on Iran, but in the economy with farm aid and investments. We're going to tackle all of that next with former CIA officer Rick De La Tour, one of our favorites right after these messages.

Welcome back, everybody. President Trump's historic visit to China last week delivered a major win for the American people as China agreed to purchase U.S. agricultural products annually through the year 2028, a deal that is expected to generate more than $17 billion for the U.S. economy over the next few years, if China makes through on that promise. But even as US China relations continue to strengthen, several critical issues remain that have to be addressed, like the war in Iran, as well as what exactly is going on in Cuba. So joining us now to break down all of this and much more is former CIA senior operations officer and the CEO and founder of Tower Strategy llc, Rick De La Tour. Rick, great to have you back.
Rick De La Tour
Thanks for having me.
Co-Host Amanda Head
All righty. President Trump says that the planned attack on Iran, it was due to happen tomorrow. It has been postponed, Negotiations taking place. Thanks. Thanks. To nations like UAE and Qatar and Saudi Arabia. What do you make of this? And does this portend maybe close to the end?
Rick De La Tour
Well, right, so the Iran story changed today because, you know, we now have two things happening at once. We have a military threat held in reserve and a diplomatic channel being tested through Pakistan. So, you know, Trump says he's paused a planned strike after Gulf leaders asked for time to see whether a deal comes together or not. So, you know, at the end of the day, Trump holds all the cards here. They've been in violation of that ceasefire. He's given them every possible opportunity. He also understands it's been rather difficult to communicate with the senior leadership there since most of them are just dead, really nonexistent. So they can't get their leadership issues straight. But I think Trump is ever hopeful that there's continued room for diplomacy, but diplomacy also has to be built around pressure, and we're seeing that. And no relief for, you know, for good behavior. That hasn't. That hasn't happened yet.
John Solomon
Yeah, that's the important part. In the past, we would reward bad behavior and hope that good behavior would occur. It was the wrong way to go. That's how we created this monster. I want to turn just a second to Cuba. We expect as early as Wednesday that the United States Justice Department will unseal an indictment brought by the Miami U.S. attorney's office against Raul Castro over the 1996 downing of two humanitarian planes over Cuban skies, or actually not even in Cuban skies in international waters.
Rick De La Tour
International.
John Solomon
Yeah. It was a tragedy that didn't get a very strong response at the time from the Clinton administration. Cubans have Long wanted justice. The capture of one of their Air Force pilots on our soil. The guy was let into our country by Joe Biden. Before Joe Biden left office, Trump rolled him up. That is the domino that apparently changed that. How big a moment is that? And could it create unrest in Cuba? Could it agitate the Cuban people as a reminder of just how bad the regime has been?
Rick De La Tour
Well, look, I think it's long overdue. It's finally about time that we have an administration that is focusing on one of the biggest threats we have within 90 miles off our coast. Cuba has served for decades as an aircraft carrier to all our enemies, allowing them to launch from there. They offer the PhD course in Marxism and Leninism and armed revolution throughout Latin America consistently. Every major leftist Marxist problem that we have in Latin America has its roots with the hands of Raul Castro. In 96, when he was Minister of Defense, he ordered the shoot down of American aircraft over international waters and the death of three American citizens. And that's just gone unpunished. He's gotten away with it. People who shot down those aircraft, they're heralded as heroes of the revolution in Cuba. And he's thumbed his nose. During the Obama years, they didn't do anything about it. During the Clinton years, they did some things. One good thing that came out of the Clinton years was the Helms Burton act, which is still in effect now, but that's about it. And finally, we're going to try to hold the root of a lot of the evil in our hemisphere accountable. We are living in a time right now which we can see the end of Communism and Marxism in our hemisphere. And that's just amazing.
John Solomon
That is an amazing moment.
Co-Host Amanda Head
So, Rick, we've had three presidents, four presidents since then. Why didn't other presidents manage this? Why didn't they take care of this? Was it just the opportunity wasn't there. Why is it President Trump?
Rick De La Tour
So I think Trump and obviously Secretary of State Marco Rubio, they say Cuba for what it truly is, right? Cuba is an enabler. Cuba consistently runs very successful intelligence operations against the United States and then takes that information, takes that intelligence, takes those sources, and then sells it to the highest bidders, which is namely China, Russia, Iran also. The other thing is they allow Russian and Chinese forces to set up eavesdropping communication sites on the island that monitor all US Military traffic throughout the Caribbean and in Latin America. And they get compensated for that, too. What we're seeing now is just a collapse of an economic system that would have collapsed years ago had they not have been a parasite off of Venezuela and sustaining the Maduro, originally the Chavez and then later the Maduro regime, keeping them in place in exchange for oil. They take that oil, they don't give it to the Cuban people, they just sell it and move all the money overseas to foreign bank accounts and make themselves billionaires off the backs of Venezuelans and then off the backs of Cubans now, too. So all that is the dynamic that's going on. And this administration finally recognized that Cuba is really a force for evil for us in this hemisphere. They like to play the victim of, oh, we're just this poor little island nation. We don't have a military. We're so weak. Please. We are the victims here. And that is not the case at all. Remember, they happily sent troops to Angola, they happily sent troops to Vietnam. They've played a major role in training just about every. Every terrorist group since the founding of the PLO under Yasser Arafat and continued forward in just about every country, excuse me, continent too. So they're not that innocent. And what they do is they continue to propel these leftist regimes, these violent leftist regimes throughout Latin America so that they themselves, as Cubans can benefit. Trump recognizes that. And if we want to have a hemisphere that's peaceful, we want to have a hemisphere that can grow, a hemisphere that can put an end to corruption, a hemisphere that can push back on China. Cuba can't be part of that equation anymore.
John Solomon
Yeah, no doubt. And today we learned something. Cuba even acknowledged that it bought about 300 attack drones from Iran and Russia, 80 miles off of our, 90 miles off our coast from Florida. That threat now exists. They continue to agitate and raise real security concerns. What is the likelihood that the China, excuse me, the Cuban regime could collapse this year? The economy is terrible. Cubans. Look at the expats here in America who make oodles more money than them because capitalism works when communism doesn't. What do you think the chances are that we could. That an organic or other revolution could occur and Cuba could fall back into freedom?
Rick De La Tour
That's a hard bet for me to take because sadly, you know, we've been here before, right? We saw this at the end of the collapse of the Soviet Union over and over again. Evil is hard to kill. And these folks, what they do is they're opportunists, right? Had Trump not stepped in what they were doing in Venezuela, they would have easily done in Mexico. That was their next target. And that's what they were focusing on. And now that's come to an end. But anything goes with the Cuban regime. It's really hard to tell. I can tell you that. The Cuban people, though, we've seen an uptick in protests and mass marches since they don't have the fuel, the repressive regime doesn't have the actual gasoline and fuel. They're having a lot of difficulty putting down these protests violently like they did back in July of 2322. Excuse me. So what they're doing now is the people are waking up. They're recognizing and realizing that it's all been a sham and they're going to do what they need to do. What we need to do is make sure that we keep an eye on the Cuban regime and hold them accountable for any human rights violations or anything else that they do. I have to say, John, it absolutely floors me to find U.S. politicians, U.S. congress folks, federally elected national politicians, defend the human rights abuses, defend the violence defendants, the economic hardship, the communism that exists just 90 miles off our shore, and accepted.
John Solomon
One of them. Yeah. And one of them even was trying to help them get sanctions relief from other foreign countries. I mean, it would seem to me that that would be a prosecutable offense.
Rick De La Tour
That sounds like a fair violation to me.
John Solomon
Yeah, I agree, but I'm no lawyer.
Rick De La Tour
No, I do.
Co-Host Amanda Head
You've got an amazing Cuban American population in South Florida and other places. Places, but obviously concentrated down there in South Florida.
Rick De La Tour
I'm so happy to have been a part of that. I grew up in Miami, just a few blocks away from our Secretary of State. My high school used to beat up his high school every Friday. I've mentioned that to him a couple times, and he's aware of it. But now is the time, I think, to actually see, once again, the possibility of freedom and democracy in our hemisphere.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Rick, I got to say, it sounded like you really needed to get that in there about the high schools. But before we let you go, I hear similar things from Cuban Americans as I do from Persians in Los Angeles, Iranian Americans. It's basically optimism or bust. What needs to happen in Cuba. Further to make it look a little bit more like the situation in Iran so that things can possibly flip.
Rick De La Tour
Well, let's be clear, right? And I say this as a proud Cuban American, but I want to emphasize and underscore the word American. This administration is focusing on what's best for our country, what's best for our citizens. Obviously, that aligns very well with the people in Cuba and the people in places like Iran. But ultimately, it's up to them to step up to do what needs to be done, to have their voices heard, to take to the streets and hold these regimes accountable. And it's a sacrifice. Of course it's not easy. But democracy is never easy. And it's not the role of US Troops to die on faraway lands unless there's a significant threat to us or something that we need to confront immediately. Right away,
Co-Host Amanda Head

I heart radio. Welcome back, America. A lot of times when I'm with foreign leaders, whether they're ambassadors or presidents of countries, prime ministers, country, they asked me this question, how did America turn out? Two generations of young people who are predominantly anti American or at least more over American anti American than any other time in history. A lot of people turn around and say it's our education system. Our next guest has some pretty big thoughts on this. Joining us is the president, president of Cornerstone University, Jershan Marino. Rihanna. Sean, great to have you on the show.
Jershan Marino
Thank you so much. It's great to be here. Thank you.
John Solomon
Yeah. So I want to take a look at the last year, the political violence keeps mounting. We've had two or three assassination attempts on President Trump. Most of them are children that had or young people, young adults that had good education. So they're smart people. But they seem to think that killing a president is somehow a moral good thing. How did we get to this point in our American experience?
Jershan Marino
I think for decades, the American higher ed system has rejected character, moral formation as part of education. It's focused on competence and skills. Those are important things. But when you graduate, men and women who are competent but lack character, lack moral focus, more direction. It's a terrible thing we've done to ourselves. And it's because higher education for decades has rejected God, truth, beauty and goodness. In 1983, the president of John Hopkins, speaking at the 350th anniversary of Harvard University, said that American higher education had become godless, had thrown away God in foundational moral, Christian values. And it needed a new core, a new value system, but didn't have one. That was 40 years ago and it hasn't changed. It's just gotten worse. And we need to Go back to the foundational truths of being made in God's image, beauty, truth, goodness, and the fundamental principles that on which our great universities many, many years ago were built. We've rejected those and we need to go back to those very quickly so that we can protect and save our country. So important.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Jershan, I want to ask you about something that I'm afraid is quite prevalent. I was speaking to a very impressive young man today who's two years graduated from Chapman University, but he's now on the legal team suing Chapman for their support of pro Palestinian protesters two or three years ago and their blocking of pro Jewish supporters. He said. He said this is not always the case, but it seems like it happens a lot. And it happened at Chapman University. He said, a lot of times these especially incoming freshmen, he said, they don't have a lot of friends. They don't feel, you know, socially accepted into a group yet. And he said, for me, speaking as a guy, you go up, you go, and you show up to meet girls. So sometimes it sounds like it's not even that malevolent, but you have these people who are seizing on the opportunity to coddle these minds and to inculcate them. Does that happen a lot?
Jershan Marino
Yeah, look, I mean, there's a crisis of loneliness in our country among young people. Almost every, every cohort in America is experiencing a significant amount of loneliness and a lack of community. So when you're lacking community, this fundamental human bond, it's easy then for you to plug in or get plugged into the wrong groups in the wrong communities and they can manipulate you or can share with you biased ideological indoctrination, kinds of information and you get pulled, pulled. And you don't have the moral compass and the wherewithal to defend what is true and to discern truth from falsehood, right? Good from evil. That happens a lot, there's no doubt about it. Especially if the place where young people and adults are receiving their information, information are the echo chambers of social media, right? That just poisons our thinking and misguides us. And consequently it's so important then for universities and every part of the educational system. K12 recapture re envision the importance of the beautiful, the true and the good and God at the center of humanity and human purpose and educate students, children and adults and young adults in that direction. It's doable, but we have to have that vision, that focus. If we think education is nothing more than power indoctrination, then it's easy for young people who are alone to get plugged into or sucked into those echo chambers are destructive and then before they know it, they're a part of something that can be very dark and evil.
John Solomon
Before we let you go, Gershon, one of the solutions that has been most impactful in the education world has been competition with whether it's charter schools or school choice or new universities cropping up, how important is it to keep that competition going? And what does, what can government do to spur more of that competition?
Jershan Marino
In some ways, you know, I think what President Trump has done, even with the Compact of Higher Ed, his work in the Department of Education has been to really create a more competitive environment that allows for more innovation as well. I think the calling of American Pirate has begun. You have a lot of schools closing, even in K12 areas. But that in many ways is a good thing. It opens the opportunity for other appropriate solutions for a republic to have energy and to compete in the market and opens the door for innovation. Before that, before the president, now you really didn't have it. Accrediting agencies now are paying much more attention to that new landscape, opening the door for competition, innovation that will actually help us tremendously whether it's in decay 12 and higher ed. So I welcome it. I think we should all welcome it. And the hope is that that innovation and competition will bring forth great solutions, not just for the immediate future, but for a long term future of our country.
John Solomon
Yeah. So important we may be living in historic times. It may be a historic moment for our education system. Right?
Jershan Marino
Absolutely.
John Solomon
Corner president of Cornerstone University, Jershon Moreno Riano. What a great honor to have you on today. Thanks for joining us.
Jershan Marino
Thank you both.
John Solomon
Yeah. What a great conversation. Thank you. All right, folks, you know I've been big on collagen. You know, I've been on getting my blood pressure down, losing some of that weight. I heart Radio. Welcome back America. For the past year and a half, we've talked a lot about collagen and why so many adults are using it to support healthy aging, mobility, skin health and recovery. But today's conversation goes one layer deeper because according to my next guest, even with the great nutrition and supplementation, many people may still be missing one of the most important pieces of the equation popular cellular hydration. Joining me now is our good friend Dr. Chad Walding, Co founder of one of our great partners here at Just the News Native Path. Dr. Chad, great to have you back on the show.
Dr. Chad Walding
Great to be here, John. Thank you.
John Solomon
All right. I've been on this research the last few weeks. This is pretty exciting to me. So collagen we know works, we see the benefits. I personally use it. It's fantastic. There's a missing piece, right? Because collagen has become one of the most popular wellness products in America among adults over 50. What are you seeing?
Dr. Chad Walding
Well, we're seeing that collagen absolutely helps support healthy aging. It provides important amino acids that support skin, joints, connective tissues, bones, and recovery. And a lot of people notice improvements in skin appearance, nail strength, joint comfort, flexibility, and overall mobility. So lots of benefits with collagen.
John Solomon
So what is that missing piece? I've been studying up on this, on the hydration. It's so fascinating. Walk us through this.
Dr. Chad Walding
Well, the missing piece is, you know, the hydration. You know, that that's the missing thing that most people are missing. That's the common assumption that if they drink plenty of water, they're okay. But hydration is much more than water intake. True. Hydration happens inside the cells, and that process requires electrolytes and amino acids to help move and retain fluids where the body can actually need them and utilize them.
John Solomon
Them. Yeah. And as we get older, that process of cellular hydration gets harder to do, is that correct?
Dr. Chad Walding
Exactly. Especially as we age, the body becomes less efficient at regulating fluid balance and retaining water and responding to thirst signals. And that way, you know, it affects your energy, it can affect recovery, joint comfort, getting the skin appearance, and how efficiently nutrients like collagen are actually utilized.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Yeah.
John Solomon
Amazing. All right, so talk a little bit about this incredible new product that you've created called hydrate. This is very exciting.
Dr. Chad Walding
Exactly. So we created native hydrate specifically to support cellular hydration, not just fluid intake. It combines electrolytes with all nine essential amino acids to help the body absorb and retain hydration more effectively.
John Solomon
Amino acids are super important. A lot of people probably haven't heard about them since their biology class. But how do they play a role, particularly in the hydration of your cells?
Dr. Chad Walding
Yeah. So amino acids help facilitate fluid transport into cells and help maintain hydration balance. And most hydration products focus only on electrolytes or sugar based energy formulas. And we design native hydrate differently. It supports hydration at a cellular level without any added sugars, artificial dyes, or unnecessary fillers.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Yeah.
John Solomon
Pretty exciting. And then that collagen that we're already taking, it actually has even a greater benefit when it's combined with native hydrate. Correct?
Dr. Chad Walding
Exactly. They pair perfectly together. So think of it this way. Collagen provides the building materials. Native hydrate helps create the environment where the body can actually use those materials more efficiently. And that's why many people feel better overall when they focus on hydration first.
John Solomon
Yeah. What an important concept. And I think people are starting to realize that this is another part of that getting on the right path. On that path. Talk a little bit. We know exactly how we do collagen. I do it every day in my coffee in the morning. One scoop. I'm good. It's the easiest thing in the world. Talk a little bit about how you build native hydrate into our routines.
Dr. Chad Walding
Well, it's easy. Anytime you're thirsty, you can use it. You can use it first thing in the morning. People love to. To use it in their workouts. You can use it before you go to bed. You know, the heat is coming up. So it's a great way to stay hydrated and cool as the summer months are coming in. But mixing with water is the absolute easiest way to do it.
John Solomon
Yeah. And you can take it more than once a day if you feel the need for it, Correct?
Dr. Chad Walding
Absolutely. Take it all you feel like you need.
John Solomon
Yeah, that's a pretty cool thing. And you got great taste, everything. It works great in this. What's the biggest learning for people? I think as we get older, I mean, we know that the things that our parents went through, that we saw all right, we got the arthritis, we've got the cricket back, and we're walking with a limp. But internally, we don't think a lot about what's going on in our body. How much has the research changed in recent years when it comes to cellular hydration? It seems like that's an area of a lot of recent good study that shows the benefits of. Of focusing on that as you get older.
Dr. Chad Walding
Exactly. And it affects so many things that people are unaware of. You know, your energy, the afternoon crashes that people have can often be related to poor hydration. If you're having trouble recovering your endurance levels, even your mental clarity, how fatigued you are, and just your overall feeling during the day all relates back to the levels of hydration you have. And I'm a physical therapist, so I'm always looking out for joint health. Your joints need to be hydrated. They need synovial fluid. And if you don't have that, it leads to things like arthritis and poor independent function in your body.
John Solomon
Yeah. It's so remarkable to realize that this is something that was probably not on a lot of our radars for a long time, but now we realize it plays a really big impact in trying to help us fight those impact of aging. It's pretty remarkable. Before we let you go, how do people go about getting that native hydrate?
Dr. Chad Walding
Well, we're going to put a link here, and people can see nativehydrate.com justnews. You can go there. You can learn more about native hydrate. We got different flavors. You can choose from. Tangerine is my favorite, but I highly recommend it. You can learn more there and purchase there.
John Solomon
Yeah. So important and I think now we're learning as we get into further down the path that it's not only what supplements you take but also how well your body can utilize them. This is the ingredient that makes sure we get maximum benefit from those supplements. Right?
Dr. Chad Walding
Exactly. And I want to say this is not just a hydration product. This is a feel good product. You know, we put the amino acids in there, we put B vitamins in there, all the electrolytes. And the best part about it is it's clean. There's no artificial ingredients. Everything is as clean, close to nature as possible. So you get the best results possible.
John Solomon
Yeah. Just like your grass fed collagen. I Love that path. Dr. Chad, always great to have you on the show. Thanks so much for bringing us up to speed on this.
Dr. Chad Walding
Thank you, John. Good to be here.
John Solomon
Yeah, you as well. What a great conversation. All right folks, to our viewers, if you'd like to learn more about native hydrate in today's special offer, visit nativehydrate.com justnews just like the doctor said. Nativehydrate.com all right, we got more for you right after the break.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Welcome back everybody. It is the final segment of the show and this kind of seems like a let them eat cake moment, John, because I have a dear friend of mine in Los Angeles and she's from New York. Her family had a, has a bodega in the Bronx and they're American porter, Puerto Rican Americans. They love this country. They are small business owners. They love what the American dream represents and they are absolutely terrified of what these government run grocery stores are going to do to their business. And Mayor Mamdani had something interesting to say to justify how it's not going to affect them. Check it out.
Mayor Mamdani
What Jeannie has said is something that I will also restate, which is that oftentimes the items that drive most profit for these kinds of entities are also not the items that these city run grocery stores are going to be selling. We're not going to be selling lottery tickets. We're not going to be selling a lot of the things that make the margin, whether it's tobacco products or, or things of that nature. And so we're excited to continue to have that conversation and we take any concern seriously. And I what I will also say is that our commitment to New Yorkers is to deliver them affordable groceries and we are very excited about doing that.
Co-Host Amanda Head
John. It seems to me that wealthy New Yorkers, they will leave, they will go to places like Florida, poor New Yorkers will suffer and you know, middle of the road New Yorkers are going to suffer.
John Solomon
Yeah. But also shows you how out of touch the mayor is. And he thinks that lottery tickets are the reason that grocery stores have in bodegas are so important to the folks of New York City. Yeah. As I said, the best thing that they can do is just keep that man down to keep talking because it's the best ad for freedom and capitalism that ever was.
Co-Host Amanda Head
And speaking of AOC going down to Alabama to rally in the redistricting brawl. And I saw a lot of comments from my fellow Alabamians saying yes, please, more of this because you are going to do nothing but turn off Alabamians.
John Solomon
Oh yeah, yeah. That's again, free advertising for the Republican Party, compliments of the Democratic Party. It's crazy. You want to show that clip of the.
Co-Host Amanda Head
I did indeed. Because you teased it at the top of the show, guys. Luigi Mangione's trial. And you know, for those of us in press badges, there is a decorum, there is a responsibility of neutrality that you're supposed to have a smart especially when you are wearing that press badge. But I guess that's out the window. Check it out. His children are better off without him.
Luigi Mangione's Team Member
They need to learn to not be
Co-Host Amanda Head
like their dad and enjoy the blood money. Kids. Was that. What was that? I didn't get that.
Luigi Mangione's Team Member
But you said I'm standing on business. Brian Thompson. I don't give a Millions of Americans I liked it. Millions of Americans suffer every single day from the last when it comes to United Healthcare, we had a literal named baby Sella who because of how negligent her health insurance was, she died. An infant died.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Either that woman doesn't have a relationship with her father or she hates her father. I can't imagine saying something so vile about a man's children.
John Solomon
Yeah, well, they're celebrating a cold blooded murder on the streets of New York. And that is what the left has become. Or I mean, who knows who these people are, but it is very, very concerning. And that's why we're starting to normalize the abnormal. We're starting to make it sound like murdering someone on the street is a good thing and that we're protecting his children. Come on folks, this is absolute insanity and it needs to be called out every time someone makes a stupid comment like that.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Well, it's terrifying because poll after poll after poll shows that an increasing number of Americans on the left think that political violence is justified.
John Solomon
20, 25%. I think among young people it's crazy.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Not the Avelian mentality that the ends justify.
Body by Jake Radio Announcer
Very dangerous.
John Solomon
Lethal.
Co-Host Amanda Head
Very dangerous. All right, everybody, on that happy note, we'll be out for tonight. We'll be back tomorrow night at 6pM Eastern. Thanks for being here, and we will see you then.
