We've spent a lot of time talking about the corruption and fraud in Minnesota. But don't worry, there's corruption and fraud elsewhere that we also have to get to. Also, you know, coincidentally in deep blue states, AOC spends lavishly on really, really, really nice hotels and restaurants and first class treatment. Of course, as every socialist does. There are now receipts. And is there a new process, a new policy in place potentially for people wanting to come to the United States on travelers visas? It sounds like a great idea to me. All that more coming up on this episode of Turning Point Tonight. My name is Joe. Bob. Thanks so much for tuning in. Together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback. This is Turning Point Tonight. Before we get to any of that, obviously got to remind you, TPTP USA.com we got a ton of emails yesterday. I hate to say it, I don't, I don't want to be boisterous, but they all agreed with everything I said, most specifically on whether or not we should make it a law to make it so that criminals that illegals who overstay deportation notices are criminals. Interestingly enough, everybody agrees on that. Who, who would have thought that? But if you do disagree or if you do have any thoughts, comments, concerns about the show, TPTP USA.com is the email address. Also go subscribe to our Turning Point Tonight YouTube channel, which is growing by leaps and bounds. The Rumble channel, the Facebook channel. All of these social media platforms of Turning Point Tonight are shooting through the roof and you don't want to be the last person there who doesn't subscribe to the Turning Point Tonight online social media content machine. Just type in J O B O B. Again, admittedly very weird. Name one grandpa was Joe, the other one was Bob. So my parents combined them. But it does help a lot when it comes to trying to find things on the Internet. Just type in J O B O B. All of the social media platforms you will find us pretty much anywhere. And you also get an exclusive online only segment that we just don't have time here to do, which is it's mostly been me venting my frustrations of living in a deep blue state and how society is crumbling and we have to save California if we possibly can. But you can only get that on the Turning point tonight. One last point segment only on our turning point tonight, YouTube and rumble and Facebook networks, social media platforms. It is time to get to this. We've spent countless hours talking about Governor Tim Walz and the massive rampant fraud going on in the state of Minnesota with where predominantly Somali immigrant illegals, fraudsters stole a billion dollars from not only the taxpayers of Minnesota, but you, the taxpayer, to the federal government who subsidized a bunch of the money stolen from Minnesota. Now we're not going to dig in any more to Minnesota even though I'm sure there's a lot more to get to because unfortunately we have to turn our gaze to another deep blue state run by Governor Hairspray, sorry, Governor Gavin Newsom, also affectionately known on this show as Governor Hairspray. Governor Gavin Newsom is apparently, according to the LA Times, which by the way, is no conservative right wing publication. It's the LA Times pointed out massive fraud going on in their county fairgrounds, which was really, really interesting to take a look at. Now the fraud is not nearly as big because, you know, the one that's happening in Minnesota under Governor Tim Walls is well, the biggest defrauding of American taxpayers in the history. So it's not, not really comparable to that, but it still is a huge problem in the deep blue state of California where millions of dollars are allegedly being stolen in the local fairground municipalities which are run by predominantly by the state. California operates 77 local fairgrounds across the state and that generates about $400 million in annual revenue. These fares, of course, are cherished, classic events that Californians love to get together to go to. I'm not dissing the county fairs as the actual event. It's the fair grounds where they are run. We've been doing fairs in this state in this godforsaken hellhole of a state called California, which again, if you don't know, I live in California and that's its own thing, but a separate conversation for a different time. We've been doing county fairs since 1854 when the first fair was held in San Francisco. The state oversees 52 fairgrounds, effectively directly through the district agriculture associations, which the boards are appointed by the governor. The greasy Haired hairspray Governor Gavin Newsom of California. So he appoints the directors to the majority of these county fairs. 25 additional ones work as like network fairs is no reason to explain kind of the intricacies of that. Basically the bottom line is California has 77 fairgrounds and according to the LA Times, about a third of them are stealing money from the taxpayers. Who I. I'm just shocked. TBT tpusa.com Send us an email. Are you also shocked that there's more corruption and fraud in another deep blue state run by a woke Governor? I just completely shocking and surprising to me. Over the past decade, at least 25 fares have been accused by prosecutors, state auditors or government officials of misusing taxpayer money. Again, another total and complete shock. They're also accused of pressuring businesses for bribes or treating public resources like their own. State and county leaders overseeing these fares, lo and behold, have failed to intervene. Who could have seen this coming? Also, these are the people that were appointed by Governor Hairspray himself. Even they, they fail to intervene even when auditors say, hey, um, there's a big problem, problem over here. Maybe we should take a look at this. And they say, ah, who, who wants to look at that? It reminds me of another big massive billion dollar fraud and another deep blue state run by another potentially gay governor. Oh, Governor Tim Walls in Minnesota. I think we've been talking about that consistently. There are people in his state going, hey, hundreds of millions of dollars being stolen over here. Maybe we should take a look at it. Ah, don't, don't worry about it. Workers from at least four fairgrounds have been criminally prosecuted in the recent years for theft, bribe, bribery and embezzlement with more than a million dollars of public funds just being stolen. And again, there are whistleblowers going, hey, look over here, this is, this is happening. And the directors appointed by the governors go, ah, who cares? At the Humboldt County Fairground, a former bookkeeper pled guilty to stealing $430,000 from the Fair and was arrested at a local casino. At the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, the event director demanded secret cash payments from security contractors in order to keep their contract during the COVID 19 event shutdowns. In other words, the security contractor said, hey, hey, can we, can we just, can we make sure my taxpayer money contract continues going even though there's no events? And the event coordinator said, yeah, we, we can, but might need a little bit of a kickback there. Again, all going on under the nose of Governor Hairspray in California. Public funds, the LA Times alleges, have been spent in violation of state rules and people are using them for their own personal benefit. The directors of these organizations, including prime rib steak dinners, fancy wine, fancy wines and all, while the fairgrounds are crumbling in despair. Again, I don't know if you see kind of a recurring theme here. California roads. Despite the fact that California's vehicle registration is 10 times, 20 times they are in other states, the roads are actually terrible. And the governor continues to go to nice fancy restaurants when he tells all of you to stay home. It's happening kind of across the state, it seems that's and so odd. At the Kern county fair, a 2019 audit found that top officials allowed gross mismanagement to go unchecked for years while board members feasted on lobster dinners and fine wines with their fair funds from the state. Ventura county suffered a cash heist. And across California, problems with kickbacks and corruption schemes are continuing to pop up over and over and over again. At the San Diego County Fair, a carnival company was paid $500,000 to settle a lawsuit alleging that they engaged in bid ridding for a multiple multimillion dollar contract. This happens unfortunately so often with government contractors. And by the way, the libs love to point this out with military contractors. And you know, if they have a point, they have a point. But at the same time, if it's going on in your state as well, including fairground amusement companies, look, these are big bids, these are big dollar bids. And if somehow there's a circular loop of kickbacks going from, hey, if you win this bid, I kind of expect something on the back end. And unfortunately it appears to be par for the course by the governor appointed directors, it would seem in the state of California. Again, all under the nose of Governor Gavin Newsom. There's a couple more examples here. San Diego county judge wrote that evidence supports interference and favoritism fraud regarding these public contracts. The other bigger thing here too is this is not new. The LA Times points out that this has been going on for effectively decades and nobody has done anything to stop it. In a at the 1986 state audit, it detailed similar problems again decades ago, including state funds being spent on parties, meals, expensive custom belt buckles. Because you know, how can you run a fair if you have an off the rack boilerplate belt buckle? You got it. You got to get one of these big fancy belt buckles like they do in Texas. But look again, who expects the board of directors to pay for that? It's got to be the taxpayer that's on the bill, on the, that's footing the bill for these custom belt buckles. So this has been going on for a very, very long time. And at the same time, the state county fairs, the fair grounds, if you've ever unfortunately been to a California state fair, the fairgrounds are, let's just say, dilapidated, to say the least. Plagued by leaky roofs, corroded electrical systems, faulty plumbing and dangerously dilapidated grandstands. The worst story out of this article from the LA Times, I believe is this. Last year, Shasta county paid $300,000 to settle a lawsuit after sheriff's deputies were dispatched across Northern California to seize a nine year old girl's pet goat named Cedar. By the way, they point out that little detail for butchering after she tried to back out of the fair's agricultural program. In other words, this nine year old girl says, hey mommy, I don't really want to go to the fair today. Then the Shasta County Sheriff's Department, I guess said, okay, let's punish this girl. Let's go take her goat and butcher it again. Crazy. What's going on? Under the nose, allegedly of Governor Hairspray, I. E. Governor Gavin Newsom. Now don't Tory. It gets worse. Despite all of these things, the California fairgrounds are getting more taxpayer money because they're saying, hey, you know what, we actually can be useful as well. Emergency hubs in case something goes wrong. And unfortunately in California natural disasters, because they don't do any sort of vegetation management because their fire hydrants are empty, they don't have water throughout the system because of all of these things. Big fires happen all the time in California and the fairgrounds say, well, you know, who can help us? Despite all of these scandals, fairgrounds have allegedly served as community hubs in increasingly important in natural disasters. During California's recent wildfires, the fairgrounds in Butte county were the homes of like 600 people after the California 2018 campfire. Now, not saying that's necessarily bad, but despite all of the fraud, these fairgrounds are getting rewarded for their attempts to help with an emergency. And therefore the state recently awarded tens of millions of dollars to upgrade the fairground facilities for emergency use. Now, of course, the obvious question for fiscal hawks like myself is, all right, I would like a line item list of what they spent that money on because given the fact that there apparently is a culture of fraud and using taxpayer dollars for the board who was appointed by Governor Newsom, I don't know, to go have nice fancy dinners, to go eat at the French laundry to go unmasked when all of the good folks of California were told to stay home or else they're going to kill grandma. Maybe if there is that culture that exists among the California fairground operators. I don't know if giving him tens of millions of dollars is such a great idea. I just. Look at, look just, I'm just throwing it out there. If you have a history of stealing money, maybe, maybe we shouldn't give you more money. But of course that is what California seems to be doing now, I guess to make the, the opposite point, the obvious but also the opposite point. If I were engaged in corrupt, fraudulent stealing of taxpayer dollars, yeah, I too would lobby for more money from the state. So saying hey, we can also help with emergencies. Yeah, that, that, that's what we're gonna help with, emergencies. And the California legislature apparently goes, yeah, yeah, sure, that's go ahead and help with emergency. I wonder, I wonder there's any kickbacks going around in that circular industry there. State auditors have accused officials of dozens of the fares misspending millions basically to the point in the culmination of all of this, uh, there's been a couple million dollars that have been found actually convicted people of stealing this money. But state auditors say there is a ton more out there that is going entirely unchecked. Again under the nose of Governor King Dictator Gavin Newsom. I believe that's his full title. I'm not entirely sure. And again, this is just one facet of a massive government system that apparently appears to be incredibly corrupt, rife with fraud. And it's just one thing. There's a lot of other different apart departments around the nation's poopiest state of California that I can almost guarantee there's stuff there as well. Very, very similar to this. But like I said, sometimes it's honestly not enough time in the day to go around and call out all of the fraud and all of the deep blue states we've been spending on so much time on Minnesota, because that's a billion dollars then. Oh well, it's a couple million in the state of California. I mean, yes, that is a big deal. That's why we're talking about it here. But I think the broader point we're trying to make is this is a culture of how these libs operate the government. What's good for me, I'll try to hide under the guise is what's good for the people. And then once I get into office, let's start siphoning some money somewhere. How Can I get rich? That is what so many of the libs who are in public service or government bureaucrats think about how they should spend your taxpayer dollars. It is ridiculous. It is absurd. We should call it out wherever we see it. And unfortunately, it's honestly too much going on to even catch. If you know of anything like this, let us know tptp USA.com also tptp USA.com given the fact that that stuff like this is happening in California, stuff like this is happening in Minnesota, should there be a push from the Trump administration or from the federal government to, I don't know, maybe withhold some of the federal government money that is going to these states? We talked last week about how Governor Hairspray is in Washington, D.C. sorry, Governor Newsom, I those words are interchangeable to me. Well, we've talked about how he was in Washington, D.C. begging the Trump administration for, for $40 billion to help rebuild after the California fires that happened earlier this year. And while I do have sympathy for the people that suffered during the fires that it seems to be were very preventable. Who trusts the state of California with $40 billion? Let us know tbtpc.com should there be a push to withhold some of this money from these states that have been utterly corrupt and fraudulent, let us know at the email tbt tbusa.com also go subscribe to our Turning Point Tonight YouTube channel where you get an extra segment of the show. Coming up, one Congresswoman Aoc apparently is a big and lavish spender when it comes to using her campaign money to do fun things for herself and her staff, I. E. Her friends. Who could have seen that coming. Also, a potentially new policy when it comes to issuing visas for people trying to come to the United States on vacation. What do you have to disclose in order to get this visa? I'm actually thinking this is a pretty good idea and I hope it actually comes to fruition that more coming up on this episode of Turning Point tonight. We'll be right back after the break. I think we've all sat here and we've heard you talk about your jet and Maui and your three homes and the money that sits in your account that you don't care to touch. I think we all have experienced at some point in time that moment that you talked about as a kid sitting there hoping and praying that somebody would help you. So I guess my question that you didn't really answer, you just told me how much you have. What stops you from helping every person in this room that's struggling right now that can't pay a bill, had to miss out on work. How do you help them? What do you do? Cause you got a private jet. But I had to take off from work today and I'm struggling and I got bills, man. And I'm not begging for money, but I'm saying, what stops you from being able to go and help us and change our lives? Because.

Let me translate. I hate you and all that you're worth. Ooh, $100. Sorry. Actually, no, he's actually upstanding, good American, cinnamon, likable guy. He is. This guy lives folding over $100. That is. That's so classic. You're a bad person. Wait, you'll give me a hundred bucks? Let me rethink that. Actually, I think he might be a great person. Hilarious, but also not surprising, which kind of falls in line to what we want to talk about next. Congresswoman Aoc. We've talked about her spending habits in the past. When she went on tour on the Stop Oligarchy tour with Senator Bernie Sanders, they flew on a private jet and stayed in super swanky, nice hotels all around the country, which is what, you know, you do inherently when you're a socialist fighting for, you know, poor people fighting against the oligarchy. But in order to fight against the oligarchy, we have to live like the oligarchy. I, I guess. Well, new reports have come out with AOCs spending habits this time in particular in Puerto rico. During the third quarter of 2025, Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez campaign spent very, very heavily in Puerto Rico where I guess she makes frequent trips because she represents the people of New York. So I don't know, I'm not entirely sure why you're going to Puerto Rico to begin with. But between July 1st 1st and September 30th, AOC, his campaign spent almost 50,000, $50,000 on hotels, meals and venue rentals in Puerto Rico. I pause right here. I, I wish I was born rich enough to be a socialist. Now I unfortunately, you know, was born in a general middle class family, unlike aoc, who was born north of the city, lived in a very nice town and I think went to private school. Unlike Mamdani, was very, very wealthy growing up, has his own private compound in the country that he was born, which is not the United States. So there's that. I wasn't born wealthy enough to be a socialist. Let us know tbtbsa.com do you wish you were born with a silver spoon to allow you to become a socialist nowadays and not have any concept of how the real world actually works? Anyways, sorry. Tangent going back to the story of AOC spending a freaking boatload of money. The campaign's lodging expenses in puerto Rico total $15,489. What, what hotel are you paying $15,000 thousand dollars for? Let's just break that out, right? If you rent, I don't know, a three or four bedroom apartment for you and your staff for a month, A month. Let's just say even six months. That's not $15,000. Did you spend six months in Puerto Rico? Like what, what do you spend $15,000 on? In Puerto Rico, the hostels included first class adults only. Hotel policyo provincial. I think I'm. I don't know, I'm not pronouncing that right. With payments of 680 bucks. 1500 dollars. 9044 dollars across three separate dates. The 9444 dot, $9440 is the one that kind of jumps to mind here. What, what are we spending that on? How does that work? The campaign also spent $3,800 on Aug. 25 at another hotel. There's a bunch of details on the hotel doesn't actually matter. But another three grand, at least $10,700 was spent on meals and catering services on August 25 and September 29. So, okay, $10,000 dinner bill, or let's be charitable, let's split that in two because they're two separate dates. Okay, so $5,300 spent on dinner, dinner both of those nights for two days. Or are we feeding the entire island Puerto Rico? Like, what is happening here? The campaign spent more than $23,000 renting out a big concert venue on June 24th and 25th or August 25th, interestingly enough. That's the same concert venue where Bad Bunny was performing several days later, I believe. And AOC was spotted there dancing to Bad Bunny at that same venue. Although to be fair, because, you know, because we are fair, there's no actual expenses directly related that we, that anybody can tie. It's just kind of all circumstantial. The bottom line is she spent 50,000 freaking dollars. This is in addition to a bunch of the other money spent on her Fight Oligarchy tour, which we talked a little bit briefly in this segment, but also in the past. Go find out for the more specifics there. The Burlington stay on the Fight Oligarchy tour with Senator Bernie Sanders spent 6,600 bucks. $6,600 on a hotel in Vermont campaign. Paid $2,000 for a Central park hotel in Manhattan and $3,000 in Brooklyn for more NYC hotel accommodations. One meal at an Italian restaurant in the D.C. navyard cost $6,300, again billed to AOC's campaign. Another $11,000 was spent dining across D.C. vermont, Bronx and Latham, New York. Bottom line is, why is it that the socialists always make a ton of money? Does anybody? I don't even want to. Of course you've heard of this theme. Tptpusa.com what do you think about the fact that all of these socialist quote unquote leaders, especially on the lib side, end up fantastically wealthy and have very, very fine and expensive tastes? Again, I wish, I wish that I was born rich enough to be able to look at the country, to look at the world in a way that doesn't actually make sense to real everyday ways people spend money. I wish I was born rich enough to one think that spending $5,000, $6,000 in some cases on dinner is normal. Look, my family goes out to dinner and there was a running joke, you know, before Bidenflation took place and everything shot up, me and my wife like could not spend more than $50 at dinner and not like could not spend, you know, from our frugality standpoint, like literally couldn't do it. Like, we don't order an appetizer. Generally we'll share a meal. And so like we don't buy drinks at restaurants because we're, because we're frugal. But also like we just, we couldn't actually get to $50. I couldn't even, I don't even know what it's like to be at a dinner where you spend $6,000. That's, that's what, that's what the average American family household brings in at a month spent on a dinner by a freaking socialist. I don't know. What are your thoughts? Tptp USA.com Any other socialist Congress people, senators that interestingly enough, have an exorbitant amount of money. We've talked about Bernie Sanders who has three homes and is worth several million dollars, you know, to fight the oligarchs. Liz Warren is one of them. Any others that jump to mind that spend a ton of money that they claim to be fighting for the lower or even the middle class and they just kind of don't anyways, tptbusa.com also go subscribe to our Turning Point tonight. Get YouTube channel. Coming up, a policy proposition for people trying to get to the United States on vacation visas. This sounds like an incredible idea. I would love to hear your thoughts on the upcoming story, but any of the things we talked about already. Tptpa.com is the email address. We will be right back after the break. Don't go away.

Oh, oh, oh. O'Reilly Auto Parts. NCTC reference the unfortunate accident that occurred with National Guardsmen being killed. You think that was an unfortunate accident? I mean, it was a terrorist. Wait, wait, look, I'll get it straight. Then you can.
Grainger Advertiser
He shot our National Guardsman in the head.
Joe Bob
Look, Mr. Chairman, will you direct the witness to allow me to ask my question? It was an unfortunate situation, but you blamed it solely on Joe Biden. So that is Congressman Bernie Thompson saying that the shooting that killed one National Guardsman and hopefully the other one still kind of, you know, hoping that the other National Guardsman survives, shot two National Guardsmen in the head. But Representative Bernie Thompson says, just an unfortunate accident. Ah. Don't you, don't you hate when accidents like that happen? You've got a Muslim extremist driving across the country from his home, literally in the farthest point away in the United States, Bellingham, Washington, drives across the country, just accidentally shoots two people in the head. I hate when that happens. It's just an accident. Oh, also, this is. This is. Can be. This can be a whole thing in and of itself. This is relatively telling. If this is the way that libs think guns work, it makes their argument not defensible by any stretch of the imagination, but more understandable. If you think, oh, somebody shooting National Guardsmen in the head as a terrorist act. It's just. As an accident. It's an unfortunate circumstance. It's an. It's an unfortunate accident. If that's what you think, then I obviously don't agree with your argument, but it's. It's just stupid enough to make sense in their own head. Wow. We can go on and on about that. But then I guess this culminating point is you blame Joe Biden. Yeah. Because Joe Biden is the one to blame. I don't. Okay, yes, correct. Congressman, speaking of Joe Biden and blaming him for things, the obvious rampant illegal immigration coming into this country with where we just effectively didn't have a border wall and people came into the country whenever they wanted to because for some reason we decided for four years to just lose our ever loving minds in. So, because we have to reverse all of that, there is a new policy proposal coming from the Department of Homeland Security that would require foreign tourists to disclose their social media history before coming into the United States. In other words, hey, if you posted on social media that, yeah, you'd like to see death to America, you. You chanted that in the streets of whatever godforsaken country you came from. Yeah. You should probably disclose that to United States of America. We should probably be aware of that before we let you into the country, even on a vacation visa. Because like we mentioned yesterday and we talked about exclusive or extensively on the show, that, well, overstaying a visa is only a civil penalty. It's not actually a crime. And even though Congress should do something about that and they should do something about that, like yesterday, they thus far haven't. So, yeah, if we're going to issue visas to people and they're going to stay, and that's not going to be a quote unquote, criminal offense, of course. I think it is. And I know you think it Is. But that legally speaking, then yeah, maybe we should know if they hate the country that they probably plan on staying in overstaying that visa. It applies to anybody filing for an electronic system for travel authorization, which is an application that is done kind of automatically online. It's an automated system that determines eligibility for visitors under the visa Waiver program. The Visa Waiver Waiver program currently allows people from 42 countries around the world to travel to the US for up to 90 days without a specific visa. Um, as long as they obtain this travel authorization first. So I guess. Sorry, I might have misspoke. It's a. It's a travel authorization that you have to get before you. You have to go through the entire visa process. Generally speaking, once this authorization is approved, it's good for up to two years and people can come here. Applicants would be required under this new policy to provide their social media history from the last five years. Again, to notify the people approving these authorizations whether or not they hate America or whether or not they're going to try and encourage the downfall of the west more broadly. Even visitors from countries like Britain and France, which. I like how this article sets it up. I believe this is New York Post saying even. Even countries like Britain or France, which by the way, might actually be Muslim extremists, considering that's a large percentage of the population over there, or at least growing to a point where many people are no longer comfortable with it. But even visitors from those countries whose citizens don't typically need visas to enter the UN US Would be subject to this rule. To which I say freaking good. Let us know tptpc.com what you think the White House says this policy would be to protect citizens from aliens who intend to commit terrorist acts, threaten our national security, espouse has hateful ideology, and otherwise exploit the immigration laws to benevolent purposes. Yes, correct. That's a. That's a great reason for wanting to do this. It makes a lot of sense. I don't know why we weren't doing it in the first place, but now that it's being proposed, this is good. The American public has 60 days from now to comment on the proposal, but lo and behold, there is lib controversy. They are saying this is a terrible thing. According to an immigration law expert, guy named Bo Cooper, the method involves looking at online speech, then denying travel based on discretion and policy. About the kinds of things that get said online. Yes. Mr. Cooper, people around the world don't have constitutional rights like we US Citizens do. The same constitutional rights are not afforded to people around the country who want to come here. So, yeah, we can pick and choose who. Who we should authorize to let into this country on some sort of a vacation or work trip or whatever it actually is. Yeah, we. We should be able to do that. He then goes on to say, it'll be interesting to watch the tourism numbers, alluding to the fact, well, this is gonna hurt tourism. To which I say, oh, yeah, totally. It's those people that hate America and hate Western values generally are the type of people that have a ton of money to just spend in the United States on tourism. Or it's not the people. The people that agree to Western values and want to uphold Western civilization generally are the people. That one won't be a problem with this. They're. They're going to be fine. They probably haven't espoused any hateful I hate America death to America speech online. Those are the people that actually have the money to do this. Remember, coming to the United States is not a cheap thing for people around the world. And if you're coming from a third world hellhole to, chances are you ain't got any money to spend here anyway, and you're more likely to not be authorized through this new policy and program. So I'm not entirely sure that making the argument that tourism will suffer. Oh, no, oh, no. More people from Eritrea or Somalia or any of these other hell holes can't come in the United. Oh, shucks, we're gonna really miss their 25 cents of contribution to the economy. This is really. This is really gonna kind of put a damper on the. It's not like those people have the money to spend like the socialist Congresswoman AOC does in Puerto Rico. Right. It's not like they have $50,000 of campaign money to blow here in the United States. I can almost guarantee you tourism is gonna be just fine. Mr. Cooper. Jeez. You know, I wanted to get to. Dang, There's. There's a lot to talk about. Kilmar Abrego Garcia is in the news, but I'm sure you've probably heard a bunch about that already. We don't need to belabor the point. Yeah, let's actually go to this. We'll be right back after the break. But I want to talk about the new Australian policy that went into effect yesterday, basically barring teens from having social media. If they can actually pull that off, I think that probably is a great idea here. We'll dig into what exactly it is. What exactly is going on down under and whether or not we think it'll actually work. That and more. TPTP USA.com do you think this policy is a good idea to say, hey yeah you can come over here but why don't you check, see what social media says before we allow you to come into a country that you claim to hate on the Internet? Is that a good policy? TPTP USA.com also go subscribe to the Turning Point Tonight YouTube channel and rumble channel and just type in J O B O B any social media platform you'll be able to find us. Charlie Kirk
Has like a very, very deep rooted system of like white supremacy and racism. It's like founded off genocide. Right.
Joe Bob
So do you think that they're fascist?
Charlie Kirk
Oh yeah, I don't care.
Joe Bob
And if you don't me asking what is a fascist?
Charlie Kirk
Oh my God, my brain just blanked. I'm like, I don't, I don't have the right word for it.
Guest or Caller
It's fine.
Joe Bob
I just want to know because I'm young. I shouldn't be educated. I want to be educated.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, more so it's like just like about being rooted in like, like a believing like that they are like bad like it comes from like being better. It comes from like wanting to like oh my God, my words are blanking on me right now. I've been screaming too much.
Joe Bob
What is a fascist if you have to like, you know, educate the youngins watching.
Charlie Kirk
Yeah, no, in a quick one too. I'm like, bro, Jesus, you've been screaming too long.
Joe Bob
You guys been screaming too long. Yeah, it's happens to me all the time. I scream too long and then I forget all of the ideological arguments and base points that I have in my brain. It's a common side effect, a common symptom of screaming too long at fascism. You forget what you know fascism is. I do appreciate this. Not entirely sure I like that guy. Appropriating my bit. If you, if you've, if you Follow us on social media turning point tonight just J o b o b any social media platform. We did this. I believe it was Northern Arizona University at a, at a Charlie event and this girl screaming, f all fascists. I don't exactly know what fascist means. Um, no, it's fine. He's, he's good. This good, good kid. Whoever this is, calling out the ridiculous nonsense on the lib side of the aisle. The problem is you've got so many young people who have no idea what they're talking about. Maybe those young people should mature just a little bit more before they're able to espouse their opinions online specifically, which is what is happening in Australia. Hundreds of thousands of teenagers woke up on Wednesday to find yesterday to find that their social media accounts have been logged out or deactivated. This marks the brand new law that anyone under the age of 16 is now banned from social media in Australia. Australia is now the first and only to do this of its kind, leaving the rest of the world to wonder, is this going to work? Is this a good idea? Should we do this in our country? I would love to hear your thoughts. There's some, there's some interesting perspectives on this. You got the libertarian laissez faire. No, no, just let the kids do whatever the kids are going to do. And then you got the more conservative, you know, people kind of tend to agree on a lot of different things, but the more conservative people saying, yeah, you should have parameters, you should have laws that don't let kids rot their brains on social media. Let us know what your thoughts are. Tptposa.com the measure was passed about a year ago and it affects 10 major platforms. Facebook, Instagram, Kik, Reddit, Snapchat threads, TikTok, Twitch X and YouTube. I am happy to report that I have in fact heard of all of these platforms. Sometimes I go, what is that? I don't even know what that is. And that, that's a little bit concerning to me. Now the question though is how is it actually going to be enforced? Because if it's anything like some of these systems that we have currently set up here, uh, specifically in the United States, we have systems set up to keep minors off of porn websites, which is good, by the way. I'm not making any sort of argument against that policy, but the enforcement mechanisms is. Are you 18? If so, go ahead and click here. If not, don't click. Because that, that, that's bad. If that's the kind of implementable way of enforcing this, then that's not gonna work. But interestingly enough Australia is putting that responsibility on the actual tech platforms themselves. Technology companies must identify and disable counts of Australians who are under the age of 16. Companies who fail to meet reasonable steps to remove underage users could face fines up to 50 million 49.5 effectively 50 million Australian dollars which of course you know, is much less than the United States because the Australian dollar is much weaker because we're a better country, we're more superior, we're dominant. We. Their, their dollar is less than ours, about $33 million in U.S. in other words, they are putting the responsibility on the actual tech platforms which is a thing that actually might work. So I am actually very curious to see where this goes. I think teenagers on social media, getting them off is probably a good thing and it'll be interesting to kind of see. You know, there's, there's a lot of thoughts we just don't have time to get to here. I think obviously one of Charlie's biggest strong suits was being able to reach the younger generation and you know, libs probably would be like hold on, people can't watch. Kids can't watch like 15, 14 year olds can't watch Charlie Kirk just wreck libs and their bad ideas. Maybe, maybe if we hide that from them that actually might be an incentive for us to ban this. I understand that argument. More broadly speaking, I think overall we can, well, maybe we agree, maybe we disagree. Let us know tptbc.com I am generally inclined to think, you know, on a baseline standpoint it would appear that not being on social media is better for the youth of this country. And I am for what is ever good for the young people in this country, especially to be propagated in a, in a, in a American loving, freedom loving American culture identifying system. So let us know tbt tpc.com should we attempt something like this in the United States? How do you think it's going to work in Australia? Do you think any of the big tech companies are actually, actually ever going to pay any of these fines or are they going to lobby their way out of it? Lots of thoughts on this. It's. I'm really, really actually interested to hear your thoughts on this. TPT@tpo.com is the email address if you'd like to send along your thoughts. We read emails in the next segment of the show. How freaking cute this is. I was on my walk and I saw this little sign with all these little flowers. So I went home and grabbed some money and now I'm gonna put some money in and take a little flower thing. How cute is this? Got myself some flowers. These are so freaking cute.
Joe Bob
All right, you know where, you know what will make that impossible to do? More diversity. More diversity will make that sort of thing not possible. And I'm not talking about race diversity. I'm talking about ideological diversity. You import a bunch of people from third world s holes, that sort of stuff goes away. And also, I don't know the politics of this young lady. I hope that she understands that freedom and the American way and American ideals are good and proper for the American nation. However, if I were to make an educated guess, these are the exact types of people that vote for we should let anybody into the country. None. None of our cultural norms will change if we let people who think stealing and corruption is totally fine. We'll still be able to have flower stands on our front lawns and be able to put money in a jar and nobody will steal any of the flowers or any of the money in the jar. Yeah, you know that. This is the type of person I feel like and I get I don't know, but I feel like this is that type of person that thinks those two conflicting thoughts at the same time. Anyways, let's get to your emails. TPTP USA.com if you'd like to send us along your thoughts on the topic yesterday of the big discussion early on in the show is whether or not people who overstay final deportation notices should be criminals and whether Congress should pass a law. John says move everyone who is here illegally out on criminal charges. I agree. Steve also agrees. Like I said earlier, pretty much everybody agrees on this. This is, this is like a, a layup. This is a no brainer. Pass a law making overstaying immigrant visas from a civil law into a criminal law. I support such a law. Mike says this or sorry, Mark says this. In his estimation, and your estimation is correct, sanctuary states and cities are unconstitutional. Therefore, yeah, go ahead and make it a criminal law to even be a sanctuary city. He also says this. Governor Pritzker on the other hand, should be replaced by a two year old. Illinois would be in a much, would be a much better state. As a guy with a 2 year old, I can confidently and definitively say that my 2 year old, if she were the governor of Illinois would eat less. I so I mean pretty much anybody being the governor of Illinois would probably eat less than Governor Pritzker there. But also to, to your point, she would actually run the state better. I think. She wouldn't act. She wouldn't actively create and sign policy against the American people so that at least she wouldn't do that. Colleen from Arizona says, Joe, Bob, how do we get this in front of representatives, in front of a few representatives? What we're doing, I believe we emailed Colleen bags and look, you're doing your part. I think she's, I forget what she, she's got a place in her local political organization. You're, you're actually, you're doing it. Each and every person here, if they have the ability, go ahead and call your congressman, send them a letter, whatever it is that you got to do, let them know, hey, we want people who overstay final deportation notices to be criminals. This isn't that difficult. Uh, and lastly on this topic, Richard says, yeah, the thing is, first of all, Congress is totally ineffective. That they were serious about making this country great. They would have passed this law way before this and they would send a bill to President Trump to sign. They sit on their asses and let the libs get away with anything they want. He goes on, but more specifically he says, I love this country. Conservatives, get your s together. Yeah. Agree. On the topic of Tim Walls masculinity. Tim Wall said no, they, they're scared of my masculinity. That's why they talk about me so much. Scott actually brings up a good point. Uh, I actually am terrified, terrified of getting Tim Walls girl, man, cooties. I. That is a, that is A very serious concern. Scott. Tim Walls does have girly man cooties and you may get them if you come in close contact. On the topic of Elon, well, Edward had a very nice long email. Ends with love the show. Thank you for your perspective. Really appreciate that Edward. But he is talking about Elon. Kind of just summarizing, characterizing it. Yeah, the, the creator is, is good. That's a, it's good that Elon is hopefully trending towards Christianity. And on the topic of 6 7, Robert says 6 7. Maybe it's a celebration that they finally had a ninth grader graduate to the seventh grade level. There's a very snarky and very appropriate email. Robert. I think he's playing on the fact that especially in deep blue cities nobody can read. I laugh because it's, you know, terrible. But yeah, that, that seems to be the case. Not entirely sure. Oh, so high schoolers. High schoolers using the whole 67 thing. They graduated from sixth grade to the seventh grade in their ability to read or do math. This, this is a little bit more serious. But I do, I do want to, I appreciate this perspective because I, I increasingly blame more things going wrong on demons. I just, that's just where I'm at in my own journey. But Brittany says this after looking at this further. It came from a rapper named Skrilla. Not sure who that person is. Turns out six seven summons the demons. He's a demon worshiper and even his music videos are very disturbing featuring demons satanic rituals. If that is true. Yeah, let's, let's go ahead and get rid of that. Good on you. In and out for banning the 67 number so that kids can cheer for apparently demons according to Brittany. Lastly, Laurie with some praise. You're so upbeat and pleasant. I thank you. I appreciate that. It's a pleasure to watch you in the evening. Helps you calm down and wind down. So thank you. That is what we aim to do here at Turning Point tonight. So Laurie, thank you so much. And on that note, that'll do it for us tonight on Turningpoint tonight. Tptpsa.com is the email. We will see you tomorrow same time actually different place where we'll be broadcasting from Phoenix, Arizona. Maybe we'll see. See you tomorrow. God bless America.
