Uh, first things first is this ridiculous situation that Governor Tim Walls has put himself in. It is not dance choreography that so though some of you may have thought that that is the case. But no it's actually fraud. Last week we brought a big, huge story about how a bunch of Somalis in Minnesota are defrauding the taxpayers of, of the great state of Minnesota and sending it to a terrorist organization, Al Shabaab in Somalia. Who could have seen that coming? It's the second time I've used that phrase. Maybe I should stop using the phrase because it's too repetitive. Or maybe it's appropriate considering all of the stinking things that everybody could have seen coming. But just to lay it out more broadly, if you don't remember last week's episode, there's a huge fraud scandal in Minnesota involving stealing government program money that was designed to feed the children during COVID 19. They also defrauded their housing systems. They also defrauded their health care systems, claiming a bunch of Somali kids had autism. I think it was four times higher than the national average, or at least the state average. Oh, these kids all have autism. Please give us money. And then they took that money and send it back to Somalia. Uh, but of course none of that happened because, well, you watched the mainstream media at least last week. Interesting updates this week. But last week, if you watch the mainstream media, none of that's happening. That's all just a figment of your imagination. All of the COVID money was spent efficiently and effectively to stop the Chinese bat fever, Foushee fever, whatever you want to call it. Well, dozens of people, as we reported last week, were indicted and then prosecuted and then found guilty of stealing hundreds of millions of dollars from the Minnesota taxpayer. Initially it appeared to be a one off pandemic abuse. Turns out, big scheme targeting Minnesota's safety net programs. Again, who could have seen people taking advantage of the safety net programs in one of your big blue states over a five year period? The fraud took root in the pocket of these Somali immigrants who have come to Minnesota. Like we mentioned last week, the perpetrators would set up companies, then bill the state agencies for millions in social services that they never actually provided. Hey, we're going to feed a bunch of students here at this school that the school doesn't exist and the students don't show up. So, well, we, what do we do with. I will just pocket the money, I guess, and then send it to a terrorist organization in Somalia. In total, across three different plots under investigation, federal prosecutors reported that 59 people have been convicted so far in defrauding the Minnesota taxpayer. Now, the political fallout is actually quite interesting because Governor Tim Walls is saying, yeah, this is who, who could have seen this coming? What is that the fourth time I've used that well, because everybody could have seen this coming. Everybody could have seen the fact that people coming from a different country, that sucks, by the way, who don't share the cultural norms here in America would come into the United States of America where we do unfortunately have a front leaning facing. We believe you if you need help in this country and then defraud that system. Governor Tim Walz and libs more broadly are now facing increasing pressure to try and explain how this could have happened under their watch. Remember, Governor Tim Walls is running for a third term, which means he's been in power for the last seven years in Minnesota. All of this happened under him. President Trump recently called Minnesota a hub of fraudulent money laundering activity and suggested accurate. There's a, there's a piece in Time magazine, which is a website they used to print out on paper for some reason suggesting that President Trump suggested the Somali perpetrators would send the money back to where they came from. Just for some reference points here. Somalians make up about 80,000 people in Minnesota. The community members say the, the fraud damages that they are convicted of. Unfortunately, it, it damages the reputation of those Somali immigrants. Oh, no, that, that's, that's the Norm MacDonald joke. If you remember. Norm MacDonald had a joke that I've mentioned here on the show before where he says, my biggest fear is a Muslim coming into the country with a dirty bomb and killing tens of millions of Americans because then the Muslim backlash would be unbearable. And the joke being. No, the problem is the dead tens of millions of Americans. The problem is that the state got defrauded of hundreds of millions of dollars. But again, community members. No, no, no. This, the real problem is it damages the credibility and the reputation of these fine upstanding thieves, sorry, refugees that have come into the company country to defraud our system. Interestingly enough, the scandal has created new rifts with some Somali Americans facing broader suspicion that their focus is remain remaining and their allegiance is remaining to the country that they fled, which by the way, is an asshole country. So says me. Excuse me. To put the theft into perspective, Minnesota spends less annually to run its Department of Corrections than was stolen from them. More than $1 billion in taxpayer money across three different plots. Even during the pandemic, which was known for rampant fraud all across America, not just Minnesota, Americans stole tens of billions of dollars in unemployment. Minnesota scandal stood out as particularly brazen, according to several people familiar with the situation. Now the question remains, who is to blame? Can it be that the guy who's Been in the governor of the state and involved in the state politics for the last several decades. The old football coach, the flamboyantly waving former vice presidential hopeful could have been one heartbeat away from the president. Could it be him that is responsible for all this rampant fraud? Well, yes, actually. I won't bury the lead here. I'll keep it short and concise. Yes, it could be him, and most likely is him. Interestingly enough, the 480 staffers of the Minnesota Department of Health Services released this big long ex post, tweet, whatever you want to call it, saying exactly that. So almost 500 people that work for the state government, effectively for Tim Walls said this. Tim Walls is 100% responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota. I laugh because it's easier than crying because I don't want to see that money be stolen. And by the way too, I would almost guarantee you that there's some sort of federal subsidy that effectively means they're stealing my freaking tax dollars too. Even though it's happening in the state of Mississota, Minnesota. The employees over there say we let Tim Walls know of the fraud early on, hoping for a partnership in stopping fraud. But no, we got the opposite. The Minnesota DHS employees said, which again represents almost 500 of Tim Walls own employees there in the great state of Minnesota. To wrap it up, they finished off said as a staff we firsthand witness an observed first fraud happening. Yet we were shut down, resigned and told to keep quiet about it. In other words, they say, hey, there's a bunch of people stealing hundreds of millions of dollars in this state. Mr. Governor, would you like to stop that? Nope, nope. Sorry. Let me do my Tim Walls voice. No, don't. Stop it. That's me. That's uncharitable. It's an uncharitable impersonation or impression of Tim Walls. I. I'd like to think that I'm better than that. Maybe I'm not. No, we're not going to stop it. You guys keep quiet. So rude of me. Now, when Tim Walls was questioned about this on one of the Sunday shows, he actually took credit. It seems like implying that he was the one that put these criminals, these convicted criminals in jail. Play this Sat 6 Dozens of people.
Guest or Interviewee
Of East African descent have been charged, convicted and sentenced for stealing more than a billion dollars in taxpayer money from government programs during COVID As you know, Governor, that is more than Minnesota spends each year to run its department of Corrections. So I want to give you a chance to respond to this. Do you take responsibility for Failing to stop this fraud in your state.
Joe Bob
State.
Governor Tim Walz
Well, certainly I take responsibility for putting people in jail. Governors don't get to just talk. Theoretically, we have to solve problems. And I will note, it's not just Somalis. Minnesota is a generous state. Minnesota is a prosperous state, a well run state. We're triple a bond rated. But that attracts criminals. Those people are going to jail. We're doing everything we can. But to demonize an entire community on the actions of a few, it's lazy.
Joe Bob
Uh, first things first, it's not just Somalis. There are criminals and thieves all around this state. I don't think that's as good of an argument as you might think it is there, Timmy. Uh, second, he says, yeah, I've taken credit for putting them in jail. Uh, I bear responsibility for putting them in jail. It's a federal investigation, Tim. Wasn't a state investigation. As, as a matter of fact, like we just read, your own employees said, no, no, no, we, we told him about it, but nothing happened. So we had to rely on the federal government to do all of the investigation. The indicting, the prosecuting, the, the guilty verdicts effectively lie at the hands of the federal government. So I'm not entirely sure you get to take credit or at least imply taking credit that you put them in jail, Tim. Uh, but of course, no story is a story in the modern age without President Trump also weighing in, in what I believe is a master class in messaging. You probably have already heard about this, but President Trump called Governor Tim Walls seriously retarded. And while I myself don't tend to use that word as a pejorative, specifically on this show, it's the President, United States. I'm just, I'm quoting the commander in chief of the greatest military to ever exist. I feel like I'm justified in saying the fact that President Trump called Governor Walz seriously, dementedly, hopelessly retarded. Part of those words were editorializing. He just said seriously. But, you know, whatever. But here's the thing. What I believe President Trump is doing is making people talk about the brazen fraud in Minnesota by using a word that he knew libs would jump on so much. So the New York Times even had a piece about, yeah, this was really, really mean that President Trump said that. But also, we, we do kind of have to look into the fact that a bunch of people are stealing a whole bunch of money here in the, in the state of, of Minnesota. Also made CNN talk about it. Here's a clip. This is mostly just because I Like I like the, just this is so tragic and terrible tones that are being taken by Senator Klobuchar and the CNN host over here. This is just so serious. Also the hilarious thing the President said. What are your response? Watch this clip 7 I do. Before we move on, want to give.
iHeartRadio Advertiser
You a chance to respond to something else that the President said. He said that Congresswoman Ilhan Omar probably came to the US Illegally, mocked the hijab that she wears and he called.
Joe Bob
Your governor, quote, quote, retarded. These words shouldn't even be repeated by anyone, much less a President of the United States. Klobuchar's trying not to laugh herself. He called your governor retarded. Well, actually retarded has a natural definition. Maybe Trump. I, I'm not going to try to come for him here. He said it. He, he's. But also he might not be wrong. It might just actually be a factual statement, a declarative observation made by the President. Um, but here's the thing. All of this talk in the media has been about President Trump using a mean word to describe somebody who fits the definition of that word in Governor Tim Walls. And even Tim Walls said this is a terrible thing for him to say. Well, good thing, I believe it's Western man from X said. Or put together a compilation, a very brief 30 second compilation of Governor Tim Walls decrying the horrible use of language by the President, United States. And then also interestingly enough, using very harsh course political rhetoric himself. Watch this. Cut eight.
Governor Tim Walz
But look, this is what Donald Trump has done. He's normalized this type of hateful behavior and this type of language. Well, maybe it's time for us to be a little meaner when it's adult like Donald Trump. Trump, you bully the shit out of him back. What we should demonize is people like Elon Musk. Although I will say this, the last few days you woke up thinking there might be news. Just saying, just saying there will be news sometime. Just so you know there will be news.
Joe Bob
Okay, so according to Governor Tim Walls. Leave this screen up for a little bit. Nevermind. That's okay. According to Governor Tim Walz, President Trump is very, very mean and we can't tolerate him being mean. Also Governor Tim Walz, we should be mean and just bully the absolute S out of him. Okay. We should also demonize people like Elon Musk. Oh, we're demonizing people now. Oh, and then people celebrated and cheered when Governor Tim Wall say someday the President will pass away. And that's a good thing, I guess. That seems to be what he applied. So, Governor Tim what is the what do you actually think about the political rhetoric? Do you think it's too hot? Are you actually upset about President Trump using a so called naughty word that perfectly defines and embodies what the governor of Minnesota is? Or are you just trying to score political points and maneuver the situation or the story in a different direction? Because again, hundreds of millions of dollars billion dollars stolen under his watch and he was told about it allegedly and did nothing about it. So there's that. We got a lot to get to here today. A horrible, horrible shooting that happened in Washington, D.C. that I'm sure you've heard about and I'm sure have been talked about extensively. But we do have some, some things to say and some numbers to bring you. Also, it's not the Christmas tree if you're in woke dystopian Portland, Oregon. It is just the tree. The tree lighting ceremony that happened in Portland is hilarious and also disgusting. And the uk, interestingly enough, is looking to get rid of jury trials. Oh, I wonder how that can go horribly wrong. All that more coming up on this episode of Turning Point tonight. TPTP USA.com is the email if you'd like to send along your thoughts. I self deported from the United States to Mexico. I was crossed over to the United States at just months old. So my first steps, my first words and my first memories were all in San Diego. I didn't know anything about Mexico and really didn't have any knowledge on my culture. So everything was pretty, pretty new to me. And for a long time it was really hard for me to find myself here. And although it was a pretty scary transition, let me show you that life in Mexico isn't as bad as everybody thinks it is. Here in Mexico you can have a really nice life and a really nice home. Don't let anybody tell you you need a US salary to have an amazing life here. I still do things like going to the gym, visit really cute coffee houses, going to pilates and much more. I also always try to find free stuff to do. So follow me if you want to see more of my journey and learn how to live your best life in Mexico.
Joe Bob
Wow, that sounds great. That nice young woman self deported because she was in the country illegally and turns out is having a fantastic life in Mexico. Can I use that as a commercial? Like hey, just so you know, Mexico's still great, great, great place to go live. You can go self deport there if you want a chance to be able to reenter the country. This is how you do it. You self deport. And by the way, if you self deport pretty okay. Pretty good. Pretty pretty good. Congratulations young lady. I won't go as far as to say I hope you come back but glad you're glad you're living your best life in another country. Speaking of people who should be living in another country, we are all aware of the terrible and tragic shooting that happened in Washington D.C. by I'm not even going to attempt to pronounce his name and also I don't want to want to say his name where he shot Sarah Beckham who has died from her injuries and Andrew Wolf who at this point in time is still clinging to life depending on when your it is that you're watching this but terrible and awful tragedy and at the risk of making light of a very terrible and dark and heavy situation which I don't want to do. Who could have seen this coming? Besides Everyone, this dude, unpronounceable name. Drove from Bellingham, Washington, across the country. Which, by the way, if you don't know your geography super well, Bellingham is like at the tippy top. It's probably the furthest possible place from Washington D.C. this guy drove all the way across the country in order to commit an act of terror and kill and shoot and kill. That was at least the plan National Guardsmen. Because for some reason, libs made him think that that was necessary and appropriate. Or at the very least, being charitable that they had no business being in Washington D.C. i don't want to put that on libs. I don't think they explicitly said, hey, you should go kill National Guardsmen, but using some of the rhetoric. Rhetoric that they do use. It's not a far leap to come to that conclusion if you demonize all of the people that are trying to keep Washington D.C. safe. Uh, this guy allegedly worked with the CIA in Afghanistan. Uh, but according to CIA Director John Ratcliffe, should never have been allowed in the United States of America. He did enter. Surprise, surprise. Under the Biden administration's Operation Allies welcome program. That was a part of the 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal debacle and failure welcoming. This guy is our ally. Of all the people who are allies, it's this guy, the guy who will drive across the country to kill National Guardsmen, that he's our ally. According to the Biden administration, Operation Allies welcome brought more than 70,000 Afghans to the United States following the botched 2021 troop withdrawal. Among those evacuees, federal agencies uncovered potential derogatory information on about 7,000 of them. So 10% of them, almost, the feds said there's could be some problems here, could be some problems with about 7,000 of these people. Of those 6,880, 68,5000 of them had national security concerns. Cool. Good. Just let them. Let them ride on into the country. Said no. 1956 of them had public safety concerns. Good, just let them. Them to bring them all. All these are allies here. They're allies. 876 of them were flagged for fraud. Allies. They're allies. Now, the good news is that President Trump and the administration has been working to clear this backlog of Red Fl. Do their due diligence, do their investigations into these particular individuals. But even with them working overtime, probably to try and sort all of this out, as of September still, 885 of them were still deemed potentially negative national security risks to the United States. So good. Just good we're just gonna. Just gonna let all those people into the country, and it should. It should be fine, right? We. It should be fine. In addition to that. Not that you need any more bad news. The Department of Homeland Security has encountered, according to the inspector general report, obstacles to screen, vet, and inspect all evacuees. Another inspector general port from the DHS had listed that they had fragmented processes with dealing with potential security risks. Sounds like something that we should fix or take care of, but it's not like any of that was happening under the previous administration. The FBI, by the way, noted that this is a quote here. The need to immediately evacuate Afghans overtook the normal processes required to determine whether individuals attempting to enter the United States posed a threat to national security. Okay, so the need was so immediate, it was such a pressing issue that we'll just. We'll just bypass all of the different processes that generally would, you know, deem people threats to national security. That's an afterthought. The need is just. Is just so immediate. It's like saying the need to buy a chocolate cake was so immediate that we forgot to pay our mortgage. Sorry, babe. I needed this chocolate cake. It was just so delicious. It's an ally. I need it so bad that I, you know, secondary thought. The mortgage on the house is. We have to move. But I do have this terrorist. I'm sorry, chocolate cake. Forget what metaphor I'm using. Senator Chuck Grassley has spent years pressing agencies about these glaring red. Red flags in the program and also the weak vetting standards among those who made it into the United states. As of May 2023, 55 individuals were on the terror watch, some who were added to the list in transit. So they're. They're on a plane coming to the United States, and someone goes, oh, I don't know if we should point this out. This guy happens to be on the terror watch. Is that. Is that going to be a problem, him being on the terror watch list? No, it's fine. It's totally fine. Operation Allies welcomed. Just as an example, two of the Afghan nationalists, nationals, um, again, not even gonna try to pronounce the names here. Uh, Afghan One and Afghan Two were charged with planning an ISIS inspired plot to disrupt the 2024 election in Oklahoma City. Uh, Afghan one came to the United States in 2021 on a special immigrant visa, was able to obtain two AK47, 500 rounds of ammunition in 2024 and pled guilty to providing material support of ISIS. He faces up to 35 years in prison. These are our allies according to the Biden administration, guy also had a similar relationship with the CIA in Afghanistan than the Washington as the Washington D.C. shooter. Now all of those things being said, the immediate backlash and again we didn't do a show last week until since this has happened. So this is why we're bringing it up here. Bunch of libs. Guess who they blamed. I can almost guarantee that you'll be able to guess this. Email us tptbc.com very quickly because I'm gonna give it, give it away right here. They blame Donald Trump. They shouldn't have been in Washington D.C. the city was fine. They only had a couple dozen murderers murders every week or so. But that the city was safe. We didn't need the National Guard. Therefore because Donald Trump wanted to fix the rising rampant crime in Washington D.C. and brought in the National Guard. That's why these National Guardsmen were shot. It wasn't, you know, the terroristic threats of the allies that the Biden administration claimed would help the country is it was Donald Trump because he tried to make the city safe. And how dare he try to make the nation's capital a safe place to walk around at night. Trump, as you probably know his ordered the deployment of an additional 500 National Guards troop following the shooting brings in the total to 2,000 in D.C. to combat crime. All of that is to say are. All of that leads up to the fact that ABC News among many other outlets even today are still trying to dismiss the actions of a terrorist who tried to kill Americans. This is from ABC News. The investigation continues to delve into what may have motivated the suspect in the deadly National Guardsmen shooting last week. A portrait of a life increasing financial stress and a potential mental health crisis as emerged sources familiar told ABC News. Oh, okay, so he was struggling financially. He also. So it's fine, it's fine that you go to D.C. and murder national Guardsmen. Additionally, multiple sources also said the investigators are looking at the impact of the of a recent debt death of an Afghan commander who allegedly worked with the 29 year old suspect terrorist who came and shot the net. So he was just sad. The death of the commander who the terrorist is said to have revered had deeply saddened the suspect. What are you going to do? He's sad. He's just a sad guy. So he's got to go, you know, murder Americans. I think we have the ability to hold ourselves to a higher standard. What do you think? Let us know. TPTP USA.com do you think it's possible for the United States to have an elevated standard for people coming into the country, which by the way, they're coming into the country for a reason because the place that they left, which was built by the culture that they have, was awful. That's why they're coming here in the first place. So should we have a higher standard for entry into the United States of America? My bet is yes. My guess is yes, I think we can do that and I think we should do that. But again, tptbc.com should we keep the standards as lax as they have been over the last, the last administration, or should we, I don't know, raise them just a little bit? Coming up near next here on Turning Point. Tonight we're going to talk about the Portland tree. It's not a Christmas tree. You can't say Christmas in Portland. It's just a tree. As well as the UK supposedly are attempting to get rid of juries for trials, which would be problematic as well as some, some mailbag notes from, from something we talked about a while ago. But it still is definitely very funny and interesting. Tptpsa.com if you'd like to be considered to be included in that mailbag section, also go subscribe to our YouTube channel, Facebook, X Instagram, all of the social media accounts. Where are the trans balloons of color? Where are the transgender balloons of color? Cancel the parade. Stop the parade. This is a racist, homophobic parade. From the front to the back, trans balloons of color will be back. From the front to the back, trans balloons of color will be black. I agree. Why was the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade allowed to continue without trans balloons of color? The only thing that I would add is what about immigrants? What about the trans criminal immigrants of color? Where was that? That was hope missing en masse from the Thanksgiving Day parade. I On a serious note, I love stuff like this. This is hilarious. It is. It is concerning because that this makes you all understood the joke right when it started. But the fact that this is a joke, it kind of lends itself to the fact that culturally speaking, kind of a joke that we're here and we're having to deal with this. So there's that. Speaking of things that are a joke, the Portland tree lighting happened on Friday. And notice I didn't say Christmas tree lighting because you cannot say Christmas for some reason in the godforsaken hellhole that is Portland. The Portland area city of Portland held its 41st annual tree lighting ceremony on Friday outside of the courthouse there in Portland, in which no speaker at any point used the term Christmas at all during the ceremony. It didn't use it in the events ads. It doesn't say it on the tree box. It literally just says the tree. Okay, the festive occasion kicked off with a woman from the the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs thanking everybody for coming out on Native American Heritage Day, which apparently was November 28th. I was completely unaware that last Friday was Native American Heritage Day, but this woman from the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs thankfully informed us all that last week. I forget even what the day was. Native American Heritage Day, which, by the way, I thought that was a bad term. I thought Native American was derogatory, or at least not welcome. I thought it was indigenous people people. Shame on her or whoever wrote this article for not adhering to the new nomenclature that says indigenous people instead of Native Americans because they weren't American. They were indigenous. You see where we're going with this? All of this is ridiculous and nonsensical. That woman from the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs then introduced two younger members of the tribes who referred to the celebration only as the tree lighting, God forbid, bid you say Christmas, it's just the tree. One speaker, draped in a Palestinian flag, used her stage time to lead the crowd in a chant of Free Palestine. Because that's what matters this holiday season, that you direct everything entirely to your political purpose of the day. She said. This is perfect timing to bring this up. There are lots of genocides going on, she said, only moments into the tree lighting ceremony. So, like right at the beginning, by the way, genocides are happening all over the world, says this lady. She asked, can I get a free Palestine? Some of the members in the crowd cheered. Others were heard going, oh, which is good news. It's good news that even in Portland, some people in the crowd were going, all right, really? Is this. This the time and the place? She then led the crowd in the singing of Strong Woman Song. Because of course, libs have to sing. I regret to inform you that the libs are yet again singing. We don't have any video of this, by the way, because I don't know. I. We've all seen. It's. It's funner to describe. It's more fun to describe it. Is funner a word? Somebody check the. Let me check Webster dictionary. Not sure if fun or more fun is the actual technically accurate grammar, but it's more fun to describe it. Now, just for the record, and this kind of leads into the more broader point here, there were some of the traditional elements of a Christmas tree lighting that were adhered to. They did remain amidst the woke banishment of all of the things that are Christmas. They did have a Santa Claus. Santa Claus did show up. So no Jesus but Santa Claus, which not good. You probably want to include Jesus in Christmas. It's kind of the whole point of the holiday. But I guess at least they had Santa. They also did sing some Christmas carols, which they called holiday carols, which also included angels. We have heard on high. Again, pretty blatant. Pretty blatant Christmas song. Another holiday carols. Nearly an hour and a half into the ceremony, Mayor Keith Wilson addressed the crowd and then he brought out the Santa Claus and then they turned the lights on the tree lighting. Here's the question that I ask with all of this. If you're going to have a ceremony, a tree lighting ceremony, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony that has all of the hallmarks of a town getting together to celebrate Christmas and the holiday season, but you don't include any part of the holiday, what is the point? If you want all of the things, all of the earmarks, all of the hallmarks that come with Christmas but refuse to use the word Christmas or call it a Christmas tree or do anything Christmas related. What is the point? Why don't you just get a, I don't know, a stick and put lights on it or do something different maybe, I don't know, light it on fire, whatever, Burn a witch, whatever it is that you do in Portland. I don't know, maybe just do that. Why, why do you have to like take all of the things that we hold near and dear. Christmas and, and pretend that okay, actually Jesus and Christ and Chris Christ Christmas. Shoot. That we can't say that. Why do you then have to do what? Just, just do your own thing? I don't know, light a pig on fire? Well, I don't know what you do. I don't know what people in Portland do to light, light a government building on fire at all. Gather around it and go ooh, ah. Don't actually do that by the way. I don't think you should do that in Portland. But I don't know, do your own thing then if you, if you, what's the point of trying to take our thing and make it your thing? Just do your own thing. Coming up, we're going to briefly talk about this crazy thing going on in the UK where the legal system is kind of at its wits end. They are going to, they're so backlogged that they're going to do what I think is absolutely unthinkable. TPTP USA.com does your town do a Christmas tree lighting and do they call it Christmas or do they say ah, here's this nondescript tree that we put lights on for some reason in lieu of lighting a pig on fire, we will instead light this nondescript, non holiday related tree for all of you to enjoy for no reason whatsoever, I guess. Does that happen in your town? Where do you live? Do you have a Christmas tree lighting even in small town America? There are some, some of these towns that are not using the term Christmas. Is that, is that your town? TBT tbsa.com Also go subscribe to our YouTube channel, our social media platforms, anywhere you take in social media content. We'd love to see you on those platforms in addition to here on Real America's Voice. Don't go away. We'll be right back after the break to talk about the craziness going on in the UK legal system. We'll be right back.

Immigration is good, but it's a problem when they don't speak English. Fortunately, we have a solution. Allow immigrants to learn English at elementary schools.
Guest or Interviewee
I'm not against it, but I thought.
Joe Bob
They were already doing that. They're not in here. So this will help them learn the basics so they can integrate flawlessly in America.
iHeartRadio Advertiser
So they would be in school with the elementary school?
Joe Bob
Yeah. So I just say no, I wouldn't feel safe with my kids, with adults. Well, we have teachers in the classroom and security and officers. Would you install, like, TSA metal detectors for individuals like that that come into the classroom? Why do you say that? I'm just saying. I don't know. Individual kid or the kid right here? That makes me nervous. That guy looks like he wants to blow the classroom up. I wouldn't be. I wouldn't be sick. Oh, I don't think you'd have. I don't think he would do that. He's here to learn English. How do you know he's just trying to learn English? How do you know? One of the. One of the downfalls of looking at the world logically is that sometimes you have to institute a system that takes the lib woke ideas to its logical conclusion, which is this. In order to prove the fact that, hey, this lib idea is very, very stupid. I. This guy, hey, kind of looks like you might blow up the cat. Yeah, I agree with you, which is kind of the point we're trying to make here. Uh, this is clearly a joke, which, by the way, good for those guys for pulling this sort of thing off. But it does highlight a very important, broader point that is. Yeah, maybe we just don't let people into the country who don't want to assimilate to the culture and learn the language and all that sort of stuff, that we could avoid all of this if we just did that. Um, speaking of a place that should have done that, the UK being overburdened with juries or cases that should require juries, are looking to do something that I think is unthinkable. The UK Justice Secretary, David Lammy is pushing ahead this week with plans to abolish the right to trial by jury for all cases, but the most serious, I. E. Murder, rape, terrorism. The proposal aims to address the British legal systems insane backlog of cases, which includes more than 80,000 cases. Holy cow. That is just, just kind of sitting there in the back like, yeah, we don't have time to get to these. Maybe we'll get to them eventually. But, yeah, we just don't have the resources to get to all of them. Some cases, including crimes like rape, are not expected to happen for years because of the backlog. Now, yes, a backlog in cases is a big thing. It's something that has to be dealt with, but in no way, shape or form can it be dealt with by getting rid of trials for everyday Americans or, sorry, everyday Britain's who want to have trials. And the reason we bring this up is because unfortunately, what is going on in the UK is terrible and disastrous on so many different fronts, from a free speech, from an immigration policy, all of these different things. And what we don't want to have to happen is that happen here to us in the United States of America. One of the reasons that I think this is so important, why this is a terrible idea that we should not replicate or even try to replicate here, is that free speech cases over the past 10 years, when defendants bring free speech cases to a magistrate or the judge that rules kind of the arbitrator, they are acquitted only 16% of the time. When those same cases, those same types of cases over the last decade go to an actual trial and an actual jury, they're cleared 28% of the time. In other words, defendants in free speech cases are almost twice as likely to be acquitted by a jury. And again, free speech cases, we're not talking about, you know, violent crime or anything like that, because I tend to like convictions in that matter, but free speech cases, twice as likely to be acquitted if they go to a trial with a jury than by some random judge. The British right to trial has existed for 800 years. We did take the idea from them, but it also is one of the bedrock institutions of the United States of America. The right to a trial of one's peers. The Free Speech Union calls it the biggest assault to our liberty in those 800 years. 1 and this goes without saying, but a trial by jury is a check on government power and arbitrary justice, which should go without saying. Also, abolishing trials would overtly politicize the appointment of judges, which is something that you also don't want. Again, all of these things kind of don't necessarily need to be said, but the fact that it's happening in the UK means they probably should be repeated enough to get into the mind, the heads of the citizens of the uk, but also any western country. This is a terrible idea in so many different instances. The most striking and crazy statistic, the biggest thing coming out of here is if you look at the most recent 12 months amid a surge in arrests and indictments for speech violations, juries considering non guilty pleas for free speech, acquitted defendants 75% of the time. In other words, that 16% of the time that you get acquitted by a judge or a magistrate goes up exponentially if you have a jury, especially in this new crazy world that the UK is currently living in. Regarding speech, we're going to do some mailbag after the break. Some of you emailers who I know I've been promising we're going to get to email tptbc.com if you have any thoughts on the UK Governor Tim Walls, the Portland Tree, the freaking terrorist in Washington DC. Any thoughts? TPTP USA.com we'll be right back to answer to get to some mailbag questions. Don't go away. We'll be right back after this.

That didn't hurt. That didn't hurt. Listen, it's because you were running like a fairy. Now you're crying. Look, don't run like a. Don't go like this. Go like this. We run like this. Yeah. Oh, Jesus. Oh, Jesus. Exactly what that says there some good old 90s grandparenting wisdom. Don't. Don't do that. Just stop. Just do it. Do it better. I prove make America the 90s again. Except for the Clinton administration, but we. It's a whole different topic for a different time. The Clinton administration was just a. Hey, times are easy. Let's make it hard on ourselves. So that's what happened there. Let's get to some mailbag questions in our limited time we have remaining here on the topic of last week when we were talking about the 911 telecommunications system that the California government spent 140 freaking million dollars on and didn't work. Actually, I think the number would have been. Was higher than that. Somebody email me tbt tbc. What was the actual number? Hundreds of millions of dollars spent on this stupid telecom system that didn't work. I said I'd be happy to build a telecom telecommunication system for 911 that also doesn't work and I'll charge you half the price. We got several people emailing the show trying to win that bid with me. I think I said I would like to form my own company and in order to win the government contract, we have to be as minority as possible. Me being the son of an immigrant and a brown guy with a funny name, I think that bodes well for me. But also some of the emailers. Ryan says, hey, Joe Bob, I identify as a black lesbian immigrant. Does that work? I am totally willing to help you sell this nonfunctioning telecom service. Ryan. I think it might. I actually do think that might help because I am not. I do not identify as a black lesbian immigrant. So could could work. Jay says, hey, Joe Bob met you at sass. I remember that Jay. He showed you his. His get his get set T shirt. Gays exiting the Democrat party bumper stickers. Yeah, I remember Jay. Hope you're doing well. Thanks for watching. He said he's very, very gay and is interested in doing a free run. Throwing in a free Runway show for mere $100 million. Jay, that is a very enticing offer and I do think we could benefit from having a gay on our company staff who was willing to again build a telecommunication company that does not work as the California taxpayers paid for. Last one, Lynn said. I watch you every night. Thank you, Lynn. Appreciate that. She lives in San Diego. She is a woman. Is that your only minority status, Lynn? You have to be something else. Sorry. Count me in for the 911 project. We can eat. Oh, but she's gonna lowball going $80 million for this. That is a deal. That is such a deal. Thank you, Lynn. Appreciate that. If you can tack on a couple minority points there, that would be. That would be very helpful and beneficial into getting this government contract with California to build a telecommunication system that does not work. That's our email tbt tbsa.com you'd like to send us along your thoughts, comments, concerns, criticisms. We didn't get to a bunch of stuff. The blowing up narco terrorists, which is fantastic, by the way, even though libs are really hating that MTV is no longer. Which is, you know, sad. End of an error, but maybe stuff we'll get to tomorrow. TBTPC.com is the email address. We will see you tomorrow, same time, same place. God bless America. This is Jim.
