Did President Trump blink in Minnesota? PSAR Tom Homan saying, hey, we're going to be coming out of Minnesota. Is that a failure or is the lib media just lying about it as they always do? And libs are in a competition with themselves to see who can call voter ID the worst possible thing. A new Thursday tradition, the Thursday Tribunal, Judgment Thursday is also coming up up on the show. I'm very excited for this episode. We're really excited that you're here as well. Thanks so much for tuning in. My name is Joe Bob. The show starts right now. Did Trump blink? Is the administration capitulating to the woke rioting mob? Spoiler alert. I don't think so. I will explain that in just a quick second, but I got to get to first. TPTPCA.com is the email address if you'd like to send along your thoughts, comments, concerns, even criticisms of the show. And I actually would love to solicit your comments, as many comments, emails as we can from this on whether or not you agree with this stance that's taken from the administration. Obviously the big news today is Borders are Tom Homan saying, yeah, we're gonna, we're gonna pull out of Minnesota and use air quotes there because I actually don't think they're pulling out. But again, we'll get to that in just a second. Email us tptpsa.com with your thoughts and opinions on this matter. We like taking in all of that stuff to make sure and we know what you know, we know what you guys are thinking and that's very important to us. And if that email or those comments are just downright nasty and just vile and inhumane in any way, shape or form, it'll actually probably fit in great with the show. Here in the mailbag segment of the show, tbtvsa.com is that email address. So the topic at hand, did the Trump administration blink in Minnesota with Borders? Our Tom Homan's announcement today, hey, we're getting out of of Minnesota. Well one, he didn't really say that. He said, yeah, that we're going to draw down the excess amount of people that we had in here because it was necessary and maybe in fact they accomplished goals, which is why the reason that there can be some sort of drawdown. Now the lib media of course, is saying this is a massive win. If we riot in the streets enough, if we dye our hair blue, if we invade churches, they will leave. Or there was a mission, the mission was accomplished and Tom Holman thinks good. Time to move on to the next mission. I want to play the first clip from Borders are Homan in which he's eviscerating the media on things that ICE wasn't doing while in Minnesota. Take a look at this cut six and we'll discuss on the other side.
Tom Homan / Police Spokesperson / Reporter
During the surge, Operation ICE has not arrested anybody inside a hospital. We have not arrested anybody inside of a school, elementary school. We have not arrested anybody inside a church. As a matter of fact, the only ones that disrespected the sanctuary of a church were the agitators that have been arrested and prosecuted. So far, we have nine of them. However, those locations are not off the table. I said on day one, there is no sanctuary for a significant public safety threat or national security threat. But as far as those stories about ICE going into churches, arresting people in hospitals, it simply has not happened. And if you have a case where it happened, do you let me know?
Joe Bob
I love that, like little wit and charm. Hey, if it is happening, you tell me. I'll take care of it. But obviously Borders are home and eviscerating the live media and saying all of these things are happening except for the fact that they aren't. He also in that press conference said that over 3,000 children that were lost by the previous administration were recovered in this operation. But to the point that everyone is talking, did the Trump administration blink? Did they back down to the overweight sociology, blue hair major. Blue hair major. Yeah, that still makes sense. You can major in blue hair in some universities. I think that's probably acceptable. Did they back down? Well, let's look at the other surges that happened across the country. Remember Minnesota and Minneapolis wasn't the only one that happened. ICE has been ramping up all over the country. Reason being because 20 million illegals came in under the last administration and clearly immigration enforcement needs to ramp up because of that. Obviously we heard about Operation Midway Blitz that started in August or September, ish, depending on when you want to date that late August, early September, Operation Midway Blitz happens in Chicago. And you didn't hear about it going away, but it has dwindled down. The former guy in charge of the Minnesota operation, Greg Bevino, was in Chicago. Then he moved to Minnesota. Was there a big announcement? Did anybody in the lib media say, look, we won? No, they just effectively did what they wanted to do and moved on to the next project. In Los Angeles, there was a massive surge in June of 2025. Bunch of protests happen there. And I use the protest Term just because you know that that's a catch. All with lighting things on fire and burning down businesses and riots, but we called protests is what the live media calls it. Those operations were linked to operations at large. Plans to ramp up arrests, which they did, involve thousands of personnel and lasted a couple of weeks, couple months. Specifically, they raided MacArthur park, known as Operation Excalibur. Eventually, the goals that they had set out to get there were reached. The nice agents move to other places because things are going on all around the country. This is a big web of things going on. And speaking of webs, we'll get to that in just a second. New Orleans and Louisiana more broadly. Operation started around Dec. 1. 250 federal agents descended on New Orleans, which is a quote, unquote, sanctuary city. The goal was to arrest a bunch of illegals and they did. Now, has that come to an end? Honestly, I'm not even sure. But those ICE agents, those federal agents could be deployed somewhere else. They could still be there. The bottom line here, the point that I'm trying to make is the these operations are not meant to be sustained in perpetuity, which means at some point they got to go on to the next mission. We obviously know about Operation Charlotte's web in Charlotte, North Carolina, which was launched November 15th. Now, that one, interestingly enough, dwindled down around the end of November. In other words, it only lasted like two weeks. Why? Because North Carolina isn't a sanctuary state and doesn't tolerate the sanctuary policies. What had actually happened was, was the federal agents were able to cooperate with the local enforcement agencies, the local police, the local law enforcement, and say, hey, if you got any people that are here illegally in your county jails or your local prisons, go ahead and just let us know. And North Carolina said, sure, that operation didn't last forever. There were increased operations and smaller surges in places like Portland, New York, Boston, Memphis, Washington, D.C. all throughout 2025. Those surges happen. Now, the thing is, you call them a surge because there's a surge now, the surge doesn't last forever. People need to get moved to different places because different priorities arrive as things move along. That's how governance works. That's how law enforcement works. If in your local city there is a huge situation that requires law enforcement's attention, they all go to that place. And then when the situation is dealt with, maybe not even entirely, but at least adequately to satisfy the surge there, then those officers leave. That's exactly what happened. A few jurisdictions even capitulated. Capitulated that's even a bad term. I don't even want to say that because effectively they're just following the law. They said, hey, the sanctuary policy is no more. Places like Louisville, Kentucky revoked their sanctuary status after DOJ threats. Nevada came to a memorandum of understanding that they will have greater cooperation, cooperation with federal enforcement agents. The bottom line here is the question on the table is did the Trump administration blink or did they achieve their goals? Like I said, the lib media is saying, look, we can yell and scream and riot and stand in front of cars and assault ICE agents until they leave. What Tom Homan is saying, on the other hand, is, well, we've actually made some decent progress. Okay, well, let's take that for what it's worth. Looks like they have in the state of Minnesota, which is a sanctuary state. Other places like Chicago, New York, Los Angeles specifically, they didn't, quote, unquote, bend to the pressure of revoking any of their sanctuary status. They actually stayed firm on that in Minnesota. It looks like it's an entirely different case. Tom Homan, in his announcement, announced some key changes that were happening in the state of Minnesota, which would then lead you to believe, okay, well, the surge may no longer be necessary because all of the things that we wanted at the beginning of this have been attained. Check this out. Cut seven. This is Tom Homan in that speech this morning, that press conference this morning, basically laying out, well, here are the agreements we came to. And therefore the operation here has been fully satisfied, not fully satisfied, because they're not entirely leaving. But the excess surge that came into Minneapolis and Minnesota more broadly, we accomplished the mission. Cut 8, 7, 7.
Tom Homan / Police Spokesperson / Reporter
We now have the ability to arrest criminal aliens in the safety and security of jails throughout the state at the time they're being released, like we've done in other states. I've also directed the strategic placement of officers in certain areas throughout the states that can respond quickly to sheriffs that want to release somebody and notify us, we need to be nearby so they don't hold them unnecessarily. So we worked on a strategic plan to reassign officers in those key locations. Arresting a public safety threat and the safety and security of a jail is safer for the alien, is safer for the officer, and safer for the community. I think we all can agree on that. It requires less resources throughout large operations. It just makes sense.
Joe Bob
And that is the main point here. All of the things that Minnesota is now doing to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement just make sense. Some of the key differences Minnesota Sheriff's association negotiated a basic ordering agreement that a BOA with ICE and dhs. These were framed as contractual or procurement agreements allowing participation of county jails to provide reasonable access to federal immigration or ICE interviews while they're in the jails and hold individuals up to 48 hours past their release date in order for ICE to be able to pick them up. Now, obviously, there's going to be federal reimbursement. There's. There's a lot of different things going on in that context. But the bottom line is not only will they continue or not continue, not only will they now let ICE know, hey, we've got a criminal here that's on you. You might be interested in, you might want to stand outside of our jail when they're released so you can rearrest them. Not only are they doing that, they're going to hold people for up to 48 hours. It was intended as a workaround of Minnesota's sanctuary laws, but thus far, county attorneys have largely rejected any of these new policies as violating the state laws. Now, not every single sheriff is pursuing any of this sort of stuff, but by and large, the majority of the things that we wanted, the toppling of sanctuary states, the idea that local law enforcement, state law enforcement can cooperate with federal law enforcement being a thing, those look to have been achieved. In other words, when you ask the question, did Trump blink? The answer is no. It looks like they accomplished a lot. And further than that, this actually looks like a wild success. Remember Minnesota? Not that the work is done. That's not what I'm saying. The work is not done. Obviously, there's more work that needs to be done. But later on in his presser, Homan said, well, we've reorganized a lot of different ways that we're doing things to be more efficient in arresting illegals. We've placed people strategically around the state, not in big hubs anymore, so that when the newly cooperating sheriff's county jails tell us there's someone there, we can be there in a timely manner in order to take full advantage of their cooperation. The lib media is painting this as the oh, no, Trump is backing down. Not oh, no, oh, yes, Trump is backing down. We did it. In reality, it kind of looks like we came out the better of it. Maybe they get a small political win, but like I said, I don't really care how it's done. I just want the illegals gone. What this feels like to me is somebody going into a restaurant with the goal of eating a large pizza, pizza and Then for some reason, whatever reason, some people outside the restaurant say, you can't eat that pizza. We hate you. You're bigoted, fascist, racist for eating that pizza. Then the person eating the pizza is like, well, obviously I have to be in a safe position. So we're going to have some restaurant staff keep those protesters to bay. I'm just going to keep eating this pizza here. And then ultimately, you know, you make some headway into the pizza. You slice number 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. All of a sudden you're done with the pizza and now you're like, well, I finished here, I guess I can leave the restaurant now. Obviously there's, you know, some cleaning up that needs to be done, but by and large, this pizza is consumed. And then the protesters outside who didn't want you eating the pizza because of bigotry or whatever say, yes, we did it, but did you really or did we, did we do what we came here to do, which I think was to gain cooperation with hostile non cooperative states? I think what happened in Minnesota may not have looked super pretty, but ultimately was a massive success for the administration. If the goal is to get illegals out of the country, if that is the goal, cooperation with your lib states is paramount. It is necessary and it's something that was achieved today. That's what I think. Did Trump blink? Absolutely not. In other, in contrast to that, it was actually a massive success. We've got several points to get to here tonight on the show. We appreciate you tuning in. Tptpsa.com is the email address. If you'd like to send along your thoughts, comments, concerns, criticisms. I actually would love to hear what you guys think about this because I think this is a massive win, especially with all the things the administration came away with. This is all done under the approval of President Trump. But let us know if you have any thoughts, comments, concerns about this. Again, I think it's a massive win. You don't necessarily have to agree. TPT USA.com is that email address. We'll be right back after the break. Don't go away. Just a quick question. If you enter the country illegally or you overstay a visa, should you be deported? My simple answer is, sir, it depends. Okay, so if somebody breaks into your home, should they be arrested for breaking entry or does it depend? Senator Bernie Moreno talking to the Attorney General of Minnesota, a guy who, I mean, we have talked about how much that dude is lying constantly. Very, very simple question. Hey, if somebody breaks into your house, does it depend? But actually it's a civil lawsuit. They didn't break in. They just walked through the open door. Okay, cool. So then they're fine to live there now. I like that. Big fan of the gotcha questions. Hey, so we, there's a lot of news to get to, a lot of things to work our way around in the media. So it is time to get to the point. Get to the point.
Tom Homan / Police Spokesperson / Reporter
Get to the point.
Joe Bob
Still don't know if I really appreciate that. I think, I think that is a, a mockery of sometime my long winded diatribes, the tangents that we go off of. But anyways, it'll, it'll work for now. Getting to the point. One point. This headline is from Breitbart. Trump's Under Trump's new Direction, the dot, the Department of Transportation moves to bar unvetted foreign drivers from U.S. trucking industry. You don't say. First of all, this is one of those things where I am of two minds, the first being, thank God you're telling me that there were illegals, foreigners really more broadly, that were just entirely unvetted, that were getting licenses to drive thousand multi ton weapons. That's crazy. I'm glad that's happening. And at the same time, I guess I kind of already said this, but this was happening. We had a bunch of illegals driving trucks. This is crazy. Under President Trump's direction, the Department of Transportation finalized a federal rule today that bars unvetted foreign nationals from obtaining commercial driver's licenses by closing long standing safety loopholes allowing drivers with unverified or dangerous histories to operate heavy trucks and buses. Again, this is great. And also this was happening. That's crazy. The new rules as laid out by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says it requires enhanced counsel and integrity vetting, restricts eligibility to non immigrant visa categories. It mandates SAVE system verification, which we'll get to the SAVE act in just a little bit. The libs are fighting their way to the bottom on what they can call this thing. It's actually hilarious. And it eliminates a reliance on the employment authorization documents for licensing. So it's going to be fully vetted, basically is the thing. Again, it's one of those things where it is so fantastic that it is happening. And also, holy cow, why did this need to happen? Point two, Interesting, really interesting story here in the New York Times in Kentucky, people are blaming Ford more than Trump for lost factory jobs. This is really interesting from a polling standpoint. The Ford Motor Company abruptly shut down the electric vehicle battery factory in Glendale, Kentucky in December, which you know, is unfortunate. They laid off 1600 workers just four months after production began. And what is fascinating about this is libs are big mad because they say, well, there were jobs. And then President Trump eliminated the incentive, the, the subsidies, the government subsidies for these electric vehicles. Therefore, Ford said, holy cow, there's no money in this. So they shuttered the facility. Is it bad for the 1600 people that lost their jobs? Yes. Who is to blame, though? I mean, obviously, if you're looking at this from an objective outside situation, you go, well, clearly it is the past administration who put all of these subsidies in place. Not even Biden. There's also Obama that put all of the electric vehicles. We're going to give them bajillion dollars in order to entice people to drive vehicles that they don't want. That's probably where the blame actually is. But of course, if something happens in a reaction to the government, the lib media tries to say, well, that's definitely Trump's fault. And they go to Kentuckians who unfortunately lost their jobs and say, how, hey, how do you feel about Trump? Because he's the one that got you fired. And people in Kentucky go, no, no, that's not what happened. What happened was the Ford company tried to get all of those government subsidies. Therefore they set up this battery factory. And in reality, nobody is buying these electric cars, especially with the incentives gone. They're. They're not cost effective. They're not easy to maintain. Not maintain, but easy to drive because the infrastructure just isn't there. We have gas pumps everywhere. We have electric charging stations in, like five places. And in those five places, if they're set up by municipalities, chances are they don't work. That going away is not Trump's fault. It's actually the Ford company's fault. If they had built a factory that instead of doing batteries, I don't know, made carburetors or, you know, name your car part, then, well, none of us would be affected here. The bottom line is this New York Times is really, has been really trying to spin this as, wow, this is Trump is bad. And look at how dumb these people are for not blaming Trump and instead blaming the companies, when in actuality the companies. Sorry, the people that are blaming the company is correct. They are right. Getting to the points of the day. This point from cnn, CNN poll. Libs are deeply motivated for the midterms, despite having a dismal view of their own party's leadership. This is one of the things that libs and libs alone for some reason can do. And it doesn't help us to ignore this. We have to, you know, be honest about the situation. In no presidential election, but really in no election period has a candidate, candidates dislike been an effective way of winning an election except 2020. And again, I still have serious questions on that. What I'm saying is usually people vote for somebody and not against somebody, unless, of course, it is in recent history. And you are a lib. The libs feel, you know, collectively, we are going to take back the midterms, and midterms are going to be our time to shine. We're going to take back the House, we're going to immediately impeach Trump, and then we're going to send it to the Senate and they're not going to do anything about it. And then Trump will be the world record holder for most impeachments, even though he already is. But that number will climb. And he will, you know, he'll, he'll have three times the next competitor. All hilarious, by the way. And that's what the libs think is going to happen. The only problem is they're very enthusiastic to get to the polls. But according to a new CNN poll In January of 2026, Libs have a deeply motivated base for the midterms.
Tom Homan / Police Spokesperson / Reporter
However.
Joe Bob
They don't, they don't like any of the people that are running, which is fascinating. I really, really hate the guy who's in the White House, but he's not on the ballot. I also really, really hate the person running. God, I really just hate everybody. Is effectively what the lives are currently saying. Now, I don't want to belittle this because this is going to be a really big issue that we come to in November when the midterms are here. You're going to have to have enthusiasm for, you know, conservatives and their ideas and what it is that they're doing. So conservatives are going to have to do something to sort of either quell the lib enthusiasm or embolden the conservative enthusiasm. But regardless, something does need to happen. And at the same time, I still do find it funny that they're really, really motivated because the guy that's not on the ballot isn't on the ballot. And the people that are on the ballot, they also hate to. So that's hilarious in a lot of different ways. You know what's not hilarious is our next point here, man. China. If, if, if you are Mark Carney or you are any of the globalist crazy people in Europe, France, saying they were, they needed to be more like China. And then the Canadian dude saying, we need to open up partnership with China. You are freaking crazy. Jimmy Lai, this is from reason magazine. Got 20 year sentence for saying things the Chinese government did not like. The Hong Kong media tycoon and pro democracy advocate Jimmy Lai was 78 years old. Effectively this is a life sentence for him. Was sentenced to 20 years on February 9th earlier this week after a conviction on charges of, of conspiring to collude with foreign forces and publishing seditious material which frames critical moments for the Chinese government. He's obviously also advocating for democracy and freedom of speech in Hong Kong. And for that he was hit with 20 years in prison. There's a lot more here and maybe we'll talk about this more in kind of a broader, deeper dive into this, but I think this is huge and it isn't getting talked about enough. The people that are trying to be buddy buddy with China are out of their freaking minds. The Chinese Communist Party is insanely dangerous. And this is like, this is like you, you in the relationship with either China or the United States because that's, those are the two choices that countries have to make. You know, Trump is mean. Okay, fine, you, you really don't like Trump. But this is like breaking up with a great person, the United States of America, because I don't know, the guy said something mean about your mom and then getting back with an abuser like that, that is what this is. It's effectively what it is. Like I, you said something mean about my mom. Okay, so now I'm going to go to the person that hit me, which is effectively what countries are doing when they choose China over the United States of America. And this is evidence of that. On a more cheery, but not really cheery, our last point of the day is this. An Indiana bride, according to CBS News, says Chicago labor unions harassed her after she listed a boycotted hotel on her wedding website. An Indiana bride. This is unbelievable. This is, this is China esque. He really is. An Indiana bride named Lauren Johnson faced months of harassment from unite here Local 1, a Chicago based hotel workers union, after she listed the boycotted Doubletree Hilton Hotel in South Bend as a recommended stay for wedding guests on her wedding website. In other words, some random poor girl was having a wedding and saying, hey, if you're, if you're traveling from out of state, out of town, because, you know, family lives all over the country, friends live everywhere, here are a couple places that you might consider staying. One of them happened to be I guarantee, unbeknownst to her, a hotel that the union in Chicago is boycotting and then they harassed her for it. The union allegedly started calling her personal phone number, contacting her friends and their workplaces, sending fake mock wedding invitations to her weddings and protesting outside of her workplace. Meanwhile, she's probably going, what the f is going on? Freaking crazy people. And you know, I mean, probably should be noted. These are the very types of people that will go, quote, unquote, protest ice, just harass people unendingly until they get their way. Bunch of freaking children. Johnson, who has no connection with the hotel or the labor disputes, filed police reports and finally sent a un. The union a cease and desist letter. The hotel listing was removed from her wedding website and she continues to go forward with her wedding as she should in July. But holy cow, how low do you have to sink to go harass some poor girl who's trying to get married who says, hey, here are three hotels in the area. Yeah, well, this hotel is on our S list, so we're going to harass you for it. Holy cow, deport these people to the Taliban. I don't what like I, that is that I judge, jury and executioner here. I, that is my verdict, which is speaking of, we're going to get to it in a later, later segment of the show, sir. This, this Thursday is the inaugural segment. What is it called? Tribunal Thursday, for which the fun zingers is. I'm looking forward to you seeing that. TBT tbsa.com if you have any thoughts, comments, concerns on that. I'd love to hear your thoughts about China because I do think that that's something that we need to be talking about way more. There's a bunch of stories that isn't, aren't being covered at all in the media. Iran is one of them. Let us know TPT USA.com if you have any thoughts on that. We will be right back after the break. Don't go away. Oh my God. Oh my God. It's just a little boy. Oh, jeez. Oh, man. I was wondering what that was. Yeah, judging by the, judging by the whistles and a bunch of crazy people surrounded, I assumed that that was an ICE thing and then. Oh, the. He's just a little boy. I guarantee you that guy was not just a little boy. Maybe he looked young, maybe he was shorter. I don't know, maybe he's Guatemalan. They tend to be shorter on average. But he's just a little boy who probably was dealing drugs or some sort of violent Crime, criminal history that they're taking out of our country because he's here illegally. Oh, my gosh. I will not make any jokes about the 19th Amendment here. That is not what I will do. I'm not stooping to that level. All right, a lot of stuff to get to here in today's segment. Today's offering of official Business. Like I teased earlier on in the show, today's Official Business will highlight several of the libs in apparently a competition with themselves to call the SAVE act the worst thing they could possibly find. Now, we're going to start light hearted here. This is a social media post from Representative Lauren Underwood in which she takes her best shot at calling the state the Save Act. The worst word possible. Right? They're. What they're trying to do is escalate it. At least I think they're in a competition with other libs to escalate the SAVE act to the most abhorrent description. Here is Representative Laura Underwood's attempt at that in this social media video. This is cut 8.
Podcast Host
Republicans are trying to make it harder for you to vote. Let me tell you how the Save America act would require your passport or your birth certificate to match your current name in order to be able to vote. If y' all got married and changed your name, your birth certificate would not match your current name. Nearly 69 million women in America have a birth certificate that does not match their current name, and therefore, still 69 million American women would no longer be eligible to vote.
Joe Bob
I mean, aside from the fact that that's not true, it is hilarious. But honestly, Representative Lauren, it's not exactly your best work. I think that there are more derogatory, abhorrent descriptions you can use to call the very, very reasonable SAVE act, which says that, hey, you should be a citizen to vote. Not really sure why that's controversial, but again, libs are doing their best to call it the most abhorrent thing they've ever seen. By the way, too, just to very quickly hit on that. 69 million married women aren't going to be able to vote. I mean, there's. On one hand, you. You have the example of, well, okay, libs or lib women are the ones who tend to not get married. So what you're saying is conservative women won't be able to vote. Why would that be a problem for libs? Again, if I'm looking at this super cynically, which I don't actually think, because on the other hand, it's just factually inaccurate. You can also just bring Your marriage certificate. Again, it shows your updated name. So the whole thing is a moot point other than the fact that they're trying to get the most derogatory, abhorrent term in there. Up with her entry into the worst thing that they could possibly call the very, very reasonable legislation is Representative Catherine Clark in her entry into the competition between libs to see what they can call this, as if it's the worst thing in the world. Cut nine.
Representative Catherine Clark
They're trying to say this is a voter ID bill. That's not what's happening here. Let's just look at a typical mom. You guys must know some working mothers, the ones that I hear from across my district and across this country, they are struggling to put food on the table for their kids, working two jobs to try and make ends meet, trying to juggle getting their kids to school, maybe catching an occasional game, fearing they're never going to be able to find child care they can afford, and praying nobody in the family gets sick because they can't afford a doctor.
Joe Bob
Doctor either.
Representative Catherine Clark
And now you're going to say to those women because they got married and changed their names, they have to go down to a clerk and prove their citizens, sign affidavits, do this in person. This is a minefield of red tape that you have put in front of women and American citizens.
Joe Bob
Now it's fascinating here because the, the terms have changed. Last week it was minorities are too stupid to vote. Now it's women are too stupid to get an ID to vote. I also love the big long setup. Moms have to make meals for their kids. They're rushing. I mean, I'm not, you know, degrading that at all. Being a mom is a very, it's a full time job. But then she even makes the joke that I would make. So therefore they don't have time to go down to the clerk, get their marriage license, which they probably already have in their home in a filing cabinet somewhere. Why? So hold on, they're doing all of these things and therefore they can't do this. They're doing, they're able to juggle all of these very difficult, very time consuming tasks. But the one thing they can't do is the probably pretty easy task, which is open your filing cabinet, go into the marriage or the certificates thing and it's past your passport, but grab your birth, your marriage certificate and that shows your name. So, so they're so busy with all of these very difficult tasks, very time consuming tasks, that they can't do the easy task all Right, Good one. I'm not. I'm not sure. I'm feeling that. I think if I were to pick a winner here of the most. Well, the most derogatory thing they can call the very, very reasonable legislation, it would actually be from Representative Delia Rodriguez Ramirez. I'm sorry, Representative Ramirez is, I think, our winner. When it comes to how much she can trash a legislation that the overwhelming majority agrees with, here is her offering. And then, believe me, I think that this is the winner. Cut down him here.
Representative Delia Rodriguez Ramirez
My colleagues on the other side of the aisle, what I hear is the same racist, misogynistic trash, different decade. Republicans are invoking historical policies intended, let's be clear, to disenfranchise Americans, especially working people, women, students, indigenous people, and anyone who can't afford the burdens of a new bill. The Save America act is yet another Republican attempt to intimidate and suppress the votes of anyone, anyone who threatens their extremist white supremacist agenda.
Joe Bob
Yes, yes, we got white supremacist in there. I was. I was frantically taking down notes of all of the different buzzwords, the lib buzzwords that she used. And I was hoping. I was just hoping get to white supremacist. We got racist, misogynistic, disenfranchised, indigenous, intimidate, suppress. The holy grail of derogatory things said about something that pretty much everybody agrees with. By the way, 83% of Americans support voter ID laws, including 82% of Latino Americans, 76% of black Americans. And this is all because of white supremacy. The overwhelming majority of all of the minorities included in this poll are only doing so because of white supremacy. I. We should have a producer, Glenn. Let's figure out a way to set up, like a lib. Buzzword bingo. I think that'll. That'll do really, really well in official business, but this has been official business. Actually. You know what? Got time for one more? This is official business by proxy. This is the governor of a state's wife taking over his. This club has just been floating around. I just have to play it. This is Jen Newsom, Governor Newsom's wife, taking over a press conference that he's at saying to the reporters, hey, you're. You're asking the wrong questions. You're asking bad questions. So ask better questions, because my husband and all of these people deserve to be asked questions that we want asked. I kid you not. That's what she said. Cut 11.
Jen Newsom
We. We just find it incredulous that we have Planned Parenthood here. And women are 51% of the population. And the majority of the questions, all of these questions have really been about other issues. So it's just fascinating. You have this incredible women's caucus and all these allies, and you're not asking about it. And this happens over and over and over and over again. You wonder why we have such a horrific war on women in this country and that these guys are getting away with it because you don't seem to care.
Joe Bob
I. So, okay, so is her. Is her rationale. Hey, the governor's here. As you can see, there's lots of women behind him. Why would you ask him about the rampant fraud going on in his state? There are women here. Can't you see that? And there's a war on women, which I'm not sure that I wasn't sure that existed. I had first time hearing about it. But apparently there is one. Even though there's one side of the political aisle that, you know, venerates women, but it's not them. You can't ask these questions because look at all the women standing around. And the allies, of course. Hilarious. This has been today's offering of official business. Official business has now concluded. We will be right back after the break to discuss the new Thursday Thursday tribunal. It's judgment Thursday. Tptvsa.com if you have any thoughts on anything we've talked about here or things that we should be talking about, let us know in your email. We'll be right back after break.
Tom Homan / Police Spokesperson / Reporter
This is a cast and Danish production which is entirely Nordic. It therefore has some lack of diversity, you would say, as also new rules implied. Hollywood.
Joe Bob
Are you on to.
Tom Homan / Police Spokesperson / Reporter
Sorry, but from the get go. From the get go, there is some.
Joe Bob
Okay, well, first of all, the film takes place in denmark in the 1750s. I'm not sure what movie that is, but I'm gonna have to go see it now. The reporters say there's a severe lack of diversity. There's no black people in this movie. The guy, without saying it, says no Black people in 1750s Denmark. Sorry, I got. Not a, you know, massive core of the population. Wow, that's. That's fascinating. I. I can't believe that that was a serious question. It is time for the brand new segment. It is Tribunal Thursday or Judgment Thursday or one of those things. Here's the zinger. Thursday Tribunal. Justice Thursday. Oh, the Thursday Tribunal. Or other words, Justice Thursday. Now, the rules are, I am the judge, jury, executioner. We will take in a piece of content together and I will rule. And also, if Appropriate sentence the offender to what I believe is an appropriate sentence for the crime that they have committed in my eyes again and the all being all seeing eye of justice in today's Thursday tribunal. You know that's very jokey and hokey but it's actually the first one up is kind of serious and I, I wish I wasn't so jokey hokey here but play cut 12 if you have.
Tom Homan / Police Spokesperson / Reporter
Questions, I'm prepared to take them at this time.
Joe Bob
Officer Romina, DEA from Global News. Could you please expand a little bit on the suspect? Was he known to police?
Podcast Host
Were there any red flags regarding his mental health?
Tom Homan / Police Spokesperson / Reporter
So suspect is identified as an 18 year old female by the name of Jesse.
Joe Bob
So that is the spokesperson for the police there in that Canadian city in which a trans person, a mentally ill trans person killed six people in a school and including eight people in total, including several family members, his mother and I believe sister. And a reporter is asking hey, have you heard of this guy before? And he said, well actually you know the important thing is we respect the murderous killer's pronouns. What is the crime being levied at this particular individual? As the, you know, prosecutor myself, I think the charges being brought against this guy is walls level retardation. And also as the judge I find him guilty. Sorry, as the jury, I find him guilty. As the judge I sentence him to life imprisonment. Let's not go that. No, no, it's the death penalty. I, I, I'm kidding. I think life in prison is, is just in fine. You know, I would love to have more Thursday tribunals or justice Thursday clips. We've got several lined up but we're running out of time because I don't know, there's a lot to get to. There's so much to get to. And I want to leave time for your emails. TPT tbsa.com is the email if you'd like to participate in our mailbag segment which is the last segment of the day. And remember, if your emails or comments are gross, disgusting, violent, bigoted, they actually have a better shot of being read here on the show. TPT tbsa.com we'll be right back after the break. Don't go away.
Roommate / Caller
I am feeling exhausted because I just had a really long conversation with my roommate about his white privilege and the fact that I work harder than him for the things that we have, including the roof over our head. He walks through life with everyone just giving him whatever he wants.
Joe Bob
And.
Roommate / Caller
Yeah, he takes advantage of people especially because he's also handsome. He's A good looking boy. So it was a tough conversation but I'm glad I had it. And I think he's, he's better for it. Do you think you're better for it?
Joe Bob
Deletes paragraph. You had me in the first half. Not gonna lie. That was some solid trolling. I was. I. Yeah, I don't. I think I was about to hate that guy a lot and turns out he's making a hilarious joke which I think is hilarious. Kudos like as a Deletes paragraph. Let's get some mailbag on the topic of the students walking out of school which is freaking unbelievable. Mark asks, and many people ask this in the email tptp say. Com. Do schools still have truant officers? Thinks that having phones being out of play would be a fantastic idea for schools. That is correct. I think is Lana says this in our area, if students show up they are counted as present. If they stay X amount of hours they're counted as present for the whole day and the school gets the full amount for that day. Therefore they cannot. They can walk around during lunchtime or walk out during lunchtime, off campus lunches and the school still gets funded for the full day. That's a good point to point out. Lana. I don't think this applies here. I think obviously, you know, if, if you have a school where it offers you freedom, I went to a high school like that where you can, you know, drive to, in and out across the street or wherever and get lunch. As long as you're back by your next period, that's totally fine. I don't think that's what this is. I think this is, hey, if schools are allowing kids to just leave the classroom and I understand there's only so much schools can do, but if schools, if students are walking out of the class, that, that's, that's a different thing than going off campus for a lunch which is often approved and you have certain privileges in school and you can get those privileges revoked. So yeah, I don't think that's what this is but good thing to point out there. Richard from New Mexico says New Mexico has the worst stats in the nation. We were talking yesterday about the expenses of students per year and whether or not those students actually learned anything. He says they ranked 50th out of 50 50th and 51st with only 50 states. He says this only lives will be proud of the stupidest people in the nation. And you know, I will not say that to necessarily the kids, but I will say that to the People that are educating or trying to educate the kids. Those people are the stupid ones that are unfortunately yielding terrible outcomes for students and kids. He does say, though, we rank 51st out of 50, 50 states because they include D.C. sometimes, and they even rank lower than that. So, yeah, the massive expense being put towards government schools is in so many ways not worth it because New Mexico spends a decent amount of money on their schools relative to their cost of living. Let's see. Don says this. Imagine the chaos if parents decided to send their kids to Catholic Lutheran Christian schools more broadly. They'd get a better education and the state wouldn't get any money. That is. That's a good point. I actually should look into this because during COVID a bunch of parents were homeschooling their kids or sending them to private schools because schools were open. This is in California. California then passed some sort of amendment, and I gotta refresh my brain on this, where the. The funding for the schools, at least at that point in time, didn't change due to absences or people getting yanked out of schools. Which is crazy to me. And if that's still in place, that. That is a big problem. But, yeah, no, you should send your kids if you can, if you can afford it, if you're able to do it. Do not put your kids into government schools under any circumstances. Last thing I'll say here is Bruce sent me a reel of what the Bad Bunny lyrics actually said when translated. Unfortunately, Bruce, I also can't play those lyrics due to FCC violations. That's gonna do it for us today. I really appreciate you taking the time tuning in. We will see you tomorrow. Same time, same place. God bless America.
