We can make work a better place for healing, learn more and sign the pledge at working with cancer pledge.com CNN is producing a documentary that highlights how awful and bad those polite, nice, churchgoing Christians actually are in this country. They are the real danger. Or should I say we Also governor Newsom sticks his foot in his mouth a number of times over the weekend on his book tour proclaiming the fact that he can't read. Also, a man shot inside the perimeter at Mar a Lago, the Narco terr War, the U.S. olympic hockey team gold medals. So much to get to. My name is Joe Bob. Thanks for so much for tuning in. The show starts right now. The very moral system that this country was founded on and thankfully has continued up until the last 20 years or so is just the worst thing in the world. So says allegedly a CNN documentary that nobody has seen yet that was supposed to air on Sunday. But we'll get to all of that after I remind you tptp USA.com is the email address and you'd like to send your all on your thoughts, comments, concerns, even criticisms. We allow that here on this show. Those are welcome. TPTP USA.com and remember, if those comments are just nasty, vile and disgusting, it'll actually fit in with exactly what we do here on this show, as alleged by the several live media outlets that that have called us such things. TPTP USA.com is that email address. There was a lot of buzz about a CNN documentary that was supposed to come out this past Sunday but didn't for reasons we don't actually know, even though there was a reason given. Doesn't actually seem like that was likely, but we'll talk about that in just a quick second. The documentary in question is called the Rise of Christian Naturalism, and the context that it's put in by CNN is just, oh no, how bad and terrible this whole idea of Christian nationalism is. Now on its face, I've never really understood the term Christian nationalism. I am a Christian and also a nationalist. It really depends on how you define it. And without getting into all of the different ways it can be defined because some of them are good and some of them are bad. Let's take what CNN is defining it as. This is Pamela Brown, the co host of the Situation Room, highlighting the new documentary that she has spent months working on and defines what is so bad about Christian nationalism. Cut six for the past several months I've been working on a special project examining the growing influence of Christian nationalism in America. If you're not familiar, Christian nationalism is an ideology rooted in the belief that our country was founded as a Christian nation and that our laws and institutions should reflect Christian values. So what I gathered in the way that Pamela Brown is describing and defining what Christian nationalism is, is that this country was founded on Christian ideals, which it was. So, okay, teaching people that something is accurate I'm not entirely sure how that's so terrible, but also that Christians would like their ideas into US Policy, which again, considering that Christianity is the foundation of Western civilization more broadly and more specifically the United States as a whole, I'm not entirely sure how that would be a bad thing. It seems like a very, very stupid premise. And the only way that that actually makes sense is that, well, Pamela Brown hosts the Situation Room on CNN with Wolf Blitzer. And it is a longstanding tradition that the hosts of the Situation Room on CNN are very, very stupid. Don't believe me? I have evidence. Here's video from a couple years ago when Wolf Blitzer was on Celebrity Jeopardy. Now, we all know that Celebrity Jeopardy. Is not exactly the hardest questions in the world. It's for charity. There's celebrities there having fun. It's not really that serious of a thing. It's relatively easy to win or at least get a dollar in Celebrity Jeopardy. And unfortunately, the co host of the Situation Room did not even do that. Here's a clip of Wolf Blitzer just a couple years ago demonstrating what I believe is a long standing tradition of CNN to host the Situation Room. It ha. You have to be a complete moron. Watch this. Here's the host of the Situation Room, journalist Wolf Blitzer. Name of this pasta similar to penny means little mustaches. Doesn't sound so tasty now, Wolf, what is fettuccine? No. King David and Jesus both hailed from this town. Wolf, what is Jerusalem? No. An accused person in court along with his counsel, but as a defendant. No, from a larger work. Wolf, annotated no. Add one of this five letter word that refers to an economic crash and the fear driven rush to sell. Well, what is a crash? No, Wolf, things have not worked out as well as you had hoped for, I'm sure. There again is the co host and which again it makes sense because you have to be a complete moron to host the Situation Room as Wolf Blitzer there ends with negative $4,600 in celebrity jeopardy. Okay, so my point is is that generally speaking, the people that host that show are monumentally stupid. Or so it seems. Now, what tied me to this documentary put out by cnn, produced by cnn, not yet put out is that the first part, the teaser that they played was from Charlie's memorial. I'm going to play you kind of the setup of that and then we're going to play some of the clip that they have in this documentary. But here is kind of her setting up the teaser saying that Charlie's Memorial was the catalyst for all of these bad Christian nationalists. Cut eight in the lead up to my hour long documentary this weekend we're going to bring you a preview of what you'll see starting off with the assassination of Charlie Kirk last year. Experts say it was a pivotal moment for the movement and an occasion where the tragedy of his loss unified Christian nationalists and the Trump administration as they honored him, which of course is the worst possible thing to have happen. The unification of people in this country gathering around to celebrate the life and also mourn one of our great Christian evangelists being murdered in cold blood. How terrible it is that people unified around that. Here are some of the clips that they played from the actual memorial within the context of their documentary. Here's some clips from the documentary which again, if you notice, even the music isn't like upbeat and happy. And the clip following this is going to really indicate where this documentary is going. This is cut nine. September 21, 2025. America is a nation in grief, a nation in shock and a nation in mourning. Charles James Kirk was heinously murdered. That young man, I forgive him. Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and prominent Christian nationalist, was assassinated. It became a rallying call for those who believed in his message. Our greatest evangelists for American liberty became immortal and it was a call to action. My charge to all of you, put Christ at the center of your life as he advocated for giving his. Now obviously the tenor around that is look at how bad this is. Look at all of these people that are being motivated by this horrible, horrible, disgusting assassination. Pete Hegset saying, hey, put Christ at the center of your life. He didn't say, make sure that the government policy institutes this note you as an individual. And then of course we can't not mention Erica there. I have never been more moved at a live and in person thing of any nature then when Erica sat up there and said, I forgive him. Erica throughout this whole thing has been braver, more courageous, more resilient than any person I've ever seen do anything. And not only from attacks from the outs, the political adversaries, but from other crazy attacks that nobody could have was, could have seen. She has been unbelievable, unbelievably admirable I think is the word I've used in this whole situation and deserves credit for, for that. But what I would like to zone in on here is, zoom in on here is this idea that a Christian nationalism is so such a bad thing. Imagine if Erica wasn't doing what she is doing, being a stable rock forgiving the way that Christ would hope that we would forgive. Imagine if instead she said, I'm angry, which she would have every right to be. Let's burn things down. Imagine if she would have taken the same approach that all of the insane BLM activists, George Floyd, crazy people took. Imagine if she had taken the same approach and said, you know what? Burn it all down. One, if I'm being completely honest with you, she might be entirely justified in doing. I wouldn't be able to blame her at all, the position that she's in. But instead she let her moral guidance dictate how she was going to proceed. And she proceeded in as close to how I think a forgiving savior would in that same position. Not saying Eric is Jesus. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is as close as it can get. She's exemplifying it. And imagine if she wasn't. Imagine the amount of chaos that could be inflicted on this country. And yet CNN seems to be making the case this is a bad thing. Now you may be thinking, well, they haven't said anything explicitly that this is a bad thing. Not exactly. Yet the clip that followed immediately after the memorial footage kind of implies that, especially with the person that they brought on. This is Dr. Matthew D. Taylor, who CNN decided specifically to interview and specifically put his segment where right after the memorial where everybody was saying, draw closer to Christ and he says, this is bad. Cut 10. Memorial service was one of the most potent examples of this shift in our culture that we're experiencing right now where a large segment of American Christians are being activated by these ideas, radicalized by these ideas that say that they are the persecuted ones and that they need to stand up for Christians rights. That is about as gaslighting as gaslighting gets. Ah, yeah. The Christians who believe that they're being persecuted, that their customs and cultures are being thrown aside, they're the ones with the problem that's not actually happening. Then the whole idea of like, well, this is radicalizing people. No, this is. This is people revitalizing their faith. Everything that this guy said in this very brief clip is wrong. And it's wrong for the purpose of attacking what otherwise could be a beautiful moment in this country's trajectory. So I was wondering, of course, like, okay, well, who is this guy? Who is this guy that CNN on purpose put at the end of or after the footage that they had from Charlie's memorial? Well, like I said, it's a guy named Matthew D. Taylor who also wrote this book the violent, take it by force, the Christian movement that is threatening democracy. Because of course, everything is threatening democracy. I don't like it. It's a threat to democracy. But pretending that the Christians are the ones that are being violent. Okay, and are the violent Christians in the room with us now? Now, here's what. We can roll our eyes at this, and we should. And we can look at this as idiotic, and we should. But at the same time, I would like to give, you know, some fairness here. What I would think he would say, and I think he would say this only because it's the only way that this could feasibly make any sense, even though I disagree with it, is that, well, he might say this. The ideas of Christianity, the morals of Christianity, are built into our system. Therefore they work our way, their way into our laws. And because they're in our laws, and enforcement of those laws unfortunately require violence, therefore Christians violence. Now, obviously that's not true, but also, it's ridiculous. If that's the case that he's making. What he's saying is, then there's a conflation between enforcement of legal code of laws and violence for the sake of overthrow. They're the same thing. If that is in fact the argument that he's making, which I believe it is, because it's the only one that kind of makes sense and it's wrong. But I can see how someone would get there. But the reality is that enforcement, while sometimes may require violence, is not in any way, shape or form like the violence that is necessary to overthrow something. Yes, the principles of this country, which were based in Christian morality, are part of our laws, and they always will be. But the enforcement of those laws don't make a case of why Christianity is bad, which it seems that they are doing. But I think the biggest, broadest part here that is fascinating is this idea that seems to be inserting itself that this movement, if you want to call it that, of Christianity, is abnormal, which is just as far from the truth as it can get. The abnormality is not the resurgence of Christianity. The abnormality actually is what happened over the last 20 years, over the last two decades, where people deviated from religion. Now, maybe it's a little bit longer, maybe it's 40, 50 years. But basically, through the entirety of this country's history and the entire history of Western civilization as a whole, the last 2,000 years, people have been religious. People have had Judeo Christian values that guided the trajectory of their life. It's only up until very recently that people said, ah, to hell with that. We don't that, that's dumb. We don't need that. And yet people that are anti Christian values in this country pretend that the revitalization of Christianity this country is the weird thing. This is a movement, it's a flash in the pan. But if we don't be careful, it could become bigger. No, the reality is the flash in the pan was what they have done in their deviation away from Christianity and away from religious moral virtue. That's the abnormal part. The revitalization of Christianity in this country is exactly what it is. It's being revitalized. In other words, it has always been there and it always will be there so long as the United States is a country and bringing it back to life, bringing what led to the greatest civilization mankind has ever known, the United States of America or Western civilization more broadly, bringing that back, revitalizing that is not a bad thing and you're an idiot if you think it is. I debated on whether or not to play that Charlie Kirk clip of him going through through every single instance where Christianity was embedded in the founding, but it's like five minutes long. And as I was watching it trying to decide whether or not it should be on the show, I was like, I can't. There's nowhere to cut this. If you don't know what I'm talking about, send us, send us an email tptbusa.com I'll send you the link. It is the greatest performance of dictating what was in a historical fashion. This is how things were when the founding took place. And it I, it blows my mind how Charlie's brain was able to work like that. But if you'd like a link to that, send us an email tptbusa.com we'll be right back after the break. Don't go away. No, because they're preventing me from getting my son to his therapy. Please don't tell me what is. No, sir, please. You don't put your hands on me. She is. She is a bit. Do not resist. Don't resist. Don't resist. I'm not doing anything. You know what's interesting is that the academies and the left and all of the institutions that the libs have pride themselves on being academics. We are educated people, except for nobody educated them. Unlike street smarts. Like if a cop tells you to get out of your car, get out of your car. Is it, is it that hard? And then you might be able to say, well, they shouldn't be doing this. Great. We have the best legal system, the best court system, the best justice system anywhere. Is it perfect? No, but it's as. As good as. I mean, it's better than anywhere else in the world. So the chances, if they're doing something illegal, that being law enforcement, of you winning a case are pretty good. Or it could be the fact that you just comply and you don't have to deal with any of that sort of stuff to begin with. Because so many of these, so many of the times that people get hit with extra charges are for doing stuff like this. And Also too, if you see something like that happening, don't tell the cops to back up. I realize none of you need to be told this, but it's just, it is, it's crazy to me that the people who pride themselves on we're the intellectual academic class are so stupid in so many ways. I don't understand a lot of things happening around the world. I know we talked about the CNN thing, but holy cow, there's so many things to get to. It's time to get to the point, get to the point, get to the. A lot of stuff to get to going on around the world. A lot of stuff that I'd love to do more on, but I just, we just don't have the time here on this show. So we're going to kind of bullet point it here. Let's see. This is wild. Armed man. This is from, I believe the ap. Armed man shot and killed after entering secure perimeter at Mar a Lago. Secret Service says you probably know quite a bit about this already. There's no real need to dig into it a ton. But an armed man drove into the secure perimeter at Mar a Lago, President Trump's resort in Palm beach and was shot and killed after Secret Service agents said, hey, he was carrying a gas can and shotgun. Again, I know probably all of you know this, carrying gas can, a shotgun. Secret Service approached him, he said, hey, drop what you have, dropped the gas can. And according to the police and Secret Service, he then raised the firearm to a shooting position and then was fatally shot. Fafo, like, don't, I don't know what his objective was, but holy cow, don't do that. And if you do, you're going to suffer the consequences of it. President Trump was not there. He was at the White House. And that's that, that's, it's, it's again, people trying to attack the people in power, conservatives. It's as unfortunately, and this is tragic, this is nothing new. Even though it's, it's horrifying to begin with. Speaking of horrifying. Well, horrifying, but also like not horrifying kind of. It's complex is what I'm ultimately trying to say. The story, that guy named El Mencho was a powerful Jalisco new generation cartel leader, was killed by Mexican security forces. So that's, that's good, right? You want cartel leaders to not be around and doing the things that they're doing. Drug running is bad and it is good that Mexico is stepping up to the plate and saying, yeah, we're not gonna let this happen. At least we're gonna try our best to thwart the activities of the murderous, horrible drug cartel gangs. But also over the weekend you saw a bunch of violence happening perpetrated a lot by the cartels. I think it was something like 2020 Mexican national security officials were killed over the weekend in the Puerto Vallarta area, which is. Holy cow. That is, that's, that's, that's awful. The retaliation there's terrible. Anyways, the headline here from the Washington Post, Mexico braces for more violence in the wake of top cartel leaders killing. The killing of El Mencho triggered reality retaliatory attacks across Mexico, including Puerto Vallarta and Cancun. The US Is warning that citizens ship shelter in place which, holy cow, that's gonna be a really, really interesting. Going forward again, hoping and praying for all the safety of really everybody there, but obviously also the American citizens that are vacationing in those areas as very popular vacation destinations. And at the same time, you know, I, I had to make a political point about this, but dang, if that sort of stuff can happen like a hundred miles south of us, I. Maybe we should not let that culture come in here. I just, just a thought. I know that might sound crazy, but just a thought. Another point around getting to the point here. This is from Gateway pundit. I thought this was really interesting and needs to be talked about more. Maybe we'll do a little bit more about this, diving in a little bit further in the coming days, but. A beloved New York teacher was placed on leave after helping students launch a TP USA chapter. Again, more persecution. I wish, I wish my reaction to this wasn't, Yeah, I mean, this is to be expected. Obviously, the teacher stepping up to the plate and helping out Turning Point USA is a fantastic thing for her to do. Obviously, we hate all the consequences. And unfortunately this comes as a shock to nobody. Conservatives being pushed off of campuses everywhere in so many different instances. This is one in New York. There's also Point Loma. There's a bunch of different places that have kicked Turning Point off. And interestingly enough, and ironically, they themselves exemplify the very reason why Turning Point needs to, to be on these campuses. Because they're not welcome there. Jennifer Fasulo, a. I think I'm pronouncing that right. A popular Spanish teacher at Charles W. Barker High School in Baldwinsville, New York, was placed on paid administrative leave after she helped students establish a Turning Point USA chapter student initiative demanding her reinstatement gathered 2,100 signatures arguing she should not face punishment for personal political beliefs, which honestly at this point, it's a cultural belief thing. I mean, yes, politic politics is how we judge where the culture is by way of elections, but it's a, it's a cultural thing that says, hey, I believe that the United States is good, inherently good, and I think we need to teach people about that. And for that she was kicked out of school, placed on leave. The school district conference confirmed the leave, said they want an inclusive environment. Mixed reactions and some parents, I guess, opposed to the Turning Point chapter, said she should be terminated. Bottom line, it's, I hate to sound repetitive, but this sort of stuff is happening all over the place and it is the exact reason why Turning Point USA is incredibly important. Important on high school and college campuses nationwide, and why we continue to push the idea of conservative values and the founding into places where it's not welcome, as evidenced by the people that don't welcome it. Let's see, This I thought was interesting and I'm sure this news reached you and you've kind of heard about this. This is from cnn. DHS reversed course course on the TSA pre check suspension. After a bunch of confusion, the Department of Homeland Security initially announced that there was going to be a temporary suspension of TSA pre check and Global entries at 6pm 6am Sunday due to the partial government shutdown, to which I and everybody who has TSA precheck, which by the way is the best $80 you'll ever spend. This is not an endorsement. Although if they would like to send me some endorsement money, it's 80 bucks for five years and it's the best thing ever. Even if you fly like once every. Once every other year, it's still so worth it. But they announced, hey, during this whole partial government shutdown, you know, because libs don't want to fund enforcement of the laws that we all agree on, they're going to stop the TSA PreCheck caused a bunch of confusion, some potential disruption and they said actually, nevermind. So if you'd heard about that, TSA is not shutting. Sorry, TSA precheck is not shutting down. This is actually a really interesting thing. People for some reason think precheck is called tsa. No, TSA is the whole thing, right? Standard TSA lines and pre check lines are all tsa. And so people say, do you have tsa? Do you mean pre check? That just happens to me often at the airport and pretty much it's ubiquitous across all of the airports. I've flown around the country quite a bit and every single person refers to PreCheck as TSA. If you've noticed that or if that's happened to you, I'd actually love to hear from you. TBTVSA.com is the email address. Last point to get to. And this is the Tadri one. This. I am sorry to have to bring this to you, but it is something that you should see. This is from the New York Times. Kid you not. This is an actual headline that happened over the weekend. Constant sexual aggression drives Female Tortoises to walk off cliffs. Okay, how. How much digging in do you want me to do on this? That's. That's that. This is a headline in the New York Times. Constant sexual. Obviously what they're doing is highlighting the fact that men want the thing that they want most in the world and that is ubiquitous across all species, including tortoises. And it's driving some female tortoises to take their own lives. Holy cows. New York Times. This is a wild headline, but all right. On the remote island of Gollum Grad in North Macedonia. It doesn't matter. I basically what's. What the New York Times is trying to convey here is hey, is your husband getting handsy? And if he is, know that you're not alone. Female tortoises are sick of it too. In this small area where interestingly enough the there's a drastic ratio bat imbalance like 19 to 1, men to women, men to women, male tortoises to female tortoises on this particular island and that's fueled the relentless sexual aggression that the New York Times did a full freaking article on. I. Okay, uh, all right, well that has been. Get to the point. Appreciate you sticking around, tuning in for that. Uh, tptbsa.com is the email address. What. What are your hard hitting thoughts on the sexual relations of tortoises in an African geographical area island. Let us know tbt tpusa.com and also, hang on. Maybe, maybe you're a wife like many wives out there that not a big fan of all the handsiness going on by their husbands who simply want the only thing they've ever wanted. Is that is it justification that look, this is justified. I'm irritated and that's justifiable as evidenced by these tortoises that the New York Times wrote an article tbtbsa.com hey, we'll be right back after the break. Don't go away. Democratic Socialism Socialism has killed hundreds of millions in the last century. Was that too many or not enough? You pu Er. Better women have tried and failed, lady. Yeah, advocating for socialism is. Is. Is effectively advocating for the deaths of millions. Tens of millions, hundreds of millions. But yeah, you know, they're the nice people. They're the we're promoting joy and happiness and everyone will be equal. Yeah, we'll have to kill several million people in order for them to be equal, but what are you gonna do? Uh, speaking of socialists, I actually don't think he's a socialist. Governor Newsome in California, I think he's cynical, crazy person. I think a lot of his policy positions are very, very stupid. But I don't actually think he's a socialist. But Governor Newsom is making the rounds. He's got a new book coming out which he's promoting, which it's kind of this weird position that puts us in. Like we want to cover the dumb things that he says when he sticks his foot in his mouth during interviews and going on his book tour, we obviously want to cover that. And at the same time, if the goal is to get your book talked about, we're doing it. We're playing right into Governor Newsom's hand. I tend to think that the more we get out the fact that guy doesn't actually believe in anything. Yeah, he's a smooth talker. But wait till you open up the hood. Maybe wait till you peel back the layers of the onion that is Gavin Newsom and not gonna be so great. So that's why I think we should continue talking about it. But we're gonna talk about quite a bit here. So Governor Newsom, because he's making the rounds on his book and because he is a sitting elected governor of the most populous state of the Union, the things that he say are official. Which leads us to the point, leads us to the segment Official Business. Up first on Official Business, here's Governor Newsom talking about affordability and the official business of California. To respond to that affordability, here's him with CNN's Dana Bash, who, interestingly enough, kind of pushes back on him. Here's Gavin Newsom displaying some official business. California has the highest cost of living in the nation. The State's prices are 11% higher than the national average. We were actually out to dinner here in Nashville last night. We met a couple from California. They moved out of California because they couldn't afford the rent or even to buy a home. Home and also start a family. Yeah, we've had hundreds of thousands of people move in California last two, three years. We've seen population growth. As you know, we've moved from six to the fourth largest economy in the world. And we dominate now in every key industry. From AI, Quantum, robotics. We dominate an ag, we dominate forestry. People are struggling to afford things like your mom was. Okay, lot of things to get to here. We'll try and keep it brief. Basically, Gavin Newsom said, no, no, no, people aren't leaving California. They're coming to California. Yeah, look at the U Haul numbers. That's the best marker of where people are migrating to. And a ton of people are leaving California. Yes, a couple people have moved back to California, but that number is trounced by the number of people leading the second thing. He says, well, we went from the sixth largest economy to the fourth largest economy. We've talked about this a number of times on this show that. But California's economy, a massive percentage of it, is built on its own interrelationship with itself in other words, look, a lot of people have jobs. Yeah, there are a bunch of government jobs that are just made up and don't actually do anything. And you're pretending. No, look at, this is economic growth. No, you're just redistributing the money that you're already taxing people so it doesn't count as. Well, look at, look at the highest, the, the people who work government jobs that don't actually do anything and are just part of this massive bureaucratic rank regulatory force don't actually add any gross domestic product benefit, even if you're going to count them. They don't actually do anything other than suck off the taxpayer dollar. The last thing here, which I think is hilarious. Gavin Newsom is, talks about his mother, single mom, working, working nine jobs. And you know, he grew up in the streets even though he's rich. He grew up in the streets of California and is. His mother couldn't afford anything. And Dana Bash even says, like your mother, she couldn't afford things. That's the problem. Gavin was a well known, I mean, he was a well known rich kid like his entire life. His dad was like the attorney, the guy that represented the Getty family and their fund, their trust fund. Richest family in the world for a long time. Like, okay, cool, Gavin, it just, he grew up and survived on breadcrumbs that people were able to toss to him as he begged poorly on the streets. And his poor mother, that sure was getting a ton of money from his very, very rich dad. Just struggling to make ends meet. If that is struggling, where do I sign up? But Governor Newsom continued to go on more of a book tour and gave some more official business happening through the weekend. He was in Nashville. He's again doing his book tour. He's in Nashville on I think Saturday and I think yesterday or Nashville on Friday. Doesn't matter. Over the weekend, he had two big stops. One in Nashville, one in Atlanta. We'll save the craziest one in Atlanta for the end here, but this is Governor Newsom talking about voter ID in Nashville and honestly, potentially even disqualifying himself for running for president. Watch this. So this is madness. Voter id. It's not about voter id. The same act's not about that. It's about registration. It's about proving your citizenship with a passport. Not everyone has a passport. If you where. I don't, I don't know where my, you know where your birth certificate is. I lost that at seven. I mean, I don't even know where to begin. To get it back. He starts off with a very interesting line and says, it's about proving your citizenship. To register. Yes. Correct. Mr. Newsom, thank you so much for making our case for us. And then goes on to suggest what I believe is a disqualifying asset attribute of Governor Newsom. He has no idea where his birth certificate is. How do we even know he was born here? Was he born in Kenya? I don't know. I'm just saying that Governor Newsom has no proof that he was born in this country, therefore disqualifying him from the presidency of the United States of America. I actually think this is a fantastic thing. Maybe we should look into the fact that Gavin Newsom could have been born in Kenya. I don't know is what I'm saying. I don't know. But of course, that was not the most shove your foot into your mouth moment that Governor Newsom had over the weekend, which I'd like to play for you here. While talking to a black moderator in Atlanta, a predominantly black city, Governor Newsom said, I'm just like you. I'm just like you in that I'm dumb. Which maybe displays what he really thinks about black people. This is cut 13. I'm not, you know, I'm not trying to impress you. I'm just trying to impress upon you. I'm like you. I'm no better than you. You know, I'm a 960sat guy. And, you know, and I'm not trying to offend anyone. You know, trying to act all there, if you got 940. But literally a 960 SAT guy. I cannot. You've never seen me read a speech because I cannot read a speech. Okay, now he's talking about dyslexia. I'm not convinced that he has dyslexia to the extent that he says he does. Like, I can't even. I can't read anything. I'm not willing to say that you don't have dyslexia, but I am not convinced that it's the level that he continues to say it is. But then again, basically saying, look, I'm not trying to. I'm just like you, Mr. Guy who's Sitting next to me happens to be black. I'm kind of dumb, huh? What an odd thing to say. Are you implying something there, Governor Newsom? This reminds me of the. I should have pulled the clip of Joe Biden saying, poor kids are just as smart as white kids. What are you saying there? But of course, you know, racism predominantly exists on the left side of the political aisle because of the bigotry of soft expectations. Low expectations. The soft bigotry of low expectations. I guess if I'm quoting it correctly, I believe that's Condoleezza Rice who said that. But wow. Wow. That's all the time we have for in official business. I think that's. Wow. We've got a ton more to get to. Maybe we'll get to it later on in the week coming up. I got. Well, I may have mentioned that. I haven't mentioned US Hockey team. I want to play a couple folks. Oh shoot. I don't have time for that either. We'll play a couple different things regarding US Hockey and just America being freaking awesome after the break. Tptpsa.com don't go away. Okay, I don't I don't know what to do with this. Fat people are. Have decided. Would you mind if we skip the scale? I mean, even if you're unhealthy, wouldn't you want to know, like, kind of why be like, oh, well, my bigger body? No, you don't. You're overweight. I'm not saying that. That's. That doesn't make you a bad person. What makes you an idiot is not addressing that. That. That. That's really. I'm. I'm just gonna pretend it isn't happening. And, well, we'll. We'll just assume that everything is perfect. Good luck with that. I'm concerned for people like her. We just skip this count. Oh, my gosh. All right, let's see. In the limited time we have here, I was gonna play a clip of Ma' Am Danny over there in New York City with the whole ID thing. Maybe we'll play that tomorrow as it. As it kind of plays out. Because I am curious to see if more footage comes out of people having to show their ID in order to shovel snow but not have to show their ID to vote. Because I don't want to play that right the second. Because I want to leave enough time to play this. This happened yesterday morning, as I'm sure all of you are aware. And I personally would just like to take the latter part of the show to relive what I thought was one of the best moments in American sports in the last several years. This is the US Hockey team beating those Canadian turds. Clip one jump behind the net. And it's Morenski now. Jack Hughes pushing around the car. United States with numbers block. Across it comes Jack Hughes wins it. The golden goal for the United States. For the first time since the 1980 miracle, the United States takes the gold. Jack Hughes beating Jordan Benedict. Hell yeah. Pound sand commies. What is a kilometer poverty country so fired up by that. I thought it was actually really interesting, too, to kind of highlight the different personality. There's. There's so many clips we can play of the entire team partying in the locker room with Cash Patel, the FBI director who's a big hockey fan. Jack Hughes's interviews. Jeff Hughes's interview. Jack. Or Jeff Hughes's interviews when he was saying, I love this country. I'm so proud of. There's so much of that we just don't have time to get to. But I did want to talk about this just briefly. The guy got his tooth knocked out in the middle of the game. Some guy you've probably seen the clip, I didn't want to play it here is kind of hockey stick comes up, whacks him in the face, knocks his tooth out, stays in the game. Jack Hughes, a commenter said thank you, stays in the game, scores the winning goal. Is how what is more emblematic of the American fighting spirit than that freaking oh yes, somebody drew some parallels to United States hockey player. And then Anthony Davis, who's a basketball player who makes $59 million, I think a year and is out for the season because of a thumbnail injury or a fingernail injury and then juxtaposed it to good old American USA hockey. Get your tooth knocked out, stay in the game, score the winning goal, bring home glory for your country. Awesome. Just incredible. Congratulations Team usa. We did not win the medals counts. I think Norway had more medals than us over the US Olympics. So that's a problem and consequences should be dealt to those who did not who disgraced their country. I kid, but I don't know. I wasn't happy about that. Of all the great things, I wasn't happy that we did not secure more medals than Norway. But also they live in snow. Most of us don't. So that's a trade off. That's a trade off that I'm willing to make. Tptpsa.com is the email address. If you'd like to send along your thoughts, comments, concerns, even criticisms, don't go away. That was for free. Are you sure? Yeah, I will keep. Throw it away. No, no, no. I will keep it. You want it out of the trash, you're going to keep it? Yeah, I will keep it. Thank you. Thank you, sir. Good luck with it. Have a good day. What a lucky find. Yeah, I have a. I have a couple of those, too. Where I've just been, I don't know, walking through the store and. And the store managers like, I'm gonna throw this away. And I said, hold on, hold on, I'll take it. And then obviously, you know, when my wife asks, hey, where did you get this new fun toy that you have? I just let her know they were gonna throw it away at the store. And so that's why I have it. I. That's. It's happened so many times, and it's really interesting that it happens in other places. Honestly, you know, I'm glad people are being, you know, resourceful and, and good to the. The products, even the. The environment, even that. It's obviously bad to throw products away like that. So glad that guy was there to rescue that fishing pole from being unnecessarily thrown away. Let's get to our mailbag. Dave says, great show, FYI. Thank you. Dave says, FYI, he had to show his ID to ship a US UPS package on Saturday. Dave, I am sorry that you had to withstand that racist bigotry. It pains my heart to know that UPS forces him into something that can only be seen as racism by showing his id. Ship a package. Dave, I am sorry that you had to go through that, sincerely and honestly. That is a tragedy and inexcusable in this country. The racism that exists in that store. To ship that packages, dip that ship that package is inexcusable. I apologize on behalf of us as a country. Dave, we know that we are with you. Let's see. Christy says, why don't they just have the trans only, which I was kind of had. Yeah, I'm not, not a big fan of just the truth. The truth is a thing. I get it. So I don't want to, you know, deny the truth and have a third category. But then she says kind of like the Special Olympics, implying, I think that. I think I'm. I'm taking this as a joke, Christy, and I think you were making one kind of relating the trans mental delusion with inability to think, which, you know, obviously if you have that and it's a real thing, that's unfortunate. And you know, we would hope that outcomes could be as best as they possibly could for you and love to give charitably towards folks that have mental disabilities. But also the trans folks might be clumped in with that. That's the joke that I think you were making. That's the joke that I'll, I'll keep. Let's see, let's see, let's see. This is actually really interesting. Read the trans thing. Robert says this. Sorry to have to ask this. An elected official takes office, then decides to become a trans person. It could be argued that the trans person is not the person who was voted into office. You know, he said, I'm just wondering if anyone else is there has considered that. I honestly haven't, Robert, and I really. I kind of love that point. Hey, I voted. You're now a he. Him. I voted for the she. Her. This. This feels invalidating that actually. That's actually really. Maybe we should put a system in place that if you switch your identities after you've been elected, you effectively duped the people and lied to them. Lied to them in a way that isn't like, oh, I'm changing a policy position, I'm changing my entire being. So they would say, which I feel like is. Is like lying past. I had a policy decision change. No, that's like saying, oh, I'm an American citizen, jk. I'm not actually booted out of office. Good point, Robert. But that is all the time we have here on this episode of Turning Points.
