The Grammys were as woke as woke gets and I honestly think this is a massive win for conservatives. California is suing hospitals now if they don't perform transitioning surgery on transgender kids. Also Groundhog's Day Punxsutawney Phil comes in saying Ice is gonna be here in perpetuity until all the illegals out. I think that's what. I think that's what he's supposed to acknowledge. The Melania movie. So much more to get to. Thanks so much for tuning in. My name is Joe Bob. The show starts right now. Like I mentioned, I believe wholeheartedly and I will defend this position, that the woke Grammys is a massive win for the American political right. Before we get into that, Gotta remind you, tpt@tpusa.com is the email address if you'd like to send along your thoughts, comments, concerns, criticisms, even memes. We have a lot of folks sending funny, hilarious memes. I honestly can't spend too much time on it because I'll just keep watching all of the stuff that you guys send and laughing hysterically. But if you'd like to tptpsa.com is that email address. Leave a comment wherever it is that you happen to be watching this. And if those comments and emails are just disgusting, bigoted and downright dark, just terrible, it'll actually fit in with the tenor that we have here on the show. We could read them in our mailbag segment of the show, which is the fifth segment, if you'd like to be included, TPTP USA.com or leave a comment wherever it is that you happen to be watching. Like I mentioned, the Grammys happened last night and they were as woke and crazy as woke gets. I believe this is a fantastic win for conservatives for the simple fact and the simple idea that we'll back up with several different points here, that sunlight is the best disinfectant, our ideas are better. And the good news that I think we are seeing from the left is that their ideas aren't actually getting better and instead the people that are in the forefront of those ideas espousing what they believe are actually getting dumber and dumber. I mentioned many times on this show that while I disagree fervently with pretty much everything Nancy Pelosi has ever done, she's smart, she's tactical, she words things in such a way that makes the middle of the road voters go, hmm, maybe this time the things that the libs suggest might actually work, they never do. But she's good enough rhetorically to kind of weave those arguments in some way that makes people give some have some sort of false hope that, hey, they might work this time. Now, the case being made now for the lib policies and ideas again, doesn't moderate any of those policies and ideas because they're Just being promulgated by dumber people. And for that, I think this is a good thing. The American people, one, first of all, don't really watch the Grammys. I think last year we don't have the ratings as of right now, but last year there's around 15 million people in a country of 340 million people. That's about 4% of the population watched the Grammys. So one, nobody really watches the Grammys, but obviously a ton of the content has made its way to the Internet. And it's great because we have a debunking mechanism earlier on in the award shows. And really this is up until the last 10 years, you know, artists would be able to get up and say something, you know, politically charged. We need to stop climate change or this or that or the other thing, whatever it is that the libs believe. Believe. I use believe in air quotes at the current time. I support the current thing. And nobody really had any way of pushing back on that in today's world. We have the Internet. You have a voice, I have a voice. Tptpc.com leave a comment. Wherever it is that you're watching this, we all can participate in this conversation. And with that being the case, the dumb things that libs say at award shows now are just hit with the brute force of reality from online people that fact checked what they say kind of couch it in a different context. And so the Woker award shows get the more firepower and ammunition, rhetorically speaking, that we have. Also, I think the libs, I thought they would have learned their lesson. According to several of the award shows prior to this, the Golden Globes specifically, nobody really made political statements. I think the Golden Globes this year only had three people kind of make tangentially political statements. I kind of thought they'd wised up. They realized, holy cow, people don't actually like this, they don't want this, and we're going to back off of the political rhetoric when we get our award for a movie that we made. And honestly, even though I, I agree with the fact that nobody cares about your opinion, it gave us great firepower. Fortunately for us, the folks at the Grammys did not get that memo and took to the stage with idiocy, lunacy, to the applause of the entire arena and to the eye rollment of all of us, same people who now have an active participatory role in trashing all the things that they had to say. We started off, I mean, just, we've got several clips to play for you here. But specifically, there was a guy named Shaboozi, and I. I don't dislike that guy. I think I like his music. He's a Nashville recording artist guy. He talked about his mother being an immigrant from Nigeria. He did not, unfortunately, delineate the ideas between illegal immigration and immigrant, which we all recognized. Hey, this is a thing that the left does. And it unfortunately looks like this guy fell victim to that. He also did so while wearing a $91,000 watch. So that's just. Is what it is. Speaking of other people who trashed reality from the stage, one, Billie Eilish, whose brother Phineas stood beside her as she just eviscerated the Immigration Customs Enforcement by saying that something that everybody. That something so edgy that everybody in that room agreed with. This is cut six.
Emily Austin
No one is illegal on stolen land. Yeah, it's just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now. And I just. I feel really hopeful in this room. And I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our. Our voices really do matter and the people matter. And I say, sorry.
Joe Bob
Whoa, how edgy. How cool. She said f ice on tv. What an edgy, original thing to say that everybody there agreed with. Not exactly everybody, but we'll get to that in just a quick second. Interestingly enough, and again, to my great delight, because we have a participatory role, the entire Internet then went and said, okay, well, she said, no, nobody's illegal on stolen land. Which then applies. She believes that the United States of America is stolen land. And therefore anything that she owns in terms of property or real estate, you know, must be stolen. And therefore she probably should give that back. Billie Eilish, who Forbes reports, has an estimated net worth of 53 million dollars, according to the New York Post, purchased a 2.3 million dollar horse ranch in Glendale when she was just 17 years old. Her brother, who was on stage next to her, Phineas, I'll say that thought for just a little bit, just sold his $5 million house in Malibu in 2022. Bottom line is these people have crazy mansions. Billie Eilish has another. I forget the tribe, but somebody on the Internet pointed out, well, you know, this land that your house sits on at one point in time belonged to this Native American tribe. Are you gonna give that back, Billy? And that. That is a question that we should all be asking. If this is stolen land and you own property here, then you're complicit in the theft of the land from the indigenous tribes. Unless, of course, you don't believe that. Right? Unless, of course, you don't actually think that and you're just kind of saying the edgy, cool thing that is gonna shock everyone, even though all of them agree with the entirety of it. But I thought it was best summed up by this video from our friend Emily Austin. This is just kind of her reaction. And I'll get to why this is important after this. This is cut seven.
Emily Austin
Our, Our voices really do matter.
Joe Bob
People matter. And.
Emily Austin
Thank you so much.
Joe Bob
I'm so, I'm so edg. She basically had my exact reaction, but in real time at the Grammys. Now, why I think this is significant is because like I mentioned, we one of the Nielsen ratings yet, but last year the Grammys had about 15 million people. The year before that they had about 16 million people, which was actually up from the year prior to that. I believe 2023 had about 12 million people. So it's kind of fluctuating. Bottom line, not a ton of people watching the Grammys. And that video clip that I just showed you at this point in time has 27 million views. In other words, almost double the amount of people that probably watched the Grammys live this year saw that video and had the same exact. Give me a break reaction again, like I said, I think again, you might, you may not agree tptom if you don't. I think the wokeness on display is a fantastic talking point for the conservatives. Sunlight is the best infectant. Their ideas haven't gotten any better, but the people promoting those ideas have in fact gotten dumber. And that is good for us. Speaking of dumber, Don Lemon, of all people, were one of the pre Grammy parties in which he received a standing ovation for fighting for, you know, invading churches and leading insurrections and because for some reason that's what the libs stand for. Like I mentioned last week, I am so pro Don Lemon being the face of liberals, I, I, I can give these people a microphone and let them talk because I have to believe the American people are smart enough to recognize idiocy when they see it. And so when I see Don Lemon getting the standing ovation like we're about to show you, you know, you might roll your eyes and, and you know, rightfully so. But I think it's a fantastic thing. Put that guy in front of the camera and let him talk. He is one of the best arguments for conservatism that we honestly have. This is a cut eight, I believe. There he is just taking it in. I'm so awe inspired. Look at me and how great I am. Everybody's cheering and applauding me. Now, you may be thinking, that's. That's ridiculous. And you also may think what I thought last week is getting arrested was the best day of his life. Now, the, The. The best thing about this is that's not only something that me and you have in our head, it's also in the head of the President of the United States. President Trump, aboard Air Force One, was asked about Don Lemon and literally had the same reaction as all of us together. This is. This is why he's a man of the people. He thinks like us. He believes what we believe, and he fights for. Fights for reality here in this country. This is cut nine. President Trump's reaction to Don Lemon getting arrested and the entire live media praising him. Cut nine.
Donald Trump
I don't know anything about the Don Lemon thing, but he's a sneezebag, everyone. Probably from his standpoint, the best thing that that could happen to him, he's getting, you know, he had no viewers. He had. He was a failure. He was a failed host, and now he's. He's in the news. I didn't know anything about him.
Joe Bob
Now, again, the president makes a fantastic point. Hey, by the way, this guy was nobody, and now he's a thing. And the reason he was nobody is because he's an idiot. He was bad at what he did. And so CNN was like, hey, nobody watches your show. And then he was out trying to do, like, man on the street stuff, and still nobody was watching it. And then the best thing that's ever happened to him happened to him on Thursday night. He got arrested and promoted to the top of the lib totem pole. To which I say, fantastic, Give Don Lemon a microphone and let him make the case for conservative ideas by way of making very, very bad arguments from an idiot's perspective. I think this is fantastic. But ultimately, this culminated in one bad bunny. Mr. Bunny received several awards, I believe. Several awards, including Album of the Year. It's the first time, like, a non English album won at the Grammys. Now, everybody knows this is, like, kind of set up. This is how, like, oh, the guy playing the super bowl that conservatives are mad about, which TPUSA is doing their own halftime show, so you can check that out. We'll have more announcements about that a little bit later on in the show. Everybody's mad about Bad Bunny trashing America and continues to do so in his acceptance speech. But again, I think ultimately, if you look at this, in the context of the entire discussion, I think this is a good thing. This is Bad Bunny. This is the first mistake Bad Bunny made. We have two clips from him. First one is cut 10.
Bad Bunny
I'm gonna say eyes out. We're not savage, we're not animals. We're not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans.
Joe Bob
That there was a 30 second supply. He said, Isa out. And then they plotted for 30 seconds. Thankfully, I cut it down for you. But then he said the best thing again, I. Again, if you're trying to get conservatives to engage by way of stupidity, this guy's teaching a master class. We are not savages. We are Americans. No, Mr. Bunny, that's. That's kind of the whole point. Not everybody is an American. That, that we're making that point right now. If you actually think that and a bunch of your lib friends think that, we're going to win the argument 100% of the time. We are Americans. No, like, not, not everything is everything else. This fork, I don't have a fork. This pen is not a Ferrari. Things have definitions. And the people who are here illegally are by definition not Americans. And if that's what people think, I have to believe the American people are smart enough to one roll their eyes and to go, oh, these people are dumb and their ideas are very, very dumb. Now to further pile on to Mr. Bunny. He went on to give more of his speech after he made that ridiculous assertion that, that everybody here is an American, which again, by definition is factually inaccurate. And that's kind of the point of ice. It's kind of the point of immigration laws in general. Not everybody's American and people that aren't Americans who are here illegally need to go bye bye, or adios, I guess, if you want to. If Mr. Bunny is listening today, adios is what I'm trying to say. But then he goes on to make the case even further. By the broader case of American culture, American values, American language, which is English, he makes it inadvertently by finishing out the rest of his speech. This clip is rather long, but I do honestly think that most freedom loving Americans who appreciate the culture and society of Western civilization, the basis on which this country is founded, will watch this and go, oh, yeah, I don't like losing our culture. This is cut 11.
Bad Bunny
I want to say to the people, I know it's. It's tough to know not to hate on these days. And I was thinking sometime we get con contaminados. I don't know how to say that in English, The hate that get more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. We need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. If, yeah, we don't hate them. We love our people, we love our family and that's the way to do it with love. Don't forget that, please. Thank you.
Joe Bob
That was like this week's bananas and rice version. If you're not familiar with that clip, go look it up. Some Somali person is trying to talk about the. Well, this is. Being a Somali American is. It's like. It's not like bananas and rice, but. But it kind of is like. It's like bananas and rice, if.
Public Disclosures
You know.
Joe Bob
You know what I mean? If, like the broken English version of like. What did you just say? I. Maybe Mr. Bunny is auditioning to be one of Kamala Harris speechwriters. I don't know. I'm just, I'm just speculating here. It could be the case. Bottom line is I think the wokeness on the left and the, the mass of wokeness that was at the Grammys last night is a fantastic benefits to conservatives like myself who are trying to make the argument. No, no, those people and their ideas are dumb. This is not Nancy Pelosi, who I disagree with fervently, but I do think is smart making a cohesive but convoluted argument that middle of America would go. Middle, politically speaking would go. I don't know, Maybe. Maybe she's right. I think the overwhelming majority of this center right country looks at the Grammys and goes, oh, these, these people are very, very dumb. We should not go their direction. We should not have them be advocates for policy in any way, shape or form. A couple last things to mention here on the Grammys. A bunch of shots were taken at Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj obviously was on stage with Erica Kirk at America Fest. She was on stage recently with President Trump. And during those shots taken at Nicki Minaj, nobody at any point mentioned anything she said or anything she believed just by being in a photo with President Trump. Being on stage with President Trump means orange man bad. She bad too. I don't have argument. She just bad orange man bad, bad, bad. That is how the left thinks in this country. They didn't argue any stances that Nicki Minaj has is. They didn't talk about. Well, she's kind of siding with President Trump because she believes in Christian morality and so does he and how that's perpetrated on the rest of the country. None of that. It was just she with Orange man bad. She bad too. Me not like Nicki Minaj. Last thing I think is actually pretty important and relatively serious. Several people were talking about ICE and how bad it is and the protesters. And they stand with the protesters that are protesting the people enforcing the law that the libs agreed upon. Like 30 years ago. 1996 was the last substantial immigration reform that libs and conservatives agreed upon. All ICE is doing is enforcing the law. We've been talking about this for months now. They're really standing with the protesters. Interestingly enough, not a single person. Zero mentions of the protests that are actually important and actually influential going on in Iran. 30,000 people killed in protests against the Islamic regime there in Iran got zero mentions from the Grammys. Now they're busy standing up for the people fighting immigration enforcement in the streets. Guys does protests. That's whose side they're on. Not the actual people who are putting their lives on the line by protesting Islamic dictatorship. So just, just some food for thought. Where are your priorities really? Do you really stand for free people or are you just. I support the current thing, politically speaking. I stand on my initial opinion. This is fantastic for conservative politics, having these people give bad buddy a microphone and let him discuss immigration policy. Next presidential race, we will win 48 states. I honest to God believe that my whole heart. We have got a lot to get to today. Here we've got it. California, interestingly enough, is suing a hospital who is not performing gender affirming care on minors. And that's, I guess the position that they've taken. Instacart is putting fees. You may not know what Instacart is. Bottom line, New York has raised the minimum wage and the ways that companies are combating that are actually really interesting. Punxsutani Phil has said ICE in perpetuity. I think that's what he does, right? He talks about ICE just getting in perpetuity until all the illegals are out. But what actual practical effects as we talk about Punxsutawney Phil kind of reliving the day over and over again are conservatives making electorally speaking? We're also talking about Melania's movie did fantastic at the box office relative to other documentaries in recent past. Lots. Get to TPTP USA.com if you agree with my assessment. Should we be giving these crazy libs, these dumb libs who are bad at making the case for their policy ideas, the microphone more often? I think we should. Tptpca.com if you happen to disagree or if you agree, we'll be right back after the break. Don't go away.

That is the ICE facility or the immigration facility in Portland that we've all seen a number of times last night getting berated by a bunch of crazy wackadoo libs. What I think needs to happen, and this is the logistics of this is the thing that's complicating. You need to round up all of those people and press charges. I recognize that that would be a a pretty steep hill to climb from. Like a just getting all of the officers in place to like do that. But the the where they're at if you can see is like kind of like a U shape. There's like a gate and then there's a little, not a hallway but like a little corralling area. They could just like pull up behind him, get them all in there, arrest all of them, charge them with you know, whatever it is that they should be charged with. Go over all the footage and well, honestly, I think Congress then needs to fund more enforcement mechanisms at the legal level. So I don't know. Bottom line is you need to arrest these people for committing crimes and if you don't, you're going to get more of this sort of stuff. And that's ncba. Massive problem. Speaking of a massive problem, this in from the California Post. I'm really digging the California Post. It's, it's the sister paper, brother paper. I don't know. Do our newspapers feminine or masculine? I don't have any idea really. Digging the California Post and they're reporting that they're doing new from them. The state of California, by way of Attorney General Rob Bonta and is now suing a private hospital, hospital in the San Diego area because it chose to stop performing gender affirming care to children. The state of California with the attorney general at the helm says you can't not do this thing. In other words, the government is trying to compel somebody to do a certain thing. Now obviously we've been around all of these rules regarding speech. You cannot compel somebody to say something. But can you compel by way of a lawsuit the state of California suing this private hospital? No. No, you have to do this thing that is no good to anybody. Gotta be careful about the terminology that we use. Cause there are on YouTube at this point and they're, they're little sticklers about this. So we're just, we're just saying what is exactly true. Uh, Rob Bonta, the Attorney General of California, declared last week that he wants to ensure Californians can access mutilation, sorry, gender affirming care, without facing unfair roadblocks. Notably, California, according to the California Post, is a sanctuary state for children from outside states seeking gender affirming care. So in other words, a parent can kidnap their kid if they have deluded their kid into thinking that they are the opposite sex and bring them to California. And California will do nothing by way of trying to get that kid back to the other parent, if that is happens to be the case. That's why it would be a quote unquote, sanctuary state. This is also just in the face of. Last week a D transitioner won a $2 million settlement from a hospital when it's 16, was given a double mastectomy because she's like, I'm a boy and won a major lawsuit. Jury awarded, judge awarded her, I think $2 million against the doctors who carried out the Surgery. Here's the thing that I think is interesting that I think we got to pay pay attention to. What the attorney general in California is doing is it's forcing the hospital into a relatively impossible situation. On the one hand, you have the federal government and all of their restrictions saying, hey, maybe you shouldn't perform surgery on minors. That. That seems like a thing that you. You shouldn't do. According to anybody with any sort of sense. Federal government is obviously enforcing that. Now the state is saying, well, no, you have to. Putting the hospital at odds entirely. Banta, according to the California Post, wants to force the hospital to fight the federal government on its behalf for an unscientific, unethical, and unpopular California policy. We'll keep an eye on this as it goes forward, but my hope is that the hospital, and hopefully with the help of the feds, tells the state of California, hey, pound sand, this is ridiculous. Nobody wants it. And your grandstanding doesn't actually help anyone. In reality, it hurts anybody who is affected by this. Speaking of people being hurt, gotta mention this. The federal government is currently in a partial shutdown. I know. I, I walking into the studio, I had to step over bodies lying in the street. Streets, you know, when the federal government shuts down, it's just. It's just chaos everywhere. Chaos in the streets. It's a bit as if it weren't already chaos. I live in California. It's kind of chaos already. But like I said, the federal government is currently in a partial shutdown caused by the Libs because they don't want to fund the Department of Homeland Security. Interestingly enough, though, especially at a time like this. And I, I hate to use that language, but it kind of is fitting here at a time where half the country is iced out. I don't know where you're watching, but in case you haven't heard, there was a massive storm that blew through, like the entire country. And a bunch of the country has huge structural problems. I was talking to people in Nashville saying, like, they. They still don't have power because the ice froze all of the wiring. And it's chaos. And I'm sure you're aware of that, but inside of the Department of Homeland Security that lives have refused to fund, causing the devastating, atrocious partial government shutdown is ice, is cbp, but it's also the Transportation Transportation Administration and the Federal Emergencies Management Agency, also known as fema. So in a time where Americans face very dangerous situations because of the storm that blew through the country, the libs have decided, yeah, we're not going to fund fema. All of the, the, the FEMA funding is, instead of funding FEMA for what could be disastrous situations around the country, we're going to stand up against the enforcement of our own laws by not funding DHS and causing a partial government shutdown. The House is set to vote. The Senate did come to an agreement last Friday, honestly, at the behest of Trump getting involved in the negotiations. But the House is set to convene, I think tomorrow on this. And if I'm wrong, you know, maybe it's the next day, but bottom line is the government is shut down and how will we all survive? Last thing I want to get into here, I think is fascinating before we going to lighter. Actually, no, it's not lighter fare. Coming up next segment, really, really interesting stats on what happens when conservatives stay home. Honestly, stuff like this happens, even though we're not necessarily talking about it this segment. But in New York, the city council jumped minimum wage for like app delivery drivers from, well, they're contractors, so there's not really an employee minimum wage. But they said not, you gotta, you gotta pay $21.44 per hour to places like UberEats, Instacart, any of these delivery apps. Now, what's really interesting is to see how the companies that are affected by these policies react to this sort of thing. I mean, generally, as we've seen in California, when they hiked up the minimum wage for fast food workers to $20 per hour, yeah, some people made $20 an hour, but a ton more of them got laid off. And my guess is that if you're working, you'd rather have a job that, you know, may not be the wage that you'd like, but, you know, that kind of applies to pretty much everybody. I don't make the wage that I like. I think I should be making $30 million a year. I'm just, just saying maybe the California government can institute a minimum wage policy for snarky and sarcastic talk show hosts that boosts my pay up to $30 million a year. Nobody is happy with the wage. Well, you can be content, of course. I would like more. You would like more. Everybody would like more. But some people in California got a little bit more and a lot of people got fired. Bottom line is these policies never actually have the intended effect. They really just lead to the unemployment line, which is what is happening in New York City. But what's interesting is how the companies react to this sort of thing. Instacart has been making some Headlines. This is graphic one Instacart is doing this thing that I think is is actually pretty interesting and does have an effect in the political nature of these sorts of policies. At the bottom you see a regulatory response fee of $5.91. In other words, they are charging customers because of the cost that was inflicted by the New York City. They're now passing that on to consumers. Like I said, every single time that the government intervenes in the free market, that stuff gets passed on to the consumers. You've effectively taxed the very people that you're trying to support with your ridiculous minimum wage hikes or any other policy that the government uses to get involved in the free market. So it actually really is interesting. I'm curious to see how New Yorkers respond to this. If you happen to live in New York City, chances are you're probably not watching this show because you probably have a political bent that doesn't necessarily align with you. But if you do happen to live in New York City or anywhere where they've increased the minimum wage by government mandates, how do you think that generally affects one the jobs of the people, but also the consumer that that price event inevitably gets passed along to? Let us know. TPTP USA.com uh, Groundhog Day is upon us. And like I've mentioned a number of times before, Punxsutawney Phil has said there will be ice in perpetuity. I think that's what he's. I think that's what he's talking about. The ice in perpetuity until all the illegals are gone. Punxsutawney Phil has decreed that that is to be the case as well as some of the other electoral consequences of conservatives staying home in elections that after the break. Tptbusa.com we'll be right back after this. Foreign.

It's punny phil. It is my job this February 2nd to look to the skies and report back to you that there is a shadow here on my ground. 64 weeks of winter abound. You know, I I used to. I used to make fun of the whole Groundhog Day thing. Like, this is stupid. This groundhog Punxsutawney Phil does not know what the weather is going to be, and stating it as fact is ridiculous. And I know everybody thinks it's kind of like a fun, jovial thing, and it is. I used to be like, this, this is dumb. And then I started realizing, well, Punctutani Phil is about as right as CNN is in reporting what will happen. His analysis Punxsutawney Phil's analysis of the weather is akin to a bunch of Lib outlets and their analysis of what's going on in the world. So I actually, I actually trust Punxsutani Phil a little bit more than several Lib outlets. So I used to think it was hokey and lame, but it apparently no, it's not. It actually is. You know, Punxsutaw is rock solid in his decisions. What did he say? There's going to be more winter, more ice in perpetuity until all the illegals are gone. I agree with that. So happy Groundhog's Day. Punxsutawney Phil did in fact see his shadow this morning. And what this is reminiscent of, this is going to be a way to tie this all together, is the movie Groundhog Day. If you haven't seen the movie, the Bill Murray movie I think is 1993. It came out. There can be college classes around this. It actually is a very philosophical work of art. I'm sure you've seen the movie, but the brief synopsis is he has to keep reliving the day over and over and over again and he tries all the things that he thinks are going to make him happy, but it never actually does. It just kind of drags on to this malaise existence until he realizes, hey, if I'm just a better person, like life is better, things are better. And that's how he breaks the cycle. So I'm sure you're understanding that the problem is, even though that movie hints at a very, very deep philosophical truth, a lot of times we kind of all do the same thing. You realize, hey, this isn't working out. We need to adapt, we need to change. And unfortunately, conservatives sometimes are victims to not being able to adjust accordingly, as evidenced by special elections around the country. Breitbart is thankfully reporting on this, and I think this needs to be talked about substantially more Libs are now winning in a lot of these special elections in seats that they should otherwise not win in in any way, shape or form. 8 Recently, a Texas Senate seat in a very, very safe red district of Fort Worth was won in a special election by a lib. Why? Because conservatives didn't show up to vote. I was at an event in Seattle over the weekend and one of the biggest things that unfortunately is a problem in the state of Washington and in a bunch of blue states is that a lot of conservatives think like, ah, well, what are we going to do? Unfortunately too, that's kind of bleeding out into the more conservative states, like, hey, we got this lockdown, we're going to be fine and people just don't show up to vote. And that is becoming a major problem in elections when it comes to reliably safe seats for conservatives. A couple examples of this in Iowa State Senate District 35 special election last January, the conservative lost to the liberal by 3.3.6 points. When Trump won that very area by 21 points in 2024, voter turnout was 1 in 5 of registered voters. Pennsylvania State Senate district the conservative lost to the liberal by 0.9 points. District that Trump won by 15 points, voter turnout was only 30%. Same thing. Another Iowa state Senate seat August of this last year special election, the conservative lost to the liberal by about 10 points in a district that Trump won by 10 points. Mississippi another conservative lost to a liberal by 5 points in a area that Trump won by 18 points. Voter turnout in that election was 15%. We can go on and on and on. Here in a Georgia House race, the conservative lost to the liberal by 1.7 points in a district where Trump won by 12 points in 2024. 4 voter turnout 1/4. Bottom line is it's great that we're, it's great that we won. It's great that we're in power, but power goes away. And unfortunately, power goes away due to apathy in a lot of cases. Just because we're in power now doesn't mean we will be in power forever. We have to keep showing up in your special election races, wherever it is that you are. One, you got to be aware of it and some fault and blame can be laid to on, you know, the bigger conservatives that kind of handle this sort of stuff. It's their job to get the message out. But two, it takes showing up. Yes, we won. 2024 was fantastic. We want it all, honestly. We've got the Supreme Court, got the House, slim majority, but got the House, have the Senate, have the presidency. We got it all. But that doesn't mean the work stops. You can't fall into this malaise. Bill Murray, Groundhog Day, just kind of going through the motions. You have to be an active participant in what is going on and show up to vote or else you got libs winning in seats that they have no business winning in. And also, Trump's not going to be on the ballot the midterms for any of these other special elections. The enthusiasm has to be there. I know that I might be preaching to the choir of the you folks that watch this show. You probably very, very high propensity voters, but it takes getting out to your friends in your area and making sure they are voting and voting the correct way in order to not be beset by outcomes that are not advantageous to the conservative ideal, the American ideal in this country. Uh, so make sure you're not letting that happen in whatever neck of the woods you live in. I want to talk about Melania movie. The Melania movie opened this weekend to honestly fantastic numbers relative to other documentaries in the same space over the last decade. We'll talk about that. Also, the announcement has been made. The turning point halftime show performers are and I'm honestly excited for the performers. I, I, I wasn't ever worried, but I didn't know and I, there was a bunch of you who emailed us tptbc.com saying who were the performers? And I was like, I honestly don't know. We do now know and it's gonna be fantastic. We'll be right back after the break. Don't go away.

So that is a video of a bunch of children being taught how to protest. I'll be completely honest with you. I don't know that the chant Choose Violence is accurate, but that is what accompanied this video. So I just decided to leave it on. But the bottom line is the evidence is overwhelming. There are teachers in government schools, schools that we pay for teaching kids how to protest. There's a longer discussion about this that we don't have time for right now, but that's like kind of a rite of passage in higher education nowadays. Like, oh, you protest. This is what you do. Here's how you protest. Here's how you make a difference. You don't actually make a difference, but you do create little revolutionaries. And I think that's what's happening on a Lower level. If a school is promoting protesting, especially if they're saying for kids to choose violence, choose chant that out loud, they should not receive another penny of taxpayer dollars. And that is not a controversial statement. Controversial statement is the government school should not receive a penny in taxpayer dollars to begin with. But we're not going to say that right now. We're not just right now this video and stuff like this is absurd. You know, it's not absurd. Well, actually, no, let me, let me rephrase that. That, that was going to be the fun tie in. But we'd actually, what is absurd is how little Melania Trump has been on the covers of really any prominent publication. I, I'll be honest with you, I'm not like the biggest fan of like making out the first family, family to be like kind of like a monarchy. That's kind of like where we're at in American society. A lot of people think, I mean, I love Donald Trump, don't get me wrong. But he's not a king and that's not what we have in this country. So it's kind of weird when we kind of like have this sort of relationship with those in power. And at the same time, if you're, if you're treated as unfairly as Melania Trump has been treated by the mainstream press, yeah, go ahead and make a movie about yourself. Fine, I'm all about it. Melania Trump actually had a pretty great weekend at the box office. New York Times even reporting Melania arrives with strong box office showing even for a documentary. Now all of this is in the face of her not getting any despite being living a very, very interesting lifestyle life. That's just very. Regardless of what you think about the Trumps politically, Melania Trump has an unbelievably fascinating story and life more broadly. But even then she's also supermodel. Like, who do you want to put on the COVID of magazines like Supermodel. Supermodel with a fantastically interesting life. Dr. Jill. Jill Biden sees a podway. Joe Biden appeared on the COVID of Vogue twice during her time as first lady in 2021 and 2024, obviously profiles in both of those. She appeared in Vanity Fair, I believe a couple times, was a bunch of lib leaning outlets. The New York Times, Washington posted a bunch of featurettes on her. Michelle Obama in her time appeared on the COVID of Vogue three different times. She was also on the COVID of Time. She was a part of the most influential people's issues. She was on the COVID of Vanity Fair. A bunch of different lib leaning outlets. Essence, oh, the Oprah Magazine. All of these lib wives of presidents get Melania. None. So the Trumps decide, yeah, let's do a documentary, people. People were up in arms about it. They were very upset. Well, how could you be, you know, creating because you guys don't pay any attention to her. So hey, President Trump, as a master of the media says, and we're going to do it ourselves. And according to everybody, fantastic documentary which, you know, this is actually the best statistic here. Rotten Tomatoes. The critics score on Rotten Tomatoes. Actually, let me get to this. The audience score first, 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. Of the people who confirmed saw the movie, about 100% of the people liked it. The critics TBT. What do you think? TPT tbsa.com they loved it. They hated. Very, very short period of time to send that email before I give you the answer. 9% which is I think what you want. I think if you, if an audience loves your movie and the woke lib critics on Rotten Tomatoes hate it, you're sitting pretty good. That's, that's a pretty good position to be in. Bottom line, the Melania documentary did fantastic over the weekend, especially relative to other documentaries. It came in third place in the box office overall on the weekend. So that is great. And yeah, really liked it. Let us know tptpc.com what did you think of the movie if you went and saw it? Coming up, we got our mailbag as well as big announcements that we'll leave it at. Big announcements for the halftime show the this Sunday. We'll be right back after the break. Don't go away. Oh my God. So, okay, so that's a video of a bunch of libs looks like in Minnesota barricading cars from passing with wooden pallets. Okay. I mean one, you don't have the authority to do that. But let's get to the, let's get to the base point here. Apparently they agree walls work. I'm happy to note that the libs evidenced by this believe that walls are effective. I'm glad we agree. Build that wall, baby. Let's get to some of your emails. Actually before that big announcement, massive announcement. Let's pull up graphic to the TPUSA halftime show. If you, if you like me don't want to watch that broken English speaking before foon prance around the Super bowl stage one. Mr. Bunny, good news. There is an alternative and the names of the performers of the halftime show, the all American halftime show have been released. I'VE been, we've got several emails asking me if I knew. And I genuinely plausible deniability is a strong suit of mine. So I didn't want to like be under the gun here and like, I don't, I can't tell you because I have a loud mouth. But the halftime pronounce halftime show has been announced. Kid Rock, Brantley, Gilbert Lee Bryce, Gabby Barrett and it's going to be streamed pretty much everywhere here on real America's voice. All of these social media platforms that TP USA has also Daily Wire plus TBN Charge, National News Desk, YouTube, X Rumble, all it's going to be everywhere. And if you'd like to not, not watch songs in a language that you probably don't understand, go ahead and feel free to check, check, check out the English performance. Like you can talk about, you can talk about, you know, politics and you know, all that, but really there's a Spanish option or an English option. So, you know, choose wisely, America. In the 45 seconds we have left here, let's see. Couldn't get to this. Richard with a comment on conservatives. That kind of ties in with what we said at the segment three. I can't use this word, but I agree with you, Richard. He says conservatives are cowardly. Let's go. Let's go ahead. I'm not going to use your other the terminology that sometimes people use to describe cats. Let's see. Evelyn says love your show. Really appreciate it. Evelyn Napalm frequent correspondent says he's I don't know what's more embarrassing. The entire libs IQ being under a hundred, which is honestly generous, I'd say below 75. Or the fact that we've been allowing them to run the country for the past 37 years, aka his entire life. The second one is more embarrassing. The fact that we've let it happen is the most embarrassing. That's all we're gonna have time for. Hey, really appreciate you sticking around. Tuning in. TPT tbsa.com is the email. As always, looking forward to the halftime show on Sunday. Make sure you check it out. We will see you here same time, same place tomorrow. So God bless America. This is an iHeart podcast.

This episode provides a fast-paced, opinionated recap of the Grammys through a conservative lens, using the cultural moment to reinforce Joe Bob’s argument that “woke” spectacles actually drive mainstream Americans toward right-wing positions. Alongside this, viewers get right-leaning commentary on gender politics, government regulation, and conservative apathy in elections, capped off by media criticism and a Super Bowl halftime counter-programming pitch. This is sharply skewed analysis meant to mobilize and cheerlead the conservative base.
