The murder rate last year was lower than it's ever been since the year 1900, and no one anywhere of any political persuasion can possibly figure out why. Also, the anniversary of us leaving the World Health Organization and libs are still big mad about it. Also, we'll tie up some stories that we've got to in the past and have kind of had a different change in their trajectory. And we'll bring those to you to kind of wrap things up in a nice little bow. TikTok looks like it's reached an agreement to sell to a US Company and a bunch more here on the show. Thanks so much for tuning in. My name is Joe Bob. Show starts right now. The other day I stubbed my toe walking into the house and later on that evening my foot just started to hurt for some reason and I couldn't think of myself how, how could this possibly happen? How could my foot be hurting? And it didn't dawn on me that, oh, maybe it's because I stubbed my toe earlier, which is a probably poor but also accurate analogy as to the murder rate being the lowest it's ever been. Libs are befuddled. Everyone is entirely confused except for those of us who understand that law and order is a real thing. And, and you know, having a law and order system generally yields benefits in many ways. TPT is the email address. If you'd like to send along your thoughts, comments, concerns, even criticisms. If you'd like to get mentioned, your email read in the final segment of the show, the mailbag segment of the show, you can send an email that is disgusting, bigoted, vile, hateful, and downright just terrible and awful. It would actually fit in with everything that we are doing here on, on the show today. So to get into some of the numbers here, there was a big report that came out that tracked 35 of the largest US cities in the country, which I know is redundant because I just said US Cities, so it implies they're in the country, but I don't know. It's Friday and I'm tired. The murder rate, and I'm sure you've heard this already, fell by 21% in the 35 largest US cities. The biggest one year drop likely ever and likely the lowest rate since 1900. Now, the only reason I say likely is because a lot of your media outlets are saying, well, we don't actually know if this is the lowest rate that it's ever been, but as far as we can tell, the 1900s is the last time the murder rate in the United States of America has been this low. Um, there's a bunch of media outlets saying that, well, this is the lowest rate it's been since the COVID era crime wave. Which is accurate. Eleven out of the 13 tracked crimes were lower in 2025 than they were in 2024, according to data compiled by the Council for Criminal Justice. Now, I do want to bring up a graphic, by the way, of several. You know, we like dunking, dunking on our lib friends here as much as we possibly can, including the. The New York Times. The New York Times had a headline in. In which they discussed the, The. The. The rampant lawlessness in America with this headline. This is graphic one. You know, again, despite all of these statistics and the numbers, the New York Times recently put out this article entitled A Year Inside Cash Patel's FBI 45 current and former employees of the agency. They don't say, I'm just giving you context on changes they say are undermining the agency and making America less safe. Now, that headline obviously flies in this. In the face of all of the statistics around whether or not the United States is in fact safe, stats would show us that, well, it's substantially safer. Nine of the offenses that were tracked in the 3,013 different tracked crimes declined by more than 10% or 10% or more aggregate assaults, aggravated assaults fell by 9%. Gun assaults and robbery tumbled 22% and 23%, respectively. The bottom line is not only the murder rate is down to the lowest level, really, in 126 years, but also just crime overall. And the thing is, like I mentioned earlier in the show, we have no idea why. It's just. It's just inconceivable why this possibly could happen. The only thing the libs can deduce it down to, it's just pure luck. Like, it's just. Just fantastical luck that this has happened. Uh, now, if you're a sane person that looks at, you know, the trajectory of the political system, especially federally in the United States of America, you probably say, well, we've got a president that prioritizes law and order. We've got a system of governance now that says, hey, don't do the crime if you can't do the time, and is locking people up, deporting criminal illegals and all that sort of stuff. But other than that, other than that, that very inconvenient statistic for the libs, nobody has any idea why this is happening. Even Axios, who. They're. They're lefties. But they, they, they sometimes get things down the middle just like. Yeah, there's so many different variables. Yeah, okay, fine. But also, let's not ignore the fact that we do have a law and order president in the White House who is directing the federal agencies to do this crazy thing that we haven't done in the United States in far too long called enforce the law. Now, one interesting statistic in this report is that libs are saying, well, not everything went down. There was one statistic that actually went up. Drug crimes increased by 7% year over year. It's the loan category in the crimes that were, that were cataloged to increase. The obvious caveat is, yeah, Trump is cracking down on drug crimes. And of all of these crimes, the drug crimes are the ones that law enforcement in so many ways just kind of turned a blind eye to. Eh, that, that's not happening. So yeah, if you do crack down on drug trafficking into the United States, trying to keep the American people safe from opioids and other narcotics that can kill them, yeah, there's going to be an increase in drug crime because of the crackdown. In other words, this is also a statistic that benefits the Trump administration and the White House taking a more serious approach to stopping crime. Now, all of that being said, I want to bring your attention to this story. Yes, we are on the right track. It looks like we are on the right trajectory just kind of as a nation more broadly as a whole. Obviously, you know, what's going on in Minnesota doesn't appear to be indicative of the, the general trajectory of the country. But also, we also should probably use this time to highlight the fact that libs unfortunately are getting more and more violent, not only physically, but also clearly in their rhetoric. Uh, this comes unfortunately not as a surprise, but a story out of Chicago. A Chicago jury acquitted. They say the New York Times says an immigrant, um, allegedly an illegal immigrant. But everything is kind of fuzzy and murky on this particular guy. So I'm not entirely honestly sure. Um, but they acquitted a guy who was accused of trying to hire someone to murder. Uh, Greg, Greg Bevino, who's heading up the tactical border patrol forces throughout the country, was in Chicago, now is in Minnesota doing a bunch of stuff on the ground and leading that tactical effort. And by the way too, just enforcing the law. Comprehensive immigration reform hasn't been done since 1996 with all the people kind of talking about, oh, they're detaining a five year old kid, which is not at all even true. Again, I keep Resorting back to what Tom Homan has said consistently is like, hey, you know, you can't hate the people enforcing the law. Why don't you hate the people that wrote the laws? And the last time immigration has been overhauled with was during the Clinton administration. So just take that for what it is. Uh, but anyways, a jury acquitted this guy and I wanna give you some of the details of the case and let you think, well, is this a, an appropriate and just acquittal or is this political posturing in the form of acquitting a guy who clearly has some violent thoughts going on in his mind? The case hinged on private Snapchat messages where Juan Espinoza Martinez sent to two people. The message included comments like 2k dollar figure, $2,000 on info when they catch him and 10k if you take him down, included a picture of Greg Bonvino Bavino and said lk on him, which is a reference to the Latin King's gang couple emojis also included on that. One of the recipients of this vile and disgusting private message was the guy's younger brother. Another was a friend who happened to be a law enforcement informant. So yeah, if you're gonna text threats to your friends, make sure they're not going to report you to the feds. Now obviously it's a good thing that this guy reported this alleged. Actually, I guess, I guess a, a, a jury acquitted him even though pretty sketchy here. So I guess we can't call him even alleged at this point. But a guy who sent some, in my opinion, objectively disgusting messages which appear to me be calling for violence for federal officials. Diana, don't send that to a person that coordinates with law enforcement. Good on that person. By the way, here is a picture. Now this is, this is from Snapchat. And if you're familiar at all with Snapchats, if you screenshot it, Snapchat sends a message to the person who sent you that message. So in order to avoid that, sometimes people I guess use their, I guess another phone to take a picture of the screen and therefore can have that be the screenshot. So anyways, here's a graphic of what was actually sent. This guy being acquitted. This is graphic 2, I believe 2k info, Spanish words, 10k. If you take him down, Latin Kings rock on on him. Uh, now here's what the defense said, which is ridiculous, is fence. Defense did not dispute that Mr. Espinosa Martinez sent the messages. They said, yes, he actually did sent the messages, but he forwarded the post. All it Was. Is just expressing outrage at the immigration operations in his neighborhood. That. That's all it was. It was just a silly little death threat. But really, he was just expressing the outrage that he felt inside his heart by saying, hey, here's a dollar figure that you may receive if somebody kills this guy. It's just. It's just. Just neighborhood gossip. That is literally what one of his attorneys said repeating, neighborhood gossip is not a federal crime. Sharing Facebook posts is not a federal crime. Those are what his. Those are the arguments that his defense attorney used to. To justify effectively him sending this disgusting and sick messages. Now, kind of ironic context here. Sharing Facebook posts is not a federal crime. Yes. Somebody tell Facebook. I'm just curious. Email us tptp USA.com Send a comment wherever it is that you're watching this. I don't know. Have you ever been taken down from Facebook or any of the other social media platforms for just sharing posts? I just. I just. Has that ever happened to anybody on the conservative side of the aisle? My guess is yes, tptpa.com if it happens to have happened to you at some point. But the closing arguments for this guy's attorneys said that he had no means, no ability, and no money. They were just words. Words he heard, words that he read. And he, again, was just sharing a Facebook post. Which, by the way, where's that Facebook post if that's actually the case? Um, now, again, I. I wasn't there. I didn't. I don't have the entirety of the transcript of what happened in court, but given the fact that this was a federal jury in Chicago, considering how many libs are in Chicago, I would almost guarantee you that. Yeah, it was very difficult to get a unanimous decision from a jury that was probably stacked with libs saying, hey, this guy did this objectively awful thing. But I think what they probably thought, and it's just. Just me thinking here. Yeah, but we agree with the guy's politics. So, you know, the death threats are fine. We'll just. We'll pretend that. Oh, yeah, it's just. He's just sharing something that he saw on the Internet. It's just neighborhood gossip. You know, your death threats to federal agents. So there's that. And by the way, I guess if I didn't know that that was a good defense, if I have no means of committing the crime that I say I'm going to commit, if I have no ability to do it and no money, then it's no longer a crime I can prove. Are you telling me I have to prove my incompetency. Believe. Ask my wife. She'll be able to. She'll be able to be my defense in really any of those cases that have. If me not being able to pull off the crime gets me off of doing the crime, then wow. I guess. I guess we're in a different era, legally speaking. You know, all of this culminates in kind of the overall lib understanding of this like immigration battle. I thought that this to put a little bit of a bow on it. One murder rates down. That's good. But unfortunately, libs are outside of their minds and say ridiculous things to their friends. Allegedly putting bounties on federal agents heads. But I think a lot of it stems from stuff like this. This is, I think, a pretty clear depiction of how libs think. I go on threads a lot. It's. It's the X for. Well, I guess blue sky is like the X for libs. This is like Facebook's version of X. If you're not on threads, probably good. It's like wildly left. It's like an incredibly lefty algorithm. So I go in there sometimes. I get the lefty algorithm sent to me and I came across this post which I thought was so indicative of how so many libs think. This is from a post from. I kid you not, Keandria demonet. I think I'm Keandria Demonet. I think I have to do like a. Like a head thing when I say that. I think I probably. I probably also have to do the snaps. I'm not sure. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to, but I think. I think it's probably a requirement. Keandria Damone said this. Graphic 3. Um, in regards to the passage of the bill that would effectively fund immigration enforcement. Uh, she said this. This is one of the libs, the Democrats that voted on this. Representative Maria Perez was one of the Democrats who voted yes to fund ice. Her father is an immigrant. No. No. You're. Are you serious, Kendra? Her father was an immigrant and therefore she can't vote to. To. To fund ice. Um, this is what she also posted in conjunction with this graphic. She posted a Wikipedia screenshot. She said her father immigrated from Mexico, while her mother's family has roots in Washington. Basically, libs think for some reason that anybody who came to this country legally should also be a proponent of people who came to the country illegally staying in perpetuity. Which is one, a ridiculous thing to think logically, but two, just totally factually ignores the reality that I guarantee you I wish there was polling on this. Maybe somebody can do some polling on this. I can guarantee you with full confidence. You know who is the harshest on cracking down on illegal immigration? Legal immigrants. As a guy whose dad immigrated to the country legally as a kid and had to go through the absurdly long and ridiculous process to become a naturalized citizen of this country. Those people are the most extreme of kicking out illegals who didn't have to go through that entire process. My dad, you, the, the, the white lib boomer boomers who think that, well, all immigrants are the same. You know who'd be the most mad at those people? My immigrant dad. He, he. I kid you not, whoever you think is the most extreme on illegal immigration, my dad was more extreme than that person because he understood, hey, nobody gets to jump the line. Nobody gets to skip the process. This was as difficult for everybody. And if you just come in and for some reason want amnesty like so many lives like Keandra Demone, maybe it, maybe it's. Maybe it's demon. Maybe that's how you pronounce it. Maybe this is like a divine premonition. Maybe it is. Maybe that's how you pronounce this. Maybe it's not Demone. Maybe it's demon. Sorry, tangent. Sides are, this is what all of these libs think. And ultimately, at the end of the day, it's just, it's just factually inaccurate. You know, who wants illegal immigrants kick out of the country more than anybody? Freaking legal immigrants, I'll tell you that firsthand. And also, you know, I mean, we can get into the discussion of whether or not we should even have immigration into the country. As of right now, I'm more inclined to think maybe you're on his course as of right now, but that's a different conversation for a different time. Bottom line here is, yes, murder rate has gone down. That is fantastic. We are in the right trip track as a country. And unfortunately, also the hyper woke small subset of libs that think that the law means nothing, think that the country means nothing, want to tear down the United States of America. Um, unfortunately those people are growing increasingly violent and increasingly delusional. And it's just something that we're gonna have to deal with. Tptpusa.com if you'd like any thoughts. Do you know any immigrants who are more extreme than. Than you? I get. I. Legal immigrants. There's. Sometimes you're talking to a legal immigrant and you hear their thoughts on what should be done to the illegals, and you're like, oh, look, I'm, I'm forgetting all the illegals out of the country, but that's a little far from me. Uh, let me know if you have any of those friends in your circle. TBT tbsa.com Also leave a comment wherever it is that you happen to be watching this. If that comment is disgusting, vile, bigoted and horrible in all ways, it'll fit in right here on this show in our mailbag segment, tptp USA.com where you can we'll be right back after the break to discuss the anniversary of the United States pulling out of the World Health Organization and the Lib backlash to such an outrageous decision by the thoroughly reasonable President of the United States. We'll be right back. Don't go away. So Sean o' Malley has found himself at the center of some controversy after wearing what people have deemed a Covid mask in his Face off with Chinese fighter Song Yadong. This face off has since gone viral with one side of people saying that the move was a cheap shot at Song and the other saying this type of trolling is what makes the UFC great and that it's just funny. But almost immediately after, when asked about the mask during the interview, he apologized to Song, saying it was just a joke. Here's the clip. The first Face off with Song did have a little bit of, bit of controversy to it with the COVID face mask. Curious if you would explain why you chose to wear that and maybe a bit regret of it or not. How are you feeling about it now? Yeah, my intentions were never, you know, harmful. Supposed to be a little silly joke, you know, it was that. It was that and you know, got taken out of. I apologize if I offended anybody. Boo. I, I like, I like that as a joke he's fighting a Chinese fighter and as a joke wore a Covid mask. Which actually perfectly pairs with what we're going to talk about. But also, yeah, don't apologize for those sorts of jokes. If anything, like so not to, not that you should follow my example, but I tend to double down in an even further more sarcastic way if people aren't entirely sure that they're a joke. Yesterday we talked about the five year old that was detained by ice, which by the way, Lib media is still posting about that like a day after it's been thoroughly debunked by everyone. The libs are still like, yeah, this is definitely happening. Which just goes to show you they're willing to lie. But anyways, yesterday, continuing to see that after it was debunked I put out an aggressive post where I said breaking. I heard from a friend that ICE detained 500 five year old American citizens, are deporting them all to Siberia. I believe everything about this tragic story and refuse to look into it any further because only a fellow fascists would question the narrative. Clearly a sarcastic joke and some people actually got mad about it. And instead of apologize, which I don't know, find it's your decision, if you want to apologize, apologize. But instead of apologize to people who didn't understand the joke, I doubled down, said update. Just found out that all of The American citizen 5 year olds are non binary. So it's actually worse now. And if you don't get it at that point, then, eh, to hell with you, I don't care. Anyways, I did the whole doubling down on jokes is how you get out of that. It's not by apologizing. Speaking of apologizing, you know who's not apologizing? It's President Trump. On this day one year ago, President Trump pulled out of the World Economic Forum. Now, just to give you some context here of the, the types of folks that we're dealing with, I mean, you already know, but this is just a little trip down memory lane. We all remember the Chinese bat fever, the Fauci fever, whatever you call it now, it's really interesting, especially you know, on the networks that we're, we're generally on. I, I don't necessarily butt heads with people, but I recognize, yeah, Covid was actually a thing, it was actually a disease. It wasn't nearly as deadly as everybody claimed it was as Dr. Fauci trying to punish the entire world, but also was a thing, people actually got sick from it. And in, interestingly enough, if you, if you remember all of it, there were several people late in 2019 that were saying, whoa, there's this like crazy fever going around and we should probably do something about it. Now the World Health Organization that then went on to crack down as hard as they possibly could and force other nation states to crack down as possible as hard as they possibly could. Interestingly enough, there were several conservative people in late 2019 saying, hey, there's, there's this fever going around. This is a clip that producer Glenn found from, I believe, Jan, I believe early in January of 2020 where there were people that we probably would agree with saying, hey, there's this crazy thing going around at the time, this is what the World Health Organization was saying about this thing that they would later go on to say, well, we need to shut down the entire world over. This is Dieter Holson. That's a fun one to say. The chair of the emergency committee at the who, basically denying Covid when we thought, hey, this is a. This is kind of a thing. And then when the roles flips like, okay, cool, we know it's a thing, but it's also clearly not as bad, then he would then go on and say, no, this is 100 as bad. Anyways, here's what they were saying early on. In 2020, the World Health Organization. Watch this.
Producer Glenn
Dr. Tedros has convened an emergency committee about the novel coronavirus epidemic in China. And the question was whether this event constitutes a public health emergency of international concern. The advice to the dg, which is provided by the emergency committee, is that now is not the time that it bit too early to consider that this event is a public health emergency of international concern.
Joe Bob
Okay, leave it up right here. Oh, no, never mind. He's not on the screen anymore. The guy next to him. And again, I know this is just a trip down memory lane for all of us, folks, is Dr. Tedros. The guy who's not a medical doctor from Ethiopia. Because, of course, we all know what's the best place to get top tier technologically advanced medical care is Ethiopia. Said no one ever. And then somehow he got picked to be the head of the World Health Organization. Now, if you're. If you don't remember quite as far back, there was a huge corruption case with that whole situation there. Ethiopia, interestingly enough, got a ton of money from China as a part of their Belt and Road initiative, trying to win allies across the world, trying to give them, I think, a couple hundred billion dollars or something like that. And, oh, look, all of a sudden, the. This doctor from Ethiopia 10 ascends to the top of the medical community being the. The chief dude, the director General of the World Health Organization. That's just. That's odd. Anyways, all of that ended up playing out. Turns out the people that were saying, hey, this is a thing in 2019 were like, okay, it is a thing, but also not nearly as bad of a thing. They, after we said it was a thing, said, no, it's not a thing. And then when they realized, holy crap, we can actually grab some power over this, they say, this is the worst thing in the world. I can't believe this is happening. All of that transpired. We all watched it unfold in real time. And thankfully, then, on his first day in office. Oops. Ooh. We're going out of focus here on his first day in office, President Trump, in his second term, signed an executive order officially withdrawing the United States from the World Health Organization. And libs est the b crapped the bed when this video came out. This is sod 7 withdrawing from.
Guest or Co-host
What is this one?
Producer Glenn
Withdrawing from the World Health Organization.
Guest or Co-host
Oh, that's a big one. So we paid $500 million to World Health when I was here, and I terminated it. China with 1.4 billion people. We have 350. We have. Nobody knows what we have because so many people came in illegally. But let's say we have 325. They had 1.4 billion. They were paying 39 million. We were paying 500 million. Seemed a little unfair to me, so that wasn't a reason. But I dropped out. They offered me to come back for 39 million. In theory, it should be less than that, but, you know, and when Biden came back, they came back for 500 million. He knew that you could have come back for 39 million. They wanted us back so badly. So we'll see what happens.
Joe Bob
I just. I love the way the president's brain works of just. Just like, hey, look, proportionally, this is what we should be paying, and this is what we were paying. And also, you know, even if we were paying the proportion rate, that doesn't excuse all of the insanity that went on over there. Obviously, there are bureaucratic issues and conflicts of interest. Like, again, why was the director from Ethiopia not exactly known to be the most technologically medically advanced society in the world? Obviously, there were other nations that had massive influence from. Without paying upfront for it, by the way, just to put that in proportionality, the United States was putting in, like President Trump said, like, $500 million that was effectively paying for, like, 20% of the entire World Health Organization, which, again, by the way, why is that? Why is there so much money there to begin with? But we're not. We parse that a little bit later. Bottom line, paying for a fifth of the entire world's World Health Organization relative to our population, it's about 4%. So 4% of the entire world population, which exists in the United States of America, was funding 22%, roughly, of the World Health Organization, which doesn't make any sense. Obviously, there were massive fails at the failures of the World Health Organization that existed in the fallout of COVID like, hey, China, we're not going to collect any data. We're also not going to press you on collecting any data. There's a massive lack of accountability. Nobody knew what was going on in the World Health Organization. They were just issuing edicts without any sort of evidence as to why those edicts were necessary. There was obviously corporate interests that were pushing the World Health Organization. There was a bunch of doled out money from a bunch of libs across the entire world. The bottom line is the World Health Organization needed to go. Now you may be asking why the heck are we talking about this? The reason is this libs are still big mad at all of this. Yesterday, not a year ago, when this happened, not six months after it happened yesterday, Sheryl Stolberg of the New York Times wrote a scathing piece against the President in the United States of America a year after we pulled out of the World Health Organization. Let me just read you a quote from this. And this is becomes ironic. And again the libs being a character caricature of themselves up in the air. Status of flu vaccines is just one of the countless global health matters that are left hanging in the balance by the United States withdrawal. Global health experts are deeply concerned that if a novel bug similar to the coronavirus emerges, a lack of international coordination with will lead to death and disaster. Now even if those things were true, you're putting the ability in the hands of people who have zero ability. This is one of the biggest things with the libs. If a, if a group or an NGO or a nonprofit or whatever calls themselves an anti poverty group or a homeless housing group, but then does nothing to actually help end poverty or end homelessness for homeless people, if none of those things that they claim to do are happening and then conservatives go, hey, well none of these things that they claim to do are happening. Maybe we should not give them any more money. The libs will say why are you against housing for homeless people or ending poverty? This is literally the argument that they're making here. Hey, another big thing may happen. So we shouldn't have pulled out of the organization. That wouldn't stop the big thing from happening even if they, if we were in them. Ridiculous article goes on to quote some other dude, the former director of the cdc. Health threats do not respect borders. And and weakening global COP cooperation makes Americans less safe. And again, that operates under the assumption that if we were involved that it would make a difference. The bottom line is the WHO is massively corrupted. And even if we were involved, I don't think we have the inclination really to go turn the entire organization around. It's just not. We just don't care enough because it doesn't work. And so to sit there and claim well, pulling out of this organization is a threat to Americans everywhere. Has to operate under the assumption that all of the things that the who is guilty of is objectively false, which is just an insane, crazy hill to die on. Um, you know what? I was gonna go into an anecdote about how I made butter last night, two nights ago. Very excited about my butter making capabilities. Maybe we'll talk about that a little bit later on in the show. We don't have time to get to it because I do want to get to all of the different headlines and kind of the wrapping up. We're, we're doing this thing, we're the last couple segments of the week, kind of just tying some stories up in a nice little bow. Hey, where did this leave off? Because we used a big story at the time and, you know, we're awaiting a court trial or whatever it was. And now that those things have kind of sorted themselves out, we can decide, well, here we go. So, yeah, well, that's what we're going to do. Next segments. Got the TikTok deal here. Got the Iowa superintendent wrapping that story up with a nice little bow. And then we'll clean out, clean out the clips that we didn't use throughout the rest of the week. We'll be right back after the break. Don't go away.
Producer Glenn
ICE agent's real law enforcement with real law enforcement power. A lot of people are saying they.
Guest or Co-host
Aren'T, but that's wrong, independent of what you think of them. Under the law, which is what we talk about here, ICE agents are real federal law enforcement officers. They actually complete their training at the same giant federal facilities where other agencies like the Secret Service, DEA and Marshals training.
Producer Glenn
As for the law, their authority to investigate and make arrests for immigration crimes falls under these two federal statutes, Sections 1226 and 1357. But because they are sworn federal law enforcement officers, they also have broad Title 18 authority. Title 18 being the general code of federal federal criminal laws in the US.
Guest or Co-host
And this is a big point of misunderstanding for people. A lot of people think that ICE only has authority for immigration related offenses. And while it's true that ice's main mission is to enforce immigration related crimes, they won't be staffed on a bank robbery, for example. They still technically have the legal authority to arrest for tons of different federal crimes committed in their presence because they are sworn federal law enforcement.
Producer Glenn
This is how we see ICE agents in the news, arresting for things like obstruction and assault, even though these aren't specific immigration offenses. And because tons of people in the comments are getting this wrong. This is just an important clarification for.
Joe Bob
You to know that is a. I think they're a husband and wife attorney duo. They went to Harvard. They're. They're pretty big on social media and they're actually kind of interesting. I think they're probably lefties, but it's really fascinating that they felt the need to say, hey, I know we have DEI higher police chiefs around the country, I. E. I don't know, whatever her name was in Philadelphia saying, these law. These ass ages. Ain't no real law enforcement. Like, even libs are like, they are like, I. I don't know how to. I don't know how to like tell you. It's not, it's not like, like, oh, this is. That's just your opinion, man. No, it's. It just is true. There's a good rundown of it. Yeah. ICE agents have the ability to do, you know, enforce the law, so there's that. Okay. Wrapping up some of the stories in the headlines this this week. TikTok. Allegedly. Allegedly. I don't know why I used allegedly, but I guess it is alleged. I don't. You know, they have announced that they finalized a deal to create an American entity which avoids the looming ban in the United States. Remember, Congress voted to ban TikTok or sell them to an American company. Discussion has been going on for years now. It was signed into law, I think. Right. There's something law under Biden and then Trump is the one supposed to execute it, but then has been leading the hunt because he's like, hey, look, a bunch of people are on TikTok. We don't just outright ban it. That seems crazy. Let's try to find a sale. Well, it looks like that sale has been found. The social video platform company signed an agreement with a bunch of major investors, including Oracle, Silver Lake and emirati investment firm MGX, to form the new TikTok US joint vents venture. Without getting into the details of this, I'm excited that Oracle is in there. Larry Ellison, big Trump guy that does it, isn't super loud about it, but his son is the one who's running Skydance, who now owns cbs, who's hopefully trying to make a turn into the sanity in your mainstream media. Um, but the bottom line is that's going to be really interesting to see unfold. You know, is it a perfect situation? No, but no sale was going to be perfect. People are talking about like, well, Facebook is just as bad.

Wow.

They're not. I mean, the Biggest thing I think here is that this new version of TikTok will off operate according to this press release under definitive safeguards that protect national security through hot comprehensive data protections. Algorithm security content moderation software assurances for US users. I think the big thing here is algorithm security. My biggest problem with TikTok was not the data stuff, although I think that is a big thing. But my biggest thing was like the algorithm, right? The Chinese Communist party got to pick what goes on in front of viewers who are viewing stuff on TikTok. They that would be like giving the Japanese the ability to decide what goes on the front page of the New York Times in 1940. Like it would just be, it would be crazy, right? Like you don't let your adversaries tell all of your citizens what's going on by way of algorithm. So in my opinion, that is the biggest thing in the TikTok sale. The security, the data security. That, that's all. Okay, I get it, that's, that's relevant. But I think the big thing is making sure that algorithm is not sending communist propaganda to people in the United States of America. Other story they want to wrap up, put a nice neat bow on. Is this story. Do you remember Ian Roberts? I believe this is graphic five. Good old picture of, of Ian. Oh, sorry, no, not graphic five. Maybe it's graphic for, I don't know. Not that one either. Maybe I didn't put it in there. All right, well, sorry about that. Ian Roberts is the. What, where's he from? The Ghanaian, not Guamanian, from Ghana, Guyana in South America, who was an illegal immigrant in the United States of America and somehow acquired the job of superintendent in Iowa's largest school district. Any if you remember that story, uh, he was targeted by U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement and pulled over in a school issued Jeep Cherokee. Allegedly fled the federal agents. They later found the car abandoned near some like wooded area. Uh, and they found not only his car, but also in the car, a loaded handgun wrapped in a towel and $3,000 in cash. Real upstanding citizen here. Well, okay, I'm sorry, he's not a citizen. That's kind of the whole point. Um, somehow that guy filed for employment or, or applied for a job. Filed an i9 form. Hired in 2003, 2023, said he was a U.S. citizen, was making $286,000 to be the superintendent. Superintendent of this Iowa school. Anyways, all that's to say the court proceedings played out. He has pled guilty to being an illegal alien now or sorry, lying on some of his employment applications. Now, the thing that's interesting about this is this. Him pleading guilty doesn't guarantee him getting deported, which I find odd. It just says, well, it increases his chances of being deported. Why? Why are Those chances not 100%? That seems silly. Anyways, there's that story. Let's break right here. Let's go to the clip Clean out. We got a bunch of clips that we want to play that we didn't use throughout the week, and we will get to those asap. Tpt. Com, if you'd like to be included in our mailbag segment of the show. We'll be right back after the break.
You rather get $5 million in one year or get one. Get $1 in 5 million years. So $1 every day for 5 million years.
Guest or Co-host
$1 every day for 5 million Years. Because I will be getting more money every single day.
Joe Bob
And not just one.
You know what I mean? Okay. Even if you had the longevity and lifespan of early biblical characters, that'd still only be like a thousand years, couple hundred years. You're gonna get $1 every year, every day for 5 million years. Okay. No. No further comment. Because I do want to get to some of these clips. These are kind of fun. It's Friday, which. These are. These are. There's a bunch of clips that we pull throughout the week that we just don't use. And this is. We're cleaning out the clips. The clip Clean out is what this segment's gonna be called. Let's start off first with a bunch of libs outside of JD Vance's hotel. Where is this? In Minneapolis. This. I thought, I. I think this is so delicious and fun and good and ironic, but this is. This is lives outside of JD's hotel, making noise so that he cannot sleep at night. This is cut nine. That's a college university students from University of Minnesota. They are. They're banging pots and pans outside of JD's hotel room to make sure that he doesn't sleep. The hilarious and funny ironic thing about this is five hours prior to this video being filmed, JD was home in dc. He was not even in the state. He had gone home several hours before. And a bunch of university students decided, hey, we're going to make noise. Keep him up. That's going to be kind of hard. He's a thousand miles away. But good luck. Good luck woke college libs. Speaking of Minnesota, I don't. There's not a ton of commentary that's necessary here. This is, this is a high iq American Immigrant from Somalia, describing what it's like to be Somalian. See if you can follow this with me. His cut 10.
So I'm Somali. I'm proud to be Somali. To me, being Somali isn't just eating bananas with rice. It's a lot. It's like. It's an interesting thing. It's very hard to describe what it means to be Somali and what it means to be American, but it's like a cultural fusion. It's kind of like the bananas and rice. You know, people don't really see, like, you know, it's. You know, people don't think, oh, you can eat bananas with rice. But that's what it's like to be Somali and American. It's like that combination of banana and rice. But you're gonna get what I mean.
Okay, so sorry. It is or is not like bananas and rice, because it's not just bananas and rice. Like, it's. It's not just that. Obviously, it's more than that. It's like. Like bananas and rice. You know what I mean? All right. Are you smarter than a fifth grader? The TV show played out in real life. All right, so let's. We're going to continue to the clip. Clean out. This is Congressman Maxwell Frost, I think is his name. Crazy person. What about a banana rice? So some of the comments, he's, you know, Haitians are Americans too, which is just not true. But this is. That's what he said. Cut11 released a video. Yes. Last week informing my constituents about increased ICE presence in Orlando, where there's a huge Haitian diaspora. We're very worried about the targeting of our Haitian brothers, sisters, and siblings across the entire country. And us as a community, we have to band together to protect Americans. And you're an American regardless of what your legal status is. Not true. My truck is not a Ferrari. Actually, maybe it is. Maybe I can just. That's. Maybe. Maybe it was an identity thing. Haitians are just as American as Americans. No, they're not. Literally, definitionally. Let's play one more that I think is interesting. This is a tennis player, Amanda Anna. Some of. I'm probably mispronouncing that, but this is actually great. Some reporter, during a press conference, asked her basically, hey, will you. Will you talk badly about the United States for us? And she basically said no. Cut 12. Congratulations on the win. I've been asking a lot of the American players just how it feels to play under the American flag right now, and I'm curious how you feel.
Yeah, I mean, I was Born in America, so I'm always proud to represent my country. And yeah, a lot of us are doing really well, and it's great to see a lot of, you know, great athletes on the women's side, on the men's side. So, yeah, I feel like we're all doing a great job representing ourselves.
Sorry, do you mind if I follow up?
Sure.
Sorry, just to clarify a little, I mean, sort of in the context of the last year of the. Everything that's been happening in the, in the U.S. does that complicate that feeling at all?
I don't think that's relevant to many.
Amanda. One of the unique things about tennis is I, I love the, I love the caveat that they, you know, Sorry, let me, let me clarify, you know, with everything that's happening, as if they've said just with everything that's happening, there needs to be a comp. Somebody do a super cut of just lib saying, you know, with everything that's happening. With everything that's happening. With everything that's happening, without ever defining any of the things that are happening. Oh, you mean the lower murder rate like that. Okay, Yeah, I actually feel great about that. Oh, you mean the border being secure? No, I feel great about that. Oh, you mean inflation easing. Yeah, I feel. Feel great about that. Oh, all of these different things that are objectively beneficial to the United States and the American people more broadly. Everything that's happening. That's always time for TBT. TBSA.com get to our mailbag segment before we send you off into the wonderful weekend. TPT tbsa.com we'll be right back after the break. Don't go away. Look, when life give you.
Jabarcis, get your ass.
Oh, Jabarcus. All right, nothing I say here is not going to get me in trouble. So let's just go to our mailbox. Tbtbsa.com if you'd like to be included in the email in the like minute that we have here, frequent Score correspondent Scott. So brevity is the soul of wit, and Scott understands that. Scott sent an email that just said global warming question mark. The entire country is freezing right now. You're probably at home sitting, going, God, yeah, I wish we had some global warming up in here. This is cold. So thank you, Scott, for your very appropriate and brief email. Jim and Darlene, on the topic of the Cuomo, I don't know which brother is worse. They can just go away quietly into the dark. That is a good question. Which brother is worse? Between Andrew and Chris, they're not entirely sure, Robert says, in an effort to keep the peace and narrow the divide between conservatives and the left, perhaps Andrew Cuomo would prefer if we call illegal aliens Travelers Without Authority to Stay. Robert I'm not going to say the acronym there, but if people would like to come to that conclusion in their heads, the acronym again is for the words Travelers without a Thought. Authority to Stay. Travelers Without Authority to Stay. Go ahead and write it out if you need to, and then have a nice good little laugh with myself and Robert on the topic of we got a couple seconds. Topic. Donna says. On the topic of the lady producer, Glenn just got it. He's clapping and laughing hysterically. Good. Good job, Robert. Dang, we don't have time for Donna's email. Maybe we'll get to that a little bit later. Or, sorry, Monday in the show. Hey, have a great weekend. Tptbsa.com is the email address. If you'd like to send along your thoughts, comments, concerns, criticisms, we will be with you same time, same place on Monday. Have a fantastic weekend. God bless America.
