Joe Bob
As if you needed more things to worry about, the delivery driver coming to
Co-host
your home may not be who is
Joe Bob
on the actual app. Also, Chinese spies have infiltrated Eric Swalwell's bedroom. Sorry, his pants. Sorry, city councils. Specifically in California.
Co-host
We have a new policy here where
Joe Bob
I can scream at the staff, which is fantastic, evidenced by one of the leading candidates for governor in California. And spellcheck is easier than ever. However, Libs for some reason refused to do it. All that more coming up on this episode of the show. My name is Joe Bob.
Co-host
Thanks thanks so much for tuning in.
Joe Bob
Show starts right now. Trust in really, everything seems to be eroding in the American popular culture or society, and it's no different in the app world. You think when you order an Uber or doordash or literally anything that the person who's going to drive you somewhere has been properly vetted, has a driver's license, and speaks the language in order to navigate traffic?
Co-host
Well, probably not the case in a
Joe Bob
way or way higher percentage of the time. Apparently all of those people delivering food or items or driving you from place to place don't actually match the people that have been actually vetted by the apps. We'll get to that. First, I got to remind you, tptpsa.com is the email address if you'd like to send along your thoughts, comments, concerns, even criticisms. Those are all welcome. TPT USA.com also leave a comment wherever it is that you happen to be watching this all across social media accounts. If you're not following us on social media, I'll pray for you. That's all I can say. You're missing out on one of life's greatest gifts on social media, Jo B O B. Just type it in. On pretty much any of the social media accounts, you'll be able to find all that you want, at least from this show, clips wise and otherwise but if you comment on any of the social media platforms, you also can get read here on the show. And if your comment or email is gross, vile, disgusting and downright nasty, the chances of us reading it on the show actually go up substantially. So make sure that's included when you're thinking about what to say in your comments. Tptp USA.com when is the last time you ordered something from an app? DoorDash specifically Uber Eats Any of the app based services that you think you know, not really into cooking tonight.
Co-host
It's kind of a cold evening.
Joe Bob
I know. Let me find somebody else to deliver me some hot warm food on this cold night. Now generally speaking, you kind of have the understanding that while this app has clearly vetted all of these fine, upstanding individuals who are going to deliver me food at the place that I live, because if they don't, well, that opens me up to a ton of liability. Well, unfortunately for you, and again, because you need something else to worry about,
Co-host
that's not always the case, actually. More often, not more often than not,
Joe Bob
but more often than I would be comfortable with.
Co-host
The people doing the actual deliveries are not the people that the app and you think that they are. According to a new CBS report, the
Joe Bob
numbers are actually staggering. And that's kind of a problem. Just to give you some context and some scope on this, just in quarter one, Q1 2026 Uber has facilitated 3.6
Co-host
billion rides and or deliveries just again in Q1. In other words, they do a lot
Joe Bob
of business and a lot of transactions
Co-host
with people who again trust their services. Now for, for our part, we're told
Joe Bob
by all of these apps that they have a verified id, a background check system. You see their profile picture, you see who's coming when they arrive.
Co-host
The apps tell you constantly we vet
Joe Bob
our drivers so you have nothing to worry about. The problem is increasingly that seems to not be the case. Now there's a lot of stories like this, but CBS actually started their investigation based on on this guy, a guy named Charles Bledsoe who lives in the high desert of California in a trailer park. Now according to CBS, he has some mobility issues, so he depends on DoorDash or UberEats or whatever the app based delivery service is. However, this is his story and things that consistently happen to him.
CBS Reporter
Cut 15 I noticed the the profile picture on the app showed a female named Kayla and when he, when the driver got here and I let him in, it was not a female and there was nobody else in the car.
Charles Bledsoe
Bledsoe says that Driver tried to force his way into his rv.
Narrator
And that's when he says he showed
Charles Bledsoe
the driver that he had a gun.
CBS Reporter
I couldn't have physically dealt with him. I think he'd have been able to overpower me pretty easily. And when I. When he saw the weapon, he backed off and went back out of the motor home. And he left.
Co-host
Well, that's not great.
Joe Bob
Charles's story is one of many, but in his particular instance, one good thing. He had a gun. That's good deterrent for somebody trying to
Co-host
bust into your home.
Joe Bob
Uh, also, though I will add this caveat especially. Cause it's California. How do we know that that wasn't actually Kayla?
Co-host
Again, given that it's California, how do
Joe Bob
we know that that burly man trying to break into his trailer wasn't Kayla? Who identifies as a different.
Co-host
I don't know. I. Silly joke in there.
Joe Bob
Bottom line here is he then went on to say, look, I use these delivery apps all the time and says about 8 in 10 of the people
Co-host
that come to his place of residence
Joe Bob
are not the people that appear on the actual app. Now, granted, this is not some scientific study. Nobody did this on a mass scale.
Co-host
But at the same time, it did
Joe Bob
prompt CBS and the investigative journalists covering this to try the experiment on their own. In Los Angeles, they did eight different orders on a Friday afternoon just sitting in a park. And they found, again, not scientific data necessarily, but they found that two of the eight drivers that they summoned to give them deliveries didn't match. The first one was a Jamba Juice order where it was supposed to be a bearded guy named Armand. The guy who showed up was not Armand. The second one was supposed to be a blonde lady who was delivering food on the app. Another juice order, for some reason, I don't know why they did specifically juice orders, but this was. The first one was Jamba Juice. The second one was Juice Crafters. But this is the person on the app, according to cbs, and this is the person that showed up. Now, I want to get thrown the caveat. It is California. This person may or may not have had a transition surgery in the process of getting verified on the app and then the actual delivery. We want to leave that open, especially in California.
Co-host
But considering that that's not the case,
Joe Bob
probably it looks as if there are
Co-host
a ton of people who are swapping
Joe Bob
profiles or buying or renting profiles and in order to deliver food. Now, CBS contacted a bunch of the
Co-host
apps that facilitate this, and they all
Joe Bob
pretty much had the same story. Door Dash said this to CVS accounts sharing is a clear violation of our policies. We have zero tolerance for it. They then banned those two accounts that CBS reported that were not the actual driver when they did their own testing. Uber says it has real time ID checks, selfie verification system that's supposed to confirm the driver is who they say they are. But they also say that fraud is a very quote, complex issue and bad actors find new ways of scamming. Yeah, but you kind of have to find those new ways of scamming and stop them in their tracks immediately.
Co-host
Lyft, same thing.
Joe Bob
It's strictly prohibited. Rigorous background checks and account violations lead to permanent bans. But of course, what seems to be the case here is that, you know,
Co-host
there's not a ton of liability.
Joe Bob
Well, actually, maybe there is a ton of liability, but the thing that I think we can know from this is
Co-host
that the apps themselves seem to know about these problems, but I don't know
Joe Bob
how much of a priority they make it considering the volume at which it seems to be happening. Okay, so the question becomes, who is buying these accounts and how are they getting them right?
Co-host
The assumption is that anybody who can
Joe Bob
qualify for account for either Uber, DoorDash,
Co-host
Lyft, whatever, would just go through the normal channels. The only types of people who wouldn't
Joe Bob
go through the normal channels do the actual verification, the background checks, the IDs, everything that is necessary are the people
Co-host
that one, can't actually qualify because there's
Joe Bob
bad things in their background. Pass.
Co-host
And two are the exact people that you don't want coming to your home to deliver you anything or deliver you
Joe Bob
somewhere if they're driving.
Co-host
Okay, well, how.
Joe Bob
How is this happening? How are people securing these fake profiles or at least buying or sharing or renting some of these profiles? Well, it's actually a very deep, complex web on the dark Internet. Sorry, I'm being waved down by producer Glenn. It's actually just on Facebook Marketplace.
Co-host
Yeah, yeah, believe it or not, Facebook Marketplace and Instagram is where these people who are buying and selling these fake accounts are conducting their business. It's not this like complex web of Internet. Somewhere you have to be deep and
Joe Bob
dark and secretive or it's offline.
Co-host
Now they're just posting on Instagram. Hey, want a fake Uber account or fake Lyft account or a fake Door Dash account? Go ahead and send me your information. CBS did this and tried to secure
Joe Bob
one of these accounts. They went through the process, they found an ad on Facebook Marketplace and just messaged the guy that and said, hey, do I need to pass a background check. And the person responding said, I can help you with that. The person responding also then said, if you don't have a driver's license, that's not a problem.
Co-host
It kind of feels like it's the biggest possible problem I get, just given the fact that the delivery service itself requires driving the product or the meal or the person from one place or another. Having a driver's license or, sorry, not
Joe Bob
having driver's license seems to be kind
Co-host
of one of the biggest problems there actually are.
Joe Bob
So there's that.
Co-host
And just in case you're not freaked
Joe Bob
out or spooked enough, because apparently that's what we're doing here on this show today. Sorry about that. But that's just the reality. Uh, the legality behind it is actually kind of murky.
Co-host
Okay, so, so yes, if somebody steals
Joe Bob
your ID or your impersonates you, that.
Co-host
That's obviously fraud.
Joe Bob
That's identity theft. That's a whole litany of different crimes.
Co-host
If somebody unknowing to the to you,
Joe Bob
steals your Uber account, your doordash account, and then starts driving for you. The problem is the chances of that happening seem to be slim, because then you would have to get that person to pay you.
Co-host
If hypothetical here, if I were driving
Joe Bob
for DoorDash or UberEats or whatever, and somebody stole my account and were working for me, and then money would randomly appear in that account, I'm not entirely sure how mad I would be. Now, that would be fraud. But the chances of me reporting somebody would be probably slim. I'd go, thank you, Jose, or Deepak, or whoever it is that stole my account, you're actually kind of benefiting me a lot. Right.
Co-host
That's where it is illegal. The problem is, if it's consensual, if I.
Joe Bob
The person that's facilitating these fake accounts allows somebody to use my identity and say, hey, look, I can pass the background checks. I've got a driver's license.
Co-host
I can.
Joe Bob
I can qualify for these accounts. You pay me a couple hundred bucks and you can go ahead and do it, do the actual work. Let's call it four or five hundred bucks every single month.
Co-host
You do all the work, you keep
Joe Bob
all the money, and then for me, I just. I get my four or five hundred bucks every month. That would be a consensual relationship, which
Co-host
would not constitute as fraud, which means it's not a crime. Yes, it is against company policy for Uber Lyft or whoever, but it's not actually a crime, which is a bigger problem in other Words. There's incentive there. It's not a crime. And the app's delivery services aren't really doing much about it. Which I guess leaves us to the
Joe Bob
solution of if you're going to continue doing this for any of your deliveries.
Co-host
Uh, one, try as best you can
Joe Bob
to verify that the person is the person on the app. And two, I guess have a firearm at the ready, like Charles from the trailer park in the high desert in California. Those appear to be the options. Not trying to spook you too much, but I feel like this is worth noting, especially for folks who, I don't know, have to legitimately use this sort of stuff because of mobility issues, because. Because they need their prescriptions filled. Because whatever reason this is happening and you should be aware of it, lest you, God forbid something terrible happened to you, having somebody deliver something at your place of residence, knowing where you live, who. All right, TPT tpsa.com is the email address. If you'd like to send along your thoughts, comments, concerns. Has this ever happened to you? Have you ever ordered an Uber from somewhere?
Co-host
You get in the car and you
Joe Bob
realize, oh, shoot, this person is not the same person on the app?
Co-host
Uh, it's never happened to me.
Joe Bob
I've used Uber quite a bit, quite extensively. But at the same time, I don't know. Knowing that this is a possibility, I'm pretty strict on verifying who's who now.
Co-host
Ride shares specifically. That feels like it.
Joe Bob
That's. That's.
Co-host
That's a little bit more difficult.
Joe Bob
And also, obviously, you're going to have a heightened sense of security for the person getting in the car. Now deliveries, on the other hand, I don't really have a ton of. I would love to Hear your thoughts. Tptposta.com or leave a comment wherever it is that you happen to be watching this. If you deliver a lot, how often is this happening? How often do you go, that didn't look like Christina.
Co-host
That kind of looked like, I don't
Joe Bob
know, make up a name. I'm not going to get myself in trouble for making up names, although I know you want me to do that.
Co-host
TBT.
Joe Bob
TBBs, they come. If you have any experience with this. We'll be right back after the break with Chinese spies who have weaseled their way into Eric Swalwell's pants.
Co-host
Sorry.
Joe Bob
Dang it. I did it again. Into a city council in Southern California. Let us know what you think. TPT tptpc.com we'll be right back after the break. Don't go away.

Interviewer
The start of our interview with Javier Braceta in Highland Park.
Javier Becerra
By the way, this is a profile piece. This is not a gotcha piece. Right?
Interviewer
Well, look, I think we're. These questions are fair. It's in order to learn about you as a candidate.
Javier Becerra
So long as about the profile.
Interviewer
I don't know how you define profile, but I'd like to begin the interview.
Javier Becerra
The way I describe profile is you talk about all the things that I've done, things I want to do, and along with some tough questions. But not only tough questions, profile piece or not.
Interviewer
KTLA had tough questions.
Co-host
That is the quintessential lib mindset.
Joe Bob
I will sit down for this interview, but you're only allowed to ask me tough questions like why are you so handsome? Why are you so awesome at everything? Is it tough being the best person in the world?
Co-host
I'll be able to answer these very,
Joe Bob
very tough questions in the deep blue state where nobody is politically held accountable for anything so long as you have a D next to your name.
Co-host
But that, that par for the course, that's like. It reminds me of Katie Porter's same thing, same type of lib, same state. Storming out of an interview. I thought this was going to be an interview about how awesome and beautiful I am.
Joe Bob
The interviewer said, well, Ms. Porter, we, we lie and we spin, but we can't lie and we can't spend that much. There's, there's. Nobody's gonna buy that she gets up and storms out of the room. There's no need to make fun of her physical appearance. Although there's a lot of material there.
Co-host
That's just rude of me. I didn't need to do that. But also I'm trying to highlight the
Joe Bob
fact that what's even ruder than that
Co-host
is the mindset of, no, you can't
Joe Bob
ask me tough questions because I will
Co-host
not be held accountable for all of
Joe Bob
the things that I've done.
Co-host
I'm. This is supposed to be a profile piece about how all.
Joe Bob
How wonderful and awesome I am.
Co-host
It's like, the. It's like this. People asking, Joe Biden, what kind of ice cream did you get? Mitten chip F you. Sorry. Ah, gosh, now I'm mad. Now I'm mad and upset about this. This just.
Joe Bob
When's the last time a conservative has had just, like, a puff piece interview from, like, a mainstream outlet? You go on Fox News, you still have to hit. Get hit with questions from Brett Baer, who's a fair and hard journalist, even though works for a conservative outlet. Just not a thing for, like, normal people. It's only for libs who are like, I will not be questioned in my idiocy. All right, that's enough of that because, holy cow, I can go on for days about that, but if I do, then we're not gonna have time to
Co-host
get to the points.
Joe Bob
We have to do that. We have to get to all of the points.
Co-host
Get to the point. Get to the point.
Joe Bob
I made several jokes about this that I'm. I'm sad to say that I'm not proud of. I am extremely proud of them. I'm not just not proud of them. I'm very proud of them.
Co-host
Uh, the joke the Arcadia mayor apparently did.
Joe Bob
The meme. If you're not hip to this story, maybe you haven't been watching Rav all day, which that's. That's something you got to work on internally on your own. But might as well throw in our 2 cents here. This from KTLA. California. California mayor accused of working as a covert agent for China. To which follow up, question.
Co-host
What did Eric Swalwell know?
Joe Bob
We all remember the story of Eric Swalwell dating Fang FANG Back in, what, 2017 turned out to be a Chinese spy.
Co-host
Looks like there's another one.
Joe Bob
Mayor of Arcadia, California, Eileen Wang abruptly resigned Monday as federal prosecutors announced that
Co-host
she had been charged with acting as
Joe Bob
a covert foreign agent for China.
Co-host
She has agreed to plead guilty on
Joe Bob
a single felony count that carries a statutory minimum sentence of 10 years in federal prison for working on behalf of the People's Republic of China to promote its interests through propaganda efforts.
Co-host
The whole story.
Joe Bob
Maybe we'll do a bigger, long thing on it. I say that actually go to our YouTube channel. We'll do something longer there. Just type in Jobo. You'll be able to find. It should be up a little bit at some point today because the.
Co-host
The full, like, what she was doing,
Joe Bob
she was, like, organizing, like, a news website is actually really, really fascinating, but we don't have time to get to it here. There.
Co-host
There's.
Joe Bob
There There's a call to action. Go subscribe to our YouTube channel. TBTBSA.com is the email address. But also, social media is where you can interact with us.
Co-host
But that's a.
Joe Bob
That is a fascinating story. And again, the main question that I have is, what did Eric's wall. Well, know?
Co-host
Was he part of this?
Joe Bob
What.
Co-host
Was he involved romantically with the mayor of Arcadia?
Joe Bob
She was elected to the city council. She's the mayor in that they do, like, a rotating mayor. So she just became mayor in January, so it's not like they elected her mayor. She was elected as city council. But fascinating story nonetheless, and glad that the. The feds are on top of it.
Co-host
I will also say, too, this is
Joe Bob
not at all disparaging in any way. I think it's actually pretty smart. I would imagine that this is done intentionally the day before, two days before President Trump goes to China.
Co-host
I would.
Joe Bob
I would imagine that that has something
Co-host
to do with, like, hey, we caught
Joe Bob
one of your Chinese spies here in California sending back information or using propaganda to influence people in our country.
Co-host
Uh, not so good, Mr. G. I
Joe Bob
would imagine that there's. There. It's not a coincidence that she gets arrested now for that. Just a thought. Speaking of California and Chinese spies, there's no.
Co-host
There's no evidence of that.
Joe Bob
There's no need. Need for me to disparage Ms. Porter for being a Chinese spy, although I don't have proof that she's not either. I'm just kidding. There's nothing. There's nothing there.
Co-host
Right.
Joe Bob
In case anybody's gonna try and call me out on that. Uh, it's a joke. It's a joke transition for a joke candidate.
Co-host
The.
Joe Bob
The lone woman left in the California gubernatorial race. It's all about her temperament. Uh, I think we played a clip from her over the shoot. I can never remember what we do on the show and what we do on the Internet because there's. There's so much content, which, again, is another attempt.
Co-host
Go.
Joe Bob
Go see what. All the stuff we got on the Internet, too. There's a lot of extra fun stuff there.
Co-host
But the clip that she had during
Joe Bob
the debates talking about her temperament, she couldn't believe that people kept talking about her temperament. Well, actually, that's the only thing libs care for. Care about. According to the California Globe, Katie Porter, the only woman left in the crowd at California gubernatorial debate, is struggling largely over her total involvement with stealing housing from the University of California, Irvine. Sorry. No, that's not it. Struggling with the fact that she hates the rich but gets paid almost $300,000 from the university. That's not it either. Oh, struggling largely due to her viral videos that critics showed her temperament issues, including yelling at a staffer. Get the F out of my shot during a zoom interview. Uh, that's basically the story there. There's nothing really else to expand on except for the fact that Californians are going to be put to the test on whether or not they are going
Co-host
to accept a wild crazy lady to
Joe Bob
get through the primary to govern the people of California.
Co-host
I will say, though, I think it
Joe Bob
was AOC yesterday talk talking about some like business people and people who conduct business or who have employees or staff being able to treat them inhumanely. Katie Porter Also evidence of not treating people humanely who's on their staff, which actually I think is good for me here at the show. It feels like it provides me some sort of ability, some sort of. You're granting me permission to also do the same with our staff. So the show staff will be berated. Feel free to berate the show staff in the email. Tptpusa.com I know I say send it nasty emails to me, but feel free to include the staff too. So in your emails. Tbt.com Speaking of berating, President Trump is
Co-host
being berated by the libs because they
Joe Bob
have nothing else to complain about.
Co-host
I guess I see this as actually
Joe Bob
a political win for the administration when this is an NPR headline. Nonprofit sues the federal government over plans to paint the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
Co-host
This, for whatever reason, has been all
Joe Bob
over my social media feed.
Co-host
For some reason the libs have been having utter conniption over like a construction project. Like we all like the Lincoln Reflecting Pool. It's cool.
Joe Bob
I don't have been there. I've walked on it.
Co-host
Actually.
Joe Bob
I've walked on the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool because it's frozen. It was actually at the inauguration last year and it was frozen solid. So walked across it. It's actually pretty fun.
Co-host
But nobody. This is okay. So we just let it like fall
Joe Bob
into total and utter dilapidation. Like that's.
Co-host
That's silly.
Joe Bob
Nobody thinks that.
Co-host
And yet for whatever reason, this is
Joe Bob
like the sole thing libs are like hyper focused on. And as I mentioned, I think this
Co-host
is actually a political win if given
Joe Bob
the fact there are a lot of things to talk about. This is what they choose to talk about. Great.
Co-host
Cool.
Joe Bob
Sure, go ahead.
Co-host
And not that this is even a head fake. This is just stupid. But sure, if you'd like to. If libs would like to die on
Joe Bob
this hill for whatever reason. Be our guest.
Co-host
I guess it's going to be hard
Joe Bob
to drum up a lot of irritation from me or anybody on revamping the Lincoln Pool. They're also talking about, oh, it ran over budget.
Co-host
Like, okay, well, this will be the
Joe Bob
first time ever a government project has run over budget.
Co-host
Glad.
Joe Bob
Thanks for joining the party, Libs. Glad you finally arrived. Speaking of the libs and their party, this is actually pretty interesting. Out of Pennsylvania accusing the party of antisemitism. Pa Supreme Court justice leaves the lib party, the Democrat party that elected him. Pennsylvania Supreme Court justice announced he's leaving the party, citing what he describes as growing anti Semitism within the his own party. Well, I guess it's not his party anymore.
Co-host
Yeah.
Joe Bob
Again, sorry for, you know, knocking you off your seats here, but holy cow. There's a rise in Jew hatred on the left.
Co-host
This is shocking and unbelievable, which is.
Joe Bob
Dude, okay, at the risk of going on into a whole thing about even our side, I've talked about it here on the show before, but the, the attacks that were going on in New York City last night. I'm sure a bunch of people have covered it again, trying to keep it more lighter already on the show, but this is something worth talking about.
Co-host
I think I tweeted, or do you call it tweeting? I asked.
Joe Bob
What do I, I don't know what I call it. TBT, tbc.com if you know what I'm supposed to call it. But I x something on the Jew hatred last night in New York City that was on full display, like, so,
Co-host
so people on the right, the, the, the crazy right and the left are supposed to have me believe that the
Joe Bob
Jews orchestrate all of the attacks inflicted on themselves in order to get us
Co-host
to hate the clearly violent other side,
Joe Bob
the free Palestine people that, again, are clearly and obviously violent.
Co-host
How, how about instead I can just buy the fact that the clearly violent mob is violent? I like, I don't, I don't understand this, like, twisting like, it's not. I, I, I have eyes, I can
Joe Bob
see what it is. Nobody's convincing me of anything. It's just like, clear and abundant. Oh, hey, look, an angry mob is a, attacking a bunch of Jewish people. That's bad.
Co-host
What is that? Is that like, that crazy of a
Joe Bob
stance has nothing to do with this story specifically, but I guess it does. It all kind of, I don't know, intertwines with this, like, national mood, for whatever reason, to be, like, accepting of racism against Jews.
Co-host
I don't I get.
Joe Bob
I don't. I don't understand, like, why that's, like, the biggest topic for some people. It's ridiculous. It's crazy.
Co-host
Hey, how about don't hit anybody except
Joe Bob
for, like, ideological things? Well, don't hate them, but, like, you can disagree with people ideologically. But I don't know. Racism is bad.
Co-host
This is.
Joe Bob
I don't know what else to say about this. Speaking of racism, maybe, I don't know.
Co-host
The Virginia lives roasted over spelling mistakes
Joe Bob
in the redistricting documents. So the redistricting in Virginia got thrown out by the Virginia Supreme Court. We talked about a lot about that last week. But now they're. Insult to injury coming. They apparently misspelled a bunch of things.
Co-host
You know, spell check is the easiest
Joe Bob
thing to do ever in the modern age. You literally click a button, like in the olden days. And by olden days, I mean, like the early 1900s. I mean, sorry, early 1990s. Right.
Co-host
You'd have to use a dictionary. Like, there's a big, thick book that you had to, like, go and look
Joe Bob
up to see if you could spell it right.
Co-host
And. And even that was complicated because imagine
Joe Bob
you're spelling a word like psychology. Like, shoot, how do I spell psychology?
Co-host
Okay.
Joe Bob
S, S, S, S, S. Oh, shoot.
Co-host
I've read every single single word in the S section.
Joe Bob
How to spell psychology.
Co-host
Maybe it's a C. Okay. C, C, C, C, C. Dang it.
Joe Bob
And then somebody tells you, no, no,
Co-host
it starts with a P. What? Anyways, they used to be difficult and
Joe Bob
there weren't as many spelling errors, but
Co-host
now when spellcheck is as easy as it has ever been, were misspelling the simplest words like Virginia and Senator. I just. I don't know. I don't.
Joe Bob
We're getting dumber as a society, and I don't know what to do about it.
Co-host
Things are easier than ever.
Joe Bob
And yet, for some reason, our laziness has no bounds.
Co-host
Just click the button, press spell check. It's not that hard.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
All right.
Joe Bob
Tptvsa.com got a lot of fun official business to get to. I'm very excited about this. I won't belabor on about the reminders about, like, TPT or following us on social media or engaging with us on social media, or sending us emails about your thoughts, comments, concerns, criticisms. What do you think about any of these stories?
Co-host
I won't bore you with that because
Joe Bob
I want to get to official business. TPT tvc.com will be right back after the break.
Co-host
Do not go away.

Hakeem Jeffries
Let's work together. Following the leadership of President Joe Biden, whose record continues to move things in an incredibly positive direction for the American people. Wages are up, inflation is down. The high cost of living in the United States of America. It's a challenge that we need to tackle. They promised that costs would go down on day one, that they would address inflation. Costs haven't gone down. They're going up. Inflation is going up. And a lot of it has to do with Trump's reckless mismanagement of the economy.
Joe Bob
So I'm probably not supposed to tell you this, but I'll let you in on a little secret. In D.C. politics. On the eve of the inauguration, at midnight on the lawn of the Capitol building, Libs come, and then they take the script from the conservatives and they're like, okay, hold on. So we're. We're against inflation now? Or we, we, we think it's very, very bad. We don't think it's totally handled. Okay, cool. Perfect. Thank you. And then they use that script for the entire times conservatives are in office, and then when they get back into office, they take the script and they light it on fire. And then the cycle repeats itself every couple years, depending on who's in power. That's who has the.
Co-host
We think this is bad, and conservatives do it, too. It's not.
Joe Bob
That's not. It's not entirely on the left, but, yeah, great. Thanks, Hakeem.
Co-host
Also not.
Joe Bob
Probably not a great video to play today, specifically with the new inflation numbers out, which is not good, but it's also specifically to gas prices. So, like core cpi, very different thing, but don't need to get into it right now.
Co-host
Instead, we should laugh and make fun
Joe Bob
at our friends across the aisle, especially when they're conducting business, which if they're officials, it makes it what we call official business.
Co-host
It feels like there's just an endless
Joe Bob
amount of clips coming out of this specific one. But really, anytime Congresswoman AOC does an
Co-host
interview or a podcast, is there like a, I wonder if we could do this.
Joe Bob
Could we crowdfund her doing more podcasts. Like, for example, if we all raise money in order to give to whatever cause or campaign she wants with the contingent of you, but you have to
Co-host
do a podcast this week, because I honest to God, think we could then take clips from that podcast and raise
Joe Bob
the money that we'd given to whatever it is that we need to give in order to her to do a podcast tenfold. Right? Does that make sense?
Co-host
If we use our money to get her to do more podcasts, we would
Joe Bob
raise 10 times that amount of money by clipping up and mocking her podcasts.
Co-host
I think this is.
Joe Bob
I think this is a very good plan. Tptbusa.com if you agree or think that plan is brilliant or you're wrong, doesn't matter, send an email tbdtpo say. Com.
Co-host
But here's a yet another clip of AOC from this podcast that I think
Joe Bob
I've seen a thousand clips. I haven't seen this one, but I think I've seen about a thousand clips from this podcast. Here it is. Congresswoman from the Bronx.
Narrator
We now have a paramilitary force. We don't have a court system. Right. They don't need. They don't think they need judicial warrants. So you don't get due process. So you start creating this black box system.
Joe Bob
That's right.
Narrator
Point a finger. Whether it's like, again, like we saw in Jim Crow, whether you just point a finger and 100 years ago, accuse a little black boy of something, you can point a finger and accuse someone of that today. If you think when once you build that machine, that it's only going to be reserved to that.
Interviewer 2
That's right.
Narrator
This eats profit.
Joe Bob
Wow.
Co-host
The turn at the end, that eats profit.
Joe Bob
Okay.
Co-host
All right.
Joe Bob
We were talking about race and then
Co-host
ice and now capitalism.
Joe Bob
I guess she got all of the buzzwords in there.
Co-host
That's.
Joe Bob
That's amazing. You know, I guess on a more serious note, and I know we're kind of making fun of this, and I know I just said, hey, we're gonna mock aoc. This is mockery. But it's also, in a way, pointing out kind of the obvious thing that she's doing inadvertently that actually hurts her point. Uh, she's talking about, well, you know,
Co-host
what's going on now is the same
Joe Bob
exact thing that was happening when there were very unjust cases that happened in the Deep south when you were able to point at a black child and say, he did this, and then that black child would be held to account. And it's sometimes very, very ugly situation. That is exactly what's happening now. People who are experiencing what is happening
Co-host
now will then go, oh, okay, so
Joe Bob
Jim Crow wasn't that bad then, right?
Co-host
That, that's the, that's what you would do mentally. If you're believing that what AOC is
Joe Bob
saying, none of the. These are the exact same things, you look around and go, oh, okay, it's not that bad. And if what you're saying is that, well, okay, so these two time periods
Co-host
are parallel, you effectively discount the actual injustice that would have happened 50, 60
Joe Bob
years ago in this country and go,
Co-host
yeah, I guess it wasn't that bad.
Joe Bob
I guess nothing is really that bad because I'm looking around, see. Okay, hold on. The Supreme Court said that voting districts can't be racist. That that's not all that bad, but
Co-host
that's the same exact thing that was
Joe Bob
happening 50, 60 years ago.
Co-host
So, hey, what. I. I guess what, I mean, what was Martin Luther King even doing? It wasn't really that bad. Nothing. The civil rights. Nothing needed because nothing was really that bad. That's what she's doing again, inadvertently and
Joe Bob
arguing against kind of her own point, which makes me wonder, should we point this stuff out to her or should we, like, let her keep doing it in order to dig herself and deeper
Co-host
into a whole lot of different ways
Joe Bob
we can go here, trajectory wise?
Co-host
All right, again, at the risk of
Joe Bob
talking too much here, let's get.
Co-host
Let's take a Senator Cory Booker. When the libs tell you what they're
Joe Bob
going to do if they win elections, believe them. He's got seven.
Charles Bledsoe
Well, you take me to my next question because this decision has revived the debate within the Democratic Party about potentially adding more seats to the Supreme Court. Would you, Senator, support an effort to add more seats to the Supreme Court to expand the court?
Cory Booker
Well, remember, there's a corrupt shadow hanging over the Supreme Court. These. Some of these same members that are voting on decisions like this are accepting gifts from billionaires. We have RVs, lavish vacations. It's a corrupt court. The highest court in our land has the lowest ethics, ethics laws. Number two is the. The Supreme Court clearly within our power. I lead one of these pieces of legislation with Senator Whitehouse and others to give term limits to Supreme Court members. That could go a long way in curing this. The Supreme Court desperately needs reform. It is a corrupt court, and in my opinion, it is a court that needs reform. And I will continue to lead on those things.
Joe Bob
All right. I mean, there's not much to add there other than holy crap, trying to take down the institutions that built the country. Yeah.
Co-host
Sorry, libs.
Joe Bob
That you have a conservative majority on the court for the first time in forever, but deal with it. I don't know, pass laws that don't violate the Constitution. I mean, you've got eight Supreme Court justices on there. And then I think Ketanji is, she plays in the corner. I don't know what she does, but
Co-host
there are, there are, you know, eight, seven solid people.
Joe Bob
I'll throw Kagan in. Kagan, I think, is a smart justice. She's just liberal.
Co-host
Sotomayors. She, she's not as smart as general Supreme Court justices. Katanji.
Joe Bob
I'm not entirely sure she finished eating her box of crayons this morning. Whatever. I know.
Co-host
I don't know. Right.
Joe Bob
Okay. So there's that.
Co-host
All right, I have to play this.
Joe Bob
We don't have a ton of time, but I do have to play this.
Co-host
This is the, just.
Joe Bob
Well, let's try and follow along here with the logic of this. This is the mayor of Seattle, Katie Wilson. Is that her name? Cut it.
Interviewer 2
You know, legally airtight that we can just pass and it's going to plug this budget hole. Like that does not exist. There are options, and we are, you know, our team is hard at work studying those options. I think capital gains tax is absolutely on the table.
Joe Bob
Okay. She's describing how she's going to solve the spending problem by layering on an additional capital gains tax on top of her already other targeted taxes, as well as the state's new income tax, while simultaneously complaining that it's, there's, there's. It's too tough to live. It's, it's very expensive.
Co-host
I wonder, I just, I wonder what can be done in the city of
Joe Bob
Seattle and the state of Washington at large that can alleviate some of the expenses, the burdens financially placed on families. But I'm confused, so I guess we'll never know. TPT comms. The email address will be right back with.
Co-host
Take that.
Joe Bob
Tuesday, CNN did our job for us today.
Co-host
We're right back.
Joe Bob
Don't go away.
Narrator
This was a Democratic fundraising rally at a whole hotel. And outside, when all of them were coming out, there was a kid there with a bunch of puppies, and he was trying to sell them. And he was saying, come buy a Democrat puppy. Buy a Democrat puppy. Two weeks later, the Republicans held a fundraiser in the same hall, and there was the same kid with the same puppies. When they were coming out, he was saying, buy a Republican puppy. Well, one of the press, a newspaper man who said, seen him two weeks before said, hey, kid, wait a minute. Two weeks ago you were trying to sell these puppies as Democrats. What are you doing here now? Trying to sell them as Republicans. Kid says now they got their eyes open.
Joe Bob
Ah, we need another Ronald Reagan. I mean, just for the communication skills and ability. Golly. All right. Tptpca.com is the email address.
Co-host
It is Tuesday.
Joe Bob
And we like to. On Tuesday.
Co-host
Take that. Take that Tuesday. Here's what I want you to do.
Joe Bob
Go outside. It may. It's probably dark where you live, actually, depending on what time. It doesn't matter. Go outside, grab some binoculars, report back to us. TPTP USA.com look up in the air, see if you see pigs flying. Um, if you happen to know, I'm not going to disparage any certain individuals. If you happen to know anybody who has gone to the netherworlds, ask them if hell is frozen over.
Co-host
Ask them, ask them if something drastic has changed.
Joe Bob
Because I bring you, ladies and gentlemen, a take that Tuesday that may blow your mind.
Co-host
It's CNN fact checking a lib.
Joe Bob
Watch this. Cut 11.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Well, given that Tom Steyer is the person who leaked the video with me and the staffer from five years ago, he pretty clearly didn't think that I would. He pretty clearly wanted to be governor bad enough to knock me down to do it. And I apologize for that video many times because I am confident that is the case. I've been told by many people it's a Department of Energy video. It was only held by the Department of Energy. And people can follow the trail to who his campaign staffers are and understand what happened there.
Interviewer 2
Congresswoman, thank you for coming on. I should note that there, we don't have evidence that Stier leaked that video of you. If you have it, please bring it. And also, you said some pretty tough stuff about Javier Becerra. If he wants to come back on the show, he is more than welcome to do that as well.
Joe Bob
I think this is so, like, look at the look on her face. Producer Glenn, leave this on the screen a little bit. This, this look is the same look that Becerra, who was the guy at the beginning of the show who was
Co-host
like, only do questions like, how wonderful are you? That's the same look of somebody with the same mindset.
Joe Bob
Hold on.
Co-host
I came on cnn.
Joe Bob
You're not supposed to fact check me.
Co-host
You're not supposed to say, hey, you
Joe Bob
need to produce evidence.
Co-host
You're not supposed to say, hey, you said some pretty disparaging things. About a candidate that are some pretty tough reaches there. That is the face of a How dare you question the things that I make up. I made them up with full confidence and good faith that you would go
Joe Bob
along with the things that I made up. How dare you question the things that I made up.
Co-host
That is that face.
Joe Bob
At least I think. Or it's the face of a potato boiling husband thrower. That might be a little bit confusing. Her husband is not a boiling potato. She did not throw him. She threw boiling potatoes onto or at her husband.
Co-host
Allegedly.
Joe Bob
But she does have a great temperament. In order fit to be the governor of the biggest state in the nation.
Co-host
Hey, we're gonna actually leave a decent
Joe Bob
amount of time for mailbag tbt tbsa.com if you'd like to be included.
Co-host
We'll be right back after the break.
Joe Bob
Don't go away.
Landlord
What you are seeing is a property I rented out to a lady on the Section 8 program. This is how she left it. It's going to cost me over $50,000 completely destroyed. Now, on the other hand, this was a lady who was paying cash working a normal 9 to 5. Exactly how I gave her the property. She gave it back to me.
Joe Bob
Shocker. There's actually a scam going on in California. If you live in California and you happen to be watching this and you have rental property, if anybody, if you as according to a new law this year, if you have any rental property and somebody texts you, hey, do you accept section 8? If you say anything other than yes, they will sue you under the new California law.
Co-host
So whether or not you accept them, just know that that's you have to say yes.
Joe Bob
Just a little tidbit of information there for you after watching that because I mean, yeah, par for the course, that's how Section 8 people treat your house. But also if you happen to be a landlord or have any rental property, beware of that, especially in the state of California.
Co-host
All right.
Joe Bob
Hey, TPT tbsa.com is the email address. Send along your thoughts, comments, concerns, criticisms. I'm not seeing it in here so I want to make sure I bring this on the show. It was an email sent yesterday that may be the funniest slash best email that we've gotten so far on the topic of the what is it called? Oh, the video that we played our comeback clip where is asking hey, do you think you can tell if this guy is gay or straight? Paul says this. You're right, Joe Bob, you look gay as hell. When I first saw your show was surprised to Learn you were married to a female and had kids. Probably the funniest email I think we've
Co-host
gotten on this show.
Joe Bob
Paul, thank you so much for submitting that. I did email him back, say, yeah, you, you won. The email contest for the day wasn't included one. Sorry to pull up my phone, but I wanted to make sure we got that out here also from yesterday. Mark, referring to regular email. Frequent correspondent Mark says he prefers UFOs to UAPs. UAP. We're talking about the UFO release last week from Congress. UAP means unidentified aerial Phenomena. Phenomena. Another word that you would be super frustrated looking up at a dictionary in the 90s.
Co-host
There's no. It's not under F. No, it actually starts with a P. Why? Says totally stupid.
Joe Bob
Go to act a UFO is the same level as Pluto being downgraded as a planet. They did, however, call it a dwarf planet since it at least has one moon. All right, Sheldon, also frequent correspondent of the show, is actually okay with recycled jokes. We had a conversation last week about whether or not it's okay to do a new iteration, your own version of a joke. That's kind of standard, kind of like the Reagan puppy joke. He said it's okay, so it's okay to recycle jokes. There are only so many out there now. If you repeat the comedian skit, that's definitely a no. No. I would happen to agree. Hey, let's get some Internet con comments. If you follow us on Facebook, YouTube or any of the social media platforms, you can see all of these hilarious videos. This is sat 12, Glenn, I believe. Comment on the Spencer Pratt video and
Co-host
it's a little bit chaotic.
Joe Bob
Not necessarily built for tv, but that's how they look on social media. Matt says this. I'm praying for California. This dude might be able to fix it. Unfortunately, he's only run mayor of Los Angeles, more broadly speaking. Yeah, he probably do great job in California at large.
Co-host
Gotta go.
Joe Bob
Says he's 100% correct. I've always said there's no place like LA really good for everyone to see what's literally going on on every single corner. Long says absolutely true. Moved out of downtown LA in 2015 after failed leadership of the Libs continually ruining the city. Let's go to Sat 13. Ladies screaming ducks. This is an older video that we had posted on there, but there's still people commenting. Sarah says, I mean, yelling at a duck does look a little psychotic. However, there are more males than females. The male will drown the females while trying to mate. So I guess she's defending the lady yelling at the ducks, which is odd. Scott says, I think the funny farm lost one of their own and that's probably a good one to end it on. Hey, tptbusa.com is the email address. Also, leave a comment on any of our social media platforms. Just type J O B o B. Pretty much find us anywhere. We will see you tomorrow. Same time, same place. God bless America.
