It is Star Wars Day and may the fourth be with you and also with you. Live long and prosper. I think. I know you may not love Star wars as much as I do, but trust me, the parallels and the irony between the modern left and the villains in Star wars are hilarious. And this is the perfect day to talk about it. Also, the New York Times tries to spin a story about cell phones in the classroom. Good, bad, indifferent. Other. Well, the obvious is apparently obvious to everyone except the New York Times. The Kentucky Derby happened over the weekend and the winning trainer for the first time in Kentucky Derby history was a woman. And I actually think that's great averse to many of the other first time women things that the left tries to push. And last but not least, Spirit Airlines, the great big all out brawl in the sky. All that more coming up on the show. My name is Joe Bob. Thanks so much for tuning in. Show starts right now. If you've never seen Star wars and you're still planning on it, well, you've had 50 years to do so, but I guess go ahead and change the channel for the next 15 minutes. But even if you're not a super huge fan, I actually think this is really interesting. Especially when one of our favorite things to do here together is point out the hilarious irony of the libs. So that coming up first I got to remind you, TPTP USA.com is the email address and along your thoughts, comments, concerns, even criticisms. You can also leave a comment wherever it is that you happen to be watching this rav's website, Rumble, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, x all of the social media platforms. The comments work just as good as emails. And if those comments or emails are disgusting, violent, downright nasty, the chances of us reading it on the show actually are pretty high because that's the kind of thing that we like to promote here. Vile, bigoted nastiness, of course. Or at least that's what the libs say we like to do. So send along your emails tbt USA.com as a as a form of resistance to the mainstream media. And speaking of resistance, this is a word and a term that the libs love to say about themselves. They love to call themselves rebels and people resisting the evil, evil, evil conservatives. Now there are a number of clips that I could have pulled outlining the idea that the Libs want to be the resistance. But it also gave me an excuse to play my favorite cable news clip of all time, whittled down to one talking about the quote, unquote resistance. Here is the great eloquent master of words, Al Sharpton. Resist we much we must, and we will much about that. Be committed. Now, ignore the unbelievably complicated, incoherent and complex syntax and get down to the main point. Resist we much, we must. That much we will much resistance. Resistance is what the left is all about. We see it in the streets and they're no kings protests. We see it on cable news. We see it in our politicians. The left is the resistance. And in many cases, as they describe themselves as rebels and the resistance, they often wear Star Wars T shirts, costumes, because that's the whole point of the Star wars movie. They've got the Rebel alliance that are there to resist the Empire. So the libs liking to call themselves the rebels and the resistance identify deeply with the space multiple trilogies, the Star wars franchise more broadly. But the hilarity and the irony is, in reality, if you look at the plot of Star wars and the characters and the institutions that are involved in Star wars, what you realize is that the libs are actually not the resistance. They aren't the Rebel alliance, they're actually the Empire. I'd like to go through a long list of hilarious, ironic points that, that prove that the libs are not the. They're not the resistance. They're not the rebels. In reality, uh, we are. Even though they like to call themselves the Rebel alliance, resisting the tyranny of Donald Trump, in reality, they are in fact the Empire. And what we're experiencing now, unfortunately, is a small window in which they aren't in power. But aren't they really? First things first, and this is the most obvious one, diversity. The libs love to talk about how diverse they are and how accepting they are of diversity. However, in reality, I mean, this is an obvious one. They all have the same haircut, they all have the same pronouns in their email signature, they all have the same septum ring and the same opinions. They somehow have managed to proclaim diversity while actually in reality being one of the most uniform, diverse, denying people on the planet. We, the right, on the other hand, are effectively the. The cantina scene from A New Hope. There. People are all over the place. For better or worse. We have every species across the spectrum. Not species. You know what I'm talking about in Star Wars. It's a bunch of species. We have every background. Half of us are drunk all the time. All of us are willing to fight for the the actual rebellion which is saving which is the American country as a whole. The American experiment is a rebellion to historically what things have become. We're the ones fighting to be it. In effect. The Stormtroopers. Stormtroopers obviously clones, genetically identical, the same armor, the same everything that is the modern day left much more single minded Stormtroopers on the people that want to call themselves the rebel and the Resistance. They mark march in perfect lockstep every single utterance from the Lib side. Defund the police, trust the science, Medicare for All walls don't work. All of the things they wear the exact same ideological armor. The same way that the Stormtroopers don't ever question the horrible ideas from their leaders and just kind of go along to get along while claiming that they are the Resistance. The right again, like herding cats for better or worse. But who resembles the Rebels more than us? Which by the way is fascinating in the fact that they think the Libs think that they are the Resistance. They are. They are the ones who are rebelling against the Empire. But. But who actually is the Empire, right? Star Wars. The Empire is this big institution that effectively rules and controls everything. Like the Libs. Hollywood, academia, big tech, the mainstream lying media, the permanent bureaucracy in Washington D.C. most of the Fortune 500 HR departments, all controlled by the Libs. The hell kind of resistance is that? What do you need to resist against? You control all of the things in Star Wars. By the way, Palpatine effectively seized control of the Senate's ill gotten gains. He manipulated the Jedi Council, he formed the clone army and seized all of the courts. Which side of the political spectrum does that sound more like? In A New Hope? The Empire controls the Senate, the military, the galaxy's trade routes, and the Rebels are literally labeled as terrorists. Again, does that remind you of anything of the things that they. The people who say that the rebels call us the actual rebels. They're fascists, tyrants. You guys control the entirety of all the institutions. What the hell are you rebelling against? We're the ones that actually have to rebel. Which leads us to the hilarious also very close equivocation of Even though they control all the institutions, they are hilariously bad at wielding the power the Libs effectively control. Well, all the institutions that I just mentioned, they have a ton of money to maintain that control and somehow thankfully keep losing to plucky upstarts like ourselves. The actual Rebels. The Empire in Star wars spent an exorbitant amount of money, building the planet, killing super weapons over and over and over again and kept losing it to again, the plucky rebels, us flown by little X Wing flyers, farm boys, effectively speaking, the left has the same control. They have the same control of all of the institutions, all of the social media platforms minus X, all of the mainstream media, Hollywood, everything. And yet they still can't keep a meme from going viral, which again is hilarious that they think that they are quote, unquote, the Rebels. The Death Star, by the way, is taken out by a couple little X Wing fighters. And in that process, the actual Empire's commanders are too arrogant to scramble any of their fighters in time to save them in Return of the Jedi. A second, even better, bigger Death Star, which is fully operational, gets imploded by a bunch of Ewoks, which again, how emblematic is that of that is that of what's going on right now? We are a crazy coalition, the conservatives. And yes again, for better or worse, we are a crazy diverse coalition of truckers, gamers, comedians, scientists, blue collar dads were effectively han Solo, Chewie, R2D 2C, 3PO, Luke, and dudes who randomly bought lightsabers on ebay. The Libs also too, as it relates to Star wars, seem to be controlled entirely by Sith rage. Kylo Ren is a great example of that. There's a scene and one of the movies where he's more. He just keeps firing labor lasers and he's just trying to kill Obi Wan Kenobi and just can't. But his entire motivation is just like full blown rage, which. How much does that depict the current left? This is the end of democracy. We'll never have another election. No kings. We're the right. Of course, yes, very enraged when it's deserving of being enraged. But for the most part. Let's go grab some lunch, discuss things. We don't fixate on sending things into hyperdrive like the Libs often tend to do, just fueled by unending seething rage. Kind of again, like the villains in the Star wars movie, not like the Rebels and the Rebellion, the resistance that they claim to be. As a matter of fact, this is probably a good time for a. A quick break to show how peaceful and kind that the Libs are. This is cut 15. I know it's not. I know it's not entirely related to this, but I felt like it was a good time to go ahead and play that to exemplify. Oh, hold on, Glenn, before you change it, the the pure rage of libs. Also, the irony currently that we're talking about is also displayed on this lady's shirt, Make America kind again. And I believe the back of her shirt, what you're looking at right now, after having just beat a puppet of the President with her kindness stick, her shirt saying, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Come, come here, snookums. Let me give you all taste of kindness with my kindness peace beating stick. But again, just kind of goes to show you, the left is fueled by rage, just as the villains were in Star Wars. And again, all of this being consistent with the hilarious irony that they think they are, the Jedi's a little bit deeper into the weeds and we won't spend a ton of time on this. The left also lacks a father figure in many ways, which is consistent with pretty much the entire scope of the Star wars plot. Anakin Darth Vader's entire character arc flat from Attack of the Clones to Return of the Jedi, is defined by the absence of a stable father figure, leading to rage and manipulation by Palpatine. The only time he actually has any sort of redemption is when he gets reconnected with his son Luke. Same thing going on with Kylo Ren. Pretty much everybody in the Star wars franchise that is a villain has gotten there because of a lack of a father figure, which is how the left in modern day political culture effectively has gotten to their particular stance. The right, the Rebel alliance, the actual right in Star wars as well as here, values scrappy integrity, keeping their word. The right still believes in things like the Constitution, free speech. You make a promise, you keep that promise. The Empire's vision, as is the left's, is do as I say or get canceled. Also too, the left has to lie to people in order to get them all fired up to act in any way, shape or form, which is the same thing that the Empire had to do in Star Wars. I mean, if you look at it in reality, and I know we're getting into the weeds just a little bit, Queen Amidala, all she wanted to do was rule Naboo. She was fighting for local control. Same thing with Princess Leia in Alderaan. She just wanted to restore the sovereignty of individual planets, which again, is a very conservative thing. All of this couched in the Libs thinking that they are the rebels and they are the resistance, when in reality, no, no, they're actually the Empire. A little bit pressed for time, so we'll skip a couple more of these examples, but know that they go on and on and on and on. But the main crux of this lies in the overall instinct of both sides. In both the Star wars analogy and in the modern political political landscape. The rebels, as in Star wars, as on the right now, would like to fix things. That's our basic instincts. How can we make, in the case of Star wars, you know, the actual overall empire. And I'm not talking about the Empire, but I'm talking about the geographical context, multi planetary system. How can we make this all better on the right? Same thing. What's going on in our country? How can we make it better? How can we discuss amongst ourselves ways to improve the country? Revitalizing individualism, expanding freedom? How can we do that on the left, the political left in American culture and as it is in Star wars, their instinct seems to be how do we make sure that nobody questions our power and nobody regains any sort of power of their own again, which again is straight out of the Empire Imperial handbook in Star wars and the modern political left. All of this is to say that on today, May 4, Star Wars Day, it is hilarious, that lives both in the context of the Star wars analogy, but also just in general, think that they are the resistance. They in many ways hold all of the power and wield it terribly. We, on the other hand, the conservative right, are a mis, mishmash of people who don't exactly think entirely the same. We have a same core tenets, hopefully we look different, we come from different backgrounds, but we are all collected together to rebelling against the actual Empire, which is the left, which controls and dominates pretty much every institution right now. We kind of seem to have an edge and that's good. But remember, the Empire Strikes Back is the second movie, or fifth if you're counting that way. We don't do that here. It's the second movie and at the end of the day, hopefully the actual rebels and the actual resistance, which remember, is America at its core, will win the day. TBT tbusa.com I know we just talked a lot about Star wars, but again, I think it's relevant to the context of the libs trying to proclaim themselves as the resistance and as the rebels. But let us know your thoughts. TBT tbsa.com I am a big Star wars fan. Producer Glenn is a Star Trek fan. You can also weigh in on why Star wars is better or why you're wrong and think that Star Trek is better. But again, remember, on this May the fourth live long and prosper peace sign, I think that should, that should get everybody good and angry. Tbt. Com is the email address. We will be right back after the break with lots of news headlines around the day. Spirit Airlines is no more. The great big brawl in the sky. The New York Times sucks. But what else is new in the Kentucky Derby? Jockey has some actual good advice. Don't be back. Don't go away. We'll be right back.

In the last 50 years, over $1.2 trillion of aid money has has been poured into Africa, more than the entire GDP of countries like Spain, Australia or South Korea. When all of this began, just 11% of Africa lived in poverty. But by the 1990s, after floods of money and global campaigns, that number had actually increased to 66%. And today it stands at 38%, over three times higher than when the aid of program started. In fact, back in the 1950s, the average Western European was just five times richer than the average African. Now the gap has more than doubled to 13 times. Today, over half of all Africans still live on less than $5.50 a day and nearly 600 million people don't have access to electricity.

It appears, it appears. I'm going to take a shot in the dark here that there's a cultural problem instead of a help problem. I don't, I'm just, I'm just, just, just thinking out loud. Maybe I'm wrong. There's a Sam Kinison bit where he's talking about Sam Kinison, a older comedian, belief from the 70s, possibly even the 80s. But he had this whole bit about sending food to African nations. And he talked about the expense of having to drive food all the way out here and help and aid all the way out to the remote parts of Africa where people lived. And the joke was then him screaming, say, why don't you move where the food is? This is sand. Food doesn't grow here. Maybe if you adapted to the modern ways of living, we wouldn't have to send food here. Oh, man, it's, it says again, it's as if there's, it's as if culture does make a difference. I know, Shocking, but also kind of obvious. Hey, when there's lots of points to get to around the news of the day, which there is today, we like to do what's called get to the point. Get to the point.

All right, well, the New York Times, I think, shocker, I don't know what is going on here if they're trying to mislead people but the headline did school cell phone bans work? New study finds mixed results. Now I'm going to lay out the obvious here is yes, it does work. Having kids not have their phone in schools is an objective success for multiple metrics. Now where the New York Times I believe after reading this article falls short is they don't. It's not a cure all. Read some of the summary of it. A major new study, largest of its kind, found that strict school cell phone bans used locking pouches significantly reduced student device uses during the day. Duh. Yeah. If you hold on, hold on. If you take away the kids phones, they're not going to use their phones. Shocking revelation. Thank you New York Times. But according to this new study has not led to improved test scores and initially caused higher suspension rates in some schools. Therefore who knows, maybe it's a good thing, maybe it's a bad thing. Now the New York Times to their credit go on to list all of the good things. Teachers reported far fewer classroom disruptions after the bans were implemented but they effectively couched this entire article in well, taking the cell phones away haven't immediately led to the uprise in the uprise the, the rise in test scores and or any sort of benefits academically or at least not massive improved test scores. Yeah, well it's not a cure all. Like this isn't a magic pill to say that ah, we don't really know if the students are better off or worse off. No, they're better off. Take away the stinking phones especially if it's a school that I'm paying for government schools. No, it's an objective good. Now does that mean that that objective good immediately fixes all of the problems? No, that's not how anything works. I mean there's several analogies that can be used here but bottom line is to say that eh, we're kind of unsure. It's kind of mixed results because well, it hasn't clearly led to improved test scores and you know there's some higher suspension rates if schools 1 the fact that schools are still suspending kids I think is a good thing. Honestly, I think probably more kids need to be suspended. Especially the mouthiness on some of these kids nowadays probably, probably pro suspending kids from schools if they deserve to be suspended. But the fact that they're, they're effectively making the argument or at least implying that well test scores haven't immediately risen. So we don't exactly know the whole test score. There are intangibles that cannot be measured. But to say that there's any ambiguity on whether or not taking kids cell phones away in the classroom is, is. It's good. Bad, who knows? Is stupid. This study, which I think was done like by multiple universities, Stanford, Duke, University of Pennsylvania, University of Michigan, track like 20,000 students over two academic years. So big study. But the bottom line is this is one of those things is obvious. We don't need to. The effects will be felt rather than seen. Statistically, getting kids off of their phones and having them engage with people in real life is an objective good. Let's stop trying to pretend that mixed results, I don't know, who knows. Speaking of mixed results, there's no, not a good way to mixed results transition. This uh, there are no mixed results actually in Spirit Airlines. Now this you, you, you probably heard over the weekend the Spirit Airlines shut down. Not trying to bury the lead here, but why? Well, in part at least, is because the US Government got in the way from Bite Breitbart. Shame on you. This is a headline from a while back, I believe. Elizabeth Warren blasts blasted for praising. Oh, sorry, no, shame on you was the actual phrase being used at the time when she stopped this merger or at least voted to stop it. Elizabeth Warren blasted for praise praising blockage of murder merger that may have saved Spirit Airlines. We've got that graphic up here. Senator Elizabeth Warren in March of last year. Sorry, two years ago, March of 2024, says she warned for months the JetBlue Spirit Airlines merger would have led to fewer flights at higher fares. And basically the Biden administration then blocked the merger of Spirit and JetBlue. Fast forward two years, Spirit is no longer an airline. I would be curious any, any of you flying Spirit over the weekend? Tptvsa.com I'd love to hear the stories. I don't. I honest to God don't know what that would be like. Like, oh, I, I have a flight that's scheduled for 3pm we're at the airport, it's noon and the airline no longer exists. Like, what do you go to the help desk? Like, what do people do? What did you do? Well, ask the help. Well, help, they're unemployed too. The airline doesn't exist anymore. What do you do? I'm not trying to make light of people into their travel plans blown up. But I honestly, I find it interesting to. Has this happened before? Like the day that flights were scheduled? Like, I don't know, did Pan Am like ramp down flights when they decided to no longer be in business or ceased to be in business. I don't know. TBD tbsa.com if you have any insight into that, hopefully. Well, I would almost guarantee that you weren't flying spirit if you ended up at the Kentucky Derby, which has become its own thing. Thing. The Kentucky Derby. I think I like the Kentucky Derby. I like watching the Kentucky Derby. But it has become like this. I am an elite posh sociolite and I'm showing you that I'm elite and a posh social socialite by going to the Kentucky Derby. I don't. I think like Joe Scarborough was at the Kentucky Derby and was talking about it on PMS now or whatever his show or whatever the channel is that his show is on. And to me I just gave you the look like I like the tradition. I'm a big fan of tradition. I'm a big fan of stuff like the Kentucky Derby has been going on for over a hundred years and I just don't like the fact that it's now effectively been taken over by people who just want to post pictures on Instagram in their funny hat. Oh, I was there. Yeah. Focus on the whole tradition component. Anyways, story we teased at the beginning. Well, NBC. NBC posts largest Kentucky Derby audience ever. 19.6 million viewers. I was watching live. Two things that I took away. One, it's the first female trainer to ever win the Kentucky Derby. And I actually think that's awesome. I think that's great. You know why? Because the standards weren't lowered for. For her to become the first female trainer. In other words, she actually achieved the thing worth of achieving. And therefore because there's no DEI motive here, I think that's fantastic. I don't generally particularly care about any of this stuff, especially because it's usually the view of this story stuff is usually poisoned by the whole DEI thing. Oh, the first transsexual, gay, lesbian, immigrant, black person is now the chief whatever of who's it. What's. I hate that stuff because usually the only thing that they're looking at here is, well, it's the first this minority to do this in this case of the. So they lower the standards in order to get that. Because the goal is getting the first whatever. In the case of the Kentucky Derby, nobody made their horse run less fast so that they could have the first woman trainer know the first woman trainer, Sherry Devoe, I think is her name. Yeah. Had to get there the hard way, the right way, the correct way, the meritocratic way, which is fantastic. I think that's great. Second and I looked, I looked and looked and looked and looked. I could not find this. But I, I guarantee you it happened. The interview with the jockey immediately after the race, I was watching it live. Some of you may have also believe he and his family immigrated here from Puerto Rico. And the interviewer asked him what's a word of advice that you would give to people grew up in your circumstances in Puerto Rico. And the first thing, the couple things he said I think was love God and learn English, which is great. I again I will look. I look again today. I could not for the life of me find that clip. I just, I know it happened. I watched it live. If we do find it, I'll, I'll play it tomorrow because I think it was just, it was that great. But maybe there's a reason I couldn't find that clip but trust me, I know it happened. And if you were there or if you were watching to you probably also would have seen it. Producer GLENN because we're doing a short for time here, let's go through this one because I do, I want to, I want to give the World cup tickets full heft and maybe we'll get to that tomorrow. But now the Associated Press Astronomers believe they've detected an atmosphere around a tiny icy world beyond Pluto. In other words, the libs are going to say that I just blame the libs for this because I am still upset that Pluto was taken away from us as a planet. They may redesignate Pluto as a planet. It may re identify as a planet so that this new atmospheric tiny ice world can also possibly be designated as a planet. Astronomers have detected a very thin atmosphere around a tiny icy world beyond Pluto marking the smallest in the solar system yet found to have global atmosphere bound by gravity. We don't get to there's a bunch of different nuance they it's what's what's the title that the planet's name or this icy world's name rivals like the Alphabet community the MM my W2GL to L I don't know plan's name is 612-533-Podcastheses 2002-XV93 which I think is a sexuality of some kind but I can't pinpoint what it is exactly. Roughly 300 miles across. Bottom line is give us Pluto back. That is my that is my crusade. I was mad Pluto was a planet when I was a kid and it is a planet no more. And I'm still upset about it. And maybe the discovery of this icy world beyond Pluto will give Pluto its planet ness back, will be able to identify as a planet as it once was. Hey, got to stop there. Tptpsa.com is the email address official business? I hate to say that we're going to be mocking Governor Gavin Newsom quite a bit, but that's coming up next right after the break. Don't go away.

So the same party that funded The KKK in 1860 caught funding the KKK in 2026. Tell me about the party switch again. While you're typing that out, it's important to point out that the KKK is a white supremacist organization whose goal is to suppress black Americans and reverse reconstruction policies. Right? So it's almost as if the very party that incentivizes parental absence in the home has rendered a large portion of our small population to be dependent on the government for the past 65 years. Are the same, same emperor just in different clothes. But hey, I'm just a self hating black conservative. Am I right?
Main Host
Yeah. Anti Tom if I've ever seen one. That's wow. But in all seriousness, that's as on point as on point gets lives there. There's a guy running. Was it Massachusetts? That Senator Planter? Senate candidate Planter that accidentally got a Nazi tattoo when he was in the military. But you know I it happens to the best of us. You know, we're just out with our friends somewhere in Europe and oh hey, what if we get Nachi tattoos? I hate when that happens. I know several people it's happened to. They're all libs who want the degradation of the black family. But you know it's just kind of a. It's just what we talk more about that guy later. But it really is true. They the libs are the ones libs and I who even call them libs necessarily. The American left was the side of the clan and a Bunch of the other hate groups. And like we recently found out, the SPLC funding several of these folks up till now. I don't know all that. I love that video. That's great. Hey, when it's official business, we. Well, we have to get to official business. All right. I want to get to as many as we possibly can. Governor Newsom, Governor Hairspray of California coming in for a big kick. And, yeah, you know, we just hate to see that, uh, he was on Bill Maher show on HBO over the weekend or, sorry, last Friday. And Bill Maher, who I disagree with on a number of different things, although he is intellectually honest, at least to my understanding, and doesn't compromise on his own intellectual honesty, hits the libs where it hurts. Hit Governor Newsom on his biggest faux pas as a person in statewide elected office for the last 15 years. Cut six.

Well, fourth largest economy. Let's go.
Well, are they going to say good about gas prices? Are they going to say good about how high the rents are? People. So many people. I mean, there's a whole litany. I mean, the train, Gavin, you got to get rid of the train.
The train.
I say this as a friend. You got to let that train go. Let the train go. It's up to $231 billion.

That's not.

That's just not. It's not. We're doing. We're doing $119 million segment. We got it back on track. It goes back three administrations. I inherited a mess. We put it back on track. All the environmental work is behind us. We're actually laying the track. All the legal litigation, all the land issues are all behind us. We're actually making this project work.

This is like the Libs nationwide continuing to fight for dudes in women's sports. It is entirely impossible. Unpopular. It is impossible. The train in California. And for some reason, just can't. For some reason bring himself to go. Yeah, this was a mistake. I inherited a mess from the administration that I was a part of. He was lieutenant governor for eight years before he was the current governor. But gosh darn it, these things just happen. They just befall. Who knows why or how or who. Now, this next clip is of Governor Newsom over the weekend, was making the rounds. Some people were alleging that Governor Newsom may have been participating in the Colombian nose candy, as some may call it. And somebody, I don't know who. Well, producer Glenn tells me that somebody edited that little possibly drug induced screed onto a picture of the San Francisco streets. Now I for one am not willing to admit that this is an edited piece of video. I don't know for a fact. Again, the producers on the show all say this is edited. I for one think that this is totally plausible. Cut 7 It's interesting.

We I've been on a journey like most people, feeling great, stressed and doubtful the last two days. I don't know what it is. I think it's maybe the dust settling aftermath. yeah, I don't think that's edited. I think that's 100% a real video. And then that homeless drug addict finished up and concluded his little screed with and anyways, can I have a dollar? No. No you can't. Wow, that's all the time. It's Governor, Governor Newsom coming in for a kick. And you know we all hate to see that. TBT tbsa.com is the email address. How my wife thinks money works.
Joe Bob
You're gonna be so proud of me.
Main Host
Why? I just made us 150 bucks.
Joe Bob
Oh, made some Amazon returns.

Didn't you just spend $300 on Amazon yesterday?
Joe Bob
Yeah, and then I returned some of

it and made 150 bucks today. Yeah, but puja, if you spend $300 and return 150.
Joe Bob
Never mind.
Main Host
You don't get it. I need somebody how my wife thinks money works.
Joe Bob
How do I look?
Main Host
Good. How much is it?
Caller or Guest

Joe Bob
Oh, it's okay. I have cash.
Caller or Guest
Okay, but it's still 100 bucks.
Main Host
Reza.
Joe Bob
Cash is already out of the bank account, so it's basically free money at this point.

I hate that. Mostly because of how true it is. Not included in this particular collection of wives and their relationship to money is going to target and wanting, I don't know, a new vacuum. Vacuums are not cheap. And having a coupon for said vacuum and saving 20% on the $500 vacuum and then saying, I saved a hundred dollars. No, you spent $400. You didn't save any money. Saving money is not getting the new vacuum. I laugh so that I don't cry. All right, speaking of crying, it's time to Mondays become quickly becoming one of my favorite zingers. It's Meltdown Monday.

It's Meltdown Monday. Meltdown Monday. Happy Meltdown Monday today.

You know, some people think that that video is an AI version of a bunch of libs with blue hair. But much like the Governor Newsom video, I don't think it is. I think that was an actual real life clip of a bunch of libs because that's how they look and scream. For Meltdown Monday, I bring you the president, president, CEO, the top. The top gal over at one of the country's most powerful teachers unions, who, again, look after the teachers and not the students and don't actually care about education. They just care about how much more money can we get. And I'm not taking a shot at government school teachers. I'm taking a shot at your freaking unions. And especially if you're watching this show, probably not your unions, because the Supreme Court said, hey, you don't have to participate in this anymore. Which is great. Get out of there, because this is what could happen to you. This is Randy Weingarten. Remember the person that was colluding with the CDC to keep schools closed but keep the money rolling in, that person melting down on a Monday.

If we believe in possibility, if we believe in the promise of America, if we believe in strengthening public education, if we believe in public universities, if we believe that working people should have a right in this country to live and one job is enough, and they have A dignified retirement and real health care. If we believe in all of that, will we go back to our schools and our locals and make that clear to our members?

You know, this actually strikes me as. She got all the talking points right now. Again, they're wrong, but at least she. She's like, hitting the lib nail on the head when it comes to what they talk about and what they advocate for. But I think you, as well as I noticed the frantic Governor Newsom style hand gestures, body language, move over shaking. We have to. I think, honestly, this comes out of the libs trying to find a way to be more relatable, because, remember, their ideas are so bad that nobody buys into them, so that instead they have to try and trick people into thinking that they're, I don't know, more passionate, more genuine, more concerned about your everyday, actual life. For example, several lib consultants, for whatever reason, did a bunch of polling and found that one of the reasons that, well, okay, this is not an actual reason, but one of the. This is. This is. Correlation does not equal causation. They were like, hey, you know why people like Joe Rogan? I think it's because he says the F word a lot that it feels. It feels. It feels like a. Like a conversation you would have with your friend at. At a backyard barbecue. And yes, that is technically true, but Joe Rogan also is just a genuine person. At least it seems like. Right. Like, I disagree with a lot, especially recently, of what Joe Rogan says, but I don't think he's lying to me. That's the missing piece, right? Libs are trying to effectively say, hey, how can we lie to people but make it feel genuine and feel authentic. I know several people who try not to lie. People, even if I disagree, use lots of swears. Maybe that's part of it. And so you've noticed a drastic uptick. The New York Times did a story on this, and they had a graph, too. Just like the massive steepness of the uptick of libs using bad words. Anyways, that's effectively what I think Randy Weingarten is doing here. Hold on. I. I can't swear here because this is a public forum, and that would. That'd be a bad look. Okay, I know what can convey my authenticity and my genuine motive. I know. Shaking frantically. Cause no, this is not how nobody talks like this. This is. This is how an insane person at a mental facility tries to sneak in there. I need it. I. It's very much like a Kramer and Jerry Seinfeld on steroids, you know, interestingly enough, on more substances. I don't know. I don't know what this makes me, but I gain a little bit of hope from this sort of thing. Hope in the sense of they can't figure it out. They cannot realize that their policies are so bad that nobody believes it that they have to synthesize ways to try and get engagement when in reality that's not going to work. It's never going to work. It didn't work for Kamala Harris. It just doesn't work for lib politicians and lib public figures. And the fact that they can't figure that out, I think as a cynical political, practical elections guy, I think that's a good thing. Good. Go try shake, try dropping f bombs. Try doing all the things. Yes. Does it degrade the culture and am I a big fan of that? No. And if it means that people consider continue to see past the disingenuous attempts to be genuine, I don't know. Can't say I complain too. Can complain too much. All right. Hey. TBT tbsa.com is the email we'll get to some of your mailbag questions, comments, concerns. Coming up after the break. Don't go away. The book I read is called 1984 War. It's about a guy who thinks the government is lying to him. Spoiler. He's right. There are cameras everywhere.

At the risk of one that's just that's accurate and true. And I'm glad the otherwise pretty woke reading Rainbow hit the nail on the head right there. You know, I'm producer Glenn, take a note down. We got to talk about Animal Farm, the George Orwell book that is being is a movie now. And the not goodness of that not goodness, the terribleness. It's not what Animal Farm was ever. It Interestingly enough, reflects 1984 in the production of Animal Farm. Animal Farm. We'll talk about that later on in the week. But it's actually very interesting to your mailbag. Tptpsa.com let's see. Mark, really enjoyed the comments about the tampons in the men's bathroom. I think Friday I pulled up a picture of female feminine hygiene products, let's use that terminology in the bathroom of men's bathrooms in Seattle, which was crazy. I then suggested, you know, trying to be the optimist. What if I had a nosebleed? Mark adequately accurately points out. Would you really walk out of the men's bathroom with one of those in your nose? Correct, Mark, I would not. 100%. Um, let's see. Richard says this, talking about gas prices. As much as Trump tries to say we've won the war, gas prices say otherwise. I say there's no good reason for the high gas prices. Finish it up. Get, get done one way or another. Big longer discussion. Richard, I do, I do genuinely think a bunch of polls came out over the weekend that that is going to be the biggest issue politically, domestically speaking, is the gas prices. Holy cow, they are high in there. High all over the place. But maybe we can discuss that a little bit more at length later on into the week. Let's see. Oh, I don't have time to get to the bigger, longer ones. I should leave more time. Robert has a hilarious message on racism. And Pamela says she's voting for stupid effectively. Maybe we'll read some of those tomorrow. TBT tbsa.com is the email address. We're here all week. We're not traveling. We're not doing anything crazy the entire week, which I feel like is one of the first in a while. Maybe, maybe it was just last week, but we'll be here all week. TBT tbsa.com, we'll see you tomorrow, same time, same place. God bless America.
