This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human Obama is back. The former president putting himself right in the center of all the lib politics. What is his plan and can he succeed? Also, probably the libs single worst nightmare when it comes to a story in which they hate literally every single component of it. Secretary Rubio possibly getting a new job as the White House press secretary actually did pretty fantastic. And there was one answer that he had in there that was so perfect we have to bring it to you. And maybe reality TV stars just make the best politicians, as evidenced by last night's mayoral debate in Los Angeles. All that more coming up on the show today. My name is Joe. Bob. Thanks so much for tuning in. Show starts right now. Generally speaking, former presidents who are termed out and can't run for office again kind of just fade into obscurity. And generally speaking, that that's a good thing. President Barack Obama is not doing that. He is making his presence known. And what is the actual plan and can he possibly succeed? We'll talk about it. But first I Gotta remind you, TPTP USA.com is the email address if you want to send along your thoughts, comments, concerns, even criticisms, those are all welcome. Tptpusa.com youm can also leave a comment wherever it is that you're watching this on any of the social media platforms. We're actually doing crazy well on all the social media platforms, YouTube, Facebook, X Rumble, all of them, tptbc.com or leave a comment, any of those places. And if your comment is gross, disgusting, vile and downright nasty, the chances of us reading it on the show actually increase substantially. Speaking about speaking of vile and nasty political behavior, burn. Barack Obama has put himself back on the scene in light of the opening of his brutalist monstrosity in Chicago that he calls a library. He's making the rounds, but as he does so promoting the opening of his library in which people need an ID to get in, which is of course racist. Wow. Tangent on tangent on tangent, what were we talking about? What he's doing in the public eye is clear and evident to anybody paying attention to that. He's very much trying to maneuver and or manipulate his party going into not only the midterms, but the 2028 presidential election. He sat down with Stephen Colbert. We talked briefly about it yesterday, but we got a lot of clips to play you to try and decipher what is he doing and can his plan succeed as a former president who, who really has no other political ability going forward? Well, first I want to play this Clip that everybody should be rolling their eyes about of Barack Obama doing the very thing that Karl Marx said works. Hey, go ahead and accuse your enemy of what you were doing to create confusion here. Is President Obama doing just that? Talking about criminalizing the justice system or using the justice system to criminalize your political opponents? I should say cut 15.
Barack Obama
The White House shouldn't be able to direct the Attorney General to go around prosecuting whoever the president wants prosecute.
Stephen Colbert
Technically, it's under the executive branch. The norm is that it's independent.
Barack Obama
The norm. The idea is that the Attorney General is the people's lawyer. It's not the President's consigliere.
Producer Glenn
Right.
Stephen Colbert
Even when it's Bobby Kennedy, it's Bobby Kennedy.
Barack Obama
And so two of the core principles of a democracy. We can survive a lot. Bad policy, funky elections. There's a bunch of stuff that we can overcome. We can't overcome the politicization of the criminal justice system, the awesome power of the state. You can't have a situation in which whoever's in charge of the government starts using that to go after their political enemies.
Joe Bob
Several things to get started. One, interestingly enough, kudos. But also, I know it was a joke, but also, it's a very serious issue that it's happened before, probably on their side of the political aisle. Stephen Colbert brought up Bobby Kennedy. Yeah. Remember when the President's brother was the Attorney General. But hold on. These gotta be totally separate institutions, except for when libs are in power in which they appoint literally their closest family member to the position that cannot be politicized according to President Obama. Second thing he said that I'd like to hit on before we get to the glaringly obvious one is we can overcome a lot. That is true to an extent. In a way, I guess we can overcome bad policy. But he also said we can overcome funky elections. Actually, President Obama. That's the only thing we can't overcome. I've said this a number of times on this show. The only thing that stabilizes this republic that we have is belief in the elections. Oh, you know, a bunch of illegals came into the country and we don't require IDs to vote. So these elections might get a little bit funky. No, that actually, we cannot overcome that. Trying to throw out things. We've been through a lot. We can. We can power through it. That is one of the things. One of the two examples that he gave is one of the things that we absolutely cannot. People need to believe in the elections, whether or not they like the outcome if nobody believes in the integrity of that election, the country's doomed. That is not something to be overcome. It's not just funky elections. And to the last and most obvious point, the hilarious irony, the Karl Marx approach of accuse your enemy of that which you are doing. We cannot weaponize the political, the justice system for political purposes. Graphic to producer Glenn. Oh, oh, this, oh, this must be news to I, I shoot, we can't do it. And also I recognize that this is not when Obama was in power, but to say that he wasn't had having a pinpoint into what Eric Holder was doing as the Attorney General is hilarious. Lest I forget, Russiagate, where President Obama directed the independent agencies to spy on his biggest political adversary. So, yeah, thank you, President Obama for that warning of not politicizing the justice system. Now, I will say, I hope we don't, I hope that any of the, the actions that President Trump has taken are in earnest saying, hey, this actually looks illegal. We should look into it. That's a, that's of course within the purview of the President. But to say as a lib that, well, this is only happening on one side is freaking hilarious. Now, would like to get into what he's actually doing. What is President Obama's sole aim? Doing this press tour. Because yes, he's trying to promote his library and yes, you have to buy tickets and show an id, which is racist and he'll probably make money on it. But actually that's not what he's doing. He's making the rounds because he sees his own party kind of wavering and he's trying to insert himself. Now, one question that was asked, you know, among many, I thought was the most pertinent and interestingly enough, the question itself from Stephen Colbert, the soon to be former late night host, actually was very telling in how not only Obama or Colbert look at the political system as it stands, but, but the complete and utter swing and miss when it comes to identifying what it is that they actually are. That'll make sense in just a second. This is cut 16.
Stephen Colbert
The senator is nonpartisan, but you yourself are still a member of the Democratic Party. There's a debate on what the direction of the Democratic Party should be. It looks like it's going to be a fairly good midterm election for the Democrats chance to take the House, if not the Senate. But there's a big debate on what the leadership would be like going forward. Basically, it's liberals versus the left to be very reductive about it, as my children say. To me, dad, you're liberal, we're leftists because they're like, liberals are people who think things should basically stay the same. You know what I mean? And the next generation really wants things to change. So you have great leaders. You have people like Abigail Spanberger and Mikey Sherrill, very centrist. But then you have further left like AOC or Zoran Mamdani. What do you, what direction do you think would be best for this party to actually achieve change?
Joe Bob
As you can probably tell, there was a lot there. First, of which he does identify, it is liberals versus leftists. The problem is, I don't think he knows where that line actually is. Why is he raising leftists as kids in his home? And where does that line extend to? I mean, yes, Bill Maher is a great example. Stephen Colbert doesn't know where this line is, but Bill Maher is a great example of the left is leftists versus the actual liberals. Second thing he says, well, us liberals, not leftists, want to have things stay the same. We, we don't want things to change. Oh, you mean like conserving it? Like, like something that conservatives would do? Conserve the thing that we don't want to change from you liberal freaks trying to push your progressivism. Holy cow, dude, read the room. Understand what it is that you're saying. Jeez. And then, and then, as you probably also noticed, you know centrists like Abigail Spanberger, you know, the lady who's defending democracy by taking away a bunch of conservative seats because she doesn't want them to win. The very, very centrist down the road. Screw you, federal government. In your immigration services. We now are no longer cooperating. If that is a centrist, I, I sure. Okay. Again, I think Stephen Colbert's view of what that line is and where it is is incredibly skewed. Centrist. There's several things we could also pick apart, but I'm looking at the time. I really want to make sure we get on to the rest of this. Obama had a two part answer. And I want to play you both of those, which again can highlight and illuminates what, what I think he's actually trying to do. The first part of his answer is cut 17.
Barack Obama
You're right. The presidential center is nonpartisan. And the reason I want to mention that is because I'm worried about the Republican Party, not just the Democratic Party. When I was president, people would ask me, what change would you like to see in Washington? I'd say, I'd love a loyal opposition. I love a Republican Party. That was conservative in some ways that didn't agree with me on a whole bunch of stuff, but believed in rule of law and judicial independence and empirical evidence and science and wasn't constantly tapping into our worst impulses.
Joe Bob
One, I think he's taking notes from Gavin Newsom's hand gestures just a little bit, trying to make it his own and make it a little bit cooler. Second, I have no proof of this, but it could be that the former President is watching this show. Last Tuesday I gave a speech at the University of Idaho basically outlining the fact that, hey, remember when libs used to be normal? It would be great to have that back. I would rather have a legislative branch or an executive, really any branch of the government be between normal people who just happen to be liberal and conservatives. But that's not what it is. Currently, I've been saying this for months. The left, the lib party, has gone nuts. I would love to have discussions, honest, genuine good faith discussions with people who, yes, may see the social system needs to be expanded or whatever it is that their issue is, but at the same time they still believe in the American experiment. They still love this country. That is not what the current left is. I don't, I can't prove this in any way, shape or form, but is the President watching this show and taking my talking points, running it through the Karl Marx filter of accuse your enemy of what you're doing to create confusion and spitting it out on Stephen Colbert show. Holy cow. But to really nail down what he's doing, I think it ties into this last clip. This is what the President said in part of a two part answer when he's talking about AOC and ZAM, Danny Hormani, whatever the NYC mayors named the Islamic Ugandan communist. Here's his answer. Cut 18.
Barack Obama
With respect to Democrats, I'm not as worried about this so called rift between the left and liberals as you describe it. There are a bunch of things that we agree on and it's really more of a question of all right, what are the specific things that we have to do? You look at somebody like Mondami, who I think is an extraordinary talent, he wants people to be able to afford housing in New York. Well, you know, I would assume liberals in New York want the same thing. And so I don't worry as much about some of these, these issues within the Democratic Party. What I'm more interested in for Democrats is do you know how to just talk to regular people like we're not in a college seminar?
Joe Bob
And there it is that is exactly what he is pushing for. And as evidenced by this answer, Barack Obama is trying to thread the needle between the ultra crazy leftists and just the still crazy but somewhat normal liberals. Now, I can also guarantee you that he loves what Mamzan Dorhani is doing in New York City. He loves it and but also recognizes the practicality of the electability of that type of stance. What he's trying to do is bridge the gap between the crazy leftists and just the kind of crazy libs. What he's also trying to do is figure out where that line is. He wants to push it as far as he can to the extreme leftist while still being electable in this country. That is his entire goal. He's trying to broker the future for the left side of the political spectrum in this country. Now, if I'm being optimistic about it, which is why you come, it's late, it's later in the evening, you don't want to go to bed super angry and pessimistic. We want to have some optimism here. What I hope is that his attempt to do that proves us right. For what the last 15 years we've been saying Obama is a radical globalist. And I believe that to be true as he inserts himself into the upcoming political elections and the political future of his own party. What I think he's going to do is continue pushing as far as he possibly can to the left while still remaining electable, but effectively proving all of us who've been warning about him for the last 20 years absolutely correct and vindicated. And in case you need more proof of the type of guy that Barack Obama actually is, here's a clip that his foundation put out of him. And wacko Mark Hamill promoting the Obama brutalist monstrosity of a Library on May 4th. This is cut 19, Happy Star Wars
Barack Obama
Day, from the Obama Presidential Center.
Joe Bob
I have a very good feeling about this.
Barack Obama
Okay, a young person born into ordinary circumstances, but restless, unsatisfied, a kid with big dreams, a bit of a rebel.

I like where this is going.

blowing up a giant space laser. How is Mark Hamill such a freaking terrible actor? I honest to God, like, I don't. Is that, like, was that, like, a prerequisite for all of the Star wars movies? Like, okay, the original three had Mark Hamill. What can we do to make the next three have a terrible. Okay, cool. Hayden Christensen. Sorry, he came in for a kick and there was no need for that, but it kind of is true. Anyway, he terrible actor, but Barack Obama willingly willfully brought on Mark Hamill to help promote his story. Now what kind of person is Mark Hamill and did the Obama and the Obama foundation know about it? The Obama Did Obama and the Obama foundation know about it? Well, here's the kind of person he is. Earlier today or might've been late last night Mark Hamill posted this extremely disgusting Blue sky post. As you can see and sorry if this is offensive, but we need to show how depraved these people are. Is President Trump in a grave with the text? If only. And he wrote his own little crap about it? Take it down. That's that you get the picture. The the bottom line is Barack Obama clearly is as far left as we all have been warning about and is just trying to find where that line is. Being as far left as he possibly could be, but also remaining electable. If he finds out I if he finds the line I, you know, remains to be seen. But I'm optimistic that he will prove all of us right in showing his real colors and I don't know, giving us somewhat of an advantage at least I hope maybe I'm being overly optimistic. Let me know tptbusa.com Am I being too much of a rosy eyed us actually could be great. He might actually step in or you know, is it very bad? Is Barack Obama, who still is, I think the most popular lib in the country, going to actually wield some power that will be damaging to us? I I again I choose to think that he will be damaging to his own side because of what he actually believes, but I could be wrong. TPTP USA.com or leave a comment wherever it is that you happen to be watching this. We'll be right back with a bunch of interesting stories and get to the point. Don't go away. We'll be right back after the break.

Really? This is why this organization will not win a Super bowl in my lifetime. It's a perfect example why direct direct democracy doesn't work. I like you obviously have to have some sort of representative, but that's why we have a representative republic instead of a direct democracy. Case in point. And I recognize we're talking about football here. How Freaking wrong. Some people can be every single one of those videos and every single one of those players in that clip is now like the franchise star of that team or was in case they got traded. Not sure where Justin Jefferson is at right now. I think he's still on the Vikings. Yeah, sometimes people are unbelievably wrong, which is why you probably need to be represented as opposed to direct democracy, which is why the libs are over trying to overthrow the representative component and trying to do a direct democracy, because they know how dumb people can be. All right. Hey, when there's lots of points to get to, we are contractually obligated, legally obligated at the point of. Of jail time probably to get to the point. Get to the point, get to the point. Generally speaking, when you see headlines like this, you can probably extrapolate from it that conservative can just be swapped out with the word true. This from the New York Times. Florida creates a more conservative, more conservative U.S. history course to rival the AP. Florida's created a new advanced U.S. history course designed as a quote unquote, more conservative alternative to the College board Advancement Placement U.S. history Program. The course emphasizes the Protestant faith of the nation's founders, portrays the United States Constitution as an anti slavery document, and recommends textbooks explicitly written to build patriotism. So in other words, the conservative slant is just true. Like are we gonna argue that the Christian faith of the founding Fathers. Ah, it was just a kind of an insignificant thing. It just. It wasn't really that impact. No, it was like kind of the whole thing. Right. Like it was kind of the driving force behind the Declaration of Independence and then the subsequent quant Constitution of the United States. We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal and endowed with certain unalienable rights given to them by their creator. That's the whole point. Is that. Is that so to call that a more conservative view is not used to. You mean the true view is that. Is that what you're saying? Is that how that works? The new pilot program will launch this fall as a part of Governor DeSantis ongoing battle with. With the left leaning bias in the AP courses on topics especially like race and gender. So that's that. That's how the lives are couching that argument. But yeah, before we pull up the headline producer Glenn, let's go back to the solo shot just for now, because I want to set this up in a way that I think makes the most sense. This very well could be the single story in which libs hate every Single component of it. What happened? You may have seen this story floating around, but the more that comes out about it, the more, the more that libs are just like trying to scramble their brains and go, ah, yeah, these are all the things that I hate happening positively now. It's not a good story. I wish this didn't happen, but there was an alleged carjacking in the state of Texas in which a man. The story originally floating around was a man, shot the assailant who was trying to steal his car. It then turned out that the man who shot the person trying to steal his car happened to be a black guy and happened to have a family. Oh, no, said the libs. A black guy with the family standing his ground. This is the worst. This is exactly like why conservatives make principled arguments like, yeah, don't care about your race, don't care about your skin color, don't care about any of those things. But yeah, you need to be able to defend yourself and especially your family. Well, turns out the newest information out of that story, if we can go back to the points here, is turns out the guy that got shot, that the alleged carjacker wasn't illegal. Of course it was. Of course it was. Look, I don't. Again, I don't wanna make light about this because this is, you know, I wish it didn't happen. This is a bad situation. Uh, the guy who was trying to steal the car died. But this, the headline illegal Im think every single word of this. The libs hate illegal immigrant ID'd as attempted carjacker gunned down by Texas dad protecting his family of eight. Yeah, yeah, everything about that. Oh, no, the libs conservatives are gonna celebrate a black dad standing his ground. Yes, we are. Cause. Yes. And just again, not, not that I'm pulling for any of this. This is just like, again, it's just what it is. I'm not like rooting for any of this, but like, of course it wasn't illegal. An illegal immigrant from Mexico identified as Jose Ramirez was fatally shot after he allegedly tried to carjack a Texas father's vehicle who had several children in the car and two adult females inside. Again, I can't emphasize this enough. I'm not like rooting for this sort of stuff to happen. Like, I wish it didn't happen, but also, like, this is like, this is the principles of conservatism in real life, being able to protect yourself and your family regardless of what you look like. The only, the only caveat here is eight people protecting his family of eight. That's a Chevy Impala. I, I don't know if I, I don't know if they were strictly abiding by the safety regulations for that particular make and model. They all that the only thing, the only thing tbt tvsa.com if you have any thoughts on that. Maybe the only problem they run into is being cited for not enough seatbelts in that car. But speaking of protecting kids, holy cow, this is a wild one. This from the California Post. Disney cruise ship staffers among 28 arrested in massive child corn which I think you have to say for Internet purposes operation which again fantastic that this is being done. Also terrible that it has to be done. But thank God we've got brave men and women willing to arrest child abusers. U.S. customs and Border Patrol agents arrested 28 crew members from multiple cruise ships, including several Disney Cruise Line employees during a massive child sex, sexual exploitation material sighting operations in San Diego between April 23 and April 25. 26 of the suspects were from the Philippines, one from Portugal, one from Indonesia. Found to be involved in receipt, possession, transportation, distribution or viewing of child corn which is disgusting and horrible. At least it led to their visas being canceled and removal from the country. Now is another one of those things like do you want tbt@tbsa.com because I'm conflicted about this. I am a big proponent of, well generally speaking get them out and keep them out and if they are not going to face the punishment for heinous crimes like this in another country, I'm cool with keeping them here. Letting them rot in a prison cell. I'll pay for that. That's, that's fine with me. Give them, let them face the fullest extent of the American criminal justice system and rot in a brick cell that's 4ft by 6ft. Well you have to go smaller because they're Filipinos so they're probably shorter so that, that'll be comfortable. So like a 5 foot by 3 foot cell. Getting off the rails here a little bit. Uh, I'm cool. Again I not a big proponent of paying taxes. Not a big proponent of, you know, incarcerating people that otherwise could be sent to another country. But in this particular incidence, incidence. I wanna make sure they face the full repercussions of the crimes that they allegedly committed. Uh, let's go ahead and keep em here and put em in our prisons to ensure that punishment is felt so that tbt tbsa.com if you'd like to let us know about that. Speaking of geez, illegal things being Done. Federal authorities, according to NPR, arrested 18 for alleged drug distribution around Los Angeles Park.
Karen Bass
You.
Joe Bob
Who, who would have thought in LA there are nefarious activities around drugs. Federal authorities arrested 18 on Wednesday in a coordinated operation targeting alleged drug distribution network around MacArthur park in Los Angeles, seizing 40 pounds of fentanyl in a single home. I. Okay, so I recognize there are different crimes between distribution or the intent to distribute paraphernalia or drugs. But also like, that's gotta be like up there with attempted murder. How much of that would have been needed to kill somebody and how, how many people would have been killed had these been leaked out onto the streets? How many people are currently dying? A lot. I don't know. I, I'm, I'm a. No tolerance on any of this stuff. Um, but at least it's good. Uh, producer Glenn, for the, for the sake of time, I want to make sure we can get to as many of the official business clips as we possibly can. So let's go ahead and take a break. TPTB.com if you have any thoughts, comments, concerns on any of this stuff. Would love to hear your thoughts. Should we deport criminals to other countries where they may not face the, the, the, the same justice that they would in the United States, or should we. Let's go ahead and keep them here and make sure they're locked up for good. I kind of lean towards the latter. Tptpc.com if you have any thoughts, comments, concerns on that. We'll be right back with official business after the break. Don't go away. Day one of me not making my wife mad. Day one again, me not making my wife mad. Had cereal for breakfast. That one's on me. Day one again, I guess I breathed too loud. Day one again, I was, I guess, standing in the exact spot she needed to be. Day two. Guys, can you please get out?
Guest or Additional Commentator
I'm trying to take a shower.
Joe Bob
Now, the subjectivity of the word mad depends a lot on the situation. And in a certain component, at a certain point. There is a component of, ah, maybe your wife is not great, but there's also a component of, you know, that's this is very everyday general husband material in terms of, yeah, I don't know, I was breathing too loud or I chewed my food too loud or, I don't know, was sitting on the couch relaxing and things that just annoy your wife. Right. There's a certain component depending on what mad means. I feel like annoyed would have been a better term because that happens frequently. If your wife is getting mad at you every day. I might suggest counseling, but annoyed is definitely. It's probably a semantics issue, but I appreciate the sentiment of the video nonetheless. All right, hey, when official business happens, we have to cover it again, contractually, legally obligated at the threat of federal prison time, I think up to 25 years, which that would fall on producer Glenn, so that's fine, I guess, but, you know, we would miss him a little bit. So, in other words, rather than have him be subjected to federal punishment, we might as well get to official business, This first one. I know, I know, I know. A lot of California, but also, why are there so many California debates? There was a gubernatorial debate on Tuesday, another one on Wednesday. They're just. They happen, like, literally the same people on a different stage in a different time. And at the same time, there was the LA mayor's debate, which was more fireworky because that's the first time all of those people have been on the stage at the same time. Um, and the reason we bring that up is because, again, a peek into the second most populous city in the nation and how normal will get you elected, probably. Hopefully. All you have to do is not be freaking nuts. Here is a very simple yes or no debate question flubbed by two of the lib candidates. Cut six. This is a yes or no question, an answer. So there's an L. A council member, he wants voters to decide. He is saying that non citizens, should they be allowed to vote in local elections. Is this a yes or no, Mr. Pratt? No. Mayor Bass?
Karen Bass
It depends. It's not a yes or no.
Joe Bob
Depends on what?
Karen Bass
Well, first of all, when you say non citizens, it doesn't mean they're here illegal. It doesn't mean they're undocumented. They could have green cards. They could be here.
Joe Bob
Perfectly legal.
Karen Bass
And there's a lot of states and cities that do that on very, very local elections. We have to see what the councilman is proposing.
Joe Bob
Council member Bremen. Yeah, I would say, again, it does depend. In other places, school boards have non citizens, non citizens. Mr. Fred, I have a question for you. To my point made earlier in the show, maybe reality TV show hosts are the best political candidates. Spencer Pratt from AT1, Laguna beach or the Hills, one of those MTV VH1 shows from 20 years ago. It's very sad. He's making a lot of waves, and I love a lot of what he's doing. But his house burned down and the Palisades fire, and so he's like, I'm fed up. I'm done with this. I'm running for mayor of Los Angeles. And again, this is not a difficult should. Non. Should. People who aren't allowed to vote vote no. And then the two. This is very, very simple. The other two candidates. Well, it depends on the particulars of the. Not illegals, but maybe illegals. Maybe some illegals who are that just. No. The only normal guy in the race is the reality TV show guy, which, you know, cool. Maybe. Maybe all politicians should have to serve on a reality TV show before their run for elected office. Now, staying inconsistent with LA. I want to skip to Sat8. Their producer, Glenn. The current mayor of Los Angeles, one Karen Bass, who I'm gonna. I'm gonna limit my commentary because I have a lot of colorful language used to describe that clown. She's talking about the reasons to why she'd be elected again, why she deserves another term as mayor because of such the great work she's done on homelessness. Now I'm getting. I'm getting word this video is edited in some way, shape or form. I'm not so sure it's up to you to decide. This is the current mayor of Los Angeles on why she deserves a second shot. Cut eight.
Karen Bass
I think that I deserve a second term and I'm going to fight for that because we have made significant progress in a variety of areas. For example, homelessness was going up year after year, and under my watch. It is the first time we've had a decrease in street homelessness. While it went up in the country, 18%. It came down in Los Angeles, 17 and a half percent.
Joe Bob
Okay, cool people. If people want to believe that, they're more than welcome to believe something that is wrong also, too. Who's counting? Was it like, hey, there's, you know, 40,000 homeless people in Los Angeles. Oh, hi, says Mayor Bass.
Producer Glenn
Let me.
Joe Bob
Let me go recount that. I'm gonna look around. I think there's one over there. Look at that. I didn't. I think there's only one. That's how we're gonna count now. And look at that. Actually decreased home. Wow, I did such a great job. Trying to convince people of something that they can see with their own eyes and tell them that is not true is a crazy position that lives continue to put themselves in. Now, we're skipping around quite a bit here because I do want to get this on, make sure we have time for it. A lot has been made about gas prices. Gas prices, not good. Objectively, you were reminded anytime you drive by a local gas station on the corner and See, Holy cow, that's what it is in California. Jesus. There's like mid $7. That. That's a lot. It's objectively a lot. Now, of course, the libs are trying to blame that entirely on President Trump. And, yeah, the Iran war does have an effect on that. Now, not gonna into the. Get into the discussion right now on whether or not that's worth it, but to say that the president is solely, entirely responsible for gas prices is what the libs are currently doing. But what did they say? Not all that long ago? Remember the Biden administration's Jennifer Granholm, I believe her name was. Saying. Well, saying that the opposite of what they're currently claiming is actually true, I guess when the mental patient escapee was president. This is cut 10, obviously. So to be really clear, obviously, the president does not control the price of gasoline. No, president does. But what we're seeing right now is this global mismatch between supply and demand. Oil production is lagging behind as the rest of the economy roars back to life after the shutdown. Now, I said, we're not going to get into the round war thing. Very, very briefly, remember when gas prices were crazy high under President Biden? What did we actually get for it? Like, what was the benefit of that? What did the American people receive for having to pay absurdly high gas prices for way longer than it currently has? In this particular instance, it could be that we get a more peaceful globe with the biggest perpetrator of terrorism debilitated extensively, greatly. Which, you know, we get something. Yes. Gas prices very, very high. And if we get something for it, you know, we. We can weigh those options. What did we get when gas prices were super high during the last administration? Oh, nothing. Or to be told that we're racist grandma killers. Is that. That's. That's what I remember getting. But there's a difference. All right, to wrap up official business, I want to make sure we get this on. The joke has been made a number of times of Marco Rubio just effectively doing all the jobs. There's that meme of him sitting on the couch of Rubio. Rubio learns that he now has to be the King of Persia, or whatever it is. And he's dressed up in an ancient Persian outfit. Apparently, he's also pretty good. Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, who had her baby this morning. Congratulations. Caroline, obviously on maternity leave. And Secretary Rubio yesterday decided, yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and take the podium in the White House press preview room. He did a fantastic job. And I. I think made a an unbelievably eloquent response to a question that I just needs to be answered by more Americans, especially on the lib side of the aisle. What do they actually want for the future of this country? I thought this was the best answer that he could have possibly given. This is Secretary Rubio in Cut 7 for America.

At a time such as this, my hope for America. And how do you personally deal with that? Yeah, look, I mean, my hope for America is what it's always been. I think it's the hope I hope we all share. We want it to continue to be the place where anyone from anywhere can achieve anything, where you're not limited by the circumstances of your birth, by the color of your skin, by your ethnicity. But frankly, it's a place where you are able to overcome challenges and achieve your full potential. I think that should be the goal of every country in the world, frankly. But I think in the US we're not perfect. Our history is not one of perfection, but it's. But it's still better than anybody else's history. And ours is a story of perpetual improvement. Each generation has left the next generation of Americans freer, more prosperous, safer, and that is our goal as well. But it is a unique and exceptional country. And as we come upon this 250 year anniversary, I think we have a lot to learn and be proud of in our history. It is one of perpetual and continuous improvement where each generation has done its part to bring us closer to fulfilling the vision that the founders of this country had upon its founding. So

fantastic answer. No further comment. We'll be right back after the break. TPT PSA.com if you have any thoughts, comments, concerns, criticisms. It is. Ooh, it's justice Thursday. We will enact some justice on this Thursday. We'll be right back after the break. Don't go away. My pronouns are he himself does not stop Buffalo Wild Wings from getting that wrong. Every time I go in there, though, I'll go in by myself, be by myself. I'll give the lady my order, she'll take it into the back. And then I'll hear the kitchen staff go, they want how many wings? And I'm afraid to correct them. So for my table I yell, we would also like blue cheese, please. That's funny. It was a layered joke. It's funny. Also, the mockery of the pronouns. Things is still in fashion, but I'm glad to say that's going away. Pronoun Anything is just going away. And that's a win for us. Win for sanity. Speaking of sanity, we've got an insane guy running for California governor, but it's in California, so I guess I repeat myself. That was implied. California governor. It's clearly an insane guy,
Producer Glenn
but also,
Joe Bob
it is today Justice Thursday. So in order to respond to this insane guy running for political office in one of the more ironic and hypocritical ways, we will. We will enact justice where justice is due. It's Justice Thursday Thursday Tribunal. Justice Thursday. That's right. I forget it's technically called the Thursday Tribunal. I like Justice Thursday better. Anyways, on this Justice Thursday, we will. We will see if it's worthy of indicting on the grounds of extreme hypocrisy in the first degree. Uh, Tom Stier, who is a clown who's run for governor of California a number of times because he is a gajillionaire, for whatever reason, he's a gajillionaire running against gajillionaires or the idea of gajillionaires. And he has spent an absorbant amount of money. This is CNN breaking down the cost of the guy who really wants to work for the people. This is cut 11 spending for California governors.
Producer Glenn
Top candidate spenders. Tom Steyer has already spent $145 million. I almost sound like, feel like Dr. Evil saying that. $145 million. The next closest is Mahan as a candidate spender. He has spent just $6 million. You don't have to be a mathematical genius to know that 145 million is way more than 6 million. It's 139 million more. Even when you take into account the outside groups that are spending, the top outside group spending for man is spending, get this, $23 million so far. So Tom Steyer is spending more money than anybody I could possibly imagine spending to want to be the governor of California. But, hey, it's a great state, I guess.
Joe Bob
Yeah, man of the people. It's a yeah, man of the people spending 100, almost $150 million so that he could say, well, rich people are bad. As it is. Justice Thursday, I will either indict or not. I choose to indict. I will prosecute. And as the jury, I have convicted Tom Stier of being a massively wealthy moron. And as his punishment, I, the judge who sentences Tom Stier, sentence him to continue burning his money. I sentenced this man to continue taking money out of his pocket and lighting it on fire, which is effectively what he's doing. And so, yeah, I guess justice will be served.
Karen Bass
Now.
Joe Bob
Again, I think he kind of the. The post here kind of alluded to it, but he didn't outright say it. Spending $145 million of his own money to be the governor of California. In other words, the worst possible job you could have. The governor that will probably preside over the first state to go bankrupt. So good job at wasting your money, dude. Justice is served. Hey, mailbags. Coming up after the break, tptpsa.com if you'd like to be included or leave a comment wherever you watch this on social media. We'll get to some of those comments and emails after the break. Don't go away. Dad, do you know what time it is? Oh, sorry, baby.
Barack Obama
I don't have a watch. But hold on, let me get a beer.
Joe Bob
How's a beer gonna help you tell the time.
Barack Obama
You'll see.
Producer Glenn
Ready?
Joe Bob
It's three o' clock and you're already drinking. What are you doing?
Barack Obama
Three o'. Clock.
Joe Bob
Yeah. Yeah. Making light of alcoholism. That's. That's what we stand for here. Producer Glenn. I'm just kidding. That's. That's how. That's at the first chapter in my. The title of my book, how to argue unfairly. All right. Hey, mailbag. Tptpc.com is the email address. Let's see. From the video. We're doing this new thing. We're doing the social media stuff. Um, let's see. Cut 12, I believe this. This is the video where the comment was as idiot Hegseth going scorched earth on Garamendi. The comments. Let's see. Dang. I'm naming this guy Captain America. They're talking about Mr. Hegseth. He's just awesome. Agreed. Recruitment doubled after this was released. I don't actually know if that's true. That's just a commenter on the YouTube's or the Facebook. Any of those. Let's see. Bam. Captain Pete, Captain America. Love it says John. Brandy says Pete, don't play. Love this guy. Tough as nails. Agreed. On the video topic of one Katie Porter wanting free healthcare for illegals, the comments say this. Paul says she will be the reason California ends, which may or may not be a good thing, especially for you who live in states that may have to bail California out. Um, I don't think these people understand the difference between being here legally and being here illegally. That is correct, Paul. Or at least they just ignore it. Uh, Jen says this area, Arizona, already has its own crazy K. As governor. We don't want another crazy K here in California. Correct, Armando says. I bet she lives in a gated community with security. Actually, yesterday we discussed that she lives in on campus housing of the University of California, Irvine, subsidized by the taxpayers, even though she was making almost $300,000 a year in total compensation when she was employed by the school. To the emails Shannon says this Great comments on Obama. Love your show. Thank you so much Shannon. Lolol Lots of lol. Laugh out loud. Out loud. Out loud. Out loud. Great. Let's see Email from Dave on the same topic of the the Scavin Newsom, what's How do you how do you talk about his performance? Well, his performance is performative. Since I believe performative was the correct answer to Governor Newsom's performance. Because in every interview I've seen, he it has been in performance. A comedic performance, to be sure, but a performance nonetheless. Hey Dave, I don't like you pointing out accuracies here that I've missed. I don't know if I would say I missed it. But also, we're making fun of libs here. Dave, while I appreciate your adherence to reality, it goes against us making fun of the libs, which is what we like to do. Podcast: Real America’s Voice
Host: Joe Bob
Date: May 8, 2026
Listen on: iHeartPodcasts
In this episode, Joe Bob delivers a classic Real America’s Voice take on current political and cultural news, leading with sharp commentary on Barack Obama’s recent reentry into the public political sphere. The episode analyzes Obama’s interviews (notably with Stephen Colbert), debates about the Democratic Party’s future, major news headlines (including self-defense and immigration stories), and breaks down recent political debates in California—including a surprising performance by a reality TV star. The tone is irreverent, skeptical, pointedly critical of left-wing positions, and heavy on direct sarcasm and comedic analogies.

Joe Bob on Obama’s Irony [04:25]:

Stephen Colbert on Party Divide [08:21]:
“To me, dad, you’re liberal, we’re leftists... liberals are people who think things should basically stay the same. The next generation really wants things to change.”
Barack Obama on Regular People [14:41]:
“What I'm more interested in for Democrats is do you know how to just talk to regular people like we're not in a college seminar?”
Joe Bob on Texas Carjacking Story [20:04]:

If you want a fiery, sometimes comedic, always staunchly conservative review of the political moment—especially focused on perceived hypocrisy from the left—this episode is a classic example. Joe Bob’s blend of current event reactions, cultural commentary, and sardonic humor is central both to the show’s appeal and its critique of American political discourse.
