Lots of Texas schools are putting Jesus into their curriculum, who is, by the way, a historical figure. But the libs are freaking out about it because, of course, they are also Disney. Are they able to make a comeback with a really interesting announcement for the 250th birthday of the United States of America and a hilarious Trump AI story from the New York Times. It's unbelievable that people take them seriously at any level. All that more coming up on this episode of Turning Point. Tonight, my name is Joe Bob. Thanks so much for tuning in. Together, we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback. Now, first and foremost, obviously I'm not in the studio. Today we are on tour with Megyn Kelly, which is a unbelievable and fantastic opportunity. Tonight we are in the Houston area. Tomorrow will be in San Antonio. Saturday, we'll be in Dallas at the Dickies Arena. Unbelievable opportunity. Thank you so much, Megan, for extending the invitation. And obviously it only really happened. Well, Charlie was supposed to do one of the tour stops and. And you know, because of the tragedy, Megan decided to again extend the invitation for myself and Turning Point to be a part of her tour in honor of Charlie and in remembering his legacy and continuing to push obviously what he was fighting for his entire life. So that's where we are. That's what we're doing. Appreciate you sticking with us in this hotel room and outside of Houston. You can email the show anytime you want. Tptpusa.com love seeing each and every one of your emails we go through. We actually do read quite a bit of them. Some of them are a little lengthy. Just some of them look concise. Making it a little concise makes it more accessible, let's say that. But tbtpusa.com youm can also go subscribe to our YouTube channel where there's content that's not.

Not you can't.

We can't fit all the cool things we want to talk about in this standard TV format. So if you go to our YouTube channel or our Rumble channel or any of the other social media platforms, you'll be able to see all of the thoughts, expand it without censorship, but at the same time, it's all clean anyway. So anyways, go subscribe to our social media channels. You will not regret it. Now, what happens on social media in so many cases, especially now, is something that the New York Times is freaking out about. Hardcore. I want to read you this headline that I saw. I was scrolling through it because I read the New York Times to, you know, punish myself for my sins. And I try to dive through what the libs are thinking in order to bring it to you fine folks. And sometimes there are stories like this that are just so delusionally ridiculous that it's, it's both comical and scary all at the same time. This article was entitled How Trump Is Using Fake Imagery to Attack Enemies and Rouse Supporters. Look, let me start off by saying this. We're all concerned about AI. We are all concerned about how realistic AI is getting. We're concerned about its ability to do jobs that Americans do currently and maybe won't be available in the future. There's a lot of concern over AI. However, it is a little bit overblown when the New York Times claims that President Trump is using AI in such a hugely dangerous way. Let me read some of this article and then I'll get you some examples as to what the New York Times is claiming to be so destructive to the fabric of our democracy. They say after nationwide protests this weekend against Mr. Trump's administration, the president posted an AI. If you haven't seen this, you really should go check it out. An AI generated video to his Truth Social account depicting himself as a fighter pilot careening through major cities and dropping excrement on protesters. I think, here's why I think this is so funny. It's hilarious to watch that described by the folks in the New York Times. He posted, if you haven't seen it, he posted a video of him and a fighter pilot in a fighter jet with a crown on because they're calling him a king. Pooping big blue cities. And I just think it's funny. The scientific esque way that the New York Times feels like they have to describe it depicts himself excrementing on the blue cities. I just love that they go on. Mr. Trump has posted AI generated images or videos at least 62 times on his Truth social account since late 2022, according to a review by the New York Times of his posts to the social media account. Now, here's where it starts to get funny. You know, Charlie always used to say it's fun and impactful if you don't take the libs as seriously as they take themselves. This is a perfect example of libs taking themselves far more seriously than anyone else is going to because the way that they dive into this makes it seem like they're undercover. We are discovering, we are deciding what is AI and what's not to bring to you, the people, the truth. And in reality, we all know it's a joke. We all know that the President in so many ways is effectively a comedian. You kind of see this when he goes on his rallies, when he's running and he's campaigning. As a guy who does comedy, you can see him working through material and workshopping it. And sometimes the joke makes it and it gets a big laugh and he does that joke again. And then sometimes the joke doesn't make it and he never does it again. Or sometimes he tweaks the joke just a little bit and then it gets a big laugh. He's effectively doing comedy on these tours or on his campaign trail and well, it's hilarious. And we all understand that his son Don Jr. Who by the way, I'm with tonight in the greater Houston area is the general in the meme wars. We are all aware that a lot of this is a joke. That's my main point here. But not the New York Times. He goes on to say this. The fake imagery has included blistering attacks of his political rivals, flattening, flattering depictions of himself and misleading political campaign materials made entirely by AI tools. And this is where it gets hilarious. They wrote this seriously. The New York Times used tools designed to detect AI images to help identify fakes alongside with manual review content that could not be clearly identified as AI. In posts appeared to be primarily to reveal videos that have been edited by AI Power powered filters were excluded. Let me just, let me just show you the in depth research and dissophisticated AI tools that the New York Times needed to figure out whether or not something was AI. Go ahead and pull up graphics 6. Glenn, believe it or not, it took an in depth investigation by the world's most formidable newspaper to figure out this photo is actually AI. I know you folks at home didn't quite know that. You weren't quite aware were there a bunch of kittens gathered together to rally for their president. Also, by the way, don't let, don't let them eat us vote for Trump. I don't even know what that is or what that means, but it's hilarious. But thankfully the investigative professionals at the New York Times have let us all know that this photo is in fact AI. Let's go to another one here. Graphic 7. This photo also, again, you would not have known, but President Trump is with Elvis. This is also AI generated. I know you're probably shocked. You're, you're in, you're like this really? This photo of President Trump now and a guy who's been, been dead for, for several decades is fake. I know, I know we're all. We're all questioning what. What is real with our own eyes. And our last image here, which I'm sure you've seen shuffling through the B roll, is this. Again, I. I just have to. We have to be upfront. We have to disclose the fact that this photo, this selfie of the President of the United States with a lion is in fact AI. I know it's tough to realize sometimes, but believe it or not, the President was not on a safari in his suit taking selfies with lions and posting it to social media. It is, in fact, computer generated. It isn't real. But thank you to the investigative professionalism over at the New York Times for pointing that out to us stupid, stupid people who can't figure out that some of these photos aren't actually real. Now, on a serious note, just for the record, it is fascinating to me that the libs decide to go so hard on stuff that is clearly fake and we all know is fake and at the same time continue to push stuff that we all know is fake as if it were true. President Trump mocking a disabled journalist, which we all know didn't actually happen. If you look at the context, you look at the whole Charlottesville situation. While President Trump praised white supremacists, saying there were good people on both sides, it's clear clearly not what he was saying, but that that lie is continually echoed. Even President Obama said that on the campaign trail, said that it was exactly pushed the same lie himself on the campaign trail. And now, you know, we have so many instances of the same sort of thing. President Trump is demolishing the White House. So the broad point that I think I'm trying to make here is that it is unbelievably fascinating that the New York Times decides it is a good use of their time to solve the crisis of which photos are AI and which one are actually real. Yeah, we all know the kittens protesting for President Trump is fake. And we also know that the things that you claim to be true are also fake. It's a crazy dichotomy if you think about it. You've got on one side the seriousness and the level of which they take this AI fakery, which is hilarious and funny and clearly a joke, and then pushing the same lies that they've been over and over and over again that have been debunked over and over and over again and expect us to take them seriously as a whole. It is unbelievable and honestly, quite hilarious. But again, I'm going to continue reading the New York times because again, I like to punish myself for my sins and like to bring you the prevailing thoughts on the lib side of the aisle. This is the best place that you get it from the from the crazy people at the New York Times. We got a lot to get to. Interestingly enough, Texas, the state I'm in currently, is putting Jesus back into school curriculum. We're going to talk to Chris Hand about that because I have some thoughts just historically speaking. But again, an article from the New York Times Libs are big mad about that. Why is Jesus in our textbooks? Okay, well he's a historical figure that influenced pretty much all of the mainstream leaders of the west since for the last 2,000 years. So yeah, maybe people should know a little bit more about him also, and this is not really funny, it's just illegals are continuing to kill people in car accidents because California and other states continue to give them CDLs and well, guess what? If you continue to do bad ideas, bad things are going to happen. There's a ton to get to today. I want to catch you up on some of the stuff in California, specifically regarding test results. We'll just get to a lot of it. Email tptpusa.com Go subscribe to our YouTube channel if you're in the Houston area, would love to see you tonight, San Antonio tomorrow with Megyn Kelly as well as Dallas on Saturday. You can get tickets at Megyn Kelly's website. If you happen to be at any of those events, flag me down. Say hi. Like saying hi to anybody who comes up and says, you know, hello. That's of course that's what you would say, but appreciate you sticking around tuning in. We'll be right back after the break. Don't go away.

Welcome back to Turning Point tonight where together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback through the mockery of terrible lib ideas. But I repeat myself, it's a lib idea. It's obviously terrible. You can email the show anytime you want. TPTPUSA.com, love seeing your emails. Whether you agree with everything we've ever said on this show or you're wrong doesn't matter. We don't censor here on the right. We welcome all opinions even if they are wrong. You should also go subscribe to our YouTube channel. Unseen content that just can't, we can't fit it into the time constraints that we have on this show. You can find that on our social media platforms, specifically the Turning Point Tonight YouTube channel. It is a fascinating time when we get to talk to Chris Hand, host of the Chris Hand show and also fill in guest host here if I'm ever incapacitated or I don't know, whatever reason I'm not here. Chris Hand, thank you so much for, for joining.
Chris Hand
I love, I love the show. I'm a huge fan. In case of emergency break glass. I'll definitely step in and be a host and I from time to time I steal your email line on my show and give you a wink and a nod for credit.
Joe Bob
You know Chris. I do. I would appreciate though next time you do come host is you don't have to do the brown face. They know it's a different person and just leave the makeup to the side or tan more. I guess if you're.
Chris Hand
That was, that was one of those things where I should have listened to the wife.
Joe Bob
Yeah. You know you can't win them all. So Chris, so this is actually really interesting. I want to, I don't know, have a, I guess more free flowing conversation on this than we kind of usually do on the show. The New York Times is in utter meltdown. We just did a big New York Times story about how they are bravely deciphering what is AI and what isn't. Chris, did you know that there's a photo of President Trump taking a selfie with a lion that thankfully the New York Times has pointed out is actually AI?
Chris Hand
I would fact check that if I were you. I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure that one's real. The AI stuff is so silly though. They think we're so dumb. Like, just a couple weeks ago, George Floppadopoulos put up the photo of Hakeem Jeffries with the mustache and the sombrero and it literally said AI generated image. And it was like, no kidding. Thank you. Thank you.
Joe Bob
I see. I'm gonna say you have to fact check that one. I'm pretty sure those were all real. And then the sombrero that I was wearing on this show was also definitely real and not at all a fake joke that we were making specifically on the air. Okay, so before we go off on that tangent, I thought this was funny. This is another New York Times article where they are now having utter panic attacks over new Texas curriculum where they actually talk about Jesus just a little bit more. Let me read you the opening line of this article, Chris, and I'll do it in my scary voice. A new state sponsored English curriculum infused with lessons about the Bible and Christianity could reach tens of thousands of Texas school children just this year. Obviously you were panicked about this. I am panicked about this. The New York Times is in total and utter meltdown over it, but they decided to write this entire article saying that a fourth, a quarter of the schools in Texas are going to adopt this new curriculum that teach more about Jesus and the Bible than have ever been taught in public schools up to this point. Chris, before we get into the kind of the meat of the article, your initial thoughts and concerns or responses to, to the New York Times making this a big deal.
Chris Hand
My first thought is it's just another example of the hypocrisy of the left. How often are we told by leftists, Jesus loves everybody, he gets us. And that's always the talking points, right? Like they always focus more on the lamb rather than the lion. And we're always like, pump the brakes there, fellas, pump the brakes. But now when we want to talk about Jesus, who loves everybody and gets us, it's an issue that mean that's. That's my first observation. Secondarily awesome. This is actually great news. Let's talk more about Jesus. I. I think that that's a good thing for every Kid. You know, so many kids are going through tough times and. And mom and dad either aren't there or they're working or they got their own issues going on. To let a kid know that there's a power higher than themselves that wants the best for them, that's looking out for them, I have a hard time believing that there's anything negative about that. Now. I'm not sure that that's the exact route they're going to go here in Texas, but from a historical standpoint, it's the most. The Bible is the most read book in human history. So you can make the argument to study the Bible from just a literature standpoint, as opposed to even a religious standpoint. And I think that that would stand on the merits alone. But this is an issue with the left.
Joe Bob
No, and to your point, every leader out, coming out, not every leader, but the vast majority of leaders that developed Western Civ and Western culture have all done so on the basis of Christian morality and Judeo Christian values. And that's the whole thing here is like, even if you didn't have any sort of spiritual connection with whatever the new curriculum in Texas is, just from a historical standpoint, every single big, powerful individual that you read about in your social studies class was influenced by this guy and this book. So to not have it kind of be at the forefront of the curriculum seems crazy to me. The New York Times said this. The original units in the grade mentioned Jesus 19 times. Now Jesus is mentioned 87 times, which, to your point, like you mentioned earlier, great. Sounds good.
Chris Hand
I actually think it's a little low. How many. How many days do we have in the school year? Can we get those numbers up? Those feel like rookie numbers to me also. Of the original 18, how many in the Texas curriculum was it actually referring to Jesus In a math problem? I would like to see those numbers as well.
Joe Bob
Yeah. The math problem states Jesus has 27 narangas and he gives. Maria, this is going to give me a trouble, you know.
Monica Page
But you're.
Joe Bob
Yeah, to your point, that's, you know, I'm not entirely sure that that's entirely. They're. They're probably inflating those numbers to make it sound even worse. But even then, let's see if we can get that doubled the next time. I think the biggest concern here that the New York Times has is the curriculum was created as several states, including yada, yada, yada, yada, including prayer in schools and religious texts like the Ten Commandments into public school classrooms. Here's the Big one. Blurring the line between the separation of church and state, which isn't in the Constitution, it's in the Federalist Papers. And it was kind of like more of a suggestion. But Chris, your thoughts on this idea of that the separation of church and state means you must eliminate all religious aspects of culture and society in any sort of educational setting? Because I'm pretty sure that's not what that means. And even then, not in the Constitution.
Chris Hand
Yeah, I was always under the opinion that it was more about the government interfering with the church as opposed to the church interfering with the government. And that was. That was a bit more meaty on that side. I, I mean, teach their own. Listen, I'm not going to be upset that Jesus is in the school. And, and I would even concede some space for more Jewish history lessons and, and Islamic history lessons. You know what fun fact that in any social studies class in a high school, you're going to learn a lot about Islam. Like, that's just something that you're going to learn. The, The Middle east, the history behind it. So why is it that it seems like the only issue that ever comes up is with the Christian faith? I think that that, to me, is the bigger question here. It's only a problem when it's Jesus. It's never a problem when it's Mohammed. It's never a problem when it, when it's Judaism. Well, unless you get to college campuses, then it's a hell of a different problem. You're not even allowed to show up on campus. But it seems like the most revolted that we see the left is when we try to bring Jesus into public spaces. That, to me, always tells me it's true. And, and they. They hated me before they hated you. Take. Take some, Take some ease in that. And it just tells me that we got to push even harder. We have to bring our worldview into the public square. And a lot of the problems that you're seeing in America today are because we conceded that. We said, yeah, you're. You're probably right. Let's not talk about Jesus in the boardroom.
Joe Bob
You're.
Chris Hand
You're probably right. Let's. Let's save Jesus for after the PTA meeting. And no good has come of it. And it created a vacuum, and other ideologies have filled that void, and we're seeing those ideologies have to take steps back, and that's good, but that doesn't mean that we should take our foot off the gas.
Joe Bob
No, you're 100% correct. And also to your point, yeah, I learned quite a bit about Muhammad. Interestingly enough, never learned in a public school class about his 14 year old wife, which is odd. I don't know how that didn't come up. But also interesting in the cultural standpoint, right before you came on here, if folks don't know if they're just listening to this and not seeing it, I am not in the studio. I am in a hotel outside of Houston and in that hotel room I looked around. There is no Bible in here anymore. It used to be that. Yeah, I looked around and there, I looked at all the. There's no drawers underneath these nightstands. It's not in the refrigerator cabinet. There's no Bible. Used to be. Right. That you would have a Bible in every hotel room in every state in the entire country, let alone the world and can't find one here. Like what does that say about the culture and where it's going?
Chris Hand
It's not a good sign by any stretch of the imagination. And I just think people need to get more in the word. And I'm not, I'm not a theologian by any stretch of the imagination. But I know that it's benefited my life in a lot of ways. I don't, I don't really think it's a conversation for me to have on which version you need to read. But they're all great and they can all impact your life in a positive way whether you're reading it from a literature standpoint or you're reading it from a religious standpoint. More. Jesus is never going to be a bad thing.
Joe Bob
And it's also just to wrap this up, this is. They go on down here to talk about. Well, Christianity gets more space than other religions. But I really thought it was interesting how they phrased it. It says Jesus quotes about from the Bible and Jesus are referenced about 10 times. By contrast, Islam, Muslims, the Quran and. And the Prophet Muhammad are mentioned roughly 31 times. Interesting that they said the Prophet Muhammad and not the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when they were talking about them specifically. At no point in the article did it say anything like that. Again, I don't necessarily expect that from the New York Times, but it is interesting to say the Prophet Muhammad and not, you know, adding any sort of adjectives to Jesus's name as well.
Chris Hand
But it is, it is important to note that Muhammad is in the Bible when, when they were being warned about false prophets.
Joe Bob
Totally. Yeah. 100%, pretty much all of the book of. I was going to make up a Bible book But I also don't want to be seen as too much of a heretic here. But yeah, no, it's great, great points all around. I can't see how one, this is a bad thing and two, how libs try to turn this into like this whole is clearly, you know, anti the United States of America because separation of church and state. Which by the way, the argument that Charlie would make on that is, well, they didn't want the government siding with any particular sect of Christianity. Like we didn't want them to go pro Catholic and anti Quaker or you know, pro evangelical. It was all different sects of Christianity. I think they, if had the framers known that, you know, some other crazy religions would creep into the modern culture of American society and maybe they'd have some different opinions.
Chris Hand
But you know, there's a great three minute clip of Charlie that floats around X all the time. You were actually one of the first people I saw tweeted out and you said, when I grow up, I want to be like Charlie Kirk. And he breaks down how America was founded as a Christian nation. And it's worth, it's worth the search for anybody.
Joe Bob
Maybe, maybe we'll bring that clip up tomorrow because it is fascinating. I have watched that clip dozens of times trying to remember everything he says and I still can't get it down. And yet this guy had it just off the top of his head because unbelievable. That's how his brain worked. But fascinating. Chris is going to come back and talk about whether Disney is redeemable. The company that has been canceled by so many people because of the woke crazy nonsense they put on their kids programming and whether or not they can be redeemed by their new step towards pro America content, everything. All that more coming up on this episode of Turning Points. Now we're going to talk to Monica Page next. Don't go. We'll be right back after this.

Welcome back to Turning Point tonight where together we are continuing to chart the course of America's cultural comeback. Even from a hotel room outside of Houston, Texas, where like I mentioned, I'll be with Megyn Kelly tonight in Sugar Land. If you're watching this by now you probably missed the show, but maybe you can go to check us out in San Antonio or Dallas, one of those fantastic places. Anyways, tptpusa.com is the email. You can email us anytime you want. You can also go subscribe to our YouTube channel, which is where you're going to get exclusive content where you're not going to see anywhere else because there's too much to say and too little time. So without further ado, I got to talk about talking about too much to say, not enough time. We never get enough time with Monica Page, Turning Points White House correspondent. But we're going to try and squeeze everything in with her right now. Monica, how you doing?
Monica Page
We're doing great, Joe. Bob, it's another busy day at the White House. We always sound like a broken record when we talk about these things, but.
Joe Bob
It'S gonna say it sounds good.
Monica Page
Lots going on.
Joe Bob
It sounds redundant. It's like at the White House assumes busy day. So the President had a big, a big panel talking about some important things. You wanna fill us in on that?
Monica Page
Yeah. Huge roundtable, the second roundtable that he's hosting this month. Earlier this month we saw independent journalists gathering around with the President, some of his officials talking about how these people were victims of antifa. But this we heard from local law enforcement, we heard from administration officials talking about how they are combating the drug cartels and trying to eliminate the threats that they pose to the United States. Not only drugs, but also human smuggling as well. And as it stands right now, the President on his first day in office, actually January 20th, he established this Homeland Security task force where he, you know, got a bunch of people together, a lot of his administration officials, and said, hey, listen, we're going to go after these drug cartels, you know, killing these Americans that we've seen over the last four years. And since this task force was created, we've seen 2 million fentanyl pills off our streets, about a thousand weapons off of our streets in our US communities. We've seen 70 tons of other narcotics be seized as well. And we've seen a number of drug boats in the Caribbean Sea, off the coast of Venezuela be targeted and bombed, essentially. So we're seemingly heading in the right direction as far as combating this threat posed to United States. So we're hearing from the president what his next steps are going to be, maybe what other things that the task force is going to be focused on. But it's refreshing to hear from these administration officials because, you know, over the last four years, what were we doing to keep our country safe? The president made this a foreign terror organization and he's treating it as such to keep us all safe.
Joe Bob
Well, no, to your point, that's like a, that's like a fantastic point. What were we doing prior to this? I think in like 2022, and I don't have the number off the top of my head, but it was, it was the highest amount of opioid deaths across the country. And like, nothing happened about it. And it's, it's good that we finally have somebody who's like, hey, Americans dying is a serious problem. Maybe we should take this seriously. So that seemed to be good news coming out of the White House, as per usual. You know, I hate to take you down the silly rabbit hole, Monica. I am honestly shocked that we are still even talking about this. I assumed that we had made fun of and mocked the libs so hard for their internal panic about this the last couple days that it would be over with as a story. But of course, the White House is flattened. As you know, you're, you've been there, it's, it's no longer there. It's been completely and entirely decimated. So you'd mentioned the press briefing this morning was talking almost exclusively about renovations, which again, maybe it is that libs just aren't handy people and therefore like don't know that when you renovate something, like if you get a new backsplash in on your kitchen, you're going to do some damage before you actually make it nicer. Like I wonder since they've never done those like blue collar jobs, they just don't understand it, like, what is going on on that front in your world?
Monica Page
Well, it's funny because the press secretary posted it on her page just last night that this is Trump ballroom derangement syndrome. For some reason, these people like just can't fathom the fact that we're making the White House beautiful again. I mean, it's interesting because I saw Resurface clip back in 2010 where former President Obama made 360, $370 million in renovations on the taxpayer's dime. This is about, what, $250 million solely coming out of the President's pocket and the donor's pocket. The people actually want to fund something beautiful here at the White House. And it's wild to see the left comparing the beautiful pictures and images that we have seen. Some of the mock ups that we've seen to that of Nazi Hitler in Germany. Wild. They cannot stand to see beautiful things.
Joe Bob
Unfortunately, it blows my mind. And this is a picture from Glenn. If we have that graphic from Midas Touch that says, well, well, well, ballroom at the Winter palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. White House rendering of the new Trump ballroom. Effectively saying, well, Vladimir Putin has a ballroom, therefore Trump and Vladimir Putin are best friends. Which if they've been following the news the last couple days, that's clearly not true. But I, I guess I don't quite understand what Monica, we, we are getting dangerously close to, well, Adolf Hitler breathed oxygen. Trump breeds oxygen just like Hitler. How far away are we from that?
Monica Page
We're right there, unfortunately. And I hate to say that because it really does feel like it. I mean, you go on social media and everything, I feel like the rhetoric has just been turned all the way up. It's terrifying. And to your point about how beautiful the ballroom is going to be, you know, the President does everything with intention. If you take a look at how the President renovated the Oval Office and adding all these gold accents, you know, I was actually looking at an interview wrote most recently on social media and it came out that the President sees when he goes to other countries how beautiful the foreign leaders are living. They're living in opulence. They have all these beautiful ornate rooms and decorations. The President's like, that symbolizes power. We want to look powerful as well. So he does everything. So intentionally when foreign leaders come in, he wants to say, they want to say, wow, this is gorgeous. You know, this is a symbol of stature, like this president is as an actual leader and that's what the gold all means. And these people just don't understand that. Because if you take a look at the last Oval Office that we just had, whoa, night and day difference, honestly. I mean, I'll let the viewers look at the before and afters for themselves, but it was major difference. So the President wants to upgrade this White House, clearly, as it's still standing, wants to make it beautiful. And unfortunately, the left just cannot stand it.
Joe Bob
Yeah, I think the last Oval Office had a hospital bed in the corner. I'm not entirely sure if that's true, but that's what I heard. I just, I think. But also, that's a great point because, too, I mean, especially in a lot of, like, Middle Eastern countries, that's a real kind of thing. If they look at, you know, where, you know, the leader of the country lives. And it's kind of not the greatest thing in the world that actually has implications in how they deal with us as far as foreign policy goes. And maybe part of the reason that President Trump has been able to do so much in the Middle east is because he understands how a lot of the world leaders work and is able to communicate with them in a way that hasn't been done in the recent memory of the President of the United States. Maybe this is a good point, Mike. You bring up a. Bring up a valid, valid point. Monica Page, Turning Points White House correspondent, thanks so much for joining us. Really appreciate you taking the time.
Monica Page
Thanks, Joe.
Joe Bob
Bob, thank you. It is fascinating to see a presidential administration taking serious problems seriously with, obviously the drug cartels, but specifically to the illegal immigrants. I know we talk about this a lot. I fully recognize that. But the problem continues to be very, very bad. More specifically, because libs are doing their very best to make it harder for the administration to enforce the law by breaking laws themselves. I want to show you a pretty disturbing clip of a guy who is proud of what he's doing, which is incredibly illegal. Watch this clip and we will discuss.
Illegal Immigrant Tracker
This is an Apple airtag. What I've been doing is trying to get these on their vehicles so that way I can track where they're at and let people know before they get there. By the time we see a video on the Internet, it's already too late. We got to start early. We got to send up signals, start notifying people so that nobody gets taken. So again, right now, I'm not trying to engage with them. On a side note, most of them are lazy, untrained, just freaking weirdos. But away from that, I'm not trying to fight a or engage with them. I'm trying to track them. And at least maybe if they find these on their cars, it'll scare the heck out of them and let them know that people are watching. So yeah, man, I'm headed back through Santa Ana, back through the Home Depot, man. Let's go. Let's get it, baby. United we stand.
Joe Bob
Okay, so that to me sounds like a threat. You're trying to track ICE agents. What would you do with that information outside of impede federal, federal investigations and at worst do something terrible. It seems to me that that person who is doing something again, very, very illegal should be arrested and go to jail for a very long time specifically because it endangers pretty much everybody involved. And by the way too, if ICE agents are also concerned about their own safety, do you think that's going to make it easier for the people that they are arresting? Because all of the harassment is not going to deter ICE from job. It's just going to change how they do it. And if how they do it is has to be more aggressive because their lives are on the line, their lives are at stake because of idiots like this. Who do you think you're helping, dude? I'm fully confident that the administration will get on top of this. I hope they'll get on top of this. It would make the most sense to at the very least set a big example of this is not okay and something needs to be done about it. And more specifically speaking, and to a different topic that I'm sure of a story you've already heard of. Without divulging too much personal information, this happened very, very close to a place I'm very familiar with in Southern California. If ICE was able to do their job, maybe things like this won't continue to happen. I'm sure you've heard about the major accident on the 10 Freeway in Ontario, California, where a high or drunk, not entirely sure yet what he was on Illegal immigrant with a CDL for some reason just barreled through an entire line of cars killing three innocent people. Maybe if ICE was doing their job, maybe if ICE was able to do their job unimpeded by the crazy libs, stuff like this wouldn't keep happening. Can we play that news clip of this horrible tragedy with another illegal for some reason driving a big rig?
News Reporter
Now take a look. This is exclusive dash cam video that is now the subject of several law enforcement investigations shows the moment a red semi truck plowed into a number of vehicles on the westbound 10 Freeway in Ontario just after 1pm yesterday, the CHP told the LA Times the driver of this plan Big rig is a 21 year old man who is now under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. A total of four semis were involved and also four passenger vehicles, one of them exploding in flames. Three people were killed and four others were taken to local hospitals. This horrific crash happened just east of the 15 Freeway and shut down all westbound lanes for more than 12 hours. Thousands, thousands of drivers were trapped in the gridlock just as the evening commute was getting underway. It also happened near the Ontario airport, so the crash likely delayed people that were trying to get to their flights.
Joe Bob
Again, I don't want to divulge too much information, but I drove that very lane that that idiot blasted into people a couple days ago. Stories like this should make an impact. Libs will try to say, well this is an isolated incident. Yeah, but a ton of isolated incidents comb together form a statistic that is pretty concerning. And the idea that we wouldn't take this sort of stuff seriously as a country, and more specifically with libs, because obviously the administration is doing everything they're able to do is concerning, to say the least. Infuriating in so many other respects. The fact that this sort of thing is even possible to happen blows my mind. Sean Duffy, the Transportation Secretary, was quick to hop on this. If you remember last week he said, hey, we're withholding $40 million worth of transportation funding from the state of California because California gives people like this the ability to operate effectively weapons on the road. And so the administration seems entirely justified to say to California, hey, you can't do this. This is not okay. This is not acceptable. And in no way, shape or form one should these people be in the country to begin with. Giving them the ability to wreak havoc on the community is as insane as insane gets. I, you know, don't want to be too down because I know we usually are fairly light hearted, satirical and sarcastic on this show and I love the fact that we do that. But this is very close to home, both metaphorically and literally speaking and well, it concerns me. It can and it should concern pretty much everyone who is fearful of the fact that people who shouldn't be in the country and have no business driving big trucks like this are unfortunately doing so en masse thanks to policies put in place by states who just want to appeal to the tiny fraction of woke crazy people on the Internet. Once they find out that that is not the voting populace, I think elections are going to be even be they're going to be a bigger landslide in the next coming midterms because holy cow, people are sick of this. It is disgusting. It is tragic and awful and it needs to end. So with that next segment, I want to talk with you, Chris Hand again. Coming up to talk about Disney, is Disney redeemable? I know a lot of people canceled their Disney subscriptions, including myself because of some of the woke crazy stuff that they put on. Are they turning a new leaf with the idea that they're going to celebrate the United States? Or is it as the libs say, they're bending the knee to Trump? It's actually a pretty interesting discussion that I think we should have again with Chris Hand. Coming up after the break, tptposa.com is the email. Go subscribe to our YouTube channel. We will be right back after this. Don't go away.

Welcome back to Turning Point tonight where together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback. Email the show tptbosa.com subscribe to our YouTube channel where you won't find many woke clips of the Disney Company. Chris Hand joins us again to discuss whether or not one of the most lovable companies and content creators over the last several decades has gone by the wayside. Can they be redeemed? Chris Disney announcing that they are going to celebrate America Today. Walt Disney Company announced. This is from their own press release. Disney Celebrates America is a company wide celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States, beginning with Veterans Day 2025 and culminating July 4, 2026. The weekend there they will feature special programming, storytelling and experiences across the iconic brands to celebrate America. Chris, after all of the things that Disney has done, putting transgender, overweight, blue haired lesbians in children's programming, is this, what, what is this? Is this an attempt to actually move in the right direction? It is. Is it a nod to the people that they want to get back on their platform? What is going on here?
Chris Hand
Yeah. Oh yeah. I mean, they're trying to win people over. Actually. I actually know some people inside Disney and I heard through the grapevine that one of the things they're going to do is we all remember the man that was dressed like a princess at the Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique.
Joe Bob
Yeah.
Chris Hand
They're gonna dress him up like Betsy Ross and that it's really gonna be a great, a great ode to America. No, no, we don't forgive Disney. I'm not gonna forgive Disney. I hope that you won't forgive Disney. We have to keep our memories long. This country doesn't need a company like that. They don't celebrate America. They're doing this for months money. They're doing this because they're seeing all the Disney plus cancellations. They're doing this because they've been exposed time and time and time again. Let's not forget that they may be trying to bend the knee to patriots here, but this is after years of bending the knee to China. Do you remember when they bought Lucas films and they put out the new Star wars episode? You want to talk about an evil company? To get the movie released in China, they had to shrink the black character and put him in the back of the movie poster. This is Disney. All they care about is money. That's it. At the end of the day, that's what they worship. They don't worship the Lord. They don't fight for this country. They are worried about the bottom line and they're seeing that bottom line evaporate now. Because, you know, the cat ladies that are still going to the park don't exactly bring in revenue long term. They're making short term revenue, sure, but they're not cultivating those new fans I knew a guy, his name is Davey Lou. He. He started his own company, Can Do Kids, and he was one of the animators on Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, all these classic movies, Lion King. And he said in 1998. 1998, this is the reason he left the company. They were already working on transgender films.
Joe Bob
No.
Chris Hand
They have been trying to subvert this country and our kids since 1998. And you can probably go back even further than that, that this is not a time to accept their apologies, no matter how nicely they want to dress it up.
Joe Bob
Interesting. Wow. No. And that's a. That's. Those are all great points. I generally am the type of person that's like, hey, you know, if they're going to come around to the side of sanity and they fire all the people and bring in new people, which, again, I don't. I think probably take. I'm probably with you in the short term, in a decade or so, though, I would love to see, you know, the new kind of more patriotic faction that I think is taking hold in this country take place take hold in some of these big corporations. But, yeah, and I. I can agree with you that, especially right now, it's. It. It's too little, too late for so many people when it comes to.
Chris Hand
I might be a bit extreme, and I know a lot of people have fond memories of Disney, but I saw. I just like being a dad. And I know you're in the same boat. Like, it's so easy to see how the last generation of parents fell asleep at the wheel and to give a company that tried to subvert kids an inch back in the game. I can't do it. I think that we should be building something new, and I think we're in a unique spot right now as conservatives, where for so many years, it was like, oh, you don't like that? We'll start your own Disney. And it's like, now we're at a point where it's like, okay, we have. So I'd rather elevate those platforms, the Yippies, the Angel Studios, the Can Do Kids, rather than let these guys back into the public square with such an empty gesture. Because I feel like that's all this is, is just an empty gesture for money.
Joe Bob
And you know what's interesting, too, and this is probably an extended version of this conversation. All of their copyrighted materials coming up on the public domain. Remember, Steamboat Willie was launched into the public domain, despite Disney's best efforts to keep it away from that. And that was obviously super, super old. But as time goes on, more and more Disney stuff is going to start being public domain. And so all of the good stuff that they created can now be open to the public without giving a dollar to the mo, which will be really, really interesting to see over the course of the next several, several years and several decades.
Chris Hand
Yeah, and let's not forget some of their biggest titles were open, open to the public anyway. Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, you know, like all those movies, those are, those are free and clear. You can make your own version and you can make it better.
Joe Bob
Yeah, yeah. Interesting to say the least. Chris Hand, appreciate you taking the time and we'll see what happens. I do, I do like the fact that they're going this direction. Hopefully it can stay there for the next 25 years. Then maybe we might possibly consider feasibly giving him a second chance. We'll see. Probably not. Thanks for taking the time, Chris.
Chris Hand
Appreciate you guys.
Joe Bob

As you can see, I'm in the Houston area with Megyn Kelly on the Megyn Kelly tour. Which means that producer Glen has compiled several videos never before seen by me and possibly not even seen by you, in which we are going to watch and respond to in the hopes that Glenn has not compiled videos that will get us fired. So without further ado, producer Glenn, take it away. Show me your worst again without necessarily getting us canned or thrown off the air. Do you believe America is the best country in the world? No. No, no. If you were offered a one way ticket, all expenses paid to leave the country, would you? And where would you go? I actually don't know where I would go. I've had, I've had this thought before. But like, would you accept the offer? That would be so tricky to like switch up the way my life direction is. I wouldn't because all the people I care about are here. My life is here. I'm staying here. So. Okay, that is Bo Diddle. Big fan of Beau. Is America the greatest country in the world? No. Okay. Where is better? Well, nowhere. Okay, square those two thoughts with me. Of course. Thank you, Lips. You know, it's interesting too, just with the whole idea of how the news media thinks that they are being censored right now. The reality is we want libs to talk as much as they possibly can because again, the more they talk, the easier arguments are to make because you so often get clips like that. I'll stop rambling so we can play one more clip here. Take it away. If two different children are applying for college, let's say one is white and one is black and there's one slot available. Should they evaluate, be evaluated based on the same objective criteria, Test scores, for instance. Are you familiar with holistic admissions? They be held to the same standards regarding test scores. I am a proponent of holistic admissions. Just a yes or no question. Yeah, no, I can't answer that question for you as a proponent of holistic admissions. Got it. I'll take that as a no. Congressman Brandon Gill again for the dunking on the dumb live ideas. Yeah. Hey, don't be racist. That's all he's trying to say. Shouldn't be that difficult. Unless you're a lib, in which case it's very, very difficult. That's going to do it for us here at Turning Point tonight. If you're in the Texas area, would love to see you tonight, tomorrow or Saturday. See you tomorrow here on Real America's Voice. Monica Page
This is an iHeart podcast.
In this episode, host Joe Bob—broadcasting from a Texas hotel while on tour with Megyn Kelly—dives into current cultural and political battles in the U.S., focusing on the interplay between media narratives, educational trends, illegal immigration, drug cartel issues, and Disney’s attempt at a patriotic rebrand. Joined by guests Chris Hand and Monica Page, the panel offers commentary on mainstream media coverage of AI and Trump, Texas’s move to increase Bible-based curriculum in schools, the White House’s moves against drug cartels, and whether Disney can atone for its “woke” reputation.
Topic: The NYT publishes a piece about Trump’s use of AI-generated images for memes and social media.
Joe Bob’s Take: Strongly satirizing the NYT’s “serious” approach to clearly satirical Trump memes; emphasizes the comedic nature of political meme wars.
“The way that they dive into this makes it seem like they’re uncovering Watergate, like, ‘We are discovering. We are deciding what is AI and what’s not to bring to you, the people, the truth.’ And in reality, we all know it’s a joke.” — Joe Bob (05:05)
Memorable Examples: Fake AI images of Trump as a fighter pilot or with Elvis, ridiculed as obviously unreal.
Undercurrent: Mainstream media’s inability to distinguish or acknowledge satire among online political content; double standards in what narratives they deem dangerous.
Context: Texas expands Bible and Jesus references in public school English curriculum.
Chris Hand’s Perspective: Sees media outrage as hypocritical; supports the educational and historical value of Bible studies, questioning the consistency of left-leaning critics.
“It’s just another example of the hypocrisy of the left. How often are we told by leftists, ‘Jesus loves everybody, he gets us’? But now when we want to talk about Jesus, who loves everybody and gets us, it’s an issue.” — Chris Hand (17:36)
Joe Bob’s Angle: Argues Christianity’s influence is foundational to Western civilization; questions the notion that “separation of church and state” should preclude curriculum inclusion.
“Even if you didn’t have any sort of spiritual connection, just from a historical standpoint, every single big, powerful individual you read about in your social studies class was influenced by this guy and this book.” — Joe Bob (18:50)
Quotes & School Data:
Broader Point: Asserts secular critics target only Christian content, not teachings of Islam or Judaism, concluding the root is a disdain toward Christianity in the public sphere.
Monica Page’s Report: Outlines the White House’s task force on drug cartels leading to major fentanyl and narcotics seizures, and weapons removals.
“Since this task force was created, we’ve seen 2 million fentanyl pills off our streets... 70 tons of other narcotics... drug boats in the Caribbean be targeted and bombed, essentially.” — Monica Page (29:58)
Joe Bob’s Satire: Mocks media focus on White House ballroom renovations, quipping that critics compare it to dictatorial grandeur.
“We are getting dangerously close to, ‘Well, Adolf Hitler breathed oxygen. Trump breathes oxygen just like Hitler.’ How far away are we from that?” — Joe Bob (33:15)
Incidents:
“Stories like this should make an impact. Libs will try to say, ‘Well this is an isolated incident.’ Yeah, but a ton of isolated incidents comb together form a statistic that is pretty concerning.” — Joe Bob (40:49)
Policy Critique: Blames progressive state licensing laws for enabling dangerous situations, praises federal withholding of funds as necessary action.
Announcement: Disney proclaims a company-wide “Disney Celebrates America” initiative for the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Chris Hand’s Reaction: Dismissive, citing Disney’s past focus on “woke” content and placating foreign (Chinese) sensibilities. Argues this new effort is driven by profit and PR, not principle.
“We don’t forgive Disney... They’re doing this because they’re seeing all the Disney Plus cancellations... Let’s not forget that they may be trying to bend the knee to patriots here, but this is after years of bending the knee to China.” — Chris Hand (46:54, 47:49)
Discussion: Both hosts express skepticism about corporate motives and advocate supporting authentically values-centered alternatives instead.
Fun Fact: Disney’s classic properties (e.g., Beauty and the Beast) already based on public domain stories—so the “good stuff” may soon be available for others to use.
This episode of Turning Point Tonight delivers a comedic-yet-critical assessment of current mainstream narratives about AI, religion in schools, immigration, governmental action against cartels, and the authenticity behind Disney’s patriotic pivot. With guest insights and real-life examples, the hosts emphasize skepticism toward progressive outrage and praise for any resurgence of traditional values, all wrapped in sharp satire and energetic banter.
