This is an iHeart podcast. Tonight we will dive deep into the epidemic of liberal memory loss. An MSNBC host loses his mind in an on air breakdown of his mental facilities. And we're going to be joined by Danica Patrick, the great racing legend, to discuss many things among them. So sports betting, have the prop bettings gone too far? That'll make sense in just a little bit if you're watching my blinks. All that more coming up on this episode of Turning Point tonight. My name is Joe Bob. Together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback. This is Turning Point Tonight. So much to get to. But first, I gotta remind you, the email is tptpusa.com turning point tonight. That's what the TPT stands for. We love seeing each and every one of your emails@tptpusa.com also go subscribe to our YouTube channel. It is growing by leaps and bounds. By the way. Thanks to the team for getting on that. But there's exclusive content not seen on this show because we only have a limited amount of time and there's just too much to say each and every day. So you can go to our YouTube channel, Turning Point Tonight on YouTube. Subscribe there. Also our Rumble channel or X or I'm really bad at X. I would appreciate if you wouldn't follow it on X, that would be, that would be. That'd be so helpful. I've got all the other social media platforms figured out and except for X, I'm not entirely sure what's going on there, but you can see all of the exclusive content across the Internet that we can't squeeze into this show on all of our social media platforms for Turning Point tonight. This evening I would like to start off by highlighting a true American story. From rags to riches. A man who pulled himself up by his bootstraps was fending for himself on the streets. The only way he made it out of the slums was through sports. It was oftentimes he would go hungry at night. And that man who again suffered poverty at levels unseen by the modern American individual is none other than Gavin Newsom. The governor of California was very, very rich growing up, but he unfortunately suffered poverty just like everyone else, I'm told. I'm not sure. I don't know if this is confirmed or not. One time, the private jet he was on didn't even have wi fi and he had to suffer through that. And that suffering was painful and it was difficult. The governor of the poopiest state in the union did a podcast the Other day in which he outlined how terrible his life was growing up, how difficult it was. He blocks it out of his memory as we'll get to a quote in just a little bit. But I want you to watch this clip of Governor King Newsom lamenting on his childhood and how. How just poverty stricken he was and how difficult his upbringing ended up being. Watch this.

But also, you know, it was also about paying the bills, man. And it was just like hustling and. And so I was out there kind of raising myself, turning on the tv, started, you know, just getting obsessed, you know, sitting there with the, you know, the Wonder Bread and five stacks of.
Joe Bob
Like the white stacked five story.

Every day. Every day in the backyard, just bouncing the basketball, throwing the ball against the wall until the ball is just like fraying, man, and you. That's it. Whole thing. So just. And, and then, you know, then this student that was student is in the back with his head down all of a sudden started throwing the baseball a little faster than everyone else and started, you know, make a few free throws because I was sitting there practicing 500 of them every damn night. And in high school, I look up in the stands, my dad's back up there, okay, and it's like, man. And then he's bringing his friends and your captain of the team, and you're like, gee, you know, and it just saved me and it got me into college.
Joe Bob
Such a heartwarming story of a young black man and his upbringing and how he was able to avert poverty and get into college based on an athletic scholarship. Now, by the way, just going to clear some of the air here. Governor Newsom's grandfather was actually a founding member of Stanford, little known school up in the Bay Area. Not all that prestigious, just, you know, one of the most difficult schools to get into on planet Earth. His dad was also an attorney whose name was William Alfred Newsom iii. You know, of course, the projects, housing, that's a very common name, especially when you start adding thirds to it. His dad was the one of the big attorneys for the Getty family. J. Paul Getty died with $6 billion to his name, which is about $26 billion in 2024 numbers. But again, Gavin grew up in poverty, barely able to feed himself off of the streets of a predominantly white, very, very wealthy neighborhood. The Los Angeles Times said that Gavin Newsom's ascent was actually bankrolled. His politics was bankrolled by San Francisco's wealthiest families. Even Though he grew up on the streets fending for himself, only using sports to get out of the slums. The Gettys, the Pritzkers, the Fishers, who donated around $2.2 million to his campaigns since 1998. His dad is also a lifelong friend, again like I've said of the Getty Fund, who is about to $2 billion in fortune. But again, grew up on the streets. And you know when you grow up on the streets you often have, you still have to go to school and, and Governor Newsom's private school education from kindergarten to first grade and then third grade to fifth grade. Nowadays that school costs about $15,000. But again, he barely made it out of the slums of the wealthy areas of Northern California. But on top of that, he was a standout baseball player. He mentioned in that video that sports was the only way that got him out of the difficult and tragic situation that he found himself in. He went to Redwood High School, which is, if you don't know, in a wealthier neighborhood in Northern California. It's actually the average income there. Median household income is about $150,000 for that school in that district, which is about will double the national average. But again, the streets and poverty and finding Wonder Bread and Mac and cheese just to feed himself to survive. Interestingly enough, despite his meager upbringings, he was actually featured in 1991 in a magazine with the article entitled Children of the Rich. There you see a poor strapping young Gavin again in the early 90s who again was, was raised on the streets but also somehow ended up in this magazine article. But I would be remiss if he wouldn't talk about his baseball career a little bit more. Governor Newsom has prided himself on only being able to get into college because of a baseball scholarship. He says actually in his own words, he said that to our friend Charlie Kirk. This is not that clip, but here is a clip of Gavin Newsom saying exactly that. The only way that he was able to get into college was through baseball. Watch this.
Unidentified Narrator/Guest (possibly a fictional character)
I remember when I started getting good at baseball and basketball. That was where we reconnected and it's the only reason I got into four year college baseball and was a pretty good basketball player, better baseball player and got recruited to Santa Clara and that's. They kind of, that's. You kind of snuck in there. It's a nothing scholarship. Wasn't even about that. It was the ticket to a four year college.
Joe Bob
So not only did Gavin jump the line because he had terrible grades and was not very smart in high school. He did it because he was good at baseball. The only problem with that is, is, well, there's no record of Gavin Newsom ever playing a varsity baseball game at Santa Clara. Apparently he. He was scouted by the university and by pro teams, allegedly, but never actually made it to the. The number one slot in Santa Clara, which, by the way, isn't known to be like this baseball powerhouse. It'd be one thing if it was like, you know, Fullerton or Oklahoma or any of these, that, you know, that this college baseball program is just incredible. I. I could at least see that. But interestingly enough, yeah, there's no evidence that Gavin ever played at Santa Clara. He supposedly was on the practice squad for the first two years, but. But a guy who only got into college because of his baseball acumen didn't actually play baseball. Now, I'm not accusing him of a Varsity Blues type scandal because he, you know, he did have rich parents and, well, they could have bribed the coach to get him in on a baseball exemption. Maybe. But, you know, maybe it is the case that somebody as great as Gavin doesn't actually ever play baseball. But that didn't stop him from telling everybody that he was a phenomenal and fantastic baseball player. Then the mayor of San Francisco, Gavin, was invited to throw out the first pitch in a San Francisco Giants game. And this is how they announced the budding baseball player who never played. Watch this.
Danica Patrick
He played first base for the University of Santa Clara and was drafted by the Texas Rangers. Joining members of the San Francisco Junior Junior Giants program, please welcome the 42nd mayor of the city and county of San Francisco, the honorable Gavin Newsom.
Joe Bob
Not where they sure where they got that information. Like we said, there's no evidence that he ever actually played at Santa Clara. And yet the announcer very confidently said he played first base at Santa Clara University and was drafted by the Texas Rangers. I wonder where they got that crazy little notion there. Now, just to be clear, the San Francisco Chronicle and Calmatters did confirm that, no, he was not drafted at any point, but they confirmed that. I think five years after that video took place in 2009, they said, well, no, he was simply scouted by the team. And if that's the threshold, same Gavin, I unfortunately am going on my 15th year, undrafted into the NFL despite being scouted heavily by all the teams. That won't confirm any of my accusations of being scouted by that team. But interestingly enough, he did throw the first pitch. And just. It's just funny how the how that video went. Watch. Does this look like a guy who got drafted by a major league baseball team? Check out this next clip. Producer Glenn adding some fun music there that I did not know about. But very, very funny. All that's to be said, the strapping young man from the rich area of Northern California was the poorest rich person according to him. But considering that none of the story lines up, I'm not even sure if that's true. There are some floating quotes out there. Um, this is un. This is an unconfirmed quote. I don't actually know if he says this, but some reports suggest that Gavin was once said that his driver said traffic was so bad that the helicopter to the Hamptons was actually the only option of getting there. There's a tragic landing. Not in a bad way, in any shape or form. The helicopter was fine, but the pad at the summer house was 2 inches too narrow, so the new rotors couldn't fit and they had to land 400 yards away. And the neighbors saw and criticized him for not having the appropriate helicopter pad. Also, again, unconfirmed. I don't know if this actually happened, but Gavin also possibly lamented that his butler Jeeves ironed the cashmere blankets on 100% cotton setting and the blankets shrunk. And I already mentioned this in the beginning, but there are reports that Gavin Newsom's private plane sometimes doesn't have WI fi and he has to sit there and look at the clouds. Like I said, it is a rough life. Now, despite all of the rough life that Governor Newsom has had to endure, the difficulty, the hardship, at least we have some footage of the good works that he has done. Governor Newsom has been a champion for. Has been a champion for the lesser among us, the poverty stricken, the people that don't know that sports can be an option out of project housing. We actually do have a clip of Governor Newsom teaching the poor communities around the state of California how they too might follow his lead and get out of the slums. Watch this.

You must understand, these people had been completely isolated from civilization. No one had ever outlined a physical fitness program for them. And they had no athletic equipment. I started them on simple calisthenics, then gradually worked them up to rudimentary game skills and finally advanced competitive theory. I was patient with them and they were eager to learn. They seemed to enjoy themselves. It was probably due to the advanced American teaching techniques that we were able.
Larry O'Donnell
To bridge the generations of isolation and.

Communicate so successfully with the Malambo. I think they're Getting the hang of it.
Joe Bob
Wow. So encouraging, so bold, so brave of the governor. I can already read your emails. That doesn't look like him. I get it. I just, you know, I'm going off of what the Internet says. That, that I do think is Governor Newsom teaching the poorer among us how to again, follow his pathway to success and use sports as a way to get out of project housing. I'm not, honestly, not entirely sure what, what we're doing here. That's kind of like a mix of satire and all things that are definitely true. Uh, but the video that we played at the beginning was 100% true. Governor Newsom is attempting to paint himself in a way that says, I was just like each and every one of you. I might as well have been growing up in a hut on the beach somewhere and thankfully able to immigrate to the United States of America. Which is, which actually is my dad's story. So maybe, I don't know. There's some, there's, there's a little bit of. I, I understand where Gavin is coming from again, being the richest poor guy, sorry, the poorest rich guy in his neighborhood. We got a ton to get to here on Turning Point tonight. Next up, we're going to talk to Danica Patrick about, among other things, sports betting. Has it gone too far? The prop bets, are they too much? If you're watching this and you saw me blink, don't bet the under. I'll say that. We also got some hilarious, also crazy clips of some teachers who are under fire after their comments got them fired surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination, which I've continued to say, and I maintain that more people should have gotten fired for the way they handled that. And a ton more to get to, including a crazy, crazy headline, an MSNBC person loses his mind on air and memory loss. It's affecting libs at alarming rates. And we need to solve what is going on in this epidemic of people forgetting anything that happened prior to President Trump coming into office. All that more coming up on this episode of Turning Point tonight. TPTP USA.com is the email address. You can email us anytime. Also, go subscribe to our YouTube channel, where you see unseen, never before seen footage that can't fit into this show. We'll be right back after the break. Don't go away.

Welcome back to turningpoint Tonight, where together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback, generally through the mockery of terrible lib ideas. TPTP USA.com is the email. If you'd like to send us an email. We love all emails. Doesn't matter if you agree with everything we've ever said on the show or you're wrong, we love all the emails. TPTP USA.com also subscribe to our YouTube channel where you get to see unseen content that we just can't squeeze in to the short time that we have here on Real America's Voice. That being said, if you've noticed, I've been blinking several times during this show and that is so that anyone who bet the over on how many times I blink on this show will hopefully make money. Unless of course I stop blinking entirely and I just, I can't even do the whole thing. But that'll make sense in just a little bit from a prop betting standpoint. But here to talk about sports betting, among other things is the great Danica Patrick. Danica, thank you so much for joining us. Really appreciate you taking the time.
Danica Patrick
Yes, thank you.
Joe Bob
You're really upsetting people who bet the under. Moving that line is going to going to be very detrimental. Some finances.
Danica Patrick
I got to make some side money.
Joe Bob
I would love so going to talk about the sports betting but before that, just really quickly. First of all, we're all watching the World Series. We're all seeing the World Series. I for one am not a huge fan of the fact that America's pastime is taking place in a foreign nation in Canada. But considering all of the things that were happening last week, I think on Friday show we talked about the Canadians cutting up Reagan speech. President Trump got all mad about that and rightfully so in my opinion. We kind of, I Assume there would possibly be some booing at the national anthem. We didn't really see that up in Toronto, I guess, broadly speaking. What. What does that mean? Does that. Because usually, you know, Canadians are really, like, up in arms about the whole 51st states joke and all of that stuff. Why didn't they boo the national anthem?
Danica Patrick
Well, maybe they're on board with the 51st state idea. They're starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe they're thinking this is a brighter day for us because obviously, you know, without that, we see that there's probably some level of understanding maybe for something bigger that's going on. And I have to tell you that when I travel and go to different places that. And speak to people from other countries and am around people from other countries, you don't know how many times people whisper in my ear from England and Canada and various different countries, they're like, we love what you're doing. And they whisper it like, oh, my God, if anyone were to hear me, I would be banished. So I think there's probably an understanding that, you know, Donald Trump is an incredible businessman and an incredible negotiator, and obviously he's getting away with that 10% hike.
Joe Bob
There's, you know, it's actually interesting, as you were talking about, I'm thinking, well, the type of person that would actually care that much feels like they probably can't afford World Series tickets. And the people that can probably have a little bit of business sense about them, so maybe that's. Maybe they understand the world a little bit better. I don't know. Do you have any thoughts on that theory before we move on?
Danica Patrick
Maybe I was kind of thinking that, you know, the 10% hike is not such a big deal because Justin Trudeau's new girlfriend is so rich that he doesn't need this extra money to go to, you know, to go to fancy places anymore. However, I saw that they were. They were in Paris together, and they were exiting a place called Crazy Horse, which is crazy because that's kind of like a naked burlesque place. So that's a hard launch.
Joe Bob
Wow. That. I didn't know that that's where they. I didn't know they were in Paris. The only reason, because the last I've.
Danica Patrick
Been there, that's how I know I've been there.
Joe Bob
That's. I hope you're not revealing something about yourself, but, you know, I'm not full.
Danica Patrick
Launching a relationship, walking out of a place like that.
Joe Bob
Well, they were spotted off the coast of California to which I called then for the immediate deportation of Justin Trudeau. Why is he in this country? Is he seeking asylum from the mess that he created?
Danica Patrick
He's marrying in, marrying in.
Joe Bob
That, that shouldn't be allowed. He should have to go through the process like everybody else. So I'm, I'm really curious about your take here. Big news. Lots of sports betting is going on, specifically in the NBA. You know, obviously, as somebody who is very, very intimately acquainted with the sports world, I guess more broadly speaking, and you not to, not to get you in any specifics here. How is this like a one off thing or is this something that people kind of knew that happened in your world but you know, the good people obviously stayed out of it and then, you know, the folks that everybody kind of knew were take taking part in it, were taking part in how. What is this like in the actual sports world at the level that you were at?
Danica Patrick
Well, I mean, betting in sports has been going on forever. Isn't this like the big Pete Rose drama and things like that? I'm not excellent at my stats in history, but like sports betting has been going on forever and ever before. It was able to be done by the masses and in a legal fashion. So there's always going to be a nature to betting that is gambling and dangerous. And I mean, I went out there every weekend and gambled my life, you could say. So, you know, these athletes, they were so used to such big dopamine hits. And you know, I know from my own personal experience, like I don't really gamble. I was told not, you know, at one point that Vegas wasn't built on winners. And that is true. I remember one night sitting down at a blackjack table and winning like a few thousand dollars and like feeling like so excited. And I'm thinking this is a whisper on the wind of what I get paid to, you know, work for an hour at a speaking engagement. So, you know, the numbers that we're talking about from these guys too, having, you know, Terry's income overall being like 160 million and Chauncey's being like 100, you know, hundred million, that is, you know, we're talking about like a couple million bucks, few million dollars or a few hundred thousand dollars in some situations. This goes beyond obviously being about making money and this is a thrill. What's very interesting is how many of the New York Mafia families were involved within this, which, you know, then makes me curious about leverage and what else was going on and how, how that all intertwines with It. But gambling's been going on forever and athletes are always going to be wired for high dopamine moments.
Joe Bob
So that's actually really interesting. So you're saying that it's probably pretty much just the, the thrill of gambling. It's not that, you know, they wasted $100 million because we've also seen, you know, like the Allen Iverson situation where all of the hundreds of millions of dollars he made is just gone now because of bad spending.
Danica Patrick
Your athletes are known for having the best relationship with money. And especially, you know, younger athletes when they start, they, they tend to not be very responsible.
Joe Bob
But you think it's the, it's the thrill of it. It's not necessarily that they were irresponsible with money. It's that they just need whatever it is that gives them that rush.
Danica Patrick
Well, they don't need the money because they have the money. So that's, that eliminates it. The thrill, the dopamine hit, the exhilaration. It's like, you know, anything that's thrilling is going to give you that hit. So shoot. It could come with relationships, girls cheating, I don't know, God knows, like the limits and edges of what could be, you know, partake in their world or leverage or there was something else going on behind the scenes that, you know, they have leverage on that they needed to have a front for to lure them in to help them with the betting and get being involved. And, you know, I don't know, that's a lot more behind the scenes stuff. But I can tell you from the outside looking in that, you know, I think that that, that exhilaration rush has probably got to be some of it or maybe, maybe was the impetus for it. And maybe that spiraled.
Joe Bob
That is so interesting. I'm glad I asked. I. Okay, so in, in the betting world.
Danica Patrick
I don't bet, by the way, like.
Joe Bob
I said, I'm not a bet in the betting world. And I'm really just, I'm curious about, you know, because obviously this has become a big thing with that Supreme Court law that effectively made it legal everywhere. In your opinion. I mean, where do you see the prop bets, right? Because it's one thing to bet on, you know, the line or who wins and loses, but like, okay, if LeBron James dribbles three times before he shoots the ball the first time in the second quarter, then, you know, it goes off the crazy rails on that. Is that, is that too much or is it, is it just, hey, you know, you do your thing. Wow.
Danica Patrick
I mean, maybe there does need to be some threshold for that, because some of those are obviously able to be pretty. Pretty manufactured, you know, what nail polish someone's gonna wear, you know. But I think that. I think people are always gonna find a way. And obviously, if it exists right now, it'll exist behind the scenes. So it might just be better to keep things in the open. That way, they're subject to a more lawful address of how it's handled. Because for some people on the other side of this, this is real money. I don't know if the person that lost $1.8 million, apparently, in one hand or one night of gambling that he was hustled for with all of their crazy, crazy, you know, x ray contacts and, you know, tricks and things like that, to know what cards are coming next. I don't know if that was everything to him, but let this be a lesson to not bet anything that you aren't willing to lose.
Joe Bob
You are making me think twice about definitely jokes that I was going to make around. Turning Point is obviously doing a halftime show counter programming. I know there's a lot of bets that go in the halftime show. There's, like, the length of the national anthem. And I was thinking, if I see myself involved in any of those bets of, like, what shirt I'm gonna wear, it would be pretty tempting to not throw some money into something that I probably have some pretty good insight towards. But I. I think, Danica, you're steering me on the right track of not doing that. But maybe.
Danica Patrick
Well, I mean, when you engage in people that are high achievers, high performers doing dangerous things, and then you add gambling into the mix, like, this is just par for the course. Like, you know, this is, like, very in your nature to gamble some more. So, you know, I definitely, you know, there's plenty of drivers along the way that were interested in it, or we'd go to a city that had, you know, gambling, and, you know, they love to go gamble. So. So, yeah, you're kind of. This is. This is in our. This is in an athlete's wheelhouse to be involved in gambling. I mean, look at how the card games on, you know, athletes, you know, there's plenty of sports where they play a lot of card games on the airplanes going to and from games. I almost called him races, but, shoot, they probably did it with races, too. So, you know, this is. This is. This is a natural transition for so many.
Joe Bob
Wow, that is. That is so interesting. I'm super excited we got your perspective, Danica, like always. Thanks for joining us. I know this is the first time since, you know, Charlie's passing. I started very briefly at the memorial, but really appreciate you continuing to kind of put up the good fight as exactly, you know, what Charlie would have wanted long term. So really appreciate you doing that.
Danica Patrick
Yeah, well he was a one of one and I think it's going to not to put any of us down, but it's going to take a whole lot of us doing a lot of things to make up that difference. And but there's a lot of people that are ready and willing to do that and I'm one of them.
Joe Bob
Yeah. Awesome. And it's again, exactly what he would have wanted. Danica Patrick, thank you so much for joining us. Really appreciate you taking the time.
Danica Patrick
Thank you. Good to see you.

Welcome back to Turning Point tonight where together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback. TPTPUSA.com is the email address. Also go subscribe to our YouTube channel or a rumble page or X or Facebook X. By the way, I think I've mentioned this a couple times. I for some reason can't figure out that platform. All the other platforms are doing fantastically well. X it can eat some work. So if you have the opportunity go follow me on those platforms and our YouTube channel where you see unseen never before seen footage because we can't, we just can't fit all of the things we want to talk about in the small segment of time that we thankfully have here on Real America's Voice this is I. This. Okay. I recognize what we do a lot here is talk about things that libs are doing and saying and bring them to you. And I think that's important because it's good to know what your enemy is doing. Sun Tzu would probably say, know your enemy better than you know yourselves and you will always win. And not probably. Sam, he, he did say that. And we won't continue to quote Sun Tzu here because I can't think of it off the top of my head because I don't have a brain like Charlie did and that's not something that I'm able to do. But anyways, aside from that point, I like bringing to you different articles and headlines brought about by the lib media. This one in particular is something kind of along the theme that we've been talking about consistently here on this show. And it says this, this is from the New Republic. Trump keeps attacking Americans. Why does he get away with it? Republicans can insult half the country without consequences. Democrats say deplorables once and never heard the end of it. Now, it is interesting knowing that this stuff kind of exists, knowing that people will write this seriously and also not know what's wrong. Now, I don't necessarily want to dive a ton into the inaccuracies with this, but I think the broader level, language oriented argument that we've talked about so many times on this show is that it's different calling somebody a dunderhead or a blue hair or crazy than it is calling them Hitler or a Nazi or a fascist or white supremacist. Things that actually mean something and people can take to mean something very, very detrimental and damaging. Was President Trump posting a video of him in a fighter plane dumping, pun intended, excrement on blue cities? You know, super presidential. I don't know. I'm not one to say he's the president. He can do whatever he wants. But guess what? That was a meme. We all knew that was a meme. And to say that while this is seriously thinks like this now as a joke, he's a funny guy. We've talked so many times on this show about. President Trump is effectively a standup comedian. He goes around and tours the country and sometimes his jokes land, sometimes they don't land as well. And he'll work on it and he'll tweak it. He'll make it to the point where those jerk jokes actually do work. But also, let me just advise you with some statistics where the media actually is claiming that their victims constantly is well, honestly, hilarious. 92% negative coverage in the first hundred days of President Trump's second term from abc, cbs, NBC Evening News, uh, the same in the Biden administration's first hundred days in 2021 was actually 59% positive. So 92% negative, 59% positive coverage from those same outlets. ABC, NBC, CBS, again with 92% negative coverage during the last presidential campaign, From June of 2024 to October of 2024, Trump received, and this is not surprising to anybody, 85% negative coverage from those same outlets, while Kamala Harris received 78% positive press, uh, in the first hundred days in 2017, 82% of his coverage from the New York Times was negative. The Washington Post's coverage was 83% negative. The point being that the media covers the Trump administration is, you know, all of this already unbelievably negative across all different objective metrics. And then claims, like claims, headlines like this one that we brought up initially. Can we show that again? How does Trump keep attacking Americans? Why does he keep getting. Why does he get away with it? Because when somebody calls somebody dumb and silly, one is just accurate, it's factually true. But two, it's not the same thing of how the libs attack what conservatives are doing. It's if you phrase something in a way that says, well, if they do this, that means they're trying to actively hurt people. Yeah, it's going to look worse. And the reason that Trump, quote unquote gets away with it is because a lot of times he's joking. It what? Find me a president who's able to negotiate with both sides of the political aisle, like President Trump was able to do. Remember, Barack Obama's, all of his big plans was able to peel off like one or two rhino senators in, in most cases, he wasn't willing to negotiate with the other side in the way that President Trump is. And you know, that's good or bad in certain circumstances. Obviously, we're not going to parse all of the different nuances that come with that. But the idea that the libs don't understand what it is that they're doing, we should all know. We should all know that that's what they think. We should all know that they think they're the victims. They think they are under attack because President Trump uses colorful language to describe them. Uh, what's not happening is that they are equated to among the most evil people in human history. That's what they're doing to us. So there's that Speaking of one of the most evil people in human history, which I guess is, I don't know, maybe a little bit ironic. But also, I do actually think this. This is a. This is utterly indefensible in so many ways. A teacher in the. Georgia. The state of Georgia, a woman named Michelle Mickens, was fired from her job after she posted something demeaning. The character of my friend and yours, Charlie Kirk. Now she is suing the school, hoping to get her jobs back, among many other damages undisclosed at the time. We don't know how much money she's trying to get back. Um, but she wrote this on her Facebook page, which. Okay, I'll. I'll get to the. Why this is ridiculous in a second. Uh, she said this about Charlie. He was a horrible person, a fascist, full of hate for anyone who was different. Obviously, things that aren't true. Um, while I'm sad that we live in a country where gun violence is an epidemic. Oh, yeah. Not political assassinations. It's gun violence. That's. That's the problem. Uh, the world is a bit safer without him. To which I would ask, how. How. How did Charlie make the world more dangerous, by the way? What power did he have? Am I missing something? I. I know he was on the board of the Air Force Academy, but at the. I can almost guarantee you that board doesn't have a ton of say in the everyday lives of everyday Americans. You know who does have power? The people in power. I just. I don't know. Maybe I'm unaware that Charlie Kirk had more legislative power than a guy who wasn't elected, who didn't hold, actually any office and was just using words and ideas. But let's just say, Ms. Minkin, uh, if you think that ideas are dangerous and therefore should be met with force, I don't think that makes you fit to be an English teacher. Actually, I think I commented on this New York Post article saying, hey, they should. They should fire her. Yes, because of the things she said, and they're horrible, and you shouldn't be teaching children. But also because you don't know what the word fascism means. I made the joke several times when we were on the road. There would be signs of people protesting outside saying, Charlie Kirk is a fascist. And then he would go inside and give people who he disagreed with a microphone, which, like I said, would have Mussolini rolling in his grave. This is terrible fascism. Do you have no idea how to do the fascism? Crazy also, too. You know, it probably should be stated, yeah, free speech exists in this country, and at the same time, you know, a lot of people are amplifying this lady's free speech. I can't get that to happen. Uh, so maybe I wish my speech was that free. Maybe a little bit convoluted, maybe a little bit hard to understand what I'm getting at there. But the bottom line is, yeah, free speech exists, but freedom from the consequences of that speech does not. And this lady who's seeking undisclosed, unspecified damages from the school, I hope that she does not get them. I hope she's not continue teaching kids in our publicly funded education with ideas and thoughts like that. And I hope nobody pays attention to her. Let's see, we've, we've got a great clip from msnbc, Larry o', Donnell, who I think doesn't like being called Larry. His name is Lawrence. And as a guy with a funny name, I get to make fun of other people with names that they don't like to be called. That's a, that's a, this is an advance. It's a privilege that I have. But we will play that hilarious clip and then highlight some of the irony coming up after the break. TPTP USA.com is the email you can subscribe to our YouTube channel. Would love to see you there. Don't go away. We'll be right back after the break.

Welcome back to Turning Point tonight where together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback, mostly through the mockery of terrible library ideas. TPTP USA.com is the email address. Send us an email whatever is on your mind, what's on your heart to say. Doesn't matter if you agree with everything we've ever said on the show or you're wrong. We love seeing each and every one of your emails@the tptp USA.com email address. Also go subscribe to our YouTube channel because we got exclusive content there that you can't see on the TV because there's too much stuff to talk about, too little time to talk about. It is often myself and producer Glenn ranting about things that either upset us or irritate us or we love, but not entirely TV appropriate. So YouTube TBT turning point tonight on our YouTube channel, also Rumble, also X, also Facebook, also all of the social media platforms you can find that exclusive content. You know, part of the addition to the show's kind of mantra or logo is charting the course of America's cultural comeback through the mockery of terrible lib ideas or terrible libs themselves. Lawrence o' Donnell is one of the funnier people on the TV network, the mainstream media now. He's not trying to be funny, he just kind of is. There's a lot of people like that on the lib side of the aisle where they say things totally serious in their very, very discerning tones of this is bad. And then all of us with, you know, brains and a decent amount of thought behind it tend to laugh at those people. Well, this is one of those instances. Larry o' Donnell also goes by Lawrence, I guess, who's by the way, if you Google him, his, his first thing that pops up is he's an actor, which is, you know, just something in and of itself. I'm not necessarily downplaying people that also participate in the arts, but that's probably not the first thing that should be on the host of an MSNBC shows. Chiron when it comes on, comes up on Google. But anyways, he led us into part of the world that he exists in in describing how terrible it is that another network dares show another opinion that isn't his own. Watch this meltdown. It is delicious. Check this out.

And now CNN eagerly pays a Trump supporter to lie on CNN every day and night for Donald Trump. CNN did this during the first Trump presidential campaign and presidency. CNN regularly paid Trump supporters to lie about Trump on cnn. But the CNN regime then realized that was a mistake and they stopped doing it. They stopped paying for lies. But then CNN got a new head. The head of CNN for the last three years, hired by the Trump supporting owner and operator of CNN is an Englishman who thinks paying Scott Jennings to lie about Donald Trump is money very well spent. Scott Jennings, who used to be an aide to Senator Mitch McConnell, was not always a rabid, lying Trump supporter. When he first started appearing on television, he was capable of criticizing some of the more extreme Trump positions. But Scott Jennings figured out where the money is and how he could get his own podcast and decided to become the J.D. vance of CNN. Here's how bad that television is that they make over there. The show that Scott Jennings frequents the most is on opposite this program. And that show, on a good night, gets half, half of the audience of this show. This program usually has an audience triple the size of the terrible, terrible television that Scott Jennings is delivering on. The absurdly degraded version of cnn, presided over by the man who thinks lying for Donald Trump on TV is an honorable pursuit and should be paid for by cnn.
Joe Bob
Oh, bad I cheese maybe I should go over to cnn. I'm doing this stuff for free. Not really, but you know, there actually is a more of a cost to speaking the truth than there is actual price, profit. And I think Scott himself will tell you exactly that. Hey, I've lost family and friends and I almost guarantee income over the fact that I won't, I won't actually lie to the American people about, you know, really anything. But it's fascinating there. So one of my favorite parts about that particular clip is that there's no, no evidence he didn't actually show anything. He just says Scott Jennings, who by the way, is a friend of the show, he's been on the, been on this show and has talked to us. Very, very nice and genuine guy. He is the worst. And to prove this, I will offer up zero proof or evidence that Scott Jennings is the worst. I won't even say one particular lie that he's ever actually said. I just trust that you folks who watch this channel for some reason on MSNBC will believe me when I tell you that that guy is a liar. The idea that diversity of opinions is not welcome on channels like MSNBC was no greater, was not great. There was no bigger example of that than when Rona McDaniel, who to conservatives, I don't entirely know that she's a conservative, that, that just let's putting that in perspective of how we conservatives think of her. Remember when NBC hired her, this is the fallout from when they hired the most milquetoast squishy conservative to their NBC network. NBC News reversed its decision to hire former Republican national committee chairwoman Rona McDaniel As a political analyst after network executives faced a chorus of fierce on air criticisms, including those from Lawrence o'. Donnell. There's a bunch of B roll here, probably showing a bunch of the other people that said, no, we cannot have Rona on our network, but we don't have time to get to all of it. But the bottom line here is that it is interesting on Fox News, on some of the more conservative platforms, whenever you have a panel, you happen to have people that disagree with each other. On any of the MSNBC panels, any of the actually, other than the CNN panel that Scott Scott Jennings is on, all of them sit there and agree with each other. Yeah, I think Trump is the worst. Do you think Trump is the worst? Yeah, I think Trump is the worst. Do you think Trump is the worst? Yeah. Interestingly enough, I also think Trump is the worst. If you don't adhere to the ridiculous ideology, if you don't toe the line, you're all of a sudden the worst thing in the world. I will provide no examples, says Larry o', Donnell, but you just have to trust me. Which is why people are leaving those networks in droves. Speaking of people leaving the networks, there is an epidemic of lib memory loss. We are going to get to the bottom of why they can't seem to remember anything that they themselves have said. After the break. Don't go away.

Appreciate welcome back to Turning Point tonight where together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback. TPTPUSA.com is the email. Also, I've got an email saying I say that too fast. It is right down Below here on the little Chiron but TPT turning point tonight@tpusa.com love seeing each and every one of your emails. When you get the opportunity to send them, give us your thoughts, comments, concerns, even criticisms. We're not libs. We don't censor dissent. Even though you are wrong. Tptpsa.com also our YouTube channel is blowing up. We got a fantastic team that's behind all of that, producer Glenn included. And we'd love for you to join us there on the YouTube channels as well as Rumble as well as all the social media platforms. They just go to YouTube in my head for some reason first. But all of the social media platforms you can get an exclusive sneak peek behind the scenes each and every day. What it is that we're talking about, what can't fit into the show, but only on our social media platforms. Also, I haven't mentioned this a ton if you probably know, because I've probably mentioned it a little bit. I happen to be on tour with Megyn Kelly right now. Megan was so kind in allowing Turning Point to have a presence there in the wake of Charlie's assassination. He was supposed to do one of the events on the tour, but the tour revs up starting next week. Wednesday we're in White Plains, New York. Thursday we're in Jacksonville, Florida. Then Miami on Friday and then Saturday, Saturday to Duluth, Georgia. If you happen to live in any of those areas and you would like tickets either, message me on social media. Maybe, maybe we'll be giving some free tickets away. But also those are for sale at Megyn Kelly's website and you will see me. And if you, if you see me in person, real life, like I've mentioned all the time, come up and say hello. I love seeing, seeing each and every one of you out and about in the real world. But that is happening over the course of the next several weeks. This next week, not, not tomorrow. Next week. Tomorrow is actually going to be fascinating. You're going to get a repeat of an event earlier in the day with Vice President J.D. vance and Erica Kirk at Ole Miss, which is going to be moving to say the least. Having not seen it yet, I can just imagine that that is going to be the case. Anyways, we need to talk about the epidemic of lib memory loss. If you are suffering from memory loss by not remembering any of the things that you've said previously in the past, ask adult doctor if I don't know Red pilling is right for you. This is a clip put together by our Friends over at Libs of TikTok that just so well encompasses the lib mindset and the lib mentality. It's rather long, so we'll. We'll suffer through it together. There's a lot of people here that are going to be talking, saying, saying some things that, well, apparently, no, none of them remember ever saying. But I know that a lot of them are insufferable. But it makes sense in terms of humor and entertainment to watch it in its entirety. Play cut three. Glenn.
Larry O'Donnell
I haven't suggested that Donald Trump is Hitler. I wouldn't.
Announcer/Commercial Voice
I don't think any Democrat has.
Joe Bob
I actually.
Danica Patrick
It is deeply troubling and incredibly dangerous that Donald Trump would invoke Adolf Hitler, the man who is responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews.
Joe Bob
How can you possibly compare what happened.
Larry O'Donnell
In Germany in World War II to.
Joe Bob
What'S going on here in the United States?
Larry O'Donnell
We're talking about the death of a constitutional republic.
Joe Bob
That's what happened in Germany.
Larry O'Donnell
1933, 1934. And we're seeing today that you've got an administration in Washington that's ignoring court.
Danica Patrick
Orders in this rogue.
Joe Bob
Actually, Glenn, sorry, this. This is a little bit too long. We. Can we speed this up here to get through all of the times that libs have called the president of the United States Hitler or referenced that. Let's keep going. Justice going out to do the bidding.
Danica Patrick
Of this Timu Hitler.
Announcer/Commercial Voice
For sure.
Joe Bob
Faster, faster. We got it. We got it. We got to go. Lightning speed. There's too many libs calling him Hitler too many times. Go. Keep going. Keep, keep running. Keep faster. Faster, Faster, faster, faster. There's no way we can get through all of these times that Nicole Wallace doesn't remember.
Announcer/Commercial Voice
Very old and a racist and a neo Nazi.
Danica Patrick
Comparing the tactics of Donald Trump to Mussolini and Hitler is a very legitimate thing.
Joe Bob
We must get to the bottom of lib memory loss. It is an epidemic that is sweeping this nation that we must grapple with. And I do think if you suffer from lib memory loss, ask your doctor about red pilling. It could help you remember all the times that you said things that you claim you never said. That'll do it for us here at Turning Point tonight. Really appreciate you tuning in, taking the time. Erica Kirk and J.D. vance will be live from Ole Miss tomorrow. You're not going to want to miss that. We together will see you Thursday. God bless America. This is an I Heart podcast.
In this episode of Turning Point Tonight, host Joe Bob delves into two major themes: the allegedly exaggerated “rags to riches” narrative of California Governor Gavin Newsom, and the ongoing culture of memory loss and selective outrage among liberal media personalities. Joe Bob also brings on racing legend Danica Patrick for a candid conversation about the normalization and risks of sports betting, including the psychology behind it. Throughout, Joe Bob’s signature tone blends sarcasm, skepticism, and a satirical edge, consistently challenging mainstream liberal narratives and highlighting what he calls “America’s cultural comeback.”
[00:00 – 13:41]
Memorable Quote:
“The governor of the poopiest state in the union... suffered poverty just like everyone else, I’m told.”—Joe Bob [01:09]
[17:07 – 29:02]
Notable Exchange:
Joe Bob: “You think it’s the thrill of it. It’s not necessarily that they were irresponsible with money.”
Danica Patrick: “Well, they don’t need the money because they have the money. The thrill, the dopamine hit, the exhilaration...” [24:10–24:20]
[30:19 – End]
“The media covers the Trump administration… unbelievably negative across all different objective metrics. And then claims, like claims, headlines like this one that we brought up initially. How does Trump keep attacking Americans? Why does he get away with it?”—Joe Bob [32:30]
“If you think that ideas are dangerous and therefore should be met with force, I don’t think that makes you fit to be an English teacher.” [35:04]
“One of my favorite parts about that particular clip is that there’s no, no evidence. He didn’t actually show anything. He just says Scott Jennings...he is the worst. And to prove this, I will offer up zero proof or evidence...” [44:47]
On Newsom’s Privilege:
“Gavin Newsom’s grandfather was actually a founding member of Stanford... Not all that prestigious, just, you know, one of the most difficult schools to get into on planet Earth.”—Joe Bob [03:56]
Danica on athlete psychology:
“These athletes… were so used to such big dopamine hits. And you know, I know from my own personal experience, like I don’t really gamble…Vegas wasn’t built on winners.”—Danica Patrick [22:01]
On liberal panel shows:
“Do you think Trump is the worst? Yeah, I think Trump is the worst. Do you think Trump is the worst? Yeah. Interestingly enough, I also think Trump is the worst. If you don’t adhere to the ridiculous ideology…you’re all of a sudden the worst thing in the world. I will provide no examples, says Larry O’Donnell, but you just have to trust me.”—Joe Bob [46:00]
This episode skewers Gavin Newsom’s hardship narrative, critiques the shifting sands of liberal memory and outrage, and offers an insider’s take on the psychology of sports betting through an engaging interview with Danica Patrick. Highlights include mockery of media echo chambers (with a particular focus on MSNBC/MSM), sharp digressions into pop culture and politics, and a consistent call for critical engagement and open debate—often punctuated with humor, sarcasm, and Joe Bob’s personal brand of skepticism.
