Your mom gate is in full fledged panic breakdown mode. The New York Times with another hilarious article that we will obviously make fun of the Irish elections. What does it say about the loss of the West? Also, we're going to talk to Savannah Hernandez, show favorite, fan favorite, about Bill Gates and his new positioning over quote unquote climate change. Monica Page has the latest from the White House, as well as whether or not this Halloween children are on the menu as they were in the previous administration. Trust me, that'll make sense when we get to that. All that more coming up on this episode of Turning Point tonight. My name is Joe Bob. Thanks so much for tuning in. Together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback, mainly through the mockery of terrible lib ideas. TPT@tpusa.com is the email address. Would love to see each and every one of your emails, your thoughts, comments, concerns, even criticisms. We're not libs. We don't censor people here. Also, go subscribe to our YouTube channel, or our Rumble Channel, or any of the social media platforms where you get exclusive content not seen anywhere else, mostly because we can't find the time to fit everything we want to talk about in such a short period of time. Next week I am back on the road with Megyn Kelly. Wednesday we are in New York, Jacksonville on Thursday, Miami on Friday, and Duluth, Georgia on Sunday. Saturday, we might be giving away some tickets too, so stay tuned on how you can enter to win some of those awesome tickets to those fantastic events with Megyn Kelly featuring myself because, I don't know, I like to have fun and make some jokes before Megan takes the stage and wows people with whatever it is that she has planned for that particular stop. You're not going to want to miss it. To get to the most important and pressing issue of our time. Political prosecutions by way of political persecutions. There is a new one. Shoot. Sorry. No, no, Glenn, not this one. Not this one. This is, this is not the right. That's good. We're not, we're not allowed to talk about the other. And that was totally justified. Rachel Maddow and everybody on MSNBC told me that that was 100% legit. But this, on the other hand, this is a political persecution which is leading to a political prosecution. Someone named Kat Abu Gazilla, and I, honest to God think I'm pronouncing that correctly, was arrested and indicted on federal charges not because she was doing anything illegal, but because she has a particular political belief that does not agree with the White House. That is the only reason she was arrested and indicted. According to her and all of the other libs on, on social media. She even came out and said so herself. Here is her very briefly stating what happened to her. Again, a blatant and utter political prosecution at the hands of the king that we don't have. Watch this.
Monica Page
My name is Katabagazale. I'm running for Congress in the 9th district of Illinois and the Department of justice is charging six people, including myself, with federal crimes for exercising our First Amendment rights near ICE's Broadview processing center.
Joe Bob
That is so horrible and disgusting and definitely happening. That is only. That is all she was doing. She was just voicing her opinion. Now those MAGA right wing extremists at the New York Post reported it a little bit differently. Let me read you that cat, formerly employed by the liberal watchdog of media matters, was indicted along with four others charged, charged with having conspired to present by prevent, by force, intimidation and threat federal law enforcement officers for carrying out the official duties in a manner seeking to injure him or him or his personal property. Again, that is not what happened. Clearly she was just stating her political opinion, which is protected by the First Amendment. Gosh, Abu Gaza and her alleged co conspirators physically hindered and impeded. Well that actually, that actually would be illegal if what they're claiming is true. But clearly that this is just a MAGA right wing rag that is spouting the administration's talking points. Ah, I can't believe that this is happening, especially to a person that moved specifically to a congressional district in order to run for Congress. Yes. By the way, Kat Zug Zoo Boo Boo is running for Congress in the state of Illinois, a place where she just moved to last summer in order to run for this congressional seat that is, by the way, very, very deep blue seat. Libs have held this seat for a very long time by pretty huge margins actually. According to the Evanston Roundtable, she still doesn't even live in the district. She just moved to the state and is carpet bagging supposedly from somewhere else. But like I said, this is clearly a political prosecution at the highest level. The only reason she was arrested and indicted was for her political belief, not for any other reason regarding breaking the law. Let me, let me show you an example of her just disposing her political beliefs peacefully on the sidewalk, not blocking traffic. Go ahead and play Cut three here. Down with deportation. Bow down with deportation. You know what, I feel like I'm being misled here. That that looked like her and a bunch of people trying to block a car, which is, which is not okay. I don't. There must be other footage out there of her just peacefully protesting. Again, like, like I said, that seems like a little bit more than that, which maybe would actually warrant some investigation, maybe even an indictment for, you know, blocking traffic, possibly even trying to kidnap that particular individual. I'm not, I'm not entirely sure. Let me, let's go, let's go with another couple examples here because I, I have to believe that she was just on the sidewalk with a sign and a megaphone talking about her beliefs and her ideas. Go ahead and play Cut four Power. I think producer Glenn is playing some tricks on me that, that clearly seems like she's trying to block traffic. Again, maybe I'm mistaken. Maybe, maybe you're allowed to block traffic. Actually, we did try and go see if you're allowed to block traffic and as a form of free expression of ideas and public protest. And we, we went to the ACLU website, the American Civil Liberties Union, and got what they decided are the rules to Protesting. And obviously everybody knows the ACLU is a right wing maga extremist organization that clearly espouses all the beliefs of the president. Well, according to the ACLU website, this is not necessarily what's on there right now, but let me read something else that's on the website. The First Amendment protects your rights to assemble and express your views through protests. However, police and other government officials are allowed to place certain narrow restrictions on the exercise of free speech. Oh, geez. Shoot. Well, this. This is a screen grab from the ACLU website when it talks about how you're supposed to peacefully protest. And it says that, yeah, sometimes you might need a permit, but they're not allowed to deny you permits. But does say on the ACL's website, ACLU's website, as long as marchers don't obstruct car or pedestrian traffic. Shoot, this is getting real, real sticky here. The ACO website, ACLU website also says police may not break up a gathering unless it's clear and a present danger of a riot, disorder, or interference with traffic. Huh? I'm figuring this out real time with all of you folks. It may seem like she was indicted for something that actually is illegal. Blocking traffic, in other words, possibly even trying to kidnap federal agents. But there's no way that she only did this twice because clearly there has to be videos of her just standing on the sidewalk peacefully expressing her ideas, which is not against the law and is protected under the First Amendment. I have to believe that clip exists. Glenn, can you play cut two again? Black Ocean. The more you around, the more you're gonna find out she's blocking traffic again. Does she know how to protest like the way the normal people protest? Like the legally protected way that the ACLU says is appropriate way to do? Or does she only know how to block cars? Geez. Well, considering the ACLU considers that a crime and everybody else with two eyes considers that a crime, what does she think happens to people who commit crimes? What if you're following the orders of somebody else and they're telling you to commit a crime, do you then? Have you committed a crime? Well, interestingly enough, producer Glenn found a clip of her weighing in on that very topic. Play cut five.
Monica Page
It turns out if the advice you're following is commit crime, yeah, that's a crime.
Joe Bob
Huh? So if people are advising you to commit crime and then you. You go ahead and commit that crime, then you in fact are committing a crime. There's a saying, there's an acronym. I'm not even sure what it means it's a F, A, F, O. And from my cursory understanding of what this acronym means is, well, if you do something that is going to warrant a reaction and then that reaction happens, well, that's just what happens to you. You know, the more we talk about this, the more it feels like not a political prosecution, not political, political persecution. It feels like somebody who clearly broke the law in order to get attention and Instagram followers is being held accountable for breaking the law. I feel like I've been severely misled, and I hope I didn't mislead you good folks at home who might have been led to believe that this is, like she said, initially, just political prosecution and persecution. Unlike what happened to President Trump, which was totally legit and 100%. He did all of the things and committed all the crimes that nobody could actually define, but he did them. He did. He did do them. That. That wasn't political prosecution. But. But this is, I guess, if you're a lib. I don't really know. I'm honestly very confused myself. Interestingly enough, while compiling this increasingly less compelling case of political prosecution, we came across a video that we actually played on the show, or at least had queued up on this show, of this very same lady cat who was talking about what should happen to Chrissy Noem or anybody that participates in enforcing the law. She was talking to Jen Psaki. We don't believe in silent letters on this show. And she said this. Interestingly enough. Watch this. Cut six.
Monica Page
I think Kristi Noem should have consequences. I think she should be tried at the Hague. What we are seeing from her operation are crimes against humanity. And if the response from ICE to people exercising their First Amendment right is to drive vehicles through them, is to shoot them, is to put a stationary gun on top of a roof, as we saw today, they shouldn't be allowed to operate.
Joe Bob
Okay, what I'm gathering here is this person is insane. What they're saying is that if you're blocking a car, you just get to block the car. That seems crazy. And of course, people are allowed to protect themselves, especially if you're impeding on them, doing their job, and they happen to work for the federal government. The federal government is only enforcing the laws that Congress has duly agreed upon. But you're not allowed to do that. And if you do do that, you should be tried at the hag, which, by the way, not to throw shade at the people at the hag. What is that really like? What even is that? Oh, no, I've committed a crime that the international court at the Hague has condemned me for. Ooh, scary. But if you're just following the law, I'm not sure how much of an international crime that is. You know, I've, I've, I feel like I've been duped. I feel like I've been misled. The libs all across the Internet are claiming that this is political prosecution. And what I think we're finding together is that, well, this person repeatedly broke laws for which there are consequences, and suffering those consequences is not political prosecution. That's, that's just the law. Now, the libs I know we've sarcastically pointed to President Trump here did effectively do all of the political prosecution. They charged him with a crime that was past the point of being able to charge him with that quote, unquote crime and then didn't define the crime. And for some reason, now they're saying anything that happens to them that are clear, we have video proof of all them all doing all the crimes. This is all of a sudden political persecution or prosecution? I guess both. Seems odd, maybe. I think what we're all coming to realize, if we haven't already, is that our lib friends might not have both oars in the water. What's a nicer way to put that? Might, might not, might not be moored to the tether of reality. I. Lots of different ways to say that. Maybe mainly being that maybe it is in fact that our lib friends who think this sort of thing and believe this sort of thing are clinically insane. Just, just a possibility. Not, not throwing any accusations out there. But maybe a gazooga loop is not actually just an innocent bystander who's being prosecuted for her political beliefs. Maybe she's a criminal who seems to allegedly have broken lots of rules. Huh. Fun fact. Interesting. Coming up next, speaking of a person who loves to document other folks breaking lots of rules, we're going to talk to Savannah Hernandez, who weighs in on Bill Gates total reversal of how he views the climate crisis. Is it actually a crisis? Is stopping cow farts a priority of the utmost extreme? Or is it just a talking point that he's been pushing around for the last several decades. We're also going to talk to Turning Points White House correspondent Monica Page about Trump's trip to Asia and whether or not on the Halloween menu at the White House this year will be children. The last administration unfortunately pictured possibly Joe Biden thought that kids were edible. I'm not entirely sure. We'll break that down with Monica page. And of course following that, your mom gate. It is a gate now. It is very, very serious. The White House press secretary hilariously responding to a HuffPost reporter with a classic your mom, find out what he said and how she responded. All that more after the break. Sav, thank you for joining us. Really appreciate you taking the time.
Monica Page
Of course.
Savannah Hernandez
Joe Bob, this is the most serious part of my week as we do this very hard hitting news analysis. So very grateful to be here as always.
Joe Bob
Before I caught the sarcasm when you said this is the most serious part of my week, I was about to warn you this what you should really reconsider the way that you structure your week, especially if this is the most serious part of it. So Savannah, speaking of seriousness, obviously you are a massive Bill Gates fan. I don't want to put your business out there, but there's one time you were wearing a Bill Gates T I heart Bill Gates T shirt. Big fan of the guy. Clearly. Of course I'm being sarcastic as well. But at the same time, Bill Gates, who was once an ardent supporter of global climate change is going to be the downfall of humanity, has backed off of that and is now saying we'll probably be fine. I want to play this really quick clip of Bill Gates prior to this. I believe this is 2019 with Fareed Zakaria, which he's talking about the devastation that climate change will wreak on humanity. Will we survive? Watch this was how great a problem bovine flatulence is. Nobody knows how to get rid of Know how to get cows to stop farting Exactly. Our burping. And so there is artificial meat, but that's at a very early stage. If it was a 50% reduction, then you could ignore okay, leave the cows alone. But because we're trying to avoid the temperature continuing to go up, you do need to go to zero. Now Savannah, you know as well as I do that is a number one table, kitchen table issue. How to stop cows from farting or burping and then alternative meets there. Where in your hierarchy of people who were very annoying has Bill Gates ranked especially with all the crazies that you deal with in the protests, talking about this climate change, you know, whatever. How has that been over the last couple years with the way that they've been pushing this? Greta Thunberg, all of those climate wackadoos.
Savannah Hernandez
Well, you know, Joe Bob, cow flatulence actually keeps me up at night because it's so terrifying to me. And I am actually reporting to you guys from beyond the grave because, you know, per aoc, I think we all drowned like five years ago. Yes, maybe it was two. So, you know, we're actually all dead right now. Climate change took us out. Just kidding. Now Bill Gates is saying it doesn't exist, which maybe this is like some 5D chess. Maybe now I believe in climate change because Bill Gates, because it's not real interesting. But no, Joe Bob, I mean, I was kind of reading into these articles, right? And it's funny because he's basically going to be pivoting to focus on disease and poverty. So for me, I've kind of looked at this and I'm like, okay, so I kind of feel like Americans are not really falling for the climate chaos anymore, right? And all of the fear mongering surrounding this topic. So now we're pivoting to something a little bit more effective. I mean, we all saw how easily everybody kind of gave up all of their rights as soon as Covid, COVID 19 was released and how, you know, obedient everybody was, how everyone kind of just fell into line with all of these crazy things. And if that, you know, you maybe spoke out and we're like, hey, yeah, I don't know if I want to get kicked off of this flight because my 2 year old's not wearing a mask. Could we maybe not do that? It was like, well, why are you trying to kill everybody? So, you know, I really do think that what we are seeing now is Bill Gates because like, let's be honest, he is the Dr. Evil of our time is simply viewing climate change is not as effective in controlling and manipulating people. And he's like, okay, disease, much scarier, much easier to convince people not to have children or good lives by telling them that they're all going to die from these diseases with a, you know, potentially a 99 survival rate. So I feel like that's why we're seeing the pivot there.
Joe Bob
Well, so I feel like you've answered my next question in what you just said, or at least I feel like I can tell where you're gonna go with this. Do you think that he changed his mind or was always kind of going down this rabbit hole of like, this is going to kill humanity. And in the really, in the back of his mind getting like, this is not going to actually kill humanity. Like, what do you think happened here? Actually, before you answer that, let me play this next clip. This is, this is him today. So we saw he was trying to eliminate cow farts in order to lower the temperature because that would have helped for some reason. Now he's saying stuff like this. What cut to not just everything should be solely for climate. Wasn't the goal here to improve human lives? Climate is super important, but has to be considered in terms of overall human welfare. I'm actually sorry, Sav, that for some reason producer Glenn put in a clip of Kermit the Frog dressed as an old white man for Halloween. But same, same question. Do you think he, like always knew that this wasn't going to be a big deal or is now kind of going, oh, yeah, like, like you're saying going into the next new thing?
Savannah Hernandez
Yeah, I think he's kind of. Well, look, I'm gonna be honest with you, Joe Bob. I mean, he really did fund a lot of experience experiments regarding the climate change controversy. Oh, my gosh. I can't even talk today either. Joe Bob, you started off our segment mumbling and now I'm. It's like rubbing off on me. I don't know what's going on. Anyway, sorry, Bill Gates is just, you know, I'm so scared about climate change, I can't even think straight. But this man really did fund a lot of experiments going all the way to spraying chemicals into the air. This was called solar geoengineering. They were basically trying to block out the sun. So this is a legitimate thing that he was trying to do. So I do think that there was some truth to him trying to. I don't know. Honestly, Joe Bob, I think that this man just has a power. He's on a power trip and he's like, okay, what can I do to try to control things that are clear, like clearly out of my control and that I should not be touching or messing around with it was climate change. And again, he kind of is, you know, put that off to the side. It's not as easy to manipulate people with it. Maybe the experiments didn't go as well as he wanted to. So now he's pivoting to disease, which as we have seen, Joe Bob, you know, can very easily be manipulated and then released out into the public. So that's kind of my viewpoint on all of it.
Joe Bob
Well, first of all, I want to apologize for the mumbling. It feels like I might have been contagious, but it also might have been that wet bat that we both ate from the Wuhan Food institute.
Savannah Hernandez
We have Covid 20. Are we patient 1 and 2, 0 and 1. How does that work?
Joe Bob
Yeah, I don't exactly know, but sav. So, okay. So you also, you know, have made a great name for yourself interviewing people on the streets. We've talked about the Omni cause. Right. Greta Thunberg is probably the most famous one out of these. She was a climate crusader, and now that the climate thing is kind of, like, waning, she's, like, now going to go save people in Gaza with a ship that carries food for, like, nine people for four days. What do you think the next cause is going to be? When you're out there talking to these people, protesters slash rioters. What do you think is the next thing that they're going to be? I. I support the current thing.
Savannah Hernandez
Yeah. And, you know, I haven't heard about climate change in such a long time. I don't think I've heard the climate change topic brought up since the last time I was in Davos, which was in 2023. I want to say it's been a couple years, so I really haven't heard anything about this topic, and I kind of completely forgot about it, actually. This is the first time in a long time I'm even discussing it, actually. So good job, Joe. You know, keeping us at the forefront of the climate change fight. But, you know, it really is the. The fascism, it's the tyranny, it's the rise of Nazism that we are not seeing here in the United States or across Europe or across the world. But that is like, again, this, like, faux fear that is being pushed by the left wing. It really is, again, their new boogeyman that they have really latched onto Bill Gates going more of, like I said, the disease route and the maybe overpopulation route. So lots of moving pieces here. But climate change, totally last year. It's not in season anymore. We don't want to hear it anymore. I mean, that's so out of style if you come to a protest and you're talking about climate change. Embarrassing. Sweetheart, get a new talking point. Reboot your NPC brain, because we have moved far, you know, far, far away from that topic.
Joe Bob
Savannah Hernandez is outing herself here. You were in Davos. We saw each other at the World Economic Forum. I was there to cover the corruption. I think you were there as a special guest of Klaus Schwab. Anyways, that's all the time. I'm just kidding. No, Sam was there breaking hard news on the ground.
Savannah Hernandez
I was there spraying chemicals into the air with Bill Gates. I don't know what you were doing.
Joe Bob
Trying to blot out the sun because that'll maybe a little bit of shade.
Savannah Hernandez
Will like me with my hairspray.
Joe Bob
I was, I remember being there and not to go off on a whole different tangent, I remember being there. We were both freezing our butts off trying to cover these people. And I was wondering, you know, can we get some global warming? This is, it's very cold and I wish it was warmer. The globe was warmer.
Savannah Hernandez
I know, I know. I was like Bill Gates, you're doing a horrible job on this. That's why he pivoted, because he's a massive failure. The climate is not changing very well. I mean, we're having regular seasons and it was cold because it was winter in the middle of Switzerland and we were there.
Joe Bob
Oh, good times and good memories. Sav Hernandez, Turning Point contributor and Frontlines reporter, thanks so much for tune or joining us. They really appreciate you taking the time.
Savannah Hernandez
Of course. Love you guys.
Joe Bob
Bye. Thank you. Coming up next, we're going to talk to Turning Points White House correspondent Monica Page to discuss what's going on in Trump world. Also, our kids on the menu at Halloween this year, hopefully not with a new administration. That joke, I promise you, will make sense in just a few minutes. We'll be right back after the break. Don't go away.

Welcome back to Turning Point Tonight where together we are charting the course of America's cultural come back tpt pusa.com is the email. If you want to send us any email thoughts, comments, concerns, criticisms. Also go follow us on our Turning Point Tonight YouTube channel where you get to exclusive content that is not able to fit in the short time that we have together here. Let's bring in our Turning Point White House correspondent Monica Page at the White House. A lot going on. It's been a while since we've caught up with Monica because of so many different things, the fantastic events going around including, including JD Vance yesterday which all of you saw. Also got to talk to Monica Page. But before we get to that, Monica, first of all, thanks for joining us. How you been?
Monica Page
Thanks so much. It's a beautiful day. I've been great. And I by the way, I did see J.D. vance's remarks at Ole Miss. He did a fantastic job. Watch the entire thing and if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend watching it because it's fantastic.
Joe Bob
Yeah, him and Erica were just fantastic there in front of a sold out arena which I'm sure unfortunately not everybody was able to get in. But you know, I guess that's the, that's the biggest problem you have. It's, it's not the worst thing to have. Monica, the president is overseas. He met with Xi Jinping earlier today among many other world leaders over there in Asia. What's the update from the President on what he's his initiatives with when it comes to specifically China, but also with the rest of the Asian world?
Monica Page
Well, the President actually just returned back this afternoon, so he's Back here at the White House, it was a very long trip, hitting on Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and ultimately meeting with China's President Xi Jinping. But there's a lot to get to, so bear with me here. So when he was in Malaysia, his very first stop, he officially signed that historic peace deal agreement between Cambodia and Thailand. He also signed very historic trade deals between Malaysia and Cambodia as well. He helped establish a trade framework between Thailand and Vietnam. And also, when it came to critical minerals, which kind of was like an underlying theme during this Asia trip was critical minerals, you know, these rare earth minerals and these rare earth materials that actually we use a lot of in iPhones, laptops, and even our military equipment. So that was kind of an underlying theme, aside from trade tariffs and obviously bolstering relations. So a critical minerals deal with Thailand was also secured. His second stop was in Japan, of course, bolstering that relationship with Japan's new Prime minister. Of course, they welcomed him with opened arms. I'm sure you've seen plenty of clips on social media about that. She's going to gift Washington D.C. 250 cherry trees. And, of course, our fireworks here in Washington, D.C. will be from Japan as kind of an homage to the country and our relationship with it. And also, the President established a framework to accelerate development of markets for these critical minerals and rare earths. Like I mentioned, they're kind of a big deal. And, you know, many people don't really know how important they are in the development of many of our equipment, whether it's our iPhones, laptops, military equipment. And, of course, China has been really been trying to compete with the United States when it comes to these rare earth materials as well. So trying to make sure that we have an alliance where we're not reliant on China, but also we can work together with the United States and our allies and making sure we can kind of curb China's sort of influence and threat here. But the President returned back to the White House with $900 billion in investments between Japan and South Korea. Now, these investments will support our infrastructure here in the United States. They will be constructing nuclear facilities. They're also going to help shipbuilding data centers. These will all create jobs. When it came to the President's meeting with Xi Jinping, apparently China agreed to more soybeans from the United States, which is great. And of course, lowering tariffs on China, because apparently they have been curbing the flow of fentanyl over the past few months. I know the President has been very adamant on China stopping the flow of fentanyl into the United States. So if the president said, hey, listen, if you curb the flow of fentanyl, we'll lower your tariffs. So I believe he lowered the tariffs for China. They've been, I guess, been working out some kind of partnership with the United States. And you did hear from the president saying, you know, on a scale of 1 to 10, that meeting with Xi Jinping, it was a 12. So all good things, very successful trip, especially that $900 billion investment deal. And yet we'll see what happens in the future, especially when it comes to China keeping up with its promises. We'll keep an eye on that.
Joe Bob
Monica, viewers might have noticed my state of confusion when you're talking about all of those sounded pretty good for the American people. I've been told by Governor Newsom, among many other people, that President Trump is hated by all the world leaders and everyone laughs behind his back and he's going to start world war or three. That that for some reason does not align with all of the things that you're saying. So Monica, you may want to check your facts there because that, that just, you know, the mainstream would never lie to anyone. So I that you have to be.
Monica Page
Wrong somewhere in there fact checked me.
Joe Bob
Speaking of people who are wrong, the libs continue to shut down the government for the longest time I didn't notice and I don't think anyone did at this point in time. Yeah, people are going to start missing paychecks. Government employees are starting to miss paychecks, including some of the critical ones. You actually got to ask the vice president of the United States, a friend of Turning Point obviously spoke at last night's event, a question about whether or not travel is going to be impacted, especially around the Thanksgiving holiday. I want to play that clip from you and then get to get some thoughts after the vice president speaks.
Monica Page
Thank you, Mr. Vice President. I'm Monica Page with Frontlines Turning Point USA on the government shutdown. Of course, we're approaching Thanksgiving. We're approaching the holidays. What could travel look like, you know, if the Democrats don't open the government in time?
Joe Bob
So I'm going to let our great secretary of transportation answer this question. Look, it could be a disaster. It really could be because at that point, you're talking about people have missed three paychecks, they've missed four paychecks. How many of them are not going to show up for work. You take the TSA lines that are already too long even right now and say half of the those people don't show up for work, not because they're not hard workers or good people, but because they've got to find a different job to feed their families. What happens when the security lines are not an hour long but they're four hours long? What happens when pilots start not showing up for work because they're so focused on paying the bills they can't fly the plane safely? That's going to lead to massive delays. We want people to be able to get home for Thanksgiving. We want people to be able to travel for business, to make this entire engine of commerce work. We want the aviation industry to work. It's not going to work unless the Democrats reopen the government, Monica, that I've been told. And we've we're going to do a segment on this show a little bit later. Yeah, it's the Republicans have both houses and the White House. Why is the first of all, I guess I'm answering my own questions because they failed civics and don't quite understand that you do need buy in from the other side. But what did the vice president's answer there say to you? Obviously, he's talking about the kind of the tangible specifics behind this, but broadly speaking, how much does it feel like this administration wants to get the government open and just can't seem to find any help from our lib friends on the other side of the aisle?
iHeart Radio Announcer
Yeah.
Monica Page
I mean, not just from the answer to my question, but what I'm hearing, you know, his opening remarks in general and answering some of my other colleagues questions as well. He's very serious about this. I mean, this is a big deal. And you didn't just hear from the vice president. You heard from obviously Transportation Secretary Duffy as well and other members of his team that just met behind closed doors this afternoon. They're very serious about this. The Democrats need to come to the table and negotiate. We need to talk. The JD Vance compared them to like little kids. They're throwing fits when it's their fault. They need to vote on this. They voted to shut down the government, what, 12, 13 times. You know, we're heading into a very busy season and it's not just Thanksgiving travel. Obviously parents have children that come back from college or they're going to visit or whatever it may be. And the fact that the travel plans could get this messy should be ringing alarms and red, you know, red alarms all across the country. I mean, this is a very, this is a very big deal. This could be even worse than any of us could even imagine. I mean, because you're not just talking about the pilots and those who keep us safe, but just everyday Americans just trying to live their lives. And now they can't because of the Democrats. And then these people that are Democrats, they will keep voting for Democrats. They will keep voting for this and keep blaming Republicans. So it's like I really hope people open their eyes and realize but this is the Democrat shutdown. You can, they can fix this job up.
Joe Bob
You know, I do want to throw in the one point though. They are standing on firm grounds. The American people overwhelmingly want to give their tax dollars to help fund health care for illegal immigrants. Of course, everybody knows that and that is a clear across the board. Everybody wants that. But that's, that is the hill they've chosen to die on. Monica, briefly, the there's there's been some fun at the White House given the fact that it's Halloween. My question to you, and this is very serious as you're a journalist, integrity is on the line here. Are any of the children this year going to the White House on the menu as they have been previously in the past administration?
Monica Page
Well, I think everyone can mark their children as safe this year. There will be no nibbling on children like there was last year. It was very, very weird. I compiled a whole bunch of photos that I found online from last Halloween. And that is what we saw last Halloween. Joe Biden kind of nibbling on little chicken legs and little kids feet. Very strange. But everyone's kids will be safe this year. The president, the first lady will put on a beautiful trick or treating spectacular this evening. So everyone, you don't need to worry about your children. They are in good hands.
Joe Bob
That is good. And also I'm being told that Joe Biden dressed up as the president the last couple of years. That's a bizarre thing to me. Might as well dress up as an auto pen. Probably be the same thing. Monica Page, hope you have a fantastic Halloween. Have a great weekend and we will see you next week.
Monica Page
Thanks so much. You guys. Have a great Halloween.
Joe Bob
Thank you. Coming up next here on Turning Point tonight, among many other things, your mom, which will make sense after the break because it's a very funny response that Caroline Levitt, the White House press secretary, sent to a lib reporter in response to a ridiculous question that he had. Welcome back to Turning Point tonight where together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback, mostly through the mockery of terrible lib ideas. And we're gonna do some mockery here in just a quick second, but you can email the show anytime you want. Tbtpusa.com youm can also go follow us on our social media platforms platforms specifically subscribing to our YouTube channel where you see never before seen footage that we can't fit into the timeframe that we have on this show. Turning point tonight on YouTube Rumble X my personal Facebook page. All of the places where you can take in social media content. We are there and we would love to see you there as well. This I thought was hilarious and hilarious in a way that is trolly but also just kind of a throwback back to a different and better time. We all Remember your mom jokes. The literally the only punchline was, your mom did what you were just asking. And you know, time goes on, those jokes kind of fall out of fashion. You get older, you get a little bit more mature and you start understanding. That's not. That's not always the funniest way to respond to somebody asking a serious question, but it is in this case. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levin. It hit a reporter with a fat your mom did in an exchange in a text message stream that was made public earlier last week. And then the only reason we're bringing it to your attention now is the New York Times did a whole entire piece on the victimhood of this reporter that was so cruelly hit with a fat your mom joke from the White House press secretary. I wanna play you. Excuse me, I wanna actually get a clip on here of what this text exchanged looked like. And then what warranted the your mom response? This is SV Date or Date. I don't know. It pronounces it Date, I guess, but he's a reporter for the Huffington Post. It's been at the Huffington Post since President Trump's first term came on board in 2016. Said, this is the President. This is a text to Caroline Levitt. Is the president aware of the significance of Budapest in 1994, Russian Russia promised in Budapest not to invade Ukraine if it gave up the nuclear weapons it inherited from the Soviet Union when it dissolved. Does he not see why Ukraine might have. Might object to this? To this site, who suggested Budapest? Thanks to which Caroline Levitt responded, your mom. Your mom did. And then he said, is this funny to you? And that she gets a whole big log thing? Which honestly, the text is a little bit small, it's hard to read here, but basically she says, yeah, your BS question does not warrant a serious response, Mr. Date. Now let me put this in the context of this. Anybody can pick any particular site and say, is this really an appropriate site for this? Like this, Columbus sailed the Ocean Blue in 1492. You know what else is blue? The sky. You know who looks at the. Up at the sky? President Trump. You know who also looked at the sky? Hitler. Therefore, why does President Trump like to fashion himself on the German dictator? It's ridiculous. Is what I'm saying is you can link anything to anything and anything and anything, any point in time, any place on the globe, and then suggest something bad is happening there. So to say, why would President Trump pick Budapest when 30 years ago, this thing that probably President Trump is aware of but doesn't have at the forefront of his mind significant, I guess, in a way. Why did someone pick Buddha? Who was it? The appropriate response is, in fact your mom because of the question is as ridiculous and framing it in a way that is unbelievably biased. Now, now, the libs did not stop there. The New York Times decided they would do an entire piece on this SV date in which in the post it said your mom did texted Caroline Levitt, the White House press secretary, in an exchange that she later posted online, your mom, Stephen Chung, the White House communications director, texted months later, invoking a well known maternal insult. They're taking like this is how seriously they're taking this. This invoking a well known maternal insult that according to the Urban Dictionary, is the most versatile dis slash comeback ever created in the history of your mom. One of the things that I think about so often that Charlie told me one day when we were sitting talking about, you know, how to handle people that do pronouns in their bio and all that sort of stuff is saying, you know, don't take them as seriously as they take themselves. This is a classic example of the New York Times taking this unbelievably seriously when in fact it was a joke and a response to a ridiculous question. By the way, Caroline Levitt then went on to say, yeah, you're extremely biased reporting. Well, what is that? Extremely biased reporting. Well, a couple headlines from this guy recently too, not spanning through the litany of his journalistic career, said how however scared you are, this is a headline written by this guy. You're not scared enough. Trump equates to an unchecked Equates Trump to an unchecked autocrat defying the Supreme Court, dismissing immigration concerns and calling them invaders, which is true. Also, he has not dismissed the Supreme Court. Defied the Supreme Court. That's actually a big thing that we've hit on on this show. If in fact he does defy the courts, it'll be the first. First. This guy also wrote a piece surprised Trump is destroying history and that was recently talking about the White House portrays the White House. It portrays the White House renovations as destruction and cause talks about not being respectful to the firmer presence. In other words, this guy is a total left wing progressive lib hack who warrants a response to a ridiculous question that saying, yeah, your mom is the one who decided Budapest, which is hilarious. And I appreciate the administration for deciding to fight ridiculousness with humor. That is the best way to go forward. We don't have a ton of time to dive deep on this, but I really wanted to get this on. Ireland had its presidential elections. Conor McGregor at one point was running who I thought that would be really interesting. I have a photo with the future president of Ireland. He has since dropped out, obviously. Obviously. But then they elected a super progressive lady in which we probably have to take a look at what is actually going on in Ireland. Ireland, like many of the failing Western countries that have let an inordinate amount of people into their country, is now 20% foreign born in Ireland, of all places, which is crazy to me. But that's just how they're doing things. And, and because of that, they have elected because, well, certain people can now vote in Ireland that couldn't in the future. They've elected somebody who says, yes, this is a great idea. Um, there's so many things to be said here. We don't have a ton of time to get to it. Cause I want to get to our, our hilarity later on in the day. But the fact that Ireland is going by the wayside by letting in a bunch of foreigners who don't share the culture, don't share the western values and promote, geez, stuff like this in the streets is scary and worrisome. And unfortunately, someday you'll possibly. Well, let me tell it this way. My sister's name is. My mom is Irish and her name is a traditional Irish name, not necessarily spelled in the same way, but a traditional Irish name. And if this continues, a traditional Irish name might in fact be Muhammad because that's the trajectory that Ireland is on and it's not doing any better with their super hyper progressive lib president that they've just elected to ensure that the downfall of Ireland will continue. Like I said, there's so much to be said about that, but don't have a ton of time to get into it because I got to get you some of the more funny stories later on in segment five, which is our sarcastic snarky segment. If you thought we're sarcastic and snarky before now, just, just wait until segment five. Some of those hilarious videos from around the Internet are coming up. Tptposa.com is the email address. Go subscribe to our YouTube channel where you get our One Last Point podcast. Last segment of the show that we can't squeeze in here as well as so much more that I can't mention right now. We'll be right back after the break. Don't go away.

Welcome back to Turning Point Tonight where together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback through the mockery of terrible lib ideas. Tptpsa.com is the email. It's right down here. TPT turning point tonight at TPUSA. You can also follow us and subscribe on our social media accounts, specifically the Turning Point Tonight YouTube channel, which is growing by leaps and bounds. Fantastic to have you all there, which gives you again an extra segment of the show that you won't get anywhere else, along with so many other fun features that you're not going to want to miss. Our YouTube channel on turning Point Tonight. Now we've all been hearing about the just the utter terribleness of remodeling. I think we've generally deduced the White House remodel and the libs being so in a panic over, over it because none of them have ever had blue collar jobs. They don't know what construction is. They just like, well hold on. The house is just there. Nobody builds it. Nobody has to like tear anything down. Nobody has to grade land, nobody has to frame a house or put up shock rate or conquer or a drywall or, or put in vanities and bath. Nobody ever does that. It just exists. It just, you pick the houses off the house tree and then you know, you live in them. But that's what we've deduced this down to. But interestingly enough, ABC News has an ABC Ipsos poll that came out that says something I think hilarious. After weeks of badgering and talking about how terrible it is and lying about the construction at the White House, ABC News finds that a majority of Americans don't agree with President Trump putting in a ballroom at the White House. In other words, after an unrelenting campaign to say this is the worst thing in the world by the compliant media. But lo and behold, the American people are like, I don't know, people have been telling me this is the worst thing in the world. So I guess, sure, I think it's not a good thing. Now of course after the unrelenting full court press of media, you would think that, you know, the majority is clearly 80% of Americans disagree with this construction because of course, you know, the majority, the overwhelming majority of people would. No, it turns out it's 56%, in other words, clearly split along party lines and they probably polled a bunch of people who aren't paying attention at all and just have heard, yeah, Trump is tearing down the White House, which is not true. Uh, in other words, yeah, they decided to push a narrative and this should be a wake up call to all of us. It apparently has worked at least to some extent. Not nearly the extent that I think they were hoping for, but it is points to the fact that the media still lies and they understand that there is a value to them lying because you know, clearly it's represented in this poll. Not nearly in the, the gravity of which I think they probably hoped it was. But all that says to us is keep, keep charting the course, keep being the pathway forward to dispel the lies of the libs. And speaking of lies of libs, this is our final video that we're going to play today. This is I think hilarious. Now this congresswoman talks about a point here, a poison pill, why the shutdown is continuing. And the reporter then asks what poison pill are you talking about? Let me know if you think she knows what she's talking about while we watch this together.
iHeart Radio Announcer
Check this out and want to make sure that we're very clear about what Republicans have been doing. Any bill that they've put forth, they've always had some extra stuff to it.
Annabe Sofa Advertiser
There's always been a poison pill to it.

So I disagree with your character. What were the poison pills of the clean CR or the continuing resolution? You say it's not clean. That was voted on in the House in mid September.

I think what you're trying to do.
Annabe Sofa Advertiser
Is shift the responsibility to Democrats.

This rings so much of President Trump is a fascist dictator. Oh, what do fascist dictators do? I just was told to say this thing and they trotted me out in front of a camera and now I'm just repeating the thing. Please don't ask me hard questions. Classic lib. Who was that? Congresswoman Bynum from Washington. The State of Washington. That's gonna do it for us here at Turning Point tonight. We will see you tomorrow same time, same place for a special Halloween episode that unfortunately will scare a lot of you. Thanks so much for tuning in. See you tomorrow. God bless America.
