This is an I heart podcast.
Greetings, Naturopathy Dr. Dennis Black here, founder of Rough Greens. And if only dogs could talk, I think a lot of them would say, hey, thanks for the love, but this food, it's not working for me. The truth is, they'd be right. Because most dog food, wet or dry, is cooked at such high temperatures that every live nutrient in it is destroyed. And what you're left with is dead food bulked up with fillers and sprayed with artificial flavors. That's not what dogs need. But when you add back in the live vitamins, omega oils and antioxidants are in Rough Greens, your dog would say something different. Like they'd say, wow, this is delicious. Or sluggish dogs might say, hey, let's go for a walk. Older dogs might say, I feel like a puppy again. It's not magic, it's biology. Don't just imagine it, see it in your dog. I'll send you a free Jumpstart trial bag for your dog. You just cover the shipping. Go to ruffgreens.com, use discount code talk, that's R U F F Greens discount code. If your dog could only talk, they'd say, thank you.

1-800-Get-These illegals out of where I live. I don't know if that's the actual number, but there's apparently a hotline where you can report such activity, which has sparked anger among the LA Mayor. Mayor Karen Bass issues a hilarious statement regarding the Supreme Court's ruling of yeah, the president can deport people. And lastly, communists apparently get fantastically wealthy in the United States and get to spend thousands of dollars on luxury hotels. Find out who is that particular communist. My guess is that you won't not know who this person is. All that more coming up on this episode of Turning Point. Tonight. My name is Joe Bob. Thanks so much for tuning in. Together, we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback. This is Turning Point Tonight. Now, I gotta remind you, you can email the show anytime you want. TPT tpusa.com we love seeing all of your emails, the hilarious stories about things that go on around the world, the funny memes and videos. Send them to tptpusa.com now before we get to those stories and our fantastic panel for the day, gotta tell you about something that I, I, I promise you this is not an ad for VPNs but also, so to speak, maybe our, our sales team can get on an Advertiser that does VPNs that would actually help us out financially. But this is VPNs. What a VPN is, is a virtual private network that pretty much for the layman, just obfuscates where you're actually coming from when you're researching things on the Internet. The reason why you need one of those is that big story in USA Today says that AI is tracking who you are and raising prices on you without you knowing. Now they go down a laundry list of things that come up from this. But the basics is AI is now using scanners to charge you for data damage to rental cars. They are tracking when you're trying to book hotels or flights and then raising the price based on how many times you've looked at it, which we've all known has happened. But my concern as should be yours, which is why you need to hide who you are, is that when are they going to start raising prices based on your income level? Because of course that's what they do. Hey, this household makes above the average national income. Let's go ahead and tell them the hotel that they're looking at for this weekend and is 10 to 15% higher than it actually is. Among many other dangerous things that companies are using via AI to charge you more money Here to comment on that and so much more that we have to get through to the news today. Matt Nuclear, political conservative commentator and Jamie Michelle, founder of Gays Against Groomers. Guys, thank you so much for joining us. Really appreciate you taking the time.
Jamie Michelle
Good to be here.
Matt Nuclear
Thank you so much. I'm glad to be here.
Joe Bob
Jamie, I want to start with you here. I, my just natural inclination is like look we have already known if you, if you search the same price, same flight, you're going to get different prices depending on where you're searching for that flight. But my thing is now they know, okay, well specifically this house makes this hold income. How long is it before they start charging people based on how much they're worth and do you think or how important is it to make sure you kind of Hide yourself so that they can't do that to you.
Jamie Michelle
Well, this is the first time hearing of that today is the. The story probably just came out, but that terrifies me. And I think that the people that have to worry most about this are. Are the boomers. You hate to see it. You know, they gotta. They. They're so unaware of, you know, what AI is affecting or even what AI is that I think that they're gonna fall victim to this really bad. And look, AI doesn't really, you know, it may be smart, but it's not. It's not all the way there yet. Like, it makes a lot of mistakes. For instance, there are many AI bots out there that still believe that men can be women. So I don't really know if I put my trust in these things completely yet. And I definitely don't think that they're being used for good all the time. And this is an example where, you know, people are going to be taken advantage of, but we have to be. We have to protect our identities and, and be, like, super cautious of everything online these days with. With the, you know, advancement of AI and everything.
Joe Bob
Yeah, I don't know if I can trust a computer system that says, hey, you can be, you know, rhinoceros if you choose to be, or, I don't know, a helicopter. Matt, what. I think the biggest thing is retroactively charging people. This specific article in USA Today says that Hertz is using an AI feature to buy the millimeter. Find different, like, paint scratches on a rental car, which they can then charge you for, like, a month later if they want to, because that's in their contract. I don't know what other than. And I realize I'm asking you probably a difficult question. What do people do to ensure their. Their privacy going forward to make sure that they don't get taken advantage of by these increasingly sophisticated systems?
Matt Nuclear
Well, for the people that are aware, they should probably look more deeper into the contracts and figure out, like, what can possibly, you know, be changed or. Or, like, what can I complain about? What can I ask questions about? To be at least aware because. Because the problem really comes in with, like, not expecting something to happen and it just catching you off guard. So people being more aware, people looking more into these contracts and. Yeah, by the millimeter is insane. Right? That's. That's the power of AI technology in general. And I believe when it gets to a certain point where it's invasive, where it's, like, severely, you know, changing a lot of things to make, you know, Life harder for everyday Americans. Congress should start passing laws to make sure that, you know, things don't get too invasive and that privacy is still a thing that Americans can assure themselves they have.
Joe Bob
Yeah, I agree with you. Congress should do something about it, but I don't know if anybody's going to be helped waiting around for Congress 30 years down the road to fix a problem of today because that's how Congress works. Unfortunately. Speaking of legislatures that legislators that make very bad decisions yesterday, I think we're all aware the Supreme Court said, yeah, President Trump, go ahead with your LA deportations and all the raids. Matt, Karen Bass came out and let me just read you her quote in my Karen Bass voice. I want the entire nation to hear me when I say this isn't just an attack of the people of L. A, it's an attack on every person in this city, in every, in every city in this country.
Charlie Kirk
Wow.
Joe Bob
Attack on the entire country. With this ruling, it's not only dangerous, it's un American. And the threat to the fabric of personal freedoms in the US how accurate is that statement regarding the Supreme Court in your mind, Matt, saying, yeah, you guys can go ahead and do the job that Congress has tasked you to do?
Matt Nuclear
Well, I mean, I think she's obviously being silly. I mean, ICE has a duty to try to attempt to get all of the illegal foreign invaders out of the country. And I, I know that, you know, there was a whole talk about ethnicity there. Can we be honest? Like 1964 Civil Rights act protects people from being discriminated against in workplaces or actual institutions. It doesn't stop ICE agents from recognizing that many of the people who tend to be illegal are indeed Hispanics. And showing up at the areas where a lot of Hispanics may be working is only a way to make the process more efficient. It's efficiency. That's all it is. It's just efficiency. Okay. And so I don't know how it's affecting everyone else who is a law abiding citizen who came into this country with, you know, proper authorization from the government, which is all we're asking people to do. So, yeah, she's just being silly and she's being anti American.
Joe Bob
Yeah, I, to Matt's point, Jamie, I feel like, okay, so let's just say, let's just say hypothetically, I'm walking down the street, I tend to wear, you know, baggy clothes sometimes because it's hot out and it helps me, my body breathe better in this SoCal heat. If I get stopped by ice, I just assume that it'll be a very quick like, oh yeah, I'm a citizen. Here's all the proof of that and I'll be happily on my way. Am I missing something? Is there like some are going to throw me in a dungeon for six months without any light or water and. Or is it just like easy as that if you're a citizen?
Jamie Michelle
Yeah, I mean, I would imagine it's really that easy. You know, it reminds me of leftists and Democrats saying that, you know, black people are at a disadvantage of voting if we implement voter ID laws. It's like, I feel like it's actually really insulting to in that scenario and also in this scenario to, you know, think that, that Americans wouldn't be okay with this or wouldn't be able to just show, you know, that they're a citizen. Just show their ID really easily and quickly. No, and I think it's really funny that Karen Bass is trying to pretend like the horrible devastating fires didn't happen not that long ago and there's still a huge mess from that. And like I know the people in that area haven't forgotten. The nation hasn't forgotten. And I don't think anybody should take what she has to say seriously. I can't believe she's even still in office. Talk about being like backwards. The priorities here need to be, need to be adjusted.
Joe Bob
Well, I also just love how they're. The whole thing is President Trump and those evil, evil magazines are sowing division. Also they're trying to kill you. I'm just making that up. But be scared. I also, I always find that super funny causing division. Speaking of things that are going to cause division, this, this objectively will. But I also like it. I think it's hilarious. ICE has set up a new call feature. 866-ICE or DHS2ICE. That is an actual phone number that you can call to report illegals. I'm curious of both of your comments about this. While I love this as an idea, as something in practice, I just, I have to believe that libs are going to take it. Just, just have this number on Robo repeat dial and just report it's effectively render it useless. I don't know. Matt, what are your thoughts? Do you think that it'll actually be useful or do you have the same concerns of like yeah, love the idea but how functional is it going to be?
Matt Nuclear
Actually I have the same concerns. I love the idea but it might even not may not be as efficient or functional because there's going to be a Lot of people obviously calling in, trying to disrupt, doing prank calls and stuff like that. And it may encourage ICE to just drop the entire thing completely, which may be it. So you can't actually just, you know, you know, call and report these illegal migrants. But in general it's a good concept. Like apart from the, you know, prank calls and stuff you may get from it, it's a good concept. If you want foreign, you know, invaders out of your country, you should definitely be able to also alert the authorities that there's a foreign invader here or someone who I believe to be a foreign invader. And I think you should get another country. It's only like basically making it so citizens can also participate in the liberation of the country from illegal immigrants.
Joe Bob
Yeah. And Jamie, you know, I want to make this abundantly clear to the viewers at home. Do not call 866- DHS-TO ICE and report representative Ilhan Omar. Do not do that under any circumstances. That would, that's not a good use of this system. Is there anybody else that you'd like to remind viewers to definitely not call in that number again is 866-DHS-2 ICE.
Jamie Michelle
No, I would, I would definitely like to report Rashida Tlaib. She is a demon and is anti American to her core. But please don't abuse the line. Don't do that. Definitely don't get any ideas. No, but you know, I kind of agree with both of you. I think that the left will obviously abuse this. But I'm happy about the number. Like I feel like I'm contributing to a healthier society, doing my part, being able to just report people that I believe are not in this country legally or that I know. And so I like the effort, you know, I like the creative solutions. But yeah, it'll get abused but we'll see how it goes.
Joe Bob
Well, I also think too if the goal is to like not necessarily have this be a functioning hotline, which it is a functioning hotline, but like understanding all the people that are going to abuse it and pull pranks on it. If the goal is to scare people into self deporting, I'm fine with that too. I think that's worth the effort and hopefully, hopefully the, the administration, I think they do have that in their sights. Matt and Jamie will be back right after the break to discuss why the heck are freaking communists so dang rich and spending all this money on hotels among other things. Remember, you can email the show anytime you want. TPTP USA.com don't go away. We'll Be right back after the break.

Welcome back to Turning Point tonight where together we are charting the course of America's cultural comeback. Remember, you can email the show anytime you want. Tptposa.com we love seeing all of your emails again. Tptp USA.com let's check in with Turning Points White House correspondent Monica Page at the White House. Monica, I, you know, let's, let's start with the Grim first because it's, it's necessary. It's an important conversation. Then we'll, then we'll get to the, the wins, the Grims, then the winds. Maybe that's how we'll do things from here on out. This horrible, horrible video story. We all well knew about the story already, but now that the video has emerged of this North Carolina killing On. On public transit. The president is weighing in. What is President Trump saying about this? Um, I'm. I'm assuming people, you know, filled in the gaps of this guy was a repeat offender. This is a horrible act. And the video is just chilling. What's the president saying?
Monica Page
Well, this just confirms everything that the President has been saying as far as we need law and order, we need to have consequences for these actions. And with the president cracking down on crime throughout our major cities throughout the entire United States, this is just yet another instance as to why cashless bail does not work. This man has had 14 prior arrests. All these different crimes let out continuously. And there needs to be something that is the final nail in the coffin, and maybe this is it. We actually also heard from Caroline Levitt this afternoon, press secretary, addressing this exact same thing, saying that, you know, if you're a member of the media and you've been ignoring the story, you are part of the problem as well. You know, you. You were just as compliant. You are just as guilty in letting something like this happen. And we also heard from Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy recently saying, if you're just going to let your homelessness in your city run rampant and your crime without consequences, you know, not locking people up, then maybe we pull your federal transit funding, maybe we pull your federal funding as a whole, and maybe that's what needs to happen to finally bring justice to the victims and just reinstall law and order and keeping our own Americans safe. Because if we don't address the problem, nothing will get fixed.
Joe Bob
Yeah, I think a lot of those main outlets weren't reporting on it because they were so fervently behind cashless bail. Oh, this will definitely work. But it, you know, as a terrible story, it is. Is good that this is getting more attention on the transit side. Maybe Sean Duffy should p funding for California's endless bullet train that they're never actually going to build, completely separate from whether or not they're doing the. The right things in terms of actual justice. So the good news, I guess, so to speak, yesterday, or it was today, there was a religious liberties summit. Tell us about that. And what the President is saying around what is now hotly contested, this religious liberties in the United States.
Monica Page
Yeah. The President making remarks at the Museum of the Bible this week, and he basically cracked down on, you know, we need to keep God not only in our lives, but in everything that we do. And the President also saying that he's going to donate his Bible to the Museum of the Bible, one that his mother gifted him when he was a child. So that will be on full display as well. And we also heard a panel of not only students, but also parents who have dealt with obstacles maybe in their career or, you know, just even being at school. Heard real life testimonies, real life experiences and stories from these kids saying, you know, I wasn't allowed to wear my Jesus loves me mask in school. I wasn't allowed to perform a religious Christian song at my school's talent show. I wasn't even allowed to mention Jesus Christ in my valedictorian graduation speech. These are just some of the instances of probably many throughout the entire country where students feel like, you know, is it, am I doing something wrong by mentioning and honoring Jesus Christ who's given me life? And, you know, just wanting to honor him and, and just do the right thing. So the president really highlighting some of these stories and saying, you know, it's not a bad thing, you know, we should be doing more of this. We should be bringing God into children's lives and just making this an all around good thing. And we heard from Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick. He's the chairman of the Religious Liberty Commission, Vice Chair Dr. Ben Carson. So it was definitely very interesting to hear these testimonies. And Lt. Governor also teased ahead and said, you know, we're not going to stop at schools and with these parents, we're also going to, to the military as well. And I would, I would have liked to have asked him, you know, what's your plan for the military and these and the Religious Liberty Commission over there? So I'm sure we're going to get some more news not only throughout schools, but also in other sectors of our country as well.
Joe Bob
You know, I think this could be a much longer conversation, but yesterday there was a video of Senator Tim Kaine saying, no, your, your rights don't come from God. They come from the government effectively, which is probably the whole problem to begin with, which is why I think this religious liberty's remarks that President Trump was giving is so important. Monica Page, Turning Points White House correspondent, thanks so much for checking in. Really appreciate you taking the time. We'll see you tomorrow.
Monica Page
Thanks, Joe.
Joe Bob
Bob, thank you. Obviously, spending and the money that we've spent collectively as a country is why institutions like Doge have been so popular. You got to cut waste and figure out this entire debt situation that we're in now. If you zoom back from the entirety of the federal government and the debt that there, there's there, you also still have the issue of person or Individuals spending money that they don't have on things they don't need. I want to bring our panel back. Jamie and Matt. Guys, this is a, this is concerning to say the least. And I'm really curious about what, you know, we do about it as a culture and as a society. Big report from the Wall Street Journal opinion section saying that about half of consumers have used this buy now pay later Service. According to LendingTree, basically it is exactly what it's described as you buy it now and you pay later. Non risky mortgages are falling. According to the fha, there's a bunch of different individual personal finance problems that seem to be afflicting the American people. Jamie, I guess in the conservative world, I mean how much does that translate culturally to individual finance, right? Like hey, maybe don't buy a Chipotle burrito on doordash on layaway if you don't got 15 bucks to pay for it. Maybe don't do it. Is that I don't know how concerning is this to you? And you know what, what can be done about it?
Jamie Michelle
I think it's really troubling and I think it's a huge reason why we see younger people veering more towards supporting socialism. Why Zoran Mamdani is probably so popular because the current system seems to not be working for young people. It's frightening and I wish it weren't the case and I wish our leaders would take it more seriously because I think it's going to come back to bite conservatives in the butt, you know, come election time, the midterms or even in 2028. You know, I always, I'm always blown away that people still vote for Democrats at all. But you know, seeing stuff like this, I can understand where they're coming from, wanting radical change to be able to just like live, live normally, you know, work a job and be able to support yourself. And it's getting really hard for people out there and so I get it. And it's troubling.
Joe Bob
Yeah. You know, to your point, it kind of is one of those situations that there's really not necessarily a particular side and Matt, it kind of just, it feels to me like a cultural system like you gotta fix the culture of people buying things that they can't afford with money that they don't have and governance. I'm not, I'm not even sure how much can be done which is why people tend to tend to gear towards people like Mam. Danny over there in New York City. Matt, what do you need to do in the cultural sector to kind of reinvigorate this personal responsibility, especially around finance.
Matt Nuclear
No, I agree. I believe that like it has less to do with the government necessarily or government involvement. I think it has more to do with how people are spending. I think spending habits, like I don't think the government needs to involve itself on. Like why are people trying to like, you know, buy doordash now and pay later, like the whole doordash thing. Right. So it's like, obviously I think it's like, I think spending habits have gotten worse generally when it comes to the youth. I think teaching people how to better their finances can handle issues like this because I don't see it to be a grandiose type of issue generally, especially from the buy now, pay later programs that I'm seeing. So I believe just people need to be more intelligent about the way they're spending their money and that's how we can solve this eventually. And I agree with Jamie's point that when people catch themselves in these sorts of situations, they would lean more towards socialism and they give people like Zoran Mandani of votes and they support him more because they believe that, you know, the 1% is oppressing them and taking all of their wealth.
Joe Bob
Yeah. You know what I think you can do if you'd like to spend lavishly? Be a freaking communist. I'm about to be a communist myself. After seeing this New York Post article about how much money AOC has been spending on hotels on the Fight the Oligarchy tour. I feel like we've all saw that video of her and Senator Bernie Sanders getting off of a private plane that cost $15,000 an hour. Well, turns out according to the financial disclosures that the New York Post decided To publicize, Jamie AOC spent over $3,500 at a five star spa and hotel when they went to go eat the rich in Las Vegas. She spent almost another $3,500 when they went to topple the 1% in Salt Lake City. Jimmy, why, why is it that communists always tend to be so rich and milk the system that they really, really claim to hate?
Jamie Michelle
Yeah, it's crazy. I mean, it's a tale as old as time. I mean, throughout all of history, you see these leaders that, that preach and want to implement socialism and communism to the masses. They live lavishly. They live like kings and queens. This is making me rethink my career decision. You know, I'm thinking that is there a chance that I can go back and start over and, and run as a communist politician in America and the greatest country on Earth. Because this is crazy. I'm jealous. But you know, it just goes to show that they're such hypocrites. It doesn't mean anything. Their rhetoric is empty. You know, they just want the masses to suffer while they live the high life. And I don't know how their supporters don't get more upset by it. Like, I don't understand how that is a disconnect there.
Joe Bob
Well, and I think too, Matt, one of the quote unquote backlash or like the what about ism, which they claim that we do but do. The most of it is they'll say, you know, well, Donald Trump is a billionaire. Like, yeah, but we, we glorify people doing well in business. You guys hate business and somehow made more money than, than the majority of Americans. I feel like that's just blatantly and obviously not a fair criticism. But what are your thoughts?
Matt Nuclear
No, yeah, this is like crazy. I mean, the Dara, specifically one of the luxurious hotels that she was at is. It's a five star luxurious hotel that has penthouses. I mean, what are we, what are we talking about? So if you're claiming to be a socialist for the working people, why not a cheaper hotel? Like that's a genuine question I'd like to ask aoc, just go to a cheaper hotel. Why a luxurious hotel when you're, you know, fighting the oligarchy, fighting the rich, fighting the people that would be at these hotels, the wealthy people. If you're a socialist, if you're for the people, then go to a more socialist like hotel. Go to a cheaper hotel. Right. So again, it's like a lot of these socialists don't really believe in socialism. They more do this sort of thing to like go on these stores to appeal to the masses, to get that sort of like populist votes. Because everyone wants to hear that you'll just give them money and I'll fix all their problems and that billionaires are evil. Like, everyone wants to hear that. Everyone wants to blame someone else. So, yeah, I mean, it's absolutely embarrassing. And she was also Asher Adams, like you mentioned, in Salt Lake City. So, yeah, it's crazy. You know, it's crazy.
Joe Bob
Yeah, yeah. She's fighting the rich and toppling the 1% with a fantastic mountain view of one of the most luxurious hotels in Salt Lake City. I have a suggestion. Maybe, maybe what we do is we take the whole phrase eat the rich and then turn it into eat like the rich, which is what Bernie. And as he seemed to be doing Jamie, Matt, guys, thank you so much for joining. Really appreciate you taking the time.
Matt Nuclear
Thanks so much for having me.
Jamie Michelle
Great to see you.

Alex Clark
What are some of the most shocking health and behavior problems that mouth breathing can create in a child?
Dr. Dennis Black
Alters the entire shape of your face. It can lead to behavior disorders like adhd, bedwetting, things that you would never think to associate with your face or dentistry or mouth breathing.
Alex Clark
Is this why you're seeing these kids today that, like, have virtually no jaw?
Dr. Dennis Black
Absolutely.
Alex Clark
So the mouth breathing look that people have, I mean, it's a real thing.
Dr. Dennis Black
Absolutely. It is. In terminology in medicine, it's called adenoid faces. Nobody know what that means. But they knew that if your adenoids were swollen and you couldn't breathe well through your nose, that you would look a certain way. So it's so important to make sure that your child is breathing their nose because if not, the shape of their face will literally change as they grow.
Alex Clark
How does mouth breathing do all of that?
Dr. Dennis Black
It's all muscles. Muscles drive bone growth, Right? So if you think about it, if your tongue is where it's supposed to be, in your mouth, which is up, we're all sitting in here right now. And your lips are closed. Your tongue should be resting at the roof of your mouth. If it's not, your lower jaw is going to grow in the direction that it's stimulated. You don't want a vertical lower jaw. You don't want a mouth that's open where your jaw is literally hanging low, because it will be back. If your mouth is closed and your tongue is up, your jaw is going to grow forward, and your upper jaw is going to widen, which is going to give you that full, beautiful, wide smile.
Alex Clark
See, I feel like I have a leg up in life because I was a chronic thumb sucker as a kid, so my tongue is behind my front teeth.
Joe Bob
Oh, my gosh.
Monica Page
Parked there.
Dr. Dennis Black
You know what the crazy thing is? It's actually the opposite. And I was a thumb sucker too. But you don't want anything blocking the roof of their mouth. So a thumb in a pacifier. Don't even get me started on pacifiers. Will literally alter the shape of the upper jaw to be more narrow, not wide.
Alex Clark
Are pacifiers really that bad? If only just for a couple months? When they're.
Dr. Dennis Black
When they're babies, it's totally fine. A little bit. But when I'm seeing your child in my office and they're 2, 3, 4, 5, and they still have a pacifier in their mouth, they call it the greatest orthodontic appliance that exists because it will literally mold to the shape of that pacifier. So they've got to go.
Alex Clark
When you talk about people needing their tongue to naturally sit on the roof of their mouth, how do you get. Get it to then go up if it's naturally on the bottom?
Dr. Dennis Black
Exercises. So myofunctional therapy is one of those things. But here's the key. If your jaws are not wide enough, your tongue can't fit. So if your orthodontics isn't done right the first time to where your palate is nice and wide and broad, you're gonna be told your tongue's too big. It doesn't fit. Which is not true. Alex, your jaws are too small.
Alex Clark
You are a dentist who believes that mouth breathing is a hidden epidemic in kids. This seems so innocuous to me. Like, if this goes ignored, what should parents be aware of for their kids future and their health?
Dr. Dennis Black
They're not gonna age well. This is such a critical decision. I truly, firmly believe that the decision parents are making while their child is growing, this is a critical component to their health. I know how mouth breathing ages, and it turns into obstructive sleep apnea, hypertension, coronary artery disease. This is very serious. And when we miss it in children while they're growing, because we in dental school were not taught to identify those signs and symptoms, we are setting the kids up for failure.
Alex Clark
I think what's interesting is when I talk to my friends who are parents who do have kids that are mouth breathers, they'll say, you know, well, our dentist told us they'll grow out of it. Just give it time. Why is that bad advice?
Dr. Dennis Black
Yeah, I got that advice, actually. So one of my biggest regrets being a dentist early on is telling a parent that their child's snoring was normal and they'd grow out of it. Because that's what I was taught in my pdrtation. That's what you say. You say, their tooth grinding, don't worry, they'll grow out of it. They're snoring, don't worry, they'll grow out of it. That's preposterous. We actually have no evidence of that at all. A snoring child turns into a snoring adult. A tooth grinding child turns into a tooth grinding adult. And when we have a solution that literally cures it from the root cause, but the vast majority of dentists don't know about it, it's really sad.
Alex Clark
What was the moment in your career where you realized that traditional dentistry was really missing the connection between job development, airway health, and kids overall well being?
Dr. Dennis Black
Well, I started screening for sleep apnea. I knew that it was this buzzword like 10 years ago, and I just, I was like, o, okay, if what they're saying, these people are right, that your tooth grinding, your crown falls off, you break a veneer, maybe your implant actually comes loose. Like that might not just be, oh, you needed a night guard. Which is what we were taught. If you grind your teeth, you get a night guard. And yeah, that might protect the one arch that you're covering, but it's not treating the root cause. So for me, as I started screening for it, I started catching it and I'm like, oh, my gosh, like, like what? You stop breathing 15 times per hour and like, your doctor never caught that. Nobody's looking for that. It's huge wait lists. To get sleep studies, you have to actually have a physician that knows about it and would recognize that maybe something that you're dealing with, like tooth grinding or headaches could be sleep apnea. And if your dentist isn't training it, you're totally screwed. Because there's glaring signs in our mouth that we struggle to breathe at night. Glaring. And if they don't know, not that they're doing any harm potentially, they're just not going to talk to you about it. So as I started hearing about it, I started screening for it and I was catching it and, and catching it and catching it. At the time, I had no idea what to do about it. I would just send you to physician for a cpap. And a lot of people don't want a cpap. That is like the gold standard in medicine right now is you get a CPAP if you're diagnosed with sleep apnea. And the understanding of oral appliances is pretty low. Generally speaking, everybody knows what CPAP is. You see it on Hollywood. You see in movies, people are strapping it to their face for oxygen at night. But when there are other options that are way more convenient, way more comfortable and equally effective, the public deserves to know about it. So I just dove in head first. I was like, I'm going to learn everything there is about this. Because there are not enough dentists that are trained in it. They're not enough catching it. And then people started healing. I have crazy stories. Women go missed the most. Okay, you're young, you're healthy, you're thin, you've been sleeping a certain way your entire life. Maybe you had braces like I did too late when you were 13 or 14. I have crazy orthodontic story. And you just sleep that way and you get used to your dysfunction. You really do. You don't know that you're tired because maybe you're sleeping. Sleep quality is really poor. Or you stop breathing at night. Because why would you think that if nobody had ever asked you about it or if it wasn't normal to have a sleep study done that's not in our physicals, which I wish we could change that. Every child in America at school would have a sleep screening done. Really? We look at vision, we look at scoliosis. How do we know that they're actually rested so that they can be good learners at school? That is such a heart for me. In the background of toothpillow. How do we increase the access to this care? Because I started treating it and I started getting kids off medication and I started having kids go from C students to A students. I had kids that were bedwetters way too late in life. Suddenly they're able to go to church camp or they can go to a sleepover or whatever. And I was just sitting there like, what did I just figure out all by myself? There was I had a couple of mentors. I mean this was a huge target on my back, huge target on my back 10 years ago for this. And it's just gotten so much better now because more people are opening their eyes to it and because we're created a giant company that was going to bring it to mom's doorsteps.
Alex Clark
What is the cutoff age where like if your kid is still wetting the bed, this is a huge red flag.
Dr. Dennis Black
So I usually tell parents that if they can hold it during the day, they should be able to hold it at night. So I mean, if you're a two or three year old and you're potty training, there's going to be accidents sometimes at night and stuff. I've got three kids, that's very common. But once you're getting closer to 4, 5, 6. My oldest, Bedwood was actually 19.
Alex Clark
That is a problem, wetting the bed at 19 years old. And totally because they were a mouth.
Dr. Dennis Black
Breather and nobody could figure everything was normal. The bladder function was normal, all the ultrasounds, they could not figure out what's going on. And this person had severe obstructive sleep apnea at 19 years old.
Alex Clark
How does mouth breathing connect to your bladder?
Dr. Dennis Black
It's crazy. Nobody thinks to go to the dentist if their child is bedwetting. But the kind of inflammation and taxing nature of the body when you lack oxygen is huge. So your brain senses a lack of oxygen which can pull from the bladder and cause children to void. There's, there's so much that obstructive sleep apnea causes that I do think more, more people are paying attention to now with, with various influencers and various people talking about it. But the, at the heart of it, you are not a healthy individual if you stop breathing at night. At the heart of it, no organ in your body can survive without oxygen, right? That is literally the lifeblood driving us every day breathing. And when you go to bed and you get these kids and adults that show that their oxygen levels drop to the low 80s. I saw a patient last week in my office, had full braces on. The parents are like, she sleeps terribly. There's, this is a problem. We need to come see you for a second opinion. I didn't do the braces, right? And this beautiful little girl's 13 year old sitting across from me and she's telling her mom, every day I wake up tired, I feel miserable. And there's some measurements we do in dentistry to see how wide your mouth is. It's a very basic one. It's one of the first ones I do if you come see me and I'm just like, okay, let's see how much your mouth grew when you were. When you were younger. She was the size of a 4 year old old. At 13 years old, her pallet width was the size of a four year old. And her mom had spent thousands of dollars on orthodontics at that point. I did a sleep study and she stops breathing ten times an hour. That's massively severe. It's dangerous. They're even saying that some of the hypoxia, some of the brain damage that's happening while these kids are growing and developing is not reversible.
Alex Clark
Holy crap. From mouth breathing?
Dr. Dennis Black
Yes.
Alex Clark
Brain damage.
Dr. Dennis Black
Brain damage.
Alex Clark
Our traditional braces, the best way to.
Dr. Dennis Black
Straighten teeth, they are a temporary solution for straight teeth.
Alex Clark
Temporary solution?
Dr. Dennis Black
Yes.
Alex Clark
I thought it was like you get braces once your teeth are straight for life. Maybe you need to wear a retainer.
Monica Page
Oh, yeah.
Dr. Dennis Black
See, that's where we get you. We tell you that your teeth are going to shift if you don't wear your retainer.
Jamie Michelle
Yes.
Dr. Dennis Black
We blame it on you.
Alex Clark
That's what happened to me.
Dr. Dennis Black
Me too.
Alex Clark
Okay, hold on a minute.
Dr. Dennis Black
So wait, it's not your fault if.
Alex Clark
Your kid has totally jacked teeth. Maybe they don't necessarily need to go the braces route.
Dr. Dennis Black
They need to go jaw development and breathing route.
Alex Clark
Explain all of this.
Dr. Dennis Black
Okay, so you go in and you get braces when you're 13. Let me tell you something. A girl is 94, developed in her head neck by 12. Okay? So we wait. The narrative in dentistry, Alex, is you wait till the baby teeth fall out before you would ever do anything. Like, why would you ever worry about your kids baby teeth? Like, that's literally up there with negligence. They say to treat early. Okay. And I'm telling, I'm here to say the negligence is in seeing a child that is suffering from sleep disorder, breathing and not catching it. That's the negligence, because that's going to follow them forever. So you go in, you get braces. They line them up, which is what they did for me. I also had headgear the wrong direction. Like, I was really cute. There's pictures of me nobody will ever see. Okay. Wraps around the back of my head to bring things back. Braces, by nature, if you do not have a properly trained airway provider, are retractive. They're going to take things and squeeze it this way, make it nice and tight and pretty. They're not focusing on your tongue. They don't know about your lip posture, you're swallowing, are your muscles where they're supposed to be? Are you tongue tied? They're only gonna do any of that stuff. Your muscles dictate the position of your teeth. People don't realize that like your tongue position and your lips are gonna dictate the position of your teeth. So if that's never addressed and identified, they're gonna line em all up. You're gonna pay thousands of dollars to have your kids teeth straightened and they're look beautiful and take them off but that's not stable and then they're gonna have to go back into braces when they're older.

Greetings naturopathy. Dr. Dennis Black here, founder of Rough Green. And if only dogs could talk. I think a lot of them would say, hey, thanks for the love, but this food, it's not working for me. The truth is they'd be right. Because most dog food, wet or dry, is cooked at such high temperatures that every live nutrient in it is destroyed. And what you're left with is dead food bulked up with fillers and sprayed with artificial flavors. That's not what dogs need. But when you add back in the live vitamins, omega oils and antioxidants are in rough greens. Your dog would say something different. Like they'd say, wow, this is delicious. Or sluggish dogs might say, hey, let's go for a walk. Older dogs might say, I feel like a puppy again. It's not magic, it's biology. Don't just imagine it, see it in your dog. You can also get 50% off of tickets to America Fest Turning Point's best event coming this December. Four days of unadultered under un unfiltered awesomeness. If that. If of course you, you love being an American. If you don't, I strongly would not recommend that you attend. Actually, you know what? No, I lied. I, I want to amend that. You should come regardless of whether or not you love America. Because if you do love America, it's awesome. And if you don't love America, you could probably be convinced at America Fest. AM Fest.com get you 50 off General Admission tickets. But it's not going to last forever. Am fetch Fest A M F-E S T.com go get your 50% off general admission. Now with all of the talk about ICE and raids and SCOTUS saying hey, you can do raids and what's going on in Chicago, operation Midway, all of the different things going on around immigration, you know, I thought it would be appropriate to hear from a right wing MAGA extremist when it comes to immigration and that person is going to deliver. What I think is one of the fundamental arguments is why we need to get all of the illegals out of the country and shore up the border. Again, listen to this far right MAGA extremist when it comes to the border.
Announcer
This administration, the Bush administration, has done nothing to control the problem that we have. We've had 5 million undocumented workers come over the borders since George Bush took office. It has become an extraordinary problem. And the reason the American people are concerned is because they are seeing their own economic position slip away. And oftentimes employers are exploiting these undocumented workers. They're not paying the minimum wage, they're not observing worker safety laws. And so what we have to do is create a comprehensive solution to the problem. Now I have already stated that as president I will make sure that we finally have the kind of border security that we need.
Joe Bob
Again, that right wing MAGA extremist Barack Obama, who by the way, he was lying there, I understand that. Save yourself the email which again tptp USA.com that says he was, he wasn't being serious. I mean obviously, interestingly enough, I think the statistic has been floated around there often that Barack Obama started deported a bunch of people, which is good. But can you imagine if in the future after the sensibilities of the American people have been realized that that you have a lib candidate for president criticizing the prior Conservative government for not deporting enough people that, I mean, look, you know, disagree on the actual politics around this sort of stuff. That. That is a country that I would like to live in where both sides recognize.
Dr. Dennis Black
Guys.
Joe Bob
Yeah, this is a huge problem. We should do something about it. Again, right wing maga extremist Barack Obama detailing why we should have the illegals booted out of the country and sure up the border. I do have time for this, which is fantastic. Nobody likes to see Don Lemon get made fun of. And I mean nobody except for myself and most of you watching this. Don Lemon is taking to the streets for some reason, and the streets are not being kind to the former CNN host. Watch this and laugh at. Laugh with me at the fall of one. Don Lemon.
Announcer
How you doing, sir? Can we talk to you? Where are you from? You live in New York.
Matt Nuclear
Who are you?
Joe Bob
Don Lemon. You're a moron, dude.
Charlie Kirk
Thank you.
Announcer
So are you.
Joe Bob
Except you've never heard anything I've had to say. And I've had a whole bunch of what you.
Announcer
I'm glad you watched me.
Joe Bob
No, I didn't. Don't. Why? But you just get clipped everywhere.
Announcer
I know, but why don't you. You said you don't watch me, but you. Yet you know who I am.
Joe Bob
And I get clipped before I realized that CNN and MSNBC were full of. Every once in a while I'd say.
Charlie Kirk
What do you watching?
Joe Bob
I watch all sorts of stuff.
Announcer
Yeah, but why do you say CNN and MSNBC are full of.
Matt Nuclear
Because they lie.
Announcer
But about what? Be specific.
Joe Bob
What's.
Tyler
Everything.
Joe Bob
Everything. Amen, dude. Yeah, everything. I can't give you an entire list because we'd be here for 72 years about all of the stuff that MSNBC, sorry, PMS now, which is, I think is the title of the news station, and cnn. But also too, Don, I think, is under the impression that all publicity is good publicity. And that's true in a lot of cases, but not. Not in his case. Just because somebody's heard about you doesn't mean it's a good thing. Especially if what they know about you is that. Oh, that guy. You're. You're an effing moron. That's, again, not a great reputation to have. That is going to do us for us here at Turning Point tonight. AM Fest.com get you a 50 off general admission. Charlie Kirk is going to take us out. We will see you tomorrow, same time, same place. God bless America.

This guy who did not vote, had voted sporadically in primaries. He'd voted sporadically in other midterm elections or not less important elections, like. Like city council, stuff that's off the grid and stuff like that. So he was kind of in and out, but missed the presidential, the big.
Tyler
One, because he thought he missed the Kerry Lake election.
Charlie Kirk
And he swore up and down he had voted. And so you have a sense.
Tyler
And we know because we have the voter file, right?
Charlie Kirk
All the data, it's there. And it wasn't like, oh, well, his ballot got rejected and came back. He didn't vote. He did not turn in his ballot. And so you have these situations where you have people that are under the impression that they voted. There's a subset of people who just wake up and it's the bad. It's the worst day of their month or year is on election Day. There's a percentage of America that that's.
Joe Bob
That.
Charlie Kirk
The second is you have a. You have a bunch of people who legitimately think that watching Fox News is voting.
Tyler
Correct.
Charlie Kirk
You are listen. Listening to Charlie Kircher.
Tyler
Even worse, giving money to Trump is voting like, they're like, oh, I give five bucks a month. That's my vote.
Joe Bob
Yeah.
Charlie Kirk
My poor grandmother. My poor grandmother. And this is why I actually believe this. My grandma just called me again. My Grandma's in her mid-80s. She's getting up there, and she's kind of losing, losing sight of things. She Just called me the other day and she said, I just got another message that I've been taking off the Republican Party rolls. What's going on?
Tyler
It's these predatory emails that they've got to stop sending.
Charlie Kirk
And it's the emails. But this is part of the problem that you bring up, Charlie, is when people donate, then they think that they've done something and it's actually replacing voting habits by sending these predatory emails that it's actually really, really bad. And the rnc, when it does it, or whoever else that does it, there's.
Tyler
No excuse for it.
Charlie Kirk
You can't do it.
Tyler
Does anyone sick of those email messages you guys get? Right. I feel like they've calmed down a little bit the last couple months, maybe. I don't know.
Charlie Kirk
No, they haven't turned. My grandma just called me.
Tyler
Do you guys still. Are they still doing it in the summer of 25?
Charlie Kirk
And my grandma will listen to this because she's a. She's a Charlie Kirk super fan.
Matt Nuclear
I love it.
Charlie Kirk
And she's on. She's on rap every single day. Like. Like, it's like her entire. It's. She. She watches and listens to you more than she listens to my mom, who's supposed to be taking care of her right now.
Joe Bob
So.
Charlie Kirk
So anything you say, she's gonna do. But this is. But this is part of. So she's gonna hear this. But this is part of it. Is that it's really critical for us to focus first and foremost. This is why at Turning Point and Turning Point Action, when we send out emails, we are talking about the things that we're doing.
Tyler
Yes.
Charlie Kirk
The work that we're doing.
Tyler
Real work. So I want to get to some questions because people I know are chomping at the bed on the political question here. But, Tyler, let me ask you a provocative one. How not the Republican Party institutionally is out of alignment with its voters.
Dr. Dennis Black
Yes.
Tyler
What is the plan? How do we get the Lindsey Grahams, the. Chuck Grassley's great on almost everything, but he's terrible in this blue sip thing. This is where the grassroots is the most frustrated. They're like, okay, we voted for Trump. We donate, we knock on doors. Why are our Republicans so terrible? How do we fix that?
Charlie Kirk
Well, I'm gonna tell you something that you're not gonna like.
Tyler
Okay.
Charlie Kirk
First, the first thing is that some of this has just gotta time itself out, which is like, they have to decide to resign and go back. And, you know, I think America was intended to be what George Washington and Thomas Jefferson intended to be, which was go in, do your job and get the heck out. Right. Go in, be there for a short amount of time and then go enjoy your grandkids and go enjoy your family and your business that you built your entire life.
Tyler
Completely, totally.
Charlie Kirk
And this is the biggest problem, like, and I'll use Arizona as an example, John McCain was not in good health when he decided to run his last time. He died in the middle of his term. People lost their minds when everybody said, are you sure you're in? When a couple people ask the question, are you sure you're in good enough health to run again? He could have easily stepped down. And you know what that would have meant for Arizona, That a consolidation would have happened. We would probably still have another Republican senator, at least one.
Tyler
That's so true.
Charlie Kirk
Because in 2016 we would have had, we had the ability to get somebody in there and then the Democrats didn't spend $100 million each cycle.
Tyler
Yep.
Charlie Kirk
And so it's a selfless thing to get in, I think, into public office and then make the self determination that I'm not going to be there forever. And I think that that's an education thing that's really important. That Turning Point is doing and Turning Point action is doing. We have the Mount Vernon Project.
Tyler
Educate. Go really quick scorecard, Mount Vernon Project, all the stuff.
Charlie Kirk
So we have one of the most inclusive scorecards that's in the conserv movement.
Tyler
What's the website?
Charlie Kirk
Tpaction.com Scorecard.
Tyler
We rate all members of the House and the Senate.
Joe Bob
Right.
Charlie Kirk
All of the federal members. And then we actually have started in on the states. So you can go in at the state legislative level now and actually look at how your people are doing. And we put it all right there. All in real time. Most scorecards don't do things in real time. They go back years. Ours is in real time. So you know how they're doing in real time. Then the second thing we have is Mount Vernon Project, which is, is we focus mainly on the Republican National Committee because the Republican Party, if it gets fixed, a lot of the country gets fixed. Part of the reason why to follow up your question is like, what do we do about some of these people? Well, you know, it would be nice if the Republican Party had cojones every once in a while and would step up and say, hey, you know Lindsey, your time's up, dude. Like it's done.
Tyler
Like, enough of this.
Charlie Kirk
Your state doesn't have term limits. But guess what we have here at the Republican Party it's term limits, so you're done or whatever. Right. Like that. You don't need laws on term limits if your party's actually enforcing term limits.
Tyler
Yep.
Charlie Kirk
And so a lot of people I hate. Drives me crazy when people are like, oh, well, I guess we don't have term limits. And sometimes we get a good person in and we want them in for 40 years and it's like, yeah, but that's like one out of a million. Right? Like, you'd only have so many of those. Most are horrible at the end part of their career, and we got to get them out. And they're totally disconnected by the end of their terms, by the way, with the general public.
Tyler
Let's do 10 minutes of questions, and we have Dr. Orr in 10 minutes. We're just going to keep flowing, everybody. So let's do some questions because this, Tyler in particular, I know elicits a lot. So let's.
Charlie Kirk
And I'll say. I'll say this real quick.
Tyler
Brian, will you.
Charlie Kirk
Raising hands here.
Tyler
Raise your hands, guys, if you have a moment.
Charlie Kirk
We're working our butts off. Our team right now is working their tails off on Arizona, New Hampshire, Nevada. We've laid the groundwork in Iowa for all 99 counties for heading into 2028. We have a great amount of work that's going on, too. So happy to answer questions.
Tyler
We got about 10 minutes. Yes, ma'.
Dr. Dennis Black
Am. Are you guys seeing a movement of.
Jamie Michelle
Money from the rnc, from the Republican.
Matt Nuclear
Party and individual donors over to Turning.
Joe Bob
Point and other groups that are spending time on the.
Tyler
Yeah, let me. Let me start there. Yes, but we're not trying to take donors away from the rnc. If donors want to stop giving the rnc, that's all of your own agency and ability. But, yes, let me talk more about the NRSC and rnc because we want to have a good working relationship. The rnc, it is up to no one's benefit, not to the country, the rnc, or Trump. Best interest for us to be at war with the rnc. We were at one point, and that was a necessary fight that we forced. Right, Tyler? But it was a headache, honestly.
