I literally was like, I don't know which direction to go and where to go, but. But there is one thing we should start with. This is some great news. And we got a US Marine Robert Gilman back from Russia. He was in prison there since 2022. Let's take a look.

Good morning, Whit. He spent more than four years in a Russian prison with six more ahead of him. But this morning he is back in the US After a welcome home surprise by Trump officials. Overnight, former U.S. marine Robert Gilman touching down on American soil after four years in a Russian prison. His plane met by U.S. negotiator and special envoy Steve Witkoff. Trump official Sebastian Gorka posting these pictures on X showing a gaunt 32 year old Gilman given Trump paraphernalia, a cheeseburger milkshake and a cigar. When he first boarded the plane to freedom, Gilman was covered by an American flag with his mother at his side. His family said after years of horrible treatment in the Russian prison, he became essentially catatonic, unable to eat or respond and suffering from a severe bout of pneumonia. President Trump posting on social media he had spoken to Russia's President Putin. And soon afterward, King Gilman was given a pardon on humanitarian grounds. Gilman was accused of kicking a Russian police officer at a train station while intoxicated. Gilman said he had fallen ill and police hit him with a baton while on a visit to extended family. He was sentenced to 10 years behind bars.

When Robert was detained, it broke my heart. I just thought about how hard it was for him to be there and what he was going through.

Born in Poland to Russian immigrants who settled in Massachusetts, where Gilman gained U.S. citizenship, the family thanked President Trump and his team, as well as Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey for helping with his release. Gilman will be treated at a military hospital in Texas for physical ailments and for the emotional wounds he had to endure.

But it's, it's funny how President Trump was like, I'll have the cheeseburger for you that you wanted. And I'm like, he needs a few of those. But I'm, Today, I think, or maybe yesterday, Trump posted on Truth a picture of him and it says, in prison under Biden, liberated under something like that, Lebron or Trump.

So true. He, I mean, Biden left people up there in orbit and Trump went and got them. So.

Yeah, and he also brought back the, you know, basketball player, trans or whatever that was the women's basketball player that,

Yeah, I mean, sure. So there was a study that was done. I mean, the headline is, like, sugar, not just meat, fuels growth of the brain. But I think it's essentially that they did some studies that found that it was important to have enough glucose to fuel the growth of brains, like brain cells. And they said that pregnant and breastfeeding females need a lot more carbohydrates than males because it's helping your baby grow their brain, essentially.

And,

you know, they connect it back to evolution where it's. Basically, they think it's just part of, you know, reproductive success and survival to do this. But that, that's probably why we like sugar so much, that it's, you know, part of that evolutionary relationship that says, you know, why do we like carbs? Well, I. I think part of the answer is that it helps our brains grow. And so, you know, maybe that's something to consider if you're one of these carnivore people or low carb people. And I think the suggestion is that it should probably come from things like fruit and honey as opposed to, you know, just raw sugar.

Right.

[Owen]

But, you know, that. That there is a place for it. And so I think, you know, maybe a little bit back to the balanced diet, you know, to just not have only one thing. I do try to stay relatively low carb, although I'm certainly not religious about it. And sometimes I have a lot of carbs. But, you know, I think I try. I don't add sugar, like actual sugar to my diet whenever I can. But, you know, I do Certainly like my bananas and fruit and yeah, you know, melons.

We're not saying corn syrup. High fructose corn syrup. So everyone relax. All the carnivores and health nuts in the chat. I applaud you, but I don't think it means that kind of stuff. It's more of like natural derived sugars. So. Not that I'm happy about that because I would love anything for someone to tell me sugar's good for me and I should start smoking and I'd be so happy. But anyway, I digress.

But isn't it. So I looked at the story because you shared it with us and I was like, okay, what's the catch? Follow the money, right?

And so I was like, who is. Because you remember how sky would always tell us if they say sugar or coffee or something is like going to be helpful to you, always look at who actually sponsors it. So.

Yeah, the whole interview. I, I, I'm not saying what my opinion is either way, but how did you guys feel in the chat about his wife? Chim? She chimes in throughout the interview. And I'm just wondering how you guys feel, because my thing is we're not used to really seeing that. I think most wives sit there diligently like, oh, it's, you know, I'm very professional. She chimed in a lot. Did you like it? Did you feel like you got to know them better as a couple, like their sense of humor, their dynamic? Or do you prefer her staying silent? And it's no shade either way. I'm just wondering what you guys, what you guys think. But I'll, you know, we'll look after the show for real. We have an I loved it. Only negative comments. She should stfu. You loved it. It's nice to hear from the spouse once in a while. And it's nice to see the relationship. It makes them more relatable. Normal couple. Uhhuh.

Okay. She's a Butinsky. All right. So I, I found it interesting because it's, it did stand out to me like it did to Owen. He was just like appalled by it. Right, Owen?

Well, I don't know. I mean, it seemed like he was at least keeping a good sense of humor about it. At least, like in that clip. I mean, I, I haven't watched the full interview yet, but I like it, you know, it, it certainly seemed like what's going on here because it's Just not what you would expect in an interview like that. Like, you're on national tv. You're. You're. You're with someone. Your husband is potentially running for president soon, which is probably why they're doing this type of interview. And so, like, in that context, you would kind of expect that, like, okay, I'm going to act like the first lady that's going to support my man as he runs for president, and yet it's more like they're at some dinner party talking to another woman, and, you know, the Marco is just, like, making certain claims and she's putting him in his place. Like, no, no, you're not. You. You don't eat that. Like, it's like, it seemed like just out of character for that context, for that type of conversation.

It did totally stand out because of that. But, Marcella, my thought was it's not like it was a serious subject. It wasn't like they were talking about policy. So I felt like. I don't know.

Yeah. When they asked policy questions, like, when does. When do you know? Do you know before the news hits when something's going to happen? Like, you know, Venezuela and all that? She was very cold. She was very shy about those answers. She's like, well, I don't know. He, like, has many calls. I wouldn't know, you know, like, she was very hesitant to answer those questions, but I think it's authentic in a way, because I don't think she's so polished. Like, Like. Like the other wives, I guess. So she was more like a regular person. And maybe she needs a little bit more polish when speaking on any podcast, regardless if it's on national TV or not, because it's going to be used against his. Her husband, you know?

Well, I do have one more clip, so let's look at what. I just find this interesting because I really think it. It stood out to so many people because it wasn't the norm. I don't. I think it was like a relaxed interview and I'd like to see her during a more serious interview if she keeps it together. Owen, any thoughts on it?

I agree with you. I mean, I think it certainly came across as. These are two authentic people that are just sort of having banter with you. Like, like I said, almost like you were at a dinner party with them or they were. You were just talking, like. And I think did seem like they have a good relationship with each other too. Like the. Even though I started off saying, why is she thrown under the bus? And I. I do think she was to some extent, but clearly that's kind of just the dynamic they have. Like, they, you know, I didn't get any sense that, like, he was giving her arrow eyes, like, what the hell are you doing? Or anything. You know, like, it seemed like he expected that or at least wasn't surprised by that kind of dynamic. And so I think it is a very sort of, you know, humanizing interview, which may have been part of the point for all I know. Maybe that's what they were going for was to say, you know, Marco has this image of being kind of stuffy or, you know, like, serious, and let's. Let's have some humor and let's, you know, show them that you're just a real regular person and. And get him more relatable. So maybe that's what they were going for.

Fort Knox. We've come to see the gold. Our country has about 147 million ounces of gold and about half of it is stored here at Fort Knox. We're going to be going deep under underground to see the gold. But more importantly, we're going to be talking today about what happened to our dollar when we separated from gold in 1971. Over 85% of the value of the dollar has been lost since we delinked from gold. So there is a problem. The media now calls this affordability. What it really is is inflation. We run a debt as the deficit runs up 2 trillion a year. Part of that debt is bought by the Federal Reserve with newly created dollars. This leads to inflation and prices are up. And my goodness, just go to the grocery store. Still look at the price of meat. Prices are up 25% in the last five years. It's inflation. It's related to deficit spending. It's related to unbalanced budgets. So we're going to look at the gold today, but really what we're talking about is why is our paper currency failing us and why does our country continue to run such massive debts? So some people are saying it. It's real money or real value to keep it out of other people's hands. Let's see. Part of our. Yeah, I do.

So Grox says gold is not used for everyday currency. It like bold. And that. I don't know why. Minting, circulating coins or routine financial transactions, but it says the main purpose of it is three points. Acting as tangible reserves of wealth for the federal government, providing a hedge and symbol of financial strength, and then serving as strategic asset that could theoretically support the economy or be used in extreme scenarios. So it's kind of like your bunker. The gold is like the bunker, not your. Your bunker. Haven't been there.

So it's symbolic and it's there for when the currency finally fails.

It's a story that has captured the world attention this week. A threat by the Iranian regime on President Trump's life in Turkey last month. The Wall Street Journal reports it was actually Israeli intelligence that tipped off the administration to a specific danger. The report explains the sourcing on this information, saying the US Official said Israel briefed the Trump administration on the intelligence, which included a threat to use shoulder to air missiles to target Air Force One. Ultimately, the president was reportedly moved from Air Force One to another plane using a catering truck. FOX has not independently confirmed that detail.

And the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council said Tuesday the Strait would not reopen until the United States meets all Iranian conditions. Yesterday, US Forces disabled a Panama flagged vessel that ignored warnings in the Gulf of Oman about the ongoing US naval blockade. Centcom said an MH60 Navy helicopter fired two Hellfire missiles into the ship's engine room. Still, the Iranians remain defiant as diplomatic efforts are dragging on.

Well, I agree with both of you. I think it shouldn't have been leaked. I think it shouldn't have been reported on. And I think that whole story that we just looked at, even though it was Fox News, it seemed like anti Trump propaganda to me. It's like, here's, here's how to get him killed next time you want to. And by the way, Iran isn't giving up and you know, all this stuff's dragging on and it was just like an anti Trump story. Like, it's like, let's, let's see if we can get him actually assassinated soon and look at how much he's failing. Like that was kind of the tone of the story. And so it just seemed like anti Trump propaganda.

Yeah. And like nobody would have been talking about it if they didn't leak it. It would have just been like a non story. But instead it's, you know, the journalists feel like, oh, it's an attack against us. It's like, no, it was an apparent potential attack against the President of the United States, slash, free world. I'd rather see the story about all the rhetoric from the Democrats and the radical left that have caused so many people to try and assassinate Trump.

Establishment Democrats are probably breathing a sigh of relief. They were afraid that a Hong victory would essentially hand the GOP the keys to the governor's mansion in November. Hong had faced scrutiny over previous social media posts and lacked the endorsements of prominent progressives like Senator Bernie Sanders and aoc. Her narrow loss coming on the heels of a close race in Michigan, showing that centrist voters still yield a lot of influence, especially in swing states. So did you see, Owen, that they all of a sudden were like, wait, we didn't read the. There were, like, little card readers to, like, do the votes. They said, oh, no, we put the audit votes and not the actual votes. And then all of a sudden, she gained, like, another, like, thousands of votes. At, you know, midnight last night, I was like, oh, my God, are we really doing this again?

It's ridiculous. I know. Scott told us all the time, like, you know, why do we even have voting machines? And there's no good answer to that. And then you see this over and over again where all these weird things happens with the voting machines and suddenly things get wonky. I, you know, I do applaud whoever rigged the election the best to make sure that the far left person didn't win. And I don't know anything about that Crowley guy, but, you know, I guess we'll have to see how that goes. I don't live in Wisconsin, so it's really not my fight. Although I certainly would rather have Republican governors, especially in. I mean, I do consider Wisconsin more of a swing state where. But I'm kind of surprised it's even a swing state. Like, it. It seems to me like the type of place that should be pretty conservative. Like, it's full of people who go hunting and, like, it's blue collar. Yeah. And I. I don't really understand how it became a swing state. It must just be all the college kids. I don't know what else it could be. And other than rigging, because, like, what. Where. But that statement from Walensky and Foushee, given their discussion in text messages, tells you what?

[Dr. Scott Atlas]

Well, it just shows the. The arrogance of power, for one thing, had people controlling the narrative instead of persuading with facts. They wanted to use fear of COVID instead of being transparent. I mean, Laura, this really sort of, in a big picture, violates the most fundamental part of medicine and medical care in an ethical society, and that is informed consent. We're supposed to be a free society. We're supposed to hear the information, be persuaded, and then, by the way, make a choice on what we want to do. If we want to inject drugs into our bodies or our children's bodies, it is absolutely beyond me why anyone would think it's acceptable to have mandated injections of drugs into your body. But to have public health officials discussing uncertainty and then pretend like there was no uncertainty to the public is really beyond the pale. I don't know how to describe it.

Yeah. Well, weeks after texting those concerns, Dr. Fauci said this to the American people.

[Owen]

Since the EUA and under the EUA, approximately 20,000 pregnant women have been vaccinated with no red flags, as we say. And this is being monitored by the CDC and the fda.

[Laura Ingram]

Well, is that accurate? No red flags? None. I mean, anecdotally, I've heard of people having all sorts of problems, Even people who, you know, were married, they were trying to. They were trying to get pregnant, urged to get the shot for work or something else. And inexplicable problems with fertility.

[Dr. Scott Atlas]

Sure. Well, Laura, let's put it this way. I think everybody who's pregnant and every man whose wife is pregnant is concerned about when the wife even has a glass of wine or smokes one cigarette or is even in a room with other people smoking cigarettes. That is the ultimate caution there. There is nothing greater than your care for your unborn child when you're pregnant. This kind of sort of flip attitude. By the way, most of these women that are pregnant by definition are younger and generally healthy. They had a minuscule risk from COVID to begin with. The whole thing is absurd. I want to point out another failure that people don't talk about that is your own personal medical care, your doctor, the doctors, and this is very common, they push CDC recommendations. They coerced their patients with pressure to get vaccinated. They weren't there with the data. They're supposed to be advocates for their patient and advocates again for free choice, informed consent. It was quite the opposite, I think, as most people would agree. The next time we have something like this, I advise people all the time, ask your doctor, what's the data behind the recommendation?

[Laura Ingram]

Well, Dr. Atlas, I can't tell you how many doctors I fired because they tried to push me into things like that. Dr. Atlas, thank you very much.

[Erica]

So it's hard, you know, it's hard to listen to. And I was watching everybody in the chat and the things that you guys all know happened to the fetuses, and it's awful. It's just awful. And again, I just say we don't care about children in this country. And I'm going to come to you first, Marcellus, since we're chicks. So what do you. I mean, it's like. I don't know what you could even say, but jail is definitely not good enough.

We can all have babies, Erica.

[Erica]

Oh, right, right. Owen's pregnant right now.

[Owen]

I actually did a paper on male pregnancy in junior high.

[Marcella]

Oh, wow. You were beyond the times.

[Owen]

It is possible.

Oh, it has.

[Owen]

It has been for 30 or 40 years.

[Marcella]

Who knew? Well, the thing is, you know, looking at it from above, like at the whole situation, part of me, a big part of me thinks that this. This whole Covid situation was One control power, but also depopulation. I do too, because it's just like, let's like. Like Dr. Atlas said, these women are obviously younger, and so they don't really have this fear of. Of getting Covid or if they do get it, surviving it, you know, so it's like it made no sense. So the only thing you can think about is this is what this. The design. It was. The system was designed to do this, and the main thing was to depopulate and cause this issues. But, yeah, I. I personally think we should not get obsessed about Fouchi's justice. Kind of like Dr. Drew asked us to. I think we should jail all the people, not just Fauci, to seek justice. Nuremberg, the trials in Nuremberg. Yeah. No, it's. It's got to be somebody's, you know, they have to face. Regardless of whether they go to prison or not, they have to face justice. Yeah, they have to answer for this. You know, sometimes the punishment is the process, and they do need to answer for all these questions. Now, I know that there's like three states that are seeking investigations. And you mentioned the report, mentioned Megan McCain and how she lost her baby. Like, all of this needs to be looked into and they need to pay for all of this. They do have immunity as. But their immunity beyond the pardon. Government officials have immunity, but beyond. But immunity doesn't say, hey, you can kill people. Like, it goes up to a certain level. So what did they know? When did they know it? How come they didn't say anything? Question them, Owen.

[Erica]

Men. So men can get pregnant, Owen, or they can't. How'd your paper go?

[Owen]

Well, it's a bit of a diversion from this story, but I. The paper was basically that I think they had done something with baboon where they tried it and they were able. They were able to do it. Like, they. They essentially, you implant the embryo in the abdominal cavity somewhere, and it does implant, and it can get all the blood and, you know, starts growing. And then they pumped the male baboon full of estrogen and all the other pregnancy hormones, so basically made it look like a woman to the baby. And then they did a C section at the end. And so that would be. I don't know any man would want

to go through that, but he was a baboon man. He didn't have a choice. Poor thing.

[Owen]

Anyway, but I know in terms of this, I mean, I. I guess I wanted to address the persuasion angle of this. I mean, I agree with all you said that everyone should be held Responsible. But like, to me, this is an area that may be the right one to push on, because I. You, like, put yourself in the shoes of a woman who's trying to have a baby. You know, leave out the abortion. People, like, they want to kill all the babies. But, like, if you're trying to have a baby, that's like your sole focus. Right. Like, all you want most in the world is to have that baby. And you're trying and you're trying and you're doing everything, and you're trying to do everything right. You're. You're looking at, you're asking your doctor all sorts of questions that you never asked before. You read in books. Books like, you know, what to expect when you're expecting was the one that was popular when, when we were going through this. And like, like, you're, you're focusing your whole life around this.

[Erica]

Yeah.

[Owen]

And to have a miscarriage is like the worst thing.

[Erica]

Yeah. It's a death, it's a death of your baby, and people don't take it seriously enough.

[Owen]

And it happens a lot. I mean, you know, my mom had one, and I know other friends of mine that have gone through it, and it's, It's a tragedy. And a lot of them do think of it as like, I had a child and they died.

[Erica]

Yeah.

[Owen]

And for, for these doctors to treat this so cavalierly. Like, we're not, we're just not going to tell anybody about all this. You know, we have these concerns, but we're going to pretend it's all fine and that it's a blatant lie. I mean, every other drug and procedure and stuff, they never recommend it. Like, they, they basically tell pregnant women, you can't do any of that because we don't science to say that it's safe. And the reason they don't have any science to say it's safe is because they don't want to test it because they, they know that even one person who had their baby die in a test is just not acceptable. Right. You can't even fund a study because they get sued to oblivion if it went wrong. And so they stay away from all that for liability reasons because they know they'd get sued out of business, whoever it was. And the, the criminal part of this is that this gene therapy product, this MRNA new gene therapy thing, they decided to pretend it's a vaccine. And then because it's a vaccine, now it gets blanket immunity from lawsuits. So now they can just say whatever they want, and it doesn't really matter and they can't be sued. And it. It's this travesty of our judicial process because they're basically twisting all these things to just take advantage of it. And I think this, from a persuasion standpoint might be the place where you can just get people to really connect with it and say, you know, imagine. Imagine if that was you. Imagine if you were having a baby and they died because of this, because of Rachel Walensky and because of Fauci and because of these people that were covering up their own concerns. And just, even just the fact that they didn't know because you saw those clips, it's like they're just saying, oh, yeah, it's, you know, it's all fine.

[Erica]

And the whole thing, too. They're went, those women are of a younger age. They're healthy. You know, Covid probably wouldn't have been a huge problem for them. You know, like, why don't we ever err on the side of caution and just say, like, you know what? Don't, don't do that, because it is too new and we don't know. But that's not what is happening in this country. And it's really sad. And I think we've got to put the priority back on children, family, having a family, protecting it. I know we're out of time, guys, so, you know, it's going to be interesting to see what happens. I feel so bad for people that, you know, like a Megan McCain, anybody who had this issue, or maybe something's wrong with the baby now, which I know of, or you lost a baby, or you're infertile now. Maybe you weren't infertile before, so who knows? It's really. It's a crime against humanity. So. All right, anyway, you guys, today I will play an Akira song as part of our test. Let me show you my path towards figuring out the user interface. It's important that you know how I got there so that you could have some trust that there's something to it. When I was a kid, I was influenced, as was my mother, by the book the Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale, that suggested that you could somehow change your life, or maybe you are changing reality if you could simply think positive. Positively. Think positively. Think positively. Think positively. So this was my first introduction to the concept that maybe reality was not fixed and something that you were a victim of, but rather you could do something. There was some mechanism, some technique, some tools you could use to give some control over your environment and your life as opposed to having to control you. And that was my first thought that reality could be programmable in at least some simple sense. But of course, I embarked on a life time of exploration to find out if I could find out more about how to program reality. Think positively. Think positively. Think positively. How to program reality. Think positively. Think positively. Think positively led me to learn meditation. I became a trained hypnotist. Of course, mushrooms let you See the world in a completely different reality. And all of these things, from studying all the different religions to doing affirmations, which is really just visualizing what you want and writing it down every day, visualizing what you want, writing it down every day, and then learning persuasion, these all had the same cumulative effect of teaching me that reality was indeed far more subjective than you're led to believe. Believe. When I say reality is subjective, I don't mean that there isn't some base reality that's real. What I mean is that we don't have access to it. In other words, you just take religion. Two people with completely different religions can go into a store, they can shop, they can get married, have children. They don't really need to reconcile the fact that they live in different worlds. One thinks there's an afterlife, one thinks there's reincarnation, one thinks there's nothing. And yet we all survive and thrive and reproduce. There's nothing to suggest that our brains are the kind of brains that can understand reality. Instead, all of the evidence suggests that we can put filters, optionally and somewhat subjectively on our reality. And the thing that we deal with is a filter. We're not dealing with the underlying reality. Our filter on it is the thing that's real to us. And you can change those filters. So that's the important part. And you can change them fairly easily. And if you find a filter that predicts better and makes you happier, well, that's the better filter, even if it isn't a better approximation of reality. What matters is you're happy. What matters is you're getting what you need out of life. Think positively. Think positively. Think positively. How to program reality. Think positively. Think positively. Think positively. So once you accept that there's a subjective reality, you're starting to get ready to accept the user interface for that reality.
