Could this vintage store be any cuter?
A
Right?
C
And the best part, they accept Discover. Except Discover in a little place like this.
B
I don't think so, Jennifer.
D
Oh, yeah.
C
Huh? Discover is accepted where I like to shop.
A
Come on, baby.
C
Get with the times. Right. So we shouldn't get the parachute pants. These are making a comeback, I think. Discover is accepted at 99 of places that take credit cards nationwide. Based on the February 2025 Nielsen report.
A
Foreign. Welcome to this episode of True Crime. Time for Friday, April 10th, 2026. And I'm Woody Overton.
C
I'm Cindy Overton.
A
Two days in a row. It is a record. We're doing it together. New season. Spring is upon us. Everything's growing. We got our garden ready to plant
C
plants ready to plant seed.
A
A lot of them grown. Most of them grown from seed. Could be fire. And we'll post pictures of that, huh?
C
Yes.
A
Yeah. But big, big, big, big time of the year for us. Turkey season's going on. All that good stuff. But more importantly, hashtag what happened to Madison, y'. All. Share that. Hashtag. Please continue to share Madison' that we're not going to do another full episode until a week from this Saturday. There's reasons for that. And. But continue to share stories. Ms. Lynn is sharing almost daily new videos. And go listen to those. Share those videos because nothing will pull your heartstring like a mama crying. Yeah, right. And share it, share it, share it. And calling your tips. Three one, three rlrc Tip. They work. Y' all don't do that. They haven't said it a thousand times for no reason. Hashtag, just for Bradley. Hashtag just for AO. Hashtag just for Haley. Hashtag just for Ms. Barbara Blunt, who, unfortunately, her murder bursary. I hate that word. But it's coming up in a couple weeks. But the calling your tips. Let's bring another one home.
C
Yes.
A
Right?
C
Yeah.
A
Anyway, we love all y'. All. Thank you to all the sponsors. Thank you to Big J's side porch, who, unfortunately, we missed bingo for this week. For the first time in like a
C
month, we gotta give other people a chance to win.
A
Yeah, that's true. That's true. They, you know, they're gonna think it's rigged.
C
Well, that's what I put on my post today. When? Or a couple. A couple days ago when I mentioned that we had three winners at the table, but they don't know how many cards. We probably had as many cards at our table as the whole of.
A
Hey, you know what? I forgot to tease all y' all and say I'm the one that picked those cards.
C
You're right. This time. You pick the cards. That's exactly right.
A
So anyway, but Friday night, steak night. Better go get some of that in the crawfish while they're there. But let's get down to some true crime. Time for Friday, April 10th. Right. On this day when I was 31. What year? What year? What year? Quick, quick, quick, quick.
C
2001.
A
All right. The ding, ding, ding. You win. Absolutely nothing. But you were correct.
C
I got you.
A
Yep. On this day in 2001, Scott Sterile. Scottsdale, Arizona, firefighters responded to a house fire. Because that's what they do. Right. And what else do they do when they respond to a house fire?
C
What do you mean, what else do they do?
A
I'm asking you a question.
C
They go clear the house.
A
They. How about they put out the fire?
C
Well, yeah, first they got a.
A
So once there, the fire was extinguished. And then they're clearing the house and they find the remains of Mary, Brittany and Bobby Fisher. And they were found with wounds which were inflicted before the fire. Mary was found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. And both Brittany and Bobby were found with their throats slashed. Their husband and father, Robert Fiser, he ran, like, a little after the murders and after setting the house on fire. Right. But you know how he did it? He severed a gas line and poured flammable liquid around the property. I mean, let me tell you some public service. If you want to be criminal and you want to get rid of the evidence, unfortunately, because I've worked them. The. When you burn a body up, unless you incinerate it totally, they can still tell if your head's been blown off. They could tell if your throat was slashed.
C
Yeah.
A
And what have you. The one of the ones that comes to mind, the Christmas Eve killing. When they did the autopsy days later, I was praying of a guy accidentally burned up in the car, which didn't happen. He was. He had been stabbed in the side. You know, they could tell.
C
Yeah.
A
So either get your fire hotter, Mr. Bobby. Oh, I'm sorry. Robert Fisher, because you murdered your whole family.
C
Well, you said that in yesterday's episode. You got incinerate. You can't just catch them on fire.
A
Hell, you better believe if I'm gonna burn a body, there won't be anything left. Because It'll be in 27 states, spread out everywhere.
C
27.
A
However many I can do.
C
So if Woody goes on a road trip, what?
A
He stays on road. I'm on a road Trip right now could be spreading ashes. You don't know how you.
C
If I did know, I wouldn't tell.
A
No, only if it's your kids. You tell them.
C
Oh, you're gonna go there with me? You go there with me.
A
No, I don't.
C
Who has your back, bro?
A
All right, bro. Bro. Lay down a story for us Foreign it's time for family matters.
C
I'm pretty sure I'm going to Colorado. Colorado and Arapaho. Arapahapo. Arapaho county. And there is a horrible investigation going on of an 11 year old boy who's been charged with murdering his 5 year old brother while he was napping. While he was napping. So according.
A
I hope he was napping.
C
Right. So according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded on March 10 to a home on South Jericho street after receiving the report of a child's death. And when officers arrived, they found the five year old little boy deceased inside the residence. Investigators determined that the child's 11 year old brother was the one responsible for the murder. And of course the case is being investigated as a homicide. The 11 year old was taken into custody and and is being held at a juvenile detention facility. Authorities have confirmed that the younger child was killed while inside the home and family members stated that the incident occurred while the five year old was napping after school.
A
I don't know how they know that, but whatever makes them feel better.
C
Family members described the incident of course as devastating and said that the brothers apparently were close prior to the incident. But due to the ages of both the victim and the suspect, officials have released of course, limited details about the circumstances of the killing and they have not released the exact cause of death. And authorities have also stated that the case has of course again remained largely sealed under juvenile court protections. But the 11 year old has been formally charged with first degree murder and aggravated juvenile offender sentenced enhanced enhancer.
A
Well, the, that is horrible. There is no winner in that.
C
And they're saying that according to Colorado law there's no way he can be tried as an adult at 11.
A
I think that they, they, that they can rule that they can try as adult, but they're not going to. He's going to get juvenile life 21 9, what, not 10 years. And by the time he goes to court and everything, I'm sure they're going to plead it out. Yeah, I mean it's, it's the family is the victims.
C
Exactly. And they, they go on to say that if convicted in juvenile court, sentencing would focus on Rehabilitation and would be limited compared to adult penalties.
A
Well, something's wrong there.
C
Yeah.
A
And when an 11 year old kills, there's something wrong. I mean, I don't like to speculate on that. I certainly don't think that they deserve death penalty. 11 years old, your brain's not developed and what have you.
C
I hope he gets.
A
Yeah, right. That's the case where you really do
C
hope people get for rehabilitation. Yep.
A
So. Well, I get it. And now we bring you Beast Mode. This story contains a beast made and the story is just trippy. So we're going to Biloxi, Mississippi. You and I like to go there, right? We tell everybody everything about Biloxi. Been there probably a hundred times, including my favorite place where we get the big Bloody Mary and has half a barbecue chicken and smoked sausage and fat bottoms. Yes. And then. And the great seasoning. And that's. That's the big Bloody Mary. If you get the medium. It's got chicken wings and all kinds of stuff. The. But their barbecue ain't as good as Big J's side porch. We're going to Biloxi, Mississippi. And police are releasing new details. This fucking story is out there in the aggravated assault case in which two men were arrested. For now, stick with me on this. For assaulting a man who crushed a two week old puppy to death.
C
Okay.
A
Get it?
C
Yeah, I got it.
A
I'm pretty sure if I was the cop on that scene, he would say,
C
I don't know what I didn't say,
A
but it all began just before you
C
would have been that, mama. Sorry.
A
It all began just before 11:30 Friday night at a home in the 1800 block of Beach Boulevard when the officers recalled 911 units. We have a 103D in progress. There was one of three. Yeah, there was a fight. So they. The officer responded to the fight call. Police say a man and Matthew Bolton were involved in a physical altercation that turned violent. Bolton allegedly striking the victim repeatedly in the abdomen and throwing him into a wall. Okay, so he's kicking his ass. Right. The situation escalated hours later at a home on Floyd Drive where Bolton and Austin Delano are accused of punching and kicking the man while Delano held him in a chokehold. Why? Because the man allegedly said derogatory comments towards a person who's with Bolton and Delano. We only got to the dog yet.
C
Right?
A
Right. The situation escalates again after that when the man purposely crushed a two week old husky puppy which later died, which led to Bolton and Delano to continue to beat the out of this guy,
C
which they should have.
A
So the injured man somehow escaped from y' all and he makes it to nearby home on Jim Money Road and he's begging for help. He was taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries. The puppy didn't make it to the hospital deed and his identity has not been released by police at this time. So charges on aggravated cruelty to dog for that man are pending due to the nature of his injuries as he was unable to be arrested at the time of the incident. Well, let me tell you what that means. The you got it going down. They said probably some chick that was with them and he said whatever. They start whoop on him. He's like gets away from me. You know what your. This your puppy here. I'm stomping his head to death. Then they really beat him. Beat him probably he's in a coma or something. Was in surgery. Cops get all the stuff work that they show up and they're going to go arrest him. Like we only know this motherfucker's gonna be breathing and then like the next 10 hours. Come back tomorrow on your next shift.
C
Who's gonna face more serious charges?
A
Well, if he dies, they're gonna face some more serious.
C
Well, yes, but let's assume he recovers.
A
Well, in the state of Louisiana it's aggravated. Aggravated second degree battery. If a person loses consciousness, has to seek medical attention or is an extreme already that's basically. That's attempted murder.
C
Yeah, but they murdered a dog.
A
Yeah, well they. They attempted to murder him but they did it because they said something. He said something about some derogatory about somebody who. Suicide. You know what? He shouldn't have murdered the dog. But his mouth was writing checks his body couldn't cash. He got shit stomped out of him, I guess. Yeah, like he did the dog. There you go. Okay, so there you have it. Biloxi.
C
Love Biloxi.
A
What you got?
C
I've got a story out of West Virginia. And if this is not to all of our West Virginia. It's not. All of our West Virginia people love them. Yes, but this beautiful country, this is about as West Virginia as you. My people are from West Virginia. So like anyway, in Clindon Clindanan, which is a town in Kanawha County, a woman is facing felony charges following a violent confrontation inside a makeshift residence. Now this makeshift residence is described as a chicken Cooper. So she's living in this residence.
A
I want to get my chicken coop over here. I'm going to call Aunt Patty and them about how they Keep their chickens alive.
C
Yes.
B
You know what they say. Early bird gets the ultimate vacation home. Book early and save over $120 with Burbo, because early gets you closer to the action, whether it's waves lapping at the shore or snoozing in a hammock that. That overlooks. Well, whatever you want it to. So you can all enjoy the payoff come summer with Verbo's early booking deals. Rise and shine. Average savings, $141. Select homes only.
A
Love them yard eggs. Okay, thank you. That lady last week who gave us unsolicited gave us a dozen yard eggs.
C
It is a crying shame when you have to crack a regular egg.
A
You cracked it. We used to have them, y', all, and then we were gone out of the country in and killed them all. But she cracked the one egg in one bowl, and one other one doesn't even look like the same.
C
No. And the orange of these is various colors because you have various chickens, you know. But one of the oranges is literally as orange is like fluorescent orange that hunters have to wear.
A
And the flavor is fantastic.
C
Right. That's where the flavor is. Well, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office, Deputies responded on March 31st of this year to a disturbance on Big Sandy Road. And when they arrived, they spoke with a man and his daughter who reported that they were living inside a converted chicken coop. On this particular property, they were living
A
inside a chicken that's been like the one I built that.
C
I thought it was the Fort Knox.
A
Yeah, I took two horse store stalls, y', all, out of this big barn that we have in a meet at Fort Knox. But evidently, it wasn't.
C
Well, investigators say that a woman named Anna Groves went to the location, meaning the chicken coop, with another individual who has been identified as Jason Groves. And they attempted to force entry into the structure while this man's daughter was inside. Authorities say Groves entered the residence, if that's what you can call it, and confronted the occupants. And during the encounter, the daughter armed herself with a knife and stabbed Groves. So both Groves and the other individual fled the scene before deputies arrived. And a short time later, law enforcement was notified of the stabbing, and the victim went to Camc General Hospital in Charleston. And Groves was treated for her injuries as well at that location. Well, during the investigation, Groves reportedly told authorities she went to the property to confront the resident over money she believed had been stolen. And she admitted she intended to to assault the victim, but denied making any threats to kill. Investigators also stated that Groves admitted she Planned the physical attack of the resident over the theft. And no charges will be filed against the daughter who that was self defense that went and got the knife and you know, stabbed. But a warrant has been issued to Anna on felony burglary charges and the investigation remains ongoing.
A
But that's crazy.
C
We, yeah, we need our chicken coop. And I hope that those people recover. And I don't know. I can't imagine living in a chicken coop.
A
Well, the one we built that I thought was fort Knox was. I mean, eight people could live inside that son of a bitch. But we have another one on another piece of property that we used to use. We just got to get moved over here. But that thing weighs like a thousand pounds. But it's not big enough for a human.
C
It's definitely not big enough for a human. A small one, but it was a really good purchase because it was a father and daughter that were making them together.
A
It was like 16, 17 years ago.
C
It's as old as W.L.
A
they made it. The father and daughter made it. It's a pretty cool thing and. But you know, we used to travel a lot back then too. And. And when you travel, somebody's got to take care of your chickens included. And that's the way it happens. If they don't and something that gets in, then you're all it's time for. Effed up professionals. Lots of different college degrees you can get, you know, you can get associate's degree for two years, you can, you know, whatever you can get I T. Tech degree, you can go all the way up, you can get a little, become a lawyer, you can become a doctor, right? That's, you know, you become a doctor, it's just a long, long road of hoe and in. You gotta be smart. Book smart anyway. And you think those are good people? Well, I used to hold the contract for Louisiana physician examiner's board and nursing board. And I can tell you there are good and bad in every profession and you wouldn't believe some of the shit that doctors do. I'm gonna tell you about an Arkansas doctor and he got his ass arrested alone with seven other people for their roles in a long running fraud and kidnapping scheme that targeted patients who'd been receiving treatment inside a hospital's behavioral health unit. Now if this doesn't sound like a fucking horror movie, I know this is a doctor and seven other people kidnapping these people that are locked up in the mental wards, right? So department of justice says that psychiatrist Brian Hyde was the mastermind behind the scheme at the Northwest Medical Center Behavioral Health unit in Springdale, which he's. He ran it, y', all between 2018 and 2022. He was the chief hombre. Right. Also arrested in the federal probe were advanced practice registered nurses Devon Talbert and Lindsay Hess Gutier, registered nurse and former director of the Northwest Medical Center Behavioral Health Unit. Miranda Newburn, informer, admissions and assessment referral coordinator at the Behavioral Health Unit, Robert Green and former behavioral health unit techs Georgia Gigi Rice, Owen Benjamin and Colin Harlan. Now they are charged with kidnapping, Medicare fraud and drug related offenses. Right. You just wonder where this story goes. Well, the federal indictment says that the aid defendants held patients at the hospitals against their will, sometimes via chemical restraints. Right. Which means that doped them up so they know where they're at or the administration of powerful sedatives. They also use verbal threats, intimidation, coercion and physical force to keep the patients assist. Essentially kidnapped where they kidnap them to inside the facility they want to hold them in. Could you imagine being there because you already have the mental problems and then these people are doing this to you and like, what if you like got fixed or got. Or got another control in your life? Holy am I my tripping on my steel?
C
Exactly.
A
Crazy.
C
Yeah.
A
So federal prosecutors said the motive for the scheme was ding, ding, ding.
C
Money, money, money.
A
Financial. With patients being kept longer than medically necessary in order to rack up Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance bills. Staffers, according to the diamond, staffers would often give patients who'd been looking to leave another shot, causing them to stay like I want to get out. Okay, well let me give you this shot of Thorazine. So your doctor hat is named in more than 200 active civil lawsuits all accusing him of holding patients hostage just to boost his profits or. I mean, you're a doctor and you're a psychiatrist. You go put people on the couch for 400 an hour. You don't have to hold people who are mentally ill anyway. Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin. Attorney General Tim Griffin said in a statement that his office has led the state level investigation in the Hyatt's bullshit. He said, my office has led the investigation and prosecution of Dr. Hyde at the state level. And I am pleased to see the federal authorities bring their own charges. We were working closely with our federal partners in their case to ensure Hyde and his co conspirators are held accountable for their crimes. So attorneys, here's St. Cindy's favorite part. No, this is for the victims. But attorneys for heights alleged victims told 5News Online that the federal charges are encouraging. Matt Lindsay, who's a partner at the Odom law firm representing one of the victims, said the indictment validates many of those lawsuits. Because, you know, it's kind of hard to get. These people were in there from mental issues, right?
C
Yeah.
A
He said, we just think this is the first step towards justice for the thousands of victims in this fraud scheme and frankly, in kidnapping scheme at Northwest Medical Center. Folks that seek out help for mental health issues deserve to be treated with sincerity and kindness and have their issues heard. And that's one time that I couldn't agree with a lawyer who sued for. Yeah, that's just horror show effed up professionals on such a level. Now how do you think they. They divvied that up? So he's. You're the head of the mental ward for a lot. I don't know if they call it that psychiatric ward, which I. Look y' all just maybe a year and a half. A little more or so ago, I had to put one of my family members in, you know, and you're really place the ultimate trust in those people, but you're the head of it and you keep these people in because they bill an obscene amount of money a day. You keep them in, but that. I mean, all those bills have to be sent in. The money comes out. At what point you get the. Is it your weekly poker night with your seven other asshole friends that you
C
distribute the money or your yacht or your trip to?
A
Yeah. But at some point the money comes back. I mean, is he. Is he a shareholder in the fucking hospital? Where. How do they get the money back? So I'm wondering from a criminal mind standpoint.
C
I don't know.
A
I don't either. But I bet you the feds know.
C
Yeah.
A
So F them. F them. Those effed up professionals.
C
Yeah. Well, family matters.
A
It's time for family Matters, y'. All. We have 99 of the stories we get are family matters.
C
Yeah.
A
And it's not like we just want to just hash on families and. But that's just what gets reported.
C
I know. And then it's eerie to me sometimes how our stories kind of like bounce off of each other.
A
Right.
C
Like I just pull up my next story and it's the weights.
A
I'm pretty sure that's Leah Marie, our investigative producer, because she. She'll send them to me in like groups, kind of things that are related. And I'll send you some and some whatever. But I mean, she finds shit like the doctors in Arkansas.
C
Yeah.
A
Who gets that?
C
Well, the stories that you sent me for. For the. For today. I went out, I had used. And so I had to go back to some prior stories you sent me. And I just pulled this not knowing that that's what you're going to tell this story.
A
Right.
C
But these go hand in hand. We have a Texas man who held his wife captive in a bedroom inside their $1.1 million mansion in Houston for five years.
A
He held a captive inside a million dollar mansion.
C
Yeah.
A
I wonder if they had door dash so well. Or is she still cooking?
C
No. James Earl Johnson, who's 46 years old, was arrested Friday and charged with injury to a disabled individual in abandoning or endangering a child, elderly individual or disabled individual. According to Harris county criminal court records, he kept his wife under lock and key in the home they shared with with their adult children.
A
Oh my God.
C
So the wife did not have access to.
A
Miss, y' all come check my locks. So they might have me locked in.
C
The kids being on it have access to. She did not have access to a phone or food and Johnson would leave her one egg a day and feed her some dinner. According to the document, the victim is 46 year. Is a 46 year old disabled woman. And she actually finally managed to call 911 after Johnson mistakenly left his phone on a nightstand in a bedroom.
A
There you go. Sooner or later you fuck up.
C
So he cut, he cut the call short when she's on the phone with 911, slapped his wife and carried her back to bed before hanging up on the 911 dispatch.
A
Yeah, because that's going to work. 911. The cops aren't coming.
C
Not so. The victim was hospitalized on Monday according to her adult son and he did not elaborate on the nature of her disability. And the husband's behavior went undetected for years. Neighbors understood to have been unaware that the woman was being held hostage in their 6,783 square foot mansion. So the victim tried to contact police at least one prior occasion and officers responded to the residence, but nothing was done. The victim also allegedly claimed that she and her children were told to stay quiet and not speak to police. And Johnson was released out of jail on a $50,000 bond.
A
But I bet he got a no contact order.
C
He's trying. He is staying with a nephew. With his nephew and blah, blah, blah. I mean just disgusting.
A
They said what he did.
C
Oh, he's a master electrician.
A
I was going to say. What are they different do for a living?
C
He's a master electrician.
A
Probably owned his Own business.
C
And he purchased the home in 2015.
A
Yep. Yeah, well, you know what? Whether it's a chicken shack or a mansion doesn't matter, right? The crime is the crime.
C
And I wonder if she's actually disabled because they don't say what it is. But they do go on to say that there, there's court records showing that the wife that's being held hostage took the man to court family court in 2001 and again in 2002, seeking child support.
A
Wonder who fucking knows.
C
I know.
A
Who knows? Who knows? But I bet you don't know anything about this next story. It's time for Dum Dum in the court. All right, we're going to California and I do not think we've done this particular form of sexual
C
act.
A
I know. Maybe, maybe close. This one is one Woody Overton to definitely never be accused of Modesto, California and a man. This is why he's a dumb dumb in court, because he's been convicted and I'll tell you about it in a minute, but he's been convicted of a stalking and breaking into a home with the intent to commit a sex act after he snuck into a woman's home and three guesses, raped her. Any kind of sex acts that's on you is rape that you don't want. How, what, what type of sex act did he commit against this woman? That's a crime.
C
Sodomy.
A
No, I mean, we've talked about sodomy before.
C
We've never talked about this before.
A
I don't know if we ever have it. Give me one more.
C
Well, I don't know.
A
All right, so he breaks into the home with intent, commit a sex act after he snuck into the woman's home and sucked on her toes as she lay sleeping in the bed.
C
That's disgusting.
A
And this according to the DA and the sheriff. Yes, that's fucking disgusting. So the Stanislaus County DA announced last week that this dum dum in the court, 28 year old Christian Alejandro Solero Angoeno was sentenced to the maximum under California law of six years and eight months in state prison. The DA refer to him by his last name of Solario y', all because he's got 10 names. But Solario pled no contest to the crimes. Dum dum in the court. And I mean, can you imagine standing up there and getting six years for sucking on a woman's toes? But he's still facing federal charges related to drug trafficking. So the conviction, dumb dumb in the court stems from what prosecutors described as an obsession with a particular woman that began in early of in 2025. Sir Lario often showed up at the woman's job several times a day. Not just once a week, several times a day. And he hung around, loitered around outside to contact her when she left.
C
Okay.
A
I mean, at some point, Chick's gonna know something's up, right?
C
At some point, I hope she reported it. But.
A
Well, Dumb Dumb in the court. He asked her out several times in. Obviously she said no. And once he sent her a letter telling her he wanted to take her to Mexico. He would sleep in his car outside her house in the alleyway, and he watched some of her family leaving her home, checking on doors to gain access. This solved the. The cops have proven all this in the court, right in this. Dumb dumb in the court. Now let's get down to the meat of the matter, the lick and taste. Well, on May 21, 2025, the Stanislaus county sheriff said that Solario Fantasies didn't do it. No, he didn't say all this on this Woody. And Fantasies didn't do it enough anymore. So he breaks into the woman's home in Sores, California. The woman inside told deputies that the man entered her bedroom and bit and licked her toes and tried to get her into bed. I mean, that's not even one of my stories. Or like, dude, that line, if you use it a hundred times and you get lucky once. Yeah, when you. When you bite her, you might have got away if she was like a really hard sleeper, licking on her toes. But when you bite her toes and you wake up and you're like, come on, mama, give it to me. Well, the woman pushed him off and called 91 1, but not before she talked with him in a friendly demeanor to keep him calm. This court to D.A. right? Exactly. Other family members went into her bedroom and demanded that he leave. And guess what? He ran like a little. Sheriff specialist victim unit investigators were able to use the woman's statement or statements, along with the video surveillance to find him and arrest him on burglary, stalking, and sexual battery charges. And our Dumb Dumb in the court admitted to breaking into the home to contact the woman. This according to the da and there you have it. And he got six years. You know, he got more than some murderers get in California.
C
That's what I was thinking.
A
No, don't be right. Well, he did a lot of. Well, the stalking and burglary, same thing. People don't realize if you break into a house, even if you don't steal something it's burger. Yeah, right. But he stole a little bit of DNA off her toes.
C
You said there was also like set drug charges. How does he that doesn't feel drugs stalking her constantly.
A
I didn't ask Ms. Solaria dumb down in the court because I didn't care. All I cared was about he got DNA off her toes. I wonder if they DNA swabbed his mouth right? Or her toes. That's up. That is it would be if I wake up is biting and licking on my tail.
C
They won't, I promise you.
A
I was about to say I just take my big toenails, slice their throat Zorro. No, I do it in a former ww. Then I'll call Kool Aid. The chief of the Texas nicely Shan Paris said come get this dead body out of my house.
C

C

A

C

C
Oh, gosh, here we go.
A
What is the state motto for Maine?
E
Here's an answer from the flatbny.com.
A

C
I don't know. Stone.
A
Louisiana's Sportsman's Paradise.
C
Oh, here. That would be the motto.
A
I thought what is Maine's motto? Fuck it. If you're from Maine, let us know.
C
I was thinking I can't believe I can't remember our lifer from Maine that came and she was like, we're not the Granites or whatever.
A
I get it wrong every time and I apologize. We love our life for some Maine. Amain's a beautiful place. I'm gonna look it up while you can tell a story.
C
Okay. Well, Amain, a man is being charged with attempted murder after he set his bed on fire with his girlfriend in it. But he was also still in it. So.
A
Okay.
C
Police responded to a home on Beechnut Hill for a report of a fire that had been intentionally set inside the home. Investigators say the homeowner, who's terri Couture, who's 41 years old, set the bed on fire following an argument he had with his girlfriend while both he and his girlfriend were in the bed. Authorities said the fire was quickly put out and there was no serious injuries reported. But Couture was arrested and charged with attempted murder, arson, aggravated criminal mischief and domestic Violence, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon. And the investigation is ongoing. If you're gonna set. Well, this is the winner, too, if you want to look at him.
A
Nice. Nice hair day.
C
I mean, if you're gonna set fire to your bed, I don't really think you want to be in it. Just my thoughts.
A
Well, I mean, you know, maybe you
C
do, maybe you do.
A
Maybe you want to ex. Do whatever.
C
How about you? Do you?
A
You? Do you?
C
Yeah. So.
A
All right, so back to Maine. I am now going to be famous about Maine. So evidently it is. So it's I direct. The state motto is dirigio, which is Latin for I lead or I direct. Now, I'll tell you a couple things about Maine. All right, so Maine is renowned for its rugged, rocky coastline. Iconic lighthouses. Like that one. Those kettle chips. That's pretty cool. And premium seafood. Thomas Davenport, attorneys at law. Send us some lobster. Three primary things Maine is famous for, which we've had the number one, Tommy Maine lobster. Maine is recognized as a source of 90% of the United States lobster supply right to the Arcadia National Park. And number three, they're. They're famous for their lighthouses and coastline. Let me throw this in there real quick, and we'll end the show. What are some common main slang terms? You know, they got that accent right. I know. They say the same thing about us. Well, some of the common ones are a piece.
C
A piece?
A
Yeah, like you're a piece of. I guess. Oh, European, which is a unit of linear. Linear measure equal to whatever the person attends at the time.
C
Like, break me off.
A
So we got to go up here, please. Yeah, we got to go up here a piece. Right. Okay, here's another one. You and I both use a form of this. A y. U h. Yes. Right. Which is the first. The first word of most mainborn babies. That's funny. Beans.
C
Oh, beans is like beans.
A
This says beans of Mecca. I don't know what that means, bubba. This I don't know.
C
Hi, Bob. You're in trouble.
A
Nickname. Nickname for anyone. Bug, which is another name for lobster.
C
Oh, big bug.
A
Shout cunning. Finest kind. And I'm gonna end with that because I have no idea what any of that means. But we love our main people, our main lifers and all that. Good.
C
What would you like?
A
Maine is given the nickname the Pine Tree State. Well, you know what? I could have got the window right here and see how long leaf pines you stand.
C
Would you like to know the real Granite State? Kind of the same for no.
A
New Hampshire. I figured out sooner or later after 50 states, I'm going to name this the Maine said. What is something you can only get in Maine?
C
Only in Maine? I don't know.
A
Well, inquiring minds want to know. You can only get the Bakewell cream baking powder in Maine.
C
Okay.
A
Or Maine maple syrup. Or Kate's butter.
C
I need that butter.
A
Or Morris's sauerkraut.
C
There you go. I need that.
A
I think that's enough for the day. About man. So what is the most famous crime that ever occurred in Maine?
E
One of the most famous crimes in Maine history is the 1983 murder of Charlie and Mina Broughton in Bangor, often referred to as the Bangor Mall murders. Another widely known case is the 1981 disappearance and murder of 12 year old Sarah Cherry in Bowden, which led to the controversial conviction of Dennis Duchene, a case still debated today.
A
And there you go. I ended was all about Maine, but I ended it with some true crime time in Maine. Right? It's true. All right. You got anything else, mama?
C
Nope.
A
All right. I don't either. We love and appreciate each and Every1ofY'. All.313RLRCTIP. Hashtag what happened to Madison. I'm Woody Everton.
