Hello everybody, and welcome to this episode of Real Life, Real Crime, the podcast. As always, I'm your host, Woody Overton. Today we're continuing the hashtag what happened to Madison? Now, Madison Renee Allen went missing out of Zachary. You've heard the previous episodes with Ms. Lynn, Madison's mother, and the Patreon of convicts. You get it commercial free, early releases on Saturday nights. Everybody else gets it on Tuesday. But in the last episode with Ms. Lynn, she was telling about a young lady who had a run in, if you will. I believe she would have been a possible victim of the guy that Ms. Lynn's been talking about. And so her name is Morgan Lamberth and I have her on the phone with me today. Morgan, are you there?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes, sir, I am.
Woody Overton
Okay, so the. Y', all, I want you to hear Morgan's story because this lets you know is real. And, you know, Morgan's on the phone with me, and the. I believe if. If certain things hadn't happened, Morgan hadn't done certain things correctly, that she could have possibly been another victim. So, Morgan, introduce yourself.
Morgan Lamberth
Hi,
Woody Overton
Morgan, where are you from? Where are you from, Morgan?
Morgan Lamberth
I'm from Prairieville, Louisiana.
Woody Overton
Right. And so after last week's episode, Ms. Lynn called you?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes, sir. Yes, she did. She reached out to me asking me if I wouldn't mind telling my story on your podcast. And I told her it wouldn't be a problem, you know, because I had already talked to the detective out of Zachary and everything else, so I didn't mind sharing again.
Woody Overton
Well, I really appreciate you taking the time. And you and I talked and you told me your story last week, and I was like, would you please come and tell people? Because people around the world need to know that. That these situations are real. And, you know, there before the grace of God goes you or someone else. Right. So the. So how did you first hear about. How did you first hear about Madison being missing?
Morgan Lamberth
Through just Facebook posts, the news websites and all that, being following them on Facebook and everything. And so it was really circulating social media a lot on. On my page, on my Facebook page.
Woody Overton
Right. And that, you know, Morgan, and in these kind of cases that. That I work is so, so very important that people share because the more shares, get more tips. And y', all, the tip line is 313 rlrc tip. Yeah, I've gotten numerous tips already. Please continue calling you tips. Nothing is too small, including Morgan's story. Right, that. So you're seeing it on Facebook and all that. And so. So this. Your incident occurred back in December?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes, sir.
Woody Overton
December 2025. Can you tell me what was going on that night? You know, I'm a shut up and I'll just let you tell your story.
Morgan Lamberth
Okay. So was roughly, like, probably one o', clock, almost two o' clock in the morning, and my boyfriend and I caught a flat tire off Range Avenue in Denham Springs. And so we had pulled into the Purple Cow parking lot, and I think I forgot to tell you this last time I talked to you, but when my boyfriend had gotten angry at me and took all the stuff out the trunk and told me to donate it or throw it away or whatever, since we were at the Purple Cow, the car initially was. Was not there, or at least to my Knowledge. It wasn't there. Thomas Morris's car.
Woody Overton
Right, Right. So hold on. Hold on one second. Let's go. Y' all catch a flat tire. You pull into the Purple Cow, and y' all lifers. That's pretty much right there, close to the interstate in Denham Springs downtown on the main Dragon. And you pull in, your boyfriend's mad about the tire. Y' all get out of the car. I mean, how do. How does the trunk get.
Sponsor Announcer (Big J's Side Porch)
Tell us everything.
Woody Overton
Like, I mean, paint it like a movie for him. And then if you can, in order.
Morgan Lamberth
Okay, okay. I'm sorry. Okay, so, yeah, when we were going down range, we caught the flat tire. So he backs into the parking lot, like, in the parking space where there's grass right there, that. There's a little side street that goes in between the shopping center, and I think there's a restaurant on the other side, a couple other little businesses. And so he gets out to look for a spare tire, and he doesn't find one. And he's, you know, he's angry. And he throws everything. Like my clothes and just a bunch of stuff, toiletry stuff. I had a whole lot of stuff in my trunk.
Woody Overton
Right.
Morgan Lamberth
And he throws it out, and he's like, get rid of this stuff. You don't need none of this. And then he takes off and goes to a spare tire. I don't know where he went initially. You know, he just left me there. That's all I know.
Woody Overton
Right.
Morgan Lamberth
And so whenever I'm cleaning up stuff, packing it up, it's like been maybe 10 or 15 minutes. And then that's whenever I realized the car that's sitting in the parking lot. And then you'd have to. It's kind of hard to explain. So the front of the shopping center, I'm at a point where on the side, you can see both the front and the back. Does that make sense?
Woody Overton
Yes.
Morgan Lamberth
Okay. So I can see that. I can see the car, and it's just barely in my vision of the front of the shopping center.
Woody Overton
And what does the car look like? Describe it.
Morgan Lamberth
It was. It was an older model Infinity. Like, really old. It was gold, and I believe it had tint.
Woody Overton
Okay. And so you see this car pull up. It wasn't there at first. Or. Or you. At some point, you look up and notice his car is there. Did it. Was it running? Did it have the lights on?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes, it was. It was running. It did have its lights on.
Woody Overton
And at this time in the morning, this car just appears out of nowhere. And, you know, you Got your trunk open and this car appears. What? What did you think?
Morgan Lamberth
Yeah, I thought it was kind of weird at first, but I just kind of continued doing what I was doing until it started to come towards the side of the building where I was at, to the back of the parking lot. And then I kind of stopped what I was doing just to pick my head up and look.
Woody Overton
Right. I was so, you know, making sure you noticed.
Morgan Lamberth
Go ahead.
Woody Overton
You noticed the car was pulling up closer to you. You saw it at first originally. You continue your business and you look up and this. Now it's pulling up closer to you.
Morgan Lamberth
That's correct. And so I lift my head up just so you know, I. I didn't know who was in the vehicle at first, you know, So I just wanted to make them aware that I'm aware of them, you know?
Woody Overton
Right.
Morgan Lamberth
So they don't do anything at this point. They circle around back of the building towards where the dumpsters would be at, and then they go to the other exit that's on the. My left side. Because I'm back into the parking lot and I'm still just doing what I need to do and packing stuff in bags to go donate or throw away. Well, it goes back around to the front for about five more minutes and then it comes and the car comes and pulls up next to me and the guy has his window down. And at this point in time, I still did not realize who it was, but I got really freaked out because he put his driver's side door right by my driver's side door.
Woody Overton
Right.
Morgan Lamberth
So I hurry up and go donate the stuff that I was donating, getting rid of out the trunk. And by this time, my boyfriend's still not back
Woody Overton
and, and the stranger is now pretty much, you know, door to door with your driver's side door. He sees a. What? You know, a young white female, but alone in the parking lot. And it's 1 o', clock, 1:30 in the morning, and you see you've been watching them and good job. When you have your head on the swivel that time of the night. Right. But you've been watching a bit, you know, he's driving around, moves up closer than, than he drives around, and then he pulls up right beside you. Could you see, could you see him at that time when he pulled up?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes. So wherever he pulled up, he rolled his window down. But I, at that, I still didn't realize who it was.
Woody Overton
Right.
Morgan Lamberth
Until I, like I said, I was getting rid of all this stuff and putting it by the Door of the Purple cow, because that's the parking lot. It was. It was at the park Cow. And I get in the passenger seat because that's where I was already sitting, you know, And. And even then, with somebody doing that, I more than likely would not have gotten in my driver's seat.
Woody Overton
Right.
Morgan Lamberth
If I was driving, I probably would have hopped over.
Woody Overton
Right.
Morgan Lamberth
So I'm. I'm freaking out because I sit in the car for another five minutes, and, like, this guy's got his window down. He's not saying nothing. He's not looking up. And so I call my boyfriend's friend, his girlfriend. I call his girlfriend Brandy, and, you know, I'm like, brandy, I'm like, you guys, can you guys please come up here? You know, my. My boyfriend left me. Can you please come up here? I'm by myself. There's a weird guy, you know, And I told him the whole story about how he was circling and everything, and how he put his dry side door by my door. And she was like, well, just blow down the window and ask him what his problem is. And so then I do so. And I roll it down, and I didn't know that Brandy's boyfriend had my boyfriend on the boyfriend's phone, if that makes sense.
Woody Overton
Right, right. So he's trying to answer me.
Morgan Lamberth
Yeah. But he's on the phone with his friend.
Woody Overton
Right, right. Well, he's, you know, being mad at you or whatever, but thank God your girlfriend's boyfriend called him. Right. So he called him and said, you know, probably like, what's up, dude? She's calling, and she's, you know, in the parking lot. She's got some strange dude beside her, but you. And so what do you. Do You.
Morgan Lamberth
So Randy told me to ask him, like, hey, man, do you have a problem? So I. I reached. I lean over to the driver's side, and I roll down the window, and I'm like, do you have. I asked him, do you have a problem, sir? He was like, no, I'm just chilling. And then that's. At that point in time when he looked up at me and I was able to look him in his eyes was when I realized that that's who it was. And then I'm still on the phone with Brandy, and I'm like, randy, that's the guy from the Facebook post with the three missing girls. And then at that point in time, it kind of all played out fast. I don't really remember if there's anything in between what the conversation was, but that's whenever My boyfriend came from around the building, came walking up, and that's whenever I try to tell him. And then he didn't really listen to me at first, but that's whenever Thomas Morris stepped out of his vehicle.
Woody Overton
And so let's talk about that for a second because you told me something last week I wasn't aware of because I didn't know his physical description. And you said when he got out of his vehicle, what did he look like?
Morgan Lamberth
So, like, from the Facebook post, you would think that he would be short and like, probably very overweight, but he's big. But he's tall. He's really tall. He was taller than my boyfriend. You know, my boyfriend's taller than me and I'm five eight. So you know he was very tall.
Woody Overton
Right. And let me say this to you, the y', all, I've seen the pictures. Thomas Morse. Course, I don't have any direct knowledge that Thomas Morse has officially done anything other than, you know, he's a suspect in this case because Madison is missing and the lies that he's told the police and everything else. But the when I saw the pictures of this guy, he has a face only a mama could love. You. You will not forget it. He doesn't look like your average Joe Blow. You add in the fact that he's a big dude and he's a big tall dude and there's absolutely no mistake in who he is.

I tell people to look at four things. Is it safe? Does it work? Is it affordable? And will you actually get clinical support when you use that filter? One brand keeps standing out. Bleeve. They use US pharmacies people see results close to the research about 18% weight loss. It's around $4 a day, and they include nurse support at no extra cost and full disclosure. I actually use them. I signed up during my lunch break and got approved before I even left work.

Morgan Lamberth
That's right. He was almost built like, I hate to say this, but it grew from the minions or from despicable me. That's kind of, you know, kind of how his build was, right?
Woody Overton
And. And so you. Your boyfriend gets there and. And what happens?
Morgan Lamberth
He steps out of the vehicle, and then I'm still. I roll the window up. I'm still on the phone with Brandy. They're outside talking. And I. Then I send him a picture to his phone, to my boy. I sent a picture to my boyfriend's phone of who it was. And then he. Yeah, he's still not looking at his phone. He's still not getting my messages. And that's whenever I'm like, his name's Shady. I'm like, shady, come see, please. And then he comes and gets in the car and, you know, he asked me what. And then I show him. I was like, that's. That's the guy that's responsible for these
Woody Overton
missing girls or allegedly responsible but that he's. He's at least the one that the girls, the missing girls, every one of them he picked up at a racetrack, gas station late at night and. And you know, offered them drugs to come and a place to stay. And by his own admission, this is what he told the Zachary Police Department. He said, yeah, I would get them drugs and they would take care of my kids and. And I gave them a place to stay. But back to Madison's case when she went missing. And there's a lot more I'm gonna tell y' all from Ms. Lynn's point of view about Madison's phone and everything being used afterwards and all that. But he told the cops when they originally just gave him. They called him on the phone and he was like, no, no, she left with some unknown. Unknown vehicle from my house and she took all her stuff and she left. And I hadn't seen her since. Right. He also was communicating with Ms. Lynn on the phone, but she didn't know that. That his name was Thomas Morrison and he was actually the guy that Madison was living with. He was like, no, no, I haven't seen her. And I checked with a drug dealer and all that. They haven't seen her and what have you. Well, later on, Ms. Lynn being the mama bear that she is, is in their face and Zachary press an issue and they get him in for an interview and. And he changed the story totally. He changed it. And in from. Oh yeah, she left an unknown vehicle and took all her stuff to he. You know, she left everything, including her cell phone and. And clothing and everything. A female is not going anywhere without. So we. We know he lied to them about that. That's a matter of public record. That's not speculation. So he's, you know, not one, but several are missing. And then there. There's were incidents in between that time of him getting arrested for choking another girl, almost choking her out. And then there's another girl that was he. The same thing picked up late at night, I guess you would say, entice him back to his house with same promises. And she. She was staying there. And the. It reached the point where she said, of course I wasn't there, but she had called 911 and they. They responded. But she said she had been. She told Ms. Lynn that he was choking her out and he thought. She thought he was going to kill her. And the cops showed up and she was like, I don't want to press any charges. I just want the hell out of here. Right. Which I understand that To a certain extent she's, you know, in the lifestyle and just want to get away. But the, you know, who's to say what would have happened had she not done that? And, but she never filed the charge. But he got arrested for choking another female, same situation, living in the house, you know, keep you high, what have you. And, and he actually got arrested for that. So before. And when he got released, he moved to St. Francisville. But back to your night. So your boyfriend gets in the car, you show him the picture. It's unmistakable. This dude, you just, I mean, he's sitting up feet away from you, right. And, and right. And you gotta have his picture. What'd your boyfriend say when, when you showed him the picture?
Morgan Lamberth
He said, excuse my, excuse my language. He said, holy. He. He said, that is him. And then Brandy's. Brandy's still on the phone. And then Brandy's chimes in and says, are you sure? And he was like, yeah, Brandy. I was just feet away from him, talking to him in person. That's the guy.
Woody Overton
Right, right.
Morgan Lamberth
You know, so then ever he proceeds to get back into his vehicle. And I just wanted to keep in mind he's dressed in all black from head to toe. All black.
Woody Overton
Did he have a hat on also?
Morgan Lamberth
Yeah, it was like one of those. It was. Wasn't a ball cap. It wasn't a flat bill. It was like a weird, like weird old timey hat. Like when you see in the movies or the cartoons, like where they have. The man usually has the cigar out of his mouth with that kind of hat.
Woody Overton
Like a fedora hat. That's what they call it. Yes. So he's dressed in all black and was the hat black too?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes.
Woody Overton
That's crazy.
Morgan Lamberth
In boots as well.
Woody Overton
Gloves and boots and a hat. Now lifers, if that doesn't tell you something, you know the Morgan, you know, all my fans are true crime fans. But the why is speculation as to why. But you can only imagine why he's wearing gloves and, and a hat and what have you. So he gets back in his car.
Morgan Lamberth
That's correct. And then he, he starts to leave. And then that's whenever my boyfriend proceeds to roll down the window and says. And at the time it was the post was three girls, you know, because I had showed him. He said you. He said, hey buddy, you were responsible for those three girls. This one wasn't about to be the fourth one. And then he sped off.
Woody Overton
Right. And. And so I asked you this last time when we talked about. And when I used to do photo Lineups or what we call them six packs. The you, you would have a suspect, you get like their driver's license photo or whatever and you send it to the Louisiana State Police and they run it through a computer system that generates five other people from the computer algorithm that look like this person have the same, it's computer done, same facial characteristics. I don't know how they find five guys that look like this guy. But the, but I've seen photo lineups come back that were so good computer generated that I almost couldn't tell who the suspect was. And I knew. Right. And, and so, but I asked you, I said if I gave you a photo lineup and you know you would be able to pick him out beyond a shadow of a doubt who he is?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes, 100%.
Woody Overton
And that my next question to you was, and what I would say to the people I'm showing the photo lineups to. Actually I would start out and I'd say, look, the suspect may be in this photo lineup, he may not be in it. I don't want you to make any guesses, I don't want you to make any assumptions. Just, you know, if you're 1000% sure that the person is in here, point them out. And the you naturally you say that you could do it. So you pick them out. Then I'd have you circle it, put your initials on it, and we would write on the back of it date and time that you identified number five or whatever number it is as the person that you saw in the parking lot that night. And I also asked you that, and I would say the same thing. When I show photo lineups with this, you have to be to the way beyond reasonable doubt. You have to be able to get on the stand and swear under oath that this person is the person you saw at that location, whatever the day time was, beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is that person. And are you that sure?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes, 100%. 1,000%. So should I say 1,000%? Yes.
Woody Overton
Right. So. And you would have no problem testifying to that in court?
Morgan Lamberth
That's correct. I would not have a problem doing so.
Woody Overton
All right, so how did you get hooked up with Zachary and what was your interview like?
Morgan Lamberth
I had had contacted, I went and researched and found Ms. Lynn and I went out of my way to tell her, you know, I figured that that might just be important for her because I didn't know if they were looking for him. I didn't, you know, I. The post didn't really say too much of on what she was, except for the three girls that were missing, you know, but Stace was in it. So I figured they might be looking for him. So I contacted her and then, you know, I told her the story of what happened. And then she asked me would I be willing to speak to the detective over at Zachary Police Department.
Woody Overton
Right.
Morgan Lamberth
And I told her I would be willing to do so. And so I talked to him. You know, I kind of. At first I kind of was, I guess you could say, trying to get familiar with him. Just I weren't wanted to see like who I was working with because I had previously mentioned to her that Zachary and that area is kind of close knit. So if she didn't really get too far or you know, that she might want to try like other agencies. And so we were just talking and then that's whenever I told him the story and he seemed like he was actually concerned.
Woody Overton
Okay, do you remember the Texas name?
Morgan Lamberth
Who. I believe his last name may start with an. Possibly an F. I do remember he told me that his mother, because I was from. I'm from Prairieville. His mother lived off Coon Trap. And he would have went to the same school that I went to, but we were the same age and stuff like that. Yes.
Woody Overton
Okay. So the.
Morgan Lamberth
He was a younger white guy.
Woody Overton
Okay. And y', all, I'm not throwing shade on Zachary PD at all. And I'm glad they followed up on that. But the, you know, when it comes back to it, Morgan, the, the. The women that are missing, the women that have been offended against according to their own statements and having to call 911 and the things that even happened that been told to Ms. Lynn since he moved to St. Francisville. Like one girl running through the woods, you know, telling her friend, call 91 1, someone's chasing me and all this stuff. But the, the. There's. Again, I don't have any direct knowledge, firsthand knowledge that Thomas Morris did anything to anyone, but I do have it's public record that he's lied and it's public record that these females were living in this house. And that's a fact. It's public record that he picked them all up in the same type of location. Now that was concerning for me. If he is a person who is offended in any type of way on these females, what have you, he. All the other ones he got the same way. It was late at night and Monday night you. Morgan, the. That sounded like you. Because here's the deal. If I'm doing it, if I let's let's take this dude out of the picture. If I'm out cruising for victims or people that I can groom, get into my house and groom and using it and it'll go wherever it'll go if I'm doing it. I'm usually have my own hunting grounds. And the other females were on Airline highway between the two racetracks. Which one? One is on one end of Airline in Baton Rouge and one's on the other the after that. This is just happened. Your incident happened back in December 2025, just a few months ago. And so that shows that he's totally outside of the area of where it was. What happened to change that? If it was me, if I. I would have changed my pattern of hunting grounds. You know why? Because I've been in, in the cop's office. I've been in. They, they called and then they brought me in and now they know I'm lying the about what happened to Madison. Right. And I've been arrested and now I'm not. Airline highway to where you were in Denham Springs at one o' clock in the morning. That's a long ways away as far as hunting grounds go. But the deal being is I see a female that one of the. If it was me and I see you in the parking lot that late at night you got a flat tire and there's no male around. That's the main thing. But I'm be smart about it. I'm going to take my time. I'm a look at you scope it out, see who else is in the parking lot. Make sure you don't there's no mail around the car or there's no mail with you. And you said it had been some period of time since your boyfriend walked off, right?
Morgan Lamberth
That's correct. The car wasn't there at first, so he probably pulled up and there was no mail around.
Woody Overton
Right. But then you start. They start watching and looking and driving around, maybe driving and checking, make sure nobody's in the back of store driving around to get a little braver and a little braver and finally pulling up to the point of your driver's door, driver door to driver door. He doesn't know that you didn't drive the vehicle there. As far as he knows. He all he can see is a female by herself at this time of the night. And it's now it's been some matter of minutes, maybe a half hour or something like that.
Morgan Lamberth
Close to about that. Maybe a little bit longer than that. But.
Woody Overton
Well, that's long enough for me to decide that, well, you know what, there's somebody coming to her and, and but to pull up and sit there and not say anything that, I mean, why would you do that?
Morgan Lamberth
You know that, that part really scared me. And then the way his door, his car was fairly close to my car. Like if I were to open my door, I would have hit his vehicle.
Woody Overton
That's how close it was of possibly blocking you from even entering that doorway, but possibly hoping that you go to the driver's side door to get in. Right.

Right.
Woody Overton
Well, I'm very thankful that you know, you called your friend and that your friend's boyfriend called your boyfriend and that your boyfriend showed back up and the. And I mean I'm thankful nothing happened to you because it certainly could have.
Morgan Lamberth
I agree 100%. And then later on I re after talked to Ms. Lynn and some other things. I also wanted to add that I put two and two together after it had happened that in the area where I was there's there was a racetrack directly across the street and it, it's kind of by where the hotels in Denmark and if you know it's kind
Woody Overton
of, it's kind of sketchy area. Yeah.
Morgan Lamberth
Yes.
Woody Overton
Yeah. And. And see what happens. But nobody deserves to be offended against. I don't care if you're in the lifestyle y' all the high risk lifestyle, you know, if you're addicted to drugs or whatever. But a lot of times the, the I didn't know there was I Forgot there was a racetrack right there. So that's the same kind of modus operandi. Right. The other ones say that they were picked up from the racetrack. Madison said she was picked up at the racetrack. But those, those were on Airline highway. And that's the same kind of mo. I mean, what are you doing out at 1:00 o' clock in the morning when you now live in St. Francisville, which is over an hour away and you're not working down there? The. What are you doing dressed in all black, riding around, cruising again and probably a racetrack. But those, A lot of those females that are in the lifestyle, they get the cheap hotel rooms and they'll. They use the narcotics and they, they. But they get hotel rooms that are either. I'm not throwing any shame. I'm just saying a fag where they can walk in, in do prostitution or they can, they can score the drugs and they also can walk to the store and get a coke or a pack of cigarettes, you know, because they don't have a vehicle. Right. And so it's like hunting grounds. Yeah. And that, that is. I, of course, I'm not saying this dude did anything, but I'm just saying we know from you, your statements and you told the police. So it's a matter of public record. And his past dealings with the police. Public record. And it's a pattern. But now you live in Westfalishana Parish and you're all the way in Livingston Parish at one o' clock in the morning hunting. I don't know if he's hunting. He may have been trying to find Jesus. But the only excuse I could have on it in an old cop's brain is you're cruising and you're looking and you know, for not saying he is, but for the kind of person who, who offends like this, the hunt is almost as important as, as getting the person. Yeah, that's what they get off on mentally. That's what drives them like, hey, I can't wait. In two weeks, turkey season opens and I'm so excited about it. I'm going out and I'm scouting now for where the turkeys. We're flying up into the trees at night and stuff like that. But I'm building up to the. The kill of the turkey and these people do it and I know the profiles on. And they do and they're cruising. And this would be a situational offender who, who I'm not saying Morse is. I'm saying the type person that would fit the personality if Madison turns up Murdered or we can find any of them, what have you. And it ties back to anybody that's person guaranteed you that's, that's a situational offender. Meaning they, they're hunting, they're looking, they're going over. In our mind, they're out there because they're driven by an evil force and the situation has to be right. Meaning you park in the parking lot, you see a female buy herself that hour of the night, you're looking around, making sure nobody's watching what have you. And then you pull up and you don't say anything that you, you are that pull up so close to. If you were the driver of the car, Morgan, you would have had to at some point the. Interact with him. And at some point, I mean, thank God you went around and got in the passenger side and called your people that at some point you did interact with him. And tell me what he said again. You said, hey.
Morgan Lamberth
He said no. When I asked him if he had a problem, he didn't even offer like, you seen the flat tire? You thought he would have tried to help or something off the help or something, or said something, you know, he said no. I'm just, I'm just chilling. I'm like, right? It was the craziest answer ever. I'm like, what the heck?
Woody Overton
Chilling. Chilling a foot away from your car door and sat there for how long do you think before you engage and you roll down the window? I mean, he pulls up, you're, you're still outside of the vehicle. You have to go back around and get in your vehicle. You have to call your friends and you try to call your boyfriend, what have you. And at some point you engage him. How, how long do you think that period of time was from when he
Morgan Lamberth
pulled up until all that? I want to say it wouldn't be no more than 15 minutes, but damn, 15 min.
Woody Overton
15 minutes. Is an attorney for the dude to be sitting there pretty much blocking in your driver's side door and he's just chilling, just chill.
Morgan Lamberth
And then I also was when that happened, I did kind of start panicking. So it could have felt like 15 minutes. Yeah, I'm pretty certain it was around
Woody Overton
about that time frame. The, the. That's okay. And I understand that, you know, it's like being in a fight, a fist fight, and you think it's going on for four hours and it's only going on for like six minutes. Right. But that's neither here nor there. The fact is you will be on a shadow of a doubt. Can Take the witness stand or whatever and say that Thomas Morris is the guy that was cruising in the parking lot that night. He's the guy pretty much blocked in your driver's side door, sat there, never said a word until you engaged him. And then he said, nope, I'm just chilling.
Morgan Lamberth
Yep.
Woody Overton
And then. And when your boyfriend approaches, he gets out, and like you said, he's a. He's a big dude. Can't miss him. You can't miss his face. I mean, the. The. The. It's just not. There's no way possible you can miss his face. And I'm guessing that's why you recognize them right away. But the.
Morgan Lamberth
The.
Woody Overton
And. And he's just chilling. Yeah,
Morgan Lamberth
it was more or less, I realized whenever I was able to look him in his eyes, and it just. It was scary. It hit me right then and there when I was able to see his eyes. I can't explain that.
Woody Overton
Well, the. The. I'm thankful that you and I are talking on the phone today, and it's not. Hashtag, what happened to Morgan. Right.
Morgan Lamberth
Right.
Woody Overton
So let that be a lesson. Tell you lifers out there. First of all, I always tell them Morgan and, you know, they asked about their safety and stuff. And look, look, criminals. Criminals want victims that don't pay attention. All right? And if you had never looked up, if you'd never seen them driving around the parking lot and all that, the. He probably would have approached you sooner. And then the. You get in the vehicle and. And you get your people on the phone and what have you. But if. If you. Look, if. If your boyfriend had been there, you never got approached, period.
Morgan Lamberth
I 100 believe so, too. Yes. I never even would have happened.
Woody Overton
Yeah. And. And so the. You know, it worked out just right, thankfully, that, you know, I don't know what his intentions were, but we can only assume. And. But it worked out. And you're alive. And y' all let it be a lesson to you. If you ever get a blowout or what have you, especially if you're in a abandoned area or a rough area or whatever, call 91 1. The cops don't care. That's what the. You know, I don't care how you feel about the cops. At least they can come help you, help you change your tire or what have you.
Morgan Lamberth
See, the crazy thing is, is I actually did see Denham Springs Police Department. They circled the same. They came through the parking lot, too. And I was just, like, kind of blatantly.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Morgan Lamberth
Like, looking at them, hoping that. That the cop would notice. And he just kept on going.
Woody Overton
Yeah, well, you know, the, that, that, that's kind of curious me too because I know all those guys and they, they, they don't have denim springs. City wise is not that big. I mean it's, it's got a lot of population but, and big stores and all that. But they, they are, they don't have a lot to do at one o' clock in the morning and then unless they're working at DWI or whatever, it's not like there's a lot of bar room fights going on or shootings and stabbings, what have you. And the. I would believe, you know, maybe they, maybe they got to, you know, we're getting ready to circle through and they got a call to go check on something else or whatever. Because I can't but imagine an officer not stopping to assist.
Morgan Lamberth
I thought the same thing. I thought the same thing.
Woody Overton
Well, we'll never know the truth behind that. But the. I can tell you what, when I was in uniform patrol and I trained, I was a field training officer and all that, the you're there to protect and serve. And it wouldn't matter if it was a guy that was broke down with a flat tire, I would have pulled over and seen if I could help him. So some way. And do you need a record? Do you need a ride somewhere, what have you. But obviously that didn't happen and obviously the something sketchy AF was going on. So. Hey, let me tell you this. I don't know, I don't know if we talked about this or not. So you, you said it was a gold what, Infinity or something like that?
Morgan Lamberth
Oh, it was very old. Very, very old.
Woody Overton
But the color was gold. Right? Right. So The Lynn told, Ms. Lynn told me that after she, she realized what the address or what after your incident, the, she went by his residence and there's another gold vehicle that looks almost exactly like the one that you saw that night, but it's a different brand, right?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes. So, so she, I had explained to her what kind of vehicle he was in at first. And she, somebody had either her or somebody she sent and went by there in that, in that same old model Infiniti was in the driveway. And I was like, yeah, that's the car. That's the car right there. Well, it was, I would say like a maybe month, almost two months later where she was like, you want to hear something funny? And she told me about him changing up the car to an older model gold Nissan. I don't know what kind of make,
Woody Overton
but she told me it looked almost identical to.
Morgan Lamberth
Yes, they do.
Woody Overton
To the other one, which is. Only adds more fuel for the speculation fire. I mean, I'm like, holy shit. Not saying that he is, but if I had used. If I was a bad guy and I had used a certain type of vehicle in a crime, and I know, you know, the heat's on me. People are watching me. Podcasts have been done about me. The, you know, shit's been on the news, social media and everything else. If I had committed any type of crime in. In the Gold Infinity, I'd be getting rid of that bitch. But to not raise suspicion, arouse suspicion, I, you know, would be a smart criminal and replace it with something identical, you know, so who knows? Not saying that he did, but if it was me and I'd ever transported a body or I ever attacked someone or there might be any kind of blood or DNA evidence in the vehicle, I'm getting rid of it. And especially as time's going on, nothing but more heat has been brought through social media and everything else. And then wonderful people like you, you that who are actually calling in and. And giving stuff, you know, and. And what you did, Morgan, is you just gave another piece of the puzzle and the, the, you know, these. With the tip line and everything that we're doing and me following up on these tips, etc, we're trying to put the puzzle together. And ultimately, I mean, I pray right now that Morgan walks through Lynn's door. Door. I mean, I'm sorry, Madison walks through Lynn's door. And it's like, mom, I'm home. Right. But I know my heart of hearts. That's not going to happen. And we're going to end up changing this from what happened to Madison to a hashtag justice for Madison. And that's unfortunate. I hate that. But I believe that's, you know, what's. What's going to come down. So anyway, they. And I'm glad you're safe and thank you for being a, you know, a good citizen and going in and talking to the cops and reaching out to Ms. Lynn. We need more people like that, y'. All. You got to share the story, share it over and over and over again because somebody else is going to recognize that maybe they saw him in a parking lot, maybe, maybe they had an interaction with them. I don't know. But every. Every tip that comes in on whoever the person is responsible for, for Madison being gone and these other females being offended against the. A tip's gonna break it. And y' all got to share the story. Sharing equals tips. And it's 313 RLRC tip. And I don't have to report to the cops if you want to remain anonymous. It's totally cool. Look at all my past cases where, you know people. I've never told their stuff and I don't have to. I don't have to follow the same rules as a cops anymore. I'm not a cop anymore. More so calling your tips. No tip is too big or too small or too unimportant. And you could just be. You call me and tell me, I think I saw this, and I'll ask you the same thing I asked Morgan. And you'll be like, no, I can't really say, okay, great, That's. That's fine too. But I still have that in my brain, right? As a possible piece of where the puzzle may fit together. So. Morgan, I really want to. I really want to tell you that I appreciate you And I know Ms. Lynn appreciates you.
Morgan Lamberth
Yeah, I know. It's not a problem at all. I couldn't help but after that incident, it was very gut wrenching and heartbreaking and. And to even think about, you know, be me if I was her, for the simple fact of I physically would not have been able to take him on. So I can't even imagine that her trying to fight off or any female of that sort trying to fight off a guy feel like him. And the fact that Ms. Lynn is still looking for her daughter too. And it's just. It's very sad.
Woody Overton
It is. It really is. And it's just, you know, bad happens and evil is real and exists. But it. Again, I'm thankful that your spidey senses went off and. And you got back in the car and. And didn't engage him. And I'm just thankful that you're here to tell your story. So not saying that this dude was going to do anything, but, you know, he could have, Right?
Morgan Lamberth
Right. That's correct. Initially, that's what I thought at first. But, you know, he could have just tried to talk to me or talk me into getting in the vehicle with him. You never know.
Woody Overton
It's just. That's right. So. But the. But you hear and I appreciate you and you know, stay safe and, and, and you have my number. Call me anytime. Okay?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes, sir.
Woody Overton
All right, sweetie. Thank you for being on the show. And I'm gonna hang up now so I can close out the episode, okay?
Morgan Lamberth
Yes, sir.
Woody Overton
All right.
Morgan Lamberth
Thank you.
Legal Rights Announcer
Thank you.
Morgan Lamberth
Bye bye.
Woody Overton
So there you. There you have it. Straight out of the mouth of Babes 1:00 clock in the morning. And again, I don't have any, any personal knowledge about Morris but she sent me the photographs of the guy that it was and that's Thomas Morris and it's off Facebook or what have you and he's, he's a very distinct looking guy. So do I believe she's telling the truth? Absolutely, absolutely, 1,000%. To the point where she went overboard. Not overboard, but went above and beyond and not only went and talked to the police, but she took an hour out of absolute way more than an hour out of life to talk to me and to Ms. Lynn. I mean I talked to her for over an hour last week and told her I want to record word of this week. And we just spent another 46 minutes on the phone. So y' all hashtag what happened to Madison. Hey, everybody deserves to live without being made to disappear at this point, I guess you would say or disappearing. And again, I hope she, I hope she walks through the door. Don't think it's going to happen. The with your tips that are coming in. It's. I hate it for Ms. Land, I do. I really, really hate. But you know what? Just gotta stop. You know, if I was under investigation by the police for missing women, I'm not out riding around dressed in all black with gloves on and at late at night again this and I learned that on today's phone call. Directly across the street from a racetrack. What do you do if you're sitting across the parking lot or cruising the parking lot across the street from a racetrack? If you cruise racetracks before. Well, you know what? You look across the street. Range Avenue is four lanes right there you can see who's coming and going from the hotels to the racetrack. A lot of speculation. No proof. And whoever is responsible for missing women but a hope we don't find the proof. And I'm Woody Overton, you host a Real life Real Crime the podcast until next time or ever. Don't let me catch you down on murder by you. Peace.
