Woody Overton
Time for Monday, April 13, 2026. And I'm Woody Overton. I bet y' all get tired of hearing me talk about hashtag what happened to Madison. But don't she was a living human being. She needs to be brought home. Continue to call in your tips. 313 rlrc tip. Still taking tips on Hashtag what happened to Bradley. Hashtag what Happened AO. Hashtag Ms. Barbara Blunt, right? The justice for Barbara Blonde. I mean, you know, or what happened to Ms. Bar. Hell, I can't even remember name. It's been so long now. But her murder verse was coming quick. So y' all just keep calling in your tip. Somebody knows something that we need to know to bring them home. Real people. What if it was your mama, sister, daughter, what have you? But on this day, April 13, back in 2023, Nick Furkus was sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole because he murdered his wife, Heidi. In 2010, Nick claimed a home invasion gone wrong had left Heidi dead a day before they were going to be evicted from their house. Well, police didn't really buy Nick's bullshit and they were suspicious, but they did not have enough evidence to pursue a conviction until years later. Never give up. Never surrender. Never. That's why you keep pushing, right? At some point, somebody came forward and gave the straw that broke the camel's back. In Heidi's case, years later, all our cases, we're going to do the same thing. Because I believe in the lifers best fans in the world. Put you up against anyone, anywhere, anytime, you're proven it time and time again. Look, these crimes don't happen in a fucking vacuum. They happen. Somebody saw something. Somebody knows something. I wish I could tell y' all what I knew on the things that I knew, but I can't because. Well, just because I can't mess it up. And I don't want to mess up the things that are being worked on. Right? So anyway, get off that horse, but don't ever give up. And let's get down to some true crime time for Monday, April 13th. And no, Cindy's not with me today, but she will be with me tomorrow. And hashtag what happened to Madison. You will have that episode a week from two days ago, right. Or you'll have it this coming Saturday. So it's time for Effed Up Professionals. On the last show I told y' all about rapper Lil Pooski or Poo Poo Head or whatever his name was. The we're gonna go on to the opposite of rap now. We're going to country music. And this guy is a Texas based singer songwriter Tanner Usre. And then he got arrested for driving while intoxicated DWI in Collin County, Texas. And guess what? And just get arrested for dwi. He's also facing two felony drug charges including one for fentanyl or fentanyl derived substances. So let me tell you why, Mr. Tanner. Y', all, I don't even listen to radio anymore. I just don't. I don't listen. I could drive. I just drove 8 hours to Dallas and then 8 hours back. Never turned on the radio. Just don't listen to it. So I don't know who this guy is. He made the news and maybe he's famous, I don't know. But the According to the Collin County Sheriff's Office USA was arrested on back on Monday, March 30th and the court record showed three different charges. One is your say's second DWI which is a class A misdemeanor in Texas that can result in jail time, fines or driver's license suspension between six months and two years. The other two charges he called both drug charges are felonies. And you're say was charged with drug possession of a substance in a penalty group 1/1b. This boy never missed a meal looking at him. The penalty group one includes cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, opium and oxycodone. Right? The 1B group specifically refers to fentanyl and fentanyl drives shit. And this according to the laws in the great state of Texas. The 1B group was added to Texas health and safety code back in 2021 specifically to address the national opioid crisis and fentanyl's role in rising opioid related deaths. Y' all know about this is everywhere. Now the new law allows for harsher penalties for those convicted of possessing the shit. So your safe's charge is for possession of between four and 200 grams of the substance, a second degree felony that is going to get him between two and 20 years in prison or a fine up to 10 grand. Now the singer was also given another charge for possession in a penalty group 2 which included drugs like MDMA or Ecstasy, Psychobillin, which is like mushrooms and amphetamines and THC concentrates, gummies and those are all second degree felony charges. And he got out on bail the same day from his of his arrest. And you know what I want to know who the fucker yer say is. Well they said he he's a Texas native who cites Whiskey Myers, I've heard of them. George Strait, who I love and Wade Bowen. I don't know him as major influencers. Tanner, you say has been steadily climbing in country music since signing his label deal in back in 2023. His songs have been featured on Yellowstone and Landman. Well there you go. Oh that's why I saw this dude was on I think he was on a recent episode of Spin off with the Marshals. He was playing. That's definitely him. He was playing in the borough marshals and he also has something on the soundtrack of Twisters. And in February, well another dude, I don't know why he did this from a Wyoming man got arrested for sending USA death threats over Facebook. So anyway, so USA was on his way to do a show in Rapid City, South Dakota and the man allegedly told yer say not to perform at the show, implying that he might suffer a fate similar to Charlie Kirk, who we all know was assassinated last September. But yer say to his credit actually went on and did the show anyway. Crazy shit. Well I'm sure Taylor Sheridan is not going to be having your say or however you say his name is on any more of his. He likes his gummies and fentanyl evidently. It's time for family matters. Talk about. We talk about these stories every day because I guess they're the most prominent ones that happen. And we're going to Coral Springs. And a judge denied bond last Thursday for Coral Springs man accused of killing his wife, who was the vice mayor and her name was Nancy Matteo Bowen. And this all according to law enforcement documents, y'. All. And they they described a shooting inside the couple's home and apparent efforts to conceal evidence. Stephan Bowen or Stephen Bowen, who is 40, is charged with premeditated murder and tampering with evidence. And he came before the Broward county bond court and the judge found probable cause and ordered him held without bond. Well, let me tell you why Right. Because it seems like a lot of these murders get such low buy. So. According to the Coral Springs police, the arrest warrant. Bowen is accused of cheating his wife inside their home on the night of Tuesday, March 31st. And detectives say the killing came to light after Mateo Bowen failed to show up for scheduled meetings on Wednesday, April 1, including a city commission meeting where she was expected in her role as vice mayor. So what happens to you about all the time? Her co workers are concerned, and they ask, you know, family members concern, and they keep trying to call her. And finally, they ask the police to do a welfare check, which they do. And when they arrived, they found no response at the residents and noted signs of possible damage to the home's exterior that appeared explosive, light, inconsistent with projectiles. And this is all an affidavit. So. Well, they're like, they might have bombs here, and we know shit's been blowing up. Who do the cops call when they get scared? SWAT team. SWAT team shows up, they surround it, they scope it out, they do what they do. And at some point, they decide to force entry into the home. And when they did, they found Matea Bowen's body in an upstairs bedroom. Well, once they go in, they clear the house. There's no devices, no more bodies, no bad guys hiding where they move out. And then the detectives are cleared again, go in. And then detectives go in, and they found that her body had been wrapped in blankets and placed inside garbage bags. Nothing says a little intent like that. They also recovered evidence of the scene indicating that she had been shot, including spent or fired shotgun shells found near her body. And a preliminary examination revealed a gunshot wound to her shoulder. Well, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be more than that. But the affidavit goes on, and it outlines statements from witnesses who told detectives that Stephen Bowen admitted to shooting his wife multiple times with a shotgun the night before. And then he went downstairs and went to sleep. Evil, y', all. All kinds he was. At least he went to sleep downstairs. He didn't get into bed with her. See, he shoots her to death. And he went downstairs and went to sleep. So the witness said Bowen later attempted to have him hold a bag containing the weapon. Like, hey, man, can you hold the shotgun for me? You know, I killed my wife last night, and I slept in the house. And, well, you know what? I'm not that good of a friend to anybody. You can go yourself. Investigators say the surveillance and license plate reader data helped track Bowen's movements after the killing, including locating this pickup truck In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, police said Stefan Bowen tried to dispose of evidence, including handing off a bag believed to contain the firearm, to that witness I told you about. And Stephen Bowen was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon. And of course, they haven't set a motive. Well, I can assure you it's a show in the marriage. Right? Yeah. You know, they go on to say how great material and you know, her family and her colleagues and everybody says she was a trailblazer and a dedicated public servant. She was the first black woman and first Haitian American elected to the Coral Springs City Commission and was known for her work on environmental justice issues and all kinds of other great shit this lady did. Right. So the. Murder is wrong. It doesn't matter who does it, but it's. It's really, really stupid when you just kill your spouse, get a divorce lawyer. It's time for effed up professionals. We're gonna take you out to Travis County, Texas, in a bunch of great law enforcement there. Got a lot of great friends. I spent, you know, my time in polygraph school there and then classes after that, teaching classes, etc. And it's huge, right? Large department. Well, in any large department, you have a certain amount of shitheads. And I'm about to tell you one about one. So. Travis County Sheriff's deputy has been arrested and charged with official oppression after law enforcement said he groped a woman during an hour long encounter at a Cedar park gas station. He groped a woman during an hour long encounter at a gas station. Not going to end well for you, homie. So Deputy Dennis Mallinger was charged Feb. 6 in connection with the incident, which occurred in December at a quick trip on West Woodstone Boulevard. According to the arrest warrant, the woman told Cedar park police she felt unable to leave because Ballinger was an officer and she feared the situation could escalate. And y', all, that's true. Can't use the uniform like that. Some people, you had to have badge bunnies who like really, really dig cops. You have some people that have badge monsters and they're scared to death of cops. So the woman told investigators she went to the gas station to show a vehicle she was selling to a potential buyer. And that's when this asshole in his marked sheriff's SUV approached her and identified himself as a deputy, and he began talking with her. Unfortunately, as we know, some cops use the badge to try to talk to women they wouldn't normally otherwise talk to. And the woman told investigators that the buyer left and Mallinger, the deputy, pulled his patrol vehicle directly in front of her car, which stopped her from leaving. And he continued talking to her and interacting with her. And according to the arrest warrant, the deputy asked her to take photos with him and made sexually explicit comments. Yay, mama. Take a photo with me or whatever else, he said. Investigators said he repeatedly initiated physical contact and at times touched her shoulders, her buttocks, and her chest. Not gonna end well for you, sir. I mean, this goes on, there are badge bunnies out there who would take that. And they'd be banging in the backseat of the suv. Doesn't make it right. This guy's pressing the envelope. Let's see how much further he presses. Well, at one point, investigators said, manager retrieved what the woman described as a rodeo rope from his patrol vehicle and began demonstrating how to use it and even encouraged her to participate. Like, come on, mom, I'll show you how to be a rope. Be a cowboy. Well, police said that at one point, Mallinger came up behind the woman, wrapped his arms around her, and placed his hands on her chest over her clothing. The woman told police she tried to break contact, but the deputy continued initiating the physical contact. Meaning he was squeezing the jugs. Right. And she's trying to break away. He's like, no, let me get another squeeze. Mr. Malinger was a deputy in uniform with a gun, so she complied with what he asked for. Well, surveillance footage showed the conversation lasting over an hour. You stupid. On top of everything else, that you used your badge to be a pervert. You know, you should have known, reasonably known, that you were on camera at a quick trip, which is a convenience store, y'. All. Actually a pretty good convenience store. The surveillance footage showed that that conversation lasted over an hour in. Elizabeth Resendez, who's a male just defense attorney, told the American Statement that the charge has no basis in reality. And she said that they believe the surveillance video is missing. Yeah, well, I bet you they fucking not. You hadn't got discovery yet. Well, you may ask what happened to Mallinger. He got placed on administrative assignment. Administrative assignment means he's riding a desk somewhere, y'. All. He has no public interaction, so he's probably not even riding a complaint desk. He's riding a desk back in the evidence closet or something. The sheriff's office said it will conduct an internal affairs investigation while Cedar park police continue to investigate the case. So I want to know about the oppression charge, right? I'm. I don't. I don't know what. In Louisiana, I think it's like, just, like, a forceful kidnapping or something. But Texas law defines Official oppression as when a public servant misuses their authority to intentionally subject someone to unlawful detention, arrest, search or other mistreatment. And that would be all the boob squeezes. And she had to endure. Or to deny or impede a person's right, privilege, power or immunity which he invited violated all that. Or to sexually harass another person. He did that too. And convicted. Not only will he lose his badge and gun, which he should, and this, it's a class A misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $4,000. I don't know why the fuck it shouldn't. He shouldn't have to register the sex offender if the sexual part is admitted. So anyway, that's, that's that. Up professional. All professions, we don't discriminate. If you're an idiot, you're a up professional. We're gonna tell on you. It's time for family matters. No, absolutely no rules on being a parent. I mean, we live in America. You're free to up as much as you want to. No restrictions, no rules on becoming a parent. And this next story will tell you about that. Should not be allowed to breed. This guy's name is John Hannon and he's a 43 year old father from New Mexico and he's been charged with intentional child abuse which caused the death of his 11 month old baby after the child's remains were found next to a state road.

Right? Like a piece of trash. Hannon had previously told the baby's mother that he had left him in the care of his own mother who lived in Colorado. Hannon left his home with his 4 year old and the baby, John Teague, or JJ, on February 7th to walk
Southwest Airlines Incident Narrator
to the Dollar General Store.
Woody Overton
And when he returned, JJ was no longer with him. Now the mom, Crystal Phillips Mama Bear, like Mama Bears do, is concerned and he's like, what? And she's concerned that the father had done something to the child. But Hannon claimed that he had left the 11 month old at home with his mom. Now obviously they proved this was not the case and the father refused to call his mother to confirm the story. Which, you know, if you call and the baby's there and hey, yeah, hey mom, JJ's there. Yep, here he is listening to JJ playing in the background, right? It would end the whole shit show. Well, the mom being Mama Bear and the next day she called the police
Southwest Airlines Incident Narrator
and she told them, she said, I've
Woody Overton
Got feared something bad has happened to my baby. The day her son went missing, police been contacted by an individual who caught a suspicious individual pushing a stroller in a remote area. So the officers investigated the area. They didn't find anything. Now, Hannon was identified as the man pushing the stroller. After the mom contacted authorities and were like, something's wrong with jj. Well, I'm gonna tell you what happened to baby jj. When police arrived, question Hannon. He refused to leave his home. And that. Yeah, never get that. We know you're in there and come out. We want to talk to you about JJ. We want to see if JJ's okay. It's like, nah, that not coming out. Well, what do they do? They force their way in. And at some point, he started talking because they said during questioning he gave conflicting accounts of where the baby was. So your story's not adding up. You're a shithead. And then they just asked him, said, did you hurt jj? And he responded that JJ was hurt bad. He was asked if he had hit the child, to which he responded, not technically. And then he claimed, but I know he's dead. Y' all is up. So. The remains of JJ were found on February 9, partially buried off the side of the New Mexico Highway 516. The child's skull was fractured and there was dirt found in the airways, which means he was still breathing, you know, when they buried him. The death was. That's horrible. Thank God he was only 11 months old. The death was ruled a homicide. And the worst part is. Exactly what I told you. The examiner believes that JJ was buried alive by his father. I would do not call him a father. He's a sperm donor. That's it. Hannah told police that he had made a mistake and that he did love his children at one point in time, but that things had changed. And Hannon had previously been charged with domestic abuse. In September of 2024, after punching Phillip's 15 year old son in the eye. Right. What? Punch my kid and I. He also pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and resistant arrest. In another incident, one of the Phillips kids also claimed that Hannon slammed his mom's head into the crib. Well, Sheriff Ferrari says there's no greater evil than individuals who hurt and kill their children. And they're doing everything in their power to bring justice to this precious child. Now, let me look in New Mexico. I'm pretty positive they have it. I know you're hearing me talk about this Shabbat. I. No, they don't have it. No death penalty. Well, jj, you won't get the ultimate justice, buddy. And I know you're in heaven. Craziness. It's time for Family Matters. Might as well just name this show Family Matters because these idiots keep killing their family members. And when I tell you about this one, we're going to Massachusetts. I never knocked. I never got to know my grandparents, right? My dad's dad died when, when he was in his late teens. My grandmother on my dad's side died before I was born by mom's mom I think was like seven when I died. So I remember, I can barely remember her. But I just didn't get to know my grandparents like I get to know my baby, my grandbaby, right? And, and, or my mom and dad got to know their grandkids. And it's so important when you grow up and you have Grandparents Day and your grandparents don't show up, it's up, right? It's up for you. It's great for everybody else grandparents to come and you know, you just miss out on all the traditions and the history and those are the things that I love anyway. Wait until I tell you about this idiot in Massachusetts. This dude is 29 years old and God bless him. Now my dad died last year almost a week to the day from now, so it'll be a year. And he was a, he was a grandfather. 20 something grandkids raised them all. 2 great grandbabies including mine and my nephew Holden's and you know, they got to know him as Paw Paul and thankfully honey still alive, my mama, right? And she's in her early 80s, well, almost 85. But this I'm going to tell you about a 29 year old Massachusetts man and his 90 year old grandmother. Now what may you ask, can a 29 year old man do to his 90 year old grandmother? Well, let me play it for you.
Hudson Police Department Reporter
The Hudson Police department received a 911 call from a female resident of Munson street reporting that her brother, who was later identified as Devin Duby, who's 29 years old, was attacking her with a skateboard. Moments after that call came in, the Hudson police received another call also from inside the Munson Road home, reporting the ongoing incident and indicating that another person in addition to the woman, recalled first another person who was identified as the defendant's grandmother, Elaine Dubie, age 90, had also been attacked. The information we had at that point was the defendant lived at that home with his father, his sister and his grandmother. The defendant allegedly attacked Elaine Duby in the basement apartment where she lived in that home, striking her several times with a skateboard. Following the fatal, what would be a fatal attack, the defendant also got into an altercation with his sister and his father, similarly striking them with the skateboard. When police arrived at that hole, the defendant had already fled. About 45 minutes later, Hudson Police received now a third 911 call which reported an individual running around a property which was located on Tower street, which is close to the home. Police responded to that location and found Mr. Doobie allegedly hiding in a van on the property. He was arrested on scene without further incident. Elaine Dubie was transported to UMass Medical center in Worcester where she later succumbed to her injuries. The other two residents of the home, the defendant's brother and sister, were in injured, but they were treated and released from the hospital. Mr. Doobie is expected to be arraigned today in Marlboro District Court, charged with murder, assault and battery with serious bodily injury on a person over 60 that relates to his grandmother, assault, battery with a dangerous weapon over 60 relating to the attack on his father and assault battery with a dangerous weapon relating to the assault on his sister. This is an ongoing investigation. We're obviously fairly early in the incident.

Skateboard. You beat your 90 year old grandmother to death with a skateboard? Massachusetts does not have the death penalty cases like this. Who the fuck is 29 years old and has a skateboard? That's, I mean I assume some people do, but I guess you couldn't drive your 90 year old grandmother's car. Maybe you can't even give it a fucking driver's license or something. You beat your 90 year old grandmother to death with a skateboard. And of course naturally they're, you know, saying, oh, the forensic psychologist who's examined and her name's Hillary Novak and said that she told the court she had previously evaluated Dubey back in 2023 and that's 29 year old had a history of schizophrenia and not taking his medicines. And suspect told her he was having auditory hallucinations on the day of the murder. Oh, the but she said, with everything I've seen, it leads to me to question his competency to stand trial. Well, you know what? Fuck you, doctor. But as soon as he exited the premises and hid in the van, he knew he was doing wrong. I don't care. Yeah, he may have been a little cray cray, no doubt about it, but not insane to the point where the definition of insanity is you are, you cannot be found guilty because in your brain you didn't know you were doing anything wrong at all. If he didn't know he was doing anything wrong, he wouldn't have ran like a little bitch. So I. I don't agree with that. You know, he beat the out of everybody with a skateboard, but they found him hiding in a van 45 minutes later. So you ran because you knew you were guilty. You knew you did wrong. I do not advocate for any leniency for him, ever. 90 years old. You live to be 90. That is impressive as fuck, right? And you live to be 90. You're living in an apartment in the basement of the family home. I'm sure they're helping take care of you because you know your body gets out and shit when you get old, but you live to be 90, and then you get murdered by your piece of grandson, who I'm sure she loved her to death. My mama loves her grandbabies. I love my grandbaby. Yeah, we love our grandbaby. The. I don't get it. One more, y'. All. You know, I've heard some strange. We've done some strange planes, trains and automobiles, and a lot of them are from airports. And this one, it's not really a crime, but it should be a crime. But it's. It's out there, all right? And there's a mom who went to the airport with their five year old, right? And her name is Tracy Redford. She's traveling with her daughter. And the S1A Southwest Airlines gate agent allegedly began acting inappropriate, mocking her daughter because of her unusual name. Now, names are one of the things, you know, when I don't get to fucking choose my name. I always tell people, I'm like, I'm so Woody over tonight. Woody. And I'm like, yeah, my parents didn't like me. They named me Woody, right? Or it's Woodrow Night. Woodrow. I'm like, yep. Then I tell. I named my kid the same thing. And I told him if he doesn't name his firstborn son Woodrow iv, he's cut out of the wheel, right? But you can't choose it. I mean, you can change it as an adult if you want to, but whatever your parents give you, usually it sticks. And you know, what other people think about, is what they think about it. But so you think mocking someone's name, especially a five year old, is. What's the point? I mean, are you going to make fun of them because of their name that their parents gave them? Well, that's what this mom said happened, and she is pissed, and she's speaking out about it. About it and claims that an airline employee mocked her young daughter's name before allegedly taking things even further by sharing it on social media. So let me tell you, the deets tracer refer who's from Texas, was traveling through California's John Wayne airport with her five year old daughter way back in 2018. They were born early due to the child having epilepsy and they were hoping to avoid the crowds. But according to Redford, the situation quickly turned took an uncomfortable turn. Now, her daughter's name. I can't even pronounce y' all is absolutely. And it's A, B, C, D, E, abcd abcd. Okay, I get it. So it's A, B, C, D, E. But it's pronounced ab city. And reference says the Southwest Airlines agent began reacting to it in a way that she found inappropriate. She said the gate agent started laughing and pointing at me and at my daughter and talking to other employees. So I turned around and said, hey, if I can hear you, hey, I can hear you. My daughter can hear you. So I appreciate if you'd stop. Her daughter turned to her mom, asking,

mom, why is she laughing at my name?

Well, Rutherford further claims the employee then took a photo of her daughter's passport and shared it on social media. And she only became aware of this because someone she knew on social media that told her they saw the post. Well, I mean, come on, man. That, that I guess would be against the law. And I don't know what law this. They got to be some kind of law. But the. I hope you sue the out out of Southwest because she's their representative, she's handling their shit, you know, checking people into flights, which you would think is a pretty important position. She must have been there for a minute. So Southwest Airlines, they issued a statement and they offered a sincere apology.

They said we extend our sincere apology to the family.

In what world is it okay for

you to make fun of a five year old's name, then take a picture of her photo and disseminate it online. Right. Anyway, Southwest continues to the post is

not indicative of the care, respect, civility we expect from all our employees. We have followed up with the employee involved. And while we do not disclose personnel actions publicly, we are using this as an opportunity to reinforce our policies and emphasize our expectations for all employees.

You know what I view out about A fucking. Yeah, this. This. Y' all is never gonna see the inside of the courtroom. It's like if I'm a truck driver for Walmart and I'm wearing my Walmart uniform and I whip out my tool and show it somebody and there's Walmart on my pants or whatever, or cause it. Let's just cause a wreck, whatever the it may be. And the Walmart's getting sued. That. That airline gate agent didn't have any fucking money, but you bet Southwest Airlines got sued. They're not telling you about that. Southwest Airlines got sued, but probably before the suit happened, they offered that bomb a big fat check. So I don't know her pretty crazy names before, but ABCD is pretty crazy. But I ain't taking a photo of it and sharing it online for everybody to see. But I will tell you all about a couple quick ones real in my law enforcement career. One of them was Pajamas that literally said their baby's name was Pajamas. And I was like, can you spell it for me? Because I didn't know what the it meant. And it was P, A, J, A M, A S. And I'm like, okay, Pajamas. And I didn't say that, but I was like, where'd you get that from? They said the Sears and Roebuck catalog. I was like, oh, okay. And what was the other one? Oh, Jesus. This one was told by my buddy that's a social worker. In the kids document was spelled A S S H O L, E, asshole. And he asked the mom about it. She said the baby's name. They call the baby ashole, and that's how they spelled it. I mean, not knocking them. That's kind of funny. But I'm not. I'm not even in the presence of a kid, so I love and appreciate each and every one of y'. All. Thank you for liking and listening, sharing, y'. All. Hashtag, what happened to Madison? Come on, man. 3 1, 3 rlrctip now, look, I know all the. The women who continue to work in the areas that Madison was working have been interviewed and. And the cops have done a lot of great on this cases, and they're continuing to do that different. Different agencies. And there's a reason we didn't do anything for the last two weeks, and I'll let you know on this week's episode, but prayers for everybody that's been a victim of a crime and especially for those who don't know where your loved ones are, the loved ones that are never coming home. And I've got nothing else for y' all today, but I love you and I'm Woody Overton. You host a true crime. Time for Monday, April 13th. I'll holla at you later. Love you. Peace. Foreign.

In this episode, Woody Overton dives into a range of recent and disturbing true crime stories, focusing on high-profile tragedies involving law enforcement misconduct, domestic violence, and shocking acts of familial brutality. Woody’s delivery is direct, unfiltered, and laced with both investigative experience and gallows humor. He maintains a conversational, often Southern tone, shifting seamlessly from outrage to empathy. The show is peppered with asides about life, family, and his own law enforcement days. In every segment, Woody emphasizes justice—both in the formal sense (court cases, punishment) and the informal (public accountability, the importance of community action).
If you missed this episode, this summary delivers both the facts and Woody’s distinctive perspective, covering each story with context, commentary, and a call to action for justice.
