Cindy Overton

Woody Overton
And.
Sophia Salinas
And I'm Sophia Salinas.
Unknown
Right.
Woody Overton
The resident shrink who's blessing us with her presence again today. And we're going to bring y' all some more true crime time from all over and all kinds of different stories. Hashtag just for Bradley. Hashtag just4AO, y' all, please continue to like and share. Hashtag just Ms. Barber Blunt. And call the tip line. 313 RLRC tip. And if I hadn't got back to you yet, I will. And not gonna tell y' all when I'm gonna be in burning Paris, but I'm gonna be there. And everyone that want wanted to meet with me face to face. Off the record, I get that. I'm gonna be doing that. I'll be looking into a whole shit ton of other things also. And all the great people in Burnham Parish, I love you to death. All the people who want justice love you to death. All the people who are shitheads. I'm coming for you. And I didn't make you a shithead. I didn't. I didn't want to come to Burn and Parish and have to work these cases. You did it. But I'm gonna try to cancel the rest of your Christmases.
Cindy Overton
Yes.
Woody Overton
So hopefully. But let's get out some true crime time for today. What do you. Well, yeah. All right. Just boom. The whole thing started. So let's get down to the true crime time for today. Let's Go to Montana again. I did Montana. Yes. I think it was Billings. Oh, no. Oh, you're right. You're right, you're right. So, yeah. All right. So let's go to Montana. Montana is the land of Yellowstone, right?
Cindy Overton
Yes.
Woody Overton
All right. So the cowboy up, you know, it's hard work and shit. And when they get done, at the end of the day, they like to relax, blow off a little steam, right?
Cindy Overton
Yes.
Woody Overton
Okay. That's. I was looking for an answer. The. Well, they have a place called the Al Bar, which is an Anaconda, which is a city of about 9,000 people in southwestern Montana. And police got called out for a shooting at the Anaconda. And I mean, at the end of kind of at the Al Bar. And guess what happened at the shooting?
Cindy Overton
Somebody died.
Woody Overton
Four people. Four people got murdered. So Michael Paul Brown opened fire around 10:30am in the morning. It must not have been cowboying up at the Al Bar in Anaconda. And Brown lived next door to the bar and was not a stranger to the area and the establishment. He could stumble high on Brown.
Unknown
He ran like a little bitch after.
Woody Overton
He shot the four people. And he is believed to be armed and dangerous. I don't think that's a far stretch. That's according to Lee Johnson with the Montana Department of Justice. Now, Police found the 2007 white Ford F150 pickup truck that Brown was seen driving on Friday. But Brown remains at large, and everybody's out looking for him. Numerous local and state and federal agencies are searching the area by sight, on ground and in the air. So residents of the area have been notified and are encouraged to stay inside their homes and on high alert. I'm pretty sure everybody in Montana has a gun. Yeah. Right. So authorities haven't said what led up to the sheeting at the bar or, you know, they haven't given a motive. The shooting sparked a large law enforcement presence, including the Bureau of Alcohol Hall, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives, or atf, which sent agents to the scene. In Montana's governor Greg Gia Forte said on social media on Friday that he was closely monitoring the situation involving the active shooter in the Anaconda. And he asked for prayers for the victims. I don't know. 10:30 in the morning, four people shot to death in a. Inside a bar.
Cindy Overton
Yeah, I don't know.
Woody Overton
All kinds of openings there. I'm just gonna leave it alone.
Cindy Overton
Okay.
Woody Overton
Prayers for the families and. And the victims and all that stuff. 10:30 in the morning. That's probably the earliest bar shooting I've Ever heard of Mike?
Unknown
All right, you want to do something now?
Woody Overton
This is a young lady who grew up with real life, real crime. All those stories has been to every one of the live shows and the crew bashes and.
Cindy Overton
Was my right hand for.
Woody Overton
Yes, worked for real life, real crime for a long period of time. And so bring us some crime knowledge.
Sophia Salinas
Okay, this is in Jacksonville, Florida.
Woody Overton
It was. Do you know what San. Jacksonville, Florida.
Sophia Salinas
The Jaguars.
Woody Overton
It's. I think it's the. The Florida State Seminoles. And. And it's the capital of Florida. Capital city maybe wrong. But yeah, it's Jacksonville. Hold on.
Sophia Salinas
It is because.
Woody Overton
What is the capital city of Florida?
Sophia Salinas
The answer I found is Tallahassee. Oh, Tallahassee.
Woody Overton
What university is in Jacksonville? Flor there's toots found is University of.
Sophia Salinas
North Florida, Jacksonville University, Florida State College.
Woody Overton
At Jacksonville, Florida State. I went down there to the. The Jacksonville University. Remember when I did that Ray case down there And I knew Florida State was there, so got that wrong about.
Unknown
Sorry Floridians about Tallahassee.
Sophia Salinas
What's their NFL team though?
Woody Overton
Oh yeah, the Jaguars. You're right. Totally missed out on that.
Unknown
I was thinking. I was thinking college.
Woody Overton
They always, they always suck.
Sophia Salinas
Okay, this is in Jacksonville, Florida when a mom and daughter are taking their routine trip to Subway.
Woody Overton
You know all about that.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
What's your favorite Subway?
Sophia Salinas
The boss. It's got meatballs and pepperoni and like fresh mozzarella or as fresh as it can be at Subway.
Woody Overton
The. I used to get it back way when they first started and they had a card and they punched it and you bought six, then they gave you one for free. You know what I used to eat back then? This probably freak you out? The salads. I always liked the Subway salads.
Sophia Salinas
Do they still have that?
Woody Overton
I don't know. Probably not. I've been inside. I've been inside Subway once in the last 15 years.
Sophia Salinas
So the victim was a 10 year old girl. She had just stepped into the subway with her mom when the manager, 33 year old James Anthony Morris Jr. Was busy mopping the floor. Okay, so she starts to walk over the freshly cleaned area and her mother calmly tells her to apologize.
Woody Overton
Right. Your mama would have done the same thing.
Sophia Salinas
Yes. So she tells her to apologize and then it escalates. Instead of accepting the apology, Morris, the manager alleges allegedly grabbed the girl's hand and pulled her through a door in the back of the store.
Woody Overton
Oh, I wish, I wish a bitch would have done that to you when your mom was in there.
Sophia Salinas
So the mom still thought it was a joke. Until Morris locked the door and pushed it closed while tightening his grip on the child's hand. So instantly fear replaced confusion. And the terrified girl later told police she believed she was being kidnapped. She was locked inside the closet with Morris for two minutes.
Woody Overton
So he went in the closet with her.
Sophia Salinas
With her long enough for panic to set in. Morris reportedly insulted the child's parents, calling them trash and terrible people. Another employee also witnessed and described Morris's behavior as weird and backed up the mother's accounts. The mother screamed and fought to open the door. Morris resisted pushing back. But she refused to give up. And after a struggle, she managed to open the door and pull her daughter to safety.
Woody Overton
What the fuck?
Sophia Salinas
Police were still called. Naturally, Morris did offer a statement and was taken into custody on July 21 and was charged with false imprisonment of a child under the age of 13.
Woody Overton
Do you think that Deed is just having a bad day?
Sophia Salinas
I don't think any bad day calls.
Woody Overton
For he's mopping the floor. A 10 year old walks in with her mom and mom says apologize. And he's like fuck that. I'm gonna lock her in the closet with me. They must not have a psychology test or a psychopath to give me a manager. In Subway.
Sophia Salinas
Morris was booked into jail and released on bond shortly after. Arrest reports estimate the bond was between 5,000 and $10,000, depending on the source.
Woody Overton
Morris would have never it to jail had done that to you in front of your mama. Because your mama would have mama buried him to death. That, that mop would have been. Well, it would have been, it would have been inside his anus sideways, shoved up in there. Yeah, Mama bear wouldn't play scary. And then you know what the up thing is? They didn't get their subway. So they, they, they had to do that. They went in there and they were hungry and then they got nothing but a hard time. I bet you Subways lawyers are writing some checks right now. That's crazy. Well, you know what? While the papers are shuffling and we're getting ready to go, you were in Jacksonville, right? Let's just go right back to Jacksonville. And I don't know if this dude's ever been to the subway in Jacksonville, but he may have. But his name is K Sioux K S O O O and another dude named ATK Scotty.
Cindy Overton
Okay.
Woody Overton
All right. They've been found guilty in the murder of Charles McCormick Jr. Who was a Jacksonville rapper known as Lil Buck. Now according to the First Coast News, Leroy Quotations, ATK Scotty Whitaker and Hakeem Ksu Robinson were Both charged with first degree murder on Thursday, July 31, more than five years after McCormick was killed in a drive by shooting. So prosecutors said a Whitaker and Robinson and their accomplice Dominique Buddha. Where'd they get these fucking nicknames from? The nickname in quotation is B U T T A Butter. Dominique Butter. Barner began driving around looking for McCormick on January 15th of 2020. They eventually tracked him down outside an Arlington shopping center. I don't know. I don't think the subway was there. Where Robinson opened fire. Whitaker had his own loaded firearm in the vehicle but did not shoot McCormick. Now, Barner testified in the case as part of his plea deal and admitted to being the defendant's getaway driver. 5 years these assholes got away with it. So the cops suspected the attack was gang related and and stem from McCormick's diss track aimed at Robinson's half brother Willie Addison, who was also killed in a 2019 drive by shooting. Gangs be running, they said. Five years ago, Keane Robinson and Leroy Whitaker stalked a man and gunned him down in broad daylight because of disputes and drill wrap. What is drill wrap? Right, well, so yeah, you are getting kind of old. You got a birthday coming up October 20th, so I got it right, huh? So the state attorney, Melissa Nelson said after the verdicts were handed down today, a jury held them accountable for their brazen crimes. This was an incredible effort by law enforcement and our team that takes two killers off her streets. Thank you to the jury for their time and dedication. Now both men were charged with first degree murder. Whitaker was also found guilty of burglary with assault or battery. And their sentencing hearings on September 8th. But we all know because I did a story on it a couple days ago. Florida's leading the nation and they broke their own state record this year for how many people they've executed. They've executed nine now, the most they've ever executed it any since the moratorium on death penalty in the 70s was lifted, the most they've executed in a year was eight. They're already up to nine and it's August. But being first degree murder, aggravating circumstance on this one would be they actually hunted the dude down. Premeditated as fuck, right? But they did the. They didn't go for the death penalty. They said given that it's not a death penalty case, the penalty is essentially mandatory life in prison. So are they going down to the college for criminals? K, sue, atk, Scotty. That's the street names they're gonna be tossing salads and washing dirty drawers.
Cindy Overton
Do you get different names in prison? Like, do they get names? I don't think Shorty, squatty.
Unknown
You know, a lot of them.
Woody Overton
Well, in our prison system, like, if they're from New Orleans, you always say, what war? Yeah, they'd be like, 9th Ward or, you know, whatever, 7th War, 3rd Ward. And so they this episode is brought.

Did you know your calendar age doesn't always match how old your body really is? I didn't until I took the true age test from True Diagnostic and it opened my eyes. Biological age is one of the most accurate indicators of how fast you're aging. On the inside, and that directly predicts your risk for serious health problems. Turns out if your biological age is just five years older than your actual age, your risk for things like heart disease or cancer can go up by 30 to 50%. That's a real number, and it made me pay attention. I learned that my heart, lungs and hormones are aging faster than they should be, even though I don't feel it every day. My biological heart age came back at 65.1, which is higher than I'd like. My brain and immune system were also aging faster than my calendar age. That was a surprise, but not all bad news. My liver and musculoskeletal system are actually aging slower, and that gives me some hope. They also showed me something called my dune end pace score, how fast my whole body is aging year by year. Mine came back at 1.1, which means for every year that passes, I'm age of 1.1 years. Biologically, that pace has been tied to a 56% higher risk of death and chronic disease, which was a wake up call. Since getting my results, I've started tightening up my diet and I'm making sure I take my thyroid medicine every day. And I plan to get back into lifting weights because this isn't just about aging, it's about quality of life. Trudiagnostic gave me clear strategies to slow that pace down. Based on cutting edge research from Yale, Duke and Harvard. The test was easy. I did it right from home. Just a quick finger prick. Mail it back and a couple weeks later, I got a full breakdown of how each of my 11 organ systems is aging. It's not just a number, it's a full map of where you're headed and how to change it. If you care about protecting your health and want to find out what your real age is, head over to truediagnostic.com and use my code RLRC to get 20% off your entire order or subscription. That's truediagnostic.comand use code RLRC at checkout to get 20% off your future self will.

Woody Overton
A lot of times it's by geographical location and then you might just have, you know, dude with a booger hanging out his nose and they call him Booger.
Cindy Overton
Is there fights amongst like obviously there's gangs, but is there like wards that are better than other wards and rivalry?
Woody Overton
They try to keep them separated for that exact reason. Back in my day it was like the Bloods and the Crips.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And, and you search their bodies, they always get tats that are gang Related and you wanted to keep them separated because they were going to kill each other. That's their only goal in life is to kill these other people for whatever reasons. And then over the years those got changed and. And then the Hispanic Games came in. Ms. 13 and whoever the. Their names are now of course she always. And brotherhood and so pe. And now the Orient is oriental. The right term. Asian. Asian gangs. And so they try to break them up but they, they're like little armies and they get in on a yard in the right times and they have mandatory workouts and, and they got their own rules. Set of rules. And, and if you don't follow them. Just like the military. Yeah. I mean they, they should have just stay away from the life of crime and, and serve their country.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Or whatever country that may be. But they, they would. They. You know that's how they're structured. That's how all the drugs get run and, and everything else. And you can't. It's kind of like the mafia. You can't do a hit on another gang, you know, without being sanctioned and all kinds of like that very strict rules. And they have their own languages and encryptions. They have. You know some of these people are geniuses. You, you'll find notes in their cells but it's all in an encrypted language and unless you get a cipher, you're a code breaker. You can't get it. And they order that they, these are big time. They call them shot collars. And they can order. Not only did they get the dope in like a two dollar joint on the street was sell for two hundred dollars in the prison. And so it's a big business. And the shot collars inside the prisons, can they. They actually, you know, they have to facilitate through their people all the dope coming in, paying off the guards and what have you, but they also put hits on people on the street. They, it's case after case of it. They know, okay, this asshole, they found out. However, this asshole actually ordered the hit and had people kill.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Whole different world.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Didn't even smell the same. Air doesn't taste the same. Yeah, definitely doesn't smell the same.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So anyway, enough about that.
Cindy Overton
Okay. We're going. I'm going back to Florida. Fort Meade, Florida.
Woody Overton
In Florida today, which is every story today is going to be in Florida.
Cindy Overton
Well, there was a conflict with a couple and it led into a life threatening chain of events. And if there's one thing that I know, I do not think that we would ever have this conflict, which is. Okay. So at approximately 5:18pm deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office responded to a home where an intense argument had erupted. And the argument was over bed sheets and blankets. I mean, I'm not laughing at the argument. I'm laughing that definitely.
Woody Overton
I love it when I get into a bed with bed sheets and blankets because it was just me. I just sleep on the mattress with a blanket.
Cindy Overton
So the Victim lived with 26 year old Anaya Durandez Williams. And when Williams became extremely upset about the type of linens the woman had arranged in her room.
Woody Overton
I get upset about throw pillows.
Cindy Overton
Yes, we would have, but all the throw pillows are upstairs out of your.
Woody Overton
Not linens.
Cindy Overton
So things spiraled really quickly because.
Woody Overton
Oh, God, all the throw pillows are upstairs because I don't go up there.
Cindy Overton
Exactly.
Woody Overton
The whole upstairs of the house must be stuffed. How do you walk up there?
Cindy Overton
Williams grabbed the victim by her hair, repeatedly struck her head, and then picked up a olive oil bottle and smashed it against her skull until it shattered.
Woody Overton
Nice.
Cindy Overton
The victim absorbed blows across her head, was kicked and bitten. Bitten in the leg and struggled to fight back. But she did find a way to bite Williams finger in an attempt to escape the escalating violence. The victim called 911 somehow. And Williams grabbed a large kitchen knife, lunging at her and grabbing her in the back or side. Security footage captured the moment with the knife had made contact while the victim was still on the phone. And deputies later found Williams in the bathroom holding that knife. She allegedly confessed. Officer confessed to officers that she'd attacked the woman, saying she was in the heat of the moment and the victim was overly. And said that the victim was overly emotional. When police arrived, they discovered the victim with visible injuries. A swollen left eye, a small laceration and other bruises. And she told investigators she felt terrified and that the attack happened against her will. Aniyah Williams was arrested and charged with attempted second degree murder along with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. And her legal process is underway with pretrial detention hearings set for August 4, which was on Monday, and then an arraignment in early September. So, I mean, I can't imagine fighting with anybody over bed linens, but.
Woody Overton
Well, I'm sure they're. The psychologists in the room could tell you they probably have some underlying problems that led up to betting issues, right, Sophia? But do you beat your fiance over betting issues? Y'. All. Y' all probably hug it out, huh? You do you, like, psychoanalyze him all the time, right? Poor guy. He's a great guy there, by the way. All right, so let's come back to Florida. Because I said we're going to stay in Florida. We're going to stay in Florida. And this might be one of the craziest things. It's kind of this. But it's not beast mode. Everybody knows about Smokey the Bear, right?
Cindy Overton
Yes.
Woody Overton
What does he say? What's this saying? Something about forest fires. Don't. Only you could prevent forest fires.
Cindy Overton
I think so.
Woody Overton
Right.
Cindy Overton
I just remember the owl. Give a hoot, don't pollute, never be a dirty bird.
Woody Overton
Yep, yep. But that's not Smoking the bear. Smokey the Bear is dressed with the park ranger hat on and the blue pants, and he's driving grizzly bear. And he says, well, you could prevent forest fires, right? Anyway, they. If anywhere you go, the national forest, they have his signs and shit. And there's a lot of national forests in or parks in Florida, in the Everglades and forests and all that. So. Well, this was one dude who really loves Smokey the Bear, okay. In Florida. And he went around the state of Florida stealing Smokey the Bear signs. Oh, that's true. So here's the backstory. Smokey is always around our force and just got lucky today that he saw the bad guy and got him handcuffed, said Agricultural Commissioner Wilton Simpson. What an idiot. What an idiot. Now, law enforcement officers with the Department of Agriculture say the suspect was posting the signs for sale on Facebook Marketplace. For nineteen hundred dollars a piece, I'm.
Unknown
Gonna go Smokey the Bear signs with us.
Woody Overton
That's federal. Federal property. Anyway, so, you know, Spooky is a good character. It's like, what's her dog? Or the dare program in Louisiana. I guess it's nationwide. But Smokey goes to schools and gives speeches dressed up in his bear. You know, he's hot as that costume. But he goes to schools and he's known by the children, and he's known by the families, and he's known throughout the United States, this guy Simpson says, who goes and steals an image of Smokey the Bear and then tries to profit off of that. Well, let's go a little deeper. The thefts shed a spotlight on the state's effort to prevent forest fires, which destroyed 24,000 acres in 2024. Wow, that's a lot.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So the department did 277,000 acres of control burns in 2024 and spent $93 million on upgraded equipment. And, yes, they dispatched Smokey to remind us that only you can prevent forest Fires. It's also why they have their own law enforcement department and they caught this thief in the act. He said, if you're going to go in and commit crimes in our forest.
Unknown
You probably need to find a different place.
Woody Overton
Not only will you find smoke in some of these forests, but you'll find our officers. Now this time, Smokey got his revenge. This is where it gets good. He's not throwing this criminal haphazardly into the woods. They said we're the most pro law enforcement state in the union. Smokey the Bear is on the job also. So what's next? The man whose name is not released was taken to jail and criminal charges are pending. And you know what? Fuck him. He's gonna get some time. You can't. With Smokey the Bear. But the. What happened was the. They get. I got. I got. Hopefully this will play. Look at Smokey the Bear flipping.
Cindy Overton
Oh, my gosh.
Woody Overton
Flipping the bird. Let him play it. See if it'll play.
F
6. Only you can prevent forest fires and apparently theft. Smokey the Bear actually helped make it. Arrested Orange county after he saw a suspect feeling signs of. Wait for it himself.
Woody Overton
Yeah. Yeah.
F
Department of Agriculture officials say somebody was actually driving around Florida stealing Smokey the Bear signs from our state parks. So now that person will pay the price. Evan Axelbake reports. Smokey the Bear has always had a nose for trouble. In this case, he also had a thumbs up.
G
Smokey is always, oh, I thought he.
Woody Overton
Was giving the bird and just got.
G
Lucky today that he saw the bad guy and got him in. Cuff.
F
From Pensacola to Panama city to Orlando. 450 miles. The commissioner of Agriculture says this suspect was going to state parks. Finding Smokey the Bear signs like this one and stealing them.
G
What an idiot. What an idiot.
F
But it wasn't just for fun. Law enforcement officers with the Department of Agriculture say the suspect was posting the signs for sale on Facebook Marketplace for nineteen hundred dollars a piece.
G
He goes to schools. He's known by our children, he's known by our families. He's known throughout the United States. Who goes and steals an image of Smokey Bear and then tries to profit off of that.
F
The theft shed a spotlight on the state's effort to prevent forest fires, which destroyed 24,000 acres in 2024. They've done 277,000 acres of controlled burns this year, spent 93 million on upgraded equipment. And yes, they dispatched Smokey to remind us that only you can prevent forest fires. It's also why the Department of Agriculture has their own picture they caught this.
Unknown
Smokey putting the guy in the car.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
G
You're going to go and commit crimes in our forest, you probably need to find a different place. Not only will you find Smokey in some of those forests, but you'll find our Carl.
F
Officers, this time Smokey got his revenge. He's not throwing this criminal haphazardly into the woods. He's bringing him to jail.
G
We're the most pro law enforcement State of the union and Smokey bears on the job.
F
Also, criminal charges are ahead for this sticky fingered Smokey stealer.
Woody Overton
You know I'm a pretty good marketing genius but they obviously located this and got a warrant for him. And they literally sent Smokey the bear in the costume to arrest him. Well, that, that is, that is well done. Hold on.
Cindy Overton
Florida's got some characters.
Woody Overton
Way to go, Smokey. So that being said, it is time to shut it down or you want me to do one more?
Cindy Overton
Whatever you want.

All right, I'll. Going back to Florida. The Florida Attorney General James Uttermyer announced Wednesday the arrest of 48 individuals in the filing of 153 charges during a six day undercover operation which. What was the operation for? Sex human trafficking targeting online child predators only in central Florida, not the whole state. The operation which was led by the Marion County Sheriff's Office and supported by the Office of Statewide Prosecution involved nine law enforcement agencies at the local, state and federal levels. Now according to Udemyer, it was marks the highest number of arrests in the history of this program that they do it every year. Right. So among Those arrested were six foreign nationals who were flagged with detainers by the U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement. Everybody knows it as ICE. And law enforcement said they traveled to Florida from Jamaica, El Salvador, Dubai and India with the intent to exploit children. These are annoying. Knowing these are known, that's the. They known internationally for making child porn. Yeah, right. Them. So they said they came after children but Florida and federal law enforcement were waiting for them. Thanks to the Marion County Sheriff's Office for putting this operation together. So these men were stopped before they could harm a single child. Now, Marion County Sheriff Billy woods urged parents to remain vigilant parents. We will never arrest every single one of them. You have to know what your child is doing online and children have to know what dangers are lurking online. So yeah, that's. We always talk about this in different platforms, but here we go. Officials said the suspects used various platforms including Snapchat to try to contact minors who were actually undercover officers. The Attorney General's Office is suing Snapchat, saying that the company violated Florida law by misleading parents about the platform's risk. They said this is one of the best operations I've seen, said state attorney for the Fifth Judicial Circuit, Bill Gladson. Sheriff woods and his deputies did an outstanding job catching and removing 40 predators from the Central Florida community. And just imagine that that's right around Orlando. 40. Raping babies.

Your parent brought you one of those.

Running like a little bitch to elude a law enforcement officer. One of those resists of arrest without violence. Two of those that you know, but that is, you're under arrest. Turn around, put your hands behind your back. Bucky. I'm not doing that. But they don't. Passive aggressive. That's when you spray them. So drug charges for those. Possession, drug paraphernalia. 1. Reckless driving. Then that's interesting. 1. And of course, one of these was on probation.
Cindy Overton
Nice.
