Woody Overton
Shirley Van, Nancy Fox and another victim whose identity remains unknown and never everybody knows about this. The park cop or whatever he was. And he was taunting law enforcement for all the years. But a little short one for you because on February 10th they got another one of the letters which ultimately would lead to his. His downfall and capture. What's his name?

Co-host/Reporter
Anyway, all right, let's get into.
Woody Overton
Oh God, the I'm glad s not here for this one. Here we go.
Co-host/Reporter
It's time for family matters going to Flagler County, Florida. And there was a woman there who.
Woody Overton
Was married and all that.
Co-host/Reporter
Good, right? Well, she was married and she promised to leave her husband.
Woody Overton
For a child she manipulated and raped.
Co-host/Reporter
Now, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, 27 year old Angel Sexton of Palm Coast, Florida was taken into custody.
Woody Overton
After she manipulated and raped a young boy.
Co-host/Reporter
And then they began their investigations this situation and law enforcement received a report of a delayed sex offense on January 14th of 2025 when the Sheri with the sheriff's office major case unit conducting.
Woody Overton
Interviews and analyzing text message between the victim and Sexton. Now y', all, you're not making it up. I mean, she's a baby raper and her name's Sexton.
Co-host/Reporter
But during the investigation, authorities determined that Sexton had kissed the boy an attempted oral sex and sexual intercourse during a visit in December. When the victim left in January, Sexton expressed a desire to leave her husband.
Woody Overton
To be with him in a text message exchange.
Co-host/Reporter
Well, when speaking with investigators, the suspect.
Woody Overton
Initially denied that any sexual activity occurred.
Co-host/Reporter
But later on she admitted to raping.
Woody Overton
The boy and participating in the text message exchanges with him.
Co-host/Reporter
Well, you know why they, you know.
Woody Overton
Brought her in buyer rights and say, hey, this is, you know, what said been happen. Oh, no, no, no, this didn't happen.
Co-host/Reporter
Are you sure this didn't happen?
Woody Overton
No, it didn't. And then you hit him with a text message.
Co-host/Reporter
Well, this is your phone number, isn't it?
Sponsor Narrator
Right.
Co-host/Reporter
Well, Sexton was arrested in St. Augustine, Florida after law enforcement attained an arrest.
Woody Overton
Warrant on January 27th. And she's charged with lewd and lascivious behavior.
Co-host/Reporter
She was taken to the Sheriff Perry hall inmate Detention center.
Woody Overton
She's held on the $25,000 bond. Come on, man.
Co-host/Reporter
You rape oral, orally and v. I.
Woody Overton
Guess, I guess it's vaginal. You, you're orally raped and then rape the boy the other way and you get a $25,000 bond.
Co-host/Reporter
But they said it's sickening to see a person take advantage of a child half her age and engage in a.
Woody Overton
Highly inappropriate illegal relationship. And this according to Sheriff Rick Staley.
Co-host/Reporter
They said, he said these cases are never easy.
Woody Overton
And I commend our Major Case unit for their hard work to quickly make an arrest before she could continue her illegal behavior. Well.
Co-host/Reporter
The Sexton is now facing prison time after pleading guilty to the looting.
Woody Overton
Lascivious battery on December 17th.
Co-host/Reporter
And sentencing hearing has been scheduled for January 20th. And they said this woman took the.
Woody Overton
Innocence away for a child for her own gratification. And I am glad that justice was served and she is headed to prison. According to the sheriff.
Co-host/Reporter
I commend the victim who put an.
Woody Overton
End to her advances and spoke up and thank our Major Case Unit and our partners at the state attorney's office for the work on this case to put another perverted person behind bars. Kudos to them for getting it done and, and prayers for, for that baby. I don't care how old they are.
Co-host/Reporter
You ever notice how when it's like a 16 year old boy gets raped.
Woody Overton
By a female teacher and they don't really make that big of a deal about it, you know, this was least was a 13 year old boy and she be going to prison and exactly where she belongs.
Co-host/Reporter
All right, I'm scrolling blindly. I want to just touch the next.
Woody Overton
Story that I see and we'll see what it is.
Co-host/Reporter
Ready?
Woody Overton
Oh Lord. Liam Ray be laying down the stuff. Let's see.
Co-host/Reporter
All right. I don't really know what to classify this under.
Woody Overton
Then it happened.
Co-host/Reporter
It's time for worldwide crime. Have been overseas across the pond if you will. And I don't know, I think some.
Woody Overton
Of y' all know this, but I'm like the hugest.
Co-host/Reporter
History buff when it.
Woody Overton
Comes to wars that ever was.
Co-host/Reporter
I have a rifle from each different.
Woody Overton
Army from World War II.
Co-host/Reporter
I have some from World War I.
Woody Overton
I know about every major battle. You know, one World War II. It's just, it's a fascination of mine always has been since I was a little boy playing with plastic army men. Right.
Co-host/Reporter
World War I was a real humdinger.
Woody Overton
It was the last. They call it the Great War, but it was the last time you would.
Co-host/Reporter
Sit in trenches for years at a time and.
Woody Overton
Live in the most deplorable.
Co-host/Reporter
Positions, get bombed on and, and then.
Woody Overton
You ultimately go over the wall, if you will, make a charge to the other trench and get gunned down and.
Co-host/Reporter
Shot down or maybe you might take.
Woody Overton
That trench and, and they get out and they, they fall back to another trench and the next day they come and fight and take your trench back.
Co-host/Reporter
Basically.
Woody Overton
It was a big stalemate.
Co-host/Reporter
Right. But they lived it. And ultimately that's where the Treaty of Versailles was.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Omaha Steaks Advertiser
Signed.
Woody Overton
The Germans gave in and they lost.
Co-host/Reporter
Even though they never, they never.
Woody Overton
Fought in, in Germany. Right. They were fighting in France and they had to give up all this land and like that. That ultimately would lead to World War II later on.
Co-host/Reporter
So. But there's lots of bombs and out there still.
Sponsor Narrator
I watch the shows about them.
Woody Overton
Like they find these military antiques and they go find where some of these battles were and these underground bunkers and stuff like that.
Co-host/Reporter
Well, there's a lot of left over when you're out there and pour millions and millions and millions of bombs and.
Woody Overton
Rounds and stuff like that. Ultimately they don't go away.
Co-host/Reporter
And doctors in France had an unusual shift this weekend after a man came to the hospital and he's about a history, like me, right?
Woody Overton
Except for I'm not like this. Yeah. The.
Co-host/Reporter
He went to the hospital because he had a historic artifact shoved up his anus.
Woody Overton
That's their words, not mine.
Co-host/Reporter
The 24 year old man came to the hospital in Toulouse complaining about pain.
Woody Overton
But he didn't tell him what he was in pain for.
Co-host/Reporter
And so they go in, they're checking them out and they bring him in the surgery. And after entering surgery, it was discovered that he has shoved a 16 x 4 cm World War I shell from 1918, y'.
Woody Overton
All. He shoved it up his butt. In his butt or up his butt? The.
Co-host/Reporter
So you had to be in the surgeon opening it up and there is.
Woody Overton
A, there is a bomb in the butt.
Co-host/Reporter
And now a lot of these bombs. Look, just because they, they're now 100 and some years old, that doesn't mean they're not live.
Sponsor Narrator
Right.
Woody Overton
And.
Co-host/Reporter
And so they cut them open and they see a bomb and they're sugar, turn the. Because now we're like, holy bombing the ass. And what do they do? They call the Bomb squat and they.
Woody Overton
Evacuate everybody and all the law enforcement and firefighters and everybody responded to the hospital.
Co-host/Reporter
Now the firefighters confirmed to Le Parisie on the paper that they diffused the bombshell and there was no further risk of danger. Now I wonder who got stuck behind the anesthesiologist, whatever monitoring this guy, this asshole, literally this with a bomb in it. And I mean somebody had to keep him alive, right?
Woody Overton
Interesting. Inquire minds wondering that.
Co-host/Reporter
They said the man however, is still recovering from the surgery and guess what?
Woody Overton
He could face charges for violating Francis weapons legislation.
Co-host/Reporter
It said he's not the only person who risked his life shoving rather shall.
Woody Overton
We say unorth unorthodox items in his behind.
Co-host/Reporter
See how basically I'm looking at a picture of it.
Woody Overton
I don't have.
Co-host/Reporter
I never really got the whole center meter millimeter thing.
Woody Overton
It's basically, it's like a mortar around a shell and unexplored mortar shell and.
Co-host/Reporter
He had it up his ass. But another, a 45 year old man risked losing his life after enduring 10 days with a metal cup stuffed up.
Woody Overton
His rectum before he finally was like this hurts so much. I gotta go tell the doctor. Right.
Co-host/Reporter
It said it was believed to have been inserted into his anus by friends as a drunken prank during a raucous party in Syracuse.
Woody Overton
Right. Which is a dry state of India.
Co-host/Reporter
Let me tell you something.
Woody Overton
Done a lot of party in my life and I'm 56 now and I'm pretty sure I'm going to continue to do a lot of partying. I've never been so drunk. I'll let somebody shove something up my ass, period. Exit only.
Co-host/Reporter
But they said this cup is up. This guy's ass was around 3 to 4 inches in diameter and it was 6 inches long. And the, the, the day after he wakes up and realizes I got a 6 inch long, 4 inch wide cup.
Woody Overton
Up my ass, he couldn't get it out, y'.
Sponsor Narrator
All.
Co-host/Reporter
It said when he tried to get.
Woody Overton
It out, it lodged the item further up his rectum.
Co-host/Reporter
And he spent days suffering in silence.
Woody Overton
As he was too embarrassed to tell anyone. Well, I can imagine that.
Co-host/Reporter
And then this other guy, who they call him a kilt wearing pervert, he shoved antique items into his ass last.
Woody Overton
Year including a anus, a makeup brush.
Co-host/Reporter
An antique bottle opener and a tobacco tint can.
Woody Overton
Right.
Co-host/Reporter
His name was Mitchell C. Vest. He was 60 years old, dressed in a kilt and he was Colton putting.
Woody Overton
The items up his butt before placing them back on the shelves at an antique gallery in Houston, Texas. Come on, man. Leah Marie, I think you sent me that story last year.
Co-host/Reporter
How up do you have to be in the head to look? You're not shoplifting. I'm aware of my kilt in which.
Woody Overton
Is going to draw attention to you anyway unless you're in Scotland.
Co-host/Reporter
But I'm a shove stuff up my.
Woody Overton
Ass, put a little stank on it and put it back on the shelf so you have to touch it. That dude deserves to go to prison.
Co-host/Reporter
So a little bit different there and you never know what we're going to get.
Woody Overton
Leah Marie, prayers to you and your family. I know y' all buried your mom this past weekend and you still laying out the best stores in the world. Thank you. So that was definitely different, right?
Co-host/Reporter
All right, let's move on.
Woody Overton
Let's go.
Co-host/Reporter
Just scroll down the list and pick the next one that would come up to beast mode.
Woody Overton
This is a bit different, right?
Co-host/Reporter
We've been doing some subway stories lately.
Woody Overton
I guess, you know, it's a big deal.
Co-host/Reporter
I told you about my nieces that.
Woody Overton
Lived in New York City had never, they never had ridden in a vehicle until they came up here. This been many years back till they came up here and I got to drive them around the property. They, I mean they're renting a vehicle. They always took subways and buses and like that. I mean they've written tax up. They never drove a vehicle I let them drive.
Co-host/Reporter
But we're going to New York City and police are searching for what they're saying is an unhinged suspect who slapped a stranger and then sicked his dog.
Woody Overton
On him in a Manhattan subway station.
Co-host/Reporter
Which ultimately resulted in the dog biting.
Woody Overton
The victim several times.
Co-host/Reporter
Now, 54 year old man was inside the Union Square subway station around 5:20pm rush hour.
Woody Overton
But it was a Saturday when a.
Co-host/Reporter
Verbal dispute broke out between him and an unidentified man over the man's dog.
Woody Overton
That's according to NYPD.
Co-host/Reporter
The man then slapped the 54 year old in the face, removed his dog's muzzle and ordered the large pet to attack him. I'm pretty sure dude got slapped in the face and it was like he's pretty dazed a little bit.
Woody Overton
And the other dude's got this big dog with a muzzle on it.
Co-host/Reporter
Maybe you think he's playing, right? Like how many dogs are trained to attack?
Woody Overton
Well, this one was.
Co-host/Reporter
The victim was bitten by the dog and sustained several lacerations to his left hand. The suspect then fled the subway station with the dog to an unknown area. Now this. Our victim was bleeding and EMS responds.
Woody Overton
To the scene and transported him to the NYU Tisch Hospital in stable condition.
Co-host/Reporter
Photos released by the cops show the attacker walking the leash muzzled brown dog.
Woody Overton
In the subway station while wearing a.
Co-host/Reporter
Large black hat with fur trim, a long camouflage coat, blue jeans and black shoes.
Woody Overton
I'm looking at the picture dog. This dog looks mean. Looks like a Belgian Malinois or something. But they, you know, naturally they're saying anyone the information is asked call NYPD's Crime Stopper hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or 8477.
Co-host/Reporter
So there you have it. Subway.
Woody Overton
Just slap them and you know, hey.
Co-host/Reporter
Because slapping enough I'll make sure I you up.
Woody Overton
I'm sick my dog on you. Literally, you know, the whole bites hurt. The. The. I lost three of my fingers, the tips of three of my fingers getting.
Co-host/Reporter
In between two of my own dogs years and years ago. Had to happen sewed back on.
Woody Overton
The scars are still there. But the I don't fuck with dogs when they fight. Now I don't get in between them. Anyway.
Co-host/Reporter
It'S time for effed up professionals. And we do effed up professionals all.
Woody Overton
The time from all different walks of life, all different businesses. And guess what? The effed up professionals can also be thieves. Right?
Co-host/Reporter
If you're a professional thief and you're stupid or you're effed up, then I'm.
Woody Overton
Gonna put you in this category.
Co-host/Reporter
And we did another one of these recently. So they said a man died Wednesday after he was electrocuted while trying to.
Woody Overton
Steal copper wire from vacant senior housing complex in Philadelphia.
Co-host/Reporter
Now this unidentified man, I don't know.
Woody Overton
Why they wouldn't identify him, but the.
Co-host/Reporter
Unidentified man broke into the Brit Shalom.
Woody Overton
House in West Philadelphia's Windham Heights neighborhood. And it's according to the Philadelphia Tribune.
Co-host/Reporter
And the Philadelphia Housing Authority President CEO Kevin Jeremiah told the Tribune the man.
Woody Overton
Had no business being there.
Co-host/Reporter
You think? Jeremiah said workers found the body in the basement near the building's electrical switch gears. The man had been stripping copper wires.
Woody Overton
When he was electrocuted.
Co-host/Reporter
They said he was not a contractor, he was not permitted to be there. And we made sure the property was sealed with vacant property systems in place all around the building on the first floor on the second. And we believe he trespassed on the property through a window on the third.
Woody Overton
Floor of the building.
Co-host/Reporter
Right. Locke keeps an honest man.
Woody Overton
Honest. This dude had it on his mind.
Co-host/Reporter
So Police Public affairs officer Miguel Torres confirmed the man was pronounced dead at 6:40am I'm not big on New Year's.

And his suspected accomplice who was with the man called 911 and falsely claimed to Falsely claimed a contractor had been.
Woody Overton
Hurt on the job.
Co-host/Reporter
But police are investigating that the person.
Woody Overton
Who called 911 was accomplice to the alleged robbery this quarter. Philadelphia Inquirer get that right.
Co-host/Reporter
So me and my buddy are going to go still like you just wait.
Woody Overton
Here and I'm gonna go here and.
Co-host/Reporter
Strip some wire down. You know, we'll get a couple hundred bucks for it and let me know if anybody's coming. You had to climb up onto the third story to get in because you.
Woody Overton

Co-host/Reporter
But they said the Housing Authority security cameras were not working during the incident and much of the building's power had been shut off and the vandals had.
Woody Overton
Destroyed the other cameras.
Co-host/Reporter
The Death came just one day after Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker announced a 50.
Woody Overton
Million renovation project for the property.
Co-host/Reporter
And they said the City, cities, building trade unions agreed to loan the money.
Woody Overton
To redo the complex.
Co-host/Reporter
So anyway, we just did one look, these happen all the time.
Woody Overton
Y' all don't think this is like something shocking? I think it was last week of the week before we did one dude broke into a substation.
Co-host/Reporter
You know where all your power comes from because there's copper in there, right?
Woody Overton
Copper conducts electricity well. And copper is very expensive, as all metals are. Now they're all at an all time.
Co-host/Reporter
High and they got electrocuted. Well, that's pretty much the chance you.
Woody Overton
Take when you go to be a dumbass thief, so.
Co-host/Reporter
All right, let's see what we got. Now it's time for effed up professionals keeping on what seems to be the theme for the day. We're going to the great state of Arkansas and I wish some of y' all would invite me up there for that unlimited conservation. Snow geese hunt they have.
Woody Overton
Arkansas is pretty famous for it, the y'. All.
Co-host/Reporter
That's one time of the year, I.
Woody Overton
Think it's February and March.
Co-host/Reporter
This snow geese are by the thousands.
Woody Overton
If not millions flying back north in Arkansas. It starts in Louisiana, but Arkansas is in the beltway where they have all the rice fields and they, they will land in these fields and destroy the whole field in one night.
Co-host/Reporter
So they have conservation hunts where you can come out. And most of the time when you.
Woody Overton
Bird hunt, you have to have. You can only have three shells in.
Co-host/Reporter
Your gun or three rounds. These hunts you get take what they call the plug out and put as.
Woody Overton
Many shells in as you can.
Co-host/Reporter
Plus they get to set up speakers.
Woody Overton
And use electronic decoys.
Co-host/Reporter
And it's all in an attempt to.
Woody Overton
Try to get a control on this overpopulation of birds that are causing a billion dollars a year in crop damage.
Co-host/Reporter
So we're going to tell you about an Arkansas state police trooper, and guess what, y'?
Woody Overton
All? He's been fired. Now let me tell you something. I worked for the Louisiana State Police until I got out of law enforcement. And you got to really fuck up to get fired, okay? Because civil service, you know, I could go in and take a shit on the colonel's desk the first time, and all they could do is give me a verbal warning. The second time they give you a written warning, and third time they can fire you, right?
Co-host/Reporter
But this, this trooper, he's been fired. You know why?
Woody Overton
Because he rammed the wrong vehicle during a chase.
Co-host/Reporter
So the officer thought he was conducting a tactical vehicle intervention, also known as precision immobilization mobilization technique or pit maneuver.
Woody Overton
On the driver believed to be the suspect.
Co-host/Reporter
All right, we were trained in those y'.
Woody Overton
All. And then if you didn't proceed, you.
Co-host/Reporter
Pull up almost like you're going to.
Woody Overton
Parallel park, but you're not backing up. You run at whatever speed, and you.
Co-host/Reporter
Slam the front right panel or left.
Woody Overton
Panel right around your front wheel into the rear area, not the rear. You.
Co-host/Reporter
You pull up alongside them, and you. You slam yours a hard right or.
Woody Overton
Hard left into their rear section of their vehicle. And it pits them out. They can't control it.
Co-host/Reporter
It spins them out.
Woody Overton
They lose control of the vehicle, and that's. Sometimes that's the only way to make the stop. And.
Co-host/Reporter
But when you do that, of course.
Woody Overton
You'Re putting everybody's lives at risk. But if you let the pursuit go on, they could kill a lot of people, too.
Co-host/Reporter
But this guy did it in.
Woody Overton
But he did it to the wrong car.
Co-host/Reporter
Now, been in a bunch of pursuits.
Woody Overton
And I'm going to tell you more about this one.
Co-host/Reporter
But you're in a pursuit. You're calling in, you know, the road.
Woody Overton
Conditions, the speeds, the whatever, right to the traffic conditions and everything else you have the suspect vehicle.
Co-host/Reporter
If you're not the first one on who called in the license plate and.
Woody Overton
Deserved the violation, whatever it may be.
Co-host/Reporter
You are listening the whole time you're responding this pursuit. And if you get close enough to do a pit maneuver, you should make.
Woody Overton
Sure it's the right car.
Co-host/Reporter
So they said this pursuit began on Interstate 630 in Little Rock. After stopping the suspect in a white Buick and Vista, which was going 92 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone, the trooper smell what he believed to be marijuana. All right. So the officer also discovered that the driver had a suspended license.
Woody Overton
And when the trooper asked the driver.
Co-host/Reporter
To exit the vehicle, that's either going to happen right then, y', all, or.
Woody Overton
When you go to put your second handcuff on them, they're going to run. That's when they run.
Co-host/Reporter
And when he asked him to exit the vehicle, he ran like a little. Ran like a little bitch in his.
Woody Overton
In Vista, whatever that is.
Co-host/Reporter
So he's hauling ass. Now, according to the Arkansas State Police, the trooper runs back to his patrol unit, calls in on the radio, said, hey, I'm in pursuit, whatever the vehicle is. And unfortunately, in the. In the pursuit, he briefly lost sight.
Woody Overton
Of the suspect vehicle.
Co-host/Reporter
Then he spotted a white SUV ahead of him. And the officer believed that it was a suspect.
Woody Overton
But guess what? It wasn't, bro. You called in the fucking license plate how do you get it wrong?
Co-host/Reporter
So making matters even worse, after he.
Woody Overton
Performed performs the pit maneuver on the.
Co-host/Reporter
Innocent motorist, the trooper gets out of his patrol unit and orders the driver of her vehicle.
Woody Overton
The driver of the the wrongfully pitted vehicle out at gunf. At gunpoint.
Co-host/Reporter
And when he recognizes it's a female.
Woody Overton
And not his guy, and he's like.
Co-host/Reporter
Oh his sugar, turn the shit.
Woody Overton
And he holsters his weapon and he tells the lady, hey, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Co-host/Reporter
But anyway, the state police said we are thankful no one was injured in this incident and we appreciate this motors.
Woody Overton
Accepting the situation with grace. That's corner Colonel Mike Hagar, who's the director of the Arkansas State Police said.
Co-host/Reporter
Even though we know humans sometimes make mistakes, mistake of this nature has serious consequences. And to top it all off, the driver of the Buick and Vista turned himself in to the Arkansas State Police troop A headquarters. And authorities arrested him on felony charges of fleeing and misdemeanor charges of felon.
Woody Overton
To obey a police officer and driving on suspended license and speeding more than 15 miles an hour over the posted limit.
Co-host/Reporter
Bro, if I was a trooper and I did that, that wrong thing, I'd.
Woody Overton
Be, I shouldn't say this but I'd be hoping got away as like some kind of serial killer and multi national bank robber, some kind of rapist, some kind of real badass, right? He ran for a reason. And in my haste to stop this super bad guy, I pitted out this innocent lady. Well, that's not true.
Sponsor Narrator
So the Arkansas State Police stated that.
Co-host/Reporter
The trooper has been hired, had been.
Woody Overton
Hired in October 2024 and he was still on probation. That's how they got to fire me out. They immediately placed, immediately placed him on administrative work duty. And then as the reports came in, the case got work. They fired his ass.
Co-host/Reporter
And according to the Arkansas State Police, since 2016 the troopers have conducted 1,428 TVIs. And of those 1428 TVIs, only two.
Woody Overton
Have involved mistaken identity of the suspect vehicle. What the.
Co-host/Reporter
You had another one. You pitted the wrong vehicle. Well, anyway, that may be true, but however, quick search yields several other sketchy.
Woody Overton
Pit maneuvers and incidents in which the.
Co-host/Reporter
Arkansas State Police detained the wrong driver. And two years ago, people raised questions about law enforcement's use of the tactical.
Woody Overton
Maneuver which had led to multiple deaths in central Arkansas.
Co-host/Reporter
Now look, you know what? You run from the police, even you.
Woody Overton
Take the chance of getting pitted, that's.
Co-host/Reporter
Just, that's par for the course.
Woody Overton
And there's a reason that maneuver is Tall. And it does save lives. And then sometimes, yeah, it costs lies, but that's the price you get for being a dumbass and running. So.
Co-host/Reporter
But I don't know how the.
Woody Overton
You picked the wrong vehicle. That's called pure adrenaline, tunnel vision and being a rookie or a fresh fish. So hate that for them actually, but I hate it for them. That's just a crazy case.
Co-host/Reporter
Now y', all, you gotta listen to this. We. I did a story in the last.
Woody Overton
Probably last month about.
Co-host/Reporter
A person being.
Woody Overton
Seated on an airplane. And ultimately the person was deceased, right? And other passengers were like, I'm pretty sure that person is dead. And the evidently they weren't dead when they got on the airplane, but they were dead when they got got off, which they didn't get off under their own power.
Co-host/Reporter
But we are going to go.
Woody Overton
Just as crazy that we're going to London.
Co-host/Reporter
And now I know we also did.
Woody Overton
A story on people who are, who are, you know, acting like they have injuries and they can't walk to the planes. They get, or they, they get wheelchair to the planes and they use that to get on board early. And sometimes they'll get better seats if there's, you know, the seats aren't filled and like that. And miraculously they call them what, I don't know, airport miracles. When the plan lanes are the first ones to jump up and grab their bag and haul ass. Right?
Co-host/Reporter
Well, this isn't the case. And if you are an old lifer like me, you know about the Weekend.
Woody Overton
At Bernie's movie where they kept the guy alive. Not alive.
Co-host/Reporter
They kept the guy's dead body in.
Woody Overton
The presence of all his friends and in the Hamptons, wherever they were. So they keep the party going all weekend.
Co-host/Reporter
Well, this is a real case of that. And last month they said last month in a real life weekend at Bernie's.
Woody Overton
At the airport, a family was accused.
Co-host/Reporter
Of willing their dead grandmother onto a.
Woody Overton
London flight, telling airline staff, hey, she's just tired.
Co-host/Reporter
Well, now we learn that an 80 year old man willed his deceased wife through the airport in a wheelchair.
Woody Overton
I'm sorry, this was in Spain. It was a flight bound for London.
Co-host/Reporter
And Tenerife South Airport, Spain. This happened back on October 24, but.
Woody Overton
It'S just now being widely talked about.
Co-host/Reporter
So staff at the security checkpoint noticed that the 75 year old woman wasn't responding and that she seemed to have.
Woody Overton
An abnormally low body temperature. She might be dead.
Co-host/Reporter
Airport medical assistance was summoned and guess what happened?
Woody Overton
They tested her and she was in fact dead.
Co-host/Reporter
And the Authorities activated the protocol de helizo d un cadaver, which is a.
Woody Overton
Protocol for discovery of a body, y'. All. She had died from natural causes. This is up.
Co-host/Reporter
The husband was questioned and later released. Contra much of the current reporting, it appears he was never arrested or charges charged. And at least one account, the husband.
Woody Overton
This is where it's up. This is just absolutely crazy.
Co-host/Reporter
I don't know. They're going to London for vacation or wherever the it is and she dies.
Woody Overton
On the way to the airport.
Co-host/Reporter
And you're like, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to cancel all my shit.
Woody Overton
I'm going to London no matter what, motherfuckers.
Co-host/Reporter
So in at least one account, the husband told police that she had died hours earlier inside the airport.
Woody Overton
And that's just crazy. The. The.
Co-host/Reporter
Some of the staff there port claim.
Sponsor Narrator
He actually tried to blame the airport for her dying.
Woody Overton
I'm pretty sure that's not what happened.
Co-host/Reporter
But the.
Woody Overton
The. Ah.
Co-host/Reporter
I mean, you know, I'm glad sin's not in here for that one because the Lord knows what would happen.
Woody Overton
The. The. If you know your wife is dead, you admitted to it. You know what? We're waiting on our flight.
Co-host/Reporter
She was.
Woody Overton
She died. I know she died, but I really want to go to London. Fish and chips is in a pint, right?
Co-host/Reporter
I don't know, talking about handicaps stuff.
Woody Overton
Or you want to really make Woody Overton mad. The.
Co-host/Reporter
I think one of the only times, one of the few times I've ever.
Woody Overton
Ridden a ticket was people parking the handicap spots that didn't belong there. And I know I've told this story before. One time I got a call on it, I went and Adidas in the wheelchair and he's like this. It was a Walmart. I think it's parked in a handicap spot. He's not handicapped. Saw him when he went in. You know, I'm waiting. So we waited on the guy to come out and ultimately I wrote him a ticket for being an. And the guy was like, I didn't.
Co-host/Reporter
Think it was serious, man. You know, I just had to run in for a second.
Woody Overton
And that's when the guy in the wheelchair said, hey buddy. He said, I'll gladly trade you my handicap tag for your legs.
Co-host/Reporter
Right?
Woody Overton
So.
Co-host/Reporter
But you on the flip side of that don't.
Woody Overton
Shade shouldn't be thrown on people that actually need it. And I won't go into detail. This happened this week. This week in my family, a person was. This person is fully mobile. They just move a little slow, you know. And and they got to the check in counter at the airport and the, the clerk or whatever you call the agent checks them in and this person is vehemently against riding a wheelchair. They're like no, I can do it. And I get that, all right, I get that. What you don't want to give that last party in the pencil, right? And I get that even though you may be moving slow, but the agent was like no, it's a long ways to the gate, you need a wheelchair. And they're like I'm not getting in a wheelchair. And they brought a wheelchair anyway. This person ultimately got into the wheelchair and was very distraught about it and said it's not right etc.
Co-host/Reporter
Etc.
Woody Overton
But later on they text me and said you know what had happened. But actually they were thankful that the wheelchair was made available because it was a long ass ways to the gate they were going and they probably wouldn't have made it right. But God bless the people who need them and the people who take advantage of the system and that's always going to be there.
Co-host/Reporter
But anyway, I love y' all Patreon convicts.
Woody Overton
Oh we got something special for you this week but it's gonna be a.
Co-host/Reporter
Surprise and thank you. I love and appreciate each and every one of you.
Woody Overton
Sin and I'll be back together again soon. It just that time of the year when we gotta blow through stuff. Happy anniversary. Real life, real crime and wouldn't be without lifers. And I'm Woody Overton, you host a true crime time for and I'll holler at you later. Peace.
