Hello, everybody, and welcome to this episode of true crime. Time for Wednesday, February 25th, 2026. And I'm Woody Overton. I'm Cindy Overton bringing it to you. Here comes ready or not. Ready or not, here I come. Hide and see. You ever play hide and seek?
C
All the time. From you.
B
Yeah, I'm talking about as a kid.
D
All right.
B
Hashtag just for Bradley. Hashtag just for ao, y'. All. I definitely have not stopped. Definitely haven't given up. Please continue calling your tips three one three rlrc. Tip. I guess Ms. Barbara Blunt's case always. And hashtag just for Haley.
D
We're
B
well over 50% to the 10,000 mark. We need to finish paying the evidence room and Scott Roeder and the scientists to finish concluding the test and reconstructions that they're doing in Haley's murder scene. So if you can go to gofundme and Sunday hashtag just for Haley, all Ms. Barbara, Ms. Barbara, Haley's mama is handling all the finances and she sends it to Scott Roeder so that it's all transparent and you can see some of the work they've already done. But go to any of your social media etc, if you can give a dollar or just share it, it'd be much, much appreciated. So that being said, on this day, February 25th in 2005, Dennis Raider, everybody knows this one. Do you know who he is?
C
No idea.
B
Okay, you will tell you. Was arrested for his crimes as the BTK oh, you know what BTK stands for? No buying torture kill. And he's buying torture kill killer. He claimed the lives of 10 victims by torturing and then strangling them. Raider was known for naming himself the btk killer through letters he sent to the police and news media. Raider was apprehended through an investigation into a floppy disk as well as DNA obtained from medical records from his daughter. Basically he was like a park ranger or something. And I'm pretty sure he has a lot more bodies on him than this. That's what they could time see. Pretty infamous as I guess all serial killers are infamous. Yeah, but probably but he was he as far as serial killers go, if you've rated him good or bad, he would have been a good ser killer.
C
Really?
B
Meaning like he killed a lot.
C
Oh, as far I thought you meant like he was humane but I was like buying torture killing.
B
I mean like in the world of evil he was the worst. He'd have been good. Not the worst but he's. He was up there.
C
So that being said, he was good at being bad.
D
That.
B
That he definitely good at being bad. That is correct. So I want to just mention the show in Mexico which we used to love to go the Even before Cindy when I was a single dad, I'd go every other weekend to cosm to go diving. Three day weekends and the. That was before they had all the cruise ships that come in like six days a week now in cars. But even you know we like going to Mexico, we like going to Belize and. But in Mexico right now they got a show going on. They arrested a guy named el Mencho who was head of one of the cartels. And there's this. I mean I'll tell you a little bit about it but the. The U. S Provided intelligence support for Mexican operation that resulted in the death of nemesio Reuben Osuiga Cervantes known as El Mencho who was the leader of the jalico new generation carts hell and he was killed and shootout with Mexican forces inside his home as they attempted to carry out an operation to capture him. So once he did that cut off the head of the snake. Well, guess what? The snake's still moving. Because the cartel reacted to its leader's death with violence across Mexico placing roadblocks and setting vehicles on fire throughout Sunday. And Mexican authorities said they had cleared most of the roadblocks by late Sunday. But Guadalajara, the capital of jalasisco state and Mexicans Mexico's second largest city which is big y' all because I Think Mexico City has millions and millions and millions of people, but this city was almost shut down at. As residents stayed home. So the. Basically the. The show that it is, just kind of summarize it for you. The like one I was reading one America said they woke up and went out on their balcony. They were six cars on fire and a fuel tanker outside of the thing. And that all the hotels, people are visiting the hotels, they didn't have food for them and stuff because they couldn't get all the transportation shut down. I mean, it's war zone.
C
Yeah.
B
So. And then we, you know, no flights, no nothing. So they said even if. If one guy said even if we could get a flight, which they can, that we couldn't get to the airport because there's no taxis, no way to get there.
C
That's one place I would not want to be under that. Those conditions.
B
Yeah, me either. So. But that's crime. And hope all you lifers that are down there went to sip margaritas, maybe go diving or whatever. Hope you stay safe. And. And it is what it is.
C
It's really sad. I mean, because even going back generations with your family and my family, you know, you were. You stayed going to Mexico, you know, diving, but you went in your early 20s.
B
When I was 18 years old, I was down there throwing down, having a good time.
C
Yeah.
B
You lived on the border.
C
I did.
B
It was totally different back then.
C
Oh, my gosh, it was amazing.
B
So much fun. And you know what? If it was safe like it used to be back then, I would still be gone. I know, but sorry for them.
C
Prayers to everybody that's there and hope they get home safely and the country, you know.
B
Roger that.
C
Well, I've got a story out of South Dakota, and we don't get many
B
out of South Dakota because there's not many people in South Dakota.
C
But this is. I mean, this amazed me, honestly, when I read it. I want your opinion on it. A South Dakota man accused of killing a neighbor whom he had allegedly been told sexually abused a child was found not guilty of murder on Friday. So Dylan Farmer was charged with first and second degree murder back in 2024 for the shooting of Casey Schaefer in Sioux Falls. After his arrest in 2024, Farmer told police he was contacted by a woman to remove Shaffer from her home, and she accused Shaffer of sexually assaulting her son. Prosecutors told the jury Farmer had gone to the Minnehaha County Jail and claimed to have witnessed a murder. And in court filings, Farmer accused Schaefer of being a pedophile. He said, I've heard he touched a child, so I shot him. The prosecution asked the jury to rely on confessions corroborating evidence and common sense. They also stated Farmer confessed five times to killing Schaefer, with each confession having remarkable consistency. And you always tell me that the truth never changes, right?
B
Some little items may change as they remember more or less, but the base facts stay the same.
C
The prosecution outlined it's believed that Farmer had killed Schaefer because Schaefer had sexually assaulted a boy who was important to Farmer. And Schaefer was never charged in connection with this allegation. So during the eight day trial, jurors heard from the coroner who described Shaffer's injuries, which was four gunshot wounds to the head, one through the right arm and one through the back. And the head wounds were the ones that were. Were the fatal shots. And the forensic fingerprint experts testified and they. And then a firearms expert also testified and he said that all bullets fired came from the same gun. A DNA analyst testified Farmer's DNA was found on a pipe located inside the apartment where Shaffer was killed. The defense asserted that there was no forensic evidence to support the allegation that Farmer shot Schaefer and that there were no usable prints available at the crime scene. An electronic forensics expert from Dakota State University who examined data from five phones recovered by police testified that two phones were linked to a woman who lived at the residence and had a relationship of some sort with Shaffer and Farmer. A third phone belonged to Farmer. The fourth and fifth were tied to Farmer's friends and that friend's girlfriend. So after I think it was two hours of deliberation, they came back and he was found innocent. Yeah, not guilty.
B
You know, that maybe always said if you put 12 people in a jury box that are parents and grandparents and brothers and sisters and regular church going folks and they hear, you know, about the pedophile and all that, they're going to want somebody to pay. And, and the guy admitting to doing it and then getting off. Well, I'm pretty sure, I mean, you know, murders, murder, the. Maybe if law enforcement had got the guy as a pedophile and he was locked away and he couldn't rape babies, he wouldn't have got killed by this guy. I'm not making excuses for it, but the. I would venture to say, and I think everybody would agree with me, that they. He got off because the guy was a pedophile.
C
Exactly. And that's why I found it interesting.
B
That's like what's the same in the Baton Rouge airport when they got him back from his karate teacher, basically kidnapped him and was raping him. And he's, he's a lifer.
D
The.
B
And his daddy shot him in the 80s in the airport Baton Rouge. And I mean he got like probation.
C
Yeah.
B
You know, so the hell or jail. It is what it is. Not condoning it, but not saying that. I mean, if he's pedophile, he's pedophiles. And then you know how I feel about pedophiles. So there you have that. And speaking of pedophiles, we. I'm going to tell you about a pedophile who used a work issued iPad to record himself abusing toddlers in a nursery in a campaign of offended offending described as every parent's worst nightmare.
C
Oh, gosh.
B
Well, he has been jailed for 18 years. Vincent Chan, who's 45, said he operated without detection for almost 15 years as he worked as a primary school teaching assistant before later being hired as a nursery worker. His horrific crimes were finally exposed after police uncovered a cache of 1 million indecent images on his laptop after a colleague at Bright Horizons Nursery in West Hempstead, London, raised concerns with managers. He was initially arrested on suspicion of child neglect after he filmed children in distress crying, wetting themselves and eating their own mucus. And he superimposed audio or imagery over the videos in an apparent tempt at humor. What kind of sick is this? Right, this according to the prosecutor, Philip Scott. Yeah, he told this to the Wood Green Crown Court. But after season 69 devices, including hard drives and laptops, officers also discovered footage he had filmed up school children's skirts as they sat at their desk, pictures of his own genitalia taken in a classroom, and horrific videos of him sexually abusing four toddlers during nap time at the nursery. Right. Some of the indecent images are thought to have been taken with his staff issued nursery iPad. Before transferring the material to his personal computer, a number had been organized into folders under the children's names. Right. He also used hidden cameras to catch women changing or going to the toilet and sexually assaulted a woman while she was asleep.
C
So he wasn't preferential. He'd get whatever he could.
B
I think the kids were easiest. In his campaign of abuse and voyeurism, he targeted women and girls who ranged in age from 2 to a woman in her 70s. This included superimposing photos of victims onto pornographic images and naked pictures of himself. He continued to quotations, harvest social media Images of one child from the primary school as she entered her teens following through the life. Right. Jeez. Reading from a police statement outlining the wider impact of Cham's offending, Mr. Stott said he caused enduring distress. Widespread trust in the early years care has been damaged. Hundreds of families sent their children to the nursery and school where Chan worked have been written to about the abuse. They said it's every parent's worst nightmare. Families can't put in the words the distress caused by receiving such a letter out of the blue. Now many parents who entrusted Chan with the care of their child are experiencing the lasting trauma of what if? And he said, and adding that the uncertainty is unbearable because you don't know the kids in the room. They couldn't tell you at that age. Right?
C
Yeah.
B
The parents of one of Chan's young victims said at the time of his abuse, our daughter was too young to understand what was happening. She relied on those around her to keep her safe. That trust was profoundly broken in the parents now live in constant fear about how this may affect their daughter as she grows up, including her ability to trust others. And the fact that the attack was filmed has added to their stress. And he said, adding she was harmed at a time when she should have been safest. A woman who was sexually assaulted by John called for his sentence to reflect the sheer scale of his depravity and added justice in this case can't be lenient. It must be as heavy and as permanent. Permanent as the trauma he forced his victims to carry. Another victim who was secretly filmed said John's crimes made her feel violated and humiliated and left her paranoid about using the bathroom. And a statement from a child who was targeted at the primary school said she was distraught and has been left edgy, jumpy and struggles to walk alone after dark. But however, she insisted the actions of the disgusting person will not define her. And jailing him for 18 years when extended, I guess, license of 18 years. Judge John Dodd Casey said any right thinking person hearing about your offenses would feel revulsion and disbelief. Your conduct was utterly wicked, perverse and depraved. You became a sexual predator and someone who had clearly lost all sense of moral compass. So while the judge is saying this, this dudes in in court and they say he's wearing a gray prison tracksuit and he just stared straight ahead as they read all the crimes out against him. But back in December, he admits to 26 charges. Five counts of sexual assault by penetration, four of sexual assault by touching, 11 of taking indecent images of children and six of making indecent images of children. And fast forward to January. He had admitted to 30 new charges. Twelve counts of taking indecent photographs of children, six of outrage and public decency, sexual assault on a female, and 11 counts of voyeurism. And it just goes on. This would just piss you off. His defense attorney said, this is a defendant who, unlike others, accepts he has a problem. He doesn't want to be the person that he is, and he's willing to accept help. A, you got no choice now. And I'm not even gonna go on reading more about it, but the. That, you know, it's just that that's kind of dude. If somebody put a bullet on his head and they went and admitted to it, the jury would be like it. He's not good.
C
Thank you.
B
He's not. Yeah, right.
C
Yeah.
B
Thank he. He's not guilty.
C
Okay, well, we're gonna go to New York for this story.
B
All right.
C
We have a few teens that were doing some teen like things.
B
All right.
C
They were doing a tick tock challenge.
B
Oh, Lord, they do such stupid on there now.
C
They do. I mean, tide pods and all that.
B
But not only that, the ring, the doorbel. Yeah, yeah. Get you shot. Yeah, do that here.
C
Well, two ch. Two teens have been charged in connection with a foolish TikTok stunt that caused a 16 year old to plummet 50ft and become trapped inside a shaft on the Queensborough Bridge.
B
Wow.
D
I'm not big on New Year's resolutions and I don't sit around making promises myself I'm not going to keep. But I do believe in starting the year doing things right. That means sleeping when I can, eating decent, staying active and paying attention when something feels off. And for a lot of people, especially women, feeling tired or foggy at the start of the year gets written off as stress or burnout when low iron can actually be part of the problem. Iron deficiency affects one in three adults, and the symptoms don't always jump out at you. It can show up as constant fatigue, even when you're sleeping enough, brain fog or trouble concentrating, frequent headaches, irritability or brittle nails and hair breakage. When iron levels are low, your body has to work harder to deliver oxygen, and that can impact your energy focus,
B
mood, and physical performance.
D
An iron deficiency can exist long before anything turns into anemia, which means you can feel it well before it shows up on paper. That's why I recommend Citrol from Pharman Nutra. Sideroll is a premium iron supplement powered by the patented sucrosomil technology. This technology helps your body absorb iron three to four times more effectively than standard iron supplements without the common stomach issues people complain about, like nausea and constipation. Is clinically proven to be comparable to IV iron, and it's made with just two main ingredients, 30 milligrams of sucrosomil iron and vitamin C in a convenient once a day capsule. You can take any time with or without food. Citrol is backed by 20 years of research, 150 plus clinical studies, and is trusted by more than 2 million people worldwide. It's the number one supplement brand in Italy and is used in over 90 countries. If you're starting the year and you're still feeling tired or foggy despite doing the right things, you're not alone and this might be the support your body needs. and his friends that were with him there's left him there literally to die. So a 14 year old boy and a 15 year old boy have been arrested and charged for the roles in the Boneheaded, which is what the report says, stunt gone wrong on Monday evening. The younger teen has been charged with reckless endangerment and criminal trespassing and the older boy with just criminal trespassing. Officers responded to a 911 call on the Queen's End of the East River Bridge around 5:45pm Monday where they found a 16 year old boy from Lynbrook, Long island stuck inside the shaft. Sources told the Post, the newspaper the Post that the boy was filming a stunt to post on TikTok when he fell. Roughly 75 first responders and 10 pieces of apparatus were used to rescue the boy and that is according to FDNY Deputy Chief Nicholas Corrado. He was rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition. An online petition urging for the stunt to be investigated alleged that two of the teen's friends took videos of the boy, identified as Frankie, as he screamed their names in agony and sent them to people online. Nobody deserves to be abandoned and left to die during the worst and most tragic moment of their life, is what the petition said, right? The petition, which now has over 1,000 signatures, says that the two men, the two friends managed to take the wounded teen's cell phone to prevent him from calling emergency services and then fled the scene and went home. And they, you know, they went home obviously knowing they left him in the
B
shaft dying, probably saying don't, we weren't with him tonight. Keep the story straight.
C
Multiple hours later, an anonymous woman who saw the video because you know, they were Sending it out to people, contacted authorities. Fire department in New York had to search each shaft way of the Queensborough bridge until they found Frankie's shoe and blood.
B
Wow.
C
There's a gofundme for Frankie's recovery cost. And the teen was at that point hypothermic and lost a lot of blood. And he now faces a long road of surgeries, recovery and rehab.
B
Geez. Thank God he's alive, right?
C
Yeah. And that's. And the doctor said his survival is nothing short of a miracle. And of course, TikTok is under attack in recent years for allowing these, you know, stunts to be posted and widely shared. But one of the stories that I read, the ending question of it was or not the ending statement was it's not clear at this time whether the boy that was harmed was going to face any charges and he was doing something wrong. He shouldn't have been doing what he was doing. But then he got hurt. I mean, what's the.
B
Whatever. It doesn't matter. I mean, his punishment is what. What he got.
C
Yeah.
B
And why are you gonna waste taxpayer money on that? Okay, so that's craziness. Crazy. Crazy. And here comes some more crazy. It's time for family matters. I'll be the first to go on the record and say you're the best mom I know. You and my mom, Right?
C
Thank you, baby.
B
And the taking care of the kids, the good times and the bad and, you know, just sometimes there's no parenting handbook. Sometimes we mess things up, sometimes we get it straight. And live and learn as you go. Right?
C
Yeah.
B
Well, not for everybody because we're going to Texas. And a Texas mother is accused of helping her husband forcibly tattoo her two young children before she tried to get rid of their tattoos by using a brillo pad.
C
What?
B
Yes, he goes. But now she's headed to prison. Megan Farr, who's 29, was sentenced on Wednesday, February 11 to two years in prison for unlawful restraint and three years in prison for injury to a child in connection with the tattooing. That's according to Angelina county district attorney's office for previously pled guilty to both charges. Now this sentences were issued currently meaning Far will serve three years behind bars. But at far Simpson local KTRE reports that she read a letter in which she addressed her children and said, I want to be a good mother. I would do anything to undo the harm I've made. I love you beyond anything in this world. I failed to be your safe place. Well, the case against Far dates back to April 2023 when she's accused of restraining her five year old child's hands and feet using ties and duct tape in the child's mouth and covering their face. Right. So the five year old was resisting being tattooed by far's husband and the child ultimately tattooed on their foot. And it's According to prosecutors, the far as nine year old child was also tattooed by force. The five year old's teacher learned on the tattoo when the child complained her foot hurt. The complaint also led to the discovery the nine years old kids tattoo. After Megan became aware that the teachers knew the tattoos, she tried to get rid of the tattoos using a solution of lemon juice, salt and vinegar combined with scrubbing the tattoos with a brillo pad. You know that had her. She had to zip tie him and duct table again.
C
That's disgusting.
B
So ultimately the wounds were discover and report to authorities. According to prosecutors, at some point afterward the five year old tattoo had been removed by removing the flesh from her foot. Thinking yeah y so Megan lied to law enforcement about the tattoos and told authorities that they were temporary designs stemming from a pen. She was also accused of taking her children out of school amid the investigation. Then hiding her 9 year old child from investigators and having a 17 year old child lie about the removal of the 5 year old's tattoo. Megan also tried to get the 17 year old to hide tattoo equipment after she was resting. Megan also threatened to kill the children's father while attempting to attain a firearm for making a report to CPS. According to the D A in March of 2025, Gunner was sentenced to five years in prison. It connects with alleged for satooing and you know, they said this case highlights importance of children attending school and the role that teachers and other school employees play in the protection of children. I mean what world are you living in?
D
You're five year old.
B
I mean you could be in prison and tattoo the out of each other.
D
Right? You're gonna test you, your 5 year
B
old and 9 year old for practice or what?
C
I. I don't know.
B
And then they can scrub it off.
C
You know, it's one thing as a parent to make one bad decision, you know, like snap at them or you know, whatever in a moment. But then repetitively make poor decision after poor decision after poor decision.
B
Rip their skin off and lie to the cops and then threaten to kill your husband and everything else and try to buy a gun to do it. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they need to go to prison.
C
Don't be a Megan and all you make is out there. I'M sorry.
B
Yeah. No, that is horrible.
C
Those poor children.
B
Yep. What you got?
C
I gotta. I will. I got a bad dad.
B
It's time for family matters.
C
So just like you started off with yours, this one, you know, is when we become parents, it's our responsibility to love and protect our kids, Right? And finding the balance sometimes between, especially in our children's younger years and as young adults, finding the balance between, like kid time and adult time is sometimes hard. But an Ohio dad named Ty Gracie learned firsthand that he needed to really find a better balance between kid time and adult time. And he did this. On February 16th, the 39 year old went to Bubba's 33 in Canton, Ohio with his younger daughter. Employees were concerned that he may have been intoxicated while leaving with the child and called police. And a short time later, official officers body cameras captured something which was really, really heartbreaking. It was reported that Gracie became very angry inside the restaurant and threatened an employee. He wanted to be served some more and they cut him off. Officers from the Jackson Township Police Department responded to a call about a patron's disorderly conduct. And the officer's body cam posted on social media captured Gracie in a very horrible verbal confrontation with police. The officer asked him, Gracie to put his daughter down, but the father refused. The child was begging and crying, please. Gracie walks away from the police officer and tells them they could just shoot me in the head. He denies drinking that night, but obviously appears very intoxicated in the video clip. He slurs his words as he continues walking across the restaurant's parking lot. Gracie threatens a physical confrontation with police and accuses them of entrapment. And his daughter's sobbing. He's still holding her. And he also refuses to give police his id and he says he doesn't know his Social Security number.
B
Fuck stick.
C
The daughter is saying, please, please, please, I don't want you to take my daddy. She's terrified. She's crying. This in the video. Gracie refuses to put his child down after multiple requests and officers ultimately had to use force to arrest him as his daughter screaming, daddy not gonna let him go. So a woman shared in the comment section on the video posted by Jordan Miller News that her son works at Bubba's 33 and he saw the whole interaction and she said that her son said from the moment they arrived, something seemed off. As you hear in the video, the police officer said he had been drinking before he arrived and then he denied it. But when they looked in his vehicle, he had open containers everywhere. He was very intoxicated and he ordered more drinks, not just a margarita and the server cut him off and then he became belligerent and he was being harassed so he went to leave. So thank goodness the staff called the cops and.
B
Yeah, I mean it just makes me think about all the times having an arrest family members in front of other family members, especially kids. I mean, you know, just because you're holding your kid and I mean you're already breaking the law, you're going to jail. It's going to end one way or another. You could just be a decent and put your kid down and take your lick. Yeah. Because you're going down.
C
Yeah. But he's using her as.
B
You know what they. If he'd have put the kid down and cooperated. They made it. Got him a ride home or something.
C
Exactly.
B
And you never know. But he'll never know either because he was a stick.
C
Yeah. And you can only imagine all of the charges he's now facing. So.
B
Right, there you go. Well, you know, we still need submissions for the dumb criminal segment for a catchy name.
C
What about Felony Fool? I had a few written down yesterday as I was editing.
B
I want the lot. I want the life.
C
I know you do.
B
The. So the Nancy Gray case, right? The lady that was evidently kidnapped from her home. Well, you know what? It doesn't just happen in America. It's time for worldwide crime in this case. And y', all, I'm not saying this is what happened in the case in America. We're going out to Sydney, Australia and a guy named Chris Bagasarian was kidnapped from his home in Sydney on Friday, February 13th. So he's a grandfather who lives in Australia and it's believed to been forcefully taken from his home in a suspected case of mistaken identity.
C
Who.
B
How the you mistake an 85 year old for whoever you're looking for? At around 5am local time on Friday, February 13, police received reports that Chris Bagger Sarian had been kidnapped from his home in North Ride, Sydney. This according to the New South Wales Police Department. They arrived at the scene alongside detectives from the state's Crime Command Robbery and Serious Crime Squad. Then they launched an investigation and authorities now believe that the grandfather was not the intended target in the kidnapping and they are appealing for his safe return. Bagasarian, who's 85, has lived alone since the death of his wife four years ago. That's according to their local 90s quotations. Said they took Mr. Bagasarian whilst he was at home in his bedroom of his family home and they took him and and bundled him into a car and took him away to a location that we did not know this. According to Detective Acting Superintendent Andrew Marks, a dark Toyota SUV that may have been used in the kidnapping was found burnout near Bagas home and at least three people are suspected to be involved in the incident. Now BEG s family is concerned for the 85 year old's health as he needs daily medication. Said being a hostage we really fear for safety and we're appealing for a very safe return and to get medical attention. Please release Mr. Bagasarian. Take him to a hospital, take him somewhere that's safe. And you have the wrong person. Felix Cho, his neighbor Bag is hearing called the police after he heard loud noises from the grandfather's home early Friday morning. He said I heard glass smashing and dogs barking. The screaming just kept going on and then it was muffled. So I ended up looking outside and I saw the guy popping into his car and fleeing off. Well Bagster's family has no past links to any kind of criminal activity or anything. And yeah you know, now are asking for the public's help in his return. Pretty sure he got him on the case. Mistaken identity. You know, you're already. And you burned out the car. He's dead.

We go to Volusia County, Florida and a Florida couple was arrested after the two were involved in a fight over a pickleball. That the way the fight included 20 people. Authorities in Volusia county said they arrested Anthony Sapinza, 63, and Julianne Sapinza, who's 51. I mean, come on, you're playing pickleball. You older, as old as me, right?
C
Take that stuff seriously.
B
Police said the subpoenas physically assaulted team that they were playing against. Now anti subpoena face the charges of aggravated battery and causing bodily harm and two counts of battery on a person 65 years older. So they were playing against old people. They are old people. And they whooped it out on the pickleballs. And Julius Pins is charged with batter on a person 65 years or older. I, I even the kids at least play football. I don't really think I've ever seen it. C

Release Date: February 25, 2026
In this “True Crime Time For” episode, Woody and Cindy Overton take listeners on a whirlwind tour of recent true crime news and chilling cases from the infamous BTK Killer’s arrest anniversary, ongoing cartel violence in Mexico, and disturbing legal cases involving vigilante justice, child abuse, and senseless acts caught on social media. True to the show’s hallmark style, intense stories are peppered with humor, strong opinion, candid banter, and a sense of justice that’s as personal as it is investigative.
The episode maintains the Overtons’ signature: frank storytelling, righteous outrage at evil, moments of gallows humor, and Southern warmth. Their interplay brings seriousness to dark topics, lightened with personal anecdotes, sarcastic asides, and appeals to community (the “lifers”) for both moral support and real-world action.
For those who missed the episode, this is real crime in real time—brash and empathetic, never sanitized. It’s an episode full of difficult truths, calls for justice, and the kind of blunt talk that’s become Real Life Real Crime’s trademark.
