My name is Mackenzie and I started a GoFundMe for the adoptive mother of a nonverbal autistic child. The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic child. So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills. So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis. And we raised about $10,000 within just a couple of months. I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story and just like really being very clear about what we needed, we had some really generous donations from people who were really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.

Hello, everybody, and welcome to this episode of true crime. Time four Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 and I'm Woody Overton. And y' all already know my hostess with the mostest is not going to be with me today. And she's had to cover for me a couple times this week. But next week, we're going to be back together doing bringing you the stories that you love. And we love and appreciate each and every one of y'. All. And let me tell you what happened on February 4, 1974, when I was a whopping 44 years old. Also the day before my birthday. But on this day in 1974, a group of men and women Armed with guns, abducted patty Hearst from her home in berkeley, california. It was soon discovered that Hearst was taken by the siboneys liberation army, or sla for short. The group had already taken credit for shooting two oakland school officials in their goal to destroy the capitalist state. The SLA reported that Hearst had joined their cause, and she was later spotted wielding a gun during a bank robbery. Right, everybody knows about the Patty Hearst story where she ended up falling in love with her captors and taking on their calls and all that. But see how that end for you, right? So that is this day in crime. A long ass time ago. 40, 56, 50, 52 years ago. All right, hashtag justice for Haley on the gofundme. Wow, we're over halfway there. Over 52 or 50, $300 and maybe even higher by now. And if y' all go back and listen this week's episode. Ms. Barber, the moment we need this evidence room, we need their scientific reconstruction and everything. And look, will the chips fall? How they may. If they can't, they come back and say it's possible that it was a suicide, then that's what we'll have to live with until the next DA Gets in office. But they come back and don't want to go on a limb and jinx it. But if they come back and they say they can prove it beyond a scientific doubt, that. That she couldn't have done this to herself, well, then guess what? Brooks Cleary's got a real problem. And which means the d. A. Will have to prosecute him for murder. So if y' all can please continue to give. Very important. You know, each one of these justice cases are different. It's a different monster. Courting cocos. We started with the Mary pushos And of course, Ms. Barbara Blunt and the Bradley and Austin abandons. I mean, it's like children. Each case is different. But right now, we need to bring home this. It's $10,000 for the evidence room, and they are certified in courts as, you know, experts. They've been doing this for a minute. They go all over the world doing it. And unfortunately, it's not free. So please, please, please continue to give and let's bring it home and get justice for Haley. All right, Hashtag justice bradley. Hashtag just for AO 313 rlrctip getting. Still getting calls every day. I love it. The for all the naysayers who think I quit or, you know, want to say that or scared or in trouble. Not true, not true, not true. And I'm just being Able to focus on what I'm focused on now without having all the outside noise of people, you know, saying stuff that I've already. They don't know this. They. They're saying stuff and taking it or running with it and saying, oh, this, this, and this. We got. I've already investigated these things, but I can't tell them about it. And I wouldn't tell them about it because they. They're going to screw it up. All right? And they, the. The. If this case, these cases get screwed up, it won't be because of what Woody Overton did or didn't do. It'll be because people are doing stupid stuff even after I asked them to stop. So that being said, continue calling you tips. And. And we're going to keep. I'm going to keep plugging along on it. I can promise you that the next case I'm going to do, it'll be two weeks from Saturday. It's not. I don't know if we're going to do it as a justice for, but it's a hell of a case. The. It's not. It's not a. Who done it. We'll put it like that. It's kind of like Haley's case. And actually, it's a lot like Haley's case. But the. I have an entire case file. The. The family has been waiting patiently for me to have an opening to talk about it. And. And I mean, I've been promising this mama for. For probably six months that, that I would get to it. So, ma', am, just stand by. It's coming. All right, so let's get down to some true crime time for February 4, 2026. Can I believe it's February already? And look, the cold. Holy smoke. I think we only. With all the different properties, we only had two pipes that burst. But finally it's warming back up, which is love. And I hope y' all made it through safely. Right? All right, let's go to Texas. And y' all know, I believe what I believe when it comes to the death penalty, let me tell you this. The. I know there have been, I say, irrefutable with DNA, and I think DNA is the greatest thing ever because they certainly closes out more cold cases than anything else. But it also has exonerated some people that were on death row. It also, unfortunately, because it's not a perfect system, some people have been exonerated after they were executed. Right. So I believe that if you commit such a horrible crime, then these. It's not just regular Murder, it has to have aggravating circumstances. And especially now with DNA and everything else, I don't care if it takes 40 years to execute them. Right. Do the appeals process, go through it, get it right. Because if you're going to give out the ultimate punishment for the ultimate crimes, then you, I mean, you don't want to take anyone's life. Right. Well. And talk about the length of time and everything else. Well, Mr. Charles Thompson in? Yeah. Charles Thompson is a man responsible for the 1998 double murder of a Houston mother and her boyfriend. And he is scheduled to die in Huntsville or to be executed in Huntsville, Texas, which is where their death house is, y', all, today. All right. So Charles Victor Thompson is 55. Now. He's a year younger than me. Was convicted of murdering Denise Hayslip and Darren Kane at an apartment in northwest Harris County. Right. Houston. Leah Marie's stomping grounds. They said there's definitely a piece of me that's still in 98, said Wade Hayslip, who's Dennis Hayslip's son. Wade Hayslip was 13 years old when his mother was murdered, and he remembers being pulled out of class at Trinity Klein Lutheran School. He said, my vice principal at the time and my youth pastor, both were the ones that told me, said, there's been a shooting. There was one person who has been killed and your mom has been shot. And then I said, it was Chuck, wasn't it? Well, Denise Hayslip started dating Thompson Shortly after her 18 year marriage to Wade's father ended up. Wade Hayslip said Thompson became violent towards his mother. He said there was a couple of nights where they came home late and he was raging mad, punching holes in the wall and just upset. And it wasn't long after that, though, then I noticed the actual physical abuse of my mom. Hayslip said his mom stopped seeing Thompson and started dating Darren Kane. Well, investigators said Thompson wouldn't leave Denise alone, and Kane eventually confronted him. Right then he said he had a fight with Darren and he lost the fight. This record to retired Harris county prosecutor Vic Wiser. Wiser prosecuted Thompson and said the night of the fight, a neighbor called the sheriff's office. Wiser said a deputy arrived and found the pair in the front of Denise's apartment drinking a beer. Parentheses they somehow made peace and shared a beer together and agreed not to fight anymore. He said he accepted the fact that Denise wanted to be with Darren and not with him. That's according to Weiser, the prosecutor. The sheriff's deputy made Thompson leave the complex, but he returned A few hours later with a gun and broke into Denise's apartment. So, evidently, he didn't bury the hatchet. As I say in the quotations, he shot Darren twice in the chest. Darren turned to flee, and he. He was shot once in the back. He fell on the floor, and then Thompson held a gun to the back of his head, the upper part of his neck, and executed him right there. And from what Thompson told his friends and mother, he grabbed Denise in a headlock, forced her to look at Darren's dying body, and told her, I can kill you to bitch. And he shot her right through her cheek. Okay. Denise Hayslip was taken by light Flip Life flight helicopter to the hospital, where she later died. And during his trial, Thompson unsuccessfully argued a dislodged breathing tube at the hospital is what killed Denise Hayslip, not the gunshot to her face. Will you stick? If you hadn't shot her to begin with, she wouldn't be in the hospital. Even if you're right about the breathing tube, that's still a murder murder charge because you put her there. But he also claimed he didn't mean to shoot Kane, but the gun went off during a struggle. Wisner said the evidence refutes Thompson's claims. Obviously, he shot him numerous times, including executed him at the base of his neck. Wiser said Thompson's confession to his friend's mother after the shooting prompted him to try to hire a hitman from his jail cell. And another inmate told sheriff's officials about Thompson's plan. Now, a cover agent by the name of Gary Johnson was sent to the jail posing as a hitman. Johnson's life was the basis for the 2024 Netflix film Hitman, which starred Glenn Powell. Quotations. She's a state witness. She's the only witness they got. That's kind of more important. Thompson is heard telling Johnson on an undercover recording was. Was from July 7, 1998. So it's more important to kill her than to get the gun back. Now, Thompson also tried to direct Johnson to the creek where he threw the gun, which he used in the murders. Thompson is also heard on the tape complaining he paid another man to carry out the assassination. But. But that man took his money and did nothing. Well, guess you wouldn't tell the popo that you hired somebody to kill one of your victims and a state witness and he just took your money. Quotations. If I go ahead and take her out and you get out, is there a chance you could tighten me up? Then Johnson asked the undercover hitman, y', all, oh, Hell yeah. Thompson said, okay, I'll kill her for 1500. Johnson tells Thompson he doesn't have a soul. He doesn't have a conscience. That's according to prosecutor Wiser. After being found guilty and sentenced to death, an appellate court ruled the use of the undercover tape involved Johnson was a violation of Thompson's Sixth Amendment rights. Thompson was given a second punishment trial, which also ended with the death sentence, as it should have. He's, I mean, you're in jail for murder already and in attempted murder and you're trying to kill witnesses that if that's not aggravating circumstances, check this out. Thompson wasn't done being an. He's in Harris County Jail down there in Houston. Well, guess what? He escaped. He escaped, y'. All. And he was arrested three days later in Shreveport, Louisiana, which is like six hours from Houston. That's the farthest, most western northwestern corner of the state of Louisiana. I mean, it's right on the Texas line. Thompson said he made it all the way to Shreveport by posing as a Hurricane Katrina evacuee. Right. He said, I'm just now starting to feel and put it into words some of the things I'm feeling. Wade Hayslip this set of Thompson's independent execution. Hey Slip said he will witness Thompson's execution. Said, I'm just looking for accountability and the only thing he has to offer me at this juncture is his life. And that's according to the victim. Sign. Yeah, these are real people, real murders and this is like six years later he escapes because Katrina was in 2005. He was never going to stop and trying to hire a hitman from jail and whatever. I, you know, they may stop it tonight, I don't know. But if they don't, I will let you. I will let you know what his final words were. What have you a well built wardrobe isn't about chasing trends. It's about having pieces that work together, feel good to wear and actually hold up over time. That's what quints does best. Premium materials, thoughtful design, and everyday staples that feel easy to rely on even as the weather starts to shift. Quint has all the everyday essentials I love with quality that lasts. Organic cotton sweaters, polos that work for just about any occasion. Lighter jackets that keep you warm without feeling bulky. Then the list really does go on. Everything is designed to handle daily wear and still look good season after season. One of the reasons quints can do this, because they work directly with the top factories and they cut out the middleman. That means you're not paying for brand markups, just well made clothing at a price that actually makes sense. And they only partner with factories that meet rigorous standards for craftsmanship and ethical production. I'll be honest, I normally wouldn't spend money on cashmere, but the cashmere sweater I picked up from Quince completely changed my mind. It's ridiculously soft, comfortable and the price was so reasonable that I actually bought it without a hesitation. It feels like something that should cost way more than it does, and it quickly became one of those pieces that I reach for all the time. Refresh your wardrobe with quints. Quince.com RLRC I'm not big on New Year's resolutions and I don't sit around making promises myself I'm not going to keep. But I do believe in starting the year doing things right. That means sleeping when I can, eating decent, staying active and paying attention when something feels off. And for a lot of people, especially women, feeling tired or foggy at the start of the year gets written off as stress or burnout. When low iron can actually be part of the problem Iron deficiency affects one in three adults, and the symptoms don't always jump out at you. It can show up as constant fatigue even when you're sleeping enough, brain fog or trouble concentrating, frequent headaches, irritability or brittle nails and hair breakage. When iron levels are low, your body has to work harder to deliver oxygen, and that can impact your energy, focus, mood and physical performance. An iron deficiency can exist long before anything turns into anemia, which means you can feel it well before it shows up on paper. That's why I recommend Sideroll from Pharma Nitra. Sideroll is premium iron supplement powered by the patented sucrosomil technology. This technology helps your body absorb iron three to four times more effectively than standard iron supplements without the common stomach issues people complain about like nausea and constipation. It's clinically proven to be comparable to IV iron, and it's made with just two main ingredients, 30 milligrams of sucrosomil iron and vitamin C in a convenient once a day capsule. You can take any time, with or without food. Sideroll is backed by 20 years of research, 150 plus clinical studies, and is trusted by more than 2 million people worldwide. It's the number one supplement brand in Italy and it's used in over 90 countries. If you're starting the year and you're still feeling tired or foggy despite doing the right things, you're not alone. It's time for worldwide crime. Okay, you get a two for Beast mode and Worldwide crime. And you know, I don't really know how I feel about this. We're going to England and pet lovers be warned. Okay. They said thousands of pet monkeys could be seized and killed as a ban on keeping the animals is pending. All right, so the RSPCA estimates there are between 4,000 and 5,000 marmosets, capuchins, squirrel monkeys, and other primates in the UK homes. Okay, well, people got them as pets and I knew I had a friend of mine that had one, but this monkey was like from Argentina or some somewhere down South America. But are there new laws coming Into Place on April 6? Owners will have to prove they can keep monkeys and primates to high zoo level standards as well as they got to get license, y'. All. So they said. But a mere three applications for license were made to local authorities in England by the start of November. This according to the Freedom of Information request. But. And the but the application process had been open for a year. Let's do the math on that. Three people out of they see you got four or five thousand of these pets and only three people are agreeing to do this. Well, the ban introduced under Rishi Sunak's government was signed into law in 2024. Now, Lord Douglas Miller, who's a former animal welfare welfare minister, said anyone who fails to provide the same welfare standards as found in the zoo faces a fine and having the primate removed from their care. Now, while local authorities said owners would be given time to meet new regulations, the standards, which include indoor and outdoor access, sufficient cover, enclosure size and UV light levels that that's what they're the zoo levels, y', all, the zoo standards, if you will. They said it means many owners will likely fail to meet the high standards and face losing their primates. Some could be rehomed in sanctuaries, but ill pets face euthanasia now. Chris Lewis, who's a Born Free, which is a wildlife charity, told the Times in this according to the Daily Mail. Y', all, as soon as the local license authority seizes an animal, it becomes their responsibilities. If primates have serious health conditions, there will have to be decisions made as to what is the kindest thing for that animal. Well, the trend for keeping monkeys as pets in recent years has been blamed on social media and celebrity monkey enthusiasts, including Justin Bieber, whose pet capuchin monkey, OG Malley, was confiscated from him in Germany in 2013 by custom officials. And it goes on to say that many owners keep them in poor conditions without a suitable diet or enough daylight. Now, when the law was introduced, the RSPCA head of public affairs, David Bowles, said meeting the needs of monkeys and other primates is practically impossible to do in a household domestic environment. That's why this legislation will be a really important moment for animal welfare, ensuring primates can only be kept in an appropriate environment, as well as strive to create better world for every animal. Too often our dedicated officers are called to properties where monkeys live in the wrong surroundings, eat totally inappropriate diets and are at risk of suffering behind closed doors. This new law has the potential to change that and the Local Government association said it is essential that the new license and process for keeping primates is fully funded and that councils are supported to implement. The Department of Environment, Food and Rural affairs said primates are highly intelligent and complex animals and new laws mean that where they are kept by private keepers, they must be provided with zoo level welfare standards. And we urge private keepers to make sure they are licensed in complying with these high welfare standards. And we are working with local authorities on how to enforce the new license scheme. All right, I got a couple of things I want to say about that. I get it. The it's like child abuse cases and the parents are found you know, kids living in deplorable conditions and they're on dope and they can't take care of them, whatever. And so the state steps in and takes kid. I get that. It's for the benefit of the kid. Now also understand that people want to have their pets. We have our fur babies. God knows, you know, we treat them like our children. The, the coming with a ban now because, I mean, undoubtedly, you know, some kids like, oh, I want to make a capuchin monkey and talks their parents into it and you know, maybe they're feeding bananas. I don't know what the. They feed them, but the, the, the, the monkey or I think it's a chimpanzee that my buddy had when I was a kid. It had to wear a diaper. They fed it. I was like a member of the family. All right, but you're going to go now because somebody inevitably is going to up and. And you're going to require these people to have a damn zoo in their house and UV lights and the covered enclosure in the backyard. I mean, a lot of these people live in apartments and. Right. Or homes or condos in, in England. It's not like they're living in the country like I am and have access or place or means to do that. But you, you're now, because they don't want to apply for a license. You got to go in and take every. You're going to take 4,000 monkeys. For people that love these pets, I'm pretty much sure that's going to be a shit show. I'm not saying that some of them should be taken because just like parents, there's shit bags we tell you all about every day on the stories. They don't deserve to be parents. They don't deserve the privilege and the right. And guess what? That in those, in those cases, when it's found out, the state takes them, and rightfully so. And hopefully they go to a family member that's sane or, or they get placed in a good home. I'm sure some get place in bad places. But these monkeys, man, think about that. Like 4,000 people that I guess the, the Gestapo police coming to knock on the door and the. You got to have fun. And for these people to go out there and check and see are you feeding them the proper diet? Do you have UV lights? Do you have an enclosure in your backyard? And then you're going to take them in. 4,000 monkeys. There's not 4,000 petting zoos in England or wherever these animals can be Shipped to they're basically they're going to take them and kill them. I mean I don't know you're not coming to my house to get my dog but I don't mistreat my dog either. But the just but some people do it and that's the way that it is and I hate that for all them and but I don't know crazy the I I bet you lifers out there like I know England put a ban on a certain breed of dogs or whatever and that always gets a violent reactions from the fans when we read those stories. But the I bet you the lifers out there wouldn't let people come in their home and take their pets. When you, if you're doing a good job and you, you know the animal is happy even though he doesn't have the enclosure of a zoo or the UV lights or whatever they're eating hanging out and they're loving life but you gonna take them. Let's see how that works out for you. It's time for effed up professionals. Wanna talk about a effed up professional? I mean thankfully on this at least no one's dead. But I at one time and I was going to be a federal agent and I was going to start with the border patrol but my ultimate goal was to be an FBI agent. And that's the truth. And the guy did what he did and life went the way it went. But the FBI, that'll be your investigation founded way back in I think the mid-20s to combat the interstate crime. And we had all the you know, John Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde and all these people are just running from state to state and we didn't have the federal oversight if you will a federal agency that handle that. But the FBI is like the Texas Rangers. They're supposed to be the criminal crown. And now to be an FBI agent you, you either have to have a law graduated from law school or accounting school. They're real big on accounting now but you got to have like master's degrees and, and, and plus if you have law enforcement experience, whatever but and it's a hell of a thing, it's a hell of a process to get into it. And you would think and they have to take polygraphs and the psych bowels and, and everything else and you think once you're in there you're good to go, right? Well not so in this case. Now let's talk about another thing real quick as a preface to the story. Revenge porn. I'm 50, I'm be 56 tomorrow. Who in the world would ever thought that there would be such a thing? I mean, we came up. The worst you get is a naked picture of somebody on a Polaroid camera. But if it's in with all the shit with the Internet and everything over the years and the revenge porn was a big thing, like you break up and you post your sex tapes with your girlfriend and all that. And they had websites, made a lot of money, but they outlawed it and made it illegal, obviously for a reason. What happens behind closed doors between two people? So stay behind closed doors. I'm gonna tell you about a former FBI agent who installed hidden cameras to capture disturbing revenge porn images. As many as 80 women, y'. All. 80 women, including his wife. Mark Allen Wells, who's 45, was arrested last May after three women, one being his ex wife, alerted authorities to their concerns about his activities, which prompted officers to visit his Tulsa, Oklahoma residence. A man who covertly recorded himself having sex with a woman using his smart glasses. And he's avoided jail time. Y' all think about that. Look, cameras. And I still do some stuff undercover every once in a while. I had a camera and a watch. I got a camera Pim. I got a camera and eyeglasses. You never know where you got a camera today, right? So the disgrace XB FBI agent had amassed thousands of explicit photos and videos of up to 80 women which were captured without their knowledge. And when authorities examined this laptop, they discovered a massive collection of the images and footages. And this according to the Mirror U.S. news Agency.

The majority of these images and videos were sexually explicit in nature, and each album was labeled with a woman's name, typically just her first name, but additional subfolders existed within were labeled with terms like text, which contained further material and it's all in the court document, y'. All. Now, authorities believe he filmed the women without their consent through of even though they didn't find hidden cameras at his house. Officers did locate a fake smoke detector that could have concealed a record device. Now, Wells also faces charges for distributing these sentiment images to at least eight other individuals, and some of the pictures depicted women engaging in sex acts, and it remains unclear whether the women were aware they were being photographed. Now, Morgan Ballou, who had been in a relationship with Wells for several years, disclosed that he bragged about his collection of inappropriate pictures. And after viewing the Disturbing images. She contacted one of the women in the photos, which was his fiance, Savannah Smith. And guess what? She gave Miss Savannah an earful and she told her that, hey, I'm looking at this. This is what I found. Then the two women reported him to the police, which triggered an investigation that resulted in more women stepping forward once charges were filed against him. Right? The I can guarantee you most of them didn't know. And I told you, I tell you all the time. Almost important for the sexual deviant to commit the act is to record it. Ask Denny Perkins. So Wells, they gonna open an investigation on him. And once they do that, other women are gonna be like, holy, it could be me. I wanted them to tell you something. Mr. Wells is in his 40s. He's doing some plan, right? He's got 55, at least 55 different women and he's having sex with the in recording them. I mean, he's got game or he's hung like a donkey. I don't know what the deal is, but evidently it takes a lot of time to sleep with 55 women and video or have sex with them. But Wells initially denied possessing such a collection until detectives discovered it on his hard drive. Quotations, I can't imagine why I would brag to someone I wasn't in an exclusive relationship with about having naked photos of other women. This is quite what well said in his affidavit. Now, Wells ex wife also claimed that the disgrace agent secretly filmed her and she found a hidden camera on a bookshelf in their guest bedroom. Ballou, who is a car dealer by profession and also works part time as a model and an actress, sued Wells on January 18th for $150,000 in damages. And besides the secret recordings, he had sent explicit images she took for him to at least two other individuals. And value described Wells to the police as a master manipulator and expressed that discovering his actions made her feel angry and violated. Right. Using consenting adults can do whatever the fuck they want to behind closed doors, video yourself, do whatever. You know, that's between you, right? Everybody has a sex drive. How we all. That's how we all got here. And then the technology age, okay, you want to video yourself and play and do whatever you want to do, great. But you're not expecting to leave, right? You're not expecting. You're never expecting your husband or your fiance or whatever he is to turn around and send these to other people. But guess what? That sexual deviant, that's where they get off. Is in the Senate to other people that you don't know about. So he Wells has been suspended from the FBI and is now facing two felony peeping Tom counts and 11 misdemeanor charges for non consensual dissemination of private sexual images. And his next court appearance is scheduled for April 1. The FBI promptly suspended the agent stating that such behavior would not be tolerated. You think and now they got to have a section of policy procedure manual and the FBI that says you can't secretly film women and distribute it because he that up. They said as soon as allegations came known the employee was removed from a special agent duties and has been denied access to FBI facilities pending the resolution of the matter, according to FBI. They also stated, we strongly condemn any behavior that falls short of the high standards. We are cooperating with local law enforcement and all relevant entities investigating this matter. So even the best of the best, y'. All, the FBI can be idiots. And we know that, right? The the good and bad in every profession. I like to believe. I like to I guess be an optimist and think that if you. You're an asshole for long enough, you can get caught sooner or later. One day the worm will turn and then music will stop playing your song, right? Hashtag just for Bradley. Hashtag just for a. Hashtag just for Ms. Barbara Blunt. So anyway. All right, where am I to take y' all next? Where you want to go? You want something happy, sad, mad, stupid? This kind of stuff I'm gonna tell y'. All. Liam Marie, I want to give you a shout out, sweetie. I know you're gonna be burying your sweet mama this weekend. And y', all, she's just. Just floods me with crazy stories like I'm just gonna read you a couple titles. This one is terminally ill man who's 39 walked into the ocean with his elderly dog. Actually, let me read a little bit on this. So terminally ill. Terminally ill hiker who went missing with his dog is believed to have died after walking into the Outer banks Ocean. Christopher Palmer's 39 traveled to the Smoky Mountains on December 8th before abandoned his. His abandoned truck was discovered more than a month later. Anyway, y' all they goes on about the. You know the search form and the he's from Arkansas originally suffering from a terminal illness and the all that. But in the end I'm gonna get down to about the dog part. The they they they said they discovered his per personal belongings along the coastline and his family believe that he perished in the sea. And it goes on and on and on. But they the family said that Palmer's beloved dog Zoe was a beautiful, well behaved 11 year old German shepherd whom he loved. They said she has been by his side since he was a puppy. And according to Palmer, this guy that walked into the ocean, Zoe was very sick and took several medications as well as suffering from severe hip dysplasia. And they this is fucked up they said is our belief that our son spent some time in the woods to be with her in her final days. And evidence of that was a shovel found in his truck after her passing and he laid her to rest and continued his trip to the coast. So they thanked the United Cajun Navy and all the volunteers. Evidently he didn't. Well, we don't actually know. I guess he dispatched ever or walked in the ocean. I'm just giving you some examples of way we can do any kind of story you ever wanted to hear because Liam raisons them all. All right, I'm going to do this one and we're going to go to Florida, y'. All. And they're saying about this dude and wait till I tell you what he did. They said he's not your typical stoner, right? Get a little high, want to go to Taco Bell, get you a taco. Me myself, I like the crunch tacos, right? And get your tacos and go home, put you a good movie on and chow down on your tacos. I get all the extra hot sauces, y'. All, so. But they call this dude, this is funny, they call them a bean burrito brained bandit. Broke into a Florida Taco Bell through his drive through window and then rob workers and customers because he was armed with assault rifle. No pistol, no shotgun, no knife. No. He was armed with a large rock. And now homeless man Kiorin Lee Anderson, who's 40, was sentenced months after he was captured by Ocala Police Department canine dog who found him hiding behind a dumpster after his run on the border. Court, they don't even allow that to be said anymore. Back in the day Taco Bell commerce say run for the border. They don't do that because all the immigration shit, even before all this immigration shit that's going on now. But they said Anderson broke into the restaurant through the drive thru window while clinching a large rock in his fist. And he started demanding money from the staff and the patrons, even chasing them all out of the building so he could have free rein. And according to CaliNews.com he was half naked and he tried to flee the scene but he didn't make it. Very far thanks to the dutiful canine dog who tracked him down in minutes. And when the dog rounded the corner and started sniffing Anderson, he started screaming and held his hands up to surrender. And it's according to the body camera footage which was obtained by this news outlet. They said it's unclear how much cash Anderson may have absconded with during his few minutes of freedom, if he got any at all. But Anderson was homeless at the time and told police he needed money. In this. According to the arrest affidavit, Anderson reportedly got into a physical altercation with another person incarcerated near him just six hours after his arrest. And he was charged with battery by a person at a detention facility in August on top of the original armed robbery charge. Y', all, they got pictures of him inside the Taco Bell and he's naked except for a pair of flip flops and a sagging shorts. And he looks crazy AF the you see the video. They said he was found guilty on both charges on January 22 and sentenced to four years in prison, minus the 199 days he's already served in the Marion County Jail. Now, Anderson isn't the first diner to go postal inside of Taco Bell. In late October, disgruntled Taco Bell employee returned one day after he was fired and gunned down. His manager, who was a father seven killed him in the parking lot, y'. All. One wild video captured inside a California Taco Bell last year showed a security guard at the chain restaurant viciously slapping a rambunctious customer who refused to leave. Like, get out. You don't want to leave. I just beat the piss out of you. So there you go. Taco Bell. I always loved it. The the robbing a Taco Bell with a rock. Actually this first time my entire life I've ever heard of anything being robbed with rock that this two climbs through the window. I don't know. I'm pretty sure he needs a psych facility and but it takes all kinds to make the world go around. The it is what it is and that's I'm going end it for today. February 4th, my birthday eve. We got stuff going down, y'. All. Oh just I wish you I wish I could share everything with y' all on all the cases but specifically Bradley and Austin Abanions and but you just wait hang in there and see and don't give up. I never give up, never surrender. But the the and I know this because I've worked it the way people are acting and the things they are looking at it's just absolutely 1000% I have hard evidence they're just dead wrong and that and if I tell you that X amount of times and you just don't believe me and then you want to you know belittle me and say nasty things and and or more importantly you're not listening to me when I'm telling you you're up the investigation but that that's why it's not being done anymore in that way but I want you to know it is being done and it's very important to me that we get justice for Bradley and and a very very important so and Haley all again we're over halfway to the what we need to get the evidence room to do Haley's case and other than that I guess that's all I got to say for today that love you thank you and I'm Woody Overton, you host a true crime time for February 4th Wednesday 2026 and I holler at y' all later.
