Hello everybody and welcome this episode of True Crime. Time for Thursday, July 10th, 2025. And I'm Woody Everton.
Unknown
I'm Cindy Everton.
Woody Everton
Woohoo on Thursday. Yeah man. Al, how you do alcohol? You don't really want me to do it. I do alcohols to make turkeys gobble on the roost and one is still dark.
Unknown
You can talk to mockingbirds as well.
Woody Everton
Yeah, night birds really sick then. This is crazy how many night birds they have out here. Yeah. So you come out, you think it's broad daylight, birds just chattering away talking to each other.
Unknown
They are so.
Woody Everton
All right, let's get down some some business in the business. How about this? How about a little contest for all you lifers. I just came up with this like 10 minutes ago. So for the Live at Southeastern on July 19th, Saturday. And more and more people are buying tickets and I got more messages this morning. They got their hotel rooms, etc. And that's great, y'. All. We have some tickets because Southeastern made it available and we thank them for that. We think walk ons guest bartending that Friday night or that Friday evening. And all tips go to Lopa, Louisiana, Oregon procurement agency. The live is going to be outstanding, y'. All. It's. It's an unbelievable story, and it happened about two miles from here. I knew the cast of characters before they did this, and. And I can. It's. It's like the most disturbing I've ever told.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
So the. And I have personal interactions with each and every one of them. It's gonna be raw and unscripted. But that being said, we have 10 tickets and we're going to give away five sets of two. All right. And this is how it's going to work. The if you go follow Real life Real Crime on YouTube and follow Real Life Real Crime on TikTok and send us a. I don't care how you send it. You can send to cindyealliferealcrime.com or woody@realliferealcrime.com Or. Or message us. However you get in contact with us. We should put it in one place.
Unknown
Yeah, I was thinking that.
Woody Everton
But just email it that you did it to cindyealliferealcrime.com or woody@realliferealcrime.com and we'll put everybody that does it into a hat and we'll draw it and I'll announce it on Saturday show the winner this Saturday show. That'll give you time to plan. It'll give you a week to plan to be there. Now, for you lifers who already follow us on TikTok and, and YouTube and have already bought tickets, you put. Put your name in the hat and, and withdraw it. And if you get it, I'll personally refund your money. Okay.
Unknown
Okay. They saw my eyes.
Woody Everton
That's all right.
Unknown
This is a business, Woody.
Woody Everton
I know, but I want to see what kind of generation, not generation, what kind of interest we can get on those two platforms because we're growing them every day.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And. And all the YouTubes come out, you know, a couple days after the regular episodes because it takes a little more time and it's business reasons because our agent through the other thing, it's a separate entity. Right. Not because we're making money off of it, but we're growing it and that's that. So. And hashtag, just for Bradley, I'm recording that. Well, Wednesday evening with Morgan Baggett. And that would be this evening because we're a day Early.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And Cindy's gonna push it out as fast as you can. Of Patreon of convicts commercial free early release. And then everybody else is going to get it on Friday. It's going to be a hell of an episode. I do not have a script for it. I'm going to be going to be raw and unscripted. I'm just going to leave Morgan wherever he goes. But it's going to be. I know what juice is there, I can tell you that. And we're about to lay down some cold hard facts and. And probably another murder that's involved, but we'll get to that too. So go Follow us on YouTube Real Life, Real Crime. Follow us on TikTok Real Life, Real crime. And send it in by email and we will draw. I will draw them out of the hat and announce on Saturday show.
Unknown
Okay.
Woody Everton
All right. So anyway, it's gonna be fire. Thank you everybody that's bought tickets and it's coming and it's going to be a great time and can't wait.
Unknown
Yeah, it's going to be fun. And we might have a raffle or two. Some giveaways there.
Woody Everton
Oh yeah, she's got all kinds of shit. Like there's two stacks of brand new koozies on the table. One camouflage. Real life, Real crime alive. And one the red and the. The. Is it red and white?
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And, and I. I know what those are for. That's from. For peeps. But y', all, when you come, you're gonna get all kinds of. Anyway.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
So plus there'll be door prizes and all that. But let's get down the business and I'm gonna talk about something real quick. I read it Co Burger. You know, the case is near and dear to my heart. So he did. I told y' all that you always have to. In my experience, the bad guys always have to tell what they did this. He got. He. He did it. But they, they only made him write a letter. And, and all he stated in a letter is on such such date, I did commit the fence. And he used all the legal statutes of burglary by breaking into residence such and such then count one of first degree murder. I did commit first degree murder by breaking into such and killing, you know, Kaylee or who. And he did each one of them all for them individually, but the same sentence didn't say he stabbed them to death. Didn't say did whatever. How, how much they suffered and were terrified and everything else. And he's, he's. I'm telling you he's laughing about that and, and he's thinking, well maybe something happened in the world and, and I'll be alive, I'm still going to be able to get out. I'm gonna beat him. Haha. They'd have got me at trial and they sentenced me to death. But now I'm gonna get to live in general population and I'm gonna beat the system.
Unknown
So do the, did the parents and the family members still get victim impact statements when he did it that way?
Woody Everton
The sentencing until October.
Unknown
So that's when they'll do.
Woody Everton
I would guess, I would guess. I'm speculation on my part. Okay, give us a story. It's time for worldwide crime.
Unknown
We're going to Thailand.
Thailand?
Woody Everton
We're probably going to go there one day.
Unknown
Yeah, yeah.
Woody Everton
Because that's where they have all the beautiful coast stuff, all the beautiful beaches.
Unknown
I don't want to go there till.
Woody Everton
We'Re really, really, really old. Can we be like 100? Yeah, we won't talk about that. Go ahead. Okay.
Unknown
On June 30, authorities in the uterotic province of North Thailand.
Woody Everton
Kimmy just got back from there.
Unknown
I know that's what was kind of intriguing about this because I bet Kimmy probably, well, who knows. But there was an eight year old boy who was rescued.
Woody Everton
Okay.
Unknown
And he's only being referred to as a, because obviously he's a minor and he suffered from what they're describing as worse than neglect. He was found unable to speak and he barked like a dog. Can you imagine happening upon. I mean like come in. He was discovered living in a dilapidated wooden house with his 46 year old mother and 23 year old brother. And both battled addiction and their home was shared with several dogs. The boy couldn't speak and like I said, he barked like a dog instead. And he hadn't been to school regularly according to school officials. So this is how the rescue unfolded. A local school principal raised the alarm which like prompted a welfare check. They didn't call it, well they didn't call it that but prompted the police to go and check on him. And it led to them seeing the unstable living conditions and him barking like a dog. And he was taken to the uteratic children's home and where he's now receiving care and support. And authorities have charged his mother and brother only with drug related offenses at this point. So we're hoping that he gets obviously the, they're putting him in a special home to get the recovery that he needs and.
Woody Everton
It'S like starting all over Again, I know.
Unknown
Eight years old, I forget.
Woody Everton
When I was in college, the one of philosophy classes or whatever, and they had a story about if you grew up inside of a cave and it was pitch black and you never seen sunlight or anything else. And then if you actually, you know, like you're 20 years old, maybe just ad living that. But you finally one day you go out into the sun and it's a whole different world. What do you do?
Unknown
Yeah, you would do.
Woody Everton
You do. You'd be all up.
Unknown
You would be.
Woody Everton
Yeah, yeah. And that's crazy. But let me give you one. We're gonna go and go to H town, Houston. And this one just. It's a short one, but it brought back memories for me.
Unknown
Before we do that, can we do a shout out to Texas?
Woody Everton
Yeah. Always prayers for those people. Look, that rescue swimmer Leah Marie's been posting about. It's not funny, but that same weekend I got our son who'll be 15 on Sunday, and his best friend's over and they're both at that age and I believe in the military and join and all that. And I got him to watch the Guardian with Kevin Costner from 2006 where he was a Coast Guard rescue swimmer. And if you haven't watched the movie, go watch it. He was like the most famous. And then they had the young buck coming up and everything. I'm not going to ruin it for you. But the. That they had that rescue swimmer who saved like 130 or 140something people and then finally just passed out. But prayers for all those people and all those families and prayers for people everywhere. Yeah, I say. But anyway, let's go to Houston and the cops get a call about this woman acting like a fool. Look, I had the same fucking thing, this almost identical happen, and the woman ended up dead.
Unknown
Okay, okay.
Woody Everton
Because the cop shot her.
Unknown
Oh, yeah. Okay.
Woody Everton
Well, you know what?
Unknown
She was going crazy.
Woody Everton
Well, then what then? The investigators were trying to figure out what led up to the deadly shooting early Wednesday morning, which involved the police and a barricaded suspect. So the assistant chief, Jay Bryant with the hpd, said officers got a disturbance call Tuesday evening at home in on North Durham Drive in the Heights and said the cause of disturbance was not disclosed at this time. But an unidentified woman was found outside. By the cops that showed up, Right? Well, when they showed up, she ran inside her apartment, but then she ran back out. Nope. She opened the curtains or whatever on the window and guess what? She had a gun in her hand and she pointed at the officers well, you know what the officers did? Now, this is how we used to back do it back in the day. You'd back out, set a perimeter and call in swat, all right? They come in, relieve you, and whatever we do, stand off. We had hostage negotiators and all that, because at this point in time, even though she pointed out and they could have killed her, they could have shot her then, you know, you just. Hopefully it'll end peacefully. Well, so the SWAT team was called out and negotiators. And it went on for hours and hours and hours. And I remember being out on one, and the woman was naked and she had a pistol, and she locked herself inside the thing, and she kept getting in front of the window naked and masturbating and all that. And with the gun, and I'm not going to say his name, but I was standing beside the negotiation, and I almost went to negotiation school, and then they thought better of it and he kept. But they would. They would. Had the throw phone they threw through the window and all that. And she would talk a bit, and. And I remember him saying, not on the phone. He was like, I wish you could just go ahead. Because we were out there, it was hot as fuck. We out there all night, and then ended up having to cut the power and she ends up firing the gun. And then we had to make entry. Right. But at the same time, I was stacked up in the stack and went through the flashbang against the window, and it bounced off and blew up and took our whole line out of the way because. Because we couldn't see her here. But anyway, so they. They're doing the same shit and it's hot and they're negotiating all night long and into the morning hours of Wednesday. And at one point, Assistant Chief Bryant said the woman came out of her home briefly, but then she reappeared again, that window with a gun, her hand, and pointed at officers and threatened them.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And that was it.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And boom. Yeah, not boom. Take it out. Boom. An officer shot the woman. And then they made entry into the home. Right. And they discovered she had died from the gunshot wound. Several other guns were also found inside the home. According to the chief. He said, I don't know exactly what she was saying, but she was threatening officers. Yeah, that you threaten officer with a gun, motherfucker. You get shot.
Unknown
Say anything?
Woody Everton
Yeah, wanted to know. I mean, I'm saying she.
Unknown
He didn't know what she was saying, but just.
Woody Everton
Yeah, yeah.
Unknown
That didn't have to be the threat.
Woody Everton
He knows. Officer said, yeah, she Pointed a gun and said it was going to kill her. And they were probably close enough or whatever. It was escalating, not de escalating after all these hours and, and they felt threatened enough to shoot her and kill her. And guess what? They did. And they. And it is what it is. So the officer fires weapon as a 30 year veteran with the SWAT team, so he's no rookie. And no additional information has been shared, et cetera, but it is what it is. So here's public service announcement 10 10. If you point a firearm at the police, especially at the SWAT team or now politically correct special response team, you pointed at them, they already got snipers on your ass by this time. They've been negotiating with you all night. You pointed at them and they probably, they probably were getting close enough, getting close to trying to bridge the gap, establishing that connection or whatever. And she just pops up and points it at him and says I'm going to kill you. Well, guess what? Boom, you're dead.
Unknown
Well, I know. And then the uncertainty of she's running outside and inside, where's she going to go next?
Woody Everton
And you're only going to put up with it for so long.
Unknown
Exactly.
Woody Everton
And, and I've been there numerous of them and a lot of them thankfully ended up end it peacefully because the tactics work. But I tell you right now, you fire a gun or, or a gunshot is fired, you're coming in.
Unknown
So when you were on the SWAT.
Woody Everton
And I don't want to give away.
Unknown
All their no, no, no, no, no, no. So you, let's just say you go on a call and it ends up being you need the SWAT team, but you are the SWAT team too. So how do you handle that at that?
Woody Everton
The same thing. You always carried your gear with you and when you're your team leader got on the scene, they, the other deputies will pull back and you're either placed up or probably if you were the first one on the scene, you're giving all the information to the team leader and you'll be with them.
Unknown
Okay.
Woody Everton
So anyway, don't do it or you might get shot. Yeah, well there you have it.
Unknown
That's true. I wouldn't do it.
Woody Everton
I Forget that this YouTube camera is here all the time. Y' all used to see some of my outfits that I wear and my hair and like that. It'd be on tick tock too.
Unknown
It was safe with me on June 30th, I'm going back to June 3rd, all my stories. Some bad stuff happened in the news that day. There was a road rage incident. And North Carolina, sorry, in Cary, North Carolina. And so they're on the Cary Parkway, on Route 1 near Cary Parkway. And Charles Edward Stevenson Jr. He's 20, he opened fire on a Ford F150, which was a. And in that Ford F150 was a man traveling with his wife and his five year old daughter Emma. And Emma was hit in the leg by the bullet and then it lodged into her sippy cup. So it went straight through her leg into her sippy cup. So her aunt Aubrey Allison described Emma, when they were talking about her as a bundle of joy and angel and called the incident heartbreaking. And Emma went, underwent emergency surgery and now is in physical therapy. And she's got four to six months of rehab. But Stevenson was initially charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle. And on July 2, prosecutors upgraded the charges to assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill, inflicting serious injury. And he appeared in court on July 3, and the judge denied bond, citing public safety concerns. And he has his next hearing on on July 23rd. Isn't that crazy?
Woody Everton
It is crazy. I think about like when WL had his tubes, the triple surgery when he was a little man and he had that bad anesthesia reaction and they gave him to me afterwards and he was little and it was everything, and I was big then. It was everything. I could hold him down. They were like, you can go now. I'm like you, but I couldn't imagine holding your kid like that when they've been shot.
Unknown

I recently took the Truage test from trudiagnostic and discovered my biological age. And let me tell you, it's completely changed the way I look at my health. Biological age is a powerful indicator of how fast you're aging on the inside, and it directly predicts your risk for serious diseases. Here's why that matters. Research shows that if your biological age is even just five years older than than your actual age, your risk of developing diseases like cancer or heart disease can jump by as much as 30 to 50%. That's a big deal. And the amazing part is nearly 90% of biological aging is actually in our control. It all comes down to lifestyle, habits and your environment. When I got my results back, I was honestly shocked. My chronological age is 55, but my biological OMICM age came back at 63, meaning I'm biologically about eight years older.
Woody Everton
Than my actual age.
Unknown
That was definitely not what I expected, and honestly, it was a big wake.
Woody Everton
Up call for me.
Unknown
The true age test didn't just give me one number. It broke down how quickly each of my organ systems are aging. And it was eye opening. I found out that my liver and musculoskeletal system are actually aging slower, which was encouraging. But my heart, brain, lungs and metabolic systems were all aging faster than they should be. I also learned that my pace of aging is 1.1, meaning for every year that passes, I'm aging 1.1 biological years. And that can increase my risk of chronic disease and even shorten my lifespan if I don't make changes. This test really pushed me to make some adjustments. The personalized strategies they shared from top scientists at Harvard and Yale and included focusing more on strength and resistance training to support my heart and metabolic health. The best part? The test itself was super easy and convenient I did it right at home. No doctor visits or big needles, just a quick painless finger prick and I mailed it back in a prepaid package and got a detailed online report in about two to three weeks. Fast and totally hassle free. Well, we're going to Dover Township, Ohio.
Woody Everton
Okay, you're not gonna like this one involves another kid. We not throwing shade on any kind of animal. But the authorities in Ohio say a pit bull fatally attacked a one year old girl last week. So according to the Tuscaroras County Sheriff Orvis Campbell, deputies got called out to a house on Lake Road regarding a dog attack on just before 6pm on July 2. Right. Now, Campbell said in the initial 911 call, when they called in, the dispatchers couldn't hear anyone. They couldn't hear. They're like, hello, 911, what's your emergency? Right. But eventually they, they, they call back and you know they're going to keep doing that and the cops are coming. You call 91 1. It's the law. They gotta come. Yeah, but they connected and with a mom who answered the phone and she said the family dog had killed her baby. So the little girl was identified as Blakely Blosser. Look at her picture. Shoving it on YouTube, y'. All.
Unknown
That's like somebody attacking Ember.
Woody Everton
I know. Authorities don't say that. Authorities said she was pronounced dead at the scene. And Campbell says it, it was about as terrible an ordeal as we come across in a long time. So the mom says told the cops that she was walking inside the home with the child when the dog attack happened. And deputy said they saw defensive wounds on the mother who said she tried to stop the attack. And according to the chief, the mother told them that the dog did not have a history of attacking anyone but had shown signs of aggressions to other dogs. So she, she said the father who is not home during the time attack later euthanized the animal himself. That he did. Right. They said we'll hold on to every memory, every picture and every video forever in our hearts. Blakely was deeply love. And the case is going to be reviewed by prosecutors but they don't think any charges are going to be filed. That's just another sad. But don't be crying all the time. This is a crime news show. I hate to see you cry, you know that. All right.
Unknown
I was trying to hold it back. Sorry, I just can't imagine the last.
Woody Everton
Well, don't think about it. This is, this is, we do murder stories all day long. I know, I'm not trying to be insensitive but y', all, I hate to see my wife cry. I don't think I'm wrong for that.
Unknown
Let's go, go on to Terrell, Texas or Terrell, Texas.
Woody Everton
What kind of story?
Unknown
And we have a multi vehicle collision that occurred on June 28th on Interstate 20 around 2:40 and it involved several 18 wheelers and passenger vehicles. So Alexis Osmani Gonzalez Campiani, who's 27 years old, was a semi truck driver and, and he told police that he fell asleep at the wheel and his rig crashed into a Ford F150 carrying the McKellar family. The McKellar family is consisted of Sean who was the dad, Zabar who's The mom, a 15 year old son named Cason, 20 year old daughter named Evan, and Evan survived. And then there was a 79 year old grandfather named Billy. And then there was two other 18 wheelers involved and three additional vehicles, more vehicles were hit in the chain reaction including a Jeep, Compass, Ford Mustang, a Honda and it was just like a pow wow, you know. But the victims, the McKellar family that I just listed lost four members. Sean, Zabar, Kayson and Billy. And they were all returning from a trip in East Texas. And Evan, which was the 20 year old girl, she was the one that survived but she was critically injured and she at this time is in intensive care. But in addition to the McKellar family, Nicole Gregory was in a separate vehicle and she also died. She was 49 years old and from Dallas. So the charges, Gonzalez Campiani now faces five counts of manslaughter, one for each person that he killed and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. And he is currently jailed at the Kauffman in Kauffman county pending bail. And it was just, you know, a mass. Obviously a mass casualty. Medical professionals, including off duty nurses Tara and Thomas Flores, responded heroically. They were on the road. They. And they extinguished fires, they helped the victims, and they offered them comfort in their final moments. And unfortunately, you are very aware of comforting people in their final moments.
Woody Everton
Yeah, that's fucked up. Especially when it goes for a couple days.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
Fortunately, a lot of people are aware of the same thing.
Unknown
You're right.
I was thinking of you holding that child's head in the truck.
Woody Everton
Oh, I was thinking. I was thinking about my daddy.
Unknown
Well, no, you were.
Woody Everton
Yeah. I've held a lot of people as they died. Cried, unfortunately. I don't think. I don't. I don't really think about him too much until I wasn't even thinking about him then. Yeah. I ever tell you about the only time. Well, not the only time I cried, but. Well, I'm gonna go into it. The little boy got run over in the middle of the country. But it was at a bridge and they were swimming, the family swimming. And it was his birthday. I think it was like eight or nine. And I was the first one on the scene. And he was crossing from one side of the bridge to other. Like, didn't swim under the bridge. And he got run over. And he was laying there. Of course, my brother got killed like that.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And that me up, I guess, like I went home that day. It fucked me up.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And the, you know, the parents there, all his brothers, sisters there, and he's. He's run the fuck over. People are pulling up, stopping this in the middle of nowhere, country road and getting out. Just Google really, before cell phones and had cameras on them, but they were just looky lose. And I lost my.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And the being a deaf supervisor had to come and he sent me home. Like I was going off on the people who were just looky looking.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
Let's go to Milwaukee. Milwaukee. Milwaukee. That's one beer. I do not drink. Milwaukee's best. We'll call it the Beast.
Unknown
I think of Laverne and Shirley, but.
Woody Everton
Yeah, well, Naya Vasquez and Ezekiel. Ezekiel Rivera never got to see their 20s. They were 18 years old and 15 year old. 15 years old. And they were shot to death on Christmas day as they waited in the car to get a bag of marijuana, which they had. They had a dealer coming to deliver to them. But Yeah, I remember the case we did about that where the guy's head was still smoking. Same Thing drug deal going wrong, they're going to rob them. So prosecutors say that Quinn Quinterres is also in his teens, was one of the two men who pulled up to Naya and Exile. It's E X, Z I E E L. Exile in another car. And surprise the pair. Well, Morris who pulled up in that extra car and he lived and the other ones didn't. And Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey a. Wagner on July 8th sentenced Morse to five years behind bars. And he also must serve five years of extended supervision when his prison term is over. And Morse was originally charged in January with two counts of first degree reckless homicide. As a party to a crime in the shooting desk, he pled guilty to aiding and abetting a felon moments before the jury selection got underway in his trial. Just like Coburger.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
Another man, Jeremiah and Taylor, who prosecutors actually think pulled the trigger, was also charged with homicide. But he ran like a little. And after eight months, he's still on the run. So now in Wisconsin, first degree intentional homicide is a class B felony that carries a maximum sentence of up to 60 years in prison. That's not enough. I agree, and I love Wisconsin. But on the other hand, the penalty for harboring or abating a felon can vary depending on the severity of the underlying felony committed by the person being aided. Which to me, this is pretty fucking serious. Two people were dead, so. But a class G felony carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $25,000 fine. Guess what in Louisiana, that's called? Louisiana Revised Statute 1427. It's attempt to or. Or taken a part of your fucking. You get the same charge. Yeah, so. But the mom spoke to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Melinda Rivera, and she expressed frustration over the deal that was offered Morris. And Morris will be 23 years old when he's freed. She said exile will never be be back. Do I feel like this charge is accurate and fair? No. The trauma of seeing my son in a bag on Christmas forever ruined everything. And Christmas will never be the same because of him and Jeremiah Taylor. Well, I agree with you, Mom. According to the criminal complaint, surveillance cameras in the neighborhood recorded footage of a white Kia parking just before the intersection on Christmas Day. And at some point, a black Malibu that was traveling across the intersection in a light skinned male leaned out the front passenger window. And that person fired a gun multiple times at the Kia before speeding off. And neighbors came out to help the dying victims. Right. This almost high noon. This is around 11:25am after hearing the gunshots of course. Well, Exile died on the scene and now he was taking the hospital where she died. So. Investigators said one of the men in the KIA with Naya and Exile had earlier arranged to buy marijuana from another man before the shooting occurred. The Malibu was later found burned and in a park somewhere in the city. That's crazy. Listen to this. There have been 71 homicides reported in Milwaukee in 2025 as of July. And the. At this, the same time a year ago, there were 67 homicides and there were 132 homicides for all of 2024. That. That's crazy.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
That's a lot of people. Milwaukee, you wouldn't think.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
Would have all that killing going. That's, that's, that's one every other day, literally. So on average. But anyway, they said a bag of pot shouldn't have been the reason my son lost his life, you know.
Unknown
Yeah.
And they burned the car.
Woody Everton
Yeah. Because. Well, I don't know. I guess they. They probably stole or something anyway. But the kids buying pot or going to sell pot or whatever. Doesn't sound like they even got the pot.
Unknown
No.
Woody Everton
Or money or whatever they were doing. But go ahead.
Unknown
Well, I have a question, because you were saying, like, in Louisiana, the charge.
Woody Everton
Would have been everybody in that fucking vehicle that showed up for the rob. They would have got the murder charge.
Unknown
So Louisiana prisons look like everybody talks about how full they are.
Woody Everton
We have the highest incarceration rate.
Unknown
Right. But do you. I mean, obviously, in my opinion, it's because we have the struggle.
Woody Everton
If you and I. And you and I are about to leave here and go some. We're actually going southeastern to walk. Do a walk through with the, in the theater and, and do a sound check for the show and all that stuff and the camera people and all that. So. But on the way over there today, I said, when we get there, we go. We're going to take Crystal Hardison out back and we gonna rape her. All right. And say. And you say, okay. And we get there and I drag her out back and I rape her. You don't even rape participate. Right. You could just stay in a car.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And, and you can set Crystal up, come outside, take her outside, and a raper and Ali, guess what, you get the. You get accessory too, or an attempt or whatever. You guilty. And you go get just as much time as me.
Unknown
But in Wisconsin, that's not going to happen.
Woody Everton
That's what I just read to you.
Unknown
That's what I'm saying. Yeah. That's why Our incarceration rate so high is because we have so much string. More stringent laws.
Woody Everton
That would be a brilliant deduction, Inspector Kalisa.
Unknown
No, but people act dumbfounded and say that Louisiana is horrible and Louisiana has the horrible.
Woody Everton
Horrible. From a criminal justice standpoint, give a shit what they say. If they don't like it, they don't have to live here.
Unknown
I'm. I'm saying. I know. I'm just trying to grasp that and, and explain it to people because they think, oh, we're just full of criminals. Oh, sorry, we're just full of criminals. And that we are. We do, but we have stronger penalties. That's all I'm saying. I know you're looking at me like I'm crazy and I know it's Captain Obvious to you, but it's not Captain Obvious to everybody.
Woody Everton
And that's why I was sitting here thinking your brain runs on a different track than mine when it comes to criminal. And I get that. And you're right. A certain percentage of people are going to think the way that you think. I think.
Unknown
Okay.
Woody Everton
No, I'm not saying anything bad. I mean, I wouldn't have never thought of it like that. Yeah, I don't give a what they think about our people in our prison. That's what I think.
Unknown
Okay, we're just going to Michigan.
Woody Everton
All right. What has, what's happening in Michigan?
Unknown
There's some campers in South Lake Deser on a remote campsite and what hopefully.
Woody Everton
Not camping in downtown Detroit.
Unknown
Well, it was a real Detroit. When I get into the campsite, it's very remote. Like it's not just like we're going to go in that field and camp.
Woody Everton
And that feels still remote. We're in the middle of the country.
Unknown
It's true. Well, okay. It's very remote and they're on the Isle Royale national park. And there was. The campers heard some alarming sounds like screams, loud bangings on the latrine doors.
Woody Everton
And this they have.
Unknown
That's what I'm thinking. But when I read. Well, anyway, frightened. This frightened some hikers and they fled the campground in the middle of the night to find cell service and call for help. So park rangers launched an 11 mile overnight hike reaching the site. And that's why it's very remote to me, because it's an 11 mile hike to get into it. There might be latrines up there.
Woody Everton
Okay, I'm gonna leave it alone. Go ahead.
Unknown
But the park rangers had to. They couldn't do a four wheeler. They couldn't get helicopter.
Woody Everton
Like you don't know that. It might have been. It might have been because it was raining or something, but go ahead.
Unknown
Okay. And they discovered two bodies around.
Woody Everton
And I'm pretty sure a helicopter doesn't care. It can fly more than 11 miles and it doesn't care how rural or remote the site is.
Unknown
So when they get there, two bodies are found around 3am the victims, the two bodies were John Baird, who was 60 and he was an engineer in Michigan and his son Bradley Baird. And he worked as a medical student in Chicago and was preparing to become a physician. And John was described as a dedicated professional and father. And Bradley was known for being academically accomplished and deeply committed to medicine. But what the investigation has found out is the Kilwinol county medical examiner ruled both deaths as gunshot wounds and authorities are investigating this as a possible murder suicide. But it's still unclear who died first and toxicology tests are pending. But. And so the final ruling of the manner of deaths is forthcoming. But the FBI and the National Park Service are also involved in the case and have requested local authorities to release. To limit the release of certain information to, to protect the investigation. So that I just. I mean, an 11 mile rugged hike on no road self services is. Sounds pretty rugged and remote to me.
Woody Everton
I'm sure it is, baby. I'm sure it's so rugged that nobody else has ever camped there. All those people.
Unknown
I didn't say no one had been there. I'm just saying it takes a lot to get there. I'm saying I would never have gone there because. And I'm not doing an 11 mile hike to get to someplace I have.
Woody Everton
No doubt about that. All right.

Woody Everton
All right, so yesterday we brought y' all a horrible story about a baby dying. Inside was a car, right?
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
And manufacturing plant. And we actually had some people posted on that on maybe it was day before, but it was this week posted on it. And we're going to Cobb County, Georgia, which all of you lifers are very familiar with. That's where hashtag justice for Haley. And I say hashtag just for Haley is coming because the new madam D. A took up the case, talked to Ms. Barbara numerous times herself. All right? And she's an ex cop, and she's like, oh, this is pretty fucked up. And. But we're going to do what we can do. We're going to look into it. And. And y', all, patience is key. You don't want this rushed, right? So the. We're going to Cobb County, Georgia. And there were two young kids locked in a car in a mall parking lot. Don't start crying. Don't start crying. They were locked in a mall parking lot. And one of the posts this morning, you know, I said on the show nobody pays. And the reason I know nobody pays attention to the surroundings because I'm the. Used to be the motherfucker sitting in a car doing surveillance. And people will walk right by you and never see. I mean, you lay back in your seat. I'm talking about people. I've. I've been doing surveillance. And people get into a car next to me and then I'm surveilling and they never see. And so but one the person one life was posted. I'll always check the parking lot. And I said, that's a good habit. Right? Right. Well, somebody else was paying attention because they heard two kids crying and they go to the car and then they did the right thing and they called 91 1. And the Cobb County Police department actually has body cam footage of this. And. And this happened on June 4th. All right, so the officers arrived at the Cumberland mall after the woman called 911 at around 1pm to report a little boy and a little girl trapped inside a hot car in the parking lot outside Dick's Sporting Goods. So Cobb county police has the body camera footage of it, but they also released a 911 call. And a woman can be heard saying that the children Were very young inside the car alone, and they were crying. She said the windows are cracked, but I don't think that's right. We just came out of Dicks and I heard kids crying, she told the dispatcher. Now, the officers arrived quickly and they unlocked the car after shattering the driver's window. And they pulled the children out. Both were in the back seat and neither of them was restrained properly. So. Well, the owner of the car, Jaquan Dixon, he decides he's done shopping inside of Dick's and he walks outside and they get his ass arrested. And police are charged him with with two felony counts of second degree child cruelty. But it's not clear if he's a dad or not. But police said Dixon calls cruel or excessive physical or mental pain to children under 18 by leaving them inside a vehicle without air conditioner or 41 minutes. According to the rest warrant. You know how they did? They went inside, pulled the security camera. What time you walk in, what time you go out? And this is what's interesting, and it goes back to her story the other day. We're talking about the heat in cars. So anyway, it was discussed. I'm gonna get to that. It was discovered that Dixon went into the mall at 12:24pm According to the body cam footage. And officer said they arrived at the mall at 103 shortly after the 911 call. The high that day was 87 degrees. But check this out. Police said they used an infrared thermometer and they shot it inside the car.
Unknown
87 degrees outside.
Woody Everton
It was 117 degrees inside the car. That telling y' all, cracked windows don't do shit. Okay. If it was 97, it had been 130 degrees inside a car or hotter. So they said a big thank you to the concerned citizens who call 91 1. Your quick action is the reason these kids are safe today. That's according to Cobb County Police. They wrote on their Facebook, you saw something and you did something and that made all the difference. Yeah, Right. Then Dixon got his ass booked into the Cobb County Jail, which is the same one. If you're a patron of convict, you've seen it. Where can Brooks. Brooks fucking Cleary was booked into. And we got all those videos put up for patron convicts on a $10,000 bond which he posted the next day. And. And he was released. But thankfully those kids are alive. Somebody had their head on a swivel. They saw it all. Good. Well, I mean.
Unknown
I mean, they're perfect. And thank goodness they were crying.
Woody Everton
87 outside, 117 inside. Yeah, it's 97. 107. That's 30 degrees hotter.
Unknown
It's ridiculous. It's really scary. And also he could shop in peace.
Woody Everton
Oh yeah. I mean just leave the kids in the car.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
So there's a lot of other stories that are attached to this. Like mom who lost son warns parents about child hot car deaths as heat wave comes. And then there's another one. Maybe I'll just read this one real quick. It's time for family matters floor In Florida on Thursday a dad got arrested because he left his toddler inside a hot car while he got a haircut and a drink. This according to cops. So Scott Allen Gardner, he's 33 charged aggravated manslaughter of a child and child neglect causing great bodily harm and the death of his 18 month old son Sebastian. This according to Volusia Sheriff's office. They I mean I could read you all the But Gardner son was left helpless in a hot truck for more than three hours during the afternoon of June 6 while he got a haircut and went drinking inside the Hanky Pankies lounge.
Unknown
Oh that seems appropriate.
Woody Everton
Right? And they added that the medical personnel estimated the body temperature of the baby the body temperature was 111 degrees not how hot it was inside the car. That's what he roasted to now you ever had a fever? I had fever as high as 104 before and you know how bad it is 111. Yeah, you'd be dead. So anyway the dad gardener who was taken into custody they got him later on after they worked the scene. This is kind of a little bit of sweetness. The same cop who responded to the scene and had to deal with the dead baby he actually got to put the handcuffs on the dad later on so good for you sir. That's what he felt like on the inside. What he really wanted to do was punch that in his mouth. Oh yeah. Come on man. The and it's not that big of a difference. Dude going in Dick's Sporting goods and said he 7 degrees. That's still a shitty thing to do because you just don't know.
Unknown
Yeah.
Woody Everton
This went and got a haircut.
Unknown
Went to a bar drinking.
Yeah.
Three hours.
Yeah.
Woody Everton

Woody Everton
That's correct. The I am not going to call you if you don't leave me your name or say, hey, hey, Woody, I got some information out of that. The if you just call and don't leave a message, I'm not calling them back.
Unknown
Yeah.
Or just say, hey, call me.
Woody Everton
I'm not doing that. You know why? Because there's bad people too out there. And you can say. You can call and say, hey, I want to remain anonymous and I want to talk to you and I'll call you and I'll listen to you. All right? And I may run with your or I may not. But don't I know the. The bad people listen, and that's okay. If I was a murderer, I'd be listening to Woody Overton coming after me, too.

Real Life Real Crime: True Crime Time For July 10, 2025
Hosted by Woody Overton and Cindy Everton
In this gripping episode of True Crime Time For released on July 10, 2025, hosts Woody Overton and Cindy Everton delve into a series of harrowing true crime stories. The episode prominently features updates on the Kohberger case, tragic instances of child neglect, and unsettling crime developments in Milwaukee. Throughout the episode, the hosts offer their expert insights, personal anecdotes, and engage in candid discussions that underscore the dark realities of these cases.
The episode kicks off with a deep dive into the Kohberger case, a subject close to Woody's heart. Woody discusses the intricacies of the case, highlighting procedural aspects and the psychological profile of the accused.
Woody Overton [07:12]: "I read about Kohberger. He wrote detailed confessions but omitted the brutality of his crimes. It's chilling how he underestimated the system, thinking he could outlive his actions."
Woody emphasizes the importance of thorough sentencing and the potential repercussions of underestimating criminal behavior.
Woody Overton [08:40]: "The sentencing is until October. I speculate that victim impact statements might influence this, but it's still uncertain."
The hosts address multiple tragic cases of child neglect, shedding light on the systemic failures that lead to such heartbreaking outcomes.
An eight-year-old boy in North Thailand was discovered in deplorable conditions, showcasing neglect that went beyond mere oversight. Found living in a dilapidated house with his drug-addicted mother and brother, the child exhibited severe psychological trauma.
Cindy Everton [09:06]: "The boy couldn't speak and barked like a dog, indicating profound psychological distress."
Authorities have charged the mother and brother with drug-related offenses, while the child receives care at a specialized home.
Tragedy struck in Dover Township, Ohio, where a pit bull fatally attacked a one-year-old girl.
Woody Overton [29:59]: "The little girl, Blakely Blosser, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family is left devastated, and the case is under review by prosecutors."
The incident underscores the complexities surrounding pet ownership and public safety, as the dog's aggressiveness had been previously noted only towards other animals.
In Cobb County, Georgia, two young children were found locked inside a hot car in a mall parking lot. The swift action of bystanders and law enforcement prevented a potential tragedy.
Woody Overton [53:20]: "With a high of 87 degrees outside and 117 inside the car, cracked windows were ineffective. Quick thinking saved these children's lives."
Another related case in Florida involves a father charged with aggravated manslaughter after leaving his toddler in a hot truck for over three hours, resulting in the child's death.
Cindy Everton [55:58]: "Leaving an 18-month-old in a car for three hours while getting a haircut and drinking is unforgivable."
Milwaukee faces a surge in violent crimes, with recent incidents highlighting systemic issues within the community.
On Christmas Day, 2025, 18-year-old Ezekiel Rivera and 15-year-old Naya Vasquez were shot to death while awaiting a marijuana delivery. The perpetrators, Quinn Quinterres and Jeremiah Taylor, targeted the duo over what appeared to be a drug-related dispute.
Woody Overton [37:50]: "Judging the sentencing, Morris received five years, which many feel is insufficient given the loss of two young lives."
Judges and prosecutors face scrutiny over the lenient charges, sparking debates about the adequacy of the legal system in addressing such heinous crimes.
The episode highlights alarming statistics, with 71 homicides reported in Milwaukee by July 2025, surpassing previous years.
Woody Overton [41:31]: "Milwaukee's homicide rate is staggering—one every other day. It's a stark reflection of the ongoing violence in the city."
The hosts discuss potential causes, including drug-related conflicts and insufficient legal deterrents.
Towards the end of the episode, Woody announces an upcoming live event at Southeastern scheduled for July 19th. He encourages listeners to participate in a ticket giveaway contest, fostering community engagement and support for law enforcement initiatives.
Woody Overton [04:26]: "We're giving away five sets of two tickets. Follow us on YouTube and TikTok, send us a message, and you might win a spot at the live event."
The hosts emphasize the importance of advocacy and the role of their loyal listeners ("lifers") in supporting cold case investigations and ongoing criminal justice efforts.
This episode of True Crime Time For offers a comprehensive exploration of recent and ongoing crime cases, emphasizing the human impact behind the headlines. Woody and Cindy provide a balanced mix of factual reporting, personal reflections, and community-focused initiatives, underscoring their dedication to justice and advocacy within the true crime realm.
Listeners are left with a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the critical role that vigilance and swift action play in preventing further tragedies.
