Cindy Overton
All. Saturday, July 19th, Southeastern Louisiana University. Live and on stage. And it's a hell of a story. And go get your tickets. Yes, go get your tickets before they're gone. And we got lifers coming in from all over the United States. We got all kinds of special stuff. Thank you to Southeastern Responsor letting us have the show there and the biggest theater on on campus. It's awesome. And we love y'. All and thank you. Walcorn's Bistro Bar and bistro where I'll be bartending Friday night. And y' all come on down and see me and you get a free appetizer. And we're gonna. All the lifers are gonna be hanging out from all over the country, getting some good south Louisiana food and great cocktails and drinks. We love y' all and want to say thank you to McAlauer Whitetail Adventures for donating two VIP tickets, which the drawings is got got to be about tomorrow Thursday, so people have time enough to get in. But y', all, this is not a, you know, go like and follow and all that stuff. One, this is straight up donation. We appreciate it. McLare Whitetail Adventures. Shane and Tracy McBride. So somebody's getting 200 worth of tickets and the VIP experience.
And that's an experience.
It is.
What Walk Ons is providing for us is amazing.
Yep.
And then just the time with you.
People love Walk On. Food is fire. And they're catering the VIP event. It's gonna be some gumbo and some boudin balls and some wraps and different stuff. Y', all, you're gonna love the food. If you come Friday night, you get the full menu.
Yeah. And the appetizer is for a later, later visit. I don't want people to think, where's my free appetizer? When they show up, you know, so.
It'S gonna Be fire. We're gonna be staying at the Home to Sweets Hilton. Use your code RLRC if you want. And that's where we're all going to be. So we'll be there Friday and Saturday night for sure. But the show is going to be fire. It's a horrible story. Of course. All my stories, I guess, are horrible in some way or another, but this one is, like, bad. And it's going to be, look, it's cash only bars. Some restrictions the university has on it. They can't whatever on campus. But the. So bring your cash for your drinks. Alcohol sales will be there. I'm actually going to do an intermission in the middle of the show because this one's a little bit longer and give you a chance to get up and get. You can get up and get beers or drinks whenever you want to. That's not going to bother me on stage. But we'll do a little intermission. So everybody gets a little break. So. And then the VIP is after. But I'm going to do another drop for to get it out by tomorrow Thursday. So that being said, let's get down to some true crime time for Wednesday. And y', all, hashtag just for Bradley. Don't forget that we dropped two episodes last week. Please continue to call in your tips. They're rolling in that 313RLRC tip hashtag just for Bradley. Also, you can use that tip line from a Sparrow Blunt's case. And next week we will have episodes that I recorded with Sheriff Jason Ard on his podcast behind the Scenes. And it's. It's really good. I need to listen to it. On Ms. Barbara Blunt's case. Let's bring justice for these families. Okay? So that being said, I've got to jump in because we're late on this. Y' all were late, but we're not late because we're recording a little bit earlier. Busy weekend, all that stuff. The. Another bad, bad tragedy happened on Sunday. Sin. And we had. We had already recorded before then, but I'm gonna tell everybody about it. All right, y', all, we're gonna go out to Kentucky and hearts and prayers to everybody on this. Two women were shot and killed at a Kentucky church. Straight ticket hell, y'. All. I mean, you just. You can kill people anywhere. A lot of these people go in churches and kill people. I'll never get it by a suspect.

Who ran like a little bitch after.
Cindy Overton
Shooting a state trooper at another location. And so the suspect shot a Kentucky state police trooper near the Bluegrass Airport in Lexington, then ran to a church where he then shot four people before police shot and killed him. And this is according to the Lexington Police Department, y'. All. So the suspect the is identified as 47 year old Guy House and two of the churchgoers, both women were killed. The other two victims who were both men were taken to the hospital for treatment. One of them is in critical condition while the other is in stable condition. They said something like this has a huge impact on our community. According to Lexington Police Chief Lawrence Weathers. They said the incident occurred at approximately 11:36am on Sunday when the suspect shot a trooper, then ran like a little bitch. That's according to Kentucky State Police. The suspect shot the trooper on Terminal Drive adjacent to the Bluegrass Airport. Then he ran like a little bit little bitch and he went straight to the Richmond Road Baptist Church. And the gunman was able to escape by carjacking a vehicle. Officers were able to track the suspect's vehicle leading them to the church. He shot the trooper, carjacks the vehicle and they I guess had GPS on her low jack, whatever. And so he goes to church and that's where he shot the four individuals. The two women who were 72 year old Beverly Gumm and her daughter 34 year old Christina Combs. And they were, they were pronounced dead at the scene, y'. All. And inside the church and like I told you, the two men take it to the hospital. The two men were Gum and Cones as husbands. So to kill the mom and daughter and shot the husbands and Gum was the church pastor. Right. So Gum's daughters told ABC News that House targeted their families, specifically their sister Angel Rutherford, with whom he has three children. What a piece of shit. This said he came here looking for her. That's according to Days of Rutherford. And the family said Hal showed up to the church, opened fire and stormed into the church from the back door and asked for Angel. When told that Angel Rutherford wasn't at the church, House blurted out someone's gonna have to die. And Gum had eight children and Combs had four biological children along with a fifth she was raising. The trooper who got shot is also receiving medical attention and they say he's in stable condition. Thank God, right? The bad dude was shot by the cops who responded to and and they sent him down to Murda Bayou at that scene, thankfully. So an official brief on the investigation told ABC News that the suspect had a history of mental health, drug and anger issues. He had a domestic situation with an ex girlfriend who then filed protective orders against him. Now, the coroner, Gary Gin, said the.

Were related biologically or have been friends for many years. They said it's a tighten up group of people. Lexington police said that officers had temporary closed roads nearby, and they remain in the area until the investigation is complete. Y', all, by now, when you're hearing this, you'll know it's complete. And the governor, of course, said, you know, he's heartbroken. And violence like this has no place in our commonwealth or country. Kentucky. Let's stand strong together and support our Lexington neighbors during this difficult time. So. So that's horrible.
That is horrible.
Another just idiot tragedy. And like I always said, you want me? I mean, straight ticket to hell. Straight ticket to hell. I'm gonna go in God's house. These people leave this guy's house. I'm gonna go in there and just rain down pain. Evil.
Yeah.
So we're there. He's burning, Father.
I mean, the man was the pastor there. I mean, they were leaders of the church.
Yeah. Left a bunch of victims behind and doing good.
I mean, she was raising a kid that wasn't her own, too. Right.
And a lot of kids.
A lot of.
And she didn't have kids. It's horrible. Yeah. Your turn.
Well, I've got. I. I mean, in. In the world of crime, it's. We might need to come up with something for this. It's a cold case.
Okay.
So in the world of crime, this might be, I guess, a good thing.
If they solved it, it's a victory, right?
So in spring of 2009, a man was. Oh, well, we're going to California, and we're in Union City, California, at the Parkside Apartments, and we're going all the way back to 2009, and there was a man digging through the dumpster. And as he's digging through the dumpster, he thinks he's found a baby doll. And when he looks further, he realizes that the baby doll is actually a baby. And so he noticed that she still had her umbilical cord attached, and she was laying by some bloody pantyhose and a Costco receipt. So 911's called, and the Union City police officers actually, like, were obviously heartbroken by this, and they gave her a name. They gave the baby a name while they're working the case, and they named her Matea Esperanza, which means gift from God in Hebrew and hope in Spanish. Despite investigations in 2000 by all the authorities, the case ended up going cold. And no suspect was ever Charged, though Angela Onduto, who lived under the name of Angela Anderson in the Parkside Apartments at the time, was noted as a person of interest. So for 16 years, Matea's memory just was always in the back of the police officer's mind.
Never goes away.
They created a permanent grave marker for her in 2017, and they held memorial services. Don't start crying for her ever since. Every year they do that. So then a breakthrough came in 2025, and of course, you know what happened. Advances DNA. That's right. And that allowed the detectives to match evidence from 2009 to their person of interest, which was Angela onduto. She's now 46, and she lives in Denver. In May of this year, which would have been around the time of Matea's 16th birthday, Union City investigators traveled to Colorado and secured a DNA sample and confirmed the match. So on July 2, Denver police took Ontuto into custody and.
Took her into custody.
And she admitted to have given birth and home in 2009, drowning the baby shortly after delivery.
Colorado in California. California. I already know they got the death penalty.
Leaving her baby in the dumpster. And according to police, she expressed no remorse.
Yeah, fuck her.
Or acknowledged she ever intended to keep Matea. And the Costco receipt found with the infant contained her fingerprints, further linking her to the crime, obviously. But she confessed to it, too. So at present, Antuto is being held in Denver pending extradition to California for her formal murder charge under California Penal Code 187.
You give birth to a live human being and then you take it and you hold it underwater and drown it. Then you throw it in the dumpster. That person does not deserve to breathe. No California go for the death penalty.
Her totally no remorse.
Her. It's time for family matters. Almost had. You almost were crying in that one. But you probably about to cry when I read you this one. The. You know, we have so much social media, y'. All. I recently took the True Age Test from TRU Diagnostic and discovered my biological age. And let me tell you, it's completely changed the way I look at my health. Biological age is a powerful indicator of how fast you're aging on the inside, and it directly predicts your risk for serious diseases. Here's why that matters. Research shows that if your biological age is even just five years older than your actual age, your risk of developing diseases like cancer or heart disease can jump by as much as 30 to 50%. That's a big deal. And the amazing part is nearly 90% of biological aging is actually in our control. It all comes down to lifestyle, habits and your environment. When I got my results back, I was honestly shocked. My chronological age is 55, but my biological OMICM age came back at 63, meaning I'm biologically about eight years older than my actual age. That was definitely not what I expected and honestly, it was a big wake.
Cindy Overton
Up call for me.

The True Age test didn't just give me one number. It broke down how quickly each of my organ systems are aging. And it was eye opening. I found out that my liver and musculoskeletal system are actually aging slower, which was encouraging. But my heart, brain, lungs and metabolic systems were all aging faster than they should be. I also learned that my pace of aging is 1.1, meaning for every year that passes, I'm aging 1.1 biological years, and that can increase my risk of chronic disease and even shorten my lifespan if I don't make changes. This test really pushed me to make some adjustments. The personalized strategies they shared from top scientists at Harvard and Yale included focusing more on strength and resistance training to support my heart and metabolic health. The best part? The test itself was super easy and convenient. I did it right at home. No doctor visits or big needles, just a quick painless finger prick and I mailed it back in prepaid package and got a detailed online report in about.

That know about us. That's coming because hashtag just right. Like, where can I listen to the podcast? I can't find anywhere. Yeah, right. And then you didn't really look hard, but the. What else? Like six different Facebook pages and whatever, Whatever. One thing we don't do is Snapchat. No, I mean, I don't know a lot about Snapchat, but we do stories about Snapchat and we were going to Indiana and they had a mom and she Snapchat. Her name is Morgan D. Strap. She's Snapchat. But back in 2024, she got an email from Snapchat and told her her account had been permanently banned.
Probably rightfully so. What for I'm probably, probably sending horrible stuff to a young boy.
It's way worse than that.
Oh, gosh.
So they told her that her account had been permanently banned for online commercial sex transactions. But they didn't just ban the 32 year old woman. The app did the right thing and they called the cops.
Good.
You want to know why?
I do want to know why.
But because staff sent someone three photos of her seven month old daughter. Wait, wait, wait. I'm not done yet. And attach the message. You can her for 400 bucks. Half now, rest after. I'll send my address. I do live alone and her dad is not in the picture. I wish I could see Sydney's shaking her head.
I'm actually gonna throw up. I'm honestly.
I know. Physically ill. Yeah, so they said. Stomach churn. Actually beyond horrifying. What's even worse, this is really gonna make you throw up. This has seven other kids. Can you believe that? So got law enforcement got a hold of and probably had the same reaction with you without crying. And the FBI got it. And they showed up on this bitch's doorstep in November of last year. Stap claims she had been hacked and was upset about losing the photos of our children which she stored on the app and. But soon enough, cops do what they do and they find out she's full of.
Yeah.
So later that month, the Indiana Department of Child Services got involved. And they said the woman admitted to lying to FBI agents because she just wanted them to leave her alone. But you know what? You lied to a regular cop, you can get away with that. You lie to a fed, that's a charge all of its own. But the feds were already on to her. And pairing up with an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department in December, the FBI continued their investigation and they were able to get a search warrant and fully investigate Stapp's Snapchat account. Well, well, there they found selfies that had been saved fairly recently. Meaning she still had control over the account and it wasn't hacked at all. So they investigated and they conclude that the owner of the account sent over 7,000 messages and added over 400 friends in just a three day span. Earlier that month, she seemed to be trying to sell anything she could for some quick cash. Crazy.
And I know it wasn't for her kids. Buy groceries for her kids or clothes or.
According to WTT V, the local news outlet, these messages were all confirmed have been sent from one from a ping near Stapp's home after she had already claimed to be hacked. One message had seemingly been copied and pasted over 81 times. You want to know what it said? This is the message in quotations. Would you be interested in buying my nude so I can get baby diapers? Well, obviously she was willing to sell Far more than nude pics of herself.
Yeah.
So last Tuesday, according to court documents, Stat was officially arrested and charged with attempted child sex sexual trafficking which is a level two felony. And she got booked into the Marion County Jail and is being held on a $200,000 bond. There's no word as to what situation her kids are in right now, but I can guarantee the state has them. And I mean yeah, prayers for the kids. That's what matters. And God only imagines what happens. And this is. I'm showing it to YouTube. Y' all our YouTube videos come out a couple days after the podcast. That's business reasons this man 400 you can my daughter. That's. That's her words, not mine.
Yeah.
And send it out to the world. You can F her for 400 half now. Rest after. I'll send my address. I do. I do live alone. Her dad is not in the picture.
Yeah.
There you go. Bam. That's a family matters for them. That's just crazy as that is.
That's horrible.
I thought Snapchat deleted as soon as you. It does not. Must I do something?
I think there's way. I don't. I'm not even going to profess to know anything but that is what I understand. But I think you can save them. I think you can do screenshots and I think that you can like if you screenshot somebody on Snapchat, I do know this. They get alerted that someone took a screenshot of something. But I think you can have stories and memories that stay. I don't know.
Well, I'm a turn your frown upside down. Okay. We need to feel good. Right. It's time for family matters. And this was a little bit outside the box for true crime. Time for we're going to Minnesota. And then they got a nine year old who is alive today strictly and you can't call it anything but a miracle.
Okay.
All right. And this is time of year where we're getting ready for bow hunting and I'm disking the dove field and bow season starts right out after dove season and all that. But you know when you do archery it takes a lot of practice, a lot of patience. You got to shoot a lot and you know because you want to be ethical. Right. And it's hard as hell to kill a deer with a bow. So we're going In Minnesota, a nine year old son is alive today because of a straight up miracle in March gusts to start death starting was preparing to go hunting with his dad, Dave Deter D E T E R D I N G Deterdine. They were getting ready to go hunting and the nine year old slips on a patch of ice. And the bad part about that is he had an arrow tucked under his arm and when he slipped. Listen to this. When he slipped, the air that was tucked under his arm popped up and pierced the skull and went into his brain.
What are the chances of I.
None like me getting Bruce Losis. Not that you would ever believe could happen, but it happened. So. So the Gus, the nine year old pulls the ERA out himself, runs into the house and get his parents. And they couldn't believe what they saw. Now Abby, who's the targeting, told Cares boy Hubert that Gus had blood all over him. And she did her best to stay calm. She said, I was vacuum downstairs and Dave was getting dressed and Gus came in in a panic. Now his mom says she cleaned up this wound and they took him to the hospital. And he kept saying, mom, am I dying? Am I going to leave you? I don't want to leave you yet. And. And she said, and I'm like, gus, no, we're just getting stitches. But Gus's injury was a whole worse than anything they can imagine. They had no idea how deep the arrow had pierced into his fucking skull. So they were all airlifted to Children's Hospital in Minnesota. And after just a few hours, the doctors released them. Right. I guess they missed it, but then they returned a second time when he began vomiting. That's when doctors took scans, which they should have done the first time. Yeah, I mean you got airlifted in. And that's when they made the discovery. Dr. Ken Malonska of the Children's Hospital in Minnesota, he actually shared a picture of an image of Gus's brain. And the image showed the point of entry and a small piece of bone that carried the tip of the arrow. The doctor said he looked too normal. I would say, say in 28 years I've been to children's in Minnesota, I've never seen anything like this. And his parents agreed that they were shocked what they saw. They said it literally took my breath away. And I felt like sick to my stomach. The mom said I couldn't believe it. Not, not that far. What? And so the doctor showed the news organization Care K A R E. The the path that the error took started next next to Gus's nose and they ended up near the top of his skull. That was crazy. He said all the sensory and motor function is all coming through here. The doctor explained it came within 2cm. The exit in the skull. The boy was so close to a fatal injury. Had it hit that, that would have been death within minutes. That's what Dr. Molaska said. So the doctor also said that if he had seen the scan before hearing the story, he would have thought Gus died in the accident. But three months later, he's just the same as he was before the accident. And his parents believe that God saved him, saying, it is a miracle. And I know it's not a crime, but isn't that a good story?
That's a. Well, it is almost a crime.
I know what you're going to say.
I know. I won't say it.
No, go ahead.
Because they weren't thorough in the beginning, and the parents had to be persistent. And we have learned so many times you have to advocate for yourself. Like when you had 40 pound or more fluid on you, and I. The doctor didn't know you, and I said, what are we going to do about all this fluid? And she looks at you and says, oh, he looks. He looks normal. He looks healthy. No, I literally had to say, when he lays down, he's so thin, it looks like Jesus on the cross. And I. I mean, that's the only thing that. And she went. She looked at me. And then we found out. I mean, but that's not even one.
Of a million things the doctors have gotten wrong.
Same thing with me.
But you know what happened to Jackie when that doctor kicked us out of the emergency room. Wouldn't even let us see her. But I still believe, you know, those doctors are trying to do their best, and this is a freak thing. And they were like, there's no way. Yeah, and. But good. The boys alive.
I have to tell a very quick story of something I saw on TikTok the other night. And it was what I pictured you when Jesus held you. And this boy, he's a young teenager, and somebody cry. I'm not going to. I'm not going to cry. The family's recording him. He's in the hospital. And he has this glazed look over his eyes and. And like, amazement, awe. Like, just like I've seen the most wonderful thing in the world. And he's talking, and he's talking to Jesus and he's telling Jesus how beautiful he is and how warm he feels and how beau. Like just how beautiful heaven is. And then he's greeting people that no one can see. And he's like, but, you know, Jesus, take care of my. He had lost his daddy. And then his daddy shows up. It's just like I don't know. It's this beautiful, beautiful thing. But all of these hospice nurses join, like, go in and comment because people were like, he's making this up. I can't believe this. Mother's filming this. He doesn't know what he's talking about. They need to get him more help. And these hospice nurses are like, no, like you. We have seen our patients do this in their final moments. Like, this is real. And he don't break that because the mom kept rubbing him and saying, come back. It's okay. And they're like, don't break that connection with God. He will feel that forever and know that love and reminds me so much of.
Yeah. And y', all, this is not a religious show. We're just. Yeah, I have a relationship, not a religion. But they're not trying to shove anything down anybody's story. She's just telling you what she saw on Tick Tock right now. Tell us a crime.
Well, you wrote a whole book about.
It, but it's not. Not on the podcast. Go ahead. But you're right. I believe what I believe, and I stand in it. If you don't like it, and if you don't like me because of what I believe, then that's. That's. It's not racist. It's bullshit. I don't judge you for you doing you, but go ahead.
So when.
What are we doing?
We are doing a story about Mary Lou Retton. There's only one way of putting it. For some that might not know because they're so young. Mary Lou Retton was an Olympic gold medalist in gymnastics.
The box of the Wheaties. She was, you know, the cutest little thing in the world. I had a crush on her, and she was. She was a beast.
I wanted to be a gymnast, a gymnast just like her. And I was kicked off the team because I.
Can'T cross the street without falling.
But she's now 57 years old, and I never knew this. I thought she was from Houston because that's where her training was. I don't know Virginia. But she is. She's from Virginia. So she was involved in an incident on May 17th of this year in Fairmont, West Virginia. And that evening, police in Marion county received multiple reports, multiple reports of a Porsche with Texas plates driving dangerously before spotting it parked at an AutoZone. And inside, officers found Mary Lou Retton visibly upset, slurring her words, and seated with a screw top bottle of wine in the passenger seat.
Screw nothing.

Class like a Porsche in a screw top bottle of wine.
So when officers asked her to perform the sobriety tasks such as walking heel to toe or counting while balancing retin struggled field sobriety tasks, what did I say?
No, no, you're right.
I'm just coming in body cam footage released on July 8, she says I am an Olympic gold medalist, emphasizing I'm Virginia, West Virginia's first daughter, seemingly hoping her fame might sway the situation. And at one point she gasped for breath and used her oxygen tank. I forgot she was ill and I don't remember what she suffers from, but she oh, she had pneumonia in 2023, so she still has to use oxygen for that. Refusing a breathalyzer test, she was taken into custody and she was later released on a $1,500 bond. And she entered a no contest plea to a standard non aggravated DUI charge and was fined $100, which is the typical penalty and received a driver's education requirement. So her lawyer says what happened was completely unacceptable. I have no excuses. And she says to my family, friends and fans, I have let you down. And for that I am deeply sorry. I am determined to learn and grow from this experience. That's just sad.
Yeah, it is a hero.
You know, they're human too.
Well, I mean everybody has their days, right?
Right.
And but in our in the 80s, y', all is when it was. She was a. She was the. All right, let's come home to the great state of Louisiana in the town that we were just in yesterday, Gonzalez, Louisiana, in Ascension Parish. And there the mother of a murdered Louisiana State police master trooper Adam Gilbert. You remember that? And they didn't find him. What everything was going on and they. He got Yellen just telling the story that the by the time dispatch realized they hadn't talked to him in X amount of time, then they had to go find him. And I'll tell you the rest of it here in a minute. So they had a trial this weekend. This is what this is about. So the mother of murder, Louisiana State Police Master Trooper Adam Galvard, who's a great guy, told his killer Thursday her family will never be complete again. And this came just minutes before the judge and Ascension Parish since Matthew Meyer to two life sentences for the 2021 murder of Gober and Pamela Adair, who was a resident of Prairieville. You aren't supposed to outlive your children. Go Bear's mother Joan Joanne said in court, my family is my life. And Matthew Miracle destroyed that I can't celebrate holidays because he's not here. We will never be a complete family again. A split second decision to kill him destroyed our family. And so this little bitch agreed to the double life sentence plus an additional 348 years because you know what they were fucking given the death penalty and but he, he pled out for his involvement in the three parish crime spree that also left three other people injured on top of two dead including Trooper. So a former trooper whom Mira almost killed that day, Albert Martin also spoke out court on Thursday said Ms. Meredith, look at me. You took so much from so many. You took a brother from the Louisiana State Police and caused so much pain. I wish you a lifetime of pain and suffering. So I didn't say this piece of shit. The sentence was part of the plea agreement for mayor to avoid trial and the death penalty. But Ricky Babin who's the da, he's actually cool dude in front of mine. District Attorney Rick Babin says the sentence will mean the end of what would likely have been years of legal back and forth maneuvering in the case. He said it's bittersweet for us but at the end of the day, 25 years of litigation in state and federal courts and our victims are very satisfied with this now they understand that it's over. I think they prefer to see him alive and pay for what he's done. So y' all unlike Brian Colbert, the DA I know every day I've worked with the state of Louisiana death penalty cases when they make these decision they absolutely 1000% get full family input and base it off of that right. So Babin says Marvel now be eligible for any appeals or post conviction relief. He can't even file anything y'. All. That's how it works in Louisiana. If you plead guilty. He said we even put it in the law changes. He can't take advantage of anything. So he got the two mirror got the two life sentences for the murder. So gober in Adair. 152 years of his sentence came from the crimes he committed in Livingston Parish. And as part of the plea agreement he'll have to appear in Livingston Parish at a later date to formalize sentencing there. So his 2021 crime spree started in Livingston Parish where he committed a home invasion and stole a vehicle. He then headed into Ascension Parish where he shot Pamela Adair and her boyfriend at a home in Prairieville. She later died in the hospital, but her long time term boyfriend survived. That's my buddy. I mean I used to see him at headquarters in true pay. I'M sorry and thought about it in a minute. But the. I'm glad they got this. But anyway he. He also shot Gobert who was. He was at the time. He was a 19 year veteran of the Louisiana State Police. But he shot him and he was a little punk because Gobert's sitting off and I know this for a fact by himself but I don't know if he's doing reports whatever he was doing. But he. He went up to his marked vehicle where he was sitting and he was actually part of the. The search for Mirror. But he sued him where it doesn't matter. He was part of the search and Mir walks up to him and executed him. So Mir was later captured in East Baton Rouge. Now this asshole gets to stand up in court and he says I admit wrongfulness for my actions. I did not want to be chased Shoah. So I shot the trooper. I don't get it. Rest in peace.
Yes.
And it's horrible. No words. The. It is what it is. And. And the. The guys strap on those badges and guns every day and go out there to get it done not knowing if they're going to come home or not. And it's just the way that it is. I'm gonna read one more. I've really been remiss on not doing this. This story just with me. Too bad. But I'm go ahead and do it the y'. All we're gonna come back to the great state of Louisiana again and I'm pretty sure everybody around here knows about this. This has been going on for a minute. It's just horrible story and it's Baton Rouge Police Department and Sergeant Caleb Eyesworth. All right. And I'm going to tell you what happened but right now they're giving an update. Obviously seriously injured but Sergeant Caleb is worth continues to improve daily with small steps. As part of the recovery. The doctors determined that both legs needed to be amputated above the knee almost immediately. Sergeant Asworth's vitals improved to their best levels yet and doctors are cautiously optimistic that this was the hurdle that will allow him to recover right. He is still what they call it intubated and to give his body time to heal. However he is improving daily. There is no timetable for recovery like this. However, Sergeant Iceworth continues to fight each and every day to heal and doctors and the staff for our lady of Lake have given him and continue to give him the best care possible. So Sergeant Asworth's family continues to appreciate the outpouring support and care they have received from The Baton Rouge Police Department, as well as the mayor's officer and the surrounding law enforcement agencies and the public. And they ask their prayers and support continue as Sergeant Eyesworth has much healing left to do. All right, y', all, so now let me tell you what had happened. Sergeant Iceworth is a motorcycle cop, right? And in that you talk about a really tight new grip. Bunch of guys in Livingston Paris, when I was there, Willie Gray started the motor Division. My buddy John T. Left me from the road. I went to Texas. He went to motors. All my buddies were in motors. They, they loved it, right? They ran funeral processions and dignitaries and whatever. But I used to tease them. I'm like, y', all, you know, you show up and go eat breakfast and the next thing, your next big decision is where are you going to eat lunch? But they, but they compete in all these competitions and they travel the Willie Cinema all over the United States and motor competitions. And we host the motor competitions. So they're very tight with the Baton Rouge guys and all that. Let me tell you what fucking happened June 18th this year. And they. A man is accused of intentionally ramming a vehicle into a Louisiana police officer and then bragging about it on social media. And According to police, Sgt. Caleb is worth was on his way home from work on Monday when a 41 year old Gad Black was driving a Ford F150 and he intentionally knocked Eyesworth office marked police motorcycle and dragged him more than 500ft. Eyesworth is a 23 year veteran of the force and was left with two broken legs and a broken arm among other injuries. And he's. This was at the time you all just read you this update. He was listed in extremely critical condition. They said it's a great officer, a family man, a father, a husband and a friend of mine. We need prayers, said Brandon and Neal, the president of Baton Rouge Union Police. We got kids getting murdered in the streets now. A good friend of mine is fighting for his life in the hospital right now. It doesn't make sense. So they charged Black with attempted first degree murder of a police officer, hate crimes and resist an officer. And according to the arrest report, Black left the scene right after ramming into ice work. He was later arrested after he was tased during a struggle. And during an interview with authorities, Black alluded to his deep rooted hatred for law enforcement. Right. He also admitted to following Eyesworth just before the crash. I mean, wasn't an accident. He did it premeditated. Deputies said that Black's girlfriend, Asia Rabbi, 40, who's 40 years old, has also been arrested and is charged with obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact to the attempted first degree murder of a police officer. As part of the investigation into the crash, law enforcement office reviewed a 911 call that involved Rabbi. The arrest report states that Rabbi provided a description of Black's vehicle and later told authorities that she had located Black. Rabbi said she had taken possession of Black's vehicle and did not need any further assistance to cover it up. Ravi was was told she would need to provide her and Black's location. Ravi then disconnected the call with 911 dispatchers and she was arrested at her home, which is also where they found the Ford F150. Now Black had been previously arrested in 2014 on two counts of aggravated assault with a vehicle on a police officer and put on probation after a plea deal. So y', all the. This dude took to social media afterwards bragging about how he ran down and I mean he intended. He intended to kill. His sergeant eyes were still alive but he lost both his legs and. And still not out of the woods as we speak. But prayers for him. Prayer for all of all officers out there to get it done. If you're listening to this and. And you hate the cops, you can go yourself. That's what not all cops are good. I hate bad cops. But if you hate good cops, you have a deep seated hatred for cops and turn this off now. That's all I got for today.
You hate. If you hate bad cops, run them over.
Absolutely. I mean, I'm gonna try to put them in jail.
Exactly.
This dude, I mean, just think you get away with it. You think you're gonna run a motor.
Motorcycle away with it Once he got put on probation, I'm just saying that enabled him to think he could get away with it and brag about it.
You're right. But he's not going to get away with it. He didn't get. He got arrested that time. This time he's going to do life in prison at least. Probably worse than that. But he'll be. The sad part is he'll be a hero when he gets into Angola because most of them hate cops too. So that's all I got for today. You got anything else? I'm Woody Overton.
I'm Cindy Overton.
You host a true crime Time for this Wednesday. We holler y' all later. Peace.
