Woody Overton

Cindy Overton

Woody Overton

Cindy Overton
Yes.
Woody Overton
Can I tell them what happened on my birthday in yours?
Cindy Overton
You have several times. Yeah.
Woody Overton
I don't think. I think I told you.
Cindy Overton
You can tell them again at the.
Woody Overton
We were in New Orleans for my birthday and it was the day. It was the week before the Super Bowl. I know. I talked about that. I don't think I told what happened.
Cindy Overton
You Did. Okay, well, you can tell it again.
Woody Overton
The. I'm trying not to do that on your birthday.
Cindy Overton
You won't do that on my birthday. You're not gonna trip and fall and.
Woody Overton
And so what, you were dead sober. Yeah, we hadn't had a drink.
Cindy Overton
No.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
No.
Woody Overton
So anyway. All right, let's get down to some true crime time for your birthday.
Cindy Overton
Yeah. I love. We've gone through phases of birthday. Went through a phase of Vegas.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
We went through a phase of. For my birthday at least because it was summer W on my Belize. And now we're in the New Orleans phase. So.
Woody Overton
Yeah. Because close and convenient.
Cindy Overton
Well, because of our job duties.
Woody Overton
We're busy ass folks. Exactly. But not complaining. We're blessed to have y' all and we.
Cindy Overton
And we love New Orleans and it's absolutely always have complete getaway. So.
Woody Overton
It'S time for family matters.
Cindy Overton
I'm gonna take us to Oklahoma.
Woody Overton
All right.
Cindy Overton
And on the night of November 2nd of 2024, Oklahoma City.
Woody Overton
I was in the city and they didn't hear this. You come out nighttime and here and you just hear everything. Right.
Cindy Overton
I didn't know what that was.
Woody Overton
It's crickets.
Cindy Overton
Oh, okay.
Woody Overton
The mama got back from Dallas at Colette's and she's like, oh, Lord, you don't hear this in the city.
Cindy Overton
On November 2nd of 2024 in Oklahoma City, 33 year old Brennan Spencer and her partner James Kelson and had a 12 pack of white Claw. When we went through a White Claw phase.
Woody Overton
Yeah.
Cindy Overton
Spencer returned to a convenience store around 1:23am and purchased four more tall cans. And that. That purchase was captured on surveillance footage at the store. And after heading home, they put their. Their newborn twins down for the night and baby son RK they put him to sleep placed at the foot of their bed. And I'm sorry, that's not a really good place to put your kid, your newborn to sleep. But anyway, Spencer was intoxicated and he laid down on the couch with the baby LK in his arms. And hours later at 6:45am Kelson found a horrifying thing. Spencer was asleep and gripping her daughter while RK Lay lifeless at her feet. So the daughter was fine, but the son that was put to sleep at the foot of the bed was lifeless. Officers. She called 911 and officers arrived and saw the empty cans of white cloths and they were scattered throughout the apartment. Spencer admitted being probably really drunk in quotation marks and she said she just needed to pass out. A medical examiner ruled that RK Died from asphyxia due to an unsafe sleep environment. Not from natural causes or defects. And child abuse specialist deputy chief examiner Ryan Brown found rk a victim of neglect, stating that the baby's life most certainly would have been saved if it was securely placed in his bassinet. Of course, Spencer's intoxication impaired her awareness. So on July 1, Judge signed an arrest warrant and Spencer was charged with second degree murder, denied bond, and is currently held at $500,000 bail. And her hearing is on August 5th.
Woody Overton
There you have it. Another good story. Not, not. So let's talk about going to church. And we're going to go to church in Mississippi, in Mount Olive, Mississippi. Okay. Now, you know, Mississippi is a lot like Louisiana. My mama said, never have to go far to find two things. Bar room or a church. And in Mount Olive, they had a church. What do you think you could do to get banned from a church?
Cindy Overton
Cassette.
Woody Overton
The priest probably. So the wealth. Let me tell you about this lady, okay? Her name is Allie Thompson, and she's an elderly lady. I say she's elderly. I mean, she's probably what, 70? Yeah, something like that. So. And she decided to go to church on Father's Day.
Cindy Overton
Okay.
Woody Overton
But she had been banned from going to that church.
Cindy Overton
Why would you go if you've been banned? And why would you be banned from a church?
Woody Overton
Exactly. The plot thickens. And you know, if you ban me from church, I don't know if I can come back. Right. Like you can't come back here if.
Cindy Overton
Something upset you so much that you acted out to get banned from the church. Cuz something had the church would have happened to make you get have the behavior to be banned, so.
Woody Overton
Yeah, well, tensions at this Mississippi church ran high during one Sunday service when an elderly congregation member was forcibly dragged from the sanctuary by law enforcement after she had been banned from the house of worship. Now, they got video of this, y', all, and it was. It was attained by wlbt. And it shows two deputies dragging Allie Thompson from the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church on Father's Day. She said, I was wrestled to the floor. One got my right arm twisted it. I said, no, you're hurting me. Well, sheriff's deputies had to be called to Mount Olive because Thompson violated a court order. She wasn't just banned verbally. She had a court order to not go to this church. And it banned her from the court order, banned her from the church. But she showed up to the Father's Day service anyway, like the court order. But now Scott County Sheriff Mike Lee said that his deputies did everything they could to encourage Thompson to leave willingly. And. But she was like, nope, not doing it. She's put on a spectacle in front of the whole church. Now, let me tell you, a little public service announcement. 19,010. The. The cops, and especially nowadays, they all got body cameras, right?
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And this is not. They're not showing up to a bar room to remove someone. They're showing up in the middle of a Sunday service on Father's. And however many people the church has, I don't know, but I'm sure it was full.
Unknown
You have a court order. The judges don't just give those out.
Woody Overton
No, you had to do something. Okay.
Unknown
You have a court order. Do not bring your ass back in this church. Right.
Woody Overton
And. But you do it anyway because the law doesn't apply to you. Evidently. Then the deputies show up and like, ma', am, come on. You got a court order. They called it in. Let's just go on outside. Probably wouldn't even took her to jail then. And she's like, no, nope, nope. Not doing it. Calls in the scene, well, they're not going to go away. You can't just be like, you know, the judge's order does not apply to me. I'm in the church. Y' all could just leave me alone. They just go on away now, boys. No. At some point, it's called the force escalation. Right. Yet after the verbal commands, man, please come with us. You're in violation of a court order. You need to leave. Yeah, I'm pretty sure she didn't say, go fuck yourself.
Cindy Overton
She might have.
Woody Overton
No, no, she said it just in a different way while refusing to leave. But at what point do you realize they are going to make you leave? And if you are refusing to leave, they have to escalate the force by using soft. What they call soft hand control. Soft hand controls on low force continuum. The lowest point of that, which is after the verbal commands, you. You can put your hands on someone to make them comply. Right. The Whether you have to arrest them because they're not complying, whatever it may be. Now, you certainly can jump up. They pull a gun, you pull your, pull yours, and what have you. Or my favorite, as I always say was after, I wouldn't have sprayed it in the church. But after saying, ma', am, you need to leave or come with me. You're under. No, I'm not leaving them. But then you're under arrest. Come with me. You got to leave now. Go fuck yourself. I would Pulled out, especially in a woman and an elderly woman. I'm not putting my hands on her because he had freeze plus P. Freeze plus P is gift keeps on giving. You spray them and then you don't have to touch them. They gonna get out of the church.
Cindy Overton
Right.
Woody Overton
But you judgment being the better part of valor. I guess in this case I wouldn't have sprayed her because she's old and, and she's in charge. Everybody would have got coughed up in the church.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So they have to put their dictators on her and their hands on her and physically remove her from the sanctuary. So Thompson and six other members. I'm going to tell you what happened to lead up to it. Thompson and six other members of the church, former members now received court ordered letters prohibiting them from stepping onto the church grounds in October 2024. And church leaders filed a restraining order and preliminary injunction against Thompson and those other members, saying they verbally and physically assaulted a deacon the previous September. The court documents alleged that the members also threatened the pastor, the first lady and other church members. But what do you think? Thompson says she denies any involvement in the incident and filed a statement to the church lawyer asserting her innocence. She said all the preachers that have been here and gone, if you get in touch with them, they would tell you I have been a faithful warrior. Nothing but welcome and greeting guests as they come in. They would tell you that. And Thompson says she and the other members have been unhappy with the church's current pastor. Herein lies the problem. His name is Charles Bell, claiming he ignored the church bylaws to institute new committees and won't seek counsel from the church's oldest and most faithful members to make important decisions. Here the new rules come in. Old rule don't like it. Said he called himself appointing the finance committee. The church did not vote on that. We have bylaws and rules that we govern by. Why doesn't he include my husband who is the oldest man and deacon of the church? He makes decision without his knowledge. Well, there you go. Right. So. The church's longtime Sunday school teacher, Eddie Johnson, said her position was also impacted. I am the Sunday school teacher here. Mr. Johnson came in this morning and told me his pastor asked him to teach the Sunday school lesson and he's taking it over and I was not informed. So Tonsilon said the congregation will soon hold a vote to decide whether she and the other band individuals can remain members of the church. Well, guess what, Ms. Thompson, you better not hold that meeting on the church grounds.
Cindy Overton
Yeah, right.
Woody Overton
They probably you're gonna get arrested again.
Cindy Overton
Oh, my gosh.
Woody Overton
So I. I want to see if I can play this. You edit it. I will have to that. I want to play a lot.

I recently took the true age test from True Diagnostic and discovered my biological age. And let me tell you, it's completely changed the way I look at my health. Biological age is a powerful indicator of how fast you're aging on the inside. And it directly predicts your risk for serious diseases. Here's why that matters. Research shows that if your biological age is even just five years older than your actual age, your risk of developing diseases like cancer or heart disease can jump by as much as 30 to 50%. That's a big deal. And the amazing part is nearly 90% of biological aging is actually, actually in our control. It all comes down to lifestyle, habits and your environment. When I got my results back, I was honestly shocked. My chronological age is 55, but my biological OMICM age came back at 63, meaning I'm biologically about eight years older.
Woody Overton
Than my actual age.
Unknown
That was definitely not what I expected and honestly, it was a big wake.
Woody Overton
Up call for me.

The triage test didn't just give me one number, it broke down how quickly each of my organ systems are aging and it was eye opening. I found out that my liver and musculoskeletal system are actually aging slower, which was encouraging. But my heart, brain, lungs and metabolic systems were all aging faster than they should be. I also learned that my pace of aging is 1.1, meaning for every year that passes, I'm aging 1.1 biological years. And that and that can increase my risk of chronic disease and even shorten my lifespan if I don't make changes. This test really pushed me to make some adjustments. The personalized strategies they shared from top scientists at Harvard and Yale included focusing more on strength and resistance training to support my heart and metabolic health. The best part? The test itself was super easy and convenient. I did it right at home. No doctor visits or big needles. Just a quick painless finger prick and I mailed it back in a prepaid package and got a detailed online report in about two to three weeks. Fast and totally hassle free. If you care about protecting your health and want to find out what your real age is, head over to truediagnostic.com and use my code RLRC to get 20% off your entire order or subscription. Woody Overton
Well, tonight we speak exclusively with a.
Chris Fields
Longtime member of one local church who.
Woody Overton
Was dragged out of service by deputies.
Narrator
That happened in Scott County. Now that encounter happening at Mount Olive.
Woody Overton
Missionary Baptist Church on Father's Day 3.
Chris Fields
Inner Side's Chris Fields shares her side.
Narrator
Of the story with you.
Chris Fields
Chris.
Narrator
Well, that's right, Howard. On one hand, members say they were trying to do the right thing and speak out against the pastor after not abiding by church bylaws. But court records reveal a different story. Now, according to these documents, it turned out that a church deacon was assaulted months ago at the hands of some members and as a result they were asked not to return until things were resolved.
Chris Fields
I was wrestled to the Floor one got my right arm twisted it. I said, oh, you're hurting me.
Narrator
That's how longtime member Ellie Thompson recounts what she calls a painful and chaotic Sunday morning. Three on your side obtained exclusive video of the altercation at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Thompson could be seen being dragged out of the mother's board section and out the door by two Scott county deputies. According to Scott County Sheriff Mike Lee, she and other members received court ordered letters not to attend services any longer. However, Lee told us they violated the course order and came to service anyway. Others learned Sunday they were stripped of their longtime positions.
Chris Fields
I am the Sunday school teacher here and Mr. Johnson came in this morning.
Cindy Overton
And said that his pastor had asked.
Chris Fields
Him to teach the Sunday school lesson.
Cindy Overton
And he's taken it over.
Chris Fields
I was not informed.
Narrator
Now, you may ask what led to the big blow up. Well, Thompson claims there are several things, including speaking out against Pastor Charles Bell's leadership.
Chris Fields
He called himself appointing a finance committee. The church did not put that in effect. We have bylaws and rules that we govern.
Narrator
Thompson also claims other leaders of the church are not being included in church business.
Chris Fields
Why he doesn't include my husband, who is the oldest man here in the church? Who is the oldest deacon, I do not know. He makes decisions without his knowledge.
Narrator
Three on your side did some digging and found several things. Filed in Scott County Chancery court back in 2024, leaders of the church filed a restraining order and preliminary injuries injunction against seven members, including Thompson. It claimed that those members assaulted a deacon both physically and verbally on September 15, 2024. He had to be hospitalized. It goes on to say that all those defendants verbally threatened and assaulted the pastor, first lady and other members of the church. Now, Thompson filed a statement to the church's lawyer saying she had no involvement in that altercation.
Chris Fields
All the preachers that have been here and gone, if you get in touch with them, they would tell you that I have been a faithful warrior. Nothing but welcoming, greeting guests. That comes in.
Narrator
Three on your side requested to speak with Reverend Bale Sunday about everything that has transpired but was told he wasn't available.
Cindy Overton
So, Chris, tell us what is next for these members?
Narrator
Well, great question, Maggie. Their membership now lies and the hands of the congregation. And Thompson says the church will have a meeting later on this month to officially vote them out.
Woody Overton
All right, thank you so much, Chris.
Cindy Overton
All right, Chris.
Woody Overton
Y', all, the. If you get to watch that, that clip, this lady's got that to be in her 80s.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And they physically attacked the preacher and did all kinds of other sauce and threats. Interesting story.
Cindy Overton
Ended up in a hospital. But it's amazing how well you did her voice.
Unknown
Right.
Woody Overton
I get stars for that. The. I very rarely play video clips and I hadn't watched it. I just wanted to see it. And I saw her picture and I was like, this ought to be good.
Cindy Overton
I'll try to add that to the YouTube version.
Woody Overton
Okay.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
All right.
Cindy Overton
And we have not announced this. We're going to do the video version for our subscribers, Right?
Unknown
Oh, that's right.
Woody Overton
That's right, y'. All. For Patreon and Convicts. Because somebody asked about it, like, I can't get the video or whatever it is. So we hadn't even thought of that. No, because we were starting with the YouTube stuff.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
You know, a couple weeks in or whatever it may be.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So Patreon and convicts, not only will you get your commercial free early releases, you will get now get video releases of every episode. Commercial free early release.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
No commercials. You go to YouTube and watch it, you're getting a ton of commercials.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And that's just business. And the YouTube episodes always come out days, a long time after the regular episodes. People like, I can't find it on YouTube because it ain't out yet.
Cindy Overton
Right.
Woody Overton
And because it's two separate things, this business Shaw, we have agents. We. We have an agent and to do our national commercials. And that's how we get paid. Right. And then so Patreon convicts get those by their subscription. They. They don't have to listen to all the commercials.
Cindy Overton
No.
Woody Overton
So, and bonus episodes, even though it's.
Unknown
Been a long time.
Woody Overton
But I do have one that you haven't edited yet. And we will get that to y' all as soon as possible.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
All right. Next door.
Cindy Overton
Okay. We're going, we're going to Maine. On. Well, I have it labeled as unsolved. So it's not cold yet, but it's unsolved. So on July 2nd of this year, 48 year old sunny Stewart, unsolved and.
Woody Overton
Cold cases go together.
Cindy Overton
Well, cases are unsolved, but this happened July 2nd. I don't think it's been long enough to work it. On July 2nd of 20, 25, 40, 48 year old sunshine Sunny Stewart set out on a paddleboarding trip by herself across Crawford Pond in Union, Maine. And she was known for her adventurous spirit doing things on her own. She loved to paddle board. And she was on near this 100 acre island between 6pm and 9pm that day on July 2. And she just Thought it would be like a peaceful evening on the water. The next day on July 3rd, Sunny's loved ones were scared because Sunny never returned. And they were concerned that, you know, she needed help in some way, so they reached out to her.
Woody Overton
You don't return home from pallet board. Maybe that's well.
Cindy Overton
Or unless you're a bad daddy who's run off to be with some woman he met online.
Woody Overton
But still calls for concern.
Cindy Overton
Right? You're right. So local authorities, including Maine state police, game wardens and family members launched a search. And around 1am they found Sonny's body. And it was lying in what is described as unusual circumstances near the 100 acre island. The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide, and they do not know the specific cause or it hasn't been disclosed. But authorities confirmed there was no sign of an accidental drowning or suicide. And her injuries show and make clear that this was a very violent act. They described Sunny as being, you know, much more than a paddleboarder. She was a former marine biologist, contractor, lobsterman, boat captain, even a bartender. And she was beloved by her community. Her sister, Kim Ware, described her as the strongest person I know, a generous mom, a loyal friend, and a nature enthusiast. The small town of Union population's only 2,500 was used to, you know, very quiet summers. And they are scared because they don't know who's out there that did this. So residents expressed deep concern and fear, wondering who could commit such a crime on their usually peaceful pond. And police responded by canvassing the area's surveillance videos and conducting thorough perimeter checks and using the McMac Cove Family Campground as a staging ground for the investigative efforts. And the state police also issued a public plea asking anyone who saw sunshine between 6 and 9 on July 2 to please come forward. And, you know, meanwhile, family and friends are trying to raise money to bury.
Woody Overton
Her and go out on a limb and tell you what happened, because I did see that story. It's a local. As somebody had fixated on her. The too small a community, somebody new fantasy didn't do it anymore. They had it in for. I mean, sexually for a long time and they finally acted out. Yeah, got her.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So hate that for the family and all the people involved. Well, I don't know. Just the way that it is, I guess. I've been keeping my stuff a little bit on the lighter side today.
Cindy Overton
Then you're gonna rip that band aid or are you gonna still keep it lighter?
Unknown
It's time for effed up professionals.
Woody Overton
You tell me when I get Done. Of course. So we're going to Nashville, Tennessee, and they got a landlord, right? And he wants to evict his tenants, including a four year old child, out of the apartment they had rented from them. Okay, so. But instead of pursuing a legal eviction, he decided to do it another way. And actually it's a she, Irv Yana Davis, an African American woman and she lives in the Nashville area. And she got arrested and charged with two counts of felony child abuse and two misdemeanor offenses after she attempted to smoke out the family using bug bombs.
Cindy Overton
What's the deal?
Woody Overton
I don't know, man. I mean, how fucking stupid are you?
Cindy Overton
Yeah, she's killing two birds with one stomach.
Woody Overton
It'd been much cheaper, much cheaper for you to get a lawyer and get them evicted. So according to police, Davis used between five and 16 foggers inside the apartment while the family was still inside. Now naturally this is in violation of a health and safety regulations, so let me tell you how this all came about. Davis tried to force the family off the property. All right.

You show up and listen to the complaint and you're like, sorry, this is a civil matter. You have to get a court order. To get them out, which is typical. Stops bullshit from going on and the. You know, nobody wants to hear that. But for the cop, it's an easy report to write, right. Showed up complaining, advise she wanted them out. Told him file civil shit, give me a File number you 10, 8. Back in service. But so the cops did that and they told her that. And that the evictions must proceed through civil court. Well, Davis was like that and she ignored the advice and she went down to the store and purchased a large number of roach bombs and she went back to the apartment and turned them all on in the living space. And it's according to the arrest warrant. So now you think you're gonna be in trouble enough. Right. But for doing this, it's just stupid and it's bad. They. But when you sell those fog bombs, whatever they call them, they tell you to get the out for a reason poison. But guess who else? Well, the Environmental Protection Agency explicitly warns against remaining in a space after a fogger is activated and says that people and pets should stay out for at least two to four hours. They also say that a single fogger is sufficient for a 25 by 25 foot room. That's far less when this Davis is right. So she goes in and she sets off the foggers and guess what happens? The the child began coughing and experiencing severe breathing difficulties. Now the family did what any family would do. They all asked to the hospital with a kid for emergency treatment. Davis, she's not so smart. And she got arrested the following day and she was booked into the Davidson county jail. I'm sure there's no relation there, y'. All where her bond was set at $37,000. So the legal experts, they love their way in, right. All these probably don't know anything about it or they're bothering somebody else. And like oh, I'm an investigative consultant, but I used to sell medical sales.
Unknown
Right.
Woody Overton
And I magically overnight became investigated consultant.
Unknown
Anyway, so legal experts say this case.
Woody Overton
Highlights the importance of. Of understanding landlord tenant rights and the consequences of bypassing legal eviction procedures. And in Tennessee land as in Louisiana, landlords first file through civil court to remove tenants. And attempting to force them out through threats, shut offs or dangerous actions is illegal. You know why it's all illegal. Some other did a. Like this.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So. And you know, it is what it is. The, the man just. Yeah. There's no level to. Of stupidity, if that's even right phrase level of stupidity. The people I have.
Cindy Overton
Yeah. I wonder why she wanted to evict.
Woody Overton
Them anyway that matter.
Cindy Overton
I know it doesn't.
Woody Overton
I'm just saying whatever they may have been meth heads, who knows. But you still can't the cop. You call the cops out and they say no, you got to file it civil court. And they don't charge you for that. You don't have to get a lawyer for that. You can walk down and get a civil thing saying look, they hadn't paid the rent whatever it may be. And then they. They have to serve them with the papers and they give them like five days to get out or to show up in court and fight it. Right. And you don't have to have a lawyer to show up in court. I've done this a lot of times. I. We had to evict people from roof Lee had to victim out of the bar downtown Baton Rouge and that we own the M. And I had to do it a lot as a cop that one time. Most people don't even know this. When I was getting a little burnout from the uniform and SWAT and everything, right. For the Texas and the Working the dope so much, I actually transferred to civil and go so papers because I just need a fucking break. And the. Yeah, I still got out called calls and. And. But I had set work hours and one all the time and whatever. But I had to do this kind of shit. Serve people with eviction notices and stuff. There's a reason they have those laws.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Because some asshole Ms. Davis decided and. And go set off 16 bug bombers and poison the family.
Cindy Overton
Poison the family. That's horrible. But I remember a story you tell about going to serve papers every day for like a week.
Woody Overton
It was like two weeks at the same. And I still pass that road. Want to go the back way to watch some dental. Sometimes the street.
Cindy Overton
And so then finally someone was.
Woody Overton
I always went there. I always went there. And it was in the middle of nowhere.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And I was always trying to serve it during the daytime.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And I went back in the evening time once to try to get it out and went to the door and there's only one neighbor across the street. And they were like may I help you? I'm like yeah, I've been trying to serve this paper here. And they said what's, what's the address or what's the name? I said the name. I said they don't live there. They live right down the street. So.
Cindy Overton
And then just PSA for people who have visitors. What is the length of time someone can stay in there?
Woody Overton
That's my favorite. It's a little bit of a gray area, at least in the state of Louisiana. But the. We used to love to use it. People, you know, have friends over, start sleeping on the couch and whatever. And after a couple weeks, the. They want me gone.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Like, I'm tired of this bum. And. And they tell him, get out, Joe. You've been eating all my. You're pissing on my toilet seat, drinking my beer. Get the out. And Jay's like, I don't think I'm going to go anywhere. Right, Right. And send them like, joe, I'm telling you, better go, or I'm gonna call the popo.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Joe's like, call the popo. I don't give a. I'm just not leaving.
Cindy Overton
Right.
Woody Overton
Joe got nowhere to go anyway. Right. So then they call 91 1. 911 sends a uniform guy out. The uniform guys, like, Joe's been on my couch, eating my baloney and drinking my beer and pissing on my seat and, you know, breathing my air and turning air conditioner down, running up my electricity bill. And you know what the cop says? How long you've been staying here? Joe's here. He's been here, like, eight days. And the cop says, well, sir, sorry to inform you, it's a silly matter. You got to get him evicted. And, like, they're, like, white. And I was told that it was seven days. If somebody's been staying in your house for seven days, are considered domiciled.
Cindy Overton
Damn.
Woody Overton
And you got to get a seven days set. You got to get a court order to get them out. So you have to go through this process.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And because you're being nice.
Cindy Overton
Right. Helping out a friend.
Woody Overton
Right.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
And you got to get the out.
Cindy Overton
Right.
Woody Overton
So anyway, that's enough. We're gonna. We're gonna end this because it's Cindy's birthday, and I'm gonna go take her wherever we end up. All right? It's true. That's a true statement. Because, y', all, we're in New Orleans. We'll. We just. We'll go walk the quarter, and we stay away from the tourist traps. We know all the hole in the walls, the local spots, and locals eat. And we'll walk until we get tired and want to have an adult beverage and swing in somewhere and have an adult beverage and. And a good meal. Yeah. Right. So. But the one thing you're not getting is a birthday cake.
Cindy Overton
I'll get a piece somewhere.
Woody Overton
Oh, you're right. Restaurant. Well, if we stop in a nice place, they might have a Birthday cake. They might come out and sing Happy, Happy, happy Birthday.
Cindy Overton
No, because you'll always get the check before I'm like, wait, I want a dessert.
Woody Overton
I always forget it because it's always about me. Right. So love and appreciate each and every one of y'. All. Hashtag just Bradley. Y'. All, listen, we get so many tips and I gotta keep telling the story. Now we're on Austin o' Banion's part and the I will reach back out to you and yes, I will have Boots on the ground over there. And I'm certainly not going to say when, but it's coming in where I have a list and I'm making it, checking it twice like Santa Claus and I'm deciding who I want to see first and everything else and, and we'll see how the case develops and gets worked from there. But don't think that I'm just not totally responding to you for no reason. Some of you, the. You don't have that much information or it's information that I already have. But I'll let you know that at some point some of you have a shot ton of information. And I. I've got to investigate each and every one of them and, and most of it's different.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
From each other. And it's just me. I don't have a police department. I don't have a bunch of detectives underneath me. And we're doing six shows a week and this past week a live show and guest bartending and. And you know, life managing several businesses and everything else and taking care of all kinds of shit. But I'm committed. Hashtag justice for Bradley. It's. It's coming and you never know what's going to happen by this time you're hearing this. There are. May have been arrests, but the one funny thing I thought was I saw Morgan Baggott's Tick Tock this morning and she's like, you know how to notice how since Woody Overton's got on case Vernon Paris sheriff's office hadn't made a post about anything and they hadn't said a word. Where before they were bashed.
Cindy Overton
Yeah, I haven't said a word.
Woody Overton
That's okay. I got nothing against them. They do your job.
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
Make an arrest and actually investigate the case. How about that? And then would you go away?
Cindy Overton
Yeah.
Woody Overton
So I mean I want had to go spend time on Boots on the Ground in Leo and the surrounding areas and Vernon Parish, but that's all I got. And I'm Woody Overton.
Cindy Overton
I'm Cindy Overton we'll holler y' all later.
Woody Overton
Peace.

After a night of consuming a twelve-pack of White Claw alcoholic beverages, Spencer returned home intoxicated and placed her newborn son, RK, at the foot of their bed—a highly unsafe sleeping environment.
By 6:45 AM, James Kelson discovered RK lifeless, leading to an immediate 911 call. Spencer admitted to being "probably really drunk" at the time. The medical examiner concluded that RK died from asphyxia due to the neglectful sleep arrangement, not from natural causes.
