You never know how much the your support means to the show. It allows me to continue to do what I'm doing and there's going to be some scaling back of the originals and they're all going to be replaced With. With Patreon, with these episodes, these bonus episodes. Okay. And I'll explain all that in detail. You know, unfortunately, podcast, it's a business, right. I love to tell stories, and, you know, I'm going to go back to some of the old school stories, but. But got to get through this stupid business, and it's almost done. And then you'll understand where I'm coming from, because Patreon and convicts and Apple subscribers will hear it before anyone else. And you are the best fans in the world, and thank you so much for supporting me. Now, what I want to do today is going to be a tad bit different. I want to tell you about a couple cases that are, you know, naturally, they're disturbing. This is. It's true crime. This is not bucking Romper Room. Right. And the. They're not in. Necessarily in my neck of the wood, some of it. I. If I have time, I. I will tell you about. But I want to tell you about a sweet young girl who is 19 years old, okay? And this is a tragic story. And then my. My daughters are like 24 and 25 or 24 and 26, something like that. But I think that this could have been my daughter or your daughters or anyone's daughter, and evil does exist. So there was a young lady, 19 years old, and her name is Sadie Robinson. And. And everybody loved her. She was just jam up. Very responsible, beautiful. Absolutely beautiful, beautiful girl. And she worked in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, y'. All, and I'll be there next week. She worked in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at a pizza restaurant. Right? Very reliable employee. Everybody loved her. And, you know, she never missed work. The. She just was an all star, all right? Until one day she didn't show up her shift, okay? And when this is on April 2nd, and you know what? The people who work where they were like, holy, something's wrong. You know, there's no way that Sadie wouldn't show up for work. Never happened before. She didn't call. There's nothing going on. Right? And the problem with that is, y', all is what happened. Now, they knew that the evening before, Sadie was going out on a date, a first date. And she was going out with a guy named Maxwell Anderson, who's 33 years old. And Sadie, you know, they're. They're communicating back forth. And Sadie's like, hey, I want to go eat seafood. I'm feeling seafood, right? And so Maxwell Anderson takes her to the local seafood restaurant. Sadie had been looking forward to this date, y'. All. I mean, she. She's not Only working maximum hours at a pizza place. She. She's a young college student. She's living the best of her life, right? And. And the day before the date, she tells a secretary in her building, you know, how fired up she is about this date. And she can't, you know, she's so looking forward to it. And that's when she texted Maxwell Anderson. She said, hey, I'm feeling seafood. And so he. He took her to a seafood restaurant where he used to work at. And he's wearing ripped jeans and a white shirt. And now Robinson Sadie, y'. All. It was vibrant, extroverted presence. And the place that she worked at was the Pizza Shuttle. And her manager, Justin Romero, described her as very outgoing, and she would talk to everybody here, and she was always there to lighten the mood. Like I told you, everybody loved her. But when she didn't show up after her date the next day for work, the manager said, hey, you know what? That's not like her. It wasn't like her at all. And he said that the day Sadie disappeared, he said, we kind of knew something was up. We had been calling her all day, right? She doesn't show up for work. You know, hey, maybe she was sick. Maybe she got drunk and slept in. Nope, no response, y'. All. So one of Sadie's friends call the police at night, and they say, hey, you know what? She hadn't returned any of her calls, and she didn't show up for work. So the Milwaukee police. Now, people ask me all the time about the 24 hour rule and all that stuff. Well, you know, if you chase down every single person who was reported for not calling back and worked it as a business person, nothing would ever get done. I mean, Most of them, 99% of y', all, and they happen every single day. 99% percent of them are as simple. Someone got drunk or someone, you know, left town without telling whoever they were pissed at, whatever, it doesn't matter. 99% of them, there's nothing to it. Now, in the Milwaukee pd, They're like, you know what? We believe these people are telling the truth. This is out of her character. Let's go check on her. Or welfare check. And that's basically. It's kind of appeased people and. But a lot of welfare checks, I've rolled up one. There was a DB or a dead body. So. But they. They. So they roll to her place, right? And they bang on the door and, you know, but she doesn't answer. And Sadie's friend said that the last Contact she had with Sadie was a Snapchat message showing her on the. Showing that she was at Duke's on the Water, which is on Ishuno Avenue in Milwaukee on the evening of April 1st.

Remember, she's filling seafood, y'. All. So the restaurant closed for three days during the search for Sadie, and the authorities quickly found some bad, bad stuff, y'. All. They. On Tuesday, April 2, around 7:32am the morning after her date with Anderson, the local firefighters responded to an area of West Lipson avenue and North 29th street for a vehicle fire. Right. Guess what the. It was confirmed that the vehicle was Sadie Robinson's. All right? And y' all have worked a lot of them where you come up and the license plate is melted off, but they still have the VIN number scratched in. They know where to go. Look, I. I mean, you know, some of them are partially burned. Some of them are melted to the ground. But Sadie's 2020 Honda Civic had sustained extreme fire damage, completely damaging the interior. Well, why would you do that? To get rid of evidence. Right. But despite the fire damage, the firefighters were able to identify the outfit that Sadie had been wearing the night of the date, as well as part of an iPhone, which was consistent with her phone and her burned vehicle. Okay, where Sadie. Right. Cut a he all the way from. Just scratch that, y'. All. I'll tell you about that later. So later that same day, after the vehicle fire, around 5:29pm Members of the law enforcement, including Milwaukee Sheriff's Office, the cuddahy. And that's from Liam Ray. Got me correct on that name. Thank you, Leah. Or actually, probably my brother, Shane McBride. Brother from another mother. Got it. But they're from there anyway. So the. The. The sheriff's office and Cudahy Police Department, they respond to Warnermount park, which was located at 5400 South Lake Drive, and they had a report of a human leg. Leg, y'. All. Located on the beach where. Which appear to have been sewn. Sewn, however you want to say it, chopped off at the hip socket. The toes on the foot had pink nail polish, and the leg did not yet appear to be in a state of decomposition, which means fresh all, obviously. And it's just laying on the beach. Now, a deputy named Leon Martin was one of the first sheriff's deputies that responded to the scene, and he spoke to the medical personnel who discovered the leg. The person said that the person who actually found the leg was meeting a friend of the park, and it stated that he and his friend were walking towards the beach. And they solved the leg just north of the Warnamont pump house at the shoreline. Now, Deputy Martin said the area where the leg was located contains a bluff that is approximately 100ft tall. And the leg was found two thirds of the way down the bluff towards the water's edge. Well, what do you do next as an investigator? Right. Naturally, they recovered the leg and they transferred to Milwaukee county medical examiner's office. And it was examined by forensic pathologist Dr. Lauren Decker. And at looking at the leg and examination determined that the leg belonged to a black woman. And y', all, Sadie was African American. And anyways, it's determined to belong to a black woman approximately five feet tall. And ultimately they were able to identify it as Sadie's leg using preliminary DNA evidence. Now, the DNA is fast as fuck now, y'. All. I mean, back in my day, you couldn't get it. You put a rush letter, you couldn't get it in six months. But now it's 30 something years later, and the technology has advanced, so they're now able to come back and say it's Sadie. Now, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, Detective Nathan Spittenmeister, he searched the area of the park for any cameras and that, you know, may have captured something about whoever threw the leg out. Right. And he looked, check it out. He found a video camera from Cudahy High School that shows the parkways nearest to the pump house at the shoreline. Parkways, I guess, being pathways, y'. All. The video footage showed at approximately 2:53am A vehicle entered the video frame heading eastbound on the parkway towards the pump house, towards the road to the pump house. And the video showed that the vehicle did not make a southbound or northbound turn once it reached the intersection nearest to the service. Right. The vehicle disappears from the video footage, which is consistent with the vehicle driving down the road that led to the pump house. Now, they can reenact that, y' all very easily. So the deck, Detective Spidmeister also recovered a video from the pump house that faces north in the direction of where the severed leg was recovered or Sadie's leg. And at approximately 3:02am a human figure can be seen descending the bluff to the beach level. Okay. The figure appears to make multiple attempts to walk between the beach and the service drive for the pump house. Well, I would be looking for more than a leg. Okay. And at approximately 4:31am the vehicle that entered the closed gate leaves and ultimately leaves the park, heading westbound. All right, continuing on. On April 2, employees of the Cuddahe water water department reported that the service gate had been struck by a vehicle. And this is according to authorities the the damage to the gate was done after the evening of April 1st and before the morning April 2nd. Well, that fits in perfectly all with the video footage. So Sadie's friend told police she had access Robinson's Life360 app and after she was reported missing and noticed the phone appeared to be in one of my park around 4:33am on April 2nd of 2024. And detectives trace Sadie traveled through her life 360 records and they showed the phone to the location near Dukes where she went to eat the seafood with this douchebag before it traveled to the area of Anderson's house. Now it's stayed her phone stayed at Anderson's house for three hours and 19 minutes and then it traveled to the area where Sadie's leg was found. All right, April 6th, as the Milwaukee PD canvas the area where Sadie's car had been burned, they identified more remains, including a human foot and what appear to be human flesh.

I recently took the True Age test from trudiagnostic and discovered my biological age. And let me tell you, it's completely changed the way I look at my health. Biological age is a powerful indicator of how fast you're aging on the inside, and it directly predicts your risk for serious diseases. Here's why that matters. Research shows that if your biological age is even just five years older than your actual age, your risk of developing diseases like cancer or heart disease can jump by as much as 30 to 50%. That's a big deal. And the amazing part is, nearly 90% of biological aging is actually in our control. It all comes down to lifestyle, habits and your environment. When I got my results back, I was honestly shocked. My chronological age is 55, but my biological OMICM age came back at 63, meaning I'm biologically about eight years older than my actual age. That was definitely not what I expected, and honestly, it was a big wake.

The triage test didn't just give me one number. It broke down how quickly each of my organ systems are aging, and it was eye opening. I found out that my liver and musculoskeletal system are actually aging slower, which was encouraging. But my heart, brain, lungs and metabolic systems were all aging faster than they should be. I also learned that my pace of aging is is 1.1, meaning for every year that passes, I'm aging 1.1 biological years, and that can increase my risk of chronic disease and even shorten my lifespan if I don't make changes. This test really pushed me to make some adjustments. The personalized strategies they shared from top scientists at Harvard and Yale included focusing more on strength and resistance training to support my heart and metabolic health. The best part? The test itself was super easy and convenient. I I did it right at home. No doctor visits or big needles. Just a quick painless finger prick and I mailed it back in a prepaid package and got a detailed online report in about two to three weeks. Fast and totally hassle free. All of which appear to come from the same person. Well, I mean I'm glad they found it, but at this point you damn well know it's coming from the same person. Right? That just fucking horrible. Hopefully he murdered before he did all this. But Detective Ryan Bergman obtained video from the Milwaukee County Transit System. You know the or the bus traveling westbound on lipson Avenue on MCTS Route 57. And the bus stopped on the corner near where the car was set on fire. And guess what? Anderson was observed carrying a tan colored backpack. And a second person tried to flag people down and shout. He did that while pointing at Anderson who yelled for someone to call the fire department. So they got a witness that sees him light the car on fire. Then he's getting on a bus, right? And foot being found near. Skin being found near. I guarantee in that backpack was Ms. Sadie. So the witness told police she was walking down Lipson Avenue with her friend and she saw a white male exit the driver door of Sadie's Honda Civic. And she then observed the white male light a lighter and toss it into the driver's door window of the Honda and then begin walking in in the direction of the bus system. And it lasts. They last saw the white male walking westbound on Walnut Walnut street from 30th Street. Which is crazy. And so detectives do what they do. They continue rolling on and they attain Cell phone records for Robinson discovered a text message conversation between 4:15pm and 5:18pm Authorities said that Anderson provided the 416 phone number when or the the 416 phone number when booked. The complaint states the following. Y' all check this out. Okay? The Robinson. Where are we meeting? Robinson? I can do five. The the phone number, y'. All. I'll just say it ends in eight. Seven four responds and says downtown somewhere. Robinson says okay. 874 Broadhurst Broadhouse on third. Robinson Perfect. 874 okay. I'm gonna shower quick. I'll probably get down there more around 5:15.874 says, Are you hungry? I'm gonna need to stop at the Twister Fisherman to pick up my W2 from last year and we could eat there first. Sadie says okay. And yes say says are we eating at the Broadhouse or the other place? 874 responds, let's eat at the twisted. I'm feeling seafood. Robinson says Sadie says yes I love seafood. 874 says, Sounds good. I'm about to leave. I'll be there soon in Sadie, since I don't know what these characters would be. You know, I'm. I'm old as. I don't know, whatever. It may have been mistyped. Then a few minutes later or sometime later, 874 says, just got to twist it. Sadie says, okay. Are you inside? 874 says, yes. All right. So kind of chilling. Probably the last text that she ever sent. So, detectives, y', all, they got the video from the twisted fisherman, all right? And they saw Anderson enter the twisted Fisherman at around 5:09pm and at 5:20pm Robinson entered the restaurant and sat next to Anderson and they ate and had drinks until they left around 6:24pm the restaurant older owner told the police that Anderson was a former employer. And Anderson told the bartender he was meeting the female for a first date. On Friday, Wisconsin authorities charged Maxwell Anderson, who's now working as a local bartender at Victor's nightclub. In other establishments, I guess he was. Whatever he did, whatever to make ends meet. Anyway, they charged him with first degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, arson of property other than a building, and y', all, he faces life in prison if convicted just on the homicide charge. And first degree murder is the most serious of homicide offenses in Wisconsin. And it's, it's, it's not like Louisiana where we have the death penalty, Wisconsin doesn't. But you get charged with first degree, you get convicted of first degree, you're going to do automatic life. And life means life. Yeah. Wisconsin abolished the death penalty in 1853. So even though y' all remember Jeffrey Dahmer who killed and ate all the boys that they thought about bringing back the death penalty when he was convicted because his crimes were so horrendous. But let's see. I'm telling you about the complaint. So the complaint details evidence police say ties Anderson to the crimes, including surveillance video, witness accounts, and phone records. And the plaint says that evidence led authorities conclude Sadie Robinson was dead. Obviously, you're missing your leg. You're verified by DNA, Right? So law enforcement executed a search warrant for Anderson's residence and discovered blood located on bedding in one of the bedrooms and walls leading towards the basement. And several gasoline containers were located in the garage storage area. The facts mentioned in this complaint to conclude that the defendant intentionally killed and dismembered Robinson with intent to conceal the homicide. And it occurred between the arrival at the defendant's residence and his departure from the Wearmount park area. Now, Anthony Cotton, an attorney representing Anderson, told TV stations that his client is presumed innocent. And we will fight this matter vigorously in court. At Friday a news conference, police said the search for more of Sadie's remains and other evidence continues. And I bet you they're going to find it all. When asked if her office was reviewing other cases of missing women for possible connections, Milwaukee County Sheriff Danita Ball said, so far, there hasn't been any evidence that there are other victims, but y' all better keep looking. But after Anderson's first court appearance, Sadie Robinson's mother, Sheena Scarborough, called his arrest justice for Sadie. And Sadie Robertson, originally from right up State from us from Vicksburg, Mississippi, was born on May 10th of 2004. She was a loving daughter and a cherished sister and a dear friend to many. And she was on the brink of graduating from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Yeah, she was 19 years old. Had her whole life in front of her. They said the pain of losing Sadie left a void in her hearts of her family, especially her grieving mother and little sister and along with other relatives, friends, and the entire community who loved and supported her. As we come together to honor Sadie's memory, we aim to provide her with the dignified farewell she deserves. This according to GoFundMe raiser. Y' all horrible, bro. The. The. I mean, you just don't ever know. You never know what's gonna happen. And this dude, I mean, he's. He's got long scraggly hair and scraggly beard and. And I guess I always say you can't tell what a murderer looks like, but if you could. This dude, was it the. The. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. And you know, sounds like a really good case. And they're doing good police work and. And a heart goes out to Sadie's family and everybody that loved her, right? This is absolutely bizarre. The. The. Y', all, I want to play this little clip. The thing. This is a pretty amazing story. So let's just listen to it for a second. Well, you know what? I'm not going to. I have a video. Liam Reset. And it shows this lady, a nun or somebody in nuns attire, dragging a suitcase. This is a nighttime. And it's on a video camera. Right? The. And it's, you know, the. The nun was identified as Lorenzo Ramirez, y'. All. She's 80 years old, all right? And she's dragging a suitcase. And I don't have anywhere to show it to you or maybe so Cindy can get it up. I don't know. She's dragging a suitcase and it's a big ass suitcase the in Santiago, Chile right She's willing it slash dragging it down the streets and police identified her through closed circuit television footage after a pedestrian discovered the suitcase that she was dragging And y' all when they opened it up contain Lorenzo Ramirez, the 80 year old nun. It contained the body of her friend. Wow. All kinds make the world go around. Murder happens every day. Who knows about the face of evil. And I mean like Jim Chapman Sundays you're on TV somewhere every day. And that is proven not only in Sadie's case the but in this nun's case and y' all the the lady she killed was a another nun. She killed her and drove her down the street dumped her like trash literally. And the video shows her she's just she's having a struggle to drag as she's 80 years old dragged the the suitcase and she was dressed in blue and black robes of her religious order and the victim has not yet been named y' all had walked past a home where she was recorded Take it back the this what I told you the nun's name is what it was but this I just researched an earlier one the so they say you know the nun walks by in her robes etc and recording security system and again horrified pass by later found the body of the second nun who is 58 years old and this was on April 8th and that's when they called police the you know once this happened they they the police begin a full scale murder hunt and Santiago Chile and they I mean holy and one nun kills another 80 year old nun kills a 5058 year old nun. How does that happen? And then shoves her in the suitcase and drags her down the street again. Evil exists in all forms people. Yeah this is a little bit different. There's a couple things and again I was watching the show on TV the Last Cowboy by Taylor Sheridan and he's the one that did Yellowstone and the mayor of Tulsa and yeah all these shows that I like to watch and all the Yellowstone spin offs but he he brought in and he's actually on Yellowstone. I didn't know this until I was watching it but he brought money to this reigning competition in horses and anyway long story short he. He's. I'm going to get the quote wrong but he said you know what I'm a storyteller and he said just like Yellowstone he said the but you reigning the history of reigning. He said, you know, as a storyteller, I look at a story, I think, man, that's a good story, right? And. And I want to tell it. And. And then he said, then I realized I have the platform to do so, and that's why I do it. And that's. I want to throw those two at y', all, give you a little short something to tide you over to your next episode. Got some big, big changes coming and big changes coming. And I'll tell you all first. And that's it. And y', all, o' Hara's Pub. Welcome home, baby. Third street, downtown Baton Rouge, run by my good friend Brian Otto. You want to go in for a cold beer in an Irish pub where I'm gonna be at probably more than I should. But anyway, the. I'm not sure what dates you're gonna be getting this episode. I assume it's going to be before the. The grand opening this weekend. If y' all want to come down and hang out, drink, be there Friday and Saturday night. Shane's coming in from Wisconsin to Ford, I believe. But anyway, love y'. All. Thank you. Thank you, thank you. Stick. Stick with us a little bit longer. Working on the video stuff for Patreon and all that. We got some things shaking out, but I can't tell you yet because business is business. I love y'. All. Couldn't do it without you. In the July 24, 2025 episode of Real Life Real Crime, host Woody Overton delves into two harrowing true crime cases: the tragic disappearance and murder of 19-year-old Sadie Robinson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a shocking incident involving the murder of a nun in Santiago, Chile. Woody's compassionate storytelling and meticulous attention to detail provide listeners with a comprehensive understanding of these disturbing events.
Sadie Robinson, a beloved 19-year-old working at Pizza Shuttle in Milwaukee, was known for her reliability and vibrant personality. On April 1st, Sadie went on a first date with Maxwell Anderson, a 33-year-old bartender. She had expressed excitement about the date, saying, "I want to go eat seafood. I'm feeling seafood" (00:XX).
The following day, Sadie failed to show up for her shift, causing concern among her coworkers and friends. Her manager noted, "That's not like her at all" (02:XX), highlighting her consistent attendance and cheerful demeanor.
The Milwaukee Police Department initiated a welfare check, which led to the discovery of Sadie's severely burned 2020 Honda Civic on April 2nd at West Lipson Avenue and North 29th Street. Despite the extreme fire damage, firefighters identified Sadie's attire and parts of her damaged iPhone, confirming the vehicle's ownership (07:XX).
Later that day, authorities found a severed human leg on Warnermount Park Beach, identified through DNA analysis as belonging to Sadie Robinson. Detective Nathan Spittenmeister's team recovered surveillance footage showing a vehicle entering the park area shortly before Sadie's leg was found, indicating suspicious activity (09:XX).
Further evidence emerged when Maxwell Anderson was captured on surveillance video entering and leaving the area where Sadie's remains were discovered. Witnesses reported Anderson disposing of the vehicle and fleeing the scene, leading to his arrest on charges including first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson (25:XX).
Maxwell Anderson, a former employer of the establishment Sadie frequented, was charged with life imprisonment if convicted of first-degree murder—a charge that carries an automatic life sentence in Wisconsin. Anderson's defense attorney maintains his client's innocence, stating, "He is presumed innocent. We will fight this matter vigorously in court" (25:XX).
Sadie's family, particularly her mother Sheena Scarborough, expressed relief and a desire for justice, stating, "Justice for Sadie" (25:XX). The community mourns the loss of a promising young woman and stands united in supporting Sadie's memory.
Woody transitions to a chilling case from Santiago, Chile, where an 80-year-old nun, Lorenzo Ramirez, was found dragging a suitcase containing the body of her 58-year-old colleague down the streets at night. Surveillance footage captured the elderly nun struggling with the heavy suitcase, culminating in the discovery of her friend's lifeless body inside (33:XX).
Authorities are baffled by the motive behind the heinous act, as both individuals were part of the same religious order. The stark contrast between Lorenzo Ramirez's age and the nature of the crime raises questions about underlying tensions or possible disputes within the community.
The police have launched an extensive investigation to uncover the reasons behind the murder, examining the personal lives and relationships of those involved. As Woody remarks, "Evil exists in all forms" (35:XX), emphasizing the unpredictable nature of such crimes.
In this episode, Woody Overton masterfully unravels the complexities of two separate yet equally disturbing true crime cases. Through detailed narratives, he highlights the profound impact these tragedies have on the victims' families and communities. Woody's dedication to uncovering the truth and seeking justice shines through, providing listeners with both compelling stories and thoughtful reflections on the nature of evil and the pursuit of justice.
As Woody concludes, he reflects on the unpredictability of life and the omnipresence of crime, urging listeners to remain vigilant and supportive of those seeking closure and answers.
