And you know, I, I don't know that I've got to do a hashtag justice for since Thomas Morris has been arrested for the kidnapping of a young lady from up north and bringing her back to Wesley Shannon Parish arrested for kidnapping and false imprisonment. And then the sheriff originally said that they didn't say anything about Madison or anybody else that was missing. And later the same day came out and named Thomas Morris as a person of interest in the disappearance of Madison Renee Allen and Stephanie Hebia. I can tell you there's more than that. But at least they acknowledged that. And he got a half million dollar bond finally set and the investigators were working tirelessly. My hats off to them. I just can't thank them enough. The I know they're in full beast mode re interviewing people doing different things. And then guess what happened. And I've said this, I've said them, I've said it to everybody. You put cuffs on someone and watch the tips come in because the people that were sitting on the fence who were scared because they believe there was a serial killer out there. They. They were going to come forward. You know how I know this? Because I've been fucking doing this for 30 years. I know when you put the handcuffs on someone, that's why we do perp walks. Right? When you arrest a bad guy or bad girl, you march them in front of the camera. And yes, I was first one to call the cameras and have them outside waiting and hoping. In several cases, the bad people did make admissions to the media that f them. Right. But the, the when the media gets a hold of it and they turn it out and everybody gets to see that this person's been arrested and they were afraid of holy smoke. The tips roll in and they are rolling. Not only me hold it mine, my phone was melted, but I know the law enforcement phones were melting. And those guys and girls are working around the clock to follow up on every one of them. And yes, they have to be investigated. So a lot of stuff happening. So that being said, it's nice, it's going to be nice to get to do a true crime time for let's get down to true crime time for Wednesday, July 29th and on this day in 1933 Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, along with three friends, were involved in a deadly shootout after several months of robberies. Bonnie and Clyde had met three years prior and began their crime spree a year earlier with their friends William Jones, Buck Barrow and his wife Blanche. During the shootout, Barrow was shot and killed and Blanche was apprehended. After this incident, Bonnie and Clyde continued their dangerous crimes despite Jones being captured a few months later. Well, I can tell you how it ended. They got their ass shot up in North Louisiana. And I've seen the car, I've seen the photos and I've, I've, you know, seen the movies, I've read the books. I've done everything there is to do on that case. And back then, you know, think about it. The, it was snail mail only, no Internet, no whatever on that. I, I don't even think they, that had tv, they had radio was, was the big deal. And it was a sensational story because they were out terrorizing and killing. Now the, the people kind of put them on a pedestal. You know, you're going through the Great Depression and all this stuff, but you know what they were murdering pieces of. And in the end, they smoked them like a pack of cools. So there you have that. All right, let me get down to some stories. I mean, there's so many, so many crazy ones. And y', all, this is going to be about a day late because of Haley's story. And I did three back to back to so we can get it to the point of the call to action, but tons of going on in the world since I talked to you last. All right, we're going to Seattle, y'. All. Pieces of and they said a suspect was taken into custody and police were searching for a second suspect after three people were killed and four others were wounded Sunday in a mass shooting at the Seattle center, as according to Mayor Katie Wilson and the police. Wilson called the shooting an act of horrific violence, said impacted families are living through the worst moments of their lives and an entire community is trying to understand how a gathering built around culture, connection and joy ended in gunfire. No one should have to weigh the risk of being shot before attending an event, gathering with friends, or experiencing their city. Noel. You know what? She's absolutely right about that. As a police and emergency crews began arriving at the center shortly after 6pm the venue was hosting the Bite of Seattle Food Festival over the weekend. They said please avoid the area with Seattle police right on X. Police said one suspect has been arrested and they are searching for another. Investigators believe the two were shooting at each other and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The Seattle Fire Department said two people were pronounced dead at the scene after they attempted life saving procedures on them. Three other victims, including a 2 year old, were transported to hospital in stable condition while a fourth victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The Fire Department added that a fifth victim with minor injuries declined to be transported by first responders, but officials have since updated the death toll to three without specifying which was the latest victim. Harborview Medical center spokesperson Susan Gregg said the injuries to the four patients involved an arm, abdomen and the legs. Now remember, one of these is a two year old, y'. All. I understand getting shot in this adult, but a two year old? That's the age of my granddaughter who I spent an hour on the phone with yesterday on FaceTime watching her turn in circles. So she got seduced as she fell down. What do you think of this two year old thinks about getting shot? Whether it was in the abdomen, the arm or the legs, it really just gives me the red ass. But it said our first responsibilities are supporting grieving families, caring for the injured and providing clear and accurate information for the public, according to the mayor. Now Washington governor Bob Ferguson said he was receiving briefings and State Patrol SWAT officers responded to the scene to assist Seattle police. He also urged residents to avoid the area and follow law enforcement instructions. My prayers are with the families of the victims and their responders as they work to keep people safe, the governor said On X Fox Digital News reached out to the Seattle Police Department for additional information. Representative Pramila Japella said she was absolutely horrified by the shooting. My heart goes out to the victims and their families and all those impacted by this senseless violence. I am grateful to the officers and first responders who are at the scene and working to protect our community as well as the frontline medical professionals who are treating survivors. Tonight we agree with our community in Seattle as well as those around the country affected by gun violence and mass shootings. Well, I agree with you. King County Executive Jermaine Giselle, how you say it? Said he was horrified by the violence. Said as someone who grew up in this community, I know what this event means to so many families, young people and neighbors across our region. For years, the bite has been one of Seattle signature summer traditions. To see violence at a place that brings so many people together is heartbreaking and unacceptable. A lady named Kayla Karras, who's 22, says she was sitting outside the armory at the Bite of Seattle when people began to scream and run for cover inside the Seattle center armory. Everyone was just throwing stuff and running, like everyone. And Todd Burhans, who's 59, said he heard what appeared to be several rounds of shots. People began running and jumping over each other to escape. One woman fell. Someone stepped on her leg. And he said he saw a woman on the ground and a man on the stretcher as he ran towards an exit. The Harborview Medical center is on modified lockdown for the victim's safety following the mass casualty incident. And y', all, whatever. Yeah, it's just everywhere. Small cities, big cities, small towns, wherever. Makes me not want to leave the house, you know, I went to meet somebody on Madison's case the other day, and I had to meet him to pick up a piece of evidence. And the. The young waitress couldn't understand why I had to sit with my back to the wall, facing the door where I could see the whole restaurant. You know why? Because I'm always watching for shit like this. Isn't that a sad state where you. You have to be afraid to go out in public? That's the way that it is, you know, Here we go with another one. You know, we always end up doing stories about Walmart. You know why? I guess because everybody goes to Walmart, my family included. Or do the pickup stuff. So a Nevada woman got into an altercation with a shopper at a Las Vegas Walmart. Then she ordered her husband to bring a gun to the store, leading to the person she was beefing with being shot, as well as her husband, who wound up dying. This according to the cops and msn. Rekia Ward is facing charges of battery with a deadly weapon, disregard for the safety of persons or property, and conspiracy to commit battery in connection with the July 21 incident. An arrest report which was attained by the local NBC and Fox affiliates KSNV and kvvu respectively, say a Ward began fighting with a man identified as Kwame Swan, who was arguing with his girlfriend, Warden Swain. Warden Swain exchanged words in front of the Walmart after she walked past the couple and said something to him. This is what the police are saying. Well, punches as well as rocks were thrown. And Ward called up her husband, Travis Ward, to tell him to come help. Right. I'm in a fight. Come help. And she said, quotations, Bring a gun. Well, now, how do you fuck you think this is going to work out? And this is what witnesses said. She's telling. Calling her husband and tells him to bring a gun. And she said he's Inside, no shirt. That's what she told Travis Ward after he got to the store with a pistol. This all on the arrest report. Travis Ward allegedly whipped out the handgun and blasted Swain in the middle of the store, sending customers and employees scattering as police arrived. Now, the arrest report says he tried to shoot Swain multiple times, but his gun malfunctioned because he had a piece, cheap piece of shit pistol or he was what we call limp wrist. And if you don't hold it tight enough, they when the act, the chamber slides back. It won't, it won't peel the next bullet off the top of the magazine and chamber it. But officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, respondents to the Walmart located in the 5100 block of Boulder highway in East Las Vegas around 6am shortly after it opened and they found Travis Ward as he was walking out of the store with the gun still in his hand. I can already tell you how this is going to end. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department communications received a call for service stating that numerous subjects were involved in a physical altercation inside. As an officer arrived, he heard what he believed to be a gunshot coming from inside the business, immediately followed by a suspect exiting the business holding a firearm. That caused the officer to discharge his firearm, striking the suspect. And unfortunately for the suspect, the police actually practice with their weapons and they know how to shoot now. That's not an article. The next line is he was pronounced deceased on the scene. Smoked him like a pack of cools. Officers entered the Walmart and found Swain suffering from a gunshot wound. Quotations that mail was also provided immediate medical attention and transported to the hospital where he is currently in critical conditions, according to the police department. Captain, this is Shoppers who are at Walmart spoke to local media outlets about the chaos that unfolded in the store, calling it scary and completely unexpected. Well, nowadays it's really not unexpected, is it? Quotations. I literally came to get some Tylenol so I could do my morning walk and I came into a scene looking like Baghdad. A female shopper told the local ABC affiliate ktnb. Honestly, it was scary because a lot of families live in the area. I'm here all the time. So to hear something like this happen our local Walmart is crazy. I never thought it would happen over here. Well, news flash, it happens everywhere now. Prosecutors said in court last week that Ward and another woman who's was with her during the altercation with Swain, who's identified as a Mia Blue. They are ultimately to blame. It said this entire incident stems from a physical fight that was started by this defendant, the co defendant, and then enlisting someone to come and show up with a firearm, according to the prosecutor. It's time for family matters. Let me tell you about this next piece of a 42 year old Florida man put a 12 year old boy and a 14 year old girl through what they're calling heinous punishment that included forcing the boy to stay inside a laundry room without air conditioning. Now William Connor is a shitbag's name is facing two counts each of child abuse and child neglect. And it's according to the Volusia County Sheriff's office. They said the year's not over but this pos is on track to be scumbag of the year according to Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood. Thank you sir for being honest. Right deputy say the 12 year old boy was Connors main target. He deprived the boy of food and water and made the boy live in the detached laundry room. The room did not have air conditioner. Despite the brutal Sunshine state heat this court of law enforcement. The boy had to use a bucket as a toilet. Connor's abuse did not stop there. Additionally, the boy said Connor fed him food contaminated with animal feces and gave him water mixed with urine. This is in the police report. They said when the boy learned he vomited. The defendant's response right. Oh you so thirsty. As hot as here. Oh let me give you some water because I had you locked in this hot ass room. And when he drinks it he could taste the piss and he throws up. You know what the bad guy says? He laughed. He laughed at the boy. So Connor also allegedly sometimes forced the boy to stay awake all night and would blast audio into the room to torment him if he fell asleep. Y', all, that's some. That's some CIA deep ops for interrogations that you can't do on us soul. I mean sleep deprivation is a real MFR in itself. Now, the 14 year old girl was also subjected to some of the same treatment, and deputies be began investigating in May after the Department of Children and Families referred the case to the sheriff's office. Once cops established probable cause, they arrested Connor on Thursday. Now, in the fuck you think it took? May, June, July? I don't know. I'm sure that they did the best they could do. But Samantha Lucas, who's 33, was also arrested as part of the case and is facing two counts of child neglect. And here's the unfortunate thing. Both suspects have since posted bond and they're not due back in court until August. But thankfully, the children are no longer in their custody. Bro. And I, I, I know I'm the hard ass, but kill that. Save our bison time. It's time for family matters. You know, normally I, I don't like to do murder suicide stories simply because I believe that they lead to more suicides. Somebody's listening, thinking about it. We didn't do it in law enforcement either. If, you know, I worked a thousand of them and you go out and you prove it's suicide, you don't do a news release about it, Right? Because somebody else is out there hurting and they might think that's the easy way out to, yeah, if you're thinking about suicide, call anybody. Call me. Don't do it, please. And if you ever find, they ever find Woody Overton and they say it's suicide, call a homicide investigator, because I ain't doing it. But if we're going to Oklahoma. An Oklahoma woman known for posting on social media about parenting her children was fatally shot in an apparent murder suicide by her estranged husband a short time after she published the clip alluding to allegations that he had molested a minor. And this, according to authorities and court records. Sarah Duffy, who was 43 and also went by Sarah Gilson and Jeremiah Sean Duffy, who's 48, were both found dead with gunshot wounds on Thursday at a home in the suburban Tulsa, Oklahoma. Right this, according to police, investigators, suspected that Jeremiah had shot Sarah and then himself. She had sought a protective order on June 10, which meant to keep Jeremiah away from the couple's home in the Oklahoma city of Collinsville. On the same day, another woman filed for a protected order aimed at keeping Jeremy away from her daughter. And this is in Tulsa state court records. Jeremiah had been caught by a fellow youth basketball coach, kissing and fondling the girl, who later told her mother that Jeremiah had sent her inappropriate text messages, invited her to his hotel room while traveling and even gave her money meant to keep her quiet. And it's all in the protective orders and the legal papers and this According to the Oklahoma newspaper. Those allegations were reports of police in the city of Owasso, which is adjacent to Collinsville. Sarah's filing echoed the accusations, but added that Jeremiah had a firearm and threatened suicide and went on the run. He ran like a little because you got your ass found out. You ran like a little huh? Well Sarah on the July 11 then posted a video to her tens of thousands of followers on the Tick tock platform which showed her sitting down on a chair while somber face under text reading preparing for when Netflix drops a documentary about my soon to be ex husband who I just found out is a pedophile. I wish I was joking. Sarah run under her tik tok handle what where this she otherwise was posted commentary on fashion Trends and her two kids. But it was 12 days later when police said they received at 11:15pm they received an emergency call from inside Sarah's home in Collinsville and a woman could be heard screaming amid what sounded to be a gunshot. And it's what the police told the NBC News. A second emergency call then came from a neighboring home. It was a boy who'd gone to a neighbor and reported that his stepfather had shot his mother. Can you imagine you did in front of your fucking kids? Yeah, I mean if you're going to do it, don't do it in front of your kid. Don't do it at all. But you're going to do it. Don't do it in front of your kids. So they have to go call 911. Police said they found the bodies of Sarah and Jeremiah when they arrived to investigate and while the case remained under investigation, police said all indications were that he killed her before he was a and committed suicide. Sarah's son was put in the custody of another parent who was uninvolved in the case. And it said news of Sarah's killing resulted in a wide circulation of her July 11 video, which as of Sunday it had already got over 15 million views. It was also a stark reminder of how in the US more than half of female homicide victims are killed by current or former male intimate partners. And this according to the the crime report from the center for Disease Control convention. Just like hashtag justice for Haley y' all looks cleary Murder Coco's case murder actually Mary Pochette's case murder by her husband of 40 something years. Anyway, the same data about cited by CDC shows that about 20% of the homicide victims die at the hands of an intimate partner. Yeah, that's crazy. And y', all, they set up a fundraiser for her kids and all that, but just what a. You know, you're a pedophile, you get called least be man enough to just go to jail. Don't kill your wife, especially, I mean, in front of your kids. Fuck him. Trying to find something positive to end it on. All right, I got one for you. Now I'm going to tell you about another successful case. And an idiot bad guy named James Lawhead pled guilty in June to the 1991 kidnapping, murder and rape of a 35 year old mother, Cindy Weiner. And James Lawhead was sentenced on July 14 to life without the possibility of parole. For the 19. Again, I must say it, for the 1991. I was 21 years old, y'. All. Kidnapping, rape and murder of Cindy weiner, who was 35 and vanished from her home in Granite Bay, California. Now, when Weiner's husband returned home later that day, he found their 11 month old baby crying in a high chair. Weiner's coat, shoes and car had all been left behind and authorities found no signs of forced entry. Nearly three weeks later, on December 14, 1991, her body was found in a wooded area near Forest Hill, which is a town 35 miles north of where she was from where she was abducted. Authorities determined she had died from strangulation. Most intimate killing there is. Well, case went cold. Like cases D.91. That's sad. I can't even tell you how many years it's been, but 91, 2001, 1121. It's been 30 some years, like 35 years. Investigators made a breakthrough this year when new forensic testing of evidence from the original investigation produced our great friend a DNA profile. And it matched Lawhead. Further investigation by the Placer County Sheriff's Office Cold case unit revealed that Lawhead, who was then 30, was on parole after serving 11 years in prison for several violent sex crimes, including child sex crimes, all at the time of the murder. Detectives found no records associated with Lawhead after 2005, and they suspected. You know what? There's nothing to be found. He must be living under a false identity. Well, guess what? Facial recognition technology, another thing we didn't have in my day. Facial recognition technology helped authorities locate him in Bullhead City, Arizona, where he was living under the name Vincent Reynolds Lawhead was arrested on April 30 and he pled guilty on June 16, less than seven weeks later. Isn't that sweet? Seven weeks. Seven weeks. Now think about if he hadn't pled guilty he would get all the pills and everything else. Is his 30s, I don't know however long murder he pled out in seven weeks because he's a bitch and he's already been in the system however many times. But they said in my 36 year career, I don't know that I've ever seen a homicide case of this nature moved from arrest to conviction so quickly once the breakthrough occurred. And this according to Placer County Sheriff Wayne Wu. Shout out to you sir, he said this crime deeply shook our community. And while nothing can erase the pain this family has endured for the past 35 years, I hope today's outcome provides them with answers and allows them to begin move moving forward with the knowledge of what happened to their loved one. Right? Wow, that is a good story. Now. It's a horrible story actually. Horrible story from a swan winer. And thank God the 11 month old baby isn't going to remember anything. And I'm sure she was raped and strangled and everything else, but this dude got away with it for all those years. What's great about the story is never give up, never surrender. Ms. Barbara Blunt. Sweet. I know you're out there. We know you're murdered. We just need some more evidence to get it beyond a reasonable doubt. So y' all calling your tips. Bradley Stracer. No, he's out there.
