on this day in 1962, three inmates at Alcatraz Prison, John Anglin, Clarence Anglin, and Frank Morris, they attempted an escape. Now, there's a big, big controversy about this, but I'll get to in a second. The three men had created plaster heads that were placed in their beds to fool the prison guards. Right. When you walk by the cell, you supposed to see a human even when they're sleeping. Alan west was planning to escape with the other inmates, but was unprepared. And then they left his ass behind. The Anglin brothers and Morris climbed through the ventilator to get to the roof and then snuck to the northeast shore of the island where they launched their homemade watercraft. And the FBI say that the escapees died during the escape, but that's unconfirmed. That's what I want to talk about. I actually watch documentaries. Of course I watched the the movie with Clint Eastwood. But over the years I watched different documentaries that have come up and it's believed like that Morris actually drowned in the latest was that the two brothers made it. I think it was to Alabama. And we're living on a rural farm. And it took Assumed identities and they had somewhat proof from documents from the family and whatever. Maybe it was just tv, I don't know. But you know Alcatraz island, great place for a prison, right? And then in the 20s and 30s and 40s until it wasn't because it costs so much to run because it's an island in the middle of the bay and everybody and everything that goes there, including prisoners, but all your food, your correctional officers, everything had to be transport over by boat. And then of course prisons get old and outdated and they, they ended up closing it for those reasons. But that these were the only three who were never found that tried to escape from Alcatraz. How about that? And it is what it is. But yeah, I mean they sent you to send all the famous prisoners, the federal ones, al Capone, Dillinger, etc. Etc. They sent them there because it's pretty much impossible to escape from. Not saying you can't do it, but the, the, those currents in that bay are like the Mississippi River. When there's high water, you can see shit going different directions and the unit. And that water's cold though, and you'd have to really be a hell of a, a hell of a swimmer to get out of there alive. So.

about Carmel Carmelo Anthony, right? We're going to go on to Texas. And a Collin county jury has found Camelo Anthony guilty of murder in the fatal stabbing of a 17 year old memorial High School student, Austin Metcalfe during the high school track meet in Frisco, Texas. Now I told you about this. In the past years I've covered this story. So the. They said this verdict followed days of emotional testimony from student athletes, police officers, forensic experts and coaches who described the confrontation that ended with Metcalfe's death at the Kukendall Stadium on April 2nd of 2025 said the verdict was reached just after three hours of deliberation. Right. And three hours after closing arguments. Jury goes in.

like the trials I've been involved with. When they come back that quick, then it's not even a question like Courtney Coco's, but all the ones that I did in law enforcement.

worse it is for the defense. So Anthony, who was 17 at the time, admitted he stabbed Metcalf but claimed he acted in self defense. Before the verdict was read, they had more than 100 pro testers split between supporters of Metcalf and Anthony. They were outside the courthouse waiting for the verdict announcement, and the tensions were, you know, so thick you cut them with a knife. But immediately following the development, at least one protester was taken into custody after a fight broke out outside the courthouse house. At the center of the case was a confrontation that unfolded beneath a Memorial High School team during a rainy track meet attended by schools from across North Texas. And according to trial testimony, Anthony, who was a student from a different school, sat beneath the Memorial tent shortly before the confrontation began. Several student athletes testified that they questioned why he was there and repeatedly asked him to leave. Like, dude, go sit underneath your own tent, right? Witnesses told jurors that Austin's Metcalf eventually approached Anthony and asked him to move. One student testified that Anthony was asked to leave roughly 15 times. Well, he didn't leave the first five. He probably isn't going to leave on the 15th in multiple witnesses, recalled Anthem respond with statements such as, touch me and you'll find out, and if you want me to move, you're gonna have to move me. Well, I mean this. At some point, somebody should have one got a teacher or a coach or something. But several students testified that Anthony became increasingly aggressive as the exchange continued. One witness told jurors it appeared that Anthony was provoking Metcalf, while another testified it looked like Anthony was looking for a fight. Multiple witnesses said they did not believe Metcalf wants a fight with one recall Meth calf saying, I'm not going to fight you at a track meet. Witnesses also repeatedly reference Anthony keeping one hand inside his backpack during the exchange. Like maybe all the other kids nowadays, he's got a gun. Possibly. But Anthony was bluffing when he suggested he had something in his bag. The confrontation turned physical moments later. Witnesses gave different accounts about exactly how Metcalf touched Anthony before the stabbing, with some describing a shove and others describing a grab. Testimony also varied on whether Metcalf used one hand or two. Anthony then stabbed Metcalf in the chest. This according to the testimony. Several students said they initially believed that Anthony was bluffing. One witness testified that he did not realize Metcalf had been stabbed until he saw Anthony throw an object into the bleachers. Another recalled hearing Metcalf say, oh, my God. Prosecutors argue that Anthony escalated a verbal disagreement into a deadly encounter by pulling a knife from his backpack and stabbing the unarmed teenager. To support that argument, prosecutors called 21 witnesses, including students who witnessed the confrontation, investigators who processed the crime scene, and the medical examiner who performed Metcalf's autopsy. Several student witnesses testified that Anthony was their aggressor and that the stabbing did not appear to be an act of self defense. One witness testified that no one attempted to gang up on Anthony and described the physical contact before the stabbing as minor pushing at most. Another witness testified that Anthony appeared to be looking for a fight. Jurors also heard testimony that Anthony told an officer after the stabbing, I'm not alleged I did it. He put his hands on me. I told him not to. Well, I mean, at that point, it's simply a matter of a jury saying if it's self defense or not. So. The medical examiner's testimony was among the most difficult moments of the trial. Mechanic's family left the courtroom while the autopsy photos were shown to the jury and his injuries were described in detail. That y', all, I would advise any family to leave and always have advised the families and let them walk out before they show the pictures, because it's not just the pictures of the injuries. It's picture your naked dead loved one cut open on a table and nobody wants to see that. Defense attorneys argue that Anthony acted in self defense after being confronted by a larger student and physically touched during the dispute and throughout the trial. Defense attorneys emphasized that Anthony was seated for much of the confrontation while Metcalf and other students were standing nearby. Testimony indicated that Metcalf outweighed Anthony by roughly 50 to 60 pounds. Defense attorneys also highlighted inconsistencies among witness accounts regarding where students were positioned, how many hands Metcalf used when touching Anthony, and who was standing nearby at the time of the confrontation. Yeah, I don't know why they say confrontation is a stabbing, right? Whether it's the self defense or not, it was a stabbing. The dude died. Anthony's track coach testified that athletes from different schools routinely mingle at track meets and said his team lacked enough volunteers to set up a tent that day. He acknowledged, however, that students should leave if asked to leave another team's tent. One of Anthony's friends testified that he had previously spent time under tents belonging to other schools without issue, but said he would leave if they asked him to. Defense witnesses also points to testimony that another student under the tent knew Anthony and greeted him when he arrived. After the prosecution rested his case, defense attorneys moved for a directed verdict, arguing that prosecutors had failed to prove their case. Well, y', all, they do that in every trial. I mean, the judge just might be fucking crazy and just rule it in of and get it thrown out so that don't think that that didn't happen every time because it does so they talk about the emotional tool. As I say. The trial frequently shifted from legal arguments to raw emotion. And this is. Several teenage witnesses became emotional while recounting the events. The stabbing of on April 2nd of 2025. One testified while holding the football because it helped calm his nerves. Another gripped a yellow stress ball through his testimony. Now, that might be a play on the defensive prosecution part. I can't. I've never seen anybody have emotional support device on the stand, but whatever. That witness, the football player and a track athlete, told jurors that his father had recently been murdered in California. And he described Metcalfe as a football captain and a mentor who believed in him. A recent Liberty High School graduate became emotional while recalling seeing Metcalf bleeding after the stabbing. Well, you know what? Regular people are going to be fucked up by this and we become desensitized to it. Maybe y' all do because you're crime fanatics and. And I do because I've seen it so many times. But regular people go. Go through their entire lives without in a live person stabbed to death, right. Or shot to death or whatever. And that's why I keep trying to push it upon y' all about these cases that we're working, the Madison's and everybody else's that this is. These are real people. So. Witnesses repeatedly described Metcalfe as a leader, a teammate and a role model. One student testified that Metcalf was always leading and always protecting us. Another recalled Metcalf telling Anthony, I'm not going to fight you to track me, which I already told y'. All. The trial also brought renewed attention to the devastation suffered by the Metcalf family. And Austin twin brother Hunter witnessed the stabbing and was with Austin in his final moments. And I'm pretty sure that him up but Austin. Metcalfe's father, Jeff Metcalf, has repeatedly spoken publicly about losing his son. Said Austin was the light of my life. Said I don't know, he said. He said his son died in Hunter's arms. Said this person made a bad choice and affected both his family and my family forever. So. And even though his son is dead, he has publicly expressed forgiveness for Anthony, which he's a lot better person than me, I guess. And quotations. People ask me, how can you forgive this other person? He said, I forgive the other person because the forgiveness is not for him. The forgiveness is for me, so I can have peace. His life is destroyed, my life is destroyed. Pretty powerful, right? The. I don't know. There's a lot more to it. We won't go any further into it that that just came out on Fox News, y'. All. A Kaiser mother is accused of trying to kill her three children Fox 12's McKenna Marks is live outside the Marion County Courthouse on this Monday. This is where the mother made her first court appearance today. McKenna Such a sad story. Yeah, that's right Anna. 32 year old Chardonnay Benavidez is now facing three charges of attempted murder. This all happened on Saturday and according to Kaiser police, Benavidez called 911 to report that her three young children were going in and out of consciousness after she allegedly tried to kill them and herself with carbon monoxide. Officers with the Kaiser Police Department responded to this home located on Holly Court around 8:30 Saturday night. According to police. Officers found 32 year old Chardonnay Benavidez in the living room with her two year old twin boys and four year old son. All four people were taken to the hospital and treated for carbon monoxide poisoning. According to police. Benavidez is accused of trying to kill her three children and herself. Stacey came to law enforcement when she called 911 to report that she took herself and her three children in a vehicle with the exhaust on. Kaiser police says officers found a car in the garage with a makeshift apparatus running from the exhaust pipe to inside the car. According to police. The Kaiser Fire District also responded and had to vent the garage before police went inside due to the amount of carbon monoxide still there. In court on Monday, the prosecution claimed that Benavidez planned the attempted murders. The defendant told law enforcement that she'd been planning this, researching it for about a week prior to doing this. There were multiple options she was considering as she landed on this option as one where they would all just fall asleep together. Police say the three children were Medically cleared and released to their father on Sunday. According to court documents, Benavidez and her children's father divorced in 2024. Court documents also show that Benavidez had sole custody of the children. Benavidez was seen by psychiatric staff at the hospital before she was transported to the Marion County Correctional Facility. She is facing three counts of attempted murder in the first degree and three counts of attempted assault in the first degree. And according to. Because of the nature of these charges, excuse me. The judge denied bail today. Benavidez will be back in court next week on June 17th. For now, reporting live from Salem McKenna

Don't take out innocent people. You take yourself out. That's on you. You're a grown ass person. But your three babies now and, and they live. That's almost as bad as them dying. Now they have lived the rest of their life knowing their mother is in prison for trying to kill them. That's out there, bro. Just don't know. Do not know. And let's go to Ohio. And I don't even know what class to put this under, But it's not going to end well for this dude, I can tell you that. So an Ohio man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman who later died from injuries. Was reportedly held on a $2 million bond after prosecutors described the attack as exceptionally violent. All right, first of all, it's not an attack. It's a rape. Rape, rape, rape. And there's no rape. That's not violent. Even if the person just lays there and fight flight or freeze and takes it right, it's still a violent crime. And anyway, online records with the Summit County Sheriff's office show that 41 year old Adam Richardson was charged with murder, rape and felonious assault. The local WJW reported that Richardson appeared in court on Friday and did not enter a plea. And they added that Summit county medical Examiner's office identified the woman as 48 year old Amy Beth Berkhouse. In a news release, the sheriff's office said detectives executed a search warrant at Richardson's house on Wednesday. And y', all, that was nearly more than 10 months since this lady was attacked or raped and then died right during this search. On the search warrant, investigators said they had recovered electronic devices, illegal drugs in cash as the case dates back to 2025 after the sheriff's office said a woman who was later identified as Berkhouse called 911 to report she had been sexually assaulted. Raped. Deputies responses seen and the woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment. But she later died from her injuries sustained during the assault. Again injuries during the course of her being raped. Citing an affidavit, the local WJW reported that Burkhouse told authorities Richardson punched her in the head multiple times as well as choked and raped her. She later suffered a spinal stroke after a blood clot traveled to her spine leaving her paralyzed. Horrible. The, I mean, you know, the blood clot, I work case like that, you don't even know it might happen two days later. But it happened. They can prove it medically happened because of the, the blows that she took to that area of the body. So the sheriff's office said Berkhouse reported the rape on August 30, was admitted to the hospital on September 7 and died on December 16. So again, you've heard me say this before. That's September, October, November and half of December. So basically for three and a half months, this lady died from that rape. From the moment he raped her, he was murdering her for three and a half months. Detectives launched an investigation and identified Richardson as the suspect. He was arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail where he remains in custody. And they said they might file more charges as the investigation continues and forensic evidence is analyzed. The if convicted of the most serious charges. I'm looking at my map real quick. I already know this. I should know. Well, it's on moratorium so they have it. If convicted of the most serious charges, he could face a lengthy prison sentence. I don't understand that. And if he does eventually die from his injuries, Stroud could still face a murder charge even with this guilty plea. I guess that's not Cobb County, Georgia. There's no double jeopardy on that. And she's going to be sentenced next month. They gonna love her in women's prison. Just family matters, right?

So we tell you about a guy and he's believed to be suit and knees, and he's been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a brutal knife attack in Belfast and Ireland. Right. The man in his 30s remains in custody after the incident in North Belfast on Monday. They said police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.

believe to be a kitchen knife at the scene. And now here comes the videos. Right. So video circle circulating online shows a number of people, including one wielding a hurling stick, which I don't. I guess it's some European sport. They, they were actually confronting the attacker until the police arrived. So shout out for them the man who was injured in an attack, who's in his 40s, is in the hospital where he's in serious condition and police said he had serious slash wounds to his back and face and had eye injuries as well. So the Home Office said the attacker was on leave to the to remain in the UK until 2028 and he entered the UK in 2023 and was granted a refugee status the same year. They said the individual claims to have entered the UK via the Common Travel area. In an initial statement from the PSNI on Tuesday morning said police believe the attacker was Somali but have since confirmed he is in fact Sudanese. The Chief Constable John Butcher said he understood the suspect made his way from Sudan to Paris before flying to Dublin and then traveling by bus to Belfast and back in February 2023 and that's February 10th to be his act and that's the same day he claimed for asylum. Said there is no trace of this suspect on any of our national security databases and he was not known to the Police Police Service of Northern Ireland and they said he had pleads to the public to please let the PSNI to let the police to do their jobs unfettered and undistracted by wider concerns that may be about disorder. I guess that's what all the bullshit going on now they said do not let people who know nothing about Northern Ireland impact on the behaviors of our people in Northern Ireland from afar through social media well I'm impacting it because I'm telling you about it on true crime time for so the they said at this stage we have no information to suggest this was a terrorist related incident. And but he said and stress the investigation is in its early stages. The victim remains in serious condition and they're asking the public not to speculate. I don't know what the that's about. I guess they don't want people to start taking it out on anybody who's sued in these leaving living in the country. Right The Let me tell you a little bit more about the incident. A local resident who doesn't want to be named and who called the police after the attack says she was standing in the street shaking while she's calling 911 or whatever they have it 119 or whatever they use she told BBC News how she was in her home with her partner and children when they heard screaming outside. She said the delivery driver handed her phone so she could talk to it's 999 that's her 911 and she said you just need to get here. He's gonna die.

I don't even know what this next story. I definitely don't know what kind of category to put it under, but you know how I feel about racism. Here we go. This, this one has it all. Has all the modern day bullshit that I hate. So they said a right wing live streamer which everybody does now, right? Not right wing. But the live streaming is at risk of getting evicted after a judge set his bond at $1 million last week. So his name is Dalton Etherly who's also known as Chud C H U D the Builder online assist go to right his followers follow him underneath. He's accused of multiple criminal charges across middle Middle Tennessee. So we're not talking about one incident in one place but all, you know, the whole middle of the state. And he appeared in court Friday for a bond hearing hoping to get his bond reduced. Well, a Montgomery county judge said the amount had to be at least 1 million because of Ethel Lee's other pending charges in Davison County. And he added that Ethel was out of jail when he did those other charges. Right. Or he called the other charges said I understand Mr. Eastley has caused members of the community to be offended, but that shouldn't affect bail. That's according to Easley's attorney. The attorney, Jacob Finley made the motion to lower the bond, saying 1 million is a lot for a shooting, especially when the person shot. Joshua Fox didn't die, motherfucker, let him shoot you and see how much you want the bond to be. But the shooting happened on May 13 and Eth Will, he was arrested in Nashville for failing to pay for his meal and being disruptive just days before. You just can't make it up. The district attorney General, Robert J. Nash, argued that Ether Lease social media posts and actions are at the center of the case. Y', all, this is where it really pisses you off, he said.

As of Monday, the Tennessean reported that multiple people have stepped up to bail Etherly out of jail. And that's fucked up in itself. One Texas man even offered $500,000 to secure the controversial live streamers release and. But he's still in custody. Y'. All. The. Whatever. Let me see if I can play this video. All right, we're going out to Pennsylvania and this one, I want to end it on some positive. The. This is a bizarre story, right? They said when something goes wrong down the street, residents typically expect A minor dispute or a messy loan. But sometimes a routine pest complaint. But sometimes a routine pest complaint uncovers total chaos. And it's by People magazine. So neighbors in a small Pennsylvania town have been complaining about an aggressive rat infestation for weeks. And so local code enforcement officers went to look into the problem at one home in Roast Raver. And they got there, they were looking

So they get inside the house and the officials find a massive hoarding situation involving dozens of farm animals. Right. Not supposed to happen. And this is why it's a crime. Police arrested the 59 year old homeowner, Wendy Kramer, and charged her with public nuisance offense. Following the grim discovery, they said the condition inside the Route 51 properties were so severe that local teams had to spend hours clearing out the building. And

out, they condemned it. And according to a local TV station, wxpi, teams had to use multiple trailers just to transport animals away from the site. The township manager, Jeffrey Keffer, described the chaotic scene inside the house to local reporters. He said, unbelievable. It's unbelievable in there. And the rescue operation required massive coordination from multiple local agencies. And this is a quotation. Check this out. Said we were chasing pigs and corralling pigs because there were so many, we had to make multiple trips. I think there were three trailer loads full of just pigs. This is inside this woman's house. So criminal complaint revealed that Kramer claimed she was running an animal rescue on the property. She had even set up a website to raise money for the operation. But police found the actual living conditions to be deeply troubling. Officers discovered roughly 50 pigs. Look, I don't mean, I don't care if it's a guinea pig. They still get big. Pigs get big, right? Turn into hogs. Officers discover roughly 50 pigs packed tightly into a tiny space alongside several dogs and cats and Roast Raver. Police Chief Scott Sokols described this scene as horrifying. We found abhorrent conditions, filth to a level that you could not believe. There were rats present. We found a large number of pigs corralled on the property. And according to the local CBS affiliate kdka, the extreme buildup of trash at the home is what originally drew the massive colony of rats to the area. The pests quickly multiplied and began invading other nearby homes. On a neighboring street, y'. All. And that's then they took her to jail. And she is currently waiting for her preliminary court hearing, which is Scheduled to take place on July 13th. Let's talk about it one second. I mean, come on man, you live in a neighborhood, you got 50 pigs inside and all kinds of animals and all the trash and you, you attract the rats or rats are going to multiply just like pigs. And then they, you know, you work hard every day so you can have a nice home and your neighbor next door is a. And violate on whatever they arrested for violations of codes and what have you. Not being allowed to have all those animals inside a residential home. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's going to fuck up your property values to start with. But then you're going to have to deal with the overflow and the aftermath, which in this case was rats going to other people's house. Can you imagine that being a man in the house? And your wife's like Cindy was telling me today, I was sitting in my chair, she said what's that clicking noise over there? I said I don't hear any clicking noise. She's almost never in that room. And she said it's a clicking noise. I said I don't hear a clicking noise. But I said what are you afraid of? And she's afraid it was a mouse or something. Right. Can you imagine being a man in the house and seeing big ass rats running through. Well, you never had them before. So. All right, let me see if I can find some positive to end it on. All right, I'll try to end it on a positive note. You know, I love cold cases and we never give up, we never surrender. And I'm going to tell you about a cold case of assault after 33 years because of DNA evidence. And it led to the arrest of Albert Buddy ziegler for the 1993 murder of Randy Gill Spirano. And so it's a three decade old murder mystery and this it's finally being solved thanks to advancements in DNA technology. And in 1993 the body of 33 year old woman Randy Gill Spierno was discovered in a rural field in Granite City. And they said despite an extensive investigation, detectives were unable to arrest any suspects in the case. Now 33 years later, forensic genetic genealogy has helped identify a suspect. And this dude's name is Albert L. Buddy ziggler and he's 70 years old now. And they arrested him in Casey Bill on accusations of killing Spierno. Ziggler is facing two council first degree murder in Madison county where he's currently being held in jail. But this murder took place on November 9, 1993. Y'. All. And according to witnesses, spirit of his last scene entering a dark colored pickup truck around 8pm around four hours later, her body was found near Horseshoe Lake Road and. And Hanfelder Road. The medical examiner determined she died of blunt force trauma to the head. Personal investigators collected DNA evidence from the scene and spent years interviewing numerous witnesses. Y', all, back then, DNA wasn't even proven. The roughest form the when they say they collected DNA evidence, they just collected evidence because you weren't even trained to collect DNA evidence back then. And this just so happens they still had this years later. So they spent years interviewing numerous witnesses. However happens the case went cold and there's no breakthrough. Back then when the DNA starts becoming used, they. They tested it, but back then it was different kind of DNA tests. Not what they can do now, right? And they tested it. But every new type of DNA testing that came out, they were tested and still wasn't enough. So. But finally, with advancements in investigative genetic genealogy, detectives sought help from the Texas based laboratory Orthram. We love those people, right? And the lab examined the DNA and was able to link it to Ziggler. And according to prosecutors, Zigler picked up Sereno in his truck and took her to his home. He then struck her in the head and bludgeon her death and dumped her body in a rural field. And this, my friends, is why you never give up. Listen to this. I want to say thank you. I'll finally get closure, my family, I finally know who did this. And now I can be able to progress through life and open up a new door, a different chapter. That is the son of the victim, Wesley sprano, who is 15 years old at the time of her death. And he thanked investigators for not giving up on the case. And he said, I never thought this, this day would come. I thought I might pass and never know. But all that changed thanks to these guys behind me and to my side. And he added that with the identification of the suspect, he could finally move forward in life. And he said, I want to say thank you. I finally get closure, my family. I finally know who did this. And now I could be able to progress through life and open up a new door and a different chapter. Y' all shout out to the detectives who are actually working these cases, right?
