So I have a story out of Queensland, Australia, and it's also a planes train. Well, it might not be technically that. There was a young girl, 17 year old young girl named Phoebe Bishop and she was in Bunaberg, Queensland. And it's very strange. On May 13, she did a TikTok at a cafe at a local cafe. She's sitting there and she has a mock coffee date with her younger self.

So she's sitting there having a conversation with her younger self and it ends.

Up being, I'd be having a beer with my younger self.

So she spoke of fractured family ties and a journey to find herself trying.

To like give her younger self advice. Yeah, you ever see that people she's telling, if you could go back and tell your younger self something, what would it be? I'd be like, run. Run.

So there's a. There's right. There's a thing now in counseling and therapy where you help your childhood trauma. So you address yourself in the childhood trauma and you talk to that inner, that younger self and say, it's okay. Like, I love you.

[Woody Overton]

It's okay, young Woody. I love you.

And so she's like, she's having this conversation. She's like, the older self is, are you okay? And the younger self is responding, saying like, like you care. And then you go. And she just keeps going back and forth having this conversation be like, what the is this? Huh?

My younger self be like, what the is this? My older self talking to me. My younger self would Freak out if I showed up and talked to him.

Would your older self freak up? Well, your younger self talks to you all the time. You have the mentality of your younger self.

I'm sorry, I don't mean keep messing up your story.

So that was on May 13th. Well on May 15th she woke up late. She was getting to the. She was going on a trip because on the 13th she's talking about going and finding herself and all of this thing stuff. So on the 15th she had a trip planned to go visit her boyfriend. Boyfriend. And her boyfriend is in.

She could put some of her younger self on her boyfriend.

Perth, not that much younger because she's 17. So.

[Woody Overton]

I missed that.

[Unnamed Guest]

Maybe she just how the.

[Woody Overton]

You need to be in counseling 17.

Talking to your younger self because apparently she had.

I mean I'm not that much stuff.

Happens when you're younger. I mean just look at Miss Tina. I mean. Okay, so. But she's frustrated. Now this is the part I don't understand because she's in this house, it's a rented house with two other older people in their 30s. But she's 17 and she still has communication with her mom. So I don't know the living situation.

Where you're young herself.

Right. But anyway she wakes up frustrated because she's, she's late to get to the airport. Apparently this is what she. The police have now been told. And so she was dropped off around 8:30 on Airport Drive near Bundaberg Regional Airport in a gray Hyundai ix35. And she had a. Like I said, she had a flight booked to Brisbane and then from there she would go to Perth and that was to see her boyfriend Levi.

Okay.

And however she never checked in. The people dropped her off at the airport, she never checked in and she is never seen entering the terminal.

The police later stated that there were no signs of her boarding the flight.

[Woody Overton]

Right.

So and on May 19, obviously people begin. Well not obviously, on May 19 people start searching for her and her mom reports her missing. And because she hadn't heard from her, she never got to see her boyfriend. Like she never arrived at the airport to see her boyfriend. Whatever. So authorities, the police start looking at what happened and they decide that the residence where she lived in Jinjin and the grey Hyundai are the two crime scenes. And specialist units including divers and dog squads searched a place called Goodnight Scrub national park and the surrounding bushland and waterways. So there's a big search going on for her. The mom is quoted at this time as saying this is the worst case Scenario.

And how do they know there's a crime scene that say, is it blood.

Or so on June 4th, after nearly three weeks, 34 year old housemate James Wood was taken into custody to assist police. And no charges were laid at that point. Wood had previously described the morning of Phoebe's, you know, going to the airport that she was upset because she missed her alarm. And then the other roommate, Tamika Bromley, who was 33, said she gave her space like so apparently they gave her space before their disappearance. They're kind of pulling their way from it, making it look like she wasn't like the poor girl wasn't in a good. Phoebe wasn't in a good headspace and whatever. But police charged Wood and Bromley with murder and they had two counts of interfering with a corpse. Allegedly Phoebe's body had been moved multiple times and they remain in custody. On June 6, they discovered her body at around 2:30pm the police did. Where specialist police teams located human remains near Goodnight Scrub national park, raising hopes that it could be Phoebe. And a crime scene was immediately declared. Kylie Johnson posted on Facebook, this is. That's her mom. This is ripping me apart. And police confirmed the remains are unverified, but that forensic testing and family notifications are underway. So they're saying that this body that they found is definitely Phoebe's but they don't have the DNA to prove it. And they've arrested the two roommates and that's all we know at that at this time, unless there's been an update. But this young girl.

So we don't even know if she woke up late for the airport.

No, no, we don't know what the roommate said was. The only thing we know was that she left, that she did that TikTok and she didn't get on her plane and she is dead, so she did.

I guess the purpose of the tick tock is just to say it's tick tock and that she's going to see her boyfriend. Yeah, okay. Yeah, she'd be dead. And hopefully they get. I wonder if Australia has it. Does Australia have the death penalty?

No, it's been abolished. It's crazy. Australia started as a penal colony, right? They would have some more serious. All right, y' all ready for some true crime? The. Well, you know what? Let's just talk about somebody who's real special. Special in everyone's heart. Except for. Except for these people that aren't. He's not special in their heart. It's time for beast mode. We are Going to Kentucky. Right. Kentucky Bourbon, Kentucky Derby. They got lots of, you know, Buffalo Trace and Eagles Rare and all that's made in the same distillery. Very famous for their. For their alcohol. Right. And a guy named Jonathan Mason had gone to the Big Apple Grilling bar on Friday, June 6th. And you know, the bar was open for business and everything and there were people in there. But the deal was he wasn't supposed to be at the Big Apple Grilling Bar. You know why?

Because he was a felon. He was on probation at whatever order, protective order, kind of.

[Woody Overton]

Kind of like that. He had already been to the Big Apple Grilling Bar before and he showed his ass. Oh, so he got banned from the Big Apple Grilling.

Oh yeah. I have been banned from a few places. Three in one day. That's probably a record.

Well, we should have done that. We should have tried to go back in like change a ball cap or something.

That put your ass in jail in Texas. The I got banned from three bars.

In a matter of hours.

In a matter of hours. The two of them were right across the street from each other.

They were owned by the same people.

Yes, but they were. The first one gave me a hundred. A hundred dollar gift card. Yeah, I shaved my ass. But anyway, this Mr. Mason did the same thing. I tell that story on swim one day he had already been. They say you can't come back here. You showed your ass. Don't ever come back again. If you do, we're going to press charges on you. Right. That. That was because he was there in December 2024 and he got his ass arrested. Because if you could guess this, I'll give you a billion dollars. What. What did he do to end up getting banned for the bar after he got.

He went by the behind the bar and served himself.

That's way better. If he could have done that while he was doing this, that would have been a real trick. It made it have gone viral.

Okay, I'm got naked and ran around.

Well this wasn't this bar said that mattered. This was kind of freak of flyer is in December 2024. He got arrested because he got on a mule and when he was drunk and he wrote it into a liquor store.

You love to tell people riding store riding horses.

[Woody Overton]

Imagine being in the liquor store and rides through the doors on a mule drunk as like give me some. I wrestled a dude for riding his horse. I got to tell that story one day in. In a little convenience store down by Springfield.

And did they say why the long Face.

I don't know about that. But the, but he was arrested a second time days later while he was trying to get the mule back from the police.

So he's stealing it.

He's trying to. Yeah, he's trying to steal it back.

So. But the police didn't take too kind with that and they arrested his ass. Right. So. But on, on this day. And now remember, he's already been banned for those a couple of his other arrests on this day. This, this, that the mule does is not why. It's beast mode. Listen to this.

On Friday, June 6, the 40 year old man identified as Jonathan Mason, he goes to the bar where he's been banned from. You know what he did? He brought something with him. Not a mule, he brought a raccoon.

Oh gosh, why?

The bar's open, it's got people in it and he, he opened a door through the raccoon inside and locked it in. Why cause havoc if you sit at the barn? Raccoons aren't nice. You've seen that, right? And they get scared. They're gonna do whatever, right? So anyway, he loosed the raccoon into an open business in this in Murray, Kentucky. And then he ran like a little and scored in the Murray. So according to the local outlet, the Murray Sentinel, you know, it definitely was the Big Apple bar. Look, they got a show, it's just like it in the middle of a parking lot somewhere, right? And the police said that they received a call about the incident around 9:18pm and the caller said that an individual had intentionally released a raccoon into the open business. Officers got there and they're scanning an area and they locate Mr. Mason. And guess what he was doing? He was driving his vehicle and guess what? They stopped him. And guess what? He was drunk and he, he refused to roll down his windows or exit the vehicle. How do you think that's going to work out for you? Well, he's, but he don't realize that he just made these uniform patrol officers day. They got their suspect and they go up like sir. And I'm pretty sure they'll be a nice this point. Sir, can, can you roll down. You want to and talk to me? Likes frustration. He's like, you not coming out of the car. Like they're like instant, they're thinking, oh, you coming out of that car one way or another. Yeah, you coming the out. And, and so they're, they're getting ready to dance. He's making their day, right? So well, and naturally he did make their day. Because this resulted in the officers having to remove Mason from his car. We call that skull dragon. I'm sure they might have broke the window and drug him out through the broken glass. I've done that before. And of course, Mr. Mason had already been warned that he was not allowed to go to that bar. Right. Or even on the property of the business. Yeah, but he brought a fucking raccoon. He did it on purpose. I know he went there to call. Nothing to say. You like I'm throwing w. The raccoon in there and he's going to run around. I hope he bites one of you.

So anyway, he got arrested and charged.

With assault in the second degree. Throw in a live animal. I mean, you know, it is what it is. Criminal trespassing in the third degree, Resistant arrest and failure of owner to maintain required insurance. First offense. And he was placed into the Callaway county jail. So the. I mean, and they talk about being a freaking flyer and all that. The Big Apple grill and Bar. They don't say how they got to. Why did a raccoon out or if he bit anybody or whatever. But I mean, he had to get him out. Who in the has ever heard of somebody throwing a raccoon in a bar just because he's pissed off because they say you can't come back.

It was 13 people dead at that time. I'm gonna give you a little update on that. The suspected shooter who we told you about yesterday who opened fire at his former high school in Graz. They still haven't released his name and I don't care if they ever do. And this, this was. I say yesterday. It was Tuesday, June 10, but police released details of what they found during a search of this, the suspect's home and after he killed all those people. So on Wednesday, June 11, local police shared details about this the shooter on X. I don't know why people just. They don't put ship on regular news anymore. I don't even have X I don't think. But anyway, they said that it's in a translated post that during a search of the 21 year old's perpetrator's home, a suicide note and a non functional pipe bomb were found. Thank God it's non functional. And per the APA and Klein Zooting a farewell video was also seized and the APA notes that the clip had been sent to the suspected shooter's mother. Right. So they report that police explosive experts had also seized abandoned plans for a bomb attack as well as they discovered that non functional pipe bomb. And the APA stated that the suspected shooter had owned the shotgun and pistol using an attack but should not have been allowed to carry them under any circumstances. I guess he had whatever the rules are, they flagged him. They said a reconstruction of the crime is currently underway at the school and they said this could take days. Many more students need to be interviewed. So that's just a real quick update on that y' all. But now a day later like this shit always breeds something, right? It breeds copycats is what I say. The and there was a teaching assistant who was 31 years old and guess what? 14 year old student stabbed her to death. And this occurred in no gen the northeastern in northeastern France and a teaching assistant has died in France after being stabbed by a 14 year old student. That's just horrible. The 31 year old victim who has been identified was stabbed to death on the morning of Tuesday, June 10 outside the Francois Dolto school in Nogen in northeastern France. 14 year old boy has been arrested in connection with the stabbing. And they said the victim had been stabbed as police carried out a random search for knives and students school bags. So this like they're just there doing a spot check and this motherfucker was like, well I get, I got my knife, I'm just going to use it anyway. So. Part of the Associated Press. A police officer helping with the checks has also been slightly injured. The news agency added that the fatal attacks in the country were rare. But the Education Ministry had introduced bag checks in some locations this year amid concerns about rising violence in schools. Isn't it a fucking shame? The regional prosecutor, Dennis Devola said the student did not have a police record. Well, fucking, I hope not. He's 14. The victim was the mother of a young boy and had been working at the school since September. That her cousin Aurora says she was a very cheerful, very kind person. The French president, Emmanuel Morson said the teaching system has been a victim of a senseless wave of violence. He posted that in X. He said the nation is in mourning. The country's Education Minister, Elizabeth Bourne called the incident a terrible tragedy. Also an X. I guess we got a good X. She said, I express my full support to the victim and her loved ones. I salute the composure and the commitment of those who acted to restrain the attacker and protect the students and staff. Another Prime Minister, Francois Bayou, said the stabbing showed a breakdown of society in which we live. I agree with that. They said this is not just an isolated incident. So they noted that a student had killed a girl and injured multiple others in a stabbing in the city of Nantes in April, which you and I covered. Adding the French government figures released in February stated that reports of bladed weapons in schools had jumped by 15% over the past year. Crazy. I mean, you implement the checks. Well, obviously they need to be implemented as motherfucker was carrying a knife. But what do you. I mean, okay, I'm just like, okay. And they're gonna check my bag anyway, so I'm just gonna pull out the knife, stay, stab this woman to death. What the fuck? And then the cop gets on. Evidently the cop gets. He was a judge getting off the bench, going across the street to the office we had just left from. And he had a heart attack later that my other grandfather was longest running DA at when he was alive at that time. 30 years in the state of Louisiana, same courthouse, but this is 1993. And crossing the street to go in. And I got fucking motherless actress. And over four before we left. I'm sorry. My dad said. My dad said, y' all going ahead. And I said. I said, you not coming? He said, oh yeah, I'm coming. He said, but you're going by yourself. And I said, why? And he said, because more of my classmates that we graduated from law school have been killed by leaving or entering the courtroom in these divorce cases than I can count, I'm thinking. And then we get there and we get metal detected. Now they have the biggest walk through things that wind you down. I'm thinking, what the. Has this come to you? You know, but the world's changed and you got to go through metal detectors now, everywhere, everywhere. And take out of your pockets, please. And I'm always one. I'll just get a little panic when I go to this thing. Says my belt buckle. Did I get everything out? You know, if I got a nickel is going to go off. You know what I mean? You don't get that? No, I mean, because you think you got everything out. Maybe it's my ocd, I guess because.
