Hello, everybody, and welcome to this episode of True Crime. Time for Thursday, June 25, 2026. And I'm Woody Overton. And I hope this thing's working today because yesterday I recorded a full length episode and it showed it was recording, etc, and guess what? Lost in Space, y' all have heard that a few times over the years. And that's what happened. Brought the chip inside, send it to be edited. And there was one minute of recording. So I had what I call a case of the red ass and didn't record after that. And Sydney didn't record it for me. So back at it, June 25th. Let's rock and roll. The hashtag what happened to Madison? Call in your tips. I did all kinds of stories yesterday that you're never going to get to hear about missing people and stuff like that and why it's so important. Maybe the devil didn' want you to hear that. But somebody knows. And y' all, real people, real life, real crime. Let's bring them home. We can use the platform to do it. And if you're a cop working on it, prayers for you that to follow through. So that being said, on this day in 1979, if everybody in the world, the listeners, True Crime doesn't know about this case, I'll be shocked as shit. And we actually met one of the survivors on this day in 1979. Ted Bundy's trial for the assaults and murders that occurred at Florida State University resulted in two deaths and three injuries. Now, Bundy notoriously decided to represent himself during the trial and complained of the conditions of prison and referred to himself in the third person. Bundy, of course, was convicted of the murders and sentenced to death by means of the electric chair. And he wrote it, y'. All, but you know, it wasn't as, you know, it wasn't just Florida. He had his van, he had a very Pretty girlfriend let a very good looking guy and led a normal life by all appearances. But he would use ruses like having a broken arm and get a girl to help him open the door on his van and he'd shove him in and attack him stuff like that and rape him and kill him. Very intelligent. Yes. Do I think him Brian Coburger could have been almost twins in in personality wise and and yeah except maybe Bundy was a little bit more outgoing but the something to be said for that. I hope Coburger although Idaho doesn't have make sure. Yep. No they have no they don't have the death penalty and then I ever deserve it he does but he's being a little bitch in prison complaining about the food and they're picking on me. Well you know what prison is prison. It's not a nice place foreign. You back home to central Louisiana. It's about 20 miles from where I'm sitting at now. And I remember back during COVID when the mask mandates and all that came out the some people followed them, some didn't and then they started enforcing. Well they had a pastor. I'm not going to do this as an effed up professional because I don't really know that standing up for yourself like that. I don't know if I believe that you know that's even though they pass it until you had to wear a mask and all that. I don't, I don't know that I believe in it but it doesn't matter what I believe. The that is pastor named Tony Spill and back during COVID he got arrested like numerous times by the Central City Police Department for holding church services when they outlawed, you know, public gatherings and all that. And he didn't care. The Central Police Department and him been going back and forth. Now look, let me tell you this Central is small y'. All. It's just on the outskirts of Baton Rouge in between me and Baton Rouge and their police department can't have but a couple guys that are full time. So the you get in a piss contest like that, they tell you from cost perspective they're going to be like okay, I'm going to show you the you know, we don't make the laws but we enforce them. And so this pastor has sued them numerous times and all that. Both of the lawsuits have been dismissed. Well yesterday he got arrested again and I watched the video and he literally beat the out of his neighbor across the street. I'll play this for you real quick and I'll tell you about it. Good Evening to you, friends. A well known pastor has found himself
B
in the headlines again and behind bars once again.
C
Pastor Tony Spell gained national attention during the COVID 19 pandemic after publicly defying
B
the public health restrictions.
A
Now he's facing a felony charge after investigators say he fought beat up a man near his church in Central after the man reportedly cursed at him. Perry Robinson has been following this one and joins us with his new reaction tonight. Perry.
B
Hey, guys. Our cameras were rolling as Pastor Tony Spell bonded out of jail and spoke publicly for the first time since his arrest. Pastor Tony Spill is typically a man of many words on any given day of the week, but this time he's choosing not to say much after spending a few hours behind bars in bonding out of jail. Our cameras were rolling moments after he was released.
C
Have no comment. I'll be in court. Court date is set for September 15th.
B
Spell was arrested after investigators say he punched and beat a young man in Central and it was all caught on camera. Surveillance video near Life Tabernacle Church appears to show punches being thrown before both men fall to the ground. Moments earlier, another video provided by the victim's father appears to show Spell running across the street toward the young man. But the video does not contain any sound. Spell was eventually arrested and charged with second degree battery. These photos provided by the victim's dad, Scott Sherwin, showed the injuries his son suffered after the fight where he needed five stitches in his chin. He also told the WAFBI team there's been a long standing feud between his family and Spell. And even though it's not completely clear how and why everything started. According to arrest documents, the alleged victim told investigators he shouted a profanity at Spill before the fight started.
C
Truth will come out in court.
B
With blood still visible on his face and a criminal charge now hanging over him, Spill appeared focused on something else.
C
I'm heading to the pulpit right now. I've got a red hot sermon ready.
B
Spill will again appear back in court on September 15th. Guys, back to you.
A
All right, Terry, thank you.
C
All right, let me tell you about this. I guess he's probably maybe a few years younger than me. All right, now look, it's going to go viral if it hadn't already. They have a video of him literally running across the highway. And the victim, or alleged victim, he's definitely a victim of an ass whooping. I don't know what he did to provoke it, but the this pastor runs across a busy highway and beats the out of this kid I'm talking about. He's Whooping them when they're standing up. And they said they both been fell to ground. No, they didn't. Tony spell slammed his ass to the ground and then continued to wail on him like a UFC fight. He beat the out of him, except there was no referee until the cops showed up and arrested him. Second degree battery, that's a serious charge. This is not a public thing. During coronavirus. And he even sued the governor back then. The governor and he sued the, the, the sheriff for East Baton Rouge Parish, who, who ran the jail and all that, whatever. And nothing ever came of it, like I said. But he made national news and he's got a big following and all that. And I get that. But the second degree battery, you have got a real problem now just because somebody hollers in obscenity at you across the street. I mean, this is America. People can say stupid shit and, and they can't say I'm gonna kill you and expect no reaction. But the logical person would have gone inside and called 911 or whatever. This dude sprinted across the street and put an ass whooping on this kid. He, the kid five around and found out what it's like to get beat by a man because. And the photos. Holy shit. The chin split wide open, his face all black and blue. I mean, he, he whooped him and whooped him good. The problem with that is second degree battery in the state of Louisiana is the same thing as attempted murder. Same thing. And the law reads, I think it's like 14, 36 or 35, I don't know, but I can't remember. It's in the 30s, but the Louisiana Revised Statute 14, Semicolon 3, whatever. And it reads that if during an attack you suffer extreme physical pain, lose consciousness, suffer disfigurement, or you have to seek medical attention, it's second degree battery. The only thing that's difference between that and shooting somebody where you're trying to kill them is that's, that's aggravated second degree battery. Meaning you used a weapon. The only weapon this dude used, this pastor used was his hands and he put it on that kid. Now I don't know what the kid did to, to provoke it, but Pastor Spell is gonna have a hard time in court. From what I saw on video, that no matter what he hollered at him across the street. I mean, there's no reason to run across a busy highway and, and beat that dude like he did. So that's that. All right. I did a story yesterday on out of St. Helena parish and which is six miles from me, y'. All. And the. The. I feel very strongly about this and I want to talk about it. The There's a body that was found and the. It actually was found on. On our friend Diana and Ed's road the right off their road. And the sky was missing from. From St. Helena, which is very, very rural, y'. All. I'm talking about like do you think I talk about how rural my parish is? St. Helena is probably the only one that's moral, if you will. Matter of fact, just drove through there the other day in their main city is Greensburg. And I bet it doesn't have a thousand people. It doesn't even have a caution light. Right. So it's just the highway that runs through. But this guy now he went missing. I'm trying to. Still trying to find it because I had to scroll back and hope I didn't delete it. His name is Keith Madison and they said it was one of the top mechanics or whatever at one of the big car dealerships in Hammond. And he went missing in 2021 sets. Five years he's been gone. And but his they found some remains back in May and guess what? The LSU faces lab who they do great work. They just came back through DNA and teeth and all that and said this definitely was Keith Madison Senior. And the they was found off of hall and Lindsay Road on May 5. The St. Helena Parish Sheriff's Office let me tell you about that. You've heard me talk about him in several different stories in the past. But the the sheriff now shoots and he's a good guy. He's bringing them back around. He's actually called for Louisiana State Police to go help assist in the investigation to now find out what happened to Madison. Well, they're five years late not because he faulted their own. They just thought the guy might have disappeared or whatever. But it would regardless. They're five years late, five years behind eight ball. And so they call in Louisiana State Police. And that's what I used to do was get called to go out and assist other agencies on. On cases. Right. So they're going to look into it. I can't believe that it's going to be anything other than a homicide. And but now you got to start from fresh after all this time. But guess what? Mr. Madison gets to come home. Right? And St. Helena is not that big. I bet you there. Let me see how many people they have in the whole parish, y'. All. It's a pretty big parish. How many people are in St. Helena Parish, Louisiana.
A
As of 2020, the population of St. Helena Parish was 10,920.
C
Y'. All. That's the whole parish. Watch this. What's the population in the East Feliciana Parish?
A
As of 2020, the population of East Feliciana parish was 19, 539.
C
All right, so we're rural, right? But we're. They're twice as rural as we are, about 10,000 people. And anyway, so she just called in the state police. They're going to do what they do. But my. My point is this. Never give up, never surrender. Ms. Barbara Blunt, Madison, the. The other girls that are missing with Madison, the Bradley Stray storm. All these bodies are out there. And unless you have an incinerator or something like that, I mean, the. Even if you put them in water, even if you hide them in the woods, whatever. I believe in my heart because I believe in justice. I believe that these bodies, at least some of them, can be found one day. Some bones can be found, tested. Back to our missing victims. And that's why you just don't give up. And these poor families, and like our friend Diana, Ed, they knew this guy, knew him personally, and she messaged me last night and. And they actually found him off of her road. So I don't know. Don't give up, though. Y'. All. Please call on your tips. Hey, y'. All. Starting something using just hard, it can be really scary. Oh, you know what it's time for Family matters. We do these stories every day. Husband and wife killing each other and, you know, some family member killing each other. Well, there's always different, varied methods, right? Well, we're going to Virginia and a Virginia woman poisoned her husband and months after he's dead, she's now under arrest. Months after his murder, but they didn't know it was a murder. Amanda Christina Hawkins, who's 45, was charged with first degree murder. Virginia, Virginia. Virginia. Look at the board. Don't have it. The after. Now she's charged. Finally, after police said she was captured on audio and video admitting that she poisoned her late husband, who was 49 years old, James Matthew Hawkins. Now, according to court documents, an informant contacted authorities. Love that, y'. All, you're out there, you can call in, we can get you secretly in to get the information we need. But an informant contacted authorities after Amanda Hawkins allegedly admitted to killing James Hawkins, who died on November 21st of 2025. Now, as part of the investigation, police recorded Amanda Hawkins on audio and video as she stated that she poisoned her husband with a horse tranquilizer and insulin days before his death. All right, back it up so I can tell you what happened because this happened to us. This happened to me when I was a cop, and it's happened to me because lifers rule. People come in with these tips, right? And then the say right now in Mass's case, dude came in with a tip, says another guy confessed that he did such and such. And I don't know why that hasn't been brought home yet. You know, even if this person's in another state, you need. You need to go get that. Prove it or disprove it. But whatever the. So this person comes in, it's like, holy. They're a regular person. And they were like, she told me she murdered her husband. Here's the next question. I've asked it. I love to get to ask it. Will you wear a wire? Can you get it recorded? Can you get this statement recorded? And they got to cooperate. Now, the. In their mind, they're dealing with a killer, no doubt because this person told them if they believe them, right? If they didn't believe them, they wouldn't be at the cops. But you send them back in and get them to admit it. There's your sign there. There is a woman who's been running around free after murdering her husband. So the. The police interviewed a physician who was familiar with the Hawkins case, who stated that James Hawkins was experiencing symptoms of an insulin overdose before he died. At a hospice facility in Tennessee, months after James Hawkins death, the informant told police that he heard Amanda Hawkins admit to giving her husband horse tranquilizer and insulin. She later said she had his body cremated. Right. So nothing to go test there. So. Well, after hearing the recording, which they made, the police brought Amanda Hawkins in on June 15 and interviewed her, and she confessed to poison her husband. And she told the police she obtained the substances days before he died. And she's been charged with first degree murder. And she also was charged with two counts of distribution of schedule 2, controlled substances and money laundering. And she's being held without bond. So isn't that crazy? But it happens. It's all it takes somebody out there. So I, and I know Madison's case. That's why I'm the. We're gonna take it to the next level next week. I just got to get through this week. The, the. But it's out there. And whether it's. It's true or not, I can't prove it, what this person said. But the police can get it proven and they can get more than probably, they'll have more than probable cause to arrest a person that. That opened their mouth. And in fact, the person even stated a general area where they put Madison's body. So let that out of the bag. But you know what? I'm tired of waiting. I've known that. And that came from a lifer, right? And it's been, it's been a minute. All right. Tell you about, you know, cops, usually this bunch of alpha males. And, and. Sometimes you don't like what your supervisor tells you. Well, that's okay. You still gotta shut the up and do what they tell you, right? When I was in the military, I was one of the youngest sergeants ever. And I had a squad underneath me. And I had sent an older gentleman. I say older, he's probably in his 30s. I was like 19. Send him to clean the latrines. He said that. I'm not doing it. I said, follow me. And I went in there and I cleaned every toilet. And I'm talking about spit shine. And when I got done, I made. I gave him an order to follow me in the washroom. When I got done, I took him in and had him court martial. And I told him, I said, I would never ask you to do something I wouldn't do myself. Right. Made an example out of them. Well, let's go to nopd, New Orleans Police Department, or in the cop world known as no other police department. And I'll tell you that story another day. So let me play this for you, and then I'll tell you the details.

Police say fellow officers had to hold back a longtime major from attacking his boss.

Attempted physical threats. It was Extremely disappointing and alarming. Violated privacy rights. All of this material is confidential. It is sensitive, gross insubordination. That is not behavior that we would expect from any member of the nopd, let alone someone that has raised to the rank of major. All allegations against longtime NOPD veteran Raymond Burkhart Jr. With 57 years on the force, the NOPD fired him effective June 6. We have high expectations, expectations for what we expect from majors and from members of NOPD's leadership team. And for the most part, we see these high expectations be met by other members of the leadership team. So it was disappointing to learn of not just one or two, but three separate incidents that demonstrated a lack of disrespect for NOPD leadership and peers. Records FOX 8 obtained through a public records request lay out those allegations against Burkhart. NOPD chief and Kirkpatrick wrote in Burkhart's termination letter. He allegedly tried to attack NOPD Deputy Chief Nick Gurnan. That was during a Bayou Classic meeting in November after Gurnan asked Burkhart a question. Independent police monitor Stella Cement agrees with Kirkpatrick's discipline of Burkhart. To have this individual go to this tabletop exercise and not be prepared, but then afterwards to then lash out in a physical manner against one of his deputy chiefs is just unheard of. In a separate case, the NOPD says Burkhart also transferred confidential internal documentation, including sensitive information about sex crimes, to his personal email. This showed a lack of judgment. And again, when we're speaking of someone at this high level, we really want want to see sound judgment be applied in all aspects of their responsibilities. And last summer, the NOPD says Burkhart failed to complete a critical report on safety at second lines after a fatal shooting. For the major to not take this assignment seriously, to not interview the stakeholders that were identified, that showed a disregard for the assignment, but also a potential disregard for public safety. Cement said she's glad Kirkpatrick removed an officer who Cement called a risk to the department and the public. And Kirkpatrick wrote in one disciplinary letter that Burkart had also been the subject of a 2019 federal lawsuit. She said. In it, a fellow officer alleged Burkhart joked about his mental health struggles in the office. We were unable to reach Burkhart this afternoon, John.

Y'. All. Did you catch the main thing on that? And I can't believe this dude was on the job for 57 years. That blows my mind. So he must have been. What if they joined it? Let's say he joined 1867 and 8. He's in his mid-70s. The 57 years on the force and I guess you just reach a point where you just don't give a. Yeah, the. I mean you attack the deputy chief is pretty much like the chief of police and did all these other things that you did and finally they, they fired him. But 57 years now, how many people do you know that ever have a 57 year career in anything? And this, this cop, he did it. Let me tell you the story about why I say no other police departments. And Matt Patan, I know you listen and I love you bro, but this is true. And you know it's true. But the Matt Potan y' all and I were the first field training officers to ever officially go to school for the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office. When we were in uniform patrol, we went to school to be FTO is what they call them. Before that, they had just trained them. And then Matt would end up going to New Orleans Police Department, transferring from Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office. Before Hurricane Katrina, I don't remember exactly what year, but he's a great cop, great cop. And I like think I was a great cop too. But we had fun working together. He's super dude. Maintained friendship over the years and he rose up high into the ranks of nopd. And I think he still reserved whatever with him. But we'll go back to. I think in. It was before Katrina and they had some sheriff's deputies out of God, St Tammany Parish, which is the north shore New Orleans, it's across the lake, the world's longest bridge and. But you know, you have a badge and you have a gun, you. They teach you even at an academy that you treat other officers with respect. If you can't help them, don't hurt them unless they're being assholes. And the, you know, you do what you can for. Well, evidently they had some Saint Tammany deputies and. Yeah, I'm talking about 30 years plus years ago that went to the French Quarter to go party, right? No big deal. You live right across the lake. Why not your young men go down there and have yourself a good time? Well, what happened was a NOPD officer who was assigned to the quarter saw one of the deputies, badge and gun. Now, I don't know how this cat was, was. I think he saw the gun and, and they stopped him. So he's doing his job and the guy identifies himself as a deputy. Him, him and all his friends, they take out their badges, et cetera, and they took the shit the NOPD did and told him, told him to leave and go home. Well, the sheriff back then, I think it was, it was, I think it was Crane. But he found out and then he called the Red ass, right? And so he called the then chief of police, I can't remember who it was, and, and said, hey bro, you know, my deputies had their shit held up by your guys and the quarter. What's the deal? And opd. No other police department chief, not a deputy chief, not this 57 year veteran, told the sheriff, he said, why don't you tell your boys to stay out of my city? And the sheriff, he wasn't, he didn't bullshit. And he told him, he said, you know what? I'm gonna do that. I'm gonna tell my deputies to stay out of your city. He said, but I'm gonna call Louisiana Sheriff's association and I'm gonna tell them exactly what happened and tell them the exact words you just told me. And the then the response is going to be, we'll keep our deputies out of your city. You keep your deputies out of the rest of Louisiana because we're going to show them the same respect you showed my guys. And that's the way it was. So that's why they got the nickname. No other police departments. But I got a lot of good friends down there, good and bad in every profession. In case y' all don't know, Cindy is big and making her house feel like a home. Now if you're a teacher and I get the whole only fans thing y', all the I still haven't seen any new pictures on it. I try to log in and some reason they won't let me. I get people making a lot of money and you know, we know some lifers are doing it the you know you're gonna get on there and sell your whatever content. If it's sexual, it's sexual, right? Well, if you're a teacher and you get on there and you're doing the sexual things and whatever and a high school teacher and your student finds out, you see where it could lead to a problem. It could be an issue, right? And we've done stories about teachers getting fired and and stuff because they got found out that they were on getting nude and well, let me tell you what happened. And I don't want to think that I would ever blackmail somebody, but I probably would have been dumb enough to do this when I Was a kid if I had a hot teacher who was getting naked. All right y'. All. So I'm gonna take you to Atlanta and Atlanta, Georgia. And the high school teacher in Georgia is accused of sexually abusing students. Was potentially blackmailed by students who discovered her only fans accounts and they blackmailed her to get better grades. That would have done now, but I probably wouldn't have done that, but I thought damn sure thought about it. So Maria Nichols, who's a 25 year old teacher at Alexandria High School, allegedly had sex with a student twice. According to the search warrant, the student then blackmailed her with knowledge of her only fans account to get a better grade. Come on, dude. Well, I'm sure it's right technically by age, but you banged your teacher twice. Then you're going to blackmailer to get a better grades. If you think, I mean maybe, maybe the fact that you know she had carnal knowledge of you literally and biblically, you should have used that to blackmailer. But the previous arrest warrants said Nichols had sex with a student twice. Once on April 23rd inside a schoolroom closet. How romantic. And once on May 2nd inside a car. I guess she missed that in her. In her teenage days. I mean who wants to have sex in a car now when you're old? But the new warrants reveal she had sex with a different student on the May 3 and also sent inappropriate pictures and videos to several other students. I think maybe she has a problem. Investigators say the inappropriate messages were sent from Nichols phone to several other students, including a video of the teacher having sex with the student while wearing a sweater that says. Wait for it. Sweater emboldened with Jesus loves you on it. So the footage of those sexual encounters started to circulate among several students. Yeah, I bet it did. Right? And look at this. Look at Ms. Nichols, what she's doing. Police say some of the same students tried to use that as an opportunity to blackmail Nichols for a better grade with the threat that they would leak the videos of the teachers only fans account. Well, the, the. They're not saying if they're facing the students are facing charges for blackmail. But Nichols is in got her ass in a crack. She faces one count of tampering with evidence, two counts of child molestation, four counts of improper sexual contact by an employee and four counts of grooming a minor. And she. You can stick a four count because she's done. Right, but you're blackmail. I mean I just can't imagine. I mean people make the serious money getting on there and getting and doing whatever the people want and even some famous people are doing it. But if you're a teacher, a high school teacher and you're having or raping boys in a closet in a car and you're videoing it and then it gets sent around. Yeah, that's going to be a lose lose for you. Sooner or later it's going to get to the wrong one. All right, let me tell you this one in I'll tell you my thoughts on it. Also, it's time for effed up professionals. I'm going to rank my fast food restaurants for you and I don't eat it anymore. And, and unless I'm out of town, I have to order Uber eats or some Mc McDonald's Best French Fries hands down the. Burgers, I would probably say Burger King. How do you know Wendy's. Wendy's has the best spice chicken sandwich and second best fries. Right. So anyway, but the you have to worry. I saw. I've worried because I've done enough stores, worked enough cases where people put in people's food. Well, let me tell you about this one and I'll play it and we'll talk about it. So y', all, we're gonna go out to Wendy's restaurant in South Carolina, Union, South Carolina to be exact, in case you're a patron of that establishment. And three Wendy's employees are accused of spitting and serving food from the trash. That means talk about field violator, right? According to the union public safety department or Police officers, 23 year old Elias Shantae Sanders, 19 year old Trinity Lachelle Rice and 33 year old Shadel Crystal Holly were charged with tampering with a human drug product or food item. And because of the that went down In Wendy's on May 31, a customer ordered food from the Wendy's drive through but had an issue with it and told the staff she asked for a refund after the staff took the order back. They're like motherfucker, you want a refund? Let me show you this. Well, the victim told police that she asked for the receipts and she was not giving one when she first ordered her food. She was given the food back after the staff told her they would remake the order. And she left the store. While leaving, she was eating the food that she was given. Right. She was hungry. Someone from the store called the customer and told her that an employee had spat in the food and had removed it from the trash can. Right. The customer told police that when she looked she found that the remade order was Actually food from her previous order. I don't really understand that because you it up for me once, and I got to go back and wait, then I'm damn sure gonna make it right the second time. But according to the reports, the victim called the store and spoke with the manager, who told her that he had spoken with employees and confirmed it. He also said he would review the surveillance footage. The general manager and the manager told the victim that Sanders and Rice were ridden up for this incident. All right, I got a lot of issues with that. Look, this isn't a homicide or anything else, but you spit my food. Serving out of the trash can is bad enough, but you spit in my food that you're reserving me because you up. Didn't do your job right the first time. You spit in my food. I'm gonna put your ass in jail. The. The fact that these just got ridden up, they didn't fire them. If I was Union, South Carolina, I would never eat that Wendy's again. I mean, take food out of the trash can, spit in it, serve it back. Now you got another witness that this employee calls you because they know you're, you know, however that went down. I don't know. That's freaky. But the. The. You, hey, they spat your food. They took it out of the trash can, right? And then you look at it, and you call in, and the manager's just like, yeah, I've reviewed the surveillance footage, and I already talked to him about it. They admitted to it, and we wrote them up. You better find out how fast you can fire somebody, because guess what? I'm coming back with a lawsuit. And I don't know. Just. It's hard. Hard for me to eat fast food anymore, y', all, because of like, that. Just, like, it's hard for me to go anywhere and sit with my back to the door because all the killings and stuff just don't know when it's gonna happen. All right, I've been trying to end it on a positive note on this one. I'm gonna end it on a twisted night. And I don't even know what category you would put this under. Under. And just a freaky, freaky dude. Well, I could put it on a worldwide crime. It's time for worldwide crime. We're gonna roll out to Hungaria and Hungarian. Police have arrested a man who investigators say collected human body parts that he gathered from abandoned cemeteries and from his workplace at a hospital. All right, not so bad. And then dig up some bodies and abandoned cemeteries. Take a bone or Some. An arm or leg or a brain. Whatever the fuck you got from your work. Crime. Yeah, but not, I mean freaky. Yeah, but not as freaky as about what I'm about to tell you. The Hungarian National Bureau of investigation arrested the 30 year old man in the capital of Budapest on 17 June. They had earlier received a tip that he had been seen storing the body parts at work, in at home. Police said that the man is employed as an orderly at a hospital. Well, finally they believed enough, I guess to actually get off their ass and do something. And they got a search warrant or they. I don't know if they got a search warrant. They did a search of the man's apartment and investigators found and seized skulls, multiple, a complete lower leg and a hand, as well as a reconstruction of a human face prepared from facial skin. Okay, that's not the worst part, y'. All. They also found a heart which was in a jar. And the man then gets questioned, right? And he admitted to collecting the body parts and said that he was particularly attracted to human body parts. And listen to this. Here it comes. That he had prepared food from such parts in eating them that now he's being held on suspicion of an illegal use of human bodies. And in their statements, the police said the man is passionate about anatomy and pathology and likes to dissect animals. Well, who gives a. He's, He's. He's got a whole human leg and he's reconstructing faces and shit and he's eating it. I mean who gives a. If he's passionate about pathology the or and he likes to dissect the animals. They said it is suspected that he obtained the body parts through his work at the hospital and by digging up bodies. Police seize the man's computer, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, SIM and data cards. All the recovered body parts will be examined by forensic experts and the crimes could expand after the origins of the body parts is determined. Now y', all, this really gives a. It really gives a bad, bad eye to organ donation which I have been sober miss on lately on not saying that it is Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency is my jam. Save a life, right? Be a hero, sign up to be an organ donor. But the these body parts, not the ones that came out of the graveyard, the ones came out of the hospital. How in the do you. Are you not missing a leg somewhere? How are you not missing a head somewhere? In what world does that equate? If I'm a family member and my people die in your hospital, I'm going To be pretty sure that I'm make sure I get all your body back, right? And thankfully, we're good friends with the people that run the local funeral homes here. I mean, they're like family for us, the charolays. But the. I mean, at least I'm gonna ask them. Like, my daddy was buried with his boots and his spurs and, you know, his cowboy hat and all that, but he couldn't have it on in the casket, so they. They had to place down by his feet. I get that, but they told me that it's down there, I promise. Well, body you got. You got a whole intact leg. That dude didn't come out of the ground in a cemetery. That came from the hospital, amongst other parts. And I'm sure the hospital's worried about getting sued and all that and whatever, but this dude ate it, y'. All. Yes. I've always wondered what human flesh tastes like, but I don't. I am not going to try it. That I wonder. Just because I'm curious. Because, you know, seeing them when they cut you open and that fat is. Is like a yellowish orange, and I've never seen that on anything else. But that being said, I'm going to jump up off of here. Thursday's episode. Yeah, we got a cocktail party this weekend. I said this on yesterday's Lost in Space episode. Cocktail party this weekend for our second oldest daughter here at the house. And so we've been beast mode on that. And Cindy and I will be back in the studio together at some point. Just right now, we just got so many different things rolling and the get through this week. Next week, I'm gonna have to start dropping some bombs on Madison. I dropped one today, but I might have to have Ms. Lynn on one. We got to do a full episode, I guess, to. To make some happen. Maybe do a call to action hashtag just for Haley. It's being reviewed by our people and they, you know, we'll get the game plan together after. So Ms. Barbara, hanging in there and I love and appreciate each and every one of y'. All. Y' all go like and share and do all that good podcast stuff if you're so that I'm supposed to tell you, if you feel so inclined, please go leave us a review and all that. Good. All right. I love and appreciate each and every one of y'.
