My name is Mackenzie and I started a GoFundMe for the adoptive mother of a nonverbal autistic child. The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic child. So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills. So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis, and we raised about $10,000 within just a couple of months. I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story and just like really being very clear about what we needed, we had some really generous donations from people who were really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.

Hello, everybody, and welcome to this episode of true crime. Time for Monday, March 16, 2026. And I'm Woody Overton. Best Cajun cooking you'll ever get. Coldest beer, even got snowballs, y'. All. And Chef Big J, when you go in there, tell them that I sent you. Right? So on this day. Oh, no. You know what? Let me digress. The hashtag what happened to Madison? The third episode comes out tonight at midnight for all lifers and patron of convicts. You get. You got it. Your commercial free early release this past Saturday. Y' all calling you tips. It's important. This. This is a bizarre case. Wait till you listen to this episode. Right? And let's try to bring. Let's try to find out what happened to Madison, and we'll take it from there. Hashtag just for Bradley. Hashtag just for AO. Hashtag just for Ms. Barb Blunt. Keep calling you tips. Three one, three R L R C tip. No tip is too small. We're going to look at them. All right? All right. On this day, March 16th, back when I was seven years old in Star wars, the movie came out. I don't know if it came out on this exact date, but same year, on this day in 1977, Timothy King was last seen before his body was discovered seven days later in a ditch an autopsy revealed that King had been fed his favorite meal and clean before being sexually assaulted and murdered. So they, they fed him his favorite meal, cleaned them up before they raped him and murdered him. King was the fourth victim of the Oakland County Child Killer. The killer would keep all of his victims alive for approximately four days while he groomed and fed them before he murdered them. God damn. Yeah. Takes all kinds to make the world go around. Let's see what happened to him. What happened to the Oakland County Child Killer?
E
The Oakland County Child Killer refers to the unsolved murders of four children in Michigan between 1976 and 1977. Despite extensive investigations and various suspects including Christopher Bush and Arch Sloan, the case remains open and unsolved. Recent advancements in forensic technology have been applied to re examine evidence but no definitive conclusions have been reached.

So you have it right out of the mouth of babes and y'. All. I like to use this chat GPT and like to take pictures of stuff and see what it is and all that. But I read an article today in Fox News that said in By 2030 it's going to increase our electricity bills by up to like 15%. Pretty crazy that you know, they got these massive warehouses with these computers that are drawing such power out of these things every time you ask the question, right? So Amazon, all, you know, Google and all them are big building these big warehouses and even looking at possibly putting in small nuclear plants, which I thought was kind of crazy. But anyway, let's get down to some true crime time for Monday March 16th. All right. You know it's funny, I watch all the shows on how to catch a smuggler and stuff like that where you know, people naturally smuggling in drugs but they smuggle in all kinds of like food and things that you can't have. And this one is bizarre. So a man has been arrested after trying to smuggle over 2,000 queen ants from Kenya. On Tuesday, March 10, Zane Queen was arrested at the Homo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi after authorities found two 238 live ants inside his luggage. This according to the BBC. The 27 year old Chinese national who was getting ready to travel back to China had previously avoided arrest last year in connection with a an alleged ant trafficking network that was squashed. They said this resulted in a stop order being placed on Kinking's passport. And they said there has been an increase in demand for garden pets in Kenya with the Kenya Wildlife Services warning about the pressure from this people's smuggling shit I guess or one of these pets and According to the outlet, people in Europe and Asia keep the ants, which are also known as Messer cephalotes. Now People magazine reached out to Homo Kenyatta International Airport and the Kenya Wildlife Services, the High Court of Kenya and the Kenya Police Service for comment, but they didn't get any responses. So the. But on Wednesday, March 11, the state prosecutor, Allen Mulama told the court that some of the ants in King's luggage had been packed in test tubes. It said within his personal luggage there was found 1,948 garden ants packed in specialized test tubes. A further 300 live ants were recovered concealed in three rolls of tissue paper within the luggage. And he. They said that he had been in Kenya for two weeks and allegedly revealed to his three ant suppliers that I guess they, they ratted him out. Keegan's phone and laptop are set to be forensically examined and he said more arrests related to ant trafficking and harvesting are expected. And meanwhile, investigators believe Kakin was the mastermind behind the trafficking ring that resulted in four men being sentenced to one year in prison. And they were fined $7,700 back in May of 20 after trying to smuggle thousands of ants from Kenya. So well, guess what? Kakin was able to escape at the time after leaving the country with another airport. So he is on the run for smuggling ants. And that's crazy. What the. You. I know the queen ants, right? I think that's right. Like the queen bee. The queen Anthony, you know, all the work rants bring her the. And they build the mounds and they, they feed her and they live to please her. Maybe they need some ants in the yard. Should they come to my house? I got plenty of them. South Louisiana, you guarantee to have about 14 million red ant piles in your yard. Just run over with a lawnmower and they'd be back next week. So if I had to put poison on every ant pile we have, it put me in the poor house. It's time for effed up professionals. You know, it's time for dum dum in the court. Just some. This really should be a dum dum in the court. Too soon? Oh, I'm sorry all. Cindy's not in studio again with me today. Everybody's here and she's busy. So she'll be back though. The. You know, you think about priests, right? And the first thing that pops in everybody's mind is the Catholic priest raping babies and babies raping kids and shit like that over the years and the church hiding it. But that's not. Maybe not all priests are pedophiles, right? Well, obviously they're not. But the. They also have other quirks. And if you're going to steal something you don't really want to steal from Walmart. Right. I've told you all of this before. When they hear them say security scan zone 320, they're just doing that to scare people. They don't really have zone 320 lock. He's an honest man. Honest. But they do have undercover people that watch people steal shit. But they. We're going to Pennsylvania and I'm going to tell you about a priest. He's the head priest of a church and he was arrested after he stole more than $1,000 of baseball cards from a Walmart over a period of days. I mean, I guess the likes baseball, but they said the Very Reverend Aiden Smith, who's 42 years old, was placed into custody after leaving a Walmart in economy borough on the outskirts of Pittsburgh back on February 27th. It's according to the New York Post, Smith, who's the head priest and the dean of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, allegedly had 27 packs of baseball cards concealed under his clothing in a cardboard box. Okay, I guess he has priest collar on. Didn't think they were going to see the bulge. The Walmart estimate the merchandise stolen was $1099 were as the man of cloth was charged with receiving stolen property and retail theft. So employees called police after Smith was seen in the store for a fifth day in a row taking baseball cards and leaving without paying. Hey Priestman, there's like 14,000 Walmarts. You know, be smart, go to a different one and maybe you don't get caught. But you go five days in a row, I'm pretty sure you're gonna be noticed. But Walmart sells a variety of baseball cards, including the popular collector brands Tops Pulse and Panini. The I don't know why they call them this, but the right Reverend Catelyn Solak, who's the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh, said the diocese and officials will investigate and they will follow church cannons, which is church law shall for handling misconduct and I mean quote said I have spoken but Aiden insured him of our prayers for him in this difficult time. Please pray for Aiden, for Melanie and her children, for the entire cathedral congregation as we grieve this knees and for everyone involved in this hard situation. Well, you know what, Bishop? You wouldn't have to do that if your priest wasn't a thieving motherfucker. But Solax Message added that Smith had been on administrative lease since late January, but they said there was no explanation for his absence. So Smith's defense lawyer declined to comment. Naturally. And you go, go to. I'm telling you about another priest. Recently, a Catholic bishop was arrested after being accused of visiting a notorious mega brothel 12 times in one month. Bishop Emmanuel Shalita, who's 69, was detained at the San Diego International Airport on March 5 after church members accused him of pocketing up to a million dollars from the Chilean Catholic Eparchy of St. Peter the Apostle, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. She later was charged with eight counts of embezzlement, eight counts of money laundering, and one enhancement of an aggravated white collar crime. Stealing from the church. Yeah, they gonna get you. Shalita was also seen frequenting a gentleman's club in Tijuana. The which basically all they said is it was a whorehouse where women and girls have been trafficked and forced to work. I should have said whorehouse, gentleman's club. But Shalita turned in his resignation to the Vatican in January. But he has vehemently denied any allegations of fraud. He said, I have never in my priestly life or Episcopal life abused any of the church money. And he said this at a service back on February 22nd. On the contrary, I have done my best to preserve and manage the donations of the church properly. Well, I'm pretty sure they got your ass. And they may not prosecute because they don't want any true crime. Time forward. Be telling about the priests in Walmart or now Walmart's gonna prosecute. They don't give a. Their rule is if you get caught shoplifting, we don't care who you are. We're taking you from the back of the store in handcuffs right in front of everybody. Because that is a visual deterrent, which actually works much better than saying security scan zone 320 or whatever it is they say, so don't steal and you won't have that problem. It's time for family matters. Are y' all going out to Florida? You gotta love family, right? And they said a Florida mom with a heart tattoo on her face was all smiles after she shot her sister during an argument and cops got there. Guess what? Both women refused to tell the cops what happened. I'm pretty sure if my brother or sister shoots me in the face, I'm gonna tell on her, right? But Magdalena Dabovsky, who's a 34 year old mother of three, smirked knowingly as she was booked into the Broward county jail on attempted murder charges for shooting her sister in North Lauderdale early on Monday. But I do believe in starting the year doing things right. That means sleeping when I can, eating decent, staying active and paying attention when something feels off. And for a lot of people, especially women, feeling tired or foggy at the start of the year gets written off as stress or burnout. When low, iron can actually be part of the problem. Iron deficiency affects one in three adults, and the symptoms don't always jump out at you. It can show up as constant fatigue even when you're sleeping enough, brain fog or trouble concentrating, frequent headaches, irritability or brittle nails and hair breakage. When iron levels are low, your body has to work harder to deliver oxygen, and that can impact your energy, focus, mood and physical performance. An iron deficiency can exist long before anything turns into anemia, which means you can feel it well before it shows up on paper. That's why I recommend Sideroll from Pharman Nutra. Sideroll is a premium iron supplement powered by the patented Sucrosomio technology. This technology helps your body absorb iron three to four times more effectively than standard iron supplements without the common stomach issues people complain about like nausea and constipation. It's clinically proven to be comparable to IV iron, and it's made with just two main ingredients, 30 milligrams of sucrosomil iron and vitamin C in a convenient once a day capsule. You can take any time with or without food. Sideroll is backed by 20 years of research, 150 plus clinical studies, and is trusted by more than 2 million people worldwide. It's the number one supplement brand in Italy and it's used in over 90 countries. If you're starting the year and you're still feeling tired or foggy despite doing the right things, you're not alone and this might be the support your body needs. has a red heart inked below her left eye and a tattoo of a lucky 777 on her neck above an EKG heart monitor line. Right. And you can see it in the all in the booking photos. I don't understand that. It's the stupidest tattoos ever. But her sister's boyfriend told the investigators that when the siblings fought inside the home, he attempted to separate them to to a couch in the backyard. And this according to the rest report. He reported that during the altercation, the defendant produced an unknown make and model of firearm and shot the victim in the shoulder at close range. And it's according to Bravo County Sheriff's office, a neighbor heard a shot and called 911 and reported hey. A lady across the street screaming after a pop like a gunshot. Just before 4am the neighbor told deputies that a woman had been banging on her front before jumping in a car and speeding it away, leaving behind a blood stained backpack in the yard. The neighbor directed the responding officers to the sister's home and when they knock, Dabovsky answer the door, revealing blood on the floor inside. Well, you know, gotta investigate, right? But this told her, hey, come on outside so we can talk to you. She's like you, I'm not coming out. And she pulled away from the deputies. And so as they tried to handcuff her, which I always tell you, that's when you're going to get the fights, when you get to put that first cuff on. It was she was ultimately she got some real estate and they secured her, right? So Dabowski's three children were found in the home unharmed. And they told officers they found blood on the couch in the backyard. Dabowski's sister later showed up at HCA Florida Woodmount Hospital in Taramount with a gunshot wound. They said the sister's mother, who wasn't present for the shooting, told detectives that her wounded daughter called her from the hospital and said that Dubovsky had shot her during an altercation. Call a mama, right, Mama, my sister shot me. But they said it's not clear what the pair were fighting about and both have refused to speak with police about the incident. Well, you know what? You could be an asshole like that if you want to. You got blood in your house. We got reports of a gunshot. Your sister showed up shot at the hospital. I would have done the same thing. They contacted Florida Department of Child, Children and Families, and guess what they did. They came and took the kids into custody. Because if you're not going to tell the fucking truth, we can't tell if they gonna be in danger or not. So we make sure they're gonna be safe. Dubowski, who's a Polish native who has lived in Broward county for the last 18 years, remains behind bars on charges of attempted murder and resisting arrest. You gotta love family, right? Not really. I think everybody has something in their family. So that's that. It's time for worldwide crime. Going to the land down under. Who? They love us down there and we love them. I even had, if you're from the 80s, you remember it was called Men Down Under, I think men at work. And they sing that song about a Vegemite sandwich. I even had a life or send me a can of Vegemite. And I opened it and I ain't eating that, but it's kind of like tuna fish or something for them. We're going Australia. And this, I mean the neighbors, they had some neighbors that heard loud noises before a newborn is found in the backyard of the home. Okay, so let me tell you about it. A new worn a newborn baby was found in the backyard in the southeastern Australia. The baby and a 22 year old woman who were discovered nearby are now receiving treatment at a hospital. So on the morning of the Thursday, March 12, a local neighbor heard what appeared to be arguing in loud sounds before the child was found in the yard of a residence in Kelor Downs, which is a suburb of Melbourne. This according to abc, the Australian Broadcast Corporation. A member of the public reported finding the newborn in the yard of their home on Coping this way just before 8am local time. This the Victoria police said the baby and a 22 year old woman from a nearby address were taken to the hospital for treatment. An investigation led by the Brim Bank Sexual Offenses and Child Abuse Investigation Team is still ongoing. The woman was located at a house that backs onto the grounds where the baby was found. Both the woman and the infant are in stable condition, according to the news outlets. So one dude, Michael Tate, who's a neighbor, he told reporters that he heard a bang before an emergency vehicle arrived at the scene. He said, I could see all this activity just next door in three police cars, an ambulance and someone was getting put into an ambulance and plenty of police walking around. Well, bystanders reportedly saw bloodied clothing or towels left on the ground near where the baby was found. And another neighbor, R Zou Egret, recalled seeing a police tent in the house's backyard. He said, poor baby. We are saddened that such a disturbing event happened so nearby. I wish mom and baby are all good. So we don't really know what happened. I can make, I don't know. They said the Victoria police have no further information in newborn baby getting rid of it. I don't know y' all the. You don't have to do that. Hopefully the baby is alive and the mother gets help for whatever they need help with. All right, Everybody have one? Not everybody. There's some lazy people that don't have a job or can't work or whatever. But the drug traffickers, they're always, always trying to figure out how to get over like I told you about the ants earlier and when the guys first rodeo. But you would think that you would like retire at a certain age or you wouldn't get involved at a certain age. And I would think that age would probably be my age. You'd be like fuck that, I'm not going to jail for that. Right. Well, I'll tell you about a 70 year old who didn't retire. And the traffic stop near Everett Road and I90 in Albany led to the arrest of a 70 year old Francisco Salazar who is accused of possessing cocaine and fentanyl which was intended for distribution. This cor. Albany County Sheriff's office, now Albany County Sheriff Craig D. Apple Senior said members of the sheriff's community oriented policing effort conducted the stop at about 6:25pm Tuesday, March 10 in the area of Everett Road 990. Investigators said the driver, Francisco Salazar of Albany was found with 3.3 grams of cocaine and 130 glass and bags of fentanyl. Authorities said the drugs were intended for distribution based on the quality in the individual packaging. 70 years old, y' all so set at 70. Salazar was charged with 3rd degree criminal possession of controlled substance, 4th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drugs, paraphernalia and a class A misdemeanor traffic violation. And his ass went to jail, I guess. I mean I guess they think you pull over a 70 year old and he's not going to be doing anything bad other than maybe driving shitty, right? But he is a drug meal evidently and his ass is now where he belongs. It's time for effed up professionals. Look, I'll be the first one to say there's good and bad in every profession. There's great chefs like Big J of Big J Side Porch, including Louisiana, my new favorite hangout. And then there's shitty chefs that wannabes and you know, whatever. There's also, as you heard on her life for Crime many times, good cops. And then there's Shitty cops. And we're going to New York City. And two New York City police officers have been accused of stealing a brothel key before robbing and groping a sex worker at a queen's brothel that they were assigned to investigate. Okay, so initial state charges were dismissed against officers, but that wasn't good enough because the feds came in and federal prosecutors indicted patrol officers Justin McMillan and Justin Cohen, both of them first named Justin. Right. They indicted him on Tuesday. And they're now facing felony conspiracy against rights and willfully depriving an individual of her constitutional rights in connection with the July 2024 incident is according to the U. S. Attorney's office for the Eastern District of New York. Well, what happened, you might ask? Well, prosecutors say the two men were responding to a report of prostitution inside a queen's building. And upon entering, they shut off their body cameras and approached a woman who was leaving the building. And they took a key to the residence from her as well as her cash on the purse. Like, let's give us your key. But, yeah, we'll take that money, too. And then they leave, Right? You think of it, I mean, something like that. Maybe the prostitute's not going to get other cops involved because they're scared of them or whatever. Or it's a. These cops leave, but they return eight hours later, and they unlock the door and found a woman having sex with a man. And the man, he ran like a little bitch because. And I guess he didn't want to get in trouble with his wife or what have you, but they let him run. So MacMillan, who's 26 of Long island, then stole about $200 from the woman's purse and groped her While Colon, who's 24 queens, stood by and kept watch like he's the lookout, Right? Go ahead and get. You know, it's not like you're going to rob a brothel and get $2 million and these fuck sticks are getting $200 and going to fill up a new prostitute. So they said the woman ran away and eventually called 911. I'm glad she did. The officers, meanwhile, go back to their precinct, and guess what they don't do? They don't report the incident. So McMillan and Cullen were initially charged in a state court last March with burglary, forcible touching and official misconduct. But the judge dismissed the case and sealed the prosecution in December after the queen's DA Queen's DA Office failed to meet the court speedy trial rules. They said both men were suspended after the arrest and have since resigned from the department. Then they said they're due to be arraigned later Tuesday tomorrow in Brooklyn and federal court. They said the alleged actions taken by Justin McMillan and Justin Colon are despicable. And I agree. And a complete violation of public's trust in the nypd. And this according to NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch. The. I agree. And I mean, I don't know, man. You know, I got. I get. You got to have workers on the street. Yeah, I've been a part of these backgrounds on people, Nashley, with the polygraphs and everything else and then. And reading backgrounds reports and psychological exams and whatever. And I don't know what these would have got or maybe NYPD pass them. So they have officers on the street. But you're gonna rob prostitutes. I mean, most of the time. I mean, I'm not talking about sex trafficking shit. But most of the time, they're prostituting to support their drug habits. It's not like they're going to have a bunch of money. Public service announcement. Cops don't rob prostitutes. And fill them up. It's time for Dum Dum in the court. All right, y', all, people steal all kinds of. You know, the priest earlier in the episode stole baseball cards and he only got a thousand dollars worth. And, yeah, that people are just dumb. They steal all kinds of stuff. But I bet you never heard of this. Going to Spring Hill in Hernando County. And a Spring Hill man was arrested after law enforcement says he stole more than a half a million dollars. At least he's aspiring to steal a lot, right? Instead of just some baseball cards. A half a million dollars worth of onions and potatoes. A half a million dollars worth of onions and potatoes. Now, if he was from south Louisiana, I think maybe he's gonna hold the largest fucking crawfish bowl in the history of man, because we certainly put those in crawfish bowl. But.

My name is MacKenzie and I started a GoFundMe for the adoptive mother of a nonverbal autistic child. The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic child. So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills. So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis and we raised about $10,000 within just a of couple, couple of months. According to the Department of Justice, Jason Canals, who's 39, was charged with eight counts of interstate transport of stolen property. Now Canals is accused of perpetrating multiple schemes to defraud wholesale produce Companies. And in one scheme, officials say Canals used a company's name and email signature block without permission to send communications to companies that were requesting produce. Now, while the shipments were in route, the Department of Justice said Canals diverted the produce to a new location and never paid the companies. Well, I still don't know what you do with fucking half a million dollars worth of potatoes and onions. But in a separate incident, Canals provided false documentation to the companies making them believe he had prepaid for the produce, when in fact he didn't pay for between the cost of the produce and his transportation. The DOJ said canal schemes resulted in the loss of over $600,000 to the company. So I got it wrong at 500 and he went to jail. And the convicted of all counts, he faces a maximum penalty of. Wait for it, $600,000. I would almost take this lick. He faces a maximum of 10 years in federal prison, which means he'll be out in like three. So he's making $200,000 a year. Well, I don't know. He probably had to sell it for half of that. Should really be a dumb, dumb in the court. It's time for family matters, y'. All. We do these stories way too freaking often and you never gonna know what goes on behind closed doors with children, right? Especially people like these who are supposed to be upstanding citizens. But we're going. A Milton couple is charged with child neglect with great bodily harm after the Santa Rosa Sheriff's investigators say they starved their 11 year old son to the point that he was severely malnourished and only weighed 36 pounds when they brought him to the hospital back in December of 2025. 11 years old, 36 pounds. It's disgusting. But here makes it even more disgusting. Investigators arrested 40 year old Brandon Palomar, who is a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force stationed at Duke Field. They also arrested his wife, 38 year old Chantelle Palmore, who did not work outside the home. I guess her full time job was staying there. Make sure that 11 year old kid didn't get anything neat, right? According to the details in the Palomar arrest reports of the four children in the household, which included three sisters ranging in age from 11, 6 and 5. The 11 year old boy was the only member who was regularly denied food, locked out of the pantry and confined to his room where he was forced to exercise and not allowed to sit or lay down until it was time to go to sleep. Oh Lord. One of his sisters, one of the girls, told the investigators that her Brother quotations is on punishment and has to stand in his room all day. She said there is a gate located upstairs in the hallway so he can't get out in a lock on the pantry so he can't open it. He has to do push ups and leg climbers and has to stand in his room and is not allowed to sit down or their mom gets angry. He eats expired bread and eats rice and beans for breakfast, but he does not eat lunch or dinner. The girl reported that she and her sisters are allowed to have more food. And according to the sheriff's office, the Palomars told the deputies the child received plenty but was on a strict diet because of food allergies and that they mostly kept him confined in his room where they watched him through a camera to ensure he exercised and that he didn't steal any food. Bruh. Okay. You know when you're getting a confession, it's out someone you want seem like they're. You're on their side and get them to open up to you or whatever. And this is actually what these detectives did and this is their explanation. Yeah, I'm not. We monitoring my camera. We'll make sure he exercises all day long, but we don't feed him anything but beans and rice because he's got food allergies anyway. So he was. He was not allowed a chair, a TV or any toys. But his sisters were naturally. And they said. One of the boy's sisters stated that his room has a camera, a bed, a blue table and a toy thing. She stated that he doesn't have sheets, covers or a pillow on his bed because of the things he's been doing lately, like stealing, lying and blaming. And she said that he had been stealing food and peanut butter crackers from someone's backpack and goldfish and a Gatorade. And he was in school last year when he was in fourth grade. She also disclosed that he had to do mountain climbers all night. Y', all. That's like when you get on all fours and you have to do one leg up back, next leg up back. It's just horrible. The boy told child services investigators that he was homeschooled and taken out of public school because he was misbehaving, like lying and stealing food. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have been stealing food if you fed him. The investigative officer said he spoke with the boy's former assistant principal and teacher where he previously attended school. And he said the child's teacher stated she submitted at least 2 to 3 Department Children Services reports due to the boy always being hungry and stealing food. She stated that on one occasion he took some chicken out of a trash can in the cafeteria so he could eat it. This cordon to Officer Deputy Cole Foster and he said another incident, he stole some goldfish out of a kid's backpack. In a separate incident, he stole what she believes was a peanut butter granola bar. Bruh, you do three reports because this baby is starving. And look, when Cindy used to teach fifth grade and, and some of her poor kids, she would bring like food from our house in bags and, and like it was a holiday weekend or whatever, she knew they were going home, they weren't gonna get to eat. She would put, she would put the food in their backpacks. You know, she just knew. And, and, but you gotta tell and it, if you don't get the answer the first time, call their boss. But that back to the story the boy told authorities. He can't come out of his room unless he's told he can't and he must exercise to the point his arms and legs hurt. So you know the boy's not going to tell everything right off, right? So the, the investigators have to build a rapport with them to get them to talk and they did. So after building a rapport with the boy, the investigator asked about his recent birthday. And the boy said he did not do anything for his birthday and did not get anything, which made him sad. He told the investigator he also did not get anything for Christmas, but his sisters did. And according to the boy, he did not get birthday presents because he was in trouble for lying. He did tell the investigator that his sisters behaved better than he does me. One of his sisters told deputies he once ate a tube of toothpaste because he was so hungry. I. I'm getting more pissed off as, as I go through this. Me tell you real quick how it was discovered. The deputy said the Department of Children and Families notified the Santa Ros Rosa Sheriff's office about the situation back on December 17th of 2025. The 11 year old boy had been referred to Sacred Heart hospital back on December 9, 2025 for severe caloric malnourishment. And he weighed approximately 36 pounds. And after spending a month in the hospital, he, the child gained 20 pounds, which was a 55% increase in his body weight. Hospital records show the child weighed 35 pounds when he was seen at the medical facility when he was eight years old. Says three years later and he only weighs one more pound. This baby has been tortured for ever and it gives me the case of a red ass. According to the arrest reports, the boy's 11 year old sister weighed 101 pounds. Figure that out. His 5 year old sister weighed 31 pounds and his 6 year old sister weighed 39 pounds. But he weighed 11. The arrest report provided a summary of what DCF and the sheriff investigators learned through the interviews with the boys and his sisters and the parents. Now, dear old dad Brandon Palomore told deputies they are strict with him. By the way, this is an officer in the United States Air Force. He said they are strict with him because he overeats and he sneaks food so they put a lock on the pantry. Brandon told investigators he suspects his son has a neurological or physiological issue with food because he cannot eat what his siblings eat. They need to lock this dude up and starve him. He said the boy has ate out of his the trash can even after eating the full meal. Anyway, they said he eats enough. And Brandon believes there's something wrong with the boy's body. They said he's seeing a psychiatrist and he's fuck that. I don't believe that. And is diagnosed with defiant disorder. And he sometimes lies and is manipulative to get what he wants. That's what Brandon told law enforcement. Now let's go to this wonderful mother, Chantel. Chantelle Palomore said her son regularly sees medical doctors and counselors, but they can't tell her what is wrong with him. I don't believe that either. You're a lion, bitch. She said her son has a tendency to be retaliatory and says he is hungry and is severely defiant at home. And they have to stop him from making himself sick by overeating. Okay. He weighs 11 pounds. That his sister who is his age weighs 101. There's a. He has a problem. One of his problem isn't overeating. But the mom, Chantel told law enforcement if she didn't have a lock on the pantry door, fridge doors or a lock on the gate and he ate something that killed him, there would be an investigation for not watching him. Good enough. Yeah. Okay, go ahead and hang yourself. Give her a little more rope. And here it comes. She told the police, you have not had the experience. You won't know until you have to interact with him every day. And she said she cannot control that the boy is not growing. She is not a doctor. This is insane. Now they waited until my kid was not doing well and admitted him and made it look like it's me. I'm the parent in the portal doing too much. I bring the things to the table for them to try and they are full of. This is her words. And in the summary of notes, they are calling me aggressive. I am damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't. I did Look, y'. All. They go on about the. The doctors and what they say. So although Chantelle, who the family says basically handled her son's medical appointments, although she told investigators that doctors never really gave a treatment plan, investigators say medical staff say otherwise. Doctors told investigators they recommended the pal Morris take their son to a dietitian back in 2024, but there's no documentation indicating that it was done. They said they also recommended medications for his allergies, but his mother was reluctant to start him on them and that she also refused an allergy test and pushed instead for a genetic test. Medical staff told child services and sheriff's investigators that a medical exam revealed the boy had failure to thrive, inadequate nutrition, improper feeding, and that that was directly attributed to the caregiver negligence, meaning, mom, you're a stupid. And they said this can lead to long term deficits in intellectual, social and psychological function. Doctors also said he suffered from other problems like asthma, refeeding syndrome, ethnophilic stuff. I can't even read all this, y'. All. And that is a bunch of, you know, all from they starved his ass. But investigators said failure to comply with medical recommendations interfered and delayed determining the causal factor of his severe malnutrition. Thankfully, Brandon and Chantel Palmore were arrested on March 5, but both were released after jail after they posted a $10,000 bond. I don't agree with that. In accordance to Chantelle's book and information, she is to abide by the department, Children's Services, whatever they call it. Case plan and contact with the victim is to be managed by dcf. There should be no contact that authorities were unable to confirm. If the other children were removed from the home again, that take them. But a spokesperson for the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office said it appears the boy was the only person in the house who was treated that way. Well, that doesn't matter. You leave the other three in. Who's to say they're not going to catch the. The ear of the mother and the father? That. That. That the. It. I'm done with it. That. That y'. All. This is evidently is in Milton, Florida. And they said that family has lived in Milton for the past six years, but they're originally from North Carolina and they're due Back in court on April 2nd. I don't understand. Look, when I was young, the. This is true. It's kind of. This is funny. It's not like my dad was doing anything that I didn't deserve. But the. My dad used to wake me up as punishment. Wake me up before school, made me go run laps. We lived in the country. Go run laps, lift weights, and swim before school as punishment. And then I had to go to school all day long, then go to football practice or basketball, whatever it was. And after school, I had to come home, lift weights, run and swim laps as punishment. Okay, he did that. I wasn't doing mountain climbers all night. He did it just like. Because he knew the weapons didn't work anymore. And I believe. And I deserved it. I wasn't, you know, doing what this baby was doing. I probably smashed somebody's mailbox or whatever. I don't know. I was always in trouble. But the. The one time he did. And I mean, my buddy Jamie Hunt laugh about to this day, he did put. He put a chain and a padlock on the ice box. Because he would always cook himself a steak. He would cook steak for everybody that he would cook his steak and save and eat last. He would save half of it and put it in the ice box. Well, they were like. There were seven of us. And then, of course, we always had our friends over. And me and my buddy would go to the icebox late at night and we eat. Eat the rest of his steak the next day. One time. One time of doing it was too many. And the next day he woke up and he. He had the real case of the red ass and went and bought probably the only chain and padlock. Padlock he ever bought in his entire life. Because my daddy wasn't a fixer. He was a lawyer. But he went and bought a chain and a padlock and he locked the ice box up until my mom one day got pissed off. Was like, you gotta unlock the ice box. I can't ever find the key when I need to cook dinner and you're not here. But he did that, you know, because we ate his butt. Obviously, I never starved. Yeah, I don't get it. The. Those people just really wish we could have pay per view and people like this. You could, like, pay for view and all the proceeds go. Or half the proceeds could go to foundations to help these kids. But pay to watch these sit in a room and starve for years on end, Right? Just like you just check in the Netflix anytime you want to and see how much they starve, how much weight they lost them. Woody Overton maintains a blunt, irreverent, and emotional style—mixing gallows humor (“Pay-per-view to watch abusive parents starve”), righteous anger (especially about child victims), and down-home storytelling. He weaves personal experience, ridicule of criminals, and police-insider takes throughout, breaking up harrowing stories with moments of levity and relatable tangents.
This episode is a vivid demonstration of what makes “Real Life Real Crime” compelling: Woody’s ability to shift from shocking and sad to funny and insightful, never shying away from calling out hypocrisy or evil. If you want to get a sense of American true crime storytelling—with a Southern flavor, lawman’s eye, and unsparing advocacy for victims—this is essential RLRC listening.
