Time for Thursday, March 19, 2026 and I'm Woody over rolling Solo in the studio today bringing you the true crime stories from around the world. Right? But this episode and all episodes are brought to you by Big J Side porch in Clinton, Louisiana. And tonight is bingo night which starts promptly at 7pm so we're gonna get there around 6. They'll have crawfish and all that great Cajun country cooking by Chef Big J in ice cold beer, but you can bring your kids to I'm bringing my 15 year old and, and bringing my mother is 84 year old. So to be love and lots of fun and y' all come see us right at 1088 Highway 67, Clinton, Louisiana. Big J, side porch. All right. Today, March 19th, when I was 14 years old. Oo those some good years. The back in 1984. On March 19th, the remains of Jacqueline Brandy Miller and Christina Nelson were discovered outside of Lewiston, Idaho. The stepsisters disappeared from a grocery store near the Lewiston Civic Theater. The two women are believed to be victims of a killer in the area who had targeted three others near the Snake River. And guess what, y'. All, the killer has never been found. 84 and it's 94. 2004, 14, 24, 40 years ago. If they were 20 then, it'd be in their 60s now. Hell or jail. I don't know. Maybe they're alive. I'm sure they didn't just stop killing. Maybe they went to prison for something else. But that being said, hashtag justice for Haley. We're getting close to y'. All. We need a little bit more. Go. Go to GoFundMe and look it up. Ms. Barbara Johnson is handling the money for Scott Roeder in the evidence room. We're almost there. Let's get that murder indictment. If you can give something, please go to any of our social media. It's posted and we need to get to 10,000. I think we're close to 8,000 now. And hashtag just for Bradley. Hashtag just for AO and hashtag just for Ms. Barbara Blind. Thank you for calling me your tips. I really appreciate it. And we're always going to be working all of them. And hashtag what happened to Madison? Holy smokes, man. The this case has got a life of its own. And. I'm afraid. Well, I like I said, I wish Madison would come walking through the door, but I don't believe that's going to happen. But we'll see where it goes. So the those episodes drop on Tuesdays and Patreon convicts. You get a commercial free early releases on Saturday. So that being said, let's get out of some true crime time for this Thursday. Bingo. Thursday now, right. All right, so touch on it real quick. Melanie Curtin, who had been previously sentenced to life for an aggravate. Well, I used to call it aggravated right. They, they call it, I think first degree right now. And where it used to be called aggravated rape, but the state changed it. She had been sentenced to life for her part. She was Found guilty, she went to trial. Her part in the. Allegedly raping an unconscious woman on video with Dennis Perkins, who. Y' all know how I feel about that bag. And Denny is the one who I came up with and. And all that, but I hadn't seen him, like, 12 or 13 years when he got. He got arrested for raping babies, him and his wife, and putting semen and cupcakes and all kinds of foul. But this was a separate case, and Denny never had to go to trial for. Because he played out to 99 years in the other cases. But she got convicted, and the appellate courts overturned her conviction, saying that, you know, the judge didn't let in some stuff that was biased against her case. And I know, I know I'm not telling y' all anything you don't know, but she was found not guilty in the retrial, so she walks free. And I think the trial only last. It didn't last that long. But the. The victim took the stand again. I think Melanie, curtain side, presented one defense witness, and it didn't take the jury long. A couple hours, and they came back and found they're not guilty. So that is your justice system at work. And we don't want anyone innocent to be in prison. Our system isn't perfect, but it still remains the best in the world. So that's the end of that story. And the. I watched the. What Melanie said when she left the courtroom. Remember, she used to be my realtor back in the day. And she said when they asked her, you know, what do you want to say to the people of this parish? She said, I will never be back. So there you have that. And you can't really blame her on that one. Right. It's time for family matters. Yeah. We're going out to Memphis, Tennessee. Graceland, home of Elvis. Right. And this is a sad story. You know, let's talk about this for a second. The. Everywhere you go in my house, there's a firearm. And, yes, they're all loaded. And. And I know that shocks people and it's against your senses and all that, but everybody in my family is trained to treat every firearm like it's loaded, even if it's not loaded. Right. But I can promise you mine are loaded. And when guests come over, I tell them the same thing. Don't touch a firearm. All of them are loaded. Right. Gun safety is always a paramount thing. And for my family and anyone who comes to my home because of stories like this in a Memphis family is mourning the loss of a 33 year old woman who was fatally shot and what authorities say was an accidental shooting which was done by her four year old son. Now according to police, Ashley Kimmins was found dead on March 6 in a shopping center area along Shelby Drive in Memphis. Investigators say one of her children gained access to a firearm and accidentally pulled the trigger. The and the cops have not came out and said how the kid got the gun. But Kim's mother, Carolyn Hammer, said she feared the worst after receiving a call from her grandchildren's school asking that the children be picked up. Soon afterwards she saw a post on social media showing a truck that looked like her daughters at the scene of the reported shooting. And she said I prayed the whole time I seen the picture until the time I got to this scene and hoping it wasn't her. And that's what she told the local WREG news, she said but it was her. So Hammer said she realized the tragic news when she arrived and saw her son in law rushing towards her in distress. She said he ran to me and broke down and that's when I really knew it was her. Hammer described her daughter as the cornerstone of the family. She's just my first everything. She's the one that made me a mama. She's the one that made me a grandmama. So the tragedy unfolded on a day that was supposed to be a celebration for the family and one of Kim and his children had just turned 16 years old. Hammer said the family is now focused on supporting Kim's children and husband as they navigate the loss. She said, we're going to stick together as a family and we're going to raise my grandkids. Whatever I need to do, whatever needs to be done for them, that's what we're going to do now. Authorities are not announced any charges related to the incident, and investigations into the accidental shootings involving children often focus on how firearms were stored and whether proper safety measures were in place. The all this is kind of disturbing. Listen to this. Incidents involving young children and unsecured firearms have raised ongoing concerns among safety advocates who stress the importance of secure gun storage at homes where children are present. Police have not released additional details about the weapon involved or whether it belonged to someone in the family. As the investigation continues, Kim's family says they are leaning on community support and prayer while they grieve the sudden loss of a mother, daughter and sister. That you know I worked, I worked some of these and it's just absolutely sad. I'm one that sticks out of my mind is three brothers were playing in the room with a shotgun and they had been rabbit hunting or something and one of them pulled the trigger and the damn thing was loaded and it killed. Killed his brother. And I'm talking about they were young. Like they weren't four years old, but they were 12 and under, you know. And it's a horrible tragedy. No one wants to work that case. And back to me having all the firearms loaded in my home. My son is 15 now. But I can promise you I raised all my kids in the home with loaded weapons. But I can promise you I train them the. I mean I. Not when they're toddlers. I wouldn't leave them where they could get to get to them etc. But they are trained to never touch a firearm and or never pick it up and certainly never aim at anyone unless you intend to kill. And don't pull the trigger unless you intend to kill something because you can never get that bullet back. Sucks that it happens every day in. Yeah, it is disturbing. I. I don't think that I'm lucky because it's never happened to us. I think that I know that it's because of the proper training. So y' all will keep your weapons safe. It's time for family Matters in the Real Life Real Crime original series. I told you a story about the babysitter, which was actually the mama's boyfriend who held the baby under hot water to get it to. I mean, I got the confession out of him. And the. I was like, yeah, your friends, it's not even your kid and your friends are out partying. He was young. Y' all are like 18 or 20. And you're stuck here babysitting while she's at work at Walmart. And you know, I'm sure the baby cried and was being an. And all this and he was nodding his head yeah. And I said, you, you know, tell me what you did. And he ended up confessing that he held the baby under. He got the water as hot scalding as he could and he held the baby under the water until it quit crying. And in the. When the mama got home the next morning, she went in the room and the baby, the skin is sloughed off and all that. Just a piece of. And I hope that still in prison. But here's another one y'. All and you know, parenting and easy just like that kid in my story found out, right? You know, you are responsible for your kids, everything, feeding them and. And raising them and teaching them right from wrong and. And how to grow up to be productive members of society. And it, it's not an easy job. There's no handbook on parenting. Right. But this story. Yeah. He's supposed to protect your children and love them. I'm going to tell you about a special. His name is Miguel Santiago Gonzalez, and he's 28 years old. And in September of 2022, the Lufkin, Texas Police Department was called by Woodland Heights Medical center over a toddler who had suffered severe burns. And. And so the cops get to the hospital and this guy Gonzalez, he's there, right. And he is the boyfriend of the kid's mother. And the cops try to talk to him. He was in. He was basically a. He didn't want to talk to him, he was uncooperative. Etc. So they ended up arresting him at the home over another outstanding warrant. This is in the arrest warrant for this baby. So originally, Gonzalez told the cops that he was given the toddler bath and the temperature of the water was set to lukewarm. And when he left the young girl alone for two minutes, he claims he briefly was talking with his roommate in the hallway and he insisted he was within earshot of the bathroom, but he didn't hear anything. Right. He then claimed that he returned and the child had turned on the hot water herself and burned herself so badly her skin was already showing signs of peeling. Well, at least they got him to admit to being there and what have you. Now the cops got to do what they got to do and investigate it. And when they did, after reviewing the girl's injuries, they determined the toddler was a victim of immersion abuse. I didn't even know that was a term, but immersion abuse where she was intentionally submerged in hot water. And they said they could tell because her torso and below that had the burn marks. Had she been splashing or turning in the water, the burn would have appeared in her upper torso area. So authorities also noticed that given the extreme nature of her burns, there was no way she could have been silent when this happened. Right. You. And like the guy in my story, the baby was screaming until it wasn't. It's because it was in shock. So they said. Detectives completed the emergency burn test checklist and found the max water temperature to be a hundred and forty three degrees Fahrenheit. This is in the rest report 143. Think about that. The. I mean, that is unbelievable. So the child, thankfully, she's alive, but she's got to deal with a ton of surgeries to deal with the burns. And the. Gonzalez's defense tried to argue for leniency because he had no previous record of offenses and he had letters of support. The letters were dismissed and considered unreliable. Right? Even have people that'll write them a letter because they love them. See, they don't want them to go to prison. Real life, Real crime. The podcast is brought to you by Progressive Insurance. testified he had previously beaten her to the point of needing stitches. Now she should be in prison. He was officially sentenced to 30 years in prison without parole. Well, he'll be out before he's my age. A lot of life left to live on that. And that baby's going to be suffered forever. But they said Gonzalez sentence an innocent child to a life of ongoing pain filled with surgeries and uncertainty about what the future holds. And this according to Angelina County District Attorney Amy Ren. The sentence handed down by Judge Kessel reflects the severity of the actions perpetrated by Gonzalez and acknowledges the suffering of the child and the child's family. Me o I just. If it was my country and I had done the constitution or whatever, everything on crime, I. I promise you, this dude would be on TV and. And they you hold him down in 143 degree water and let his burn off. Hey, it just ought to be an eye for an eye. I mean, I just don't get it. It's time for effed up professionals. Yeah, I used to work a lot of cases where cops get in trouble. And I worked many, many cases where cops got into fights. You know, cops hang out with cops. I remember brother Pete Charlay told me when I became a cop, he said, you need to keep at least one friend that's not in law enforcement. And I said why? He said because cops hang out with cops because only cops get cops and what they go through. And then friend outside law enforcement can help keep you grounded. Now I can't tell you how many times on our nights off they would go to the bar room and just raise hell, right? And, and you're young and dumb and full of stupidity and yeah, happens. You add in alcohol and, and cops and yeah, inevitably there's a cop in the crowd that needs the badge to feel like a man and they're going to get drunk and show their ass. Well listen to this. Rose Webb who's 58 and daughters Casey Jackson who's 32, Emma D. Jackson who's 34 and Billy Joe Jackson 35 were said to have gone over the top in a brawl with off duty cops at a cocktail club on Shaft of Shaftesbury Avenue. Now the police officers have been this quotations letting their hair down and enjoying the High School Musical themed brunch drinking Prosecco. Oh my God, they don't get me started on Prosecco. I don't drink it myself but I've seen people drinking that just lost their Jesus. But they were drinking Prosecco, eating pizza and singing we are all in this together now the two groups were dancing close to each other when Webb became annoyed at PC Tanisha Whitlock Stanson and this, this is actually a two for right it's time for worldwide crime anyway so they're out there dancing, they're partying and this lady gets mad at or you know this cop stancing and this, this is being heard in the Wood Green Crown Court. Web is said to have yelled lesser at PC Whitlock as her colleagues Danielle Andrean Binyao Valley, Megan Pearson and Bethan Thomas all became involved in the struggle. But the mother of four and grandmother to Web along with Casey, Emma D and Billy Joe were all clear by jury of afray after claiming they had been acting in self defense Webbing, her daughters chose not to testify. Right, but represent herself. Webb told jurors firstly, I was acting in defense of my daughter Billy Joe and secondly in defense of myself and the chaos that ensued. She said the CCTV confirms their claim that the police officers were their aggressors. The Dominic Thomas who's defended Billy Joe slammed off to the officers for strutting around as if they own the place and turn the venue into the TSG dance room. And he blamed PC Whitlock's manic aggressive dancing for starting the fight and said the best way to describe it was like she was like an angry chicken, I guess. She bumped into her and she didn't like it. But prosecutor Alex Balance, he said all the women involved had been drinking on October 15th this way back in 2022. Well, we already established that they're drinking for sake of eating pizza. They said everyone started off in a good mood, singing and having a good time. And Rose Webb started trying to engage in conversation with the officers, said Ms. Whitlock. Clearly the more social one was dancing. It seemed to annoy at some point, Ms. Webb. So the four defendants appeared to move away from that area. And at some point Ms. Webb, she was going to the bathroom and headed towards the officers. And it would appear that along the way she pushed one of the defendants and then Sugar turned the Casey Jackson appears to try to just to calm it down and break up the matter, y'. All. And Webb then made her alleged homophobic remark, which made everything really, all the Sugar turn to. The whole thing erupted into an almighty melee. The prosecutor said Rose Rev grabbed the hair. Ms. Whitlock dragged her along the floor and simply would not let go. Even when eventually they managed to get her to release her grip, she went back and punched Ms. Whitlock in the head. Those four defendants simply lost it and went over the top. And the complainants were trying to restrain them. Now, other members of the public tried to jump in to separate the parties, and members of the staff jumped in, too, as a holy true ballroom brawl, y'. All. They got the pictures in the CCTV and Everybody's slinging. But Ms. Pearson told the court she was trying to get Web to let go of the tufts of Ms. Woodlock's hair she was clinging to. Should I hit her in the chest and neck to try to make her release the grip. There was a lot of screaming from Tanisha at that point. I looked down at Female one, who's Web, and Tanisha and I got hit in the face and I said, what the is wrong with you lot? And then one of the daughters replied, that's my mom. I said, well, your mom is holding on to my friend. And we dragged female one away from the area. Danny or Ms. Whitlock had a mouth full of blood. She was crying and she said she'd been kicked in the face. Well, the police officer, Valley, told the court it was chaotic and there were arms and legs and people everywhere. Ms. Whitlock was screaming, help me. And trying desperately to get out of this pile of people on top of her. And I reached forward to try and pull her out of the situation. And I was trying to get them to stop and she was screaming help me. And her lip was cut and I was trying to release the grip of the person pulling her hair. The wrong family were all clear of the charges by the jury on the 13th day of the trial. Thirteen days for a bar room fight which prompted judge Alexander Jacob to quip, unlucky some, but maybe not for others. And it took the jury a total of 12 hours and 14 minutes to find him not guilty. Yeah, the footage shows the fight lasts for roughly four minutes. And it was messy hair pulling, pushing and wrestling between the two groups of women. Now, two men stepped in about halfway to try to break up the the fight. But the nine women continue to take pot shots at each other. The brawl starts with one woman pushing another onto the booth and seating after the groups were angrily arguing. It then descends into chaos as each woman starts fighting with another. So anyway y' all the show and don't let the cops, cops. If you're a young rookie out there and you listen when you go out with your friends, just have a good time because it's too much testosterone, male or female, and sugar can turn the shed and that's for sure. I guess it's just a this kind of a day. It's time for family matters. This one, this one is bad. And we're going to Monroe, Wisconsin. I didn't know, I've actually been there. And a man has been sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of two felonies charges in connection with the death of his newborn daughter when he was 16 years old. So Logan Kruenberg Anderson, who's now 21, was sentenced March 16 for the 2019 death of his daughter Harper. And in November of 2025 he was found guilty of one count each of first degree intentional homicide and hiding the corpse of a child. The local WMTV reported at the time of the conviction that Harper's 14 year old mother. 14, 16 and 14. Harper's 14 year old mother, whose name has not been released, gave birth in a bathtub on January 5th of 2021. She told police that she and Crackerberg Anderson had decided they were unable to keep the child in. Krukenberg Anderson told his girlfriend he was taking Harper to a better home. He then took the child into the woods in a backpack. Yeah. Four days after Harper was born, her maternal grandfather called police to say Kruckenberg Anderson had taken Harper. Oh, this is up. Harper had been placed in the snow inside A fallen tree in the woods near the home. Kruckenberg Anderson, the 16 year old dad, he then shot her twice in the head. I mean, Wisconsin does not have the death penalty. This deserves it. According to Long Crime reported that they said. When the teens were initially questioned by the police, they said Harper had been taken to an adoption agency by someone they met on Snapchat. Well, that's not true, obviously. Later, Krukenberg Anderson led police to Harper's body. He said he had brought her to the woods so she would die of exposure. But then he shot her when he heard her starting to cry. Shot her twice. Four day old baby, believe it or not, y'. All. No charges were filed against Harper's mother. The prosecutor, Adrian Bless said that Harper's mother and Krukenberg Anderson were in over their heads. He said it's about one person fantasizing playing house. It's about one person bent on erasing a problem because that was what Harper was to him, a problem to screw up his life. So he got rid of her. So he just tried to make her go away. Well, it's not immersion burns, right? It's first degree intentional homicide. by Grainger for the ones who get it done. Krukenberger Anderson, believe it or not, this will be eligible for the possibility of extended supervision or parole after 45 years. So again, he'll be like my age. On the count of hiding the corpse of a child, he was sentenced to four years of confinement followed by three years of extended supervision. Again, parole and the sentences will run concurrently. Wow. He's already getting 1,891 days of credit for time serve. So that's like four or five years and he'll. He'll be out in 39. I don't. Again, best justice in the world. But it definitely isn't perfect. It's time for worldwide crime. It's time for effed up professionals. I want to talk about this dude. Everybody's heard of him. Well, if you're my age, you've heard of him and Cesar Chavez and y', all, he was like famous for being an advocate for Laborers and all that in just. I'm talking about like in the 60s and I just remember they did movies about him and documentaries about him. Etc. Well, guess what happened now. Some truth came out after an investigation from the New York Times. Cesar Chavez, the iconic labor leader, is accused of sexually assaulting two underage girls in the 1970s, as well as a fellow farm worker leader whose name was Dolores horta. In the 1960s, the New York Times interviewed the two women who said they were sexually abused by Chavez. One repeatedly when they were children. Y', all. Sexually abuse is a nice way in saying he raped the out of these when they were kids. They said both women have struggled with depression, panic attacks and substance abuse in the years since. They maintained their silence for decades, fearing speaking out with tarnished Mr. Chavez legacy, but decided in recent months after being approached by reporters that their their stories also counted. And they do, y'. All. It doesn't matter how great A is at helping other people. If you're behind closed door, you're raping babies. So Mr. Chavez, this is what they said. Mr. Chavez drove her out to secluded Grapefield in Delano, California, parked and forced her to have sex inside the vehicle. Now he enforces grape. She said she chose not to report the assault to police the rape to police because of their hostility toward the movement. She feared that no one within the union would believe her. Right, Because Chavez is this angel. In an Instagram post, her Arthur said For the last 60 years she's kept this secret because quotations. I believed exposing the truth would hurt the farm worker movement. I have spent my entire life fighting for her to say she experienced two separate sexual encounters with Chavez. The first time, she was manipulated and pressured into having sex with him and felt she couldn't say anything because he was her boss and the leader of a movement. She devoted her lifetime, she said the second time I was forced against my will and in an environment where I felt trapped. I had experienced abuse and sexual violence before, and I convinced myself these were incidents that I had to endure alone and in secret. And guess what, Horta? You. You think Horta became pregnant from both sexual encounters? Rape, y'. All. New York, Los Angeles. I'm reading this from Los Angeles Times. It's rape. Huerta became pregnant from both sexual encounters. And after the children were born, she arranged for them to be raised by other families. She said, over the years, I have been fortunate to develop a deep relationship with these children who are now close to my other children and their siblings. But even then, no one knew the full truth about how they were conceived until just a few weeks ago. Now, the newspapers investigation found that Chavez fathered four children out of wedlock with three other women and that there have been whispers within the movement for decades about his conduct of being a rapist. The Times investigation reported that a handful of Chavez relatives and former form worker leaders have been aware of allegations of sexual misconduct for years, but found no evidence that they made any efforts to investigate the accusations against him or to acknowledge the victims or their complaints. Horta said the New York Times indicated she was not the only victim of Chavez in the quotations. The knowledge that he hurt young girls sickens me. My heart aches for everyone who suffered alone and in silence for years now. These revelations come a day after the United Farm Worker said it would not participate in the celebrations of Chavez due to the troubling allegations against him. Let's talk about that for a second. Dude can't defend himself and. But this like dead priest in the Catholic Church that can't defend themselves doesn't mean all these kids are lying. Right? So. But I think that the organization choosing for. I mean I remember every year they celebrate him in marches and stuff like that. But them not acknowledging him speaks volumes. But the claims against Chavez are incompatible with our organization values. Some of the reports are family issues and not our story to tell or our place to comment on. Far more troubling are allegations involving abuse of young women or minors, allegations that very young women or girls may have been victims or crushing. We have not received any direct reports and we do not have any firsthand knowledge of these allegations. This according to the union. Tuesday morning, the Caesar Chavez foundation said in a statement that he had become aware of of disturbing allegations that Caesar Chavez engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with women and minors during his time as the president of the United Farm Workers of America. Right y'. All. Even it's rape allegations. Not just disturbing allegations. The foundation said it was working with leaders in the farm worker movement to be responsive to these allegations and support the people who might have been harmed a little bit about Chavez. He became a national nationally prominent in the mid-1960s in the San Joaquin Valley. Chavez Gala galvanized public support on behalf of them. After organizing community groups across Central and Southern California for decades, agricultural laborers had lived in substandard housing, were paid terrible wages, and efforts to organize migrant laborers were usually crushed violently by farmers and local law enforcement. Chavez legacy became increasingly tarnished as the years went on. Labor victories became fewer and fewer and his fierce criticism of illegal immigration. Chavez argued that they undercut his unionization efforts. Right. He wanted in there. So they get the union fees and back in as recently as 2006, which is now 20 years ago, they talked about how Chavez's legacy began to crumble. So prayers and thoughts for all the victims that here's the deal. The all the good you do, you, you rape one baby, one female, what have you. I mean, I guess you think you're in such a position of power and authority that you're untouchable. Hey, you know, it happens all the time from cops to doctors to whatever, teachers, priests. And it's up, you know, it just shouldn't have happened. Hell or jail. All right, I'm going take you to Toledo, Ohio. And this is, this is a sad case too. Authorities in Ohio say a man will serve decades in prison for raping a child. And they say they didn't call it a sexual assault for raping a child. Guess what? He didn't just rape her, he impregnated her. Right? Judge Lori Olender sentenced Isaiah Monroe to serve at least 22 years in prison for his convictions on two counts of rape. He is also considered a Tier 3 sex offender and will be on the sex offender registry for the rest of his life. Prosecutors said Monroe was 19 years old when he raped a 12 year old girl and got her pregnant. They said a 12 year old child should be worrying about school, friends and being a kid this quarter. Lucas county prosecutor Julia Bates. She should not have to endure trauma that will follow her for the rest of her life. Now Monroe pled guilty to two counts of rape as part of this plea agreement and was sentenced on February 26. They said the sentence holds Isaiah Monroe accountable, ensures he will spend decades in prison for the harm he calls. And this case came about, y', all because a Toledo police investigation with the Lucas county assistant prosecuted Jennifer Elfie leading the prosecution. No word as to whether the baby had a baby and the 12 year old had a baby. But I don't know. I don't think 22 years is long enough again. Put them on TV, let them rape him, impregnate him up the bum. It's time for F up professionals bringing it right back home to end this show In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, let me tell you something. I shipped four large boxes with FedEx the and we have delivered every day. I had some turkey calls and stuff delivered by Amazon, but I shipped four boxes to Florida. I patted them myself and did whatever the company sent me the boxes or showed me pictures of the boxes when they received them. They were, they were ripped into, they were crushed. These are long boxes. They're crushed, ripped into, torn. A lot of the items were damaged etc. Right. And I get the boxes are heavy but you know, you paid for something to be shipped, you expected to be taken care of. And now I didn't have to write fragile because I used rolls and rolls of bubble paper. But a lot of the got damaged. But the, I've had packages go missing in the, in the, in the mail before. I have certainly had Amazon's delivered to the wrong addresses and everything else. You got to think about the people that they hire and the work and that work there. And yeah, Amazon is a great company and we got Lord knows my wife and family members loved and me too love to order and have stuff delivered at home. I remember the time when that wasn't an option. So in Baton Rouge they took the old Cortana Mall, which was in the good mall. We had a shitty mall Bon Marche and Cortana Mall became the good mall. And now they close it down because the mall Louisiana. But the it's now been turned into the Amazon distribution center. And guess what? You put people there. People, you know, everything I'll order on Amazon is really cool to me. Right. What does that breed? It breeds thieves. So two former Amazon employees stole items worth thousands of dollars from the company's warehouse on Cortana Place in Baton Rouge. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department. The former workers were Devonte seals, who was 21, and Byron Johnson, who was 33. And arrest warrants show authorities are still searching for the suspects on charges of felony theft. Now, the investigation in the Seals began when police were contacted by the lost provincial worker at Amazon. Authorities said they were told that Seals stole about seventeen hundred dollars worth of items on two separate occasions when when he was working at the warehouse. However, Seals admitted to stealing more than $3,000 worth of Amazon products during a termination interview. And that's when they called the cops in and the cops made their arrest warrant. But this dude's in the wind, right? So the warrant says items that he stole include an Apple iPad, 11 screen and Apple AirPods. Surveillance video provided by Amazon Loss Prevention workers show Seal stuffing some of the stolen items down his pants and in a backpack before he left his workstation and the warehouse. Imagine he wouldn't put his in the car. But police said they were also contacted by Amazon Loss Prevention worker about Johnson. And an arrest warrant shows Johnson admitted to stealing about $22,000 worth electronics including the this. So look, they get them they, they get the complaint the hadn't been delivered, they track it back down and never got on the truck because they got to scan everything. So they find them in the warehouse on the video and they bring him in and be like, you know what, just tell us what happened and we'll just terminate you. Right. Well, he told him and he admitted to stealing $22,000 worth of and then they called the police after he's gone. So. But even though he admitted stealing $22,000 worth of stuff, the loss prevention worker said the video evidence can only prove that he stole $6,340 worth of items. So if you in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, these surrounding areas and you never got your electronics because it's two like this and according to the warrant, the surveillance video shows Johnson stealing items during five separate incidents. And police said that in the footage, the suspects removes items from the bins at his workstation, he opens some packages and stuff the merchandise down the front of his pants. Authorities said the items that Johnson stole include two Apple watches, Apple Pro mini cell phones, Apple AirPods and Samsung cell phones.
