store, along with personal videos displaying the stolen money linked the men to the murder. Now you're gonna kill a guy, take $50,000 off of him, and then you're gonna post them on social media. That should be a dumb dumb in the court. Well, and I know Florida has a death penalty. They didn't say they got it, but they got Florida has it. All right, hashtag just for Haley. We're close. Y' all go to the GoFundMe. It's under hashtag just for Haley or any other social media. Let's bring this home. It's, it's really, really close now. I think we're, we're were less than $2,000 away. And if you can give something, we appreciate it. If you can't, share it. So we can get this evidence, scientific evidence from Scott Rotor in the evidence room that proves that Haley did not shoot herself, which therefore makes Book Cleary get indicted. Right? So otherwise he's going to get out of jail. He got 11 years from moving the body, moving her body and tearing up some police. But that's not enough. It's not murder. He and he was Never charged with the murder. Although the cow county d. A. Is trying to say it's double jeopardy and it's not. So hashtag what happened to Madison. Wow, y'. All. The episode that comes out tomorrow for patreon convicts commercial free early release. Everybody else gets it next Tuesday. Wait till you hear the story of this young lady who was almost a victim. And it's. It's pretty disturbing. And it's disturbing to know that there are people out there actively hunting. Evil exists and it's real. So. All right, let's get down to some true crime time for today. I want to talk about spring break. I used to go to spring break every year. I went probably to way too many years. I went when I was in high school, I'd sneak. Sneak off for a few days and go hang with the older crew. And we always went to Panama city and. Which is in Florida in the panhandle or the fort Walden beach. And the big bar down there then was cashes and everybody had bump stickers. I love cashes and all this. But. But we would go down and you know, a lot of times we didn't have a hotel room. We just crash for friends, sleep on the floor or pass out or whatever. The hookup with somebody, it was just a, you know, non stop party. And the rule was whoever woke up first had to serve everybody else a beer in bed. Right. So. But times have changed and people act like. And you go down there and the last, however many years, it's all been about the shootings and the. And the crimes and everything in these communities. And back in my day, Panama city and fort walden beach and gulf shores and these places in the panhandle they loved when we came because you couldn't move on the main drags that there were that many cars. And every room is booked, every restaurant is booked. And they made millions and millions and millions and millions of dollars. But then it reached the point where, I guess you should say the generation nowadays were being. And they were tearing up and killing people and shootings and all that. So they were like, we're gonna put a stop to this. And they've like banned. You can't even drink a beer on the beach now. And we would stand out there all day long and get sunburned and blistered and they go to the club all night long. And now. So they ban all, you know, alcohols. No beers or no alcohol on the beach. And they really crack down. Well, there's a reason why. And I'm going to tell you A couple of stories about it. And just think about this. This is. These are college kids. Most of them are college kids who are going down there to do the age old tradition of just getting drunk as hell for a week or partying for a week in. Well, now it's just not that away. You remember back when MTV was MTV and they used to do the whole week from spring break, the, you know, all that Club La Villa Cashes, all of them, and they'd walk around the beach and interview people and stuff like that. And look, I did the same thing when I was in college. I would work out hard all year long just to, you know, be super fit to go to the beach. But nowadays, nowadays the cops have used social media or starting to use social media against the spring breakers. Right? And so authorities in the Florida panhandle and y', all, that's all the errors I'm talking about, goes from like Orange beach to Destin, basically. And in authorities in the Florida Panhandle are taking spring break by storm by sharing viral body cam video in an effort to crack down on rowdy college students who are breaking the law. Now, the Bay County Sheriff's Office, which has jurisdiction over the hotspot Panama City, y', all, I mean, spring break was going on there before I was going there. So we're talking like 40 years ago. The they that they've been dealing with this. But the Bay County Sheriff's Office, which has jurisdiction over the hot spot Panama City, has launched a social media campaign looking to deter college students from engaging in unlawful behavior by showing their arrest online. Right. Shame. And they said we appreciate visitors that respect our community and laws but will not tolerate disorder and illegal activity. According to Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford. And he posted this Facebook, he said the department is sharing clips of recent incidents stemming from spring break chaos. And it's getting hundreds of thousands of views, y', all, throughout the Sunshine State. And this because there's a bunch of going down there and do it again. Not all of them, I'm sure, but, you know, if they ban in alcohol cells and a lot of you college students under 21 anyway, they're gonna just hammer your ass when they used to get us on the way down. Because Florida has like what we call a near beer. It's like half the percentage of alcohol what we have here. I remember one time we had 11 cases and they were stopping you on the interstate when you came in Florida and checking cars. And of course we were underage for them. It was still 18 here and it took all our beer and made us attend an alcohol class before we continue your trip. But so that you know, college kids are still going now. And y', all, they're in their 14th episode of Busted in the Panhandle. And the sheriff's office takes viewers along for the ride as they break up multiple house parties and street racing events tied to spring break. A portion of the video shows a chaotic scene outside a residential home in which a college age man is covered in blood while claiming he was jumped as authorities respond to a call regarding a house party disturbance on February 28. According to the incident report attained by Fox News Digital, the cops arrived on the scene to find Steve Claghorn with blood on his face and shirt attempting to enter a vehicle while a woman identified as Ava was yelling at him. Right. That's not gonna end well. So the cops talked to several witnesses and learned that Claghorn had broken up with Ava on her birthday during a party at the house, which led to sugar turn the ship and the pair began to fight. Right. So the altercation turned physical when Claghorn raised his fist and attempted to swing at Ava, but was blocked by the group after officers arrive. The situation quickly escalated after Ava appeared to shove a female police officer, causing her to be taken into custody. News flash or public service announcement. If you put your dick beaters on the police, you're going to jail anyways. Then Claghorn comes to the defense of the girl he just broke up with and says, don't handle her like that. And of course, he appears to be intoxicated. He says, I don't care about the job title. Don't handle her like that. Well, then Ava can be heard hysterically screaming as she is handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car after being arrested on charges of willfully and no knowingly obstructing or opposing a law enforcement officer. Claghorn was arrested on charges of assault and resisting a law enforcement officer without violence. And now they had another clip and it shows officers breaking up a house party hosted by students at the start of spring break on Mars 8. So they had approximately a dozen students dressed in party clothes and bathing suits, and they can be seen filing out of the home as officers try to determine who's in charge of the party. Now, at one point, the students are lined up along the wall and question as to who is currently staying at the house. And they said, we live in a city where people come in for vacation and have a good time, but at no point does that mean that we're going to be okay with people coming into our county or our city and breaking our rules and laws. And this on video. This is a cop telling the group and he says does that make sense? Well then they got another clip and the cops are taking a deed into custody for street racing. This again on February 28th. So the cop witnessed two vehicles and street racing and they reached speeds over 107 miles per hour. Body cam video shows the officers taking the driver in custody. He says I'm under arrest. And the cops said yeah, 107 in a 45 mile per hour zone and he puts the dude in cuffs. And the the driver is identified as Rodney Jackson his rest in charge with racing on the roadway and super speeder speed over a hundred miles miles per hour. Anyway the in response to spring break chaos, the authorities have banned alcohol on Panama City beach for the month of March and bars must close by 2am Back in my day they didn't close y'.

Additionally, the sheriff's office has implemented a nighttime curfew for minors and vacation rentals are barred from being rented to anyone under 21 years of age. Check this out. In nearby Volusia county officials made 133 spring break related arrest over the weekend, y'. All. Less than two days. They said if you plan on engaging in this type of activity, I'd recommend you find somewhere else to go. We encourage parents of minors considering coming to Panama City beach to make them aware of these rules to avoid significant expense and legal consequences because your ass is going to jail. And you know, look, Daytona Beach, I read this one yesterday. I was thinking about it. Daytona beach is like the godfather of spring break. When I started that's where spring break it started at and they had like five shootings in, in a couple days. So then they're still selling alcohol and people still being and that's why they made true crime time for this Friday. I could imagine the people are going to get arrested this weekend. And y' all continue on the theme of spring break. This is a sad store. It's going to end up sad. A 20 year old university of Alabama student from the Chicago area, his name is James or and they call him Jimmy. James Gracie has disappeared during a spring break trip to visit friends who are studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain. So they, they, they're missing. They're searching for him. They got aquatic and drone searches are underway in Barcelona on Thursday for missing University of Alabama student Jimmy Gracie. The sources from the local police told the El Periodico newspaper on Thursday that a Search was launched at sea Thursday morning with a deployment of aquatic and underwater units. A drone unit has also been deployed.

Police also found Gracie's wallet floating in the water near Somoso Beach. James Jimmy Gracie of Elmhurst, Illinois, was last seen around 3am after visiting the Waterfront Shoko restaurant and nightclub on March 17. And this cording his mama, Teresa Gracie. So the local police carried out searching the waters near that area on Wednesday, but had they didn't find anything, y'. All and the Marine unit of most of the Esquadra, which is Barcelona's police force, they deployed along the Mediterranean coast Thursday amid the ongoing search for missing the university Alabama student Jimmy Gracie, like I told you so after Gracie failed to return to the Airbnb he had rented with friends on the spring break trip, they reported him missing around 1am local time on Wednesday. So they're searching for them and Gracie's whereabouts remain unknown and doesn't look like it's going to end well. Right. But they're still looking. We'll keep I don't know. I don't know if there's any foul play involved in that. He could have got drunk and fell in the water or whatever, but the hope they find him and you go on spring break and you send your kids out and you made it to the University of Alabama and all that and then you're gone. Right. So I don't know too much about this, but I'm put it under this category. It's time for Family Matters. I have never seen this reality television show. I'm I'm pretty sure sitting probably has. But they have a family. The Dugar family in a member of the Dugar family who appeared on the reality television series 19 Kids and Counting has been arrested and is awaiting extradition to Florida to face charges involving alleged crimes against a minor. And this according to the Bay County Sheriff's Office. Same people I was just talking about. Authorities said that Joseph Garrett Dugar, who's 31, was arrested out of state and will be extra extradited to Bay County, Florida, where investigators say the incidents occurred. And Dugar is married with four children. Let me go back to the name of the show, 19 kids and counting. Holy. If that's as it sounds and they had, you know, this 19 kids, somebody needs to tell them what calls this at. So the rest comes years after Dugar's older brother, Josh Dugar, was convicted in a Federal Court in 2021 on charges related to child sexual abuse material. Josh Dugar was later sentenced to more than a decade in federal prison and he his earliest Release date is October 2nd of 2032. Now that case brought renewed scrutiny to the Dugar family, whose conservative Christian lifestyle was documented for years on TLC programming. TLC canceled 19 kids in counting following the earliest earlier scandals involved in Josh Duar. Wow. The so the Bay County Sheriff's Office said that Joseph was arrested Wednesday following the investigation into allegations of lewd and lascivious behavior involving a child. And according to the sheriff's office, this lewd and lascivious behavior included molestation of a victim younger than 12 and lewd and lascivious conduct by a person 18 years older. And I don't know they're extradited back but they already said Bay county investigators were contacted by a detective in Tonytown, Arkansas where the dug our family is based and that was regard regarding a report of alleged past sexual abuse. Now this referral led to a joint investigation between Florida and Arkansas law enforcement agencies and during a forensic interview investigators said a child who's now 14 years old disclosed accusations involving Dugar that allegedly occurred when the youth was nine years old during a family vacation to Panama City Beach, Florida. Panama City Beach I've been there 100 times and the one of the only tattoos I have is from there but you in the news today. According to the Bay County Sheriff's Office, the investigation moved quickly after the Arkansas referral with Florida and Arkansas authorities coordinating. After the forensic interview, investigators said that the conduct occurred during a single family trip to Panama City beach and was disclosed years later during the Child Advocacy center interview. Law enforcement said this the case advance after the child's father confronted Dugar on March 17, which leading to admissions that were later cooperated doing interviews with detectives. So I guess dad's gonna beat his ass and he admitted it. Officials said Dagar was arrested when I told you that it's going to be transported blah blah blah. You know that that's we've done a lot of stories on that. People go to the beach towns on vacation and they rape these babies. I'm like you just you know I I don't know. I guess Arkansas would be pretty tough too on them but the you rape a kid under 12 years old in the state of Florida and it's not going to end well for you sir. It's time for effed up professionals y'. All. This is sad story going to Philadelphia and a two month Old is dead and their mom is severely injured after a private ambulance crashed on the way to the hospital in Philadelphia. Investigators say emergency crews were called to the infant's home early Sunday, but the mother and child had already left their home in a private MedStar ambulance before the other first responders could arrive. Now the driver of the ambulance who's 51 year old and who is also reportedly the 2 year old grandfather in and they got him for drunk driving, y'. All.
Guest or Expert Commentator
He's.
Woody Overton
He suspected driving the ambulance while drunk. Savannah's video showed the ambulance run a red light and strike a car before hitting the pole and landing on its side. So say hell of a wreck. Investigators say the driver was under influence driving at a higher speed and did not have his lights or sirens activated. Well, you know, as a cop, you're not going to stop me. Any ambulances, lights on or lights off. The. That means a lot of times you speed without your lights on because people act like idiots when you turn your lights on, they'll slam on the brakes in front of you and stuff like that. But he probably wouldn't have got stopped if he hadn't crashed. But the infant and mom and it was a bad crash. I'm looking at the ambulance on the side. The infant and mom were thrown through the windshield. I'm pretty sure you should have had them strapped in, Grandpa. Both were taken to the hospital where the baby was pronounced dead and the mom is in critical condition. Now the other car involved in the crash hit a building and the driver refused treatment at the scene. That's crazy. The. How the. Does that even work? You call your grandfather because he's an ambulance driver and he's. He's lit. I don't know. It's time for family matters, y'. All. You know these stories about kids dying because parents are neglectful or just sad and, and whether you leave them locked in a hot car or whatever. But let me tell you about this one. I mean, yeah, there's no rule book on parenting and, and judging and all judging other people how they parent. But when it leads to kid's death we can call it up family. So even, you know, obviously some of them don't have any mal. Intent. It's not like they're. They kill the kids on purpose. But we're going to Maryland and a mom named Romachia SIMS killed her 3 year old boy in that time. Her little boy, Jerrera Donnell Lee died from dehydration and hypothermia. And when Police arrived on May 22nd of 2015 they found the mom still pushing the swing set. And this is according to the CBS in Baltimore. They said it was instantly clear that the child was dead. And this county sheriff's office spokesperson Diane Roosen. In September, Sims was indicted and charged with manslaughter, first degree child abuse and child neglect. In 2011, she was charged with secondary assault after a fight with her mom, Bonatasha Sims. In an officer claimed the Romachia Sims pulled a dreadlock from her mom's head and her mother sought a peace order requiring her daughter to stay away from her. Now she was found not guilty in those cases due to mental health issues. They said no one in their right mind is going to sit out there for two days in the elements. The the told us to look at WRTV in in this the mom talking about her daughter noting that she also went without food, water and shelter for those days. And she said that her daughter had just begun taking medication for mental health issues and wondered if the dose was incorrect causing her to have an episode. And just we obviously I'll get to the point of it in a second but just weeks before the this incident, the boy's father had petitioned for sole custody of him, saying he believes she was unfit to care for him. And ultimately he agreed to share custody even though she was recently diagnosed with schizophrenia. So y' all would led to this. Back in 2015, Sims pushed her son on a swing for over 40 hours straight. Let me see if I can play this article for you before you go.

We want to ask you about another case that's coming out. We've gotten some details in a disturbing story out of Maryland. A woman who was found pushing her dead toddler in a playground swing for more than 40 hours last year will not face any prison time. A Judge decided that 25 year old Remicia Sims was not criminally responsible for her son's death because she was suffering from schizophrenia and was not on medication at the time. Police say the 3 year old who died from dehydration and hypothermia. And under the plea agreement, Sims must see a psychiatrist and take medication. What are your thoughts on this ruling? No jail time.
Legal Expert or Defense Attorney
It's a heartbreaking story and we have to remember that there is a dead child. But we also have to remember what a crime is and what our criminal justice system is all about, which is it's about intent. You have to intend to commit a crime. You have to knowingly commit a crime. You have to know what you're doing. If you don't have that knowledge. If you don't have that intent, how can you be found guilty of a crime, no matter how heinous it is? So therefore, if it is shown that I cannot understand and appreciate the nature and the consequences of my actions, if I cannot tell the difference between right and wrong, I cannot be held criminally responsible, no matter how horrifying it is. And in this particular instance, look, take a look at what was happening after the fact. I would respectfully submit to you that swinging a dead child in a swing for 40 hours, that in and of itself gets you pretty well down the road, that this woman did not have a clue as to what she was doing. So whether we like it or not, without that knowledge, without that intent, she is not criminally responsible. And, and the right thing was done.
Guest or Expert Commentator
Well, have you ever seen a case like this? And if so, what could a defense attorney have done to convince the court to go in the other direction?
Legal Expert or Defense Attorney
It is extraordinarily difficult. What it often comes down to is a battle of experts. You're going to have a doctor examine your client. And the doctor, assuming that the doctor is in your camp, is going to say, look, I've examined this woman. I performed a number of tests on her. This is what I believe that she, she was suffering from at the time. This is my diagnosis in terms of what she was suffering from at the time. And as a result, she could not understand the difference between right and wrong. She could not appreciate the nature of what she was doing, the consequences of her actions, and therefore she's not guilty by reason of insanity. The prosecution will have their own expert who'll say, I examined her and you know something, she knew exactly what she was doing. She was okay. She may not be perfect, she may have issues, but she sure as hell knew that what she was doing was wrong.

Yeah, I. I agree that, you know, not about her pulling her mom's hair out years earlier and all that, but isn't that sad? Three year old son and his action for 44 hours. And evidently she was having a mental health episode. The kid froze to death on the swing. And she stood out there for 44 hours. No sleep, non stop. I don't know how they established it all. And that baby froze to death. Holy. So the. Now I don't believe she, she needs to be in a mental hospital, a psych ward, not out on the street on probation. But I mean, you got that Kind of issue. Wow. It's just really bizarre.

It's time for Dum Dum in the court. Foreign, Y'. All. And we're going to Bangkok. Bangkok. Always love that name. A man has been arrested after he was caught climbing into an enclosure of Mu Ding, the adorable pygmy hippo, who became a social media sensation. Now, the Thai man entered the enclosure on Tuesday evening while a keeper was away and no other visitors were around. Security footage, which all over the Internet, y', all, shows a man wearing a black beanie, sunglasses, a green tank top and brown shorts. And he approaches Mudine, the hippo's cage, and her mother, Jonah, while holding a tablet. And he's. He's taken. Appears to be taking photos on the tablet. So he climbs into the enclosure and he remains inside the enclosure for a minute or two. But then what happens? Staff comes back and they see him and when they see him, they. He didn't try to run. He's just like it. I'm inside the enclosure, right? So the staff called for police. Now, Moon, Dean, the baby. This really cute little baby hippo. Pygmy hippo, I guess they call it. Mudin, Swords of stardom, shortly after she was born in 2024, thanks to a keeper who shared adorable pictures in videos of the baby hippo on social media. Since then, she has drawn large crowds from Thailand and abroad who want to witness her charm in person and shoot photos and videos of her cute moments for themselves. The police have initially charged a man with trespassing, but the investigation is still ongoing in. The zoo intends to pursue all available legal actions. So the man has now been released on bond that. Don't give his name, y'. All. And he said Mudin and Jonah were safe as the man did not try to touch him. Them. In a statement posted Tuesday on the zoo's official Facebook page, it said both animals appears slightly startled by the encounter and they would be monitored closely by a veterinarian in the zoo. Also urge visitors to strictly follow all rules and instructions from staff for the safety of both themselves and the wildlife. Let me tell you this, you may not know this, but hippopotamus are one of the most dangerous animals in the world. They kill a ton of people in Africa and wherever else they're at the. So him climbing over, maybe he says, social media influencer or whatever, and he wants to get some likes and views of this, you know, climbing the fence and getting up close to the baby, the pygmy. There were some man hippo he's lucky Mama Jonah didn't run his ass over. And there you have it. Well, sometimes you don't need the court system to get justice. But let's do this one. 4, a man Anchorage police say tried to murder his ex wife and was a suspect in the death of his former father in law has been found dead. According to APD, the body of 61 year old Matthew Becker of Arizona was discovered Sunday morning in the woods in Eagle River. Police have not said how he died. According to charging documents, Becker turned up at his ex wife's hair salon on Cordova Street Saturday morning as she was getting ready to open the business. She told police Becker got out of his car and shot at her several times as she ran for her life. Becker's ex wife told investigators that she was worried about her elderly father who had lived with her in their Airport Heights home. Police believe that Becker drove directly from the encounter with his ex wife wife to her house where he allegedly killed her father, 87 year old Romaine Clark.

Based on preliminary investigation, it appears that the suspect went to the rear of the victim's residence, fired a couple of rounds through a glass window, striking and killing the victim and then fleeing the scene.

Alaska's new source spoke with Becker's brother today who told us that he owned a comedy club in Bisby, Arizona where he moved after his divorce. He also told us his brother had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

There you have it, hell or jail, right? So you're so pissed off of the ex. You go from Arizona to bumfuck, Egypt, Alaska and you shoot at your ex numerous times, missing her every time. But you know what? Then you just go to her place of residence and kill her elderly father, your old father in law. I gotta do, I gotta do this one, y'. All, you know, I'm a hunter and turkey season's about to open in two weeks and we get, we give fair pursuit and you know, follow the laws and everything else. The, you know, the certain, even, even on turkey, turkeys there's, there's certain things you can shoot them with and you can't shoot them with. Like you can't shoot them on a higher power rifle. It's not fair, right, because you could shoot them from hundreds of yards away. It's probably the hardest hunting that there is. But you know, duck and geese hunting, same thing you got, you can't have lead in your, in your shotgun shells anymore and different things like that. It's Very, very strict rules on how many birds you can kill and what you can use and can't use and, and what have you, like, can. Again, you can't shoot them on a higher powered rifle. I'm pretty sure you can't shoot them with this either.

Coming right back to Ascension Parish in Louisiana, which is a parish that butts up to Livingston Parish. And you've heard me talk about a thousand times, but here we go. Let's play another clip.

I'll take a look here.

This social media post sparked outrage in Ascension Parish showing a Canadian goose with

some kind of dart stuck in its neck.

to our wildlife a lot more than you think.

Raelyn Morrissey calls her backyard her happy spot. She feeds the geese, fish and turtles. Almost every day you see the geese

trying to raise a little animal lover here.

But not even a day ago, she noticed that one of her frequent flyers had been shot with a blow dart.
News Correspondent or Field Reporter
It's just awful.
Woody Overton
I don't understand how some people can

do something like that.
News Reporter
If you live near a pond, park or a bayou, you probably have a few wildlife neighbors, too. Experts say what happened here is more common than you think. Polly Glover has spent years in the field protecting Louisiana's wildlife. She says the outrage is justified.
Legal Expert or Defense Attorney
Public outcry was pretty intense about the

injury that the bird had sustained.
News Reporter
Glover says hunting birds with the intent to consume them is one thing, but leaving an animal injured is another. But if you want to help, it can get complicated. Unless you're federally permitted and unless you
Woody Overton
know how to handle these birds, you're going to cause more harm to the bird and potentially harm yourself.
News Reporter
The best option is to call Wildlife and Fisheries, but even then, help may be limited, which means this goose could spend the rest of its life with a dart in its neck.
Woody Overton
We only have one earth, and we

That goose is still out there, still with the dart. And unless someone with the right credentials steps in, there may be nothing anyone can do. Morrissey says she'll keep watching and keep hoping her neighbors remember that this backyard belongs to all of them. Riley Kramer, WB9 News Y if you

get a chance, you have to go watch this video. It's on our local news channel, WB, channel 9 out of Baton Rouge THE this neighborhood is like, I'm, I, I'm Guessing it's apartments. And then, you know, everywhere in South Louisiana, almost everywhere, people have to dig out ponds in these new areas. Like in Ascension Parish and Livingston Parish, it used to be swamp or cow pastures or what have you. But they, they take the dirt from the ponds and they build their homes on it. Right. Raised pads.
Co-host or Sponsor Announcer
And so they have these ponds and it's pretty.
Woody Overton
And I have these.
Co-host or Sponsor Announcer
I have Canadian geese here on my pond.
Woody Overton
Right. Used a blow gun. And it had to be the most amazing shot of. In the history of blow gun shooting. But it. Because their necks, these geese's necks are not big. This goose is still walking around with this blow dart through its neck. Now, how they missed the air chamber or whatever, I don't know. It almost looks like the goose is. Has a. A neck ring instead of a nose ring. But you, whoever did that, you're a. I mean, it just doesn't make any sense. Absolutely ridiculous. All right, I'm gonna bring you two more quick ones, y', all, and from home and play this clip. This is from the sheriff's office where I used to work. Jason R. Is the sheriff there now. A dear friend of mine, we came up together and I lived in WATSON at this McDonald's where this incident happened. The. Even when I remember when it wasn't there. But on. When I used to travel from up here to the studio in Denham Springs, I would stop there every morning. I would do in my McDonald's mobile app order. Now, Watson is the far northern end of Livingston Parish, is kind of affluent. It's not a lot of crime, if any. And till last night, last night at

10 o' clock, we first told you about this.

In Livingston Parish, the sheriff's office is investigating a deadly shooting at a McDonald's in Watson.

Yeah. Earlier this morning, Sheriff Jason R. Posted

a video saying multiple suspects along with

a vehicle have been taken, located and taken into custody. Here's what he had to say.
Woody Overton
But I feel pretty good that we may be able to confirm that we have our suspects. We won't know that until we completely go through all this. This again, trying to do the best we can to keep you all informed. Just keep following us on social media. As soon as we're able to confirm something, we will.
Legal Expert or Defense Attorney
Yeah. Sheriff Hard says that they're investigating this shooting as a homicide.
Woody Overton
And coming up, we're going to get
Legal Expert or Defense Attorney
reaction from an employee at that McDonald's who was working when the shooting happened.
Woody Overton
So, yeah, I followed it on social media as it happened, y', all, because it doesn't happen up there. And then when sheriff ards on doing that video, you can see Ben Bourgeois, the chief of the detectives walking in the background. You have heard me talk about him on everything from glory hold or whatever. And he's got all his guys out there. But one of the employees they talked to said they heard two gunshots, you know, or they heard two loud thuds and didn't think anything about it and they went out and saw the deceased person. So sounds like they got their man or getting their man and or men prayers for the victims in their family. In the other story I was going to share for you is from a town I used to live in in Livingston Parish. We're gonna go to Albany, Louisiana and I'll just play it for you because it's short. But this Albany high school, the I've been in a thousand times, it's where all my buddies graduated from. Another principal, this is, you know, the chief of police hotel in Albany. He's dead now. He's, he was Russell, he was one of the longest running cops in the state of Louisiana. And Alvin is just a good hometown place. And then you got this kind of it's time for effed up professionals. Check this one out.

Also in Livingston, an Albany high school teacher has now been arrested for misdemeanor sex sexual battery. 48 year old Byron Humphrey was booked on the charge. This was just yesterday afternoon. According to the Livingston Parish jail, Humphrey is now listed as the wrestling coach for Albany High School. WBRZ has reached out to Livingston schools for any information. We haven't heard back yet and I'll
Woody Overton
keep you updated on it as it comes along. But the, I read that this guy, it was, you know, one of the students reported that there he made him uncomfortable, that he's always won hugs from them and telling me he loved them and, and all that stuff. But evidently he crossed the line because they wouldn't bring charges like that against him if there wasn't something the, the law had been broken. All right, look, I just got an update from the Livingston Paris app on the McDonald's shooting I told you about. So the, it just popped up. So I'm gonna read it to you. And three have been arrested for the, the, the murder that occurred at the McDonald's in, in Watson. So the victim is Mitchell Ventress, who's 26, of Denham Springs and in custody. They have a cavante Dennis who's 25 of Baton Reed Kedric Jack, who's 39 of Baton Rouge and Keandra McNeely who's 26 Baton Rouge and they are in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison under arrest and they have Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office has a hold on them and they will be transported for processing into the Livingston Parish Detention center. So the LPSO uniform patrol deputies were dispatched to the Watson McDonald's around 7pm on 318 of 26 in reference to a male deceased in the driver's seat of a vehicle from an apparent gunshot wound. And Sheriff Jason R. Says upon arrival it was learned two males exited the passenger side of the vehicle after a witness heard a gunshot. A suspect vehicle was developed and later located in the central area in East Baton Rouge Parish in Yalls right across the bridge from Livingston. The vehicle was stopped and found to be occupied by Keante Dennis and Keandra Magne and both individuals were detained. They had just left an apartment on Sully Drive in East Baton Rouge. And upon execution of a search warrant at the apartment, more individuals were transported to the Violent Crimes Unit for questioning. Detectives learned that K. Dennis and Ker Jack were went to the McDonald's parking lot to meet with the deceased in order to purchase narcotics. During this meetup and for unknown reasons at this time, Mitchell was shot and killed. So there you have it over dope and boy, you know what? The before that McDonald's was there, I did that story where Billy Amy who's down with Baton Rouge PD got a promotion. Congrats on that Billy. But the, the right up the road at the ballpark, it was the same thing. The they. They shot and killed a young man and well, they shot him there and he, he did. He drove like a mile and a half. Who's right? Pretty much next door to where the McDonald's is now, but that old convenience store is torn down and Billy said when he got there the, the guy had bullet holes in and they were. He still had smoke coming out of his head. So it happens, happens everywhere. Crime is never going to stop whether you're a student on spring break in Florida or some who wants to see a pygmy hippopotamus up close or right back here in Albany molesting kids and earn Watson killing somebody over a little bit of dope. So. All right, that's all I got for today. I love and appreciate each and every one of y'. All. Thank you for liking listening and sharing.
